The Real Obstruction Is Coming From the DOJ/FBI 

by Thomas Gallatin:  On what grounds is the Robert Mueller investigation continuing? The fact is the recent inspector general report has essentially knocked the legs out from under the stated basis for the special counsel. No credible evidence of any Donald Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy has turned up, and the primary impetuous for the whole charge of collusion is known to be the dubious liar-Hillary Clinton-funded Christopher Steele dossier. Yet Mueller continues apparently directing his investigation toward an obstruction charge. That was clearly the original and admitted desire of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and the excuse given for his unethical behavior in leaking his Trump memos to the press.

             National Review’s Andrew McCarthy argues, “Under the rationale adopted by the IG with the implicit endorsement of the Justice Department, there is no basis for a prosecutor to investigate the president for obstruction. Even if it were the special counsel’s place to analyze the chief executive’s motivation in exercising his constitutional prerogatives (and it is not), there were patently legitimate reasons to support the president’s actions; in light of his broad discretion, the Justice Department must assume he acted on them.” McCarthy adds, “If the Justice Department accepts IG Horowitz’s premise that it must not second-guess the discretionary decision-making of FBI and Department officials when there are legitimate grounds to support their decisions, on what basis may a special counsel second-guess the president’s decision-making when — as [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein himself has argued with respect to Comey — there are legitimate grounds to support the president’s decisions?”
               So, again, why is the Mueller investigation continuing? The answer appears to be twofold. First, certain individuals within the Justice Department and FBI don’t want their actions and decisions publicly scrutinized. As a result, if anyone can be seriously accused of engaging in obstruction it is the DOJ/FBI. Both agencies have continued the practice of slow-walking and simply ignoring congressional requests for documents related to both the liar-Clinton email and Russian interference investigations.
               House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) issued subpoenas to the FBI for records related to the bureau’s use of informants in its Trump investigation. As of Monday, the FBI had failed to fully comply with the subpoenas. Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) is clearly running out of patience and blasted the DOJ/FBI: “New reports of DOJ/FBI compliance with document requests are NOT accurate. While they have turned over additional documents, the new documents represent a small percentage of what they owe. The notion that DOJ/FBI have been forthcoming with Congress is false.”
               Second, dummycrats-Democrats aim to maintain the cloud of a Russia collusion conspiracy over Trump’s presidency for political gain. Over the weekend, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was at a high-dollar dummycrats-Democrat Party retreat, where he opined, “If you get me one more glass of wine, I’ll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know. If you think you’ve seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It’s going to be a wild couple of months.” After being called out for his “drunken” remark by Trump, Warner claimed to have been joking, though he doubled down, stating, “You know how seriously I take this investigation.”
               How much longer will this increasingly baseless Mueller investigation be tolerated? Trump is well within his authority to pull the plug, though doing so would likely be too politically damaging. In the midst of the recent loss of all rational judgement over the enforcement of immigration law, ending the investigation may create similar emotion-based insanity.   ~The Patriot Post

{ spectator.org } ~ Buried in Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz’s report on the liar-Clinton email investigation lies a disturbing passage... concerning information obtained by the FBI alleging that Attorney General Loretta Lynch attempted to put her thumb on the scales of justice to exonerate liar-Hillary Clinton. “Comey said that he also was concerned about an issue specific to Lynch,” Horowitz reports. “As discussed in more detail in the classified appendix to this report, Comey told the OIG that the FBI had obtained highly classified information in March 2016 that included allegations of partisan bias or attempts to impede the Midyear investigation by Lynch.” What, specifically, did the “highly classified information” indicate? It is “highly classified,” so we naturally remain in the dark. What justified making the information “highly classified”? Nuclear secrets? A list of U.S. spies abroad? War plans to invade Canada? We do not know. But in an age when the Justice Department assails words that merely embarrass with redacting markers, the words “highly classified” provoke curiosity rather than close questions. In the grip of government power, when they need to tame their opposition, liberals will pompously talk about the “rules of decorum.” But the moment they are out of power they immediately start breaking them. In the 1990s, the rattiest members of the liar-Clinton administration famously called for a “civility commission,” which led to a sham group at the University of Pennsylvania populated mainly by uncivil liberals upset at Rush Limbaugh and company for challenging their power. The relativism underpinning liberalism makes it hopelessly willful. Its relationship to civility is determined not by any principle independent of human will but by pure political opportunism. Insofar as civility is useful to gaining or preserving power, liberals pretend to honor it. But the moment civility becomes an impediment to holding or regaining power, they give themselves permission to violate it. On Trump's Authority, Due Process and 'Racism'  

by Nate Jackson:  “We cannot have a system of catch and release. We are a sovereign nation. We have to secure our borders. And so we just simply cannot have a situation where people are apprehended, they’re released, they don’t return to court, and they know they’re able to do that.” Was that President Donald Trump on another tirade about immigration? Was it one of his officials earning the harassment leveled at them by dummycrats-Democrats? No, it was Jeh Johnson, secretary of homeland security for Barack liar-nObama.

