ddeb-1.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710xRussian collusion is over.

The Mueller report is over.

The Trump/Zelensky phone call with its quid pro quo, it’s extortion, and its bribery along with its “abuse of power,” and its “obstruction of congress” is over.

And impeachment is over too.

All of those things ended with liberals wadding up their collective panties, and with President Trump standing tall, still in the White House, and still their president, but all of those things had one thing in common…

The Inescapable Legacy of Democrat Racism

hat-1.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710xLet me begin with this perfectly valid fact…nobody alive today in America was ever a slave in America, and nobody alive in America today was ever an American slave owner. Those are inescapable facts.

Also inescapable as fact is that nobody alive in America today had parents who were either slaves in America nor were they slave owners in America and it would be hard, if not impossible to find anybody alive in America today whose grandparents were either slaves in America or American slave owners.

Slavery in America was abolished in 1865…better than 150 years ago…another inescapable fact.

If one really wants to look at the facts surrounding slavery in America, or for that matter…racism in America and be both honest and factual about them…there is yet another inescapable fact with which many in America today must come to grips…

4064461706?profile=original                                      SWAMP THING LUIS GUTIERREZ DOUBLES DOWN

                                                                                     By

                                                                       Daniel John Sobieski

Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez, who represents the 4th Congressional district a gerrymandered snake-shaped district designed to protect his vitriolic incumbency, has doubled down on his criticism o  DHS head Gen. John Kelly as being unfit to wear his uniform for opposing the illegal and unconstitutional DACA program rejected by a Congress in which Gutierrez sat:

Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D) responded to Gen. John Kelly [Ret.], after the White House chief of staff dismissed the Chicagoan's first round of criticisms.

Gutierrez said Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general, is "a politician, OK, not a general."

"What could be more mean and more vicious than to say 'you've got six months to pack up...and leave the United States'?" Gutierrez asked of Kelly.

"I don't see [him wearing] a uniform," Gutierrez told the Washington Post.

Ann we don’t see Rep. Gutierrez ever wearing a uniform, unlike Gen’ Kelly’s son Robert who gave his life for his country in Afghanistan fighting to protect America and the freedom of Muslims seeking liberation from the depraved tyranny of the Taliban:

Robert Kelly, 29, was killed in a roadside bomb blast in 2010 during a foot patrol in Afghanistan's Helmand province.

Like his son, who gave his life for others who did not look like him or shared many of his beliefs, Gen. Kelly served with and commanded and witnessed the sacrifice of soldiers of all races, ethnicities and genders. He is nor a bigot, but a patriot who deserved better for seeking enforcement of the nation’s laws and Constitution than what Rep. Gutierrez gave him:

The Washington Examiner reported that U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat, took personal aim at Kelly because Kelly once reportedly spoke favorably about the program. House members reported in July that Kelly told Latino lawmakers in a closed-door meeting that he was supportive of the program, but pointed out that it was probably illegal….

“General Kelly is a hypocrite who is a disgrace to the uniform he used to wear,” the congressman said in a statement.

"General Kelly, when he was the head of Homeland Security, lied straight to the faces of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus about preventing the mass deportation of DREAMers," Gutierrez also said. "He has no honor and should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists and those enabling the president's actions by ‘just following orders.'"

It is Rep. Gutierrez who has no honor as well as no respect fo American citizenship,  the nation’s laws and the Constitution he was sworn to uphold. Gutierrez has long supported open borders and even supported expanding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to illegal parents:

For Democrats such as Grijalva and Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., amnesty and the political benefits stemming from it are inevitable. They are quite willing to use children to exploit the inherent compassion of the American people if it means ensuring the political future of the Democratic Party through the gratitude of millions of illegal aliens allowed to come here and stay.

Gutierrez recently told a La Raza conference that it was only a "down payment" that President Obama gave the Latino community with his Deferred Action for Children Arrivals (DACA) program that halted the deportation of 600,000 of "our people":

"Now it is time for the president in the United States ... (to) free the mom and dads of the DREAMers and to go further — be broad and expansive and generous."

Unlike Rep. Luis Gutierrez, Gen. John Kelly has long  his country honorably: Gutierrez is a career politician living on the taxpayer’s dime while, like Bill and Hillary Clinton, using his office to personally enrich himself:

In Chicago, where a decade long building boom has reshaped neighborhoods, politicians have come to rely on real estate interests to donate to their campaigns. But the Democratic congressman's financial relationship with some contributors goes beyond campaign cash, according to records and interviews.

In half a dozen deals with campaign supporters since 2002, Gutierrez has made about $421,000 by investing his money in real estate deals and exiting a short time later. The congressman says he made a profit in five of those deals but lost a small amount of money on the sixth. …

Gutierrez has bought and sold properties with five campaign donors, including convicted political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko….

The demise of DACA wouldl be a deserved end to a magnet for illegal immigration based on an unconstitutional executive order by President Barack Hussein Obama who was frustrated that Congress failed to pass it as legislation named the DREAM Act. As syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer observed on Fox News’ Special Report at the time:

You can have executive orders that implement already existing laws. What Obama has done in the DREAM Act, which is exactly what you've talked about. Essentially he passed a law by executive order that the Congress had rejected, wouldn't pass, that is unbelievably unconstitutional. It's as if a Republican ran and said I don't like the capital gains tax, Congress rejects an abolition of that tax and then he orders the IRS not to collect it. People would be up in arms and would be impeaching. He's doing that over and over again on immigration

Even President Obama said he didn’t have the authority to do what he eventually did – enact the Congressionally rejected DREAM Act through executive order:

With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed — and I know that everybody here at Bell is studying hard so you know that we’ve got three branches of government. Congress passes the law. The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws.

There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President.

Was President Obama also a dishonorable hypocrite for saying the executive order on DACA had no legitimacy in the law or Constitution? Thankfully, unlike Gutierrez, we still have Americans like John Kelly and his son Robert willing to serve their country honorably even to the point of making the ultimate sacrifice.

