High wire for Walker -  Scott Walker heads to Iowa the GOP frontrunner in the state. As he prepares to launch his 2016 bid the Wisconsin governor is walking a tightrope: facing budget battles and potential legal pitfalls at home while living up to the high expectations that go with leading the pack. If he can avoid being gutted by home state travails, ala Christie, Walker stands a good chance of generating another bounce form Iowa’s conservative caucus-goers. -Fox News

COL. CROCKETT WOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER
It should go without saying that, “chasing bears through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet is strongly not advised,” but  the North Adams, Mass. police want citizens to take the warning seriously. In a Facebook post the department notes the incident “really did happen,” and that, “the hatchet man was taken into protective custody due to his incapacitation from the consumption of alcoholic beverage.”  The post encouraged residents to keep their distance from bears rather than, “going all Davy Crockett chasing it through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet.” The department’s warning has spurred its own clothing line. Keith Bona, owner of Berkshire Emporium and Antiques, is producing T-shirts that read “Don't go all Davy Crockett” on the front and “NAPD Notice: Chasing bears through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet is strongly not advised” on the back.

DHS Report Undercuts nObama's Amnesty Rationale
While Barack nObama's amnesty actions are held up in court, the administration has argued nObama's power grab is simply prosecutorial discretion and a prioritization of enforcement. Specifically, nObama's Justice Department says it can "focus limited resources on higher priority aliens" who pose "threats to national security, border security, and public safety." That's a convenient lie, however, as revealed in a recent report from DHS Inspector General John Roth: "DHS uses prosecutorial discretion in deciding to what extent it will enforce immigration laws, including whether to place aliens in or take them out of the removal process. However, the Department does not collect and analyze data on the use of prosecutorial discretion to fully assess its current immigration enforcement activities and to develop future policy. ... As a result, DHS may not be using its significant investment in immigration enforcement as efficiently as possible. The Department may also be missing opportunities to strengthen its ability to remove aliens who pose a threat to national security and public safety."
In other words, DHS isn't collecting the information needed to even assure that it's doing what nObama claims is a "priority" — removing dangerous aliens. We're pretty sure the Fifth Circuit Court would find this report relevant as it considers the legality of nObama's actions. More...  -The Patriot Post

It Will Be Years Before Tsarnaev Pays for His Crimes
On Friday, a Boston jury condemned Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombers, to death by lethal injection for detonating his pressure-cooker bomb that killed four people. Now, the years of legal red tape begins — the appeals, the stays, the years of waiting. Death is the most just punishment society can mete out to this jihadi; life in prison wouldn't have been enough. Since 1988, the federal government has sentenced 80 people to death, yet only three have received their penalty. Jazz Shaw at Hot Air notes, "But now, this very young terrorist will awaken each day and go to bed each night counting the days he has left, looking at a life far shorter than any his less heinous peers envision. Will the next appeal be approved? Will he be granted a stay? Can he hang on to precious life, no matter how lonely and morbid, for just a little longer before he faces the darkness of eternity?" Now, Tsarnaev's defense team will test every procedure of the trial, trying to find a crack that will overturn his sentence. Boston.com says his defense will most likely make issue that the trial was not held outside Boston, and that some of the evidence was sealed for the sake of national security. More... -The Patriot Post

 Ramadi Falls to ISIL
Using car bombs and suicide bombers, ISIL launched an attack Sunday that over ran the Iraqi city of Ramadi, capital of the Anbar province and once home to 850,000 people. The Iraqi government was so desperate to hold the city that it called up Shiite militias backed by Iran, a move the nObama administration discourages because it heightens the chance of sectarian war. However, the Pentagon is spinning the defeat, saying the capture of Ramadi is little more than a propaganda victory for ISIL. Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said, "ISIL seems to have the advantage. They will use this for their own propaganda purposes, but it doesn't give them a significant tactical advantage." But nObama's former ambassador to Iraq has a different take. James Jeffrey told Bloomberg, "It's a desperate situation in Ramadi. … We can't assume time is on our side. It isn't. My feeling is something needs to happen quickly or we're going to lose all of Anbar." On Saturday, the Pentagon announced that U.S. Special Forces killed a senior ISIL leader who controlled the group's moneymaking schemes. While the Pentagon is taking it on the chin for nObama's failed military strategy, silent professionals are doing their jobs.   -The Patriot Post

McCon-nell, RINOs Join Comrade nObama In TPP
(rickwells.us) - Senate Majority “leader” Mitch McCon-nell (R-KY) described some of the ridiculous rhetoric that was being spouted in regards to the top secret trade deal that won’t be revealed until after it’s too late to do anything about it... He was pointing towards Democrats concerned that the process is being prostituted by McCon-nell and his cohorts by hiding the contents of a deal they intend to vote on as classified. The true ridiculous rhetoric comes not from the Democrats of which McCon-nell was speaking, but from his like-minded comrade in crime, Hussein nObama, and his own fellow sellout RINOs who are serving their corporate masters to the detriment of the United States and the American people.       http://rickwells.us/mob-rule-mcconnell-fellow-rinos-join-comrade-obama-in-shoving-tpp-down-the-throats-of-america/

hanoi Kerry Announces Next Step In Destruction Of America
(rickwells.us) - Appearing as elated as a new groom in a wedding gazebo, the traitor who sits atop America’s State Department made the official announcement in Beijing yesterday... America is committing economic suicide by “ending any funding” of coal-fired power plants, adding the second of our most plentiful and most reliable resources to the American energy endangered species list. Coal joins its equally vital counterpart, oil, as both an economic boom opportunity missed and a method of national sustenance denied. The American people are, as a whole, meekly accepting their fates as “powerless victims” of the anti-American criminals who are destroying this nation. The celebratory ceremony marking our demise, a wake of sorts, was appropriately held in what will soon be the new capital of world economic and military might, China. Joining the destructive globalist traitor hanoi John Kerry in the announcement was the representative of the cabal’s designated victor in this orchestrated surrender, China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi.        http://rickwells.us/kerry-announces-next-step-in-orchestrated-destruction-of-america-in-his-allies-capital-beijing/

nObama Excluding Existing Handouts From Poverty Calculations
(rickwells.us) - nObama started this weekly address off in an unusual manner, by actually telling the truth. At least for a portion of his opening sentence, but it only serves to set up the lie that he finishes with. nObama said... “Everything we’ve done over the last six years has been in pursuit of one overarching goal,” and had he finished that sentence by stating that the pursuit was the end of our nation as we know it by transforming us into a tyrannical Marxist dictatorship, he would have made history by actually telling the truth. Instead, he finished it off with a lie, claiming that the pursuit was, “creating opportunity for all.” He then goes into a false narrative based upon false perception that people in the United States are immobile and when there is no opportunity in their local community, they’re stuck, and they just have to accept their fate. Mobility, the movement to America and then westward was a part of what made this country great. A willingness to wallow in squalor only recently, with the insertion of socialism in the twentieth century, became the criteria for career as a dependent of the government, courtesy of the socialist Democrats.        http://rickwells.us/fuzzy-math-obama-excluding-existing-handouts-from-poverty-calculations-to-justify-more-redistribution/

Abbas to Syria's Palestinian Refugees: Go to Israel or 'Die in Syria'
(Alexander H. Joffe & Asaf Romirowsky) - Faced with the suffering of their own people, the Palestinians' leadership recently decided not to help... Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas rejected a deal with Israel brokered by the United Nations that would allow Palestinian refugees living in Syria to resettle in the West Bank and Gaza. Abbas stated unequivocally that "we rejected that and said it's better they die in Syria than give up their right of return." The Palestine Liberation Organization has also ruled out any military action to help the 18,000 or more refugees who are trapped in the Yarmouk camp near Damascus. Abbas's cold-blooded response reveals something fundamental about Palestinian society and identity. Far more than territory, the key Israeli-Palestinian issue is the idea of a Palestinian "right of return"—the belief in a legal and moral right of Palestinian refugees, and more importantly their descendants from around the world, to return to ancestral homes in [Israel's part of] what was once Mandatory Palestine. This belief is so vital to Palestinian national identity that their leaders would rather they die than give it up and have a chance to live.        http://www.meforum.org/5245/abbas-refugees-syria

UN Has Invaded 190 American Cities with Covert and Islamic Jihadists
(Dave Hodges) - The United States is the equivalent of a four-letter word in the Middle East. Many people in that region of the world detest and loathe our very existence. Why? It's because our government... on behalf of the bankers and the oil companies, have plundered their resources, manipulated their governments, killed millions of Muslims without justification as the U.S. has invaded the region three times in recent history. The CIA may be responsible for funding most terrorism in the Middle East, but there is no shortage of willing participants to join such organizations as al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and now the latest threat, ISIS. In short, the people in the Middle East hate America's guts. Yet, the nObama administration is placing hundreds of communities at risk by transplanting the victims of United States tyranny right into American backyards without a thought or care to the welfare of the citizens of this country. This article addresses the insanity and/or the treasonous nature of this issue.       http://freedomoutpost.com/2015/05/un-has-invaded-190-american-cities-with-covert-and-unscreened-islamic-jihadists/

Young Feminists NOT Excited by Clinton Run
(Molly Mirhashem) - Clinton was an early feminist icon for many women of Svokos's generation—long before they even began to think of themselves as feminists... Svokos, who's now 23 and a fellow at The Huffington Post, grew up with parents who called themselves feminists and practiced gender equality in the house, balancing household responsibilities and encouraging Svokos and her two sisters to "fight for what we deserved." Mostly, she says, feminism meant "girl power" to her—and that meant, in turn, rooting for Clinton when she made her first run for the presidency in 2008. Svokos was in high school then, and her ideas about feminism were still pretty simple; she admired Clinton "because she was a woman, rather than knowing much about what she stood for." Eight years later, Svokos's notion of feminism has evolved—and the prospect of Hilly Clinton becoming president no longer fills her with unbridled excitement. Svokos says her ideas about feminism began to change when she studied economics at Columbia University, beginning in 2010.       http://americanactionnews.com/articles/young-feminists-not-fired-up

Three Trees: A Serious Warning to America
(Michael Bresciani) - Rabbi Jonathan Cahn author of ‘The Harbinger’ introduced the parallel between the prophecies of Isaiah and the raising of the Erez tree in place of the fallen Sycamore after the events of 9/11... In the spring of 2014 even the Erez tree was completely removed and Cahn has explained that this means that America is not just in decline, but is facing an impending judgment. Few would dare to argue with Cahn’s declaration due to the rapidly changing social climate in America. Pop-culture trends are quickly replacing old moral standards and what was once unmentionable is now becoming daily occurrence. Yet, there are two remaining trees that must be reckoned with, one is eternal and will never be removed from the course of human history throughout time and eternity. The other tree is
passing and will be the signal of a brief time when America and the entire world will bravely, howbeit, foolishly enter what Barack nObama has called “Change we can believe in.”        http://barbwire.com/2015/05/18/three-trees-a-serious-warning-to-america/

Liz Cheney Flips Media’s Script on Iraq War
(Fuzzy Slippers) - There has been a lot of hand-wringing over Jeb Bush’s seeming lack of readiness for a presidential campaign in the wake of his apparent inability to articulate a coherent response to Megyn Kelly’s Iraq War hypothetical question... After days of hedging and backpedaling, Jeb finally landed on the “right” answer: “no, knowing what we know now, I would not have invaded Iraq.”  It shouldn’t have taken that long or that many tries because, as Charles Krauthammer notes in Friday’s Special Report panel, the question answers itself:       http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/05/liz-cheney-flips-medias-script-on-iraq-war/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LegalInsurrection+%28Le%C2%B7gal+In%C2%B7sur%C2%B7rec%C2%B7tion%29

(Tom Tillison) - Islamic State militants may have gotten just what they have been clamoring for all these months in a daring raid by U.S. special forces... And they may not be quite as eager for another taste. As more details emerge about the successful raid into eastern Syria Saturday that killed a key ISIS leader, it appears the fighting culminated in hand-to-hand combat, according to Fox News foreign correspondent John Cuddy.  Montana’s Largest Newspaper Admits “We Were Wrong” on nObama
(fixthisnation.com) - After endorsing him for President in 2008, the Billings-based Gazette – Montana’s largest newspaper – has admitted that they were off the mark in supporting Barack nObama and have been proven wrong by the last six years of history... As part of a June 27th editorial, the paper said, “Sometimes, you have to admit you’re wrong. And, we were wrong.” An unusual move for a newspaper to make, the Gazette’s editors felt they had no choice but to apologize for endorsing a young candidate who has been at the center of several scandals (Benghazi, the IRS, Iraq) as well as a President who has done little to make progress on his most important campaign promises. The latter is actually great news for anyone who doesn’t want to see the country slide into a liberal swamp, but it’s understandable that the Gazette would not see things this way. Even the right’s most prominent columnists rarely wrap nObama’s failures in such a succinct bow. The paper cites the NSA spying controversy, the Bergdahl fiasco, the VA scandal, the lack of promised transparency, and the failures in Iraq as the reasons for withdrawing support. Its better late then never.     http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/montanas-largest-newspaper-admits-we-were-wrong-on-obama/

(tommclaughlin.blogspot.com/) - Most of us remember scenes in western movies in which agun hand forces a sodbuster to dance by shooting at the ground near the reluctant dancer’s feet. That’s what comes to mind when I see American citizens who don’t believe there’s any such thing as same-sex “marriage,” but are forced to dance to whatever tune homosexual activists wish to play.
.
.
Don’t want to rent out your B&B for a lesbian wedding in Vermont because you’re Roman Catholic and believe homosexual acts are sinful? Too bad. You’re going to dance, sucker, like it or not. You may not be shot at, but you’ll be forced to pay $30,000 to settle a lawsuit by the ACLU and the State of Vermont.
.
Dance, sucker! Dance!

Don’t want to make floral arrangements to celebrate two men “marrying” each other? Seventy-year-old Christian grandmother Barronelle Stutzman was sued by the State of Washington. "The message of these rulings is unmistakable: The government will bring about your personal and professional ruin if you don't help celebrate same-sex marriage," said Kristen Waggoner, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, who argued before the court in December. It’s not like the men couldn’t find a gay florist to arrange their flowers. They’re about as ubiquitous as gay hairdressers or interior decorators. They singled out the old grandmother to exercise power.
. Dance, sucker! Dance! .
Don’t want to photograph a lesbian “wedding”? You’re a bigot and you’re going to be sued the way Elane Photography in New Mexico was. The owners, Jonathan and Elaine Huguenin, lost their appeal and had to pay too.  Well, by now you’re perhaps realizing that I could go on and on citing cases of Americans who refused to help celebrate something that violated their religion, their conscience, as well as natural law and historical precedent going back for millennia. If they refuse to dance they lose their businesses and a lot of money.

I can’t help wondering if some of the many finding themselves in the crosshairs of the LGBTQ Community ever voted for “gay rights” referenda in their individual states. Do they regret those votes now that they’re finding themselves targets of those laws? They seemed so benign when they were first proposed, but the fangs hidden from voters during the “equal rights” campaigns are now being bared.
.

.
Remember those 20th century Psychology and Sociology classes in which instructors insisted there were no differences between the sexes other than the obvious physical ones? Maybe you tried to be open-minded to that feminist claptrap while you were a student. Well, the “T” in LGBTQ means “Transgendered,” and that means a man who thinks he’s a woman can force you to accept him in the locker room at your health club. You have to call him “her” too or be dismissed from the club.
.
.
Does all this sound like it’s getting to be too much? You didn’t think it would ever get this bad? Well, that’s just tough. You better get your mind right, because like the Strother Martin character in “Cool Hand Luke,” the LGBTQ Community speaks as one voice saying: “I can be a good guy, or I can be one real mean sum-bitch. It’s up to you. It’s all up to you.” You don’t like it? You spend a night in the box.
.
.
Here in the 21st century though, “the box” is called “Sensitivity Training.” Governor Moonbeam Jerry Brown recently signed a law requiring all California health care providers to undergo LGBT Sensitivity Training because, as brietbart.com wrote: “Jason Galisatus, a gay-rights activist for the Peninsula region of San Francisco claims that gay senior citizens are being drawn back into the closet when dealing with insensitive hospital staff.” Better to brainwash tens of thousands of doctors and nurses at taxpayer expense than have one homosexual feel uncomfortable telling an “insensitive” doctor about his behavior in a gay bathhouse.

You think what is in a mother’s womb is an unborn baby? Well, you better get your mind right. It’s just a clump of cells. You better not think it’s a human life or when Hilly Clinton becomes president, she’ll force you to spend a night in the box. Speaking last month at the “Women in the World Summit” she said: “Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care…”
.

.
Those last three words are Hilly’s euphemism for abortion because she obviously considers pregnancy a disease. Speaking of people like me who believe dismembering a baby in its mother’s womb is morally wrong, she continued: “…And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”
.

Got that? You better change your deep-seated religious beliefs if she doesn’t like them, because President Hilly could be a real mean sum-bitch.