             Those comments set up Trump’s recent actions, both in terms of establishing zero-tolerance prosecution policies at the border and then stepping back with last Wednesday’s executive order. Then came yesterday’s report that the Border Patrol has suspended prosecutions of adults crossing the border with children — unless, the Associated Press notes, “they had criminal history or the child’s welfare was in question.” DHS says it’s “out of resources” to detain families.
               Meanwhile, Trump continued his musings about immediate deportation, saying, “People must simply be stopped at the Border and told they cannot come into the U.S. illegally. Children brought back to their country. If this is done, illegal immigration will be stopped in it’s tracks — and at very little, by comparison, cost.”
               Does Trump have the authority to do this? Yes, under 8 U.S.C. §1182(f), which empowers the president to turn away at the border immigrants he deems unfit for entry.
               Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.
               That’s the same authority he has for the much-maligned travel ban that the Supreme Court upheld just today. In other words, he’s not “denying due process,” as the Leftmedia would have you believe; he’d be enforcing the law.
               But none of the actual facts matter to the Left. Hollywood’s Rob Reiner opined on the only angledummycrats-Democrats are interested in for the 2018 elections: “This is pure and simple racism — that’s all this is. [Trump is] hoping that the people who support him will be ginned up and running to the polls to make sure that brown people don’t come into America. … It’s a fascist playbook.” Translation: If you support border security and law enforcement, you’re a racist.   ~The Patriot Post

by Political Editors:  Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt is finding himself getting the squeeze from competing sides over the ethanol mandate. As the Washington Examiner explains, “The EPA is poised to order refiners to blend more ethanol in 2019 to make up for the agency granting ‘hardship’ waivers to dozens of refiners to help them reduce the cost of blending ethanol in gasoline.” In other words, the EPA is set to increase the total amount of ethanol blended gasoline mandated by the Renewal Fuel Act, which in turn increases the cost of business for the refinery industry. And the refinery industry is clearly not happy about it.

             On the other side, farmers and ethanol producers are not happy with the continued extension of hardship waivers. Iowa dummycrats-Democrats have sent a letter to the EPA that states, “The Environmental Protection Agency continues to hurt farmers and undermine the biofuels market by extending waivers to an unusually large number of refineries.” They are essentially demanding an end to the granting of any waivers.
               This is a textbook example of the problem with setting up a sector of the economy around a government policy. It always devolves into the politics of the government essentially picking winners and losers, irrespective of the free market. So long as the ethanol boondoggle remains, expect to see more of these needless conflicts of interest.   ~The Patriot Post

A Google search of the terms “Trump Nazi,” brings up 70,900,000 results.

There are a number of distressing aspects to this state of affairs.

First and foremost, it is pure libel to call US President Donald Trump a Nazi.

His daughter Ivanka is Jewish. His daughter-in-law is Jewish. Half his grandchildren are Jewish and his non-Jewish ex-daughter-in-law is half Jewish.

How many Nazis have Hanukka celebrations in their homes starring their Jewish grandchildren?

Beyond his Jewish immediate family, Trump has shown extraordinary friendship to the Jewish state. It isn’t simply that Trump kept the promise none if his predecessors kept and moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem, although that would have sufficed to prove his friendship.

Trump shows his friendship and respect for Israel every single day.

Last week he agreed to sell Israel mid-air refueling planes. His predecessor, Barack liar-nObama, refused to sell Israel the aircraft in order to protect Iran’s nuclear sites from Israeli air strikes. Trump agreed to sell them to enable such Israeli strikes in the event they become necessary.

This week, Trump approved UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s determination that the US should withdraw from the institutionally antisemitic UN Human Rights Council. The liar-nObama administration joined the council claiming it would use its membership to influence the council for the better and proceeded to legitimize council’s anti-Jewish witch hunt for eight years.

The people of Israel recognize Trump’s friendship. Nearly 80% of Israelis view him as a friend.

So what explains the 70,900,000 results to the “Trump Nazi” Google search?

One answer came this week with the media outcry over the US government policy of separating illegal immigrant minors from their illegal immigrant parents.

The policy is cruel. Indeed, recognizing its cruelty, Trump signed an executive order banning the practice.
But the policy isn’t new. This was the liar-nObama administration’s policy following a court order prohibiting children from joining their parents in detention.

Rather than soberly acknowledge that law enforcement, including immigration law is often a cruel business and recognize that to remain a state of laws sometimes authorities undertake difficult and harsh actions, the anti-Trump media ignored reality and went straight for the kill. David Remnick, Frank Bruni and countless others didn’t care that the liar-nObama administration separated children from their parents, placed them in cages and wrapped them in aluminum foil.

As far as they are concerned, the continuation of the same cruel policy under Trump is proof that Trump is a Nazi.

Gen. Michael Hayden, the former director of the NSA and the CIA posted a photo of the entrance to Auschwitz on his Twitter feed with a caption “Other governments have separated mothers and children.”

