In November 18th, 1993, the greed of the NEOCON colonizers blinds them from the socio economic impact of NAFTA. The House Passes NAFTA, 234-200. Bill Clinton promoted the legislation and Vote as a Decision to create jobs for Americans. The strongest support in the House came from Republicans, who cast 132 votes for the trade plan and 43 against it. Among Democrats, 102 voted for the agreement and 156 opposed it. The one independent in Congress voted against the plan. NAFTA has done way too much damage, and we need to repeal it. NAFTA and all of the free trade agreements has cost millions of Americans jobs, eroded our industrial base and decimated towns and communities.

Decades of failed “free trade” policies have failed our nation. 22 years of trade deficits and millions of jobs lost to foreign countries; since Bill Clinton all the presidents that followed Clinton push for free trade; President George W Bush defends his free-trade agenda in his May 7, 2001, speech. He declared that Free Trade creates jobs for the unemployed. Such claims are nothing but lies and deception and like Bush, Obama is making the same promise and continue pushing for more Free Trade. The TPP look like prior “free trade agreements” while negotiations are not yet complete, the publicly and available information is of great concern for the American workers; it looks like once again, predator corporatism are having too much influence in the process for their benefit and the continue erosion of our socio economic of our country.

We must focus on the voting by congress and the senate on this issue of Free Trade and get them out of the government and ban them from the political arena. Free Trade will destroy our country and our future socio and economic welfare, we must demand, a withdraw of all free trade and re-store a tariff system in international trade.

NAFTA has done way too much damage, and we need to repeal it.  Enough is enough – we need to focus on creating jobs right here in the United States, not in foreign countries.

ISLAMIC 5TH COLUMN INVADES AMERICA

     Examples of  threats to America and NATO Nations  today because of "p"resident Obama and CO's passivity (or positive support)  are:  
     1.  China and her control of the China Sea and active moves threatening  to the entire Pacific;  and 2) Russia and its invasion of the Ukraine and the threat to all of NATO.
,These Enemies have a Major Ally in their combined World  Wide Goals and that  Ally is Islam, not just Radical Islam but all of Islam, that they give total support and Arm in her efforts to create a World Wide Caliphate.  
The following  deals  with the  Wahhabi/Saudi Wahhabi Islamic 5th Column threats  specifically America.  
      I am vitally concerned at the total absence of any Warning , with one exception from  NEWSMAX*, of even a hint that this Islamic 5th Column exists across America and its huge threat, from any American Leader, any News Agency, Magazine or Leading Reporter.

      In 1969/70 the Saudi and groups like the Muslim Brotherhood ordered millions of Islamist to migrate to all Non-Islamic Nations. To control this Islamic Horde in America alone the Wahhabi Saudi's have built over 1,700 Wahhabi Mosques ruled by Wahhabi Imams. Every Terrorist Attack in America has a provable connection with a Wahhabi Mosque and its Imam. The 9/11 attack has connections with Mosques in Chula Vista California, Arizona, N.Y. and other cities/states. The NYPD placed all Mosques in N.Y. on a Watch List, that has been canceled by the New Mayor.
      In America's Prisons the Islamic Gangs are larger than any others created by Islamic's that deliberately committed crimes that they could proselytize the prisoners.
       Compounding is your Islamic/Progressive "p"residents obvious support of Islam, any true assessment of his actions in the Middle East, with China and Russia can only result in this conclusion.  DEGRADED: nOBAMA’S ISIS RESPONSE PROMPTS NEW   WORRIES 
There’s chutzpah and then there’s being self-deluded. President nObama appeared to veer toward the latter when he vowed to “redouble vigilance” against ISIS in the wake of the Islamist militant’s latest and most depraved atrocity, burning alive a pilot from a key member of the U.S.-coalition fighting the group. With mounting evidence that the current U.S. strategy is not meeting the president’s promise that the group will be “degraded and ultimately defeated,” and anguished pleas from Jordan and others to move decisively against ISIS, it seems unlikely that the president will be able to stay the course in Iraq and Syria. As in other conflicts, including Libya and Afghanistan, the president will be reluctantly dragged deeper into the fight. He was pushed into this conflict by political pressure last year, and as pressure grows he will continue to escalate it. But as prior experience shows, reluctant hawks leave the fight as soon as pressure abates or shifts again, not when victory is won.  -Fox News

 What was that name again? -   And the fact that the president wouldn’t say the name of “radical Islam” and instead chose to be facile in denouncing “whatever ideology they are operating off of” as “bankrupt.” Hmmm. Which ideology is it again? Are they feminists? Dadaists? Jacobites? Maybe Jedis? If you cannot even bring yourself to say the name, how likely are you to maintain the fight even amid losses or public opposition? A senior official told the WSJ “It’s fair to say that costs haven’t risen high enough for the Russian leadership to rethink their course of action.” To be so dismissive of ISIS on the same day that your team tacitly acknowledges misunderstanding the motives and dangers of the other major, ongoing threat kind of says it all about the current condition of the nObama foreign policy. Like a point guard with a sore elbow heading into the tournament, it’s always “day-to-day.”

 DEMS TAKE RISK IN BACKING nOBAMA AMNESTY 
While Senate Democrats certainly risk being branded “obstructionists” by blocking policies favored by the Republican majority, that’s a charge with little electoral sting. As Republicans demonstrated in last year’s elections, while voters generally say they want “compromise” there is a higher price to be paid for bad votes. Blocking unpopular legislation, however, is a plus. Remember, voters don’t tell the whole story to pollsters. When survey respondents say that they believe both sides should work together to advance common goals, what they often really mean is that the other side should give up. “Obstructionist” is just another word for someone who disagrees with you. When Republicans were being branded obstructionists over the past six years, they were telling voters at home it was to block President nObama’s agenda, a strategy that delivered two midterm tsunamis for the party.  That was easy -   We’ve had two notable tests of Democratic resistance so far in the new GOP-controlled Senate. The first was on the Keystone pipeline, on which nine red- or swing-state Democrats jumped the aisle to pass. This was a low-cost vote, except for perhaps vulnerable Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, who has to face global-warming absolutists in his party base. But if the president vetoes the measure, as expected, and then vouches for Bennet, the Sierra-Club-set should be easily mollified. So, all-in-all, good politics.  -Fox News

 Texas Islamic Tribunal ‘Lawyers’ Practicing without License  
(Bob Price) - Breitbart Texas has learned the four Islamic Tribunal “lawyers” in Dallas do not appear to be licensed to practice law in Texas...A search of the State Bar of Texas’ membership lookup revealed the four men are not listed as members of the Bar. Breitbart Texas confirmed this search in a conversation with the Bar’s membership department who claimed they had no membership listing for the four individuals. The Islamic Tribunal in Dallas lists four of its members as both lawyers and judges, as was previously reported by Breitbart Texas. In a section on the group’s website, “Meet the Attorneys,” Imam Yusuf Z. Kavakci, Imam Moujahed Bakhach, Imam Zia ul Haque Sheikh and Dr. El-badawi are all listed and called attorneys. On another page the same four men are referred to as judges. The site states the Islamic Tribunal resolves business disputes, divorce (Talaq) cases, community problems, serious family problems, and Khula.      (factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - I made a promise to myself that I would not write about President nObama’s State of the Union speech because that would require me to watch him deliver it. Like many others I can barely watch him under any circumstance because, to my mind, that means having to watch a psychopathic liar. The problem with that is that he is the President for two more years.

     And then I read an article on Politico.com, “Republicans outfox Democrats on climate votes” subtitled “The GOP accepts the notion of climate change, but not in the way the Democrats wanted them to.”
     In a rational world, politicians voting on whether the climate changes or not is an absurdity. Of course the climate changes. It always has and always will. But when Democrats use the term “climate change” they really mean “global warming.” And global warming has been the greatest hoax of the modern era, getting its start in the late 1980s and becoming a huge academic industry generated by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

     Global warming put billions in the pockets of “scientists”, universities, and any think tank that would lie about it, telling the nation and the world that carbon dioxide, a gas that is barely 0.04% of the Earth’s atmosphere was warming it when, in fact, the Earth stopped warming some 19 years ago at the same time the Sun entered a natural cycle of lower solar radiation.

     Few of these “scientists” bothered to tell the public that, without carbon dioxide, we and all other life on Earth would die as it is critical to the growth of all vegetation. The fact that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has actually been increasing at the same time the Earth has been cooling is proof enough that all the warming claims were and are pure hogwash.

     It turns out that all the computer models that they and others have generated to predict a catastrophic global warming have been wrong, wrong, and wrong.

     nObama didn’t have a word to say about al Qaeda and the other Islamic fascists eager to destroy modernity and drag the world back to the Dark Age, but he did lie about 2014 as “the planet’s warmest year on record.”
     That lie was initially put out by NASA and National Oceanic and the Atmospheric Administration, (NOAA) two government agencies that shortly thereafter admitted that they might be wrong, seeing that their assertion of the 0.02 degree Celsius increase wasn’t even outside their own margin of error. They could have taken a look at their own satellite data and saved themselves from looking like idiots.

     nObama said, “I’ve heard some folks try to dodge the evidence by saying they’re not scientists; that we don’t have enough information to act. Well, I’m not a scientist, either. But you know what—I know a lot of really good scientists at NASA and NOAA, and at our major universities. The best scientists in the world are all tell us that our activities are changing the climate, and if we do not act forcefully, we’ll continue to see rising oceans, long, hotter heat waves, dangerous droughts and floods, and massive disruptions that can trigger great migration, conflict, and hunger around the globe.”

     This is lying on a galactic scale. The United States doesn’t need to do a single thing to reduce “greenhouse gas emissions”, nor should it bother to do so. nObama’s claims of catastrophic change bears no relationship to the fact that in recent years the planet has had a record low in the numbers of tornadoes and hurricanes, and a record gain in Arctic and Antarctic ice. There has been no change of any significance in the sea levels. Those who study such things note that “Until about 7,000 years ago the rate of rise was about 100 mm/decade. Since then rate of rise has averaged 10 mm/decade.” That’s “mm” as in millimeters.

     In late December, the world’s second largest reinsurer, Swiss Re, reported on the losses from natural events in 2014 and, despite predictions that climate change would cause more frequent natural catastrophes due to man-made worsening of the climate, it saw “markedly less damage claims than in previous years” and far less loss of lives.” In terms of the dollars it cost the insurance industry, Swiss Re estimated that costs insurers covered were USD $113 billion in 2014, down from USD $135 billion in 2013. Losses were down 24% from 2013.

     That, of course, doesn’t matter to nObama. It should, however, matter to the rest of us because the Environmental Protection Agency has been using those computer models and abjectly phony “science” to wage nObama’s war on the nation’s providers of the energy on which we all depend. From coal-fired plants to drilling for oil and natural gas, anything that might provide energy is under attack by the EPA.

     As Katie Tubb, a research assistant for the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies at The Heritage Foundation, responded to nObama’s claim saying that “The EPA’s proposed regulations would have almost zero impact on global temperatures, but will certainly impact Americans now and for future generations.”

