ISSA-WARNING.jpg
Darrell Issa, Chairman of House Committee
On Oversight And Government Reform

Vanguard of Freedom News reported yesterday on Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman, Darrel Issa's admonition of Kathleen Sebelius, Health and Human Services Director for her telling government contractors not to comply to the Congressional Committees requests for information about the roll-out of the HealtCare.gov website.  Issa promptly warned Sebelius that telling them not to comply was against the law. (See that story HERE).

Today two of those contractors ignored orders from HHS Director, Sebelius, and complied with the Committee's request for data regarding their involvement with the website.

The House Oversight Committee announced that contractor Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSi) "...rejected an unlawful request from the Department of Health and Human Services to withhold documents subpoenaed by the Oversight Committee..."

According to a Committee statement:

"...In a letter to HHS Office of Acquisition and Grants Management Director Daniel Kane CCSi Senior Vice President wrote: 'CCSi takes [its] contractual compliance and customer relations extremely seriously. To that end, CCSi has concluded, after consulting legal counsel, that the enclosed subpoena compels production of the documents requested and, therefore, falls outside the above-referenced contract clause and guidance letter from your office. A validly-issued congressional subpoena compelling the production of documents that are within CCSi’s possession is neither a ‘request’ for documents nor an ‘unauthorized’ disclosure of such documents.'..."

The Committee describes that as a response to a December 6, 2013 letter from HHS to CCSi that demanded, "...As it relates to your contract with CMS, you are required to inform me, as Director of the Office of Acquisition and Grants Management, of any requests for ST&E information that you receive from any party, and you may not release documents without authorization from CMS.  If you receive a request for this information from Congress, CMS will respond directly to the requestor and will work with the requestor to address its interests in this information...”

Later today, Chariman Issa scored another victory for the Oversight Committee, and reports via Committee statement that "...a second contractor working on the HealthCare.gov website, has rejected illegal requests from the Department of Health and Human Services to withhold documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee..."

The Committee's statement says that MITRE's President and CEO Alfred Grasso, in a letter sent to the Committee today, stated::  “MITRE continues to believe that HHS is the appropriate party to provide the Committee with the unredacted SCA documents you are seeking. Nonetheless, I understand from consultation with MITRE’s legal counsel that MITRE has no alternative but to comply with the terms of a congressional subpoena absent some form of judicial intervention.”

Issa reiterated his position on the matter stating:

"...MITRE’s decision is a rejection of efforts by the White House to obstruct oversight...The American people deserve an honest assessment of decisions by the Administration to proceed with the October 1 launch of HealthCare.gov despite warnings about security vulnerabilities. When we have released information on sensitive topics, we have exercised great care to ensure that there are not unintended consequences.  Most often, these releases shed light on false and misleading public statements, whether they are made by the Administration or others. In reviewing the documents lawfully provided by MITRE, we intend to consult carefully with non-conflicted experts to ensure no information is released that could further jeopardize the website’s security..."

In additition to yesterday's warning issued to HHS Director, Sebelius, Oversight Committee Chairman, Issa said today:  "Americans should be disturbed that this Administration is trying to stop government contractors from providing Congress with documents related to the decision to launch HealthCare.gov while known and serious security vulnerabilities were and still may be present.  CCSi’s analysis of the law is correct and its decision to comply protects its executives, investors, and customers from the risk of criminal prosecution for contempt of Congress...The Committee has told HHS that it will make needed consultations with security experts to ensure the protection of sensitive information.  The Administration’s remaining objections are a specious effort to hide serious problems and reckless decision making by officials..."

PO-lice a-- Ni--a! Is What Thugs Call Me!

A local crack head & career alcoholic always calls me a, " PO-lice Azz Ni$$a! " because I dared discipline her once while guarding a friend's vending table on New Orleans world famous Canal St.

This epithet, slurred venomously from her lips, is one familiar to fellow anti-crime activists who happen to be Black.

One humorous occasion she even tried to call, first her "crew" who were going to shoot me, then, failing that, the police ( ??? ), on a phone I doubted even had talk time on it!

The Hood hates cops- even Black ones, no big news flash there! It also especially despises civilian Black men & women seen as supporting police or privately securing the community, hence the word, " PO-lice, " preceding the rest, " Azz Ni$$a! "

When a thug says it I take it; polish it and wear it as a badge of honor, because that means I'm doing my job as an anti crime activist.

The Hood cannot worship criminals and simultaneously emerge single family, violence and drug free- it's impossible!

Until the status quo swings back to a norm promoting being law-abiding, so-called, " PO-lice Azz Ni$$as, " the Hood continues infamy as the provider of disproportionate homicide; violence; addiction and every other negative indicator.

Against such a dismal backdrop, is it any wonder I'm proud to be called a, " PO-lice Azz Ni$$a! " by thugs and, in this instance, thug-ettes?

MAPLIGHT, the non-profit government watchdog that reveals the influence of money on politics in the U.S. Congress and in the California and Wisconsin state legislatures, has released a report that details financial contributions by "intelligence services contractors" to members of Congress that oversee their activities.

Maplight asserts that "...We provide journalists and citizens with transparency MAPLIGHT.jpg?width=400tools that connect data on campaign contributions, politicians, legislative votes, industries, companies, and more to show patterns of influence never before possible to see. These tools allow users to gain unique insights into how campaign contributions affect policy so they can draw their own conclusions about how money influences our political system..."

