"Stand Down" Where Have We Heard That Before?

"Despite a firm denial by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, a senior law enforcement source charges that she gave an order for police to stand down as riots broke out Monday night, raising more questions about whether some of the violence and looting could have been prevented." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/04/29/source-baltimore-mayor-ordered-police-to-stand-down/
Once again chaos, denials and burnt building ensue after a 'Stand Down' order was given. Or not given. Once again we have reports on the ground differing from our leader's statements.
The U.S. House Intelligence Committee’s report on the Benghazi attacks in November stating on Page 20, Paragraph 2: "Although some security officers voiced a greater urgency to depart for the TMF, no officer at the CIA was ever told to stand down. The evidence from eyewitness testimony, ISR video footage, closed-circuit television recordings and other sources provides no support for the allegation that there was any stand-down order. " http://intelligence.house.gov/investigative-report-terrorist-attacks-us-facilities-benghazi-libya-september-11-12-2012
However, Deja vu, According to the contractors on the ground: This statement is grossly incorrect. Kris Paronto, CIA security contractor, stated to the committee, looking Rep. Rogers directly in the eye, that he was delayed and was told to wait twice. Paronto also stated that the “27” minute delay and his team waiting was a severe military tactical mistake. The exact words “STAND DOWN” were used by the Chief of Base “Bob” to CIA security contractor, John Tiegen approximately 15 minutes after the initial “help” call from the DS agents on the radio at the facility under attack. http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2014/12/02/cia-benghazi-heroes-debunk-house-intel-report-as-full-of-inaccuracies-with-firsthand-account-from-the-ground/
Our leaders were not held accountable during the Benghazi debacle, and it is highly doubtful that the Mayor of Baltimore will be held accountable during the Baltimore debacle.
One of our founders warned us against apathy when holding our leaders accountable.
"A body of men, holding themselves accountable to nobody, ought not to be trusted by anybody." Thomas Paine
And as a great America Icon said, "When you allow unlawful acts to go unpunished, you're moving toward a gov of men rather than a gov of law"- John Wayne.

BIG GAY MARRIAGE HURRICANE ABOUT TO HIT GOP
WaPo: “Republican presidential hopefuls are struggling with how to position themselves on same-sex marriage, an issue that is bedeviling a party hoping to avoid social controversies as the 2016 election approaches. Rapidly changing public opinion has forced much of the field to recalibrate their pitches. Early front-runners have sought balance between the GOP base and the broader electorate - saying that they have no problem with gay people but oppose a national right to gay marriage and favor strong legal protections for business owners who do not want to serve same-sex ceremonies. It is a difficult task, with the perils on stark display last month in Indiana. Republican state lawmakers encountered criticism when they tried to strengthen religious-liberties laws in the face of legal same-sex marriage in that state. With support for same-sex marriage hovering around 60% percent nationally, opponents also risk being labeled bigots.”

Cruz’s dinner host apologizes for hospitality -   NYT: “Ian Reisner, one of the two gay hoteliers facing boycott calls for hosting an event for Senator Ted Cruz, [R-Texas] who is adamantly opposed to gay marriage, apologized to the gay community for showing ‘poor judgment.’ Mr. Reisner put the apology on Facebook, where a page calling for a boycott of his properties, the gay-friendly OUT NYC hotel and his Fire Island Pines holdings, had gotten more than 8,200 ‘likes’ by Sunday evening... ‘I was ignorant, naive and much too quick in accepting a request to co-host a dinner with Cruz at my home without taking the time to completely understand all of his positions on gay rights,’ Mr. Reisner said.”  -Fox News

CLINTON FOUNDATION: OH, YOU MEAN THAT $31  MILLION
Fox News: “The Clinton Foundation acknowledged Sunday that the nonprofit group ‘made mistakes’ in IRS filings and defended its disclosure of controversial contributions from a Canadian financier, following days of intense public scrutiny about foundation finances. ‘We made mistakes, as many organizations of our size do, but we are acting quickly to remedy them,’ foundation executive Maura Pally wrote on the foundation website. ‘And [we] have taken steps to ensure they don't happen in the future.’ The donations were called into question last week by Peter Schweizer, author of the soon-to-be-released book ‘Clinton Cash.’ Schweizer found Canadian financier Frank Giustra gave $31.1 million to the foundation after a 2005 uranium-mine deal he made in Kazakhstan, with former President Clinton at his side. The deal eventually led to one that gave Russia access to U.S. uranium deposits.”

Churches Targeted By EPA As Indoctrination Centers
(rickwells.us) - Anytime is a great time for the Environmental Protection Agency to attempt to manipulate public opinion and no place is safe from their intrusive Marxist scheming...That includes the very churches that will be outlawed once they have achieved their objectives. In what is a naked effort to purchase legitimacy by pairing their false message with that of the Bible, the The EPA has awarded an $84,000 grant to a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to study how churches can be used to manipulate their members into accepting the fraud of man-caused climate change. When they say fighting climate change, they are actually meaning an assault upon civilization. The climate Nazis are seeking the forced de-industrialization of the West on the way to global Marxism. Of course, with Marxism comes atheism, so what they are ultimately doing is enlisting foolish or greedy church leaders to take part in their own demise. It’s not unlike the American people funding the economy crippling, sovereignty destroying regulations. They have achieved a fair amount of bureaucratic inaccessibility and with it authoritarian autonomy. Stopping them is very difficult. The Pres or congress can stop them and the support from the American people.     http://www.rickwells.us/churches-targeted-by-epa-as-indoctrination-centers-mixing-real-religion-with-earth-worship/

Republicans Pulling Back The EPA Curtain Of Deception
(rickwells.us) - Transparency and the truth are Kryptonite to the false religion of anthropogenic, man-caused climate change...The UN’s IPCC and the EPA root their tyrannical ambitions in large part on fabricated “science” based upon secret, inaccurate and invalid climate models and “man is evil” guesswork that is peer-reviewed only by those within the UN’s incestuous agenda-driven community. It cannot stand in the light of public scrutiny and Democrats, deliberate and willing accomplices in the crippling criminal fraud that is being committed against the United States, understand that fact all too well. It is the reason they are fighting so fiercely to prevent the public from knowing what is used as the basis for the draconian EPA regulations. If the people knew that our economy was being targeted by Democrats and some turncoat Republicans, that our standard of living was deliberately being lowered in pursuit of their Marxist expansion towards the end of our Republic, they would find themselves in very untenable positions at best. A change of residence to a local penitentiary would for many be in the not too distant future. Aware of the threat, Democrats are pulling out all the stops to keep the criminal EPA a distant, unaccountable and untouchable bureaucratic monster, beyond the reach of its American victims.     http://www.rickwells.us/republicans-pulling-back-the-epa-curtain-of-deception-what-are-democrats-so-desperate-to-hide/

U.S. top court throws out nObamacare contraception ruling
(Lawrence Hurley) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday revived religious objections by Catholic groups in Michigan and Tennessee to the nObamacare requirement for contraception coverage, throwing out a lower court decision favoring President Barack nObama's administration...The justices asked the Cincinnati-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider its decision that backed the nObama administration in light of the Supreme Court's June 2014 ruling that allowed certain privately owned corporations to seek exemptions from the provision. nObama's healthcare law, known as nObamacare, requires employers to provide health insurance policies that cover preventive services for women including access to contraception and sterilization.     http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/04/27/us-usa-court-obamacare-idUSKBN0NI1I920150427

DHS is Scrambling to “Naturalize” 9 Million Immigrants
(Shae Weatherall) - In spite of the majority opposition of American citizens, the nObama administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is making a full-scale effort to naturalize 9 million immigrants before the 2016 presidential election...In doing so, they have solidified allegations that the Democrats’ immigration reform and amnesty plans were in fact centered around creating hordes of new Democrat voters. Inside sources from the DHS told PJ Media that the department’s “Task Force on New Americans” has reallocated a large amount of funding from their computer based “Electronic Immigration System,” in order to use those resources for sending correspondence to all 9 million green-card holders in the U.S., urging them to naturalize before the 2016 election. Also, according to the article by J. Christian Adams, he was given a more candid insight of the policy by a dissenter who is currently employed at the DHS. This effort is totally illegal and unconstitutional.      http://madworldnews.com/dhs-scrambling-naturalize-9-million-immigrants-2016-election/

Leftist Tyranny: Punish Dissenters, Squelch Liberty

(David Limbaugh) - Forget for a moment the ever-failing economy, the implosion of our foreign policy coherence and our virtually unilateral withdrawal in the war on terror under Barack nObama’s presidency...If liberty lovers don’t start fighting back soon, we’ll forfeit our freedom of thought and religious expression under the assault of fascist leftist activists in our culture. Let’s just look at two of the many recent events that should have us very concerned. As you may have guessed, they revolve around the controversial matter of same-sex marriage. At the outset, let me say that this issue is no longer about same-sex marriage or gay rights; it is about our basic liberties.       http://www.wnd.com/2015/04/leftist-tyranny-punish-dissenters-squelch-liberty/

Take Cuba off the State Sponsors of Terrorism List?
(George Phillips) - As Sonia Alvarez Campillo was leaving Catholic Mass on July 14, 2013 with fellow members of Ladies in White, her pro-democracy organization, she was assaulted by Raul Castro's agents...These "security" agents broke Alvarez Campillo's wrist as well as her husband's ribs in their attack on her and other members of her group. Sunday after Sunday in Cuba, the Ladies in White (Damas de Blanco) -- members of a movement started in 2003 by wives and other female relatives of jailed dissidents in Cuba -- have peacefully demonstrated for freedom and human rights in cities across Cuba. They have continually been harassed, beaten, and imprisoned in Raul Castro's Cuba. In an attack just two months ago, Lady in White member Digna Rodriquez Ibañez was pelted with tar by agents of the regime.     http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5639/cuba-terrorism-state

Iran Forces Seize U.S. Cargo Ship With 34 People On Board
(Tyler Durden) - Iran’s Farsnews confirms the Arabiya report, stating that “a US cargo ship with 34 crew was stopped and seized by Iranian Navy warships on Tuesday. The Iranian Navy has confiscated the American trade vessel with all its 34 crew for trespassing on Iran’s territorial waters in the Persian Gulf.”...An Iranian warship is now taking the American vessel to Iran’s Southern port city of Bandar Abbas in the Persian Gulf. There has been no official confirmation of the seizure yet. It is unclear why Iran would do this and if this is merely yet another Saudi provocation (expect a full denial by Iran), but the US kneejerk reaction may not only scuttle, so to say, any ongoing Iran nuclear negotiations, but led to a far more violent retaliation, which may explain the move in crude if not the move lower in stocks.     http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-04-28/iran-forces-seize-us-cargo-ship-34-people-board-al-arabiya-reports

When Partisan Lying by the Press Damages a Nation
(Cliff Kincaid) - The Founders counted on an adversarial press to keep America’s politicians honest and accountable. If our media won’t investigate the backgrounds of our candidates on a bipartisan basis, our entire constitutional system is in jeopardy...Remember how in 2012 The Washington Post dug into the past of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and reported that during his high school years he helped pin a boy down and cut his hair off.  Their intent was to suggest that Romney had a history of intimidating and harassing people less fortunate than himself. Reporter Chris Cillizza followed up by asking, “Was Mitt Romney a bully? Does it matter?” On the other hand, Barack nObama’s relationship with a member of the Communist Party who may have been a Soviet espionage agent was not newsworthy when he ran in 2008. Was nObama influenced by a Marxist? Yes. Does it matter? Yes. But the Post still can’t bring itself to admit the truth.       http://www.aim.org/special-report/when-partisan-lying-by-the-press-damages-a-nation/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email042815&utm_medium=email

Iran: nObama Reaping What he has Sown
Lt. Colonel James G. Zumwalt, USMC (Ret.) - nObama may be unfamiliar with the verse, “As you sow, so shall you reap,” since it originates in the Bible and not the Quran...The verse tells us everything one does has repercussions. Therefore, the inability to escape the consequences of our actions should motivate us to take positive actions, even when difficult to do so, and thus avoid negative consequences. In one word, we are talking about karma. nObama’s actions vis-à-vis Iran have generated a lot of karma-and it has not been of the good kind. That should be most telling about his foreign policy towards Iran. nObama has failed to heed the advice of seasoned experts who understand that which he clearly does not-the mullahs’ mindset. nObama takes the narcissistic approach that he alone can deal with the mullahs. It existed even before he was elected president, blinding him to the counsel of others.       http://www.aim.org/guest-column/iran-obama-reaping-what-he-has-sown/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email042815&utm_medium=email

More Pentagon Corruption: $1.3 Billion Missing
(Mark Horne) - Pentagon corruption has cost us trillions in the past, and the money continues to bleed. I have seen other headlines about other instances of missing money. A few hundred million here, a billion there… no one seems to care...Here’s one story I wrote about a measly couple of million dollars being unaccounted for. Whenever anyone suggests mildly restricting the unending flow of money from debt and taxes, we hear screams of outrage as if they actually spent more than a fraction of all their loot on national “defense”—a phrase they have taught us to apply to many aggressions as well as national defense. As I’ve pointed out repeatedly, the Pentagon is incapable of passing a legal audit (the Department of Homeland Security has recently joined them in that “honor”). “Losing” money is a tradition now. The day before 9-11-2001, the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld announced that the Defense budget had lost $2.3 trillion. He called it “a matter of life and death,” but no one saw it that way the next day. The problem seemed to only get worse through the following years.     http://politicaloutcast.com/2015/04/more-pentagon-corruption-1-3-billion-missing/

The FBI, the Holocaust and Us
Suzanne Fields
The FBI, the Holocaust and Us

.
(jewishworldreview.com) - James B. Comey, the director of the FBI, at 6-foot-8, is the tallest man in the nObama administration. Despite his height and position, he emerged in sharp relief in the public eye only this week for a remarkable speech at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington about why he requires every new special agent and intelligence analyst to visit the museum.
.
"Naturally, I want them to learn about abuse of authority on a breathtaking scale," he said. "But I want them to confront something more painful and more dangerous: I want them to see humanity and what we are capable of."
.
Unfortunately, the message about the importance of understanding the nature of state-sponsored evil, and the way it spreads and enables men and women to surrender moral authority, was overtaken in controversy over the degree that the Poles were responsible for the deaths of Jews in the Holocaust. Some were clearly responsible, and many risked their lives to save Jews.
.
The speech, given in the Week of Remembrance, was framed to focus on something else, what the Holocaust means today, that no matter where we come from, whether liberal or conservative, Jewish, Christian or unbeliever, we all have an obligation "to refuse to let evil hold the field." Any of us might say this, but it has a different kind of importance coming from the director of the FBI. He makes the point that it was the Nazis of Germany who led Jews to the slaughter, but there were killers and accomplices among the "good people" of society, "who loved their families, took soup to a sick neighbor, went to church and gave to charity." These ordinary people believed they were doing the right thing.
.
Group mentality— a soft way of saying "the mob" — when turned against any minority paves the path to action, whether on behalf of a cult, a distorted religion, a bad government or an institution acting on behalf of a government. Mr. Comey keeps a copy of the order from a predecessor to tap the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s telephone framed on his desk "to ensure that we remember our mistakes and that we learn from them."
.
We're watching a similar evil at work in a Middle East on fire, perplexing and confusing on a grand scale. We see young people from our own country trying to join terrorists of the Islamic State, or ISIS. Careful work by Mr. Comey's FBI caught six young men of Minnesota, several still in their teens, only the other day, on their way to Islamic State territory in Iraq.
.
What are we to make of these active home growns who are so responsive to the evil that Islamists peddle? How do we explain it, and what can we do to stop it?
.
The difficulty of dealing with the radicalizing of the Muslim young in America is revealed in the controversy over attempts by the White House to "reach out" to Muslim communities with a program called Countering Violent Extremism. Some Muslims are suspicious. It is drawing ambivalent attitudes among Muslims, The Wall Street Journal reports, because they perceive the program as one to gather intelligence and to identify extremists while trying to instill pride in their native land. The U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, an umbrella group, says the program seeks only to single out Muslims for surveillance. Other Muslims defend it as enhancing social services.
.
Perhaps it's naive, and maybe too late, to rescue some of our young. Some, nevertheless, want to try. Bobby Jindal, the son of Indian immigrants who is the governor of Louisiana, urges a return to the melting pot, "assimilation by new Americans to strengthen our country, and not balkanize it." Such assimilation once led to heartfelt sentiments of pride of place, pride in government and love of country.
.
Mr. Comey, an Irish Catholic who looks at the Holocaust from the perspective of evil, thinks that after a visit to the Holocaust Museum his G-men will understand and appreciate that we live in a country where such evil cannot take root. "I want them to walk out of that great museum," he says, "treasuring the constraint and oversight of divided government, the restriction of the rule of law, the binding of a free and vibrant press. I want them to understand that all of this is necessary as a check on us, because of the way we are. We must build it, we must know it, and we must nurture it now, so that it can save us later. That is the only path to the responsible exercise of power."
.
It's a lesson the Nazis didn't get, and so far, the Islamists — and their American followers — don't get. That's scary.