     So, when you read about a bunch of U.S. Senators, only one of whom, Oklahoma’s Sen. James Inhofe (R) has a grasp of the real science, spent time voting back and forth over amendments and their language regarding the climate, you were in fact really reading about the debate leading up to the passage of the bill that would remove nObama’s authority to prevent the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

     Between a President who lies about global warming and climate change, and a Congress composed mostly of lawyers who are clueless about the actual science, the best we can hope for is a Republican Party determined to rein in the EPA and other government agencies; the reason they were voted into office.

After condemning ISIL, a “brutal, vicious death cult” that bears no semblance to Muhammad, Obama remarked, “We see sectarian war in Syria, the murder of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria, religious war in the Central African Republic, a rising tide of anti-Semitism and hate crimes in Europe, so often perpetrated in the name of religion.” Rather than stopping there, Obama borrowed from his “spread the wealth” scheme by spreading the blame: “[L]est we get on our high horse and think [ruthless murder] is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.” Some actions the crusaders took were wrong and unjustifiable, but that was also 800 years ago, while jihadis are beheading journalists and slaughtering schoolchildrentoday. Oh, and by the way, the theme of the breakfast was “Remembering the Armenian Genocide of 1915,” in which more than one million Christians were slaughtered by Muslims. Obama is conflating every humans' inherently sinful nature with two entirely contradictory teachings: Christians are commanded to show love and compassion, while Muhammad’s pseudo-religion calls for killing infidels. Did Obama attend the National Prayer Breakfast to affirm his self-proclaimed Christian faith, or to once again sympathize with Muslim believers? Leftmedia Moves to Protect Brian Williams

Brian Williams' apology over fabricating his story about a 2003 Chinook ride in Iraq has shoveled more crow into the mouths of NBC executives than the time The New York Times ate humble pie when it corrected a story because it misidentified a My Little Pony character. Granted, confusing Fluttershy with Twilight Sparkle is nothing like exaggerating a war story to feed ego. But Williams may get away scot-free because NBC wants this whole debacle around its star anchor to blow over. In December, the celebrity anchor signed a five-year contract with NBC to the tune of $10 million a year. Nevertheless, the only person publicly defending Williams is disgraced CBS anchorDan Rather. “I can attest that – like his predecessor Tom Brokaw – he is a superb pro, and a gutsy one,” Rather said. Behind closed doors, though, NBC employees are fuming. The New York Post reports Brokaw “wants Williams' head on a platter.” Another NBC employee described Williams as a “real pompous piece of s—.” NBC faces a choice: Either fire Williams to preserve the organization’s remaining reputation, or keep the talking hairdo because he’s “a gutsy pro.”More…

Obama’s Student-Debt Giveaway Cost $22 Billion

Last year, Barack Obama broadened the “Pay As You Earn” student-debt federal giveaway. As usual, it was a wealth-transfer scheme – giving taxpayer money away to the coveted votes of young people. Even Obama’s buddies at Politico are astounded at the cost of his “generosity.” Michael Grunwald reports, “In obscure data tables buried deep in its 2016 budget proposal, the Obama administration revealed this week that its student loan program had a $21.8 billion shortfall last year, apparently the largest ever recorded for any government credit program.” Worse, “because of a quirk in the budget process for credit programs, the [Education] department can add the $21.8 billion to the deficit automatically, without seeking appropriations or even approval from Congress.” Like every other program Obama calls for, he wants to “pay for it” by taking money from upper-bracket taxpayers. “This should be a no-brainer,” he said last summer. “It would be scandalous if we allowed those kinds of tax loopholes for the very, very fortunate to survive while students are having trouble just getting started in their lives.” In other words, it’s his money to dispense with as he pleases. The real scandal is that Obama has dumped an $8 trillion truckload of new debt onto the backs of our children and grandchildren – all while claiming a mantle of fiscal responsibility. Our national debt now stands at an astounding $18.1 trillion. That’s more than $145,000 per American household. And he’s not done yet.

IRS Grows Because of ObamaCare

The IRS doesn’t have the manpower to hunt down and fine the millions of people who don’t have health insurance, so, in Barack Obama’s proposed budget to Congress, his favorite Tea Party-targeting bureaucracy gets a budget increase of nearly $2 billion – for a grand total of $13.9 billion in the next fiscal year. “The billions of dollars will help the agency bolster its staff by adding more than 9,280 full-time employees,” The Daily Signal reports. “The proposed jump in employment at the IRS is an 11 percent increase from 2015. To enforce the 46 new tax provisions of the Affordable Care Act specifically, the IRS asked for $67 million. That will cover 483 new employees related to Obamacare’s implementation.” IRS Tax Commissioner John Koskinen warned that the agency would be inundated with processing returns this year, and “customers” may not be happy. We’re sure the glut of money will fix all that. Next tax season, expect an even bigger, meaner and more invasive IRS – unless our new Republican majorities can somehow summon the Audacity of Nope. More…

Team Clinton Doctor Skeptical of Vaccines

The leftist-spun vaccine debacle brought presumed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton out of the shadows. Taking a stab at “anti-science” conservatives, she tweeted, “The science is clear: The earth is round, the sky is blue, and #vaccineswork. Let’s protect all our kids.” Like any good two-faced leftist, Hillary was singing a different tune in 2008 when she promised to “make investments to find the causes of autism, including possible environmental causes like vaccines.” That might explain Team Clinton’s choice for family practitioner, who agreed with the old Hillary but not the new. The Daily Caller reveals, “A doctor who was profiled by The New York Times for his close personal and professional relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton has expressed skepticism about vaccines and touted research that found a link between childhood vaccinations and autism.” Dr. Mark Hyman, together with co-author Robert Kennedy Jr., expounded on this suspicion in “Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak.” According to the Caller, “In the book and in a recent TV appearance on ‘Dr. Oz,’ Hyman and Kennedy expressed concern that the mercury in thimerosal, a preservative used in some vaccines, is associated with autism, developmental delays and certain illnesses.” As we previously noted, parents should research the issue and be as knowledgeable as possible. The Big Unemployment Lie

The U.S. economy added 257,000 jobs in January, but the headline unemployment rate rose one-tenth of a point to 5.7%. The broader measure, known as the U-6 rate, also climbed from 11.2% to 11.3%. That’s mixed good news, since slight growth in record-low labor participation likely caused the rate spike. Even when we create jobs in the Obama economy, we seem to lose ground.

One of the problems is that each month’s jobs report pushes the same fraudulent narrative embraced by Barack Obama’s administration since before his re-election. To hear Obama tell it, the country’s current unemployment rate is pretty much back to where it was before the Great Recession. Therefore, the economy is on the mend, and we have the Great One’s policies to thank for it.

None of this is true.

The so-called official unemployment rate that is recorded and made public by the Bureau of Labor Statistics is known as the U-3 rate, but it doesn’t provide the full jobs picture for the country. The U-3 number records only those people who are currently out of work, not receiving any employment income and actively seeking new employment.

Yet there is an alarmingly vast swath of people who aren’t counted in these “official” unemployment numbers. Skilled laborers who have been out of work for a sustained period of time who earn at least $20 in a week are not considered unemployed under U-3. Nor are people working part-time but seeking full-time work to support their families.

Jim Clifford, Chairman and CEO of Gallup, wrote this week, “The official unemployment rate, which cruelly overlooks the suffering of the long-term and often permanently unemployed as well as the depressingly underemployed, amounts to a Big Lie.”

In fact, the unemployment rate “goes down” when more people leave the workforce than continue looking for work. So the worse reality gets, the better the headlines can be.

If we want a true sense of the unemployment picture, we should focus on the U-6 rate. This unemployment figure is publicly available, though it never receives the fanfare or public scrutiny that the U-3 number does. Indeed, one has to dig for the U-6 number; the Obama administration would never deliberately bring it up in a press release or a news conference. The U-6 rate is a look at real unemployment – not just those who are out of work, but also those who’ve been out of work so long that they’re no longer counted in the U-3 report.

That’s why we note the U-6 rate every month.

The underemployment picture is even worse. This group, including those mentioned above who are working but not at the level they should be based on skill or economic need, is 15.9%. If you adhere to Gallup’s definition of a good job as 30-plus hours per week with a regular paycheck, then only 44% of the eligible adult population is working full-time. (Stay-at-home moms and certain others aren’t counted in the working population, but 44% is still a shockingly low rate in a supposedly healthy economy.)

Politicians in Washington can’t seem to understand why unemployment is down and people just aren’t “feeling it.” Well, they’re not feeling it because most of them aren’t seeing it. Regardless of the rosy picture that the White House paints with its misleading data, Clifton notes, “Right now, as many as 30 million Americans are either out of work or severely underemployed. Trust me, the vast majority of them aren’t throwing parties to toast ‘falling’ unemployment.”

If we continue to gloss over this very real jobs problem, we can’t create the conditions that are necessary for a real economic recovery.

Dictators and leftists often embrace the old saw that if a lie is repeated often enough, it becomes reality. Such is the case with our “official” unemployment rate. The White House embraces it for the sake of political expediency. The Leftmedia embrace it because they love to report good news when there’s a Democrat in the White House. Wall Street embraces it because they want investors to keep buying stocks. And so, the rest of the country is led to believe that all is well and getting better.

The time has come to face the facts as they exist, not as the Leftmedia want us to see them.

Help Wanted: Republicans Seek ObamaCare Replacement

While the House voted to repeal ObamaCare several dozen times over the last four years, the present-day political reality dictates a repeal and replace strategy. It’s disappointing to the constitutional purists among us who can’t seem to find much of a federal role for health care within that hallowed founding document, but at least we know some Republicans in Congress are trying to move in a better direction.

The newest Republican alternative is called thePatient Choice, Affordability, Responsibility and Empowerment Act – or Patient CARE Act for short. Patient CARE’s key attribute is the elimination of the coverage mandate, but it sweetens the pot for remaining in the system by providing targeted tax credits for lower- and middle-class families to assist with the purchase of plans, while allowing insurers to sell plans across state lines – a longtime goal of conservative health coverage reformers. The Patient CARE Act also places a much-needed cap on monetary damages for medical malpractice.

In a nod to those who supported some of ObamaCare’s provisions, the GOP alternative maintains the ability for “children” to stay on their parents' plans until the age of 26, and it accommodates those with pre-existing conditions, although this would be handled in a different manner.

Senators Richard Burr (R-NC) and Orrin Hatch (R-UT) sponsored the bill, with an identical House version sponsored by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI). Burr and Hatch, along with former Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn, outlined a similar package last year but never introduced it as legislation.

It may become more appealing to both sides of the aisle if the Obama administration loses its Supreme Court case dealing with the legality of subsidies given to insurance purchasers in states using the federal exchange – not that Obama’s goons are too worried about defending the voluminous law. When it was written, federal bean counters simply assumed every state would have an exchange, so they wrote the language authorizing federal subsidies accordingly. But when 36 states opted not to create their own exchange, a legitimate legal issue arose – one that could tear apart ObamaCare as we know it.

There are, of course, many reasons to scrap ObamaCare and start anew. Among them are the inconvenient truths that insurance costs have risen, patient choices for doctors have decreased and competition between insurers on the exchanges is non-existent in many locations. Coupled with the fact ObamaCare’s budget is balanced on the backs of Medicare providers – which seems to be a feature and not a bug with the overall plan – the impetus to do something increases even further.