The report, submitted by Donny Shaw, explains that in the wake of document leaks by former National Security Agency contractor, Edward Snowden, "...the congressional committees in charge of overseeing the government's intelligence operations have come to the defense of the surveillance and data collection programs, and the agencies that administer them. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence have rejected attempts to reform the programs while advancing legislation to bolster their legal status and providing a funding boost to the National Security Agency (NSA) to protect their secrecy..."

The report states that several of the companies "...receiving intelligence contracts are major donors to members of the intelligence committees, including L-3 Communications, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Honeywell International..."

Specifically:

  • "...In total, members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence have received $3.7 million from top intelligence services contractors since January 1, 2005.
  • Members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence from Maryland -- home of NSA headquarters -- led the committees in money received from top intelligence contractors. Representative C.A. "Dutch" Ruppersberger, D-Md., is the largest recipient, having received $363,600 since January 1, 2005. Senator Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., is the second largest recipient, having received $210,150.
  • Republican members of House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence have received $1.86 million since January 1, 2005, while Democrat members have received $1.82 million over the same time period.
  • Members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence have received $2.2 million since January 1, 2005 from top intelligence services contractors, while members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence have received $1.5 million.
  • Lockheed Martin has given $798,910 to members the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence since January 1, 2005, more than any of the other top 20 intelligence service contractors. Northrop Grumman has given $753,101, the second highest amount, and Honeywell has given $714,913, the third highest amount..."

Additionally Shaw reports that California (Dem) Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Vermont (Dem) Senator Patrick Leahy, "...are in a showdown over legislation related to the National Security Agency's bulk data collection programs...Last week, Leahy, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, introduced legislation that would put an end to many of the NSA's bulk surveillance and data collection activities that have come to light from the release of classified documents leaked by Edward Snowden. Groups like the ACLU and Public Knowledge are hailing the bill as an effective measure that would enact core reforms to protect civil liberties..."

However, Shaw says:

"...on October 30, Feinstein, the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, pushed legislation through her committee that would provide legal authority for many of the NSA's current records collection policies, while making changes to the agency's reporting requirements and requiring Senate confirmation of the NSA director. Feinstein has continually defended the legality of the phone records program and at a hearing earlier this month said, 'I will do everything I can to keep this program from being cancelled out...to destroy it is to make this nation more vulnerable.'..."

Are these legislators breaking any laws by receiving campaign contributions from the very vested interests they are supposedly regulating?

While the answer is "no," does anyone not wonder why they do not have the integrity, the ethics, the "internal compass" that tells them that it is wrong to do so, even for the sake of the appearance of propriety.

How can money they receive from the agencies these elected officials are supposed to "check" not be more than a bribe, so that they vote in favor of the interests of the contractors?

One can argue that there is no law that prohibits Legislators from receiving the big bucks from the agencies they are supposed to be regulating.  But why does there need to be an "external deterrent," i.e., a law that punishes them for doing so?  Why can they not ethically or morally control themselves? Why must there be the force of law and a penalty at the point of a gun to regulate them?

Was not their being elected to Congress a trust that they would uphold the ethics of their office?

It appears not.

In fact, it appears that they believe their being sent to represent "We, the People" is a license to lie, sneak, steal, and violate the trust of the very people, whose interests they were sent there to protect.

If this seems like an isolated case to you, consider this little gem.  Back in 2011 CBS 60 Minutes broke a story about Congress being exempt from insider trading rule penalties.  Legislators, due to the nature of their office may or may not have access to inside stock market information.  They, in fact, may have such knowledge because in some cases they make the rules, or at least have knowledge of how the rules are going to be changed, and how that will affect some markets.  This could possibly give them an "edge" to know which way to invest, and therefore have an unfair advantage over others who are not privy to that information.

There are, as a matter of fact, laws that penalize for "insider trading," but Congress was exempt from those laws.  After the CBS expose, there was a clamor for change; there was outrage that Congress men and women might be lining their pockets with "insider" knowledge of market information, and so a law was passed.  Congress was "eager" to restore the trust and confidence that their constituents no longer had and so, essentially they were shamed into passing a law to regulate themselves.

Cumbaya?

Nope.

Just when you thought the sociopaths had turned over a new leaf, last April your Congress, when you were no longer looking, rolled back a major portion of that law.  They specifically undid the portion of the law that required congressional staffers to disclose financial transactions, so that their dealings could be seen by the public to ensure that no insider trading was occurring.

And of when they sent the new law that undid the new restrictions over to the President, did Obama stand up for you, veto it and say "No, I am going to protect the good citizens of this nation from corruption?"

No sir.

The questions here are being asked rhetorically.  There is no pretense of innocence.  There is a point to be made, and that point is that outrage must translate into action.

We have the good people of Maplight politically extending themselves out on a limb so that we can have this information.  But their actions will be in vain unless "We the People" take that information and act on it to make the required changes to impose restrictions, and our wrath, if necessary, to ensure the ethical and moral administration of our government.

It is not enough to be cynical or to laugh and sneer because our government is infested with corruption.  We must act to disinfect, and then act to maintain the required hygiene.

