Pretty bad how these individuals operating such astute web sites play games of such a selfishness. That I guess is their power grid of being Control Freaks. Bummer. Back in the day, no one would run amock with the system, for if they did they were subsequently arrested. But, now, they have hemorhoidal infarctions over the idea that millions of Americans are enjoying themselves within the crux of these medium.

They'll blame it on Sun Spots, Congress, noisy neighbors, just to shift the all watching eyes of their clientele away from the real deal behind the scenes.

This may be a some sorted rant in the eyes of some, a revelation to others, but it is a sincere calling out to these individuals running these services to knock it off with their Control Freakazoid mentality. Its bad enough that our Govt wants to play Home Owners Association Politics, Lording all things over our heads, just because they think that we shouldn't be allowed to have as much fun as they do.

So sad, the fact that they have such a stuffed shirt way of accessing things. Trying to dictate imorallity in their ways a behaviors of attempting to call it a moral value.

“As the U.S. economy collapses, the thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted is going to begin to disappear.  In fact, there are already an increasing number of signs that the collapse of society is accelerating.  In cities such as Chicago, roving packs of young people are “mob robbing” local businesses, randomly assaulting tourists and shoppers and are even pulling people out of vehicles.  This isn’t just happening in the “bad areas” anymore.

Over the past couple of months this type of crime has been common in some of the wealthiest areas of Chicago.  In fact, many Chicago residents are now referring to “the Magnificent Mile” as “the Mug Mile”. 

But it isn’t just in Chicago that this is happening.  During this past Memorial Day weekend, cities all over the United States experienced a stunning wave of mass violence.  We are supposed to be an “example” for the rest of the world, but as our economic wealth crumbles we are witnessing the collapse of society all around us. 

So what is going to happen when the economy gets even worse?

The United States used to be a fairly civilized society.  But now very few people seem to care how they treat others.  That is even the case with our own government.  As you will see below, the government is now sending SWAT teams in and dragging people out of their homes over unpaid student loans.

So if the government is going to be so brutal, what kind of message does that send to our young people?

Today our young people are facing a future that looks incredibly bleak.  It is hard to have faith in the “system” when the“system” simply does not work any longer.

What are you supposed to say to a young person when you know very well that there are no jobs and that there is very little hope?

Most Americans don’t understand what is causing the collapse of the economy, but most of them do have a sinking feeling that something has seriously gone wrong.

For the last few years the American people have waited patiently for our politicians to “fix things”, but they have not gotten the job done.

Instead, our economic situation is still declining. So now frustration is starting to boil over, and it is only going to get worse.

The following are 18 signs that the collapse of society is accelerating....

#1  In a brand new article, Janet Tavakoli has vividly described the wave of shocking violence that is currently sweeping the city of Chicago.  What she says is happening to Chicago right now is beyond alarming....

This year, all hell has broken loose in downtown Chicago. Years of under-hiring have resulted in a police force that is unprepared for wildings and gang violence. Moreover, concealed carry in Chicago is illegal, unless one follows the Constitution.

Tourists and residents have been attacked by mobs of youths on buses, on beaches, on bicycle paths, near the shops of the Magnificent Mile, and outside their homes. Mobs of shoplifters plagued “Mug Mile” stores.

Terror has descended on many of the wealthiest areas of Chicago.  Some are even calling on Chicago residents to completely avoid areas like the Magnificent Mile during the weekends until more police are brought in.

Mobs of young people are “swarming” retail stores, assaulting shoppers and pedestrians and even pulling people out of their cars.

The following is one eyewitness account of the “wildings” in Chicago that Tavakoli included in her recent article....

At about 11pm last Friday night, June 3^rd, I heard shouting, screaming, horns blaring and tires screeching from my apartment...When I looked out my window to the street below I saw a crowd of about 20 young people...directly across the street from the entrance to my building. They were leaning on parked cars and clogging the street. They were screaming at people walking and driving by. I watched them stop vehicles, including taxi cabs, and pull people from the vehicles...It was a frightening scene and I was sure someone was going to be hurt.

#2  If you don’t pay your student loans you may find yourself getting dragged out of your home by a SWAT team.

The following is how an article in The Daily Mail recently described one recent SWAT team raid in California that was apparently ordered by the Department of Education....

A father was dragged from his home and handcuffed in front of his children by a SWAT team looking for his estranged wife - to collect her unpaid student loans.

A stunned Kenneth Wright had his front door kicked in by the raiding party at 6 am yesterday before being dragged onto his front porch, handcuffed and led to a police car with his three children.

He says he was then detained for six hours while officers looked for his wife - who no longer lives at the house.

#3  One town in Connecticut was forced to shut down a beautiful new fountain because too many people were using it as a toilet.

#4 This most recent Memorial Day weekend, cities all over America literally turned into war zones.  There were reports of mass violence in Miami, New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, Nashville and Boston among other places.

#5 One of the hottest books in America right now is a “children’s book” entitled “Go The F*k To Sleep”.

#6 A teenage girl in Washington state recently shot her Dad with a hunting bow because he took away her cell phone.

#7 In New York City, one 32-year-old man was recently charged with sexually assaulting an 85-year-old woman.

#8 Democratic strategist James Carville recently made national headlines when he told talk show host Don Imus the following....

“You know, look — this is a humanitarian — you know, you’re smart enough to see this . . . People, you know, if it continues, we’re going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it’s imminently possible.”

#9 According to one new study, the percentage of U.S. households that contain a married couple with children has fallen from 44.3% in 1960 to 20.2% today.

#10 In Atlanta, two dozen teens recently violently assaulted two Delta flight attendants on a train for no apparent reason.  The following is how a local Atlanta newspaper described the attacks....

Their “Clockwork Orange” style blitz was over soon after it began. The teens boarded the train, headed to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, at the Garnett station a little after midnight seemingly intent on instilling fear. They succeeded.

“There was blood everywhere, people were hollering and screaming,” a witness told Channel 2 Action News. “We were intimidated. People were terrified. People were trying to run. But there was nowhere to run.”

#11 Federal prosecutors in Indianapolis have announced that they have broken up one of the largest child pornography rings ever discovered.  It was based in Bloomington, Indiana.

#12 Barack Obama’s food safety chief is defending armed raids of raw milk producers (including a raid on an Amish farmer) and he says that the FDA will “keep doing our public health job”.

#13 In Florida, a 45-year-old Polk County sheriff’s deputy has been charged with strapping children to a desk and spanking them with sex toys.

