America's military readiness has been in steady decline ever since Barack nObama took the helm. Yet overall the federal government has grown at an insatiable rate. nObama created numerous government programs that are not only adding trillions of dollars to our national debt but also expanding the government's already excessive influence on matters not granted its authority. A good illustration is seen in the number of federal regulators. There's literally an army of them: 277,000 as of last year.

But that's not an all-inclusive figure, either. CNS News explains that this figure "include[s] only regulatory agencies that explicitly restrict business transactions in the private sector. That means the 277,000 regulators they recorded in 2015 didn't include anyone from the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, Defense Department, or the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services — even though these agencies account for roughly one-third of all final rulemaking actions in a typical year."

Even more disconcerting, consider this: Based on a 2014 "Profile of the Military Community" report, federal regulators now outnumber the Marine Corps (187,891 active duty members) and are closing in on the Air Force (312,453) and Navy (321,599). As we've seen, regulators can wreak a lot of economic havoc. Americans' Love-Hate Relationship With Government

Gallup recently polled Americans regarding their views on what sectors of industry they most trusted. The poll showed that two of the most competitive business industries were at the top of the list — restaurants and the computer industry. Interestingly — but not surprisingly — those industries viewed more negatively by Americans are health care and lawyers. However, even these were not viewed as poorly as the last "business" on the list.

Predictably, the industry that the American people least trust is the federal government. A mere 28% of Americans view the federal government positively, with 55% viewing it negatively. Citizens' views of the U.S. government have not been this bad since the 1970s. Under Barack nObama, with the passage of such abysmal laws like nObamaCare and the consistent lack of serious action taken to stem the flow of illegal immigration, more Americans may be feeling like the federal government has become all too intrusive, inefficient and flat out untrustworthy. Ken Salazar, President nObama's disgraced ex-interior secretary and former U.S. senator from Colorado, was named liar-Hillary Clinton's White House transition chair on Monday.

The pick confirms that a liar-Clinton presidency would not only be Barack nObama's third term ideologically, but also culturally. As in the Democratic culture of corruption.

Ken Salazar is a thug. Before stepping down as nObama's interior secretary in 2013 "to spend time with family," Salazar threatened violence against a local Colorado Springs Gazette reporter who had the audacity to challenge one of the ten-gallon hat-wearing bureaucrat's cronyism-tainted deals.

At issue: How rancher and reported Salazar business associate Tom Davis profited handsomely from the Bureau of Land Management's Wild Horse and Burro Program. Not long after Salazar took office, Davis paid $10 each for more than 1,700 federally protected horses who roamed on public lands. He then turned around and sold them for slaughter near the Mexican border for $154,000, despite signing a contract prohibiting him from doing so.

When Gazette reporter David Phillips, now at The New York Times asked about the controversy at an nObama election night event in November 2012, Salazar snapped:

"You know what, never do that. This is a -- this is the nObama -- You know what, if you do that to me again, I'm going to punch you out. OK? Don't ever, ever, from the Gazette or anybody else do that to me again. Set me up. You know?"

Caught on tape by Philipps and another witness, Knuckles Salazar issued an "apology." But neither he nor Davis, who said he had previously hauled cattle for Salazar for years, ever answered for their actions. An Inspector General determined Salazar's department "failed to follow its own policy of limiting horse sales and ensuring that the horses sold went to good homes and were not slaughtered." No penalties, no prosecution, no nothing.

Ken Salazar is a liar. He trampled the rule of law, defied court orders, and doctored scientific conclusions in the name of environmental protection. Have you forgotten? After the BP oil spill in 2010, the nObama White House imposed a radical six-month moratorium on America's entire deepwater drilling industry. The sweeping ban -- inserted into a technical safety document in the middle of the night by nObama's green extremists -- cost an estimated 19,000 jobs and $1.1 billion in lost wages.

The order was supposedly based on recommendations from an expert oil spill panel. But that panel's own members along with the federal judiciary called out nObama's environmental team for misleading the public about the scientific evidence and "contributing to the perception that the government's findings were more exact than they actually were." Salazar and eco czar Carol Browner oversaw the false rewriting of the drilling ban report to completely misrepresent the nObama-appointed panel's own overwhelming scientific objections to the job-killing edict.

Federal judge Martin Feldman in Louisiana blasted the Interior Department for defying his May 2010 order to lift its fraudulent ban on offshore oil and gas drilling in the Gulf. Feldman singled out the Salazar-run agency's culture of contempt and serial "determined disregard" for the law.

"Much to the government's discomfort and this Court's uneasiness," Feldman wrote, Salazar's doctored report was "misleading" and the experts who wrote it called it a "'misrepresentation.' It was factually incorrect." Once again, Salazar evaded accountability despite continued obstruction and repeated refusal to cooperate with nearly 50 public records requests from Congress regarding his post-BP spill decisions.

Ken Salazar hates American consumers and workers. He infamously told the Senate in 2008 that he would refuse emergency drilling requests in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge even if gas prices reached $10 a gallon. He arbitrarily pulled nearly 100 oil leases in Utah -- costing the state thousands of jobs -- based on bogus eco-claims that were refuted by the Interior Department's own inspector general. Offshore and onshore, Salazar waged war relentlessly on the energy sector and the American West.

Ken Salazar is a job-killing, truth-sabotaging, law-skirting, media-bullying corruptocrat who just won't let go of power.

In other words: a perfect headhunter for America's Evita Peron.

The plight of Black voters

Black people themselves put the yoke of "slavery" upon their own necks.

All the major cities in America have their control in the hands of the Liberal Democrats. Control of the Black people by the Democrats is essential to maintain the control of their political domains. Control of Black people...votes by these people...is required to keep political control n the hands of these same Liberal Democrats.

Approximately 90% of Black votes is cast for Democrats. In a city like Chicago there is no other alternative... no Republican or others running for office.

So,Black voters bring this situation upon themselves. Once total control is achieved by the Democrats, the inner cities will never change, and the lives of it's people also.

A sad situation.

Paul Albaugh: Everyone who has had the opportunity to receive a decent education knows that science, in its pure form, requires observation and experimentation in order to reach a sufficient conclusion. It takes individuals with creative minds and a peculiar dedication to a certain subject to find out as much information as possible. Science is also responsible for incredible advancement in civilizations across the globe and has been a primary reason why we now know so much more about our planet, plants and people than ever before.

But what happens when science and politics collude to bring about "settled science" or "new evidence" that is disguised as science? Is it still science, or is it propaganda that uses "science" as an excuse to push for more laws, regulations and control over people?

Unfortunately, there is much snake oil being sold and told as science. Many people have succumbed to believing it without putting any thought into why a known fact has changed or not changed, or why something is bad for you that used to be good for you and vice versa.

There is a political party that is behind much of the so-called science we hear about these days. That of course is the Democrat Party. There is a major problem with the Party of Science™, though, and that is every time science doesn't jive with their worldview, they ditch the evidence.

We have witnessed for quite some time now how everything is hyper-politicized and people are more worried about being politically correct than they are about being correct. Political correctness may very well have led to or at least be leading to a decline in science and if it continues, future generations may not even think to question anything for fear of being reprimanded, humiliated or ostracized from the scientific field.

In fact, it's already happening. One example is Lawrence Summers. His tenure as president of Harvard was cut short because he merely suggested that there might be intellectual differences between men and women. The result of his punishment is that many researchers have held back on their research and have ceased investigating the differences between male and female brains.

What could possibly be wrong with researching and attempting to find differences between male and female brains? Could it be that the scientific research could prove that indeed there is a difference between the sexes — the way they think and feel, and how they are affected under certain circumstances? Why would anyone want to discourage scientists from discovering? Why indeed.

For one thing, we know that there are X chromosomes and Y chromosomes within DNA that biologically determine sex. Yet today some people claim that a person can "identify" as a male or female depending upon how they feel. But true science refutes that claim — and it has for centuries.

What about climate change? We are told by leftists and climate alarmists that fossil fuels are harmful for the environment and that the overuse of them is causing unwanted pollution. And of course the narrative that "we are killing our environment" by fossil fuel use is a major theme. But many scientists say the opposite is true. Alex Epstein, director of the Center for Industrial Progress, has shown that "burning fossil fuels has improved the lives of millions in the developed world by helping solve their biggest environmental challenges, purified their water and air, made their cities and homes more sanitary and kept them safe from potential catastrophic climate change."

Continuing under the mantra of "science," some leftists have proclaimed that climate change is the driving force behind refugees having to relocate. We're all familiar with the terms "global cooling" and "global warming" — now wrapped up under the more malleable term "climate change." Science has proven that, yes, the climate does change. But it has not proven that more government control over emissions will solve anything.

Then there is the science of life, which the Left still denies. Harvesting body parts from babies is immoral and unethical, yet many on the Left insist that it is necessary for the advancement of scientific research. This is proclaimed despite findings that for over 100 years of research on fetal tissue, there have been no medial cures that have been derived from it.