PRESS GOBBLES UP HILLY’S SPAM CAMPAIGN
The Clinton campaign is like a funhouse mirror version the nObama White House. Tightly controlled press access has become no press access. Opaque accountability has become concrete-thick secrecy. Augmenting traditional public interactions with, um, unconventional outreach has become a public persona that is just a Spam loaf of stagy interactions. With the help of a cadre of nObama insiders who pioneered the style, Hilly Clinton is on an expedition into the deep space of an airless, utterly contrived campaign. And guess what? It’s working. She and her team are probably delighted in their ability to run for president without actually running and without having to play by the rules (again).
Consider how well it’s working for the presumptive Democratic nominee: She is way out of the mainstream on abortion but issues a statement condemning Republicans for passing a popular a late-term ban on elective abortions – no questions asked of her. She has not complied with the bipartisan request of the Benghazi committee – no questions asked of her. A news anchor who grilled her accuser on using her family foundation to funnel payola is found to be a donor to the foundation – no questions asked of her. She actually voted for the Iraq war that Jeb Bush is getting pelted with clods over – no questions asked of her. She is likely to be the first female major party nominee in American history and yet the current president of her own party is accused of sexism against a prominent senator and potential rival -- no questions asked of her. And on and on and on…
We arrived at the point where a major party candidate soaked in scandals can flout accountability point not because Hilly Clinton is an especially gifted politician (she isn’t) or because she’s oligarch rich (others have been before her) or even because she is a Democrat (no one has even gotten a free pass this size before) but mostly because she is sewing ground plowed already by Barack nObama. The press was at most sulky and at worst codependent about getting locked out, knocked down, lied to and generally ignored by the nObama White House. Now we see what is usually true in politics: The next round is worse. nObama ignored campaign finance norms; Bush is circumventing the rules completely. Bush’s brother ran a somewhat negative re-election campaign of defining a challenger as unfit for command; nObama ran an overwhelmingly negative campaign immolating his challenger’s character. The pendulum only swings one way.
There is no appropriate story about Clinton’s candidacy to cover until she has answered the questions that relate to her fitness for office. It is, in that sense, the only story. Discussing her canned campaign events through any prism other than the scandals that she has flatly refused to address is an invitation to further ignominy. If you go and give her mainstream coverage of her talking points to augment store-bought “messaging” while allowing her to refuse to be accountable, what do you think will happen next? Which direction did nObama go? Certainly not toward accountability and access. For members of a profession that is on the brink of being replaced by “content” synthesizers, those in the political press are certainly not making a very strong argument for their continued necessity.  -Fox News

Fox News: “President nObama does not appear to be drawing any more red lines with Syria’s Bashar Assad amid allegations that his regime has returned to using chemical weapons… On Thursday, nObama asserted that it has been verified that the regime already gave up its chemical weapons. However, chlorine gas – which Assad’s government is now accused of using -- was not a part of that agreement. nObama gave a nuanced response Thursday, noting that chlorine isn't an internationally banned chemical weapon. However, he said, ‘when it is used in this fashion, [it] can be considered a prohibited use of that particular chemical. And so we're working with the international community to investigate that. Last week, others in nObama’s administration called for an immediate U.N. investigation into the ‘abhorrent acts’ – without saying what, if any, punishment Assad might face if formally blamed for the string of alleged chlorine gas attacks.”

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE   Riley B. King, known and loved the world over as “B.B.,” died Thursday in Las Vegas at age 89. One of the greatest guitarists and blues musicians of all-time, King was born on a cotton plantation outside of Itta Bena, Miss. in 1925. He picked up his stage name as a 20-year-old radio disc jockey and singer in Memphis as “the Beale Street Blues Boy,” later just “B.B.” If you don’t know King from before his mainstream revival (and role as commercial pitchman) following his performance on U2’s 1988 blues/rock/gospel hit “When Love Comes to Town,” you should watch King perform “Three O’Clock Blues,” which was his first hit in 1951 and an enduring live standard. It’s a borrowed blues number King imbues with the country twang and sophisticated jazz arrangement that were the hallmarks of his style.
You’ll also get to see how he seems to be electrified by the current flowing through his guitar. Many great musicians play in such a way that their instruments seem to be extensions of themselves. But King played like a man in the ecstatic thrall of his instrument. King exclusively played Gibson guitars, which he always called “Lucille.” King explained the origin of the name to audiences in an ode: “I was over in Twist, Arkansas … One night the guys started a brawl, started brawling, you know what I mean. The guy that was mad with his old lady, when she fell over on this gas tank that was burning for heat, the gas ran all over the floor. And when the gas ran all over the floor, the building caught on fire and almost burned me up…the lady who started the brawl that night was named Lucille.”

Taxpayer Funded Jobs, Job Training and Reintegration For ISIS
(rickwells.us) - As if the misguided pandering to terrorists by the communist leadership in America isn’t bizarre and absolutely insane enough, there’s another country that has left them completely in the dust when it comes to rewarding intolerable behavior... Instead of pursuing and incarcerating their citizens who have chosen to fight as part of ISIS against the rational part of the world’s population, the government of Sweden is joining them in their jihad against intelligence and reason by offering job training, jobs and the reintegration into society. It’s a package that not even their soldiers fighting ISIS get upon their return and the proposal is getting some serious debate in the halls of Sweden’s leadership. As Paul Joseph Watson says in the closing, stick a fork in Sweden, they’re done. We just need to learn from their mistakes, as he so succinctly points out, “what happens when governments become afflicted with the mental disorder of extreme liberalism.”        http://rickwells.us/taxpayer-funded-jobs-job-training-and-reintegration-for-isis-fighters-one-nation-might-be-that-stupid/

ISIS terrorists are being smuggled into Europe by posing as refugees
(themuslimissue.wordpress.com) - The EU has tied the hands of the Italian coast guards who initially (rightfully) wanted to down ships trying to trespass onto Italian waters. Instead they were forced to allow them on shores... After 24 hours they are let fee to roam and half of all smuggled terrorists disappear into the country and into Europe. Its due to EU laws terrorists have such an easy time starting hate schools (with government funding), bringing in more illegals, expanding terrorism, implementing sharia laws. The decision makers in the European Union need to be made legally liable for terrorism and arrested and jailed for conspiracy to terrorize when the next bomb shred innocent children, women and men who never asked for Muslim immigration.        https://themuslimissue.wordpress.com/2015/05/17/libyan-security-adviser-isis-terrorists-are-being-smuggled-into-europe-by-posing-as-refugees/

Iranian Ayatollah: We ‘Will Never Allow’ Inspections of Nuke Sites
(gopthedailydose.com) - Iran will never allow Western powers or the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to inspect Tehran’s military sites as part of a final agreement with the P5+1 world powers... Iran’s Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani said Friday in an address to Tehran University students. He said that the West, and particularly the United States, “are hallucinating” if they think that Iran would allow inspection of its military apparatus, according to Iran’s state-controlled Fars News agency. Those who wish for Iran to recognize the State of Israel as part of a final agreement should “bury their dreams,” the Ayatollah added.       http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/05/17/iranian-ayatollah-we-will-never-allow-inspections-of-nuke-sites/

Saudi Rapist Says Sex Offender Program is Against His Religion
(Daniel Greenfield) - Rape however isn’t against his religion. Homaidan al-Turki’s entire defense strategy from the beginning was Islam. The member of a prominent Saudi family claimed that the prosecution was Islamophobic... “We are Muslim. We are different. The state has criminalized these basic Muslim behaviors. Attacking traditional Muslim behaviors is a focal point of the prosecution.” He had a point, because the behavior he was charged with was commonplace back in Saudi Arabia. Once in prison, the Saudis tried to get him transferred/released back home, but public outrage stopped that at least temporarily.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/dgreenfield/saudi-rapist-in-colorado-says-sex-offender-program-is-against-his-religion/

Just Say No to Congressional Slush Funds
(Michael Greibrok) - Realizing spending was getting out of hand, Congress passed the 2011 Budget Control Act to cap spending on both defense and nondefense discretionary spending... However, Congress being Congress, they have become adept at finding ways to increase spending beyond the caps without technically going above the caps. One of the ways Congress is doing this is by increasing funding for overseas contingency operations (OCO). This alternative form of defense funding started in 2001 to provide emergency supplemental funds to help fight the War on Terror. These funds were originally designed to be used for true emergencies, such as supporting combat missions or securing embassies, but as major combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan have wound down, we have not seen a corresponding decrease in OCO funding.       http://www.freedomworks.org/content/just-say-no-congressional-slush-funds

Beware of the Muslim Brotherhood, expert warns
(Ian Macleod) - Authorities should be concerned about the unseen hand of the Muslim Brotherhood gripping sections of Canada's diverse Muslim community, says a U.S. security expert... The movement has planted its revivalist interpretation of Islam, political ideology and activism among some Muslims here and sees itself as a minder and broker between them and the rest of society, Lorenzo Vidino, who specializes in Islamism and political violence, told the Senate's national security committee recently. "They basically aim to be the gatekeepers to Muslim communities, that whenever politicians, governments or the media try to get the Muslim voice, if there were such a thing, they would go through them, sort of the self‑appointed leaders of Muslim communities," he said.       http://www.investigativeproject.org/4852/beware-of-the-muslim-brotherhood-expert-warns

How did $17 million disappear from Clinton Foundation?
(Jerome R. Corsi) - Before Hilly Clinton completed her first year as President nObama’s secretary of state, Wall Street analyst and investor Charles Ortel calculates $17 million went missing from Clinton Foundation financial reports... “The Clinton Foundation and the nObama Administration presented to the public a false narrative, namely that when Hilly became Secretary of State, the Clinton Foundation had to guard against conflicts of interest,” Ortel explained in a second report he made available to WND exclusively before publication. Ortel says the public record appears to confirm that the Clinton Foundation’s various components were reported as one consolidated entity to the IRS, despite the foundation’s claim that appropriate changes were made when Hilly Clinton became secretary of state.   http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/how-did-17-million-disappear-from-clinton-foundation/

 A Tremor in Iranian Kurdistan
(Jonathan Spyer) - The events this week in the Mahabad area of Iran's Western Azerbaijan province cast light on the difficult situation faced by one of the region's least-noticed minorities – the Kurds of Iran... The apparent attempt by an intelligence officer in Mahabad to rape an Iranian-Kurdish hotel worker, 25-year-old Farinaz Khosrawani, and the latter's subsequent suicide by jumping from a fourth-floor window, led to furious protests by Kurds in both Mahabad and beyond. The hotel was burned by protesters; authorities responded heavy-handedly, using rubber bullets and tear gas. There is currently a media and social media blackout from the area, but word-of-mouth reports suggest the situation remains tense.       http://www.meforum.org/5244/tremor-iranian-kurdistan

nObama Issues Despicable Command To Churches Across America
(gopthedailydose.com) - nObama has shown that he has a strong anti-Christian agenda during his six years in office, and now he’s stepping up his game... nObama surprisingly actually admitted that he might sound “self-interested” considering his past disagreements with Christians about abortion and gay marriage. However, he also said he is sure that churches will get more members if they embrace alternative lifestyles. “Nobody has shown that better than Pope Francis, who I think has been transformative just through the sincerity and insistence that this is vital to who we are, this is vital to following what Jesus Christ our Savior talked about,” he explained. Israel's peace fantasists in action
Caroline B. Glick
.

.      (jewishworldreview.com) - In a clear vote of no-confidence in US President Barack nObama's leadership, Saudi King Salman led several Arab leaders in blowing off nObama's Camp David summit this week. The summit is meant to compensate the Sunni Arabs for nObama's nuclear deal with Iran.
.
Salman's decision is further proof that US-Saudi relations have jumped the tracks. For 70 years the Saudis subcontracted their national security to the US military. Deals were closed with a wink and a nod. That's all over now.
.
nObama has destroyed Washington's credibility. Salman views its gentleman's agreements as worthless. All he wants now is military hardware. And for that, he can send a stand-in.
.
For 70 years the Saudis have played a double game, maintaining strategic alliances both with the liberal West and the most reactionary forces in the Islamic world. The Saudis pocketed petrodollars from America and Europe and transferred them to terrorists and jihadist preachers in mosques in the US, Europe and worldwide.
.
Although for outsiders the worldview of the theocracy governing Saudi Arabia seems all but identical to the worldview of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Saudis consider the Brotherhood a mortal foe. The Saudis claim that their tribal, top-down regime is the genuine expression of Islam. The Brotherhood's populist, grassroots organization rejects their legitimacy.
.
And so, since the Arab revolutionary wave began in late 2010, the Saudis opposed the empowerment of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Saudis are the primary bankrollers of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's regime.
.
During Operation Protective Edge last summer, the Saudis sided with Sisi and Israel against Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and its Turkish and Qatari state sponsors. Although Saudi Arabia had previously been a major funder of Hamas, that backing ended in 2005 when, following Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, Hamas forged strategic ties with Iran.
.
For the past five years, the Saudis worked against both the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran. But in recent months they began reconsidering their two war approach.
.
With the Iranian-backed Houthis' takeover of Yemen and the US's conclusion of its framework nuclear deal with Iran, the Saudis apparently determined that weakening Iran takes precedence over fighting the Brotherhood. With its Houthi proxies in Yemen deployed along the Saudi border abutting Shi'ite-majority order provinces, and fighting for control over the Bab el Mandab, Iran now poses an immediate and existential threat to Saudi Arabia.
.
Moreover, as the Saudis see it, the threat posed by the Brotherhood has severely diminished since Sisi began his campaign to destroy its infrastructure in Egypt. So long as Sisi continues weakening the Brotherhood in Egypt and Libya, the Saudis feel safe working with the Brotherhood and its state sponsors Turkey and Qatar in Syria and Yemen. To this end, much to Washington's dismay, the Saudis are willing to back a consortium of rebel groups in Syria that include the al-Qaida-linked Jabhat al-Nusra.
.
The Muslim Brotherhood and its terrorist offshoots are not the only strange bedfellows the Saudis are willing to work with in their bid to neutralize Iran.
.
They have also signaled a willingness to work with Israel.
.
While Israel should be willing to reciprocate Saudi overtures, there are institutional impediments to constructive cooperation.
.
For more than 20 years, Israel's policy-making community has been intellectually ensnared by the notion of peace. As a consequence, the concept of joint action based on shared interests has become almost incomprehensible.
.
Many senior officials believe that the only way for Israel to collaborate with its Arab neighbors is by first signing a peace treaty with the Palestinians. So long as such a peace treaty eludes us, no real cooperation is possible.
.
This is the why Labor head "Buji" Herzog and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid responded to the stunning support Israel received from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE during Operation Protective Edge, not with a simple nod and smile, but with the idea that what we all need to do to follow up with a regional peace conference where the Egyptians, Saudis and the UAE could join the West in condemning Israel for failing to cough up Jerusalem.
.
The problem is that the security establishment is committed to the notion that Israel's international position is a function of the state of our relations with the Palestinians. If we appease the Palestinians, then people will develop ties with us. If not, they will blackball us.
.
This week, Dr. Mark Heller, a principal research associate at the Institute for National Security Studies, gave expression to this popular assessment in an article he published on the institute's website. Heller claimed that while it is true that Israel and regional actors, including Saudi Arabia, share interests, and it is possible that due to those joint interests "potential may exist for expanded ties," nothing significant can come from those ties so long as Israel refuses to appease the Palestinians.
.
In his words, "Those who reject making such concessions to the Palestinians should at least refrain from indulging in the fantasy that Israeli involvement in a regional response to Israel's challenges - the Iranian threat, Islamist radicalism, American fecklessness, or anything else - is a substitute for movement on the Palestinian issue rather than a consequence of it."
.
Not only is this thinking wrong, given the chaos in so much of the Arab world today, it is dangerous. With all the Arab regimes teetering on the edge or seriously threatened by rising jihadist forces, talk of peace treaties, overt ties and normalized relations between Israel and its neighbors is not merely irrelevant, it is dangerous. Going public with ties to Israel could endanger regimes maintaining them.
.
Israel's reason for wanting to work with the Saudis and their neighbors is the same as their reason for wanting to work with us. Together we can weaken Iran more than we can separately.
.
If the Saudis oppose open ties with Israel because they are threatened by jihadists, Israel should oppose ties because they are collaborating with jihadists.
.
The greater the expanse of our joint efforts, the greater the threat of blowback. On the other hand, if limited joint operations are successful, then the bilateral impetus for future cooperation will grow.
.
As to the Palestinians, suffice it to note that the agenda for nObama's summit with the representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council makes no mention of the Palestinians.
.
If the Palestinians do arise as an issue at nObama's summit this weekend, it will be because the Americans raised it. The Arabs, for their part, will cluck their tongues and denounce Israel in unison for a bit, and then clear their throats and move on to a subject that interests them.
.
And this brings us back to the Israeli diplomatic-security brass and their antiquated notions about what makes our Arab neighbors tick.
.
Israel today is confronted by two strategic threats that have little to nothing to do with each other. On the one hand we have Iran. On the other hand we have the international campaign to delegitimize Israel's right to exist.
.
Iran is a regional threat.
.
The threat of delegitimization emanates mainly from Western countries acting hand in glove with the PLO. What we learn from arguments like Heller's is that many in the top echelons of our diplomatic-security community view them as interconnected.
.
This is a problem, because treating them as such only makes things worse.
.
Iran is principally a physical threat. The center of gravity of any strategy for contending with Iran involves physically blocking Iran's territorial advance in the region and its acquisition of nuclear bombs.
.
Cooperation between Israel and the Gulf states would consequently take place on the ground, far away from television cameras. The public dimension of a strategy of blocking Iran's regional and nuclear advances - continuously sounding the alarm regarding the threat Iran poses to international security - is not an end unto itself. The purpose of these warnings is develop the political maneuver room to enable actions on the ground.
.
In contrast, a coherent strategy for combating the delegitimization threat requires Israel to act almost entirely above ground. To defeat the manifold forces seeking to cast Israel out of the community of nations, Israel must expose and discredit the goals of the campaign, the political forces leading it and their sources of finance.
.
The problem is that in order to adopt a competent strategy for countering the delegitimization campaign, Israel's senior officials first need to understand what is happening. And here the Palestinians are relevant to the discussion.
.
Ever since the UN's diplomatic pogrom at Durban, South Africa, in August 2001, just a year after the peace process blew up at Camp David, the Palestinian conflict with Israel became part and parcel of a broad-based campaign to deny Israel's legitimacy and right to exist.
.
For 14 years Israel has failed to forge coherent and successful policies for contending with this state of affairs because our senior officials refused to acknowledge what had happened and have instead insistently argued that the campaign against us is somehow related to a future peace with the PLO.
.
We saw just how absurd this view has become earlier this week when one of the principal PLO negotiators, the terrorist- turned-security boss-turned international soccer aficionado Jibril Rajoub, the current head of the Palestinian soccer federation, made real progress in his longstanding bid to get Israel expelled from FIFA.
.
Rajoub understands that any success he garners in his operation will have a cascade effect on the overall campaign to expel Israel from the community of nations. Rather than open a counter offensive, based among other things on exposing Rajoub's true nature - he is a man whose hands are anything but clean - and making him persona non grata in polite company, Israel chose instead to pretend he isn't our enemy and to deal with this quietly.
.
The same officialdom that wrongly viewed Rajoub as a peace partner in the 1990s, cannot accept that he is our enemy, hell bent on using political warfare as a means of destroying Israel. The officialdom that still believes Israel's legitimacy is tied to its ability to appease the PLO cannot understand that the PLO has no reason to exist outside the campaign to destroy Israel's legitimacy.
.
The Iranian threat does share two features with the delegitimization campaign. Both threaten Israel's existence, albeit in different ways. And both require strategic operations that contradict the central guidepost of Israeli strategic thinking for the past 20 years.
.
We don't need open relations with the Arabs. We get more behind the scenes that we will ever receive in front of them.
.
And the Palestinians aren't the key to good relations with the West. They are the justification for anti-Semitism.
.
We have the means to handle both threats. But doing so requires that we first put our long-held delusions behind us.
.