As much as Hayden and his comrades hate Trump, by claiming that enforcing laws of Congress is Nazi behavior, they are demonizing the US and engaging in rank antisemitism. Mexican children separated from their parents because they broke properly constituted laws of a liberal republic are not the moral equivalent of the million Jewish children murdered by the Nazis for the “crime” of breathing while Jewish. Congress is not the Reichstag. And the Rio Grande is not Auschwitz.

Hayden and his comrades are not idiots. So why are they making these unhinged, libelous claims?

The answer is that their actions are part of a wider move by Democrats to politicize antisemitism.

Much has been made of the fact that support for Israel is becoming a partisan issue. Whereas Republicans are almost unanimous in support for the US alliance with Israel, support among Democrats is flagging and becoming a minority view on the rapidly growing far Left.

What has gone largely unmentioned is that antisemitism is also becoming a partisan issue. As their party becomes more hostile to Israel, Democrats are increasingly highlighting the neo-Nazi elements at the fringe of the Republican Party as a means of implicating the entire Republican Party – led by Trump – as antisemitic and dangerous.

At the same time, even as leading members of the Democratic Party like scumbag-Keith Ellison and luminaries like Linda Sarsour openly espouse anti-Jewish sentiments and propagate antisemitic conspiracy theories, Democrats ignore, whitewash, deny and minimize the significance of the swelling chorus of antisemitism within their ranks.

Compare the responses of Democrats and Republicans to the appearance of antisemites on their ballots.

In the current election cycle, three white supremacists have sought office as Republican candidates. Arthur Jones, a 70-year-old white supremacist Nazi, running for Congress in Illinois’s 3rd Congressional district ran a stealth campaign for the safe Democratic seat. He quietly collected the requisite signatures to file his papers with the state election commission, blindsiding the GOP, which had not planned to field a candidate to run against incumbent Dan Lipinski who has won the last seven elections by a 70-30 margin.

In response to Jones’s maneuver, the state and national GOP condemned and disavowed him in the harshest terms. The state party announced it would field an independent candidate to run in the general election against Jones and Lipinski.

Then there is Patrick Little. Little, another Nazi, ran in California’s open primary for Senate as a Republican. Ten other Republicans also ran. In one poll, which included Little and one other Republican candidate only, he was the top ranked Republican candidate in the open Senate race against Democratic incumbent Diane Fein-stein.

Rather than acknowledge the poll’s statistical insignificance, the Forward, Newsweek and Yahoo news ran stories about Little and the poll claiming that it proved that empowered by Trump, Nazis are taking over the Republican Party. The fact that the California GOP forcibly removed Little from their state convention was barely reported in the national media.

Paul Nehlen, a Democratic candidate for Congress in House Speaker Paul Ryan’s district was supported by many conservatives until last December when it came out that he is a white supremacist. As soon as his positions – which he had deliberately hidden – were revealed, every major and minor conservative media outlet and politician condemned him.

But that hasn’t stopped CNN from waging a campaign against Virginia Republican Senate nominee Corey Stewart for having endorsed Nehlen a month before his positions were publicized. Stewart unconditionally condemned Nehlen once his anti-Jewish bigotry was exposed.

In the Democratic tent itself, things are a bit different.

Rising stars in the Democratic Party, including Rep. scumbag-Ellison and Women’s March leaders Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour along with the Congressional Black Caucus embrace Louis Farrakhan, and defend his notorious, virulent hatred of Jews. They demonize Israel and its Jewish supporters.

Far from being attacked or otherwise denounced for their actions, these Democrats are advanced and promoted. Ellison is the vice-chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Mallory and Sarsour, mad-Maxine Waters and other members of the CBC are feted by party leaders including Senators commie-Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth dinky-Warren.

Their letter specifically references agent Peter Strzok, attorney Lisa Page and attorney Kevin Clinesmith. "We know that these biases were shared among multiple people at the FBI and could be easily uncovered by Mr. Mueller with simple vetting," the letter says. U.S. Stops Palestinian Aid Payments

Stand Down — or Get Out of the Way?

by Arnold Ahlert:  Ever since the 2016 election, the hysterical Left and its media lapdogs have been determined to convince Americans the primary reason Donald Trump won was due to Russian “meddling.” Thus if logic holds, it would stand to reason that the liar-nObama administration would have made every effort to prevent that meddling from taking place. Last Wednesday, in testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Michael Daniel, who served as White House “cyber security coordinator” between 2012 and January 2017, confirmed he and his investigative team were ordered to “stand down” from investigating — and preventing — that meddling by former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