#14 In Sioux City, Iowa a 41 year old man recently walked into the office where his boss worked and beat the living daylights out of him.  The boss suffered four chipped teeth and needed surgery to repair his nose.  Apparently the boss was planning to fire the man.

#15 A 20-year-old woman in Oklahoma has been charged with killing the family cat and using the blood as part of a costume she planned to wear to a Lady Gaga concert.

#16 McDonald’s recently held a “National Hiring Day” and about a million Americans showed up to apply for jobs at McDonald’s restaurants all around the nation.  Well, in Cleveland a horrible fight broke out between some girls and it ended up with three people being run over by a car.  You can view video of this incident right here.  Please do not watch the video if you are sensitive to graphic violence.

#17 All over the United States, vicious restaurant brawls have been erupting with alarming frequency and many of them are being posted up on YouTube for the world to see.  You can see one example of this phenomenon right here.

#18 From coast to coast, “mob robbing” has become a very disturbing trend.

So what is a “mob robbing”?

Well, basically dozens of young people storm into a store together, grab whatever they want, and storm back out again.

Recent examples of this have been caught on video in Washington D.C. and in Las Vegas.

So does anyone still doubt that we are starting to see the collapse of society?

Sadly, things are going to get a whole lot worse.

In response to a recent article entitled “The Coming Economic Hell For American Families”, a frequent commenter on my site known as “El Pollo De Oro” left the following comment about the collapse of society that is beginning to unfold....

“Yes, it’s going to be VERY violent in The Banana Republic of America. Carjacking, kidnapping, drug trafficking, armed robbery and murder for hire will be major growth industries in the BRA when millions of formerly middle class Americans, now the neo-poor/neo-peasants, become increasingly desperate. The horrifying violence in Mexico will become a fact of life on this side of the border, the brutal kidnappings of the Philippines and Papua New Guinea will plague the BRA as well. The truth is that about the only thing keeping our society together has been the unprecedented affluence that we have been enjoying over the past few decades.

Once that affluence is gone, the true character of the American people will come out, and we may not like what we see.

That is one reason why I pound on the economic crisis this nation is facing day after day.  Once our wealth is gone, there is going to be chaos in the streets of America.”

Personally I believe that part of the problem we face in this country is the motivation of our elected representatives. We have, for as long as I have been voting (40+ years) , been seeking term limits with no success. No surprise, most want to preserve their career first and foremost.

I believe the best thing the Tea Party could do is help to achieve term limits through a "Endorsement Contract" with candidates for office. The contract would state that the prospective candidate would agree to serve no more than 2 consecutive terms. Incumbents would agree to one additional term beyond their current term(s).

If they cannot agree to this I would urge the Tea Party to withhold endorsement. Our representatives will need to make some of the toughest decisions in this countries history in the coming years, we cannot afford to have indebted representatives with only their next election on their minds. An effective representative will need to make decisions that will make some angry if we are to get back on track.

“The amount of publicity garnered by the secretive Bilderberg conference this year in St. Moritz, Switzerland, far surpassed the coverage afforded to past gatherings of the elite cabal, with major media outlets and international news wires finally reporting on the yearly event after refusing to do so for over five decades. Protests, the alternative media, and anti-Bilderberg politicians played an important role in spreading the news.

Bilderberg, named after the Dutch hotel where members first met in 1954, brings together some of the most influential figures on Earth. More than 120 top-level officials in government, banking, media, finance, business, think-tanks, armed forces, and even European royalty attend the confab every year.

Among the confirmed 2011 European and Canadian attendees were the British Chancellor of the Exchequer (“in his official capacity,” according to the Treasury), the President of the European Central Bank, the head of Canada’s central bank, the queens of the Netherlands and Spain, the Crown Prince of Norway, a representative of the unimaginably vast Rothschild banking empire, finance ministers, heads of state, and many more.

A reporter on the scene for the U.K. Guardian said there were also individuals in attendance who were not on the official list — a regular occurrence discovered almost every year. Among them were German Chancellor Angela Merkel, NATO Secretary-General Anders Rasmussen, and Socialist Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero of Spain. Microsoft founder and multi-billionaire Bill Gates was reportedly spotted as well.

A handful of non-Westerners also attended, including Turkish business moguls and members of the political class in Turkey. A senior representative of the brutal Communist dictatorship ruling mainland China was there as well. So was a Russian oligarch.

More than two dozen prominent members of the American elite attended, too. An especially interesting cadre at the 2011 event included some of the masters of the internet world: The co-founder of Facebook; the executive chairman of Google; the co-founder and executive chairman of LinkedIn; the founder and CEO of Amazon.com; the commander of the American military’s “cyber command” (or USCYBERCOM); Microsoft’s Chief Research and Strategy Officer; and others.

Representatives of the non-digital American elite were out in force as well. Among them were former Ghaddafi adviser and Bush-era neo-con extraordinaire Richard Perle; billionaire David Rockefeller, who openly boasted in his autobiography of conspiring to erect a global political and economic system; Robert Rubin, former Treasury Secretary and current co-chairman of the immensely powerful, world-government-promoting Council on Foreign Relations; the vice-chairman of Citigroup; TV personality Charlie Rose; former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who frequently and publicly calls for what he refers to as a “New World Order”; the president of the World Bank; and others.  

Top officials in the Obama administration were also there including — quite ironically — the Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg and Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) Keith Alexander were also on the official list, as were former Federal Reserve and military chiefs. Not on the public list but spotted at the conference, according to unconfirmed reports from correspondents in St. Moritz, was Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

By any objective standard, a meeting of over 120 of the world’s most powerful individuals would seem to be extraordinarily newsworthy. But until recently, the confab rarely attracted even a passing mention in the establishment press. The eerie silence fueled deep suspicion and innumerable theories about what the group may be plotting in secret. This year, however, was different,  at least in terms of media coverage.

In a story picked up by numerous large-circulation U.S. newspapers including the Washington Post, for example, the Associated Press wire service described the June 9-12 event as a “secretive gathering of senior government officials and business executives ... that some liken to a shadow world government.” CNBC, Forbes, Fox News, the Baltimore Sun, Time magazine and others also ran stories about Bilderberg.

In China, the media were buzzing with news of the conference, too. One Chinese-language report by the French wire service AFP referred to the group as the “mysterious world shadow government” in a headline, according to Google Translate. Chinese media behemoth United Daily News ran a similar headline for another Bilderberg article.  

