It's a Gas

Source;  sent from a friend on the internet.

Several atmospheric gases, including CO2, methane, and water vapor, absorb light in the infrared region. These are collectively known as the “greenhouse gases” because absorbing infrared energy warms up the air.

CO2, on a per-molecule basis, is 6 times as effective an absorber as water is. However, that’s offset by the fact that CO2 is only about 0.04% of the atmosphere. This means that, overall, it’s much less important than water vapor in terms of its ability to warm the atmosphere.

Then there’s methane. Pound-for-pound methane can trap 25 times more heat than CO2. However, scientists say it will never significantly contribute to global warming. Primarily, it is by far the rarest of the greenhouse gases. Methane’s narrow absorption bands, at 3.3 microns and 7.5 microns, perfectly match---water’s! The ratio of the percentages of water to methane is such that the effects of methane are completely masked by water(1). When it comes to methane, termites are responsible for 11% of the world’s production, 76% comes from wetlands. A ‘significant change’ in tropical weather ascribed to human-caused climate change has led wetlands to get bigger and more plants to grow there, thus leading to more decomposition — a process that produces methane. Wasn’t that long ago when environmentalists were ardent supporters of wetlands.

NOTE,  left-wing climate extremists blame human-caused climate change for increasing flora and fauna causing methane while this same “human-caused” climate change is also claimed to be making the earth an arid wasteland too.

Meanwhile, ignoring the predominance of naturally occurring methane, left-wing climate fanatics wants to eliminate traditional farming and ranching because they are sources of methane, primarily from ruminant livestock and paddy rice. Rice growing produces methane gas by feeding microbes that live under the rice paddies. Cattle produce methane during their digestive process.

Consider that it was estimated that the digestive tracts of termites produce about 50 billion tons of CO2 and methane annually. That was more than the world’s production from burning fossil fuel. The journal Science's article Termites: A Potentially Large Source of Atmospheric Methane, Carbon Dioxide, and Molecular Hydrogen stated: “The estimate gross amount of carbon dioxide produced is more than twice the net global input from fossil fuel production.” Even the left-wing ny times ran an article titled: “Termite gas exceeds smokestack pollution.”

None of this information stops the biden regime though. It wants regulations on methane emissions by the U.S. oil and gas industry, at a direct cost of more than $1 billion annually, to deal with a nonexistent problem.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the left-wing policy-makers behind so-called “climate science” actually followed the science. But then, it’s all about political not environmental science. And that's the real existential threat!

Every prosperous country has developed using fossil fuels. No poor country has been able to develop to the point of prosperity without massive fossil fuel use. The reason is that development requires energy, and fossil fuels are a uniquely cost-effective, including scalable, source of energy In recent decades China and India have used large amounts of low-cost, reliable energy from fossil fuels to rapidly develop. Since 1980, India's fossil fuel use has increased by >700% and China's by >600%. India's life expectancy increased by 17 years and China's by 14!

Even prosperous countries can't replace fossil fuels with solar and wind. Over the last 2 decades, the prosperous world has been trying to use more and more solar and wind energy. The ominous results of this experiment so far: higher prices and reliability declines even at relatively low levels of solar and wind use. Despite claims that solar and wind are rapidly replacing fossil fuels, they provide less than 5% of world energy—only electricity, ⅕ of energy—and, crucially, even that small percentage depends on huge subsidies and reliable (mostly fossil-fueled) power plants. Solar and wind’s basic problem is unreliability, to the point they can go near zero at any time. Thus they don’t replace reliable power, they parasitize it. This is why they need huge subsidies and why no grid is near 50% solar and wind without parasitism on reliable neighbors. The left-wing idea that we can use mostly or only solar and wind with sufficient battery backup is not being tried anywhere because it’s absurd. Batteries are so expensive that just 3 days of global backup using Musk’s Megapacks would cost $570 trillion, about 6X global GDP

Fossil-fueled development isn't causing a climate crisis, it's making humanity much safer from climate, giving it the incredible ability fossil fuels give us to master all forms of climate dangers.

The world lives on oil. China lives on it. The U.S. lives on it. Whether the petulant Bolshevik children of “The squad” like it or not, the world wants oil. It all begins and ends with oil.

Wasn’t it only yesterday that the US under President Trump was an energy independent nation? Yes. But then biden was elected and immediately open the Southern border of the U.S. and killed the Keystone Pipeline and declared an end to energy independence. He joined with the hard Bolshevik left of BSanders to wage war on fossil fuels, especially oil and gas. But Russia didn’t stop drilling. Russia didn’t stop producing. And the additional billions they picked up selling oil to China funded Russia’s War on Ukraine, that biden himself tacitly approved.

As the left-wing politico reported: “Crude oil exports from iran have risen on biden’s watch despite U.S. sanctions aimed at punishing Tehran for its nuclear ambitions, military aggression and support for terrorism [between $60-80 Billion]  Now, violence by the iranian-allied palestinian group is fueling new calls for the U.S. to choke off that revenue stream, which Republican lawmakers have lambasted as an ill-fated attempt at appeasement.”

biden promised to provide billions of dollars more to iran, and iran uses oil revenues to fund terrorism, including the iran proxy terrorist groups hamas and hezbollah. iran funds hamas and hezbollah. iran trains and feeds world terrorism and the rockets and the death.

We were energy independent. But biden demanded Americans to buy electric vehicles, which Americans don’t want. And he went to war on American oil. And by doing so, he aided Russia in Ukraine–Russia had the money to fund its wars–and he helped iran and hamas slice at Israel.

These are biden’s war fronts. Remember that it was biden who brought rob malley into the White House as his U.S. envoy to iran. malley was 1 of the architects of the notorious BObama-biden nuclear deal with iran. He has now been stripped of his security clearance for suspected misuse of American secrets pertaining to intelligence involving Iran.

This has been an exercise in cynicism and media manipulation and the Washington-liberal-democrat Media Complex had been so hypnotized by the BObama-biden operatives that they were helpless. BObama’s deputy national security adviser, ben rhodes, bragged about media manipulation to The ny times, saying the media was full of inexperienced know-nothings who were helpless before him and were eager to be mesmerized, saying: “We created an echo chamber...They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say...The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old…They literally know nothing.”

And now biden, avoiding the realities on the ground, avoiding the realities that are understood by all: It begins and ends with oil.

1.    A study published in the peer-reviewed journal Nature Geoscience suggests methane traps and offsets heat, the latter through its effects on clouds. This research indicates climate models are inaccurate because they treat methane only as a heat source. The research confirms methane does act like a blanket in the atmosphere, however, as Robert Allen, of the University of California, Riverside, said of the study by scientists from universities and research institutes in the United States, France, Norway, the United Kingdom, and Austria, methane also: “encourages changes in clouds that have a slight cooling effect...This has implications for understanding in more detail how methane and perhaps other greenhouses gases can impact the climate system, Shortwave absorption softens the overall warming and rain-increasing effects but does not eradicate them at all." The research indicates methane’s impact on cloud cover offsets approximately 30% of the surface warming methane contributes. That means climate models assume methane contributes about 30% more surface warming than it in fact does. Methane also tends to boost precipitation through its impact on long-wave radiation, which climate models typically treat as contributing to warming. However, methane “suppresses that increase by 60%” by absorbing shortwave energy, the study found.

WE DO LIVE IN SUCH A DUMB COUNTRY!!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents' permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion, or change your gender — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation's largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is "cute" but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

A Foreign Foreign Policy

Source; SNGLR

Charles Hurt, the opinion editor at The Washington Times said of biden reading his speech on the Middle East: “It was like watching an old man picked up off the street and hauled before cameras to be waterboarded.”

The world sees the spectacular weakness in biden. There is no hiding it. And who is responsible? The left-wing/democrats who installed him to wreak his dreams upon the world.

It is biden’s own policies that fuel both war in Ukraine, where trench lines that have barely shifted for nearly a year and feed Iran’s war machine. It’s all about the oil and continuation of ruinous policy from BObama. Meanwhile, biden apologists—including those Iran apologists within his administration—refuse to acknowledge that he and BObama have allowed Iran to reap $70 billion in petrodollars to fund hamas and hezbollah terrorism against Israel.

Even the constant protection of the corrupt left-wing media no longer works for biden as it once did.  He’s weak. He’s afraid of Iran. He appeases iran. His disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan was only the beginning. The people see what he’s done. They’re waking up. They know.

At least when jimmy carter was exposing himself to the world as a weak man, when his name became a joke synonymous with feebleness, when the Americans were taken hostage in Iran.  carter only cemented the notion he was a weakling when he literally panicked and  feared he was being threatened. Yet even through that, as inflation tore through our wallets and our savings, as Iran burned our flag, as our hostages waited helplessly because the president was so seemingly powerless, the libs/dems were behind him and we called him president.

But that’s not true for today’s left-wing/democrats, who tear each other up over support for Israel. The hard left has grown. They’re the anti-Semites who hate Israel. They’re the democrats who support the do-nothing Soros prosecutors who don’t prosecute. And they take the country on a wild, dangerous joy ride, to a demolition derby on their intersectionality highway where victimhood crashes into victimhood.

The democrats have a hamas problem(1). It is an alliance of the sick, of the ill, of the liberal ideology addicts. “The virulent anti-Israel protests across America and Europe throw a glaring light on the bizarre alliance between left-wing activists and militant Muslims...That odd combination has been the bedrock of political activism at universities and in the streets for years. It began in universities, where it now dominates political discourse, threatens Jewish students, and intimidates anyone brave enough to voice their dissent. We can now see how it has spread far beyond the campus.”--Charles Lipson

biden is little more than a meat puppet. He will not debate anyone with a brain and can speak, let alone sit for hard-ball news interviews. That scripted puff piece by 60 minutes doesn’t count. America watched, horrified as he played Israel for campaign photo ops and could barely recite the lines provided to him by his puppet masters. He could barely focus his gaze. But then, cBS News has long been in the liberal/democrat pocket, pumping for BObama’s notorious Iran nuclear deal promoted by left-wing media manipulator and puppeteer ben rhodes–the brother of then cBS president david rhodes–is but one example of the dangers of the liberal/democrat Media Complex.

And libs/dems will push joe’s wrong-headed policy of linking U.S. military aide to Ukraine to support for Israel and humanitarian aide for palestinians–which means terrorist hamas will get more of your money.

When Secretary of State anthony blinken speaks, think of 2 things: biden’s horror at even mentioning Iran as the architect of the hamas war crimes against Israeli civilians in Gaza, and how blinken got his job in the 1st place. It was Blinken who orchestrated the slime attack against The New York Post for its reporting of the hunter laptop fiasco and the increasing the dangerous powers of the Deep State and all its surveillance of Americans, to the pushing of endless wars and their determination to set unelected federal bureaucrats against American liberty.

The Federalist warned against the impulse now being fueled by biden to build 1 big war in the Middle East and Ukraine. "The stakes of this one war are so high — civilization itself hangs in the balance! — that the US must get deeply involved in both of them." That’s what biden peddled in hos Oval Office sppech.

Aid to Israel and Ukraine should not be linked. We should support our ally Israel. The U.S. is $33 trillion in debt and the biden regime has opened our borders and how many terrorists have crossed over? Let Israel do what must be done to protect Israeli citizens. Stop linking aid to Ukraine with aid to Israel. And stand up to Iranian aggression, stop helping fund Iranian terrorism, or it will only get worse for America and the world.

Our leaders feel free to propagate a bizarre and unbounded species of turbo liberalism. 3rd-wave feminism, the esoteric doctrines of the rainbow LGBTQIA+ brigade, open-borders immigration and race politics, the ever-escalating climate agenda and similar strangeness all have their separate etiologies, but what opened the door to them in the first place was the absence of any clear external threat. These are above all ideological luxuries which the left-wing elites of wealthy nations feel they are in a position to afford.

