well I watched most of the Republican debate and my views about some candidates have changed some for the better some for the worst. first I always liked Rubio he seems solid and genuine with good ideas and a good moral background he was my favorite out of the debate he just stood his ground without trying to come across as over eager to put down other candidates unlike Ran Paul who seemed like he was trying to win a foot race by tripping the other runners. I did not like when Trump raced his hand about running on a third party which is how Clinton won his first turn against George bush when Ross Perot had done the same thing dividing the votes and then endorsing Clinton,
I wanted to like Trump but I think he has his own agendas in mind and is just telling us what he thinks we want to hear to get what he wants in an over the top manner.
I think Christie is to shaky, I think Bush is to undecided, I did not like Huckabee's answers when it came to faith. however I did come out liking Ted Cruz better with his answers and actually claiming Jesus as his savior. I did come out liking Carson somewhat more than before. one thing is for sure if the Republican party does not mess up this election one on them will be president. Obama has messed his party up for a while and the democrat have no one that can even come close to winning because they are to close to the current president but one thing is for sure we need to keep praying and definitely vote because this could be the most important election America has ever faced-the end.

{chrisskates.com} ~ Yesterday the United States Senate failed in its attempt to protect babies from being “crushed here and crushed there” as Dr. Nucatola casually described in the first undercover video of Planned Parenthood’s macabre tactics. It boggles the mind why Democrats employed the so called “nuclear option” in order to pass nObamacare with a simple majority vote, but Republican leadership didn’t feel the health crisis of infanticide was of adequate importance to do so in this instance. At the very least, could the measure to defund not have been attached to a bill that Democrats were strongly in favor of so that it might pass? Likewise we are told that after their summer break, Republicans will try some procedural maneuvers to stop federal funding to this repugnant organization. At least Republican leaders can salve their conscience secure in the knowledge that they “played fair” and that Senate order has been restored. It is emotionally devastating to consider how many tiny innocent skulls will be crushed in the interim. Never before has the impotence of this Congress been more starkly evident.
“It is our obligation to protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters and our grand-daughters from the absurd policies of a Republican Party that has lost its moral compass.”
Those were the words of Minority Leader dinky Harry Reid last evening as Republicans attempted to defund Planned Parenthood. So are we to accept that the mutilation of a baby in the womb is now the moral high ground? What type of moral compass is required for a politician to engage in such a perverse twisting of the meaning of words and the logical application of language? Nancy Pulosi meanwhile called outrage over the videos a “manufactured crisis”. Huh? If altering the morally sketchy late term abortion procedures in order to “harvest” body parts desired by the market is not a crisis, what is? If we cannot agree that what has been seen in these videos is immoral, one must wonder, what can we agree on as a nation? And regarding current Democrat party leadership, do words like “crisis” or “morals” even hold anything resembling their actual meaning anymore?
CLEVELAND — With just hours to go before the first presidential debate of the 2016 cycle a spate of new polls have shown up just ahead of the deadline.
Invitations to the Fox News/Facebook/Ohio Republican Party debate will be based on the most recent, methodologically sound polling of national Republican primary voters. In addition to a fresh poll from Fox News, pollsters for CBS News, and Bloomberg have dropped surveys ahead of the final tabulations.
The polls all agree that Donald Trump is a center-stage participant in the9 p.m. ET debate for the top ten. And for perennial top-flight candidates like Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz,Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul, knocking them off that stage would take a statistical cataclysm.
But for three candidates — Chris Christie, John Kasich, and Rick Perry— they can’t yet be sure whether they will be on at 9 p.m. or with the rest of the herd at a 5 p.m.
Will there be more data today? The clock is ticking. -Fox News
NPR: “…Military needs have driven food-preservation experiments for centuries. Canning, or bottling, was invented at the turn of the 19th century, when the French army offered a reward for someone who could invent a way to keep foods longer…But as author Anastacia Marx de Salcedo writes, the U.S. Army has taken this research to a whole other level. She says many food innovations trace back to the Natick Soldier Systems Center, a U.S. Army research complex in Natick, Mass. The federal laboratory investigates how to make soldiers’ rations taste good and last longer. She says its initiatives have led to the processed cheese that’s now found in goldfish crackers and Cheetos. The center is also behind longer-lasting loaves of bread and the energy bar, which was originally created to give worn-out soldiers a boost, she says.” -Fox News
WKMG: “[Melbourne, Fla.] police arrested a man who they say tried to rob churchgoers during a sermon, but was tackled by the church pastor.John Grace was arrested and charged with armed robbery and 20 additional charges in the Sunday morning incident at The Door Christian Fellowship Church on East Melbourne Avenue. Pastor Les Snodgrasstells Local 6 Grace had attended his church services before but was hardly a regular. During his sermon on ‘The Value of Life,’ he said Grace stood up and showed a gun…‘I just pushed against the wall with all my might,’ [Snodgrass said]. ‘I had him by the shoulders, and as soon as I did that, my son leapt from the platform into the air and pounced on him. He punched him twice in the head.’ Snodgrass said his wife held a stun gun to Grace until Melbourne police officers arrived and arrested him.” -Fox News
The results are based on an average of the five most recent methodologically sound public polls. The top 10 in the polling average will be asked to participate in a debate Thursday, August 6th, starting at 9 p.m. ET hosted by Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace.
The invitees:
Businessman Donald Trump, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, retired physician Ben Carson, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Kentucky Gov. Rand Paul, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
Those candidates who meet the criteria other than polling but whose names have been routinely offered by national pollsters will be asked to participate in a debate Thursday, August 6th at 5 p.m. ET hosted by Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum.
The invitees: Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, businesswoman Carly Fiorina, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, former New York Gov. George Pataki, former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore.
Surveys included in the average were conducted for Fox News, Bloomberg, CBS News, Monmouth University and Quinnipiac University. -Fox News

White House press secretary Josh Earnest insisted last week that the videos were “entirely inaccurate,” then admitted he hadn’t seen them and he was repeating Planned Parenthood’s own talking points. Earnest said they were “selectively edited.” If you’re inclined to believe that, watch one yourself.

TOP RIGHT HOOKS
Stopping the Clean Power Plan Will Save $2.5 Trillion
After more than a year of waiting, Barack Obama this week unveiled the final iteration of the Clean Power Plan, the EPA’s biggest environmental regulation issued to date. According to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy, the estimated annual cost by 2030 will be $8.4 billion. But as with all government estimates, that number largely omits a comprehensive examination of the economic toll. When it comes to Obama’s agenda, we’re usually talking figures in the trillions of dollars, and this particular regulation is no different. A Heritage Foundation study published last month found that, by 2030, the Clean Power Plan will result in “[a] loss of more than $2.5 trillion (inflation-adjusted) in aggregate gross domestic product (GDP).” On the one hand, you have McCarthy advertising $8.4 billion in annual costs — a relatively minor expense all things considered — while on the other hand, an independent study puts that figure at $2.5 trillion over the next 15 years. The disparity is huge, and it can’t be blamed on a rounding error. Nor is it right-wing think-tank conspiracy. Take ObamaCare, for instance. What was originally calculated by the Congressional Budget Office to cost American taxpayers less than $1 trillion over a decade ballooned to more than $2 trillion, according to new CBO figures. You’ll discover a familiar trend with any government program. That’s why the most important thing Republicans can do is put a stop to the Clean Power Plan before it truly gets started.
Vacation Shows Obama Cocky in Iran Deal
The clock is winding down until Congress will vote in September to either approve or reject the nuclear deal the Obama administration struck with Iran. But despite nearly everyone in Washington taking vacation a month before the vote, the horse race must go on, and the speculation on how each lawmaker will vote is running rampant. House Republicans say they have enough votes to defeat the deal. Meanwhile, the Senate may be a handful of votes away from having a veto-proof consensus against the deal. The decision may come down to the heir to Democrat Senate leadership and supporter of Israel Chuck Schumer. As for Barack Obama, he’s confident that his foreign policy legacy is in the bag — at least for now. He will read a speech from a teleprompter at American University later today advocating the deal — echoing a speech John F. Kennedy made in 1963 — and then jet off to Martha’s Vineyard for a two-week vacation. In doing so, Obama is overestimating his oratorical chops and underestimating the opposition to the deal. Obama wants everyone to believe that if Congress rejects the deal war will come — illustrated by the fact that those who supported the Iraq war want this “peace” deal squashed. But Obama sits thousands of miles away from the situation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran would return to the negotiation table if this deal is rejected “because they need this deal.”
Hate Group Calls for Racial Violence — Where’s Obama?
The Nation of Islam was founded in 1930, and is now a wealthy and well-known black organization. But just how far out in left field is the group? They’re drunk and in the bleachers. Even the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, which specializes in identifying so-called hate groups — most of which just happen to be conservative, or at least neo-Nazi so they can pin it on conservatives — lists the Nation of Islam as a hate group. SPLC says, “[I]ts bizarre theology of innate black superiority over whites — a belief system vehemently and consistently rejected by mainstream Muslims — and the deeply racist, anti-Semitic and anti-gay rhetoric of its leaders, including top minister Louis Farrakhan, have earned the NOI a prominent position in the ranks of organized hate.”
In the latest quote for the file, Farrakhan recently told a crowd at Miami’s Mt. Zion Baptist Church, “I’m looking for 10,000 in the midst of a million. Ten thousand fearless men who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny. Death is sweeter than continuing to live and bury our children while the white folks give our killers hamburgers. Death is sweeter than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of a 400-year-old enemy. Death is sweeter. The Quran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breasts of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government won’t intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”
He’s talking about the deaths of a few black men at the hands of white police officers. And it sure sounds like he’s inciting violence. Will the Justice Department of Barack Obama, himself a disciple of hate, look into this?
FEATURED RIGHT ANALYSIS
CMP Continues to Turn Up the Heat on Planned Parenthood
By Nate Jackson