European and Russian news outlets offered unprecedented levels of coverage as well, with the Guardian newspaper and the TV network Russia Today both sending correspondents to the scene. Several alternative-media outlets including the American Free Press and InfoWars sent reporters, too. And the Swiss press in particular has been overflowing with reports on Bilderberg for over a week.

Analysts speculated that the so-called “mainstream media” establishment — which is rapidly losing its market share as news consumers increasingly turn to alternative sources — was essentially forced to cover the conference in an attempt to salvage what remains of its credibility. But despite the increased attention, in one segment of the establishment press, news of the event was conspicuously missing.

Among the confirmed 2011 Bilderberg attendees were representatives of more than a few major media firms: the editor-in-chief and two correspondents of the Economist magazine; the chief international correspondent of Germany’s Die Zeit newspaper; the editor-in-chief of Helsingin Sanomat, Scandinavia’s largest daily subscription publication; a political columnist for the Dutch paper NRC Handelsblad; the CEO of Portuguese media giant Impresa; and more. None of those “news” outlets had covered the Bilderberg conference by press time on June 12.

There was, however, at least one notable exception. The CEO and publisher of Standard Medien AG, an Austrian media conglomerate, was also among those present at the Bilderberg summit. And one of his firm’s online portals, derstandard.at, reported the fact that Austria’s head of government, Federal Chancellor Werner Faymann, was in attendance.

A rival political party was apparently upset about the nation‘s Chancellor attending the meeting, even demanding an “intelligence” report about the conference from Faymann upon his return. So, not covering the growing scandal might have been raised serious questions about the integrity of Standard Medien among Austrian news consumers.  

But even with the burgeoning Bilderberg coverage, critics still complained that the amount of media surrounding the conference was insufficient — especially considering the magnitude of the news. Other analysts noted that much of the “mainstream” coverage focused on downplaying the significance of the event or attempting to demonize critics.

But progress is certainly being made. While it would be impossible to calculate exactly how many people around the globe learned of Bilderberg’s existence over the past week, it’s safe to assume the number is in the millions — possibly tens or even hundreds of millions.

In recent years, authors, researchers, and the so-called “alternative media” have increasingly been spreading information and news about the cabal through the Internet. And not even including the new-found press coverage, the online exposure appears to have dramatically increased awareness about the confab.

Hundreds of protesters and critics from all across the political spectrum descended on St. Moritz to lambaste the elite attendees. They held up anti-Bilderberg signs and blasted their opposition through bull horns around the perimeter of the luxury Suvretta House hotel throughout the whole four-day gathering.

On the first day of the conference, along with a bogus “bomb” scare, a giant wall of curtains was erected around the edge of the Bilderberg compound. Presumably it was designed to keep protesters from looking in and conference attendees from being forced to see the growing crowd outside.

But at one point, angry protesters did get a chance to shout at some heavily guarded members of the elite in a face-to-face confrontation. During a “nature walk” outside the hotel, one activist even had a brief exchange with Thomas Enders, the CEO of Airbus. “We are just making our agendas,” Enders responded to a question about what was being discussed behind closed doors with politicians. “I don’t have to tell you, and you don’t need to know,” he arrogantly explained with a smile on his face.  

Several lower-ranking members of the political class made a fuss about the event as well. Italian member of the European Parliament Mario Borghezio, for example, attempted to force his way into the conference on the first day. He was reportedly detained and roughed up by police, prompting the Italian embassy in Switzerland to demand answers.

Prominent Swiss politicians were furious about the gathering, too. Center-right Parliamentarian Dominique Baettig of the nation’s largest political party, for example, asked prosecutors to consider arresting attendees such as former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for war crimes, suggesting that Swiss officials at the event should be charged with treason. Baettig, too, tried unsuccessfully to barge in on the conference in what the Guardian’s Charlie Skelton called a “historic moment.” 

Some Bilderberg opponents have also suggested arresting U.S. attendees, citing the Logan Act. That law prohibits Americans from negotiating policy with foreign officials.

Regular Bilderberg attendee and former International Monetary Fund (IMF) boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn, another socialist, was recently arrested in New York on unrelated sex charges. But calls to prosecute various Bilderbergers for a wide range of criminal offenses are only growing louder.

Critics of the confab are, of course, routinely derided as conspiracy “theorists” or worse by establishment apologists. The government-funded BBC recently ran a vicious smear piece against people suspicious of Bilderberg, trying to link opposition to secret meetings of global policy makers with anti-Semitism and other unsavory associations.

But leaks and public statements by attendees over the years — reported on by the BBC, ironically — reveal that the cabal was instrumental in more than a few world-changing occurrences. The continental super-state known as the European Union and the failing regional “euro” currency, for example, are just a few of the developments in recent decades attributed to Bilderberg.

Anecdotal evidence also suggests the group plays an important part in the seemingly unexplainable rise to power of national leaders. Bill Clinton, for example, attended the conference in 1991 as a virtually unknown state governor. The following year he became President. Then-presidential candidate Barack Obama was reportedly there in 2008. British Prime Minster David Cameron and former PM Tony Blair both went to Bilderberg before rising to the top as well. So did a multitude of global power brokers too long to list.    

Due to the tight secrecy, speculation about what may have been on the 2011 agenda is, as always, running rampant. But a press release posted on the relatively new “official” Bilderberg website cited by the AP and others offered some generalities about the topics of discussion: the euro, challenges for the EU, social networking, “security issues,” the Middle East, “demographic challenges,” China, and more. In 2007, “The New World Order” was the top item on the agenda.

“What is unique about Bilderberg as a forum is the broad cross-section of leading citizens that are assembled for nearly three days of informal and off-the-record discussion,” the group’s public statement notes, claiming that the “privacy of the meetings ... has no purpose other than to allow  participants to speak their minds openly and freely.” Critics of the shadowy cabal, however, still aren’t buying it.”

Would you believe that Lee Iacocca is 82 years old and is still kickin butt?  Check out his latest rant.

Just as true today as it was when his book first came out  He was, and still is, a brilliant businessman!  Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its death throes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, 'Where Have All The Leaders Gone?'

'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening?  Where the hell is our outrage with this so called president?  We should be screaming bloody murder we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even run a ridiculous cash-for-clunkers program without everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, 'trust me, the economy is getting better..'Better?  You've got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned 'Titanic'.  I'll give you a sound bite:  'Throw all the Democrats out, along with Obama!'