Elian Gonzalez Was A Dreamer Too, Liberals

4064455906?profile=originalELIAN GONZALEZ WAS A DREAMER TOO, LIBERALS

                                                                                     By

                                                                       Daniel John Sobieski

The fake news that the Trump administration was “considering” using 100,000 National Guardsmen to round up illegal aliens has been thoroughly debunked by now, except in the minds of those who screech, “But, but, there was a memo!”

Well, the memo, as the Independent Journal Review reported, was a DHS draft memo that was never put forward for serious consideration. Nor did it mention the figure 100,000, The hyperventilating Associated Press put the fake news out that it was an actual plan one smidgeon short of an imminent executive order. President Trump said the report was false. The Pentagon said the report was false. So just who were “considering” it? The janitorial staff after emptying the waste basket it was tossed in?

ICE arrested over 700 illegals in recent operations and reported that they are doing exactly what they did under President  Obama. ICE reports that some 75 percent of these illegals had criminal records. They should be deported to protect American citizens such as Kate Steinle, murdered in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.. President Obama used to tout his record number of deportations. ICE reports that one 2012 operation netted 350 percent more illegals than recent raids In April, 2012, ICE arrested more than 3,100 illegals with criminal records  Problem was Obama’s deportees kept coming back over an unsecured border. An illegal that was deported four or more times was counted as four or more deportations.

Undaunted by the facts, fake news outlets like CNN weave tales of children living in fear that ICE will shatter their dreams with that proverbial midnight knock on the door:

Donald Trump's win shattered the dreams and ignited the fears of hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants known as "dreamers."

They are the young people who were brought to the United States by their parents as children.

This population, which the American Immigration Council says is roughly 1.8 million, feels exceptionally vulnerable under a Trump presidency because many came out of the shadows when President Barack Obama offered them temporary legal presence through executive action in 2012. Now, with a president-elect who promised to deport the undocumented, the fear of deportation is more real than ever.

Time was when liberal Democrats like Hillary Clinton shared Donald Trump’s dream of family reunification for illegal alien families on the other side of the border. Hillary should know about deportations, since she was First Lady when presidential hubby William Jefferson Clinton returned a young Elian Gonzalez to his father in Cuba, literally at gunpoint.

As recently as June, 2014, when unaccompanied minor children were being ferried by “coyotes” under contract north on the tops of boxcars in what GOP presidential contender Jeb Bush said was an “act of love”,  Hillary Clinton told CNN  such children should be quickly returned to their foreign parents, to send a message:

“They should be sent back as soon as it can be determined who the responsible adults in their family are because there are concerns about whether all of them can be sent back, but I think all of them that can be should be reunited with their families,” she said, adding that the United States must do more to confront the violence in the region and strengthen border security. “But we have to send a clear message that ‘Just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean your child gets to stay. We don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”

They should be sent back as soon as possible, she said, which is what Donald Trump is saying. We don’t want to encourage more children to come, which is what Donald Trump is saying. Trump would go farther, building the same type of fence Israel has built and Saudi Arabia is building as well as interpreting the 14th Amendment as it was written, an amendment to guarantee freed slaves, not illegal aliens, their U.S. citizenship.

President Bill Clinton was also for family reunification of minor children with their parents south of U.S. territory as shown by the case of Eliang Gonzalez, the young Cuban boy who as he was nearing his sixth birthday on Thanksgiving 199 when a fisherman off the Florida coast found him hanging on tp an inner tube after his mother, among others fleeing Castro’s Cuba drowned in the attempt.

Elian’s mother was hoping to bring Elian and join the extended family in the U.S. as they fled the poverty and oppression (sound familiar?) of Cuba. Elian’s father, who was separated from his wife at the time, chose to stay behind. As Investor’s Business Daily editorialized:

As Fox News Latino reported, Gonzalez's Miami relatives had refused to surrender him to authorities, leading to the infamous raid on April 22, 2000, on President Bill Clinton's watch, by armed federal agents who seized Elian at gunpoint from a closet where he was hiding at his uncle's home in Little Havana.

He was forcibly returned to Cuba two months later….

It was then-Deputy Attorney General Holder who invented the "legal" cover for federal agents to forcibly enter the home of Elian Gonzalez's legal custodians, American citizens all, so he could be returned to the warm embrace of Castro in communist Cuba.

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals had ruled that once the INS chose a guardian, the guardianship could not be changed. On Dec, 1, 1999, the INS asserted that Miami-based uncle Lazaro Gonzalez was now Elian's legal custodian. Holder then decided on his own that the court ruling and the INS determination were both invalid and that Elian would be returned to his father in Cuba…

Today, if Elian Gonzalez were Honduran and his reunited family likely to vote Democratic down the road, he might get to stay with Holder's blessings under the same rule of lawlessness that once forcibly returned a young Cuban boy to Castro's tyranny.

Aye, there’s the rub, Hispanics were more in political play in 1999 and the Cubans of south Florida were staunchly Republican. Just ask Florida Senator and presidential contender Marco Rubio, himself the son of Cuban immigrants seeking freedom from oppression. Today, “illegal alien” is a term many find synonymous with “undocumented Democrat”.

So it is no surprise that Democrats, who under Bill Clinton, stood silently by as Elian Gonzalez was seized at gunpoint and forcibly removed to the oppression of Castro’s Communist Cuba, now hyperventilate as Donald Trump proposes building a high wall, albeit with a big gate, to protect American sovereignty and the declining value of U.S. citizenship.

We should at least copy what has been called the “Great Wall of Saudi Arabia”. Built to block a potential influx of Islamic State terrorists, it accomplishes what a sovereign state is obligated to do – protect its borders. We too often ignore the fact that among the flood of “oppressed” illegal aliens, gang members like those of MS-13 and terrorists could be hiding, as Marine Corps. Gen. and now DHS Secretary John Kelly once testified before Congress:

"Clearly, criminal networks can move just about anything on these smuggling pipelines," he testified in February to the House Armed Services Committee. "Terrorist organizations could seek to leverage those same smuggling routes to move operatives with intent to cause grave harm to our citizens or even quite easily bring weapons of mass destruction into the United States."