Humpty Dumpty and the Health Fairy

4063790749?profile=original

While all eyes are locked on the Obamacare debacle - Obama is laughing behind closed doors at the citizens of the USA.  He really doesn’t care if Obamacare is successful or not – it’s a good excuse and a shadowed venue that allows him to keep draining our money pot.  His original idea on healthcare was a single payer system of course under the watchful greedy eyes of Big Daddy Government.

Obama knows that Obamacare will never really get off the ground, but he also knows that he can corrupt the healthcare environment by attacking primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitals and some of the best clinics in the World.

By the time Obama’s done billions of tax payer’s money will be squandered and the medical field will be in need of major surgery.  Doctors already are leaving their profession and going into other fields that offer more security and a reasonable livelihood.

Millions of people have had their healthcare providers stripped from them.  Many families with children are already struggling to keep food on the table and to pay bills and now they’re slapped in the face with these bootleg healthcare options with deductibles that many can’t afford.  They have lost their health insurance along with their doctors, their hospitals and their surgeons.

Obama knew at the time the PPACA was signed that this was merely a domino game allowing the Government to take control of our healthcare.  He also knew that Healthcare Insurers would be at his mercy as time goes on – right now he’s pretty much got them by the seat of their pants.  The Insurers must do whatever it takes to stay afloat and they will bow to the Obama God before it’s all over.

Does anyone really believe the story that the youth would flock to the Obamacare website and sign up?  Obama isn’t stupid he knew the young Americans wouldn’t be able to afford the insurance.  He also knew that there would not be any part of the American sector that could step up to the plate and pay for those who didn’t have insurance, the elderly or the ones with pre-existing illnesses.

The broken down website may not have been a part of the strategy, but it very likely was because the longer it was broken the easier it will be for the Government to step in and control our healthcare.

Obama sold the Obamacare package strictly on a pack of lies and the Liberal News Media as usual helped him make the sale.  He knew Americans wouldn’t be able to keep the insurance, their doctors, their hospitals – he knew that families wouldn’t save 2500 per year for healthcare.  He knew that millions, very soon billions of taxpayer’s money would be used, because he managed to keep everyone distracted and off guard.  He knew that some consumers would pay the increased expense and he knew the cost of drugs would increase sharply.

Some interesting statistics.

  1. Bloomberg Government analyst Peter Gosselin says over 1 billion spent in contractor awards.
  2. ACA website according to Joe Barton (R) Texas warns Americans about the privacy problem.  He said,   “We're telling every American if you sign up for this, or you even attempt to sign up, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy.”
  3. How much will it cost to fix the dilapidated website – no one knows the real answer to that question, but many feel it may cost billions before it is completely up and running. (If ever)
  4. It’s estimated that 17 to 20 million people may get subsidies – guess who will end up footing this bill?
  5. How much of our money is Obama spending to advertise Obamacare?  We’ll never know the exact amount, but a billion or two probably will be close.

Wrapping this up there are two big events about to happen in 2014.  Obama and Obamacare are a parallel to the children’s nursery rhyme “Humpty Dumpty.” Obama and Obamacare will come toppling down in 2014 and the Democrats and Liberal News Media will not be able to put “Humpty Dumpty” back together again.

Before the demise of Obamacare, millions more will end up uninsured because business will start dropping coverage for employees before the 2014 Election.  So who will be around to get healthcare back in place – do the Republicans have a back - up plan that is feasible?  What will happen to the millions who have health  insurance for the first time?

According to Freedom Works, House Republicans have uncovered, tucked away in Section 1311(a) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), an UNLIMITED Obamacare implementation slush fund.

It’s an open tap on the US Treasury and this little gem was discovered by Representative Fred Upton (R-Mich.), chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee – it can be used for anything the President wants to spend taxpayer money on, under the guise of "activities related to establishing" Obamacare health benefit exchanges.

So if Freedom Works is correct, Obama and Kathleen Sebelius can merrily continue with the “redistribution” Obama’s real baby.  No one at home again in the White House – Republicans always seem to be a day late and a dollar short.  There are no stewards watching out for American’s money!

As Always,

Little Tboca

The Party that is now led by John Boehner is totally out of sync with reality. Yes, the Head of the Rino party has gone out of his way, with his sorry Herm Edwards impersonation, to again ostracize the American conservatives that put him in office.

Mr. Boehner- Put Down the Pipe. You need to focus on reality or you will be looking for work flippin’ burgers. I’m sure you then will be screaming for $15.oo an hour for that job.

The Real Republicans Serve God and Country, and can read and write. Most Importantly “We the People” Vote Too! Do you think for a minute that Theatrics like those you used today and actions like standing for the same fleecing of the People the Socialist leaning Democrats do is Good for Americans, or just good for you?

There are many in this country that will not stand for your childish antics any more than they will stand for the same for that Carney clown. The Liberal media will surely put you on T.V. but at what cost? Your manhood, your integrity, your dignity all seems to have been flushed down the toilet like so many O’Promises.  You might Keep your Speakership if you like it, but not for long. You may even be good in a debate, but it won’t be against the next Dem running for president. Get your Act together. No, on second thought get your Priorities in Order.

Realistically even my 10 year old girl can see the futility of your words and actions. Even as a Veteran of a whole EIGHT WEEKS in the Navy I can have absolutely ZERO respect for a man of your caliber (or lack of caliber it seems).  Respect is not an attribute that is freely given to an office, position, or rank and standing without reason. Respect Must Be Earned. Whether Senator, Congressman, President, Preacher or anyone, Proof of Respect must be earned by deeds, and actions, long before it is awarded or even Deserved.