You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore..

The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs.. While we're fiddling in Afghanistan, Iran is completing their nuclear bombs and missiles and nobody seems to know what to do. And the liberal press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the ' America ' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for.  I've had enough.  How about you. 

I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have. The Biggest 'C' is Crisis! (Iacocca elaborates on nine C's of leadership, with crisis being the first.) 

Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with a thumb up your butt and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down.

On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of a mess, so here's where we stand.

We're immersed in a bloody war now with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving.. But our soldiers are dying daily.

We're running the biggest deficit inthe history of the world, and it's getting worse every day.

We've lost the manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs.

Gas prices are going to skyrock again, and nobody in power has a lucid plan to open drilling to solve the problem. This country has the largest oil reserves in the WORLD, and we cannot drill for it because the politicians have been bought by the flea-hugging environmentalists.

Our schools are in a complete disaster because of the teachers' union.

Our borders are like sieves and they want to give all illegal's amnesty and free healthcare.

The middle class is being squeezed to death every day.

These are times that cry out for leadership.

But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?'  Where are the curious, creative communicators?  Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense?  I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point. 

Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo. 

We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened.

Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping the government will make it better for them. Now, that's just crazy.. Deal with life.

Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing.  Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies?  How did this happen, and more important, look what Obama did about it!

Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening.  But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry.

I have news for the Chicago gangsters in Congress. We didn't elect you to turn this country into a losing Socialist state. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on NBC or  will call them a name?  Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change.

Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America .. In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression, World War II' the 'Korean  War' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years since 9/11.

What is Agenda 21?  If you do not know about it, you should.

Agenda 21 is a two-decade old, grand plan for global ’Sustainable Development,’ brought to you from the United Nations. George H.W. Bush (and 177 other world leaders) agreed to it back in 1992, and in 1995, Bill Clinton signed Executive Order #12858, creating a Presidential Council on ‘Sustainable Development.’ This effectively pushed the UN plan into America’s large, churning government machine without the need for any review or discussion by Congress or the American people.

‘Sustainable Development’ sounds like a nice idea, right?  It sounds nice, until you scratch the surface and find that Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development are really cloaked plans to impose the tenets of Social Justice/Socialism on the world.

At risk from Agenda 21:

Private Property ownership

Single-Family homes

Private car ownership and individual travel choices

Privately owned farms

The Agenda 21 plan openly targets private property.  For over thirty-five years the UN has made their stance very clear on the issue of individuals owning land;

Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.

There are two more, very good reasons to be wary of Agenda 21 and the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) that supports it: George Soros and the United Nations. Soros money has been tracked to funding parts of ICLEI ;

In 1997, George Soros’s Open Society gave ICLEI a $2,147,415 grant to support its Local Agenda 21 Project.

As regards the UN, that organization‘s problems with America’s appreciation of freedom and self-determination is one that needs no explanation.

Currently in California, Agenda 21 is working to implement plans to create plans for sustainable management of ‘open spaces.‘ The definition of what is to be considered an ’open space’ has sparked some heated exchanges between those directing the planning meetings and citizens who want private property rights to be respected and protected. (The East Bay Tea Party video featuring a Liberal Democrat arguing against ICLEI can be seen at the end of this article.)

This type of global plan could not be implemented without a large and well-funded group pushing through its priorities. For that, Agenda 21 has the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). And ICLEI is deeply entrenched in America;

ICLEI USA was launched in 1995 and has grown from a handful of local governments participating in a pilot project to a solid network of more than 600 cities, towns and counties actively striving to achieve tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and create more sustainable communities. ICLEI USA is the domestic leader on climate protection and adaptation, and sustainable development at the local government level.

Over six hundred cities,towns and counties in America are members of ICLEI? Do you support your local government agreeing to rules and regulations set up by a UN-based organization that wants private property transferred to government control? Austin, Texas is one city that seems to have fallen for the ICLEI/Agenda 21 and was heavily consuming the ‘Communitariasm’ Kool-aid.

A local group called Texans For Accountable Government saw what was happening and attempted to stop the Austin City Council from adopting some Agenda 21-friendly initiatives. One of TAG’s members, John Bush, delivered a succinct presentation on ICLEI and Agenda 21 that was virtually ignored. In the world of business Agenda 21 is not a free market friend, preferring PPPs or Private Public Partnerships where the government decides which companies will receive tax breaks and are allowed to stay in business. In light of this realization, the cozy relationship between the current administration and GE (a company that paid no tax in 2010) should raise eyebrows. And the WH efforts to tell Boeing in which state they can operate seems to further bolster the belief that Agenda 21 ideals are already making headway in America.

The seeds for Agenda 21 were planted back in 1987 when the writings of Gro Harlem Brundtland (a woman who at the time was Vice President of the World Socialist Party) caught the eye of the UN.  Dr. Brundtland wrote a report for the UN called, ‘Our Common Future’ eventually got into the business of environmentalism as a tool to control all the people of the world and establish a global government. The growth of ICLEI and the framework being put in place by supporters of Agenda 21 appear to be bringing Dr. Brundtland’s ideas closer to reality

In recent months, citizen groups across the country have organized and become involved in the removal of towns and cities from membership in ICLEI. The Roanoke, VA Tea Party is holding a rally this week in an effort to have ICLEI removed from their local government.

Open Letter to Under/Unemployed Americans: Barack Obama Owes You an Apology!

“As President Barack Obama swung through North Carolina yesterday, he did all he could to show that he cares about the U.S. economy, its 9.1 percent unemployment rate, and the 13.9 million Americans who remain out of work. Well, that is, until he let a bit of honesty slip off his tongue.

During a meeting with his Jobs and Competitiveness Council—a group of CEOs the President created to give him advice on the economy—conversation turned to Obama’s $787 billion stimulus that promised to “create or save” 3.5 million new jobs by 2011 by pumping money into “shovel ready” jobs. Confronting the reality that his stimulus failed, thePresident quipped, “Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected.” The council, led by GE’s Jeffrey Immelt, burst into laughter.

But for those millions of jobless Americans who have not seen the promise of Obama’s stimulus come to fruition, unemployment is no laughing matter. Still, though, that reality escapes those on the left who continue to cling to the notion that President Obama’s big government, Keynesian policies have succeeded despite all evidence to the contrary.

