Conservative since I was 15 yrs. old.

I am 71. In all my days, I have not seen a worse President than Obama. His socialist pacifist agenda plus the fact that today's Dem Party is not moderate, it is not even Progressive via Teddy Roosevelt. It is an Alinskite Party. I have been teaching political science for 49 years and to be frank, I know more about free enteprise, democracy, freedom of choice, American exceptionalism than any liberal . I applaud the Tea Party Movement and urge that all Republicans, like myself, would unite with them, Libertarians, ReaganDems, common sense Dems, Constitutionalists, and Indies to push out as many leftist Dems in Nov. God bless the USA as it urges freedom ,morality, liberty and an end to Marxist ideas whether they are in Govt., our infrastructure, our university campuses or in our own State Dept. !

LIBERTY for the People yesterday!

Thank God for the Tea Party, for giving the voice of the people a vehicle to be heard load and clear! Now maybe Congress and Obama will listen to what the vast majority are saying and run this country the way we want it, not the way they want it..........

Scott Brown had been lagging the last few weeks by double digits. We contacted his organization and was asked to help. I contacted coalition partners and collectively we number in the orders of millions. The RNC had given up on him and the Tea Party and our coalition partners spread the word and brought life into his campaign. This is what has astonished the world. It is no surprized to us that Scott Brown lead all night. He was losing throughout his campaign until patriots said no more Healthcare, Obamacare. We must not focus on just one election, but multiply this nationwide at local, county, state and federal level. We demand true Representation no more Special Interest or Cronism. We need patriots to set the pace and launch our concerts to ensure Constitutional Conservatives win the midterm elections in every political party. It will be a litmus test if these parties cannot produce a Constitutional Conservative.I was not encouraged by everything Scott Brown said last night. Healthcare should be a dead issue. It seems the transformation of Scott Brown has begun. However, if we swell the ranks of Washington with more solid Constitutional Conservatives then we will have our nation back. The Administration wants to continue their insane drive toward Healthcare, but just like Glenn Beck said last night. The Progressives are a plague on our nation. They will continue to push ahead and so will we. We have only begun. We have drained millions of dollars from the coffers of both side.We need to fund this movement so we can beat these organization at the ballot box. Our Liberty Concert is the only way we will grow financially to beat these enemies of our Liberties. Schedule your Event at contact@libertyconcert.us.

PROTEST

Yesterday we gathered together and brought attention to the abortion crisis that is here in Houston. As we gathered around the abortion super center in silent prayer, we know that the Lord is releasing something here in Houston. As a Christian I know that the will of the Lord will prevail. Hope you all have a safe and blessed day.

In honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today, it is ironic how he and Obama are polls apart. Dr. King believed in the principles of the Declaration of Independence. Better less said about what Obama is doing to it. "How in God's name, and I mean that literally, can liberals lay claim to Martin Luther King?"MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. HELD THESE TRUTHS. Liberals Beware!

They say: The Tea Party is just a bunch of old white people, running extreme fringe groups with no plan! 1. Yes, we are a bunch, except for the other 9 million members. 2. Yes, we are old, except for the millions of young people. 3. Yes, we are white, except for the millions of ethnic members. 4. Yes, we are extreme, except for the millions of main stream members. 5. Yes, we are fringe, except for the 200 million Citizens who agree with us. 6. Yes, we are groups, except when we gather, then we are one united body! 7. Yes, we have no plan, except to restore America! America was built by troublemakers like us, liberals beware!

With so much on the line, the Dems are pulling out all the stops. The SEIU busses have "rolled into town" and the ACORN "boots" are on the ground. What Sarah Said

What Sarah Said: Fri at 9:45amUnion Brothers and Sisters:Your Leadership Doesn’t Get It – You Deserve BetterIn the latest to come out of D.C.’s backroom health care deals, President Obama yesterday cut a doozy of a deal with labor union bosses. The fed’s health care plan must be so bad that even union bosses had to go to D.C. to say they wanted out. So... to keep their support for a flawed plan they got an exemption to provisions in the deal that others did not. Small business owners, our families running America’s mom & pops, did not get this deal. Ask yourself: why did union bosses get special treatment? And when did our country’s unions get on the wrong track with moves like this that hurt their good members and put them in such a bad light?Good hard-working, pro-free-market, pro-America union members should join in opposition to their union bosses’ sweetheart deal. Coming from a union background and living in a world with many union memberships among my family and friends, I know that average members will be embarrassed by their bosses’ deal, which basically only delays the heavy tax on their health care plans until 2018 and in the meantime unfairly leaves many fellow Americans in a much less “enviable” position.Union members don’t want to stick it to non-union colleagues in the private and public sector. Their union leadership is not helping them in the long run, they’re certainly not helping the rest of America, and unfortunately some union bosses are making all union members look bad, selfish, and anti-business with this Big Government backroom deal.I know that ordinary union members don’t want to hurt their fellow Americans, just as ordinary Nebraskans didn’t want to stick it to the rest of the country with a sweetheart deal on Medicaid subsidies. I urge union members to make their voices heard. Please, call your leadership – don’t put up with these special-interest politics – tell them to fight for all Americans who want common sense health care reform, not this flawed boondoggle.- Sarah Palin