“We live in the most dangerous moment in a generation. Our world, set on edge by an erratic, unstable president. This is a moment that requires strong, steady, stable leadership. We need someone tested and trusted around the world...“Right now, we don’t really have a foreign policy. I’m not being facetious — we don’t have a foreign policy... “Day One you gotta be able to stand up and the world know you know what you’re talking about. Know you know what you’re saying. And know you mean what you say. We have to set aside our divisions and come together as Americans."--joe biden

And with biden, how has it turned out?

biden has been “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue” over the course of his career. biden has repeatedly demonstrated his penchant for being wrong, now more than ever, with the perils we now face as a result.

Our global adversaries witnessed his disastrous surrender and retreat from Afghanistan, and as a consequence, the resurrection of the taliban and the islamic state and al-Qa'ida. Then, the bloody and totally predictable invasion of Ukraine by putin, posing a greater threat to NATO. And now it’s the invasion of Israel by iranian-backed terror surrogate hamas. And  the additional strategic challenge posed by iran’s other terror surrogate, its Lebanese hezbollah cells from the north.

Power does not tolerate a vacuum or a vacuous appeaser like biden. He empowered iran by releasing billions of dollars to this rogue regime in exchange for 6 hostages, and now there's more hostages by iran proxies. And by ignoring iran’s sale of 1.5 million barrels of oil daily to its ally, the Red Chinese, despite sanctions, iran has $50-$80 BILLION dollars to support more terrorism.

Meanwhile, biden was busy at the time of the attack this week promoting the 50th birthday of thug our lord floyd in an effort to reinvigorate his “systemic racism” lie. biden trotted out his deceptive “police reform” rhetoric, declaring, “I will continue to do everything in my power to fight for police accountability and urge Congress to pass meaningful police reform and send it to my desk.”

OK, after that bs joe was off to Israel for some regional “shuttle diplomacy,” but hamas(2) short-circuited that plan by launching the first of many propaganda campaigns, this one claiming the IDF targeted and bombed a Gaza hospital. Despite copious (for you left-wingers that means a whole hell of a lot of REAL) evidence to the contrary, the left-wing media, like all addicted to flawed liberal ideological dogma, never let those pesky facts get in the way, blamed Israel first, and idiotically repeated that propaganda because, after all, they trust islamic terrorists!

For the record, Israel and iran both know that the IDF incident report can be corroborated by our intelligence overwatch assets in the region, but that did not stop iran’s foreign minister, channeling the likes of baghdad bob, from declaring: “Time is running out very fast. If the war crimes against the palestinians are not immediately stopped, other multiple fronts will open and this is inevitable.”  Ah, yes, the “palestinians,” a fabricated name for that sect of Egyptian outcasts that nobody in the Arab world wants in their country. Maybe iran can take them in with the $billions joe gave them.

iran is at expert level when it comes to left-wing media manipulation. And that manipulation resulted in our principal Middle East ally, King Abdullah II of Jordan, canceling his scheduled meeting with biden, who was hoping for a photo op to appear like he has some gravitas in the region. That meeting, along with his canceled meeting with palestinian authority leader Mahmoud Abbas, should never have been scheduled — and now is just more fodder for the biden clown show. Suffice it to say that joe biden makes inept jimmy carter look like a great statesman.

Back to reality, can a divided America deter China and Russia? According to Robert Gates, 22nd Secretary of Defense and former Director of the CIA during the fall of the ussr : "The US now confronts graver threats to its security than it has in decades, perhaps ever. Never before has it faced 4 allied antagonists at the same time — Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran — whose collective nuclear arsenal could within a few years be nearly double the size of its own. Not since the Korean War has the US had to contend with powerful military rivals in both Europe and Asia, a time when an adversary had as much economic, scientific, technological, and military power as China does today.

The problem is that at the very moment that events demand a strong and coherent response from the US, the country cannot provide one. Its political leadership doesn't care that developments in China and Russia matter, how the threats posed by these countries are interconnected. They have failed to articulate a long-term strategy to ensure that the US, and democracy will prevail.

China's xi jinping and Russia's putin share convictions. 1st, each is convinced that his personal destiny is to restore the glory days of his country’s imperial past. For xi, this means reclaiming imperial China’s once dominant role in Asia while harboring even greater ambitions for global influence. For putin, it means pursuing an awkward mixture of reviving the Russian Empire and recapturing the deference that was accorded the Soviet Union. 2nd, both leaders are convinced that the developed democracies — above all, the US — are past their prime and have entered an irreversible decline, evident in these democracies’ weak woke leaders, internal political warfare, and domestic disarray.

Taken together, xi and putin portend a dangerous period ahead for the US. The problem is not merely military strength and aggressiveness. It is also that both leaders have already made major miscalculations at home and abroad and seem likely to make even bigger ones in the future. Their decisions could well lead to catastrophic consequences for themselves — and for the US.

Washington will require strategic vision and bold action. Therein lies the rub. On our near horizon is an existential threat to the US and our allies resulting from the left-wing's ineptitude and appeasement. They have enabled Iran’s rapidly approaching rollout of its nuclear “islamic bomb,” which the first line of defense against that threat has been, and remains, Israel. Meanwhile, on our immediate horizon posing an imminent existential threat is Red China – beset with its own internal economic decline, the chiComs best way to divert attention from domestic problems is to rally nationalism. Thus, in light of the degraded state of our military readiness, the potential for China’s surge across the Taiwan straits to force “reunification,” as affirmed by its aggressive projections, is a greater risk now than in decades. That would be very bad for everybody!

The same left-wing who is concerned about other nation’s borders, who closed down our economy needlessly because of the china virus tells us they can't close our border. biden himself has proven to be the red flag warning for America. In his own words: “Right now, we don’t really have a foreign policy. I’m not being facetious — we don’t have a foreign policy.” But more so, we don't have a sound American foreign policy. Instead, we have a left wing regime that dislikes Americans.

1. According to a Harvard/Harris poll, only the police and military are more respected than Israel.  Then again, “palestinian authority” gets 17% support, and hamas has a 14% positive rating — which is to say, 14% of your neighbors have taken the side of a medieval religious cult that’s vicious enough to cut Jewish babies out of mothers before beheading them. If 14% of Americans supported ISIS or al Qaeda or the Nazi Party, would you be concerned?

The BObama types, who do the perfunctory throat-clearing about Israel’s right to exist before going into the usual reasons it should not. This faction is a growing concern in the left-wing/democratic Party. According to the Harvard poll crosstabs, 36% of “liberals” of all ages agreed that the hamas unprovocated brutal attack on civilians was justifoed.  While antisemitism isn’t the exclusive domain of left, full-blown hamas apologists are now deeply embedded in left-wing institutions such as universities, major newspapers, cable news, progressive politics, think tanks, and the State Department. They have the kind of disproportionate reach and institutional respect that cosplaying Nazis standing in front of Disney playing with themselves can only dream about.

2. The leaders of hamas are Palestinian. Not Qatari. Yet 2 weeks after a Hamas attack on Israel that in its barbarity dwarfed Sept. 11, they continue to live in luxury in Qatar, a tiny Persian Gulf city-state.

Christianity and your Government

Source; Sent from a friend.....

“Good and evil both increase with compound interest.”---C.S. Lewis

Neo-Liberalism believes that our government should be devoid of Christian religious influences. That, in sum, is an important aspect in the belief system of Neo-Liberalism. Let’s explore the flaws of this world-view about secular government, by using a soundly logical theological lens, which can help us see deeper, farther and with more truth.

First, let’s postulate that government consisting only of either secular, or religious influences is not what the establishment clause in our Bill of Rights intended. The founders recognized and understood that such an unequal mix is an aberration upon the human nature that must comprise government. That aberration leads to catastrophic results (in the interests of making this long story somewhat shorter, it will have to suffice that what’s implied here are proven sound principles of both secular and religious influences as the defining assumption here). The separation of church and state is a very different thing from the separation of religion from government, which is the freedom of conscience as a foundational principle. By embracing a commitment to religious freedom, while leaving open to contestation the particular conception of that commitment, America worked. The establishment clause was meant only to prevent a particular denomination(s) from achieving official sanction and not to preclude specific religious influences in government.

Certain vestiges of Judeo-Christianity in our government places, ones that symbolize what gave ideological birth to the origins of our country and what the founders of it recognized, are used to remind us of what continues to safeguard what we continue to benefit from. That safeguard being the commitment to principles of a higher law, reached with reason, infusing man-made law with both a standard and a limit beyond which no government can alter, abrogate or destroy. Only such transcendent can insure our rights against the ever-changing tempest of human political will and fortune(1).

This origin of the conception of our inalienable rights is spelled out directly in such documents as our Declaration of IndependenceThe Judiciary Act of 1789Federalist #14Washington’s Proclamation of General Thanksgiving, The Pledge of Allegiance, Lincoln’s Decree of 8-12-1861 and The US Code. These conceptions in fact were derived and depend on a particular religious conception only found within the form mentioned above. A conception that requires religious freedom, which consists of the necessity to enunciate, understand and express it publicly, without coercion to, nor obstruction of its acceptance or rejection.

Yet today these conceptions are being challenged not on explicit wording found within our Constitution, and certainly not in an intellectually honest review of its supporting documents or practices but, merely on a phobia propelled by a contorted belief in a penumbra of “an establishment of religion,” one swollen beyond an historic meaning of the term, best described as Post-Modern Nihilistic Existentialism. Its origins can be traced as an outgrowth of a mistaken interpretation of Einstein’s major work, the Special Theory of Relativity STR in essence states that there is no absolute motion. From that the physical world appears to have no single unifying premise. Concrete things become relative. The error in the leap Neo-Liberalism makes is in assuming relativity in physics proves relativism in human intelligence, what we’ll refer to here as the human mind and its material representation called human action. Neo-Liberalism mistakenly assumed that the advancement in science and technology could be replicated in politics and the social order. Defects or short-comings were believed to be capable of being remedied with time and complete adherence to Neo-Liberal ideology.

Einstein, in formulating the STR, insisted on what has become known as the standard of sound science, that a theory be subjected to empirical tests, or as Milton Friedman said:“ The truth of a hypothesis is found from the results of its experience in applications to specific problems and the repeated failure of its implications to be contradicted.” Testing as such can never indisputably prove a theory but it can give it what James Buchanan calls the status of a relatively absolute absolute. The possibility of the theory being proven wrong (by a process called falsifying the hypothesis) can be significantly minimized if not eliminated by the testing.  Consequentially this makes perfect sense why Einstein himself passionately believed in absolute standards of right and wrong. To him moral relativism was a disease. This man, who unlocked some of the basic first secrets of the universe, acknowledged a God too.

Yet in much of the arena comprising the social, testing as such is never conducted. Granted social issues do not hold precisely to an exact science like the physical ones however, an attitude of dogmatism is nevertheless adopted, often on nothing more than some combination of vague experience, good intentions, utopian dreams, self-excusing cliques or satisfying amounts of pedantic presented with panache and confidence. Even Karl Popper’s advice of trying to illustrate or identify the real or perceived “unintended consequences” of accepting a theory is seldom done with intellectual integrity as a measure of good faith.

One of the unintended consequences of this belief-leap by secularism was that it devolved into viewing all religion as a form of mass delusion(2), a safety device in lieu of enlightened secularism(3).  Freud provided the alleged psychological proof for this belief with his all-embracing and hence difficult to test theories (despite the fact that after 100 yrs of experience his hypothesis are falsified, at least by biology—but hey, that’s not relative). Freud’s self-confidence in his dogma provided the basis for his Gnosticism. He believed he could see and hence interpret the hidden meanings below the surface, using his dogma of course, which ruled out a transcendent. However, true to Neo-Liberal arrogance, Freud ironically dismissed any critical analysis of his beliefs in a religious manner, friendly as heretical, unfriendly as infidels.

Marxism too by this time had been honing the same basic Gnosticism, claiming itself, through its high priests, er, I mean high officials, the seer into the inevitability of history and the class patterns it entailed, deriving a dogmatism that even in its time was being falsified by the facts.  Fortunately for Marxists, armed with relativity, they were able to pick, chose and reinvent the history that matched their interpretation. Kinda like little but very dangerous gods.

