What’s wrong with this picture?

“Last week it was reported that the State Department and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were deeply involved in the scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, or Project Gunwalker. Today, however, new evidence has surfaced indicating that not only was Hillary deeply involved in the scandal but was one of the masterminds behind it.

According to investigative citizen journalist Mike Vanderboegh, sources close to the development of the Gunwalker scheme state that early on, Hillary and her trusted associated at State, Andrew J. Shapiro, devised at least part of the framework of what would later become Operation Fast and Furious. It was Shapiro who first described the details of the proposed scheme early in 2009 just after the Obama Administration took office.

Vanderboegh relates the following:

“My sources say that as Hillary’s trusted subordinate, it was Shapiro who first described to the Secretary of State the details of what has become the Gunwalker Scandal.

The precise extent to which Hillary Clinton’s knowledge of, and responsibility for, the Gunwalker Plot, lies within the memories of these two men, Shapiro and Steinberg, sources say.

The sources also express dismay that the Issa committee is apparently restricting itself to the Department of Justice and not venturing further afield. The House Foreign Affairs Committee, they say, needs to summon these two men and their subordinates—especially at the Mexico Desk at State—and question them under oath as to what Hillary Clinton knew about the origins of the Gunwalker Scandal and when she knew it.

There is one other thing those sources agree upon. The CIA, they say, knows “everything” about the “Mexican hat dance” that became the Gunwalker Scandal.”

The ‘Steinberg’ mentioned in the quote above is Hillary Clinton’s former Deputy Secretary of State, who was appointed directly by Barack Obama and was considered from the start to be an ‘Obama man’ whose objective was to carry out the wishes of the President in the State Department.

Hillary had said of Steinberg,

“Clinton said Steinberg had been a “fixture” at meetings with the National Security Council (NSC) and frequently represented the US State Department at the White House.”

That statement is key. Hillary herself stayed out of all meetings dealing with strategy concerning the euphemism the Administration used to designate Gunwalker, ‘strategy meetings on Mexico and the problem of drug and gun trafficking.’ Hillary’s absence would give the impression that she had no connection to the scheme while making sure that her views were represented by Steinberg and Shapiro, both of whom were fully complicit with the details that developed concerning how to pad statistics on U.S. guns in Mexico.

According to sources, Hillary was obsessed with gun statistics that would prove that ‘90% of the firearms used by Mexican criminals come from the United States.’ As previouly reported, that meme, repeated incessantly by Democratic Senators, Barack Obama, certan members of the ATF, Janet Napolitano, and Hillary Clinton was patently and blatantly false. The fact that they all knew it was false is borne out by the lengths to which each of the above named co-conspirators went to attempt to ‘prove’ that the 90% figure was true.

Again, Vanderboegh relates the following:

“My sources say that this battle of the “statistics” was taken very seriously by all players—the White House, State and Justice. Yet, WHY was this game of statistics so important to the players? If some weapons from the American civilian market were making it to Mexico into the hand of drug gang killers that was bad enough. What was the importance of insisting that it was 90 percent, 80 percent, or finally 70 percent? Would such statistics make any difference to the law enforcement tactics necessary to curtail them? No.

This statistics mania is similar to the focus on “body counts” in Vietnam. Yet if Vietnam body counts were supposed to be a measure of how we were winning that war, the focus on the 90 percent meme was certainly not designed to be a measure of how we were winning the war against arming the cartels, but rather by what overwhelming standard we were LOSING. Why?

Recall what the whistleblower ATF agents told us right after this scandal broke in the wake of the death of Brian Terry: “ATF source confirms ‘walking’ guns to Mexico to ‘pad’ statistics.”

Thus, from the beginning the scheme was to pad statistics on U.S. guns in Mexico in order to be in a strengthened position to call for gun bans and strict gun control at a time when it was politically unpopular. Further, the scheme would involve a made-up statistic, out of thin air--90%--which then had to be proved by using civilian gun retailers along the southern border as unsuspecting pawns to walk U.S. guns into Mexico by ATF agents, straw purchasers, and others with connections to Mexican drug cartels.

And the evidence points to the fact that Hillary Clinton was one of the original Administration officials who was ‘in the loop’ on the scheme from the very beginning.”

“Nixon was not the only one with an ‘enemies list.’ It is well-documented that Bill Clinton had such a list. So did George W. Bush. And, by extension, due to her marriage to the former President, Hillary Clinton has such a list. And apparently the reporters who have exposed her involvement in the Gunwalker scandal are on it. One reporter in particular was informed today by sources inside the State Department that he is now on that list.

So far no one in the mainstream media has reported the bombshell information revealed over the past 2 days by Mike Vanderboegh that indicates Hillary was in the loop on the illegal scheme from Day One. Thus, the mainstream media has thus far avoided Hillary’s ire.

This is no surprise. It took the media several months to begin to report the story of ‘Operation Fast and Furious,’ also known Project Gunwalker, in spite of the fact that this writer, Kurt Hofmann, David Codrea, and Mike Vanderboegh had been writing stories about it since December of 2010--Vanderboegh and Codrea being the first.