Build Trump’s fence first, and then talk about immigration reform. And while we are having this conversation, liberals, let us remember it was Bill Clinton who pointed a gun at Elian Gonzalez, not Donald Trump.

When we ignore the Constitution in our “righteous” quest to safeguard the 2nd Amendment, we are little better than the Bloomberg crowd.

Currently under consideration by Congress, the Conceal Carry Reciprocity Act (HR38) would expand our right to carry across State lines, compelling sovereign States to defer to federal authority  in such matters.

Please understand that the ONLY authority over arms delegated to the federal government by the States is Art I Sec 8, Clause 16 which, per the Militia Act of 1792, empowers the feds to organize, arm and discipline the Militia. That’s it!!!

The 2nd Amendment was wisely intended by our founders to limit the federal government—not the States. It was intended to prohibit the federal government  from regulating a citizen’s right to bear arms outside a citizen’s duty as a militia member.

So, while the feds may constitutionally protect a State citizen’s right to be armed in order to carry out his responsibility as a member of the State Militia, the federal government is not constitutionally empowered to in any way extend its authority beyond that specific purpose.

State Constitutions define their citizens’ 2nd Amendment rights, and if a State Constitution inadequately protects citizens’ 2nd Amendment rights, then citizens of that State are duty-bound to amend the State Constitution—NOT to encourage the federal Leviathan to superimpose its superimpose its 2nd Amendment desires on the States.

Though the Reciprocity Act is a wonderfully convenient remedy for conceal carry gun owners to carry across State lines unimpeded, the Act is blatantly unconstitutional. That must matter to us all, for if we permit the feds to illegitimately grant “rights”, at a future date the feds may just as easily deny those “rights”, reducing God-given and constitutional rights to nothing more than federal “privileges”.  Is that what NRA patriots want? God, I hope not!!

As an NRA member in good standing for many years now, when it comes to protecting citizens’ rights to be armed, the Constitution must ALWAYS  be our guide—NOT any short-sighted desire for personal convenience.

Assailed from all sides today, the Constitution was intended to be the Supreme Law of the Land. Let’s try to restore it to that lofty status. Let’s not foolishly, unwittingly—or conveniently—subvert it.

Defining the Democrat Party…Part 2 of 2

By Craig Andresen – Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

As I pointed out in “Defining the Democrat Party…Part 1”…they continue to repeat their ang-1.jpg?width=204failures of history, expecting a different result having not learned from their mistakes, and while on the surface, it might well seem they are stuck on stupid, that simply is not the case.

What they are, is angry, and desperate…which makes them dangerous…but what is it exactly that has them so desperate?

That’s the question, isn’t it?

The answer is both simple, and complex…it is power, or the lack thereof that has them flailing about, repeating their own mistakes.

But there is a whole lot more to it than that…

Defining the Democrat Party…Part 1 of 2

By Craig Andresen – Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

It has often been rightly said, that “those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history, are doomed to repeat them,” but what does that mean, exactly?mis-1.jpg?width=191

It means that history is where we make both great strides forward, and where we make our mistakes and what we learn from both should guide our steps in the future. From what we did right, we grow in the future. We use those things as stepping stones to greater and greater things. We improve on our successes to achieve even greater successes.

From our mistakes, we should also learn what not to do again. From our history’s failures, we should learn what to do to prevent future failures of a like nature.

Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it. In other words, those who fail to learn for their history’s failures, are doomed to thus fail again by repeating those failures in the future.

Einstein once said that “doing the same thing over and over again, while expecting a different result, is the definition of insanity.”

I submit, that by combining the two quotes, one can find the very definition of the democrat party.

To illustrate this point, let’s look at four prime examples.

Was an orchestrated act of terrorism.

More Than a Hate Crime – Part 2

By Craig Andresen and Diane Sori – Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

By now, everybody has seen, or at the very least heard of the video, discussCH-1.jpg?width=135ed in detail in “More Than a Hate Crime Part 1,” (a must read op-ed) in which a band of Black Lives Matter goons kidnapped and tortured a disabled man while live-streaming the entire event on Facebook.

During that sickening, disgusting act…the BLM goons put tape over the man’s mouth, beat him, cut him, cut his clothes, kicked him…all as the man was on the floor…they screamed at him…telling the man to say, “F*** Trump” and “F*** white people.”

They have been arrested. They have, after some deep thought by Chicago police, been charged with a hate crime.

But left wing, liberal/socialist mainstream media…is taking the side of the BLM haters.

Clinton Legacy NOT 'Tangled Web' but Gordian Knot

Clinton Legacy NOT a “Tangled web,” but a Gordian Knot

As we hear President Elect Trump saying, “I don’t want to hurt the Clinton’s” – implying that his administration will have little or no interest in prosecuting the former Secretary of State for her mass perjuries before the House Oversight Committee and lies before the American Public; her part in the play-for-pay Clinton slush fund/Foundation; and 23 violations of the nation’s Secrets Act . . . with up to 2,100 counts involved – it’s hard not to marvel at the level of corruption this one semi-dynastic family exhibited on the stage of the American body politic.

Let us, however, like Alexander the Great when facing the challenge of the Gordian Knot (legend said that the person who could undo the taut and complex knot tied by Gordius would rule Asia), let’s us stick to basics.  Alexander quickly slipped his sword from its scabbard and slashed the infamous philosopher’s challenge into thirty limp pieces of 140-year old rope.

Here is the one great crime that President Bill Clinton committed that no one recognizes.  From the bottom of p.517 and top of p. 518 this short paragraph in WJC’s autobiography My Life, tells America everything we citizens need to know about progressivism (confidence in big ever-expanding government funded by ever-growing taxes to be the be-all and end-all of all potential problems forever, AMEN!  However, since we the citizens are coming to realize that government is the agency with the stick, whip and gun and not the carrot, most of us worship at the church of “Government is NOT the solution, government is the problem” (Ronald Reagan).  Here’s what Slick-Willy Clinton had to say in his book published in 2004:

“One of the most effective things we did was to reform the regulations governing financial institutions under the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA’77).  The law required federally insured lenders to make an extra effort to give loans to low- and modest-income borrowers, but before 1993 it had never had much impact.  After the changes we made, between 1993 and 2000 (sic:  January 2001 = 8 years in office), banks would offer more than $800 billion in home mortgage, small-business, and community development loans to borrowers covered by the law, a staggering figure that amounted to well over 90 percent of all the loans made in the 23- (sic: 24-) year history of the Community Reinvestment Act.”