It’s almost certain that Obama’s signature legislation will last at least as long as his presidency does. But if a Republican is triumphant in 2016 and retains GOP majorities in the House and Senate, the life expectancy of ObamaCare will decrease. The Affordable Care Act is neither affordable nor beneficial for the standard of care. And it was sold to the American people on apack of lies. So while the Patient CARE Act isn’t a perfect remedy, it would at least soothe the worst symptoms of Obama’s legacy.

Militants working for ISIS’ all-female police force in Syria have released a manifesto on the role of women – claiming children as young as nine should be encouraged to get married and condemning beauty parlours as the work of the devil.

The chilling document, titled ‘Women in the Islamic State’, demands women live a completely ‘sedentary’ lifestyle and that their role in life should be primarily to remain ‘hidden and veiled’ and at the service of men, who are described as their masters.

The manifesto urges ‘pure’ females to ensure they are married by 16, ‘while they are still young and active’, but insists that children as young as nine can ‘legitimately’ marry adult men.

It goes on to state that beauty parlours and shops selling fashionable clothes must not be tolerated as they are both instruments of the devil designed to encourage women to spend vast amounts of money to change God’s design.

The document is the first of its kind to be released by ISIS’ all-female Al-Khansa Brigade and while it claims not to have been written or approved by ISIS’ leadership, it provides a disturbing look at the way women living under the terror group’s barbaric regime can expect to be viewed and treated.

Islamic Scholar Outlines, Endorses and Justifies Child Rape by Muhammad’s Example With Aisha:

The document was originally released by the Al-Khansa Brigade last month but as it was written in Arabic, it failed to make an impact on Western ISIS jihadis or supporters. To avoid the crucial information being lost to English-language terror experts, the counter-extremism think tank Quilliam has now fully translated the manifesto and released its own analysis of its contents.

In stark contradiction to the way life under the rule of ISIS is portrayed on social media, the document explains that the primary duty of Western women who join the terror group is to marry a jihadi, then spend their life cooking, cleaning and raising a family.

It suggests that young Western women who spend their time online boasting of leading an exciting and fulfilling lifestyle under the rule of ISIS are lying, possibly under pressure from the group’s leadership who want to encourage a greater number of women to travel to Syria and marry fighters.

The document describes how women in the once relatively Westernised Syrian city of Raqqa are now ‘liberated’ by laws demanding they are fully covered in public, as it prevents their ‘humiliation’.

Despite talk of mass hunger, struggling hospitals, electricity blackouts and a near collapse of the local economy, the Al-Khansa Brigade writer insists that ISIS has eradicated poverty in the areas under its control and that hospitals are full of ‘modern medical technology that could treat all those suffering from chronic diseases, including cancer’.

‘Women benefit from a substantial amount of these services, for example the maternity hospital, which provides specialist care for mother and son who are examined by pediatricians who give them the cures they need, the document says.

The manifesto begins with a lengthy rejection of Western values, including financial systems and scientific research. The author attacks studying ‘the brain cells of crows, grains of sand and fish arteries’ as a distraction from the fundamental purpose of humanity, to worship God.

In one of many moments of hypocrisy in the document however, the Al-Khansa Brigade writer states that certain scientific research ‘that help facilitate the lives of Muslims and their affairs are permissible’, outlining such necessities as including medicine, agriculture and architecture.

The bulk of the manifesto focuses on the role of women, slamming feminism as contrary to God’s plan and insisting that the roles of men and women have become confused as women no longer fully submit to their master husband.

This, the author claims, is largely the fault of men, who have allowed their ‘God-given right’ for dominance over women to dwindle, ‘forcing women away from their true role’ and leaving them ‘confused and complacent’ within the home.

‘Because men are serving women like themselves, men cannot distinguish themselves from them… if men were men then women would be women,’ the author states.

The implication is those fighting for ISIS are ‘real men’, whereas men living in the West have become weak and submissive. This is something the Al-Khansa Brigade believes angers a God who made women ‘from Adam and for Adam’.

Describing everyday life in ISIS’ de facto capital Raqqa, the manifesto says that the city has become the primary destination for all foreigners looking to join the Islamic State.

‘It is a haven for them to flee with their religion from the oppression of tyrants in the east and west and place in which they are privileged with elegant homes that harbour friends of God,’ it says.

‘The way of life for women in Raqqa does not differ from that in Mosul. Security, justice, fairness, healthy living, education and healthcare are all of equal importance in the Caliphate,’ it adds.

The document paints life in the city as extremely multicultural, with the author listing her immediate neighbours as an Arab, a Chechen and a Kazach.

‘There is no difference between Arabs and Persians, blacks or whites. All are under the rule of Islam. It is not possible to live in this Islamic way in any place ruled by tyrants, who implement nationalism over religion and patriotism over Shariah,’ the document states.

‘Tribes are merged and races join under the banner of monotheism, resulting in new generations within which are gathered the cultures of many different peoples, one a beautiful meeting, and harmonious alliance,’ it adds.

Little is known about ISIS’ Al-Khansa Brigade, although they are thought to act as a kind of all-female police force inside Raqqa and in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Dozens of young British women have used social media to boast of joining the force – claiming to be doling out savage beatings, punishment lashings, ordering executions and managing brothels where thousands of Yazidi sex slaves are imprisoned and raped daily after being sold for as little as £27.

Britons including privately-educated Glaswegian Aqsa Mahmood, 20, and Lewisham-born Khadijah Dare, 22, are understood to have joined the Al-Khansa Brigade in Raqqa, helping to patrol the city with guns and daggers hidden beneath their religious robes.

Other Britions believed to have been joined the Al Khansa Brigade include the Manchester-born ‘terror twins’ Zahra and Salma Halane, who have 28 GCSE’s between them.

The group, which is largely made-up of educated Western women, operates as an ultra-oppressive police force monitoring the behaviour of females in the city – meting out brutal punishments to anyone wearing shoes that aren’t black, or those wearing veils made from the wrong material.

Thanks to the head-to-toe niqabs all women living in ISIS-held territory are forced to wear, the Al-Khansa Brigade also acts as a Stasi-esque secret police force – with members covertly spying on men suspected of wrongdoing, before reporting them to ISIS’ feared Hisbah religious authority.

Although the figures are impossible to independently verify, the Terrorism Research and Analysis Consortium (TRAC) believes as many as 60 British nationals are currently members of Al-Khansa.

Shepard Smith anchor at Fox News complained January 20th, 2015 that the White House had dropped the word ‘News’ from Fox News Placeholders at the State of the Union Lunch Obama held to map out all of their key talking points for his address, hoping no doubt to assure they got it right. Shepard pointed out as he sat next to Brian Williams he noticed his placeholder sign read ‘Brian Williams NBC News’. Then he looked over at David Muir’s from ABC and it read ‘David Muir ABC News’. Both his and fellow anchor from Fox News Bret Baier’s simple read their names with the word “Fox” under it. Remember in 2009 the Obama Administration’s attempt to shut Fox News completely out of the White House Press Core?

Many of the comments over at the NATIONAL REVIEW ONLINE Story defended the sleight of hand story claiming Fox News didn’t report ‘news’ and I quickly thought none of the other networks have either when it comes to the Appeal over at the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, the stories of history are being made, but no one is covering it. No one is writing stories about it. What story you ask? Hummmmm.

Yet another first has happened in American political and judicial History and no one see’s the story? ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX news have not called in their political and judicial experts to review the fact that two very experienced Justices have just been laced with corruption charges for failing to recuse themselves destroying a whole panels ORDER and JUDGEMENT and causing a shadow of embarrassment for the whole U.S. Court of Appeals 10th Circuit Court. That’s actually the biggest win in the Nation yet for Birthers who have been protesting that the United States Constitution was in jeopardy!

Of course if the United States Constitution is in jeopardy then so is every black robe in every Court including those of the United States Supreme Court under it, as well as every U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator’s seat, I think and hope you get the point of how important the U.S. Constitution is for all of these positions. Without the U.S. Constitution they simply don’t exist. Ask George Washington how many times King George wiped out the Congress or elected spokesman for the people and called for new elections before our Revolution? That was one of the very angering ways decisions by the elected were subverted entirely by the King and what led to our Revolution. Minus that and it might not have ever happened.

What has happened in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals is by all accounts fascinating for political junkies. Never in all of Birther History for sure has a Judgment and Order by a panel of Judges been wiped out so cleanly. Ok, break it down why is this fascinating? 

Well, when you consider how many Birther Cases have gone up to the United States Supreme Court now and been denied. How many? I can think of more than six, maybe even more than a dozen starting with Phil Berg’s case since 2008 I’ll let NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX News work on that details of that one, (Do you feel vindicated now Shepard Smith (smile), you will see that we never see which Justices are involved in the Conferences if a panel is used or whose on the panel? All we have ever received is “No” answer meaning in conference the Justices refused to take it up.

As we take a step down on the decisions or opinion’s rendered to get to the U.S. Supreme Court we are necessarily faced with two general Courts. Those of a State Supreme Court’s often also deciding not to take it up with no opinion; just a denial or a affirmation of the lower Courts decision, or a U.S. Court of Appeals Circuit Court decision.

So out of all the Court’s in the United States rendered on Birther or the Article II Patriot Platform, we have essentially no word from whose decision was “No” on the U.S. Supreme Court cases, and no opinion’s from the U.S. Supreme Court. Further we have a few Court of Appeal’s opinion’s and a few State Court Decisions that basically upheld the lower Court’s Standing arguments against the plaintiff’s or petitioners smashing their cases into a billion pieces. That’s all we have. Probably the most significant of those was in fact the one from the 9th Circuit Court Orly Taitz argued with a candidate for office in toe Allan Keyes Barnett v. Debra Bowen, but this made no claim for damages to a Campaign and was leveled at the California Secretary of State for basically failing to vet Obama.

That case did not level a claim of damages against Obama for say the infraction of stating he was qualified under oath for the office he was seeking should he be elected. In defense of The Secretary of State(s) they are more or less either relying on what the Candidate says or what the Party’s nomination form states for the Candidate. Rep. Nancy Pelosi filed two forms for Obama in 2008 one for Hawaii and one for the other 49 states dues to Hawaii’s assertion that it must be known that he was qualified under the U.S. Constitution’s demands and not for simply the parties choice. To my knowledge there has never been damage assessment made from any Campaign accept mine against Obama’s Campaign based on his not being qualified. This figures that a Campaign against Obama has not suffered injury or loss due to the investment of the Campaign including commercials, web pages, travel and on and on and on.

In truth I don’t think Allan Keyes Campaign even made commercials at all and sure didn’t come close to Mitt Romney’s Campaign, my campaign actually kept up and so suffered a much heavier or substantial loss or damage as a result of Obama’s ineligibility. So in a sense you had a big claim for damages but the only real damages was a claim against the office of the President itself. No monetary claim whatsoever.

Now to understand the special circumstances coming out of the loss February 3rd, 2015 of Judy v. Obama et.al., is to look at the real victory that unfolded. Unparalleled in any Birther Case History is a total destruction of a Circuit Court of Appeals opinion which has imploded upon that Court by its own dereliction of Justice. You might even call that a manifestation of the Case’s Merit or else why would the Court lower itself to such an implosion of Court corruption?
Two of the three Justices of that panel have received direct favor from two presidential candidates who I opposed in 2012- Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The Defendant’s/Appellee’s in this case are Barack Obama his Campaign Corporation(s) and the DNC Officials and the DNC as a Corporation.