Case in point: On Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” host David Gregory confronted DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz with the cold hard facts—unemployment is up 25 percent since President Obama’s inauguration day, the debt is up 35 percent, a gallon of gas is up 104 percent, and 59 percent of Americans disapprove of the President’s handling of the economy. Wasserman Schultz’s reply that, in all likelihood, is still spinning like a top two days later: ”We were able to, under President Obama’s leadership, turn this economy around.”

Obviously enough, the economy has not turned around. In a roundtable published by Barron’s magazine, 10 money managers and financial market experts were unanimous in their belief that slower economic growth is in store for the second half of 2011. Meanwhile, economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal say that the biggest risk to the U.S. economy’s recovery is a slowdown in hiring. On average, they expect the economy to add just 2.2 million jobs over the next year. And to make matters worse, Bill Gross of the Pimco investment firm told CNBC that the United States is in worse financial shape than Greece when its public debt is added to all the money owed to cover future liabilities in entitlement programs.

Or if you apply simple logic, if the economy had turned the corner, the President wouldn’t need to tour the country to convince America that down is up, night is day, and that he’s doing a great job getting people back to work.

In another bit of unintentional Obama economy comedy, the LA Times‘ Peter Nicholas laments today that “traditional tools to jolt the economy [are] largely exhausted or unavailable” to the President—more spending and tax cuts are off the table, he writes, because Congress is “concerned with reducing the federal debt.” Remember, though, that debt comes from spending, and it’s Obama’s reliance on spending that has helped put us where we are today. Heritage’s James Sherk and Rea Hederman, Jr., write:

The President responded to the recession with the stimulus, which massively expanded the size of government. President Obama now fiercely resists attempts to reduce spending and insists on dealing with the deficit by raising taxes on “the rich”—i.e., successful entrepreneurs and business owners. Increased government spending displaces private-sector business investment.

Other Obama policies that have made America’s economic picture worse include the President’s health care plan (which makes hiring new workers significantly more expensive, while leaving uncertainty over future costs); an increased effort to foist unionization on employers and employees; a refusal to submit trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia, and Panama (that would create new business opportunities, along with tens of thousands of jobs); and an opposition to increasing domestic energy production, which will leave Americans to grapple with high energy costs.

There are, in fact, things the President can do to help the economy get on the right track. As Sherk and Hederman note, it starts with opening the door for entrepreneurs and businesses to expand and create new jobs by lifting the stifling regulations and burdens that have been created in the past two years.

President Obama might want to joke about jobs or downplay his failures as mere “bumps on the road.” He might also like to blame America’s troubles on the previous Administration or “unease about the European fiscal situation.” The truth, though, is a different story, and rather than joking, downplaying, or blaming, it’s time for the President to get to work on fixing the problem.”

I was wondering this morning what is the greatest sin.  I wrote in Google search, “the greatest sin,”  and was brought to writer Brennan Manning, a Catholic priest.  Father Manning says the greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out of the door and deny him by their lifestyles. Father Manning takes the words right out of my mouth.

Jesus was not a Christian. He was not even a good Jew.  Jesus was crucified for going against his establishment.  After studying the Constitution, I went against the establishment. I had a bigger than life calling.  I didn’t connect it with Jesus at the time, but miracles took place in my life after I chose the Constitution and rejected the establishment. Whereas, if anything could go wrong, it did before my change. Say I to those of little faith, after I went on my own, when everything could easily have gone wrong, everything started going right.

America is in big financial trouble.  But why? We don’t know the underlying reason.  The greatest sin is objectivity.  It is against “Higher Law,” the background of constitutional law. We, individually, are not objective.  You can’t make us objective. We were created with the ability to cope on our own.  Indeed, we give lip service to the Constitution—leap from the Constitution to “for the good of all.” It makes absolutely no sense. The idea is in vogue that the intelligentsia knows what is better for all.

The Constitution rejects the notion of government entitlement. I recall that Senator Reed won his seat back by being for government entitlement—beat the Tea Party candidate.  The Tea Party candidate, Sharon Angle,  was for privatizing Social Security. The majority thinks the idea nutty. Everyone running for office at this time is dealing with the symptoms and avoiding the cure for the problem they caused. Akin to black slavery, this we have is tax slavery.  And who but America’s blacks are the most dependent on government entitlements? 

I’m for Herman Cain for president. I hope my message gets to him.  With his understanding of free enterprise, he has a golden opportunity to bring blacks into the American dream. It is black against black. Against Cain's free enterprise stand, Obama has the chance of a snowball in hell of winning a second term.

Cain says it is God's will that he run. Catholic priest Manning teaches that the greatest accomplishment is me—the person I’ve become and who other persons are to become because of me.  Exactly!  It isn’t what I learned when I was a Christian, but it is what Jesus taught.  Manning says, “I cling to the God of my experience, whose love beggars belief.” I think Cain knows that. 

What do the American people know about life? Long before I found Father Manning, I found what he teaches is on target. The Constitution does not entitle anyone to government grants in aid.  It’s a Roosevelt ruse that has gone awry.  I’m a voice of experience. Government entitlement is someone’s sweat robbed from the owner and handed out to others for political gain. 

I hear over and over on the news that half of the American working people pay no tax on their income.  Don’t allow anyone to tell you the entry level worker with no deductions is not taxed in his income.  I know the black problem. When I was an entry level worker, my take home pay would not pay the rent on my one-room pad. I was locked out. Down the street was a mile-long line waiting to receive food stamps out of the money government took from my pay.  

The control freaks in charge of our lives, those telling you that half of the American working people pay no income tax, have you believing this lie.  Think about this. Half of America’s young blacks are unemployed.  They are far better to become involved in crime. it is our fault.  America elects people to public office, like Senator Reed, who are bankrupting America morally, spiritually, and fiscally. Let us give those black kids a break.  Jesus said that we should do to others as we would have them do to us.

Tea Party, come to the party! When people sell out their God-given rights and responsibilities the result is not a pretty picture.

“SEOUL - North Korea has probably succeeded in miniaturizing a nuclear device, South Korea’s defense minister said on Monday, an advance that would in theory allow the hermit state to place an atomic warhead on a rocket.

Regional powers have for years tried—with a mix of aid offers and punitive sanctions—in vain to stop Pyongyang pressing ahead with a nuclear weapons program it argues is a necessary defense against a hostile United States and South Korea with which it still has no peace treaty to formally end the 1950-53 Korean War.

Kim Kwan-jin offered no evidence to back his assertion but said the North had had enough time for such a development.

“It has been quite a while, enough time for them to have succeeded in miniaturization,” he told a parliamentary defense committee.

