The Solar thing just got a little more interesting... REALLY!

The
Tonopah Solar Company in Harry Reid's Nevada is getting a $737 million loan from Obama's D.O.E.

The Project will produce a 110 Megawatt Power System, and employs l45 Permanent Workers.

That's costing us just $16 million per Job.

One of the Investment Partners in this endeavor is Pacific Corporate Group (PCG).

Saul Alinsky ....

Born: Saul David Alinsky, January 30, 1909, Chicago, Illinois

Died: June 12, 1972, Carmel-by-the-Sea, California

Education: University of Chicago, Ph.D. 1930, University of Chicago Graduate School, criminology, 1930–1932.

Occupation: Community organizer, writer, political activist, socialist democrat.

Notable works: Reveille for Radicals (1946); Rules for Radicals (1971)

Saul David Alinsky(January 30, 1909 – June 12, 1972) was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing. He is often noted for his book Rules for Radicals. From that book here are Saul's thoughts on how to create a social state:

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

1) Healthcare  Control healthcare and you control the people

2) Poverty  Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt  Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control  Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare  Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

6) Education  Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion  Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.

8) Class Warfare  Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Any questions ?

Obama-the-King.jpg

According to financial disclosure reports, President Obama has an estimated net worth of  $7 million dollars.

Since he was worth $1.3 million in 2007, that makes the millionaire  438% more wealthy than when he first ran for office.

As reported by the International Business Times:

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama listed assets worth between $2 million and $7 million for 2013, of which $1 million to $5 million were in Treasury notes, according to financial disclosure forms released Thursday.

Let me be clear, there is nothing wrong with being a millionaire.  The United States is home to the most millionaires because of the kind of opportunity it offers to hard-working entrepreneurs.

POLL: Should Barack Obama resign the Presidency?

While the average US citizen has a median income of roughly $51,000, Obama rakes in the cash with an annual presidential salary of $400,000. In addition, he receives money from book royalties and other investments.

Hypocrisy isn’t a stranger to the liberal elite. Michael Moore’s fifty milliondollar fortune came from creating documentaries that makes free enterprise look like the same as corporatism.

The activist left said Mitt Romney was too rich to be president, but had no problem supporting John “I’m Wealthier Than Romney” Kerry when he ran for the same post in 2004.

Under President Obama, income inequality has increased dramatically. Asreported here earlier, of the last three presidents, “the income gap didn’t change overall during the Bush years, increased second most during Clinton’s time, and has increased the most with only 5 years under Obama’s belt.”

 When one looks through the rhetorical veneer of the White Privilege Conference, hypocrisies abound.

The White Privilege folks say Christianity is oppressive while the violent Muslim Brotherhood is just a “political party.” Capitalism is bad even though conference organizers hawk facilitator guides for $99. And nothing says “I’m oppressed” quite like a $50 polo shirt!

Other aspects include segregated workshops open to only some conference participants, based solely on the color of their skin. The reason? An organizer told our investigator: “It can feel, for some people of color, unsafe. Not universally – like in your group everybody was fine, but for some people it can feel like, oh, I don’t … ”

“Because I was white they would feel unsafe?” our reporter asked as he was led out of the workshop.

POLL: If the Republicans take the Senate in November, will that solve the problems in Washington DC?

“Exactly. Exactly,” the organizer said. “And it’s not because you’ve done anything. You seem like a perfectly fine person, but it’s because of experiences they’ve had with others.”

If a white person displayed that attitude with any person of color, it would be called racism. If, for example, an elderly White woman clutches her purse a little tighter in a parking lot when a black man is approaching – because she recently heard about a rash of purse snatchings – she’s a racist.

But if a person of color isn’t comfortable sitting in a room with a White person because of something another White person may have done to them, well that must be racism, too.

But perhaps the most ironic and contradictory occurrence was Victor Woods’ sweet ride.

Woods, convict-turned-best-selling author, wouldn’t tell the audience all of his secrets.