Tea Party Member or not, I will always tell the truth about the persons I write about. The excuses used these days are so out of control the truth seems to change along the same lines as any current Pole numbers tabulated.

The Fact that you are siding with anyone you can now is proof enough that your credibility is waning fast. You are fast becoming more irrelevant than Jimmy Carter or Rutherford B. Hayes. If you think turning your back on the conservatives that truly will rule this country soon will get you some cushy job so that you really will continue leaching off the American public, you are in for a rude awakening come re-election time.

Please give us more Ted Cruz’s and Ronald Reagan’s in this world. As it is, this nation will end up like the people I used to watch on the other side of the barb wire fences standing in food lines all day long outside of Guantanamo Naval Air Station back in 1977+78. Those people do their best to get to the United States of America even risking death if need be to try for a better life.

So Boehner old friend, Come and tell me why you want to be a Rino, and I’ll tell you why I’m a Tea Party Republican.

If anyone can forward this message on down the line, I’ll be willing and Ready to give a defense for FREEDOM.

Thanks Patriots.

SEBELIUS TELLS CONTRACTORS NOT TO TALK TO CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATORS; ISSA WARNS HER THAT'S A CRIME...

The Chairman of the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Representative Darrel Issa has been conducting an investigation of the Obama Administration's roll-out of the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), and in doing so has requested information from the companies that the government contracted to do work on the HealthCare.gov website.

According to Issa, the Director of the Department of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, has "...instructed those companies not to comply with the Investigative Committee's request..." for that information.

In a tersely worded letter to Sebelius, Issa stated that "...The Department's hostility toward questions from Congress and the media about the implementation of ObamaCare is well known...The Department's most recent effort to stonewall, however, has morphed from mere obstinacy into criminal obstruction of a congressional investigation..."

Issa referred to a December 6, 2013 letter from the Department of Health and Human Services to the contractor, Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSI), in which HHS claimed the company is contractually precluded from producing documents to Congress.  Issa asserts that the letter further stated that HHS will respond to requests from Congress on the company's behalf:

"...It is my understanding that CCSI was not the only contractor to receive a letter like this...The letter to CCSI stated that the company is:  '[N]ot authorized to disclose to third parties information collected or maintained by or on behalf of a federal agency, including information collected, or information produced during security testing...If you receive a request for this information from Congress, CMS will respond directly to the requestor and will work with the requestor to address its interests in this information..."

An Evening Conversation with Congressman Darre...
Congressman Darrell Issa (Photo credit: stanfordcis)

Issa declares in the letter to Sebelius that the language in the contract between the government (HHS) and the private contractor, which purports to supersede Congress' "...constitutional prerogative to conduct oversight--is without merit..."

"...In fact, it strains credulity to such an extent that it creates the appearance that the Department is using the threat of litigation to deter private companies from cooperating with Congress..." said Issa.

"...The Department's attempt to threaten CCSI for the purpose of deterring the company from providing documents to Congress places the officials responsible for drafting and sending the letter on the wrong side of federal statutes that prohibit obstruction of a congressional investigation...Obstructing a Congressional investigation is a crime..." he writes.

Issa then instructs Sebelius on federal obstruction laws.

"...Congress' right of access to information is constitutionally based and critical to the integrity and effectiveness of our oversight and investigative activities...For that reason, it is widely understood that private citizens and companies cannot contract away their duty to comply with a congressional request for documents...[T]he Department's instruction to CCSI and other contractors not to respond to congressional document requests runs afoul of a federal statute that prohibits interfering with an employees' right to furnish information to Congress.  Under that statute, any effort to enforce a contract that prevents a federal employee -- or in this case, a contractor -- from communicating with Congress is unlawful..."

Issa essentially reads Sebelius the "Riot Act," when he quotes the law that prohibits, and makes it a crime to obstruct a Congressional investigation:

"...Whoever corruptly, or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication influences, obstructs or impedes or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede the due and proper administration of the law under which any pending proceeding is being had before any department or agency of the United States, or the due and proper exercise of the power of inquiry under which any inquiry or investigation is being had by either House, or any committee of either House or any joint committee of the Congress, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both..."

Issa tells Sebelius that Congressional Committee investigators take any effort to obstruct or otherwise interfere with its investigations very seriously, and requests that she:

"...direct all employees in your Department to cease obstructing the Committee's investigation of the implementation of the ACA through HealthCare.gov..."

Issa reminds Sebelius that an October 30, 2013 subpoena issued to her, that would "capture" the information he requested from contractors, is still in effect, and asserts that "...The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the principal oversight committee of the House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate 'any matter' at 'any time' under House Rule X..." which states that "... The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform shall review and study on a continuing basis the operation of Government activities at all levels with a view to determining their economy and efficiency..."

Does ‘everyone’ on this Union County, NC Superior Court Jury, this Union County, NC School Board Administration, their ‘legal team’ who function all at taxpayers’ expense, and/or this Union County, NC Board of Education ‘lack’ the abilities indicating this Judgment against Union County, NC, if it stands in the NC Supreme Court, could bring Union County, NC to be forced into a Union County, NC Bankruptcy; equivalent to what you can see now in Detroit, Michigan.

Homeowners, businesses, and all others will be unable and/or unwilling to pay these outrageous tax increases as given to this Court decision when better appealing locations will be much more attractive to live in and work in businesses.

