the Left to Deny Trump His SCOTUS Pick

It began with a successful North Korean summit, followed by news that the economy is hotter than even the current heat wave embracing much of the country... The Supreme Court handed President Trump a win on the travel ban on nationals from terrorist-heavy countries, along with a handful of other decisions which are displeasing, to say the least, to dummycrats-Democrats. The month culminated with Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s imminent retirement, providing the president with his second SCOTUS nomination in as many years. Liberal heads are exploding on cable news shows and on the sets of unfunny late night comedy shows. Last week Trump was a Nazi, this week he is overturning Roe v. Wade and Brown v. Board of Education, sending America back into the dark ages. The left is now trying to disqualify any of Trump’s potential court nominees. Hezbollah's Indefinite Presence in Syria

Harvard-Harris Poll: 76% of Registered Voters 

Do Not Support ‘Open Borders’

{ americanthinker.com } ~ Today's lesson on morality and human rights comes from the probable according to polls next president of our crime-infested and corrupt neighbor to the south (emphases added):

Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) called for mass immigration to the United States, ...declaring it a "human right" for all North Americans.

"We will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world," Obrador said, adding that immigrants "must leave their towns and find a life in the United States."

Apparently, the U.S. must welcome an unlimited number of these unwanted, by their own president, Mexicans, because the U.S. is morally obligated to serve as Mexico's social-dysfunction safety valve and ATM.

Did you know that "chutzpah" is the same in Hebrew and Spanish? On the other hand, everyone knows that Obrador can count on a large cohort of dummycrats-Democrats, who share his view:

Lest anyone misunderstand, when dummycrats-Democrats say "the," they mean "all."  Today, it's "family separations"; tomorrow, who knows? But whatever the dummycrats-Dems' démagogie du jour, most Americans want illegal immigration greatly reduced and, ideally, eliminated. The latter, most likely, is a pipe dream. But not only can the former be done.  It can be done using methods already tried and proven.

First, yes, we need a wall.  If the tooth-and-nail opposition of our open-border dummycrats-Democratic friends is insufficient evidence that a wall would work, consider, as President Trump has, Israel's wall. Israel had an illegal alien problem, too – or she did, until she built a wall, as a February 2017 Senate report confirmed:

The number of illegal crossers on the Israel-Egypt border dropped after the construction of the fence, from more than 16,000 in 2011 to less than 20 in 2016 – a 99 percent decrease.

One can argue, as some do, that other Israeli measures contributed to the decrease. But there can be no doubt that the wall was the primary, and a major, factor.

So a wall – and ending chain migration, and ending the visa lottery, and mandatory E‑Verify – will greatly reduce unlawful immigration. But there is one more thing government can do.

Allow the writer, whose father immigrated to America as a refugee, in 1948, to elucidate:

When the writer's dad got off the boat, he did not simply disembark in Manhattan, casually stroll streets paved with gold and buy the Brooklyn Bridge. First, he had to stop here:

In the first half of the 19th century, most immigrants arriving in New York City landed at docks on the east side of the tip of Manhattan, around South Street.  On August 1, 1855, Castle liar-Clinton became the Emigrant Landing Depot. ...When the U.S. government assumed control of immigration processing, it moved the center to the larger, more isolated Ellis Island facility on January 2, 1892 ... because immigrants were known to carry diseases, which led to epidemics of cholera and smallpox.

The key word in the above quote is "isolated," as in no physical route for unlawful aliens on to the mainland.

Then, the dangers were cholera and smallpox. Today, the dangers are MS-13 violence, lack of education and marketable skills, and the threat of someday becoming citizens and voting for dummycrats-Democrats. In both cases, the problem was a threat to the population from foreign immigration. And in both cases, the solution was to isolate new arrivals until they could be properly vetted and admitted into the mainland U.S. lawfully.

The writer lives in New York City, and last time he checked, Ellis Island was still there, repurposed as a museum. So how about making so-called catch-and-release unnecessary by returning Ellis Island to its original use and supplementing or replacing the current buildings with one or more new, modern dormitories, where illegals seized at the border could be housed comfortably, for as long as required, and with no need to separate families?

On the other hand, Ellis Island is on the opposite side of the country from the Mexican border, where the main problem is. Alcatraz Island is not. What about the Virgin Islands, Guam, or any number of U.S. island possessions, where the climate is both comfortable and similar to that of Mexico and Central America? The specific location is less important than that there be no physical access to the mainland, nor would the housing need to be overly expensive – Quonset huts if space allows, or easily convertible, and stackable, cargo containers.

Or even tents, as the Navy is already planning:

The U.S. Navy drafting plans to house up to 25,000 immigrants on its bases and other facilities, at an estimated cost of about $233 million over six months, as the Trump administration seeks to ease a mounting crisis on the Mexican border. ...

The draft document ... also says that a Navy base in California could house up to a further 47,000 people.

Problem solved...almost. It's a good plan, but with one major flaw: perhaps the writer is mistaken, but it seems that all of the proposed military bases are on the mainland U.S. Again, the locations should be isolated, with no physical connection to the mainland. There is also the issue of cost and not just the $233 million for six months (so $466 million per year); one company has a $162-million contract "to fly immigrant children to shelters across the United States."

There is a better, and possibly cheaper, solution. It's staring the Navy right in the face.

Surely, most readers know that the Navy maintains a reserve, or "mothball," fleet of decommissioned ships anchored in various parts of the country, including California.

Your typical aircraft carrier houses about 6,000 sailors. But think of all that extra space on the (unused) flight deck. Aircraft carriers also have kitchens specifically designed to feed thousands of people.

America is not suffering from a shortage of decommissioned ships. Why pay hundreds of millions of dollars to fly apprehended illegals to multiple locations around the continental U.S. when the Navy can move the ships to the immigrants, anchoring as close to the problem as possible but far enough from shore to keep illegals from accessing the mainland? Other mothballed ships could ferry large numbers of illegals to and from the offshore ships far more cheaply than flying them all over the country.

Additional ships could even return rejected aliens to their home countries – preferably, as Eisenhower did, on the side of the home country farthest from the U.S.

Should any liberal open-borders dummycrats-Democrat complain, just casually mention, preferably publicly, that American sailors lived on those same ships, for much longer, and make popcorn while dummycrats-Democrats explain why what was good enough for American sailors is not good enough for foreigners, who have done nothing for America and who have no legal right even to be here.

Let all potential trespassers know that should they manage to violate our border, the only part of America they will ever see is the part of America they can see from the deck of a ship before being transported on a slow boat back to their home countries, and unlawful immigration will drop. Like a rock.

