Of all the quotes and sayings from America’s founding, there’s one known to almost all of our citizens, it ends with “and justice for all.” Images of a blindfolded lady liberty holding the scales of justice (supposedly) symbolize the fact that the American judicial system does not see age, color or creed. The judge in this tragic case seems to have tossed all that, with a shocking decision on the guilt of the attackers and then a gag order for everyone involved. There’s a politically correct cover-up going on, and it’s despicable.

Pamela Geller Provides Account of Outrageous Sentencing for Sexual Assault of 5-Year Old Idaho Girl by Muslims

Janice Kroeger, the Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, who was supposed to be trying these boys for their crimes, defended the boys and repeatedly attacked Lacy, the victim’s mother. A therapist for the boys was present, as well as a parole officer and a detective. Everything that was said was designed to portray the perpetrators as victims. Throughout the proceedings, they were repeatedly called victims, and the youngest one was called “the biggest victim of them all.”

The court heard all about how the attackers are doing well in school, and about how smart they are. They were praised for the supposed ordeal they had to go through. It was claimed that all three are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from having to go through courtroom proceedings.

After this lovefest, which lasted for five hours in the courtroom, all three boys were sentenced, one after the other. All three were given probation. They were not found guilty of rape, but of sexually lewd conduct.

In the midst of this judicial mugging, every time Lacy’s lawyer tried to speak up, he was silenced. The little victim, Jayla, was never even mentioned once by Kroeger or the judge – or by the police or anyone else. Only Lacy mentioned her, when she made her statement. Lacy detailed how the poor girl is still suffering the effects of this attack: she is wetting the bed and having bad dreams, and more.

Yet when Lacy completed her statement, Kroeger lashed out not at the perpetrators or their parents, but at Lacy. She viciously tongue-lashed Lacy for a full fifteen minutes, until finally Judge Borreson had to stop her. It’s as if it never happened.

A judge sentenced three Muslim refugee boys in the sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl in Idaho, but nobody knows the length or terms of the sentence because the judge has barred everyone in the courtroom, including the victim’s own parents, from speaking about the case.

The three boys — two from Iraq ages 7 and 10, and one from Sudan aged 14 — pleaded guilty in juvenile court in April to multiple counts of sex crimes in an incident that occurred last June in Twin Falls. The assault occurred at Fawnbrook Apartments, when 5-year-old Jayla, who is developmentally disabled, was lured into a laundry room, stripped of her clothing and sexually assaulted while the oldest boy filmed the entire incident.

Now, following a sentencing hearing Monday at the Snake River Juvenile Detention Center in Twin Falls, Judge Thomas Borresen of Idaho’s 5th Judicial District issued a gag order preventing everyone in the courtroom from saying anything about the sentence received by the boys.Judge Thomas Borresen at the Jerome County Court House

Borresen did allow the family to say they were unhappy with the sentencing, but threatened to jail them for contempt of court if they say why they are unhappy.

“We can’t talk about it since it’s a sealed case,” said Lacy Peterson, the girl’s mother, when contacted by WND Tuesday.

The family’s attorney also told WND he was bound by the judge’s gag order.

Mark Guerry sent the following text message to WND:

“Sorry but I am forbidden by court order from discussing anything that has gone on in the proceedings, especially the outcome of the sentencing. This is a juvenile case, which by its nature makes it a closed proceeding, and the judge has made it clear again that anyone who discusses it with the media, etc., will be held in contempt. Sorry but my hands are tied. All I can do is tell you the parents were not satisfied with the results of this case. They were especially upset with the prosecutor’s repeated statements in the media defending the juvenile defendants, rather than focusing on the victim. I can’t say anymore.”

Mathew Staver, chairman and co-founder of the nonprofit legal assistance agency Liberty Counsel, told WND that Judge Borresen was completely out of line in issuing a gag order after the fact in a criminal case.

“It’s unconstitutional for the judge to do that. There are gag orders that can be put on people during a jury trial, or if it’s a minor they can prohibit you from mentioning the name of the minor, but they can’t gag you after the fact,” Staver said. “This is public at this point. This judge, it just seems like he’s forgotten about the First Amendment in this case. He has no authority to do this, he can’t hold someone in contempt to keep them from speaking out about their displeasure with the case after the fact.”

Staver said case law is clear on the subject of gag orders.

“That’s a shame what happen to their little girl. This judge can’t gag them. They can voice their displeasure all they want to, this judge can’t do a thing to stop them,” he said. “Case law is clear. You cannot gag someone after the case is over. Anyone can comment on it, especially the victims. It’s my understanding what they wanted to do was criticize the outcome and they have that right.”

Staver said he feels so strongly about the issue of free speech that he would be willing to take the family’s case and challenge the judge’s order.

This isn’t the first time an official in Idaho has tried to squelch free speech in relation to the Twin Falls sexual assault case.

After the case came to light last summer, the former Obama-appointed U.S. attorney for Idaho, Wendy Olson, threatened to prosecute anyone who promulgated “false or inflammatory information” about the crime or the perpetrators. She was later forced to walk back the comments after being criticized by constitutional experts.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The resolution of the case was not accepted by the victim’s family, and it was not resolved properly.

From the beginning to the end, for Idaho officials this case was about one thing, and one thing only: not justice for this poor little girl who was brutalized and abused, but about making sure that Americans don’t start to realize what is happening and oppose the Muslim migrant influx. Idaho officials were willing to sacrifice this girl’s well-being for that goal – to their everlasting shame.

House Republicans Pass Bill to Rein In Dodd-Frank

On Thursday, while seemingly everyone in Washington was fixated on former FBI Director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, House Republicans were busy. A bill entitled the Financial Choice Act was passed, along party lines, which aims to significantly roll back many of the onerous banking regulations created by the Dodd-Frank Act. In speaking on the need to continue the process of government deregulation, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) tweeted, "Let me put it this way: #DoddFrank is more than a thousand pages long and has more rules and regulations than any liar-nObama-era law."