It’s truly a shocking thing that virtually no one in America understands what you just read.  Bill Clinton is not just confessing about creating the Great Fiscal Meltdown of 2007 – present; oh no, he is actually bragging about it.  He assumes that the reader of his autobiography will be too stupid to check out the full impact of the facts he’s given and will instead merely assume that Bill Clinton’s intentions were good and that’s all that matters.  There’s probably a 100-page expose on progressivism that could help explain it all, but let’s keep things simple, let’s slash our way through the Gordian Knot.

                These are the facts:

1)      The American mortgage-loan industry was not broken in January, 1977, when progressive President Jimmy Carter assumed office with a great majority of progressive Democrats and a few progressive Republicans joining him.  America had the highest private home ownership rate in the world by far (62-65%) depending upon the economy; and most telling of all the Suspect Loan Rate was a miniscule 0.24%.  The progressives who had just seen a great success in using the Cloward-Piven strategy to more than double the nation’s welfare rolls between 1969 and 1973 and send the economy and the stock market into a monster tailspin using something they called the NWRO (National Welfare Rights Organization) to create a crisis that bankrupted New York City and almost bankrupted New York State and every big city and big-city state in the country.

2)      They quickly realized that CRA’77 was a bit more challenging and set up Arkansas, Bill Clinton’s state as a test case with the Arkansas Community Organization for Reform Now (A.C.O.R.N.) under NWRO veteran Wade Rathke at the helm.  Arkansas was chosen because Hillary Clinton was a well-known Saul Alinsky disciple who’d written her college thesis praising the self-described “neo-Marxist” and his radical work in the inner cities.  Alinsky, author of 1946’s Reveille for Radicals and 1971’s Rules for Radicals had tried to turn his Chicago organization over to her before he died in 1971.  Hillary was also the wife of an up-and-coming young attractive Arkansas Lieutenant Governor William Jefferson Clinton.  With A.C.O.R.N.’s help he would become governor of Arkansas and stay in that role for 12 of the 14 years following the elections of 1978.

3)      By 1987 with A.C.O.R.N. only active in one state, Arkansas, the American Suspect Loan Rate had more than doubled to 0.51%.  CRA’77 loans could be had for as little as 3% down!  A.C.O.R.N. now changed its name to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and went active in all 50 states.  The push to get totally unqualified loan applicants into expensive new homes was fully underway . . . .

4)      Bill Clinton made three expansions of CRA’77 in the first four year term:  by presidential executive order in 1993; and twice by passing legislation both times in 1995.  By 1997, A.C.O.R.N.’s hard work (Community Organizer Barack Obama, by the way, was an A.C.O.R.N. attorney shaking down banks in Chicago) was starting to pay off . . . the nation’s Suspect Loan Rate now stood at 14.1%  (almost one in every seven home loans was so unsound it was virtually guaranteed to go into foreclosure).  CRA’77 loans were available to virtually any unqualified applicant who wanted one, who was able to fork over 2% as a down payment.

5)      During the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal in 1998, Bill Clinton took time off to pass his fourth expansion of CRA’77.  This steroid-version expansion of CRA’77 forced loan companies to grant home loans to people without jobs; people with the most horrific credit ratings; people whose only “income” was food stamps; felons; tourists; and even illegal immigrants to receive loans for $225,000 – $480,000 homes. And it seemed that everyone buying a home was seeing its appraised value jumping skyward.  The Construction Industry Bubble and Sub-Prime Lending Bubble were dominating the news.  All these loans were being offered at 3% and lower down payments and many were executed with 0% down payment.

6)      Meanwhile in Texas, new Governor George W. Bush was passing a state law requiring a minimum down payment of 20%.  Later when he became president he struggled for over five years to pass a law repealing all of CRA’77.  Texas and Utah were the only states during the following dozen years that kept producing jobs and balanced budgets.  Everyone else was in the red.

7)      In mid-July 2005, G.W. Bush passed a too-little, too-late watered-down version of his effort to repeal CRA’77.  Much of the law is still on the books today . . . but that’s all he could get done.

8)      In 2007, the nation and the world (mortgage entities with perhaps 22,000 loans “bundled” together had been popular investments for some 29+ years now . . . after all, who doesn’t pay their mortgage?) this time, however, the investors were buying dog-crap paper wrapped in cat-crap paper.  There was no value in any of them.  Why?  Because the nation’s Suspect Loan Rates had reached 34.2%.  More than 1 in every three home loans was logically-doomed to end in foreclosure making virtually all the bonds worthless.  Iceland went bankrupt; Italy, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Hungary were teetering on the brink.  In America, $5 million was lost during the stock market drop; 39.6% of all home value was lost putting even most long-term owners “upside-down” on their mortgages.  In a 2010 speech Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner who served under both President G.W. Bush and President Obama credited Bush’s passage of an anti-CRA’77 Act back in 2005 as “saving the nation” from even worse consequences.  Nevertheless 8.4 million jobs were lost and immense misery was endured around the globe.

So logically, for his part in Arkansas’s A.C.O.R.N. corruption; and in the nation’s A.C.O.R.N. collapse; and especially for his 1998 Steroid-Version Expansion of CRA’77:  Bill Clinton deserves even more “credit” than the 90% he claims in his autobiography, a full 99.5% of the credit/blame for creating the 2007 Great Fiscal Meltdown of the world’s economies.

The Force Awakens opened this Friday to packed theaters across America. I haven’t seen it for a number of reasons, among which is an unwillingness to tent out for days just to buy tickets. The film will nonetheless make oodles of money, I’m sure, as Star Wars has replaced the Bible as Western civilization’s primary cultural commonality, both relevant and accessible to people across the societal spectrum.