Add to the mix the third atheist founding father of Post Modern Nihilistic Existentialism, Fredrick Nietzsche, who proclaimed “God is Dead.” Nietzsche advocated that Christianity, the ethic that was the principle engine of individual freedom, achievement and responsibility like no other force in the history of the planet, was no longer tenable. No wonder Richard John Neuhaus said: “Modern atheism is really a atheism against Christianity. The only God it seriously bothers to deny is the monotheistic, eternal and personal God of the Judeo-Christian tradition.” Modern man as defined by these 3 horsemen of its apocalypse thought that to be modern, to be cool, one had to be radically secular.

Free expression of a conviction resting upon honest moral effort, which includes an intellectual one too, is not merely consonant with a free and open society’s purpose but, an essential concomitant of that purpose. However, a society that comes to believe religion is a snare and a delusion is unlikely to value religious freedom, hence setting off on the path for destroying one of the crucial freedoms needed for a morally, legally and culturally healthy free and open society.

So, like all great sea-level changes in human thought, PMNE took time to congeal and gain critical mass. Cultures do not develop in a linear manner but sporadically, with great bursts or great lulls. But when it did, mainly through force and ennui, it created a huge vacuum to fill. Yet cultural, legal and moral institutions and standards cannot exist in a vacuum. This inevitable vacuum is of particular danger since modern government has the unique ability to expand itself with impressive speed and insatiable appetite, for both enemies and friends alike. The replacement, the new religion of secularism, unbridled by a sacred religion that gave it birth and now pronounced dead, was left to fulfill the promises of secular ideology. Those with Nietzsche’s Will to Power, who in the past filled the ultimately restrained clergy, now became politicians with dissolving boundaries on the limits of their action. Totalitarianism arises from a philosophical denial of God, because it leads to a denial of any higher authority for human institutions. If all institutions are understood as mere human inventions, then individuals do not have any rights apart from those granted by men. This allows the state to develop final authority over all other institutions--family, church, market, etc---which always comes to be manipulated for the political ends of the state.

The result is always no different than the collective history of humanity testifies to, and what those who know better predicted. In purging Christianity’s influences from their governing bodies, societies obfuscate their sense of virtue, preparing themselves for totalitarianism(4). Unable to justify differentiating between conflicting claims of good and evil, right and wrong, the resulting propensity is to tolerate anything that is political correct., subverting the very concept of toleration itself. Society at this point drugs itself with secularism, a fixed that goes by the misleading name of humanism, in order to forget that it exists more and more at the whim of political power. And as John Laffler found: “When anything goes, eventually everything does.”

The new secular messiahs, shedding traditional structures, airbrush out the millennium and a half of Christianity’s contributions. Then they become free to rewrite and reinvent morality to promote their agenda, uninhabited by any religious sanctions of the past, proceeding unencumbered with the same immutable age-old human passions and appetites. Such processes, aided by the technologies of the modern state; receiving sustenance from a world-view of Post Modern NihilisticExistentialism, adrift in a relativistic world of their own design, abetted by a religio-phobic media that openly undermines Christianity regardless of the social carnage in its wake, is exactly what happened during the 20th century, which can be summarized as a century long war against the God of Christianity. That war, to date, tallies about 150 million killed-mostly within nations themselves and against their own citizens, oceans of blood, mountains of corpses, billions who were enslaved in Auschwitz and Gulag states, ecosystems polluted, whole nations plundered under complete totalitarian systems and a Cold War that threatened global catastrophe. Some  better alternative!

It was Alexander Solzhenitsyn who pointed out that:" The primary trait of the entire 20th century is precisely that men have forgotten GOD…The failings of human consciousness, deprived of its divine dimension, have been a determining factor in all the major crimes of the 20th century,”  and it seems we’ve also forgotten what Aristotle also told us ages ago, that stays relevant as long as humans remain human, that a government survives to the benefit of mankind only as long as the family unit does, which Aristotle reminded us includes piety of a religious sort.  Pope Pius XI in Quadragesimo Anno called upon the state to foster those personal freedoms and intermediate institutions for not only the obvious sake of efficiency but much more importantly for the common good: “Just as it is wrong to take away from individuals what they can accomplish by their own ability and effort and entrust it to the collective, so too is it an injury  and at the same time a serious evil  and a disturbance of right order to assign to a centralized power what can be performed successfully by a smaller lesser one.”

The deepest-strongest forces in history are spiritual and cultural, not political or even economic. “By what men and women honor, cherish and worship; by what societies deem to be true and good, and by the expressions they give to those convictions, by what individuals and societies are willing to stake their life on.”—George Weigel. The modern dilemma is as Christopher Dawson wrote: “essentially a spiritual one.” What is needed is a recovery of what has been lost from the collective memory and experience of humanity.  Instead Neo-Liberalism is prosecuting a  cultural war on Christianity. One that is in the form of a revolution designed to completely disconnect with Western civilization’s past and replace it with an ideology and grand plan for remaking the world. No different at its core than that of every tyrant’s promise who came before. However, the process will destroy the very foundations of what has given and sustains the very freedoms we enjoy, with no sound logic, no intellectually credible shred of proof, certainly none found in the entire history of humanity, that this will be a better alternative. The only logically reason their leadership can be waging such as war can only be a interpreted as distain for individual choice and freedom, yours! And the goal of achieving the Will to Power, theirs!

"Economic, political, and personal neo-liberalism or one piece, and all oppose the Catholic faith."--Andrew Sorokowski

1. Today's secularist seems to have no idea that the reason he is able to live his life with the freedom and prosperity he has is because he lives in a society where a moral rule of law is well-established, where other, far more responsible, citizens have made it possible for such as he to enjoy the protection of settled, civilized rules in order. Whether or not he believes in Western civilization’s Christian morality his day-to-day life is made possible because of it.

2. A commonly found trait of those who usually declare themselves hostile or neutral to religion is to reveal the most archaic and regressive notions about contemporary religious and its intellectual foundations. Most of them seem to rely on garbled childhood memories to tell them what religion is and their familiarity with the philosophy, practice, literature and living spokesman of modern religion is strangely scant of cultivated and intelligent people.

3. There is great unanimity as to the present function of religion on the modern social level. In it we find the attainment of cosmic security, motivation for benevolent service, authority for practices and beliefs, means of bringing an end to personal conflict, and the providing of compensations in careers that seem relatively empty. One cannot therefore dismiss religious experiences as an unfortunate illusion without at the same time raising the problem as to whether art, philosophy, and most of the fundamentals of social life and family life are not likewise illusions.

4. Without the ultra rational hopes and passions of religion no society will ever have the courage to conquer despair and attempt the possible. A sound religion can provide the dominant influence in the socialization of man, which can be defined as the systemics of trust, for such a religion is fruitful of the necessary component of such a system, the spirit of contrition. The inner world of conscience, which is in constant rebellion against the outer world of nature, is made supreme over the world of nature by the fiat of religion. The history of religion is proof of the efficacy of it insights in making men conscience of the sinfulness of their preoccupation with self.

Past, Present, Future?

Source; Sent from Anonymous friend

"That's a conspiracy theory" they say?  Was it because we, with all our information, knowledge and wisdom, see something coming, like we have so often in the past? Don't you wonder why everything is getting worse?  Is there is a plan to destroy Western civilization?

Dismissing questions about the decline of our country as conspiracy theories is an attempt at intimidation in order to discourage people from further investigations into those questions.  Or even investigations into conspiracy theories themselves.  Maybe we should take a look at the possibility of conspiracies since the left-wing, and you a member, seems so intent on invalidating them.

A conspiracy is a secret agreement between 2 or more people to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.  A conspiracy can be a little plan or a big one, and it may or may not involve the government.  The claim has been made that conspiracies can't exist because it only takes one person to reveal the plan, and then everyone knows about it.  This isn't necessarily true.  For one thing, whistleblowers are often viewed as crack pots, and their message is frequently disparaged instead of investigated to determine if it is true.  Furthermore, the leaders of some perverse movements have stated their despicable goals outright, and their messages have been ignored.  So no matter whether there is a whistleblower or an outright admission of the plan, conspiracies are not necessarily taken seriously, so the plan can remain a secret right out in the open for all to see.

It just isn't true that conspiracies don't or can't exist.  There have been secret plans throughout history:

    Genocide in Nazi Germany
    The bombing of Pearl Harbor
    911
Germany's pretense for invading Poland in World War II
    Bombings/attacks by terrorists
    Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
Bank robberies — e.g., in Lincoln, Nebraska 2017
Communist control of citizens by spying on and murdering them
Communist reconnaissance missions in foreign countries
Menendez brothers' murder of their parents
Kidnapping conspiracy by Iranian intelligence officials
The 1793 military coup called the Newburgh Conspiracy
Espionage attempts by former CIA agents
Media cover-up of Stalin's famine, which resulted in millions of deaths in Ukraine.

An example of a current conspiracy is the woke movement of hatred against humanity, which includes racism against whites and a crusade against the United States and our way of life.

We have to take leaders of movements seriously, because they are the people who drive those movements.  The environmentalist groups have the desire to terminate human existence, and marxist groups are determined to extinguish the United States, and it should be noted that both those groups are organized.  It is no coincidence that we are now facing the destruction of our country.

What is the motivation of those who don't want us to talk about conspiracies?  Would they have stopped us from talking about the Jewish genocide in Nazi Germany? The purpose of accusing people of being conspiracy theorists is to discredit those who notice patterns, connect dots, and ask questions. And the goal is to shut down not just their speech, but also their thinking. If all the naturally analytical people stop themselves from theorizing about what they're seeing in the cultural and political landscape with a dismissive conspiracy theory wave, well then, the enemy can get away with a lot more.  And if you think that is a conspiracy theory, there is a bridge I want to sell you.

After seeing everything we've seen with the governments enacting all sorts of authoritarian controls and many other conspiracy theories coming true, maybe there's something to be concerned about? Conspiracies have happened in the past, and to think they can't happen again is naïve at best and suicide at worst.  The possibility of bio-warfare has been talked about for years.  Genocide has happened before, and it can happen again, and it doesn't take a gas chamber to do it. Evil people have existed before, and they exist now. Conspiracies are a possibility, and we ignore that fact at our own peril.

“One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their stated intentions rather than by their actual results.”—Milton Friedman

Let's briefly review the progress the great reset and great narrative movement have made in recent years.

Influential leaders from government, corporations, financial institutions, Central banks, think tanks, and various activist groups have been actively calling for a new world order, a great reset and a new great narrative for the human race, driven in large part by technological advancements and globalization.

2. The biden regime has started to lay the foundation for the widespread use of esg scores in the US. I'm on other actions, the biden regime has established new SEC rules that require companies to create various esg reports and disclosures. This regime has also killed Trump era OCC regulations that would have stopped Banks from using esg scores and other very subjective metrics when evaluating customers, and it has established an official program, the first movers coalition, with the world economic forum to further expand the government's public private partnerships with large corporations.

3. Thousands of companies, located in more than 50 countries, have jumped on the esg bandwagon. This includes 82% of large corporations in the us. Adoption is even more common among the largest corporations, about 96% of the g250.

4. Led by the biden regime, the G7 Nations launched in June of 2021 a global build back better world initiative, a great reset themed global infrastructure plan.

5. The European Union is now on the verge of creating a mandatory esg social scoring system, one that would apply to the biggest and most influential companies in Europe, America, and Canada. this mandatory esg system would have an immediate impact on corporate behavior in the us, and as a result, it would dramatically change our own markets and culture.

6. Many of the most powerful CEOs have collaborated with the wef to develop a new international esg model that would standardize scores across North America and Europe.

7. Moody's Investor Services has developed an esg predictor tool that institutions are already using to review esg scores for almost every small and medium size business on the planet, most of which have never produced an esg report.

8. Large financial service companies such as Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan have started to develop personalized ESG scores for individuals, many of whom have no idea that this has occurred. Further, FICO has predicted that esg scores will soon be applied to individuals.