About 6 months ago, a writer was watching a news program on oil and one of the Forbes Bros. was the guest.. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer; how much oil does the U.S. have in the ground?" Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together." Please read below. The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana ...... check THIS out:The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5..3 trillion.."When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.."This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves..... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years straight. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from 2006!U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the WorldStansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling? They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.. Here are the official estimates:- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia- 18-times as much oil as Iraq-21-times as much oil as Kuwait- 22-times as much oil as Iran- 500-times as much oil as Yemen- and it's all right here in the Western United States .HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY?James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists?Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices - by doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain. Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you sent this to every one in your address book.By the way...this is all true. Check it out at the link below!!!GOOGLE it, or follow this link. It will blow your mind.http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=19113 to 4.3 Billion Barrels of Technically Recoverable Oil Assessed in North Dakota and Montana’s BakkenFormation—25 Times More Than 1995 Estimate—Released: 4/10/2008 2:25:36 PMContact Information:U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological SurveyOffice of Communication119 National CenterReston, VA 20192 Main Contact 1-click interviewPhone: N/A* Read FAQs about the Bakken Formation.* Listen to a podcast with the lead scientist on this topic.Reston, VA - North Dakota and Montana have an estimated 3.0 to 4.3 billion barrels of undiscovered, technically recoverable oil in an area known as the Bakken Formation.A U.S. Geological Survey assessment, released April 10, shows a 25-fold increase in the amount of oil that can be recovered compared to the agency's 1995 estimate of 151 million barrels of oil.Related Podcasts3 to 4.3 Billion Barrels of Oil in North Dakota and Montanadownload Download directly | Detailspodcast icon itunes iconor subscribe by e-mail.Technically recoverable oil resources are those producible using currently available technology and industry practices. USGS is the only provider of publicly available estimates of undiscovered technically recoverable oil and gas resources.New geologic models applied to the Bakken Formation, advances in drilling and production technologies, and recent oil discoveries have resulted in these substantially larger technically recoverable oil volumes. About 105 million barrels of oil were produced from the Bakken Formation by the end of 2007.The USGS Bakken study was undertaken as part of a nationwide project assessing domestic petroleum basins using standardized methodology and protocol as required by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 2000.The Bakken Formation estimate is larger than all other current USGS oil assessments of the lower 48 states and is the largest "continuous" oil accumulation ever assessed by the USGS. A "continuous" oil accumulation means that the oil resource is dispersed throughout a geologic formation rather than existing as discrete, localized occurrences. The next largest "continuous" oil accumulation in the U.S. is in the Austin Chalk of Texas and Louisiana, with an undiscovered estimate of 1.0 billions of barrels of technically recoverable oil."It is clear that the Bakken formation contains a significant amount of oil - the question is how much of that oil is recoverable using today's technology?" said Senator Byron Dorgan, of North Dakota. "To get an answer to this important question, I requested that the U.S. Geological Survey complete this study, which will provide an up-to-date estimate on the amount of technically recoverable oil resources in the Bakken Shale formation."The USGS estimate of 3.0 to 4.3 billion barrels of technically recoverable oil has a mean value of 3.65 billion barrels. Scientists conducted detailed studies in stratigraphy and structural geology and the modeling of petroleum geochemistry. They also combined their findings with historical exploration and production analyses to determine the undiscovered, technically recoverable oil estimates.USGS worked with the North Dakota Geological Survey, a number of petroleum industry companies and independents, universities and other experts to develop a geological understanding of the Bakken Formation. These groups provided critical information and feedback on geological and engineering concepts important to building the geologic and production models used in the assessment.Five continuous assessment units (AU) were identified and assessed in the Bakken Formation of North Dakota and Montana - the Elm Coulee-Billings Nose AU, the Central Basin-Poplar Dome AU, the Nesson-Little Knife Structural AU, the Eastern Expulsion Threshold AU, and the Northwest Expulsion Threshold AU.At the time of the assessment, a limited number of wells have produced oil from three of the assessments units in Central Basin-Poplar Dome, Eastern Expulsion Threshold, and Northwest Expulsion Threshold. The Elm Coulee oil field in Montana, discovered in 2000, has produced about 65 million barrels of the 105 million barrels of oil recovered from the Bakken Formation. Results of the assessment can be found at http://energy.usgs.gov.For a podcast interview with scientists about the Bakken Formation, listen to episode 38 of CoreCast at http://www.usgs.gov/corecast/.