            The revelation was his first public substantiation of allegations published in the book, Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump, co-written by David Corn and Michael Isikoff. During the hearing, Sen. James Risch (R-ID) asked Daniel about a passage contained in the book. It referred to investigative team staffer Daniel Prieto who was quoted as saying, “We’ve been told to stand down.”
               “I was incredulous and in disbelief,” Prieto continued. “It took me a moment to process. In my head, I was like, did I hear that correctly?” Prieto told the authors he then spoke up, asking Daniel: “Why the hell are we standing down? Michael, can you help us understand?”
               Daniel made it clear the passage was correct. “That is an accurate rendering of the conversation at the staff meeting but the larger context is something that we can discuss in the classified session,” he responded. “But I can say there were many concerns about how many people were involved in the development of the options so the decision at that point was to neck down the number of people that were involved in our ongoing response options. It’s not accurate to say all activities ceased at that point.”
               What response operations? In the book, Corn and Isikoff reported that Daniels has been [developing]http://dailycaller.com/2018/06/20/susan-rice-stand-down-russian-meddling/) a series of strategies to thwart Russian cyberattacks targeting American companies and political campaign. They included employing denial of service tactics to take down Russian-created news sites and attack Russian intel agencies, and announcing a phony “cyber exercise” against a Eurasian country aimed at sending a message to Vladimir Putin and company that Russian infrastructure could be easily targeted.
               Daniel declined to discuss the details of those options during the open hearing other than describing them as “the full range of potential actions” that the U.S. government could use in the cyber arena “to impose costs on the Russians — both openly to demonstrate that we could do it as a deterrent and also clandestinely to disrupt their operations as well.” He promised to share the details with the Committee in a classified setting.
               After “necking down” the operation, Daniels and his staff “shifted our focus” to assisting state governments in their efforts to protect against state and local election systems for Russian cyberattacks.
               At the hearing, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the ranking Democrat on the panel, said in an opening statement, “We were caught flat-footed at the outset and our collective response was inadequate to meet Russia’s escalation.”
               Flat-footed? Conspicuously disinterested is more like it. At the same meeting, Victoria Nuland, who served as the liar-nObama administration’s assistant secretary of state for Europe, insisted she had been briefed as early as December 2015 about the hacking of the DNC’s computers. That was “long before senior DNC officials were aware of it — and that the intrusion had all the hallmarks of a Russian operation,” Isikoff explains in his own column on the hearing.
               The hallmarks of a Russian operation according to whom? The FBI never examinedthe DNC’s computers. “The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” an FBI agent told Wired in 2017. Thus they were forced to rely on an analysis provided by tech security company CrowdStrike, “a contractor retained by the DNC’s and the liar-Clinton campaign’s lawyers at Perkins Coie,” as National Review’s Andrew McCarthy revealed last October.
               Moreover, in August 2017, a group of ex-CIA and NSA officials calling itself the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity insisted the hacking of the DNC’s servers was an inside hob. Other experts insist their analysis is “probably wrong.” Yet the bottom line is inescapable: The FBI never saw first-hand evidence, one way or the other.
               In addition to the stand down order, columnist Ed Morrissey illuminates two other efforts undertaken by theliar-nObama administration that “seemed determined to leave the U.S. defenseless in a cyberwar.” Yet more important, he includes in his column an extremely damning revelation contained in the book:
               One day in late August [2016], national security adviser Susan Rice called Daniel into her office and demanded he cease and desist from working on the cyber options he was developing. “Don’t get ahead of us,” she warned him.
               At the Committee meeting, Rice is also quoted as saying the stand-down order was given because she feared the strategies used to thwart Russian intrusion would leak and “box the president in.”
               The timing of Rice’s meeting Daniel is critical — because it occurred after the July 31 initiation of operation Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s “counterintelligence investigation” seeking to determine whether the Trump campaign was involved in collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 election’s outcome.
               Was Daniel aware of the operation? Incredibly, no one on the Committee asked the question. But if he wasn’t, “stand down” looks damnably more like “get out of the way” so we can cobble together a way to get Trump — without hindering Russian efforts to do so. Efforts that might “boxliar-nObama in.”
               How? While America remains in limbo regarding what appears to be a political witch hunt by Robert Mueller — one aided and abetted by stonewalling, spying, bias, bribery and lying at the highest levels of the FBI and the DOJ, in felonious coordination with the Leftmedia — one inarguable reality stands out above all the rest:
               The Trump administration was kept completely in the dark about any and all possible Russian machinations during the entire election campaign.
               That silence is incredibly revealing. The liar-nObama administration chose to weaponize the nation’s intelligence apparatus and use it against fellow Americans in the opposition political party rather than warn it about possible Russian intrusion. Intrusion, assuming it took place at all, that may have been largely, if not completely thwarted by Daniel and his series of strategies designed to do so. Strategies that might have “boxed in” — as in completely undermined — the liar-nObama administration’s entire Russian meddling Narrative in the process.