If true, it would mark a key advance in the North’s drive to develop a functioning nuclear weapon though that threat appears to be potential rather than actual.

It detonated nuclear devices in 2006 and 2009 but neither was considered by weapons experts to have been successful, though they say the impoverished state has enough fissile material for up to 10 nuclear weapons.

It is believed to be preparing a third test at a test site on its east coast.

The North has also been working, so far with little success, to build a missile capable of delivering a nuclear weapon across the Pacific, as far as the United States.

Where is the outrage? I,like many others, post blogs about the decay of American politicians or Obamas ridicules policies but where are the leaders of our Tea Party? WE need to unite in electing Candidates that will support the Constitution and place Americans first. Where is the outrage of out sourcing American jobs, allowing law breakers to infiltrate our boarders?It seems that rhetoric has crept into the Tea Party. Its easy to complain, I know I've been complaining since the last Presidential election, we need to UNITE in support of Candidates that will make the right choice and support US the AMERICAN populaces. We need a list of Candidates for not only Federal Elections but State and Local positions to succeed as an organization. Please give information on who and where the TEA PARTY can make a difference and what is needed to succeed. With the information at hand WE can take back the Government and eliminate the Socialists trying to steal America as we've know it. Instead of talking about the obvious it is time to organize against the obvious. Those who have the organization and support team should now disseminate the information about leaders we can get on board with and start the fight now, today, not in the last daysof the battle. Send information to the Tea Party members and we will make the difference and stop this Hope and Change folly.

“If you have been depending on the mainstream media for your news the past few days, you are probably learning here for the first time that CIA Director Leon Panetta has been called out for his links to an important open member of the Communist Party.

Some background:

When this writer first arrived in Washington, D.C., as a reporter in 1968, one of my assignments was to cover the congressional delegation from Washington State.

Occasionally, both Democrat and Republican members of Congress from the Evergreen State would obliquely mention the name of Hugh DeLacy — either with a knowing snicker or muffled sound of disapproval.

It was as if they were shamefacedly acknowledging their state’s dirty little secret.

This much I gathered: Hugh DeLacy was a Communist who entered Democrat politics in Seattle and served in Congress, later to be defeated because of his pro-Red affiliations.

That name — stashed away for years in a reporter’s mental file — re-emerged in 2011 when (not for the first time) intrepid researchers did the work the mainstream media should have been doing.

It seems that the late Communist Hugh DeLacy and the man who now heads this nation’s spy agency were good buddies.

An oldie in the files re-emerges:

Although hearings were held last Thursday on Panetta’s nomination (by President Obama) to become Secretary of Defense, not one word appeared in any major newspaper or TV news channel about the allegations.

The June 9 morning hearings by the Senate Armed Services Committee did not elicit any mention of the newly revealed information of the Panetta/DeLacy connection. That afternoon, the senators scheduled an executive session behind closed doors. No information as to whether the issue was brought up then.

Documentation:

Researchers Trevor Loudon and Cliff Kincaid have documented the following:

Director Panetta for years maintained a friendly relationship with the late Hugh DeLacy. One “Dear Hugh” letter from then-Rep. Leon Panetta (D-Calif.) in 1977 offered a summary of a report on U.S. military operations, which, according to Panetta, was “unavailable for distribution.”

In his conclusion, Panetta writes, “If there is anything I can do for you in the future, Hugh, please feel free to call on me.” This “Dear Hugh” business did not appear to be a routine ingratiating courtesy on the part of a politician to a constituent (DeLacy later lived in Santa Cruz, California). When DeLacy passed away in 1986, Congressman Panetta spoke at his memorial service.

In 1983, Mr. Panetta paid tribute to DeLacy and his wife and entered it into the Congressional Record. “The causes for which they have dedicated their lives [including] a halt to the dangerous arms race — are causes for which we are still working today,” intoned Congressman Panetta.

"Dear Hugh's" real activism:

In an obituary on DeLacy, the Los Angeles Times stated, “In 1954, he [DeLacy] invoked the Fifth Amendment when asked by the House Un-American Activities Committee if he was or ever had been a Communist.”

Two years later, the House committee heard testimony from Barbara Hartle, a former Communist who had resigned and renounced her membership in the Party and since then had shared information with the FBI and other authorities in their efforts to combat the Communist conspiracy. Said she:

“I had attempted to break contact with the Communist Party in the underground on the wrong assumption that if I broke contact that they would leave me alone.” Instead, Hartle testified under oath, she was then “pursued by the Communist Party in the persons of its leaders, attempting to discipline me, attempting to bring me back into activity and responsibility.”

The harassment became so pervasive, Hartle added, that she concluded the Communist Party “was a gigantic hoax, that it has raised havoc with my life, that it was a danger to the country.”

House Committee Staff Director Richard Arens then asked the witness to “tell this committee while you are under oath, the names of any persons to your certain knowledge, who were Communists and officers or leaders of the Northwest Committee for the Protection of the Foreign Born [a Communist front].”

Mrs. Hartle: Hugh DeLacy.

Mr. Arens: And by the way, if it is agreeable with you, give us just a comment about the individual, what you know about him.

Mrs. Hartle: Hugh DeLacy was at one time president of the Washington Commonwealth Federation of the state of Washington, was one time a Congressman from the First District of the state of Washington [for one term, 1945-47].”

Mr. Arens: And Mr. Chairman [Rep. Clyde Doyle D-Calif. was chairing the hearing], I think it would not be inappropriate that in anticipation of our [planned] hearings in Ohio, we made a vigorous search for Hugh DeLacy in order to subpoena him. Our best information is that he has been dodging the subpoena.

Communist-backed candidate:

The lead in the L.A. Times obit identified DeLacy as “a Founder of the Progressive Party that nominated Henry Wallace for President in 1948.”

That party was organized and dominated by the Communist Party. Wallace himself admitted later in life that he had been duped and used. Christopher Andrew, a University of Cambridge historian — working with evidence in the Mitrokhin Archive — has stated publicly that he believed Wallace was a KGB agent.

From the Loudon/Kincaid files:

Panetta — as a member of Congress — and DeLacy — as a street activist — shared an affinity for communist scoundrels in Latin America.

While DeLacy visited Nicaragua and paid tribute to its communist Sandinista regime, Panetta — on Capitol Hill — fought President Reagan’s efforts to undermine the Sandinista Moscow puppets.

