CENTCOM Makes Major Announcement on Disrupting Illegal Shipments Along Ground Routes in Iran!-Posted on RedState-By Nick Arama-On November 7, 2026:

The U.S. has had great success blocking Iran from importing and exporting oil and other products with its naval blockade. 

That means that Iran is always trying to figure out how it can get around the blockade to get things through. 

Now, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced how it is dealing with that, and the concern that Iran could try to get in weapons overland. 

“On Nov. 7, the commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) directed the establishment of a task force that will support ongoing U.S. government efforts to prevent Iran from using ground routes to transport advanced weapons and other materials. 

Adm. Brad Cooper has directed the formation of Task Force Iron Gate, an internal staff of approximately 20 civilian and military personnel based in Tampa, Florida. The new CENTCOM team will coordinate with other U.S. government agencies on preventing the movement of advanced weapons systems, dual-use technologies, sanctioned materials, and illegal revenue streams across Iran's land borders and the Caspian Sea.”

Cooper said this builds on the naval blockade. 

"The establishment of Task Force Iron Gate reinforces the success of our ironclad blockade against Iran at sea," said Cooper. "Strengthening CENTCOM's collaboration with U.S. interagency partners will further constrain Iran's ability to finance terrorism, rebuild weapons factories, and replenish their military." 

In recent months, America's naval blockade has prevented Iran from exporting more than $25 billion in crude oil. Strict enforcement at sea continues against all ships entering or departing Iranian ports.”

This would work to stop any potential overland advanced weapons from China, for example. 

So Iran's cardboard leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, can support the Democrats and mouth off about the elections, but this is an even greater squeeze on Iran.

It Feels Like the Calm Before the Storm. Should We Expect the Unexpected?-Posted on PJ Media-By Tim O'Brien-On November 6, 2026:

Just prior to Election Day, and in the days since, President Donald Trump has been uncharacteristically subdued. Observers on all sides have written this off as resignation on Trump’s part to the next two years of a lame-duck presidency. Perhaps. But it just doesn’t feel like that to me.

To be sure, we seen a couple of Trump flamethrower posts on his Truth platform, like this one burying Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for going all RINO in the six months prior to the election, but given the magnitude of the past week's events, Trump has gone largely silent.

Meanwhile, the Democrats at all levels are taking victory laps that are so narcissistic and self-absorbed, I think Webster should add a new word to the dictionary – “Abdulsturbation.”

It’s gonna be a long six years with him, but it could be fun if we on the conservative side can deliver to him defeat after defeat.

Many have speculated that as sure as Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) can find a podium and a microphone, the left is compelled to overreach. And they’ll do so time and again for the next two years while Trump holds the veto card. A lot of wasted energy and drama on their part, but you can count on it.

Still, all of that lies ahead in 2027. Right now, I’m getting a vibe that’s not encouraging, but it’s most definitely not discouraging. Trump is being very businesslike these days. Even the ousting of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and replacing her with Stephen Miller was announced as part of a Friday night dump, the most obscure time of the week to announce news. And this is very big news.

To the extent possible, the White House is burying it. This is kind to Wiles, and that could be part of the reason. But Miller is an absolute pit bull. Selecting him for the post sends a signal all by itself, and still Trump made the disclosure very discreetly.

It reminds me of a couple different types of things I’ve worked on over the years. When I was Investor Relations director of a publicly traded firm, we had to honor blackout periods where you couldn’t say anything until you made an official announcement. Things like earnings reports, merger and acquisition news, or other material events. In practice, and to be safe, for us a blackout period was a moratorium on any interactive communication with analysts, the media, or the public.

This all is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and if you make any missteps during such a period, there could be hell to pay. Blackout periods are not usually slow periods. They are very busy times with a great deal of work going on behind the scenes. That’s partly what I’m feeling coming out of the White House right now.

The other thing that's clear is White House preparations for war political footing. If I were Trump, and I planned to pin the Democrats to the wall, Miller would be my number-one pick for chief of staff. The million-dollar question is, what is the Trump administration about to do?

We know from an agenda standpoint, getting judges confirmed in the Senate before the New Year will be one of his highest priorities. Behind the scenes, people throughout the Trump administration, including Trump himself are very likely lawyering up for the inevitable Democrat witch hunts on Capitol Hill.

But Trump and his people aren’t run-and-hide types. They’re more like stand-and-fight types. More to the point, a few of them are downright attack dogs. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, are the first three that come to mind.