Same-Sex Marriage Decision Hinges on Justice Kennedy

In the oral arguments over the Supreme Court case that may institute same-sex marriage nationwide, the Court appeared to split along its usual lines, with Justice Anthony Kennedy once again becoming the justice on which the whole decision rests. Like many, Hot Air’s Allahpunditsaw Justice Kennedy sympathetic to the arguments made by the pro-same-sex-marriage lobby. Allahpundit believes the Court will rule against traditional marriage; the only question now is by what vote. Nevertheless, some justices were cautious. For thousands of years, marriage has been defined as between a man and a woman. Then, the Netherlands changed its definition of marriage in 2001. “You’re not seeking to join the institution,” Chief Justice John Roberts said. “You’re seeking to change what the institution is.” He added, “One of the things that’s truly extraordinary about this whole issue is how quickly has been the acceptance of your position across broad elements of society.” The plaintiffs' attorneys have been practicing for months, running moot courts and rehearsing responses to Justice Antonin Scalia’s style of questioning. The goal, The New York Times reported, is not just win, but “win big.” If SCOTUS rules in their favor, then they already have. More…

National Guard, Curfew Quell Second Night of Baltimore Unrest

The rioting Monday night in Baltimore left 19 buildings and 144 vehicles burned, 20 police officers injured and 235 people arrested. But what we saw by dawn on Wednesday is that Tuesday’s violence was subdued. Two thousand National Guard members and 400 state troopers enforced a 10 p.m. city-wide curfew. Baltimore was hesitant at first to crack down on the initial stages of unrest because many of the unruly were youth, but then the violence evolved. “When we deployed our officers yesterday, we were deploying for a high school event,” Baltimore PD spokesman Capt. Eric Kowalcyzk said. “I don’t think there’s anyone that would expect us to deploy with automatic weapons and armored vehicles for 13-, 14- and 15-year olds.”

Meanwhile, about 50 protesters were demonstrating in Ferguson, Missouri, last night when a man was shot in the lower leg. While it’s not clear if the shooting is connected to the demonstrations, police threatened to use “chemical munitions” to clear the crowd. Later, a group set fire to trashcans and a portable toilet. Even after all this time, violence still lingers in the St. Louis suburb. However, Barack Obama wasn’t about to say the riots are due to a malformed relationship between cops and citizens. No, for him, the problem is Republicans. He said at a press conference yesterday, “I’m under no illusion that out of this Congress we’re going to get massive investments in urban communities … But if we really want to solve the problem, if our society really wanted to solve the problem, we could.” Leftists believe the answer to everything is more money. More…

Obama: Congress Is Just Afraid of a Little Globalization

In pushing for a free-trade agreement with countries arrayed around the Pacific Ocean, Barack Obama has managed to enter the rare political situation of gaining opponents in both Democrat and Republican parties. Democrats, led by the likes of Elizabeth Warren, bray that the Trans-Pacific Partnership will hurt the middle class. Republicans, well, they have a right to be suspicious, because the administration that “led” the U.S. economy on its slowest recovery to date wants to negotiate a trade deal that will have huge economic implications. Furthermore, Obama is seeking approval for this treaty in a simple yes-no vote, a move that speeds up the negotiation process, but one that also cheapens Congress' role in negotiating treaties. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Obama called the skeptics of the Trans-Pacific Partnership scared of a little globalization. After all, if the U.S. does nothing, then China will establish its trade agreements and earn influence over that corner of the globe. “What we can’t do, though, is withdraw,” Obama said. “There has been a confluence of anti-global engagement from both elements of the right and elements of the left that I think [is] a big mistake.” There is a reason why the Constitution grants Congress the power to approve treaties, and the argument that we’re running out of time is no excuse to trust the judgment of one man. More…

Why Is SCOTUS Even Considering Same-Sex Marriage?

By John J. Bastiat

2015-04-29-805ecffb_large.jpg

Since the very definition of marriage is up for grabs at the U.S. Supreme Court this week — SCOTUS entertained oral arguments Tuesday on a number of cases consolidated under the central issue of the un-constitutionality of states' ability to deny gay marriage — we thought this an appropriate point to interject reason into the debate, strengthened by an understanding of history — Constitutional history. Let’s start with the basics: The Constitution of the United States has nothing to say about marriage, “gay” or otherwise. What does that mean?

Well, if you know nothing about civics, it means nothing. Unfortunately, that’s the take the religiously zealous supporters of same-sex marriage are trying to foist off on the Supremes this week. Their approach, of course, doesn’t admit to this, or even begin to touch on the truly core issue — Federalism — for the same reason abortionist supporters of Roe v. Wade did not: They would otherwise lose. Let’s walk through this Matrix together, Neo.

The Constitution is the foundational legal document governing our nation. For almost 200 years it served as the backbone behind the body of laws under which the lowliest individual to the U.S. President operated. All of that changed with the Progressive Movement of the late 1800s and early 1900s, FDR’s New Deal and a host of other progressive assaults on the concept of the Rule of Law. Wiser-than-the-rest-of-us progressives rejected this idea in favor of the arrogation that some people (read: them) are better suited to rule than others (read: you), and accordingly pushed to make the Constitution a “living, breathing document” (read: changeable to suit progressives' needs). The practical upshot of this “breathing” is that Rule of Law is all but a dead letter in our nation. But we digress.

Since the progressives' constitutional onslaught, the model formerly known as “federalism” has died yet another — virtual, if not actual — death. The Constitution originally gave power to the federal government to make and enforce certain, very particular laws across the land. These so-called “enumerated” powers were so called because they were very limited in scope, though unlimited within the span of that scope. Such laws were applicable to the entirety of the United States and evolved from the previous federal power failures of the former bedrock document, the Articles of Confederation. For example, the power to regulate commerce among the states — a power itself abused over the past century by an overly-ambitious SCOTUS interpretation of the term “interstate commerce” — is specifically granted to Congress under Article I of the Constitution. Likewise, the power to enter treaties — another power very recently abused, since the current office holder ignores the prerequisite Senate consent to such power (“He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties… ”) — is specifically granted to the president under Article II.

However, the rest of governmental power is vested within the states. This structural component was codified under the Tenth Amendment, which reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

In a nutshell, the Tenth Amendment is saying if We-the-People didn’t give you-the-federal-government a particular power in the Constitution, we are keeping that plenary power for individual states to make those calls. The rationale behind this principle, as aptly annunciated in the opinion section of Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal, is that the “Founders believed that social mores should be reflected in law through the democratic process, not judicial command.” Indeed.

Unfortunately, over a century of assaults on the Tenth Amendment have withered it to a bare thread of what it once was. Were this not the case, the issue before SCOTUS wouldn’t even be here. It would be among each of the 50 states to decide for themselves. Sadly, that option was foreclosed with SCOTUS’s unreasonable shoot-down of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), whose primary focus was the assertion of individual states' rights to choose for themselves whether or not to recognize same-sex marriage. Ultimately, that means the decision of whether to recognize same-sex marriages rests not with individual states, but rather with an arbitrary and often-fickle Supreme Court.

The real issue is whether a state’s free people can decide for themselves whether they can choose one such path or another. The more the Tenth Amendment is eviscerated by the Court, the less likely they can. The Founders envisioned the states as political laboratories to experiment with governmental models. Those that worked encouraged people to move and join in the prosperity of successful models; those that didn’t encouraged people to vote with their feet. Let’s hope the Supreme Court learns its lesson from Roe v. Wade and decides the Founders' model is best. If history is any guide, however, we’re not overly optimistic.

OPINION IN BRIEF

Star Parker: “[I]f leaders in these various institutions of our nation’s left-wing elite look in the rearview mirror to their own family histories, histories of Christians and Jews arriving and settling in America, they most certainly, overwhelmingly, will find families — parents, grandparents, great-grandparents — defined by the very traditional values that their offspring today throw to the trash. Central to the propaganda being sold is the notion that embracing sexual behaviors that our religions prohibit represents progress. But in fact, these behaviors are more ancient than our religions. Our religions were the answer to these destructive behaviors. And no, this is not about freedom. Few do not believe or accept that every American should be free to live as he or she chooses. This is a battle about redefining the values of our nation’s culture and, hence, redefining our nation itself.”

SHORT CUTS

Insight: “The real freedom of any individual can always be measured by the amount of responsibility which he must assume for his own welfare and security.” —Author Robert Welch (1899-1985)

Non Compos Mentis: “I’m under no illusion that under this Congress we’re going to get massive investments in urban communities. And so we’ll try to find areas where we can make a difference around school reform, and around job training, and around some investments in infrastructure in these communities trying to attract new businesses in.” —Barack Obama, faulting Republicans for the rioting in cities like Ferguson and Baltimore

“The fact is that al-Qaida was not in Iraq prior to President Bush’s decision to commit significant American resources on the ground in that country. That is a historical fact.” —Obama spokesman Josh Earnest, shooting back at George W. Bush after he criticized his successor’s foreign policy

Dezinformatsia: “You get into Baltimore, you can’t find a job with a short commute. And that’s, to me, the problem that’s behind all of this [rioting]. … [The jobs] went to the right-to-work states … where the unions didn’t have any power. You could get people to work for nothing and the stuff wasn’t that good that was made down there.” —MSNBC’s Chris Matthews

Village Idiots: “[Baltimore] policemen and firemen have the right to work in the city and live in the suburbs. Some live as far away as … Pennsylvania. And so they come in as an occupying force, not as neighbors. So, often people are afraid of them, because they’re not taxpaying neighbors whose children go to school with their children. So there is this gap between police and people. And you really ought to have residential requirements for policemen and firemen. Those who get nectar from the flower should sow pollen where they pick up nectar.” —Jesse Jackson

And last… “Sixth-year president blames fourth-month GOP Congress for blocking agenda which would’ve aided city run by Democrats for decades. #Baltimore” —twitter satirist @hale_razor

JEB SET TO DEBUT BIGGEST CASH HAUL EVER
To put Jeb Bush’s first-quarter fundraising in perspective, if it is, as expected, well over $100 million, he may have managed a 70 percent increase over Mitt Romney’s previous quarterly record, and done it a year earlier in the cycle. This is obviously very good news for Bush. For any other candidate hoping to woo big-money donors, a sum so large will make life very difficult. Just as Marco Rubio is ascending to the stratosphere and Chris Christie is getting ready to re-launch, Bush is making it clear that he’s building a Clinton-sized mother ship to take all the big-buck GOPers into orbit. The big donors who believe big money is the key to winning elections aren’t likely to try to try to top this. And for people who give to get access, they follow fundraising leaders rather than chase them. But, on the other hand, Bush is making a big gamble.
Bush is operating in a loophole within a loophole of campaign finance law. Because he is not officially a candidate and isn’t registered with federal elections officials, he can coordinate with the network of super PACs raising and, eventually, spending unlimited sums on his behalf. Other candidates, even the still-technically undeclared Scott Walker, are bound by elections rules related to their current positions. Bush is free to raise and direct the PAC because he is doing so as a private citizen. And because Bush is pioneering a new role for his PAC, it will need all of this and money and much more. But as soon as Bush declares himself a candidate, he will have to sever ties to PAC world. Bush is raising all of this money to hand over to Mike Murphy and say “see you after Election Day.”
Sums so vast provide a lot of cushion for mistakes in judgment. Plus, with this much cash behind him, Bush can start nudging other candidates out of the race. Ideological candidates relying on small-dollar donations won’t scare off easily, others, though, may decide they’d rather not endure having a $1 billion flamethrower in their faces. But Bush is debuting his nine-figure quarter at a moment when the country is very much talking about the dangers and improprieties of funny money and politicians. Team Jeb argues that the only way to beat Clinton cash is with more cash. Perhaps, but the narrative of two rival political families exploiting loopholes to fight a nuclear war of campaign spending won’t exactly stir the hearts of the Republican (or Democratic) base.