While the Financial Choice Act does not repeal Dodd-Frank, it does go a long way in reining in its congressionally independent powers. The House Republicans' bill specifically targets the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), an unelected and unaccountable board of bureaucrats. Clamping down on the CFPB's ability to create new financial regulations without approval from Congress is a very welcome change given the fact that elected representatives, not unelected bureaucrats, should have the power and responsibility to create significant rules and regulations. The new bill also stops the CFPB from collecting consumers' information without their permission.

Democrats' justification for the passage of Dodd-Frank was to prevent a repeat of the 2008 financial crisis — a crisis for which Democrats sowed the seeds with housing regulation. As is often the case with onerous government regulations, Dodd-Frank proved to do little in the way of actually helping small businesses and small banks, instead hurting them and resulting in years of sluggish economic growth. Rep. Rod Pittenger (R-NC) states, "Local bank leaders tell me they now hire more compliance officers than loan officers, as filling out forms for bureaucrats has become more important than growing the economy." The irony in Dodd-Frank is that its regulations, which were supposed to protect the little guy, have proven to prevent and hinder economic growth and opportunity for the little guy.

Many are predicting that the House bill is dead on arrival in the Senate, and it is certain to undergo significant changes, but there are some Democrats who have voiced support for reforming Dodd-Frank. ~The Patriot Post

Update: after the Comey testimony, which truly confirmed there was no “obstruction of justice,” Representatives Green and Sherman continue to chase windmills. They didn’t find it impeachable to have a president who abandoned Americans to die when under attack from Islamic jihadists, and then lied about the nature of the assault. They never questioned Susan Rice for her dubious five-time lying performance, nor the sitting secretary of state, later Democrat Party presidential nominee. When did we EVER hear Green and Sherman show concern about Eric Holder and the Fast and Furious scheme from the liar-nObama administration, that resulted in the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry? What is so very perplexing and telling about the progressive socialist left and these two rascals using crayons to draw up articles of impeachment is that we have a previous presidential administration where Americans were killed, due singularly to the deceitful and dismissive actions of liar-nObama…but hey, that was cool by them.

I’ve said it before and will say it over and over again. The only real “impeachable offense” that President Trump is guilty of is winning the election in November 2016. Therefore the left, aided by a corrupt liberal progressive media machine, will continue to hound him until they exact their two pounds of flesh. But this has no meaning, no credibility coming off the heels of what was clearly THE most corrupt, and dare I say, evil presidential administration we have seen in modern times.

Do Reps. Green and Sherman believe it’s fine to unleash the tyranny of the IRA, oops, I mean IRS against the American people? Can they actually believe lying about a major policy endeavor known as liar-nObamacare is completely acceptable — after all President liar-nObama was awarded the Politifact 2013 “Lie of the Year.”

And collusion with Russia? What do you call it when liar-nObama leans over, in a supposed “off mic” moment, and expresses to then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev “tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after my reelection?” Just look at the global gains made by Putin and Russia. Oh by the way, did Green and Sherman ever show anguish and angst about liar-nHillary Clinton’s uranium deal with the Russians?

With all this being said, what truly angers me the most — and yes, I expect utter stupidity and hypocrisy from the progressive socialist left — is the pure cowardice of the Republicans on Capitol Hill. If there were someone with cojones and courage, they would’ve looked at Chuck clown-Schumer and Nancy Pulosi and repeated exactly what I’ve addressed here. They would have told them that for eight years we watched countless examples of unconstitutional actions and definable “high crimes and misdemeanors” by Barack liar-nObama and you said or did nothing. We’re not holding any insidious hearings; we’re focused on the legislative and policy agenda for which the American people gave us this majority. If you want to sit in a corner and whine, we’ll order cheese. The is a contact sport, a bare knuckles brawl, and there are no Marquess of Queensberry rules of order and decorum when you’re dealing with the likes of Reality Leigh Winner…or for that matter Reps. Green and Sherman. I’m very close to referring the latter two for some psychiatric evaluation…something else the morally challenged progressive socialist left has recommended for President Trump.

Articles of Impeachment? Really fellas, let me tell you in simple Southern vernacular, what ever you write up, isn’t even worthy of being used in a field latrine. It’s time we look the left in the face and push back. There’s so very much at stake here, mainly the future of our Constitutional Republic. Never have I seen a greater collection of jackasses — their party symbol — who become more enraged over the weather 100 years from now than the Islamic jihadists killing and beheading us today. Now, explain to me, who in their right mind would take these people seriously? Today’s Democrat Party has been overtaken by the progressive socialist left, and truly the inmates of the insane asylum, such as U.S. Representatives Al Green and Brad Sherman are indicative of such.

An egregious Department of Justice operation got a welcome overhaul this week courtesy of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The DOJ, particularly under Barack liar-nObama and his criminal co-conspirator, then-Attorney General Eric Holder, made a practice out of robbing corporate settlement funds to fill a plethora of leftist coffers. In short, The Wall Street Journal explains, "After the GOP took the House and tried to cut spending for liberal interest groups, the liar-nObama Justice Department began to force corporate defendants to allocate a chunk of their financial penalties to those same groups."

In other words, liar-nObama exploited another channel through which the government was picking winners and losers and propping up pet projects — a blatantly unconstitutional scheme, as Congress (which has monetary authority) was essentially shunned. And we all know which political party benefits when it comes to government subsidies. Hint: Some of the beneficiaries include groups like La Raza and the National Urban League. But no more.