Then there’s Attorney General Todd Blanche, who will be key to helping Trump deliver on his promises to root out corruption and perhaps election shenanigans, making guilty people pay the price. There has to be a sense of urgency now. There’s not much time.

I’m sure Trump is focused on all of those things. Still, the man has conditioned us to expect the unexpected. In the next couple of weeks, before Thanksgiving, I wouldn’t be surprised to be surprised by him, surprised by something no one is talking about just yet. It just feels like something is coming. Something that feels like justice.

As you are by now aware, Susie Wiles is out as Trump’s chief of staff. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about her, and I wish her the best. Her hard work and focus largely contributed to Trump’s 2024 victory. The insiders tell us that her campaign skills didn’t translate well into governing skills. If that’s the case, so be it. But we all owe Wiles our gratitude for not having to cringe at the sound of “President Harris” for four years.

Enter Stephen Miller. And the Democrats are going to start to regret winning the midterms.

His voice to them is like the voice of Sauron to quivering hobbits. And they’re already melting down. “A dangerous xenophobe,” they cry. A “reckless extremist,” they howl. “Lawyer up!” they feebly warn him. Miller is “the architect of the most barbaric, inhumane policies of this administration,” whimpers Chuck Schumer, whose own party gladly welcomes Maoists and Hamas supporters.

Sounds to me like Trump chose the right guy.

I’ve always felt Miller to be sort of a weird fusion between Donald Trump and Marco Rubio. He takes on the mud fights with the press, utilizing Trump’s no-holds-barred, in-your-face throttle, but adds just enough of Rubio’s rhetorical polish to hold command of the conversation. He makes the press look stupid every time (not that it’s difficult) by turning the tables on them with unapologetic savagery.

Miller will be much more visible than Wiles, which is a very bad thing for Democrats.

Oh, and he’s Jewish. Cue Hasan Piker’s head exploding like Rene Belloq’s when he opened the ark in Indiana Jones.

But more importantly, in choosing Miller, the president is sending a clear signal to both supporters and enemies. And his message is this:

I ain’t going nowhere, and neither is my MAGA agenda. You thought I would just slink away into the darkness? I’m tripling down. And I’m done playing Mr. Nice Guy with you lunatics.

That is exactly what Democrats need to hear. From President Trump, and from all of us.

Where Miller stands on the Iran War is not fully known. Reports over the summer described him as supportive of aggressive and hawkish action against Iran. On the other hand, post-midterm “sources” allege he has advised Trump to wind down the war. But Miller is staunchly pro-Israel, and his ancestors fled antisemitic persecution in Russia. By “winding down” the war, I doubt he means we play make-a-deal footsie with Iranians à la J.D. Vance. He probably has something more effective and permanent in mind.

And Miller was largely the face of Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration and the highly visible ICE raids. Promoting him might also be a signal that the administration intends to swing the focus back to illegal immigration. Please start with Ilhan Omar. And force the Democrats to defend more images of Latin American gangbangers waving flags of the invader.

And Miller has accurately described the Democrat Party as a “domestic terrorist organization.” Does his promotion to chief of staff sound like the actions of a defeated president?

My colleague Stephen Kruiser was correct earlier this morning: it’s time to stop moping. Get ready for the counteroffensive, because Trump just sounded the bugle. Dig in your heels and fight. This is our country.

Democrats Melt Down Over Stephen Miller, Then He Takes the Mic and Gives Them a Reason to Be Nervous!-Posted on RedState-By Rusty Weiss-On November 7, 2026:

Nowhere is it more obvious that President Trump is unwilling to compromise or rein in his efforts to secure the border and deport illegal aliens than with the promotion of Stephen Miller to Chief of Staff. The midterms won't stop that fight.

Miller has long been one of the President's staunchest allies on this issue.

On Friday, Miller delivered an impassioned defense of Donald Trump the man and made it clear he wasn't wavering despite fierce criticism from Democrat leaders. And that has to make them ever so slightly nervous.

Trump handed Miller the microphone, giving his newly elevated aide an opportunity to address supporters directly at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event in Mar-a-Lago.

Miller praised the president’s record and pledged his own commitment to the administration, while using the moment to urge Republicans to stand behind the commander-in-chief rather than retreat.

"Let me tell you, if it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now," he insisted. "This man saved America. He saved our military from collapse. He saved our economy from destruction. He saved our border from annihilation."

"This man took a bullet for us," the newly minted COS continued. "He faced down life in prison for us. He saved the Republican Party from the ash heap of history and has made it stronger, more popular, and more resilient than ever before."