Let's take it further. Leftists are so warped in their view on abortion, that once ultrasound technology revealed that a fetus is actually a living human inside of a woman's body, they changed the abortion debate to being about a woman's "right to choose." You might say they declared, "Get your science off my body!"

Government and science can and should work together when constitutionally permitted, but the object should be to find and reveal the truth, not push a political agenda. The next time you hear the words "settled science," consider the source and look at who or what is behind it. You may be surprised to find that the only thing settled is an ideological goal. ~The Patriot Post

New Critics of Trump

{townhall.com} ~ A year ago, in August 2015, this column called "The Donald" the Democrats' Trump card. It is hard to imagine any other Republican candidate who could rescue a thoroughly discredited liar-Hillary Clinton from a devastating defeat in this year's election.

Now 50 prominent Republicans with foreign policy and national security experience have taken the unprecedented step of publicly and collectively announcing that they cannot vote for Donald Trump because they believe that he would be "the most reckless president in American history."

Why? Not only because he has "demonstrated repeatedly that "he has little understanding" of the nation's "vital national interests" but because "Mr. Trump has shown no interest in educating himself."

Indeed, Donald Trump has shown little real interest in anything besides Donald Trump.

His response to these criticisms has been completely predictable. Trump has not even tried to answer the charges or to assure the American people on something as important as their survival and the survival of this nation. Instead, there is the standard Trump tactic of launching unsubstantiated charges against his critics.

Even if all his charges against his critics were 100 percent true, that is no assurance to the American people on the vital issues they raised-- and for which there are innumerable examples of Trump's own words and deeds to make people worry about what he would do in the White House.

The strongest argument -- indeed, the only argument -- for voting for Trump is liar-Hillary Clinton. For both candidates, the danger is not simply that we might have one bad administration to live through. The far greater danger is that either of them can create an irretrievable catastrophe.

With liar-Hillary Clinton in the White House, there is no question whatever that she will nominate candidates for the Supreme Court who will destroy both the First Amendment right to free speech and the Second Amendment right to armed self-protection. And that will undoubtedly be just the beginning of the dismantling of the Constitution.

liar-Hillary has already announced her desire to have an existing Supreme Court decision -- "Citizens United versus FEC"-- overturned because it said that both corporations and labor unions have a right to free speech.

If the government can make free speech illegal, there is virtually nothing else it cannot do, because people will no longer be free to expose their misdeeds. Mrs. liar-Clinton has a long record of concealing her misdeeds, going back to her husband's administration in Washington, and in Arkansas before that.

Why not vote for Donald Trump then, since he has no known agenda for undermining Constitutional freedoms?

There are few things worse than being deprived of our basic Constitutional rights, on which our freedom ultimately depends. But one of those few things is being deprived of life itself by the reckless decisions of a volatile, ill-informed, immature and self-absorbed President in a nuclear age.

All too many of Donald Trump's words and actions thus far make him a candidate for the title of the oldest man who has never grown up. Nothing he says against his critics can change that.

How did we get into the predicament where our choices for President are narrowed to a candidate who inspires distrust versus a candidate who inspires disgust -- and where both are dangerous?

The Democrats had few, and less promising, candidates at the outset. The Republicans, however, had a number of candidates with substantial achievements.

Republicans opened this game with the stronger hand. But they played that hand into what looks like a defeat at the polls in November -- a defeat not only for Trump but for other Republican candidates tainted by the immature and repellent behavior of the man at the top of the ticket.

One key misstep by the Republican establishment was agreeing, once again, to so-called "debates" in which a stage full of candidates had time for only short and superficial sound bites. Trump was, and is, the king of superficial sound bites.

Will the Republican establishment learn anything from all this? Very unlikely. Smug elites seldom learn.

It's not news that liar-Hillary Clinton's record of defending women who are actually victims of sexual assault does not match up with her public statements on the matter. Israel's demographic suicide?

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ In a surprise move last month, Hamas announced it will be participating in the Palestinian municipal elections in October. The Palestinian Authority’s Fatah leadership greeted Hamas’s announcement with deep and understandable anxiety. Hamas is expected to win control over a significant number, perhaps even a majority of municipal and local governments in Judea and Samaria.

PA leader Mahmoud Abbas whose own fiveyear term in office ended six years ago and his Fatah comrades aren’t the only ones worried. Last week, Yediot Aharonot’s military commentator, Alex Fishman, reported that the IDF’s senior leadership is also deeply concerned.

According to Fishman, in recent weeks Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has held a series of senior-level discussions, initially convened to discuss long-term Israeli strategic options in Judea and Samaria. Due to the IDF’s concerns over the elections, those discussions quickly devolved into a more limited discussion of how to prevent a Hamas electoral victory.

Fishman reported that the top generals have convinced Liberman, who until now supported octogenarian Abbas’s swift retirement, that “it is Israel’s interest not only for Abu Mazen [Abbas] to remain in power, but to empower him still further.”

To this end, according to Fishman, Liberman has agreed to adopt a plan prepared by the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), for Israel to transfer the Civil Administration’s planning and zoning authority in Area C to the PA. The plan also involves retroactively authorizing tens of thousands of Palestinian structures built illegally in Area C and authorizing the construction of a new Palestinian urban center in Area C.

Area C, it should be recalled, constitutes some 60 percent of Judea and Samaria. It has a negligible Palestinian population. All of the Israeli communities are located in Area C. The IDF holds sole security control over the area.

Area C is the only area where the Civil Administration retains governing functions. Areas A and B, where all the major Palestinian population centers are located, have been autonomously governed by the PA for 20 years.

The IDF’s plan is startling on several levels.

Since the earliest years of the Oslo peace process with the PLO, retaining Israeli control over planning and zoning powers in Area C has been a central goal of Israeli policy. Israel’s retention of these powers has enabled the IDF to retain security control over Area C and so defend not only the Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, which are all located in Area C, but to defend Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the rest of Israel’s major urban centers as well.

Why would the IDF recommend conceding these strategic interests just as Hamas is poised to gain significant power in Judea and Samaria? Even more to the point, what is the basis of the IDF’s assessment that by conceding these strategic assets Israel will enhance – let along guarantee – Fatah’s chances of winning in October? For the past 16 years, Israeli concessions have only served to make the Palestinians more contemptuous and hateful toward us.

Consider the case of the Gaza withdrawal. That operation, undertaken 11 years ago this week, was the largest single strategic concession Israel has made to the Palestinians in the past 23 years.

The Palestinians responded to Israel’s forcible expulsion of 10,000 of its citizens, the destruction of their communities and the withdrawal of all its security forces from Gaza by destroying the greenhouses Israel had given them free of charge and torching the synagogues it left behind.

Then five months later, they elected Hamas to lead them.

The actual harm that a Hamas electoral triumph will cause Israel is also completely unrelated to the IDF’s recommended course of action. If Hamas rises to power in various local governments in Judea and Samaria, the change will harm Israel in two ways.

First, in municipalities dominated by Hamas, we can expect for Fatah security forces to stop their anti-Hamas operations. This change will require the IDF to increase the tempo of its counterterror operations.

How will this be facilitated by giving up control over land policy in Area C? Second, with Hamas rising in power in the PA’s bureaucracy, we can expect for the PA to increase the amount of money it transfers monthly to the Hamas regime in Gaza.

To mitigate the damage, Israel will need to aggressively target foreign governmental and NGO funding to the PA in accordance with binding international and domestic terrorism financing statutes.

Here too, Israel’s task has nothing whatsoever to do with permitting the PA to conduct building projects on a massive scale in Area C.

Finally, even disregarding the fact that the IDF’s plan has no relationship whatsoever to the expected consequences of a Hamas electoral victory, it is hard to understand the intrinsic logic of the idea.

Is the IDF suggesting that Israel will give planning and zoning powers to a Hamas dominated PA in Area C? Or is it suggesting that the concession would be contingent on a Fatah victory? If the latter is the case, why do the generals believe that the Palestinians whose hatred for Israel is endemic, will be more likely to vote for Fatah because Israel is tipping the scales in Fatah’s favor? The practical irrelevance and strategic irrationality of the army’s recommended course of action make it hard to avoid the conclusion that the generals went into their meetings with Liberman with the goal of preventing him from developing a relevant strategy for contending with the elections specifically and the Palestinians in general.

Fishman implied that this was the case when he noted that COGAT has been lobbying for two years to give up planning and zoning powers and legalize tens of thousands of illegal Palestinian structures in Area C.

It is no secret that the IDF General Staff continues to support the strategic goal of Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria either in the framework of a peace deal with the PLO, or if necessary with no deal. So it makes sense that they use every perceived crisis as a means to advance this goal, even though both the two-state policy and the unilateral withdrawal policy failed completely years ago.