Leon Panetta, as the Loudon/Kincaid files show, collaborated with the Institute for Policy Studies, a think tank that promoted the Chilean Marxist and Cuban Intelligence agent Orlando Letelier who conducted Communist political operations in Washington. (See this writer AIM Report — “Robert Novak Versus the Media Establishment,” Sept. 18, 2007)

And there's more:

The California Senate Fact-Finding Committee on Un-American Activities named Hugh DeLacy as having been associated with the American Peace Mobilization Committee. That front was organized during the Hitler-Stalin pact to “sabotage our national defense program,” culminating in a “mass picket line around the White House” until shortly before Nazi Germany turned on its erstwhile ally, the Soviet Union — at which point, the U.S. Reds suddenly became “great patriots” for FDR’s “waw effaht.”

Add to all the above the fact that DeLacy was not only a prominent member of the Communist Party USA, but also a personal contact of identified Soviet spies Solomon Adler and Frank Coe and accused spy John Stewart Service, and one has to wonder: What was there about DeLacy’s background and record that attracted the friendship of the man who is now CIA Director and has been nominated to assume an even higher national security post — Secretary of Defense?

The late columnist Robert Novak told me that he had learned shortly after arriving in Washington in the fifties that the press corps had imposed a “self-censorship” in ignoring certain stories — that among these were congressional investigations of Communist influence in our society. He added this de facto “cartel” turned a blind eye to “a lot” that was “still” going on even then (at the time of our 2007 interview).

Beyond that, the question persists in 2011: Why have the media — even some non-liberal ones — not followed up on the information that the man who heads our premiere spy/counterspy agency was a good friend of a Communist Party member?

Only a few websites — including this one — have paid attention to the story.

If Panetta’s nomination for Secretary of Defense makes it through the Senate Armed Services Committee — and barring indications to the contrary, it would appear “the skids are greased” — then what? Is there not one conservative senator prepared to raise this issue on the floor when the confirmation is up for debate?

Not one? Why?

Our favorite restaurant fell by the way side and closed. Mary and I saw a new sign on the building and pulled our car at the entrance to see if they were open for business. The new owner, a middle aged Asian gentleman, rushed outside to greet us.

He said his grand opening was three weeks away. He then enthusiastically began promoting his new restaurant; explaining how it was going to be so much better than the previous restaurant. His passion was infectious. Mary and I left excited about giving his new venture a try.

I thought, this guy is what America is all about. Obama-nomics has wreaked havoc on small business. Still, this man is willing to take the risk and go for it.

Folks, I can not begin to tell you how much it “frost me” that Obama uses class envy to portray small business owners such as this restaurateur as selfish greedy bad guys.

The liberal mindset reasoning that “the boss” is always the bad guy baffles me. Approximately half of new small businesses fail within the first two years. With all of the silly and outrageous “nanny government” cost incurring regulations, the failure rate is rapidly increasing.

So, when a small business owner survives the maze of control freak intrusive regulations, meets payroll and all of the other challenges which come with being “the boss”, Obama believes it is evil for the business owner to take home a check much larger than his “workers”.

Well excuse me Mr. President, but the boss took the risk, providing employment for employees who can simply punch out at five o'clock and forget about the business until the next day. The boss, perceived by liberals to be selfish, greedy and “evil”, is mentally, physically or emotionally engaged with his business 24/7.

A liberal posted on my facebook wall, “You conservative Christians forget that Jesus was a socialist.” Apparently, this person is unfamiliar with Jesus' Parable of the Talents.

Condensing the story, a master left town leaving three servants with talents (money); one with five talents, another with two talents and the third he entrusted with one talent; each according to his ability.

The servants with the five and two talents invested and doubled their master's money. Upon his return, the master was extremely pleased and greatly rewarded them.

The third servant, probably an Obama voter, was fearful of taking a risk and buried the master's one talent. Upon his return, the master was furious with his servant calling him wicked and lazy. Yep, sounds like an Obama voter to me.

If Obama was the master, he would have scolded the two risk taking servants accusing them of being selfish and greedy. How dare his successful two servants double their talents and not redistribute them equally with the “wicked lazy” servant.

Answering as he did to Joe the Plumber, Master Obama would say, “I think it is only fair that we spread the wealth around”.

Obama is a master of deception, speaking out of both sides of his mouth. While promising to implement policies which strengthen small business, Obama continues to create policies destructive to business. Is Obama “clueless” in regards to economics? No. Obama is a big government socialist fulfilling his vow to “fundamentally transform” America.

Small business has been the backbone of America employing most Americans. Under Obama, this reality is changing. The private sector is shrinking while people working for the government continues to grow as if on steroids.

I would like to share excerpts from a book by small business owner, Dwayne B. Stovall titled, “Growing Up Colorless: Race, Media and Government”.

“...For many years now, I have awakened every morning without the use of an alarm. The fear of failure is all a person needs to lose the ability to sleep.

Stress is like most chronic pain.

Come Monday, you still have to get up and make sure you don't do something that destroys your business and hurts your family or hurts the people that work for you and their families.

Like every other contractor in my industry, I give away 2 to 3 percent of every contract to an insurance company for bonding. Add to that the general liability, workers compensation, various commercial insurance policies, and all the taxes we are forced to pay and you can see how we start every year hundreds of thousands of dollars in the hole....”

So Mr Obama, enough with your despicable nonsensical self serving rhetoric saying those who are fortunate (lucky) should be willing to give a little more to support those who are “less fortunate”. You are shamelessly exploiting “class envy” to expand your voter base of deadbeats sitting around expecting handouts from your “stash”.

I know it is silly to wish my life away, but COME ON 2012! The American entrepreneurial spirit can not survive much more of a president who inspires divisiveness and hatred for achievers.

Mornings at the Pentagon

Over the last 12 months, 1,042 soldiers, Marines,This week, I'm turning my space over to a good friend and former roommate, Army Lt. Col. Robert Bateman, who recently completed a yearlong tour of duty in Iraq and is now back at the Pentagon.

Here's Lt. Col. Bateman's account of a little-known ceremony that fills the halls of the Army corridor of the Pentagon
with cheers, applause and many tears every Friday morning. It first appeared on May 17 on the Weblog of media critic and pundit Eric Alterman at the Media Matters for America Website.

"It is 110 yards from the "E" ring to the "A" ring of the Pentagon. This section of the Pentagon is newly renovated; the floors shine, the hallway is broad, and the lighting is bright. At this instant the entire length of the corridor is packed with officers, a few sergeants and some civilians, all crammed tightly three and four deep against the walls.