The mainstream media is slow to report anything negative about this administration. It is unknown how long it will take them to get on the trail that leads to Hillary. And doing so comes with a heavy price to pay. Ask Sharyl Attkisson at CBS News, who revealed to several high-profile reporters last week that she had been verbally abused by the White House staff, including yelling and choice expletives, for her tenacious and thorough reporting of the Gunwalker scandal.

Nonetheless, the story of Hillary Clinton’s deep involvement in Gunwalker is out, and the same sources that led to the discovery of the DOJ-ATF illegal scheme to deliberately place American guns into the hands of Mexican criminals have now directly implicated Hillary in the scandal, as reported yesterday here and here.

At every single juncture as this story has unfolded, the sources have been proved to be reliable and accurate.

Thus, Hillary Clinton’s ire.  A source told Mike Vanderboegh that she is livid over the relevations concerning her involvement, so much so that she personally read Vanderboegh’s 2 articles on the State Department and the Secretary of State in the Gunwalker scheme.

And she is not happy, to say the least.

Vanderboegh relates his conversation with an insider who has direct knowledge of the reaction of the State Department and Hillary Clinton to their being implicated in the scandal, part of which is provided here:

“A source familiar with the inner workings of the command deck at Foggy Bottom reports that my “In at the beginning” series (here andhere) has excited some interest in the mid-level permanent bureaucracy there and that links have been forwarded to the Secretary of State’s office.

“So?” I said. “And?”

“They don’t like where you’re going with this.”

“Outstanding,” I replied.

“SECSTATE doesn’t like it.”

“REALLY? She reads my stuff?”

“She read your latest.”

“All the shit going on all around the world and she’s worried about me? I don’t believe it.”

“Believe it.”

“And she doesn’t like it?”

“She doesn’t like where you’re going, is what I hear. She doesn’t like the attention about Fast & Furious.”

“Damn. . . I HAVE arrived.”

“You’ll arrive on the ‘kill list’ if she gets pissed enough.”

I laughed.

“You’re fishin’ in very deep waters in a very small boat, son.”

“Just call me Jonah,” I told him.

He didn’t laugh.”

Further, Vanderboegh states that the only woman in the entire world who scares him more than his ex-wife is Hillary Clinton—and with good reason. There is a rich history of allegations indicating untold woes that befall anyone who crosses her or her husband.”

Dr. Brad Lyles, bless his heart, finds it inexplicable that America’s exceptionalism is being trivialized. Why, he asks, are elements in America working to marginalize our freedoms, our culture, and our inheritance?  Neither Dr. Lyles nor the majority of the American people have the answer.

You will not get this answer anywhere else. It is my personal story. I lay in bed this morning thinking about the world’s present predicament.  As usual, I picked up a pen and yellow pad and started writing.  After several tries, I ended with the following paragraphs.

Mathematicians make logic with numbers, although limited to physical reality. Astrologers and numerologists make logic with numbers as they apply to our lives. We understand, to a large extent, how subatomic particles behave. From this understanding, through mathematical formulas, we understand quantity, the making of physical reality.  Through geometry, the ancients found the characteristics or the qualities of human beings.

We have the choice of taking the path of least resistance. It was like trying to climb a greased pole.  When I departed my old life, a sign of what was to come was in the fact that I departed on Good Friday and arrived in Miami on Easter Sunday for the first day of my new life.  Since I’m not religious, at the time I didn’t give it much thought.

In 1975, I decided to take legal action against the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, and to buy a sailboat and go to sea, two unpopular ideas.  I was strictly on my own when I studied the Constitution and the legal procedure for bringing legal action against the Commissioner of Internal Revenue. I felt picked. I felt that voices from the past were speaking to me.  This occurred when my second wife was divorcing me and my business enterprise was on the rocks. I was at a jumping off place. I could either fall into the abyss or fly with eagles.

I’m reading Shirley MacLaine’s I’m Over That. Shirley believes that extraterrestrial entities are observing us, and that they are hoping for what they call galactic synchronization. This connects with my thoughts. Shirley says, “The ‘good’ alien would challenge us to be better ourselves; and we are not up to that challenge right now. We are obsessed with evil, fear, protection, and the entitlement of being looked after. Abdicating self-responsibility is our middle name. We want government, the church, and our ‘system’ to take care of us.”  “We don’t have 50 states,” say Shirley. “We have 51—the state of denial.” 

Shirley talks about a magnetic shift. It could occur, now that we are going to reach a point on December 21, 2012 when our solar system is in exact alignment with the center of the universe. It happens every 26,000 years, so we know nothing. We do know that magnetic shifts have occurred in the past. There are areas of low and high magnetism.  In low areas people are freer thinking.     

In my old life, if anything could go wrong it did. In my new life, when everything could well have gone wrong, everything went right. I rose from the ashes of my old life to a new and better life—not Christian, but legendary (the legend of the phoenix). I departed, found my path of destiny, and was led to fulfillment of my responsibilities in this life.  