The main objective motivation for the IDF’s arguably insubordinate behavior is the generals’ desire to avoid dealing with Israel’s demographic challenge. This is a challenge Israel has worked to avoid facing since it ended Jordanian occupation of Judea and Samaria in 1967.

Israel has a dilemma with regards to Judea and Samaria. It needs to control the areas for security reasons. It wishes to control the areas because they are the cradle of Jewish civilization. But it fears retaining control over them because it wishes to retain its massive Jewish majority.

Israelis worry that adding the Palestinians to the population registry will destroy that three quarters majority. If that happens, so the thinking goes, Israel will lose its international legitimacy on the one hand, and end the Zionist dream of Jewish sovereignty on the other.

Regarding the issue of international legitimacy, events over the past 16 years have shown that international sentiment towards Israel is not positively impacted either by Israeli concessions to the Palestinians or by the Palestinians’ open rejection of Israel’s right to exist. To the contrary, ever since the Palestinians rejected statehood in July 2000 and opted for perpetual war with Israel, the level of international support for them has continuously risen, while support for Israel, particularly in the West, has consistently eroded.

This state of affairs indicates that there is no direct correlation, and there may indeed be an indirect correlation between Israel’s international status and its willingness to make territorial concessions to the Palestinians. Consequently, Israel should not take the issue of international legitimacy into account in its strategic discussions of its long-term policy goals in Judea and Samaria.

As for our genuine domestic concerns, the truth is that if adding the Palestinians of Judea and Samaria to Israel’s population registry as permanent residents or citizens destroys Israel’s Jewish majority, then we will need to suffice with something less than complete sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

The problem with determining how to proceed is that we simply don’t know what will happen.

We have no idea how many Palestinians live in Judea and Samaria. All we have are competing unofficial estimations of that number.

The Left ascribes to the demographic doomsday scenario. Based entirely on PA population data, the Left insists that Jews will cease to be the majority west of the Jordan River almost immediately if we aren’t already the minority.

Consequently, leftists charge that anyone who recognizes that the two-state formula and the unilateral withdrawal option have failed is the moral equivalent of an anti-Zionist.

The Right argues that the Palestinian population data are deliberately fabricated. In 2005, the independent American-Israeli Demographic Research Group published its first in-depth assessment of the Palestinian data. That study, and follow- on studies in subsequent years demonstrated that the Palestinians exaggerated their population size by 50 percent, adding some 1.5 million people to their population rolls that simply do not exist.

Based on the AIRDG’s data, and on the fact that Israel’s fertility rates are higher than Palestinian fertility rates in Judea and Samaria, and that Jewish immigration rates to Israel are rising steeply while Palestinian emigration rates remain high, the Right has concluded that far from being a threat, demographics are a strategic asset for Israel.

Unfortunately, none of this is the least helpful to Liberman, or anyone else, frankly. So long as we don’t have official, accepted Israeli data on the size of the Palestinian population, we cannot have a real debate about our strategic options going forward.

And as Liberman insists, we need such a debate.

We need to conduct a reassessment of our relations with the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria regardless of the results of the municipal elections.

To this end, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should appoint a team to find out just how many Palestinians there are, and, no, Israel won’t need to send census workers to knock on doors in Ramallah or Jenin to accomplish this goal. We won’t even need to rely on PA data.

All we need to determine the size of the Palestinian population in Judea and Samaria is a team of researchers capable of analyzing aerial photographs of Judea and Samaria, of interpreting Palestinian electricity and water usage data, and of collecting emigration data from the crossing points to Jordan and from Ben Gurion Airport.

To minimize the danger that the data will be politicized, Netanyahu should appoint representatives of the warring demographic factions to the study group where they will be joined by analysts from the National Security Council.

There are no magic solutions to our problems with the Palestinians. But there are options other than repeating let alone expanding on failed policies.

To develop these options, Israel needs to know the dimensions of the demographic threat.

Queens mosque leader Maulama Akonjee and his companion Thara Uddin were murdered Saturday in New York. A double murder in the nation's largest city might not normally make headlines, but Mayor Bill de Blasio decided to weigh in and make it political. "While we do not yet know the motivation for the murders," de Blasio said, "we do know that our Muslim communities are in the perpetual crosshairs of bigotry."

First of all, was that the case here? Police detained the suspected killer Sunday night, and believe he was settling a score in a feud between Muslims and Hispanics. We suppose there is a festering bigotry in these communities, but it doesn't quite fit the narrative leftists normally tell. Maybe, as with George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, the killer in this case was "white Hispanic."

The nObamaCare Meltdown Continues

Arnold Ahlert: nObamaCare is back in the news — and none of it is good.

Earlier this month, Aetna became the latest of the nation's five largest health insurers to stop expanding its nObamaCare coverage. Just like Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna and Humana, Aetna is projecting significant losses going forward.

It wasn't supposed to be this way. As Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini explained, 2016 was supposed to be a break-even year for the company's nObamaCare business. Yet so far, Aetna has lost $200 million, and expects to hit $320 million in losses by year's end.

Also this month, Anthem, which initially projected nObamaCare success this year, announced it's expecting "mid-single-digit" losses instead, and CEO Joseph Swedish has told investors the company would be looking for substantial premium increases to make up the difference.

In April, UnitedHealthcare, the nation's biggest health insurer, announced that in 2017 it will be leaving most of the state exchanges where it operates. CEO Stephen Hemsley explained the company could no longer serve these exchanges on an "effective and sustained basis." UnitedHealthcare lost $475 million on nObamaCare exchanges in 2015, and could lose another $500 million this year.

In May, Cigna didn't project profits or losses but said it expected customer reductions in its individual business.

In July, Humana also announced that next year they would service "no more" than 11 state exchanges, down from the 19 states where it sold policies in 2016 — following a staggering $1 billion of losses.

Moreover, the Big Five are attempting to become the Big Three. Anthem wants to take over Cigna, and Aetna and Humana want to merge. Both deals are being held up by the Justice Department, courtesy of antitrust lawsuits.

And then there are — or were — the highly vaunted nObamaCare co-ops. Of the 23 initially established, only seven remain, and six of those are currently on "corrective action plans," Kevin Counihan, a top official from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), told lawmakers.

Plenty of predictions were made about the unsustainability of nObamaCare, but an arrogant president and his Democrat Party colleagues who sold a pack of lies to a "stupid" American public refused to listen. Adding insult to injury the media have now "discovered" the law's tragic flaw, as in nagging problems that "seem to center on lower-than-hoped-for enrollment, sicker-than-expected customers, and a balky internal stabilization system that didn't deliver as advertised and was already scheduled to be pared back next year," NBC reported.

The Hill has also come around, reporting, "The next president could be dealing with an nObamaCare insurer meltdown in his or her very first month."

In the meantime, a bubble similar to the one that led to the 2008 stock market meltdown has been created. And once again arrogance was an integral part of the equation. Taking care of sick people is big business, and while it has been bad for the insurance companies it was a boon for large, merging health care systems and consolidating physician groups, initially touted as desirable by one of the law's drafters. Yet as Dr. Thomas McElroy, CEO of Echelon-Health, explains, "[N]o one came around to ask doctors what would happen when the most complicated patients where shuttled to the exchange plans. A small practice can't survive; that's why doctors are being bought up by hospital groups or abandoning insurance altogether for membership groups."

Health insurance expert Joseph Cortelli further notes that all nObamaCare did was mask the problems associated with the reality that 10% of the population drives 80% of claims costs. "Unless government can continue to pump money into these exchanges, the end result is not hard to imagine," he warns.

That pump isn't happening. In October 2015, the CMS announced that its "risk corridor" program, one of the mechanisms whereby profitable nObamaCare insurers would bail out unprofitable insurers, would only pay 12.6% of claims. In February, a lawless administration illegally moved $3.5 billion in taxpayer funds intended for the U.S. Treasury to insurance companies.

Even overt malfeasance helped. In 2016, average premiums were up substantially in most states.

Presidential politics is part of the equation as well. The fourth enrollment period for the law begins one week before the election. Last year, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) didn't release the final rates until October 25. If it does the same this year, people will have only days to find a plan before deciding whether to cast their vote for liar-Hillary Clinton and her "more of the same (or worse) approach, or Donald Trump, who might perhaps move to repeal and replace nObamaCare.

Or, the most lawless administration in American history could do what it did before the 2014 mid-terms: delay the beginning of the enrollment period until after the election.

Bottom line: The fourth enrollment period is make or break time. Absent an unforeseen and substantial enrollment of healthy Americans to offset older, sicker ones, a death spiral of fewer insurers charging increasingly higher rates — and thus driving more Americans out of increasingly unaffordable coverage — will be realized.4

As nice as she looked at her acceptance speech, fake smiles and pretty white pantsuits can’t cover over ugly. The kind of ugly that flows from the inside out. Nice smiles can’t whitewash over grieving Benghazi family members who tell us she lied to them about why those heroes died. They died in a country she and President Barack nObama botched up so bad, the president had to authorize an uptick in U.S.-led attacks against ISIS recently.