You’d be surprised how many people say, ‘How’d you do it?’ I guarantee you someone in this session will walk up to me when everyone’s gone and say (inaudible) and I will let you know, and it’s in the book for $24.95!

Woods’ red Corvette could be seen parked in the most privileged spot in the parking lot at the conference hotel.

But Woods’ main message was likely lost on attendees.

This is America! … Anything you want to do you can do. … I wrote this book: “Successfully Achieving Your Vision.” Eyesight’s what’s in front of you. Vision is what you see down the road. Work ethic. Perseverance. Do you know how long it took to write this book? Five years. .. See the world opens up for a man or woman who knows where they’re going.

That’s a wise and lasting message for true victims of racism and oppression. But purveyors of the White Privilege Conference would instead have them wallow in pity, anger and ultimately, failure.

Do the White Privilege people really believe they are doing black children any favors by teaching them that America hates them, and there’s no hope for them in this racist society?

‘Some look at it as treason,’ stated former CIA officer Wayne Simmons.

The Citizens Committee on Benghazi, an independent group of former top military officers and CIA members stated on Tuesday that if the U.S. hadn't been arming AL-Qaeda militias the Benghazi attack that killed 4 Americans could have been prevented.

‘The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,’ stated Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer.

‘Remember, these weapons that came into Benghazi were permitted to enter by our armed forces who were blockading the approaches from air and sea,’ Lopez also claimed. ‘They were permitted to come in. … [They] knew these weapons were coming in, and that was allowed..

‘The intelligence community was part of that, the Department of State was part of that, and certainly that means that the top leadership of the United States, our national security leadership, and potentially Congress – if they were briefed on this – also knew about this.’

‘Some look at it as treason,’ stated former CIA officer Wayne Simmons.

Basically, Obama armed al-Qaeda to topple Gaddafi, WHILE Gaddafi was verifiable succumbing to US demands. Obama preferred to give arms to his terrorist buddies, which they used to kill Americans, rather than allowing for a peaceful resolution that was already in progress.

Benghazi attack could have been prevented if US hadn’t ‘switched sides in the War on Terror’ and allowed $500 MILLION of weapons to reach al-Qaeda militants, reveals damning report.

Citizens Committee on Benghazi claims the US government allowed arms to flow to al-Qaeda-linked militants who opposed Muammar Gaddafi
Their rise to power, the group says, led to the Benghazi attack in 2012

The Myth of Segregation's Return

tumblr_maw9ehZGRi1r2r773o1_r1_1280.jpg

The 60th anniversary of the Brown vs. Board of Education decision was sure to draw a flood of retrospectives and analysis, and properly so.

But an equally safe bet was the hijacking of the occasion for the proliferation of agenda-driven malarkey.

If you name something the “Civil Rights Project” and put it at UCLA, it becomes easy to predict what it will crank out. Just in time for what should be a celebration of a landmark ruling marking our societal path to enlightenment, along come these Debbie Downers to tell us that no, in fact, segregation is still very much alive.

POLL: Is Common Core indoctrination or education?

This may come as a surprise to anyone with a grasp of what words mean.

“Segregation,” as it pertains to the history of U.S. education policy, refers to actual laws preventing kids of certain races from attending certain schools. It recalls the unfathomable days when a black student could live within the territory of a school near his home and be denied admission because of skin color. Our schools have long been purged of such poison, but how will the Civil Rights Project at UCLA fill its days if American law has indeed righted itself racially?

Needing a narrative of America as a land still in dire need of racial scolding, they have graced us with a report, “Brown at 60: Great Progress, a Long Retreat and and Uncertain Future.”

Rest assured the “Great Progress” section in no way recognizes our society’s enormous leaps toward racial awakening. It embraces instead the social engineering that yanked both black and white kids out of schools they wished to attend, casting them into faraway classrooms to achieve diversity numbers that pleased an activist bureaucracy but made kids miserable.

Who's really driving the Hillary train?