Campaigning for Jeb, Dubya escalates anti-nObama rhetoric
Bloomberg: “In a closed-door meeting with Jewish donors Saturday night, former President George W. Bush delivered his harshest public criticisms to date against his successor on foreign policy, saying that President Barack nObama is being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal and losing the war against the Islamic State... Bush then went into a detailed criticism of nObama’s policies in fighting the Islamic State and dealing with the chaos in Iraq. On nObama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops in Iraq at the end of 2011, he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham calling it a ‘strategic blunder.’” -Fox News

Jewish GOPers up for grabs -   David Drucker writing from Vegas, baby: “Sen.Ted Cruz of Texas, who addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition on Saturday during the group's annual spring meeting at The Venetian hotel and casino, wowed the gathering and has quickly - and unexpectedly - established himself as a player for Jewish Republican support, particularly among the grassroots…But the coalition is an Establishment-oriented group.  Walker makes secret prosecutions a campaign issue -   Milwaukee Sentinel Journal: “In a swing through the crucial presidential state of Iowa this weekend, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker took the rare step of lashing out at prosecutors who had probed his campaign by questioning whether their tactics were constitutional. In an equally unusual turn, prosecutors fired back by calling Walker's comments inaccurate, offensive and defamatory - with Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm suggesting Walker could be criminally charged for lying. They said Walker should call for the release of sealed court records so the public could know more about the investigation and raids on people's homes, but Walker gave that notion little heed...His remarks on the investigation into his campaign were made as the Wisconsin Supreme Court mulls whether to let prosecutors revive their investigation.”   -Fox News

Terrorist Activity on Israel-Syria border as Iran to Arm Hizballah
(investigativeproject.org) - Tensions are rising along the Syrian-Israeli border after the Israeli Air Force (IAF) killed four terrorists who infiltrated from Syria and planted explosives in the Golan Heights, the Jerusalem Post reports...The IAF observed the terrorists planting the explosive devices clearly before ordering the strike. The Israel Defense Forces is continuing to conduct routine security missions in the area and stated that it will not "tolerate any attempt to harm or violate Israeli sovereignty." This development comes amid rising border tensions and reports of an alleged Israeli air strike against strategic Syrian military sites housing long-range missiles, intended for the terrorist organization Hizballah. http://www.investigativeproject.org/4834/terrorist-activity-on-israel-syria-border-as-iran

 Turkey's Supposed Nemesis: "The Mastermind"
(Burak Bekdil) - Turkey's biggest enemy, according to its Islamist rulers, is not the fanatical jihadists who now neighbor their country in large swathes of land in Syria and Iraq; nor is it the thousands of "sleepers" at home...the same jihadists who have not staged a sensational act of terror, but might yet. The enemy is not the political and military advance of Shiite radicals in the region, or a nuclear Iran. It is not extreme left-wing terrorists who only recently murdered a state prosecutor. It is not Russia, China or Western civilization. 1.  Undercutting our armed forces   (Lindsey R. Neas) - About 60 percent of the Army will receive training no higher than squad level — typically nine to 10 soldiers — this year. In fact, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter has said that it will be 2020 before the Army, Navy and Marines reach an acceptable level of readiness...combat preparedness of both personnel and equipment. The Air Force won’t be combat-ready until 2023. The secretary’s disclosure is bad news. The sequester cuts forced on the Pentagon by the Budget Control Act of 2011 are dramatically degrading the combat preparedness of our troops at the small-unit level — the level at which most battles are won or lost. Why is this reduction in Army training so detrimental? Individual soldier and crew skills, although important, are only the first steps in a lengthy and progressively larger training regimen at the platoon (up to 40 soldiers), company (up to 150) and battalion levels (up to 900) that historical experience has shown to be essential. Extensive training at the unit level builds proficiency, unit cohesion, trust and confidence.     http://www.aei.org/publication/undercutting-our-armed-forces/?utm_source=paramount&utm_medium=email&utm_content=AEITODAY&utm_campaign=042715

The Spirit of Jewish Conservatism
 THE SPIRIT OF JEWISH CONSERVATISM
(Eric Cohen) - Compared with the bleaker moments in Jewish history—and woefully there are many—the present age of Jewish life offers many grounds for celebration and gratitude...In America, Jews are free to build communities and educate their children, free to study and worship without fear, free to pursue the good life without discrimination or disadvantage. In Israel, Jews are sovereign: keepers of their own land, speakers of their own language, shapers of their own national destiny. In these two great centers of modern Jewish life, Jews have the dignity of liberty, and in Israel they enjoy the dignity of Jewish self-government. The old-world problems of the Jews—living in segregated conditions, burdened by humiliating legal restrictions, often impoverished and dispirited—are no longer Jewish problems on any mass scale. Most American Jews have means, and many are wealthy; the Jewish state is strong; and despite the faith-shaking trauma of the Holocaust and the faith-challenging seductions of modernity, many still believe that Jews have a unique purpose in the world.     http://mosaicmagazine.com/essay/2015/04/the-spirit-of-jewish-conservatism/

American Mom and Her Baby Are Being Held Hostage by The Taliban
(pamelageller.com) - In 2012, a 28-year-old American woman, Caitlin Coleman, was kidnapped along with her husband, Joshua Boyle, while traveling in Afghanistan. Coleman was pregnant and gave birth while in captivity. The family has been held ever since by the Taliban...Her name and that of her husband and baby should be on the lips of every American. Another story the media doesn’t report. In his continuing support for the Taliban terrorist group, nObama has refused to call them a terrorist group. They kidnap Americans and the media hardly speaks of it in deference to their dear leader. nObama’s Afghanistan strategy is to cover for his “peace partners.” For years I have reported on nObama’s sanction and support of the savage Islamic group, the Taliban. The jihadist group has long been an avowed enemy of the US, freedom, democracy and equality for all. The Taliban is why we went into Afghanistan in the wake of 9/11. They have kidnapped an American mother and baby, but you won’t read about it in the enemedia.       http://pamelageller.com/2015/04/an-american-mom-and-her-baby-are-being-held-hostage-by-obamas-partners-the-taliban.html/

Sens. Enzi and Risch
 Congress's Bipartisan nObamacare Fraud
(Phil Kerpen) - One of the most outrageous but least reported ongoing scandals in Washington is that the House and Senate have both falsely certified themselves as small businesses in order to fund health insurance for themselves and their staff with taxpayer dollars, sidestepping provisions of nObamacare...Senator David Vitter (La.) recently tried to subpoena the documents in which the false declarations were made, but he ran into strong bipartisan opposition. Perhaps most shockingly, Senator Rand Paul – who is campaigning for president on a promise to “defeat the Washington machine” – voted to keep this ultimate Washington insider scam secret. But unlike all of the other Americans in that situation, Congress had access to President nObama to personally intervene on their behalf. And he did, with an Office of Personnel Management rule allowing them to have taxpayers continue picking up most of the costs of their premiums. It gets worse. Because there is no mechanism for employer contributions in the individual exchange, Congress also filed false documents claiming the House and Senate each have less than 50 employees to qualify as “small businesses,” even though over 13,700 employees have in fact signed up.  That's fraud.     https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2015/04/congresss-bipartisan-obamacare-fraud

Clinton Uranium Deal Looks Dirtier Than Michael Moore
(Michael R. Caputo) - In 1999-2000, I ran public relations for Renaissance Capital, the Russian investment bank that paid Bill Clinton $500,000 to speak in June 2010...Soon after, his wife became a decision maker on Russia's acquisition of a company controlling American uranium. Even when I worked there, Renaissance Capital had close ties to the Kremlin - the relationship made Renaissance executives into oligarchs. By 2010, the firm had become a practical arm of Vladimir Putin. Nobody of sound mind would think otherwise. Mrs. Clinton certainly had the power to veto the Kremlin's purchase of our uranium assets, and didn't. But here's an unspoken truth: Who in the CFIUS arena would dare stand against the Clintons? Nobody in nObamaworld. The New York Times details millions more funnelled to the Clinton Foundation from a variety of people who got rich off the UraniumOne sale. The White House hasn't even said a word about these foreign donations which went unreported in brazen violation of the president's policy. Will they ever? Bibi better have the cojones to take on a White House proudly abandoning Israel
Caroline B. Glick

(jewishworldreview.com) - In testimony last week before the House committee in charge of State Department funding, US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power acknowledged that the nObama administration intends to abandon the US's 50 year policy of supporting Israel at the United Nations.
After going through the tired motions of pledging support for Israel, "when it matters," Power refused to rule out the possibility that the US would support anti-Israel resolutions in the UN Security Council to limit Israeli sovereignty and control to the lands within the 1949 armistice lines — lines that are indefensible.

Such a move will be taken, she indicated, in order to midwife the establishment of a terrorist-supporting Palestinian state whose supposedly moderate leadership does not recognize Israel's right to exist, calls daily for its destruction, and uses the UN to delegitimize the Jewish state.

In other words, the nObama administration intends to pin Israel into indefensible borders while establishing a state committed to its destruction.

In about a week, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's new government will be sworn in. The new government will have no grace period before it will be called upon to forge and implement policies to lead Israel through perhaps the most trying time in its history.

Clearly, developing the means to cope with our deteriorating relations with the US is one of the most urgent issues on the agenda. But it is not the only issue requiring the attention of our leaders.

Israel must quickly determine clear strategies for contending with the consequence of US's strategic shift away from its allies, Iran's nuclear project. It must also determine the principles that will guide its moves in contending with the regional instability engulfing or threatening to engulf our Arab neighbors.

As tempting as it may be to believe that all we need to do is wait out nObama, the fact is that we have no way of knowing how the US will behave once he has left office.

The Democratic Party has become far more radical under nObama's leadership than it was before he came into office. Hilly Clinton may very well become the next president, particularly if Jeb Bush is the Republican nominee. And she has evinced no significant interest in moving the party back to the center.

As secretary of state during nObama's first term in office, Clinton was a full partner in his foreign policy.

Although she appears less ideologically driven than nObama, there are many indications that her basic world view is the same as his.

Moreover, the world has changed since 2009. The Middle East is far more volatile and lethal. The US military is far less capable than it was before nObama slashed its budgets, removed its most successful commanders and subjected its troops to morale-destroying mantras of diversity and apologetics for Islamic terrorism.

In light of these changed circumstances, there are in essence two major principles that should guide our leaders today. First, we need to reduce our strategic dependence on the US. Second, we need to expand our policy of openly and unapologetically making the case for our positions to the American public.

On the first score, the need to limit our dependence on US security guarantees became painfully obvious during Operation Protective Edge last summer.

nObama's interference in military-to-military cooperation between the Defense Ministry and the Pentagon, and his decision to implement an unofficial arms embargo on Israel in the middle of a war, was a shocking rebuke to the powerful voices inside the IDF General Staff and in policy circles that Israel can and must continue to trust the US to back it up in crises.

Our need to limit our dependence on the US to the greatest practicable degree will have consequences on everything from our domestic military production and development industries to intelligence and operational cooperation with the US and other governments.

It is imperative as well that we develop a plan to wean ourselves off of US military aid within the next three-five years.

Netanyahu's critics continue to attack him for his decision to abandon the longstanding policy of settling disputes with the US administration through quiet diplomacy. They blame Netanyahu's decision to publicly air Israel's opposition to nObama's nuclear diplomacy for the crisis in relations. But they are confusing cause and effect. Netanyahu had no choice.

nObama has made clear through both word and deed that he is completely committed to a policy of reaching a détente with Iran by enabling Iran to join the nuclear club. He will not voluntarily abandon this policy, which his closest aides have acknowledged is the signature policy of his second term.

Under these circumstances, it has long been clear that quiet diplomacy gets Israel nowhere. Open confrontation with the administration is the only way that Israel can hope to limit the damage the administration's policies can cause. By publicly laying out its positions on issues in dispute, Israel can provide administration critics with legitimacy and maneuver room in their own critiques of nObama's policies.

The public debate in the US regarding nObama's policy of appeasing Iran was transformed by Netanyahu's speech before the joint houses of Congress last month.

Before he came to town, most of the voices in the US warning against nObama's nuclear diplomacy were dismissed as alarmist. Netanyahu's speech changed the discourse in the US in a fundamental way.
Today, nObama's nuclear deal with Iran is highly controversial and unpopular.

And this brings us to the second burning issue the next government will need to contend with immediately upon entering office: Iran.

Since word of Iran's nuclear weapons program got out more than a decade ago, Israel has operated under the assumption that a sufficient number of members of the policy community in Washington were committed to a policy of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons to make the abandonment of that policy politically impossible. Netanyahu's strategy for dealing with Iran's nuclear program has centered on convincing those policy-makers to take action, whether through sanctions on Iran or through other means that would make it impossible for nObama to conclude a deal with Iran that would give the nuclear program an American seal of approval.

In recent weeks, we have seen the collapse of that assumption. The Senate's feckless handling of nObama's nuclear accommodation of the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism exposed Israel's operating assumption as overly optimistic. So the policy must be updated.
An updated policy must be based on two understandings.
First, the US will not stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Second, due to nObama's commitment to nuclear accommodation of Iran, at this point unless Iran's nuclear installations are destroyed through military force, it will become a nuclear power. Israel's survival will be compromised and a nuclear arms race throughout the region will ensue.

Given this reality, Israel's public diplomacy should no longer be viewed as a means to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power. Rather, Israel should view it as a means to empower American lawmakers and others to stand with Israel in the event that it carries out military strikes against Iran's nuclear weapons.

Open support for Israel by the US public and by politicians and media organs will make it more difficult for the administration to harm Israel in retribution for such action.

As for the strike itself, both the operational and diplomatic aspects of a military action must be calculated to make the most of the changing regional dynamics.

Last summer, in fighting Hamas in Gaza, Israel found itself acting in alliance with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates against Hamas, Qatar, Turkey and the US. The Arab states served as Israel's blocking backs. They enabled Israel to withstand massive pressure from the administration that sought to coerce Israel into ending the fighting on Hamas's terms.

In recent weeks, the media in Egypt and Saudi Arabia have expressed support for an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear installations. This support will be helpful in the aftermath of any such strike as well, and will again make it difficult for nObama to take revenge on Israel. Moreover, Israel must capitalize on these states' opposition to Iran's nuclear weapons program in order to convince them to provide operational support for Israeli forces attacking Iran.

This of course brings us to the third major issue on the next government's agenda: formulating principles to govern our relations with the Arab world.

     One thing is obvious. Th
e goal that informed all previous governments in the past — that Israel's top goal should be to sign peace deals with our neighbors — is irrelevant.

Our neighbors are all engulfed in wars or crises spurred by domestic opponents. These opponents have embraced al-Qaida and Islamic State and consequently, their domestic disputes with their leaders have been transformed into existential struggles between Islamic totalitarianism and regular authoritarianism.

Israel's policy to date for handling these affairs has been to support the Egyptian military government and the Jordanians and to prevent Iranian proxies in Syria from directly attacking Israel. This policy is correct and should remain in place. But Israel also needs to adopt policies that will enable it to protect itself in the absence of friendly regimes in Amman and Cairo.

To this end, Israel must stabilize the situation with the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria. Israel must ensure that it has complete military control over these areas to prevent a spillover from Syria and to withstand the effect of a potential rise of jihadist forces in Jordan. As for Gaza, Israel must stop viewing Gaza, which behaves as a separate body politic from Judea and Samaria, as related to Judea and Samaria.

Gaza is a base for the global jihad and is a threat to Israel and Egypt alike. It has to be understood and treated as such.

In short, under the current circumstances, just as the notion of sitting down and signing a peace deal with Syria or Saudi Arabia is absurd, so the notion of reaching a peace deal with the Palestinians is a throwback to an entirely different time. Today the only way to keep the Palestinians of Judea and Samaria separated from the chaos and jihad in neighboring states is to make them part of Israel. As a preparatory step toward that goal, the next government must act to more fully integrate Arab Israelis into Israeli society.

To this end, Netanyahu would do well to appoint a Muslim Arab minister to his government charged with integrating the Arabs more fully into Israeli society.

The world has changed since 2009. America has changed. The Middle East has changed. Israel faces an array of challenges and threats it has never faced before. The next government must understand the dynamics of the situation and quickly forge policies based on the world as it is, not as it was or as we would like for it to be.

Freddie Gray is the EXCUSE, Not the REASON

By Craig Andresen – The National Patriot and Right Side Patriots on cprworldwidemedia.net

gray-2.jpg?width=229Congratulations Baltimore…

Your Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has not only ALLOWED the city to be turned into a war zone…she SANCTIONED it.

Just a couple of days ago, during a press conference regarding the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody…Rawlings’Blake said…

“It was a very delicate balancing act because while we tried to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on – um – we also gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that, as well.”