We’re told that the woman in a white pantsuit cares. Sure. liar-Hillary showed us how much she cares — about herself and personal convenience rather than our national security — when she broke State Department rules and set up a personal server in her home.

The FBI admitted that liar-Hillary lied to the American people about her emails and then she turned around and lied about what the FBI said about her lies.

Makeovers can’t make over that.

And now WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange just announced another email dump is on the way that he claims will demonstrate that liar-Clinton tried to arm “rebels,” jihadists, in Syria. We’ll wait to see, but two things are pretty certain: liar-Hillary would deny it using infamous liar-Clinton legalese. And the mainstream media would change the subject, introducing newfangled nonsense about why liar-Hillary’s opponent no matter who is unfit for the presidency.

Even if a WikiLeaks dump revealed that the newly released ISIS “hit list” of U.S. soldiers’ information was hacked from information on liar-Hillary’s server, we’ll be told, “There’s nothing to see here; time to move on.”

So much is at stake, reaching far beyond Supreme Court appointment.

Let me count the ways.

It’s pretty obvious that a Donald Trump administration or any Republican administration would make liberals accountable for things the media ignored. Like when the nObama administration was caught spying on U.S. journalists ... or when the Department of Justice targeted political opponents ... or that the Internal Revenue Service denied tax status to conservative groups ... or the Veterans Administration delayed and denied care to veterans.

Surely Both Bill and liar-Hillary Clinton also fear what a Trump presidency might mean, given liar-Hillary’s State Department email saga refuses to go away. Judicial Watch just released almost 300 pages of emails which call into question if there was a relationship between State Department and the liar-Clinton Foundation during her tenure as secretary of state.

To be clear, the recent email scandal isn’t liar-Hillary’s first. As reported by the New York Post in May, as first lady, liar-Hillary was caught up in “Project X.” While investigating scandals to which liar-Hillary was attached like Whitewater, Filegate and Travelgate, investigators discovered that more than a million subpoenaed emails went mysteriously missing.

Surprise, surprise.

Of course, liar-Hillary seemed to blame everything on a “vast right-wing conspiracy” and the Teflon duo to which nothing seems to stick received nothing more than a hand slap.

The smoke’s been rising around liar-Hillary for decades. Even still a nice promotion awaits someone so scandalous, the faithful see her presidency as part of “God’s judgment on America” if she wins.

We’ve heard it said that there can be smoke without fire. Truth is, though, there’s rarely smoke without fire. So, rather than calling for a makeover, liar-Hillary’s handlers should’ve grabbed fire extinguishers and called 911.

Upcoming election

My biggest worry is that the election will be rigged again. Soros's voting machines are programmed to bring out every Trump vote as a Hillary vote. (It happened before...). There should be a republican or Tea-party person in every voting booth to make sure, that if a vote goes in as a Trump vote, it will stay a Trump vote. Each voting machine should be checked to make sure it is not rigged to change the votes. And the republican party bosses should ask, beg everyone to vote, since a non-vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary. Even if people don't like Trump, he is the one we have now, so the party members ALL should vote for him, otherwise they voted for Hillary. We need a republican victory this time, it is the matter of life or death for America. What I like about Trump is, that he was not helped by special interest groups to get the nomination and they will have no control over him, if he wins. Finally, we would have a president who is not in the pocket of the big money political powers. If he can accomplish even just half of the things he talks about, we will be much better off. Even the black population would be much better off with him, since the democratic party did not do anything to make their lives better except to give them the free stuff. And for those food stamps: there should be a community work requirement for every able bodied person, who collects welfare payments, that would help them much sooner to be able to return to the work force, and also it would teach them not to be freeloaders. (they do this in my birth country in Europe and it WORKS). And for those women who have an illegitimate child every year and end up living with more income than families, where both father and mother are working and still can barely make ends meet.... I don't know what is the solution for that, all I know that it is NOT RIGHT.

I grew up in a communist country. We were deprived for our freedom and everything else. So I really did appreciate the freedom we got here and the opportunities.
We never would think of going on welfare or going for food stamps. I did work along with my husband from day one, (and we still raised 3 wonderful children) and we were very grateful for the opportunities we had here to create a good life. We did not become rich, but still had everything we needed, so did our children.

So again, now: the elections.
How can the Republican and the Tea party do everything possible to make sure, there will be no rigged election, and those machines will be working properly. There should be a repub. person in every voting booth, to make sure, that things go properly without cheatings. And ask, beg every republican to go to vote (since Trump will be still better than Hillary). And look at Trump's children, anybody who can raise a bunch of wonderful people like his kids, can't be a very bad person. So even if we would rather had any other republican being the nominee, Trump is the one who was chosen by a majority, so we should stand by him even if we rather would have somebody else there.

Depending on your perspective, the selection of Kellyanne Conway and Stephen Bannon to take over the leadership of a troubled Trump campaign is either the smartest political move ever or merely rearranging the deck chaise on a campaign ship that’s been taking on water.

Conway is a seasoned political operative whose Reaganesque leanings are a clear attempt to reach out to a GOP political base Trump will need despite his protestations. And, as she noted in the Washington Post, one does not reach out with name-calling and ad hominem attacks....

Barry Donadio gave away scores of his book to families and friends of the victims of the TWA Flight 800 crash on July 17th 2016.

Mr. Donadio led events commemorating the 20 year anniversary of the downing of TWA Flight 800 on Long Island. The controversial crash occurred on July 17th 1996. There are still many people with questions as to why the plane crashed. Most people were attending events to remember their loved ones and friends.

Mr. Donadio authored the book "TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account". It was released in September 2013 and has been gaining more interest. The book is about his account of the evening the plane went down. He was an Emergency Medical Technician that responded to the scene of the rescue operations.

Donadio stated " I felt that it was important to remember the victims of the tragedy on the 20th anniversary. I was happy to meet families of some of the victims. We turned the 20th anniversary of a horrible event, into a positive day for all those who attended."

Mr. Donadio led victims families to the TWA Flight 800 Memorial in Shirley, New York as well as the TWA Flight 800 Memorials in East Moriches New York. With the cooperation of the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Moriches, he led the group to the Coast Guard station. The group was able to access the station while Mr. Donadio explained to the group what happened there on the night of July 17th 1996.

In a typical Friday afternoon news dump, liar-Hillary Clinton released her 2015 tax return. As for income, liar-Hillary herself hauled in $1,475,000 in speaking fees, while Bill netted $5,250,000. There was much fanfare in the Leftmedia over the fact that she gave over $1 million of her income to charity. But what about the details of that charitable giving? As usual with the Leftmedia, those details simply don't matter when it comes to liar-Clinton — it's that fact that she gave so much to "charity" that counts. What charity? Well, virtually all of it went to the liar-Clinton Foundation. Yes, liar-Clinton donated to her own foundation, a foundation that exists solely for the purpose of propping up the liar-Clinton political brand. In other words, liar-Clinton has been paying Bill's salary and buying political capital through her foundation.

Couple her "charitable" giving with the recent emails released from Judicial Watch, which strongly indicate that liar-Hillary moonlighted for her foundation while she was secretary of state, and the picture becomes clearer of a woman who has for years been actively organizing and manipulating the system for her own political aims.

Not only have the liar-Clintons donated to their own foundation, but companies that already paid lucrative speaking fees to the liar-Clintons also donated to the foundation. Douglas Becker is CEO of Laureate Education, a for-profit university, which is a major donor to the liar-Clinton Foundation. This past year Laureate paid Bill over $1 million in speaking fees, and that's just the latest in an annual haul for Bill from Laureate. This same Douglas Becker also heads a non-profit called the International Youth Foundation, which received millions from USAID in 2010. USAID is a wing of the State Department. Some of Milwaukee's finest Demo urban poverty plantation inhabitants, in the wake of a justified police shooting of an armed thug, spent the weekend finding cars with white motorists to assault. Still another rioter shouts, "He white! Beat his s—, bi—!"

They were further incited by Demo plantation manager and city Alderman Russell Stamper, who justified the protests, saying, "Our people are hurting."

He then quoted a text from one of his cohorts: "I don't know WTF we are going to do, but we gotta do something ... when the people start setting s— on fire, that's because they feel like they can't do anything else. ... They don't give a f— about politics."

Another alderman, Khalif Rainey, protested that the anarchy was a "warning cry" for a city he apparently hates: "The black people of Milwaukee are tired — they are tired of living under this oppression."

Prior to the festivities, Milwaukee PD was already dealing with five murders Friday night.

However, unlike with the Black Lives Matter folks in Baltimore, who were paid off by Mayor Stephanie "Glossy Lips" Rawlings-Blake, Milwaukee's Sheriff David Clarke is not going to put up with their anti-social crap.