Crybaby Boehner is alienating every true conservative. The GOP is downright worthless just slightly less so than the Democrats. The Dems have tended toward socialism/Marxism beginning with Andrew Jackson and accelerating with Woodrow Wilson ( Income Tax, Internal Revenue Service, Federal Reserve System and on to and through FDR and the Social Security System, tampering with the SCOTUS, the WPA and Lend-Lease, To Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton both of whom decimated our military cause Reagan an Bush to rebuild it to the superb force it is today, unless we allow Obama to totally ruin all five branches. Boehner on his leadership position should be impeaching Obama and indicting him, Clinton, Panetta, and Holder for accessory to Murder and treason. Man up John, do your job or vacate the premises. CLEAN HOUSE! Stop double dealing with Reid and Obama; hold the line on the budget, reduce the deficit, support the military, defund ObamaCare, the EPA, and Common Core. Those are your orders, Carry on or step down! Understood?

4063790373?profile=originalPleasantly surprised and a bit shocked, I enjoyed religious Christmas Carols played in the elevator of a major hotel. Progressive bullies are relentless in their quest to repeal the celebration of Jesus' birthday, Christmas, declared a federal holiday in 1870 by President Ulysses S. Grant.

Illustrating the effectiveness of the progressive's intimidation, anonymously signs are being stealthily posted in public areas, “It's OK to say, Merry Christmas”.

The progressive's assault on Christmas leads me to MSNBC-TV host, Martin Bashir's degrading and disgusting punishment suggested for Sarah Palin (someone defecate in her mouth). While watching the MSNBC deplorable segment, produced with graphics, in which Bashir exposed his extreme pure hatred of Sarah Palin, a tear appeared in my eye. I thought, “Dear Lord, why must this courageous decent woman suffer such humiliating disrespect?”

And yet, this is what one must endure for daring to tout Christianity and Conservatism in America today. Despite not much push back and even receiving sympathy from fellow progressives in the media, weeks after his disgraceful rant against Palin, Bashir was forced to resign.

Folks, when Bashir suggested that someone defecate in Palin's mouth, it is not a stretch to believe that he would wish a similarly evil fate for all conservatives and the Tea Party.

At every turn the moral and upright traditions, principles and values that we grew up with are under attack, bullied into the shadows. Could you ever imagine a day in America in which saying, “Merry Christmas” would be deemed controversial or offensive?

While a majority of Americans embrace Conservatism, progressives dominate public education, Hollywood, the mainstream media and the bully pulpit of the White House. For decades they have been indoctrinating our kids, chipping away at the values of their parents. Opposition to the progressive agenda is dealt with severely with an iron fist. Intimidated, Americans know their place. Only a few rare souls have the courage to speak-out, challenging the progressive agenda.

In this holiday season along with clinging close to our beloved families and friends, it is crucially important that we send warm Christmas hugs to our hand full of courageous faithful conservative warriors who are standing strong, fighting the good fight to preserve traditional principles and values which we hold dear.

Worthy of special Christmas thanks are Mike Lee and Ted Cruz for leading the charge to repeal Obamacare which is the Grinch threatening to steal the joy of Christmas this year and every American Christmas from now on.

Other champions of Conservatism deserving our thanks this holiday season are Ken Cuccinelli, Steve Lonegan, Sarah Palin, Trey Gowdy and Gov. Scott Walker. I am sure you know of other conservative warriors who should be included.

With the mainstream media acting as Obama's PR firm and establishment Republicans sipping if not drinking the progressive's Kool-Aid, our brave conservative representatives are our only defense against Obama governing as a dictator – America's first Imperial President.

Obama's hits just keep on coming. At his command, over 100 million Americans will lose their health care plans and doctors which Obama, insidiously lying, promised they could keep.

Supplicants are ordered to surrender their most private personal information to an unsecured website which experts deem easily hackable.

Daily, new unlawful and unprecedented power grabs are being exposed hidden in Obamacare. Emperor Obama unlawfully exempts his chosen from burdensome mandates he has forced on the rest of us. By executive order (Imperial Decree), Obama creates new laws and ignores the Constitution at will; repealing more and more of our freedoms.

While Obama's blatant unlawful behavior and impeachable offenses are plain for the world to see, with a weak-kneed congress unwilling to push back, Obama might as well be king.

Despite his polling plummeting to the 30s, losing the Millennials and 52% of Americans saying Obama is not honest and trustworthy, displaying remarkable arrogance, Obama remains relentlessly steadfast in his quest to ram Obamacare down our throats; fundamentally transforming America.

This is why we so desperately need and appreciate our faithful remnant of conservative warriors. As God promised to bless the faithful remnant of Israel, I believe our faithful remnant will also be blessed; good triumphs over evil.

My favorite Christmas special from my childhood is “Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol”. I found it on Youtube and enjoyed it.

As you enjoy tasty delights, opening gifts and pondering the reason for the season with family and friends, please remember with warm thanks, appreciation and support our faithful remnant of conservative warriors. We are in a war for the soul of America. On my grown up Christmas list is for God to strengthen and keep our faithful remnant of conservative warriors who are courageously fighting on the front line for us.

Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year!

