ACTION

Obama and his intentional infliction of pain upon the American people for political gain has real casualties. Take Glenn Helseth for example, he runs the Carrot Tree Kitchens Restaurant inside historic Cole Diggers House in Yorktown, VA. He has been shutdown because of the battle between Obama and Congress.

As this article says, the National Park Service owns and operates the building. However, Helseth operates the restaurant. So when NPS shutdown, it shutdown the restaurant. Yet with the restaurant shutdown, Helseth still has to pay for his security system monitoring, his utilities, insurance, and he still has to pay his rent to the NPS (the government).

So if he is still paying rent on a property that he cannot use, how is this legal? He either is not obligated to pay the rent without fear of losing the lease, or if required to pay the rent, he is entitled to operate the property he has rented. It is one or the other. Yet, as we have all seen with Obama, he wants everything all at once, two things at the same time, and says one thing then the opposite a second later.

How is anyone to know what to believe? How is anyone to know what Obama means when he says something else seconds, minutes, or hours later? He said a red line on Syria in Aug 2012 then he stood in front of the world in 2013 while speaking in front of the UN and said it was the worlds red line and he never had his own red line. BS!

In a world where EVERY THING is recorded these days, how can he not know that he will be caught when he contradicts himself like that? That when he lies, blames everyone else and never accepts blame for anything. That everything that happens is always someone else’s fault, that he (Obama) is infallible, that he never makes mistakes, never is to blame. Obama must be inhuman because we humans make mistakes. It is human nature; humans make mistakes, unless you happen to be Obama.

Obama loves his Chicken Little routine. He must have played Chicken Little in his school plays. He has the part down pat. The last time no one listened when he said the sky was falling. Remember when he tried scaring us all with the sequester cuts? We all did not scare did we? So this time, he upped the ante by blockading the monuments and national parks. As the NPS officer was quoted saying, to cause as much pain as possible to the general public.

Now Obama is threatening Social Security recipients. The man has no shame! All that Obama has in his game plan is SCARE TACTICS! During Bush W. the Dems insisted that Republicans done nothing but scare the public with terrorist warnings. Yet, we did not suffer any major hits did we after 9/11. We learned, and we adapted. Obama has yet to bring in those responsible for Benghazi but just weeks after the Kenya Mall attack he has launched special forces.

Obama’s homeland and his fellow country folk are more important that dead Americans and a fallen American Ambassador in Benghazi. Obama had to act when Kenya suffered loses, but Americans do not matter to him. Obama says we all must embrace the Muslim way and the Quran, be more accepting and restful of Muslim. I say to Obama GO POUND SAND UP YOUR ASS!

Obama’s second term is very clear on what his priorities are. Certainly not America, not our way of life. Not our Constitution which he is doing all that he (Obama) can to destroy. Obama is doing all within his power to undermine our economy with his ObamaCare. For it has turned our economy into a Part Time work force when we used to be full time workers with regular benefits. Our workers used to have pride in going to work.

Now people, because of Obama and his free hand-outs, prefer to stay home, sit on the couch, do nothing, and collect food stamps which are  up by record numbers since he has taken office, the number of people on disability are up in record numbers, again since he has been in office. There is a pattern here people. Ignore it if you like. The proof is clear to see. Obama has created a country of dead beats.

As far as I am concerned, the more Obama tries to scare people with his default talk, no social security checks for seniors, barring of monuments, and so forth, it shows his desperation. I do not want to say winning and losing because this is not a winning and losing topic. We are ALL losing in these kinds of topics and arguments. All because Obama has such an ego that he has to be king, dictator, tyrant… that he cannot be a leader and do what it takes to lead a country and bring both sides together. To give a little, to lose a little to gain more.

Are You or Not?

Mari Nosol writes from the heart to parents and those that need to know what to do. My Gold Gold Standard centers on Wanda Draper and her book “ Your Child is Smarter Than You Think!” Imagine a professional thinking this or parents know a thing or two.

Another person that has written a book getting my Gold Standard approval is “A Matter of Panache: A Career in Public Education, a Traumatic Brain Injury, a Memoir of Surviving Both.” Debra Sanders talks about Video Modeling before there is a real term for it.