You Beg to Get Them Back

{townhall.com} ~ Republican political consultant Mike Madrid isn't used to getting calls from the ACLU, and yet he has found himself working with the civil liberties group because some practices are so egregious that Republicans and Democrats should have no trouble finding common cause. The issue is civil asset forfeiture -- also known as "policing for profit." The federal government can seize your property, and the only way you can get it back is to prove you are not guilty of a crime. California law prohibits local authorities from permanently seizing most property without a conviction, but there's a loophole in the law -- called "equitable sharing." Local police can seize your property, hand jurisdiction over the feds, and get rewarded with up to 80 percent of the goodies even if prosecutors fail to convict -- or even charge -- an offender.

"There are very few things in Sacramento that are this cut and dry," quoth Madrid. Americans fought the British in the Revolutionary War in order to guarantee due process and the presumption of innocence. "If you were not convicted," Madrid noted, "people shouldn't be taking your stuff."

With that reasoning in mind, Madrid began working for the passage of Senate Bill 443, introduced by state Sen. Holly Mitchell, D-California, to curb "equitable sharing" abuses. She was spurred by a Drug Policy Alliance report on the civil asset forfeiture abuses. While supporters talk about the practice as a tool to defund drug cartels, the report found that on average, the seizures were small change. San Diego attorney Loan T. Shillinger told me many of her clients are small-business owners who drive with cash in the car. Mitchell recalls a food-truck driver who had $10,000 when police asked to search his car. He had nothing to hide. Next thing he knew, he had to hire a lawyer if he wanted his money back. Many people in his situation are shocked to discover the government can treat law-abiding people under the assumption that they are guilty.

SB443 was a good cause, and so it sailed even through the dysfunctional swamp known as the Legislature. It sped through state Senate committees and passed the Senate with an overwhelming 38 out of 40 votes last year.

Then came "the badges," as Madrid put it. Mitchell put it another way, "It was as if I put my hand in their entitled cookie jar." California law enforcement came down hard on lawmakers from both parties. The California District Attorneys Association opposed SB443, director of legislation Sean Hoffman told me, because it was "overly broad" and "would have really crippled asset forfeiture in California" and hampered prosecutors ability to go after "large drug operations." Support melted away. By the time SB443 reached the Assembly floor, only 24 members voted "aye" and 44 opposed it. Like cockroaches, 12 members skittered away from voting entirely.

Law enforcement soon learned that it had won the kind of legislative victory that leaves a public relations stain on the victors. The mere consideration of the measure aired stories of high-profile abuses -- such as when prosecutors have used asset forfeiture to seize buildings from landlords of a medical marijuana dispensary.

Both sides had an incentive to work together. On Thursday, the Assembly voted to amend SB443. Absent a guilty verdict, locals can only get a cut when more than $40,000 in cash has been seized. Locals still will get no percentage of property seizures without a guilty verdict. The district attorneys now are neutral on the measure. Expect SB443 to pass in the Assembly soon.

Until then, consider the words of Daisy Vieyra of the American Civil Liberties Union: "It can happen to anyone, that's the frightening part."

Mitchell told me that, as she listened to public comments about her bill, she realized "it could have been me." Her late mother had a fondness for casino gambling. Every year Mitchell would drive her mother to Las Vegas for a weekend with one-armed bandits. The two would drive home with cash -- two African-American women in a "high-profile" automobile with smiles on their faces. They didn't do anything wrong, but under the current system, their holdings would be presumed guilty.

Who do the "moderates" and the progressives want us to vote for?

In much of the MSM we're being told that that it's almost immoral to vote for Donald Trump. So let's look at the choices we're faced with.

The Donald may well be a narcissist and a bully; someone who isn't a true conservative constitutionalist or Republican. He's an admitted influence peddler (briber) with government officials and other nations. Of course for daring to try in business he's had some spectacular failures. And yes, he's had a wandering eye. But like it or not, I favored Dr. Carson, he's the GOP nominee.

So who would liberals, progressives, and socialists have us conservatives, constitutionalists, and libertarians vote for? Considering the next president will appoint many federal judges, including two or three to the supreme Court, which saintly untainted morally scrupulous person do they demand we support?

Would it be a person who lionized the far Left socialist Saul Alinsky who wanted to tear down the USA? Someone who hid records about Whitewater? Someone who was dismissed for unethical conduct from the Democrat committee planning to impeach Nixon? A woman who had government agencies harass women who were molested and raped by her husband? Would it be a woman who lied about a man she may have had an affair with and who wound up a "suicide"? And what of the other myriad of deaths of political enemies or threats surrounding her and her husband? Would it be someone who stole government property from the White House and AF1 thinking she had a right to it?

While in the government would it be a women who denied an ambassador's request for more security and even reduced it so as not to expose an illegal gun running operation to enemies of the US? Would it be a woman who stood by while a stand down order was given to rescue Americans under attack at a diplomatic mission? Would it be someone who lied about the cause of the attack on the mission and to the families of those who lost loved ones? Is it someone who has used her family's foundation as a pay to play doorway to government largess? Would it be someone who intentionally was grossly negligent, at best, in handling classified communications by using an unauthorized email server and lied under oath to Congress about it?

By the way, just what is racism? Is it saying that Mexico is sending not only poor, uneducated, and often criminal citizens from its own country but also from S. Central and South America by the trainloads and that it must be stopped? Is it saying that we should not allow people of certain groups whose religion Islam is actively hostile to Western values and system and whose regions are in turmoil? Is it saying that we should vet those coming into our country to see if they really want to become part of the Great American Experiment? Is saying that the first duty of our government as a sovereign nation is to protect our borders and the second duty to protect the right of citizens? Is that racial and ethnic bigotry? Or does open mindedness and morality demand open borders and national suicide?

In short, should we vote for a socialist pathological prevaricator, adulterer, rapist enabler, country-imperiling globalist TRAITOR?

Vindication for Voter ID

This week featured mostly good news on the voter ID front. We begin with Texas, where last month the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals criticized the state's voter ID requirements — which they viewed as prejudice against minorities — and ordered a lower court to revise and remedy the law. On Wednesday, a compromise was reached. The words "soften" and "weaken" were almost universally reported in newspaper headlines — an accurate description, to be sure. But it's equally important to note, as Heritage Foundation fellow Hans von Spakovsky does, that this "is probably about the best deal Texas could expect to get given the circumstances and personalities in the case." He explains:

"[T]he parties have agreed that Texas voters who don't have one of the acceptable photo IDs under the statute will still be able to vote if they: 'present a valid voter registration certificate, a certified birth certificate, a current utility bill, a bank statement, a government check, a paycheck, or any other government document that displays the voter's name and an address and complete and sign a reasonable impediment declaration.' ... Texas actually managed to get better terms than either North or South Carolina since, in addition to completing a 'reasonable impediment' declaration, the voter will have to show some kind of document such as a utility bill or bank statement with his name and address."

Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals stayed a ruling by District Court Judge Lynn Adelman, who objected to and subsequently nullified that state's voter ID mandate. The appeals court declared: "We conclude both that the district court's decision is likely to be reversed on appeal and that disruption of the state's electoral system in the interim will cause irreparable injury." This case is independent of a similar one involving District Court Judge James Peterson, but let's hope Peterson is similarly berated.

Finally, for those wondering why we need voting laws, consider the case of Olivia Lee Reynolds of Dothan, Alabama, who along with two other people conspired to rig a municipal election by falsely tallying votes. A jury found Reynolds culpable last year and she was ultimately sentenced to probation. Despite pleading guilty, Reynolds went through the appeals court seeking to have her sentencing overturned. Last week, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals denied her request.

Keep in mind, it's almost impossible to convict of voter fraud. Prosecutors just happened to find one needle in a haystack. Last August, Barack nObama asserted, "[A]lmost nobody wakes up saying, 'I'm going to go vote in somebody else's name.' Doesn't happen. So the only reason to pass [voter ID] law[s], despite the reasonableness of how it sounds, is to make it harder for folks to vote." Michael Swartz: Political favors are nothing new, so the allegation that liar-Hillary Clinton greased the skids for a number of shady characters and hangers-on while she was running the State Department should not be surprising. (She is a liar-Clinton, after all.) So when we learned that Judicial Watch uncovered more emails that provide hard evidence liar-Hillary was engaged in buying and selling political favors as secretary of state — messages somehow missed when she insisted all of her private server emails were accounted for — well, it's par for the course.

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton says the emails reveal "the State Department and the liar-Clinton Foundation worked hand in hand in terms of policy and donor effort." And nObama's Justice Department is happy to look the other way. Three FBI field offices sought an investigation earlier this year, but were rebuffed because of a preliminary finding last year. Then again, other reports are that there are multiple ongoing investigations, at least one based in New York City...

Of course, Americans already find liar-Hillary to be untrustworthy, so the additional charge that the DOJ blocked a probe into the workings of the liar-Clinton Foundation isn't going to improve or worsen the perception of "Crooked liar-Hillary."