Here we go again. Election year 2014,is almost upon us.This week, or what is left of it will focus on the budget. By Friday, Congress will announce a true Bi-Partisan bill that although had some give and take on both sides, is best for the country. It will include over 20 billion in cuts over the next 10 years and the parties will start prior to going home for the holidays.Congress will expect Americans to buy this even though there is over a 17 Trilion dollar deficit and over 100 trillion dollars in obligations. I am 57 and can remember the first time I heard the word "trillion". It seemed so unreal that we laughed at the word. Now iam asking what comes after a trillion?Upon return the deficit and budget will not have to be dealt with again till after November so why bring it up. Illegal immigration will be the topic. This is a great topic because everyone can posture and appear to be supporting their constituents. In Texas, where I an from, you will start to see pictures of crime ridden towns, drug smuggling and anything else one can think of. These events are taking place right now but you won't hear about them until Congress returns. The other side will be showing pictures of children being torn from there mothers arms and maybe some human trafficking.Don't get me wrong. I am very concerned about this issue and the laws that are being broken. What I am trying to say is both sides, which ever they are on, will use it to appease their constituents and there will be no resolution. I have my own theory of why the most powerful country in the world can't stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs in to our country but it scares me when I think about it.After going through the era I grew up in, I swore that nothing could ever scare me again. Concern me, yes, but not scare me. Now I wake up and go to work and fight a losing battle every day. They would not let us win in the 70's and we went home in shame. Don't let them do it again.

Budget deal is a bad deal

I can't sit idle and silent on the great "budget deal" reached in Congress.
So, they've agreed to cut $23 billion from the proposed growth in government spending over the next 10 years.
The federal budget is $3.8 Trillion, with a deficit of $642 Billion. Total debt is #17.3 Trillion, 2013 annual revenues were $2.8 Trillion.

Put into terms of a household, minus a bunch of zeros:
If your family was $170,000 in debt, with an annual income of $28,000 and going further into debt by about $650 - $1000 a year. Then, your spouse comes to you and says, "Hey, honey, good news,, I was planning on borrowing another $700 next year without paying off any of our debt, but instead, we're only going to go into debt by $697.70!!" Just how excited would you be?

This is crazy. When are we really going to take a stand against Big Government? Its so frustrating watching this train wreck. The problem is, we're all passengers on this AMTRAK to disaster, and we're taking our kids down with us.

And The Beatdown Goes On

Three years ago, Nancy Pelosi said that we had to pass the bill to see what was in it. Well, those who weren’t paying attention back then are now finding out why we had to pass the law first, before the people could find out what terrible things were in the bill. Many of us knew what was to become of the best healthcare in the world and were ignored or worse. To paraphrase Barack Hussein Obama’s pastor, the chickens are coming home to roost.

We were told by every Democrat that if we liked our plan, we could keep it. Obama told us that after the bill passed, then later campaigned for re-election on it. He continued that until the insurance companies started sending out the cancellations and placing the blame squarely on the shoulders of Obamacare. I remember one of our senators, Kay Hagan, proclaiming the same thing in speech after speech. She repeated the mantra that Obamacare was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread and that everybody would greatly benefit from the law. Many other democratic congresspeople were declaring the same thing. Well, so far, 5.9 million people have lost their policies, with more to come. The democrats are so alarmed that Obama has delayed, unconstitutionally, the small business mandate. When all the delays are finished, there will be as many as 125-150 million cancelled policies, resulting in new policies with premiums three to four times more and much higher deductibles. All this so that 30 million uninsured could get insurance. Estimates are that after the dust settles around 30 million people will be uninsured.

Besides not being able to keep our policies, we are finding we can’t keep our doctors. Many doctors are retiring or closing their offices due to the low rate of pay under Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare. By 2015, the rate of pay for doctor services will be 16 cents on the dollar. To top that off, many doctors are being overlooked or ignored by Obamacare. Inclusion in the Obamacare networks is by invitation only huge numbers of doctors, and indeed hospitals, were not invited. If a doctor finds that he wasn’t invited, nobody can tell them how to get invited. The obvious result of this will be massive wait times for even simple treatments. Didn’t we point this out even when Hillarycare was being talked about in ’93? I remember pointing out the example of Canada and their wait times.

Now, we find out that, beyond plans, doctors and hospitals, we can’t keep our medicines. The list of approved prescription medications is highly abbreviated, whole classes of drugs not available under the Obamacare policies. You may be able get those drugs, but it will be out of your own pocket and the price doesn’t apply against your deductible. You remember that purple pill for indigestion that used to cost you $20 under your prescription policy. How are you going to like paying the $138 per month  for the same thing, or more? What about the costs of drug cocktails for cancer or HIV? How will people be able to afford the drugs required to fight the life-threatening diseases that are being fought today?

Yesterday, the news broke that volunteer firefighters were going to be the latest victims of Obama’s government-run healthcare law. According to the IRS, the Obamacare Gestapo, the volunteers, whether paid or not, for the purposes of Obamacare, are to be designated as employees, therefore required to be enrolled in Obamacare. Many rural areas rely exclusively on volunteers to fight fires. Many volunteers come to help regular fire stations. But, now, some, if not all, of those volunteer fire departments will have to be dropped as being too expensive to operate, posing considerable loss of property and life in the process.