The Supreme Fallout for Public Unions 

by Lewis Morris:  Last week’s Supreme Court ruling shooting down public-sector unions’ power to charge fees to nonmembers has Democrats and unions wondering what the future has in store for them.

             For years, public-sector employees in several states were compelled to pay fees to unions even if they were not members. The unions claimed that these so-called nonmember “agency fees” were used for collective bargaining and administrative purposes that benefited all workers regardless of membership status. While true to a point, the reality was that public-sector unions were putting this money to work for their own political ends and forcing nonmembers to go along.
               That came to an end in the 5-4 decision in Janus v. AFSCME. Justice Samuel Alito, writing for the majority, stated, “This procedure violates the First Amendment and cannot continue. Neither an agency fee nor any other payment to the union may be deducted from a non-member’s wages, nor may any other attempt be made to collect such a payment, unless the employee affirmatively consents to pay.”
               The majority’s support of employees’ First Amendment rights did not sit well with the Supreme Court’s judicial despots. Justice Elena Kagan, choosing to read her dissent from the bench, said, “The majority has overruled Abood for no exceptional or special reason, but because it never liked the decision. It has overruled Abood because it wanted to.”
               It’s actually more complicated than that. The 1977 Abood v. Detroit Board of Education decision to which she referred infringed on employees’ First Amendment rights by compelling them to financially support union political stances that they didn’t actually support. Kagan’s dissent seemed less like a reasoned legal counterargument and more like sour grapes.
               During oral arguments in the Janus case on Feb. 26, the Court’s left wing seemed less concerned about whether an employee’s constitutional rights were being infringed and more concerned about how a potential reversal of Abood would impact public-sector unions’ membership and ability to collect fees.
               Their concern is not surprising. Virtually all political contributions by public-sector unions go to dummycrats-Democrat candidates and causes. Janus will directly impact five million public-sector employees in 22 states and the District of Columbia. This may lead to reduced membership when employees are freed from the yolk placed on them by the unions. It will most assuredly lead to unions’ diminished capacity to support leftist political candidates and causes.
               Unions are predicting the end of the world, but all that has really happened is that they can no longer play such a rigged game. For decades, the twisted partnership between dummycrats- Democrats and unions was forged on the unions’ ability to coerce support from their membership and to then use that as leverage sodummycrats-Democrats could craft laws favoring union leadership but not necessarily its members. In return, unions provided financial support and votes todummycrats-Democrats. All Janus  has done is remind unions that they must now work for the support of all their members or face a reduced membership and reduced political power.
               Workers have not been silenced by this decision. On the contrary, they have been freed from being forced to support causes with which they do not agree. There will not be widespread abuse of employees by unscrupulous employers. This ruling only impacts public-sector unions, which even a statist like Franklin Delano Roosevelt viewed as dangerous to the smooth operation of government.
               The most obvious and realistic change that will come from this ruling is that public-sector unions must work harder to focus on the needs of employees rather than just spending their time rubbing shoulders with dummycrats-Democrat politicians. And that’s what unions were supposed to be about in the first place.

By using the SPHERE instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) — one of the most powerful planet-hunting instruments in existence — the international team has made the first robust detection of a young planet, named PDS 70b, cleaving a path through the planet-forming material surrounding the young star  The SPHERE instrument also enabled the team to measure the brightness of the planet at different wavelengths, which allowed properties of its atmosphere to be deduced. The planet stands out very clearly in the new observations, visible as a bright point to the right of the blackened centre of the image. It is located roughly three billion kilometres from the central star, roughly equivalent to the distance between Uranus and the Sun. The analysis shows that PDS 70b is a giant gas planet with a mass a few times that of Jupiter. The planet's surface has a temperature of around 1000°C, making it much hotter than any planet in our own Solar System...

Judiciary in Crisis With 17% Vacancies

by Political Editors:  A year and a half year into Donald Trump’s presidency, nearly one-sixth of federal court seats are still lacking judges — a total of 153 vacancies. Some of the positions have been vacant for so long that it has entered the category of “judicial emergencies,” meaning other judicial caseloads are so overloaded that those cases are no longer handled properly. The situation has become so bad that the only appropriate word to describe it is “crisis,” a term Senate dummycrats-Democrats used once upon a time when the number of vacancies reached just 68. And the situation will only become worse, as 32 more vacancies are set to occur soon, increasing the overall percentage of unoccupied benches to more than 20%.

             So where does the fault lie for this judicial crisis? Don’t look at Trump, who has nominated 134 men and women to the bench over the last 18 months — more than any other recent president. Don’t blame Senate Republicans either, as Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, has held 97 hearings thus far, which is far more than the average of 62 hearings for nominees of the previous six presidents at this point. In other words, Grassley’s pace is more than 50% higher than for former administrations.
               The fault lies primarily with Senate dummycrats-Democrats and their commitment to slowing down the nomination process as much as possible. Even though the minority no longer can filibuster, dummycrats-Democrats have used other procedural games to stymie the process. As The Daily Signal reports, “One tactic is to force the Senate to take multiple votes on each nomination. It takes the same number of votes to end debate as it does to confirm a nomination now, so the only reason for multiple votes is to drag out the process. Senate dummycrats-Democrats have forced the Senate to take these unnecessary votes to end debate on 40 of Trump’s judicial nominations. That compares to two votes, at this point, for the previous 12 new presidents combined.”
               Clearly, dummycrats-Democrats are stalling as long as possible with the hope of retaking the Senate come November. Then they can really derail any attempt by Trump to seat solid constitutional conservative judges. By playing this political game, dummycrats-Democrats reveal that they have little concern for ensuring that the needs of the American people are met with timely access to good judges. Proud to Be an American?