This hallway, more than any other, is the `Army' hallway. The G3 offices line one side, G2 the other, G8 is around the corner. All Army! Moderate conversations flow in a low buzz. Friends, who may not have seen each other for a few weeks, or a few years, spot each other, cross the way and renew.

Everyone shifts to ensure an open path remains down the center. The air conditioning system was not designed for this press of bodies in this area.

The temperature is rising already. Nobody cares. "10:36 hours: The clapping starts at the E-Ring. That is the outermost of the five rings of the Pentagon and it is closest to the entrance to the building. This clapping is low, sustained and hearty. It is applause with a deep emotion behind it as it moves forward in a wave down the length of the hallway.

"A steady rolling wave of sound it is, moving at the pace of the soldier in the wheelchair who marks the forward edge with his presence. He is the first. He is missing the greater part of one leg, and some of his wounds are still suppurating. By his age I expect that he is a private, or perhaps a private first class.

"Captains, majors, lieutenant colonels and colonels meet his gaze and nod as they applaud, soldier to soldier. Three years ago when I described one of these events, those lining the hallways were somewhat different. The applause a little more wilder perhaps in private guilt for not having shared in the burden ... Yet.

"Now almost everyone lining the hallway is, like the man in the wheelchair, also a combat veteran. This steadies the applause, but I think deepens the sentiment. We have all been there now. The soldier's chair is pushed by, a full colonel.

"Behind him, and stretching the length from Rings E to A, come more of his peers, each private, corporal, or sergeant assisted as need be by a field grade officer.

"11:00 hours: Twenty-four minutes of steady applause. My hands hurt, and I laugh to myself at how stupid that sounds in my own head. My hands hurt. Please! Shut up and clap. For twenty-four minutes, soldier after soldier has come down this hallway - 20, 25, 30. Fifty-three legs come with them, and perhaps only 52 hands or arms, but down this hall came 30 solid hearts.

They pass down this corridor of officers and applause, and then meet for a private lunch, at which they are the guests of honor, hosted by the generals. Some are wheeled along. Some insist upon getting out of their chairs, to march as best they can with their chin held up, down this hallway, through this most unique audience. Some are catching handshakes and smiling like a politician at a Fourth of July parade. More than a couple of them seem amazed and are smiling shyly.

"There are families with them as well: the 18-year-old war-bride pushing her 19-year-old husband's wheelchair and not quite understanding why her husband is so affected by this, the boy she grew up with, now a man, who had never shed a tear is crying; the older immigrant Latino parents who have, perhaps more than their wounded mid-20s son, an appreciation for the emotion given on their son's behalf. No man in that hallway, walking or clapping, is ashamed by the silent tears on more than a few cheeks. An Airborne Ranger wipes his eyes only to better see. A couple of the officers in this crowd have themselves been a part of this parade in the past.

These are our men, broken in body they may be, but they are our brothers, and we welcome them home. This parade has gone on, every single Friday, all year long, for more than four years.

I'm not a real big fan of debates but the GOP debates in New Hampshire have been a good showcase of Conservative thought.  We don't have a perfect candidate, and we will never will.  But the combination of Constitutional conservatism, economic savvy, historical context, and fresh Patriotic fervor is like a symposium on the role of government, and what it means to have faith in freedom and the free market.

Pawlenty seems a little stiff.  Newt is still a great intellect and, although he will hang up his campaign coat soon, adds a comprehensive understanding of aspects of American government.  Romney is a little redundant, rehashing many of his recent speeches.  But he appears to be the solid "fix the economy" candidate.  Michelle Bachmann looks strong.  I would like to hear more from her.  Santorum is passionate and unwavering, a fresh face.  Herman Cain is an audacious advocate for capitalism.  He has a certain "elder statesman" quality.  He is the experienced one in the house.  Cain has detailed ideas plans to answer the questions about Obamacare, Medicare insolvency, and jobs creation.  Cain is unequivocal about his opposition to allowing Sharia law to influence American law. 

The audience seems very in tune with the economic issues.  The debt limit is being discussed in-depth.  Every one of the GOP contenders has something to offer.  And as Mitt Romney has asserted several times, "Obama has no plan."  I feel proud as I watch this.  This, as I said, is an imperfect field.  There are a range of ideologies among the GOP candidates.  But the quality of the debate has risen out of pop-culture, sound bites, and mainstream media news flashes.  These candidates are debating with a depth of Constitutional knowledge that a few years ago was not present.  

I give credit to the Tea Party for pulling our candidates back in the direction of our founding roots.  I hope Americans, young and old alike, watch this and other upcoming debates.  The GOP candidates are giving us a good education about limited government and its enumerated roles in the Constitution.

Courtesy of the recently declassified Fed discount window documents, we now know that the biggest beneficiaries of the Fed’s generosity during the peak of the credit crisis were foreign banks, among which Belgium’s Dexia was the most troubled, and thus most lent to, bank.

Having been thus exposed, many speculated that going forward the US central bank would primarily focus its “rescue”efforts on US banks, not US-based (or local branches) of foreign (read European) banks: after all that’s what the ECB is for, while the Fed’s role is to stimulate US employment and to keep US inflation modest.

And furthermore, should the ECB need to bail out its banks, it could simply do what the Fed does, and monetize debt, thus boosting its assets, while concurrently expanding its excess reserves thus generating fungible capital which would go to European banks. Wrong.

Below we present that not only has the Fed’s bailout of foreign banks not terminated with the drop in discount window borrowings or the unwind of the Primary Dealer Credit Facility, but that the only beneficiary of the reserves generated were US-based branches of foreign banks (which in turn turned around and funnelled the cash back to their domestic branches), a shocking finding which explains not only why US banks have been unwilling and, far more importantly, unable to lend out these reserves, but that anyone retaining hopes that with the end of QE2 the reserves that hypothetically had been accumulated at US banks would be flipped to purchase Treasurys, has been dead wrong, therefore making the case for QE3 a done deal.

In summary, instead of doing everything in its power to stimulate reserve, and thus cash, accumulation at domestic (US) banks which would in turn encourage lending to US borrowers, the Fed has been conducting yet another stealthy foreign bank rescue operation, which rerouted $600 billion in capital from potential borrowers to insolvent foreign financial institutions in the past 7 months. QE2 was nothing more (or less) than another European bank rescue operation!