In a memorandum dated June 5, Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated, "The goals of any settlement are, first and foremost, to compensate victims, redress harm, or punish and deter unlawful conduct. It has come to my attention that previous certain settlement agreements involving the Department included payments to various non-governmental, third-party organizations as a condition of settlement with the United States. These third-party organizations were neither victims nor parties to the lawsuits."

As such, Sessions issued a new directive: "Effective immediately, Department attorneys may not enter into any agreement on behalf of the United States in settlement of federal claims or charges ... that directs or provides for a payment or loan to any non-governmental person or entity that is not a party to the dispute." Sessions should be commended for this initiative. The only problem is that this memorandum is guaranteed only until the next presidential election. Republicans in Congress should follow through on their endeavor to permanently outlaw this leftist "slush fund." ~The Patriot Post

{wnd.com} ~ Trying to be objective – and that’s sometimes difficult for me when it comes to politics – I don’t agree that former FBI Director James Comey’s congressional testimony was equally good news and bad news for President Trump. Trump came away a decisive winner.

Most agree that Trump benefited from Comey’s admission that the president was not in fact under FBI investigation for colluding with the Russians or for anything else. But many Trump critics, left and right, see Comey’s negative portrait of Trump as so damaging as to cancel out the positive news, which, on reflection, is incorrect.

It’s true that Comey painted Trump as dishonest, petty and vindictive and as one who operates in office as a business executive rather than someone who respects the parameters of his authority. Even if true, is this caricature news to anyone? Trump’s critics already believe it, and most of his supporters believe it is overstated.

This is not to say that Trump’s defenders would approve of any abuses of authority, but they aren’t predisposed to assume that every unorthodox action on Trump’s part is malicious or indicative of a tyrannical or criminal mindset.

So the only “news” that emerged from Comey’s testimony – the only facts that might change the status quo ante – was that Trump has not been under investigation this whole time. Not only that but he did not pressure or even attempt to persuade Comey to go softly on any of his associates on the Russia investigation if it were discovered they had some illicit interaction with the Russians.

For some, Comey landed a blow against Trump in alleging he told Comey he “hoped” the investigation against Flynn would end and in requesting from Comey “honest loyalty.” Here again, Trump’s attackers are predisposed to assume he was using code to direct Comey to stop investigating Flynn and to pledge his loyalty to Trump above his professional duties. Trump’s defenders reject that, so on this issue, the needle didn’t move a centimeter in either direction.

Some might say: “Hold on. This isn’t just a matter of Trump supporters believing one way and his defenders another. Comey was the only one in the room, and he took Trump’s words as directives.”

Well, even if you assume that’s what Trump meant, which I don’t, legal experts agree that no one has been charged with obstruction of justice on such vague language as “hope.” The thought of it is preposterous. Moreover, some experts argue that as chief executive, he has the power to end investigations conducted by the executive branch. Let’s remember that the Flynn investigation and Russia investigation are two different matters and that Trump is not the target of either one of them. If it occurred, it would have been inappropriate behavior but hardly criminal or impeachable conduct.

But I don’t believe that Comey’s inferences are accurate. Trump is an advocate by nature and is loyal to his friends. It’s perfectly reasonable to assume that he was just expressing his vote of confidence in Flynn’s character and was by no means suggesting that Comey ignore hard evidence against him, much less directing him to.

I have a hard time believing that Comey really thought at the time that Trump was giving him orders. If he really believed so, then it is indisputable that he acted improperly at the time and thereafter. If he really believed Trump was trying to obstruct justice, he had a duty to do something about it, but instead, he decided to hold it close to the vest and only use it if he needed it later. Is that the way a man in his position should have behaved?

As to Trump’s firing of Comey, if you were Trump, wouldn’t you be outraged if Comey refused to disclose that you were not under investigation when everything else was leaked – as Sen. Marco Rubio noted? Didn’t Trump have a right to be indignant over the lies being disseminated every day on this and a right to want to quell these lies that were impeding his agenda? Was it unreasonable for Trump to think Comey was biased against him, seeing as Comey refused to set the record straight on this matter when he’d certainly tried to set the record straight publicly on other issues before?

What about Comey’s revelations concerning his own bizarre behavior? I was originally willing to believe that Comey was scrupulously aboveboard and would strive for objectivity – that he would try not to allow his personal biases to color his objectivity or influence the course of the investigation or his assessment of the evidence. Based on his own testimony, I am now quite skeptical.

Comey bent over backward to conclude that liar-Hillary Clinton had no criminal intent in the handling of her private emails – yet his conclusion was in direct conflict with the evidence he meticulously detailed against her. It is hard to believe he would have given any other target such an enormous benefit of the doubt.

Yet despite his professed reluctance to infer criminal intent there, he leaped to such conclusions against Trump with the eagerness of a never-Trumper. “Hope” equals “You are hereby ordered”? Give me a break. “Loyalty” equals “I order you not to follow the evidence wherever it may lead you”? Come on now. These inferences wouldn’t be reasonable for any investigator, but for Comey, who expressed reluctance to making inferences on intent, they are outrageous.

Comey damningly admitted he leaked information to a Columbia law professor in the hope that it would lead to the appointment of a special investigator. Some say Comey was within his rights as a private citizen. But as certain legal experts have noted, he acquired that information when he was working for the government, and it wasn’t his private property. Comey holds himself out as the pinnacle of decorum but became a perpetrator of the very type of conduct he was self-righteously investigating.

Some applauded Comey’s willingness to speak truth to power, but he admitted that he didn’t object to Trump’s allegedly improper overtures to him. In this hearing, Comey showed himself to be far too concerned with the public’s perception about him and allowed his personal feelings and biases to interfere with his objectivity. In the end, he didn’t lay a glove on Trump but significantly damaged himself – and, as a bonus, exposed Barack liar-nObama’s second attorney general, Loretta Lynch, as a perpetrator of the very behavior others have improperly attributed to Trump.