The more we know about Obamacare, the more we realize that it is an assault on almost everything we have, from our health, our life and our property. This goes beyond a wealth redistribution; it’s an affront to our Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

CONSUMER CREDIT DATA PROPOSAL

(First submitted to Congress and President Obama in Early 2009)

American Consumer Credit Data Security and Outsourced Employment Repatriation Act of 2014

Recent events in India and Pakistan as well as North Africa and the Middle East have, collectively, shown that hostility toward Western civilians, Western Institutions, and Western Nations is on the increase, as demonstrated by a seemingly endless parade of terrorist activities.

In many nations, terrorists have carried out attacks against Western interests through, not only bombings, kidnappings, and other acts of violence, but by internet-based attacks, which often exploit personal information from servers in the United States. One reason for such exploitation is to be found in the increasing access that English-speaking nations have to U.S. banking, finance and collection institutions, which have, increasingly “outsourced” everything from routine account creation and maintenance activities to collection of debts of every kind and character. As such, the same United States corporate entities have served to create opportunities for internet-based terrorism, which now includes running sophisticated embezzlement and other “scam” operations against unsuspecting Americans. The scams, not-unlike dealing drugs or prostitutes, are, in-turn, used to finance any number of nefarious schemes.

While some “outsourcing” of work to markets where labor costs are less may make some business sense, even if this practices reduces American jobs, there seems to be a limit where, exceeding said limit would put profits ahead of National Security, even if one has no regard for privacy or other consumer rights for Americans.

In sum, I submit that the curtailment of these opportunities for Internet-based terrorism is in the highest National Security Interests. In many ways, this objective is completely in line with those very few otherwise Constitutionally-legal ideas expressed within the U.S.A. Patriot Act. It is perhaps most ironic that, while the Patriot Act was passed in the alleged name of National Security, with all its banking limitations on ordinary citizens, that U.S. Banks and other large corporations, engaged in debt collections and other financial services operations have been permitted to EXPORT PRIVATE U.S. CITIZEN BANKING, CREDIT, AND PERSONAL DATA TO COUNTRIES KNOWN TO BE HARBOURING AL QAEDA OPERATIONS.

Accordingly, the solution seems simple enough:

Make it illegal for any U.S. Banking, collection agency, or other financial services company; together with any U.S.-based telecommunications or Internet service company, to use ANY Non-USA person or other entity, whether or not said person or business entity is employed by or under contract to any USA person or other entity.

Enforcement should be easy enough. The FED and the Treasury Department have largely taken control of many of the US banks and should give them 60 days to cease and desist from all foreign operations involving servicing United States citizens, whether for credit, collections, any other financial service or product, telecommunications account(s) or Internet Service Provider (ISP) accounts, together with any other forms of remote technical support.

Suggested penalties for failure to comply might include, but should not be limited to, (1) revocation of the violator’s bank or other institutional charter and (2) imprisonment and fines against any such violator institutions President, CEO, Board Chairman, and all Board members.

There is little doubt that many in the business community will be against this idea, since they will claim it will affect their bottom line. However, the National Security implications of this issue are real enough. Further and finally, businesses that voluntarily take steps to comply with these new measure, if enacted, will be perceived as being both patriotic and as good corporate citizens, since they will almost certainly re-employ some of the many, many thousands of Americans who have been displaced by these “outsourcing” practices over the recent years in the banking, collection, financial services, telecommunications, and ISP service industries, together with firms offering all forms of remote technical support.

One good policy measure to encourage voluntary compliance might be to offer a one-time tax incentive to US businesses who comply with this measure in less than the 60 days I have suggested. I would make them show and certify that ALL foreign operations had been terminated (verified by the US Commercial Services branch of the Embassies of the countries involved) and that they had created, one-for-one a like job in the United States, replacing, one-for-one, the job formerly outsourced in some foreign country. I would offer a one-time corporate tax credit of $14,560.00 (One person, at $7.00 per hour, for one normal year of employment) per person, per job, returned in this manner to the United States from some foreign jurisdiction, if and only if, the foreign jurisdiction operation is closed altogether (certified as mentioned above) and a corresponding new job in the United States is created to replace the former“outsourced” job (to be verified by the U.S. Department of Labor and co-coordinated with the State Department on the foreign side, for one-to-one correspondence verifications).

To review, the job areas targeted for“re-patriation”:

1. All servicing of U.S. citizen (personal and/or corporate) banking and other financial services accounts for U.S. citizens;

2.   ALL servicing of U.S. citizen(personal and/or corporate)  collection activities carried out by any company or individual, whether or not organized, chartered or situated within the United States;

3.        ALL servicing of U.S. citizen (personal and/or corporate) telecommunications accounts;

4. ALL servicing of U.S. citizen (personal and/or corporate) Internet Service Provider (ISP) accounts and/or other forms of remote technical support.

It is my firm belief that these actions will increase the National Security Interests of the United States by denying opportunities for financing terror operations via various forms of internet and other identity fraud.

Further and finally, these measures will re-create U.S. jobs at a maximum cost to the American taxpayers of $14,560.00 per job. Under this plan, the entire 2.5 million new jobs targeted by the incoming Obama Administration could, theoretically, cost the taxpayers $36.4 Billion dollars, assuming there are 2.5 million outsourced service industry jobs that are covered by this proposal.

ADDENDUM:

While the basis for this proposed legislation was the idea that increasing U.S. national data security could become the basis for repatriation of millions of American jobs lost to this type of activity over the past decade, it is worth noting that similar, parallel legislation should be considered for enactment which similarly bars outsourcing of employment in other areas not covered by this proposed legislation.