Of course her office is now trying to backtrack that statement claiming what she MEANT to say was that they INADVERTENTLY gave those wishing to destroy, space to do that as well but that CLEARLY is NOT what she said and the walk back came only AFTER the BLOWBACK came her way regarding the original statement.

Protesters always have the right to protest but…street thugs are always hell bent on destruction of other people’s property and there is no right that covers that. Each and every one of them should have been arrested and held accountable for the damage and loss of property they inflicted but…Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake not only turned a blind eye toward the thugs…

The evidence is incontrovertible... man's inhumanity to man is without mitigation an eternal curse.  Man is by his own nature lost and most reprehensible... turning against his own, he would shackle every other being to his own purposes. History is a saga of abuse and misuse of mankind's gifts...

I find no redemption or goodness within the human race... and if left to its own devices it will sooner destroy itself than to find a path to peace.  The whole world travails under the hand of mankind and as we advance in knowledge we become more potent and dangerous.  Soon, the anvil of evil will be used to forge even greater calamity among humanity.... as biological and chemical warfare are seen as acceptable alternatives to nuclear annihilation.

The Atheist looks for redemption within his own soul... for the resolution of man's inhumanity within man.  However, it is the very nature of mankind that is at war with himself ... and there is no vent or relief too be found within his own being.  Look at history, it is a tale of terror and decay... of ever increasing inhumanity toward our own kind.  Too, believe or have faith, in man as the solution too his own problems is to deny his being and history.

The path of Atheism leads to annihilation...   The proof of my words can be found written in the blood of man... poured out on the fields of conflict since Kane murdered Able.  The evidence of the unregenerate man and his inhumane nature is all around us.... the chaos in the world of man is evident to those with an eye to see.

When left to his own devices mankind historically strikes out in conquest of his neighbor... he needs to be restrained by force or by the Spirit of God... thru the renewing of his mind to the Love of God and those of HIS KIND.... the believer.  Where Christ reigns supreme in the heart of a people peace and order follow... where atheists and other false beliefs are practiced we find disorder and strife... proving that the Word of God indeed brings peace when practiced and held in faith by a majority of a cultures people.

nObama Joked at Nerd Prom While Baltimore Rioted
Once again, Hollywood celebrities and DC politicians gathered in Washington Saturday for the White House Correspondents' Dinner — AKA nerd prom. It's an opportunity for Nancy Pulosi to rub shoulders with the likes of Jane Fonda and for Barack nObama to further his agenda and take down political opponents by dishing out punch lines. This year, the dinner only showed how out of touch the two institutions are with the rest of the nation, because while attendees were slurping down Foraged Wild Mushroom Ragout and Seared Alaskan Halibut protests became violent in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray, who died because of injuries he received while in police custody.
While the baseball game at Baltimore's Camden Yards went into lockdown because of protests outside, three big television networks — CNN, MSNBC and CSPAN — kept their cameras trained on the White House Correspondents' Dinner because nObama was going to start his jokes soon. Never mind that the latest chapter in the debate over modern day policing was being punctuated by vandalized police cars and smashed storefronts an hour away.
nObama was once again selling the tired issue of "climate change," trying to make it matter to everyday Americans. "I am determined to make the most of every moment I have left," nObama said. "After the midterm elections, my advisors asked me, 'Mr. President, do you have a bucket list?' And I said, 'Well, I have something that rhymes with bucket list.' Take executive action on immigration? Bucket. New climate regulations? Bucket. It's the right thing to do." But as executive editor of the Washington Free Beacon Sonny Bunch pointed out in a piece titled "This Is Why They Hate Us," no one except those inside the Beltway cares about nerd prom.  -The Patriot Post

Clinton Foundation Refiles Taxes as Media Grows Suspicious
On Sunday, the Clinton Foundation admitted it did not properly disclose which foreign governments donated to the organization while Hilly Clinton served as secretary of state. As a result, it is refiling taxes because of the "mistakes." Acting CEO of the nonprofit Maura Pally issued a statement, saying, "So yes, we made mistakes, as many organizations of our size do, but we are acting quickly to remedy them, and have taken steps to ensure they don't happen in the future." This comes as liberal media organizations become increasingly suspicious of Clinton because of reports she favored foreign bureaucrats and oligarchs who donated to the Clinton Foundation during her time as madam secretary. This admission of fault from the Clinton Foundation is a way of damage control. If they own up to it and appear to fix the problem, then maybe they can move past the nasty headlines. But as the talking heads at The New York Times editorial board, ABC's "World News Tonight," MSNBC's "Morning Joe," and CNN all said last week: These allegations are not about to go away. More...   -The Patriot Post

Study Finds Significant Economic Effects of Immigration Surge
A new study from the Congressional Research Service discovered an interesting interrelation between depressed middle class incomes and increased immigration. The Washington Examiner reports that in 1945 the foreign-born population of the United States stood at 10,971,146, but by 1970 it slid to 9,740,000 for a net loss of 1,231,146 foreigners. At the same time, says the CRS, "The reported income of the bottom 90% of tax filers in the United States increased from an average of $18,418 in 1945 to $33,621 in 1970 for an aggregate change of $15,202 or a percent increase of 82.5% over this 25 year period." In contrast, from 1970 to 2013, the foreign-born population blossomed from 9,740,000 to 41,348,066, a 324.5% increase. However, "The reported income of the bottom 90% of tax filers in the United States decreased from an average of $33,621 in 1970 to $30,980 in 2013 for an aggregate decline of $2,641 or a percent decline of 7.9% over this 43 year period." There's no question high-skilled emigrants who go through the system legally contribute positive economic effects. The issue is that our basically open borders has allowed the population of unskilled illegal immigrants to swell, which undoubtedly strangles the overall economy. Border security must be Congress' top priority to fix the overarching issues affecting America's middle class.  -The Patriot Post

The Wisconsin Left Tried to Criminalize Free Speech
Anyone still wondering how low the American Left will sink in pursuit of its agenda should turn their gaze toward Wisconsin. In a blatant attempt at political intimidation masquerading itself as legitimate investigation, police conducted a series of early morning raids at the homes of several Wisconsin conservatives. Dozens of armed officers showed up for pre-dawn raids with battering rams, swarming into houses and threatening the people inside with arrest if they didn’t cooperate, even as they seized personal property. And on the way out, the invaders gave every person they encountered the same warning: Don’t call your lawyer, and don’t tell anyone about what happened, because a gag order is in place.
How is it that people can be forced to remain silent even as police conducted large, noisy raids more suitable to taking down a drug kingpin right in front of their neighbors? Because law enforcement officials in Wisconsin are allowed to conduct John Doe investigations, defined as "an independent, investigatory tool to ascertain whether a crime has been committed and if so, by whom.” And unlike other investigations that require probable cause to pursue, John Doe investigations are conducted to establish the existence of probable cause itself.
Under the rubric of looking for campaign-finance violations, the investigations were initiated by Milwaukee district attorney John Chisholm, a partisan Democrat — whose wife is a teachers’ union shop steward — and a man determined to find anything that could undermine the political career of rising Republican star Gov. Scott Walker. Walker has thwarted Wisconsin leftists at every turn, winning three elections, including a recall effort, in just four years.  -The Patriot Post

Clinton Cash Author Not Backing Down
(rickwells.us) - Longtime Democrat Party operative and Clinton insider George Stephanopoulos interviewed Peter Schweizer, author of the book, “Clinton Cash,”...which has inflicted exposed some serious questions about the honesty and viability of the presumed frontrunner for the Democrat presidential nomination. Schweizer is asked how his reporting indicates that Clinton is unfit for the presidency. He points to a question of the appropriateness of the flow of funds to the intertwined mess that is the Clinton personal, political interests and how they interact with contributions to their foundation. He points to a pattern of favorable decision making to individuals who have funneledmoney in the direction of the Clintons, that the “dozens of examples” of that having occurred point beyond a coincidence and towards a trend.     http://www.rickwells.us/clinton-cash-author-not-backing-down-in-spite-of-partisan-interviewers-attempts-to-discredit/

Enemy Mexican Govt Attacking Border Patrol Agents
(rickwells.us) - Citizens of our enemy to the south, the invading civilian army of the parasitic sub-nation of Mexico, were indisputably at fault in a boating accident on the Rio Grande River on April 19th...A private boat cut in front of a Border Patrol vessel, causing a collision which ejected two agents into the water and reportedly also injured a child on the Mexican boat. As rescue efforts were underway and with the agents trying to make their way to land, Mexicans on shore reportedly began to throw large rocks at the injured agents as well as DPS officers attempting to assist them. In the process less than lethal force was used by DPS in self-defense and in defense of their fellow law enforcement officers. It’s not bad enough that our own government is facilitating an invasion of our country by our enemy to the south. Their partner in treason, the criminal organization known as the “Mexican government,” has since come out with a letter condemning the faultless American agents involved. The fact that they were themselves innocent victims of both the reckless ignorance of the Mexicans as well as their total disregard for American sovereignty and our laws apparently is of no significance to either government on either side of the border.     http://www.rickwells.us/enemy-mexican-govt-attacking-border-patrol-agents-who-were-innocent-victims-of-reckless-invaders/

After 6+ Years, W Finally Unloads on nObama
(nicedeb.wordpress.com) - It’s interesting that he would come out now to criticize nObama. One wonders what finally set him off, or if this is political posturing for his brother...After reportedly expressing his distaste for re-entering the political fray, Bush started blasting nObama on Iran: Bush said that nObama’s plan to lift sanctions on Iran with a promise that they could snap back in place at any time was not plausible. He also said the deal would be bad for American national security in the long term: “You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.” Bush then went into a detailed criticism of nObama’s policies in fighting the Islamic State and dealing with the chaos in Iraq. On nObama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops in Iraq at the end of 2011, he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham calling it a “strategic blunder.” Bush signed an agreement with the Iraqi government to withdraw those troops, but the idea had been to negotiate a new status of forces agreement to keep U.S. forces there past 2011. The nObama administration tried and failed to negotiate such an agreement.     https://nicedeb.wordpress.com/2015/04/26/after-6-years-w-finally-unloads-on-obama/

Breitbart.com Shocker: Democrats Control the Senate
(Mark Horne) - The votes don’t lie; despite the Republican victory the Democrats control the Senate. So who does Mitch McCon-nell work for?...This is one of the most profound pieces of news analysis I have seen on exactly what the massive Republican victory has meant for the Senate. What did you win by voting for Republicans? The most important of these, of course, was the confirmation of Loretta Lynch. When he was running for re-election, Mitch McCon-nell promised that no Attorney General would be confirmed who agreed with Barack nObama’s executive amnesty. Now that he is not running for re-election for several years, he led some Republicans and all Democrats in voting for her confirmation. Or rather, dinky Harry Reid and the few remaining Democrats led McCon-nell and a large number of Republicans to confirm Lynch.     http://politicaloutcast.com/2015/04/breitbart-com-shocker-democrats-control-the-senate/

Saudi Arabia Lies, Rents U.S. Military to Help Kill Yemenis
(Doug Bandow) - After killing hundreds of Yemenis, including many civilians, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that it was halting its bombing campaign. Then Riyadh restarted bombing the next day...The nObama administration is part pf Saudi Arabia’s ten-member “coalition” against Houthi rebels in Yemen. Said Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry:  “we’re not going to step away from our alliances and our friendships.” Alas, the entire campaign is built on a lie. Contrary to Riyadh’s claims, the Houthis are not directed by, and seem only barely supported by, Iran. Even British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond admitted that “the Houthis are clearly not Iranian proxies.” Instead, the rebels have been fighting for years. America’s then-ally, President Ali Abdullah Saleh battled the Houthis a decade ago.     http://www.conservativehq.com/node/20173

Clinton Foundation Put On Charity ‘Watch List’
(gopthedailydose.com) - The Clinton Foundation has joined Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network on a list of naughty nonprofits maintained by Charity Navigator, a prominent charity monitor...The Clinton Foundation was put on Charity Navigator’s “watch list” last month, The New York Post reported on Sunday. The foundation has come under intense scrutiny of late amid revelations it received millions of dollars in donations from foreign governments while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state. Money also flowed to the foundation from companies and businessmen who benefited from their relationship to the Clintons.     http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/04/26/clinton-foundation-put-on-charity-watch-list-along-with-al-sharptons-shady-nonprofit/

Hillary on the brink of collapse
Hilly on the brink of collapse
(Michael Goodwin) - A passage from Ernest  Hemingway fits the moment. In “The Sun Also  Rises,” one character asks,  “How did you go bankrupt?” and another responds: “Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”...The exchange captures Hilly Clinton’s red alert. She’s been going politically bankrupt for a long time, and now faces the prospect of sudden collapse. If she’s got a winning defense, she’d better be quick about it. The ghosts of scandals past are gaining on her and time is not on her side. The compelling claims that she and Bill Clinton sold favors while she was secretary of state for tens of millions of dollars for themselves and their foundation don’t need to meet the legal standard for bribery. She’s on political trial in a country where Clinton Fatigue alone could be a fatal verdict. http://nypost.com/2015/04/25/hillary-on-the-brink-of-collapse/

Islamic State captures dam, overruns base in western Iraq
(Bill Roggio & Caleb Weiss) - The Islamic State seized control of a dam and overran a military barracks in the Thar Thar area in western Iraq over the past several days. Over 120 Iraqi soldiers and a senior general were killed during the Islamic State offensive...In a video released by ‘Amaq News, the Islamic State’s unofficial news agency, the jihadist group claimed to have taken control of the Thar Thar dam, which is located northeast of Fallujah in Anbar province. Islamic State fighters attacked the complex with “explosive-laden vehicles,” or suicide car bombs, before engaging with Iraqi troops in a firefight, Reuters noted. Also, the jihadist group was able to take over a nearby military barracks. The Islamic State video supports the news report. In the video, several fighters can be seen inside the dam complex showcasing different areas. The video shows fighters in control of a security checkpoint before the video switches to the military barracks. Several Humvees are seen to have been abandoned, while the Islamic State’s flag flies on a radio tower above. After looking at the video, it sure doesn't look wealth it. http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2015/04/islamic-state-captures-dam-overruns-base-in-western-iraq.php?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LongWarJournalSiteWide+%28The+Long+War+Journal+%28Site-Wide%29%29

Media’s Ongoing Attempts to Downplay VA Scandal
(Roger Aronoff) - While some in the media have demonstrated they are willing to challenge the narrative emerging from the nObama administration that downplays ongoing abuses by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)...others on the far left such as MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow have cast the administration’s chronic disservice to ailing veterans as a vast right-wing targeting conspiracy. VA Secretary Bob McDonald recently aided Maddow’s agenda by claiming during his appearance on her show that the VA was becoming “transparent” and desires “sunshine.” “It’s hunting season at the VA,” VA Secretary Bob McDonald told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on April 24, announcing a special medical advisory group to fix the VA’s problems. “Nobody wants to talk about the good things. We’re the largest medical system in the country, so when something goes wrong, it becomes news.” More than a few “somethings” are going wrong at the VA if the ongoing scandals in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix and Tomah, Wisconsin are any indication. Yet, as I noted in a previous column, when President nObama recently traveled to Phoenix, Arizona he asserted that “there were deficits with the way the VA is being run” but then called this a “case of bad apples and systems run awry.”       http://www.aim.org/aim-column/medias-ongoing-attempts-to-downplay-va-scandal/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email042715&utm_medium=email

How Western Corruption Helps Fuel Radical Islam
(Michael Widlanski) - The Clintons made millions of dollars from private firms and governments when Mrs. Clinton was still in office as Secretary of State (and presumed to be on the road to being president.)...In 2011 alone, Bill Clinton earned more than $13 million dollars in lecture fees. Foreign government gave millions more in foundation donations. Bill Clinton expected to collect a huge lecture fee (later a donation) for speaking at a birthday celebration for then-Israeli President Shimon Peres, who himself now collects $360,000 a year for advising an Israeli bank: Bank HaPoalim. Bill Clinton may be a good speaker and Shimon Peres may have accrued much experience in his long lifetime, but is there something else going on here?     http://www.aim.org/guest-column/how-western-corruption-helps-fuel-radical-islam/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email042715&utm_medium=email

SleazeBob Menendez’s
36DD Visa Program
MICHELLE MALKIN
menendez-36DD
(freedomsback.com) - America has an alphabet soup of visa programs for foreigners to choose from: B-1 for business visitors, B-2 for tourists, EB-5 for investors, F-1 for students, and so on. All are overwhelmed, loosely monitored and riddled with fraud and corruption. According to the recently unsealed federal indictment against him, sleazy Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., took it upon himself to add his own very special, crooked path to the U.S.