487db1b3b4jmawork.jpg

Perhaps you've noticed that Democrats in Washington get a little touchy these days where Hillary Clinton is concerned. A few weeks ago, I had the temerity to suggest that Clinton wouldn't be able to run unopposed for the Democratic nomination. This prompted an immediate response in the Daily Beast from Bob Shrum, the venerable party strategist, who argued that of course Clinton would easily clear the Democratic field and waltz to the nomination, because her situation so closely resembles that of Ulysses Grant in 1868. I'm not making this up.

All this defensiveness leads me to think that a lot of commentators are confused about what's going on with Clinton's political future right now. We think what we're seeing is an elaborate campaign, directed by Hillary, to lock down the 2016 nomination and solidify her image as a leader. But in reality, this isn't emanating from Clinton, and it has nothing to do with voters. What we're really looking at is a campaign orchestrated by nervous Democrats and aimed at persuading Clinton herself.

POLL: What is the worst Hillary Clinton scandal?

The truth is that, leaving aside all this bravado about happy demographics and the disunion of Republicans, Democrats are scared out of their minds right now. The House is solidly out of reach. The Senate is slipping away. And the White House could be close behind, especially if Clinton doesn't run, and if Republicans can rally around a credible candidate.

In the six decades since we added the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which prohibits a president from serving more than two consecutive terms, only once has either party managed to hold on to the White House for more than eight years. That was in 1988, when Republicans lucked into a campaign against Michael Dukakis. (Ask Shrum about it.)

Students at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota cancelled a “Hump Day” party last week featuring a live camel following complaints that the event could be viewed as offensive to Middle Eastern cultures.

The campus’ Residence Hall Association nixed its own event after several students began organizing a protest on Facebook. The protest had received more than 100 RSVPs before it was deleted Wednesday, according to a Thursday report in Campus Reform.

POLL: Is Common Core indoctrination or education?

The episode has since triggered a social-media backlash against campus political correctness, with critics expressing incredulity over the idea that a camel is somehow culturally insensitive or racist.

“Hopefully this story will be the straw that broke the camel’s back for hypersensitivity on college campuses,” said Andrew Clark, digital press secretary at the National Republican Congressional Committee, on Twitter.

Residence Life Director Aaron Macke told TommieMedia, the school’s online publication, that the organization brought a reindeer to campus in December without incident.

Bill Maher issued a challenge to Republicans on Friday's Real Time: put your money where your mouth is already and just impeach President Obama. Maher argued, "If you really believe Benghazi is that serious and Obama is that big a crook, then you should impeach him tomorrow." And, Maher said, it would actually help the president, because a partisan attempt to impeach him would trigger a popularity surge.

POLL: Do House Conservatives Have Enough Evidence to Impeach Obama?

Maher compared Republican "blather" on Benghazi to "trying to relate to someone who's tripping when you're not." He tore into the GOP and Fox News for having a near-single-minded obsession with Benghazi above all else, in a bubble where "rational arguments don't matter" and Fox will ignore whatever Obama says unless it's about Benghazi.

In the wake of a botched lethal injection in Oklahoma last month, a Utah lawmaker says he believes a firing squad is a more humane form of execution. And he plans to bring back that option for criminals sentenced to death in his state.

Rep. Paul Ray, a Republican from the northern Utah city of Clearfield, plans to introduce his proposal during Utah's next legislative session in January. Lawmakers in Wyoming and Missouri floated similar ideas this year, but both efforts stalled. Ray, however, may succeed. Utah already has a tradition of execution by firing squad, with five police officers using .30-caliber Winchester rifles to execute Ronnie Lee Gardner in 2010, the last execution by rifle to be held in the state.

POLL: Does the US legal system need to be reformed?

Ray argues the controversial method may seem more palatable now, especially as states struggle to maneuver lawsuits and drug shortages that have complicated lethal injections.

"It sounds like the Wild West, but it's probably the most humane way to kill somebody," Ray said.