9. With the help of the biden regime, michael bloomberg and other left-wing elites connected to the Biden regime or the wef launched the glasgow financial alliance for netZeroGFANZ members control more than $130 trillion in assets and have pledged to use their wealth and influence to push countries around the world toward the bogus climate goals of the great reset, as well as to destroy as much of the fossil fuel industry as possible.

10. in 2022 the biden regime and the Federal Reserve laid the groundwork for the creation of a new central bank digital currency, one that would almost certainly be programmable, trackable, and easy to manipulate to promote the great reset and the great narrative.

The times in which we live truly do represent an inflection point in the course of humanity. We must be fully attuned to and recognize the reality of the dangers because if we're not, it will swallow up our Liberty and push societies in the direction of full-blown tyranny.

"No problem can be solved without sober identification and acceptance of the nature of the challenge." --Doug Casey

Here are 11 fun assumptions from Mr. Casey about our coming future as things currently stand. Enjoy:

1. Less Freedom of movement. There will be more effort so to restrict and regulate our freedom of movement. From Vax passports to increased visa requirements and 15-min city initiatives – a grid is being constructed to regulate our freedom of movement.

2. A Central Bank Digital Currency is coming. Cash will be eliminated. How restrictive it may end up being, who knows? But, CBDC is a foregone conclusion. Timing? BIS publishes estimates of 14 retail CBDC and 9 wholesale by 2030. And there are indications that the major economies are working to be ready to deploy by 2025.

3. The digital ID is already here. Biometrics are the future. If you have a government issued ID associated with your photograph, you are in the system already. How the ID is deployed and enforced is the only question.

4. GFC 2.0 and/or the Greater Depression. Timing is hard. But, can any thinking person imagine how the outcome can be avoided altogether. Simon Hunt suggests a market pullback of up to 30% between now and early 2024 followed by a pump and a deflationary wipe-out in 2025.

5. Most financial assets will disappear at some point. Inflation, bank bail-in, market wipe out, or the Great Taking.

6. Increasing crime & disorder. You’ve seen the videos, read the articles, maybe even experienced. Whether, driven by economic desperation, mass migration, the inversion of law, or mostly in the name of social justice. Crime and disorder will grow and lead to greater physical threats to our lives and property from our fellow man. This makes urban environments, especially but not exclusively, a real risk.

7. Supply constraints are increasing around all commodities – from food to energy. Tight supplies are showing up everywhere. Live Cattle, long dormant, hit an all-time high recently. Oil Prices are up 30% in the last 3 months. 40% of Argentina’s wheat crop is in poor to fair condition and protectionist policies are on the rise globally.

8. WW3 is coming. A good case can be made that it’s already begun. The Army War College recently published a study suggesting that the All Volunteer Force had reached the end of its useful life. With the military struggling with recruiting, conscription is likely at some point.

9. Censorship and Digital Control will enter a new phase. Deplatforming, de-banking, shadow banning, and social media account suspensions will increase. Centralized digital services of all kinds should be considered suspect and, very likely, dangerous to use in the future. The Secretary-General of the UN antonio guterres wants to silence anyone who dares to stand in the way of their global power grab.

10. The US election – regardless of the outcome – is an inflection point and potentially a flash point. The outcome will not be accepted by half of the country, there may not be a 2024 election. Who knows? We can be sure of is that running up to and shortly after the election, things could get wild. In advance of the 2020 election we had Covid and BLM. Shortly after, J6 and state overreach. What will 2024 bring?

11. There is a war happening today. It’s a war on us. The primary battleground is within the sphere of 5GW – informational/psychological. Much progress has been made in the Great Reset without the need for kinetic tactics. For most of this cycle, they will rely on this same approach. If/When we see a move toward kinetic force, we should be alarmed because we will have entered a new and more dangerous phase.

We do not live in the world of Wiley Coyote, where one can run off the top of a cliff and not start falling until one realizes that there’s no ground below.

Miller-Meeks says she received death threats after voting against Jordan for House speaker. Please call your Reps today at the earliest possible time and then pass this along to everyone you know, and ask them to do the same. We are on a critical time constraint and must move quickly.
>
It should be self evident that the Hard Left, Soros and his ilk in America last groups, and the self serving GOP RINO's are making a full court press against Jim Jordan as potential speaker. I haven't seen this much anti- Conservative, anti-American activity since the two Supreme Court Justices Trump nominated, were put through the star chamber witch hunt process the Hard Left/Deep State/Democratic Party/GOP RINO's tore into them and tried every way they could to discredit their fitness including outright perjury by witnesses against their moral fitness to be a justice.
>
Right now the GOP controlled house is in the dubious position of the possibility that a Democrat will be elected as speaker when several GOP turncoats shift their votes to the Democrat who on Tuesday got 212 votes, while due to the back stabbing and political profiteering GOP Never Trump haters kept Jim Jordans vote totals down to 200. This is unconscionable and mildly traitorous. It smacks of certain Republicans ready to sell out for personal political gain.

Wednesday (TODAY) there will be another vote. As loyal Americans we must start calling our House Representatives. Link to the House Telephone Directory; https://directory.house.gov/#!/  . We need everyone to call their representatives and tell them if they want to keep their jobs as representatives they must go against recent tradition and actually represent the will of their constituents. This must be done before the next vote is called if we are to finally get someone in the speakers [position who will actually oppose the Biden CCP controlled regime.

Their utopia---all lies

Source; Sent from an on-line friend...

One common denominator that explains why previously successful societies implode is their descent into fantasies, lies if you will. Such a collective denial prevents even discussion of existential threats and their solutions.

Something like that is happening in the United States. Eight million illegal immigrants have entered the United States by the deliberate erasure of the southern border. Apparently, biden sees some unstated advantage in destroying U.S. immigration law and welcoming in would-be new constituents. Yet, the more the millions arrive, the more biden and his Homeland Security director mayorkas flat out lie that “the border is secure.” And the more the Americans are lied to that the border is secure, the more they poll — currently 77% — that it is not.

Biden praises this 3-year effort to borrow $6-7 trillion, and spike interest rates threefold to 7% on home mortgages — even as prices on essentials like food and fuel have spiked 25-30% since he entered office. In terms of total returns, this is the biggest bond market rout in 150 years. Last year was in fact US bond investors’ worst year since 1871, with a total return of minus 15.7%, even worse than the annus horribilis of 2009. For 2023, the year-to-date return has been almost minus 10%; annualized, that’s minus 17.3% — even worse than 2022. We are looking at bond investors’ two worst years in a century and a half. The more that biden brags about what he did to the economy, the more people poll — over 60% — dissatisfaction with his alternate reality of “bidenomics.”

Remember August 2021 in Afghanistan? The more retired Gen. Mark Milley, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Biden assured that the American military presence was stable, the more swiftly it crumbled and descended into the worst mass flight of an American army since Vietnam.

Consider natural gas and oil, biden waged war on both by canceling pipelines, drilling on federal lands, and entire oil fields. When the price soared and the 2022 midterms neared, biden suddenly begged formerly shunned illiberal regimes like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela to pump all the hated oil they could to lower the price. A desperate biden drained much of the strategic petroleum reserve — he has yet to refill it — simply to lower the price of gasoline and thus win voters back to the left-wing/democratic Party. When the midterms passed, biden resumed his attack on once bad, then good, and now bad again fossil fuels — at least until the 2024 election.

Stranger still is the denial of the current crime wave in our major cities. Predators and thugs have turned once iconic downtowns into either war zones or ghost towns or both. Smash-and-grab swarming of stores and matter-of-fact shoplifting are destroying commerce in our major cities. Stores either leave or shut down. Communities who vote for politicians who defund the police blame the stores for leaving — but not the criminals whose brazen thefts made it impossible to do business in the inner city. Now modern-day pirates with impunity storm, sink, and rob boats of all kinds in Oakland. leftwing/democrats, who all supported defunding the police, now cannot escape the resulting street violence and unleashed murderous predations.

Everyone knows the culprit is the biden regime's complicity — to defund the police, end cash bail, institutionalize catch-and-release of criminals, and show more sympathy toward victimizers than victims. Yet neither state nor local officials nor biden himself even admits to a crime wave. The more the public is attacked and avoids major downtowns, the more it polls furor over the crime wave. The more liberals/democrats in gaslighting style, claim such alarm is all in our collective heads, the more they themselves are attacked by the very criminals their policies empowered.

Sometimes the lies extend to the trivial. Sen. fetterman, unable to cognitively function, for months had dressed like an utter slob while on the Senate floor. As a gesture of approval, libs/dems junked the dress code so he could wear his sloppy cut-offs and hoodie. Americans were to assume his slovenly costume was normal apparel — and they were hypercritical for thinking otherwise.

left-wing/dem Rep. jamaal bowman pulled a Senate fire alarm to disrupt and delay a vote on continuing the funding of the government. But he got caught on a Capitol surveillance video committing the crime. bowman whined that he got confused. He preposterously claimed by pulling the alarm he thought he was opening a door to go vote. All of that was a lie. The alarm was clearly marked. A sign in front of the door warned not to enter. And the door itself was placarded with cautions that any attempt to open it would set off emergency alarms. bowman assumed by calling his critics nazis and using the race card, he could invent a virtual reality.

People who have never seemed to notice crime and immigration are suddenly noticing crime and immigration. Grocery prices are through the roof, same with gas. liberals’ next Big Idea is to ban gas stoves — after the huge success of their demand that we ban gas cars! To make blindingly clear how crazy they are, left-wing democrats absolutely will not stop pushing transgenders. Republicans ought to be looking at a 1984 landslide. But if it’s Trump, the idiots who don't think will claim because of his mean tweets, and those addicted to liberal ideology won't vote to save our country and for sane political leaders. Despite the left-wing/democrats' epidemic of lies, there remains reality. And we will soon rediscover it all too soon.

"Should the people of America once become capable of that deep simulation towards one another, and towards foreign nations, which assumes the language of justice and moderation while it is practising iniquity and extravagance, and displays in the most captivating manner the charming pictures of candor, frankness, and sincerity, while it is rioting in rapine and insolence, this country will be the most miserable habitation in the world; because we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."--John Adams

There are those who believe in moral relativism, as well as cultural relativism. This is a rather untoward notion that any culture is a good culture simply because it’s a different culture. No culture can be any better than any other culture, therefore any culture that oppressed or usurped culture is a bad one. Any culture that insists it is a better one is the very devil itself. Hence America is a wicked and evil place, because it is a “colonizing” culture, insisting the way we live is better. Which it is, hence millions of people still try to get here every year. Moreover, the notion that one culture cannot be greater than another culture is also ridiculous, and one in which they do not believe anyway. How many times have people from the left criticized a culture of traditionalism rising on the right? A return to a culture that is more traditional where the Wife is a homemaker. Yet to them, this is an oppressive culture that is bad, or the leftist-atheists are often seen criticizing Christianity. A culture with which they disagree, some atheists believe that those who must believe in a God suffer some form of Mental handicap. This is of course another example of asserting that one style of living (a.k.a. a culture) is better than another.

There is the ridiculous notion of the 1619 project preaching false history, that America was rooted in racism. There is the false notion that the colonists in America would wantonly murder the Native Americans. A false notion that we were oppressive with enforcing our cultures and traditions onto the natives. I do not deny that there was some abuse, however, the degree can be debated. There can also be a debate on the exchange of abuses, the Natives by no means, were innocent of bloodshed.

The delusion of the modern culture is one of wanton ignorance, a refusal to assess and reflect. They have a false belief that America is not what she says she is, but rather that it is a dystopic land rooted in evil and false beliefs. I call it a delusion because not only is this false, but the founders were very clear about what the revolution was about and what values would be instilled in this country. Moreover, it is a psychotic belief, meaning that it is uprooted from reality, they are entrenched in this belief to the forsaking and negation of the real. Thereby making their beliefs about this country, about America, a delusion

Econ Recon

JPMorgan’s chief market strategist Marko Kolanovic is forecasting a 20% nosedive in the S&P 500, a storm brewed by the tumultuous winds of skyrocketing interest rates.