Call it the 36DD Visa.

The New York Post recounted this weekend how Menendez and his staff pressured the State Department to expedite the foreign tourist and student visa approval processes for a bevy of buxom foreign beauties. One of them, Brazilian actress and nudie model Juliana Lopes Leite (a.k.a. “Girlfriend 1″), had her F-1 student visa application moved to the top of the Mount Everest-high heap in 2008 as a favor to Menendez’s now-indicted donor pal and accused Medicare fraudster Salomon Melgen.

A senior Menendez staffer emailed a State Department staffer that Girlfriend 1 “has her visa application appointment in Brasilia, Brazil, tomorrow. … Sen. Menendez would like to advocate unconditionally for Dr. Melgen and encourage careful consideration of (Girlfriend 1)’s visa application.”

Oba! “The State Department responded within hours, and the woman got her visa the following day,” the Post reported. Sugar daddy Melgen set up a shady nonprofit to help fund Lopes Leite’s education, according to the indictment. The IRS-approved “foundation” for “helping with the educational needs of disadvantaged persons” also subsidized college costs for a second woman “romantically linked to Menendez.”

Here’s my question: Menendez played visa-fixer in 2008. Lopes Leite graduated with a law degree from the University of Miami in 2010, but spent most of her time jet-setting around the world with Melgen. According to the Post, she is still here and now practicing law in Miami — seven years after obtaining her 36DD visa. Why and how is she still here?

The F-1 is supposed to be a temporary visa. Applicants have to prove to consular officials that they plan to go back home after their studies as a condition of getting into our country and availing themselves of our educational system. The deal was that they’d gain a positive attitude about the U.S. and serve as ambassadors of our values and principles when they returned to their native lands. Aside from the extreme abuse and corruption involved in the Menendez scheme, this case spotlights the wider everyday systemic failures to enforce the original intent and rules of the program.

Nearly 500,000 F-1 foreign students come to the U.S. every year. Despite repeated warning flags involving foreign students on F-1 visas who slipped through the cracks — the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the 9/11 plot, the Times Square bombing plot, the Boston Marathon bombing — Washington refuses to hit the pause button and get the program under control. By the federal government’s own admission in multiple independent audits and inspector general reports, officials at the Departments of Homeland Security and State cannot efficiently police and monitor the flood.

Those assessments show that we have failed to carefully vet the student applicants overseas; failed to screen out the fly-by-night “schools” certified to enroll them in the U.S.; failed to keep tabs on the “designated school officials” entrusted to track their compliance; failed to verify that the employers who are approved to sponsor F-1s for education-related “job training” are not exploiting the program as a pipeline for cheap foreign labor undercutting American workers; failed to ensure that F-1s go home when their visas expire; and failed to track and eject overstayers and violators who break the rules.

Under federal corruption law, it is a crime to trade “things of value” with politicians to influence official acts or commit fraud. Yet, for decades, America has recklessly traded away one of its most precious “things of value”: entry into this country. It’s clear what Menendez and Melgen got out of F-1. But what about the rest of the country? Each and every temporary visa program is supposed to enhance the national interest — not just the naked demands and desires of universities, corporations and dirty old men.

Instead of stemming the tide and making enforcement a priority, politicians in both parties are pushing forward with various schemes to radically expand and extend the foreign student visa racket. It’s proof positive that Brazil’s got nothing on the biggest boobs in Washington.

Foreign money pouring into Islamic institutions in Canada to promote jihad

“A lot of these funds, I think, are directed to religious institutions or quasi-religious institutions. Bosnia: Muslim screaming “Allahu akbar” opens fire at police station, killing one officer

Lynch Officially Takes Up Holder’s Torch

On Monday, new Attorney General Loretta Lynch was sworn in, formally taking over for the contemptuous Eric Holder. And to say she entered the position amid chaos is an understatement. Gangs throughout Baltimore continued to wreak violence and havoc, injuring police officers and destroying property in protest over the death of Freddie Gray, the circumstances of which are still unknown. In response, one of Lynch’s first acts on the job was to send in the troops. “The Department of Justice will send two officials to Baltimore amid clashes in the city between police and citizens,” The Hill reports. We wish we could say she will be an improvement over her predecessor, but all evidence suggests she will continue the Holder legacy. Joe Biden illuminated this concern at Monday’s swearing-in ceremony when he said, “[Lynch] is a woman who is incredibly qualified, just like Eric Holder, who I’ve known and has been my close friend for years and years and years, over 30 years.” He added, “He might be one of the finest attorney generals [sic] we have had. He has been in this environment of such political hostility. He has stood his ground on principle. He has never yielded. And he has been right.” If he was one of the finest attorneys general in American history, why are sights like Ferguson and Baltimore seemingly becoming the norm? Lynch has a lot of work to do — but at least she’d be hard pressed to make things worse.

Arguments Begin in Contentious Same-Sex Marriage Case

Today is a big day for the Supreme Court as the debate over same-sex “marriage” takes center stage. Two and half hours of oral arguments will be presented to the justices, whose decision on America’s biggest social controversy since Roe v. Wade will have monumental implications. And just like Roe v. Wade, as Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins points out, the government meddling in what should be an issue left to the states isn’t going to end the debate. Forty-two years after that dreadful ruling, America has come no closer to unanimously accepting abortion, and the same fate awaits the gay marriage dispute. Speaking on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Perkins explained, “The courts are decided to interpret the Constitution and the constitutionality of laws, not create public policy.” And as Jennifer Marshall of The Daily Signalreports, some 50 million Americans have voted in support of traditional marriage — only to have the courts silence the majority of them. “Only 11 states have redefined marriage democratically,” writes Marshall. “In the 37 states that currently recognize same-sex marriage, 26 have been forced to do so by courts.” Today, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee and Ohio will defend their bans on same-sex marriage against 16 plaintiffs, and a decision will be announced before the Court adjourns in June. The Tenth Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The right ruling rests in those 28 words. More…

Russian Hackers Read Obama’s Emails

Regarding the security breach of the White House’s computer network, it might be easier to ask what the hackers didn’t gain access to. In the early part of April, news broke that a group of hackers — probably with some link to the Russian government — compromised the White House email system and accessed Barack Obama’s full schedule. But the White House has remained mum on how deeply the hackers penetrated. According to The New York Times, the hackers were reading some of Obama’s unclassified email messages, the ones where he drafted upcoming speeches, worked out upcoming policy, complained about Congress, talked about staffing changes and, yes, even described his golf game. The Times says Obama’s account itself was not compromised, nor was the classified email system the White House uses. As Noah Rothman writes at Hot Air, “This administration has a problem with information security, and it’s becoming clear that their carelessness is a threat to American national security.” When Obama declared his administration was the most transparent in history, none of us thought he was talking about the Russians. More…

FEATURED RIGHT ANALYSIS

Baltimore Mishandled Seeds of Unrest

By Lewis Morris

2015-04-28-a5661aa7_large.jpg

The city of Baltimore is reeling after a savage night of rioting downtown that led to the burning of stores, looting and violent confrontations with police officers. The violence erupted in the hours leading up to and following Monday’s funeral of Freddie Gray, who died several days after suffering a spinal cord injury while in police custody. Facts are still hazy about Gray’s arrest and injury and just how an initially peaceful demonstration devolved so quickly into full-scale rioting.

Republican Gov. Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency late yesterday and called out the National Guard to assist overwhelmed city law enforcement. “The National Guard represents the last resort in restoring order,” Hogan told reporters. “I have not made this decision lightly.”

Up to 5,000 soldiers could eventually be deployed. There are already at least 100 Maryland State Police officers already in the city, as well as municipal police from surrounding towns and counties. Close to two-dozen Baltimore police officers have sustained injuries in close-quarter confrontations with rioters who assaulted them with rocks, bottles and other objects.

Schools are closed today in Baltimore, and last night’s Orioles game was postponed, with baseball commissioner Rob Manfred suggesting the matchup between the Orioles and Chicago White Sox could be played elsewhere.

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake ordered a week-long 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew, calling out the rioters as “thugs who only want to incite violence and destroy our city.”

This is a much more decisive Rawlings-Blake than just two days ago, when she said during a press conference in the early hours of unrest over the weekend that “we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well. And we worked very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”

Rawlings-Blake’s words were quickly clarified by her office in a follow-up statement that said, in part, “There was an effort to give the peaceful demonstrators room to conduct their peaceful protests on Saturday. Unfortunately … that also meant that those seeking to incite violence also had the space to operate.”

In some cases, it is prudent for law enforcement to back off to prevent further confrontation, and it seems the Baltimore Police Department did so at least a few times yesterday. But to come right out and say it, telling rioters and looters what the police will do? That’s absurd!

Whatever Rawlings-Blake meant to say, the opportunity to de-escalate the situation has clearly passed. The scope of the rioting and looting quickly overwhelmed the police, and it is not clear at this point just what their strategy was in the early hours of the mayhem. Sporadic acts of violence over the weekend spread into full-scale chaos Monday afternoon after a number of youths, fresh out of school, joined those already engaged in unlawful activity.

According to a notice by the Baltimore Police Department, there is a credible threat that the Black Guerilla Family, Bloods, Crips and other gangs entered into an agreement to attack police and coordinate looting. Furthermore, some of Baltimore’s outlaw elements may want to take the violence outside the city, targeting white police officers. The West Virginia Intelligence Fusion Center released a memo warning police officers that they might be the target of gang violence. Remember: The man who killed New York City Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos earlier this year was associated with the Black Guerilla Family gang in Baltimore.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) suggested that the violence was actually perpetrated by out-of-towners. “[A]t the end there were a few people who said, ‘We’re gonna turn this city down [sic], we’re gonna close it down,’ and the next thing you know we had a few people mainly from out of town … start beating up on police cars and throwing all kinds of projectiles.” It may just be that Cummings doesn’t want to admit the fact that Baltimore has a criminal element capable of fomenting such chaos.

Rev. Al Sharpton, never one to miss a race-baiting opportunity, pledged to visit Baltimore to reach out to local church leaders who have been gathering with community leaders to find ways to stop the violence. Unfortunately, if history is any guide, Sharpton’s appearance might distract from that opportunity as he grandstands for the camera and solicits donations for his National Action Network.

And what about the man whose death sparked the rioting? The Baltimore Sun has attempted to piece together a timeline of the arrest of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, looking to discover how he sustained the injuries that led to his death. Like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, Gray has been made out to be a martyr at the altar of police brutality, but he was no angel. Gray’s rap sheet includes at least 18 arrests for various offenses. Baltimore police have not shed any light on why Gray was arrested earlier this month, stating only that he was carrying a knife, which was actually discovered after he was arrested.

It can be said that Gray was not a model citizen; however, the Baltimore Police Department is not a model law enforcement agency. The local police department has some problems of its own. A lengthy investigation in 2014 by the Baltimore Sun uncovered numerous incidents of police brutality and resultant civil suits that cost the city $5.7 million over three years.

Unlike Baltimore and Ferguson, Missouri, New York City actually handled the outcry after the death of Eric Garner in Staten Island.

As with civil unrest in Ferguson, Oakland, CA, and other cities around the country, a terrible pattern is playing out in Baltimore, and it looks something like this: In an effort to reclaim the city from criminals and gangs, police have on occasion gone beyond their mandate and sometimes been guilty of the very crimes they attempt to stop. The community, which should welcome and feel protected by the police, instead fear and loathe them because of injustices, either real or perceived. The situation can fester for years until an incident, oftentimes the shooting or death of someone in police custody, pops the top off a pressure cooker.

Not all those arrested are victims, and not all cops are criminals. Far from it. Yet, the media, ever in pursuit of a story, will report any angle that feeds the story. Sometimes facts are optional. Race hustlers like Al Sharpton and naïve liberals like Stephanie Rawlings-Blake don’t help the situation. Cooler heads must prevail and examine the root causes of these issues; otherwise Baltimore will be just another name on a sad and growing list of cities tearing themselves apart.

OPINION IN BRIEF

David Limbaugh: “Forget for a moment the ever-failing economy, the implosion of our foreign policy coherence, and our virtually unilateral withdrawal in the war on terror under Barack Obama’s presidency. If liberty lovers don’t start fighting back soon, we’ll forfeit our freedom of thought and religious expression under the assault of fascist leftist activists in our culture. … The real fight on [social] issues in this nation is no longer about the underlying ‘rights’ involved. It concerns the appalling mission of activists to marshal the coercive power of government and of commercial blackmail to compel other people to agree (and publicly say they agree) with their opinions on issues they deem important. Isn’t it ironic that the people who are pushing for these rights always wave banners of tolerance, love, compassion and liberty? More than ironic, it’s outrageous. And fewer and fewer people of principle are standing up to this tyrannical bullying because, understandably, they don’t want to put themselves in the crosshairs of this gestapo. But history tells us the logical conclusion of this story. Some socially liberal Republicans naively believe that this is only about the social issues themselves, but it’s about liberty. God help us.”

SHORT CUTS

Insight: “[T]he Government is merely a servant — merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn’t. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.” —Mark Twain (1835-1910)

Non Compos Mentis: “We … have to be very careful about the language we use to talk about [the situation in Baltimore]. I’m not calling these people rioters. I’m calling these uprisings and I think it’s an important distinction to make. This is not a riot. … [R]esistance looks different ways to different people and part of what it means to say black lives matter, is to assert our right to have rage — righteous rage, righteous indignation in the face of state violence and extrajudicial killing. … The city is burning because the police killed Freddie Gray and that’s a distinction we have to make.” —Morehouse College professor Marc Lamont Hill (How can anyone argue that turning a city into a war zone isn’t rioting? Moreover, there’s this thing called “due process.” And until the courts rule otherwise, the police are innocent.)