Justice Gregory A. Phillips received his nomination from Defendant Obama. Justice Carlos F. Lucero received his nomination from President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton’s husband. Their very employment in the 10th Circuit Court would not be possible without that favor, so it’s very significant as it encompasses the defendant’s of the case in relation to competitors with or against the Plaintiff, me. If these two Justices would not have their jobs without Obama and Clinton I’d say they favored them and to say otherwise is …what was the words they used to describe my case…wholly incredible, frivolous, and malicious? That fits pretty well actually. Never before in any case against Obama’s eligibility has this happened and it’s a big win! It puts the Court itself on defense, smashes or renders the opinion into a billion pieces and requires the further Action of the Court on the question, “What are they going to do now?”.

To deny that favor exist of which recusal was merited invokes a real claim for corruption that pretty much anyone could comprehend. That’ doesn’t take a legal genius or a great understanding of law. What are the options? Well, they can regroup, form another Panel of three or five they feel has no bias or issue in the Campaign Races and Presidential Appointments of the last decade and render another decision. They could defer the question to the United States Supreme Court for settlement saying “hey, listen we have a problem down here and don’t know the best way to handle it. Could you assist?” 

Either way it invokes careful consideration and maybe more eyes on the case itself. In Birther or Article II Patriot Platform history has that ever happened in a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals? The answer is no, and that means we are in new territory never explored which is for all intensive purposes a victory of progress for we have never been able like this to lay a claim on ‘injustice’ in the Court the population could understand.

Ok so we have established a connection between the Defendant’s and two Justices of the three-Judge- panel. Did their decision reflect that partiality in a reasonable consideration? Let’s break that down.

PART II.

To understand the absurdity of the Justices declaration that “no claim upon which relief could be granted has been made” would be like stating while looking at a dead body with a head chopped off, no murder has taken place upon which the death penalty exist for; or while looking at a recently robbed banks vault that the joker had just emptied and saying, ‘no burglary has taken place upon which a relief exist. I mean you could say that because maybe the murder didn’t happen in our Country or the Joker is a foreigner not subject to our laws, but that really gets into the absurd realms of extremism and the far limbs and twigs of justice. I think with all of the legal experience we do in this nation, all the brilliant legal minds that we have, that we can do better.

The Justices in the panel decision basically said two things upon two different subjects. First, allowing me third person leeway here speaking as my lawyer, regarding Cody’s Civil Rights as a Candidate for the Office of the President they said in so many words that Cody has no right to a fair and equal race that is based upon the rules within the Constitution’s declarations in the qualifications for the Office of the President because there are no penalties that exist or that have been let’s say criminally or congressionally codified. This is not true.

Acknowledging the truth, Cody has stated, well the entire race for my Presidency has cost around this much and those are the damages that have been received upon me personally, and upon my Campaign based on Obama’s Campaign in this particular race. Its’ like an accident and any insurance job that the defendant should be responsible for because of his reckless and irresponsible driving. Obama should have known better. He claims a license of responsibility. I mean if someone comes up and totals your car wouldn’t you want it fixed by his insurance?

This case not only shows Cody’s civil rights were violated which are absolutely declared in the Constitution by the rules, and the disregard of those rules comporting a standard of illegality, further by some pretty well known Constitutional Acts of Congress (Sherman & Clayton Acts) that actually spell out penalties for the Court to uphold and declare Cody has a right to spell them out to the Court without an Attorney General doing it. That’s Big! It certainly doesn’t happen often, and perhaps never has been seen in the Court. As such it is really new for the Court’s consideration.

To back that up, the Panel of Three Judges did entertain in their language that Cody could not point to a single case like it, but it was done in more of a mocking way to shall we say scuttle ingenuity and unique creativity afforded to an individual, oh say like the recent plea’s for same sex marriage to be given the same tax breaks as heterosexual marriages? Yes, the Court’s have not upheld that for a very long time, it’s pretty unique and the Court even mentions that in their decision June 25th, 2014 in Kitchen v. Herbert.

To for instance render a decision like the Court’s ORDER and JUDGEMENT gave me to the same-sex marriage Plaintiff’s would be for the Court to tell them they were sick and wrong, needed to repent, and find opposite sex relationships to assist in population growth and the continuation of the species BECAUSE that was normal. I pointed this out to the Court. Just because they haven’t seen a case like this in their lifetime or our American History in the Judicial Branch doesn’t give weight to dismissing the principles and good reason they haven’t – No one’s violated them like this usurper since they have been alive!

Now the Court might say “well, no other candidate for President has come to the Court and asked for recompense.” To which, Cody has stated, “You know what there is a good reason for that? The reason Mitt Romney hasn’t come in is because he was actually made an indirect recipient of good will or favor if he wouldn’t. The evidence of that is in U.S. Sen. Res. 511 where all the Republican U.S. Senators voted for a non-binding resolution that naturalized McCain’s ‘natural born citizenship’ in a similar process that an alien would be naturalized. Yes, the Court received this in my pleadings.

This didn’t go through The House of Representatives and it wasn’t signed by an eligible President so it’s non-binding however, the favors that are attached to it are very binding in support politically for his candidacy for President. Would anyone deny that if Mitt Romney really embarrassed the entire spectrum of Republican Senators exposing their drunkenness at a party they were all involved in that they would support him? Think about every State having two Senators and that body being controlled by Democrats. That means Mitt Romney can’t afford to lose a single U.S. Senator, he needs everyone of their support.

Now it wasn’t Mitt Romney’s fault that every single Republican U.S. Senator in 2008 made a deal with all three candidates in U.S. Sen. Res 511 co-sponsor Hillary Clinton and co-sponsor Barack Obama for Sen. McCain but it sure was the ticket he was running on and he had to procure the favor of support and the compromise to that was not to claim damages against Obama’s Campaign for his not being qualified as a natural born Citizen. He also backed away from McCain in 2008 who he’d lost to and failed to bring it up in-house Republican nomination. I didn’t. I jumped in and sued McCain before Obama in fact like the good little write-in Candidate I was.

To say otherwise, Mitt Romney would have to publically declare he didn’t care or need any Republican U.S. Senator’s support. Then he would also have to declare that he didn’t believe in the U.S. Constitution’s demand and qualifications for the Office of the President and he’d rather subvert them in much the same manner Obama has handed out exemptions for Obamacare and ObamaAmnesty which grants Amnesty by Executive Order refusing to uphold Congressional Legislated laws based on a term referred to as deferred prosecution which amounts to a Presidential Favor or pardon from a particular law, order or judgment. Can you imagine those questions being aired on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox news and discussed in their panels over coffee?

Some say the Democrats want more naturalization populations in any form possible Amnesty included because they can get people on the political dole by giving them help and support and telling them if they vote Republican they would necessarily have all this help they are receiving taken away. Some say Republicans don’t mind the same process because it attracts people who are hard workers and want also to preserve the opportunity America offers in keeping the fruits of your own labors and private property ownership along with a slew of other civil rights not afforded in other Countries.

Really the totality of the argument rest upon how big of a swath and how fast it happens because America has always maintained an open door for legal immigration and we are a Country of historical immigrants if you want to walk the trail backwards in every family that has come under the umbrella of the United States Constitution. The problem has been how to handle a rush and break down on the door for those who chose to smash it down or not come through the front door legally. Its’ Congress’s job to decide how big that door is but if they make it the whole border our Nations sovereignty can be placed in jeopardy for a nation without borders is no nation at all and most Nations would agree with that.

If the U.S. all of a sudden decided to not respect borders, oh let’s just say Obama invaded Libya supplied weapons to the gangs taking over the Country killing the President, then pretty soon other nations wouldn’t think very highly of us. Oh I’m sorry, I used an example of Democrats not respecting borders and using our military complex to take over things. That’s kind of a bad example because that’s actually why people want to come to America because they are fleeing oppressive governments and if we are one there’s no reason to come. Maybe that’s what Obama is trying to get across and no one’s printing the story of it? Let’s get back to our discussion as we’ve digressed three paragraphs.

So in theory for the Court, I have argued former Governor Mitt Romney actually has already received his compensation by an award of favor and so he didn’t need to go to Court to get one. I on the other hand have not received any favor from the Republican U.S. Senate and their might be a good reason for that. I sued Sen. McCain in 2008 for not being a ‘natural born Citizen.’ If all of McCain’s U.S. Senator buddies voted for U.S. Sen. Res. 511, and they did, that would necessarily put me on the outside of their favor and I explained this to the Court as a reason they didn’t hear from Gov. Romney as the Republican Nominee in 2012.

The Court cannot simply continue to refuse justice to third parties and independent political stands for fair and equal treatment under the laws. Our Country allows third party candidates allows write-in candidates, and those laws while exercised rarely have claim on precedent cases of the U.S. Supreme Court: Namely Minor v. Happersett which declares a natural born Citizen to be born in the U.S. to Citizen parents! Obama fails this and it’s a decision rendered in a higher court that the lower courts are suppose to uphold!

This panel of Judges in the 10th Circuit Court have not only compromised themselves by not recusing two of the three judges with conflicts of interest favoring the defendant/Appellee, but have set out to flip the bird at the United States Supreme Court precedent case law. It is on those conditions we must at the least recognize this as a big win!

Update: Here are the three very important questions I posed to the Court to justify Rehearing if:

Question #1- Does Justice Gregory A. Phillips having ENTERED FOR THE COURT the ORDER AND JUDGEMENT on this case February 3rd,2015 having been considered to the U.S. Senate for Confirmation with the favor of the Appellee/Defendant in this case, Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro in the nomination process and thus his very employment as a Justice in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals constitute an prejudiced dismissal summarily instigated upon the Plaintiff that would seem at best a compromise of judicial discipline in recusal decorum and at worst an impeachable offense?

Question#2- June 25th, 2014 this Court handed down a decision favorable to ‘individual rights’, considered standing and upheld marriage in Kitchen v. Herbert No. 13-4178 and considered the rights of an individual who is unpopular more important per the conflicting referendum of all the people in the entire State of Utah and it’s Constitutional Amendment in the State, which does not come on political easy street; isn’t the ORDER AND JUDGEMENT of this case dismissing it as frivolous a conflict of the Court’s own interest and judgment in that case in the interest of Individual Rights?

Question#3- The conflicting statements in the ORDER and JUDGEMENT asserted by the Court leave criminal mischief, fraud, forgery, and a declaration of the precedent case in Minor v. Happersett regarding a natural born Citizen being “Born in the U.S. to Citizen Parents” by the U.S. Supreme Court undefended and a wreck; and fair elections on equal terms for all the Candidates, per race, per qualifications within the U.S. Constitution in total disarray and the Appellant/Plaintiff without recourse in the infringements of his Civil Rights to a fair race; Does this not deserve the attention of the full Court and the political corrections that might be made for the next general election where the entire U.S. population has a stake and claim for fairness, equal treatment under the law in the considerations of our Republic?

Rumors were flying that King Abdullah of Jordan would pilot some bombing strikes against ISIS

Jordanian government spokesman Muhammad al-Momani denied reports that the King personally participated in bombing raids against ISIS, in a statement issued Thursday. But he certainly could have and may still do it. He is more than qualified.