As the White House continues to tout the alleged achievements of Bidenomics, a growing amount of data indicates that a gigantic economic crisis could be right around the corner.  But 1 foretelling example: US consumers who borrowed money to buy a new car are on the hook for record loan payments, with 20% owing at least$1K/mo, as surging interest rates combine with costly inventory to make vehicles less affordable.

During the height of the coronavirus, governments unnecessarily shutdown the economy and spent vast amounts of money to keep the economy, financial system and stock market afloat. Trillions of dollars in additional government spending occurred, all of which was financed with debt and money printing. The never-before-seen levels of money creation were fueled by policies set by the Federal Reserve, which encouraged Congress to spend more money and kept interest rates extremely low, despite warnings from economists about the threat of future inflation. biden and left-wing/democrats opted to keep government expenditures significantly higher than they had been prior to the pandemic. The decision to continue high levels of government spending, coupled with the Fed’s choice to keep interest rates low and the fallout from the crisis in Ukraine, caused inflation to soar to levels not experienced in over 40yrs. Prices for nearly all consumer items skyrocketed.

In an effort to fix its mistakes and curb out-of-control inflation, the Fed started dramatically increasing interest rates in 2022, a policy that has continued thus far in 2023. Meanwhile, the biden regime and Congress have unnecessarily kept government spending much higher than pre-covid levels.

The result of these policies is that most consumer goods and services, as well as rent and housing prices, remain much higher than they were before the China virus started. However, the money supply – the amount of cash, checking deposits and bank savings accounts – has substantially decreased. That means even though prices are still going up, the amount of money available is continuing to drop, putting an unprecedented strain on Americans.

M2 money supply growth rate has been negative for the past 3 quarters, meaning the amount of money available is shrinking rapidly. In the past 110 years, the only other time Americans have seen the money supply drop this sharply was in the early 1930s, during the height of the Great Depression.

There is a significant difference this time around, however. In the 1930s, when the money supply annual rate turned negative, prices dropped as well. Now, however, prices are still going up despite the collapse in the money supply. To the extent we're seeing it, this has never occurred before. Increasingly, more people are using savings and going into debt to cover basic expenses, like food, utilities and housing.

Survey data from the Federal Reserve shows the bottom 80% of income earners, representing the vast majority of Americans, now have less in real household savings than they did prior to the China virus. And savings for top income earners will likely fall below pre-2020 levels within the next 12 months. Americans’ credit card debt topped $1 trillion for the 1st time.

Higher prices, more government spending and debt, and lower levels of household savings – that’s what Bidenomics actually looks like. The U.S. economy is walking on thin ice. If prices and inflation don’t come down soon, something that can only occur if Congress and the White House reduce spending, then the U.S. is soon going to find itself in yet another massive economic crisis.

Our current national debt, standing at a colossal $33 TRILLION(1). That's the equivalent to the economies of China, Japan, Germany, India, and the United Kingdom, combined. In 2023, the government shelled out a staggering $663 billion to service this debt. The Congressional Budget Office predicts that by 2051, surpass even Social Security as the largest share of the federal budget.  This is an existential threat of greater immediacy and severity than any other we face. It hinders our capacity to tackle all other concerns.  Our present investment in energy alternatives not only worsens our debt dilemma but also gives rise to fresh challenges. It escalates short-term energy costs and, by transitioning away from conventional sources, jeopardizes the resilience of our energy grid in the long run. At that point, we might find ourselves financially incapable of addressing this issue.

We are teetering on the edge of financial collapse, a vital point poorly represented in our shallow political debates. The common refrain, "we are passing on a bill to our children and grandchildren," is overly simplistic and fails to highlight the significant danger of this situation. Higher interest rates, like we see today, make it harder to pay for the essentials, such as critical infrastructure, national defense, and entitlement programs. This forces the government to borrow more and more. It's a vicious cycle. Then one day the music stops. How will the government meet its obligations then? By reaching deeper into your pockets, which will already be empty.

The left-wing slant of our political environment is not conducive to ward off financial ruin, since the refuse to do what’s necessary.

1st, we need to implement responsible fiscal policies to control the growth of national debt. This means significantly reducing budget deficits, boosting federal revenue, cutting waste, and prioritizing spending on essential programs. In other words: stop unnecessary expenditures. Fiscal discipline is required.

2nd, we need to restructure entitlement programs. While crucial for the well-being of many Americans, they contribute significantly to the problem. Finding ways to make these programs more cost-effective and sustainable, as well as adding work requirements where possible, is essential. Often referred to as the third rail of American politics, politicians are going to have to find the guts to deal with these programs.

3rd, we need to stimulate economic growth. One way to boost economic growth is to reduce government regulation. Congress should pass the REINS Act to ensure a fair review of any regulation with an economic impact of more than $100 million. This would end the reign of unelected bureaucrats who impose costly regulations on businesses and individuals.

4th, it is essential to educate and mobilize the public. When more people understand the real impact of our national debt, they can put more pressure on their elected representatives to do the right thing, and at minimum, stop making the problem worse.

History teaches us that change does not always come from the top. Forcing our leaders to take action, even if incremental, is a step in the right direction.

1.     Our future obligations increase that to over $100TRILLION.

Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton: ‘Secretive’ Texas Court Has Blocked Me from Prosecuting Voter Fraud. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, fresh off his victory against a historic impeachment effort, is warning that it is impossible for him to prosecute voter fraud in the state due to a court ruling.

In an interview with Blaze Media’s Glenn Beck, Paxton said that the state’s elections are being threatened by district attorneys who will refuse to bring charges against those who commit voter fraud in 2024.

“The Court of Appeals in the State of Texas, apparently now, you cannot prosecute voter fraud in Texas. Is that true?” Beck asked.

“Yes, that is correct,” Paxton replied. “They struck down a law from 1951, and by the way, I have four things that I’m supposed to do under the Constitution. The final thing is such things as are required by law. And in 1951, the legislature directed the Attorney General — it’s the only thing I have original jurisdiction on as it relates to criminal matters, was voter fraud and the Court of Criminal Appeals.”.

“All Republican, by the way,” he continued, “And by the way, nobody knows who they are. This is why I think they’ve been put there, and I’m convinced they’re not Republicans because they struck down this law, and it said, ‘I don’t have the authority to go to court as Attorney General, because I’m in the executive branch.’ That was their rationale for striking down, saying it’s ‘unconstitutional’ for the Attorney General to be in court. I’m like, is that the most insane decision ever?”

“But they did it and now it’s up to the local DAs to prosecute it,” he noted.

“Oh my gosh,” Beck exclaimed.

“The Travis County, the Dallas County, the Harris County, which is Houston, Bexar County stands up — they’re not going to prosecute voter fraud. Guess what? They just opened up voter fraud and the people of Texas need to know that. And there’s three of the nine members up coming up in March for a primary. We have to find people to run and we have to beat those people or we are going to lose the state. I tried to get this law passed again so that I could start doing it again and make them strike it down again. And guess who killed it? Dave Phelan. I called them. He never returned my calls, but I was told by his team that they didn’t have time to pass this law…”

“Oh my gosh,” Beck exclaimed again.

“That’s where we are with Dave Phelan,” he went on. “That’s where we’re with the Texas House, and that’s where we are with the Court of Criminal Appeals that no one knows. And by the way, that is our highest court. It’s like our Supreme Court. We’re only one of two states that has this for all criminal matters. So I have no appeal rights. So when they strike down this as unconstitutional and say, I can’t prosecute voter fraud, I have no ability to get around that. I’m stuck. And that’s what I’m trying to fix.”

“Two years… I can’t prosecute voter fraud,” Paxton added. “And in March I think we’re going to have three people to run against the members of the Court of Appeal. We’ve got to get those people elected. We lost 8-1, and if we can get three new members, we’ll at least be 5-4 and we’ll be sending the message. You cannot strike down…”

“This is a big deal,” Beck noted, before asking, “How did this happen?”

“Okay, so I think George Soros is, my opinion, he was trying to do three things,” Paxton replied. “One, get the DAs elected in these liberal counties. So he beat all Democratic DAs that were prosecuting crimes. He did in Travis County, an unseated Democrat there that was actually prosecuting crimes. He did the same thing in San Antonio. So he got control of that, knowing full well that this would affect voting. Second, he helped put nine members on the Supreme Court, actually eight. Kevin Yeary is awesome, the other eight, no one knows who they are and I think he, because Republicans don’t know who these people are, he was able to get these members of the court to strike down this law. And then the third strategy was get rid of me. And then there’s no hope. There’s nowhere to go. So that was the goal. They didn’t get rid of me. So there’s still hope and we’ve got to change the Court of Criminal Appeals and we’ve got to get the house next time to pass this law.”

The judges on the Texas Criminal Court of Appeals that are standing for partisan election in 2024 are: Sharon Keller, Barbara Hervey and Michelle Slaughter. All of them voted to restrict Paxton from prosecuting voter fraud in Texas.

Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick concurred with Paxton that the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals should reconsider the 2021 ruling that stripped the Attorney General of the authority to prosecute voter fraud cases.

Paxton warned after the ruling that it could “devastating for future elections in Texas.”

Question; Should an Amicus brief about this be sent to the US Supreme Court asking for a summary Judgement against the Texas appeals court ruling?

Background to Paxton's claim that a "secretive" Texas court blocked him from from prosecuting Voter Fraud;

Another Palestinian Reverie.

Another Palestinian Reverie

  • On August 29, 2023, Sheikh Issam Amira, a prominent member of the Palestinian Hizb al-Tahrir party, argued that the "liberation" of Palestine is nothing compared to the potentially great conquests that Islam has in store for the rest of the non-Muslim world — including the United States.

  • What crime did these non-Muslim cities, nations, and continents commit against Muslims to deserve being targeted for violent conquest?

  • "The Party of Satan is America, Europe, Russia, and all Western nations, and all infidel [non-Muslim] nations everywhere.... Everyone who opposes Allah and his prophet is to be stricken with disgrace and misery. Not just that, they are to be broken in the here, and sent to the fire in the hereafter." — Sheikh Issam Amira, YouTube, August 29, 2023.

  • Although [Hizb al-Tahrir] means the "party of liberation," and although it pretends its sole interest is "liberating" Palestinians from Israel, when its members get together there seems to be an additional plan, not just for Jews.

  • Palestinian cleric Nidhal Siam made clear that, from an Islamic perspective, for Christians as well, liberation and conquest are one and the same.

  • "Oh Muslims, the anniversary of the conquest [fath/فتح, literally, "opening"] of Constantinople brings tidings of things to come. It brings tidings that Rome will be conquered in the near future, Allah willing." — Nidhal Siam, Jerusalem Post, January 20, 2020.

  • [The Palestinians] seek sympathy from the international community, despite the fact that until 1964, there reportedly were no Palestinians.

  • It also might be helpful to recall that until the seventh century and the birth of Muhammad, there were no Muslims – anywhere – let alone Palestinians.

  • The word Islam means "submission."

  • "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled." — Qur'an, 9:29 Khattab translation.

  • Those conquered are given three choices: to convert to Islam; to remain tolerated, second-class citizens, called dhimmis, pay a "protection" tax [jizya], and live according to humiliating rules to remind them of their inferiority, -- such as being allowed to ride a donkey but not a camel or horse. The third choice is to die.

  • It is also helpful to remember that the Qur'an is not made up of "suggestions; Muslims consider it the word of God, similar to the Ten Commandments. One cannot say, "Oh, Allah didn't really mean that." Yes, Allah did...

  • In each of these military engagements, Muslims were the aggressors: they invaded non-Muslim territory and, apart from the Battle of Tours, which they lost, they butchered and enslaved the inhabitants, and appropriated their lands — for no other reason than that they were "infidels" — non-Muslims.

  • Many Palestinians, seemingly without seeing the irony, present themselves as a conquered and oppressed people whose land was stolen, while, in the same breath, they praise former conquests and wish for future ones -- replete with oppression and land-grabbing from other peoples only because they are not Muslim.