We come into our present existence with our archetypal consciousness, and each with a special purpose. The object is to become able to naturally cope with whatever life brings us. The orthodoxy is determined that this will never happen, for the sake of control. Various orthodoxies hold that their god is the only god. Extremes on that point of view are responsible for such as taking down the World Trade Center and killing thousands of people, or to a lesser extent, to government entitle everyone through redistribution of the wealth, thereby to rob us of our means of living independent lives.

But getting back to the story of my life, with my life much improved, I made a second departure in 1981, this time impetuously.  I learned the hard way, the only way any of us really learn. On April Fool’s Day 1999, appropriately, Karen and I returned to square one, Portland, Oregon. We purchased an RV and hit the road. I was back on my path of destiny. 

In November 2007, going on nine years of living in an RV, Karen said to me, “Joe, I hate to think about living in this RV the rest of my life.” At the very moment that Karen made the remark, the Veteran’s Administration was making its decision. I had applied for disability pay. I’m a World War II veteran. I left service to my country with my ears permanently ringing. A doctor told me that it was from my combat experience. He said that as I aged my hearing would slowly get worse and worse. I applied for a job and was turned down because of being hard of hearing. In July 2005, I applied for veteran’s disability. A week after Karen’s remark, I received notice that I was approved for 100 percent disability. We could buy a home.

Going back to the 1970s, I was a successful entrepreneur. First Nixon’s price controls, then government created inflation put me out of business. My second wife decided to divorce me when her future looked uncertain. Had government minded its business and let me mind mine, this would not have happened. It was all done in the interest in helping those who needed government help. Due to this quaint idea, it was necessary for me to be helped. It’s robbing Peter to pay Paul. The only people helped are politicians.

Shirley said there are areas of low and high magnetism.  In low areas people are freer thinking.   Karen and I bought our dream home in the tall timber near Mt. Hood, Oregon, in an area of low magnetism.   Ever since 1975, when I felt that voices of the past were speaking to me, my spiritual guides have been leading me.

For a “Path of Destiny” Numerology and The Divine Triangle gives me the number 7. “Your depth of character and seriousness destine you to be a teacher of ethics. You psychically separate the true from the false and can discover and reveal some of the mysteries of life to a waiting world. . .Your example and public image could benefit a whole community and eventually the world.”

In numerology, 9 is selflessness and compassion. It desires to apply its energy to universal service.  This is the artist, the thinker who has developed skills through the preceding cycles and is now ready to share his or her knowledge with the rest of the world.  I’m now in my 9 cycle.

It is an amazing thing, those voices of the past I heard when I studied the Constitution. Dr. Lyles wrote that the U.S. Constitution enumerated the rights of U.S. citizens and further declared all powers not expressly granted to the government remained with the people. Psychologist Carl Jung called it the collective unconsciousness. He coined the word synchronicity.  Shirley believes that extraterrestrial entities are observing us, and that they are hoping for what they call galactic synchronization. I learned my God-given rights and synced with “Higher Law,” the background of American constitutional law.

NEW YORK CITY -- "I figured if I'm going to be homeless, I might as well be homeless for a good reason," said Matt Kitchens. The Alabama native is one of the hundreds of restless youth Occupying Wall Street, determined that their voices be heard. After finishing trade school, Kitchens, 20, worked as a welder in Mobile's shipyards. He hit the road after that work ran out, and ended up working in a coffee shop in upstate New York. That job ended six months ago. Now he's on Wall Street.

Matt from Philadelphia had a similar story. He worked at a succession of short-lived jobs installing floors, then at a produce market.

Two students from Ithaca, NY, Marie Spoelstra and Sarah Richards are camped out "to protest corporate greed." says Spoelstra, 20, a sociology major. Her buddy Richards, who works serving up toasted sandwiches at a Subway outlet adds, "We work hard and have nothing to show for it. We're sick of having everything taken from us."

Esmeralda, Youth Council President of the Mid Manhattan NAACP, and two friends are camping out together. Esmeralda, 17, says she's had "lots of internships, but never a real job." Her high school is just across the street from Zuccotti Park and she's been joining her friends Chilligan, 19, and Nicole, 20 at the park every day after class.

Nicole Angelo is a 23-year-old college graduate. She hasn't been able to find a job since the office that she worked at all the way through college closed in 2009. "It's happening to everybody," says Angelo. "The system needs a change. Where's our voice in government?" She takes a train to her family's home in Westchester County every few days to take a shower and check email, but is committed to the new community she's a part of. "I get even better taken care of here than at home," she says with a nod toward the "kitchen" area. "There's always a hot meal."

A whole section of the park is devoted to collecting, preparing and distributing food. As this reporter stood by, a man pushing a toddler in a stroller dropped off a bag of eight steaming hot egg and cheese sandwiches he had just purchased at a nearby deli. Other passersby stuffed $10 and $20 bills in a collection jar.