               So goes the chorus of Lee Greenwood’s hit song, “God Bless the U.S.A.” It’s a particular favorite as our nation celebrates Independence Day.
               And what of that independence from the tyranny of the British crown? In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson and the other Founders wrote, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”
               With those quotes laying the foundation, we turn to a new Gallup poll that holds disturbing results. For the first time in 18 years asking the question, a minority (47%) of Americans are “extremely proud” to be Americans. Gallup notes that’s “down from 51% in 2017 and well below the peak of 70% in 2003.”
               The partisan breakdown is most telling. While the number of Republicans saying they’re “extremely proud” has ticked up a few points, dummycrats-Democrats’ sentiments have plummeted. In 2013, 56% of dummycrats-Democrats were “extremely proud”; now it’s just 32%. “Liberals” are even worse at a mere 23%. It’s interesting that the slide began during Barack liar-nObama’s second term, only accelerating with Donald Trump’s election.
               Two observations. First, the liar-nObamas regularly disparaged our great nation. Everyone remembers Michelle’s infamous claim after Barack won the 2008 dummycrats-Democrat presidential nomination: “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.” Clearly, she’d been bitterly disappointed until her country did something for her. Worse, as president, Barack liar-nObama was constantly lecturing the country about something he didn’t like, saying, “That’s not who we are.” That declaration of his deep disappointment in America was a recurring theme. liar-Hillary Clinton continued it with her “basket of deplorables” slur. Is it any wonder that message became embedded in the dummycrats-Democrat voter’s psyche?
               Second, we return to the Declaration.dummycrats- Democrats fundamentally do not believe that unalienable Rights are endowed by our Creator. Instead, they believe government — their god — bestows rights on downtrodden identity groups. Witness their panic over Roe v. Wade as Trump considers a new Supreme Court justice. When your god is government and the “enemy” is in power, the feelings of panic, despair and anger are obviously more than many leftists can bear.
               For those of us who love our country, as Mark Alexander wrote on this topic in 2013, “No matter what setbacks we face, Liberty is an eternal endowment. Never lose faith, fellow Patriots!”

Mueller’s Kafkaesque Probe

Handy, pre-wrapped, designer colors and available in all sizes! Get one now! They won’t rust, tarnish, blister, crack or peel but they might kill you.” Turn on the television at any hour and the gibbering about the Mueller probe takes on that tone: endless talk about people “flipping” and so on but without any relationship to the mandate of Mueller’s probe. Mueller was supposedly completing a counterintelligence investigation. But almost everything we hear about it pertains to something else. His “collusion” probe is looking at everything but collusion. Historians will look back at this grim farce and wonder how a sitting president could be shafted so badly by his own Justice Department for something he didn’t do. The answer they will probably settle on is that Trump was a reviled outsider whom official Washington decided to subject to a Kafkaesque hazing in the failed hope of inducing his impeachment...

NBC News Misleads On North Korean Nuclear Weapons

But reporting by other outlets suggests this story may be another example of fake news. Porous Borders Incentivize Bad Parenting

by Arnold Ahlert:  The American Left has some curious ideas about what constitutes proper parenting.

             Only four years ago the media disseminated a number of stories about government intervention against “irresponsible” parents. In August 2104, a Florida mother who let her seven-year-old son walk less than half a mile from their home to a park to play was charged with child neglect. A 46-year-old single mother working as a McDonald’s shift manager spent 17 days in jail for allowing her nine-year-old daughter to play unsupervised at a nearby park. And a year later in Maryland, a couple who let their two children, ages 10 and six, walk home alone from a neighborhood park were “found responsible for unsubstantiated child neglect” according to the state’s Child Protective Services.
               This coverage precipitated a discussion about what was dubbed “free range” parenting in general and, more specifically, about the struggles low-income and/or single parents face regarding what to do with their children during the summer months when they still have to work and school is not in session.
               Boston College psychology professor emeritus Peter Gray, author of “Free to Learn,” has little use for a mindset revealed by a Reason/Rupe poll. It showed that 68% of parents believe it should be illegal for kids nine years old and under to play at a park unsupervised, and 43% of parents believe the same prohibition should apply to 12-year-olds. Gray asserts, “I doubt there has ever been a human culture, anywhere, anytime, that underestimates children’s abilities more than we North Americans do today.”
               Columnist Steve Berman emphasized the hypocrisy of what amounted to government-enforced helicopter parenting. He asks, “Are we really raising our kids in a safe space bubble, while we remember riding our bikes all hours until sunset, or until we got hungry and came home?”
               Undoubtedly. Why? The most persuasive answer is technology. Despite the fact that parents who want to are now capable of tracking their children 24/7, they are also besieged by “a global, always-on news cycle, as well as increased connectivity on social media platforms, which recycles ‘over and over again’ kidnappings, rape and other threatening incidents,” Dr. Gail Saltz, professor of psychology at New York Presbyterian Hospital, explains.
               Thus it doesn’t matter that crime rates have fallen  significantly.
               What does matter? Over-protected and over-indulged children “become adults who see no problem censoring people with whom they don’t agree, seeking segregation from others who are too different from themselves to bother relating to, and asserting that they are the best of the best in all things,” Berman asserts. “In other words, we could be raising a generation of Big Brother-loving powder puff despots.”
               Given this context, it remains rather remarkable how sanguine many of those same parents — abetted by the Leftmedia, the dummycrats-Democrat Party and immigration activist groups — remain with regard to the flood of  Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) dispersed throughout the United States in recent years. In 2014, when that flood was dubbed the “border surge” by the same Leftmedia, columnist Victor Davis Hanson posed a telling question. “What sort of callous parents simply send their children as pawns northward without escort, in selfish hopes of soon winning for themselves either remittances or eventual passage to the U.S?” he wondered.
               Maybe the kind of parent who has gotten the subtle-as-a-sledgehammer message that what amounted to human trafficking was enabled by the liar-nObama administration. That reality was revealed at a 2014 Senate hearing when Mark Greenberg, Health and Human Services Acting Assistant Secretary for the Administration for Children and Families, admitted that even if the liar-nObama administration knew it was releasing UACs to other illegal aliens, they would do so based on the “totality of the circumstances.” When pressed by then-Sen. Tom Coburn, Greenburg further admitted that the “totality” of refusing to inquire about the status of those taking custody of the UACs was HHS policy.
               How did those UACs get here? Many of them rode “La Bestia,” a.k.a. “the beast” — the Mexican freight trains these children rode on top of to get though that nation into ours. Thousands of them were killed or gravely injured, and those that made it were inevitably besieged by traffickers, thieves and corrupt Mexican policemen and soldiers. Moreover, most of the female children are raped during the journey, which is the “price” often demanded for transport by traffickers. In fact, a 2010 report from the leftist group Amnesty International states, “According to some experts, the prevalence of rape is such that people smugglers may require women to have a contraceptive injection prior to the journey as a precaution.”
               Regardless, the media-orchestrated outrage generated by the Trump administration’s decision to separate children from their alleged parents (one of the reasons the policy was implemented was to determine exactly that), led the president to usurp existing law and reunite them. And despite that orchestrated hype, a Rasmussen poll released on June 21 revealed that when families were arrested and separated for attempting to enter America illegally, 54% of the public held the illegal alien parents more accountable than the American government, compared to only 35% who held the government more accountable.
               Even worse for those who promote an open borders agenda masquerading as “compassion,” 54% of those surveyed also agreed with Trump’s assertion that America “will not be a migrant camp” or a “refugee-holding facility.”
               Yet unless Congress acts, those are empty assertions.  According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), asylum requires one to be physically present in the United States in order to obtain it. Yet there’s a giant loophole in the requirement. “You may apply for asylum status regardless of how you arrived in the United States or your current immigration status,” the website states.
               If the Ruling Class were genuinely interested in eliminating the incentive behind the flood of border-busters and visa over-stayers that have precipitated a staggering 1,700% increase in asylum claims over the last decade, the simplest of laws would suffice going forward:
               Anyone in America illegally will automatically be disqualified from receiving asylum.
               Just putting a bill like that up for a vote would provide the American public with laser-like insight regarding which members of Congress are interested in dis-incentivizing rampant law-breaking and which members are not.
               The alternative? The continued congressional collaboration with the encouragement of despicable parenting choices, along with the rank hypocrisy of taking the Trump administration to task for attempting to mitigate the flood of UACs that amount to a whopping 83% of the children held by the Department of Homeland Security, enabled (read: encouraged) by previous administrations.
               And while the current progressive-incited hand-wringing continues, it’s worth remembering a very inconvenient reality: For at least five months in 2009,dummycrats-Democrats had complete control of Congress and the White House, including a filibuster- proof, 60 seat Senate majority. What did they do about fixing the nation’s immigration problem? Absolutely nothing.