  • True, the Palestinians are oppressed, but by their own leaders, whom the international community keeps funding and supporting; not by Israelis, who of necessity respond to violence against them, but do not initiate it.

  • Perhaps the lesson, when all is said and done, is that Islamic notions of "justice" are based on a simple dichotomy: Whenever Muslims conquer, slaughter, subjugate or steal land, that is "just;" whenever they encounter the authority of "infidels," that is "unjust."

  • Hence the hatred for Israel, Rome, Europe, or wherever "infidels" still govern.

On August 29, 2023, Sheikh Issam Amira, a prominent member of the Palestinian Hizb al-Tahrir party, argued that the "liberation" of Palestine is nothing compared to the potentially great conquests that Islam has in store for the rest of the non-Muslim world — including the United States:

"What is the Palestinian cause compared to the conquest of Rome, for example? Or the conquest of Latin America in its entirety? Or the conquest of North America?"

Amira went on to say that he personally knows that Australians are "dying of fear" from the nearby Muslim nations of Malaysia and Indonesia, "because they know that one of these days the Muslim armies will come from Indonesia and bring Islam to Australia, like it or not."

What crime did these non-Muslim cities, nations, and continents commit against Muslims to deserve being targeted for violent conquest?

As Amira explained in the same sermon, Islam commands Muslims to hate, fight, humiliate and, ideally, conquer any and all non-Muslims — including family members — simply because they are non-Muslims. He cited the Qur'an:

"You will not find a people who believe in Allāh and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allāh and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred." (Qur'an 58:22)

Amira said this was the proof text that Muslims must never befriend or ally with non-Muslims, as they are Satan's minions. "The Party of Satan," he stressed, "is America, Europe, Russia and all Western nations, and all infidel [non-Muslim] nations everywhere." He also quoted:

"They were stricken with disgrace and misery, and they invited the displeasure of Allah for rejecting Allah's signs and unjustly killing the prophets." (Qur'an 2:61)

After saying that this verse was about the Jews, he went on to broaden it to apply to all non-Muslims:

"Everyone who opposes Allah and his prophet is to be stricken with disgrace and misery. Not just that, they are to be broken in the here, and sent to the fire in the hereafter. Why? — because they are the party of Satan!"

Amira is certainly not the only Palestinian to harbor such hostility for the non-Muslim world. One need look no further than to his political party, Hizb al-Tahrir. Although its name means the "party of liberation," and although it pretends its sole interest is "liberating" Palestinians from Israel, when its members get together there seems to be an additional plan, not just for Jews.

Hizb al-Tahrir, for instance, in 2020, held a large, outdoor event near al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem to commemorate the anniversary of the Islamic conquest of Constantinople (May 29, 1453). There, as he had done before, Palestinian cleric Nidhal Siam made clear that, from an Islamic perspective, for Christians as well, liberation and conquest are one and the same.

After all the takbirs (chants of "Allahu Akbar" ["Allah is greatest"]) had subsided, Siam preached:

"Oh Muslims, the anniversary of the conquest [fath/فتح, literally, "opening"] of Constantinople brings tidings of things to come. It brings tidings that Rome will be conquered in the near future, Allah willing."

What did Rome do that it deserves to be conquered? Absolutely nothing — except that, since the conquest of Constantinople, Islam has seen Rome as the symbolic head of the Christian world, and therefore in urgent need of conquest. Or, in the words of the Islamic State:

"We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah... [We will cast] fear into the hearts of the cross-worshipers."

Like Amira, Siam went on to pray for the day when "Islam will throw its neighbors to the ground, and that its reach will span across the east and the west of this Earth. This is Allah's promise, and Allah does not renege on his promises."

Those assembled and he then chanted, "By means of the Caliphate and the consolidation of power, Muhammad the Conqueror vanquished Constantinople!" and "Your conquest, oh Rome, is a matter of certainty!"

Ironically, these kinds of assertions come from Palestinians, who often present themselves as a people whose land is supposedly occupied unjustly. They seek sympathy from the international community, despite the fact that until 1964, there reportedly were no Palestinians -- except twice, neither of which would apply to the current dispute. The first time was in antiquity; the second, after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire from 1922 until 1948, during the British Mandate for Palestine before Israel declared its independence. During the British Mandate, everyone born there then, Muslims, Christian and Jews, had a passport stamped "Palestine."

The first time, in 135 CE, the Roman Emperor Hadrian had renamed Judea to "Syria Palaestina" to try, after a failed Jewish rebellion against the Roman occupation, to rid Judea of any trace of Jews. Also in antiquity, a group with a similar name, the Philistines, arrived in the area, not from Arabia or the east, but from the west and from Crete.

It also might be helpful to recall that until the seventh century and the birth of Muhammad, there were no Muslims – anywhere – let alone Palestinians.

The Islamic conquest of Constantinople had been just that — a brutal and savage conquest the sole legitimacy of which was the might of arms. As other Muslims had done for centuries earlier in North Africa and the Middle East, the Turks invaded and conquered "New Rome" not because the people there had delivered some injustice, but because Islam is committed to spreading the supremacy of Allah, sometimes not too subtly:

"But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful."(Qur'an 9:5, Khattab translation)

"And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out...." (Qur'an 2:192, Shakir translation)

"They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allāh. But if they turn away [i.e., refuse], then seize them and kill them [for their betrayal] wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper." (Qur'an 4:89 Saheeh International translation)

The word Islam means "submission."

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled." (Qur'an, 9:29 Khattab translation)

Those conquered are given three choices: to convert to Islam; to remain tolerated, second-class citizens, called dhimmis, pay a "protection" tax [jizya], and live according to humiliating rules to remind them of their inferiority, -- such as being allowed to ride a donkey but not a camel or horse. The third choice is to die.

It is also helpful to remember that the Qur'an is not made up of "suggestions; Muslims consider it the word of God, similar to the Ten Commandments. One cannot say, "Oh, Allah didn't really mean that." Yes, Allah did, and if you do not follow His word, you risk burning in hellfire forever:

"It is He Who has made the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a canopy, and sent down water from above wherewith He brought forth fruits for your sustenance. Do not, then, set up rivals23 to Allah when you know (the Truth).... But if you fail to do this – and you will most certainly fail – then have fear of the Fire whose fuel is men and stones and which has been prepared for those who deny the Truth." (Qur'an, 2:22 and 2:24)

The reproval is not just for Jews; it is for any non-Muslim.

Even outside the Hizb al-Tahrir party, leading Palestinians continue to praise and find inspiration in Offensive Jihad, not to repulse or defend against an enemy, but to conquer non-Muslim territories. Speaking on the first day of Ramadan, April 1, 2022, Mahmoud al-Habbash, the Supreme Sharia Judge of the Palestinian Authority, extolled the jihads waged by Muhammad:

"How was this month [of Ramadan] in the life of Prophet [Muhammad]? ... Did the Prophet spend Ramadan in calmness, serenity, laziness, and sleepiness? Far be it from him... The Prophet entered the great Battle of Badr [624] during Ramadan... Also in the month of Ramadan, in the 8th year of the Hijra [629-630], the Prophet and the Muslims conquered Mecca.... Ramadan is ... a month of Jihad, conquest, and victory."

Similarly, on April 16, 2021, Al Jazeera published an article by Adnan Abu Amar, "head of the Political Science Department at the University of the Ummah in Gaza," explaining how Palestinians find "inspiration" in various jihads throughout Islamic history, "prominent among them the raid of Badr, the conquest of Mecca, the conquest of al-Andalus [Spain], and the battle of the pavement of martyrs [the Battle of Tours]."

In each of these military engagements, Muslims were the aggressors (herehere and here): they invaded non-Muslim territory and, apart from the Battle of Tours, which they lost, they butchered and enslaved the inhabitants, and appropriated their lands — for no other reason than that they were "infidels" — non-Muslims.

The battle of Badr was occasioned by Muhammad's raids on non-Muslim caravans; the conquest of Mecca was simply that, the conquest of a non-Muslim city; the conquest of al-Andalus is a reference to the years 711-716, when Muslims invaded and slaughtered countless thousands of Christians in Spain and torched their churches; and the Battle of Tours is, of course, where the Muslim invasions into Western Europe were finally halted in 732.

Wouldn't it seem, then, that Palestinians should be sympathizing with the Christians of Spain or Constantinople -- rather than identifying with Sultan Muhammad II, who invaded and conquered the ancient Christian city, while subjecting its indigenous inhabitants to all sorts of unspeakable atrocities?

Many Palestinians, seemingly without seeing the irony, present themselves as a conquered and oppressed people whose land was stolen, while, in the same breath, they praise former conquests and wish for future ones -- replete with oppression and land-grabbing from other peoples only because they are not Muslim.

True, the Palestinians are oppressed, but by their own leaders, whom the international community keeps funding and supporting; not by Israelis, who of necessity respond to violence against them, but do not initiate it.

Perhaps the lesson, when all is said and done, is that Islamic notions of "justice" are based on a simple dichotomy: Whenever Muslims conquer, slaughter, subjugate or steal land, that is "just;" whenever they encounter the authority of "infidels," that is "unjust."

Hence the hatred for Israel, Rome, Europe, or wherever "infidels" still govern.

The New York times finally admits...

Source; Sent from a friend.... SNGLR

The ny times, of all things, had this recent quite revealing story about who’s getting murdered, and who isn’t, in a city, Chicago, with a prominent left-wing mayor and an activist left-wing prosecutor, stating: "35 people were killed in mass shootings in Buffalo, Uvalde and Tulsa over the past few weeks, focusing national attention on America’s unique gun problem. In that same time, around 1,800 people were killed and almost 500 wounded in nearly 1,600 other shootings in the U.S., including at a Los Angeles warehouse party over the weekend. Mass shootings account for less than 4% of gun homicides in a typical year..."

the left-wing media has covered — and covered and covered — the mass shootings in recent weeks as if they were the country’s bloodiest problem. THEY ARE NOT!  Even the left-wing NYT is telling us this in direct language"...in Chicago, where shootings are a daily occurrence in some areas...typical gun violence murder rate for Black people is higher than it was from the 1980s through the 1990s — a violent period that drove a nationwide push for mass incarceration...Black Chicagoans are nearly 40 times more likely to be shot to death than their white peers, according to an analysis by the University of Chicago Crime Lab."

LOL, "mass incareration" is what the left-wing describes, after a 3-decade long crime spree, in which the murder rate approximately doubled, law enforcement got serious, as any sane country would. And although incarceration certainly increased over the 20 years starting in the early Nineties — as it needed to — at no point has the US been the prison camp implied by the corrosive and intentionally deceitful phrase, “mass incarceration.” In fact, only 1 in every 200 people in this country, or one-half of one percent of the population, is in prison. 0.5% isn’t “mass” anything!

The reality the ny times depicted is a disgrace and a scandal. If Alabama or South Carolina or some other “Trump” jurisdiction had a murder rate of black people 40 times what it is for whites, do you think that might get, say, at least a smidgen of the anguished publicity the left-wing media gave the recent mass shootings, grotesque as they were? Do you think merrick garland might be able find his way to the microphone? Or joe biden?

Still, the gross imbalance in the left-wing's well-hyped outrage, revealing as it is, is not the main problem. The main problem is murder, and specifically the out-of-control murder of black people. Although the problem is particularly awful in Chicago, it exists to a lesser but still appalling extent in the country as a whole. Overall in the US, blacks are 12.5% of the population but 53% of the murder victims.

So if we thought — to pick a phrase out of the air, oh, say,— that black lives matter, what would we do?  We wouldn’t knock down statues or re-name streets or hold long-faced academic symposia lying about 1619. We would reduce the murder rate. We would do what we know works to accomplish this: (1) hire more police rather than defund them,
(2) do more aggressive policing rather than less,
(3) focus on the specific neighborhoods where crime is concentrated, and
(4) lengthen prison sentences for those convicted of violent crime before rather than after it escalates into murder.