Dave Anthony takes charge of the bag, carefully arranging the sandwiches on a table for distribution. Anthony, who works afternoons as a chef, says, "I make sure the food is fresh." There are cartons of coffee, and a veritable buffet of fresh fruit, bagels, and occasional pizzas. Afternoons Anthony goes to work at his restaurant job. Otherwise, he says, "I'm here day and night." Anthony is still paying the student loans he took out to go to chef school. "I pay on it every month but the number never goes down! I feel that Wall Street should help us," he continues. "A lot of people here are in debt, especially tuition loans. Some are homeless. We want a future for ourselves and our children." Anthony said he was drawn to come down to Wall Street "when I saw people protesting for our rights. I've been waiting a long time for something to happen."

Eric Tucker was resting on an air mattress. He looked amazingly well pressed for a man who's been sleeping out in the rain for six days. Tucker, 22, came with a group from Jersey he says and he especially appreciates the communal spirit of the encampment. He has done work installing solar panels, and a stint at Target, but hasn't had a job in a couple of years. Like the others he didn't seem the least daunted by the hardships of living outside for days and days when it seems to rain at least once every 24 hours. Sometimes when the downpour starts the protestors gather under a construction canopy across the street. Others hang out at a McDonalds that has been friendly. Still others just curl up in their multi colored tarps. Tucker was getting ready to set off for the apartment of a stranger in the neighborhood. He had put an ad on Craigslist appealing to someone in the neighborhood to let him use their shower. Given the positive response from passersby, Tucker wasn't a bit surprised to get a response from a friendly New Yorker.

“Cancel elections! “Take out” the “sons of bitches!” Send capitalists to “re-education [read concentration] camps!” Chop their heads off! Kill the bankers! Kill the rich! Kill your parents! Kill! Kill! Kill!

“Occupy Wall Street” rioting is not a self-starter with bored white kids on a lark to rush the calendar for Spring Break (though some such “useful idiots” are in the mix).

The whole operation — spreading from Wall Street to other cities — is organized by the Working Family Party, a front for the SEIU/ACORN, allied with Democratic Socialists of America. The attack on America has the backing of groups bankrolled by left-wing moneybags George Soros. All of these “usual suspects” are in-tight with the Obama Administration and the Democratic National Committee. They have been organizing this from Day One. It is anything but “spontaneous.” Don’t kid yourself.

Street brawlers imbued with class hatred propaganda are egged on by a President of the United States whose parents were followers of Marx, Engels, and Lenin.

The attack has been aimed squarely at the heart of the United States for decades. The Communist conspiracy — during and after the Soviet days — has never wavered from its goal of a Soviet-style America under the domination of a worldwide order.

For generations, avenues of public influence have nurtured a nest of potential insurrection, fueled in large part by the writings of the likes of a Communist liar named Howard Zinn (see this column “Howard Zinn, Communist Liar,” 8/9/10 & “Is it Safe to Send Your Child to School?,” 9/6/10). He and others like him continue to poison the minds of our young. Occupy Wall Street no doubt would bring an evil smile to the late Zinn and his ilk.

Hate America manifesto:

With the Hate America Left infecting institutions to which kids are exposed as they grow up, why should we be surprised that a Communist-brainwashed movement would surface damning the “unfairness” of a society that (gasp!) does not hand them their every need and wish?

Occupy Wall Street has forged what amounts to a 21^st century Communist Manifesto that includes the following as sacrosanct “rights”:

• Minimum wage $20; guaranteed wage income regardless of employment.

• Universal health care with private insurers outlawed.

• Free college education. (Given what passes for “education” these days, the price may be right for parents who send their kids to college as good citizens, only to see them return as hateful revolutionaries.)


End the fossil fuel economy. (Oh, goody! That will make everyone poor, but then that is basic to any such enforced egalitarianism, so why should this one be any different? So we’ll all be poor? Way to go! That’ll teach Jimmy Hoffa’s “sons of bitches!” — an epithet hurled at the Tea Party as Hoffa introduced Obama at a gathering.)


• Ban other existing workable energy sources by decommissioning America’s nuclear power plants and by re-establishing “the natural flow of river systems” (hydro-electric).

• Demand the right to freeze in the dark. (Not spelled out, I just threw that one in, reasoning it is a natural consequence of the above energy demands. The absence of a ban on coal mining in this 21^st century Communist Manifesto was obviously pure oversight.)

• Spend a trillion dollars on a freeze-in-the-dark energy policy. (Ah yes! Solyndra-like scandals; the more such criminality, the better to stoke the Communist line that “Duh! The system does not work.”)

• One trillion dollars spent on infrastructure — roads, rail, bridges, sewer, water, electrical grid. (Those who think a case can be made for some federal support for infrastructure are disrespected by this clown price tag pulled out of thin air for the express purpose of bankrupting “the dirty capitalists.”)

• Racial and gender “equal rights” amendment. (Another fraudulent use of the term that has less to do with race or gender — except as convenient covers — and more to do with perpetrating the notion that Ben Franklin, James Madison, and Thomas Jefferson intended the Constitution to promote abortion and same-sex marriage.)