Utah eliminated execution by firing squad in 2004, citing the excessive media attention it gave inmates. But those sentenced to death before that date still had the option of choosing it, which is how Gardner ended up standing in front of five armed Utah police officers. Gardner was sentenced to death for fatally shooting a Salt Lake City attorney in 1985 while trying to escape from a courthouse.

Freedom past, freedom future

True story, sort of, not really - well… it's a story:

 I don’t have a lot of time to get this written and sent, so here’s kind of an overview of the events that happened - most of what follows are excerpts from my daily log of the adventure we were having.

 Of course this is not a full account of that adventure but rather a brief look at what we found inside that strange object – if only I feared less and had more time.

 Day 1 – the ICE CLIMB BABY – YEAH!

We thought it would be fun to go hiking and climb a glacier, so we did, but that's not the amazing part - no time here to get into the details about the actual climb itself. As we stood on the top of the ice flow we noticed a dark outline about 100 yards from us, so we very carefully worked our way towards it. It didn't take long to realize it was some sort of metallic object as some of it was poking out through the ice. The thing was pretty good sized and some of the others thought it may have been like an old station or something that had gone into the ice.

 Okay, so basically it looked like, I don't know… a ship of some sort, not really sure. Clearly human in origin as it had markings that we recognized as being from earth (I guess we were hoping we'd stumbled upon an alien craft or something, that would've been really cool), but anyways – the hole in the side of that ship was really a gash that we could easily walk through and enter into what appeared to be, and this is my best guess here, the fuselage or cargo hold area maybe.

Okay, I have to make this brief as I don't think there's a lot of time left for me to get this message out.

 So we were inside the craft, unsure of what anything was, we did see seats and what appeared to be monitors of some sort (but, like, really advanced, it must’ve been maybe some sort of holographic projection or something? But nothing was on that we could tell.) and other things you'd expect to see. It was sort of like – I don't know – like a passenger transport or something, there were a few seats in the middle of it in three rows. First we looked around and didn’t see much, all we had were a few flashlights. There was nothing in there, aside from the seats and display panels and stuff, we didn’t see any people - heck, we didn’t even see any evidence that anyone had even been in there - that we could tell.

But then we found something really amazing, it looked like the only thing in the entire craft that wasn't part of, or you know, connected to the craft. What we found looked like a briefcase, in fact it was one of those hard cases you might put your computer in or – you know, like the military uses, okay I - I really need to get to the point here - so, not really thinking about the consequences, and being overly excited, we opened up the case. Unlike the Hollywood movies it simply popped open and there was only one thing inside. It was like a really nice tablet computer (best example I can think of, sorry), very large screen and super-thin but flexible – like a sheet of plastic, but had a weird thing at the bottom that I guess ended up being a battery, not sure…

Wow, I really want to explain more of what we saw and what happened but I really have to tell you the main point of this before they catch up to me.