While Planned Parenthood’s $500 million in annual taxpayer funding survived a Senate vote Monday, there was a silver lining. In 2007, eight Republicans supported funding PP; Monday, just one did — Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois. And there are still seven unreleased videos from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) to turn up the political pressure. The fifth one dropped Tuesday.
On Monday, U.S. District Judge William Orrick, who raised $230,000 for Barack Obama, extended a temporary restraining order against the release of some video material until the end of the month. National Abortion Federation and its members claim they will suffer harassment and possibly violence due to their part in the videos, and a hearing will take place Aug. 27 on a possible permanent injunction.
According to The Hill, “A lawyer representing The Center for Medical Progress said it would abide by Orrick’s order, noting the materials barred from release in the ruling represented ‘a small percentage’ of its overall collection.” The delay also happens to ensure the videos stay in the news even longer.
In related news, federal Judge B. Lynn Winmill threw out an Idaho law prohibiting undercover video of agricultural facilities by animal-rights activists on the grounds that “food and worker safety are matters of public concern.” Is that any less true of the hundreds of thousands of babies aborted each year by an organization hauling in half a billion in taxpayer dollars?
And, so, the fifth video (GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING).
It begins with PP President Cecile Richards insisting, “Planned Parenthood makes zero profit on any fetal tissue donations.”
But Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, explains that harvesting provides a good “revenue stream” for PP, which “contributes so much to our bottom line.” She notes, “If we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, we can make it part of the budget that any dissections are ‘this,’ and splitting the specimens into different shipments is ‘this.’ It’s all just a matter of line items.”
In fact, she admitted, “[W]e deviate from our standard in order to” obtain intact specimens. Furthermore, “Some of our doctors in the past have projects and they’re collecting the specimens, so they do it in a way that they get the best specimens, so I know it can happen.”
Doesn’t sound like mere expense reimbursement, does it?
According to CMP, “The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2). Federal law also requires that no alteration in the timing or method of abortion be done for the purposes of fetal tissue collection (42 U.S.C. 289g-1).”
It certainly seems clear from the video evidence that Planned Parenthood and other companies are engaged in illegal harvesting. Democrats in Congress will continue to look the other way and insist this is all about “women’s health,” but the truth is plain to see.
Finally, the video turns to the lab, where the undercover reporters ask for “fresh specimens” to determine their quality. A lab worker laughs, and says, “We had a really long day, and they’re all mixed up together in a bag.” She does manage to produce one of a set of 20-week-old twins (pulled from the freezer), and the technicians sort through lungs, intestines and limbs, while talking about how “organs come out really, really well — almost intact.”
If you aren’t appalled, you aren’t paying attention.
Project Lead David Daleiden elaborates on the significance: “This is now the fifth member of Planned Parenthood leadership discussing payments for aborted baby parts without any connection to actual costs of so-called tissue ‘donation.’ Planned Parenthood’s system-wide conspiracy to evade the law and make money off of aborted fetal tissue is now undeniable.” Daleiden continues, “Anyone who watches these videos knows that Planned Parenthood is engaged in barbaric practices and human rights abuses that must end. There is no reason for an organization that uses illegal abortion methods to sell baby parts and commit such atrocities against humanity to still receive over $500 million each year from taxpayers.”
Indeed, the videos reveal the banality of evil in a visceral way that the Left’s euphemisms deliberately attempt to obscure. It’s obvious that the Planned Parenthood workers know they’re dealing with something that’s at a minimum uncomfortable, because each videoed subject is at great pains to choose words carefully. And yet the technicians are calloused souls, who can laugh about body parts in a bag. There are seven more videos to go, and, if the pattern holds, they might be even worse.

OPINION IN BRIEF
Walter Williams: “The uninformed assumption made by judges, lawyers and academics is that but for the fact of racial and sex discrimination, we all would be distributed across occupations, educational backgrounds and other socio-economic characteristics according to our percentages in the population. Such a vision is absolute nonsense. … According to a recent study conducted by Bond University in Australia, sharks are nine times likelier to attack and kill men than they are women. Such a disproportionality leads to only one conclusion: Sharks are sexist. Another disturbing sex disparity is that despite the fact that men are 50 percent of the population and so are women, men are struck by lightning six times as often as women. Of those killed by lightning, 82 percent are men. I wonder what whoever is in charge of lightning has against men. Differences are seen by many as signs of inequality. Nobel laureate Milton Friedman put it best: ‘A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.’ Equality in conjunction with the general rules of law is the only kind of equality conducive to liberty that can be secured without destroying liberty.”
SHORT CUTS
Insight: “Most Americans aren’t the sort of citizens the Founding Fathers expected; they are contented serfs. Far from being active critics of government, they assume that its might makes it right.” —columnist Joseph Sobran (1946-2010)
Desperate to reframe the debate: “It’s a war on women’s health, it’s not about abortion. Planned Parenthood spends 97% of its dollars on non-abortion related services. … They serve 2.7 million people in America every year, 500,000 of those happen to be Hispanic. It is a very important health care organization, and this attack started from the day Planned Parenthood was founded in 1916, when the founder of Planned Parenthood was arrested for trying to distribute birth control to poor women. So it’s a constant battle here. I can’t believe in this century we are still battling against women’s health.” —Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) (Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a eugenicist — hardly someone to look up to.)
Alpha Jackass: “It’s our responsibility in the Senate to assure that American women have access to care. It’s our obligation to protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters, our granddaughters — protect them from the absurd policies of a Republican Party that’s lost its moral compass.” —Harry Reid on the GOP effort to defund Planned Parenthood
Demo-gogues: “I will defend Planned Parenthood. I think a lot of this attack, to be honest with you, comes from people who simply do not believe that a woman should have a right to control her own body. That’s the motive.” —Bernie Sanders, who added, “I have not seen the videos.” (The videos don’t exactly show a “woman’s body” being dissected in a petri dish and sold for spare parts, do they?)
And last… “Joe Biden was reported Friday seriously considering entering the race for the Democratic Party nomination for president. He doesn’t really need the job. After his term of office as vice president is over Joe Biden has a standing offer in Hollywood to play the villain in all the pepper spray commercials.” —Argus Hamilton

Mali: Islamic jihadists kill ten soldiers
August 5, 2015 9:30 am By Robert Spencer 1 Comment
Islamic jihadists took control of a large portion of Mali several years ago and established a Sharia state, but the French drove them out. They have, however, not given up. Ansar Dine means Helpers of the Religion. Not that this has anything to do with Islam. “10 soldiers killed in attack on Mali camp: military,” […]

Kerry: Rejecting deal would be “screwing” the ayatollah

Kerry asserts here that the deal makes it “physically impossible” for Iran to make a nuclear bomb. If everything Kerry says in this interview were true, it is hard to see why the Israelis or the Republicans would have the slightest objection to the deal. Their reading of the agreement with Iran differs sharply from […]