• Open borders migration, everyone can travel anywhere to work and live. (A Terrorists’ Rights Bill? Who will sponsor that one? Dick Durbin?)

• Bring American elections up to international standards. (What is “international?” Iran? Cuba? Or perhaps the UN, which seats some of the world’s worst tyrants on its “Human Rights” Commission.)

• Immediate across-the-board debt forgiveness. (What? Oh, I forgot! Communism supposedly means everything is “free,” right?)

• Outlaw all credit reporting agencies. (Of course, the socialist paradise says if you want it, steal it.)


Allow “workers” to sign a ballot at any time whether to join a union — putting the SEIU and ACORN’s ballot-stuffing thugs in charge of seeing to it that such elections are “secure” and “fair.” (Be certain the term “worker” in this context excludes anyone who succeeds with a good salary or decent retirement. Actress Roseanne Barr would send bankers to “re-education” camps, and if they insist on keeping what she deems excessive amounts, she would then have them beheaded. Be certain that Hollywood mansions and limos would be safe.)

Obama: comfortable with Marxist buddies:

Of course, Obama would support the uprising. It is guided by his own shock troops.

The protesters, he intones, “are giving voice to a more broad based frustration” (translation: keep it up). This Marxist-nurtured “dear leader” talks about the day when his acolytes will “run Republicans out of town” (for their refusal to pass his phony “jobs” bill, a retread of past failures).

Off-the-charts street revolutionaries are echoing Mr. Obama’s wailing at “millionaires and billionaires.” That’s what the self-righteous Marxists (admitted or disguised in respectability) really mean when they lecture the rest of us on “civility” (as practiced by his terrorist friends Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, whose sixties movement included such lovely “civil” sloganeering as “Kill the rich! Kill your parents!).

The SEIU/ACORN thugs and ballot-stuffers use their sharp elbows while agitating for “rights” resembling the “demands” of every violent revolution in history that has led to jackboot governance — including 20^th century Nazis and Communists or, for that matter, the Jacobins of the 18^th century French Revolution.

On yet another front:

Van Jones, meanwhile, concurrent with the Occupy Wall Street rampage this past week, conducted what he called a“Take Back the American Dream” conference.

Under Jones’s interpretation, that very title represents a prostitution of the English language. But for self-described Communists such as Jones, Orwellian language is routine. Jones, recall, was ousted from his “Green Jobs” czar position at the White House, after he had been outed in 2009 by Trevor Loudon, Cliff Kincaid, and Glenn Beck. At that point, Jones — also a 9/11 “truther” — had to leave — not because the administration had any problems with his beliefs — but because he had become a PR liability.

Jones’s latest venture is another ploy to distract you and me from the Obama administration’s march toward the downfall of the United States.

“October is going to be the turning point when it comes to progressives [read Communists] to fight back,” Jones crowed on left-wing TV. He envisions “an American fall, an American autumn. Just like we saw an Arab spring.” (Great! Every indication thus far points go the “Arab spring” as a springboard for empowerment of the America-hating Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.)

What it's all about:

Class hatred is the toxic thread that runs though Occupy Wall Street, the Obama administration’s obsession with “the top one percent,” and the collaboration of the hard left and radical Islam.

Many of us have seen people rise up from the depths of poverty to make a success of themselves and contribute to the betterment of society.

That experience leads to the conclusion that class hatred in our body politic is just plain evil.

Some of those taken in by it may be “naïve,” but that goes back to the Churchillian observation that a person at age 20 who is not a liberal may not “have a heart,” but that a person who is not a conservative at age 40 surely does not have a brain.

The motive is very secondary. Class hatred is pure evil. Occupy Wall Street, SEIU/ACORN, Van Jones & “the American fall” — they want America gone as we know it. North Carolina’s Democrat Governor Bev Purdue has proposed that we cancel congressional elections. Ominous and chilling. This is a war on the real American Dream. We are honor-bound to resist.”

II. SEIU Storms Private Residence, Terrorizes Teenage Son of Bank of America Exec!

“By now, you’ve probably seen the mob-scene that developed on the front lawn of the private residence of Greg Baer, deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America.  This was planned for some time by the SEIU as part of a larger national event, their Showdown on K Street, which was shared with National People’s Action and thousands of other activists from MoveOn.org and other left-wing groups.

Prior to the main event on K Street in Washington DC, SEIU and company made a little pit stop.  According to Fortune magazine Washington editor Nina Easton, 14 busloads of riled up protesters unloaded on Baer’s private property and stormed up to his doorstep, while his teenage son was home alone.  Easton is a neighbor of Baer’s and had called to check on her neighbor’s son when she heard and saw all the commotion outside. Easton writes,

“Waving signs denouncing bank “greed,” hordes of invaders poured out of 14 school buses, up Baer’s steps, and onto his front porch. As bullhorns rattled with stories of debtor calls and foreclosed homes, Baer’s teenage son Jack — alone in the house — locked himself in the bathroom. “When are they going to leave?” Jack pleaded when I called to check on him.