Many of us know young people who are either leaving high school and moving on to college or graduating from college and heading off into the world. But college and the promise of better career opportunities aren’t what they used to be.

The job market for college graduates in America in 2017 is tighter than it’s ever been, and it gets more competitive every year. No matter the degree earned, the average college graduate is becoming less likely to find a job in their chosen profession within five years, in some cases even 10 years, after graduation. Given the fact that a four-year college education can cost anywhere from $40,000 to $150,000, this is a troubling fact that is crippling an entire generation of young people looking to enter the workforce.

It’s a frightening and demoralizing situation to be saddled with a debt large enough to buy a small home before the age of 25 with nothing to show for it but an 8 ½ x 11-size piece of onion skin paper with fancy lettering. There was a time when these degrees led straight to high-paying jobs. But that time is quickly waning.

Change is happening on a social level on college campuses, too. A recent article in the Denver Post notes that women now outnumber men nearly two to one in college attendance. Women hold nearly 60% of all bachelor degrees, and they account for almost half of all students in law, medical and graduate business programs.

It’s a great thing and a long time coming that women have reached this level of academic excellence. But it comes amidst a wave of militant feminism that has a high price. By comparison, over the past decade, as the Denver Post notes, close to 30% of male college students have quit during their freshman year. This is a nationwide phenomenon. What gives?

There is something ugly beyond the increasingly limited economic value of a college education in modern America. And that’s the fact that college isn’t about education anymore. It’s about indoctrination. Colleges in this country are not a place for learning, but are rather factories for cranking out sycophants of leftist ideology. They are surely not the haven for free speech they pretend to be. Look at the walkouts, protests and riots that are now taking place on college campuses sparked by nothing more than diverse opinions that run counter to statist groupthink.

Relationally, college has gotten bad too. James Shelley, director of the Men’s Resource Center at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, gives voice to one of the real reasons young men don’t want to be on college campuses. These institutions, says Shelley, “welcome young men to college by essentially telling them that they are potential rapists.”

Indeed, incessant repetition of the phony one-in-five-women-are-raped statistic isn’t helping. Why would young men subject themselves to such legal jeopardy?

The hostile social environment combined with the extremely limited return on investment of spending money and time in an institution of higher “learning” that no longer offers better employment after graduation makes college a bad idea for a lot of young men. It should come as no surprise that they are dropping out of — or not even bothering to enroll in — these institutions.

The problem this growing segment of emasculated men are experiencing is that there isn’t really a viable alternative outside of college. Society has effectively shamed the idea of vocational training and learning a trade as some backwards mindset that no longer suits our young people. Working with your hands has become scorned in a nation that was built by people who once practiced the very trades that we now need most.

The fact is there are not enough tradesmen, or tradeswomen for that matter. The high-end professions that college is supposed to train people for these days are drowning in applicants. There are more people trained for these jobs than the market can bear.

While colleges teach classes on the evils of Western civilization and offer degrees in understanding “Star Wars” and “The Simpsons,” America’s infrastructure is thirsting for people with tangible skills. That’s where opportunity truly is, and where viable income and steady work can be found.

Mike Rowe, TV personality and one of America’s foremost practical thinkers, offers countercultural advice that should be considered by America’s young people: Don’t follow your passion. Passion doesn’t pay the bills; opportunity does. Don’t be inspired by the one-percenters who followed their passion and became Oscar- and Grammy-winning performers. Follow opportunity. Find where no one else is meeting a need and fill that need.

Higher education is not a sham. Wanting to learn more about the world is a noble pursuit and young Americans have an opportunity rare in most countries. But education is not a value in its own right. It should lead somewhere. And that place is not a leftist reeducation camp that teaches people to hate each other based on belief or gender. That place should be where you learn a skill or a trade that allows you to make a living and build a future for yourself and for your future family. Now we know why Comey gave liar-Hillary pass

{wnd.com} ~ Are you still trying to sort out the purpose of testimony by former FBI Director James Comey on Capitol Hill this week?

After everyone else in the world has had his or her say, allow me to bottom-line this for you:

Comey admitted that as FBI director, he knowingly and intentionally leaked privileged, self-serving information to the press. This after he referred to the whistleblower institution of WikiLeaks as “information porn.”

Why did Comey covertly leak his notes about meetings with President Trump rather than confronting Trump about what he thought was an inappropriate approach, or, alternatively, reporting the conversation to the attorney general or congressional oversight authorities? He explained that he did not have the “courage” nor the presence of mind to do that.

He admitted that he was never directed by President Trump to drop any investigation.

He admitted that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch pressured him to downplay the investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton’s email scandal during the 2016 presidential election campaign. He further confirmed that he saw her secretive meeting with former President Bill liar-Clinton as a conflict of interest.

So, what did we learn from all these revelations – some candid and others tortured?

I think we know why Comey gave liar-Hillary Clinton a pass for violating national security laws.

Comey’s testimony showed he was more concerned about his own personal reputation than doing his job as one of the nation’s top law-enforcement officers. It also demonstrates that the only real political pressure he experienced as FBI director was during Barack liar-nObama’s administration when he was ordered to downplay the liar-Clinton investigation by his immediate boss.

And that’s exactly what Comey did.

Of course, no one followed up on this revelation, though it was by far the biggest news hook to come from the hearing.

Let me review this once again.

Comey said he got political pressure from Lynch to drop or downplay the investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton’s email scandal – and that’s what he did. He didn’t leak anything to the press about it. He didn’t say he pushed back against the inappropriate suggestion. He didn’t suggest Lynch recuse herself from the investigation as Jeff Sessions, Trump’s attorney general, did in the case of the Russia probe.