My 87 year old black Dad called to say he wanted to congratulate me for my perseverance. “You finally have me and all your siblings (4) agreeing with you.”
My deep desire is to alert my son, daughter and other non-political hard working Americans of the moral, spiritual and cultural evil threatening to overtake our great nation. No longer are we simply engaged in a battle of ideas – republican vs democrat – liberal vs conservative. America's choice of governing has become far more daunting – light vs darkness – good vs evil. “Choose ye this day, whom you will serve.”
Despite Leftist merchants of evil using big words and arrogant condescension to convince us that morality is relative, we instinctively know some things are good and some things are bad. Equally annoying is Leftists' air of superiority – claiming to care more than us commoners about equality, saving the planet and all life; their evil intentions hidden beneath a shroud of faux compassion.
Leftists have what I call their no-pictures-please policy. They get fuming mad whenever anyone accurately describes, visualizes or shows pictures of procedures and behaviors the Left has demanded that Americans embrace. For example: Leftists want women to freely kill their babies all the way up to moments before birth. The last thing they want the public to see is video of the partial birth abortion procedure.
Yes, I am unequivocally saying liberals/Democrats (Leftists) are forcing their evil agenda down America's throat. “Forcing” is exactly what the Left is doing. Americans typically vote against Leftists' desire to make abhorrent behavior mainstream and transforming America into a welfare state. Leftists send in their activist judges to overturn the will of We the People. After verbally slapping us around calling us racist, sexist and homophobic, Leftist judges make what the people voted against into law.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, …, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” As I lay out the facts, you judge for yourself.
Videos exposing Planned Parenthood's inhuman thriving baby-body-parts-are-us business have horrified the nation. Americans are demanding that government stop giving PP $500 million a year of taxpayers' money.
Well, guess where the majority of PP chop shops are located? Black neighborhoods. PP founder Margaret Sanger pulled no punches. PP was started to deal with “the negro problem.” Sanger believed blacks were inferior and bred too often. Black abortions are disproportionately higher than whites.
Blacks who have not been seduced by the dark side are sounding the alarm letting blacks know they are aborting themselves into extinction. www.blackgenocide.org A billboard in a black neighborhood read, “The Most Dangerous Place for An African-American Is in the Womb.” Guess who was outraged and demanded the billboard be taken down? Al Sharpton and other assorted Leftists who claim to be advocates for blacks.
Sharpton is leading the charge in the hate inspired “Black Lives Matter” movement; founded on the lie that white cops routinely murder blacks. I guess black baby lives do not matter to Sharpton when they are killed by his Leftists homeys at PP.
Here's another thing that causes one to scratch their head. Leftists are fanatical about protecting the rain-forest. They say it may hold a cure for AIDS. And yet, most Leftists are obsessed with killing babies. Even after a baby survives a failed abortion, Leftists demand that medical staff let the baby die. Amazingly, a law had to be passed to end this barbaric practice. Why haven't Leftists considered the possibility that the doctor or researcher with a cure for cancer, AIDS and other diseases may have been among the 55 million babies aborted in America since 1973.
Leftists are defending PP black marketing baby body parts. And yet, these same Leftists are tearfully outraged over the death of a furry animal and fight to their death to protect trees and imprisoned cop killers. There is something seriously wrong in people who possess such a mindset.
Good morning Ma'am. We appreciate your patronage over the years. However, our religious conscience prevents us from baking a wedding cake for your marriage to a woman. I imagine this is pretty much how the conversation went. Well, all heck broke loose. Christian bakers Aaron and Melisa Klein had to close down their shop and state ordered to pay a lesbian couple $135,000 in absurd damages.
Check this out folks. America rallied behind the Kleins and started a donations account. When the account reached $100,000, homosexuals pressured Go-Fund-Me into shutting down the account – claiming Go-Fund-Me was supporting hate.
Okay, so first homosexual activists fined the Kleins $135k. Then, they attempted to block efforts to pay the fine. So, the fine is not about paying the lesbian couple, it is about destroying the Kleins. In essence, Leftists want to hang the Kleins' economically bloody carcass in the public square as a warning to Christians who refuse to betray their faith. Can you say an assault on Christians' constitutional “free exercise of religion”, boys and girls?
Scripture says “no weapon formed against us shall prosper” and “what they meant for evil, God meant for good.” The Kleins' account has reached $372,000, thus far. Praise God!
The Kleins have five kids with whom they planned to leave their business. Leftists have other plans for the Klein family.
Dad calling me about his and my siblings' conversion was really cool. However, I am constantly thinking and praying for wisdom to awaken fellow blacks and other Americans continuously played by Leftists. I rest in the knowledge that surrendering to evil is the only way we fail.
Interviewers have asked on numerous occasions, “How do you endure the name calling and hate you receive as a black conservative Republican?” I reply, “It is easy because I know I am on the right side....God's.”

In this day and age, laws change quickly…what is law today may not be so tomorrow and what isn’t law today could well become law by tomorrow morning but some laws, on the books for nearly a century, remain as pointed and relevant now as they were then.
Case in point…the Espionage Act of 1917.
In that act, it clearly states that…“gross negligence” as per the handling of any information regarding our national defense national is a punishable offense…a crime…and as such, should national defense information be removed from or not stored properly. If such information is not stored in its “proper place of custody,” the responsible government official would face a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment.
Hello Hillary Clinton.
While one certainly knows that in 1917, the “proper place of custody” was a file cabinet or a safe and that those who wrote and enacted the Act never in their wildest dreams considered the advent of email…government servers, not one’s private servers located in one’s home in Chappaqua N.Y. are the “proper places of custody” today and in that regard…Hillary Clinton and her use of private email addresses and said servers is in breach of the 1917 Act.

Vice President loose lips Joe Biden seems to be getting serious. On the heels of a NYT report Saturday that said Biden was seriously considering another presidential run, a former aide to loose lips Biden’s late son Beau Biden announced Sunday he is set to join the Draft Biden super PAC. Josh Alcorn is described by the AP as the younger loose lips Biden’s “top political and fundraising” aide from Delaware. Alcorn’s move, coupled by the revealing write from NYT’s Maureen Dowd on Beau’s urgent dying wish for his father, signals the serious tip the vice president may actually take the plunge into the race. Once again wielding his pen in an attempt to cement his legacy, President nObama will finalize an EPA rule today that imposes deep cuts in carbon dioxide emissions from the country’s power plants. Despite political opposition and the virtual certainty of legal challenges from states and industry, the president is upping the ante by announcing steeper reductions – almost a third of 2005 level carbon emissions – than previously floated. Reaction from Republican 2016 candidates to the rule was swift, with several accusing the president of pandering to Democratic “environmentalist billionaires.” -Fox News