I speak, specifically, here about the United States automotive industry and any other industry that has come to the U.S. taxpayers for some kind of “bail-out”. Right now, it is just the banks and financial institutions. However, if the Detroit automakers are to receive money or other help of any kind from the American taxpayers, they should berequired to eliminate jobs created in Mexico or Canada, which have displaced U.S. employees, on a similar basis to that proposed for the banks and other outsourced services proposed and covered, by the above proposed legislation.

Such a requirement would not have the effect of altogether negating N.A.F.T.A., but is a permissible activity since the United States does not offer national health insurance like the Canadians do, or pay no regard to environmental protection measures required by international treaties, like the Mexicans do. We only propose tax incentives to create a more “level playing field” for American workers and American Industries.

I would propose that any such legislation use the same target number ($14,560.00 per job) as an appropriate tax credit to repatriate U.S. automotive and other manufacturing jobs back into the United States as part of a general job re-creation program. While it is not necessarily so that any new jobs would be created immediately, it is equally true that any jobs re-patriated under this type of measure are bound to have existed, once-upon-a-time, in the United States. This just brings them home.

Seymour Hersh, at Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Pulitzer Prize winning Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh has authored an article in the London Review of Books, in which he makes the case that Obama (and his Secretary of State, John Kerry) lied to the American people about allegations that the Syrian Assad regime had used Sarin gas against its own people, in order to justify taking military action against the Syrian regime. Hersh made the assertions in an article titled "Whose Sarin?" According to Hersh:

"...Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack, the American intelligence agencies produced a series of highly classified reports, culminating in a formal Operations Order – a planning document that precedes a ground invasion – citing evidence that the al-Nusra Front, a jihadi group affiliated with al-Qaida, had mastered the mechanics of creating sarin and was capable of manufacturing it in quantity. When the attack occurred al-Nusra should have been a suspect, but the administration cherry-picked intelligence to justify a strike against Assad..."

The Hersh allegations add gasoline to the fire of widespread and growing public perceptions about Obama and his administration's diminished credibility due to his having lied to Americans about what they should have expected from ObamaCare, including the failed roll-out of the ObamaCare web site weeks ago, and a host of scandals that continue to plague the White House: The failed "Fast and Furious" Gun Running scandal; Benghazi; the IRS targeting of the Tea Party and Conservatives; the NSA Spying scandal; the Department of Justice spying on the media; the killing of Seal Team Operatives in Afghanistan by the Taliban; etc.

Hersh writes:

"...In his nationally televised speech about Syria on 10 September, Obama laid the blame for the nerve gas attack on the rebel-held suburb of Eastern Ghouta firmly on Assad’s government, and made it clear he was prepared to back up his earlier public warnings that any use of chemical weapons would cross a ‘red line’: ‘Assad’s government gassed to death over a thousand people,’ he said. ‘We know the Assad regime was responsible … And that is why, after careful deliberation, I determined that it is in the national security interests of the United States to respond to the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons through a targeted military strike.’ Obama was going to war to back up a public threat, but he was doing so without knowing for sure who did what in the early morning of 21 August..."

Hersh says in the article that "...

Hersh reports that Obama's actions were in question by military and intelligence leaders, writing that:

"...in recent interviews with intelligence and military officers and consultants past and present, I found intense concern, and on occasion anger, over what was repeatedly seen as the deliberate manipulation of intelligence. One high-level intelligence officer, in an email to a colleague, called the administration’s assurances of Assad’s responsibility a ‘ruse’. The attack ‘was not the result of the current regime’, he wrote. A former senior intelligence official told me that the Obama administration had altered the available information – in terms of its timing and sequence – to enable the president and his advisers to make intelligence retrieved days after the attack look as if it had been picked up and analysed in real time, as the attack was happening. The distortion, he said, reminded him of the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin incident, when the Johnson administration reversed the sequence of National Security Agency intercepts to justify one of the early bombings of North Vietnam. The same official said there was immense frustration inside the military and intelligence bureaucracy: ‘The guys are throwing their hands in the air and saying, 'How can we help this guy' – Obama – 'when he and his cronies in the White House make up the intelligence as they go along?'..."

Hersh concludes that:

"...The administration’s distortion of the facts surrounding the sarin attack raises an unavoidable question: do we have the whole story of Obama’s willingness to walk away from his ‘red line’ threat to bomb Syria? He had claimed to have an iron-clad case but suddenly agreed to take the issue to Congress, and later to accept Assad’s offer to relinquish his chemical weapons. It appears possible that at some point he was directly confronted with contradictory information: evidence strong enough to persuade him to cancel his attack plan, and take the criticism sure to come from Republicans..."

God and government

I was asked of my faith and its origins. I am a Christian but don't normally discuss my faith here. But, because I was asked, I'll address it briefly.
I believe that if one believes in God, they MUST believe in Freedom and Liberty. If you believe in God, then you believe that God made you. If you believe that God made you, then He made you and put you on this earth to accomplish something. He put you here with a purpose.
If God put you here with a purpose, then you MUST be free do pursue God's purpose for your life. How can you pursue God's purpose in your life if you are bound in slavery? This is precisely why our Rights do not come from government, but come from God. That's why We the People made government not the other way around.
We the People are the sovereign masters of government and government exists solely to protect our Rights.