Baer, on his way home from a Little League game, parked his car around the corner, called the police, and made a quick calculation to leave his younger son behind while he tried to rescue his increasingly distressed teen. He made his way through a din of barked demands and insults from the activists who proudly “outed” him, and slipped through his front door.

“Excuse me,” Baer told his accusers, “I need to get into the house. I have a child who is alone in there and frightened.”

Imagine what you would have done if your child were inside that house and that mob was on your front lawn as you tried to reach him.

Amazingly, the SEIU has actually taken aim at Easton for reporting on this incident.  Their defense? Easton’s husband is a Republican strategist and has a lobbyist as a client – oh, the horror!  (Especially considering that the SEIU itself is also a lobbyist).  In their post “Nina Easton & the Bank Lobbyists: Too Close for Comfort,” SEIU’s crack Googlersresearchers break the case wide open:

“The really interesting question here is: why is Ms. Easton so angry? And why has she decided to use her position as a member of the media to air her own personal rant at the people who showed up to share their foreclosure stories?

Nina Easton’s husband’s firm has Business Roundtable as a client, a special interest group that counts giant banks like Bank of America as members.

One Google search clears it up pretty quickly. Her husband is Russell Schriefer, Republican strategist and consultant to several big corporate interest groups. In fact, her husband’s client list includes the Business Roundtable, a special interest group that counts Bank of America and other Wall Street banks among its members.

Ms. Easton’s husband used to be a corporate lobbyist himself, before he started his own consulting firm for Republican politicians and corporate interest groups like the Business Roundtable and the Chamber of Commerce. Now, according to his website, he helps garner positive media for “a wide range of corporate clients including Fortune 500 companies and national associations.”

Wow.  Amazing.  That kind of muckraking puts my time working at LexisNexis to shame.  Perhaps I should take SEIU’s employment recruiters up on one of their recent job offers sitting in my email inbox. (really, they are hiring, and they didemail…can you imagine that job interview?)

But what’s even more interesting, to use SEIU’s phrase, is the labor union’s odd relationship with its own business and advocacy partners.  They specifically mention above their disdain for Business Roundtable, for their part as what they term as a Republican corporate interest group.  But, just like Bank of America – which is a lender to SEIU, mortgagepartner to ACORN, and is also the leading lending partner to SEIU advocacy partner, Center for Responsible Lending – one of SEIU’s own partners is also Business Roundtable.

“Today, three of the nation’s leading consumer, business and labor organizations announced that they will work together to urge action from political leaders in a partnership called Divided We Fail.  AARP, Business Roundtable and SEIU will use the influence of their over 50 million combined memberships to amplify the message that attaining health and long-term financial security is vital for all Americans and these issues must be included in the national political debate.

Divided We Fail is a national effort designed to engage the American people, elected officials and the business community to find broad-based, bi-partisan solutions to the most compelling domestic issues facing the nation – health care and the long-term financial security of Americans.”

Ouch, talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

The current circumstances are also rather interesting because recently, Tea Party and 912 Project groups have been protesting Bank of America, too.  For SUPPORTING the financial regulatory reform bill currently in Congress.  You know, the one that Big Labor is supporting with Democrats – the one that proposes the big banks and government spy on your bank accounts and report your loan info to a big government database for all to see?  Yeah, that bill.  Bank of America lobbyists have been busy lobbying Democrats and donating money to Democrats.

I think the folks at SEIU may be a bit confused over there – first they storm private property and intimidate a teenage child, then they bite the hands that feed them, and they overlook all the money flowing into the Democratic coffers on this bill and selectively go after only seemingly Republican targets.  Only, their targets aren’t Republican at all.  This one in particular – definitely not a Republican, as Easton describes Baer:

“Instead, a friendly Huffington Post blogger showed up, narrowcasting coverage to the union’s leftist base. The rest of the message these protesters brought was personal-aimed at frightening Baer and his family, not influencing a broader public.

Of course, HuffPost readers responding to the coverage assumed that Baer was an evil former Bush official. He’s not. A lifelong Democrat, Baer worked for the Clinton Treasury Department, and his wife, Shirley Sagawa, author of the book The American Way to Change and a former adviser to Hillary Clinton, is a prominent national service advocate.”

“TEL AVIV – NATO troops are training in Turkey for a Turkish-led NATO invasion of Syria, a senior Syrian diplomatic official claimed to WND.

Separately, informed Middle East security officials said Russia has been inspecting Syrian forces and has been advising Syria about possible Syrian military responses should NATO attack the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The officials said Russia recently sold Syria a large quantity of Iskander ballistic missiles, and that, in light of the NATO threat, the Russian government renewed its pledge to sell Syria the advanced S-300 anti-missile system.

The Syrian diplomatic official, meanwhile, recognized his country receives general support from Russia, but told WND that Assad’s regime is concerned the European Union and U.S. may offer Russia an economic incentive to scale back Russian support for Syria.

The report comes as Assad reportedly warned yesterday he will set the Middle East on fire if NATO forces attack his country.

“If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv,” Assad reportedly said, according to Iran’s state-run Fars news agency.

Assad made the comments in a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmad Davutoglu, reported Fars.