♦ The latest examples of people walking around in public without their brains was presidential candidate Martin O’Malley apologizing to an audience of boorish blacks for insisting that all lives matter when by this time every liberal understands that only black lives matter. If he at least had some guts to make up for his lack of brains, he might have said, “If black lives matter so much, why don’t you do something about all those young black thugs killing blacks in your neighborhood, instead of wasting everyone’s time whining about cops and white people?”
♦ Proving that he’s every bit the bonehead ex-Gov. O’Malley is, Seattle’s Mayor Ed Murray, having been told that according to Sharia law, Muslims aren’t allowed to pay interest on loans, wishes to offer Muslims in his hometown interest-free home loans, leaving it to Seattle’s suckers to pony up the difference.
Frankly, I suspect he’s got it wrong. I expect that Muslims, as it is with orthodox Jews, who aren’t supposed to charge their fellow Jews interest, Muslims are allowed to pay interest on home loans and are just hoping that nobody sets Mayor Murray straight.
♦ Speaking of Muslims, isn’t it time that when someone named Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez opens fire on a Marine recruiting office, we accept that it’s an Islamic act of terrorism without having to wait for a psychological profile to confirm what we all already know?
♦ In the meantime, the Great Satan who resides in the White House, who saw fit to bathe the place with colored lights in celebration of the Supreme Court’s latest brain freeze, waited five days before caving in to public pressure and ordering that flags be lowered in honor of the sailor and the four Marines murdered by young Abdulazeez.
♦ Proving that the folks at the Department of Defense are as dense as bricks, but not nearly as useful, the solution they came up with to prevent future carnage at military recruitment centers is that Marines wear civvies on the job. Apparently Washington bureaucrats think that Muslims are as stupid as they are. Do they really believe that when the next jihadists show up at the mall, they’ll simply drive by and then go home, fooled by the fact that the folks sitting at the desks inside aren’t wearing their uniforms?
♦ America doesn’t need a he-man like Vladimir Putin in the Oval Office. We don’t need a bare-chested hunter of bears, a man who swims in icy waters or a guy who rips Moscow telephone books in half. We do need a president who thinks all American lives matter, not just those of blacks, Hispanics and Muslims. We need a person who is more concerned with America’s future than with his legacy, more concerned with our best interests than with Cuba’s and Iran’s.
What we have in Barack nObama is an underachieving fruitcake who came into office believing, mistakenly, that America required a radical transformation. What we require of the next president is that he’ll understand that eight years later, America will desperately need to be radically transformed back to the way it used to be.
♦ I doubt that any of my readers are dumb enough to take the bet, but I am giving odds that next year’s Nobel Peace Prize will be shared by hanoi John Kerry and Mohammad Javad Zarif. (Are all of those schmucks named Mohammad?)
♦ I had my own problems with George W. Bush. Mainly, they revolved around the way he conducted the Iraq War, not that he waged it. I objected to the fact that he forced the military to fight with one arm tied behind its collective back. I refer to the fact that he wouldn’t allow mosques to be bombed even though we knew Saddam Hussein was using them as armories and barracks, forcing our soldiers to fight pitched battles in the streets. And let us not forget that, according to Bush’s book of wartime etiquette, we were required to re-build every damn building almost as soon as we knocked it down.
I was willing to give him points for his highly publicized greetings of returning vets at the Dallas airport and his visits to military hospitals and even his annual bike rides with wounded vets, although I never lost sight of the fact that if he’d conducted a different kind of war maybe so many of them wouldn’t have been wounded, or worse, in the first place.
It didn’t help that he was also the jackass who seemed to devote every waking hour to telling us that Islam was a religion of peace.
But ever since the AP reported that in 2012, he gave a speech on behalf of a Texas-based military charity called Helping a Hero, charging them $100,000, and an additional $20,000 for the private jet ferrying him to and fro, I have begun to understand why he and Bill (ka-ching) Clinton seem to get along so well.
Lest you think he is really hard up financially, it seems that since leaving office in 2009, Bush has given at least 200 other speeches, earning him in excess of $30 million. That’s not counting the book deals.
♦ But that is the sort of nation we have become. Our ex-presidents, and some of their wives, seem to think they should be as rich as Midas.
But perhaps we shouldn’t expect anything better. After all, if you take a long hard look at America, you’ll find that we have a website dedicated solely to adulterers looking to link up. The garbage pail known as the Internet is full of pedophiles buying and selling child pornography. And just about every day some outfit is sending me email promising to enhance my ------.
We have devolved from a once-great nation to an open sewer without borders, a functioning military, and a Constitution that’s treated like toilet paper by the president and five members of the Supreme Court.
Sometimes, I swear, it’s only the hope of one day having an enhanced ----- that keeps me going.

Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty.

Fellow Americans, our world can be at peace, if we respect the rights of our fellow Americans and others countries; we cannot continue being the world’s pirates who are motivated by greed and power to rob other countries of their natural resources and enslave Americans and humanity.
America has become the world’s bully, the Pirates that in partnership with the elite of the western world are waging a private warfare, a campaign of piracy and pillage against the world and the American people; they are criminals that plan and destroy any nation for economic gain. The world community must regard them as "hostis humani generis", the enemies of humanity. The head of these countries that are engage on the undermining of any legitimate elected government, or form or orchestrate any acts to gain the public support of the people of their country to invade or make wars with another country; must be arrest and prosecute as criminals against humanity.
Today and for the last decade, people are dying in the Middle East. Thousands more will die before the year is out; it doesn't matter that some are Palestinians, Israelis, Iraqis or Americans. It doesn't matter that some are soldiers or civilians; all are ordinary people who want to live their lives in peace, but all are victims of leaders such as George Bush, Obama, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, David Cameron, Chancellor Angela Merkel and many others who are puppets of a sinister force that uses war to murder and enslave mankind.
All wars are against humanity. For example, almost 60 million people died in the Second World War. The "leaders" on both sides were groomed and armed by the same sinister force. This force consists of the shareholders of the Federal Reserve and the European Central Banks, dynastic families that include the Warburgs, Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Loebs, Lehmans, Morgans, Schiffs, Schroders, Harrimans and members of the European aristocracy. These people control much of the world's wealth but they want it all. The human race is one family. All wars are against humanity. The enemies were not Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden. It is the international financial elite, and their political puppets and news media “the propaganda machinery of the oligarchs war monger” that want control through the making of the one world order and the world’s economic blocks to control the world’s economic.
Let’s remind our political puppets and the media actors that we know they are reading from a fascist NW0 script and let's learn from other countries to respect our culture, religion and ideologies and most important the sovereignty of all countries of the world. Peace and prosperity will come to the world community by eliminating wars and replace it by economic cooperation and love for humanity. Wars are evil, all wars are designed to advance the financial interests of the elite and to control and enslave the civilian population. The human race is one family. All wars are against humanity. The enemy was not Saddam Hussein, Moammar Kadafi, Bashar al-Assad or Osama bin Laden. It is the international financial elite, and their political and media corrupt puppets.
George W. Bush and Tony L. Blair are war criminals.

Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood Dies in Senate
The Senate’s vote to defund Planned Parenthood seemed to be more about political optics than actually casting votes for the right thing. A bill that would have halted $500 million in annual federal funds from going to Planned Parenthood died when a procedural vote that required 60 votes fell short by seven. This raises questions: How serious are the Senate Republicans in protecting the lives of the unborn? Some GOP senators see this vote as testing the waters, possibly for a political cage fight come fall if the GOP gets enough backbone to attach a PP defunding measure to a spending bill and risk another government shutdown. Commentators like Leon H. Wolf see this vote as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell cowing to the slightest political pressure. By allowing the bill cosponsored by 45 Republicans to die on a procedure vote, McConnell allowed the status quo to remain and a handful of lawmakers were able to vote in a way that would please their constituencies. Meanwhile, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal canceled the contract between Planned Parenthood and Louisiana. Yes, changing the nation’s policy takes time — and the Center for Medical Progress has many more videos to prompt debate — but when the time comes for political courage, will McConnell’s Senate rise to the occasion?

Bad Leadership Sours DHS Immigration Program
At the beginning of July, the Obama administration started its Priority Enforcement Program, a new approach to how the administration enforces the immigration laws, but it’s soured by DHS’s past immigration enforcement track record. It’s a failure in leadership: Local law enforcement and even groups that would have supported Obama’s immigration policies don’t trust his new enforcement effort. The supervising attorney for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Angie Junck, told The Washington Post, “We see this as DHS kind of rebranding to rebuild the trust they lost with a lot of local law enforcement agencies. We are very concerned that it will repeat the mistakes of the past.” Does anybody gladly work with Obama on anything any more? He’s lost so much trust. No wonder so many cities decided to go it alone and declare themselves sanctuary cities. Home rule is better than rule from a capricious federal government that is rewriting immigration law on the fly by “prioritizing” certain types of deportations. The Obama administration has exacerbated the problems with immigration by destroying the cooperation and trust between levels of government.
Seattle CEO Experiences Fallout of $70K Minimum Wage
A Seattle CEO is learning firsthand the predictable outcomes that accompany minimum wage hikes. Dan Price, who heads Gravity Payments, a credit card processing firm, became an instant celebrity when he announced earlier this year that none of his 120 employees would earn less than $70,000 a year. In fact, he slashed his own salary of $1 million down to $70,000 to level the playing field. It was a kindhearted move, to be sure, but the ensuing months demonstrated the reality that such a minimum wage has far-reaching repercussions. According to former Gravity Financial Manager Maisey McMaster, Price “gave raises to people who have the least skills and are the least equipped to do the job, and the ones who were taking on the most didn’t get much of a bump.” The result? Two prominent-turned-disgruntled employees, including McMaster, called it quits. The other one, Grant Moran, intoned a similar frustration: “Now the people who were just clocking in and out were making the same as me. It shackles high performers to less motivated team members.” On top of that, The New York Times reports, “[A] few customers, dismayed by what they viewed as a political statement, withdrew their business. Others, anticipating a fee increase — despite repeated assurances to the contrary — also left.” And while Gravity Payments won the hearts of other business owners, “those accounts will not start paying off for at least another year,” the Times added. “To handle the flood, [Price] has already had to hire a dozen additional employees — now at a significantly higher cost — and is struggling to figure out whether more are needed without knowing for certain how long the bonanza will last.”
But the drama doesn’t end there. Gravity Payments co-founder Lucas Price, the brother of Dan, is suing the company, which is adding substantial legal costs. Hot Air’s Jazz Shaw put it best: “I’m sure Mr. Price is a very nice man and he clearly cares about people in general. But his move to push his generous nature into his business model is returning precisely the sort of results which the free market predicts.” The lesson here? Good intentions don’t always make for good policy.