God v. The Constitution…Part 2 of 2

By Craig Andresen and Diane Sori –  Right Side Patriots on cprworldwidemedia.net

gvc-1.jpg?width=264Yesterday, in Part 1 of our report, “God v. The Constitution,” we laid out the legal aspects of the upcoming Supreme Court case regarding same sex marriage but, at the bottom of all the hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth however, is the mantra chanted endlessly by those on the far, far right and the holier than thou set…that being…”traditional biblical marriage is only between one man and one woman.”

What this really is, is the ultra-religious ascribing words either to the Bible or directly to God that simply aren’t true but let’s give them a chance and see how it lines up with the facts.

To imply that biblical marriage is between one man and one woman would need a Bible verse or passage as backing to make it fact however, no such verse or passage exists. In fact…the Bible never uses the word “marriage” nor in fact does the Bible ever define marriage. Sure, there are plenty of verses and passages regarding love or husbands and wives that one can look up but none of them, not one, offers any definition regarding the institution of marriage.

That said however, the Bible does offer a great deal of insight into “traditional” marriage.

nObama's Nuke Deal Gets Loads of Skepticism
Once Barack nObama signs his deal with Iran, that's it. Re-imposing sanctions or striking down the nuclear deal will become very hard — even if Iran does weaponize its nuclear program. On Thursday, Congress
passed its resolution watering down its role in treaty negotiation by requiring a 30-day review of nObama's treaty before voting on it. Essentially, nObama's deal can be struck down only by veto-proof majorities in Congress. Meanwhile, Russia announced it will not allow an automatic snapback of sanctions if Iran is found stuffing fissile material into missiles, and it can use its position as one of the veto votes on the UN Security Council to prevent such a diplomatic move. By doing so, Russia is currying favor with Iran.
Finally, nObama hosted leaders of countries in the Persian Gulf at Camp David Thursday, trying to assure them that this nuclear deal is in their best interest. But after reading the joint statement released after the meeting, Charles Krauthammer said, "That was a prepared statement for a summit that is meant to assure the Gulf Arabs that we're not selling them out. That was a sellout announcement. … They should be terrified." Another win for nObama.  -The Patriot Post

The DOJ Is on a Mission to Stop Racist Pollution
Under the current administration, we've come to expect an ideologically activist Department of Justice that seeks out instances of pollution and racism and acts accordingly. But when the DOJ looks for instances where pollution itself is racist, the department veers into injustice. National Review's Roger Clegg pointed out a DOJ publication that touted this approach in its spring edition. According to a memorandum issued by Bill Clinton during his administration: "In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, each Federal agency shall ensure that all programs or activities receiving Federal financial assistance that affect human health or the environment do not directly, or through contractual or other arrangements, use criteria, methods, or practices that discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin." That means if an organization receiving federal funds — like a city government — needs to somehow affect the environment, it needs to justify that it's not racist to boot. Justice thus assumes that creating a landfill or creating a facility that deals with harmful chemicals in a certain location may have racist intent when in fact the intent may be purely economic. Furthermore, labeling neighborhoods "black" or "white" fails to take into account their evolution, as when they undergo white flight or gentrification. But never mind all this when social justice -- rather than colorblind justice -- is the DOJ's ultimate goal. More...   -The Patriot Post

No, Antarctica Is Not Experiencing Rapid Ice Melt
Antarctic sea ice is so expansive that researchers are exploring ways to avoid more embarrassing mishaps. Writing in The Daily Caller, Michael Bastasch says, "50 scientists have gathered in Tasmania to discuss more accurate ways to predict Antarctic sea ice levels so researchers don't get stuck in ice pack when traveling southward." So it was richly ironic when CBS News reported this week that "Antarctica is melting from above and below." The article, which documents a new alarming study on how global warming is supposedly eating away at the giant ice cap, begins with an outrageous claim — "It's no secret that ice shelves in Antarctica are thinning" — and warns that "warming air temperatures and warmer ocean currents together could explain why the Antarctic Peninsula's floating ice shelves are losing volume and becoming more vulnerable to collapse." The truth? As of Wednesday, sea ice extent was breaking the previous record high set just last year, according to data from the National Snow & Ice Data Center, and the trend for decades now has been a steady increase in a real ice coverage. In fairness, the exception is the western portion of the continent, where ice is lagging behind the 1981-2010 average. But averages are based on the whole, not cherry-picked portions of the data. This is nothing more than selective outrage.

The Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda Approach to Foreign Policy
As a leading GOP presidential candidate and brother of the former president, Jeb Bush had to know he was going to be asked about Iraq sometime during the campaign. That “sometime” came this week as Megyn Kelly of Fox News asked him whether, “knowing what we know now,” he would have authorized the invasion of Iraq. Jeb used the answer to both speculate that Hilly Clinton would have done (in fact, did) the same thing and declare that, “if they’re trying to find places where there’s big space between me and my brother, this might not be one of those.”
The blowback was predictable, and he quickly walked back his answer, insisting he'd misheard the question. He did seem to answer the "knowing what we knew then" version. Now he says flatly, "I would not have gone into Iraq."
Needless to say, there’s been a lot of debate about the fitness of the younger Bush’s initial answer. Conservatives ponder whether he needed a better one, made "a rookie mistake," or was exactly right. There are also those who thought the question itself was “completely stupid."
Stupid or not, the question was bound to come up as a result of the ongoing mess we’re dealing with in the Middle East, and we now have over a decade of hindsight at our disposal. There weren’t the quantities of weapons of mass destruction everyone — even those who quickly pretended otherwise — originally believed were in Iraq. Intelligence estimates at the time were all George W. Bush had to go on, not "what we know now." There was also Saddam Hussein's established record of atrocities, belligerence and threats to U.S. interests. So, we eliminated a bloody dictator, the byproduct of which convinced Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi that he should abandon his own efforts at a WMD program.  -The Patriot Post

Grayson erupts after off-shore funds exposed by Florida newspaper
(Ed Morrissey) - There have been few progressives as angry about off-shore investment accounts as Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL). In 2011, not coincidentally while Mitt Romney readied his presidential campaign, Grayson wrote at the Huffington Post that Barack nObama should order “the IRS to audit every one of the Fortune 500″ corporations... Grayson wanted to stop them from “evading taxes through transfer pricing and offshore tax havens.” Grayson may have known more about that than first thought. Adam Smith of the Tampa Bay Times found out that Grayson himself had incorporated two funds in the Caymans later that same year, the same kind of tax structure that Grayson found so distasteful in January 2011. Based on disclosure statements, Grayson has somewhere between $5 million and $25 million put away in the fund, although he’s drawing no income from it.       http://hotair.com/archives/2015/05/14/grayson-erupts-after-off-shore-funds-exposed-by-florida-newspaper/

US conducts raid on ISIS in Syria, kills top official
(foxnews.com) - U.S. personnel overnight killed a key Islamic State leader in a raid in eastern Syria, the White House said Saturday morning... The U.S. team, based in Iraq, killed leader Abu Sayyaf and captured his wife, Umm Sayyaf, said National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan. Abu Sayyaf was a senior ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) leader whose roles included overseeing illicit oil and gas operations -- key sources of revenue for the terror group, according to the White House. He also was allegedly involved with the group's military operations.        http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/16/us-conducts-raid-on-isis-in-syria-kills-top-official/

Egyptian court sentences President Mohammed Morsi to death
(foxnews.com) - An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced ousted President Mohammed Morsi to death over his part in a mass prison break that took place during the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak... As is customary in passing capital punishment, Judge Shaaban el-Shami referred his death sentence on Morsi and others to the nation's top Muslim theologian, or mufti, for his non-binding opinion. He set June 2 for the next hearing. Morsi, Egypt's first freely elected president, was ousted by the military in July 2013 following days of mass street protests by Egyptians demanding that he be removed because of his divisive policies.       http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/05/16/egyptian-court-sentences-ousted-president-mohammed-morsi-to-death/?intcmp=latestnews

Col North – nObama Regime Censors News From Iraq
(rickwells.us) - Colonel Oliver North notes that Ramadi, Iraq used to be a city of 600,000 with only about 400,000 remaining after one third of the city fled in advance of the approaching ISIS butchers. He describes holding Ramadi as “absolutely crucial” in the Iraqi government’s efforts to maintain control of Iraq’s largest province, Anbar... He characterizes the potential loss of Ramadi as a devastating blow to the Baghdad government and proof that the Iraqi military force is not capable of securing the nation and not up to the task of reclaiming Mosul, which has a population of close to four times that of today’s Ramadi. He says, “The idea that they could be going after Mosul is lunacy.” North says that rather than getting updates on progress from the White House we are seeing an effort on their part to censor the news. He also points to how ineffective our airstrikes have been in diminishing the enemy. The limited nature of our military campaign is responsible for our failures. It is not the inability of our military to do the job but a lack of the will to win on the part of the person who presently occupies the White House.       http://rickwells.us/col-north-obama-regime-censors-news-from-iraq-blames-networks-for-old-video/

CA Citizens Now Paying For Drought Crisis Dems Exploiting
(rickwells.us) - California is often, if not usually at the forefront of the adoption of bad or unconstitutional liberal policies. They’ve been allowing Democrats and enviro-Nazis to run roughshod over their state since the seventies and it’s really gotten out of hand since the nineties... when George H W. Bush and Bill Clinton got together to force UN Agenda 21down our sleeping throats. Now that they’ve successfully eliminated California’s water storage in the name of a meaningless bait fish, the state is under authoritarian dictates by its Democrat leadership, particularly Enviro-Nazi Governor Jerry Brown, and there is a finally an awakening being forced upon the people of that state. The videos below were taken in part at a water meeting in Rancho Cucamonga, in Southern California. They’re importing huge numbers of illegal resource users from other nations as they face what many believe is a contrived water shortage. Those in government who are acting in a more local capacity simply point to the dictates of the governor as they explain that “their hands as well as those of the citizens of California are tied” as a result of the dictates of one man, their governor.        http://rickwells.us/ca-citizens-now-paying-for-drought-crisis-dems-exploiting-implementing-agenda-21/

A New Baghdad Bob Emerges As ISIS Takes Over Ramadi
(nicedeb.wordpress.com) - As ISIS took over Ramadi, Friday, routing Iraqi troops, who fled for their lives along with thousands of civilians, Brig. Gen. Thomas D. Weidley, chief of staff for Combined Joint Task Force Operation, wants the American public to believe that Islamic State forces are on the defensive and that the situation is going just according to plan... Leave it to nObama to produce a military spokesman as impressively mendacious as Iraq’s own Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf – aka Baghdad Bob. Never-mind the weaselly – “ultimately” destroy verbiage. We’re not even “ultimately” degrading them. Degraded armies don’t keep gaining ground. This is a new low for the United States. For God only knows what reason – the leader of the free world is handing Iraq over to savages. And now we’ve got our own Baghdad Bobs telling us we’re not seeing what we’re seeing. The disaster playing out before our eyes, they tell us is really the enemy being “degraded” by our broad coalition.       https://nicedeb.wordpress.com/2015/05/15/a-new-baghdad-bob-emerges-as-isis-takes-over-ramadi-video/

American Natives Ask UN to End U.S. “Occupation”
(Alex Newman) - A mysterious “human rights” coalition purporting to speak for Native Americans in Alaska and Hawaiian natives is demanding an end to what it calls the U.S. “occupation” of those states... and it is asking for United Nations and hostile foreign powers to intervene to help secure independence from the United States. The UN and the nObama administration have, in recent years especially, stepped up their “indigenous peoples” campaign to attack liberty. And analysts say the implications of the developments should be troubling to all Americans. The bizarre demand for UN and foreign government intervention comes as the Kremlin and Communist Beijing have taken an active interest in American secession movements. Senior military hawks serving the brutal regime ruling mainland China have even threatened to arm Hawaiian separatists, according to news reports and experts. Meanwhile, the pro-secession Texas Nationalist Movement was in Moscow late last year for a summit bringing together separatist leaders from around the world — primarily leftists and other revolutionaries.        http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/item/20890-american-natives-ask-un-to-end-u-s-occupation?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=76ceff4399-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-76ceff4399-289778381

Bulgarian Communist Is Now “Frontrunner” to Lead UN
(Alex Newman) - With an apparent nod from the nObama administration, Bulgarian Communist Party operative and current UNESCO boss Irina Bokova is reportedly the “frontrunner” to become the next secretary-general of the United Nations... The controversial radical, whose communist roots run deep, is being touted to lead the UN by the Western globalist establishment and totalitarian Third World regimes — and not just because of her close ties with Moscow and reported acceptability to nObama. However, despite her past and her views being largely suppressed in the establishment press, Bokova’s candidacy should be troubling to all supporters of freedom, Judeo-Christian values, national sovereignty, and free markets. The latest establishment media organ to tout Bokova’s bid for the top UN post was the Financial Times, a newspaper that is always well represented at the shadowy Bilderberg meetings bringing together top globalists from around the world.     http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/item/20884-bulgarian-communist-is-now-frontrunner-to-lead-un?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=76ceff4399-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-76ceff4399-289778381

Jade Helm & The Bill Ayers Connection
(David R) -Larry Grathwohl was an undercover FBI operative who had infiltrated the infamous "Weather Underground" founded by nObama friend and mentor, Bill Ayers... What Larry Grathwohl discovered as an undercover agent in the group was shocking and may explain much of what we are witnessing today. There are many events taking place in America that would give one the impression that this plan is well underway. The latest Clinton Scandal involving the sale of U.S. uranium to the Russians. The United States is suffering from a crushing economic debt of eighteen trillion dollars, of which, at least, a trillion is owed to the Chinese. It was rumored in 2009 that Hilly Clinton had promised the Chinese eminent domain rights over American land if we should ever default on our debt. In 2011, it was reported that the Chinese plan to build special economic zones within the United States. For those who may not find this shocking enough, let me conclude by reminding you that the Chinese submitted a report to the U.N. demanding American citizens be disarmed because the Second Amendment was a threat to human rights. What they really mean is that they are afraid armed Americans might not be too happy about them taking what's ours. Hang on to your guns America.       http://freedomoutpost.com/2015/05/jade-helm-the-bill-ayers-connection/

"No Big Difference between Iran and ISIS"

(Uzay Bulut) - "Every year we publish an annual report on the death penalty in Iran. About 50% of Iran's execution cases included in the report have not been announced by the official sources... We only include the cases that we manage to confirm through two independent sources. It is a difficult task, but important. People who send information about the human rights abuses can be persecuted and get heavy sentences. "We went to Pakistan as refugees and two years later, we were sent by the UN to Norway. At that time, Ayatollah Khomeini had closed the universities and expelled most of the scholars and students (including my sister) if they were not regarded as 'loyal' to the Islamic Republic. "At that time no one believed that a theocratic system with medieval laws could rule a relatively modern country such as Iran for more than few years. So most Iranians who left Iran at that time believed that they would be returning home after few years." After 35 years, however, the human rights of Iranian people are still being destroyed daily at the hands of Iranian mullahs. "We have observed a dramatic increase in the number of executions since the election of Mr. Rouhani,"says Moghaddam.       http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5723/iran-isis