CNN's Jake Tapper knows this. "This [email release] does feed into the narrative out there that the liar-Clintons in general don't think that the rules apply to them, and can't understand why anybody would ever question their ethics or their integrity," said Tapper. "This is exactly what the nObama transition team in 2008 wanted to avoid. They wanted a clear delineation between the foundation and the State Department."

In fact, these emails prove an ongoing "pay-to-play" pattern at the liar-Clinton Foundation State Department. The most recently revealed group of emails came from liar-Hillary's longtime associate Huma Abedin, and they showed that those who had access to the liar-Clinton Foundation were quick to ask for assistance in a number of areas: securing employment for an associate of liar-Clinton Foundation official Doug Band as someone who is "important to take care of," as well as for a friend of Lana Moresky, who is described as a "major liar-Clinton fundraiser"; arranging meetings between a high-dollar Nigerian donor named Gilbert Chagoury and former ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman to advance Chagoury's business interests; or helping to shape our policy with China to benefit the Wall Street firm Morgan Stanley, thanks to its Asian Chairman Stephen Roach, another major donor. While liar-Hillary couldn't come up with a proper "reset" button for the Russians, it appears she did have time to set up those connected with the liar-Clinton Foundation — and keep her husband busy in a very lucrative manner.

Naturally, those with the most vested interest in a liar-Hillary presidency shrugged this off as a "move on, nothing to see here" moment. liar-Clinton surrogate and onetime Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm told CNN, "I wasn't in the State Department at the time. But I do know that she has abided by the ethics agreement she signed at the beginning, which was not to take any action on the part of the State Department that mixed [liar-Clinton] Foundation business."

Actually, it's pretty clear that liar-Hillary broke her pledge (i.e., she lied). But not to worry; State Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau says, "I'd note that former Secretary liar-Clinton's ethics agreement did not preclude other State Department officials from having contact with liar-Clinton Foundation staff." Translation: liar-Clinton's pledge didn't apply to her staff.

Not only was liar-Hillary still involved with the liar-Clinton Foundation, but, while acting as secretary of state, liar-Clinton offered favors to big money foundation donors, effectively making the State Department an extension of her foundation.

More troubling, though, is what may have been revealed by the 30,000 emails liar-Hillary deleted before they could be turned over for the various ongoing probes into her activities. That's right — this smoking gun was either one she and her staff missed in their mass deletions, or it's one they didn't mind being found. (There's also the possibility that the Russians or Chinese possess some of liar-Clinton's email, or other shadowy groups that contribute to the WikiLeaks site.) Those in the know aren't talking, perhaps mindful of the oddly numerous premature deaths among those in line to spill the beans on liar-Hillary.

liar-Hillary Clinton Short-Circuited?

{townhall.com} ~ When former Secretary of State liar-Hillary Clinton was asked last week if she has misled the American people on the issue of her failure to safeguard state secrets contained in her emails, she told my Fox News colleague, Chris Wallace, that the FBI had exonerated her. When pressed by Wallace, she argued that FBI Director James Comey said that her answers to the American people were truthful.

After liar-Clinton recognized that even her strongest supporters doubted her statement, she attempted to walk it back. In doing so, she repeatedly lied again, but offered as an excuse a bizarre claim that she had "short-circuited" her answer.

Who knows what that means? She claimed that she and Wallace were talking over each other and her answer had been misunderstood and misconstrued. Yet, liar-Clinton said that Comey exonerated her as being "truthful" to the public when in fact he stated that she had been truthful during her three-hour, closed-door, unrecorded interview with the FBI.

liar-Clinton told a group of largely pro/liar-Clinton journalists that she had short-circuited her remarks. Then, she acknowledged that Comey had only referred to whatever she told the FBI as being truthful. Then, she lied again, by insisting that she told the FBI the same things she has told the press and the public since this scandal erupted in March 2015.

But that cannot be so, because she has issued a litany of lies to the press and to the public, which the FBI would have caught. In her so-called clarifying remarks, she again told journalists her oft-stated lie about returning all work-related emails to the State Department. She could not have told that to the FBI because Director Comey revealed in July that the FBI found "thousands" of unreturned work-related emails on her servers, some of which she attempted to destroy.

On the state secrets issue, she has told the public countless times that she never sent or received anything marked classified. She could not have said that to the FBI, because even a novice FBI agent would have recognized such a statement as a trick answer. Nothing is marked "classified." The markings used by the federal government are "confidential" or "secret" or "top secret." When Director Comey announced last month that the FBI was recommending against indictment, he revealed nevertheless that his agents found 110 emails in 52 email threads containing materials that were confidential, secret or top secret.

The agents also found seven email chains on her servers that were select access privilege, or SAP. SAP emails cannot be received, opened or sent without knowing what they are, as a special alphanumeric code, one that changes continually, must be requested and employed in order to do so. SAP is so secret that the FBI agents investigating liar-Clinton lacked access to the code.

Could liar-Clinton have legally received, opened, stored or sent a secret or top secret email without knowing it, as she has claimed? In a word: NO.

That's because, on her first day in office, liar-Clinton swore under oath that she recognized her legal obligation to recognize state secrets and treat them according to law -- that is, to keep them in a secure government venue -- whether they are marked as secrets or not.

This past weekend, we learned how deadly the consequences of liar-Clinton's failure to secure secrets can be.

Last Sunday, Iran executed a scientist who sold Iranian nuclear secrets to the U.S. The secrets were eventually passed on to Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry for his use during the negotiations that led to the recent U.S.-Iran nuclear accord. But the sale of the secrets and the U.S.'s payments for them (several million dollars) were consummated under then-Secretary liar-Clinton's watch. The scientist was lured back to Iran, fearing harm to his family. Upon his return, he was arrested, tried and convicted of treason.

One email sent to liar-Clinton, from Richard Morningstar, a former State Department special envoy for Eurasian energy, referred to this scientist as "our friend." The fact that liar-Clinton's aides referenced this spying scientist as "our friend" shows a conscious awareness of their duty to hide and secure state secrets -- his name and what he had done for the U.S. Yet, at the same time, liar-Clinton put these state secrets at risk by having them sent to her via her nonsecure home servers. This "our friend" email was a top-secret email, which liar-Clinton failed to keep secure. It was either one of the 110 that the FBI found on her servers or one of the work-related emails she did surrender.

Could this email have been used as evidence in the treason trial of the now-executed scientist?

That is not an academic question. Most of the intelligence community seriously mistrusts liar-Clinton, as her recklessness has jeopardized their work. Some feared that many of their undercover colleagues were compromised or even killed due to liar-Clinton's emails.

liar-Hillary Rodham Clinton has established a clear and unambiguous record of deception. Her deceptions are not about the time of day or the day of the week; they are about matters material to her former job as Secretary of State and material to national security.

Evidence continues to show that fracking is not just financially beneficial, but safe. In 2014 the Institute for Energy Research reported findings estimating a high-end energy cost relief of a remarkable $248 billion in 2013 as a direct result of fracking. Meanwhile, in April, yet another study failed — as myriad other studies have — to link fracking to environmental contamination (naysayers, by the way, tried desperately to conceal this).

These facts alone are enough to raise serious questions about why ecofascists have launched an assault on fracking, a technology they supported before it became a concrete solution to the world's purported environmental calamities. But there's another area fracking benefits that garners hardly any attention, though it should for those who claim to be concerned about the greenhouse gas effect. The Energy Information Administration says carbon dioxide emissions are currently on pace to hit a 24-year low in the United States, according to the Washington Examiner:

Carbon emissions from fossil fuels are projected to be less than 5.2 billion metric tons this year, the lowest since 1992, said Adam Sieminski, the head of the Energy Information Administration, the Energy Department's statistical and analysis arm. "The drop in CO2 emissions is largely the result of low natural gas prices, which have contributed to natural gas displacing a large amount of coal used for electricity generation," he said, commenting on the agency's latest monthly energy forecast released Tuesday.

This should be welcome news for the International Olympic Committee considering it approved Rio's making a big deal of CO₂ and "climate change" at Friday's opening ceremonies. Actually, America is doing just great. But Brazil sure could use some work — starting with less deforestation and cleaning up its junk-ridden water. -The Patriot Post

Allyne Caan: From the administration that's squandered seven years of opportunity to mend racial divides — scratch that; the administration that's fomented racial divides — comes a new report that threatens to drive the wedge of racial tension even deeper. This week, Barack nObama's Social Justice™ Department issued a report concluding that the Baltimore Police Department is systemically racist. Not facing occurrences of racism. Not occasionally having some officers display racist actions. Downright racist — the whole department.

The Associated Press, which is more than happy to perpetuate the Left's racial grievance narrative, reports, "With startling statistics, a federal investigation of the Baltimore Police Department documents in 164 single-spaced pages what black residents have been saying for years: They are routinely singled out, roughed up or otherwise mistreated by officers, often for no reason."