Wouldn’t you agree that we now know, beyond any reasonable doubt, why Comey closed down the investigation into liar-Hillary Clinton’s email scandal? Because he was protecting his coveted job. It’s the same reason he didn’t raise any concerns with Donald Trump about his suggestions. He wanted to hold on to his job and was playing office politics himself.

He said it: He didn’t have the courage to challenge Trump.

He obviously didn’t have the courage or integrity to challenge Loretta Lynch.

If I’m missing anything here, please dissuade me from these conclusions.

But, I think what we learned was that Trump’s decision to fire Comey was one of the best choices of his first few months in office – at least as good as withdrawing from the Paris climate accord.

I’ve heard all I can stand to hear about Comey having personal and professional integrity.

His own words have betrayed him as a political animal who put his own personal career aspirations ahead of the national interest and justice.

I suspected all this before the hearing.

Now I have no doubt I am right.

Good riddance to Comey and his 15 minutes of fame. I found his personal testimony embarrassing, contradictory and unworthy of the revered image of the FBI.

Now can we please move on and get Washington working on behalf of the American people?

I write this letter to you with respect and concern. Respect because of your years of service to our country and your terrific campaign last year. Concern because of your grilling of Russell Vought, President Trump’s nominee for Deputy Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, earlier this week.

Frankly, sir, I found your exchange with Mr. Vought to be quite alarming, not to mention downright un-American.

May I have your ear for a moment, Mr. Senator?

Although I am registered as an independent rather than a Republican, I am strongly conservative, and so, in fundamental disagreement with much of your ideology. Yet when you rose to such national prominence last year, I found much to like about you.

You were unafraid to put your beliefs on the table. You were plainspoken rather than rhetorical. You had a great following among the younger generation. You had no history of ugly scandals in your past. And you had great passion and vision, in particular for a man in his 70s.

All this was impressive to me, and, in candor, I felt that the election was stacked against you and in favor of Mrs. liar-Clinton.

So, I bear no ill will towards you and I believe that you want what is best for America, as do I.

What concerns me is that you voted against Mr. Vought because of his mainstream, historic, Christian beliefs. You even stated that someone who holds to these values “is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about.”

With all respect, Mr. Senator, are you aware that Mr. Vought’s beliefs are far closer to those of many of our Founding Fathers than yours would be? And didn’t our Founders put in our Constitution that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

Yet you applied a religious test to Mr. Vought. On what basis?

Are you aware, sir, that his beliefs mirror those of some of our past presidents and Supreme Court justices, along with the beliefs of some of your esteemed colleagues in Congress? Most importantly, are you aware that Mr. Vought’s beliefs are taken straight from the New Testament?

You took exception to his quite orthodox statement that, “Muslims do not simply have a deficient theology. They do not know God because they have rejected Jesus Christ, His Son, and they stand condemned.”

Is it possible you misunderstood the meaning of these words? Could it be that you took them to mean something that Mr. Vought never intended?

After asking him if he felt he was statement was “Islamophobic,” which, of course, he did not, you asked him, “Do you believe people in the Muslim religion stand condemned?” This was followed by, “What about Jews? Do they stand condemned too? . . . do you think that people who are not Christians are going to be condemned?”

The answer for any Bible-believing Christian is simple. Yes, every human being stands condemned before God and in need of a Savior. That’s why God sent Jesus to die for our sins, and that’s why we send missionaries around the world to declare this message of salvation. May I give you the biblical context for this belief?

I imagine that, somewhere in your lifetime, you’ve heard the most famous verse in the New Testament: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Does that sound familiar? These are the verses that comes next: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:17-19, my emphasis).

Did you note those words, Mr. Senator? The New Testament is stating clearly that all human beings stand condemned in God’s sight because we have chosen our ways rather than His. For that reason, He sent Jesus into the world, not to condemn us but to save us.

That means that you, too, stand condemned before God, no matter how much good you have done. But you are not alone. Billions of others find themselves in the same predicament. The good news is that the same solution applies to all: trusting the Savior to forgive our sins and change our hearts.

Are you saying, then, that anyone who subscribes to these historic Christian beliefs is not fit to serve our country, even as Deputy Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget? Does that not strike you as standing in fundamental violation of the very principles on which our nations was founded? Isn’t this a classic example of advocating for freedom from religion rather than freedom of religion?

By your logic, not only would Mr. Vought and as mentioned, quite a few of your colleagues not be fit to serve, but a devout Muslim could not serve either, since Muslims believe that Jews, Christians, Hindus, and others must become Muslims to be saved. And what about an Orthodox Jew who believes that you, a non-observant Jew, are guilty of violating Torah and thereby sinning against God? Should that Orthodox Jew not be allowed to serve?

What if Mr. Vought had answered your questions by quoting the words of Jesus? What if he said, “Sir, I believe in Jesus Christ, who said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6) Would you have replied, “Well, if you believe what Jesus said, you can’t serve our country.” Really?

As a Christian, Mr. Vought would be duty bound to treat everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness, regardless of their religious beliefs. And as someone who loves God, he would expected to love his neighbor as himself. This too is part of his faith.

Yet you voted against him solely based on his standard, orthodox beliefs in the exclusivity of salvation through Jesus, stating, to repeat, he “is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about.”

To the contrary, sir, he is what this country has been about since the days of our first settlers. And it is people like him – people of robust faith who genuinely care about others – who this country needs today.

Perhaps, by now, one of your staff members has suggested to you that you misunderstood Mr. Vought’s statement and that, perhaps, you treated him unfairly.

If not, I do hope you will take to heart what I’ve written here, humble yourself and apologize, and then evaluate this candidate based on his overall qualifications.