Those are exactly the 4 steps to save black lives that the left-wing and their misnamed “criminal justice reform” movement have spent years furiously opposing, on the grounds that — ready now? — they’re racist. In fact, as the title of this entry implies, the Klan was never as effective as the left-wing has been, and continues to be, at putting black lives at risk. Chicago is the worst of it but, tragically, only the tip of the liberals/democrats’ bloody iceberg.

"Whiteness is terrorism. All self-identified white people no exceptions are invested in and collude with systemic White racism."-- Johnny E. Williams, racist prof @Trinity College

"The view that it is appropriate for the government to play racial favorites has proved to be toxic. It is based on the premise that all groups are equal in ways that shape economic, social, and political outcomes.. and that therefore all differences in group outcomes are artificial and indefensible. That premise is factually wrong...races have significant group differences...for example in cognitive ability, crime.... Allegations of systemic racism cannot be assessed without dealing with the reality of group differences.”-- Charles Murray

“Blacks' success in a post-civil-rights America was a question of initiative and responsibility…individual self-awareness is not so much the irremediable fact of one’s racial heritage as what one makes of it; of the insights into the human condition it provides or the maturity and amplification it offers one’s talent. By striving to come into conscious possession of as much of the world’s culture as one has the energy, intellect, and talent to command. America is neither a story of straightforward progress nor narrative or power and victimization. It is a drama that moves slowly and crookedly toward the fulfillment of the democratic faith.”--Ralph Ellison

It is crucial to distinguish between individual and systemic racism because they call for vastly different responses. Wilfred Riley, among others, have cited studies casting considerable doubt on the assumption that America is systemically racist. Systemic narratives and their so-called solutions and the sense of victimhood they foster, distract from the personal choices and actions that would improve individual lives. In particular, hard work, education, and refraining from irresponsible and anti-family practices.

The term segregation implies enforced legal separation of people rather than a voluntary choice. Enforced separation has been illegal in the US since 1968. It is prejudicial and a lie to act as if actual segregation still exists. It is prejudicial and a lie to insist that the abstraction of systemic racism is favored over the actions of individuals, and correlation and cause are the same.

How does segregation, a system that ended 70 years ago, let alone slavery, a system that ended 160 years ago, affect Black people today, especially as some important things, like the dramatic decrease in the proportion of black kids born into two parent families since 1950? It is simply wrong to assume that any-and-all black/white disparity is evidence of systemic racism!

Concerns about the grave negative consequences of current woke efforts, which flow from the dubious assumption that racism is systemic in America, should not be ignored, silenced or arrogantly and ignorantly demonized. Don’t tell us how you feel, who cares. What’s important is when a conclusion is reached, what is the evidence and what stages of reasoning led to that conclusion.

It has been cogently argued and extensively documented that the primary underlying factor in racial disparities regarding social outcomes is not white on black racism, nor the system of white supremacy. Instead, it is the increasing breakdown of the black family which is closely correlated with a high rate of crime among blacks, the primary victims of which are other blacks. The breakdown has been grievously exacerbated by the very welfare programs presumably designed to help disadvantage blacks. It’s a liberal lie of systemic racism continues.

To believe in systemic racism is to treat minorities like a badly maintained herd of domestic animals, rather than a community of responsible, behaving individuals. Systemic racism is flawed opinion dressed up as science. Its facts are fragmentary, uncertain, and in many cases ambiguous at best.

“The oppression of black people is over with… We blacks, today, are a free people.”—Shelby Steele

“The truth is that the only systemic racism that exist today is in the form of affirmative action measures favoring blacks, among other presumably disadvantage groups.”— Michelle Marder Kamhi

“What shall we do with the Negro? I have had but one answer from the beginning. Do nothing with us. You are doing with us has already played the mischief with us. Do nothing with us!... And if the Negro can’t stand on his own legs, let him fall also. All I ask is, give him a chance to stand on his own legs! Let him alone!”— Frederick Douglass

Climate Update

Sent from a friend.....Source; SNGLR

The media and its designated experts are accurately reporting the scientific linking of fossil fuel use and hurricanes.
Truth: This deceptive “reporting” is riddled with:
1. deliberate misrepresentations (e.g., hurricane frequency)
2. biases (e.g., only reporting negative links)

Lie: Media claims about increasing hurricane frequency are accurate.
Truth: left-wing media outlets have deliberately misrepresented the flat long-term hurricane trend. E.g., the ny times cherry-picking a starting point—the low point of 1980—to make a flat trend seem upward. Leading media outlets have also deliberately ignored statements by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change about how any increases in hurricane frequency in records are likely due to increasing reporting, not actual frequency.  The latest data on global hurricane frequency and intensity from a 2022 paper (Klotzbach et al) does NOT support the left-wing media's claims. Recent US data for landfalling hurricanes, both overall and major, show the ny times and other left-wing sources are lying

Lie: Hurricanes are expected to get more frequent as temperatures rise.
Truth: left-wing estimates say hurricanes will be less frequent and between 1-10% more intense. This is not at all catastrophic if we continue our fossil-fueled climate mastery

Lie: left-wing media-cited research on extreme weather is unbiased.
Truth: Extreme weather research is riddled with biases. In addition to ignoring fossil-fueled climate mastery, many researchers have overtly political motives and ignore positive impacts of fossil fuels on weather. Certain biased climate attribution “scientists” admit that they are motivated by political goals and shape their “science” accordingly. E.g., left-wing media favorite friederike otto wants climate research “on the offensive." The left-wing loves their violence, don't they! One of the few climate researchers who is openly looking at the full impact of fossil-fueled climate change, including potential avoided damage, is meteorologist and hurricane expert Dr. Ryan Maue. What are the chances we see his point about avoided hurricanes in the left-wing media

And It is absolutely shameful that the left-wing opponents of Governor DeSantis are trying to blame him for the damage of Hurricane Idalia given that 1) the pro-freedom, pro-energy policies he supports lessened the damage and 2) his focus now is where it should be: hastening recovery.

America is wrestling with the worst energy crisis in its history. According to the brookings institution, the average 2022 U.S. residential retail electricity price was 15.12 cents/kWh, an 11% increase from 2021. In the 1st 3 months of 2023, the average U.S. residential monthly electricity bill was 5% higher. Government decisions have impacted the natural gas and energy supply. While electric vehicles are a much-touted solution for replacing oil, gasoline or diesel fuel contains 40 times the energy as a state-of-the-art battery. Questionable efforts are being made by government leadership to address our energy future. Critical solutions have been avoided and hidden. Fossil-fuel plants are being made to close faster than green alternatives can replace them. Producers of oil and gas can't keep up. Fantasy thinking has taken hold of biden and left-wing/democrats . Progressives and the left-wing media followers are guilty of denial concerning the reality of how to solve a potential climate/energy crisis.

Energy and climate change are complicated. Credible scientists challenge whether there is a climate crisis. The 3 U.S. electric grids are old and at capacity, and many power plants are outdated.  New plants have not been brought online due to environmental extremists and demonization by left-wing/democrats.  Renewable energy is unreliable since it requires wind, sun, or flowing water.  It also creates energy storage and environmental issues. The biden regime and left-wing/democrat governors plan to eliminate the use of gas and replace all transportation vehicles, garden tools, stoves, dryers’ etc. using electrical energy.  This approach will place an overwhelming timeline and demand on existing energy resources. It will require a huge investment in new power plants, including the potential of nuclear.  This investment will create significant upward pressure on the cost of energy and create blackouts from poor planning.

According to Rasmussen 70% of likely voters say they believe the US government should encourage increase oil and gas production to reduce America's dependence on foreign sources of oil and gas. Yet the left wing has restricted the supply of oil and gas leases below the demand for them while releasing the Strategic Oil Reserves--which did virtually nothing to lower costs at a time when the world is facing increased threats of major conflict and those reserves may be desperately needed.

What would the popularity of biden and liberal/democrats be if they were honest along with the left-wing media?  They speak of green energy but avoid the hidden facts: the reality that it will require massive funding, and increased energy cost to build the required new power facilities -- one estimate is $2 trillion. The critical timeline to update grid facilities will force blackouts. Utilities will be required to ration energy. Facts demonstrate that renewable facilities have serious reliability, security and environmental flaws along with life cost issues. The benefits of reducing humanity’s reliance on fossil fuels are uncertain at best.

Those pushing an end to fossil fuel production are missing the point, since fossil fuels will still be needed into the next century. Eliminating unpopular energy sources or technologies, like nuclear or carbon capture, from the conversation is short-sighted. Practicality and ingenuity are the invaluable resources humanity needs to meet America’s future energy challenge, not uninformed liberal/democrat politicians, left-wing news writers who spread climate fear, and ignorant/gullible liberals acting on misplaced, ginned-up emotion rather than knowledge.

Time to Declare a 'People's War' on the CCP: All of China Is One Military Machine

by Gordon G. Chang
September 11, 2023 at 5:00 am

  • Washington should be trying to end the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is time to declare a "people's war" against the CCP. We are in an us-or-them fight.

  • The Party certainly thinks that way. In May 2019, People's Daily, the CCP's self-described "mouthpiece"... declared a "people's war" against the United States.

  • "A people's war is a total war, and its strategy and tactics require the overall mobilization of political, economic, cultural, diplomatic, military, and other power resources, the integrated use of multiple forms of struggle and combat methods." — PLA Daily, an official news website of the Communist Party's People's Liberation Army, April 1, 2023.

  • Although it denies doing so, China's regime is conducting "unrestricted warfare" against America.

  • Unrestricted warfare means total war. The regime's deliberate spread of COVID-19 and support for the Chinese fentanyl gangs, for example, should be viewed in that light.

  • Most Americans have chosen not to see the Chinese regime's hatred of America.

  • Why should Americans be concerned?

  • The Party, with strident anti-Americanism, is establishing a justification to strike America. As James Lilley, the great American ambassador to Beijing, said, the Chinese always telegraph their punches. They are now telegraphing punches.

  • [US National Security Adviser Jake] Sullivan and others are willing to impose, for instance, technology sanctions on China, but they are largely ineffective.

  • Xi Jinping has a policy of "military-civilian fusion," which means that anything a civilian organization possesses can be — and is — pipelined to the Chinese military. In the Communist Party's top-down system, every individual and entity in China must obey every Party order.

  • It's a warning to America....

  • The U.S. Commerce Department allowed transfers of American technology to SMIC on the condition there would be no transfers to Huawei.

  • Why would Commerce ever think SMIC would keep that promise? The only realistic solution is to treat all Chinese parties as one and to prevent tech transfers to all of them.

  • Xi's regime is mobilizing all of the country's civilians for war. The Chinese leader never misses an opportunity to talk about it. China's regime is clearly planning to wage "kinetic" war — the type Americans are used to seeing in the movies — on America.

  • Obviously, American parties, especially businesses, should not be enabling the Chinese regime to kill Americans. This means they should not be engaging in any transaction that can strengthen any part of China. We should think of all of China as military.

  • "Don't say we didn't warn you!" — Chinese Communist Party's People's Daily, May 31 2019.

12222713885?profile=RESIZE_710x China's regime is conducting "unrestricted warfare" against America. Unrestricted warfare means total war. The regime's deliberate spread of COVID-19 and support for the Chinese fentanyl gangs, for example, should be viewed in that light. Washington should be trying to end the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is time to declare a "people's war" against the CCP. We are in an us-or-them fight. Pictured: China's President Xi Jinping (standing in vehicle) inspects People's Liberation Army soldiers at a military base in Hong Kong on June 30, 2017. (Photo by Dale de la Rey/AFP via Getty Images)

"I want to be clear that we do not seek to decouple or to hold China's economy back," declared U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo during her August trip to Beijing.

Well, why not, Madam Secretary? The U.S. should be holding the Chinese economy back. In fact, we should be doing more than just that. Washington should be trying to end the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is time to declare a "people's war" against the CCP. We are in an us-or-them fight.

The Party certainly thinks that way. In May 2019, People's Daily, the CCP's self-described "mouthpiece" and therefore most authoritative publication in China, declared a "people's war" against the United States.