In article after article, the SPLC is referenced as THE authority on American hate groups. In very few of those articles did the author ever bother mentioning that the SPLC is really nothing more than another liberal activism group with no more authority over “hate groups” than CAIR. Well, then again, they treat CAIR with the same deference. In any case, we could be witnessing the slow-motion downfall of this so-called watchdog group. Last week, the SPLC was forced to cough up $3.3 million to settle a lawsuit from Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz, who had been chronicled as an anti-Islam extremist by the organization. In addition, the SPLC had to issue a complete apology to Nawaz, admitting that it should have done a bit more research into the former Islamic radical before smearing his reputation all over the internet. And now the floodgates are open. Reports have it that at least 60 conservative groups in conjunction with many that are not particularly conservative, but happen to slay the sacred cows – like Islam – that the SPLC likes to protect are mulling a lawsuit against the SPLC. In the wake of Nawaz’s major victory against the sham organization, these groups smell blood in the water. While many today want to pretend that the Statue of Liberty is our national monument to immigrants, the truth is the statue itself has nothing whatever to do with immigration. It was initially conceived by French abolitionist Edouard de Laboulaye as a celebration of President Abraham Lincoln’s emancipation of the slaves, the end of the Civil War, and the abolition of the institution of slavery. According to her father, though, the media might have chosen the wrong cover model. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Honduran immigrant Denis Javier Varela Hernandez – the father of the famous 2-year-old in the photo – said that his daughter was never taken from her family. Rather, the child’s mother abandoned her three other children, paid a smuggler to take her to the U.S., and left her family behind of her own accord...

Selective Separation Anxiety 

by Robin Smith:  We wonder what the black community thinks listening to the wailing expressed by dummycrats-Democrats over the newest crisis involving the “rights” of people illegally crossing the southern border. You know, the same blacks who’ve been the bedrock voter bloc fordummycrats-Democrats since Lyndon B. Johnson promised he’d use the supposed War on Poverty to “have those n—gers voting dummycrats-Democratic for the next 200 years.” In reality, his income redistribution scheme to “end poverty” demolished the intact families of many in the black community and caused poverty in numerous forms.

             How long have Americans been told that Congress and the president were going to produce “comprehensive” immigration reform? That campaign promise goes back to the amnesty given to three million illegal immigrants by President Ronald Reagan, who signed the Immigrant Reform and Control Act of 1986. The border securitydummycrats-Democrats promised in return never materialized.
               Fast-forward four presidents and 32 years through promises, pledges and pontifications of bothdummycrats- Democrats and Republicans about the issue — the need to secure the southern border and the priority of a legal immigration system — and there’s nothing to show for it. This yielded President Donald Trump, who was elected primarily because of his tough stance on America’s laughable legal immigration enforcement with the help, surprisingly, of more black voters than GOP nominees in 2008 and 2012.
               Huh? More black voters supported Donald Trump — the guy who’s supposedly a racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobe, unstable “Hitler”?! Yep. Even in November 2016, a larger number of black voters had become “woke” to the reality that they were being shelved by dummycrats-Democrats, to whom they’ve been loyal for almost six decades, in exchange for a more in vogue victim group — illegal immigrants.
               It’s so “yesterday” for dummycrats-Democrats to care for the troubles of blacks when an entire new group of potential voters needs victimhood status to fulfill the standard practice of identity politics in the Left’s playbook. With the Russian scandal not panning out and the economy roaring, a new crisis is needed. Thus the emotional uproar over children temporarily removed from their parents after illegally crossing the border.
               Meanwhile, for blacks who live in this nation legally, things are very bad. According to the National Center for Fathering, 58% of black children live “absent their biological father,” compared to 33.7% of all children nationally. In 2012, according to the CDC, 73% of black children were born out of wedlock. The sudden worry that children’s best interests are served when with their parent is pretty interesting, especially given thatdummycrats-Democrat policies destroyed the black family. How? By making dads unnecessary. In fact, the government pays women to have children out of wedlock. Are we surprised when that happens more?
               If that hypocrisy wasn’t enough, the sudden outrage over immigrant children reeks even worse when Barack liar-nObama’s own secretary of homeland security, Jeh Johnson, admitted Sunday that they “expanded family detention” because “we can’t have catch and release.” The hysterics from the Left fueled by the constant cable news coverage never captured this expanded separation of families beginning in 2014 with the liar-nObama administration, and leftists certainly didn’t fuss when, as Johnson noted of his three-year tenure, “We deported or repatriated or returned over a million people.”
               Many of the current members of Congress were in the Senate and House without a peep during this earlier expansion under liar-nObama. These same elected officials also witnessed the largest expansion of food stamp and welfare recipients in our nation’s history. Where were the caterwauls when the black unemployment rate hit 16.8% in March of 2010? Was it of little consequence to black families in our country legally to find it so difficult to work?
               And don’t forget that dummycrats-Democrats oppose empowering black parents whose children are trapped in failing schools to have other options through school choice. Worse, dummycrats-Democrats have actually defunded successful programs, like Washington, DC’s Opportunity Scholarship Program that served almost exclusively poor Hispanic and black kids. It’s alsodummycrats-Democrats who attack law enforcement and gin up racial tension instead of addressing rampant black-on-black crime and violence that is destroying cities like Chicago and Baltimore. Where needed most, law enforcement efforts have been minimized and rendered less effective due to the “Ferguson Effect” that cultivates an unhealthy environment for law and order.
               Why are these items important to mention in recognizing that blacks are the forgotten friends ofdummycrats-Democrats? In an October 2016 campaign speech, Trump addressed an audience in Toledo, Ohio, with remarks that included a plan for the black community that included “safe communities, great education and high-paying jobs” with a challenge to black voters: “What do you have to lose?”
               With May’s unemployment rate for blacks at a historic low of 5.9%, Trump is delivering on this key promise. Blacks may be reluctant to vote Republican whendummycrats-Democrats are still screaming “racist!” at each one they see, but blacks compare how they’ve fared underdummycrats-Democrats versus Republicans.
               Two other areas Trump is also tackling that have significant impact on the black community are criminal justice reform and abortion. One in nine black children has had a parent in prison. Clearly, children, due to no fault of their own, are separated from their parents because of their parents’ poor choices. Further, Dr. Alveda King has observed that since 1973’s Roe v. Wade, the black population has been reduced by about a fourth due to abortion. A black child is three times more likely to be aborted in the womb than a white baby.