For me those on my Gold Standard a common thread is teaching. Time in the classroom as a heartfelt teacher is worth hours of studying. Also, all have a heart the size of the Marina Islands is in beauty!

Now it is time to inventory my parental behavior after seventeen years.

Commandments

Of course I have yelled. I am human. I try not and will try even harder. Like the Ten Commandments, it is hard for anyone to be perfect. The point I am taking away from this is if you are doing it all the time and never make an effort there needs to be huge changes. I try very hard and still have to watch very hard. It is not an easy task. I hope this book does for you what I wish I had known. Maybe then my learned behavior wouldn’t be like kicking smoking.
Guilty. Still do this some. Yet, did a lot when he was a child. I think most parents do this out of concern and love instead of malice. Again, younger parents and teachers take the advice and wisdom.
I always believed in my son. Careful though with all those extra therapies. My son Tanner asked, “Mom how stupid do you think I am?” He thought I pictured him as dumb and needed to fix him. I told him that I had problems when I was younger and I didn’t get help. I told him I was trying to give him something I didn’t get to help me with the stress and strain. Perceptions and Deceptions a slight tongue imbalance but oh how the emotions roll off so different!.
See 3 tis the same to me.
Guilty again. I defer a little here. I say these kids need to be held to a same high standard. One has to get to know these kids well while working with to figure out when they are playing you and not. I know I have seen my son play reading on 4th grade level and finally nailed him this summer on 11th grade using a MicroSoft 2010 Grade Reading Readability Calculator. He still tried to wiggle out but now I have him in a regular History Class. The school provided a one on one aide without me throwing a fit. The schools have always been great when it comes to my son. Maybe a couple of minor things but the schools rule for me.
OVER ALL IT IS TIME TO BUY THIS BOOK...ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNGER MOMS. SHORT STORY TIME TOO.

Do not tell me that “I know what I did.” I do not. Tell me what my infraction was in

simple, concise manner. I want to please you, but I have difficulties inferring

meaning within a vague statement. For instance, do not say please clean up your

bedroom.Tell me Exactly what you want, such as “Please make your bed and pick up

your toys.”

THOU SHALL NOT COMPARE ME TO OTHERS.

Please remind me and note the talents I possess. This increases my confidence

and positive self worth. Learning disabled or not, we ALL have talents to contribute

within society. I need you to help me realize what mine is. Believe in me and I will

believe in myself.

THOU SHALL NOT EXCLUDE ME FROM ACTIVITIES.

Please do not mimic me, ignore me or bully me. Please invite me to play with you. It

hurts when I am excluded. I like to run and jump in the playground, and be invited to

birthday parties too. Grownups can help me make friends by encouraging other

children to play with me. I can be a loyal friend if you get to know me.

THOU SHALL GIVE ME CHOICES

I do not like being ordered about any more than the other children. Give me choices

so I know you value my capabilities and opinions. Make them simple and concise.

Present two options or so. I get confused when too many questions or directions are

given at one time due to my processing speed. For instance, ask me if I would like

to wear my blue sweater or green one, rather than asking which sweater I would like

to wear.

THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE ME BY MY DIAGNOSIS, BUT MY CHARACTER.

I am an individual, just like other children. As my son used to say, “Mom my name

is John (name changed for anonymity) not Aspergers.” A profound statement

would say. :-0)

As a mom that really tries. My therapist says, “I way over compensate for my son!”

Here are my personal ties to these thoughtful Commands of Mari Nosal’s.

I am guilty of this quite a lot. But then again my son has hidden his talents quite well.

Recently I discovered I was right about his reading level or understanding being

much higher. Yet, was until recent a provider put things in to a term or used concrete

adjectives that brought clarity to me. This provider said his anxiety will make him

function at ( I know many do not like these words but they exist and carry a meaning

that is clear. To be clear I hate the words myself because I see that those on the

spectrum are treated this way when they are often smarter than a person assessing

them. I have often been treated this way. I either get real mad or think they are

ignorant and go on. That is harder to do when it deals with a passion of helping

those in society that are the most vulnerable. If not for my son, I would go crawl into

a think tank organization and forget this stuff) M. R level. Because I know my son

and this has been proven again and again, I fail on this in many ways. I struggle with

this where my husband is much better. It is frustrating for my son I know. Why?

