book (12)

Here are 10 things you never knew about Barry Donadio’s First Book “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account”. This may shock you.

1. He waited 17 years to publish it.

Donadio spent his entire career in U.S. Government service in some way or another. Whether it was in the military or in the United States Secret Service, he had always served in positions that did not permit him to release a book about his experiences. On June 28th, 2013, Donadio made a career change when he went into the private sector. This move opened the door for him to publish his first book “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Account” in September 2013.

2. He had to have the book censored and approved by the U.S Government prior to being published.

Because Donadio held one of the highest security clearances that you can obtain in the United States, he is obligated to submit anything he writes to the U.S. Government for potential censorship. This is due to the knowledge of a broad spectrum of government top secret information that needs to be protected.

3. The original transcript was stored in a file only to be opened after his death.

Prior to publishing his book, Donadio had left his witness account with his will and other papers in the case he died. Donadio knew that he was a part of a mysterious national event that would have many questions asked about it for decades. Being that he was at the incident, he felt he should pass his account to his family.

4. He went to the Alamo and he consulted about publishing his book with Dr. Bruce Winders, the curator of the Alamo.

Donadio traveled to San Antonio to consult with the very respected Dr. Bruce Winders who is actually the curator of the Alamo. Texas was always a special place for Donadio because he had lived in Galveston with his mother in 1975 for about a year. He visited the Alamo for the first time during that time period and had since been intrigued by it.

5. He did not name the book

Donadio could not come up with a name for his book until he consulted with his close friend Christy Bowe of the White House Press Corps. Christy is a world-class photographer and CEO of Imagecather News. The two met at the White House while they both worked there. They still maintain a close friendship today.

6. He does not offer an opinion as to why the plane crashed.

Donadio never speaks about why the plane crashed and offers an opinion on the matter. When he is put on the spot and asked why the plane crashed he states: “I don’t talk about why the plane crashed”. This could be due to the obligations of the confidentiality agreements he signed with the government when he was employed with the military or the U.S. Secret Service. Is it that he could actually know why the plane crashed but he is concerned with potential repercussions? We may never know.

7. He does not make any bold claim to have partaken in any heroic actions during the incident.

Donadio is very open about his experience on the night of the crash of TWA Flight 800. He makes no claim to being a hero or doing much of anything during his response to the incident. He was mostly an observer on that evening because he had no live patients to attend to as an Emergency Medical Technician on the scene. Unfortunately, all of the passengers of the plane were deceased by the time they arrived to where Donadio was standing by to help them.

8. He is the only person that has written a book about the crash that was actually there on the evening it crashed.

As of today, Donadio is the only one that we know of that wrote a book about the TWA Flt. 800 crash that was actually there that evening. This gives an insight of small details that occurred during the terrible evening. Many other works that have been written about the crash are highly opinionated and some are even fictional.

9. His account of the injuries inflicted on the victims of the crash differs from newspaper accounts.

If you research public information regarding how the passengers of TWA Flight 800 died, you will find many references of burned bodies. Donadio, however makes no mention of bodies that he observed having any burns or any being burned beyond recognition. This adds to the conspiracy theory supporters point of view.

10. He wrote half of the book while sitting at his wife’s deathbed.

Donadio is only now opening up about speaking about the loss of his wife Alexandra Catalina Donadio on April 17th, 2014. Just when he began writing his book, tragedy struck in June of 2013. His wife underwent a medical procedure that took an unexpected turn leaving her in a coma for 9 months. Donadio was left caring for his 2 young daughters during the ordeal. He stayed by his wife's bedside for the entire 9 months until she died in April of 2014. It was during the worst time in his life that he worked on the book at his wife's hospital bedside.

Donadio’s book “TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account” can be purchased on

After a 6 year break, Donadio published his second book “That Day When Hell Froze Over” on August 17th, 2019. Donadio is expected to pick up the pace with his book publishing and release his next few books more quickly.

This is a work in progress about autism.  The perspective is from the real world view.

I want to hear from you what should go into a book from a real world perspective.

Also, I would appreciate letting me interview you.  I know you may think you are not a professional.

However, you may know more than you think.  Have you ever gotten rotten advice from professional

experts?   I am not here to bash all experts.  Yet, I want to hear from the people on the frontlines that

may often be overlooked.  By doing this, I feel we can have a better understanding that some fail to do so

by leaving stones unturned.

I need to let my readers know I might be changing my working business name to ARM, Autism

Do not tell me that “I know what I did.” I do not. Tell me what my infraction was in

simple, concise manner. I want to please you, but I have difficulties inferring

meaning within a vague statement. For instance, do not say please clean up your

bedroom.Tell me Exactly what you want, such as “Please make your bed and pick up

your toys.”

Please remind me and note the talents I possess. This increases my confidence

and positive self worth. Learning disabled or not, we ALL have talents to contribute

within society. I need you to help me realize what mine is. Believe in me and I will

believe in myself.

Please do not mimic me, ignore me or bully me. Please invite me to play with you. It

hurts when I am excluded. I like to run and jump in the playground, and be invited to

birthday parties too. Grownups can help me make friends by encouraging other

children to play with me. I can be a loyal friend if you get to know me.