Miller's comments are perhaps a necessary reminder of what the president's fight for this nation meant in saving America from the incompetence of Joe Biden and the intentional destruction of America under his autopen-wielding minions. Destruction that would have continued unabated under Kamala Harris.

It gives us a moment to pause and reflect after these last few difficult days.

"We need to stand with the man who has stood with us and this country with every fiber of his being. It is the honor of my life to be President Trump’s chief of staff, and I swear to you, and I pledge to you, Mr. President, my absolute loyalty, my unwavering commitment, and my total devotion to your success and the success of this country," Miller added.

His remarks sharply contrasted with the Democrat reaction to his appointment. Miller can deliver a speech from the heart, while Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (NY), Rep. Pramila Jayapal (WA-7), Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42), and the Democratic National Committee all invoked variations of the same description, casting Miller as an "architect" of policies they oppose.

Look at this:

• Schumer: "Stephen Miller is the architect of the most barbaric, inhumane policies of this administration."
• Jayapal: "Stephen Miller is the architect of Project 2025 ..."
• Garcia: "Stephen Miller is the architect of the unconstitutional ICE raids that have terrorized our communities ..."
• DNC: "Miller is Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff, domestic policy advisor, and the architect of Trump’s worst policies ..."

But wait, there's more!

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV): "Stephen Miller is the chief architect of Trump’s racist, cruel, and un-American campaign of terror across our country."

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Adriano Espaillat (NY-13): "To elevate the architect of those policies as White House chief of staff is a desperate and irresponsible cry for attention."

On originality, I award you -500 points. Feel free to mix in a thesaurus next time, guys and gals.

It is a good reminder of how the opposition stands shoulder to shoulder in opposing everything Trump and patriotic Americans stand for, right down to reaching for the same keywords to feed their supporters. And they call the Republicans a cult.

Miller is such an "architect" that he might as well open his own firm.

If Democrats follow Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (FL-25) lead, Republicans will win back control of both chambers of Congress in 2028.

During a recent event, she claimed Democrats are going to address the economic woes many Americans are facing by focusing on President Donald Trump.

“We are going to stop the Trump administration from taking money out of your pocket and stuffing it into the pockets of billionaires,” she said. “We are going to make sure that we stop him from dismantling our democracy. We are going to make sure that the Congress's role as a co-equal branch of government who holds an administration accountable with the system of checks and balances that our founding fathers intended, and we are going to make sure that real oversight is conducted.”

Chatter about what the new majority should do started within hours of the polls showing that Democrats won back the House and Senate. The party’s own strategists warned that the mandate was to do something about the economy.

Schultz appears to have misunderstood those warnings because she’s literally trying to pretend that stopping Trump’s agenda will magically lower grocery and gas prices. This tells us something important. Democrats who take the same approach will make the same mistake the party made leading up to the 2024 election: Fixating on the Orange Man What Is Bad™ instead of dealing with what regular people actually care about.

In May, Democrat group Third Way conducted a survey and found that voters prioritize bringing down prices over investigating and impeaching Trump and his allies.

“If they claim a gavel this fall, voters will reward Democrats for using it to focus on ending tariffs and gasoline hikes from wars, not impeachment battles,” the report concluded.

Third Way co-founder Matt Bennett told The Times that a third impeachment attempt “would send voters a message that we’re not listening.”

The 2022 midterms showed what happened the last time Democrats fixated on the president while voters were concerned about putting food on the table.

Going into the 2022 midterms, Democrats had already impeached Trump twice and put on a show nobody wanted to watch with the House Select Jan. 6 committee. 

At the time, a Morning Consult poll showed that “Compared to the hearings, voters were twice as likely to say they heard a lot about the latest U.S. inflation report from May that pegged inflation at a nearly 41-year high.”

The same polling found that the share of voters who blamed Trump for the Jan. 6 riot dropped to 56 percent in 2022, down from 63 percent in January 2021, which means the hearings failed to achieve their purpose.

To put it simply: People want to keep more of their money far more than they want to see Trump suffer. If Democrats follow this playbook, Republicans will have much more ammo to use against them in 2028.

Trump Says He Can Work With Democrats Without Insulting Them for Six Months!-Posted on RedState-By Rusty Weiss-On November 7, 2026:

President Trump says he can work with Democrats without insulting them. He just has a funny way of making that case.

In a preview of his Sunday interview with "60 Minutes," the president fielded questions about his willingness to cooperate with the opposition party following the midterms.