Because I have to stop people and slow them down. However, when I do slow

people down and they get I care; they tended to come back to me and forever or a

long time. I could say much more but this is all I will except be patient with these

blessings from God. It is hard mom’s and dad’s I know. I will have to be mindful of

this till the day I die.

I do this and then I don’t. When my son says my parents didn’t are he shouldn’t do something; I do lots of reminding. I tell him I don’t care what he wants to do. I only want to make sure he has a job doing something he likes that he can make enough money at it. I tell him I could spend time doing something else besides a lot of time in him. I told him I don’t because I love him. Parents that care and take parenting serious do this. I tell him God does this for all those he loves and parents do the same. He will say he can’t are those that have special needs more or less shouldn’t have to do this. I quote and make an example of his favorite person on Earth at this moment. His Grandma Mallo! By gracious! She is 85 with one leg shorter than the other and a Club Foot. Special Needs this and that programs? Where were they then? Well for one there was the Shriner’s Hospital’s! Besides that she had to do most things on her own with the grace and help of God. She worked her whole life. She sacrificed for her four children. This shuts up a child that wants to get by using his disability as a crutch. I am the hard one in the parent chain. My husband is the softy. Being on the same page or closer might be better. I try harder and pray about this often. I am thankful to a case manager of sorts Dr. Samuel Oliphant. Before my wreck I had little time to find things like the Oklahoma Autism Network and other. That is why I want to write and inform others. We are missing a complete audience of people still going it alone.

I would say I never excluded Tanner from an activity. If anything I drug him to too

many. Accepting that he isn’t as extroverted as me; by a person I will be grateful to

forever and still seek her guidance from OKAY pointed this out to me. I do not see

this in myself; I mean being outgoing. I can see that my husband is much closer to

Tanner in the social quietness section termed introvert by this person I owe so much.

I have to do more of letting Tanner be Tanner. He doesn’t have to do everything to

be more social. I know he needs to be but he doesn’t enjoy it so stepping back a

bit might be wise.

9. I try to do this with Tanner. But, as a parent, I have to see that I expose and push

him out of the nest. Giving him choices I do. I forget sometimes that he is a teen,

seventeen. He is capable of all that I say but I keep pushing on and on treating him

as if he a child. Then again, my mother still introduces me as her baby. Therefore,

it could be the natural order of things. Should I get down on myself too much or

continue to try to do better?

I wouldn’t say I judge people by their diagnosis at all. If anything I might over

explain them by their diagnosis. Guilty of doing this with my son. My son may

have perceived this or my spouse but I have never been ashamed of my son. I

have felt blessed by him. Tried by patience with him maybe more so because of a

diagnosis but not about him. I only looked for a diagnosis as a launching pad to

look for things to help and do for him or understanding to get ideas for helping.

Perfect I am not but I try. I hope this has been helpful. I love this book because it hits at the heart of help and core of parenthood. Honesty at the core.

  As an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the U.S. Army(1974) and the U.S. Navy(1979) I fully support ALL of our Servicemen all over the globe. The embarrassment of having to serve under an Anti-American like Barry Obummer must be disheartening. My Prayers go out for all of you. Impeach Obama, NOW! 

  Also, The base in Guantanamo Bay,Cuba is now a Luxury Resort for the Islamic Terrorist there compared to the conditions We had back in 1977-78. We,the military stationed there then, had No A/C, NO access to Multiple TV stations, and rare calls to home from call centers only.

   I say that the incarcerated Terrorist now there should stop the whining and be subjected to the same or worse conditions that our military was back then. Add in Hard Labor and no further outside communications and they won't want to get involved in terrorist activities quite as much again.

  No more Desert Island Vacations for Terrorist anymore. Gitmo can be a Top Notch Rehab for them now.