Where Did That Idea Go?

We tend to have a certain "all or nothing" approach within our culture, especially with regards to those we call heroes. This is unfortunate because it changes one of the most important aspects of people that I want to look up to: they did astonishing things even though they are human. When we start thinking that a person did superhuman things because he or she is superhuman we stop idealizing and start worshiping. When this happens, unpleasant facts and realities need to be shunned lest they potentially tarnish the reputation of this newly created deity and the discussion devolves into a flurry of accusations and counter-accusations. The important part, that there was a person who did great things while being human, filled with faults and failings, loses the real power for inspiration. We are complicated beings, none either all good or all bad so it is in overcoming the limitations that we should find the admirable, not in the manufactured predestination.Continued . . .

Shooting oneself in the foot?

Is TeaParty.org shooting themselves in the foot? I think so. And I have seen such actions destroy national unity in groups such as this in the past. The group's national convention in February could have proven to be a wonderful opportunity to bring our different individual groups together, but instead, it is likely to divide us worse than what the liberals in this country would do if they have their way.Raising the cost of the convention beyond the level the average blue-collar American can afford and particularly to restrict the keynote speaker to "leadership figures" (translation to the average tea party attendee - those with money and influence) is to slap the majority of those responsible for the existence of the organization right in the teeth.I know that Sarah Palin has some heavy overhead to pay on her way to whereever she is going, but I find it hard to believe that she would not have cut her fee to speak before this group. If she would not, perhaps we need to look again at her motivations. If it is not Sarah's fee that is jacking up the price of admission, then perhaps Mr. Robertson should re-examine his motives. Raise funds thru voluntary giving for that purpose. Don't try to make the organization rich or restrict numbers at a particular event by pricing it out of people's reach. But in any event, if you want grass-roots, you cannot charge hot-house orchid prices and expect those who you shut out to be happy about it. It will hurt the group and reduce its impact in the coming elections season. Some more thought about that is in order. Hope it isn't too late to prevent lasting damage.

Is Health Care By The Government Good Or Bad?

A view of the Health Care from the eyes of a 18 year old ConservativeIs Health Care By The Government Good Or Bad?It will create 110 to 120 new government agencies, (raising government spending). Guess some one will go backto work that we have to pay for or the government has to borrow to pay for. They are going to make Medicare solvent for a least the next 9 years by cutting waste, fraud, and abuse by 1/2 billion dollars from this program If there is so much waste, fraud and abuse in this program why haven't they found this before now?Other cuts to pay for their new program include 134.7 billion from the hospitals, 7.7 billion from hospice, 14.6 billion from nursing homes, 120 billion from medicare advantage (ARRP will be glad about this one, they can sell more meda-gap plans), 12.1 billion from home health. Taxes on anything to do with the medical field. Every Citizen is required to purchase insurance or you will be fined or you could go to jail, IRS going to oversee. does this sound like we have freedom of choice? The HHS is given the power to define benefits and write all regulations on benefits received They are going to tell Insurance Companies what they are to cover and tell us what coverage we have to take. If they put more people into Medicaid. State budgets will increase What about special State deals some states received? Are Insurance premiums going up? Probably. What are we going to get when they combine the to deals? If HHS is given this UnConstitutional power to regulate benefits then what else can it regulate? What about how much we exercise we need. what food you need to eat, how to raise you children, what kind of medical treatment we need or can have, if we are to fat, and the list goes on. Pretty scary isn't it?What about listing how many guns or ammo we have? (Guess what that is in the bill)Just think about what passing the Health Care Bill that is in the House & Senate can lead to, the sky is the limit. If you went this kind of life then the UK, or Red China because that is where we are headed. as a FREE people we do not want this here in America. yes we need health care reform but i think that is best left to the States as this is not a Federal Government Power. Or Constitution "WE THE PEOPLE" we the people retain all rights that our Constitution does not give to the Federal Government or the states . Our Government was given limited Powers, for a reason, to protect the people from an oppressive Government. Our Forefathers knew what it meant to live under a oppressive Government and they fought hard to break away and give us Freedom today."I am American" is not a collection of words it is the embodiment of an idea and we the people give it power, but some where along the way we have forgotten that. Let us declare the cause that united us. Today we find ourselves back in 1776. The abuse being perpetrated by our government are just as obvious now as they were then, but instead of rising up with a collective voice we sit idly by and watch our Hard-Won Freedom slowly take away most of our rights dissolve into outright corruptions as Government slowly takes away most of out rights.WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!! We need to fight for out Rights and our Country, TELL Congress They CAN'T do this because we have a CONSTITUTION that protects us from abuse and protects out rights. Lets not lose them, SAND UP SPEAK OUT, for NOW IS THE TIME.....Sarah McKennaCrockett Texas