Dezinformatsia: “I don’t remember seeing anything like this in the United States of America in a long time.” —CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on the Baltimore riots (Was Ferguson really that long ago?)

The annals of the absurd: “Looting [is] a real shame. But FAR MORE shameful is [the] pattern of police violence against [the] black community! Perspective, people.” —CNN contributor and Daily Beast columnist Sally Kohn

The BIG Lie: “[Loretta Lynch] is a woman who is incredibly qualified, just like Eric Holder, who I’ve known and has been my close friend for years and years and years, over 30 years. He might be one of the finest attorney generals we have had. He has been in this environment of such political hostility. He has stood his ground on principle. He has never yielded. And he has been right.” —Joe Biden

Late-night humor: “New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has been positioning himself to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. Hillary once developed a program to deliver rural healthcare, while de Blasio once dropped a groundhog on its head.” —Jimmy Fallon

In 2014, the Wall Street Journal published an article entitled "Wind Power is Intermittent, But Subsides Are Eternal."  Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX) deserves credit for trying to prove them wrong.

Marchant and Rep. Mike Pompeo (KS) are seeking to end a two decade long subsidy to the unprofitable wind energy sector by introducing H.R. 1901, the PTC Elimination Act.  H.R. 1901 would phase out and repeal the renewable energy production tax credit (PTC), the central federal handout to unprofitable wind energy corporations.

The PTC gives wind producers a 2.3-cent tax credit for each kilowatt-hour of electricity produced.  The industry has become reliant on federal and state support despite the fact that wind energy is unreliable and costs more to produce.  The industry, which claims to make $1 billion a year, does not need a federal handout and should sink or swim on its own, without taxpayer support.  The PTC was originally designed to kickstart the industry to be self-sufficientbut has become another form of corporate welfare.  A cottage industry of lobbyists have sprung up.  Their sole mission is to extend the needed government support mechanism.

Congressman Marchant said “If we want to build a healthier American economy, Congress must get rid of the dead weight in the tax code that is limiting our nation’s potential. That’s why I have introduced legislation to eliminate the production tax credit. Since its creation in 1992, the PTC has ballooned from a temporary boost for energy innovation into a massive special interest handout for the now multibillion-dollar wind industry. Today the wind industry regularly produces more energy than the market demands while hardworking taxpayers shell out billions of dollars each year in PTC support. In fact, because the credit pays claimants for 10 years of energy produced, Americans are currently on the hook for a minimum of $6.4 billion over the next decade.

“The fully mature wind industry should not be spoon-fed by taxpayers any longer. Even the industry’s top lobbying organization admits wind is a mainstream part of the market and has publicly supported a future phase-out of the PTC. The PTC Elimination Act would begin this phase-out immediately by significantly scaling back PTC handouts to those who are eligible. Similar proposals have been estimated to save nearly $10 billion. But the PTC Elimination Act doesn’t stop there. It would also completely dismantle the credit’s statutory framework and use the savings to lower the U.S. corporate tax rate. Even the president agrees that the U.S. corporate tax rate – which is the highest in the industrialized world – must come down to keep American businesses competitive. The PTC Elimination Act may only be one piece of the effort to fix our broken tax code, but it puts the American people first and levels the playing field both at home and in the global marketplace. That’s the approach to tax simplification we must use to revitalize the American economy.”

The American people pay at least $12 billion annually to prop up wind energy.   The time has come to pull the cord and end the cycle of subsidies and cronyism.

It wasn’t quantifiable.  A "Nakba" Museum in Washington, DC?
(Michel Gurfinkiel) - Bshara Nassar — a self-described "peacebuilder and social entrepreneur, a graduate of Bethlehem University, Palestine," with "a master's degree in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University"...leads a campaign called the "Nakba Museum Project of Memory and Hope" in order to "bring the Palestinian refugee story to Washington, DC." The campaign, supported by Nonviolence International and Indiegogo, a crowd-funding organization, was launched in 2014 and seems to enjoy some popularity. A would-be parallel between the "Nakba" (the dislocation of Palestinian Arab society in the wake of the Arab-Israeli war of 1947-1948) and the Holocaust (the genocide of Jews operated by Nazi Germany) has been, for decades, a recurrent trope in the anti-Israel narrative. Concurrently, many anti-Israel activists, especially in the Islamic world, claim the Holocaust to be a hoax, while many others urge a "new Holocaust" or a "real Holocaust" against present-day Jews in Israel or elsewhere.     http://www.meforum.org/5200/nakba-museum

New Climate Study Blames “The Wiggles”
(rickwells.us) - The climate models that predict the gloom and doom of world-ending climate change, the premise used to justify our suicidal stampede to the 16th century, are no more effective than holding up a wet finger in the formulations of predictions...There are just too many variables and too many complex calculations for them to be up to the task even if the desire truly were an objective determination of man’s impact on the climate. It seems that man has some new competition for the role of villain in the climate debate from the obvious suspect, natural variability. A new study out of Duke University injects a new unknown into the debate over temperature fluctuations, what they call “climate wiggles.” They report their study to be based upon records of the last 1,000 years, which would cover both the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age. The inclusion of that data should have completely laid to rest the false claims of Michael Mann, his hockey stick and his masters at the IPCC. Curiously, none are mentioned in the article.     http://www.rickwells.us/new-climate-study-blames-the-wiggles-for-overstated-warming-that-hasnt-happened-but-still-might/

280 High School Students Just Told nObama To Shove It
(easelzippers.us) - 280 high schoolers – the entire junior class of Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington – have effectively told President nObama and his band of progressive buffoons that they can take their Common Core and shove it...When state testing began on Tuesday, not a single junior showed up on campus to participate, as the entire student body had collectively decided to exercise their legal right to opt out of the ‘Smarter Balanced’ exams. “They didn’t skip school all day,” commented district spokeswoman Stacy Howard, according to the Seattle Times. “They just didn’t show up during the testing period.”     http://weaselzippers.us/221746-280-high-school-students-just-told-obama-to-shove-it-in-an-epic-way

Polar Bears Put Lie to Warmist Propaganda
(fixthisnation.com) - No animal has been the focus of more climate change propaganda than the mighty polar bear. Making its home in the Arctic Circle, this proud beast has come to stand as a symbol for man’s irresponsible attitude towards the environment. Our thoughtless exploitation of fossil fuels is causing the ice caps to melt into the ocean, shrinking the bear’s habitat until there’s ultimately nothing left. For our greed and convenience, polar bears will suffer. According to a new report from the Global Warming Policy Foundation, though, concerns over polar bears have been blown out of proportion. You might even say they’ve been entirely made up. In Twenty Good Reasons Not to Worry About Polar Bears, author Susan Crockford – an evolutionary biologist with 35 years of experience – sets our fears at ease. With a global population of at least 25,000, polar bears are more numerous than they were 40 years ago. Even for the subpopulations in decline, the cause is thought to be overharvesting rather than melting sea ice. Crockford makes her case thoroughly, concluding that fluctuations in sea ice will do little damage to polar bear populations. She notes that labeling them a “threatened” species is dependent entirely on predictions, many of which fail to consider the bear’s environmental flexibility. “The truth is,” she writes, “polar bears are doing well despite dramatic declines in summer sea ice, for one simple reason: polar bears don’t need ice in late summer/early fall as long as they are well-fed in the spring.”     http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/polar-bears-put-lie-to-warmist-propaganda/

Wall Street analyst uncovers Clinton Foundation fraud
(Jerome R. Corsi) - The Bill, Hilly, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation – already under scrutiny for foreign donations – is now being accused of fraudulent and possibly criminal mismanagement...Over the past six weeks, Wall Street financial analyst and investor Charles Ortel has shared with WND, prior to publication, the results of his six-month, in-depth investigation into what he characterizes as an elaborate scheme devised by the Clintons to enrich themselves. Through their foundation, Ortel contends, the Clintons have defrauded an unsuspecting international public of hundreds of millions of dollars for personal gain.     http://www.wnd.com/2015/04/wall-street-analyst-uncovers-clinton-foundation-fraud/

Could You Spot
a Potential School Shooter?
Alan Caruba
AA%2B-%2BGun%2BFree%2BSchool%2BZone.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - In April 1999, we were all stunned by the news that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold had attacked and killed students at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado and, more recently, in December 2012, that Adam Lanza, after killing his mother at home, then massacred twenty-six staff and students at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. These events evoke dread of potential events, a quest to understand why they occurred, and ways to avoid further comparable killings.

Cover%2B-%2BSchool%2BShooters.png
Peter Langman has authored “School Shooters: Understanding High School, College, and Adult Perpetrators.” It offers very little comfort, but only because this psychologist, widely recognized for  his expertise, is refreshingly honest.

“Many people seek to reduce school shootings to a bite-sized explanatory chunk, but the phenomenon defies easy analysis,” says Langman. “There is no one cause of school shootings, there is no one intervention that will prevent school shootings, and there is no one profile of a school shooter.”

He offers a wealth of information about forty-eight shooters He divides them into “Psychopathic shooters” whom he describes as “profoundly narcissistic, arrogant, and entitled; they lacked empathy, and met their needs at other’s expense” and ”psychotic shooters” who “suffered from schizophrenia or a related disorder. They were out of touch with reality to varying degrees, experiencing hallucinations or delusions.”

“Unlike the psychopathic and psychotic shooters, who generally came from well-functioning, intact families, traumatized shooters endured chronic abuse as children. They grew up in violent, severely dysfunctional homes.” Most fell into the first two categories.

I would like to offer the reader some comfort that school shooters can be “spotted” in advance, but in most of the cases that Langman cites, they looked like everyone else in any school. Only if one of them was to confide his plan was there any opportunity to intervene and then only if he was reported.

Among the psychopathic category “at least 75 percent (nine out of twelve) had body issues. Many of these physical characteristics had a direct bearing on perceived manliness, including short stature, thin build, chest deformity, and fear of sterility” leading Langham to suggest a link between feeling weak or damaged and extreme narcissism. It is widely believed that bullying is linked to these events, but Langham notes that while about forty percent were harassed only one targeted a bully. While there is concern these days about bullying in schools, it is mostly due to a heightened awareness, not because there is more or less of it than has ever existed.

One thing does stand out, however, “nearly all shooters had bad educational experiences, including academic difficulties (failing classes, repeated grades, not graduating) or disciplinary problems…at least 92 percent had negative academic or disciplinary experiences.” And then there’s this: “At least 38 percent of shooters had relatives who worked or volunteered in schools.”

Another common factor was that “at least half of the perpetrators engaged in substance abuse (illegal drugs, prescription drugs, or alcohol.) In addition, “at least 42 percent of the shooters had a history of legal troubles, including arrests, contempt of court, and loss of a driver’s license.”

“Many shooters had trouble getting or holding jobs.” This was particularly true of the older shooters. Charles Whitman, an American engineering student at the University of Texas, gained infamy when in August 1966 he killed his wife and mother in their homes and later that day went to the Austin campus where he killed sixteen people and wounded 32 others over the course of ninety minutes, firing from the observation deck of the main building before being killed by an Austin police officer.

To academic and employment problems, add romantic failures. “Most shooters either failed to establish any romantic or sexual relationships or else suffered breakups or rejections that contributed to their anguish and anger.”

It should surprise no one that a number of the shooters “had specific role models for violence, including serial killers, mass murders, and other school shooters.” Most of them were psychotic, whereas the psychopaths “felt no need to attach themselves to a source of power; they the source of power.”

Out of this densely documented book Langham concludes “There is no one way to prevent school shootings.” What also emerges is the fact that “Most school shooters leave a trail of warning signs that are either not noticed or not responded to.”

Many of the shooters came from families that owned guns and used them for hunting or sport shooting. They had little reason to regard them as instruments with which to kill people other than their own twisted psychological interpretation.

What I came away with was the conclusion that the shooters are people we would all easily identify as “losers.” Beyond that, there is no specific way of identifying them, only suspicions of their capability to do the unthinkable.

trea-1.jpg?width=219Yesterday, in part 1 of this expose, I related the background info compiled by Peter Schweizer, author of “Clinton Cash” and by the NY Times but there is, I believe, more…MUCH more to all of this than the “donations” for “deals” we have all heard of by now.

Let’s get right to it.

The biggest player in the uranium mining ‘deal’ engineered by the Clintons and approved of by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is Rosatom…the Russian uranium company that now, thanks to Hillary, controls 20% of all uranium mining in the United States. How big IS Rosatam?

HUGH…on the world stage.

Rosatom builds more nuclear power plants worldwide than any other company. Right now…Rosatom has projects in China, Vietnam, India, TURKEY and…IRAN. But that simply is not the scope of what they do. Rosatom is ALSO the primary EXPORTER of uranium in Russia and Russia controls not only 20% of OUR uranium mining but…since Russia holds sway over Kazakhstan and as Kazakhistan is the world’s TOP PRODUCER of uranium…Russia controls more of the world’s supply than anyone else.