The next day, they surrounded her home and protested her there as well until she left. Then came White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family who were booted from The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, VA over her support for President Trump’s desire to ban transgender people from the military. And don’t forget the threats of violence from actor Peter Fonda and other celebrities against Nielsen, Sanders, Barron Trump and others. Now, it’s Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s turn. She is of course a Republican and a supporter of President Trump. Yesterday, she attended a screening of the Mr. Rogers documentary at a movie theater entitled, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” A video posted to Twitter shows Bondi being escorted out of the building by police officers as protesters chant slogans and demand Bondi support healthcare provisions from the Affordable Care Act...Is there a law against harassment?  I bet if it was against a liberal hell would brake lose.

Taxpayers’ Money Going To Islamic Charity Group 

With Ties To Terrorist Groups

Islamic Relief, the highly influential international nonprofit, receives funds from the Charitable Society for Social Welfare, for example, which was founded by Al-Qaida terrorist and “Bin Laden loyalist” Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani, the report says. Islamic Relief is also accused of financially supporting Hamas, the militant and political Islamist organization regarded by much of the international community as a terrorist group. And Americans are helping foot the bill,  according to the Middle East Forum (MEF), a conservative think tank based in Philadelphia that investigated and published the report. In the last 10 years, MEF says taxpayers from western countries have provided $80 million to Islamic Relief, which allegedly has a close relationship with networks of the Muslim Brotherhood, also considered by many  to be a source of Islamic terrorism despite claims of violence denunciations...If true, why are we still giving them relief money.

CBP Reunited 522 Illegal Immigrant Children With Their Families

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Customs and Border Protection has reunited 522 illegal immigrant children with their families who were separated... as a result of the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy, according to a Department of Homeland Security statement released Saturday. “CBP has reunited 522 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) in their custody who were separated from adults as part of the Zero Tolerance initiative,” the press release  said. “The reunions of an additional 16 UAC who were scheduled to be reunited on June 22, 2018 were delayed due to weather affecting travel and we expect they will all be reunited with their parents within the next 24 hours.” The press release said some families were transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody together due to “the speed in which adults completed their criminal proceedings.” The report did not say how many families were currently together in ICE custody. Devin Nunes sets new deadline for DOJ, FBI to hand

Michael Horowitz is the Department of Justice's Inspector General. He testified on June 18th before the Senate Judiciary Committee about his report concerning the liar-Hillary Clinton national security breach investigation. The revelation came to light during questioning by Senator John Kennedy. (@7:36)

Horowitz testified that “most” of the investigative decisions in that investigation were made not by the FBI but by prosecutors within the Department of Justice.

One might be tempted to conclude that much of the criticism of the FBI for its decisions in the aforesaid liar-Clinton investigation would have to be discounted or re-examined. Perhaps. But that is not the most important conclusion.

For whatever reason, it is clear from the report that the structure of the FBI/DOJ's liar- Clinton investigation was all off: the FBI was reduced to providing a set of runners perhaps willing and even avid, because of their demonstrated bias, runners, but runners just the same for DOJ attorneys.

Now, in our system of justice, this is not unlawful. It is “merely” highly unusual.

Skipping over, for a bit, reflections on the incidence of the DOJ calling the shots in investigations, what should be stressed is that if there is a need for an FBI, and not for just a set of runners and errand boys for geekish DOJ clerks, perhaps it might be logical to posit that if so, then the FBI should actually handle its investigations itself.

Now, simply, it is very rare for criminal investigations to be handled directly from FBIHQ. But it may have been unprecedented in the history of the FBI to have run the liar-  Hillary Clinton investigation, an intelligence/espionage investigation, out of FBIHQ.

It probably behooves us to pause here in order to remember that the FBI is organized in what to many may appear to be an upside-down fashion. Ordinarily cases are either assigned to or are developed by “case” agents. Case agents work out of offices scattered across the country.