I do not like being ordered about any more than the other children. Give me choices

so I know you value my capabilities and opinions. Make them simple and concise.

Present two options or so. I get confused when too many questions or directions are

given at one time due to my processing speed. For instance, ask me if I would like

to wear my blue sweater or green one, rather than asking which sweater I would like

to wear.

I am an individual, just like other children. As my son used to say, “Mom my name

is John (name changed for anonymity) not Aspergers.” A profound statement

would say. :-0)

As a mom that really tries. My therapist says, “I way over compensate for my son!”

(I will share his name but you must see or find it in my post “My get away if” @

Here are my personal ties to these thoughtful Commands of Mari Nosal’s.

I am guilty of this quite a lot. But then again my son has hidden his talents quite well.

Recently I discovered I was right about his reading level or understanding being

much higher. Yet, was until recent a provider put things in to a term or used concrete

adjectives that brought clarity to me. This provider said his anxiety will make him

function at ( I know many do not like these words but they exist and carry a meaning

that is clear. To be clear I hate the words myself because I see that those on the

spectrum are treated this way when they are often smarter than a person assessing

them. I have often been treated this way. I either get real mad or think they are

ignorant and go on. That is harder to do when it deals with a passion of helping

those in society that are the most vulnerable. If not for my son, I would go crawl into

a think tank organization and forget this stuff) M. R level. Because I know my son

and this has been proven again and again, I fail on this in many ways. I struggle with

this where my husband is much better. It is frustrating for my son I know. Why?

Because I have to stop people and slow them down. However, when I do slow

people down and they get I care; they tended to come back to me and forever or a

long time. I could say much more but this is all I will except be patient with these

blessings from God. It is hard mom’s and dad’s I know. I will have to be mindful of

this till the day I die.

I do this and then I don’t. When my son says my parents didn’t are he shouldn’t do something; I do lots of reminding. I tell him I don’t care what he wants to do. I only want to make sure he has a job doing something he likes that he can make enough money at it. I tell him I could spend time doing something else besides a lot of time in him. I told him I don’t because I love him. Parents that care and take parenting serious do this. I tell him God does this for all those he loves and parents do the same. He will say he can’t are those that have special needs more or less shouldn’t have to do this. I quote and make an example of his favorite person on Earth at this moment. His Grandma Mallo! By gracious! She is 85 with one leg shorter than the other and a Club Foot. Special Needs this and that programs? Where were they then? Well for one there was the Shriner’s Hospital’s! Besides that she had to do most things on her own with the grace and help of God. She worked her whole life. She sacrificed for her four children. This shuts up a child that wants to get by using his disability as a crutch. I am the hard one in the parent chain. My husband is the softy. Being on the same page or closer might be better. I try harder and pray about this often. I am thankful to a case manager of sorts Dr. Samuel Oliphant. Before my wreck I had little time to find things like the Oklahoma Autism Network and other. That is why I want to write and inform others. We are missing a complete audience of people still going it alone.

I would say I never excluded Tanner from an activity. If anything I drug him to too

many. Accepting that he isn’t as extroverted as me; by a person I will be grateful to

forever and still seek her guidance from OKAY pointed this out to me. I do not see

this in myself; I mean being outgoing. I can see that my husband is much closer to

Tanner in the social quietness section termed introvert by this person I owe so much.

I have to do more of letting Tanner be Tanner. He doesn’t have to do everything to

be more social. I know he needs to be but he doesn’t enjoy it so stepping back a

bit might be wise.

9. I try to do this with Tanner. But, as a parent, I have to see that I expose and push

him out of the nest. Giving him choices I do. I forget sometimes that he is a teen,

seventeen. He is capable of all that I say but I keep pushing on and on treating him

as if he a child. Then again, my mother still introduces me as her baby. Therefore,

it could be the natural order of things. Should I get down on myself too much or

continue to try to do better?

I wouldn’t say I judge people by their diagnosis at all. If anything I might over

explain them by their diagnosis. Guilty of doing this with my son. My son may

have perceived this or my spouse but I have never been ashamed of my son. I

have felt blessed by him. Tried by patience with him maybe more so because of a

diagnosis but not about him. I only looked for a diagnosis as a launching pad to

look for things to help and do for him or understanding to get ideas for helping.

Perfect I am not but I try. I hope this has been helpful. I love this book because it hits at the heart of help and core of parenthood. Honesty at the core.

******All of the above come from the book(pages 12 and 13) Ten Commandments Of interacting with Kids On The Autism Spectrum And Related Commandments by Mari Nosal.

Now it is time to inventory my parental behavior after seventeen years.