This seventh chapter of the epic space opera may be the first to steer clear of political themes. According to film critic Matt Singer, “The Force Awakens is — arguably to its detriment — completely uninterested in politics.” This newfound political disinterest may have something to do with the fact that Star Wars is no longer the property of its creator, George Lucas, who infused the prequels and, to a lesser extent, the original trilogy, with political overtones.

Star Wars has never been what it appears to be—good clean fun with spaceships and laser beams. Don’t feel bad; that’s what I thought it was too when I was a little kid playing with action figures.

Space ships and laser beams are the packaging not the story. To get to the real story it’s necessary to turn the clock back to April 1973, a time of great disillusionment, when the last American combat troops were withdrawing from Vietnam and the Watergate hearings were only a month away. With these generation-shaping events as a backdrop, twenty-eight year old George Lucas began typing the story of a courageous farm boy from the galaxy’s rural backwaters who took on a rotting empire replete with militarism and darkness—and won.

He told his audience that it all took place “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” but its actual setting was both contemporary and terrestrial. Star Wars was an allegory for the world as seen through the eyes of a baby boomer who had come of age on a college campus in the 1960s, who had felt the draft board breathing down his neck, and who had imbibed the spirit of San Francisco, where he was living at the time. The militaristic empire he imagined was his own country and the rebels were communist Vietnamese, though they could have been any number of “anti-imperialist” forces around the globe—the ANC in South Africa, the Tupamaros in Uruguay, etc. The Death Star was a warning against the destructive power of nuclear weapons, though it could be seen as analogous to the Pentagon. Darth Vader? Probably Dick Nixon or just a stand-in for the soulless admirals and generals in command of the war machine.

Lucas had other influences, of course, because inspiration is never that simple. Star Wars was also one part Flash Gordon serial and one part gun-slinging western with a whole heap of Kurosawa’s samurai cinema thrown in. The story also paralleled the Third Reich, starring Darth Vader as Hitler and stormtroopers as, well…stormtroopers.

But it was always about America, the only country George Lucas had ever known. If the film evoked images of Nazi Germany, the logical conclusion was that that’s what America had become or was on the verge of becoming. Star Wars could be read as a cautionary tale of what might happen if we didn’t change course.

Consider some of the notes Lucas scribbled in late 1973: “Aquilae is a small independent country like North Vietnam, threatened by a neighbour or provincial rebellion, instigated by gangsters aided by empire. Fight to get rightful planet back. Half of the system has been lost to gangsters…The empire is like America ten years from now, after gangsters assassinated the emperor and were elevated to power in a rigged election…We are at a turning point: fascism or revolution.”

That’s not exactly the Star Wars we all know and love, largely because Lucas’s concept still had a lot of growing to do, but the framework was there. From its earliest drafts, the script told the story of a scrappy underdog, patterned after North Vietnam, doing battle with a corrupt American empire. The underdog had only his convictions to give him heart, while the empire, which seemed invincible, was actually rotten to the core.

The politics got even more heavy in the prequels, culminating in the hyperpolitical Revenge of the Sith, which the Washington Post jokingly dubbed The Empire Strikes Bush. Actually, the Galactic Empire is Bush, but I understand it’s a fun witticism. Sith’s subliminal messages were not lost on The New York Times’s film reviewer A.O. Scott, who wrote: “’Revenge of the Sith’ is about how a republic dismantles its own democratic principles, about how politics becomes militarized, about how a Manichaean ideology undermines the rational exercise of power. Mr. Lucas is clearly jabbing his light saber in the direction of some real-world political leaders. At one point, Darth Vader…echoing the words of George W. Bush, hisses at Obi-Wan, ‘If you’re not with me, you’re my enemy.’”

That wasn’t really Darth Vader; or not yet. It was Anakin Skywalker, but clearly he was mimicking Bush’s post-9/11 admonition to foreign leaders, “Either you’re with us, or you are with the terrorists.”

So you can imagine my disappointment when I learned that the newest film would abstain from political commentary. That’s really unfortunate because we need it now more than ever. We’re a nation adrift, led by a corrupt, unprincipled political class that seems to have pulled the wool over the eyes of half the population.

Consider for a moment the scene in Revenge of the Sith in which Emperor Palpatine convinces the Senate to cede unprecedented power to him, thus establishing the Galactic Empire “in order to secure the security” of the Republic. Queen Amidala famously remarks “So this is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause.” Lucas was surely knocking Bush though it’s even more relevant today. The scene seemed a clever reference to the PATRIOT Act which, in case you haven’t noticed, is still the law of the land because Barack Obama approved its extension. But the Senate scene was about a lot more than just the PATRIOT Act; it was about our willingness, in times of trouble, to cede the power vested in the people and their elected representatives to a single charismatic leader. In light of Obama’s imperial presidency, the scene has assumed new meaning.

Richard Nixon and George W. Bush weren’t great presidents but neither were they Emperor Palpatine. I can’t say the same about President Obama who really does bear a striking resemblance to that wrinkled geezer in a hoody. So why can’t we make a movie about his policies, about his administration?

The Obama Administration has given us so much material to work with, the script would practically write itself. Imagine an evil Sith Lord who sweeps away any restraints on his authority with the words, “If the Senate won’t act, I will” or “We can’t wait for (fill in the blank).” The same Sith Lord could go to war in a sandy place resembling Tatooine without the approval of the Senate. Here’s a better one—the aforementioned villain pits one alien race against another (Jawas vs. Ewoks?) with his constantly divisive rhetoric, then uses the crisis to snatch up all the blasters and lightsabers in the galaxy. Stormtroopers go planet to planet, kicking down doors and confiscating anything that resembles a weapon. One of the Sith Lord’s closest advisors then turns to his boss and mutters something like “Never let a crisis go to waste.” Another idea: A council of supposed sages, call them judges if you will, abandon their fidelity to the law they swore to uphold and begin making decisions based on their own personal agendas. Here’s a good one—the Jedi are prohibited from practicing their ancient religion for fear that some people might get their feelings hurt.