Who Shutdown the Government

• House of Representatives voted all the money required to keep all government activities going -- except for ObamaCare.
• All spending bills must originate in the House of Representatives, which means that Congressmen there have a right to decide whether or not they want to spend money on a particular government activity.
• The hundreds of thousands of government workers who have been laid off are not idle because the House of Representatives did not vote enough money to pay their salaries or the other expenses of their agencies
• we do know who had the option to keep the government running and chose not to   
  • The Senate chose not to vote to authorize that money to be spent, because it did not include money for ObamaCare…. Mgi.. their “leader” being dirty harry reid
  • When Barack Obama keeps claiming that it is some new outrage for those who control the money to try to change government policy by granting or withholding money, that is simply a bald-faced lie.
  • Perhaps the biggest of the big lies is that the government will not be able to pay what it owes on the national debt, creating a danger of default.
    • Even if the debt ceiling is not lifted, that only means that government is not allowed to run up new debt
    • unless the Republicans get their side of the story out…… -- the lies will win. More important, the whole country will lose.

• Evicting citizens from their homes and businesses is more important ( critical) than the Amber Alert System for missing children
• Locking down National Memorials and spiting Veterans is more important (critical) than helping a child with cancer
• Beefing up Obamacare websites are more important (critical) than keeping our FBI open and working on National Defense
• Foreign Aid ( to hamas, Libya, egypt, mexico, russia) is more important (critical) than taking care of our Seniors
• Closing the Oceans is more important than………….Prayer
• Paying Government Union Officials is more important than…………The Statue of Liberty

The lawlessness of this spoiled brat has to be stopped. The only reason for all this is to inflict pain on the American people.

1. Treatments for Children Suffering From Cancer - The GOP have agreed to a compromise by funding part of the government, including the National Institutes of Health, which offers children with cancer last-chance experimental treatment. Obama has threatened to veto this funding.

2. The World War II Memorial - The WWII memorial on the DC Mall is a 24/7 open-air memorial that is not regularly staffed. Although the White House must have known that WWII veterans in their eighties and nineties had already booked flights to visit this memorial, the White House still found the ( critical ???) resources to spitefully barricade the attraction.

As a result, small businesses, hunters, and commercial fisherman can't practice their trade. While the feds have deemed the personnel necessary to keep this area open "non-essential," the "enforcement officers" to ensure no business is done are "essential."

Obama Blacks Out Sports, Entertainment Programming to Overseas Troops - The American Forces Network (AFN) that provides American sports and entertainment programming to our troops stationed abroad, has been shut down. For some reason, though, AFN News will still broadcast news, just not any of the popular and fun stuff.

Obama Closes Over 100 Privately-Managed Parks That Cost No Money to Run -  The U.S. Treasury actually makes money from the rent paid by a private company that "employs about 400-500 camp workers and managers across about a dozen states." No federal money is used to operate these parks. No federal employees are used to staff these parks. Taxpayers make a profit from these parks. Still, Obama had them closed and as a result 400-500 employees and a private business are taking it in the neck.

In the unlikely event the Democrat Senate passes the bill, Obama has threatened a veto of any compromise legislation opening the parks.

  America’s heartland must fight to keep “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance

Fifty-nine years ago young children all across America walked into their respective schoolrooms and with pride bursting in their young chests they recited the Pledge of Allegiance. There was a new and deeper meaning reflected in the addition to this pledge because the words “under God” were inserted to read, in full, “one nation under God.”

Since that momentous year millions of elementary school students all across America have recited this pledge – some hoping that their teacher will select them to stand in front of the classroom to proudly lead the recitation. Yet deep within the hardened hearts of some in America – led by infamous atheists like Madalyn Murray O’Hair – a concerted effort began to tear God away from children in public schools.

That effort has been renewed by an atheist couple in Massachusetts. They are attacking the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance’s “under God” phrase. They claim in their Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court case that, the words are exclusionary to their atheist children and violate their kids’ rights under the Equal Rights Amendment of the Massachusetts Constitution.

One has to understand the full dimension and scale of this nearly sixty plus year assault upon maintaining God in the Pledge of Allegiance which began with infamous atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair’s frontal assault in the 1940’s and 1950’s. She waged a successful effort to remove prayer from public schools, and assisted the growing effort of the secularization of America. The goal was to create a socialist nation which undermined and removed the basic biblical principles of character and heartland values the nation’s children.