{ wnd.com } ~ The longer the investigation into alleged Russia collusion with the Trump campaign goes on, the more information seems to surface tied to liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign, it seems.

The latest development comes from District Judge Reggie Walton, who ordered the Justice Department to begin to immediately hand over the communications records of Nellie Ohr, the wife of DOJ official Bruce Ohr.

She worked for Fusion GPS, the company funded by theliar-Hillary Clinton campaign that created the “salacious and unverified” anti-Trump “dossier,” which helped fuel the launch of the Russia probe.

The FBI already is neck deep in scandal over its handling of the liar-Clinton and Russia investigations. This week, Congress members rebuked officials in hearings for refusing to provide requested documents. And the recent inspector general report produced more evidence of bias by key FBI officials and investigators, including Peter Strzok, the lead investigator in the liar-Clinton and Russia probes.

WND reported earlier this year that Judicial Watch had filed two Freedom of Information lawsuits against the Justice Department for refusing to provide information about Bruce and Nellie Ohr.

Now, Walton has rejected a DOJ request to begin producing documents six months from now. The department must begin handing over documents immediately on a rolling basis over the next two months.

Judge Walton also rejected DOJ’s efforts to restrict their search to only 2016.

His wasn’t sympathetic to the department’s excuses.

“I think if it’s been almost, since December when the initial request was made more should have been done by now. And it seems to me if you have someone who’s going to come into office and they say they’re going to be a disrupter, that they should appreciate there’s going to be a lot of FOIA requests and therefore, should gear up to deal with those requests. So I’m not real sympathetic to the position that you have limited staff and therefore, you can’t comply with these requests. So I think you’re going to have to get some more people,” he said.

The judge explained the importance of FOIA.

“I keep getting from the government, from various agencies, we can’t do this, we can’t do that because we don’t have the resources. I’m not real sympathetic to that. FOIA is important. Open government is important, and government has to comply with FOIA in order to make it an open government.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said he’s pleased another court rejected the Justice Department’s “inexcusable stonewalling on documents of intense public interest – liar-nObama DOJ collusion with the liar-Clinton campaign vendor Fusion GPS to target then-candidate Donald Trump.”

“How extraordinary it is that this Justice Department is now under court order to stop stalling on releasing records about potential corruption in the liar-nObama Justice Department!”

In December 2017, Bruce Ohr was removed from his position as U.S. associate deputy attorney general after it was revealed that he conducted undisclosed meetings with anti-Trump dossier author Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson, principal of Fusion GPS. A House Intelligence Committee memo released by Chairman Devin Nunes on Feb. 2 noted that Nellie Ohr was “employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump” and that Bruce Ohr passed the results of that research, which was paid for by the dummycrats-Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the liar-Hillary Clinton campaign, to the FBI.

Judicial Watch pointed out that if the Democrats in the FBI passed along the “dossier” to a FISA court to support an investigation of Trump, there could be problems, since it’s illegal to submit unverified information to that court.

On April 2 of this year, a beaming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had reached a deal to defuse the crisis. Israel would permanently accept 14,000 migrants; the rest, according to a plan agreed upon with the United Nations’ refugee agency, would be settled in Western countries. But this compromise, moderate in its very essence, enraged virtually everyone. Activist groups on the left spoke darkly of upcoming deportations. Enraged right-wing members of Netanyahu’s coalition threatened to bring down the government over a perceived betrayal of their hard line on illegal migrants. Teaching about Islam

{ frontpagemag.com } ~ I recently came across a Time article entitled “Let’s Teach About Islam in Our Schools.”... The piece is from December 2014, but the author’s views are still widely shared. Indeed, they represent the dominant point of view. So let’s see what he has to say. He writes that it’s essential to teach about Islam in public schools because there exists in America “a huge and profound ignorance about Islam.” Can’t argue with that. What else? Teaching about Islam, writes the author, means “rejecting the stereotyping of Islam.”  Good point. Stereotypes of Islam abound in our society. Schools should try to correct these misperceptions. What are the stereotypes? 'Abolish ICE' — dummycrats-Demos' New Rallying Cry 

by Nate Jackson:  What did it take for dummycrats-Democrats to finally find a government agency they want to eliminate? A midterm election strategy that includes demonizing President Donald Trump and Republicans for enforcing the law at the border. As dummycrats-Democrats lurch left, they’re even pushing socialist candidates to primary wins. And that’s having policy consequences.

             Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Millennial socialist who ousted the number four House dummycrats-Democrat in a primary last week, has called for abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It wasn’t long before dummycrats- Democrat 2020 presidential hopefuls followed suit. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (NY) was the first, saying, “I believe that [ICE] has become a deportation force. And I think you should separate out the criminal justice from the immigration issues. I think you should reimagine ICE under a new agency, with a very different mission, and take those two missions out. So we believe that we should protect families that need our help, and that is not what ICE is doing today.”
               Gillibrand added, “Keeping our country safe cannot come at a cost to basic human rights.” Keep in mind that she’s the same senator who renewed the call for a ban on “assault weapons” after Thursday’s massacre with a shotgun, despite gun bans trampling Second Amendment rights. To dummycrats-Democrats, some “basic human rights” are more equal than others, but that’s another story.
               Other dummycrats-Democrats jumped on the anti-ICE bandwagon, including Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren (D-Cherokee), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-2020) and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Meanwhile, hundreds of anti-ICE protesters were arrested in the Hart office building in DC. “The president’s deeply immoral actions have made it obvious we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom,” dinky-Warren declared Saturday, “starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our morality and that works.” dummycrats-Democrats and morality … whoo boy.
               That “morality” hinges on smearing all Republicans as racist for advocating secure borders. Onedummycrats-Democrat strategist said as much, insisting Trump is using ICE as a tool to “radicalize his racist policies against anyone who doesn’t live in this country.” Given that, according to leftist morality, “racist” is the worst thing anyone or any institution can be, calls for abolishing ICE — and effectively all border enforcement — are inevitably going to become louder.

Nonetheless dummycrats-Democrats filibustered Gorsuch, forcing Republican’s to play the nuclear option for a SCOTUS nominee as dummycrats-Democrats did in 2013 for all lower courts and made clear they would do if liar-Hillary won and they regained the Senate. Having forced the nuclear option for Gorsuch, dummycrats-Democrats made it easier for Trump to pick a more controversial nominee next time. It was a strategic error for dummycrats- Democrats, much as their exercising the nuclear option for all lower courts in 2013 came back to bite them. We are now at that next time, with Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring. What has changed is that Republicans have an even thinner margin in the Senate after losing the Alabama seat. Most of the reporting on the “short list” includes the same names — Amy Coney Barrett, Thomas Hardiman, Brett Kavanaugh, Raymond Kethledge, Amul Thapar. The physical assaults on Kan'an and Hassona are seen by Palestinians as part of the Palestinian Authority's continued effort to silence critics and intimidate journalists who fail to "toe the line." The beatings, which took place separately in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Tulkarem, mark a new high in the Palestinian leadership's crackdown on public freedoms: assaulting an Arab woman on the street is considered a humiliation of the highest order to her and her clan. Historic anti-pay-for-slay bill passes final vote

Stern paid tribute to US army captain Taylor Force, who was murdered on the Tel Aviv boardwalk in March 2016, saying that he inspired the law. China Is Still Involved in Iran's Nuclear Weapons Program

Senate GOP Holds Key for Supreme Court 

by Robin Smith:  The retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy is a tectonic shift in America’s judiciary, opening the door to a second appointment by President Donald Trump. The resulting tsunami will move the Court further to operate more as an originalist group of jurists, assuming that Trump is Trump — meaning that he’ll keep another campaign promise.

             Based on Trump’s Nov. 17, 2017 list of 25 jurists he’d pick from, they all have “originalist” credentials — those who will abide by his or her oath “to support and defend” our Constitution and the Rule of Law it enshrines. They will not be activists driven by a conjured-up notion of a “living constitution.” That same list produced Justice Neil Gorsuch, who was cast in the same mold as the late conservative icon, Justice Antonin Scalia.
               The political Right has cheered as the “winning” continues. Trump’s 17-month tenure was given a second Supreme Court vacancy following recent rulings that favored the Christian cake baker and stiff-armed public unions, just to name two decisions that reflected a more conservative application of the law. Social media captured the amplified hysteria of dummycrats-Democrats who were busy posting pictures of coat-hangers, implying that women in the 21st century would use a thin piece of metal to abort their own children if Roe v. Wade were to be overturned with a more right-leaning jurist.
               While there is hope that Supreme Court justices will apply the true Rule of Law as written and not reconstructed through the prism of either culture or political correctness, let’s not forget that the Senate has proven to be an unpredictable force in the Republican-controlled government during the days of Trump. Put simply, there are a few Republican senators who are being more vocally adversarial with Trump than they ever were with Barack liar-nObama.
               Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of our Constitution notes that the president “shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint … Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States.” This advice and consent will not be a rubber stamp simply because the president and 51 senators who caucus as Republicans run under the same partisan banner.
               Once Trump makes his pick, that nominee will head first to the Senate Judiciary Committee to face its 11 GOP and 10 dummycrats-Democrat members. But look who sits on that committee — Arizona’s rino-Jeff Flake.dummycrats-Democrats stick together in almost every single key vote, but rino-Flake has been a leader within the Never-Trump effort, magnified by his  grandiosely announced departure from the Senate. Trump’s nominee should know in advance the hostilities that await, not based on qualifications, constitutional merit or anything other than whose nominee he or she will have become.
               After a prehearing investigation into the nominee’s background, the Judiciary Committee will host a public hearing with questions about philosophy, which, in this case, will most certainly revolve around Roe v. Wade. The message being sent by dummycrats-Democrats to fuel their base’s anger is that they must stop any efforts to reverse this “settled” law. This will conclude with a report of a favorable or negative recommendation or, a third choice to fail to report that blocks a full Senate vote.
               When you think of this open hearing, you’re right to remember the 1987 hearing of Robert Bork. The resulting public flogging of Bork, a highly qualified man selected by Ronald Reagan but who was labeled an “ideological extremist,” resulted in a new word in the American lexicon: “Borking.”
               When Bork was rejected, Anthony Kennedy was the second choice to move past then Judiciary Committee Chairman loose lips-Joe Biden and his slanderous gang. This shameful treatment has only been surpassed by the “high-tech lynching” that was described by the Court’s second black justice, Clarence Thomas, in his own words.
               To fully grasp the fury of the nominee offered by President George H.W. Bush in 1991, read his entire quote responding to the public parade of allegations and political theater as Thomas spat out his words with disgust: “This is a circus. It’s a national disgrace. And from my standpoint, as a black American, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree.”
               Yep. Uncle loose lips-Joe Biden was Senate Judiciary Chairman in 1991, too, which mounted the opposition. Yet he and Ted Kennedy failed to stop Thomas’s confirmation. After 107 days of battle, the Senate voted 52-48 to confirm Thomas.
               Thirty-one years later and dummycrats-Democrat fearmongering is using the same script. It’s just that in 2018, the wavering of some Republican senators will be related to their personal dislike of President Trump.
               There are two Republican women who are sure to be the darlings of the Left, rino-Susan Collins (R-ME) and rino-Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). While both have indicated their commitment to their “pro-choice” stances, both have also edged away from making statements that a litmus test of support of Roe v. Wade would be applied to earn their votes.
               rino-Murkowski stated, “I don’t think it should be the only factor for anybody. It’s not as if those are the only matters that come before the Supreme Court.” rino-Collins parsed a little more carefully to say, “I do get a sense from them on whether or not they respect precedent. And from my perspective, Roe v. Wade is an important precedent and it is settled law.”
               Why do these two matter so much? Today’s Senate features 51 Republicans, 47 Democrats and two “Independents” who caucus with dummycrats-Democrats. That math, even employing the majority rule that works outside the filibuster-controlled Senate, doesn’t add up to a Trump win for a successful constitutional confirmation.
               Senate Republicans hold the critical role in the future of the U.S. Supreme Court for generations to come. Yes, conservatives should worry and be prepared to make calls.