If, however, you fully understood what Mr. Vought believed and for that very reason found him unfit to serve, then my concern is greatly intensified. You would then be advocating for an American that would become tyrannical and oppressive. And you would be declaring war on some of our most precious and fundamental freedoms.

Is that really the America that you want, Mr. Senator?

UK Daily Mail (h/t Sara S) Professor NcNair’s five tweets about Islam and the most recent terrorist attack in the United Kingdom have earned him a rebuke from QUT.

Abdul from Syria raped a girl in a car while everything was filmed with a mobile phone. The girl shouted, “Stop, I do not want to!” On the film, Abdul claimed that she “was so bad that she did not know what she said.” Now he gets away with youth care because he claims to be 16 years old – and does not face expulsion.
The girl contacted the Arab refugee child via social media and they decided to meet. In April this year, the girl was at a party in Kalmar County and drank too much alcohol, which led to her vomiting several times.
At the end of the night, she had a hard time taking care of herself. She then got help from Abdul and a friend who brought her to a car.
The girl lay unconscious in the back seat when the car suddenly stopped. When she woke up, she noticed that her lingerie was gone.
On April 19, Abdul was suspected of rape and on April 22, he was detained.
When the police made a search in Abdul’s home, movies and pictures were found in his computer that showed when the girl was raped. When the girl in question heard about what was found in Abdul’s computer, she began to panic because she was afraid that the material had spread.
The film has been used as the strongest evidence against Abdul. In a sequence, the girl hears shouting “No, stop, I do not want to!” Despite that, Abdul claimed during the trial that it was about voluntary sex.
During a police interview, Abdul was asked how he interpreted the girl screaming that he must stop and she did not want to.
“I was not focused on it, she just said things she knew about,” said the refugee child.
When asked to explain what he meant by that, the Arab replied:
“She said things that she did not know what was said. I mean she was so very horny that she did not know what she was saying.
“Like when you’re angry, you may say things that you are not aware of – things that you do not want to say,” Abdul added….

Syrian Asylum Seekers Arrested for Filming and Molesting Underage Girls

Four Syrian asylum seekers were arrested by police in the German town of Löbau after they filmed and molested underage girls at a swimming pool.
Police arrested the group of Syrian asylum seekers at the Herrenmannsbad outdoor swimming pool on Friday. Two of the men, aged 31 and 27, are said to have filmed several underage girls at the facility against their permission and then tried to sexually touch them in the swimming pool, MDR reports.
“Two asylum seekers, or perhaps four, have bothered girls there. They also made videos and that is the charge. We are now awaiting the investigation of the police and the prosecution,” said the mayor of Löbau Dietmar Buchholz.
The asylum seekers are said to have used their mobile phones to film the young girls. When one tried to physically molest a girl, the lifeguard on duty told him to stop and then called the police.
Police say the 31-year-old migrant was filming the girls whilst his 27-year-old fellow countryman was the one who molested several children in the pool itself. A 19-year-old and a 21-year-old are currently being treated as witnesses to the alleged crimes.
Mayor Buchholz announced the four men would be banned from the Herrenmannsbad pool going which the town runs.
Nearby Lake Berzdorf has also seen men of a “Mediterranean appearance” film women with their smartphones. As a result, the spokesman for the town of Görlitz, which manages the lake, said they have hired security to patrol the area.
Since 2015 there have been a high number of sex attacks in swimming pools in Germany and Austria. The most notorious attack occurred in Vienna when an Iraqi asylum seeker brutally raped a young boy in the pool changing room, the migrant claiming he was having a “sexual emergency”. He recently had his sentence reduced by a judge who deemed the seven years he was meant to serve as being too harsh.
Many cities and pools have tried various methods to reduce the number of sex attacks by migrants at swimming pools. Some have tried banning asylum seekers altogether but have faced immense opposition by left-wing, pro-migrant groups.
Leaked police documents last year showed the number of migrant pool sex attacks had sharply risen. “In particular, offences of rape and sexual abuse of children in bathing establishments is significant,” the report said.

Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (Vt) ripped Deputy Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget nominee Russell Vought for his Christianity during a hearing. Sanders, after questioning Vought about his Christian beliefs and Vought answering forthrightly, declared, "this nominee is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about. I will vote no." Over the weekend far left radicals countered peaceful protests against Sharia Law with violence, saying that protesters were motivated by hate. This country is not only divided along political lines, but also-and the case can be made-mostly along religious lines. This division is leading to persecution of God-fearing Americans.

The Founding Fathers worst nightmare is coming true. They believed that an overreaching government would naturally seek to control the freedoms of its people. That's why they put checks and balances into the system. But one of the problems with representative government is that it only works when the citizenship is engaged. John Adams, Founding Father and second US President, said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The religion he was speaking of is Christianity. Aside from Judaism, other religions are incompatible with a republican form of government. They tend toward despotism of varying degrees.

This precept was part of the very fabric of America as far back as the 1600s when the Pilgrims came here to escape religious persecution at the hands of the Church of England. Pastor of the Pilgrims John Robinson wrote in a farewell letter to those leaving on the Mayflower: "Lastly, whereas you are become a body politic, using amongst yourselves civil government, and are not furnished with any persons of special eminency above the rest, to be chose by you into office of government; let your wisdom and godliness appear, not only in choosing such persons as do entirely love and will promote the common good...not beholding in them the ordinariness of their persons, but God's ordinance for your good."

Robinson's letter is credited as inspiration for the Mayflower Compact, which shaped the Founders view on self-government. Exodus 18:21 influenced the Founders in devising our representative form of government: " Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens." Sanders and the radical left are wrong. While not all the Founders were Christian, they agreed that the Bible contained the principles for self-government. We are a nation divided politically because the absolute moral truth of Christianity is contradictory to the rebellious and immoral agenda of the left. They are willing to persecute those who don't agree with them.