Fars reported Davutoglu conveyed a warning from NATO and the U.S. that Syria could face an international military campaign if Assad does not halt his violent crackdown on an insurgency targeting the Syrian president’s regime.

Assad also reiterated that Damascus will call on Hezbollah in Lebanon to launch an intensive rocket and missile attack on Israel, reported Fars.

“All these events will happen in three hours, but in the second three hours, Iran will attack the U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf and the U.S. and European interests will be targeted simultaneously,” Assad was quoted as saying.

While Assad’s remarks could not be immediately verified, Iran, which runs Fars, is a close partner to the Damascus government.

WND first reported in August that Assad is taking military measures to prepare for a possible U.S.-NATO campaign against his regime.

Informed Egyptian security officials told WND Assad instructed the Syrian military to be prepared for an air or ground campaign if the international community determines his pledges of reform are not enough.

Also in August, WND first reported Turkey secretly passed a message to Damascus that if it does not implement major democratic reforms, NATO may attack Assad’s regime, according to Egyptian security officials.

The Egyptian security officials said the message was coordinated with NATO members, specifically with the U.S. and European Union.

The Egyptian officials said Turkish leaders, speaking for NATO, told Assad that he has until March to implement democratization that would allow free elections as well as major constitutional reforms.

Last month, Obama officially asked Assad to step down to pave the way for a democratic system in Syria.

According to informed Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND, Assad asked his military to make specific preparations in the event of a U.S.-led NATO campaign similar to the military coalition now targeting Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

George Soros-funded doctrine with White House ties:

The Libya bombings have been widely regarded as a test of a military doctrine called “Responsibility to Protect.”

In his address to the nation in April explaining the NATO campaign in Libya, Obama cited the doctrine as the main justification for U.S. and international airstrikes against Libya.

Responsibility to Protect, or Responsibility to Act, as cited by Obama, is a set of principles, now backed by the United Nations, based on the idea that sovereignty is not a privilege but a responsibility that can be revoked if a country is accused of “war crimes,” “genocide,” “crimes against humanity” or “ethnic cleansing.”

The term “war crimes” has at times been indiscriminately used by various United Nations-backed international bodies, including the International Criminal Court, or ICC, which applied it to Israeli anti-terror operations in the Gaza Strip. There has been fear the ICC could be used to prosecute U.S. troops who commit alleged “war crimes” overseas.

The Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect is the world’s leading champion of the military doctrine.

As WND reported, billionaire activist George Soros is a primary funder and key proponent of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect. Several of the doctrine’s main founders also sit on boards with Soros.

WND reported the committee that devised the Responsibility to Protect doctrine included Arab League Secretary General Amre Moussa as well as Palestinian legislator Hanan Ashrawi, a staunch denier of the Holocaust who long served as the deputy of late Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat.

Also, the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy has a seat on the advisory board of the 2001 commission that originally founded Responsibility to Protect. The commission is called the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty. It invented the term “responsibility to protect” while defining its guidelines.

The Carr Center is a research center concerned with human rights located at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Samantha Power, the National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights, was Carr’s founding executive director and headed the institute at the time it advised in the founding of Responsibility to Protect.

With Power’s center on the advisory board, the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty first defined the Responsibility to Protect doctrine.

Power reportedly heavily influenced Obama in consultations leading to the decision to bomb Libya.

Two of the global group’s advisory board members, Ramesh Thakur and Gareth Evans, are the original founders of the doctrine, with the duo even coining the term “responsibility to protect.”

As WND reported, Soros’ Open Society Institute is a primary funder and key proponent of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect. Also, Thakur and Evans sit on multiple boards with Soros.

Soros’ Open Society is one of only three nongovernmental funders of the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect. Government sponsors include Australia, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Rwanda and the U.K.

Board members of the group include former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, former Ireland President Mary Robinson and South African activist Desmond Tutu. Robinson and Tutu have recently made solidarity visits to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip as members of a group called The Elders, which includes former President Jimmy Carter.

Annan once famously stated, “State sovereignty, in its most basic sense, is being redefined – not least by the forces of globalization and international co-operation. States are ... instruments at the service of their peoples and not vice versa.”

Soros: Right to 'penetrate nation-states':

Soros himself outlined the fundamentals of Responsibility to Protect in a 2004 Foreign Policy magazine article titled“The People’s Sovereignty: How a New Twist on an Old Idea Can Protect the World’s Most Vulnerable Populations.”

In the article Soros said, “True sovereignty belongs to the people, who in turn delegate it to their governments.”

“If governments abuse the authority entrusted to them and citizens have no opportunity to correct such abuses, outside interference is justified,” Soros wrote. “By specifying that sovereignty is based on the people, the international community can penetrate nation-states’ borders to protect the rights of citizens.

“In particular,” he continued, “the principle of the people’s sovereignty can help solve two modern challenges: the obstacles to delivering aid effectively to sovereign states, and the obstacles to global collective action dealing with states experiencing internal conflict.”