The reader may find this remarkable, but it is the case agents who make investigative decisions, although ostensibly they are on the lowest rung of the organizational chart. For this reason, many agents have fought to stay at the case-agent level. One cannot be “prince of the city” sitting in an office.

Of course, if a particular investigative step is of a sensitive nature, prior to taking it authority is secured from the requisite supervisory level, which is often at the level of FBIHQ. There is nothing wrong with that, in principle. No one – no case agent – wants to embarrass the Bureau. If there is a “conformity bias” in the field office it is to take the case wherever the facts lead, and not in an overzealous fashion.

Thus, in the ordinary course, it is only once an investigation is complete! that the work product is given to the DOJ. Decisions as to discretionary investigative steps are taken in the relatively insulated environment of the field office; they are taken by case agents who are not really beholden to anyone, as they have no need or intention to promote themselves.

All of this militates against bias.

The reverse is true concerning the liar-Clinton espionage investigation. There the structure of the investigation militated towards bias. Indeed, the reins of the investigation were handed over to the DOJ. If there had been real leadership at the Bureau, this would never have happened.

For this reason, in order to lessen the chance for such shenanigans to take place, the president, or at the least the FBI director, should ensure that no investigations be conducted out of headquarters. Ever. That would go for Robert Mueller's “special counsel” probe, which is an FBI/DOJ to itself.

There is yet another consideration. The FBI is used to conducting intelligence investigations. It has considerable expertise in doing so. An agent doing intelligence work is an intelligence officer; an IO in Bureau parlance. Such people develop not only expertise but also a sense of the importance of the subject matter after all, “national security” concerns the very security – and existence – of the nation, and yet the same sense does not appear to be manifested, judging from recent events and the IG's report, in the DOJ, despite the latter's having a division dedicated to national security.

For instance, it is almost never stated that one of the great blows that our national security was dealt by Mrs. liar-Clinton was that to our reputation for trustworthiness and professionalism. Consider a CIA officer or FBI agent dealing with a potential highly placed foreign intelligence officer. In order to betray their own country, the foreign intelligence officer has to believe that the U.S. government will safeguard their identity. Yet now visions of Mrs. liar-Clinton's homebrew server and, because of her, Anthony Weiner's laptop computer must flash before that foreign intelligence officer's eyes as he considers making a leap of faith. Not to mention the psychological blow to our CIA and FBI intelligence officers: they too have to believe in the integrity of the system.

When one takes considerations such as this away from the table, one is left with what appears the case in the IG report: either feigned or no real understanding of the gravity of the offense on the part of the investigators and prosecutors.

But there is more to be said regarding FBI/DOJ bias in the IG's report. Former judge Jeanine Pirro castigated IG Horowitz on her Fox News show. She said in essence that in a murder case one proves the state of mind of the perpetrator by indirect evidence, and that therefore the IG could not reasonably find, as he did, that no investigative decisions were made because of bias. Especially because the report is full of evidence of a biased state of mind.

Mrs. Pirro forgets that in a murder trial there is a body. It is clear, obviously, that a crime has been committed.

But there is no crime as such committed by the players in the IG report. As the IG concluded, every investigative decision was made upon an arguably reasonable foundation.

This is not at all to say that the investigation was properly handled. But what we are dealing with is prosecutorial and investigative under-zealousness in regard to Mrs. liar-Clinton and rabid jihadic over-zealousness with regard to Mr. Trump. Neither of these are crimes; neither of these are, ordinarily, “prosecutable” ethical violations.

In this regard we should remember that what Andrew McCabe was alleged to have done was pretty darn bad: he leaked information to the press. But that's not a crime, and the criminal referral made by the IG in McCabe's case is on the basis of his allegedly lying to the FBI, a violation of 18 USC 1001.

That is why the IG did not pass judgment upon the players in the liar-Clinton espionage investigation. The IG is not the tool for this. We may desperately wish it to be, but in truth, it is the height of asininity to insist that a screwdriver will function the same as a hammer.

Indeed, we cannot expect the system to police itself on using a paradigm of rules-violations in the situation we are dealing with. It would be much easier were that the case. That is because often the problem is that discretion is misused, which is not something that can be policed by the system itself.

This should be obvious: after all, the IG said the DOJ/FBI followed the rules, but were biased. We might do well to recall that this is the general case with the Deep State and has been for some time; it is no news that the Deep State is biased against one of the two main political parties.

The historian Victor Davis Hanson in a recent article describes the same phenomena and goes on to state he believes that “For all the investigations and IG reports, for all the revelations of scandals and wrongdoing, there will probably in the end be little consequence.”

Hanson may be correct.

But he need not be.

We have a unitary executive at para.13. If the president can act to level the playing field and ensure fairness, then the matter is salvageable. If not, the outlook is grim.