In 2004, 50 years had passed since the adoption of “under God” in the pledge and O’Hair’s war on God in America, when the U.S. Supreme Court took up a case that challenged the phrase. The court ruled unanimously ruled that the phrase “under God” may remain in the Pledge of Allegiance as recited in public school classrooms. Nine years ago, many felt the nation’s heritage of respecting God in the Pledge of Allegiance was safe. It was not.

In 2007, just three years later, the Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott filed a brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit defending the constitutionality of the Texas Pledge of Allegiance which includes ‘one state under God’. Attorney General Abbott stated then, “Just as it is perfectly constitutional for Texas schoolchildren to pledge their allegiance to ‘one nation under God,’ it is also constitutional for students to pledge their allegiance to ‘one state, under God.” The Texas Attorney General was successful.

One has to ask, to what end and for what purpose does removal of God from the state of Texas public schools or from America’s national Pledge of Allegiance or removing his son Jesus Christ from the public square announcing his birth mean?

The clear and convincing purpose of atheists and secularists who denounce God and denounce Christ is to extinguish America’s connection to God in our spirit, in our heart, and most importantly in our soul. The purpose is to eradicate God and Christ and the principles and values that they exemplify as if they never existed.

All I hear is IMPEACH OBAMA! Do all you folks, good intentions notwithstanding, understand that impeachment is only part one of a two step process. Let's say for the sake of argument that you are able to get the Republican House to impeach (indict). What then? The case moves to the Democratic Senate for trial. Do any of you seriously believe that the Democrats are going to convict Mr Obama of anything? The man could slaughter a month old infant on the WhiteHouse lawn and you couldn't get a conviction in this Senate. He is untouchable by any Constitutional means.

I need to do some research as to just what can be done. I for one would love to see 10-15 million real Americans march on Washington DC and physically remove him from his castle under citizens arrest. March his butt to the supreme court for a trial. If the court balks, remind them they can hear the case or stand beside him as traitors. Then if convicted, expedite punishment as called for under the laws for treason. The Constitution gives the people (exclusively) the right to terminate this form of government and to institute "such forms as serve their needs." This right is not vested in the legislative, the judicial or the executive branches, but rather in the people as sovereigns. The federal government is supposed to be the low man on the totem pole, not at the top.

Learn how our government is "supposed" to work. Don't guess or look to others to tell you what to do. Study like I have and learn how it is supposed to function. Read the Constitution. Read the Federalist and anti-Federalist Papers. Then, study the ratification speeches and conventions that were the precursor to the birth of the US as a country. LEARN DANMIT!  Read the speeches and letters from such as Washington, Franklin, Jefferson and Adams. Study the speeches of Patrick Henry and the writings of Sam Adams. We are far past the time where we can afford to have people who don't understand their rights as ordained by GOD and codified by the Constitution and the amendments thereto. Don't trust the media in any form. They are collectively a pack of chronic liars and hypocrits. Use the internet like we do here and learn, learn learn.

I am as frustrated as any here. I am appalled at the liberties that others take with my liberty and GOD given rights. Unlike what I suspect are most here, I do have an understanding of how things are supposed to work. Seventy one years of life have enabled me to witness the decline and fall of liberty in America. I understand what happened and why it will continue to happen until the few real patriots stand up and scream "ENOUGH! WE WILL STAND FOR NO MORE!" Have you noticed how few congresspeople and senators have town hall meetings any longer? They are afraid to face the soverign people and be taken to task. Out of sight, out of mind. In Washington they are insulated from the masses they rule ... or so they think. They and the executive will never be afraid or compliant so long as they are safe from confrontation on a very personal level. No, don't advocate the overthrow of the government. Rather, advocate the return of the government to its rightful owners, the people.

Please forgive my bitter sounding rhetoric. I am old and depressed. Public apathy has destroyed my faith in my fellow Americans. Is there anyone left to fight the good fight and bleed if necessary to preserve the greatest political experiment in the history of mankind? Is there a leader in deed as well as word who can lead us out of ths mess? I fear not.