Here’s a little something else…

Drone Killed American Hostage and nObama Barely Apologizes
In January, the U.S. drone program killed three American citizens in Pakistan, one of them Maryland doctor and al-Qaida hostage Warren Weinstein. After piecing together drone footage and intercepted jihadi communications, U.S. officials concluded that a "signature strike" killed hostages Weinstein and Giovanni Lo Porto, an Italian. A signature strike is a drone attack where the CIA doesn't know exactly who is on the ground, yet they take action based on suspicious activity.
Officially, Barack nObama apologized. "As president and as commander in chief, I take full responsibility for all our counterterrorism operations, including the one that inadvertently took the lives of Warren and Giovanni," he said. "I profoundly regret what happened." But then nObama spokesman Josh Earnest and the CIA undermined the executive's apology by insisting nObama didn't sign off on this particular strike. What a stark contrast to nObama's obnoxious victory laps after Navy SEALs dispatched Osama bin Laden.
The other two Americans killed in January strikes were al-Qaida jihadists — one of them the first American convicted of treason since World War II. Yet because the strike killed hostages it raises questions about nObama's management of the U.S. drone program itself — his signature counter-terrorism strategy. That said, it's an effective tool that's far more precise than conventional World War II bombing raids or coating Vietnam forests with Agent Orange, though as long as jihadis hide among civilians, avoiding civilian casualties will be difficult. And nObama isn't doing nearly so well at it as he claims. More...  -The Patriot Post
Did the IRS Intentionally Provoke Customer Service Woes?
Remember when federal agencies were ordered to intentionally manipulate the impacts of the government "shutdown" to take political advantage? The Internal Revenue Service is apparently borrowing from the same playbook. Commissioner John Koskinen testified that stringent budget cuts by Congress have hampered the agency's ability to adequately handle certain functions, like customer service. Just recently the Treasury's inspector general found that before March 7 nearly 4 in 10 customers who called into the agency never reached a representative — a drastic spike from the 1-in-10 ratio of a decade ago — and those that did waited an average of 25 minutes. A headline from The Hill described it as "IRS service worse than expected," but a new report suggests the abysmal service was self-inflicted — and potentially strategically implemented.
Here's how: "While congressional funding for the IRS remained flat from 2014 to 2015, the IRS diverted $134 million away from customer service to other activities," reports John McCormack of The Weekly Standard. "In addition to the $11 billion appropriated by Congress, the IRS takes in more than $400 million in user fees and may allocate that money as it sees fit. In 2014, the IRS allocated $183 million in user fees to its customer service budget, but allocated just $49 million in 2015 — a 76 percent cut." In other words, the agency could have helped more Americans with our complicated tax-filing system but instead diverted funds elsewhere (perhaps toward targeting conservative groups?). At best, it's government inefficiency, and, at worst, the agency is caught in more malfeasance. Considering its track record, forgive us for assuming the latter. More...  -The Patriot Post
Parents of Michael Brown File Civil Suit Against Ferguson
Michael Brown's mother and father won't stop until they see their definition of "justice" carried out. First, a grand jury declined to indict Officer Darren Wilson for the self-defense shooting death of their son. Then, Eric Holder's race-baiting Department of Justice not only declined to charge Wilson on civil rights violations but vindicated his actions. Still eying the prospect of winning the legal lottery, however, Brown's parents are going to try one more time. They filed a wrongful death lawsuit Thursday against the City of Ferguson, former police chief Thomas Jackson and Wilson. The suit seeks $75,000 and changes in the way the city conducts policing, because the Ferguson Police Department "had a custom or policy of negligently hiring and retaining officers, failing to property train and/or supervise officers in the use of deadly force," the suit reads. The lawsuit builds off the DOJ's report, which found the city practiced racial bias, with employees distributing racist jokes by email, for example. There are examples of the Ferguson PD seemingly abusing its power, such as one woman's illegally parked car turning into a six-month legal battle, $1,000 in fines and six days in jail. Abusive systems should certainly be reformed. But how many times must Darren Wilson prove his innocence? More...  -The Patriot Post
Rubio, Walker Struggle With Immigration Footing
Immigration is likely to become a major issue in the 2016 presidential race, which is a good thing because the nation's immigration policies could use some reform. Unfortunately, any attempt at discussing reform will bring bombast, pandering rhetoric and misstatements of the facts. GOP candidates Marco Rubio and Scott Walker have already been caught up in the debate, taking heat from all sides for their recent statements. And the changing positions these two men have held on the issue hasn't done either of them any favors. Right now, the focus is on Barack nObama’s amnesty plan, which thankfully has been stalled in the courts. Given nObama's habit of thumbing his nose at the Constitution and circumventing the law to suit his political needs, we can be sure the matter won't end there. But there is a larger issue at play than just the 12 million illegals being recruited to join Democrat ranks. Recently released U.S. Census figures reveal America is in the midst of an immigration wave unlike any the country has ever experienced. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, "Absent a change in current policy, the Census Bureau projects that in 2023 the nation's immigrant population (legal and illegal) will reach 14.8 percent (51 million) of the total U.S. population — the highest share ever recorded in American history." And by 2060, one in five people in the U.S. will be an immigrant.  -The Patriot Post
PRESSURE GROWS ON HILLY FROM LEFT AND RIGHT
The stakes are getting higher for Hilly Clinton. Liberal outlets and Democratic donors are pressuring her to offer substantive answers to the growing body of evidence against her and her husband and their cash fracking operation. That means she will soon have to meet the press (This time, expect a soft-focus interview with a credible but credulous reporter rather than the horror of her email press conference). While Clinton and her team are rehearsing lines that don’t sound like a deposition but can get past the legal department, a more serious challenge is on the horizon. Katie Couric doesn’t put you under oath. Trey Gowdy does.
House Speaker backstabber John Boehner said Clinton “violated the law” when she destroyed more than 30,000 emails from her time as secretary of state and that he was open to trying to subpoena her servers. And now, Clinton has been called to testify about her role in the cover-up of the Benghazi attack. She has said in the past that she would cooperate, but recently refused the offer of a closed-door chat. Will she refuse to appear in public? Would she fight a subpoena? The stakes are higher now that allegations of corruption are stacking up. Benghazi leads to questions about her servers and destruction of evidence. The destruction of evidence leads to questions about the new allegations of official misconduct. But does she dare say no?
The high-stakes legal gambits that have been the hallmark of the Clintons’ decades in Washington are heading into new territory. Whatever else you think about her, at least everyone can agree that Clinton’s candidacy means business for the D.C. defense bar. As to whether voters wish to endure more rounds of legal wrangling and Clinton drama is up to them.

The Third And Final Phase Of Islam
(Bethany Blankley) - The ultimate goal of Islamic totalitarianism is achieved first by Muslims pretending to be peaceful, then by subjugating and killing all non-Muslims...The third and final phase of Islam involves widespread violence against the non-Muslim world Muhammad called “dar al-harb” (House of War). Under Islamic totalitarianism, world peace, “Dar el- Salam,” is achieved once every country is Shari’a-ruled. The third phase of Islam is evidenced by dramatically increased attacks on non-Muslims, widespread massacres, and ongoing militia warfare when Muslims represent roughly 40 percent of a population. Reaching 60 percent, persecution of non-Muslims becomes constant. At around 80 percent, all non-Muslims are driven out of their homes and country through oppressive and unceasing violence.     http://www.westernjournalism.com/the-third-and-final-phase-of-islam-islam-as-the-civilization-alternative/?utm_source=MailChimp&utm_medium=email&utm_content=opinion-articles&utm_campaign=DailyEmail04.25.15

Ted Cruz Obliterates AG Nominee Loretta Lynch And Rep. Senate
(Justin Koski) - Early Thursday morning, ahead of the Senate’s vote on President nObama’s nomination of Loretta Lynch for attorney general, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, ranted about current Attorney General Eric Holder, the likelihood of having Lynch as his successor...and the Republican Senate majority. He argued that as bad as Eric Holder has been as the attorney general, Lynch would be just as bad, if not worse. Cruz, who is running for president, posed a tough question to the Senate: what difference would it make whether Republicans or Democrats dominate the Senate, if someone arguably promising to be just like Holder is nominated by a president like nObama as attorney general?

The real sources of Bill Clinton's speaking fees

(Dick Morris) - The Clintons lined their joint bank accounts with millions of dollars from Bill’s speaking fees from foreign governments, government related organizations and multinational corporations...But you won’t see all of the details on Hilly’s mandatory financial reports filed and publicized while she was secretary of state. Was she hiding something from us? Sure looks like it, because Hilly’s financial disclosures routinely omitted the sponsorships of many of Bill’s lucrative speeches. Federal law required her to publicly disclose the “source” of honoraria to Bill, but she apparently interpreted that to mean the entity that wrote the check, not the entity that paid or contributed to it. Both have reported the sources of those lucrative fees -- Bill, voluntarily, and Hilly, as required by law.  Al Qaeda, jihadist allies declare victory over Syrian regime in key city
(Thomas Joscelyn) - The Al Nusrah Front, al Qaeda’s official branch in Syria, and its allies have declared victory over the Syrian regime in the city of Jisr Al Shughur. The city was considered one of the regime’s last remaining strongholds in the northwestern province of Idlib...Late last month, the jihadists launched a major offensive in the province, sweeping Assad’s forces out of the provincial capital. The battle for Jisr Al Shughur was the next major step in the jihadists’ plan to consolidate their control over the area. Al Nusrah declared “victory” on one of its official Twitter feeds, adding that the city has been “liberated.” Some of the photos posted on the Twitter page show al Qaeda’s fighters in control of the city’s center, the regime’s checkpoints, and a regime-built hospital. Al Nusrah uses another photo, picturing a number of bodies piled on top of one another, to claim that Assad’s forces committed a “massacre” as they fled the city.

Muslim Brotherhood Pay-Rolled By Clinton Foundation
(Denise Simon) - Per the Muslim Brotherhood website: The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood is reporting that Gehad El-Haddad, described as “spokesperson of the Muslim Brotherhood”, was sentenced to life imprisonment in a 2103 case known as “the media trial”...In August 2013, the GMBDW reported on the arrest of Gehad El-Haddad by Egyptian security forces. At the time, we noted that although we were the first and only Western source known to have reported on El-Haddad’s employment by the Clinton Foundation, mainstream media reports mentioning this employment failed to credit the GMBDW. Gehad El-Haddad, the the son of Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader Essam El-Haddad, was a Senior Adviser on Foreign Affairs to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood ‘s Freedom and Justice Party, a position he held since May 2011. His resume also says that he was is a Senior Adviser & Media Spokesperson for the Muslim Brotherhood as well as a Steering Committee Member of the Brotherhood’s Renaissance (Nahda) Project. Mr Haddad was also the Media Strategist & Official Spokesperson for the presidential campaign of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Gehad El-Haddad’s resume reports that he was the City Director for the William J. Clinton Foundation from August 2007 – August 2012. Among his duties at the Foundation were representing the Foundation’s Clinton Climate Initiative in Egypt, setting up the foundation’s office in Egypt and managed official registration, and identifying and developing program-based projects & delivery work plans.     http://noisyroom.net/blog/2015/04/24/muslim-brotherhood-pay-rolled-by-clinton-foundation/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29

 Iran: nObama’s Fatal, Final Mistake
(leanrightamerica.org) - When it’s all said and done, presidential historians and political pundits will have plenty to chew on when it comes to the two terms of Barack nObama. It’s hard to imagine many writers of even token objectivity regarding this presidency as a success, but even if they shine the best possible light on the economy, immigration, and nObamacare, they are going to have a tougher time with Iran...The nuclear deal this administration has struck with the Islamic Republic may go down as nObama’s defining moment. And it could well condemn him to Worst President Ever status. That is, if any of us are around to write about it. Because while nObamacare is a destructive force on American freedom and the open market and illegal immigration undermines the rule of law and damages the economy, the Iranian nuclear deal could invite an even doomier future. Already, it is obvious that the parties left the negotiations table with much different ideas of what they had in their hands. nObama is claiming rigorous inspections and a gradual phaseout on sanctions; Iran is claiming that there really is no deal at all and even if there was, the sanctions would be lifted right away. They have also declared that any inspections that would infringe on their security are out of the question, meaning their military sites would be off-limits.     http://www.leanrightamerica.org/uncategorized/iran-obamas-fatal-final-mistake/

(Michael S. Schmidt and David E. From those accounts, they reached emails that the president had sent and received, according to officials briefed on the investigation.     http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/26/us/russian-hackers-read-obamas-unclassified-emails-officials-say.html?_r=0

Top scientists start to examine fiddled global warming figures
(Christopher Booker) - Last month, we are told, the world enjoyed “its hottest March since records began in 1880”. This year, according to “US government scientists”, already bids to outrank 2014 as “the hottest ever”...The figures from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) were based, like all the other three official surface temperature records on which the world’s scientists and politicians rely, on data compiled from a network of weather stations by NOAA’s Global Historical Climate Network (GHCN). But here there is a puzzle. These temperature records are not the only ones with official status. The other two, Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) and the University of Alabama (UAH), are based on a quite different method of measuring temperature data, by satellites. And these, as they have increasingly done in recent years, give a strikingly different picture. Hilly’s Ungainly Glide
Peggy Noonan
(peggynoonan.com) - I’m off the next two weeks finishing a book, and I can already tell you this is a terrible time to be away from the scene. Hilly Clinton’s announcement followed by her dark-windowed SUV journey into deepest darkest America was the most inept, phony, shallow, slickily-slick and meaningless launch of a presidential candidacy I have ever seen. We have come to quite a pass when the Clintons can’t even do the show business of politics well. The whole extravaganza has the look of profound incompetence and disorganization—no one could have been thinking this through—or profound cynicism, or both. It has yielded only one good thing, and that is a memorable line, as Mrs. Clinton glided by reporters: “We do have a plan. We have a plan for my plan.” That is how the Washington Post quoted her, on ideas on campaign finance reform.

Marco Rubio had a pretty great announcement in that it made the political class look at him in a new way, and a better way. I have heard him talk about his father the bartender I suppose half a dozen times, yet hearing it again in his announcement moved me. I don’t know how that happened. backstabber John Boehner is the son of a barkeep. It has occurred to me a lot recently that many if not most of the people I see in the highest reaches of American life now come from relatively modest circumstances. Rubio is right that this is our glory, but I’m thinking one of the greatest things about America is a larger point: There’s room for everybody. You can rise if you come from one of the most established, wealthiest families, and you can rise if you came from nothing. I have promised myself I will stop talking about the musical “Hamilton” and so will not note that this is one of the points made in the musical “Hamilton”: America was special in this regard from the beginning, with landed gentry like Jefferson and Washington working side by side with those such as the modestly born Ben Franklin and the lowborn Alexander Hamilton. But now it is more so. Anyway, back to Rubio: “Yesterday’s over” was good, and strict, and was a two shot applying as much to the Clintons as the Bushes.
Two points on the general feel of the 2016 campaign so far.

One is that in the case of Mrs. Clinton we are going to see the press act either like the press of a great nation—hungry, raucous, alive, demanding—or like a hopelessly sickened organism, a big flailing octopus with no strength in its arms, lying like a greasy blob at the bottom of the sea, dying of ideology poisoning.

Republicans know—they see it every day—that Republican candidates get grilled, sometimes impertinently, and pressed, sometimes brusquely. And it isn’t true that they’re only questioned in this way once they announce, Scott Walker has been treated like this also, and he has yet to announce. Republicans see this, and then they see that Mrs. Clinton isn’t grilled, is never forced to submit to anyone’s morning-show impertinence, is never the object of the snotty question or the sharp demand for information. She gets the glide. She waves at the crowds and the press and glides by. No one pushes. No one shouts the rude question or rolls out the carefully scripted set of studio inquiries meant to make the candidate squirm. She is treated like the queen of England, who also isn’t subjected to impertinent questions as she glides into and out of venues. But she is the queen. We are not supposed to have queens.

Second point: We have simply never had a dynamic like the one that seems likely to prevail next year.

On the Republican side there is a good deep bench and there will be a hell of a fight among serious and estimable contenders. A handful of them—Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Rubio, maybe Bobby Jindal—are first-rate debaters, sharp advancers of a thought and a direction. Their debates, their campaigning, their opp geniuses, their negative ads—it’s all going to be bloody. Will the American people look at them in 2016 and see dynamism and excitement and youth and actual ideas and serious debate? Will it look like that’s where the lightning’s striking and the words have meaning? Will it fortify and revivify the Republican brand? Or will it all look like mayhem and chaos? Will the eventual winner emerge a year from now too bloodied, too damaged to go on a
nd win in November? Will the party itself look bloody and damaged?

On the Democratic side we have Mrs. Clinton, gliding. If she has no serious competition, will the singularity of her situation make her look stable, worthy of reflexive respect, accomplished, serene, the obvious superior choice? Or will Hilly alone on the stage, or the couch, or in the tinted-window SUV, look entitled, presumptuous, old, boring, imperious, yesterday?

Will it all come down to bloody versus boring?

And which would America prefer?

The IRS and the FFRF vs. the Church

The IRS vs. the Church

The IRS targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups prior to the 2012 election was an unconscionable abuse of power for which accountability and punishment have been noticeably absent. But this was and is not the only use by the Obama administration of the power to tax to attempt to destroy its political opponents.