We took the tablet computer out and turned it on (I found the button – it had the power symbol, figured it out), but it was preloaded with some sort of software that just began running a message, we took a video of what scrolled across the screen so at least we have that, okay – okay, I know, we have to hurry – here's what the message said:

~~~July 5, 2023. The greatest minds of our time have accomplished, upon the threshold of these fateful days, that which has allowed us to send this back to you. We know that this singular act could change who we are and what we are now, in our time. But we would rather not be than to remain as we are. Brevity is key here, as those who would stop us are always but a breath behind us.
If all goes as planned this should arrive to you, the still free peoples of America – hopefully near the year two thousand thirteen. The science is new and unexplored, we pray this makes it.
As there are those among us who believe that influencing our present by manipulating the past could be paradoxical, let alone unethical, we have reached an agreement on the content of the message contained herein.
We, the Last Free, bring you this dire warning in hopes that we will be no more as we are. You must decipher this as your mind and your will and your temperance and your faith dictate, therein you will find the truth of this message as we dare say but little about our time.
We, the Last few Free, say unto you, the Free:
"Heed Churchill, heed Thatcher, heed de Tocqueville, turn an ear to the warnings of Bastiat, Robart and Orwell. Heed the warnings of those who, in the past and your present, had the foresight to glimpse the future. Attend to the cautionary statements of Horowitz, of Reagan, of Jefferson, of Madison, for if you do not you will be as we are.
 Flood your streets with that grand statement of declaration that history has afforded you!
Impugn those who would denigrate the blood – bought authority of that established document that is your Constitution.
 To the free of the past we say; keep your liberties, keep your freedoms, honor the virtues that have given you what you are willingly, and with an air of supportive complacency, relinquishing.
Should this Councel and Portend find you: relinquish not your given rights to praise, honor, and venerate as your soul is led.
And finally we, the Last Free, having taken leave of you in a time ahead, request that you ponder this from Spencer: “The wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future.”~~~
That’s what was on the screen, word for word - that’s all I have time for, I need to get this uploaded, fast – gotta go.
Vice President Joseph R. Biden poses with a camel in this photo tweeted by the White House.
The University of St. Thomas in Minnesota cancelled an end-of-the-year event featuring a camel and a “petting zoo type of atmosphere” after students said that bringing a camel to campus would be racist towards Middle Eastern cultures, reports Campus Reform.
The “Hump Day” celebration was organized by the school’s Residence Hall Association and was to feature a local owner’s live camel that is rented out for special events.
Apparently, students were not on board with the festivities. They created a Facebook group named “Protest Hump DAAAAAAY!” to which over 100 students responded as attendees. The group called into question the $500 spent to rent the camel as well as the racial insensitivity that the event would display to those from the Middle East. The page was deleted Wednesday.
The Residence Hall Association addressed the protest on its own Facebook page. “RHA’s goal in programming is to bring residents together in a fun and safe environment where all people can enjoy themselves,” wrote RHA president Lindsay Goodwin. “It appears however, this program is dividing people and would make for an uncomfortable and possibly unsafe environment for everyone attending or providing the program. As a result, RHA has decided to cancel the event.”
When asked about the incident, a university spokesperson said plainly, “St. Thomas is a Catholic university that welcomes students of all faiths and cultures.”
But, apparently, the university doesn’t welcome camels.
Performance of 'YMCA' at talent show by first-grade class cancelled for being racist
Performance-of-YMCA-at-talent-show-by-first-grade-class-cancelled-for-being-racist.jpg
FARGO, N.D., May 14 (UPI) --A North Dakota elementary school will not be allowing the young men and women in a first-grade class to perform YMCA at a talent show because a parent dubbed the planned performance "racist."
Students at Bennett Elementary School in Fargo were supposed to sing the famous Village People song during a May talent show.
The kids were supposed to come up dressed up like members of the '70s group - a policeman, a cowboy, a biker, a construction worker and a Native American.
Parent Elaine Bolman found it offensive that her daughter or her classmates would be asked to dress up like a stereotypical Native American caricature.
The University of Queensland in Australia is taking legal action to block the release of data used by one of its scientists to come up with the oft-quoted statistic that 97 percent of climate scientists agree that mankind is causing global warming.
Since coming out with this figure last year, climate scientist John Cook of the University of Queensland’s Global Change Institute has been under fire for the methodology he used.