More George Soros ties:

“Responsibility” founders Evans and Thakur served as co-chairmen with Vartan Gregorian, president of Carnegie Corp. Charitable Foundation, on the advisory board of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty, which invented the term “responsibility to protect.”

In his capacity as co-chairman, Evans also played a pivotal role in initiating the fundamental shift from sovereignty as a right to “sovereignty as responsibility.”

Evans presented Responsibility to Protect at the July 23, 2009, United Nations General Assembly, which was convened to consider the principle.

Thakur is a fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, which is in partnership with an economic institute founded by Soros.

Soros is on the executive board of the International Crisis Group, a “crisis management organization” for which Evans serves as president-emeritus.

WND previously reported how the group has been petitioning for the U.S. to normalize ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, the main opposition in Egypt, where longtime U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak was recently toppled.

Aside from Evans and Soros, the group includes on its board Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei, as well as other personalities who champion dialogue with Hamas, a violent offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

WND also reported the crisis group has petitioned for the Algerian government to cease “excessive” military activities against al-Qaida-linked groups and to allow organizations seeking to create an Islamic state to participate in the Algerian government.

Soros’ own Open Society Institute has funded opposition groups across the Middle East and North Africa, including organizations involved in the current chaos.

'One World Order':

WND reported that doctrine founder Thakur recently advocated for a “global rebalancing” and “international redistribution” to create a “New World Order.”

In a piece last March in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, “Toward a new world order,” Thakur wrote, “Westerners must change lifestyles and support international redistribution.”

He was referring to a United Nations-brokered international climate treaty in which he argued, “Developing countries must reorient growth in cleaner and greener directions.”

In the opinion piece, Thakur then discussed recent military engagements and how the financial crisis has impacted the U.S.

“The West’s bullying approach to developing nations won’t work anymore – global power is shifting to Asia,” he wrote.

“A much-needed global moral rebalancing is in train,” he added.

Thakur continued: “Westerners have lost their previous capacity to set standards and rules of behavior for the world. Unless they recognize this reality, there is little prospect of making significant progress in deadlocked international negotiations.”

Thakur contended “the demonstration of the limits to U.S. and NATO power in Iraq and Afghanistan has left many less fearful of ‘superior’ Western power.”

Presidential candidate Herman Cain, a black man from pre-civil rights Georgia, came from parents relegated to menial work, who believed in hard work.  Cain was college educated. He has an impressive record of personal achievement and leadership in the private sector.

Many of America’s blacks, products of the welfare state, are taught to believe they have been given a raw deal in life because of their skin color.  President Obama, their hero, had a black Kenyan communist father who deserted his mother before Obama was born.  Obama’s white mother was a socialist who remarried an Indonesian Muslim, a socialist.  Obama spent his early life in Indonesia under Muslim teaching.

Obama returned to his native Hawaii to live with his white grandparents. His grandfather was a communist. His grandmother was a bank official Obama felt was prejudiced against blacks. We can wonder why. His grandmother paid for Obama’s Harvard education. Obama says he followed his Marxist teachers’ thinking. Since his election, Obama has surrounded himself with socialists and revolutionaries.

Obama was picked in secret by socialists and revolutionaries with big money, to run against Hillary Clinton. Obama’s background was not reported by America’s liberal press. Had those who voted for him known who Obama was, he would not have gotten their votes.  After Hillary’s campaign money ran out, Obama’s socialist and revolutionary backers poured money into Obama’s election. By hook and crook, they got their man elected. Obama ran against a Republican that followed a crony capitalist, Bailout Bush. John McCain is also a crony capitalist. Politicians are all peas in a pod, leeches living on the backs of American workers.  Joe, the plumber, told us. You can’t expect freedom without personal participation.  

Obama has stepped up crony capitalism, a process that began over a hundred years ago, called progressivism.  To lead the American people away from the truth, little wonder that thousands of manipulated suckers have been put on Wall Street by the same crowd of socialists and revolutionaries that put Obama in office. Most of Wall Street’s street residents, without a clue of what’s real, living on the backs of taxpayers, parasites blocking the street, hurting businesses, using the street for their human waste, are absolutely disgusting.  

Of course Obama and his socialist, revolutionary crowd would think this is a politically smart move. But what does Obama know? With his big ego, Obama is being manipulated. As usual, the liberal press is distorting the truth of the matter.  How dare anyone claim those residents of Wall Street have anything in common with the Tea Party!  None of this makes any sense until you realize that the world is being manipulated by a tiny number of people within in secret movements, such as the Free Masons, people you never heard of with vast resources at their disposals, who have managed to turn America into a weakling.  

America is faced with a hard choice: continue on the present downstream course, set by socialists and revolutionaries, who themselves are being manipulated by a tiny few, and end a socialist dictatorship, or turn the ship of state around and head upstream, which will take much energy.  Herman Cain, a black man from pre-civil rights Georgia, an inspiration to blacks and whites, led a large corporation out of bankruptcy and into the profit column. Based on his long illustrious experience in the private sector, Herman Cain has a specific plan to get America back on track.