Why, oh why, did Star Wars stop being political at the very moment that the most Palpatine-esque president ever to defile the Oval Office came to power? Maybe it’s because George Lucas isn’t at the helm anymore, though it’s doubtful that his directing and/or production would have made a difference. I suspect that The Force Awakens would still avoid criticizing the president because Lucas has, or once had, a man-crush on him. Said Lucas in 2008: “We have a hero in the making back in the United States today because we have a new candidate for president of the United States, Barack Obama.” Whether Lucas still feels that way is unknown. Perhaps he’s been appalled with what he’s seen in the ensuing seven years but I doubt it.

It’s almost as if political commentary just isn’t cool in show biz anymore. Would a major movie studio even make a film that was so obviously critical of this president and his policies? I have my doubts. Dissent isn’t patriotic anymore, less so in Hollywood, so I guess we’ll have to settle for spaceships and laser beams. What a pity.

“Is tolerance a two-way street or not? There’s a lot of talk about tolerance in this rfra-1.jpg?width=217country today having to do with people on the left. But here Indiana steps forward to protect the constitutional rights and privileges of freedom of religion for people of faith and families of faith in our state, and this avalanche of intolerance that has been poured on our state is just outrageous.”

Those are the words of Indiana’s Governor, Mike Pence, in the wake of liberal panty wadding over the recent passage and signing of that state’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Doesn’t Pence realize that the TOLERANCE liberals are always whining about only extends to those who feel as they do…believe as they do and advocate the exact same things as they do?

In fact, there are few groups in this country less tolerant than liberals but to really understand this latest sense of false outrage by the left, one must examine the RFRA.

What we have here is not at all unique. In fact, 19 states have passed just such an Act of their own but that doesn’t even begin to cover it. Another 11 states have RFRA written into their state Constitutions.

scan-1.jpg?width=282Remember the good ol’ days of the Obama regime?

Me either but there WERE days when things were not as they are today. Mainly because they were the earliest days of the regime and the Dictator hadn’t the time yet to extend his special brand of Muslim and socialist corruption far and wide.

Before he was even elected back in 2008, there were those of us who were wondering exactly who this guy was?

Barack Hussein Obama…there were plenty of indications back THEN that he wasn’t who he said he was…an American citizen. Old book jackets said he was born in Kenya. The Kenyan GOVERNMENT said he was born in Kenya.

There were no college records we were allowed to see…no thesis we were allowed to read…nobody knew who financed his upper class education, and where-oh-where was his BIRTH CERTIFICATE???

Well…he cleared it all up by RELEASING his birth certificate didn’t he? You know…the one that was proven to be a fake by people who understood exactly how to fake that sort of thing and then by a law enforcement investigation that also proved his social security number is fraudulent and so is his selective service registration but…those were the good ol’ days of the regime.

What followed has been nothing short of a cascade of corruption flowing down from what was purported to be the “most transparent administration in history.”

Ten conservative organizations are protesting legislation designed to help one of the richest men in the world warning that it violates federalism, opens the door to regulation of the Internet and is an pure example of crony capitalism.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), have introduced legislation known as the Restoration of America’s Wire Act as a way to helping billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson stamp out competition coming from states that have legalized online gaming.  Adelson's minions have testified that the movement in the states will have devastating impact on Las Vegas and the Sands Corporation's bottom line.

Led by David Williams, the President of Taxpayers Protection Alliance, the letter to Congress notes that “TPA has many concerns with the Restoration of America’s Wire Act, which would essentially ban Internet gaming across the country,” said Williams. “This legislation goes too far by interjecting the federal government in what has traditionally been a state issue. Additionally, the legislation would not stop online gambling and would instead embolden criminals to prey on consumers in a black market that is typically operated abroad with little oversight. I encourage the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees to stand strong against this gross overreach by the federal government.”  Williams concluded, “this legislation is also a backdoor attempt to regulate the Internet.

The complete letter sent to Congress reads as follows:

Dear Chairmen Goodlatte and Leahy, and Ranking Members Conyers and Grassley,

We, the undersigned individuals and organizations, are writing to express our deep concerns about
the Restoration of America’s Wire Act (H.R. 4301), which would institute a de facto ban on internet gaming in all 50 states. The legislation is a broad overreach by the federal government over matters traditionally reserved for the states. H.R. 4301 will reverse current law in many states and drastically increase the federal government’s regulatory power. As we have seen in the past, a ban will not stop online gambling. Prohibiting states from legalizing and regulating the practice only ensures that it will be pushed back into the shadows where crime can flourish with little oversight. In this black market, where virtually all sites are operated from abroad, consumers have little to no protection from predatory behavior.

Perhaps even more concerning is the fact that this bill allows the federal government to take a heavy hand in regulating the Internet, opening the door for increased Internet regulation in the future. By banning a select form of Internet commerce, the federal government is setting a troubling precedent and providing fodder to those who would like to see increased Internet regulation in the future. We fear that H.R. 4301 will begin a dangerous process of internet censorship that will simultaneously be circumvented by calculated international infringers while constraining the actions of private individuals and companies in the United States.

H.R. 4301 also creates carve-outs that exempt certain special interests from the federal government’s reach. This amounts to the federal government picking winners and losers – choosing select industries or private-sector businesses to succeed at the expense of others, which is at odds with free-market competition.

In total, H.R. 4301 is an inappropriate and unnecessary use of federal powers that infringes on the rights of individuals and states. We applaud you for standing against this government overreach and preserving the principles of federalism and free-market competition that underscore American democracy.

America meet “Obama’s social justice or better yet social injustice” a robin hood philosophy that circumvents the laws of our land attacking our freedoms and rights.  In the past five years, Obama has sold us a pig in a poke wrapped up in pretty ribbon with all of the Liberal bells and whistles.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that our beautiful America and American citizens are slowly becoming the property of “big Government.”   In five years Obama has changed the social landscape in our great Nation by redistributing our money, changing laws and picking and choosing who receives certain advantages and who are the recipients of certain disadvantages.