Daily Caller (h/t Liz) It was reported that Jordan’s King Abdullah ibn al-Hussein, Jordan’s King Abdullah, a former general and special forces commander, who has trained as a pilot, may fly a bomber himself on Thursday in the country’s retaliation against the ISIS.

Several Arabic-language newspapers reported late Wednesday that the monarch would personally participate in bombing raids on the terrorist group, citing his vow Tuesday to “strike them in their strongholds.”

The king was in Washington when news broke Tuesday of pilot Muadh al-Kasasbeh’s demise at the hands of ISIS extremists. Meeting with the House Armed Services Committee shortly before leaving for Amman, he reportedly quoted the Clint Eastwood’s film “Unforgiven” and said that Jordan would pursue the jihadis until it ran “out of fuel and bullets.”

Rep. Duncan Hunter, a Marine vet, who was in the meeting, told Fox News that given the ruler’s immediate and vehement reaction, “King Abdullah is not Barack Obama.”

A terse initial statement from the Jordanian Air Force on Thursday said that planes had returned from a retaliatory mission, and that they passed over Kasasbeh’s hometown of Karak, presumably in a gesture of condolence, before landing in Amman. The deceased pilot’s father, Safi al-Kasasbeh, reported a phone call from the king, saying that the planes attacked Raqqa, ISIS’ de facto capital in Syria, though the military has not confirmed the attack’s target.

BizPac Review (h/t Mike F) Jordan is making good on its threat of revenge for the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot by the Islamic State.  The Jordanian Air Force killed 55 ISIS fighters, including a top-level Islamic State leader known as the “Prince of Nineveh” in air strikes carried out Wednesday, according to Iraqi media.

A Jordanian government spokesman told Reuters that the Middle Eastern kingdom will increase its role in the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS and that they are leaving all options on the table. 

Abdullah is setting an example on fighting ISIS that other leaders should follow. Particularly the one who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Barack nObama refuses to acknowledge that basic tenets of Islam are the ideological foundation of the Islamic State and its army of terrorists.  Senate Has Opportunity in Ashton Carter Hearing  
Those worried about the White House's farce of a foreign policy may find some solace in Barack nObama's nominee for secretary of defense, Ashton Carter. In written testimony to Congress ahead of his nomination hearing today, Carter said he would question nObama's party line in situations like the drawdown from Afghanistan and the relationship with Iran. While the administration courts the state sponsor of terrorism, Carter wrote to Congress, "Countering Iranian destabilizing activities must be an important priority. Regardless of the outcome of nuclear negotiations, I firmly believe that the United States must also counter these destabilizing regional activities, including Iran's support to terrorists and militant groups." Instead of simply using today's hearing to vent frustration over nObama's failed foreign policy, senators should use this time to establish a working relationship with Carter.  nObama Hits 'Mindless' Sequester Again  
Speaking about his 2016 budget proposal, Barack nObama offered an olive branch -- with which he whacked Republicans. "I want to work with Congress to replace mindless austerity with smart investments," he said, adding, "We can do so in a way that is fiscally responsible." He continued along this line: "I'm not going to accept a budget that locks in sequestration going forward. It would be bad for our security and bad for our growth. ... Part of the reason why we grew faster last year was [that] we were no longer being burdened by mindless across-the-board cuts." First, the sequester was nObama's idea. He used it to gain the upper hand against Republicans in 2011 budget negotiations. For years, the nObama administration has skirted immigration laws, giving out hundreds of thousands of work permits to people who came into this nation with either no visa, or merely student or tourist visas. Since 2009, the nObama administration has handed out 5.46 million work permits, with 532,000 given to people with student visas, 470,000 on tourist visas and 156,000 for dependents of students or guest workers.  Democrats Taunt GOP Over Immigration Response  
The Democrat minority in the Senate was just enough to stall a GOP bill undoing Barack nObama's unconstitutional executive action on immigration. All 46 Democrats and two Republicans voted against the bill funding the Department of Homeland Security Tuesday. The last session of Congress passed a temporary measure to fund DHS until February, when the new, GOP-led Congress could confront nObama on his immigration actions. But now, the Democrats are reveling in the power they have to jam the legislative process. And nObama still continues to flaunt his executive actions. On Wednesday, he hosted six youths who are in this country due to his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. A White House official told The Hill nObama did this to "reiterate that his executive actions are lawful." Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid cackled, "We all know this is going to end with a bill funding Homeland Security that goes to the president. We'll wind up passing a clean bill so why do we wait, why do we agonize?" The lines are drawn on the congressional floor. The first one, Amedy Coulibaly, murdered four Jews at a kosher store in Paris on Jan. 9...this second one injured three soldiers yesterday as they protected a Jewish community center in Nice. Police say Moussa Coulibaly, about 30 years old, with a record of theft and violence, and apparently not related to Amedy, pulled a knife about 8 inches long out of a bag, injuring one soldier in the chin, one in the cheek, and one in the forearm. Coincidentally, I left Nice about four hours before this attack and had passed by that Jewish center a few days earlier, in the course of a tour of Muslim-majority areas in ten cities across France and Belgium. (Annie Waldman) - Last week, the Supreme Court put three executions in Oklahoma on hold as it reviews the constitutionality of the state's death penalty protocol...The court is assessing Oklahoma's use of the drug midazolam, a sedative used in its three-drug lethal injection protocol. According to the Death Penalty Information Center, five states have used midazolam for their executions, and at least five other states have proposed using it. In the wake of several botched executions in 2014 involving the drug, a group of death row inmates in Oklahoma filed a petition challenging the efficacy of midazolam to mitigate pain, which they claim would render the state's executions in violation of the Eighth Amendment's protection against "cruel and unusual" punishment. ‘American Sniper’

     (peggynoonan.com) - I saw “American Sniper” last night. It is not a great movie but it is a powerful one. It had the power to leave a packed Manhattan movie house silent—really, completely silent—as they stared at the closing credits and tried to absorb the meaning of what they’d seen. They filed out silently, too. It’s not so hard to leave an audience in a good mood or hungry for dinner, but this silence spoke of a real thoughtfulness. It was a mixed crowd, young and old.

     In the movie the sniper, Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, exists for one reason: to stop or kill belligerents who are in the act of attempting to take out American soldiers. If they are attempting to aim an armed rocket-propelled grenade, or they are themselves snipers or al Qaeda fighters, they are in his crosshairs. The American sniper does not shoot those who are not immediately aiming to harm someone. He uses discernment. If he doesn’t he’ll be in legal and military trouble. When he trains his weapon on a mother and son he does not want to shoot. When he sees the grenade the mother passes to her son as they advance toward a U.S. convoy, he shoots. When an Iraqi sniper kills one of his friends he sets himself to finding him and taking him out.

     Kyle completely believes, and the viewer is persuaded, that his duty is protecting people, saving the lives of his troops. That’s his daily job and he does it with discipline, talent and professionalism. He’s so good at it he comes to be seen as and called a legend. He is celebrated for his kills; he’d rather someone kept a count of his saves. When after his last tour he sees a Navy psychiatrist who asks him about things he wishes he hadn’t done, he says, “Oh, that’s not me. No.”

     “What’s not you?” the doctor asks, with the bland yet piercing look psychiatrists get in movies.

     “I was just protecting my guys, they were trying to kill . . . our soldiers and I . . . I’m willing to meet my Creator and answer for every shot that I took.” He adds, “The thing that . . . haunts me are all the guys that I couldn’t save.” That is both the story he told himself and the story he thinks is true.

     The movie seems to have pinged off something in the American psyche, with its huge box-office opening. (All hail Clint Eastwood, running the tables at age 84.) Some of the reasons would be obvious. It is based on a bestselling book, the essential facts of which are generally known. We are increasingly a nation of veterans. It is an action story, a war story, with Eastwood directing and Bradley Cooper as the star. But it is also a story about love of country, and what some of those who love it most sacrifice to show that love. Kyle, the movie makes clear, joined up to defend America after al Qaeda began making its moves. When he was a boy his father taught him not to be a sheep or a wolf but a sheepdog—a protector of others. The movie is a meditation on this. It is interesting that Americans want such a meditation.

     On the Iraq war it takes no stand. While the film glorifies war—all battlefield heroics, by being admirable, glorify war—there is a persistent antiwar presence, and not only because depicting the damage and dislocation done to those visited by war is an antiwar statement. Chris Kyle’s brother, on leaving Iraq after his own tour, makes a statement suggestion the U.S. is in the wrong place. A heartbroken mother at a stateside funeral seems to cry out for peace. Kyle’s close friend shares his doubts. Kyle doesn’t share them but he hears them, and Eastwood lets them echo out. This is a fair-minded movie. It is not anyone’s propaganda.

     It is not a great movie because it is formulaic. We see the scenes we’ve always seen. Boot camp is hell, Kyle and his wife meet cute in a bar near the base, etc. It is all done in a solid and serviceable way but often looks like the latest iteration of what’s been done before. It is being compared, favorably, to 2008’s “The Hurt Locker,” but that movie was a higher form of art, full of surprise and edgier, more confounding. It’s one thing to show Bradley Cooper clenching his jaw at a child’s backyard birthday party, but it was more powerful when Jeremy Renner mindlessly pushes a huge shopping cart through a huge food store with a thousand breakfast cereals and that’s his job now, two days out of Iraq, to choose the right cereal.

     Here is one unanticipated cost of how we wage modern war. We ask a lot of our troops emotionally in terms of how we schedule their tours. If during World War II we had our soldiers serve nine or 10 months invading Europe, witnessing carnage and taking part in bloody battles . . . and then had them return for two or three months to banal, Benny Goodman-playing America . . . then sent them back to the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of the death camps . . . then back home for a few months—well, that would be asking rather a lot for U.S. troops to emotionally sustain and absorb. The modern, relatively short tour punctuated by home leave is meant to be compassionate and is wholly understandable as policy: Soldiers have families, including children who desperately need them. But you can’t expect people to go from horror—constant alert, fear, adrenaline, life-and-death choices—to common peace and ordinariness, and expect them to immediately act the part of the “normal person.” My father was a U.S. army private in Italy late in World War II, and the one thing he talked about was the long ship ride home when the war ended, with thousands of other GIs—decompressing with other guys in cots, reading, smoking, yakking, getting themselves ready for America again. They had time to acclimate. Now it’s defuse the bomb in Bagdad on Monday and go to the Lobster Shack in central Jersey on Wednesday. That is asking a lot, and we ask it over and over.

     Connected to that, a problem with the film so egregious it must be noted. The part of the one central woman, the wife, is so poorly done. She is a pretty young woman who means nothing, who is neither impressive as a character nor poignant nor wholly fleshed out, and every time you see her she is whining at her husband and crying because he is here but not here, he is damaged, he’s got to get with it and be a better father. She weeps, she complains. The role is so poorly written, or directed, or edited, or conceived. The actress seems to have done her best with what she was given. It doesn’t seem to occur to the filmmakers that while the Chris Kyle character does not understand how spooked and detached from family life he has become, she never understands he’s been living inside a violent video game for nine months, only it wasn’t a game, and the things he saw would have changed him, changed anyone, forever.