Obama’s Clean Power Plan Is Costly Political Theater
By Paul Albaugh

On Monday, Barack Obama announced new rules for his long-dreaded Clean Power Plan. This past spring, we warned that Obama’s agenda to combat global warming would be finalized during the hottest days of summer. As with almost every other agenda under Obama, it’s even worse than expected — and all to prevent warming of 0.01 degrees Celsius.
Winston Churchill once said, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” And make no mistake: Obama’s plan has little or nothing to do with climate and everything to do with his social justice worldview, in which he wants to handicap the U.S. ostensibly to the benefit of the rest of the world.
Obama was originally set to unveil his new rules outside of the White House. However, due to the sweltering heat, he chose to move the announcement inside. Naturally, Leftmedia talkingheads couldn’t pass on the opportunity to blubber that “Mother Nature … was making his point for him.” But newsflash: It’s always hot in August. Clearly, the central planners were aiming for a bit of theatrics.
As for the details, according to The Wall Street Journal, the new rule “would require a 32% cut in power-plant carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 from 2005 levels, an increase from the 30% target proposed last year.” According to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy, the estimated annual cost by 2030 will be $8.4 billion. But keep in mind that government estimates are always low.
The new regulations will require states to create a plan to reduce power-plant emissions in order to reach the nationwide carbon reduction target. The state compliance plans are supposed to be completed by 2018, and states should reach their first targets for reduction by 2022. If a state doesn’t comply, then it will be forced by the EPA to adopt a federal plan.
The Journal further notes, “The final rule calls for the nation to get 28% of its electricity from renewable resources by 2030, versus roughly 13% last year. Industry experts say cutting carbon emissions 32% by 2030 will require billions of dollars in investments for new transmission lines that accommodate more solar and wind power and new pipelines to feed natural-gas-fired power plants, as coal becomes less important as a fuel.”
However, new pipelines for natural gas won’t be necessary. Obama has called natural gas a “bridge fuel” and has hailed its use as a way for the nation to move away from coal in the quest toward renewable energy. But the final version of Obama’s plan does not increase the use of natural gas; it maintains current levels. So he’s slamming the door shut on coal, and, while he’s at it, stopping the expansion of the use of natural gas. Obama’s leaving no room for more jobs to be created in the private sector.
But hey, since there will be new regulations to enforce, the EPA will need more manpower. Indeed, Obama’s EPA announced that it will hire an additional 800 new regulators. Obviously, 15,000 EPA workers aren’t enough to enforce the proposed regulations. It just shows how much Obama cares about creating jobs, right? Washington jobs, that is, which by the way will assist in putting private sector companies out of business for not complying with EPA demands. This is not quite what we would call the American Dream.
Neither is the cost of complying with the EPA’s proposal. Obama once admitted that, under his plan, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket. A study by the Energy Information Administration confirms that’s exactly what’s happening. If Obama’s plan is implemented, electricity prices will rise on average 4%, though some higher estimates predict increases of 12%-17%. Regardless, Americans will pay more, which doesn’t bode well for those struggling to make ends meet.
Yet the issue of climate change is more important to Obama than those struggling today. He wants it to be part of his legacy of fundamentally transforming America. Ahead of the climate change summit in Paris later this year, he wants to be seen as leading the way on combating emissions. He wants to be seen as the leader who saved the planet from capitalism. In addition, as with all issues, he wants environmental stewardship to be a divisive political game.
Why is it that liberal elites in the Democratic Party are portrayed as the authorities on all things environment? Why is it that conservatives and members of the Republican Party are portrayed as anti-science deniers, as haters of the environment, as if we delight in destroying the planet?
The short answer is that it gives an additional platform for Democrats. It provides an agenda for more control over how we live our lives. It becomes a wedge issue to drive votes in elections. And it pits state sovereignty against federal authority.
Fortunately, at least for now, many state governments have resisted the EPA power plan and Obama’s climate change agenda. Many state governments have insisted they will not comply, as it will ruin their economies. The issue will likely make it to the courts, and we hope the Supreme Court will rebuke the EPA once again, as it did in Michigan v. EPA. Liberty depends on reigning in the EPA, not emissions.

OPINION IN BRIEF
Thomas Sowell: “Many Republican voters are so disgusted with their party, especially over its repeated betrayals of them, and of the country, especially when it comes to immigration, that they are immediately attracted to anyone who voices the outrage they feel. Donald Trump has turned this opening phase of the 2016 primaries into The Donald Trump Show. All of this might be very entertaining, if this were not a crucial juncture in the history of the country and of the world. But, while all this political theater is going on, the world’s leading promoter of international terrorism — Iran — has gotten a ‘deal’ that all but guarantees that they will have nuclear bombs and, not just incidentally, intercontinental missiles to deliver them. … We can only hope that, somewhere among the many Republican candidates, there is someone who can, as president, make the hard decisions and take the hard steps required to undo the utter disaster that looms ahead, as a result of Barack Obama’s feckless foreign policies. If ever there was a time to carefully sift through all the aspiring Republican candidates, in hopes of finding just one who might be up to the superhuman task ahead, in order to head off a nuclear catastrophe, this is surely the time to look for a solid, wise and steadfast leader. A shoot-from-the-hip, bombastic show-off is the last thing we need or can afford.”
SHORT CUTS
Insight: “Our practical choice is not between a tax-cut deficit and a budgetary surplus. It is between two kinds of deficits: a chronic deficit of inertia, as the unwanted result of inadequate revenues and a restricted economy; or a temporary deficit of transition, resulting from a tax cut designed to boost the economy, increase tax revenues, and achieve … a budget surplus.” —John F. Kennedy (1917-1963)
Upright: “[A] deep-rooted culture of incompetence and corruption has made it virtually impossible for government to function fairly and efficiently. And because most government employees are shielded by layers of protection, they couldn’t care less. Never before in the history of this nation has there been a greater divide between a self-serving federal leviathan and millions of Americans… ‘Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem,’ Ronald Reagan reminded us during his inaugural address in 1981. Nothing’s changed since then, with one exception: It’s gotten far worse.” —Arnold Ahlert
Demo-gogues: “We only get one home. We only get one planet. There is no plan B. I don’t want my grandkids to not be able to swim in Hawaii, or not to be able to climb a mountain and see a glacier, because we didn’t do something about it.” —Barack Obama
Non Compos Mentis: “The Koran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government will not intercede in [the] affairs [of black Americans], then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling.” —Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan
The BIG lie: “This was a three-year effort by this fake group [Center for Medical Progress] to try to entrap doctors, and then splice and edit videos to make it look like they were doing something wrong, which they were not. … I think it’s really important to understand that [Congress' effort to defund Planned Parenthood] is about denying women access to health care in this country.” —Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards (Leave it to Ms. Richards to accuse CMP of splicing…)
And last… “Minnesota dentist Walter Palmer provoked world outrage for luring the popular Cecil the Lion off his African game preserve with a dead animal and then shooting him dead and beheading him. The entire world was horrified. It’s got ISIS seriously re-thinking their decision to take on white people.” —Argus Hamilton