“Our analysis indicates that the number of papers rejecting the consensus on [anthropogenic global warming] is a vanishingly small proportion of the published research,’’ Cook and his fellow authors wrote in their study which was published in the journal Environmental Research Letters last year.
The university has told climate skeptic blogger Brandon Schollenberger that the data on the study he possesses was illegally obtained and they would take legal action against him if he published it.
POLL: Is Global Warming junk science with a political agenda or is it real?
“UQ has therefore published all data relating to the paper that is of any scientific value to the wider community,” said Queensland’s acting pro-vice-chancellor Alastair McEwan.
“UQ withheld only data that could identify research participants who took part in the research on condition of anonymity,” McEwan added. “Such conditions are not uncommon in academic research, and any breach of confidentiality could deter people from participating in valuable research in the future.”
McEwan said that all the data Cook used to come up with his “97 percent” consensus was published on his blog SkepticalScience.com. The school says it wants to protect the privacy of those surveyed in Cook’s research.
“That’s right. The University of Queensland sent me a threatening letter which threatens me further if I show anyone that letter,” Schollenberger wrote on his blog Thursday. “Confusing, no? It gets stranger. Along with its threats, the University of Queensland included demands.”
“According to it, I’m not just prevented from disclosing any of the ‘intellectual property’ (IP) I’ve gained access to,” Schollenberger added. “I’m prevented from even doing anything which involves using the data. That means I can’t discuss the data. I can’t perform analyses on it. I can’t share anything about it with you.”
“Apparently I badgered Cook too much. I tried too hard to get him to do his duty and try to protect his subjects’ privacy. The University of Queensland needs me to stop. If I don’t, they’ll sue me,” he said.
Cook’s paper has been touted by environmentalists and the Obama administration as evidence that virtually all scientists agree that global warming is a man-made threat.
“Ninety-seven percent of scientists, including, by the way, some who originally disputed the data, have now put that to rest,” President Obama said last year announcing his climate plan. “They’ve acknowledged the planet is warming and human activity is contributing to it.”
But Cook’s 97 percent consensus claim was rebutted in subsequent analyses of his study. A paper by five leading climatologists published in the journal Science and Education last year found that Cook’s study misrepresented the views of most consensus scientists.
History repeating itself?
I have been observing events over the past years and I am becoming more alarmed at what I have been seeing. I remember over the course of history some disturbing things. We have had great empires in the past. The Egyptian, Greek, and Roman Empires. What is interesting is that these empires were at their peak when their military was at its strongest but even more importantly the people's sense of nationalism and patriotism was at its apex. At these times the people thought that they were invincible....and at that time they were. They began to enjoy the fruits of their power kick back and suck it all in. This resulted in their becoming more self centered and believing that everything was theirs by privilege. They began to forget the battles and fields of blood that was the cost of such fruits of victory....and this was especially true in future generations where the population didn't experience war as a part of personal experience. Sure future battles were to be fought but they were far from the homeland and with such wealth as they had....they mainly just paid off mercenaries to fight these battles for them to a degree. The citizens, military, and politicians in particular became soft and flabby (looking at the Romans in this case). However, it was decadence that brought these empires down. The break down of families and the huge sex orgies and such laziness by the population like nothing else existed outside of their own little world. Homosexuality and actions with animals and other horrendous things took place.......like in the sands of the arena.....where the image of fat Romans taking in a comfortable afternoon eating and laughing.......while watching Christians being thrown to the lions or watching gladiators fighting to the death. Human life...outside of their own...became meaningless. This makes me fear in a way on a sidenote.....could this cheapness of life being taught to our youth in our country via violent video games.....then playing out in schoolyard shootings? In these empires of our past......none of them were brought down militarily. They all basically collapsed from within. We could consider ourselves as an empire once we gained our freedom since we have not been brought down since but we are certainly getting weaker. Remembering the strength of empires before us, they were at their peak as they returned home from the battlefield victorious and the population were united and had something to be proud of. Sounds a little like us during VE and VJ day? Since the surrender of Japan at the conclusion of WWII, we seemed to have taken a downward turn.