  1. Of course I have yelled.  I am human.  I try not and will try even harder.   Like the Ten Commandments, it is hard for anyone to be perfect.  The point I am taking away from this is if you are doing it all the time and never make an effort there needs to be huge changes.  I try very hard and still have to watch very hard.  It is not an easy task.  I hope this book does for you what I wish I had known.  Maybe then my learned behavior wouldn’t be like kicking smoking.
  2. Guilty.  Still do this some. Yet, did a lot when he was a child.  I think most parents do this out of concern and love instead of malice. Again, younger parents and teachers take the advice and wisdom.
  3. I always believed in my son.  Careful though with all those extra therapies.  My son Tanner asked, “Mom how stupid do you think I am?”  He thought I pictured him as dumb and needed to fix him.  I told him that I had problems when I was younger and I didn’t get help.  I told him I was trying to give him something I didn’t get to help me with the stress and strain.  Perceptions and Deceptions a slight tongue imbalance but oh how the emotions roll off so different!.

  1. See 3 tis the same to me.
  2. Guilty again.  I defer a little here.  I say these kids need to be held to a same high standard.  One has to get to know these kids well while working with to figure out when they are playing you and not.  I know I have seen my son play reading on 4th grade level and finally nailed him this summer on 11th grade using a MicroSoft 2010 Grade Reading Readability Calculator.  He still tried to wiggle out but now I have him in a regular History Class.  The school provided a one on one aide without me throwing a fit.  The schools have always been great when it comes to my son.  Maybe a couple of minor things but the schools rule for me.

My son used to scream loud and piercing in the car.  I would pull over and check on him.  One automatic act was to turn off the radio.  When he got older and put two words together he said, “Music Off!”  By Ollamok

Last fall President Obama challenged Mitt Romney to come clean and release his tax returns so voters would know whether he paid his fair share.  I respectfully ask President Obama to come clean regarding the filing of his 1990 tax return when he signed a six-figure contract book deal with Poseidon Press. Failure to do so would be a violation of Title 26-Internal Revenue Code.

GQ Magazine’s November 2009 issue ( reported that President Obama signed a six-figure contract with Poseidon Press on November 28, 1990.  The exact amount was reported as $150,000 by Christopher Andersen in his book Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage.  According to Jack Cahill, Barack Obama was advanced $75,000 for the book.  It’s not unusual in the publishing business to receive one-third to one-half of the contract value upfront. However, a $75,000 advance would have required a recent law school graduate strapped with heavy student debt to pay the IRS $25,000 four and ½ months later. Failure to do so would be a violation of Title 26-Internal Revenue Code.  I have been a CPA over 33 years and I’m Certified in Financial Forensics. In 1988 I was hired by the Arizona House of Representative in the Senate Impeachment Trial of Governor Evan Mecham.  My forensic analysis of an improper $80,000 loan from a political protocol fund to a car dealership justified the impeachment of Governor Mecham.

I reviewed the tax returns of both presidential candidates. ( During my analysis of President Obama’s 2001 Individual Tax Return, I found 10 math errors.  All of the errors were simple arithmetic errors that would have been prevented with a computerized program such as Turbo Tax.

President Obama’s 2001 tax return wasn’t signed by a paid preparer and it would appear it was prepared by President or Ms. Obama.  I determined that the Obamas prepared three drafts of their 2001 tax return.  The first draft calculated an income tax liability of $79,000.  This would have required taxable income of $271,000.  In contrast, President Obama’s website shows 2001 taxable income of $250,000.   President Obama ended up paying income tax on $21,000 of phantom income that resulted in sending Uncle Sam an extra $7,300.  I think Republicans and Democrats will unanimously agree that President Obama is one of the greatest orators of our time.  The same can’t be said regarding President Obama’s skill as a tax preparer!

Based on the fact that President Obama used bits and pieces from three different 2001 tax drafts, made 10 errors, overpaid his taxes by $7,300 by claiming $21,000 of phantom income, it would appear that President Obama lacked the accounting skills to competently prepare his tax return.  If President Obama wasn’t proficient at preparing his taxes in 2001 it’s not a stretch to assume that he wouldn’t have been proficient in 1990.

I believe President Obama’s may have a skeleton in his tax closet from the mishandling of his est. $75,000 book advance from Poseidon Press in November of 1990.   Only  three tax scenarios exist: 1) filed correctly and paid the IRS $25,000, 2) reported income as passive, failed to pay social security taxes and owes the IRS $41,000 or 3) never received 1099 from the publisher, failed to properly report the income and currently owes the US Treasury $125,000.

I contacted the IRS and they indicated that the tax records may go back to 1990.  Another method to determine if President Obama paid his “fair share” would be to verify his 1990 earnings with the Social Security Administration.  American taxpayers can decide for themselves whether a young Barack Obama should be given a free pass or if he should be held to the same standard as all Americans

Obama and tuition reduction

So Obama will withhold federal funds if colleges raise tuition.  Where does he get the right to start managing colleges and universities.  Here is the deal, the federal government now controls the federal grants to colleges and universities and is the only one now allowed to loan money for college  tuition.  That gives the federal government control of our higher education.  Their next step is not just tuition cost containment, but whether the students they are paying for are  receiving value for what the government spends and that means control of the curriculum .  They may elect not to pay colleges that have Ayn Rand and Friedrich von Hayek on their mandatory reading lists.  That's how they do it, little by little in small steps.