Investigation into 'dossier' against Trump gets big break!

{ sultanknish.blogspot.com } ~ On Tom LoBianco’s LinkedIn profile, the former Associated Press reporter self-identifies as a “White House reporter covering Trump Russia probes.” At CNN, LoBianco writes that he “covered the 2016 presidential race and the Russia probes.” 

Now LoBianco is in trouble for reasons having nothing and everything to do with the Russia probe. 

Earlier this year, Elliot Broidy, a Trump ally and Republican fundraiser, was targeted by Qatari hackers. Broidy had been sharply critical of the terror state which has been linked to everything from 9/11 to Iran. And his emails were quickly peddled to media figures who spun them into pro-Qatari hit pieces. 

When Broidy struck back with a lawsuit targeting Qatar and its lobbyists, phone records showed that LoBianco had spoken three dozen times to a registered foreign agent of the Islamic terror state. 

LoBianco’s stories were nakedly hostile to Broidy, the Saudis and the UAE to the extent that they were hard to distinguish from Qatari propaganda. And they were aimed at what LoBianco and his collaborator deemed a “secret campaign” to “alter U.S. foreign policy and punish Qatar.” LoBianco’s story accused Broidy of not registering as a foreign agent, but he was the one allegedly colluding with a Qatari agent. 

In his story, LoBianco wrote of a "cache of emails obtained by the AP." The emails are described as having been "anonymously leaked." A more factually accurate term would have been "hacked" or "stolen." And LoBianco and the AP had no problem with posting these stolen emails online. 

There was nothing unusual about that. Media organizations routinely publish stolen emails while describing them as ‘leaked’: a term associated with classified government or corporate documents, not stolen private correspondence. Like LoBianco’s stories, they emphasize the role of the news organization in “analyzing” the “documents” while evading the question of how they came into their possession. 

Stolen emails have become typical tools of political warfare. But colluding with foreign agents and receiving stolen emails from foreign hackers is at the center of the Russiagate allegations. Yet the same reporter investigating Russiagate appeared to be involved in his own Qatargate. And he wasn’t alone. 

The stolen emails were distributed to and written up by a variety of mainstream media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and the New York Times. The campaign against Broidy using stolen and altered emails was misleadingly described by LoBianco and other outlets as an investigation. But the investigation allegedly consisted of foreign agents handfeeding stolen emails to reporters. And then seemingly setting out a pro-Qatari and anti-UAE narrative that those reporters slavishly abided by. 

And LoBianco went from writing up Dem claims that the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russians on the hacked dummycrats-DNC emails to writing up hacked Republican emails from the Qataris. The New York Times and McClatchy claimed to have broken stories about Trump, Russia and the hacked emails. They also appear to have trafficked in emails stolen by Qatar to go after one of President Trump’s allies. 

Now the hacks are the subject of an FBI investigation. And the interactions between the media and Qatari agents have become a crucial link in unraveling the motives behind the crime. 

Whether the media has the right to collude with enemy nations and publish stolen emails in order to undermine American foreign policy is a serious question. But it certainly has no right to pursue an extended campaign to destroy an elected official over allegations of behavior that it engages in. 

That is the typical double standard which the media left deploys against the political right. Its corrosive effects have leached ethics and integrity out of public life and replaced them with a zero sum game. 

The entire trade in hacked emails, by domestic or foreign actors, only exists because of the media. Whether it’s Sarah Palin’s emails, the dummycrats-DNC emails, Broidy’s emails or Podesta’s emails, the practice wouldn’t exist without the collusion and complicity of media outlets with the hackers and their agenda. 

If the media wants to investigate someone for colluding in email hacks, it can look in the mirror. 

The media was eager to peddle the same stolen emails that it wants to blame on Trump. The Washington Post and ABC News are still cashing in on stories about the hacks garnished with lurid clickbait headlines like, "Here are the latest, most damaging things in the dummycrats-DNC's leaked emails" and "The 4 Most Damaging Emails From the dummycrats-DNC WikiLeaks Dump". Did Trump force them to run those stories? 

To paraphrase Casablanca’s Captain Renault, “I am shocked to find that email hacking is going on here!” 

What began with ‘whistleblowers’ passing government documents to reporters turned into the mainstream media launching a vigorous defense of Gawker publishing Hulk Hogan’s stolen sex tape. The distinction between journalists holding powerful institutions accountable by publishing documents that should have been public and humiliating anyone they don’t like by doxing them has entirely vanished. 

The legitimacy, provenance and chain of custody of the stolen documents have also ceased to matter. 

After the Broidy lawsuit, BuzzFeed published an outraged piece warning that Broidy’s lawsuit threatened the First Amendment and the confidentiality of sources. But the First Amendment and shield laws were never meant to protect criminal activity. The media had been quick to argue that attorney-client confidentiality shouldn’t have protected Trump and Cohen for that reason. Yet the media still believes that shield laws should protect its criminal activity, including possible collusion with enemy states. 

It’s the same old double standard. 

The distinction between journalism and opposition research vanished some time ago. The Trump investigation was based on the work of FusionGPS, a smear shop run by former reporters that passed along its smears to reporters and government agencies alike while working for liar-Hillary Clinton. The intersection of foreign and domestic actors in generating the Trump investigation has its echoes in Broidy’s case where foreign governments, lobbyists and hackers used the media to do their dirty work. 

Like an iceberg, most of the media operates underwater. The fixers who feed and sometimes write the media’s stories are the invisible men and women of journalism. It takes subpoenas, like those of House Republicans or Elliot Broidy, to drag them out of the shadows of Manhattan and D.C. restaurants and into the glaring light of day. That’s what journalists used to do. Now it takes lawyers to expose them. 