Is history going to repeat itself? In 1939 when ole Adolf was beginning to cause problems in Europe and Japan began sparring with China, everyone was in a sense of denial......after all a horrible WWI had just been fought just a few decades before and that kind of war could not happen again.....or could it? Germany invaded a portion of Austria due to the presence of a large German ethinic population.....hmm....Crimea parallel?  Okay....acceptable. Next came Poland. Europe was still in denial but they did send some troops to re enforce some set piece positions around France. Russia was also in denial as they signed a non aggression pact with Hitler. Then Germany broke out into an all out war in Europe. It just couldn't happen again after the gas and trench warfare during WWI? The battles began to be fought and country after country began to fall in part due to their own denial of what was happening a few years before. The USA woke up (to a degree) and we became the Arsenal for Democracy as we supplied the Europeans hardware for their war effort but no troops. We stayed fat, dumb, and happy protected on either side by oceans. Well, that lasted until we were attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor and in the Philippines Dec. 7, 1941...the day that will live in infamy. We declared war on Japan and guess what?....Germany and Italy declared war on us. We were now involved whether we wanted to be or not. Thankfully our oceans DID protect us and gave us a time to rebuild, gear up a wartime industry, and train troops for battle. We almost waited too long. We just barely beat Germany in developing atomic arms.....and they already had somewhat of a delivery system with the V1 and V2 rockets......the first missiles. Well, we got away with it again and we suffered no direct damage to the country save Hawaii. Will history repeat itself? Our hardened victorious veterans returned home to a very patriotic crowd cheering them on. They came home and married and started raising families....the beginning of the baby boom. We were a very God fearing and religious country at that point and hard working. Divorce was almost unheard of. We began a downturn of sorts after the war and it showed when the Korean War broke out. I don't recall the battle but we suffered our greatest defeat on the ground in Korea but we held on and won....sort of. We also....for the time being....gained the respect of the Chinese. It ended in an Armistice at the 38 parallel. That rocked us a bit. Then came Vietnam in 1965. Personally, even with a defense pact with South Vietnam, I would have not committed to defending them until the rid the government and the military of ALL corruption. As a result, the majority of that war we did most of the fighting. But South Vietnam was NOT part of the USA. We were powerless to win that war unless South Vietnam cleaned their act up politically. They didn't and they fell......and as a result....so did we. We lost our first war......yet in that war we did not lose a single battle. We were humiliated. Even our very close friends the Thais ordered our two military bases closed there. Our long time friends the Philippines didn't trust us either plus they thought that we were in bed with the Marcos regime and they closed our two bases there and booted us out of the country. Guess what? There were protests in the Philippines during Obama's recent visit there because there was a rumor that we were going to have greater military presence there. After all these years the Filipinos don't trust us and can you blame them?  They trusted MacArthur when Japan overran the Philippines when he said that he would return but they don't trust us now. Then our old friend the shah of Iran. We never should have befriended him to begin with as he was very brutal. After the revolution and our embassy was overrun and hostages were taken....we were again humiliated. That became more evident when President Jimmy Carter tried to micromanage a military rescue of the hostages and we failed miserably without even making substantial enemy contact! Say what you want about Iran but they are NOT stupid. The USA had enough of being the butt of jokes around the world and we elected President Ronald Regan and the Iranians had no doubt what Reagan would do when he got into office. During Reagan being sworn in.....an airline carrying our hostages left Tehran. President Regan brought us back. We were weak in leadership and our military underperformed under President Carter. Carter's intentions in general were honorable but he had absolutely no military experience and he always expected the best in people. If I could make one change in our laws today.....it would be that our Commander in Chief at least be a veteran. Before one can lead.....one must follow. We made a comeback because....unlike the previous empires......we were NOT decadent! We had very vocal anti Vietnam protests which I disagreed with but at least that showed that we still cared about the state of our country. Under President Reagan, we made a come back and he rebuilt our defense and put enormous pressure on the Soviet Union. We won some conflicts in Grenada and a few others. Finally.....the famous words......Mr Gorbachev.....tear down this wall!!! We had gotten our second chance and we took it. H.W Bush and Clinton came in and even though our military weakened yet again....Clinton gave us our first National Surplus that we haven't had in a very long time. Sadly, its been downhill ever since. G.W. Bush came in and ran into a problem. Evidence was that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and Sadam were using them on his own people in the north. There was photographic evidence that these weapons....apparently mustard gas...was used on the Kurds due to the presence of chemical burns. Well.....being a "good" country, Bush put pressure on Saddam. What does he get in return? Saddam decides to "borrow" Kuwait and invade Saudi Arabia. Bush unleashed our military against Saddam and overran them quickly. Saddam could only forestall the eventual defeat by withdrawing his Republican Guard to around Baghdad and take to more or less guerilla warfare. We won the war but found no weapons of mass destruction. The US population was really pissed! Where could they have gone?.....or was Bush lying?  