Certainly, it would be naïve to claim racism doesn't exist or that all cops are saints — but categorically declaring the police department of an entire major city as the KKK in blue suggests there's more to the story than the so-called "startling" statistics.

Indeed, when you consider what's missing from the report from this 15-month federal investigation, the statistics may seem more selective than startling. For example, while the investigation was prompted by the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody, the Washington Post notes that "Justice Department investigators did not focus ... on Gray's death in particular. That is part of a separate, ongoing federal investigation. Instead, they assessed generally how police do their jobs in Baltimore."

You'll recall that all six Baltimore officers involved in the Gray case were either acquitted or had charges thrown out, despite the city's settling with Gray's family for an astounding $6.4 million. That notwithstanding, the city's mayor was cheered as she gaveled in the Democrat National Convention last month.

Nevertheless, the city's police are racist. This is strikingly similar to Ferguson, Missouri, where the Justice Department cleared police officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown yet still concluded Ferguson's police are racist all the same.

Also intriguing, to say the least, is that numbers provided by the Baltimore Police Department showed more than half of the city's active duty police officers are minorities — black, Hispanic, Asian or Native American — including more than half of the city's police officers with the rank of captain and higher.

What is the Justice Department really getting at by targeting the department with accusations of racism? In the end, like everything Barack nObama does, this is about one thing: control. As Jazz Shaw observes, "In perhaps the most chilling section of the account, the Attorney General is said to be seeking a court-enforceable consent decree to force the police agency to commit to improving its procedures in order to avoid a lawsuit. ... Local policing, traditionally under the control of the state or municipal government, will be met with lawsuits brought against these same local entities if Washington doesn't approve of their performance."

Yes, Baltimore, you must now conform to the federal government's dictates — or else.

Of course, this shouldn't surprise anyone. This is the same federal government that wants to control kids' education, make neighborhoods comply with federal racial quotas, dictate Americans' health care, force nuns to pay for contraception and abortion, require schools to let boys in girls' locker rooms... and the list goes on.

Just like community policing, all of these are either local, state, or "none of the government's business" issues. But when it comes to control, Washington recognizes no boundaries.

Meanwhile, following nObama's pattern of attacking the men and women in blue who keep us safe every day, liar-Hillary Clinton isn't even trying to earn the endorsement of the National Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 335,000 members. The union's president rightly observed that this "sends a powerful message" — and not a good one.

It seems the Left's new hallmark is opposing the members of the Thin Blue Line who, despite the snub, continue putting their lives on the line, even for those who least appreciate it. -The Patriot Post

Bedeviling Choice

That’s the essential question here. liar-Hillary and the Donald reflect us — and we don’t like what we see. This year we tend not to ask “Who are you voting for?” so much as “Who are you voting against?”

Leaked emails confirm the Democrat National Committee steered the nomination toward liar-Hillary and away from Sanders. They also confirm an incestuous relationship between Democrats and Mainstream Media. Both phenomena were long suspected but the emails are proof in black and white.

Republican leaders never hid their dismay as Trump won primaries. They maneuvered openly to deny him the nomination but failed. Trump got a record number of popular votes and won legitimately. liar-Hillary also got more votes than her opponents, but Sanders supporters ask themselves if his momentum might have carried him past liar-Hillary had the DNC had not covertly worked against him early on. We’ll never know.

Ordinary voters in both parties were dissatisfied with leadership, but only Republicans got a “change” candidate while Democrats got an old battle ax. Lately, however, Republicans feel buyer’s remorse as Trump repeatedly trips over his own tongue. liar-Hillary has political experience and it shows. She is focused and on message as the general election campaign proceeds.

With zero experience, Trump is neither. Every day he gives the hostile mainstream media more arrows to shoot at him. While he bleeds in the polls, Republicans like Ted Cruz, Susan Collins, and Ben Sasse grab life jackets and jump ship. They’re not facing reelection this year but others are. Party leader Mitch McCon-nell said he’ll understand if they want to grab their life jackets and jump too.

Aside from refusing to release his tax returns, Trump is an open book. He eschews teleprompters and speaks his mind day after day. That novel approach appealed to voters in the primaries but it’s sinking him in the general. It’s still ten weeks to election day, and that’s an eternity in politics, but it’s not looking good for him. She sticks to script while he shoots from the lip.

liar-Hillary has been caught in lie after lie, but the mainstream media virtually ignore them. Trump says dumb things almost every other day and they focus on him instead. nObama’s “Justice” Department protects liar-Hillary too, but fears more email leaks showing the liar-Clinton Family Foundation as more a money laundering operation and political slush fund than a charity. That could still sink her. If the electorate starts seeing her and Bill’s quarter million dollar “speaking fees” as bribes and payoffs, her polls could flip quickly. She’s a smooth and practiced liar as I personally witnessed last December when I had a 15-minute exchange with her. Lies roll off her tongue effortlessly and she’s been skating away from accountability for decades.

“The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t,” goes the idiom. We know what liar-Hillary will do if she gets in so she would be the devil we know. We’re not sure what Trump would do. He’s been all over the political map during the past thirty years and it’s hard to tell, so he’s the devil we don’t know.

Trump, my least-favorite of the Republicans who ran, is one of the few candidates I didn’t get a chance to interview this election cycle. He says he’s pro-life, pro 2nd Amendment, wants to beef up the military and enforce immigration law — all good, but he used to think differently on some of those issues and has not explained why he changed. He never spoke of reducing the size of government either.

Trump did release a list of judges he would appoint to the Supreme Court — all strict constructionists. The four liberals on the court do not feel bound by the Constitution and would rely on foreign law. One, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, advised Egypt not to use the US Constitution as a model. I was more appalled, however, when Reagan-appointed Appeals Court Judge Richard Posner said: “[T]he original Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the post–Civil War amendments (including the 14th), do not speak to today… I’m not … particularly interested in the text of the Constitution. I don’t believe that any document drafted in the 18th century can guide our behavior today.” liar-Hillary would appoint more like these.

If you’ve ever said: “This is a free country and I can do what I want,” remember: that’s true only because of the Constitution — especially the Bill of Rights. Primarily, however, the Constitution is a document that says to government: “you have these powers only and no more.” It was designed to prevent the federal government from becoming the behemoth it is.

To preserve the Constitution at least, I plan to vote for Trump, the devil I don’t know.

Nuance is seemingly lost on the Leftmedia — at least that's what they act like when challenged by statements that cut to the root of a leftist cause. Case in point is Donald Trump's recent statement, "liar-Hillary wants to abolish ... essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, [there's] nothing you can do, folks." The media went into attack mode, calling Trump's statements false by pointing to the fact that liar-Hillary Clinton has never publicly said that she wants to abolish the Second Amendment. Technically, that's true. But it's also abundantly clear that liar-Hillary is no friend to our sacred right to keep and bear arms.

According to her policy adviser Maya Harris, "liar-Clinton believes [the 2008 Supreme Court ruling in] Heller was wrongly decided in that cities and states should have the power to craft common sense laws to keep their residents safe." liar-Clinton has deliberately misinterpreted the Heller ruling, which clarified that the Second Amendment protects the right of individuals to keep and bear arms; a right which city and state governments are not free to take away. Heller did not invent a right, as did leftists' favorite abortion and same-sex marriage decisions. Recall just last year at a town hall meeting in Keene, New Hampshire, liar-Hillary opined that she'd be willing to consider gun control methods similar to those used in Australia, which banned certain guns and initiated a government mandated gun buy-back program. What kind of Second Amendment support is that?

liar-Hillary's views on the right of individuals to own firearms would make the most ardent anti-gun nut proud. She has said that arming people is not an appropriate response to terrorism. She supports reversing laws that protect gun manufactures — "let them be sued." liar-Clinton favors a national gun registry and creating more ways to limit access to firearms.

It is clear, though the Leftmedia seeks to deny it, that liar-Clinton desires to so restrict the Second Amendment — via legislation or likeminded judges — as to make it essentially a dead letter. Oh, she'll never publicly call for the repeal of the Second Amendment, not so long as she can say she supports it while at the same time seeking to undermine it by pushing for restrictive "common sense" laws. Judicial Watch has released more liar-Hillary Clinton emails obtained through the Freedom of Information Act that indicate liar-Clinton did not abide by her promise to not take action on behalf of the liar-Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of state. These emails bring greater clarity to what has long been known — that liar-Hillary did indeed use her influence as secretary of state to establish essentially a "pay-to-play" scheme between her "charitable" foundation and individuals seeking to gain greater access and influence with U.S. policymakers.

One example: Bill liar-Clinton's staffer asked liar-Hillary Clinton's staffer to set up a meeting between a U.S. ambassador and a Foundation donor, who by the way was a felon. Former liar-Clinton adviser Dick Morris calls that a "closed loop" and a "smoking gun" that rebuts any assertion liar-Clinton did not engage in pay-to-play behavior.