     And yes, everyone noticed the artificial baby, and it was a silly way to save money and eliminate takes, if that was the purpose. You can always hire someone who acts like an infant. Next time try Seth Rogen.

President Obama continues to deny radical Islam as ‘Terrorists’.  Obama and his administration refer to these ‘murderers’ who are killing Americans as ‘armed insurgencies’.  Obama presents no leadership or plans in winning a worldwide war against radical Islam. 

Radical Islamic ‘Terrorists’ are ‘barbaric killers’ who get their money from captured oil well properties.  Some ‘Terrorists’ may be receiving US taxpayers’ Dollars from Obama’s administration; directed for so-called humanitarian needs. 

President Obama lacks the ability in leading America as Commander-In-Chief.

Make them bake cake! That’s the verdict of an administrative judge in the case of Oregon bakers Aaron and Melissa Klein. The couple, who became the brave face of America’s religious liberty clash, were informed yesterday by the state’s Bureau of Labor and Industries that in the battle over marriage, their First Amendment rights no longer counted.

In the first of what will almost certainly be several rulings, the Kleins were found guilty of violating state law for politely declining an order for a same-sex “wedding” cake. As part of his 52-page order, Judge Alan McCullough claims that “requiring them to provide a wedding cake for Complainants does not constitute compelled speech.” Aaron Klein disagrees. “First Amendment, Constitution. Freedom of religion. I’m free to exercise my religion however I see fit. If I’m told to make a wedding cake for a same-sex marriage, I feel that I’m violating my beliefs. I don’t think I should have to do that.”


Unfortunately for the parents of five, wedding vendors like them may soon have no choice. In the free market, the courts no longer seem to recognize the right to believe what you want. Owners of small businesses like Sweet Cakes by Melissa, Arlene’s Flowers, Simply Elegant Wedding Planning, Hands On Originals, and others are seen as nothing more than tools of the government to think and believe as the state sees fit. If they refuse, as Aaron and Melissa have done, Oregon is threatening to bring the full weight of the government to bear.

A hearing on March 10 will decide exactly how much the Kleins’ courage will cost them. As much as $200,000 could be at stake for a family who’s already been forced to close their shop and scrape together the money they need to make up for that lost income. Anna Harmon, one of the Kleins’ three attorneys, said that although the judge tossed out every claim but one, it’s still a tough loss. “Americans should not have to choose between adhering to their faith or closing their business, but that is what this decision means… The judge ruled wrongly that the Kleins’ right not to design and create a work of art celebrating an event which violates the tenets of their religion is not protected by the Oregon or Federal Constitutions.      (factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - Over the course of its history the Supreme Court has made some very bad decisions and the decision to declare abortion legal ranks high among them. On January 22, 1973, in Roe v. Wade the Court interpreted the due process clause of the 14th Amendment to extend a right of privacy to a woman’s decision to have an abortion prior to the third trimester of pregnancy.
 
     There have been 57.5 million abortions since 1973—42 years—when the decision became the law of the land. In all the wars America has fought, going back to the Revolution, the total of those killed in combat as of September 2014 was 1,343,812.
 
     The casualties of the Supreme Court’s decision about unborn Americans reveal the wide gap between the morality, as opposed to the legality, of the Court’s decision.

     Now the Court has taken on cases that will determine the legality of same-sex marriage and here again the morality of sanctioning this definition of marriage is a world apart from the morality of marriage occurring exclusively between a man and woman as has been the norm since the earliest history of mankind.

     Marriage has always been understood as the critical cornerstone of a healthy functioning society. It has always been understood that children raised by a mother and father are a benefit to society while those deprived of this union are frequently subject to problems of one sort or another.

     In the United States, however, many of the traditional morals that served the interest of society have been abandoned since around the middle of the last century. The gap between liberals and conservatives has widened.

     One result was recently announced in a Pew Research Center study that found that less than half of all American children now live in a two-parent household with two married heterosexual parents who are, in fact, their own parents.

     The Daily Caller reported that “In addition, fully 41% of all American babies are currently born out of wedlock. By way of comparison, in 1960 73% of all American children” lived in a traditional married household.
     An earlier Pew Research Center study, announced in August 2013, depicted mothers as the main provider in 40% of American households with children. Jennifer Marshall, Director of the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at the Heritage Foundation, noted that 25% of “households with children under 18 are supported by a single mother.” Their median income was $23,000 and 44% are never-married moms. “More than a third of these single mothers aren’t working at all—meaning they are much more likely to depend on government welfare.”
     What all these statistics add up to is a nation in which traditional marriage is under attack while living together unmarried or having children as a single mother have become accepted at an alternative lifestyle.

     Now we are being told that America should abandon the concept of legal citizenship and accord it to anyone who crosses the border. This isn’t how an orderly society or sovereign state is defined. It is a definition of anarchy.

     As the Supreme Court gets ready to hear the same-sex marriage case, the rest of us are wondering why a tiny minority of society should be granted a right that no society in history has ever imparted.

     How small is it? In September 2014 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report that men who have sex with men (gay and bisexual) comprise about 2% of the U.S. population. When you add in lesbians the number moves up to about 3%.

     The CDC tracks such things because “In 2010, among persons newly infected with HIV, 63% were men have sex with men (MSM) and among persons living with HIV, 52% were MSM.” According to the CDC it is contracted primarily through anal sex. Despite federal spending to combat AIDS, between 2008 and 2010 “new infections increased 22% among young (aged 13-24) gay and bisexual men and 13% among gay and bisexual men overall” regardless of age.

     So the nation has been experiencing a holocaust of murdered fetuses thanks to the Supreme Court’s ruling and now we are supposed to abandon the ancient definition of marriage to accommodate a tiny minority of those who engage in sex with the same gender. If justification for that can be found in the Constitution, then it can be interpreted in any manner to degrade our society and the nation.

     Same-sex marriage is an issue that President Obama said was “America at its best” in his State of the Union speech. Seven years earlier, campaigning to become President, he said that marriage was “a sacred union” and was “between a man and a woman.”

     I don’t care that a number of states have already extended a legal status to same-sex marriage. I don’t care that it applies to a very small number of Americans. They can have “civil unions” that resolve any legal issues, but “marriage”? No.

     Just as I say no to those who want to strip the practice of religion from any public ceremony or remove the saying of prayer in our schools, I will say no to those who want to remove the moral pillars that have served our society and all societies over the millennia.

     We can only hope that enough of the current Supreme Court justices feel that way too.

Telling the Truth About Muhammad to the PC Crowd

Muslims are not what is wrong with Islam. This is what has been nearly impossible to communicate to most Liberals today.  The problem with Islam is the Prophet Muhammad.  According to Islamic scripture, in other words, what mainstream Muslims are taught to believe, the Prophet Muhammad was a slave owner, a rapist, committed mass murder, hated Jews with a passion, wanted homosexuals punished, killed his critics, stripped women of all rights and had sex with a nine year old girl, whom he married when she was six, named Aisha.

If the Prophet Muhammad was a Republican Senator from Kentucky, Liberals would oppose him vehemently. But as I have stated before, within the Liberal mind there seems to be a perceptive disability. When I say “Islam” they hear “Muslim”. Such is the nature of the Collectivist mind.

But Muslims are a symptom and not the source of the problem.  The problem is the Prophet Muhammad. If he were alive today, Amnesty International would certainly have a problem with his followers obeying his laws, which demand that certain people have their limbs amputated and their nose cut off. The Democrats would have him in their crosshairs as being at the forefront on the “war against women”. The New York Times would certainly seek to expose him and any whistle blower in his ranks would be celebrated as the next Julian Assange.  

The Huffington Post and Daily Kos would be collecting signatures, to demand that our government do something to stop him. Media Matters would be reprinting all of the outrageous things he said, such as “I have become victorious through terror”.

Michael Moore would probably follow the Prophet around, trying to trick him into a “gotcha” question, then win an Academy Award for his latest documentary, “Muhammad and Me”. The poster would feature Michael Moore gloating in his baseball cap, next to a cut out of the Prophet – and then of course he would be executed, because of the depiction of the Prophet.

Gloria Allred would be representing all of the women whom the Prophet Muhammad took as sex slaves. Every major women’s rights group in America would send out mailers, asking for donations to stop the Prophet Muhammad from instructing his followers to rape his enemies, as an act of war.  Rachel Maddow would have a field day, every day, with this story – and rightfully so. Organizations for the rights of women would have an issue with the Prophet Muhammad, were he alive today.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper would profile the Prophet Muhammad in his “Keeping Them Honest” segment of his highly rated show, because of all the contradictions in Muhammad’s best seller, the Holy Quran (look up “Abrogation”).

would be held in Guantanamo Bay for aiding an enemy of the United States, since he is a follower of the Prophet and Muhammad says that no government is legitimate, unless it follows the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. And he would be likely be sharing a bunk with Representative Keith Ellison.

The ADL would have an issue with the Prophet Muhammad stating that Jews are all apes and pigs (see Suras 2:65, 5:60, and 7:166), rather than trying to protect the rights of Islam’s female followers to wear black sheets over their bodies, as the Prophet’s laws command. If someone were alive today, calling Jews apes and pigs, while having 1.6 billion followers, the ADL would have something to say about it.

The Daily Show would have more fun mocking the Prophet than taking pot shots at Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.  Bill Maher and Sean Hannity would ironically be sharing a Nobel Peace Prize for their brave and pioneering work, in exposing the war crimes of the Prophet Muhammad. 
No one would be drawing parallels between the persecuted yet devout followers of Muhammad and the Holocaust, if the Prophet Muhammad were conducting his mass genocide of infidels today (see Quran 9:5).

Gay rights groups would be a little concerned about the Mormon Church, but totally freaked out about anyone who follows the laws of the Prophet, known as the Sharia, because Sharia Law calls for homosexuals to be severely punished.  Every cult awareness website and organization out there would put out an alert, since the penalty for leaving the Prophet’s religion is death.

After the Prophet Muhammad beheaded an entire tribe of Jews, possibly no one would have a problem with waterboarding anyone who knew where to find him.  The Prophet Muhammad had several wives, but the one named Safiyya became his wife after he tortured and killed her father, her brothers, the men in her tribe, told his fighters to take the women of that tribe as sex slaves and then raped Safia that night. Anyone who had a problem with that, which would be anyone in their right mind, would not be called a “bigot”.

Given that the Prophet Muhammad advocated slavery and owned slaves, it would be unlikely that any African Americans would follow him.  Louis Farrakhan’s speeches would end up on a blooper reel, right next to Malcom X and of course the champion of human rights, Ben Affleck.

The young multibillionaire owner of the world’s largest social network would not be able to quietly obey the blasphemy laws of the Prophet Muhammad, were he alive today.
  But the Prophet is said to have been told about his impending death by the Angel Gabriel. He was said to have been given a choice between being a great king on Earth and going to meet Allah. Apparently he chose not to remain immortal. However, if we compare the body counts of Pol Pot, Hitler and Chairman Mao against the 270 million people killed in the name of the Prophet Muhammad, I guess you can say he has become immortal after all.

Anyway, that young multibillionaire is named Mark Zuckerberg and his social network is called Facebook. At the time this article was written, there are an estimated 1.2 billion Facebook members and the average time a member spends on Facebook is 55 minutes a day. So, whatever policy Facebook decides to adopt is kind of a big deal – in some ways it has more of an impact than what the United Nations decides.