The Return of nObama’s
Hoax-Spreading Bitter Half
Michelle Malkin
.
michelle-obama-speech
.
(freedomsback.com) - She’s baaaaaaaack. And she’s maaaaaad.
.
First lady Michelle nObama delivered the commencement address at Tuskegee University last weekend. She’ll do it again at Ohio’s Oberlin College — the UC Berkeley of the Midwest, Ground Zero for racial grievance-mongering and fake hate crimes — next week.
.
Commencement FLOTUS is not the same first lady who shows up on “Ellen” or “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” wearing her pastel cardigan, Chuck Taylors and a megawatt grin. No, this frowny-faced Michelle nObama talks and squawks like Al Sharpton in Jimmy Choo kitten heels. At Tuskegee, FLOTUS traded her affable TV persona for the divisive social justice complainer we all came to know and loathe during her husband’s first presidential campaign.
.
nObama’s resurrected bitter half inspired the graduates by complaining about people complaining about her. She complained about the “sting” of “daily slights” throughout her life and her poor, beleaguered husband’s. And then she complained. And complained. And complained some more.
.
She clucked at the “folks” (read: white folks) who allegedly “crossed the street in fear of their safety” at the sight of the nObamas.
.
She called out unnamed “clerks who kept a close eye on us in all those department stores.”
.
She decried the racist “people at formal events who assumed we were the ‘help.'” (Funny, the only time I recall this happening in the nObama White House was when Valerie Jarrett mistook four-star Army Gen. Peter Chiarelli, who is white, for her waiter. But I digress.)
.
Reaching into her deep well of indignation, Mrs. nObama then assailed “those who have questioned our intelligence, our honesty, even our love of this country.”
.
Let me take out my teeny-weeny bow and play the world’s smallest violin at the thought of Mrs. nObama being subjected to the “sting” of impolite questions about her honesty. Using my best slow vibrato: Waw-waw-waw-wawwww.
.
It’s hard to take Mrs. nObama seriously, because she has been caught so brazenly lying about the racial discrimination she supposedly still faces today even as first lady of the United States. When she told the Tuskegee students about being watched “in all those department stores,” she neglected to mention that just five months ago, one of her most famous anecdotes of retail racism went up in smoke.
.
What? You forgot already? Using almost the exact same language in a People magazine interview that she used in her Tuskegee commencement speech, the first lady deplored the “sting” of “racist experiences” that she and her husband allegedly still suffer.
.
Get her some Calamine lotion STAT!
.
“Even as the first lady,” she bemoaned, “not highly disguised, the only person who came up to me” at a Target store “was a woman who asked me to help her take something off a shelf.” Remember: ABC News reported that Mrs. nObama claimed such “incidents are ‘the regular course of life’ for African Americans and a ‘challenge’ for the country to overcome.”
.
The anecdote turned out to be a tall tale — with the emphasis on “tall.” The reason the 5-foot-11 first lady was asked to get detergent off the Target shelf was that her vertically challenged fellow shopper couldn’t reach it. How do we know this? Because Mrs. nObama said so herself in a radically different version of the Target story she told David Letterman three years ago.
.
“I reached up, ’cause she was short, and I reached up, pulled it down,” the first lady described with that megawatt grin, and the shopper said, “Well, you didn’t have to make it look so easy.” Far from psychologically debilitated by any racial “sting,” Mrs. nObama told Letterman, “I felt so good” helping out the short woman.
.
I don’t care what color you are: This arrogant exercise of first lady privilege — invoking false stories to stoke racial hostility and score political points — is patently offensive. There’s enough demagoguery in the public square. The Aspen ski-vacationing, haute couture-wearing, Hollywood elite-chumming first lady’s delusional discrimination fables are fuel on a raging fire her husband has failed to alleviate with billions of dollars of government “investments,” programs, summits and photo-ops.
.
It is especially irresponsible of Mrs. nObama to be spreading her cultural gasoline on college campuses, where the excesses of identity politics and multiculturalism continue to poison young minds.
.
Don’t like suffering the “daily slights” of questions about your honesty? Stop lying.

DHS Report Undercuts Obama’s Amnesty Rationale

While Barack Obama’s amnesty actions are held up in court, the administration has argued Obama’s power grab is simply prosecutorial discretion and a prioritization of enforcement. Specifically, Obama’s Justice Department says it can “focus limited resources on higher priority aliens” who pose “threats to national security, border security, and public safety.” That’s a convenient lie, however, as revealed in a recent report from DHS Inspector General John Roth: “DHS uses prosecutorial discretion in deciding to what extent it will enforce immigration laws, including whether to place aliens in or take them out of the removal process. However, the Department does not collect and analyze data on the use of prosecutorial discretion to fully assess its current immigration enforcement activities and to develop future policy. … As a result, DHS may not be using its significant investment in immigration enforcement as efficiently as possible. The Department may also be missing opportunities to strengthen its ability to remove aliens who pose a threat to national security and public safety.”

In other words, DHS isn’t collecting the information needed to even assure that it’s doing what Obama claims is a “priority” — removing dangerous aliens. We’re pretty sure the Fifth Circuit Court would find this report relevant as it considers the legality of Obama’s actions. More…

Death is the most just punishment society can mete out to this jihadi; life in prison wouldn’t have been enough. Since 1988, the federal government has sentenced 80 people to death, yet only three have received their penalty. Jazz Shaw at Hot Air notes, “But now, this very young terrorist will awaken each day and go to bed each night counting the days he has left, looking at a life far shorter than any his less heinous peers envision. Will the next appeal be approved? Will he be granted a stay? Can he hang on to precious life, no matter how lonely and morbid, for just a little longer before he faces the darkness of eternity?” Now, Tsarnaev’s defense team will test every procedure of the trial, trying to find a crack that will overturn his sentence. Boston.com says his defense will most likely make issue that the trial was not held outside Boston, and that some of the evidence was sealed for the sake of national security. More…

Ramadi Falls to ISIL

Using car bombs and suicide bombers, ISIL launched an attack Sunday that overran the Iraqi city of Ramadi, capital of the Anbar province and once home to 850,000 people. The Iraqi government was so desperate to hold the city that it called up Shiite militias backed by Iran, a move the Obama administration discourages because it heightens the chance of sectarian war. However, the Pentagon is spinning the defeat, saying the capture of Ramadi is little more than a propaganda victory for ISIL. Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said, “ISIL seems to have the advantage. They will use this for their own propaganda purposes, but it doesn’t give them a significant tactical advantage.” But Obama’s former ambassador to Iraq has a different take.James Jeffrey told Bloomberg, “It’s a desperate situation in Ramadi. … We can’t assume time is on our side. It isn’t. My feeling is something needs to happen quickly or we’re going to lose all of Anbar.” On Saturday, the Pentagon announced that U.S. Special Forces killed a senior ISIL leader who controlled the group’s moneymaking schemes. While the Pentagon is taking it on the chin for Obama’s failed military strategy, silent professionals are doing their jobs.

FEATURED RIGHT ANALYSIS

Hysterical Democrats Take the Exploitation Train

By Robin Smith

2015-05-18-6a98ed61_large.jpg

In the case of hysterical leftists, their response to every crisis, real or manufactured, is to find the political angle that supports a statist or collectivist policy and begin the echo chamber of victimization and mass protest. The horrific Amtrak derailment is no exception.

First, the facts. Forensic examination of video footage from cameras mounted on the Amtrak passenger train shows that it inexplicably accelerated from 70 mph to 106 mph in the 65 seconds before the crash, all while heading into a turn with an authorized speed limit of 50 mph. This feat, according to Amtrak and the National Transportation Safety Board, should have been impossible due to the train’s design, which allows it to accelerate only via manual control.

Amtrak train No. 188 crashed due to the defiance of the laws of nature and, quite possibly, human error.

Oh, but ne'er a crisis should be lost as an opportunity to level political blame at those who demand accountability, transparency and results in government spending and programs.

After the Philadelphia Amtrak train met with calamity, the eight lives lost and the two hundred plus injured passengers were converted from tragic victims of a horrific accident to props in political theater.

A harsh statement? Well, let’s roll tape.

At a House Transportation Committee hearing Wednesday, only one day after the train wreck, Oregon Democrat Rep. Peter DeFazio was shown blasting Republicans who should be “cognizant of the real world out there, of what happened last night, of what the capital needs of Amtrak are, and will not engage in short-sighted budget cutting.”

Rep. Steve Israel (D-NY) decried that a decision to block a $1 billion spending increase was directly responsible for the deadly incident and its victims: “Last night we failed them. We failed to invest in their safety.” This Democrat’s statement was made so early in the first responders' rescue and recovery phase that not all the victims had yet been cleared from the wreckage.

And Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) declared, “We don’t know the connection between funding and this incident, but regardless, Amtrak needs more funding.”

Presstitutes lined up to do their part, parroting the DNC-approved narrative that “mean Republicans wouldn’t increase spending by $1 billion as requested, so people died!” (Imagine that spoken in the most dramatic, angst-filled oratory to get the full intended effect.)

News accounts attempted to tie the House Appropriations vote to the absence of a high-tech safety system — the Positive Train Control (PTC) — that theoretically would govern the Philadelphia train and override any human error or mechanical failure that could cause such a dramatic and inappropriate increase in speed.

NTSB member Robert Sumwalt told reporters Wednesday evening, “Based on what we know right now, we feel that had such a system been installed in this section of track, this accident would not have occurred.” Leading the crash probe, Sumwalt was interviewed just hours after the House Appropriations Committee “voted down a Democratic amendment that would have offered $825 million for the technology known as positive train control,” according to Politico.

Ready for the fact-filled footage that didn’t make the edits?

The House Appropriations Committee only rejected a $1 billion increase, which would have almost doubled Amtrak’s annual budget from $1.4 billion to $2.4 billion. But, why, oh why, you ask, would there be any hesitation to approve such a massive increase in Amtrak spending?

According to its own records, Amtrak operated at a $1 billion loss in 2014 and $1.2 billion losses in 2012 and 2013. To Democrats and their presstitutes, billion-dollar losses each year merit more money to lose.

The NTSB showed its own reckless behavior in making erroneous and accusatory remarks. ThePTC safety system is in place on the very Amtrak line where this crash occurred. Why was this advanced safety system not operational? Government regulation, of course.

The PTC operates through wireless networks requiring Federal Communications Commission approval. FCC negotiations have been ongoing since 2011 to award Amtrak use to implement this system.

Ready to anticipate the next straw-man argument? Following an investigation by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the NTSB, the FBI and other agencies, should this awful catastrophe be proven the result of human error, the Democrats will only add to their talking points. Be ready.

In addition to the lie that funding kept the safety system from being installed, the new narrative around the train’s unsafe acceleration will be that Republicans are attacking the engineer for hishomosexual and pro-union activism. Funny, the only folks reporting this man’s personal life are the same ones who keep blaming funding for a system already in place but choked in Obamaland bureaucracy.

The Left rewrites the truth one social media hashtag at a time and cranking up the decibel of protest.

Mark Twain seems to capture the value Democrats place on veracity and our fellow American citizens: “Never tell the truth to people who are not worthy of it.”

OPINION IN BRIEF

John Goodman: “Here is what everyone needs to understand. It doesn’t matter what teenagers earn in their first job. Whatever they earn, they will likely spend on fun and frolic. But the skills they learn — showing up for work on time, following orders, being respectful — are skills that will pay off for a lifetime. Meanwhile, employers are substituting capital for labor — including greater use of robots — just about everywhere in the labor market. For example, there is now a 14-arm, automated harvester that can wheel through rows of strawberry plants, distinguish the ripe from the unripe and pick the berries from the green leaves surrounding them. At $100,000, the robot is not cheap. But no one in Congress is insisting that farmers pay the robot more than it’s worth and there are no laws requiring farmers to provide the robot with Obamacare or other expensive benefits.”

I am just thankful for every day that he’s in office. … I’ve never seen a Congress that has been so obstructive and so contrary and so committed to doing anything that will foul up this administration. I just think it’s an absolute scandal that he has had so little cooperation.” —singer/songwriter James Taylor

Village Idiots: “ISIL’s momentum has indeed been blunted, its ability to mass and maneuver forces degraded, its leadership cells pressured or eliminated, its command-and-control and supply lines severed.” —Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz, whose remark came as jihadists were overrunning Ramadi, Iraq

The BIG Lie: “Make no mistake: [Dzhokhar Tsarnaev] claimed to be acting on behalf of all Muslims. This was not a religious crime. And it certainly does not reflect true Muslim beliefs. It was a political crime, designed to intimidate and to coerce the United States.” —U.S. Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz, dismissing Tsarnaev’s jihad motives

RUBIO ROCKS IN SPEECH TO HAWKS
Miami Herald: “Marco Rubio … on Wednesday addressed one of the key questions facing many candidates this election. Would he have gone to war in Iraq, given what we know now? Rubio, a freshman Republican senator, said no. After giving his first major policy speech since announcing his candidacy a month ago, Rubio was asked the question that rival and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was recently asked. Bush has said he misunderstood the question and backed away from his response, which initially was to say he would have authorized the war — even knowing what we know now. … Rubio said no. “Not only would I not have been in favor of it, President [George W. Bush] would not have been in favor of it. And he said so.”  -Fox News

 STAND FOR SOMETHING
Members of the wounded warrior support group SoldierSocks were in Washington to drum up backers for their initiative to buy and donate exoskeleton devices (at more than $100,000 a copy) that help paralyzed service members stand and walk again. The demonstration, held in Honeywell’s D.C. office, hushed the gabby crowd and ended in applause. The group says there are more than 125 already in use in VAs  and other hospitals around the country for therapy. But the near-term goal is to develop a device that helps users live beyond the bounds of a wheelchair. Co-founder Chris Meek led the presentation for a crowd that included Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., and area badass Katie Pavlich. Stranded in New York, but there in spirit, was the munificent Martha MacCallum, who serves on the group’s advisory board.

 HOW ABOUT PEECEE WAY?
(London) Telegraph: “An MP has complained to a council on behalf of a gay couple outraged at a ‘homophobic’ road named Bangays Way. The street sign was erected in the village of Borough Green, near Sevenoaks, Kent last month - and the row centres on adding the letter ‘s’ to the Bangay name. The cul de sac in a new residential development was named in memory of well-known villager Frank Bangay who died in 1999. But a married gay couple, who have lived in the village for almost seven years and have asked not to be named, want it changed. One of them said: ‘My husband and I went to look round the new development. Having got over the initial humour, we reflected that this street name was actually pretty offensive.’”

'Game-Changing' Development Threatens Saudi Oil Fields

(Aaron Klein) - Despite the presence of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt off the coast of Yemen, the Iranians succeeded in smuggling Scud B and C missiles to the rebels fighting in Yemen, Jordanian security officials told WND... The security officials described the possession of the missiles by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels as potentially game-changing and as a direct threat to the Saudi kingdom and its oil fields. While the Scuds have not yet been used, the Shiite Houthi rebels on Tuesday already escalated tensions with the Saudis when they fired rockets into Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, killing at least three people. The Jordanian officials said the Scuds, if utilized, could endanger Saudi Arabia and potentially disrupt the global oil market.        http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/game-changing-development-threatens-saudi-oil-fields/

The Supreme Court has No Authority to Re-Define Marriage
(David L. Goetsch) - The Supreme Court heard oral arguments concerning the legalization of same-sex marriage recently. This means that a decision concerning the re-definition of marriage will be forthcoming this summer... Notice that I used the term “re-definition” rather than “definition.” This is a key point. The Supreme Court is not being asked to define marriage, it is being asked to re-define it. Marriage was defined for all time several thousand years ago by an authority much higher than the Supreme Court. Consequently, regardless of how the Supreme Court rules on this historic case, its decision will be wrong (unless, of course, the justices rule that they lack the authority to rule). Re-defining marriage exceeds the authority of the Supreme Court as set forth in Sections 1 and 2 of the U.S. Constitution. Section 2 of the Constitution clearly states that “The judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution, the laws of the United States, and treaties made, or which shall be made, under this authority…”        http://patriotupdate.com/articles/the-supreme-court-has-no-authority-to-re-define-marriage/

Trey Gowdy: State Dept. Blocking Clinton Benghazi Testimony
(newsmax.com) - The chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, said Thursday that he can't set a date for Democratic presidential candidate Hilly Clinton to testify before his panel... because the State Department has been slow in producing needed documents. In a letter Thursday to Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., complained that the department has delayed providing emails and other documents involving Clinton, a former secretary of state.   BHO Lie--Russia NEVER Agreed To Automatic Sanctions Snapbacks
(Jeff Dunetz) - While the president is fighting for his Iran nuclear pact over the objections of the majority of congress, his Arab allies and Israel, it seems like another element of his promised agreement is falling apart... One of the items the president has promised is included in the deal is that it contains and automatic snap back of sanctions should Iran violate the deal.  As a matter of fact at a press conference with the prime minister of Italy in mid-April nObama said the snapback provisions were a key part of the deal. Apparently no one told that to Russia or China. “There can be no automaticity, none whatsoever” in reimposing UN sanctions if Iran violates the terms of an agreement to curb its nuclear program, Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told Bloomberg News on Wednesday. He didn’t elaborate. Those statements really shouldn't really surprise anyone except those who believe the Administration is being honest.       http://yidwithlid.blogspot.com/2015/05/another-obama-lie-russia-never-agreed.html?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=db9b359e92-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-db9b359e92-291705165&goal=0_597b72c01c-db9b359e92-291705165

Iran's Deputy Commander "We Welcome War With The Americans."
(yidwithlid.blogspot.com) - Ladies and Gentlemen, this is who President nObama trusts to negotiate with. The video below is a must watch and comes from the folks at MEMRI... In an Iranian TV interview, IRGC Deputy Commander Hossein Salami threatened the Americans, saying: "We welcome war with the Americans." The U.S. aircraft carriers would be destroyed, its air bases in the region burned, and the skies set ablaze, he said. "We have built our strength for the purpose of long, extended wars... more than for the purpose of peace, compromise, and dialogue with them," said Salami. The interview aired on the Iran TV's Channel 1 on May 6, 2015.     http://yidwithlid.blogspot.com/2015/05/irans-revolutionary-guard-deputy.html?utm_source=The+Lid+List&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=db9b359e92-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_term=0_597b72c01c-db9b359e92-291705165&goal=0_597b72c01c-db9b359e92-291705165

 Erdogan's Dream: The Sultan Rules
(Burak Bekdil) - t is election time in Turkey. On June 7, the Turks will go to the ballot box to elect a government and a prime minister who will rule the country for four years... In reality, they will go to the ballot box to decide whether they want an elected Sultan or not. Turkey's President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, wants more than just to win a parliamentary majority for his Justice and Development Party (AKP). He wants a two-thirds majority, so that the constitution can be amended to introduce an executive presidential system and the Sultan can once again officially rule.       http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5719/erdogan-sultan