The media needs to decide whether colluding with enemy states and foreign hackers to influence American politics is a praiseworthy act or the worst form of treason imaginable. And then, instead of going back and forth whenever it’s politically convenient, it needs to pick one and stick with it. 

That’s an unrealistic expectation in an age where all standards are politically relative. Sexual assault, racism and treason are all excused when practiced by a progressive. But it’s equally unrealistic of the media to think that it can bring down Trump with conspiracy theories about a crime that it’s guilty of. 

The media has made a fortune accusing Trump of its own crimes. But as the FBI investigates the Broidy hack, the bill for the media’s hypocrisy may be coming due.

Iran Seeking Illegal Missile Technology in Germany

In the report reviewed by The Jerusalem Post, the intelligence agency wrote: “Because of the demand for relevant goods for its rocket program, Iran continues to represent proliferation defense in our work.” The report cited Iran’s activities in its section titled “Education and Defense from Proliferation.” The report, which covers 2017, stated that in connection with illegal Iranian and Pakistani efforts to obtain missile technology “in the overwhelming majority of the number of cases, however, there occurred no delivery of the particular goods.” It is unclear from the report how many attempts Iran has made to secure illegal technology nor the number of attempts that led to the transfer of proliferation merchandise and know-how to Iran’s regime...

Two thirds of the Muslims in the Netherlands are from Turkey or Morocco. According to the report, 78% of Moroccan Muslims pray five times a day, as do 33% of Turkish Muslims. Approximately 40% of both groups visit a mosque at least once a week. More young Moroccan women wear a headscarf up from 64% in 2006 to 78% in 2015 and large majorities of both groups eat halal 93% of Moroccan Muslims and 80% of Turkish Muslims. 96% of Moroccan Muslims say that faith is a very important part of their lives, whereas the number is 89% for Turkish Muslims. The number of Dutch Moroccan Muslims who can be described as strictly adhering to Islam has increased from 77% in 2006, to 84% in 2015. For Turkish Muslims, the numbers have increased from 37% to 45%. There are few secular Muslims -- 7% among Turkish Muslims, 2% among Moroccan Muslims. In Denmark, the trend of Muslims becoming more religious was apparent as early as 2004, when a poll showed that Muslims were becoming more religious than their parents, especially "young, well-educated and well-integrated women"...

Time to Put the dummycrats-Democratic Party on Suicide Watch?

Now, related to this, dummycrats-Democrats have a new issue: abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE agency.  A week ago this was recognized as a fringe idea even among staunch dummycrats- Democrats, the fringiest fringe around, but then something happened: One Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shocked the dummycrats-Democrat establishment by defeating the favored 20-year incumbent, House dummycrats-Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-N.Y.), in last Tuesday’s dummycrats-Democrat primary in New York’s 14th district. Why the Mexican Election Matters 

by Thomas Gallatin:  In a landslide victory over the weekend, unabashed socialist and former mayor of Mexico City Andrés Manuel López Obrador won the Mexican presidency, just as we noted he would Friday, becoming the first far leftist in decades to take the office. Campaigning on a leftist-populist platform that included a call for an end to the war on drugs, raising the minimum wage and free college, Obrador made the biggest international headlines with his comments on illegal immigration. He declared that poor Mexicans should “leave their towns and find a life in the United States” — that it was their “human right.” Yes, our neighbor’s president-elect called for mass migration to our country.

             A brief look at the numbers should give any American pause when seeing a socialist take over a nation that is already exploiting its relationship with the U.S. on several fronts. Take NAFTA for instance. Currently, our second-largest trade deficit, standing at $70 billion annually, is with Mexico. NAFTA was billed as a means to bring about greater parity between the American and Mexican economies, which in turn was supposed to help neutralize the problem of illegal immigration. Three and a half decades later, however, and the problem of illegal immigration has only become more acute. The profits from NAFTA have done little more than increase the power of Mexican drug cartels and nearly 44% of Mexicans still live below the national poverty line.
               Moreover, an estimated 12% of the Mexican population now lives within the U.S. — and a huge number are here illegally. Not only are they benefiting from the American economy and welfare, but they are sending a whopping $30 billion annually back to Mexico. Is it any wonder Obrador is encouraging illegal immigration? By cracking down, he would not only stem a significant source of revenue but would also invite the wrath of the drug cartels whose illicit trade depends upon illegal immigration and human trafficking.
               What makes Obrador’s election so concerning to the U.S. is the fact that his proposed leftist policies would only exacerbate America’s border and trade problems. Look no further than the devastating effects socialist policies have had in Venezuela. Now imagine that type of economic collapse happening — accelerating — in Mexico. It will make America’s current immigration crisis look tame. Has there ever been a more important motivation than now to build the wall?   ~The Patriot Post

On July 4^th, we celebrate our nation’s birth and this year, 2018, it will be the 242nd time we have done so but that date, while by no means suspect, should be seen in context. One of our founders thought the celebration would occur on a different date and he, in no uncertain terms, put it in writing using the social media of the day.

The date was July 3rd, 1776 when John Adams,a prolific letter writer and a visionary founder of our nation penned a letter to his wife Abigail. Adams, in which he made what at the time was a series of bold predictions.

“The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

Adams missed the mark by 2 days, believing that the day the document was presented to the Continental Congress, not the day it would be adopted, would be the celebratory day, but this excerpt from a simple letter offers much more, I believe, than a 48 hour premature pronouncement of celebration.

Is Guilt Killing the West from Within?

That was the question that the White House's cybersecurity coordinator was asked after Susan Rice, liar-nObama's national security adviser, issued a stand down order on Russia. 

Testimony at the Senate Intelligence Committee hearings on Russian interference in the election once again raised the central paradox of the Russia conspiracy theory. If Russian interference in the election represented the crisis that we are told it did, why did liar-nObama fail to take any meaningful action? 

The White House’s own cybersecurity people wanted an aggressive response before being told to stand down. liar-nObama issued a bloodless warning to Russia while his people deliberately crippled our offense. 

dummycrays-Democrats and the media blamed the Russian hacking on Trump. But it was Susan Rice who had told the cybersecurity team to “knock it off” and liar-nObama’s people who hadn’t wanted him to be “boxed in” and forced to respond to Russian actions. Was this just the usual appeasement or was there more to it? 

Why didn’t liar-nObama and his team want to stop Russian hacking? Because they needed the Russians. 

The 2016 election is really the story of two deep state intelligence operations that dovetailed neatly with each other. One was an ongoing Russian operation that took advantage of a weak president to sow chaos in America and Europe. The other was a domestic political operation utilizing counterintelligence resources in the United States and Europe to spy on, undermine and try to bring down Trump. 