For 50 some odd years, a very small minority group has fought “God” Christianity, the Cross, memorials and a slew of other important things like our children and our children’s education.

Everyone knows the group that is described above and each year their war on Christmas grows as they litter our streets, highways and public areas with billboards and signs in their feeble attempt to remove “God” from our Nation.  Every year a Liberal judge plays Robin Hood and gives them another slice of our God given freedoms.

Next comes Obama’s “social political justice” which merely means a selective process that buys votes and support for Barack Obama and the DEMS.  Obama chooses include the LGBT community and illegal aliens over African Americans - African Americans are the recipients of the disadvantages.  Selective is the keyword here – Obama perceives that he already has the African American votes in the bag so he turns on them chastising them when they express their grievances.

Big daddy Obama told the African American community to “Take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes.  Shake it off. Stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying.”  But notice that the LGBT community has managed to get everything their little heart’s desire.

This group of people are pretty savvy about the political process and they did two things; (1) They voted for Obama with strings attached – meaning Obama would have to pay them off just like he did with his big bundlers, and (2) They vetted him arming themselves with damaging information about Obama’s relationships and activities before he ran for office.

They forced Obama to flip flop on marriage – he retracted his statements that marriage was between a man and women.  But their wish list kept growing and unlike the majority of Americans, they made the Government work for them.

Obama gave them ““Don’t ask, Don’t tell” in the Military, which probably wasn’t the safest decision for our brave Military men and women, but that will be an issue debated later after we have a few more wars under our belt.

It’s a mystery why they haven’t quite figured how what caused the HIV /Aids epidemic, but they don’t have a clue or do they?  Anyway in order to continue their lifestyle they’ve asked for more money, lots more money from Obama in order to reduce the number of HIV infections via increased training and various support services. 4063829803?profile=original

Obama with that favorite pen he keeps talking about gave them more hate crime laws, supported their civil unions and followed by more and more discrimination laws. That my friends is “Political Social  Injustice.”

Then along came the somewhat ugly face of what Obama calls social justice or economic disparity, which included Obamacare, Common Core, IRS, NSA and of course the not so famous  “Dream Act” which benefits about 20 ml. illegals – this was a mere ploy to purchase Hispanic Votes for the 2012 Presidential Election. Obama’s pen at work again, as he says with or without Congress.

As is the President’s style he’s revised, changed amended and screwed around with the “Dream Act” to suit his fancy, but the bottom line is this – Obama has managed to give a safe haven to the illegals until  he gets his way on immigration.

Obama’s State of the Union Address laid out his “social justice” plans for Americans in the next 3 years, which includes income inequality, more redistribution, raising minimum wage, climate change, further revisions of Obamacare and immigration changes - he threatens Congress and Americans that he will do this with or without them…

As mentioned earlier Obama picks and chooses who receives certain advantages and who the recipients are of certain disadvantages (and that would be us – the taxpayers).  Obama’s  robin hood philosophy of social justice has in fact harmed all working Americans, our economy, or job growth, our children’s education and has stalled the “American Dream” diminishing our freedom and rights.

The next time you hear Barack Obama speak of social justice, income equality or economic disparity grabbed your wallet and run, because he’s about to place one more costly burden on your shoulders.

“His Majesty” Obama has big plans for America, but like O’Reilly said to Geraldo Rivera, “I don’t think he has majesty! He’s not a king!” O’Reilly said, adding that he respects the office of the presidency but presidents still need to be held accountable.  O'Reilly, let's get one thing straight "accountable" to Obama is making sure that all hard working Americans contribute to his perverted social justice agenda - so far he's won that battle!

As Always,

Little Tboca

4063772054?profile=originalMillions of American Families losing health care must stand up for their Healthcare Freedom

How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!” Samuel Adams, January 21, 1776

For many of the 3.5 million American families that according to the Associated Press, the loss of their family health insurance came at them like a wrecking ball. Their very economic health and stability for their family members has been shattered because of a president who comforted millions of citizens with the one phrase which shall live in historical infamy: “If you like your health care you can keep your health care guaranteed and period!” Barack Obama – 35 times!

That one statement which as it turns out was a carefully plotted assault upon the comfort and trusting nature of the middle of the road America was used to plant the Trojan horse into the health care system like a deadly killer virus causing mass destruction. Now, 3.5 million families, much like you or your neighbor or co-workers are faced with the onerous choice of Obama’s one size fits all brand of engineered socialism or face possible excessive fines, liens against your home and in the end a surgical neutering of your own self determination and freedom. You have been obamafied!

Recent responses from readers as well as on conservative radio and in print have examined the horror and dismay that many families are facing as they attempt to deal with providing health insurance for a family member undergoing an operation, or a child who is faced with an illness or a female member who is suffering from breast cancer. Tens of thousands of examples of the gloomy prospects are pouring in, and yet in each one there is a solution.

Instead of worrying about what and when the congress will remedy this debacle it is clear that the solution lies with the family that has suffered this individual injustice. This is truly the point in the American experience when your neighbor, your distant relative and even your babysitter or church member can create your own distinctly American Insurance Freedom From Obamacare Campaign.

Imagine how the nation’s founding fathers felt at the beginning of the American Revolution and even months and years before. Sure there were writers and patriots in the colonies that were demanding justice from the British, which were largely ignored. Did that deter the common patriot who decided that his neighbor’s home that had been invaded time and time again by the British was not his fight? What about the British loyalists who were working to destroy the rights and freedoms which were God given to each and every American colonist member? These rights were stripped away by colonial government loyalists that cared more for the cruel boot and heel on their necks than the true essence of what freedom from continued oppression represented. These modern day sympathizers are the Obama democrats that stand with the socialist-in-chief and continue to mine the harbors of freedom.

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined." Patrick Henry, June 5, 1778.

Were you one of the six Obamacare enrollees, which according to Fox News, made it through on the first day of Obamacare while 700,000 got caught up in the avalanche of the launch disaster? Secret notes from an Obama administration HHS War Room meeting revealed only six people made it through the rollout gauntlet, while another 248 succeeded the second day. These unfortunate souls are now well aware of the sticker shock which awaits all other who must now succumb to the President’s purposeful lie, “"If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, I guarantee it!" - Barack Obama.