Muslim Leader Said Israel is ‘Enemy of God’ Invited to White House
(Joe Kaufman) - Regardless of the circumstances, when a representative from CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a group with close ties to Hamas, is allowed into the White House, a serious, indeed dangerous, problem exists... One day after the brutal death of his cousin – a revenge attack following the murder of three Israeli teens – Tariq Abu Khdeir, a 15-year-old boy who had traveled to Israel from Tampa, Florida, found himself arrested and beaten by an Israeli officer. On the day of his being taken into custody, authorities alleged Khdeir was masked, armed and actively participating in rioting against officers. They said, as well, he had resisted arrest. A video purporting to be of the beating went viral, and an Israeli investigation into the footage commenced.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/joe-kaufman/muslim-leader-who-said-israel-is-enemy-of-god-invited-to-white-house/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=0e57729a06-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-0e57729a06-156509103

nObama's embarrassing mistake as he greets Saudi princes
(Barbara Boland) - Yesterday, two Saudi crown princes arrived to meet with President nObama at the Oval Office, after King Salman refused to meet nObama at the Gulf summit or at the White House... White House officials should have been careful to make sure everything with the two top Saudi officials went smoothly — but instead, nObama flubbed on the deputy crown prince's name and the name of the king who forged America's relationship with Saudi Arabia, King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud. The prince sat stony-faced as nObama makes the error.        http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/watch-obamas-embarrassing-mistake-as-he-greets-saudi-princes/article/2564508#.VVXzhRMMRr4.twitter

 RUSSIANS FEAR THE UNITED STATES?
(Jim Emerson) - The Telegraph reported from an independent pollster the Levada Center survey that nearly a third, 31 percent, of Russians fear an invasion by the United States. The Moscow Times citing the same survey reported that 59 percent of Russians believe that the United States and NATO pose a threat to the homeland... Amid the tensions arising from the Ukrainian crisis this is a 12 percent increase from a previous survey conducted in 2007. This poll is an indication of heightened tensions between Washington and Moscow that haven’t been seen since the Cold War. The poll was conducted last April interviewing 1,600 adults across 46 regions of the country. Other poll results indicate that 48 % of Russians are concerned that the United States would interfere with any Russian efforts to modernize. Forty percent feared that America is trying to take control and destroy the Russian economy, hardly likely given the amount of time spent by nObama and his acolytes on the destruction of the American economy. Thirty six percent are wary of the forced imposition of U.S. values and ideals. It seems these people must be watching the exported version of Modern Family.       http://www.coachisright.com/russians-fear-the-united-states/

 From The ForAmerica War Room
(foramerica.org) - On the program front, ForAmerica released our second video declaring Jeb Bush “Unelectable... ”Background: In 2013, nearly a year to the day of the anniversary of the Benghazi attacks, Jeb Bush presented Hilly Clinton a lifetime achievement award for “public service” (you read that right) thanking both Mrs. Clinton and former President Bill Clinton for their “love of country” and dedication to “public service.”  Instead of re-hashing the alphabet soup of scandals the Clintons have been involved in while in “public service” – Benghazi, missing emails, illegal foreign contributions, Monica Lewinksy, Whitewater, the list goes on and on…and on — let’s focus on the political ramifications this footage has for Mr. Bush.        http://www.foramerica.org/2015/05/from-the-foramerica-war-room-3/

Punishing parents who deviate from the government-enforced norm
George F. Will

.
(washingtonpost.com) - Controversies about “free-range parenting” illuminate today’s scarred cultural landscape. Neighbors summon police in response to parenting choices the neighbors disapprove. Government extends its incompetence with an ever-broader mission of “child protection.” And these phenomena are related to campus hysteria about protecting infantilized undergraduates from various menaces, including uncongenial ideas.
.
The Meitivs live in suburban Montgomery County, which is a bedroom for many Washington bureaucrats who make their living minding other people’s business. The Meitivs, to encourage independence and self-reliance, let their 10- and 6-year-old children walk home alone from a park about a mile from their home. For a second time, their children were picked up by police, this time three blocks from home. After confinement in a squad car for almost three hours, during which the police never called or allowed the children to call the Meitivs, the children were given to social workers who finally allowed the parents to reclaim their children at about 11 p.m. on a school night. The Meitivs’ Kafkaesque experiences concluded with them accused of“unsubstantiated” neglect.
.      Today’s saturating media tug children beyond childhood prematurely, but not to maturity. Children are cosseted by intensive parenting that encourages passivity and dependency, and stunts their abilities to improvise, adapt and weigh risks. Mark Hemingway, writing at the Federalist, asks: “You know what it’s called when kids make mistakes without adult supervision and have to wrestle with the resulting consequences? Growing up.”
.
Increased knowledge of early childhood development has produced increased belief in a “science” of child rearing. This has increased intolerance of parenting that deviates from norms that are as changeable as most intellectual fads.
.
“Intensive parenting” is becoming a government-enforced norm. Read “The day I left my son in the car” (Salon.com), Kim Brooks’s essay on her ordeal after leaving her 4-year-old in the car as she darted into a store for about five minutes.
.      Writing in the Utah Law Review, David Pimentel of Ohio Northern University notes that at a moment when “children have never been safer,” government is abandoning deference to parents’ discretion in child rearing. In 1925, the Supreme Court affirmed the right of parents “to direct the upbringing and education of children.” Today, however, vague statutes that criminalize child “neglect” or “endangerment” undermine the social legitimacy of parental autonomy. And they ignore the reality that almost every decision a parent makes involves risks. Let your child ride a bike to school, or strap her into a car for the trip? Which child is more at risk, the sedentary one playing video games and risking obesity, or the one riding a bike? It is, Pimentel says, problematic for the legal system to enforce cultural expectations when expectations, partly shaped by media hysteria over rare dangers such as child abductions, are in constant flux.
.
Time was, colleges and universities acted in loco parentis to moderate undergraduates’ comportment, particularly regarding sex and alcohol. Institutions have largely abandoned this, having decided that students are mature possessors of moral agency. But institutions have also decided that although undergraduates can cope with hormones and intoxicants, they must be protected from discomforting speech, which must be regulated by codes and confined to “free speech zones.” Uncongenial ideas must be foreshadowed by “trigger warnings,” lest students, who never were free-range children and now are as brittle as pretzels, crumble. Young people shaped by smothering parents come to college not really separated from their “helicopter parents.” Such students come convinced that the world is properly devoted to guaranteeing their serenity, and that their fragility entitles them to protection from distressing thoughts.
.
As Penn State historian Gary Cross says, adolescence is being redefined to extend well into the 20s, and the “clustering of rites of passage” into adulthood — marriage, childbearing, permanent employment — “has largely disappeared.” Writing in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Cross says that “delayed social adulthood” means that “in 2011, almost a fifth of men between 25 and 34 still lived with their parents,” where many play video games: “The average player is 30 years old.” The percentage of men in their early 40s who have never married “has risen fourfold to 20 percent.”
.
In the 1950s, Cross says, with Jack Kerouac and Hugh Hefner “the escape from male responsibility became a kind of subculture.” Today, oldies radio and concerts by septuagenarian rockers nurture the cult of youth nostalgia among people who, wearing jeans, T-shirts and sneakers all the way, have slouched from adolescence to Social Security without ever reaching maturity.

God v. The Constitution...Part 1 of 2

By Craig Andresen and Diane Sori –  Right Side Patriots on cprworldwidemedia.net

scotus1%2Bcover.jpg?width=200Let’s start with the bottom line…the ‘social issues’ belong to the states…period. And anyone who says otherwise does NOT know the Constitution…you know…that pesky little document Obama so loves to trample on.

The Constitution…the very document that defines our freedom and protects us from a tyrannical government (that is until Obama came along)… clearly and unequivocally states which powers will be delegated by law to each branch of government. And while amendments to the Constitution have been added that deal with specific ‘human rights’ (rights believed to belong equally to every person) those amendments still rightfully place limits on government powers in regards to those rights. And the ubber-religious far right, and even some centrist conservatives, do not understand that when ‘social issues’ cross the line into political fodder they themselves become what’s legally referred to as ‘constitutionally improper.’ And neither the federal government nor Obama himself…even when yielding his trusty pen and his phone… can legally choose which Constitutionally given ‘human rights’ to focus on…to fixate on…over the others. But the delegation of the so-called ‘social issues’ still must adhere with the Constitution not with Obama or with the socially conscious and many times judgmental ubber-religious far right.

The Breakaway Civilization

We're not living in 1950. We are in 2015 now - it's Buck Rogers time, not Fred Flintstone time. It is incumbent upon us to snap out of our purple haze of distraction and manipulation; to put down the toys and stop sucking our thumbs. Jade Helm is on the horizon, the internet of things is in our faces, our privacy has been flushed down the toilet, our Bill of Rights and Constitution has been torn to shreds. We are on the precipice of economic collapse, widespread civil unrest, the dilution of the American Culture even further through calamitous immigration, more loss of jobs, more single parent families, more social debauchery, falling IQs, more disease, more damaged children, more GMO foods, more chemical laden drinking water, more deadly vaccines, and lots more of things that would take hundreds of words to document.

Yet, there are thousands upon thousands of the so-called Ruling Elite that are benefitting from technological advances and insider financial arrangements, to form a new Breakaway Civilization that will leave the rest of us dazed and confused; watching helplessly on the side of the road as they go forward into the future, leaving us behind to suffer the wrath being part of yesterday's news.

If you want to survive, and bask in the sunshine of tomorrow, you MUST wake up today. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid being handed out to you by the Mainstream. Start educating yourself. Begin tuning in to the Real Media, the one that offers truth and will bring you up to speed with what's going on, so you can Breakaway from the Social Engineering being performed on you, and Cultural feces being smeared in your face:

- Infowars.com

- Cutting Through The Matrix.com

- Caravan to Midnight

- The Hagmann & Hagmann Report

There are others, of course, but try these on for size and let go of Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and all the other Trojan Horses. You'll be more informed and less controlled. Then, we may have a better shot, collectively, at saving America.

Stop the USA FREEDOM Act (USAFA).

By: Juan Reynoso, WTP- activist -  texusa2016@gmail.com

"Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty."

True Americans are the ones that stand for our Constitution, our God given rights, our laws and the international laws.

Fellow Americans, we must never forget that America is the land of the free, the GOP NEOCONS promoters of globalizations and the wars in the Middle East, want a carte blanche to spy on Americans in violation of our constitution and the Bill of rights. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has introduced legislation to simply renew the Patriot Act as-is. He said the government's power should not be weakened at a time when the threat from the Islamic State and other militant groups is growing. As always Mitch McConnell and the GOP NEOCONS under the pretense of national security want to use our national security to continue the espionage on the American people.

The patriot Act, it is nothing more than a carte blanche legislation to trash our constitution and the rights of the American people; in fact is an act of treason. We hold all the politicians accountable for the preservation of our constitutional rights; they all took an oath to defend and protect the constitution, violation of our constitution and our God given rights is treason, Americans have enough of this culture of corruption and betrayal and we will make the traitors pay for their betrayal.

Americans will not stand for the continuation of these surveillance state provisions of the “Patriot act” The USA FREEDOM Act (USAFA). The NSA spying must end; we will hold accountable, all politicians that support and vote for this sham bill that is nothing more than a betrayal and the demise of our constitution. We are counting on the morality of our senate leadership and vote no on this ill policy. Senator Rand Paul will lead the senate to stop this misguided reauthorization of the so-called "Patriot" Act. That was the work of a convicted war criminal George W. Bush.

Fellow Americans, you must stand for your freedom, before June the 1st, we want 10 million letters send to the Senate,  these senators won’t be prepared for the endless letters, faxes, phone calls, and emails that they will receive from the American people, demanding they stand up for the Fourth Amendment by opposing the "Patriot" Act reauthorization. They all took the oath to defend our constitution if they fail to defend our constitution, it will be regarded as an act of treason and we will make them pay for their action, so help me God.

Fellow patriots every one counts be an activist to protect the constitution and our God given rights. We must stop the GOP NEOCONS WAR MONGERS. Please don’t hesitate. I am counting on you.  Will you take part in this critical program to roll back the surveillance state?

Spread the word, stop the GOP NEOCONS WARMONGER.

Clinton Foundation donor flails in interview -  WashEx: “A major Clinton Foundation donor who stood to profit immensely from the highly scrutinized takeover of Uranium One by the Russian government struggled to explain his involvement with the charity under questioning TuesdayFrank Holmes, one of several investors cited in a New York Times article about the deal, attempted to dismiss allegations that he had donated to the Clinton Foundation in an effort to secure Hilly Clinton's approval for the 2010 transaction during an interview on CNBC's ‘Squawk Box.’ Several of his claims directly contradicted

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE
The Twitter handle @_Florida Man has drawn the attention of the NYT for its tales of Iguana barter, axe-wielding strippers and other insane antics that hilariously prove something most Americans already know: Florida is a weird place. But how we know that is what makes Florida the opposite of weird, and actually makes it pretty great. The Miami New Times points out Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Act, which allows people access to all kinds of public records with few exceptions is what leads to easy access to mug shots, police reports, and direct knowledge of government happenings not available to reporters in most other states. It’s also why there is an abundance of ‘weird Florida news’ on the internet. Maybe the next installment ought to be “Florida man enjoys nation’s best government accountability.”

CARSON TO THE TOP, JEB TAKES BACK RUBIO’S BOUNCE
The latest Fox News poll shows Ben Carson getting a surge in support from Republican primary voters, more than doubling his share of the hypothetical vote. Carson, who clocked in at 6 percent last month, now stands tied with Jeb Bush at 13 percent. Bush made gains as well, climbing 4 points since the previous survey. Close behind Bush and Carson: Scott Walker at 11 points and Mike Huckabee at 10 points. Marco Rubio saw his post-announcement gains largely evaporate. He slipped 4 points to 9 percent and fifth place overall. Also losing ground were Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Paul lost 3 points and Cruz lost 2 points. Bush fared best among potential rivals to Hilly Clinton, with 45 percent to her 44 percent. Others in striking distance of the presumptive Democratic nominee included Huckabee who trailed Clinton by 3 points and Walker, Carson and Rubio who trailed her by 4 points.

Arrogant TSA Administrator Refuses House Testimony
(rickwells.us) - Maybe you don’t have to be arrogant, self-obsessed and disdainful of Congress and the American people to work in the nObama administration, but it certainly doesn’t hurt... A profound disrespect for the rule of law is a resume enhancer for working under Jeh Johnson at DHS. It’s therefore no surprise that Melvin Carraway, the acting TSA administrator would refuse a request by the House Oversight and Reform Committee to appear on Wednesday to discuss passenger safety, security, screening practices and flaws in their system. Jeh Johnson’s DHS, which oversees TSA, had objected to having their supposed servant of the people sit on the same panel as one of those commoners he theoretically works for, an ordinary citizen named Rafi Ron who operates a private security company. As a member of the nObama mob there are protocols for such things, rings to be kissed and the like and it’s beneath his dignity.        http://rickwells.us/too-good-to-sit-with-common-american-arrogant-tsa-administrator-refuses-house-testimony/

To Protect Clintons, ABC Censored and Buried Path to 9/11 Miniseries
(John Nolte) - The length to which ABC, its news division, and its parent company (Disney) have gone to protect and curry favor with the Clintons is almost impossible to grasp... To begin with, in 1996, ABC News hired George Stephanopoulos, a former Clinton campaign and White House official. Within a few years he would become the ABC new division’s chief anchor and political reporter. That’s right, the symbol of ABC News has an ongoing relationship (involving large sums of money) with Bill and Hillary Clinton, a relationship that he and ABC Newsattempted to cover up from viewers. All of that, however, is just a small part of an incestuous and corrupted relationship that has gone on for more than a decade.       http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2015/05/14/flashback-to-protect-clintons-abc-censors-and-buries-911-miniseries/

20 Traitors: Republicans Who Voted To Gut America’s Military
(gopthedailydose.com) - Despite 20 Republicans defecting to join Democrats, Republicans and conservatives won big on Thursday evening: An amendment from Rep.  nObama Would Veto Pro-Life Bill to Ban Abortions After 20 Weeks
(Steven Ertelt) - Although Americans strongly support legislation that would ban late-term abortions and protect babies who are capable of feeling intense pain during an abortion, President Barack nObama would veto the legislation... Today, the House of Representatives votes on the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, a bill to ban abortions after 20 weeks and the expectation is the bill will pass with a strong bipartisan majority. However, should the Senate follow suit and approve the pro-life legislation, President Barack nObama would veto it.        http://www.lifenews.com/2015/05/13/barack-obama-would-veto-pro-life-bill-to-ban-abortions-after-20-weeks/

BREAKING: nObama Openly Declares He Wants to Censor Fox News
(gopthedailydose.com) - Addressing Fox News specifically, nObama went on to say, “I think that the effort to suggest that the poor are sponges, leeches, don’t want to work, are lazy, are undeserving, got traction. And look, it’s still being propagated... I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant venue.” Throughout his speech, nObama spoke of poverty as if he had firsthand experience. He spoke of poor people as if he were one of them, ignoring his ineffectual seven years as president during which he has increased the impoverished population in America. As usual, nObama made no attempt at bipartisanship on this subject and actually blamed Republicans and conservative news outlets for contributing to the problem. To him, the poor are nothing more than game pieces to be used and manipulated to achieve his greater agenda.        http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/05/15/breaking-obama-openly-declares-he-wants-to-censor-fox-news/