Gay Pride Month and the ‘Shot Heard Round the World’

Quick quiz: According to statements published by the U.S. government, where was the shot fired that was “heard round the world”? Lexington and Concord, you say?

Good answer — but you’re only halfway there. There was another “shot heard round the world,” says the National Park Service. That one was in June 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in New York City, where two nights of rioting “led to the development of the modern LGBT civil rights movement.”

The Gay-Rights “Shot Heard Round the World”

You read that right. The U.S. government has co-opted Ralph Waldo Emerson’s deeply symbolic phrase to make the birth of the gay rights movement symbolically equal to the birth of our own country. To fill in the rest of the quotation:

The riots inspired LGBT people throughout the country to organize and within two years of Stonewall, LGBT rights groups had been started in nearly every major city in the U.S. Stonewall was, as historian Lillian Faderman wrote, “the shot heard round the world … crucial because it sounded the rally for the movement.”

There’s history at Stonewall, to be sure. And its reach was indeed global. The month of June is now designated “Pride Month,” and almost 150 gay pride festivals are scheduled in cities around the world.

But what does this mean for true freedom?

The Depth of Our National Confusion

It’s worth noting that Lillian Faderman’s full quote read, “to many homosexuals, male and female alike, the Stonewall Rebellion was the shot heard round the world” (emphasis added).

I give her credit for identifying the group who might have seen it that way. The Park Service’s version leaves that out, making it a statement for us all.

I shudder to think of how celebrations in 2017 would have turned out if Stonewall had happened a week later that year, on July 4. As far as I can tell, the White House has never been lit up in red, white, and blue. We’ve all got images seared on our brains, though, of it lit up in the six rainbow colors of the gay rights movement.

This isn’t just happening on some obscure web page, in other words. The gay rights movement has become America’s new freedom movement. It perfectly depicts the depth of our national confusion.

Freedom Based in the Image of God

For there is “freedom,” and there is freedom.

There is the freedom for which our forefathers fought at Lexington, Concord and beyond. It was a view of liberty rooted in a biblical understanding of what it means to be human.

They knew that humans are made in the image of God. We’re not just today’s snapshot in some ever-changing course of evolution. Instead human nature is a stable, enduring, real. We have a moral nature based in God’s own character. We have a well-designed sexual nature, based in God’s plan for us as individuals, couples and families who build communities and cultures together. We have a destiny based on how we relate to God in Christ and to each other in accordance with God’s design for us.

Argue all you want about whether America was founded as a Christian nation, there’s no denying that our founders’ view of human nature that was deeply influenced by the Bible’s view of humanity. Even Thomas Jefferson, who was no Christian, knew at our inalienable rights come from our Creator. Not government, not courts, not even (later on) our Constitution.

Our founders fought for freedom from political tyranny that kept them from determining their own course. Their fight was never for the “freedom” to do whatever anyone chose, though. Quite the opposite. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.” Freedom was not merely the ability to do as one wanted; it was the ability to do as one ought.

Or Freedom Based in Making Ourselves Our Own Creators

That’s the freedom for which the shots were fired at Lexington and Concord. Stonewall’s freedom has almost nothing to do with that. With all thought of a Creator cast aside, “freedom” now means being able to create ourselves after our own wills. Not satisfied with your sex? Create yourself all over again! Not content with the morality that’s held the Western world together – in spite of various wars and injustices – for centuries? Call it off! Re-make marriage while you’re at it!

And why not? The view now is that nothing about us is fixed. We’re evolving, so we can make ourselves whatever we decide to be. The same goes for human purpose and moral standards: There’s nothing there but what’s evolved over the eons, but we can alter that, too, as we will.

Our Choice: Celebrating Freedom or Free Fall

We claim this as a new-found freedom. But we’re like the kite that yearned to fly high and away, free of the string it thought was holding it down. Freedom? No. Free fall.

Yet this is the freedom our own Park Service symbolically equates with Lexington and Concord. The patriotism of red, white and blue is being displaced by the spectrum of the gay rainbow.

America was never perfect. It took us way too long to recognize that human rights belong to everyone. Still we got there in law and (to an obviously lesser, yet still helpful, degree) in practice. The shots fired at Lexington and Concord led ultimately to our country becoming the world’s greatest champion for true freedom. The shot fired at Stonewall is leading us in another direction altogether.

The LGBT crowd will be celebrating their “pride” this month. That’s their choice. Our own Park Service seems to be saying everyone else is obliged to join them. I can’t think of anything else that so clearly shows the depth of our national confusion. It is unclear if U.S. Soccer’s celebration of gay pride this month is related to Hinkle’s withdrawal but she wears her faith proudly on social media.

She proudly boasts Colossians 3:23 on Twitter which says: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

“If you live for people’s acceptance, you’ll die from their rejection,” the tagline also notes.

She also converted a gay pride logo into a celebration of the cross on Instagram the same day the Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage in 2015 while sharing her thoughts on the decision. That’s where we live now. No one forced us to set up camp there; we actually bought tickets and went voluntarily.

We even let our children be the canaries in that ghastly and demonic coal mine.

I know it’s all the rage to complain about helicopter parents hovering over their children’s every move, but we could have used a little more hovering in Connecticut recently. There, a troubled mustached 15-year-old boy who feels pretty won the state 100- and 200-meter dash titles, as a freshman.

Heck, hovering doesn’t even begin to describe what I would have done if my daughter had earned a place to run in that race. I would have gone all Gandalf: “You shall not pass!” I would have made them arrest me out in the middle of that track.

But doing nothing but mindlessly cheering while your daughter’s dreams are being shattered is pretty close to that, I guess. Any word if this dude hit the showers after the race with these girls against their will?