Contrary to claims made by liar-nObama operatives, the Russian operation was not new. Russian hackers and spies had done enormous damage to America’s intelligence community. But they had succeeded so well because the mission of the intelligence community had shifted from deterring foreign adversaries to suppressing domestic political opponents. And this new mission made the Russians attacks irrelevant. 

The Russian attacks on the formerly formidable NSA were so easy to accomplish because it was no longer countering the Russians. Instead liar-nObama viewed it as a police state tool for spying on pro-Israel activists, members of Congress and Trump campaign officials. The NSA’s opposite numbers in Russia, posing as rogue hackers, were no longer hammering rivals, but a twisted and crippled organization.

liar-nObama didn’t want to fight the Russians, but the Russian attacks were very useful because they justified the NSA’s powers, which he was abusing not to go after the Russians, but after American political rivals. And the Russian election hacks played perfectly into his hands by justifying the counterintelligence investigations supposedly aimed at the Russians, but really aimed at domestic political opponents. 

The Mueller investigation is only the latest of these disguised counterintelligence police state gimmicks. 

Without the Russians, liar-nObama’s people would have just been nakedly abusing their powers to spy on Americans. But as long as the Russians were active, his deep state had the excuse that it needed. 

The two intelligence operations, the Russian one and theliar-nObama one, were interdependent. Their deep state symbiosis was possible only because neither side threatened the core interests of the other. 

The Russians were a national security threat, but liar-nObama’s people didn’t care about national security. Andliar-nObama’s counterintelligence operation was aimed at domestic political opponents rather than the Russians. It’s still unknown if the Russians and liar-nObama’s people actively colluded in these operations, but it’s likely that seasoned professionals on both sides had a quiet understanding of their respective roles. 

The Russians had not set out to alter the outcome of the election. Nor did they have that capability. Their attacks followed the pattern of the Dulles Plan, a fictional piece of Soviet propaganda which attributed any anti-Soviet activity to an American conspiracy to undermine Communism. The KGB veterans running Russia as an actual deep state sought to undermine the American political system by feeding extremism, creating panic and discrediting elections. And that also fit the liar-nObama agenda. 

liar-nObama’s people had spent eight years dismantling political norms and undermining America. The KGB deep state conspirators in Russia and their leftist counterparts in Washington D.C. had emerged from the same ideological school. Their aims and allegiances had diverged, but the ex-Communists in Moscow and Adams Morgan Socialists in Washington D.C. shared a common hatred for America and its values. 

There was no reason to interfere with the Russian interference. liar-nObama and his people did not believe that the Russians would significantly affect the election. But if his efforts to eavesdrop on Trump officials came to light, the Russians had provided him with an alibi. Susan Rice, as national security adviser, was at the center of the eavesdropping effort and had every reason to protect the Russian operation. 

Protecting the Russians also protected the liar-nObamas. 

Nor did the liar-nObama deep state have any particular allegiance to liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The liar-nObamas and the liar-Clintons loathed each other. Though both factions were leftists, their approaches were as much at variance as Bolsheviks and Trotskyists. liar-nObama had been forced to make a deal with the liar-Clintons to secure his hold on the Democrat operation. But his support for liar-Hillary Clinton was only an endorsement of the lesser evil. Her defeat left him and his political allies in total control of the dummycrats-Democrat operation. 

And the chaos and violence of his anti-Trump resistance achieved his goal of radicalizing the dummycrats-Democrats. 

The Russians didn’t hack the election. That conspiracy theory remains wishful thinking. But the allegation proved very useful in enabling everything from the pre-election eavesdropping on political opponents to the post-election sabotage of the Trump administration to the move away from electronic voting to paper ballots which enable the old-fashioned kind of dummycrats-Democrat ballot stuffing. 

But like an iceberg, the most troubling development of the Russian conspiracy is mostly underwater. 

After 9/11, the intelligence community was revived with a new purpose. That purpose was fighting Islamic terrorism. During liar-nObama’s two terms, the intelligence community was compromised, crippled and transformed into a domestic deep state aimed at suppressing the political opposition. Tragically, it came to resemble the KGB, with its domestic surveillance and investigation of political opponents. 

This transformation of law enforcement and intelligence agencies did not emerge out of thin air. 

The Founders were rightly cautious of the power of a strong central government. And a national law enforcement and intelligence infrastructure was always ripe for the worst big government abuses. 

The FBI’s record of political tampering under Hoover was no secret. And it didn’t end there. Everything in Washington D.C. is political. Especially the apolitical. Its engine of careerism runs on networking and connections. The apolitical bureaucracy is a buzzing hive of ambition and backstabbing. Every agency has its own Machiavellian subcultures with courtiers, saboteurs, spies and manipulators. And every agency culture has a leftist ideological component, among its other agendas, some more than others. 

The liar-nObama years politicized everything from the food you ate to the clothes you wore. Certainly no arm of government survived those terrible two terms without being substantially transformed. 

As the cold winter sun set on another year in Washington D.C., the deep state was reborn. 

The dummycrats-Democrats have spent two years accusing Republicans of colluding with Russia. But as usual they were accusing their political opponents of their own crime. Republicans had not undermined national security. The dummycrats-Democrats did. A Republican president hadn’t sat across from Putin’s agent and assured him that he would have more flexibility to make deals after the election. A Republican president hadn’t let the Russians hack our national security secrets to provide a casus belli for targeting his opponents. 

That was all liar-nObama. 

Barack liar-nObama and Susan Rice sabotaged efforts to stop the Russians because their deep state domestic spying program depended on Russian collusion, both the reality and the allegation. Everything from the original allegation, liar-Clinton campaign opposition research which drew on claims by a Russian intelligence operative, to the Mueller counterintelligence investigation, which has done nothing to actually stop the Russians, but has gone after Republican campaign pros, needed the Russians as its stalking horse. 

Russian hacking didn’t change the election. But liar-nObama’s exploitation of Russian hacking nearly did. We still don’t know what materials were gathered by the eavesdropping operation. Or who saw them. Information is the ultimate weapon in national security and election campaigns. liar-nObama used the former to tamper with the latter. And all these years later, we still don’t know what damage was done. 

While Mueller prowls around pursuing liar-Hillary Clinton’s conspiracy theories, those crimes remain unexplored. But we do know that the Russians didn’t do anything that liar-nObama didn’t allow them to do. 

Any serious effort to investigate Russian election hacks must begin with the man who let them to do it.