Currently the United Nations has approximately 57 nations which make up what is called the OIC, or the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.  The OIC is trying to make it an international law that criticizing the Prophet Muhammad become illegal. Vice President of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, here in the United States, Syrian immigrant Abdou Kattih, said he supports such a law.  But the OIC are lightweights compared to the power of Facebook. There is an argument to be made that the world went inside the internet and became the world.

Today as I write this, there have been about 25,000 acts of terrorism committed, just since 9/11 alone, in the name of the Prophet Muhammad.  That is several per day – approximately 2 million people actually.  But you can’t say that on Facebook. A new Facebook educational page went up this morning, called “Exposing the Prophet Muhammad” and was taken down, hours later, as it violates Facebook’s policy concerning anything that offends the followers of the Prophet Muhammad.
What did that Facebook page post that was so offensive?  It posted a video that referenced all of the Islamic scripture that tells the story of how Muhammad took Aisha as his wife when she was six years old and consummated their marriage when she was nine.  Oh, and it referenced the Islamic law that states that anyone drawing a picture of the Prophet be killed.
 
What does this mean for you and me?  It means that in the Information Age, the most powerful force on the internet has agreed to follow the blasphemy laws of the Prophet Muhammad.  Islamic Law is also called “Sharia”.  Do you still think the Sharia scare is some crazy Right Wing conspiracy theory?

 LOUSY LINGO TRAPS WHITE HOUSE ON ISLAMISTS 
The White House has been doing a tremendous job of kicking its own backside on foreign policy of late. The latest and best example came as the president’s press secretary sought to
explain how the Taliban can be on a government list of terrorist groups but not be terrorists. The reason for the semantic gymnastics is that President nObama would not like to be the one who gets credit for establishing the new standard that the U.S. negotiates with terrorists, as his administration did in swapping five high-ranking Taliban prisoners of war for an American soldier. And since a determination of the desertion charges against the soldier in the trade is expected soon, the administration is feeling extra pressure. Five terrorist for one deserter would not exactly sound like the deal of the century. Five “armed insurgents” for one prisoner of war, on the other hand, sounds like at least a slight improvement.  -Fox News

The Hill: “Members of the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday passed a bill that would impose sanctions on Iran if a comprehensive agreement to roll back its nuclear program is not reached by June 30. The bill, co-authored by Sens. Mark Kirk [R-Ill.] and Robert Menendez [D-N.J.], passed in the committee by an 18-4 vote. All 12 Republicans on the committee voted for the bill, as did six Democrats…The bill, which is softer than one proposed last year by Kirk and Menendez, would allow the president to waive sanctions indefinitely for 30 days at a time.”

The U.S. Customs and Immigration Service [USCIS] said on Thursday the applications for the program to defer deportation and obtain a 3-year legal status would be available to undocumented immigrants who entered the country as children before 2010. They will be the first group of immigrants who will benefit from nObama's sweeping immigration reform announced on Nov. 20. The plan will let up to 4.7 million of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States stay without threat of deportation, including about 4.4 million who are parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.”

 Egypt Labels Hamas' Military Wing Terrorists  
(John Rossomando) - An Egyptian court has labeled the Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, a terrorist organization. "The court ruled to ban the Qassam Brigades and to list it as a terrorist group," Judge Mohamed al-Sayid said Saturday in an interview with Reuters...The decision came as a result of a suit brought by Egyptian attorney Samir Sabri that accused the Qassam Brigades of financing and participating in attacks in Egypt against police, military and other targets. Hamas has diverged from its goal of fighting Israel and now aims to undermine Egypt's internal security, according to the Egyptian court. The court's decision centered on the Qassam Brigades' alleged involvement in a series of terrorist attacks, including one in October that killed 31 Egyptian soldiers. A Republic of Disrespect

     (peggynoonan.com) - It’s odd in Washington now. There’s a lot of claiming of authority and no taking of responsibility.

     The president gave his State of the Union address, and of course the TV ratings were bad—Nielsen put viewership at 31.7 million, the lowest since Bill Clinton ’s last State of the Union, in 2000, when America had 38 million fewer people. Although the low ratings are generally attributed to President nObama’s no longer being new and a symbol of hope, there’s more to it, such as a lack of credibility.

     Mr. nObama sturdily declared that pages have been turned and crises surmounted. He has become a better actor in his presidency, with better command of and engagement with his material, but the material reflected nothing new in terms of his essential attitudes. He quickly glossed over the Islamic State: “In Iraq and Syria, American leadership—including our military power—is stopping ISIL’s advance.” I liked the “including our military power,” but: Really? Few on the ground see anything but an Islamic State on the move. Literally as the president spoke, Yemen’s government was falling to Iranian-backed groups whose takeover is assumed to be good news for an al Qaeda branch poised to fill the void. The president’s habit of detaching from what is actually happening—of declaring in fact that the opposite is happening—is a marvel to behold. History will speak of it.

     After forgetting to be gracious to the victors of the 2014 election, or even to note there’d been a significant election, he referred to his relations with Congress. “Imagine if we broke out of these tired old patterns. Imagine if we did something different,” he said. “A better politics isn’t one where Democrats abandon their agenda or Republicans simply embrace mine.” It is instead one “where we appeal to each other’s basic decency instead of our basest fears.” Well, OK, but before this sweet hectoring he had sternly threatened to veto Republican-backed legislation. ( CBS News ’s Mark Knoller counts nine veto threats since the new Congress was sworn in Jan. 6.) Somehow Mr. nObama’s olive branch always looks like a blunt instrument. He has spent the past six years blaming Republicans when he wasn’t ignoring or dissing them, and despite some nice touches in the speech, his essential disrespect for his political adversaries shone through.

He hates them. They hate him back.

     On the Republican side we see disrespect toward the president—and, more consequentially, toward the presidency—in the decision of GOP Hill leaders to invite, without conferring with the White House or the State Department, a foreign head of government, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to address a joint session of Congress next month.

     On hearing of this I got the same sinking feeling I did last week when Mr. nObama met with British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House and, during their joint news conference, Mr. Cameron acknowledged to reporters that he’d personally lobbied U.S. senators to back Mr. nObama on Iran sanctions. Should a foreign leader be on the phone jawboning with members of the American Congress about what they should or should not do? Um, no. It’s a breaching of diplomatic form and tradition. You go run your country, we’ll run ours, and then, because we’re friends and allies and love each other, we’ll meet and talk and see if we can’t get into agreement.

     But the Netanyahu invitation seems to me worse. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports the idea was “cooked up” behind the back of the American president, that the White House, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Israel “were totally excluded from these contacts,” that they had been neither consulted nor informed before the invitation was issued by the Republican leadership. (Haaretz also noted that Mr. Netanyahu faces an election in two months.)

     Mr. Netanyahu is welcome to visit and speak to Americans anytime he wants, but Congress’s invitation, like Mr. Cameron’s lobbying, is a violation of diplomatic form, tradition and expectation. The United States has an elected president who serves a four-year term, and in that time he gets to conduct the nation’s formal diplomatic efforts and policy and to oversee its foreign-affairs apparatus and agencies.

     Does Mr. nObama deserve to be embarrassed in this way? Of course he does! In his long years in the presidency he has demonstrated no regard for the Republicans of Congress, and now they are showing no regard for him.

     But it is still a bad move, a damaging snub that makes divisions more dramatic, and not only between Congress and the president. Mr. nObama is forced to decide whether to invite Mr. Netanyahu to visit the White House while he is in Washington. The White House announced it will not, pointedly attributing the decision to “the proximity to the Israeli election.” This too is a snub, and it is hard to see how it does anything to fortify U.S.-Israeli relations.

Worst of all is the costly precedent the invitation risks setting.

     When the Democratic Party wins a majority in Congress, and someday it will, it can do the same thing to a Republican president—bring over for a great joint session address, at a dramatic moment, a foreign leader with whom that president is in opposition or deep tension.

     Congress has the authority to do what it’s doing, but is it the responsible thing? Congress and the White House are supposed to work together on foreign affairs, as a matter not only of politesse but practicality. If this scenario becomes the norm—an angry Congress embarrassing or putting in a poor position a sitting American president—it would make

     I close with an admittedly odd jump, but it’s about something I couldn’t get out of my mind when I thought of the conspicuously odd moments in Washington this week.

     At a congressional hearing on Wednesday, someone decided it would be amusing or helpful to unleash a small drone. The House Committee on Science, Space and Technology was meeting and suddenly the drone was flying around the front of the wood-paneled room, released by a young marketing executive from a company called 3D Robotics. The committee’s chairman seemed startled on the C-Span recording, though it appeared he gave permission for the display.

     The drone was a flat, plastic thing with an evil little buzz. What I thought as I watched was: It would be nice if Washington would do one big thing in the next few weeks—see to it that since everyone now has recreational or commercial drones, we can come up with a way to control their use in and around airports. Actually, what I thought was: Someday one of them will fly one into the engine of a 757 like a gaggle of New York airport geese, and we’ll all hope Sully Sullenberger is at the controls.

They could do that if they were willing to take responsibility.

‘Whatever Ideology’?

Barack Obama refuses to acknowledge that basic tenets of Islam are the ideological foundation of the Islamic State and its army of terrorists. That ideology is metastasizing throughout the Middle East. Obama’s premature withdrawal of our forces from Iraq prior to his 2012 re-election – so he could claim “I ended the war” – left a vacuum filled by ISIL, which has now largely negated all the blood and treasure we expended to establish democracy in Iraq. Yesterday, asKing Abdullah II of Jordan, one or our most dependable allies in the region, met with Obama, ISIL released a professionally edited video of caged Jordanian pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, being burned alive. According to Obama, “It’s just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization. … It also indicates the degree to which whatever ideology they are operating off of, it’s bankrupt.” Memo to Obama: The “organization” has a name – it’s “The Islamic State,” and the “ideology they’re operating off of” is radical Islam. And the most prized target in their sites would be Americans – on American soil.

Senate Has Opportunity in Ashton Carter Hearing

Those worried about the White House’s farce of a foreign policy may find some solace in Barack Obama’s nominee for secretary of defense, Ashton Carter. In written testimony to Congress ahead of his nomination hearing today, Carter said he would question Obama’s party line in situations like the drawdown from Afghanistan and the relationship with Iran. While the administration courts the state sponsor of terrorism, Carter wrote to Congress, “Countering Iranian destabilizing activities must be an important priority. Regardless of the outcome of nuclear negotiations, I firmly believe that the United States must also counter these destabilizing regional activities, including Iran’s support to terrorists and militant groups.” Instead of simply using today’s hearing to vent frustration over Obama’s failed foreign policy, senators should use this time to establish a working relationship with Carter. As national security expert Brian Slattery writes at The Daily Signal, senators need to know Carter’s priorities and if he’s willing to work with the current, sequestered budget.