That phrase carries great meaning. As PLA Daily, an official news website of the Party's People's Liberation Army, stated in April, "A people's war is a total war, and its strategy and tactics require the overall mobilization of political, economic, cultural, diplomatic, military, and other power resources, the integrated use of multiple forms of struggle and combat methods."

What exactly are "multiple forms of struggle and combat methods"? Although it denies doing so, China's regime is conducting "unrestricted warfare" against America.

Unrestricted warfare means total war. The regime's deliberate spread of COVID-19 and support for the Chinese fentanyl gangs, for example, should be viewed in that light. We must remember: In China's tightly controlled public square, the extermination of Americans is a permitted topic, as the explosive comments of prominent academic Li Yi tell us.

Most Americans have chosen not to see the Chinese regime's hatred of America. Those who have noticed are probably perplexed by its overheated rhetoric.

Why should Americans be concerned?

The Party, with strident anti-Americanism, is establishing a justification to strike America. As James Lilley, the great American ambassador to Beijing, said, the Chinese always telegraph their punches. They are now telegraphing punches.

They are telegraphing punches when their country is facing severe economic and other problems. For ideological reasons — Xi Jinping is a Maoist at heart — China's leader is unwilling to adopt those measures that would stabilize the situation. Instead, he is pursuing strategies that are clearly making matters worse.

It can be no coincidence that, as the country's economy deteriorates and markets fall, China's external behavior has become even more belligerent. For instance, Beijing, by interfering with Philippine vessels resupplying an outpost at Second Thomas Shoal in the South China Sea, has been risking war.

As Xi's regime telegraphs punches, President Joe Biden appears oblivious. On September 10 while in Vietnam, he echoed Raimondo saying, "I don't want to contain China."

Going one step further, Biden wished his Chinese counterpart well. "I want to see China succeed economically," the president said.

Biden's comments are at best perplexing in light of both China's malicious actions against America and his awareness that the country, as he proclaimed in August at a Democratic Party fundraiser in Utah, is a "ticking time bomb." "That's not good, because when bad folks have problems, they do bad things," he noted.

Biden's administration, however, is not adopting adequate measures to defend the U.S. in the face of such an evident danger. For example, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on September 5 said the United States "should continue on a course of 'small yard, high fence' set of technology restrictions focused narrowly on national security concerns."

Sullivan and others are willing to impose, for instance, technology sanctions on China, but they are largely ineffective. The general approach of the Biden administration is to prohibit transfers of technology to military-related parties in China — that's the reference to "small yard" — but allow transfers to nominally civilian parties.

America cannot enforce Sullivan's "high fence," unfortunately.

Xi Jinping has a policy of "military-civilian fusion," which means that anything a civilian organization possesses can be — and is — pipelined to the Chinese military. In the Communist Party's top-down system, every individual and entity in China must obey every Party order.

It's a warning to America: The just-released Mate 60 Pro smartphone of Huawei Technologies contains chips from SMIC, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp., China's largest contract chip-maker. SMIC sold those chips to Huawei in violation of U.S. sanctions, including the Commerce Department's Foreign Direct Product Rule. U.S. sanctions applied because the chips in the new phone were made with U.S. technology. The U.S. Commerce Department allowed transfers of American technology to SMIC on the condition there would be no transfers to Huawei.

Why would Commerce ever think SMIC would keep that promise? The only realistic solution is to treat all Chinese parties as one and to prevent tech transfers to all of them.

Xi's regime is mobilizing all of the country's civilians for war. The Chinese leader never misses an opportunity to talk about it. China's regime is clearly planning to wage "kinetic" war — the type Americans are used to seeing in the movies — on America.

Obviously, American parties, especially businesses, should not be enabling the Chinese regime to kill Americans. This means they should not be engaging in any transaction that can strengthen any part of China. We should think of all of China as military.

Americans should take their enemy as it is, not the way they would like it to be. So Secretary Raimondo needs to say that, yes, the United States will take all measures to defend itself from China. And Biden must start telling the world that China is America's enemy.

People's Daily in May 2019 issued a commentary titled "United States, Don't Underestimate China's Ability to Strike Back." The Communist Party in that commentary stated this: "Don't say we didn't warn you!"

Yes, Americans have been warned. All of China is one military machine, so it is time to declare an American "people's war" on the Chinese Communist Party.

Means vs. Ends

Source; Sent from a friend online. Known as; SNGLR

The dismantling of the existing political and economic institutions was intended to pave the way toward reliance on supposedly more effective, progressive, and fair methods of organizing society. Unfortunately there is no, nor can there be any such thing on Earth.”---Jonathan Daley

Nearly every ideology based on "the ends justify the means" produce a dictatorship which has advocated advance of the common good. The problem occurs when the dictatorship inevitably fails to inscribe its conceptions and designs within the framework of cultural and intellectual traditional processes.

Utopians (modern or not), laying claim to knowledge of the inner workings of human society unknowable to most people, aspire to create an always poorly defined general will in order to harmonize a new social order which requires behaviors human beings are incapable of sustaining(1).  The result being, as Karl Popper pointed out, is that their gnosticism veers into conspiracy theory and all the dysfunctional psychologies that develop.

For example, Karl Marx, with no trust in individuals but having total trust in things he had no experience with, social forces which coalesce into institutional forces, claimed that Communism would lack middle class individuality, independence, freedom, private property, law, family, marriage, morality, philosophy, religion and patriotism.  Thomas Jefferson, by the way, thought the opposite. And look at what happened

In Marx’s footsteps and under V.I. Lenin’s leadership, Communists set about to impose on the largest, established, resource rich country in the world a dismantling of all the existing restraints on institutionalized and arbitrary power. In their place they established their own arbitrary, obtuse limits on individual and institutional freedom and autonomy, enforced with unlimited power a state-administered violence through a nation-wide gulag system, all the while proclaiming devotion to the universal common good with every step, and every life they took. Sending tens of millions of mostly their own citizens to a grave, for apparently their own good!

And since the Communist state is supposedly imbued with only good intent towards the common good, it could not be questioned, nor would anything but total loyalty, in deed and thought too, be allowed.

“Intentions need to be backed up by a careful and respectful study of the great works of political philosophy. The profound arrogance that attends those who willfully disregard the painstaking efforts and suffering of those who came before dooms their projects to failure or worse..to ignore such wisdom in pursuit of the common good forces an entire people into a Procrustean bed of one’s theory that will necessarily require dramatic coercion, and in any event will not succeed.”—Jonathan Daley

(1)  This is to be accomplished through a processes which creates a new kind of human psyche, which until this is accomplish (which would be horrific if one contemplates what this would mean in terms of results but, in reality will never occur), requires total state control of every aspect of human life.

The Enemy Amongst US!!

BEFORE CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER DIED OF CANCER, HE WROTE THIS IN 2017...

Ever wonder how protests and demonstrations get started almost immediately after some announcement by the Trump administration?  How anti-gun marches get set up so quickly after a school shooting?  Huge marches on Washington DC are organized so quickly?  Read this and you'll know why...

The Enemy Amongst US!!
By Charles Krauthammer

Oct 11, 2017 - An article from the New York Post:

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called “Organizing for Action” (OFA).

OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do.  This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing.  It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago.  If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run.  What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country?  We are about to find out in America !

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep.  He has moved many of his administration’s top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America , and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for “progressive” change...  Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president’s message from the shadows:  “Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished.  Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines.  Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond.”  OFA’s website says it obtained its “digital” assets from the ex-president’s re-election effort and that he inspired the movement.  In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.”  Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide.

The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide.  The ex-president and his ‘wife’ will oversee the operation from their home/office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works.  For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows.  All of this happens from the ex-president’s signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part.  You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against.  We are losing our country and we are so compliant.  We are becoming a “PERFECT TARGET” for our enemy!

Editor’s comments: Krauthammer is about the best and brightest journalist and political analyst we have, in my opinion.  His words of warning in the above message should be taken seriously and spread throughout the country so as many of our citizens as possible are made aware of what is happening right under our noses!

Welcome To Bidenomicsville

Semnt from a Friend

The left-wing washington post let it slip that all is not well in Bidenomicsville. The deficit, it reports, could end up hitting $2 trillion when the current fiscal year ends in three weeks, which it describes as an “unexpected deficit surge.”In other words, the deficit will nearly double this year, calling the lie on one of joe’s favorite boasts about how he cut the deficit more than any president in history.

But while this apparently comes as a shock to the post, as well as many left-wing news sites that get their news from the post, anyone paying attention to non-left wing media knew this was happening.

Back in February, biden’s reckless economic policies had added more than $5 trillion to projected deficits, even as he claimed he’d done more to cut the deficit than “any president in history. By June revenues had been plunging this year, despite all the boasts about a strong economy, and the non-left-wing media warned: “the projected deficit for the entire year is now close to $1.6 trillion, which is almost $300 billion higher than Treasury projected at the start of this fiscal year.”

In July, Bidenflation was pushing up the cost of federal entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare, and had resulted in a 37% increase in interest payments on the national debt in the 1st 9 months of this fiscal year. That was the result of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hikes, which were also a result of Bidenflation. By August, Treasury had upped its projected deficit for this fiscal year to $1.9 trillion.

The great piece of the consumer price puzzle is the energy required to produce and deliver goods and services. Both domestic and foreign policy has served to sharply increase costs. biden's move to restrict and bog down with useless regulations and delays oil and gas exploration capped the supply at existing production levels.  Add in the biden’s decision to instigate the war in Ukraine (by pushing NATO expansion into Ukraine) and then enacting harsh global energy sanctions, and you have a perfect storm of rising energy costs.  Even the decision to release strategic oil reserves to cut into rising prices saw the American taxpayer spurned as those reserves were sold to Europe.

The 30-year TIPS are set for high inflation expectations after the most massive, money printing since WW II. After taking interest rates to nearly zero, the U.S. Government, created out of thin air $9 Trillion of liquidity (money) and injected it into the economy. In case that wasn’t enough, they did another on the grossly misnamed and destructive left-wing's inflation reduction act.

The national debt is now larger than the American economy, something that's never happened outside of a few brief years during WWII. The short-term nature of most government borrowing means higher interest rates are adding fuel to this fiscal fire. By the end of the decade, interest costs on the national debt will exceed the size of the military budget and will only keep growing. And then there's the Social Security crisis looming in the early 2030s. Federal spending has ballooned from $4.8 trillion to more than $6.2 trillion, 29. 2% between 2018 and 2022, and that increase in spending is driving deficits higher.

But this is what liberals/democrats want more of and vote for! And when they get it, and it destroys, they blame others.

When I read that posting, I thought we must do it in accordance with the way the Constitution provides for the people to act, without interference from the Congress and other Government Bureaucracies. It does seem to reflect what I believe to be the general feelings of the majority of Americans. The way to accomplish this in a legal and bloodless manner, is for the people to order their State Legislatures to petition congress for an Article-V Amendment Proposal Convention. Doing that will allow the actual will of the people to be heard.

We could propose Amendments that Congress would never consider. Amendments like Term Limits, Ending lifetime salaries for Congress, Making congress responsible for all the laws it passes and not letting them make exceptions for themselves. Ending their separate retirement and requiring them to enroll in the same Social Security-Medicare-Medicaid package as the rest of the American public.

We can also make an Amendment to stop the gun grabbers from encroaching on our Second Amendment using semantics like they constantly do by clearly stating that government is strictly forbidden from Making any New, or Enforcing any Existing Law, Rule, or Regulation on Firearms Unless it is approved by 3/4 of the Legal American Citizen voters.

We could also make/repeal an amendment putting the Senators back under the State Legislatures as originally intended by the Framers of the Constitution and then thney would be responsible to their States and not to their Political Parties.

We clould eliminate the 16th Amendment and return to apportioned taxation, Gols and Silver Standard, eliminate the Federal Reserve and IRS.

In short we as a united people could propose or repeal any Amendment that allowed the Government to steal our legitimate political power and return it to the people.