Illegal immigrants should immediately be turned away from US

Patriot missile fired at incoming UAV from Syria, which retreats

{ americanthinker.com } ~ The title of the Office of the Inspector General's report last week is snoozily bureaucratic-sounding: "A Review of Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election."

The document confirms, for many of us, our worst fear: segments of our federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies are a clear and present existential danger to our republic.

Let's try to be as un-hindsight and objective as possible.  I am not interested in re-litigating the 2016 presidential election (my guy won), but here's a "what if?" that should keep you up at night.

Had Republicans and independents not outnumbered Democrats in crucial swing states, if we had lost 2016, how much of the contents of the I.G. report would we have known about?  Today?  Right now?

How much would we have known about the weaponized depth and breadth of secrecy and corruption and disdain for Americans whose taxes paid for officials to hate us, on our dime, and label us "uneducated, lazy POS"?

Zero – that's how much. 

If liar-Hillary Clinton were president, what would we have been talking about this past week? I'm not sure, but I'm certain we wouldn't be talking about this embarrassing and perhaps treasonous exposé of members of our law enforcement and intelligence communities. 

To be clear: I do not question the integrity of the boots – i.e., the agents. It's the suits who compromised the boots' abilities to do their jobs impartially. Is it possible that some FBI and DOJ officials could have walked off the job in remonstrance of Madame President? Sure; that would have given us some insight, but how much would have really been revealed? Not much, I suspect.

The Democrat coup

Revulsion for Trump and his deplorable supporters by Democrats and the DMIC (Democrat Media Industrial Complex) is, of course, nothing new. Truthfully, the fact that some within the FBI, including former director James Comey, felt this way isn't even what's most concerning. Even unelected bureaucrats are human, and bias is inherent in human nature. The extent, though, to which, for example, FBI agent Peter Strzok made it histeleological mission to undermine the will of the people and the Constitution he swore to uphold by promising to "stop" Trump from ever getting elected smacks of a trait some of the worst human beings to ever live have exhibited. Bias on steroids, mixed with an intense, addictive loathing of Trump and his voters, cherry-topped with a phony Russian collusion story, makes for one hell of a Molotov cocktail. The report's assessment that officials were not affected by bias is perhaps the most laughable statement ever uttered in the annals of American political history. 

The I.G.'s report nakedly exposes a direct attack on Americans who have done nothing wrong, as well as an equally disturbing coup of our national hallmark institutions of stability.

We are a nation of laws, not of men.  Some within liar-nObama's FBI believed the opposite and did their jobs guided by that belief. Why? Because none believed for one millisecond that Donald Trump would ever be elected. They acted with cocksure impunity because they knew that Empress liar-Clinton would keep the coup covered up and running smoothly forever.

Have you noticed the deafening silence from liar-nObama? Where's the outrage from the Tessio Republican establishment GOP? Most Americans don't yet grasp just how dangerous to our republic these Democrat cronies and quislings are. The DMIC continues, in perpetuity, its fetishized obsession with pornography actress heroines and has spent the last week regurgitating the debunked conspiracy theory that Comey cost liar-Clinton the election.  Don't count on the DMIC to channel its inner Woodward and Bernstein by addressing the threats posed to our nation and our future.

There's good news

Good can come from the revelations of the I.G. report. Exposure is the first step to conquering; had we lost in 2016, we'd never be able to stop this hydra, short of a military coup against the government.

I didn't doubt the president whatsoever when he promised to weed out the intelligence and law enforcement agencies. This is, without question, though, a Herculean task with what could very well have a Sisyphean outcome. But neither we nor the president can sit idly by; I, admittedly, won't be satisfied until we have agency house-cleanings that make Nuremberg look like a private island vacation with unlimited multi-decade-aged oak wood bourbon Old Fashioneds.

And let's remind ourselves that elections do, in fact, have consequences. There are so many among us who have been hopelessly swallowed up into the cult of Leninist Democrat progressive ideology that they see what liar-nObama, liar-Clinton, Comey, the FBI, etc. did as perfectly fine – if they even know about it at all, since they mindlessly consume the DMIC like the sheeple they are. We need to outnumber Democrat voters every election cycle, to keep momentum going from 2016. Reliably red states no longer exist, so turnout-turnout-turnout is the name of the reform game.

liar-Clinton used a personal email and personally configured server: likely illegal.

Comey used personal email: violation of DOJ policy (and can Congress please amend laws to prohibit any personal email use for official government correspondence, classified or not?).

liar-nObama claimed he found out about liar-Clinton's server and private email from The New York Times: the I.G. confirmed he lied. He exchanged 20 emails with liar-Clinton on her clintonemail.com account, and, according to the report, Comey the Cover-Upper referred to liar-nObama as a "senior government official."

The "it" in "it can't happen here" is happening now; it's been happening. Our Founders innately understood that the United States was much more likely to collapse from enemies within than from abroad. Our republic is only as strong as its weakest link. When Ben Franklin remarked that we were a republic, and not a monarchy, never forget the second half of his remark: if you can keep it.