Replacing Military With Illegals Is Backdoor To Overrule Amnesty
(rickwells.us) - Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX) points out that while we are gutting our military with one hand, forcing American citizens out, with the other hand the Congress is attempting, by way of an amendment by Rep Gallegos, to replace those Americans with illegal aliens... Thecareer of American citizens is being ended in favor of replacing them with people who have no right to be in this country. Washington has truly gone mad. In a joint statement issued by Rep Dave Brat (R-VA) and Rep Mo Brooks (R-AL), the two lawmakers stated, “With passage of this amendment, a majority on the Armed Services Committee urged the Secretary of Defense to hire DACA illegal immigrants, rather than American citizens, at the same time the Pentagon is in the process of laying off tens of thousands of American troops.”        http://rickwells.us/louie-gohmert-replacing-military-with-illegals-is-backdoor-to-overrule-amnesty-injunction/

Ten Reps Under Ethics Probe – Who Paid For My Free Vacation
(rickwells.us) - Maybe we’ve got a gang of simpletons running our government who would never think to ask why somebody is giving them as much as $20,000 worth of free airfare and gifts... Maybe it’s more realistic to conclude that they knew something was expected in return but wanted a luxury vacation and thought they could get away with it. Either way, the cat is now out of the Congressional bag and ten lawmakers have some serious explaining to do. An ethics investigation is underway into a 2013 luxury junket in which ten members of Congress were treated to a lavish vacation and gifts by SOCAR, an Azerbaijan state-run oil company. The money, roughly $750,000 was run through non-profits in the United States, allegedly to avoid detection, as reported by the Washington Post.        http://rickwells.us/ten-reps-under-ethics-probe-who-paid-for-my-free-vacation-what-difference-does-it-make/

Middle East Nations’ Nuke Up – Result Of nObama’s Iran Deal
(rickwells.us) - The Foreign Policy Initiative published a May 5th article in which they stated, “The nuclear framework agreement with Iran will not just legitimize Tehran’s nuclear ambitions; it will also undermine President nObama’s global campaign for nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament.”... They noted that nObama had sworn “to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons,” and called for a series of weapons treaties to accomplish his supposed goals. They also reminded us of an April 2009 speech in Prague, in which nObama pontificated that, “Rules must be binding. Violations must be punished. Words must mean something.” Of course, with nObama, his actions and his words usually have little in common, and that is once again the case. His words are of a non-proliferation nature, while his actions are generating a Middle East nuclear arms race.        http://rickwells.us/middle-east-nations-nuke-up-a-deliberate-expected-and-profitable-result-of-obamas-iran-deal/

ISIS Caliph Al-Baghdadi Calls
On All Muslims To Join Him For
The Great Battle Of Armageddon
Walid Shoebat
(shoebat.com) - “Islam was never for a day the religion of peace, Islam is the religion of war” said Caliph Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi during his recorded speech breaking a prolonged period of silence. He released a 35-minute audio message to his followers in which he urged Muslims around the world to travel to Iraq and Syria and join up with the Islamic State. What the media ignored is that the bulk of Al-Baghdadi’s speech focused mostly on convincing Muslims to join him for the coming Malāhim (the great battle of Armageddon) and to end Al-Saud (the Rulers of Saudi Arabia):
.
"Our Prophet (peace be upon him) has informed us of the Malāhim(Armageddon). He gave us good tidings and promised us that we would be victorious in these battles. He is the truthful and trustworthy, peace be upon him. And here we are today seeing the signs of those Malāhim and we feel the winds of victory within them."
.
As part of these apocalyptical battles, he referred to the end of Saudi Arabia using Al-Saud’s derogatory title: Āl Salūl. He was accusing the Saudi rulers of descending from Abdullah Ibn Abi Salūl, an enemy of Prophet Muhammad.
.
In Islam it was suggested to Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, that Abdullah Ibn Abi Salūl should be killed because of the divisive and subversive role he played against Islam as he led a faction that Muslims consider “the hypocrites” or ‘the Judas of their time’ and held a deep seated enmity to the Prophet of Islam.
.
Killing Al-Saud is perhaps the only thing we can glean from his message besides “Islam is not the religion of peace, but the religion of war!”, which he accuses Al-Saud of abandoning in order to live in luxury.
.

ModerateIslam

The world ignores al-Baghdadi saying “Islam is not the religion of peace, but the religion of war!”, yet denounces the man for two issues. The first is when he kills and the second is when he says he kills in the name of Islam. The world wants to deny what is so obvious, that Islam is the religion of war. Had the man killed in the name of Jesus, the world will agree with him, that only Christianity is the “religion of war and Crusaders”.
.
Translating all this classical Arabic language to southern accent, all he said was: “Y’all think am deader than a skunk caught in a buffalo stampede? I ain’t kicked the bucket yet and Bag-Daddy has not been replaced by Bag-Mommy. Y’all Sunnis fleeing to the Shiite and Kurdish lands fearing we will castrate y’all should head-on back home, we forgave y’all already.”
.
Bag-Daddy is simply debunking all these claims that he has been seriously hurt or replaced and is telling the deserters that he needs them, badly. Bag-Daddy realizes he lost momentum in Syria to a coalition of rebel groups, including other Caliphate-minded Muslims who have in recent weeks won victories against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s loyalists. In Iraq, ISIS suffered setbacks and is currently fighting government forces for control of its largest oil refinery, at Baiji.
.

alnusra

Member of Al-Nusra, ISIS’s competition in Syria

Obviously Bag-Daddy wants more recruits – don’t all terrorists? What is perhaps the strangest thing in Bag-Daddy’s strategy (and the strategy of most Sunni jihadists) is something of an enigma: the special hatred for Al-Saud, regardless that Al-Saud is fighting the same enemy, the Shiites. One would think that if the goal is the end of Al-Saud, ISIS would join Iran instead of killing Shiites. Human logic dictates that despite Protestants and Catholics arguing about what both consider essential, that when it comes to a foreign enemy like the Muslims, the two in the end will unite.
.
But this is not so when it comes to Saudi Arabia where both ‘Catholic’ (Sunnis) and ‘Protestant’ (Shiites) want the utter destruction of Islam’s papacy, the protectors of Mecca and Medina where Islam itself was founded. Only in Islam and only in the Bible can we find such an enigma where John declared that the harlot religion, stemming from the desert of Arabia, which rides this religious governance in the surrounding region, will be burned in the end by the very beast she rides. Bag-Daddy, while he is unaware that his Allah is the ‘devil in disguise’, equating Āl Salūl (Al-Saud) with the Jews: “Oh Muslims, the apostate tyrannical rulers of the Two Holy Sanctuaries (Mecca and Medina)…so their masters from amongst the Jews and Crusaders had no more use for them. And so their masters began to replace them with the Safawī (Safavid/Shiites/Iran), Rāfidah (Shiites) and the Kurdish atheists.”
.
Bag-Daddy declares the obvious, this Harlot, Arabia, is slowly being abandoned by all: Shiites, Sunnis, even including the West. He confirms what he does not understand, that in the Bible it predicted all of this. He even alludes to the abandonment of Arabia: “When Āl Salūl realized their masters’ abandonment of them, their disposal of them like tattered shoes, and their replacement of them, they launched their supposed war against the Shiites of Yemen. And it is not a storm of resolve, rather it is the kick of a dying person, by Allah’s permission, as he struggles during his last breaths … Their storm [Saudi coalition against the Houthis in Yemen] is nothing but a storm of delusion after the fire of the Shiites scorched their thrones … This is what frightens Āl Salūl [Al-Saud] and the rulers of the Arabian Peninsula and makes their thrones tremble. This is the secret of their supposed “storm,” which, by Allah’s permission, will be their imminent end, for Āl Salūl and the rulers of the Arabian Peninsula are not people of war nor do they have the patience for it. Rather, they are people of luxury and extravagance, people ofintoxication, prostitution, dances, and feasts. They have become accustomed to the defense of the Jews and Crusaders for them and their hearts have drunk humiliation, disgrace, and subservience.”
.
“Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning, and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her. When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: ‘Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come! … Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’” (Revelation 18:8-10, 17-18).
.
Bag-Daddy explains what has today become obvious, that such a harlot lives in luxury, she is a prostitute, she rides the nations while she is comfortable seeing her beast fight for her and she will “drink the cup of humiliation, disgrace and subservience”. Indeed, the end of Saudi Arabia is imminent for from such a harlot, the nations are intoxicated with Islam while she lives in utter luxury as John predicted in Revelation 14 and Revelation 18.
.
Bag-Daddy asks: “Where are the jets of the Arabian Peninsula’s rulers towards the Jews who desecrate the destination of our Messenger’s Isrā’ (Jerusalem)”. He complains of Al-Saud for not focusing on Jerusalem and the annihilation of Israel.
.

Palestinians pray with their backs turned to the Dome of the Rock (to Jews as Temple Mount) in Jerusalem’s Old city. Ezekiel spoke of heretical Hebrews “with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east” (Ezekiel 8:16), and who were these people foreshadowing but the Muslims, who turn their backs toward Jerusalem and face East toward Mecca? And what did the Lord do unto these pagans? He told His warriors to place the mark of God on the foreheads of the righteous, and to slay the rest: Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity (Ezekiel 9:4-5) To learn more about this access: http://shoebat.com/2014/09/09/every-christian-needs-know-mark-beast-mark-god/
.
Well, the Muslims worldwide have asked Bag-Daddy the same question: when has he invaded Jerusalem? Shiites argue the same thing, that instead of invading Yemen, they need to invade Jerusalem.
.
How difficult is it then not to see that soon, some genius will go voilà, focus on Jerusalem first, then all the pieces of this evil coalition will fall into place.
.
Bag-Daddy complains saying: “Where is the support of Āl Salūl (Al-Saud)… Where is their chivalry towards the barrel bombs of the Shiites [in Syria]”. Strange, if anything Bag-Daddy and Al-Saud have much in common including the end of Bashar in Syria, yet he never once mentioned Bashar Al-Assad in his speech and honed in mostly on Saudi Arabia. Bag-Daddy laments that Al-Saud does nothing to the supposed persecution of Muslims, even all the way to China of which he says “where is the relief of the rulers of Mecca and Medina for the Muslims in China [the Uyghurs]?”.
.
Al-Saud is supposed to control powerful China as if Bag-Daddy can control his own population fleeing. This is why we have argued that Bag-Daddy isn’t “the man who will make the earth tremble” (Isaiah 14:16). The Arab (like Bag-Daddy) is the one who made Islam and succeeded to acquire some turf, but it is the Turk who, by the sword, spreads Islam to the four corners of the world.

Non-Muslim authorities have completely ignored this phenomenon, as it raises questions that are uncomfortable for them about the nature of Islam and the Qur’an, the content of instruction in mosques for converts, and mosque teachings in general. Catholic scholar of Islam: Caliph’s saying Islam is religion of war “very shrewd”

“Islam was never a religion of peace. Islam is the religion of fighting,” says the Islamic State’s caliph. Fr. Samir Khalil Samir, the leading Catholic scholar of Islam, says this is “very shrewd,” because it “corresponds to the expectations of a part of the Islamic world,” which will exclaim, “Finally, we find the true Islam!” […]

Spencer, PJM: Some Christians Object to Our Muhammad Cartoon Contest. Here’s Why They’re Wrong.

At PJM today I discuss the widespread reaction to our free speech event in Texas — yes, you can do it, but you shouldn’t. Meet the bravest woman in America

The Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest that Pamela Geller and I organized and hosted in Garland, Texas on May 3, along with the jihad attack upon it, has become a defining issue. It has led to a national conversation about the nature of the freedom of speech, its importance, and what should or should […]

What? A nun? This is an outrage! Is telling truths about Islam that no one wants to hear really compatible with being a nun? Doesn’t she realize that telling unwelcome truths is harming the “dialogue”? You know, that “dialogue” that is saving thousands of Christians from Muslim persecution every year, as erstwhile jihadis realize how […]

‘Freedom of the Press’ is a ‘Right’ giving Medias openness in preventing a tyrannical federal government from destroying our freedoms; not is co-opting and directing a left-wing political party.

There are many references in recent years where impious worms within the ‘Main-stream’ Medias have exposed themselves; coming out of their own decays; rather than exposing corruption(s) within our government.

The more current exposure is now showing as ABC News Anchor George Stephanopoulos displays his political partisanship by donating $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation but failing to report this ‘partisan’ gift even to his ABC bosses or anyone else.

Stephanopoulos continues his support of Democrat Party’s Presidential candidate and former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, who most likely violated US Code multiple times; time will tell.  Stephanopoulos chastises Republicans and others for questioning Hillary’s ‘quid pro quo’.  Stephanopoulos says Hillary Clinton did not violate any laws.

What is worse within Stephanopoulos’s hidden support of the Clintons, Stephanopoulos sought to moderate the 2016 GOP Presidential Primary debates; even though he shows his dislike for Republicans.  With Stephanopoulos as Moderator, he may be capable in swaying American voters to his own left-wing schemas.

For these reasons, George Stephanopoulos must be removed and fired.

Democrats Exploit Train Wreck to Derail Republicans
Regarding the Philadelphia train crash, the blood of the seven dead was not dry on the tracks before Democrats attempted to convert this tragedy into political capital. Congress was deliberating Amtrak funding and, in keeping with Rahm Emmanuel's maxim to "never let a good crisis go to waste," Democrats immediately asserted that the crash was related to an "infrastructure failure." nObama's White House mouthpiece Josh Earnest got in on the act, saying, "The president has been a leading advocate ... for investing in our infrastructure." He added, "Unfortunately, we have seen a concerted effort by Republicans for partisan reasons to step in front of those kinds of advancements." According to investigators, the train was traveling over 100 mph, or twice the posted track speed. Notably, this was very similar to the crash in Spain last year, when another train was traveling into a leftward turn at twice the posted track speed. Fortunately, Republicans have not (yet) bowed to Demo tactics, and Amtrak, which is as inefficient and bankrupt as the Post Office, has not yet received even more taxpayer funds. Isn't $1 billion a year enough?  -The Patriot Post

 Congress Takes NSA Hot Potato
The NSA's mass metadata collection efforts have come to a head. Last week, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the program violated the Patriot Act, despite the NSA claiming Section 215 authorized it. Indeed, Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI), primary author of the original Patriot Act, said, “That program is illegal and based on a blatant misinterpretation of the law." But the law is up for renewal by June 1, so Congress has to act. The House on Wednesday voted 338-88 to pass the USA Freedom Act, which specifically ends bulk data collection. That sets up a fight with the Senate, where Republicans are more eager to actually authorize the NSA's phone metadata program. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell warned the House bill would put undue limits on intelligence collection and said the Senate won't vote on it. House Speaker backstabber John Boehner promised not to let the Patriot Act expire because it's "critically important to keep Americans safe." But the fundamental debate is how much power the government needs to do that. How much Liberty do we give up for security?   -The Patriot Post

UVA Dean Sues Rolling Stone Over Rape Story
It's devilishly hard for someone in America to successfully sue a publication for libel. Not only does the plaintiff have to convince the court that what was published was false and caused harm, but the plaintiff also has to prove that the publication acted with malicious intent. In response to Rolling Stone's grossly irresponsible false report on a supposed rape on the University of Virginia campus, the college's Associate Dean of Students Nicole Eramo filed a $7.5 million suit against the magazine and the author of the story, Sabrina Rubin Erdely. Based on the complaint, it appears Eramo has a case. She alleges Erdely never attempted to get documents that would have disproven "Jackie's" story. And the reporter hid her work by using pseudonyms to describe people in the story she didn't talk to and dismissed concerns by a Rolling Stone copy editor who wondered why Erdely didn't talk to the accused. The complaint alleges even Jackie was uncomfortable with how the magazine portrayed Eramo. But Erdely was trying to fit this story into a template, the one she used in the past when writing about rape — a template that produced several factually challenged stories. As Jonah Goldberg wrote last month, journalistic ethics are "all based on a very simple rule: Tell the truth." More...  -The Patriot Post

The Left's Twisted Concern for Premature Black (Voter) Deaths
"Blacks die sooner than whites. How many votes has this cost Democrats?" So headlined The Washington Post over the weekend. It's not so much that black lives matter, you see, as black votes matter to Democrat politicians.
Writing in the Post, University of Massachusetts at Amherst Professor Dean Robinson takes a look at the research of Javier Rodriguez, Arline Geronimus, John Bound and Danny Dorling, four university professors who attempt to calculate how different election outcomes might have been if the voting-age blacks who died between 1970 and 2004 had lived and voted (Democrat).
According to Robinson, "Rodriguez and colleagues estimate that excess deaths among blacks totaled 2.7 million between 1970 and 2004, that 1.74 million would have been of voting age, and that 1 million would have voted in the 2004 election. Combining excess mortality with the consequences of felon disenfranchisement, they find that about 1 in 7 blacks (15 percent) did not have the opportunity to vote in 2004 for one of these two reasons."
While the study authors conclude the 2004 presidential election would not have turned out different, they assert the "[o]utcomes of 7 senate and 11 gubernatorial races could have been reversed."  -The Patriot Post

House passes bill for Congress to review Iran nuclear deal
(foxnews.com) - Congress is sending President nObama a bill that would give lawmakers the power to review and potentially reject a nuclear deal with Iran... The House overwhelmingly passed the bill on a 400 to 25 vote. The legislation, which nObama has said he would sign, gives Congress a chance to weigh in on what could be a significant international accord aimed at getting Iran to curb its nuclear program in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.       http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/14/house-passes-bill-for-congress-to-review-iran-nuclear-deal/