Join us in daily prayer for our Patriots in uniform — Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen — standing in harm’s way in defense of Liberty, and for their families.
As more graphic, money-grubbing undercover videos of Planned Parenthood's for-profit aborted baby parts racket emerge thanks to the investigative work of the Center for Medical Progress, desperate Democrats are in full deflection mode. U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Mathews Burwell defended federal funding for Planned Parenthood this week by invoking the women's health shield. "What I think is important is that our HHS funding is focused on issues of preventative care for women, things like mammograms," Burwell told the House Education and Workforce Committee.
Just one teeny, tiny problem with this defense: It's a completely calculated fabrication.
The breast-cancer screening charade casts Planned Parenthood as a life-saving provider of vital health services unavailable anywhere else. You may recall that during the 2012 presidential cycle, nObama himself falsely claimed during a debate that the abortion provider administers mammograms to "millions" of women -- and liberal CNN moderator Candy Crowley let him get away with it.
On cue, Hollywood activists Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington all attacked the GOP ticket for wanting to "end" funding for "cancer screenings" by cutting off government subsidies for Planned Parenthood's bloody billion-dollar abortion business. _The celebrities in the White House and Tinseltown took their script straight from Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood's senior director of medical services, who purported to speak for countless women for whom Planned Parenthood is "the only way" they can gain access to mammograms. __(If the name sounds familiar, Nucatola is the same wine-swishing Josephine Mengele who was exposed on tape by the Center for Medical Progress two weeks ago lolling through a business lunch negotiating payments for aborted baby parts.)
Once again, it was undercover pro-life journalists who unmasked the truth.
An investigation of 30 Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 different states, conducted by pro-life group Live Action, confirmed that the abortion provider does not perform breast-cancer screenings. "We don't provide those services whatsoever," a staffer at Planned Parenthood of Arizona confessed on tape.
Planned Parenthood's Comprehensive Health Center clinic in Overland Park, Kan., admitted: "We actually don't have a, um, mammogram machine at our clinics."
Even the liberal Washington Post doled out a three (out of four) Pinocchio rating for the White House's mammogram lies. "The problem here is that Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms or even possess the necessary equipment to do so," the paper's resident fact-checker reported. "As such, the organization certainly does not 'provide' mammograms in the strict sense. Instead, its clinics provide referrals and direct low-income women toward resources to help pay for the procedure. These services are by no means unique to Planned Parenthood. In fact, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Cancer Society provide them, as well."
As I've pointed out previously, Planned Parenthood's purported "referral services" to outside mammogram facilities are negligible -- especially given the widespread availability of these and other free and low-cost breast and cervical cancer screening services across the country supported by both private and public grants.
Reluctant to do its job and just call out the president as an outright liar, The Washington Post fell short of giving nObama the full four-Pinocchio treatment for his Planned Parenthood mammogram propagandizing, but acknowledged that he has repeated the lies "too many times in one form or another for this to be considered just playing with words to generate a misleading impression."
The nObama HHS apparently needs to be reminded of its own review exposing the mammography deception. In June 2012, the agency responded to a request for information about how many Planned Parenthood clinics were certified to operate mammogram facilities. "Our search did not find any documents pertinent to your request," HHS told the Alliance Defense Fund.
Zip. Zilch. None. Nada.
Pro-life investigative journalist Lila Rose of Live Action has it right: "It is an alarming dereliction of duty that the Secretary of Health and Human Services refuses to view investigative reports that clearly demonstrate that Planned Parenthood, who receives close to half a million taxpayer dollars a year from the federal government, is engaged in the selling and trafficking of aborted baby body parts for profit," she said this week. "Ms. Burwell should be investigating Planned Parenthood, not covering for them."
Ladies, open your eyes and hearts. Watch the videos for yourselves. Get the facts. Unmask the lies. The cackling profiteers of Planned Parenthood don't care about your breasts. They're too busy putting price tags on the baby hearts, livers, lungs and limbs swirling around in bloody pie plates, stacked in their "research" labs, subsidized with your tax dollars and sold to the highest bidders. For "preventative care," of course.

Sweden: 30 grenade attacks in 6 months in Muslim-dominated Malmö
August 4, 2015 8:52 am By Nicolai Sennels 5 Comments
While the Swedish elite celebrates itself by calling the former Viking land a “humanitarian superpower” for letting in hundreds of thousands of Muslims within a handful of years, the country is falling apart. Recently there were four grenade explosions in Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city and famous for its high percentage of Muslim citizens, in […]

DHS chief: Don’t call it “Islamic extremism,” it has nothing to do with Islam

Johnson has said this before, on more than one occasion. And despite manifesting an abysmal ignorance of the contents of the Qur’an, Johnson claims to have read it, and that it reminds him of quintessential American values. More proof that he hasn’t really read it. Graham’s point is excellent: “Even more disturbing (and once again, […]

No Jihad in Gaza, Says George Washington U’s Nathan Brown
August 3, 2015 3:22 pm By Andrew Harrod 15 Comments
Current Middle East Studies Association (MESA) president and George Washington University political science professor Nathan Brown downplayed Hamas’s long history of terrorism on July 23 at the anti-Israel Jerusalem Fund think tank in Washington, DC. He and others on a panel titled “Gaza in Context: Broader Implications in the Palestinian Plight” claimed that the Islamic supremacism of Hamas and, increasingly, the Palestinian Authority (PA) is […]

President Obama, Sec. of State, John Kerry, and their USA negotiating team may be allowing the most terrorist nation in the entire world, the State of Iran, to develop with the ability to use 'NUCLEAR’ bombs against any of their other enemy nations.
Each American ‘MUST’ understand what President Obama, Sec. of State, John Kerry, and every Senator on Capitol Hill who votes ‘AYE’ in approving the USA – Iran Nuclear bomb agreement.
President Obama, Secretary John Kerry, and Iranian officials within the State of Iran are attempting to deny, even our American leaders, from knowing some of the incidentals, ‘maybe deadly’ to the State of Israel, other American allies, and/or the USA itself, within this Agreement.