Ross Douthat mentioned incoming Texas Sen. James Talarico (D), noting both his interest in working with Trump on immigration and the nickname Trump had bestowed upon him.

"In the course of the campaign, you did occasionally call him TalaFreako," Douthat observed, something the president happily admitted. "Do you think you could work with the Democrats without insulting them consistently?"

Before the conversation could move much further, however, the president volunteered another less-than-flattering name for the opposition.

"Yeah, I do," Trump replied. "Sure I could. I also call many of them 'dumocrats' because their policies are bad."

“If it took six months of not insulting the Democrats to get a deal done, do you think you could do it?” Douthat pressed.

He responded, “Very easily.”

My guy. That is beyond hilarious. Trump assures him he can stop insulting Democrats, then promptly supplies another insult. Six months might be, shall we say, ambitious.

God love him.

Aside from this being classic Trump, how about somebody over at "60 Minutes" asking Democrats during their interviews if they could go six months without talking about impeachment? Or maybe six months without calling him a Nazi? Or maybe just go six months without inciting violence against the man?

But I doubt Douthat will do that anytime soon. Perhaps it didn't occur to him that being called a 'Dumocrat' is a lot less caustic of a dealbreaker than, say, consistently being labeled the second coming of Hitler.

Nah, it's the president that has to take the higher road.

To his credit, Talarico expressed a willingness to work with Trump on some matters, including immigration, after his shocking victory in Texas.

“I would love, as the next U.S. senator from Texas, to work with Donald Trump to actually fulfill some of the promises of his political project,” Talarico stated during an interview earlier this week.

“Because the promise of MAGA was that we were going to transform this government so that it delivered for the people who have been left behind, the people who have been forgotten in this country."

To be sure, he's referencing working with the president on — cue the buzzwords — "comprehensive immigration reform," which you'd have to be a dummy not to realize is code for mass amnesty.

Perhaps the story here isn't that Trump refers to him as a freak or his party as "Dumocrats," Ross. Perhaps the real story is that they refuse to stop acting in a way that causes a good chunk of people to think they are.

Political threats and outright violence seem these days to be almost exclusively the province of the Left. President Trump, though, even after the Republican Party's midterm losses, isn't having any of it. On Saturday, the president took to his Truth Social platform to draw a big, beautiful line in the sand: Any threats of violence against Republican donors or party members won't be tolerated.

The president writes:

“The threats being made by the Democrat Party against innocent Republican Donors and Party Members are absolutely unprecedented, and totally illegal. Please report them to the Department of Justice, IMMEDIATELY! If you would like, send them directly to me, your President. These SLEAZEBAGS should go to jail for what they are doing. The Senate must act, and stop being pushed around to the point of the Republican Party losing Elections, and worse! Likewise, the DOJ and House of Representatives. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Why is it always the Left making these kinds of threats? Even now, when they, candidly, just won a pretty major victory in the midterms? The threats of legal and even physical consequences aren't  just limited to black-clad nuts running around in the streets or anonymous randos on X, either. Some elected Democrats are making all manner of threats. 

“Since Election Day, two House Democrats — Reps. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., and Deborah Ross, D-N.C. — have publicly said they would support impeaching (Attorney General Todd) Blanche.

"I personally believe that the offenses of Todd Blanche demand that he be impeached and convicted and removed from office," Johnson said Thursday in an interview on SiriusXM’s "The Dan Abrams Show."

Ross went on host Dan Abrams' radio show shortly after Johnson and said she supported impeaching Blanche as well, but thought Democrats "should start with Hegseth."

And then there's this gem, which RedState's Rusty Weiss wrote about in October:

"I want young people coming out of school to say, 'Should I go work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun, I might get an opportunity.' I want them to be like, 'Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want, and so let me avoid participating in that,'" (Democrat Senator Elissa) Slotkin said. "I want that deterrence message sent."

It's difficult to see this as anything but a threat, a threat to commit lawfare in the name of political opposition, a threat to ruin the careers of young, civic-minded people who happen to belong to a political party with which the threatener disagrees.

Are not the Democrats still the party of peace? Of understanding? Of acceptance? It seems they can accept and understand anything but Republicans. They can understand and accept men in women's sports and locker rooms, they can understand and accept waves of illegal immigration, they can understand and accept turning our military into a jobs program for the mentally maladjusted — but they can't understand or accept disagreement.

Look for this kind of thing to continue over the next two years. And if the Democrats take the White House in 2028? Well, then it will be Katy bar the door — but that won't be the worst of our problems if that happens.