Top House Republican unveils nObamacare replacement
(Philp Klein) - House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., on Wednesday unveiled a plan to repeal President nObama's healthcare law and replace it with an alternative... The move is the latest effort by Republicans to show that they have a vision for reforming the healthcare system beyond merely undoing nObamacare. With Republicans taking over the Senate, a looming Supreme Court decision, and the 2016 campaign heating up, there has been increased pressure on the GOP to offer alternatives. Price, an orthopedic surgeon who in January took over the budget panel from Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has been one of the leading voices on healthcare policy among Republicans.       http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/top-house-republican-unveils-obamacare-replacement/article/2564446?utm_campaign=Conservative%20Inbox:%20Top%205&utm_source=Conservative%20Inbox:%20Top%205%20-%2005/14/15&utm_medium=email

Nuclear Plant Fire North of NYC Brings Back Relicensing Concerns
(Clark Mindock) - A sheen of oil and chemicals wound down the Hudson River toward New York City this week after Saturday’s fire and explosion in a nuclear power plant transformer 40 miles upstream from the nation’s largest metropolitan center. Awkward timing... The explosion came as the plant’s owner, Entergy Corp., is lobbying federal lawmakers and agencies for relicensing to keep the facility open, with some New York lawmakers mounting a fight against the bid. For opponents of the Indian Point plant’s continued operations, like Rep. Nita Lowey(D-N.Y.), Saturday night’s explosion provided an opportunity to once again question the wisdom of keeping the power plant going. Oh  my gosh, should we close down the trains also?     http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2015/05/nuclear-plant-fire-north-of-nyc-brings-back-relicensing-concerns/?utm_source=CRP+Mail+List&utm_campaign=9ab46aacc1-Newsletter_5_14_15&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_9df8578d78-9ab46aacc1-210943657

 Taxes and the GOP Candidates

(Michael Warren) - Ryan is the chairman of the House Ways andMeansCommittee, which makes the memento all the more fitting. For decades, the concept illustrated by Laffer’s curve—that raising the rate of taxation past a certain point actually lowers revenue... has been the organizing principle of the Republican policy of lowering taxes by cutting marginal rates. Republicans aren’t ready to abandon that idea in spirit, but as the 2016 presidential election nears, there are signs of some divides within the party about what’s a priority—and what isn’t—when it comes to tax reform. Ryan himself is pretty direct about where he sees the debate over taxes. Recently, a reporter in Washington asked him if lowering individual and corporate tax rates is still a top priority for him. “Yes,” he said immediately. Has interest in lowering rates waned? “No,” he said just as quickly. Is the goal to push the top marginal rate down below 30 percent? “Absolutely,” he said.     http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/taxes-and-gop-candidates_941097.html?utm_source=newsletters&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=JVL+5_14_15

Where Did the Islamic State Come From?
(Elliot Friedland) - Last summer the Islamic State shocked the world with its lighting conquests of swathes of Iraq and Syria... But the group is much older than that. It has its roots in Al-Qaeda and the global jihadist movement that developed from the 1980s onwards. What is now the Islamic State began as a group called Jamaat al-Tahwid wa-i-Jihad (JTWJ), founded in 1999 by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who first became a jihadi in Afghanistan.  Zarqawi was killed by a United States airstrike in 2006. http://www.clarionproject.org/analysis/where-did-islamic-state-come

 Leaders of the Lynch Mob
(Matthew Vadum) - Leaders of the “Black Lives Matter” movement are obliquely endorsing killing cops and rioting as legitimate forms of political activism as the radical community organizers of the so-called Black Spring ramp up political violence and civil unrest... For example, on-the-record statements by Twitter stars DeRay Mckesson, 29 and Johnetta Elzie, 26, are all over the Internet. Mckesson and Elzie are influential activists who have become legacy-media darlings by using social media to push their racial-grievance agenda. Both of these community organizers bounce between reverence for nonviolent action and a refusal to condemn violent activism, which this writer would argue is tantamount to endorsing violent activism.       http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/matthew-vadum/leaders-of-the-lynch-mob/?utm_source=FrontPage+Magazine&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=201ae684af-Mailchimp_FrontPageMag&utm_term=0_57e32c1dad-201ae684af-156509103

Where in the World Is hanoi John Kerry?
(Daniel Greenfield) - hanoi John Kerry returns from his latest Russian visit bearing two baskets of potatoes and a t-shirt... The t-shirt, given to him by Foreign Minister Lavrov, might as well say, “I wasted my time in Russia and all I got was this shirt.” It’s a diplomatic success only in relation to hanoi Kerry’s previous humiliations such as the time that Russia’s adeptly slimy foreign minister kept him waiting for a week before returning his call while the State Department spokeswoman announced to the world that hanoi Kerry was “ready to talk whenever Foreign Minister Lavrov can find the time.” The Putin regime enjoys humiliating the United States, but even it seems to have tired of degrading hanoi Kerry who ruins their fun by failing to realize what is going on. The Latest "Breaking the Silence" Report Isn't Journalism. It's Propaganda.
"Breaking the Silence" Report Isn't Journalism. It's Propaganda
(Matti Friedman) - Last week, a report by an Israeli group called Breaking the Silence made headlines in the U.S., Britain, and most of Europe, becoming one of the week’s biggest international stories... The subject was the Gaza war of 2014. The headline in theWashington Post was representative: New report details how Israeli soldiers killed civilians in Gaza: “There were no rules.” This report is worth dwelling on because there will be more rounds of fighting in Gaza, and more reports like this one, and more reporting of this kind—and because, for all observers of the Israel-Palestinian conflict, it is important to understand the sources of information that shape our thinking.       http://mosaicmagazine.com/observation/2015/05/the-latest-breaking-the-silence-report-isnt-journalism-its-propaganda/

A Nation of Illegals
Burt_Header_M2.jpg
.
(burtprelutsky.com) - Living in California as I do, I have long been aware of the myriad of problems that illegal aliens (aka undocumented immigrants; hard-working people who do the jobs Americans won’t do; future Democrats) bring with them. But until I read a speech delivered by Heather MacDonald, a Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, my knowledge barely scratched the surface.
.
For instance, under the Secure Communities program, when an illegal alien is booked into a local jail, an automatic alert is sent to the folks at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), so that ICE agents can pick him up and start deportation proceedings. Although I have a problem with deportation, which only sticks a criminal across a line in the sand at the border, and would prefer to see him jailed, there are about 300 jurisdictions, including New York and California, that refuse to cooperate.
.
But even without these so-called sanctuary cities and states, in 2012, 400,000 illegal aliens were arrested, but only 19% of them were deported, while half of the 81% who were not exiled soon committed another crime.
.
The reason that the problem has only gotten worse in the decades since Reagan got gulled by the Democrats into signing the amnesty in the mid-80s is because the various presidents and Congress had no real stake in the outcome. The Democrats saw illegal aliens as millions of potential votes, while Republicans, representing farm and other business interests, saw a constant flow of cheap labor. It’s only society at large that pays the price of being flooded with low-skilled, basically illiterate, foreigners. The fact that we continue to offer citizenship to babies born on our turf to people who have no business being here merely compounds the problem, and makes a mockery of what citizenship is supposed to mean. It’s worth noting that these babies, innocent though they are, happen to be the only people in America allowed to directly benefit from the commission of a crime.
.
Something I was unaware of was that the majority of those identified as “long term English learners,” or, in other words, people who don’t know how to speak our language were born in the United States. In fact, according to Ms. MacDonald, 30% of the long-termers in the nation are third generation Americans.
.
In the past, whether parents originally came over from Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Japan, Egypt or Argentina, their children, let alone their grandchildren or great-grandchildren, were becoming doctors, judges, lawyers, accountants, architects, police officers and scientists. But even the slow learners quickly learned the difference between “is,” “are” and “were.”
.
♦ We are still welcoming educated foreigners. Unfortunately, they tend to be technical workers being brought over from India by the likes of Silicon Valley and Disney in order to undercut the wages of Americans already doing the job.
.
♦ As you may have noticed, the liberals are looking to have it both ways when it comes to the rioters in the big cities. So far as schmucks like nObama and Sharpton are concerned, the vandals are expressing long-time grievances against a racist society. But when Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake decides to defend her order to the city’s cops to stand down while the thugs burned homes, cars and businesses, it was because they were just a bunch of high school kids with a smattering of outside agitators.
.
If those are the troublemakers, stop talking about underlying causes and longstanding resentments. Then it all comes down to young jackasses who just enjoy burning and breaking things, and anarchists, who also enjoy burning and breaking things.
.
Let us remember that when it came to granting suffrage to 18-year-olds, liberals told us that if they were old enough to go to war, they were old enough to vote. At the time, I granted that was a good argument for allowing young soldiers to vote, but it fell apart when applied to those still living at home and collecting a weekly allowance. Likewise, as a defense for vandalism, it fails to hold water. If you’re old enough to be running loose in the streets without parental supervision, you’re old enough to pay the consequences. And when you’re a Balti-moron destroying the lives of your elders, the consequences should involve jail time and just possibly getting your head conked by a billy club.
.
♦ In other news, I’m getting annoyed with all the controversy over the means by which murderers are sent off to meet their Maker. The way the louts have gone from opposing electric chairs and hangings to firing squads and chemical cocktails, you would think they were all residing on Death Row. The truth is that those opposed to executing the vilest members of the human race will never be satisfied.
.
In the beginning, those who objected to lawful executions based their objection on the misinterpretation of the Commandment against killing, arguing that the State has no more right to kill than the individual. When people started to catch on that the actual translation from the Hebrew prohibits murder, not state-authorized executions, the self-righteous busybodies had to change their tactics. They then made it their mission to make executions such a rarity that they could then trade on the use of the word “unusual,” as it appears in the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of “cruel and unusual punishment.”
.
About 10 years ago, when many of the same people argued that Terri Schiavo should be taken off life support, they insisted, as if they knew, that being deprived of food and water wouldn’t cause the 41 year old woman to experience the least bit of pain. I admit I was skeptical at the time, no matter Mrs. Schiavo’s cognitive state, but if starvation is agreeable to the other side, I am more than willing to deprive the sadists and serial killers on Death Row of food and drink for as long as it takes.
.
Because, I confess, providing the monsters with a painless death is the least of my concerns, I would prefer to make them listen to nObama’s six State of the Union addresses. Unless I miss my guess, by the middle of number four, they’ll be begging for the noose or even for Old Sparky.
.
♦ Sen. Bernie Sanders, the so-called Independent from Vermont, who hasn’t had an opinion in 70 years that wasn’t in line with either the DNC or the Communist Party of the United States, launched his presidential campaign by attacking the big money in American politics.
.
Predictably, the man who has spent his entire political career living up to his initials only mentioned the Koch brothers. Not a word about George Soros, Tom Steyer or the Clintons.
.
♦ As for the Kochs, in their pathetic attempt to prove they’re not the heartless ogres dinky Harry Reid has labeled them, they have decided they will no longer ask potential employees if they have criminal records. In a nation in which 40% of the adults lack full time employment, and a majority of them lack a rap sheet, is that the best that these two titans of conservatism can do?
.
Is it any wonder that liberals are going to keep booting us in the rump as long as rich dopes like Mrs. Koch’s little boys, Charles and David, are going to walk around with “Kick Me” signs on their backs?
.

HOUSE MEMBERS PUSH FOR IRS CLINTON PROBE
Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., is circulating a letter among her colleagues asking IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to review the tax-exempt status of the Clinton Foundation. In the letter, a draft of which was obtained by Chief Congressional Correspondent Mike Emanuel, Blackburn says, “recent media reports have revealed that the Foundation failed to report millions of dollars in grants from foreign governments that it accepted while Hilly Clinton was Secretary of State and that it facilitated private business transactions between foreign entities” and as such, “given the substantial public interest involved, we feel a prompt review of the Foundation’s tax-exempt status is appropriate to determine whether it is acting within the scope of its charitable mission.”

(rickwells.us) - On Wednesday, Senate Republicans introduced a bill designed to protect the states and American citizens from the climate-based power zealots at the EPA by overturning their most draconian regulations and making them nearly impossible to impose... The author of the bill, freshman Senator Shelley Moor Capito (R-WV) said, “Our bipartisan legislation would empower the states to protect families and businesses from electricity rate increases, reduced electrical reliability and other harmful effects of the president’s Clean Power Plan. Our bill would also require that any greenhouse gas standard set by the EPA for new coal-fired power plants are able to be achieved by commercial power plants operating in the real world.” Twenty-five Republican senators, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell (R-Ky.), who somehow mustered some rare courage to challenge nObama on this bill, vital to his own state, signed into the bill as co-sponsors. West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is also a cosponsor.        http://rickwells.us/enough-republicans-move-to-stifle-epa-tyranny-once-and-for-all-hope-for-people-who-like-electricity/

Comrades dinky Reid, nObama And McCon-nell Kiss, Make-Up
(rickwells.us) - The puppet masters have spoken and TPP is back on track, with Democrats now taking a page out of the Republican book, agreeing to separate pieces of legislation in order to provide themselves political cover to pass an anti-American stinker... Sen dinky Harry Reid (D-NV), who pretended to be pro-American for about as long as his battered body could take it, is now moving back towards his familiar position at the foot of Master Hussein. Ever the obstructionist, dinkyReid will now turn his skills back to their “rightful targets,” the American people. dinky Reid is joining with nObama and his pseudo-Republican allies, led my Mitch McCon-nell (R-KY), John Cornyn (R-TX) and Orrin Hatch (R-UT) in incrementally moving a devastatingly bad deal for the American people forward, one which they will ultimately pass under the excuse that “there was more good in it than bad,” or other such nonsensical blather under the protection of fast-track’s up or down vote only.      http://rickwells.us/secret-tpp-stinks-comrades-reid-obama-and-mcconnell-kiss-make-up-get-back-to-shovelling/

Tucker Carlson Suggests Ending Muslim Immigration
(Brenda Walker) - It’s pretty amazing that with all the news about the threat of hostile Islam to our freedom, very few people mention that it got here through immigration... Is it too rude to suggest that the historical enemies of the West not be welcomed inside the gates by the hundreds of thousands? We know that Muslims complain constantly about their tender feelings being hurt by cartoons and such, but they have plenty of acreage in dar al-Islam, with at least 49 Muslim-majority countries as counted by Pew. They can sharia to their heart’s content. Geography is wonderful that way. How hard is it to see that Muslim social norms of polygamy, child marriage, misogyny and religious supremacism are not a good fit with western freedom? And that’s even without the mass-murdering genocide stuff we now see in the Middle East.        http://www.vdare.com/posts/tucker-carlson-suggests-ending-muslim-immigration-to-protect-america

Vatican recognizes state of Palestine in new treaty
Vatican recognizes state of Palestine in new treaty
(nypost.com) - The Vatican officially recognized the state of Palestine in a new treaty finalized Wednesday, immediately sparking Israeli ire and accusations that the move hurt peace prospects... The treaty, which concerns the activities of the Catholic Church in Palestinian territory, makes clear that the Holy See has switched its diplomatic recognition from the Palestine Liberation Organization to the state of Palestine. The Vatican had welcomed the decision by the U.N. General Assembly in 2012 to recognize a Palestinian state. But the treaty is the first legal document negotiated between the Holy See and the Palestinian state and constitutes official diplomatic recognition. “Yes, it’s a recognition that the state exists,” said the Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi. So when did the Vatican got involve with politics? They should be doing the well of God in saving souls. How about going after ISIS.       http://nypost.com/2015/05/13/vatican-recognizes-state-of-palestine-in-new-treaty/

It Is Expected That ISIS Attacks On America Will Be Small Scale
(shoebat.com) - Small scale as in a single beheading of a Christian or Jew? Just a handful of people being slaughtered in the street?... Or small scale as in ‘small’ coordinated attacks on several cities/schools/buses/trains businesses at the same time? So why does Muslim commentator, Fareed Zakaria of CNN, seem to have the inside track on predicting the size of the expected ISIS terror attacks in this country?   http://shoebat.com/2015/05/13/good-news-it-is-expected-that-islamic-state-isis-attacks-on-america-will-be-small-scale/

CEI Report: 3,554 New Regulations in 2014
(Raven Clabough) - Further evidence of the federal government’s vast overreach can be found in a report out of the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) that reveals that over 3,500 new regulations were issued in 2014, while 224 new laws had been passed... According to the report entitled Ten Thousand Commandments, the cost of government regulations is $1.88 trillion per year, or $14,976 per every household. According to the CEI website, Ten Thousand Commandments is “the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s annual survey of the size, scope and cost of federal regulations, and how they affect American consumers, businesses, and the U.S. economy." Ten Thousand Commandments was authored by CEI Vice President for Policy Clyde Wayne Crews, Jr. in order to expose the growing “hidden tax” resulting from the increasing regulatory state.       http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/commentary/item/20872-cei-report-3-554-new-regulations-in-2014?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=f356de6907-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-f356de6907-289778381

Rand and Ted on the 4th Amendment
(Judge Andrew Napolitano) - A decision last week about NSA spying by a panel of judges on the United States Court of Appeals in New York City sent shock waves through the government... The court ruled that a section of the Patriot Act that is due to expire at the end of this month and on which the government has relied as a basis for its bulk acquisition of telephone data in the past 14 years does not authorize that acquisition. This may sound like legal mumbo jumbo, but it goes to the heart of the relationship between the people and their government in a free society.  FEDS 'CLUELESS' PC TERROR WARNING
(Leo Hohmann) - In a brief, cryptic article, CNN quoted NSA Director Mike Rogers saying the Islamic State’s online recruitment efforts are “increasingly resonating” with Americans... The article did not say what type of Americans were responding to the ISIS recruitment pitches. Nor did the article’s author ask Rogers to explain how or why ISIS is able to attract so many followers among American Muslims. Rogers’ admission that ISIS is offering a popular theology that “resonates” doesn’t square with repeated comments by President nObama that ISIS offers a warped version of Islam that the overwhelming majority of Muslims find repugnant. In fact, nObama said, ISIS’s brand of religious fanaticism isn’t Islamic at all. I am surprise he said that.     http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/nsa-chief-isis-increasingly-resonates-with-u-s-muslims/