“As long as we’ve got to fight to make sure women have access to quality, affordable health care, and as long as we’ve got to fight to protect a woman’s right to make her own choices about her own health, I want you to know that you’ve also got a president who’s going to be right there with you, fighting every step of the way…Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you.” – Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s 2013 words said during a speech at one of their events
Abortion is legal in this country with the right of a woman to have an abortion being upheld by the courts on the local, state, and federal levels. And that must be kept in mind by those on both sides of the abortion issue for while this is not an article on the moral or religious rights and wrongs of abortion, it is an article about how what should have remained a states issue now has become a federal issue as our taxpayer dollars are being used…and have been used since 1970…to aid Planned Parenthood in their performing of almost half a million abortions a year…of performing one-third of all U.S. abortions.
Planned Parenthood…America’s premier abortion mill…and the very group that actively lobbies against abstinence-only education in our nations public schools…has always had a somewhat dubious reputation as its founder, Margret Sanger, believed that blacks and the poor were “unfit” to reproduce…and basically founded it as a way to ‘eliminate’…if you will…the black race in America. Now bringing the word ‘dubious’ to a new level, Planned Parenthood is under the microscope…they claim…for just trying to help women who want to ‘donate’ fetal tissue for legitimate medical research. But nothing could be further from the truth as Planned Parenthood is being paid monies for the organs it takes from aborted babies…directly contradicting the very word they use…’donated’…meaning given for free.
nObama’s first hope was to reach a deal with his Iranian friends that would leave the Assad regime in place. But the Iranians blew him off.
They know they don’t need a deal with nObama to secure their interests. nObama will continue to help them to maintain their power base in Syria though Hezbollah and the remains of the Assad regime without a deal.
Iran’s cold shoulder didn’t stop nObama. He moved on to his Sunni friend Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
Like the Iranians, since the war broke out, Erdogan has played a central role in transforming what started out as a local uprising into a regional conflict between Sunni and Shiite jihadists.
With nObama’s full support, by late 2012 Erdogan had built an opposition dominated by his totalitarian allies in the Muslim Brotherhood.
By mid-2013, Erdogan’s Muslim Brotherhood- led coalition was eclipsed by al-Qaida spinoffs. They also enjoyed Turkish support.
And when last summer ISIS supplanted al-Qaida as the dominant Sunni jihadist force in Syria, it did so with Erdogan’s full backing. For the past 18 months, Turkey has been ISIS’s logistical, political and economic base.
According to Brett McGurk, the State Department’s point man on ISIS, about 25,000 foreign fighters have joined ISIS in Syria and Iraq. All of them transited through Turkey.
Most of the antiquities that ISIS plunders in Iraq and Syria make their way to the world market through Turkey. So, too, most of the oil that ISIS produces in Syria and Iraq is smuggled out through Turkey. According to the US Treasury, ISIS has made $1 million-$4m. a day from oil revenue.
In May, US commandos in Syria assassinated Abu Sayyaf, ISIS’s chief money manager, and arrested his wife and seized numerous computers and flash drives from his home. According to a report in The Guardian published last week, the drives provided hard evidence of official Turkish economic collusion with ISIS.
Due to Turkish support, ISIS has become a self-financing terrorist group. With its revenue stream it is able to maintain a welfare state regime, attracting recruits from abroad and securing the loyalty of local Sunni militias and former Ba’athist forces.
Some Western officials believed that after finding hard evidence of Turkish regime support for ISIS, NATO would finally change its relationship with Turkey. To a degree they were correct.
Last week, nObama cut a deal with Erdogan that changes the West’s relationship with Erdogan.
Instead of maintaining its current practice of balancing its support for Turkey with its support for the Kurds, under the agreement, the West ditches its support for the Kurds and transfers its support to Turkey exclusively.
The Kurdish peshmerga militias operating today in Iraq and Syria are the only military outfits making sustained progress in the war against ISIS. Since last October, the Kurds in Syria have liberated ISIS-controlled and -threatened areas along the Turkish border.
The YPG, the peshmerga militia in Syria, won its first major victory in January, when after a protracted, bloody battle, with US air support, it freed the Kurdish border town of Kobani from ISIS’s assault.
In June, the YPG scored a strategic victory against ISIS by taking control of Tal Abyad. Tal Abyad controls the road connecting ISIS’s capital of Raqqa with Turkey. By capturing Tal Abyad, the Kurds cut Raqqa’s supply lines.
Last month, Time magazine reported that the Turks reacted with hysteria to Tal Abyad’s capture.
Not only did the operation endanger Raqqa, it gave the Kurds territorial contiguity in Syria.
The YPG’s victories enhanced the Kurds’ standing among Western nations. Indeed, some British and American officials were quoted openly discussing the possibility of removing the PKK, the YPG’s Iraqi counterpart, from their official lists of terrorist organizations.
The YPG’s victories similarly enhanced the Kurds’ standing inside Turkey itself. In the June elections to the Turkish parliament, the Kurdish HDP party won 12 percent of the vote nationally, and so blocked Erdogan’s AKP party from winning a parliamentary majority.
Without that majority Erdogan’s plan of reforming the constitution to transform Turkey into a presidential republic and secure his dictatorship for the long run has been jeopardized.
As far as Erdogan was concerned, by the middle of July the Kurdish threat to his power had reached unacceptable levels.
Then two weeks ago the deck was miraculously reshuffled.
On July 20, young Kurdish activists convened in Suduc, a Kurdish town on the Turkish side of the border, 6 kilometers from Kobani. A suicide bomber walked up to them, and detonated, massacring 32 people.
Turkish officials claim that the bomber was a Turkish Kurd, and a member of ISIS. But the Kurds didn’t buy that line. Last week, HDP lawmakers accused the regime of complicity with the bomber. And two days after the attack, militants from the PKK killed two Turkish policemen in a neighboring village, claiming that they collaborated with ISIS.
At that point, Erdogan sprang into action.
After refusing for months to work with NATO forces in their anti-ISIS operations, Erdogan announced he was entering the fray. He would begin targeting “terrorists” and allow the US air force to use two Turkish air bases for its anti-ISIS operations. In exchange, the US agreed to set up a “safe zone” in Syria along the Turkish border.
Turkish officials were quick to explain that in targeting “terrorists,” the Turks would not distinguish between Kurdish terrorists and ISIS terrorists just because the former are fighting ISIS. Both, they insisted, are legitimate targets.
Erdogan closed his deal in a telephone call with nObama. And he immediately went into action.
Turkish forces began bombing terrorist targets and rounding up terrorist suspects. Although a few of the Turkish bombing runs have been directly against ISIS, the vast majority have targeted Kurdish forces in Iraq and Syria.
Moreover, for every suspected ISIS terrorist arrested by Turkish security forces, at least eight Kurds have been taken into custody.
Then, too, Erdogan has called on AKP lawmakers to begin criminalizing their counterparts from the HDP. Kurdish lawmakers, he urged them, must be stripped of their parliamentary immunity to enable their arrests.
As Erdogan apparently sees things, by going to war against the Kurds, he will be able to reestablish the AKP’s parliamentary majority. Within a few weeks, if the AKP fails to form a governing coalition – and it will – then new elections will be held. The nationalists, who abandoned the AKP in June, will return to the party to reward Erdogan for fighting the Kurds.
As for that “safe area” in northern Syria, as the Kurds see it, Erdogan will use it to destroy Kurdish autonomy. He will flood the zone with Syrian Arab refugees who fled to Turkey, to dilute the Kurdish majority. And he will secure coalition support for the Sunni Arab militias – including those still affiliated with al-Qaida – which will be permitted by NATO to operate openly in the safe area.
Already the Kurds are reporting that the US has stopped providing air support for their forces fighting ISIS in the border town of Jarablus. Those forces were bombed this week by Turkish F-16s.
For their part, despite Erdogan’s pledge to fight ISIS, his forces seem remarkable uninterested in rolling back ISIS achievements. The Turks have no plan for removing ISIS from its strongholds in Raqqa or Haskiyah.
The nObama administration is presenting the deal with Turkey as yet another great achievement.
In an interview with Charlie Rose on Tuesday, McGurk explained that the deal was a long time in the making. It began with a phone conversation between nObama and Erdogan last October and it ended with their phone call last week.
In October, nObama convinced Erdogan not to oppose US air support for the Kurds in Kobani and to enable the US to resupply YPG fighters in Kobani through Turkey. In the second, nObama agreed not to oppose Erdogan’s offensive against the Kurds.
Two years ago, in August 2013, the world held its breath awaiting US action in Syria. That month, after prolonged equivocation amidst mountains of evidence, the nObama administration was forced to acknowledge that Iran’s Syrian puppet Bashar Assad had crossed nObama’s self-declared redline and used chemical weapons against regime opponents, including civilians.
US forces assembled for battle. Everything looked ready to go, until just hours before US jets were scheduled to begin bombing regime targets, nObama canceled the operation. In so doing, he lost all deterrent power against Iran. He also lost all strategic credibility among America’s regional allies.
To save face, nObama agreed to a Russian proposal to have international monitors remove Syria’s chemical weapons from the country.
Last summer, the administration proudly announced that the mission had been completed.
UN chemical weapons monitors had removed Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal from the country, they proclaimed. It didn’t matter to either nObama or Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry that by that point Assad had resumed chemical assaults with chlorine-based bombs. Chlorine bombs weren’t chemical weapons, the Americans idiotically proclaimed.
Then last week, the lie fell apart. The Wall Street Journal reported that according to US intelligence agencies, Assad not surrendered his chemical arsenal.
Rather, he hid much of his chemical weaponry from the UN inspectors. He had even managed to retain the capacity to make chemical weapons – like chlorine-based bombs – after agreeing to part with his chemical arsenal.
Assad was able to cheat, because just as the administration’s nuclear deal with the Iranians gives Iran control over which nuclear sites will be open to UN inspectors, and which will be off limits, so the chemical deal gave Assad control over what the inspectors would and would not be allowed to see. So, they saw only what he showed them.
nObama has gone full circle in concluding his deal with Erdogan. Since entering office, nObama has sought to cut deals with both the Sunni jihadists of the Muslim Brotherhood ilk and the Shi’ite jihadists of the Iranian ilk.
His chemical deal with Assad and his nuclear deal with the ayatollahs accomplished the latter goal, and did so at the expense of America’s Sunni Arab allies and Israel.
His deal last week with Erdogan accomplishes the former goal, to the benefit of ISIS, and on the backs of America’s Kurdish allies.
So that takes care of the Middle East. With 17 months left to go till nObama leave office, the time has apparently come for the British to begin to worry.
They’re both mega-rich New Yorkers with famous hairdos and big baggage, but Donald Trump and Hilly Clinton have much more in common than that. They are both clear frontrunners for the political parties’ presidential nominations who are in the dumps with the general electorate.
A new national poll from Quinnipiac University says that Clinton’s lead among Democrats is smaller than in the spring, but she still trounces her closest competitor, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., by a stout 38 points. Her biggest worry for the primary run is the sudden bump in backing for Vice President loose lips Joe Biden, who is weighing a late-summer launch.
But compared to Trump’s perilous perch, Clinton is as solid as the octopus carpaccio at the 21 Club.
The Republican frontrunner continues to gobble up vote share from every candidate other than establishment fave Jeb Bush, who held steady from May with 10 percent, and Scott Walker, who actually managed to gain 3 points amid the Trumptation of the GOP to 13 percent and second place. The only other significant gain was Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who muscled his way into the pack at 5 percent.
And a closer look at Trump’s support tells us why his 7 point lead is so flimsy. While he is tops among self-described “very conservative” respondents, he is also number one with self-described “somewhat conservative” voters as well as moderates and liberals.
The good news for Trump is that he draws support from multiple channels, as opposed to a candidate like Walker who lags with liberals and moderates. Trump even draws responses from potential voters who otherwise wouldn’t take part in a GOP primary poll.
Quinnipiac doesn’t say if the ideological proportions shifted post-Trump, so we don’t know how much his arrival has changed the composition of the electorate The favorites among moderates and liberals prior to Trump’s name being added to the list were Marco Rubio and Chris Christie, who are now specks in the rearview mirror of Trump’s limo. So, some of Trump’s support among the middling-minded is no doubt at the expense of others.
But – and this is just a guess – Trump’s fame and bombast is bringing in people who normally wouldn’t vote in a Republican primary or identify themselves as primary voters to a telephone pollster. And history tells us that such voters are an unreliable bet come Election Day.
Clinton’s primary support, by comparison, is anything but unsettled. It’s downright stodgy. Democrats are coming to terms with Clinton, and she shows no signs of bringing new voters into the process. That’s bad in many ways, but good for predictable primary polling.
But those same polls tell us something very dangerous for Clinton: voters neither like nor trust her. And that’s where she and Trump go together like Cristal and a Hamptons clambake. She is seen by voters as neither honest nor trustworthy by 57 percent of voters while Trump cards an equally abysmal 56 percent.
By way of further comparison, Clinton trails loose lips Biden on honesty and trustworthiness among all voters by 21 points and by 11 points among Democrats. Woof.
Clinton’s unfavorability rating is only 8 points better than Trump’s 59 percent, but she does have stronger core support, which explains why the poll shows her beating him badly – 12 points – in a hypothetical general election matchup.
But, for the aforementioned reasons, Trump isn’t going to the big dance. So how does Clinton do against the contenders? She’s essentially tied with both Bush and Walker. That’s a particularly bad sign as it relates to Walker, given how much better known she is than the Wisconsin governor.
And here’s the kicker for Clinton: loose lips Biden does as well against Walker and Bush as Clinton. When Sheriff Joe sees those numbers, he might decide to saddle up after all. -Fox News