Obama Hits ‘Mindless’ Sequester Again

Speaking about his 2016 budget proposal, Barack Obama offered an olive branch – with which he whacked Republicans. “I want to work with Congress to replace mindless austerity with smart investments,” he said, adding, “We can do so in a way that is fiscally responsible.” He continued along this line: “I’m not going to accept a budget that locks in sequestration going forward. It would be bad for our security and bad for our growth. … Part of the reason why we grew faster last year was [that] we were no longer being burdened by mindless across-the-board cuts.” First, the sequester was Obama’s idea. He used it to gain the upper hand against Republicans in 2011 budget negotiations. Second, when Congress passed it, he’s the one who made it “mindless” in its implementation – everything from scrapping White House tours to making painful military cuts. Rather than cut waste, he cut visible and popular things to make a political point. Finally, as for working with Congress, well, we know how he views that chore going into the fourth quarter of his presidency – it ain’t going to happen.

Since 2009, Obama Gave Away 5.5M Work Permits

For years, the Obama administration has skirted immigration laws, giving out hundreds of thousands of work permits to people who came into this nation with either no visa, or merely student or tourist visas. Since 2009, the Obama administration has handed out 5.46 million work permits, with 532,000 given to people with student visas, 470,000 on tourist visas and 156,000 for dependents of students or guest workers. Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, writes, “This should be a concern; work permits are gateway documents to driver’s licenses and other benefits, and if the government agency issuing them does not know or will not disclose how the bearer arrived in the country how can others rely on the authenticity of an individual’s identity? It is equally disconcerting if the government does know and chooses not to disclose it.” Obama didn’t wake up sometime last year and think: Gee, it would be fun to completely ignore the separation of powers and do some crazy stuff with immigration. Democrats Taunt GOP Over Immigration Response

The Democrat minority in the Senate was just enough to stall a GOP bill undoing Barack Obama’s unconstitutional executive action on immigration. All 46 Democrats and two Republicans voted against the bill funding the Department of Homeland Security Tuesday. The last session of Congress passed a temporary measure to fund DHS until February, when the new, GOP-led Congress could confront Obama on his immigration actions. But now, the Democrats are reveling in the power they have to jam the legislative process. And Obama still continues to flaunt his executive actions. On Wednesday, he hosted six youths who are in this country due to his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. A White House official told The HillObama did this to “reiterate that his executive actions are lawful.” Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid cackled, “We all know this is going to end with a bill funding Homeland Security that goes to the president. We’ll wind up passing a clean bill so why do we wait, why do we agonize?” The lines are drawn on the congressional floor. In the coming weeks, we’ll see if Republicans have the grit to fight a lawless executive branch.

Politicizing Vaccination

Republicans hate women, children, puppies, rainbows and especially Science™. If you didn’t believe that, witness the latest kerfuffle over vaccines. Once the province of doctors' offices and parenting blogs, vaccines have come front and center in the political arena over the last few days, and the Leftmedia are using it to bash the GOP.

Two likely 2016 presidential contenders, Chris Christie and Rand Paul, answered questions about vaccines in the wake of the recent outbreak of measles at Disneyland. They both might have been better off with a “no comment” than to wade into such a “gotcha” issue for a Leftmedia hungry to discredit anti-Science™ Republicans.

Though Christie extolled the benefits of vaccination, he said there must be “some measure of choice” in the matter. Paul argued that most vaccines should be voluntary: “The state doesn’t own your children. Parents own the children. And it is an issue of freedom and public health.” That thought came after he relayed scary but discredited anecdotes involving “many tragic cases of walking, talking, normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines.”

The Republicans' comments followed Barack Obama’s pontification on the issue: “You should get your kids vaccinated. The science is, you know, pretty indisputable. We’ve looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren’t reasons to not.”

That’s a shade different from Obama’s stance in 2008, however, when he said, “We’ve seen just a skyrocketing autism rate. Some people are suspicious that it’s connected to the vaccines. … The science is right now inconclusive, but we have to research it.” Perhaps he settled the science during his first term.

Likewise in 2008, Hillary Clinton and John McCain pointed to vaccines as a possible cause of autism. McCain said there was “strong evidence” of a connection, and Clinton promised to “make investments to find the causes of autism, including possible environmental causes like vaccines.”

As for “investments,” Obama’s latest budget cuts $50 million from a vaccine program for the underinsured. That’s inconvenient.

So now that we’ve established a bipartisan problem, we’ll make a few observations.

Science is rarely “settled” – that’s the point of scientific inquiry. As we often note, climate change is likely happening, but the science is not at all clear on its cause or extent or what we can do about it. Whether eating eggs or too much salt is bad for you has been the subject of years of rigorous debate. Vaccines were created thanks to research and study – and there’s no reason to end such work, or to deny that we don’t know everything.

That said, fears about vaccine risks are often overblown. The Wall Street Journal reports, “The claims about vaccine risks go back to a 1998 article in The Lancet in which British doctor Andrew Wakefield claimed to have found a link between the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine and autism. But the real menace was Mr. Wakefield, whose findings were proven to be fraudulent and who was on the payroll of the plaintiffs bar. The Lancet retracted the article in 2010, and Mr. Wakefield lost his medical license.”

And it’s indisputable that vaccines have been remarkably effective in virtually eradicating communicable diseases that once claimed numerous lives. Measles was declared eliminated in 2000, but international travelers brought it here again, where it spread at Disneyland among the unvaccinated.

Let’s be clear that some children cannot receive vaccinations due to illnesses such as leukemia, and there are indeed perfectly legitimate reasons to forgo vaccinations or to space them out. Parents should research the issue and be as knowledgeable as possible. That includes finding a trustworthy doctor.

Those who opt out of vaccines benefit from what’s known as herd immunity. In other words, as long as about 90% of people are vaccinated, the “more-enlightened” few may choose to avoid doing so and suffer little consequence. But there is a mathematical limit to this gamble, and it’s often upper-class liberals who are rolling the dice.

Wealthy schools in Los Angeles now feature vaccination rates as low as South Sudan. As a result, there’s a resurgence of measles and whooping cough. The California counties surrounding San Francisco (which went for Obama by 84% in 2012) also have especially low vaccination rates.

But remember, it’s Republicans who are anti-Science™.

Some on the Right do oppose government mandates for vaccinations, but the vast majority of conservatives still vaccinate. And most of the time it’s not actually an issue of personal liberty; it’s one of public health and individual responsibility. As 19th century physician Oliver Wendell Holmes put it, “The right to swing my fist ends where the other man’s nose begins.” The choice to refuse vaccination – when rooted in vain conceit rather than medical reality – endangers others.

Vaccinations are a very good idea, and, because many people lack common sense, the use of state power through carrots and sticks is not excessive. It was Thomas Jefferson writing in theDeclaration of Independence who said, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men.”

Finally, the issue for both sides of the political aisle boils down to trust in government. Whether it’s global warming, NSA surveillance, IRS audits, ObamaCare or vaccinations, many Americans just don’t think government officials are playing it straight or telling the truth. Most of the time, this distrust is founded in legitimately bad experience. ObamaCare in particular can be blamed for the rising mistrust in medicine.

Unless and until that trust is restored, a growing number of people will eschew good health choices, and, as a result, we may be looking toward a future full of diseases we only thought we had beaten.

Perry’s Claim to Fame Is Simple: Jobs

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is considering another run for the White House in 2016, and his platform is strong in the primary concern of voters. As political strategist James Carville so memorably put it during Bill Clinton’s first campaign, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

In his State of the Union, Barack Obama crowed about the jobs he created since 2010: “America has put more people back to work than Europe, Japan and all advanced economies combined. Our manufacturers have added almost 800,000 new jobs.”

But Obama didn’t give credit where it’s due. Since the start of the Great Recession in 2007, the 1.169 million increase in jobs nationwide up to December 2014 can be attributed entirely to theroaring Texas economy. The other 49 states and Washington, DC, altogether have lost about 275,000 jobs. Texas enjoyed its 51st consecutive month of growth in December, adding more that 2,000 jobs every business day. And while the nationwide headline unemployment rate stands at 5.6%, the rate in Texas dropped to 4.6%. Pretty impressive numbers for a candidate’s résumé.

Of course, Texas owes much of its boom to fracking on privately owned land. Fracking has sparked a recovery in other industries, including construction. From January to November, more building permits for single-family houses were issued in Houston alone than in all of California in the same period.

Unfortunately, some of Texas' job growth came because of crony capitalism – sweetheart tax deals and so forth. That shouldn’t play well with free-market conservatives, but the average voter probably won’t care much about that angle when Perry can say, “Yeah, but Texas under my leadership is responsible for virtually all the job growth in the nation.”

One issue that will tickle conservative heart strings is that leftists are labeling Perry a “tenther.” Like the supposedly pejorative “denier,” the Left now labels anyone who believes in the Tenth Amendment a “tenther.” We’re mighty proud to be in that club.

Interviewed by Heartland magazine, Perry said that he wants to be a strong Tenth Amendment leader, working with other governors who share his passion: “We need to get back to 50 states competing against other … to become a powerful country, a powerful economy again.” He continued, “We need to … make the states … into laboratories of innovation [again to] put America back on the road to recovery.”

A push to restore the federalism our Founders established is long overdue and we hope the next president and governors have the wisdom to restore the Tenth Amendment as we have the Second.

Meanwhile, should Perry emerge as a viable candidate, the Left will simply lie to destroy him. Lies, character assassination, mudslinging. The Left’s stock in trade.

Indeed, this is why he had a run-in last year with Travis County Democrat District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg after she was arrested for drunk driving with three times the legal limit of blood alcohol. During her arrest and booking, she behaved like a bratty eighth grader. Sentenced to 45 days, she served half. Because she heads the Public Integrity Unit of the DA’s office, Perry asked her to resign. Like any good disgraced Democrat, she refused, causing Perry to cut funding to her office until she was replaced.

Smelling blood in the water, special prosecutor Michael McCrum took the matter to a grand jury and got an indictment for two class A misdemeanors: abuse of official capacity and coercion of a public servant. Got that? Perry allegedly “abused” Lehmberg by demanding her resignation. And he “abused” the power of the veto. That’s rich.

The Leftmedia lost no time headlining: GOVERNOR INDICTED. Unfortunately, the case will drag on for months, keeping Perry’s “sullied” name in the news. He could lose campaign contributors, as ridiculous as that might seem, but Democrats have been at this game for decades, and they know their stuff. Let’s hope the voters show more sense than the media hounds.

In terms of campaigning, two things will work to Perry’s advantage this time: He’s no longer governor and can focus all his energy on the campaign, and he’s not coming off back surgery, which many think put him off his game in 2012. And, again, that job-creation résumé is going to play well in a nation sloughing along under Obamanomics.

Jordan’s King Abdullah executed two al-Qaeda prisoners before dawn today, following through on his promised retaliation for the ISIS barbaric slaughter by burning of Jordanian pilot Moath al-Kasasbeh.

CNN  Put to death were Sajida al-Rishawi, the Iraqi would-be suicide bomber whose release ISIS had previously requested, and Ziad Karbouli, a former top aide to the deceased leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The executions came a day after video and stills showing a Jordanian military pilot being burned alive while confined in a cage, were released.

“Those who doubted the atrocities committed by ISIS now have the proof,” Jordanian government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said on state TV. In Amman and in the pilot’s hometown, crowds hit the streets, calling for revenge. “The propaganda factor, I think, is going to completely backfire on them and the reason I say that is: When was the last time you had a mob in the street of one of these Muslim countries that was not screaming ‘death to America,’ but in fact screaming, ‘death to ISIS?