Oh, CNN’s Chris Cuomo called and told them to get over themselves if they don’t want to see any naked roosters in the hen house. Because men who like their Wonder Woman without hairy armpits are the real threat to women’s equality, we’re told. (Certainly not men who enjoy diminishing women’s physical triumphs, before disrobing in front of them and demanding they smile.)

What in God’s name is wrong with us?

This is actually happening. I actually am writing this column. And I am left with the cold, hard truth that if we won’t fight on something as elemental and obvious as boys-can’t-be-girls, we sadly deserve the cultural annihilation to come.

The same feminists who once sang “I am woman, hear me roar” are now strangely silent as opportunities are taken from our daughters — not to mention their hopes and dreams of being the next Mia Hamm, Serena Williams, or a host of other women who paved the way for the next generation’s moment in the sun.

Who needs the heteronormative patriarchy when you’ve got transgender, SJW madness … and the tyranny that comes along with a culture drunk on its own decadence?

My editor, Todd Erzen, has a middle school daughter who is one of the fastest distance runners in the entire country for her age category. Yet, at a recent event that she won handily, the majority of the boys who performed after her beat her time. Why? It’s called testosterone — boys and girls. And knowing that it is called testosterone — and not “patriarchy” — is called “brains.”

Indeed, Connecticut’s boy “girls’ champion” would’ve finished dead last in his rightful categories.

Yet not even almighty science can save us; it will be cast aside by progressives faster than you can say “Christianity” when it doesn’t provide a free pass to the dystopian fever swamp. Just as one example, an old episode of “Bill Nye the Science Guy” was recently edited in order to conveniently conform scientific fact about gender and sex to our current politically correct delusion.

Speaking of brains, here’s more inconvenient science from Dr. Larry Cahill, professor of neurobiology and behavior at UC Irvine. Neuroscience literature shows that the human brain is a sex-typed organ, says Dr. Cahill, with distinct anatomical differences in neural structures and accompanying physiological differences in function. Now that’s some “born this way” you can take to the bank, Lady Gaga.

This Connecticut fiasco is an affront to reason. For, on one hand, progressives say if we believe marriage is between a man and a woman we’re bigots. But then if men steal gold medals from women, they’re a new-age Rosa Parks or something. You have to be devoid of any and all discernment to assert such moral anarchy simultaneously.

Our girls are being told that they don’t matter as much as the boy who dresses up like a girl and beats them. It’s his word against hers. Just keep your mouth shut, and nobody gets hurt … supposedly.

Old and busted are the movies made about the real-life heroines who refused to accept such terms; the new hotness is enjoying the heavy bedazzled hand of your male transgendered oppressors, and their lackluster “feminist” enablers.

Gone are the days when Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, or Sissy Spacek would play the “she stood alone” role; enter the era of Bruce Jenner trading in his decathlon gold for “Tales of Social Justice Dumbassery.” Such as what it’s like to trade in the cover of a Wheaties box for an endorsement deal with CoverGirl.

One size – so to speak – fits all, ladies. Hope you enjoy your participation ribbons, because the medal stand is now reserved for those “women” whose necks must be shaved on the regular. MOAR Mother Of All Rallies Patriot Unification Gathering 9/16/17

UK Daily Mail (h/t Sara S) Professor NcNair’s five tweets about Islam and the most recent terrorist attack in the United Kingdom have earned him a rebuke from QUT.

‘QUT does not endorse or condone these personal comments. These views do not reflect those of the university,’ a spokesman Robert Kidd told Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

However it is unclear if Professor McNair, who is also a critic of U.S. President Donald Trump, has been sanctioned for expressing his opinion.

Like President Trump, Professor McNair argued there was a direct link between terrorism and Islam when it came to migration.

‘Muslims are not the problem. Migrants are not the problem. The problem is Islam and what it inspires Muslims to do,’ he said.

He went further and described Islam as a religion that promoted hatred against Jews, woman and gay people. ‘Islam is not a ‘religion on peace’. It is a religion of hate, misogyny, homophobia and antisemitism. How to defeat it?,’ he said.

In May, 22 people were killed in Manchester after a British-born suicide bomber from a Libyan family, Salman Abedi, detonated himself at an Ariana Grande concert.

Two weeks on from that atrocity, Professor NcNair has praised the singer and Miley Cyrus for performing a benefit concert in memory of the people, including children, who were killed at Manchester Arena. ‘Strong, sexy women slap Islam in the face,’ he tweeted.

The academic, who originally hails from Scotland, said Muslims needed to reflect on why their faith was corrosive.

If you’re guessing that “i” is for Islam, you’d be half right. British politician and FOX News commentator, Nigel Farage, suggests that internment camps for Muslims might soon be necessary.

During an interview on Fox & Friends, host Pete Hegseth asked Farage “how the borderless world that London lived in for so long — led by globalists — contributes to the ability for our enemy to infiltrate us and attack us.”

“I hope that [British Prime Minister] Teresa May goes a lot further,” he continued, “and says that not one person who has fought in Syria will be let back into our country.” According to Farage, a growing number of Britons now supporting putting Muslims in internment camps.

“This is now the third terrorist incident that has happened in my country in the space of as many months,” he explained. “And the mood that I get now is we want some real action. We don’t just want speeches.”

Farage admitted that the move “might alienate decent fair-minded Muslims.” Later in the morning, Daily Mail columnist Katie Hopkins also told Fox & Friends that “we do need interment camps.”

Unless we see the public getting tough, you will see public calls for those 3,000 to be arrested.”

According to The Guardian, the FBI considers Farage as a “person of interest” in the investigation into President Donald Trump 2016 campaign and the Russian effort to influence the U.S. election.