Recall that in 2009 liar-Clinton pledged to remove herself from any liar-Clinton Foundation business while she served in official capacity. Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, had this to say: "The State Department and the liar-Clinton Foundation worked hand in hand in terms of policy and donor effort. There was no daylight between the two under Mrs. liar-Clinton, and this was contrary to her promise."

And the nObama Justice Department blocked an investigation into the Foundation, because he'd rather not answer those questions.

There is no doubt — and no surprise — that liar-Hillary moonlighted for the liar-Clinton Foundation, breaking her promise. But what about what we don't know from the 30,000 emails that she and her staff selected for deletion? What other crimes or corruption did she cover up? Those emails are gone; the FBI does not have them. So in that sense, it's astounding that there is a smoking gun at all.

The Pipeline’s Approved
Environmentalists Are Angry

{townhall.com} ~ Final federal approval for what is being called the “new Keystone” came from the Army Corps of Engineers on July 26—allowing the pipeline to move forward. The 1,168-mile long Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), also called the Bakken Pipeline, is comparable in length to the Keystone XL. It will cross four states and carry 450,000 barrels of oil a day from North Dakota to a transfer terminal in Illinois where it will connect with other pipelines and be taken to refineries.

The $3.8 billion dollar project has pitted environmentalists against economic interests.

During the Keystone fight, outspoken opponent Jane Kleeb, founder of Bold Nebraska, said: “In America we should be focused on making sure that the oil in North Dakota, Oklahoma, and others, in Montana, that oil is getting to market.” Now, thanks to DAPL, America’s oil will have a safer way to get “to market”—freeing up as many as 750 train cars a day to transport corn, soybeans, and grain. However, as soon as DAPL came on the scene, they moved the marker, and environmental opposition was mounted. Bold Iowa, a group that shares a website with Kleeb’s Bold Nebraska, says it has members willing to risk arrest in “nonviolent protests.” They are also training monitors to report any environmental violations or hazards.

On August 1, nine pieces of heavy equipment—excavators and bulldozers—were set on fire at three different DAPL construction sites, causing $3 million in damage. At the time of this writing, no arrests have been made. Additionally, protestors have gathered on the grounds of the North Dakota Capitol, calling for Governor Jack Dalrymple and legislators to put a halt to construction of the pipeline until their lawsuits are addressed.

On its “Stop the Bakken Pipeline” page, the Iowa Sierra Club posted: “A new pipeline will delay the US transition to clean and renewable energy and more fuel-efficient vehicles. The United States needs to move away from fossil fuel extractions and to energy sources that have less impact on climate change.”

The Club’s position sounds a lot like liar-Hillary Clinton’s. When she finally came out against Keystone, she said: “We need to be transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy.” She called the pipeline “a distraction from important work we have to do on climate change.”

Opposition, however, is not as broad-based as the environmental groups had hoped for. At an April meeting of the Bakken Pipeline Resistance Coalition in Iowa, organizers were disappointed. Chairs were set up for 200, but only about 40 “trickled in.” In the four states the pipeline will cross, more than 90 percent, on average, of the landowners signed the voluntary easement agreements.

At its peak, the DAPL’s construction is expected to involve as many as 4000 workers in each state and will require the purchase of $200 million in American-made heavy construction and related equipment from Caterpillar, Deere, and Vermeer.

Cory Bryson, Business Agent for Laborers Local 563 reports: “We’ve been inundated with calls from all over the country from people wanting to work on this pipeline project. Mainline pipeline projects like Dakota Access provide excellent working opportunities for our members and tremendous wages. The Laborers excel at this work.” No wonder men and women want to travel to the pipeline’s locale, some workers, most without college degrees, brag about banking $2-5000 a week.

In Illinois, the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce has assembled hundreds of packets with information including restaurants, health-care facilities, RV sites, and Laundromats. Executive Director Lisa Musch reports that her office has been receiving calls for months from people looking for rental properties. Teriann Gutierrez, owner of Buena Vista Farms, a resort-campground, and a retired plastics engineer, says: “I’ve been full since the beginning of April.” She told me the boost in population is bringing a lot of money into the community that has been hit hard with the loss of manufacturing jobs. DAPL is putting a lot of local people to work. Gutierrez is very thankful as the boom means she’ll be able to pay down debt.

“Like any major construction project, the DAPL will create, and more importantly maintain, high paying American jobs throughout the supply chain and throughout the nation,” North Dakota’s at-large Congressman Kevin Cramer said. “I’ve seen the crews that work on building the line and they take great pride in their craft. They spend money in local, usually rural, communities throughout the route. The steel suppliers and equipment manufacturers and distributors are just a few of the links in the chain. Everybody from fry cooks to hotel owners to financers are affected. Perhaps, most importantly, in a low price crude market, the economics of moving oil by the most efficient and safe manner possible preserves jobs on the production side of the equation as well.”

While DAPL is already creating lots of jobs, it is just one of many pipeline projects in the works that could be bringing much needed economic development to other communities and high-paying jobs for American workers. Gutierrez explained that, according to the workers staying at Buena Vista Farms: “The hardest thing is getting the permits. The long process holds up jobs.” Apparently, many of them made reservations but, then, had to delay them—and delay starting to work on the pipeline—because the permits hadn’t been approved as expected. It doesn’t have to be that way. Under President nObama, permitting for oil-and-gas activity has been slow-walked. Jobs have been held up.

Donald Trump has made clear that he’ll support pipelines and said he’ll invite TransCanada to reapply for the Keystone permit. On the other side, liar-Clinton opposed Keystone and supports moving away from fossil fuels. Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry, liar-Clinton’s successor, has implied that with “some 300 pipelines” we really don’t need any more. He said: “it’s not as if we’re pipeline-less.” A liar-Clinton administration would likely extend the nObama delay tactic.

Whichever candidate wins in November will appoint agency heads who support his or her views—thus driving the policy direction.

Like Gutierrez, union members are grateful for the jobs. Last week, Dave Barnett, Pipeline Representative for the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry, told me: “We are pleased that the thousands of job opportunities associated with these projects are being decided on their need and merits, not on political pressures by extremists as the Keystone XL was.”

Whether the thousands of additional job opportunities materialize depends on American voters. Will we vote for pipelines that fuel the American economy and transport our natural resources safely and cheaply? Or, will we block job creation and economic development by voting with the environmentalists who want to “keep it in the ground?” In less than 100 days, we’ll have the answer to these important questions.

American voters seem too busy for watching, listening, and learning in becoming more informed on candidates addressing multiple important issues. Voters are choosing candidates based on near singular issues.

It appears a lawless President and his appointees refuse to live, practice, and enforce our Constitution, US Code, and other laws and regulations.

Members of our Judiciary are enforcing our Constitution based on personal beliefs; rather than as inscribed with reinforced deliberations within our Founding Fathers.

President Obama, AG, Loretta Elizabeth Lynch, and FBI Director "Jim" Comey appear to all be polluted with political malpractice; practicing outside the laws and common-sense.

President Obama’s, Attorney General Lynch’s, and FBI Director Comey’s failures to investigate and prosecute criminal activity within Hillary Clinton’s corrupt service as Secretary of State, as well as within the Clinton Foundation, are political frauds.

Each of these corrupted individuals must be ‘impeached’ for their political and legal failures.

American voters must work together in restoring America, our Constitution, and stop practicing greed of only me. This is a must! Working together, we can do it.

As Ronald Reagan said, “My friends, we did it. We weren't just marking time. We made a difference. We made the City stronger, we made the City freer, and we left her in good hands. All in all, not bad; not bad at all....”

During, the Republican presidential administrations of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, Neoconservatives become a great influence in our elections and promoted the election of neoconservatives; during the administrations of George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, when they played a major role in promoting and planning the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Prominent neoconservatives in the George W. Bush administration included Paul Wolfowitz, John Bolton, Elliott Abrams, Richard Perle, Paul Bremer, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld promoted the neoconservative foreign policies, especially the defense of Israel and the promotion of democracy in the Middle East. Neoconservatives continue to have influence in the Obama administration and neoconservative ideology has continued as a factor in American foreign policy.

The neoconservatives typically advocate the promotion of democracy, the promotion of American imperialism and national interest in international affairs, including by means of military force and are known for espousing disdain for communism and for political radicalism. The movement had its intellectual roots in the Jewish monthly review magazine Commentary, published by the American Jewish Committee. They spoke out against the New Left and in that way helped define the movement. C. Bradley Thompson, a professor at Clemson University, claims that most influential neoconservatives refer explicitly to the theoretical ideas in the philosophy of Leo Strauss (1899–1973), though in doing so they may draw upon meaning that Strauss himself did not endorse

The term "neoconservative" refers to those who made the ideological journey from the anti-Stalinist Left to the camp of American conservatism. Neoconservatives and neo-liberalist are two Masks but One Face. They deceive and betray the people of this country trash our Constitution, the rule of law and demise our freedom and liberty.