No one has studied that evidence more thoroughly than Bernard Lewis, at 99 the greatest living historian of the Middle East. "The Roman Empire and the medieval Islamic Empire were not conquered by more civilized peoples," he has noted. "They were conquered by less civilized but more vigorous peoples. But in both cases what made the conquest, with the Barbarians in Rome and the Mongols in Iraq, what made it possible was things were going badly wrong within the society so that it was no longer able to offer effective resistance."
Would anyone argue that things are going well in America and Europe today? Would anyone argue that Western societies are as "vigorous" as those waging what they call a jihad against us? Would anyone argue that the West is offering "effective resistance" to the barbarians Mr. Carter has in mind: the head-choppers and slavers of the Islamic State who now occupy large swaths of what once were Syria and Iraq?
Nor are those our only barbarian enemies. Spokesmen for the Islamic State cover their faces and wield long knives. Spokesmen for the Islamic Republic of Iran display their smiling faces for the cameras and know which forks to use at elegant Viennese restaurants. But is slitting infidel throats any less barbaric than hanging Iranian men for having the wrong sexual orientation, or stoning Iranian women, or persecuting religious and ethnic minorities, or holding innocents hostage or threatening neighbors with genocide? Really?
Iran's Islamic Revolution erupted in the winter of 1979. In the autumn of that year, the U.S. embassy in Tehran, sovereign American territory, was seized by a group that came to be known as "Muslim Student Followers of the Imam's Line" - the "Imam" being Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. For 444 days, they held hostage American diplomats who under international law were entitled to the Iranian government's protection. They were treated like animals - and tortured.
A few years ago we understood that this episode represented "the first battle in America's war with militant Islam" - the subtitle of Mark Bowden's bestselling 2007 book, "Guests of the Ayatollah." When did we stop understanding that?
Today, militant Islamic forces are engaged in battles across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond. Of late, a potentially pivotal diplomatic battle has been fought and, in my estimation, decisively won by Iran's rulers. Its outcome is an agreement guaranteed to greatly enrich those rulers and, within a relatively short span of time, allow them to acquire more and better weapons, not excluding nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to targets anywhere in the world. Those targets will be within what Iranian theocrats call the "House of Unbelief" which, in their theology/ideology, is synonymous with the "House of War."
As Iran increases its military capabilities, and as the Islamic State, al Qaeda, Boko Haram and similar groups expand their powers, American leaders continue to shrink the armed forces Secretary Carter oversees. The American Enterprise Institute's Mackenzie Eaglen has pointed out that the U.S. military is today "smaller than it was before 9/11 at the nadir of the Clinton 'peace dividend' drawdown." At the same time, those same American leaders repeatedly proclaim that America has become "war-weary." That can only be music to the ears of all those who declare America an "enemy of God" and who, on that basis, proclaim themselves enemies of America.
Does Mr. Carter seriously believe the road we're now on leads to the defeat of these enemies? If so, his belief is based on faith or wishful thinking - not fact, experience or precedent.
Let me leave you with one more thought from Bernard Lewis who, I should point out, has for years been reviled by Islamists and those in the West who sympathize with them. In 1990, a decade before the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and a decade after the revolution in Iran, he wrote:
"Islam has brought comfort and peace of mind to countless millions of men and women. It has given dignity and meaning to drab and impoverished lives. It has taught people of different races to live in brotherhood and people of different creeds to live side by side in reasonable tolerance. It inspired a great civilization in which others besides Muslims lived creative and useful lives and which, by its achievement, enriched the whole world. But Islam, like other religions, has also known periods when it inspired in some of its followers a mood of hatred and violence. It is our misfortune that part, though by no means all or even most, of the Muslim world is now going through such a period, and that much, though again not all, of that hatred is directed against us."
If policymakers, legislators, academics and journalists had listened to Mr. Lewis a quarter century ago and formulated a strategic response, the world might be a very different place today. But they did not. And today, for many of the most powerful people in America and Europe, self-delusion retains its appeal. That can change. It's why we have elections. A big one is coming up fairly soon and no issue should be seen as more important than this one.

“Squabbling and sanctimony may be tolerated in other venues and perhaps on the campaign trail, but they h
ave no place among colleagues in the United States Senate. The Senate floor has even become a place where senators have singled out colleagues by name to attack them in personal terms, to impugn their character, in blatant disregard for Senate rules.”
Those were the words of Senator Orin Hatch, spoken on the floor of the Senate last Sunday in response to Senator Ted Cruz’s truth to power speech last week regarding Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
In that speech, Cruz pointedly made the case that McConnell had lied to each and every member of the Republican Senate when he looked them in the eye and made the promise that there would be no further votes regarding the reviving of the federal Export-Import Bank.

The injunction is against the Center for Medical Progress, the group that has unveiled Planned Parenthood’s participation in the sale of organs harvested from aborted children.”
“This US District Judge Orrick was nominated to his position by hardline abortion supporter President Barack Obama. He was also a major donor to and bundler for President Obama’s presidential campaign. He raised at least $200,000 for Obama and donated $30,800 to committees supporting him, according to Public Citizen.”
As expected, you can usually always count on Senators, Susan Collins (R-ME), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to vote for almost all Democrat Party appointments and/or legislation.
Never mind these Senators voting for President Obama and the Democrat Party. When it comes to passing out Republican Party money, the Republican National Committee (RNC), the Republican National Senate Committee (RNSC) and Sen. Mitch McConnell’s own ‘McConnell PAC’ always passes out the Republican Party money to these ‘left-wing’ voting RINO Republicans.
In the 2014 GOP Primary Election season, Sen. Mitch McConnell’s own ‘McConnell PAC’ passed out Republican Party money is support of RINO Republican Party candidates and opposing highly qualified Conservative Republican Party candidates.