Arab Allies Warn nObama About Dangerous Iran Nuclear Deal
(Julie Pace & Adam Schreck in Dubai) - Gulf nation leaders joined President Barack nObama at the White House Wednesday to warn of the risks of completing a nuclear deal with Iran. nObama was seeking to convince his counterparts of the potential benefits for the region... But when two days of talks wrap up on Thursday, it’s unlikely much will have changed. The Gulf’s skepticism of Iran is deep-seated and extends far beyond its nuclear pursuits. nObama, meanwhile, has invested too much in the Iran negotiations to let Gulf concerns upend his legacy-building bid for a deal. “My guess is that the summit is going to leave everybody feeling a little bit unsatisfied,” said Jon Alterman, the Middle East director at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.        http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/US-Obama-Arab-Summit/2015/05/13/id/644448/

What the West's long struggle
with communism tells us about the
battle with Islamic terrorism
There is a real danger that the situation might evolve into a great civil war been Shiite and Sunni Muslims
Michael Bliss
.
(jewishworldreview.com) - It won't surprise you that a historian believes the best way to begin to think about the unknowable future is to consider some of the things we have seen in the past. So to help understand the problem of Islamic fundamentalist or jihadist terrorism I suggest that we think a bit about our history with an earlier form of revolutionary ideology.
.
"A spectre is haunting Europe.... All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre." These are the opening lines of The Communist Manifesto, by Marx and Engels, published in 1848. In their view the spectre haunting Europe in the mid 19th century was that the wretched masses might rise up in violent revolution, replace monarchist or bourgeois governance with the dictatorship of the proletariat, and go on to create a beautiful, communist society.
.
The spectre of communism was haunting Europe. The bearded, bomb-throwing or president-assassinating anarchist became one of the stock boogeymen of the late 19th century. But the communist/terrorist spectre was not really a mainstream menace until the events of 1917 - when the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917 suddenly gave communism a territorial base, a base from which it hoped to instigate violent revolutions around the world.
.
The Bolsheviks did not gain power at all easily. Every kind of murder and every form of suffering seemed acceptable as the birth pangs of a new order. And not surprisingly, the revolutionary cause attracted acolytes ranging from vile murderers to starry-eyed idealists, including many drawn from other countries, some of them oppressed workers, others privileged intellectuals, infatuated with the dream of revolution.
.
Revolution in Russia also created a fear of Bolshevik subversion in countries around the world. Revolutionary movements briefly seized power in some jurisdictions, were suppressed in most others, and generated a climate of fear, confusion and authoritarianism characterized here in North America as the great Red Scare of 1919. No one quite knew how to combat communism as a domestic movement. No one knew how seriously to take it. No one knew exactly who the communists were and how they got to be that way.
.
In particular no one knew what to do about the relationship between communism and the much broader movement aimed at improving society that called itself socialism. Was Marxist revolutionary communism a terrible perversion of the noble ideals of socialism or was it a logical consequence of the worst weaknesses of socialist ideology? Depending on how that question was answered, socialists might be valuable, indeed leading allies in the resistance to Communism, or they might be seen as embryonic subversives to be watched and suppressed. What was the balance between security and civil liberties in the days of the Communist menace?
.
That debate was with us for many years. And then suddenly, and surprisingly, during the late 1980s the Communists and the threat they posed to other peoples went away. The generation now coming to maturity has virtually no experience of the years when the world wrestled with the spectre of Communism.
.      But now this generation in Europe, North America, and around the world is being haunted by the spectre of Islamic fundamentalism, or jihadist terrorism, or ISIS or ISIL, or whatever it becomes politically correct to call it. And that challenge has to be faced as surely as the Bolshevik/Communist challenge had to be faced.
.
Surely the history of the struggle against Communism in the 20th century supplies us with some markers for dealing with the spectre of Islamic terrorism in the 21st century
.
As a historian I have all sorts of skepticism about simplistic notions that history repeats itself or that the lessons of history are easy to discern and apply, but I do believe that the experiences we have had in the past have to be drawn upon as we consider options for dealing with recognizably similar problems in the present and future. Surely the success of ISIL in Iraq and Syria in 2014 has real parallels with the coming to power of Bolshevism in Russia in 1917. Surely the history of the struggle against Communism in the 20th century supplies us with some markers for dealing with the spectre of Islamic terrorism in the 21st century.
.
One "lesson" from this past is to be careful not to underestimate the strength and appeal of a radical, messianic movement with deep cultural roots. Like Bolshevism, ISIL has immediately become engaged in a hugely complicated, multi-faceted set of local wars as it tries to consolidate its power. Like Bolshevism it is utterly and appallingly ruthless in its cold-blooded determination to create what it calls the new caliphate. And, also like Bolshevism, the ideology of apocalyptic revolution is proving to be a kind of magnet for true believers everywhere, who make pilgrimages to ISIL territory to fight for their great cause. This should not surprise us. Nor should we be surprised that ISIL-spawned or affiliated Islamic fundamentalist movements are active in many other countries, and might well succeed in taking power in other failed states, ranging from Libya and Yemen through, most worrisomely, Nigeria, and perhaps Afghanistan and even Pakistan. We are dealing at one and the same time with a territorially-based mini-state leading a boundariless international movement.
.
Given this situation, it's perhaps no wonder that a coalition of the enemies of ISIL quickly formed and became active in trying to degrade and destroy it. Here the haunting danger is of a repetition of the failed Allied intervention in the Russian Revolution, a destructive fiasco characterized by our almost complete ignorance of a far-off area of the world, strategic incoherence in the face of social collapse and revolution, and the West's naive habit of claiming moral high ground.
.
So far, the signs seem to be that we in the West are again stumbling blindfolded into a vastly complex and chaotic situation with only simplistic, confused and uninformed ideas of our objectives and interests. As with the Allied interventions in Siberia, in which Canada played a significant role in the hope of showing off its potential as a young nation, and actually only showed an almost pathetic naivité, there is a distinct possibility that in the short, medium, and long terms we will succeed only in making things worse.
.
Admittedly, the situation is changing so quickly that it's quickly becoming almost impossible to keep track of it - particularly as the chaos in Yemen seems to be forcing moderate Islam to become militarily engaged for the sake of its own survival. There is a real danger that the situation might evolve into a great civil war been Shiite and Sunni Muslims.
.
Generally, it's probably wise to be cautious in situations in which it might seem like a good idea for the West to wage war against Islamic fundamentalism. We should remember how enthusiastic anti-Communists tended to overreach themselves, from the Korean peninsula through the Bay of Pigs and into the swamps of Vietnam. Already the West has stumbled dreadfully in Afghanistan and in the unbelievably disastrous American invasion of Iraq. With our NATO partners we Canadians were enthusiastically complicit in what we now realize was also a disastrous demolition of order, perhaps even of civilization, in Libya. And yet we still listen to voices urging us to do it all over again, and have just begun airstrikes in Syria without legal justification.
.
Here at home, jihadist terrorism poses about the same minimal threat to Canada as the international Communist movement did after 1917. We have to think seriously about issues of internal security, but we have to see them in perspective.
.
Globally, however, the problem is real. Given the appeal of Islamic fundamentalism to even a minuscule fraction of more than a billion Muslims, it is hard to believe that jihadism will be a passing movement, even if it does happen that ISIL is crushed. It's at least as likely that it will continue to strengthen and spread, take hold of other countries and possibly become caught up in horrendously catastrophic wars and revolution. The prospect is very scary, and almost anything could happen. In fact in some ways Islamic fundamentalism is more alarming than Communist fundamentalism or the other totalitarian movement we had to defeat, Nazi fascism, because its religiously-rooted glorification of suicide makes terrorism, even nuclear terrorism, more feasible.
.
The West's long-term strategy against the spectre of Communism was twofold. Militarily the West learned that containment of Communist expansionism was more likely to succeed than futile attempts at conquest. Thanks to the reciprocal restraint that the Communists themselves learned to adopt, for many years there was tacit co-existence between the two great ideological camps, odious as this prospect was to the true believers on both sides.
.
During periods of coexistence, both sides had to address the root cause of most forms of social disorder, which is people's inchoate but powerful desire for a better life. As the 20th century wound on, utopian Communism proved corrupt and unworkable in daily life, materialistic capitalism proved flexible and productive, and the Red threat to the economic and social systems of our societies waned and then imploded on itself. As the title of a famous anthology by former Communists put it, theirs had been the god that failed. But, to slightly change the metaphor, it had been a social experiment that probably had to be tried.
.
I've made here an extended argument hinging on an analogy between revolutionary Communism and revolutionary Islamic fundamentalism, and of course it has many limits. But if nothing else our history with the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 and the rise of ISIL in 2014 underlines the importance of our realizing how much we need to know about cultures and regions of the world that are profoundly foreign to ours. And how we need to think clearly and carefully about power, its uses, both at home and abroad, and its limitations. Good intentions - the best intentions - are never enough. Understanding the limits of our knowledge, understanding context and contingency, knowing how hard and chancy it is to impose our will on the future, is at least a starting point.

Obama’s Nuke Deal Gets Loads of Skepticism

Once Barack Obama signs his deal with Iran, that’s it. Re-imposing sanctions or striking down the nuclear deal will become very hard — even if Iran does weaponize its nuclear program. On Thursday, Congress passed its resolution watering down its role in treaty negotiation by requiring a 30-day review of Obama’s treaty before voting on it. Essentially, Obama’s deal can be struck down only by veto-proof majorities in Congress.

Finally, Obama hosted leaders of countries in the Persian Gulf at Camp David Thursday, trying to assure them that this nuclear deal is in their best interest. But after reading the joint statement released after the meeting, Charles Krauthammer said, “That was a prepared statement for a summit that is meant to assure the Gulf Arabs that we’re not selling them out. That was a sellout announcement. … They should be terrified.” Another win for Obama.

The DOJ Is on a Mission to Stop Racist Pollution

Under the current administration, we’ve come to expect an ideologically activist Department of Justice that seeks out instances of pollution and racism and acts accordingly. But when the DOJ looks for instances where pollution itself is racist, the department veers into injustice. National Review’s Roger Clegg pointed out a DOJ publication that touted this approach in its spring edition. According to a memorandum issued by Bill Clinton during his administration: “In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, each Federal agency shall ensure that all programs or activities receiving Federal financial assistance that affect human health or the environment do not directly, or through contractual or other arrangements, use criteria, methods, or practices that discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin.” That means if an organization receiving federal funds — like a city government — needs to somehow affect the environment, it needs to justify that it’s not racist to boot. Justice thus assumes that creating a landfill or creating a facility that deals with harmful chemicals in a certain location may have racist intent when in fact the intent may be purely economic. Furthermore, labeling neighborhoods “black” or “white” fails to take into account their evolution, as when they undergo white flight or gentrification. But never mind all this when social justice – rather than colorblind justice – is the DOJ’s ultimate goal. More…

No, Antarctica Is Not Experiencing Rapid Ice Melt

Antarctic sea ice is so expansive that researchers are exploring ways to avoid moreembarrassing mishaps. Writing in The Daily Caller, Michael Bastasch says, “50 scientists have gathered in Tasmania to discuss more accurate ways to predict Antarctic sea ice levels so researchers don’t get stuck in ice pack when traveling southward.” So it was richly ironic when CBS News reported this week that “Antarctica is melting from above and below.” The article, which documents a new alarming study on how global warming is supposedly eating away at the giant ice cap, begins with an outrageous claim — “It’s no secret that ice shelves in Antarctica are thinning” — and warns that “warming air temperatures and warmer ocean currents together could explain why the Antarctic Peninsula’s floating ice shelves are losing volume and becoming more vulnerable to collapse.” The truth? As of Wednesday, sea ice extent was breaking the previous record high set just last year, according to data from the National Snow & Ice Data Center, and the trend for decades now has been a steady increase in areal ice coverage. In fairness, the exception is the western portion of the continent, where ice is lagging behind the 1981-2010 average. But averages are based on the whole, not cherry-picked portions of the data. This is nothing more than selective outrage.

FEATURED RIGHT ANALYSIS

The Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda Approach to Foreign Policy

By Michael Swartz

2015-05-15-125db562_large.jpg

As a leading GOP presidential candidate and brother of the former president, Jeb Bush had to know he was going to be asked about Iraq sometime during the campaign. That “sometime” came this week as Megyn Kelly of Fox News asked him whether, “knowing what we know now,” he would have authorized the invasion of Iraq. Jeb used the answer to both speculate that Hillary Clinton would have done (in fact, did) the same thing and declare that, “if they’re trying to find places where there’s big space between me and my brother, this might not be one of those.”

The blowback was predictable, and he quickly walked back his answer, insisting he’d misheard the question. He did seem to answer the “knowing what we knew then” version. Now he says flatly, “I would not have gone into Iraq.”

Needless to say, there’s been a lot of debate about the fitness of the younger Bush’s initial answer. Conservatives ponder whether he needed a better one, made “a rookie mistake,” or was exactly right. There are also those who thought the question itself was “completely stupid.”

Bush had to go on, not “what we know now.” There was also Saddam Hussein’s established record of atrocities, belligerence and threats to U.S. interests. So, we eliminated a bloody dictator, the byproduct of which convinced Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi that he should abandon his own efforts at a WMD program.

Obviously, the “knowing what we know now” question is valid only as a hypothetical, since we cannot turn back the hands of time. But if we’re playing the hindsight game, we should also consider what the consequences of inaction might have been. Might Saddam Hussein now be a nuclear-powered menace? And might the region have already experienced its first nuclear calamity? We can only deal with the here and now, and the window of opportunity for taking action isn’t generally unlimited.

Indeed, as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger observed, “The analyst can allot whatever time is necessary to come to a clear conclusion; the overwhelming challenge to the statesman is the pressure of time. The analyst runs no risk. If his conclusions prove wrong, he can write another treatise. The statesman is permitted only one guess; his mistakes are irretrievable. The analyst has available to him all the facts; he will be judged on his intellectual power. The statesman must act on assessments that cannot be proved at the time that he is making them; he will be judged by history on the basis of how wisely he managed the inevitable change and, above all, by how well he preserves the peace.”

Surely the U.S. made irretrievable mistakes during the Bush years — primarily not fighting hard enough to win decisively quickly. The surge was all well and good, but it came years too late. And it likely will be many more years before any solution benefiting U.S. interests will take hold in the cradle of civilization. We didn’t call this the “Long War” for naught.

One thing that’s painfully evident from the last six years, however, is that Barack Obama is continuing to make irretrievable mistakes in Iraq. He squandered American blood and treasurewith his foolish pullout, and then tried to revise the story by blaming George W. Bush. History will be the judge of his results, and so far the progress has been lacking to the point where we are nearly back at square one — albeit with different tyrants in charge. Would ISIL have arisen from al-Qaida’s ashes if Obama hadn’t abandoned Iraq?

That brings us to another “what if” question that begs to be asked of the American people: If we knew in 2008 what we know now, would we have elected such a woefully inept and inexperienced commander in chief?

OPINION IN BRIEF

Charles Krauthammer: “Fast-track authority allows an administration to negotiate the details of a trade agreement and then come to Congress for a non-amendable up-or-down vote. In various forms, that has been granted to every president since Franklin Roosevelt. … Obama wants a deal. But he has utterly failed to bring his party along. It’s not just because for six years he’s treated all of Congress with disdain and prefers insult to argument when confronted with opposition, this time from Democrats like Elizabeth Warren. It’s also because he’s expended practically no political capital on the issue. … This is the Republicans' chance to demonstrate that they can think large by advancing an important strategic objective — giving substance to Obama’s as yet stillborn ‘pivot to Asia.’ I wouldn’t mind seeing Obama sunk by his own arrogance in intraparty fratricide over trade. But the issue is bigger than Obama. In 20 months, he will be gone. Asia will not. And it will get away from us if Republicans don’t step up and step in where Obama and the Democrats have failed.”

Non Compos Mentis: “If Freddie Gray’s killers walk you will see cops being killed in broad daylight. Many are being killed now. In self defense blacks must kill. If you can find the snake that bit you in the garden, any old snake in blue will do! Kill in self defense the one in blue who’s killing you!” —Dr. Mauricelm-Lei, a Black Panther and Ferguson organizer who describes himself as a “psychotherapist”

Dezinformatsia: “I made charitable donations to the [Clinton] Foundation in support of the work they’re doing on global AIDS prevention and deforestation, causes I care about deeply. I thought that my contributions were a matter of public record. However, in hindsight, I should have taken the extra step of personally disclosing my donations to my employer and to the viewers on air during the recent news stories about the Foundation. I apologize.” —ABC’s George Stephanopoulos

Village Idiots: “We have to have jobs for young people. I probably shouldn’t say this in a room like this, but occasionally when I go home I’ll sit down with some of the gang leaders back home in Chicago, and I ask them … ‘What’s the biggest impediment to getting your guys off the streets?’ It’s jobs. So we need to think about what we do at scale to create those kind of opportunities for young people who just have to make some money, want to do it in a positive way, but in too many places they don’t exist.” —Education Secretary Arne Duncan

Late-night humor: “Even the White House is weighing in on the deflate-gate scandal. [This week] they encouraged Tom Brady to ‘be mindful of the way he serves as a role model.’ And then President Obama stuffed out his cigarette and went golfing at noon on a weekday. … They would’ve said more, but there was a drunken Secret Service agent streaking across the Rose Garden.” —Jimmy Fallon

Nun: “ISIS is Islam; Islam is ISIS,” whoever denies this is “a liar”