The IRS is also involved in targeting what President Obama has called “less than loving” Christians through the mandates of ObamaCare and its attack on the free exercise of religion through the attempted coercion of mandated health insurance coverage  This administration’s war on religion is also seen in the monitoring of Christian churches by the IRS in response to a lawsuit filed on December 27, 2012 by the Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF)  concerning sermons that are considered by the political left  to be political speech by tax-exempt organization in alleged violation of federal law. These sermons, often criticizing ObamaCare’s encroachment on freedom of religion through its mandates among other issues, are considered electioneering by the atheist left.

THE FOUNDATION

“No people will tamely surrender their liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved. On the contrary, when people are universally ignorant, and debauched in their manners, they will sink under their own weight without the aid of foreign invaders.” —Samuel Adams, letter to James Warren, 1775

Obama Joked at Nerd Prom While Baltimore Rioted

Once again, Hollywood celebrities and DC politicians gathered in Washington Saturday for the White House Correspondents' Dinner — AKA nerd prom. It’s an opportunity for Nancy Pelosi to rub shoulders with the likes of Jane Fonda and for Barack Obama to further his agenda and take down political opponents by dishing out punch lines.

While the baseball game at Baltimore’s Camden Yards went into lockdown because of protests outside, three big television networks — CNN, MSNBC and CSPAN — kept their cameras trained on the White House Correspondents' Dinner because Obama was going to start his jokes soon. Never mind that the latest chapter in the debate over modern day policing was being punctuated by vandalized police cars and smashed storefronts an hour away.

Obama was once again selling the tired issue of “climate change,” trying to make it matter to everyday Americans. “I am determined to make the most of every moment I have left,” Obama said. “After the midterm elections, my advisors asked me, ‘Mr. President, do you have a bucket list?’ And I said, ‘Well, I have something that rhymes with bucket list.’ Take executive action on immigration? Bucket. New climate regulations? Bucket. It’s the right thing to do.” But as executive editor of the Washington Free Beacon Sonny Bunch pointed out in a piece titled “This Is Why They Hate Us,” no one except those inside the Beltway cares about nerd prom.

Clinton Foundation Refiles Taxes as Media Grows Suspicious

On Sunday, the Clinton Foundation admitted it did not properly disclose which foreign governments donated to the organization while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state. As a result, it is refiling taxes because of the “mistakes.” Acting CEO of the nonprofit Maura Pallyissued a statement, saying, “So yes, we made mistakes, as many organizations of our size do, but we are acting quickly to remedy them, and have taken steps to ensure they don’t happen in the future.” This comes as liberal media organizations become increasingly suspicious of Clinton because of reports she favored foreign bureaucrats and oligarchs who donated to the Clinton Foundation during her time as madam secretary. This admission of fault from the Clinton Foundation is a way of damage control. If they own up to it and appear to fix the problem, then maybe they can move past the nasty headlines. But as the talking heads at The New York Times editorial board, ABC’s “World News Tonight,” MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and CNN all said last week: These allegations are not about to go away. More…

Study Finds Significant Economic Effects of Immigration Surge

A new study from the Congressional Research Service discovered an interesting interrelation between depressed middle class incomes and increased immigration. The Washington Examinerreports that in 1945 the foreign-born population of the United States stood at 10,971,146, but by 1970 it slid to 9,740,000 for a net loss of 1,231,146 foreigners. At the same time, says the CRS, “The reported income of the bottom 90% of tax filers in the United States increased from an average of $18,418 in 1945 to $33,621 in 1970 for an aggregate change of $15,202 or a percent increase of 82.5% over this 25 year period.” In contrast, from 1970 to 2013, the foreign-born population blossomed from 9,740,000 to 41,348,066, a 324.5% increase. However, “The reported income of the bottom 90% of tax filers in the United States decreased from an average of $33,621 in 1970 to $30,980 in 2013 for an aggregate decline of $2,641 or a percent decline of 7.9% over this 43 year period.” There’s no question high-skilled emigrants who go through the system legally contribute positive economic effects. The issue is that our basically open borders has allowed the population of unskilled illegal immigrants to swell, which undoubtedly strangles the overall economy. Border security must be Congress' top priority to fix the overarching issues affecting America’s middle class.

FEATURED RIGHT ANALYSIS

The Wisconsin Left Tried to Criminalize Free Speech

By Arnold Ahlert

2015-04-27-64947a87_large.jpg

Because law enforcement officials in Wisconsin are allowed to conduct John Doe investigations, defined as “an independent, investigatory tool to ascertain whether a crime has been committed and if so, by whom.” And unlike other investigations that require probable cause to pursue, John Doe investigations are conducted to establish the existence of probable cause itself.

Under the rubric of looking for campaign-finance violations, the investigations were initiated by Milwaukee district attorney John Chisholm, a partisan Democrat — whose wife is a teachers' union shop steward — and a man determined to find anything that could undermine the political career of rising Republican star Gov. Scott Walker. Walker has thwarted Wisconsin leftists at every turn, winning three elections, including a recall effort, in just four years.

Chisholm’s undertook his first John Doe investigation in 2010, when Walker was Milwaukee County Executive. After three years, it netted all of six individuals who pled guilty to crimes ranging from stealing money from a veterans' fund, and sending political emails on government time, to violation of state campaign finance laws and contributing to the delinquency of a child. Walker himself? Never even charged.

Undaunted, Chisholm launched a second John Doe investigation shortly after Democrats failed to remove Walker in the recall election in 2012, an act of naked revenge precipitated by the passage of Walker’s “budget repair bill” known as Act 10. Act 10 limited the collective bargaining power of unions — including the teachers union to which Chisholm’s wife belonged. The machination surrounding the passage of Act 10 included Democratic state legislators fleeing the state to prevent a vote on the issue, an effort to affect a liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court for the purpose of overturning the law after it was passed, and the recall election.

The second probe, led by special prosecutor Francis Schmitz, targeted Walker and 29 conservative groups. Dozens of subpoenas were issued demanding documents related to the 2011 and 2012, campaign, all based on the theory that these groups had illegally coordinated their activities during recall campaigns of Walker and other Republican legislators targeted for supporting Act 10. National Review’s Rich Lowry aptly described what really occurred. “Walker’s opponents weaponized campaign-finance law, literally,” he explains.

One of those groups, Wisconsin Club for Growth (WCFG), and its founder Eric O'Keefe filed suit. In 2014, U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa granted a preliminary injunction halting the investigation, and hammered prosecutors “for exercising issue advocacy speech rights that on their face are not subject to the regulations or statutes the defendants seek to enforce.” The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed the case on appeal, but not because they disagreed with Randa’s interpretation, but because the Anti-Injunction Act prohibited federal courts from intervening in a state criminal investigation based on the cited principles of “equity, comity, and federalism.” Circuit Judge Frank Easterbrook characterized the ruling as victory for states' rights.

Nonetheless it remain clear O'Keefe’s rights were violated and Section 1983 of the U.S. Code allows citizens to be granted relief under federal law if their rights have been violated by state officials. Last Friday, the Supreme Court began deliberations to determine if O'Keefe v. Chisholm will be heard by the highest court in the land. The Wall Street Journal insists such a hearing is critically necessary because the theory of coordination, allowing “vast investigations to be instigated on the thinnest evidence” it is part of yet another leftist effort to undermine the Court’s 2010 Citizens United ruling that lifted unconstitutional restrictions on spending by corporations and labor unions. That would be the very same Citizen’s United decision that former IRS hack Lois Lerner was bemoaning at Duke’s Sanford School of Public Policy on Oct. 19, 2010 when she stated that the “Federal Election Commission can’t do anything about it; they want the IRS to fix the problem.”

The IRS decided to “fix” the problem by denying or delaying conservative groups' tax-exempt status, and attempting to coordinate with the Eric Holder-led Justice Department to tamp down revelations regarding that scandal. Wisconsin Democrats chose to fix it by conducting two separate witch-hunts replete with dawn raids and gag orders. In a better world, lots of people would be getting disbarred and/or going to jail. In this one, the American Left will continue its attempt to criminalize speech with which they disagree — by any means necessary — until they are stopped.

Stopped from doing what? Try this, courtesy of National Review’s David French:

“As I finished an interview with one victim still living in fear, still shattered by the experience of nearly losing everything simply because she supported the wrong candidate at the wrong time, I asked whether she had any final thoughts. ‘Just one,’ she replied. ‘I’m hoping for accountability, that someone will be held responsible so that they’ll never do this again.’ She paused for a moment and then, with voice trembling, said: ‘No one should ever endure what my family endured.’”

Here’s hoping the Supreme Court agrees — in no uncertain terms.

OPINION IN BRIEF

Stephen Moore: “[B]illionaire Tom Steyer convened the uber-rich liberal donor base at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle — nice — to pontificate about how much they care about polar bears, the Arctic ice caps and rising sea levels. … A Gallup poll found in March 2015 that only 2 percent of Americans perceive the ‘environment/pollution’ as the nation’s ‘most important problem.’ And a Bloomberg poll last year specifically listing climate as a candidate for ‘most important issue’ found only 5 percent of Americans concurring. Polls also show the richer Democrats are, the more they care about climate change. Maybe that’s because green policies hurt the poor and working class — starting most obviously with opposition to modern drilling techniques such as fracking, and with blocking infrastructure projects that would create tens of thousands of high-paying union jobs. … No one on the left, least of all the donors who are funding the climate change scare campaign, seem to care about how the poor will cope with slow growth and higher costs. The Sierra Club’s Lexus liberals can afford a future with less growth, fewer jobs and higher costs for everything. The middle class can’t. Democrats have abandoned the financial interests of these Americans. Republicans really are the stupid party if they can’t win these disenchanted voters.”

SHORT CUTS

Insight: “There can be no security anywhere in the free world if there is no fiscal and economic stability within the United States.” —The Gipper

Non Compos Mentis: “It’s a very delicate balancing act. Because while we try to make sure that [the Baltimore protesters] were protected from the cars and other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well.” —Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake (Regardless of whether her intent was to defend rioting, it will be interesting to see the mayor defend this regrettable remark on the campaign trail.)

Demo-gogues: “I’ve gotta give it to the citizens of Baltimore. I was there all day. It was very peaceful, all day, thousands of people. And then at the end there were a few people who said, ‘We’re gonna turn this city down [sic], we’re gonna close it down,’ and the next thing you know we had a few people mainly from out of town … start beating up on police cars and throwing all kinds of projectiles. But the fact is that, for the most part, it could have been worse. But again, this whole police-community relations situation … is the civil rights cause for this generation.” —Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD)

Race bait: “With an institution like American policing, that I believe is founded on anti-blackness, on slave patrols, there are things that are so institutionally ingrained in terms of how we police communities, that are anti-black. They may not say specifically in the language, in the words, that they’ll stop and target black people, but when you do this type of proactive policing … these disproportionately [affect] black and brown and poor communities. So, these things are not only racist, they are also classist.” —community organizer Cherrell Brown (Start with giving police a reason not to disproportionately patrol black communities that have disproportionate levels of crime.)

Village Idiots: “What the Clinton Foundation has said is that we will be even more transparent, even though Transparency International and others have said we’re among the most transparent of foundations. I very much believe that that is the right policy. That we’ll be even more transparent. That to eliminate any questions while we’re in this time, we won’t take new government funding, but that the work will continue as it is.” —Chelsea Clinton

Late-night humor: “It’s being reported that Google spent over $5 million on lobbying just during the first quarter of this year. You’d think Google wouldn’t really need to lobby politicians. All they have to say is, ‘We have your search history. Do what we tell you.’” —Jimmy Fallon

#Take Back Our Kids

#TakeBackOurKids

Our nineteen fifty something station-wagon was loaded with mom, dad, big fat Aunt Nee (300lbs ), myself and four younger siblings. Aunt Nee raised my dad; his surrogate mom. Our family was excited about spending a hot summer day at Carr's Beach, Maryland. I had no idea at that time that it was the only Maryland beach open to blacks.

Before hitting the road to the beach, the ritual included riding from our black suburban community into Baltimore city to pick up Aunt Nee and stopping down “Jew Town” to purchase corned-beef and a bread that the adults loved. I did not get a sense that my parents calling it Jew Town was meant in a derogatory way. It was simply an area of Baltimore filled with Jewish businesses that sold great food.

As a matter of fact, most of the corner stores in black neighborhoods were owned by Jews. Blacks purchased items without cash, put on their account. Store owners would log items in their book; no bulletproof wall and turn-style between the Jewish store owners and their black customers.

We always had a wonderful time at the beach and rode home exhausted. Dad's car was not air conditioned. Looking back, I wonder how on earth did we endure; three adults, five kids, food and beach supplies stuffed in a hot station-wagon. And yet, all my memories of family days at the beach bring a warm smile to my face.

Mom was a great cook. Two of mom's weekday dinner menus stick out as favorites. One was mom's hot homemade biscuits with butter and King Syrup. The other was collard greens with cornbread dumplings. We kids were clueless about the economic component surrounding these meals. We simply enjoyed them, never feeling deprived.

Wednesday nights were prayer service at the storefront church in Baltimore city where dad was assistant pastor. On the way home, there was a corner bakery right before we crossed over the Hanover Street bridge. Whenever dad unexpectedly pulled over to purchase a dozen donuts, it was an exciting family treat.

As the eldest, I remember my parent's lean years more than my siblings. One Christmas, I was extremely excited receiving a secondhand bicycle. Years later, Santa delivered new bikes for my younger brothers and sister.

Dad was among Baltimore City's first black firefighters and mom worked part-time as a custodian at a high school and a domestic for white folks.

My point is we did not have what kids have today. And yet, we enjoyed the little things. We did not feel deprived. Mom and dad always found a way to get us whatever we needed. I remember wearing my new suit for 6th grade graduation looking at my friend Martin wearing a suit a few sizes too small. My three brothers, sister and I were happy.

The Bible says “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). While my siblings and I had our individual periods of rebellion, like the prodigal son, we defaulted back to our home training; our parent's principles and values.

Today, the Left is aggressively usurping authority over your kids, ripping parenting out of your hands.

Decades of allowing liberal indoctrination to go unchallenged has produced a generation of youths who believe in the name of “fairness” that no one should have more than anyone else (income inequality). Needs and desires are now declared to be rights (government entitlements). In our quest to prove our tolerance as conservatives, we allowed the Left to steal our kid's minds.

Youths are idealistic. Once liberalized guilt-ridden youths are led down the road of trying to make life fair, the consequences are far reaching. For example: Pressure from students is forcing colleges to make all campus restrooms “all gender”. An Oregon High School created gender-neutral restrooms for transgender students.

In case you have not noticed, the Left has zero tolerance for anyone daring to disagree with their far left radical liberal agenda. They punish and even seek to criminalize opposing points of view.  How long will it be before our kids are reporting their parents to authorities after overhearing them express an opinion out-of-step with that of the Left, government and the mainstream media?

Folks, it is time that we take back our kids from Leftist's indoctrination.

Though “#Bring Back Our Girls” won rave reviews from liberals, sadly, it did nothing to free the 200 girls kidnapped and made sex slaves by Islamic extremists. A year later, the girls have not been returned.

I wish to implement, #TakeBackOurKids. I am calling all parents to closely monitor their local school administrators and school boards, confronting them when necessary. Home schooling is a great option. We can no longer sit back and passively allow the Left to totally control the thinking and beliefs of our kids. We must #TakeBackOurKids.

Chairman, Conservative Campaign Committee