After a month, according to the Washington Times the actual numbers of enrollees remain a well protected mystery. What is known is that Rep. Darrell Issa, (R-Ca) chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, is enraged that America and the 2 million citizens who had their insurance policies terminated may be left in an Obamanized limbo. Subpoenas are sure to be flying fast and furiously from his committee to HHS and the White House to seek the truth.

Unfortunately for the 2 million of an expected 14 million individuals scurrying for affordable healthcare coverage, this is only beginning of their difficulties. With each persistent lie by Obama the stinging reality of its impact has cut at the very heart of American families and undermined their own economic and health freedom. The nightmare spiral of the president’s deception is just beginning.

Whether you are a young hard working family with children in Ohio, or a middle aged couple in Florida or an individual in Kentucky trying to live paycheck to paycheck, the vicious lie of Obamacare is strangling you no matter which way you try to turn. October was bad, but November and December will get worse.

Consider the dilemma that you and countless millions of Americans are only now beginning to face. You had an insurance policy that covered you and your family and your budget could make that work for you. It should have been grandfathered in, but it was not. As Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly suggested on her broadcast this week, the administration knew about those facts.

Now, the government mandate which was voted on by only democrats in both the House and the Senate has torn away your economic security blanket from underneath you. Where do you think you are going to turn to next for securing your family’s health and pay your bills?

It appears the ACA is unconstitutional

28 October 2013

The Honorable Congressman Smith

The Honorable Senator Cornyn

The Honorable Senator Cruz

Good morning Gentlemen!

On this bright Monday morning I have a question I would ask you ask yourselves...... once you have the answer, what comes next appears to be obvious and unavoidable... the only way to fix this is remove it.

The "version" of the Affordable Care Act (ACA, obamacare) that became Law originated in the Senate.

Chief Justice Roberts clearly stated the ACA was "constitutional" as a TAX (not healthcare).

The Constitution of the United States clearly tells us that the House holds the purse strings, controls funding - and is able to tax.... The SENATE is incapable of creating a TAX according to law.

The question to ask yourselves is this: Since the Senate version of the ACA is what became Law - Chief Justice Roberts said the ACA is a TAX - and only the House can create a tax....

Why does the ACA continue to exist - as it is an unconstitutional mandate from a government body unauthorized to do what was done. Yet signed by all......................

Respectfully,

SFC (USA Retired) Aubrey Mason

San Antonio, Texas

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott

4063763816?profile=originalI came by this yesterday - thought everyone should see it.... share as you see fit.

This is an employee handout from United HealthCare - one of the obamacare insurance companies.... Ya know, one of them receiving a $10 billion taxpayer dollar kickback over a 10 year period.... (the last time I read this particular law - this is called insurance fraud and quite illegal.... but apparently no so much if obama does it.........)

Inside, on page #1 is a section titled "Affordable Care Act Transition Reinsurance Fee". This section describes a "fee" all employees will pay each paycheck (bimonthly).

Here is the full text from this section;

The Affordable Care Act transition reinsurance fee is payable to the Department of Health and Human Services. This new fee will apply to all employees and their dependents who will be enrolled in medical coverage. The fees are:

Employee-only coverage:                                     $2.30/paycheck

Employee+Spouse/domestic partner coverage:      $4.60/paycheck

Employee+child(ren) coverage:                            $6.24/paycheck

Employee+family coverage:                                 $9.43/paycheck

What this says is that as an employee - you are going to be charged a "fee" every paycheck, paid to HHS.... and there are NO limits on exactly how long this "fee" is going to be taken out of your check!! From all appearances (and what I can discern in the ACA) this "fee" will exist for as long as you are employed - and I suspect this is just the tip of the iceberg - as eventually people are going to start looking at their paycheck stubs and questioning why there are so many additional taxes coming out of their check they have never seen before.....

Bottom line:

If there are 100 million single people employed in the US (I just pulled a number out of the air) that means that if we take the "Employee only" "fee" of $2.30/paycheck, multiply it by 100 million people - the federal government is raking in $460 million dollars a month! ON THIS "FEE" ALONE!!!!!

If you make that 100 million "Employee+family" coverage the federal government is raking in $1.886 TRILLION dollars a month!!!

Now do you understand why the democrats find obamacare non-negotiable?

Almost $2 TRILLION dollars a month additional revenue they have to spend!!!!!

WHISKY TANGO FOXTROT !!!!

Has anyone else bought sporting goods recently? Look on your receipt to see the obamacare taxes there!

If you have visited your Veterinarian and had surgery on your pet - look on your receipt to see the obamacare taxes there!

In almost every aspect of our lives.... this "obamacare" is taxing us..... It has caused every price on every consumable and healthcare product to increase - by the addition of TAXES!!!

Chief Justice Roberts CLEARLY told the world this was not healthcare - IT IS A TAX!!!

Wake up to the fact you are not receiving any sort of "affordable" anything.... this is another means this regime lied to Americans to hide their new method of funding a corrupt government!

With all of the hiked insurance premiums - in reality - the only ones who will find obamacare "affordable" are those who will not be paying for it......... (welfare recipients, illegal aliens, etc.....)

You really need to remember all of Mr. Obama's rhetoric about "redistribution of wealth"..... he meant it and he's being allowed to DO it.....

This is in-your-face tyranny.

United HealthCare is leading the pack (so to speak) advising employees of this new "fee" - as would be expected from one of the participating obamacare insurance companies.... but it is just a matter of time before all employers tell their employees the same....

Those of you in Congress, reading this, had best understand that as a Nation of free people - we hold you accountable for your actions.

If you are one of those denigrating Senator Cruz, understand this: Senator Cruz is doing what his constituents asked him to do - not what he wanted to do - because we the people wrote all of YOU, millions of letters telling YOU we didn't want this, we shut down your entire telephone systems on multiple occasions trying to tell you this.... Senator Cruz listened.

YOU didn't - and we WILL remember this come the next elections............... BOTH PARTY's!