Jump ahead some years and you learn that Syria used chemical munitions against their own population. Guess what country shares a border with Syria!!!......DUHHH!!!!.... Along comes Obama. When I was employed by the Federal Government, I had to prove I was a U.S. citizen. How in the world did Obama get out of doing that?  If memory serves.....when I joined the military in '74', I had to submit my Birth Certificate to prove my age. Maybe times changed. Right now I can't refer to Obama as president because I do not know if he is our president legally. He proves it and presents a valid birth certificate.....then he will be my president. Not a good one however. As far as I am concerned, he has done more damage to our country than any other person that I know about. I am afraid to even guess the condition of our military right now. We lose a war in Afghanistan? They are a much weaker military power than North Vietnam! North Vietnam had the best SAM defense in the whole world when we fought them. Our military and our country is a laughing stock. China challenges Japan and Philippine sovereignty with impunity without and fear and no respect for our military and certainly no respect for our leadership. Russia grabs Crimea. Iran thumbs its nose at us and, whether we want to believe it or not, continues to advance its nuclear weapons program. So they change their enriched Uranium to an oxide? It is absolutely no effort to convert it back to weapons grade again whenever they like. They even want to send one of the hostage takers over to the USA to be the Iranian Ambassador? Obama finally declined to allow that from happening but it took enormous pressure on him for that to take place. We have great workers in our country. What happens? Obama taxes us like crazy and brings forth this obamacare. What happened to free market enterprise? Health insurance isn't the only place that free enterprise dies. Our best minds and most successful businesses are now trying to protect what is theirs by moving their capital overseas. Some have moved it to Swiss Banks and to Singapore. Obama has put some kind of pressure on those countries to not allow our wealthiest Americans to invest their hard earned AND ALREADY TAXED money into those economies. That way their money can return here so that Obama can tax them AGAIN! Those businessmen in no way in hell are the going to invest money in businesses here in the USA in such a hostile business atmosphere! Low unemployment rate? How about people just giving up looking for work?  Remember what I said about decadence? We have a large number of our domestic population now on government assistance. Highest number on food stamps....highest on Medicaid. The rest of us supports them by paying high obamacare premiums and high deductibles. Remember what I said about decadence? People on food stamps and Medicaid now have no incentive to go look for work. Our once proud workforce that are currently unemployed are very discouraged because even if they did find work?.....They would just pay a majority of what they earn to high taxes and obamacare.....what's the use? You add to that the flood of illegal immigrants coming across the border being welcomed by Obama and they will work for a fraction of a wage that our unemployed need to work for....after all....unlike the illegal aliens....they HAVE to pay taxes and they are not on Medicaid. My heart goes out to our proud citizens (who are probably not proud any longer) who have tried to find work and against such odds as they face.....have given up. This is the FIRST time in my life that I have seen ANY Americans in numbers "give up"!!  Traditionally since we gained our independence we are all warriors and we are all WINNERS!
NOW I begin to see a parallel with us and the fallen Roman Empire. The liberals, all fat, dumb, and happy along with all the muslims that have come into our country at a rate I can't believe. It took me 14 months to get my Filipino wife here legally on an immigrant visa. Don't forget the illegals coming across our southern border to take their turn at the trough. All these listed above along with Obama at the head.....are now sitting in the arena with the rest of us being thrown onto the sand to fight one another for scraps or to the lions......as the once CEO for Firefox was thrown....and the rest of us are in the cages below the arena awaiting our turn on the sand. Yes....they are all laughing....getting drunk....getting fat and having their big orgies while the rest of us perish. Yes........I now DO see a parallel between us and the fallen empires before us. They have even taken God away from us. For us that remain in slavery under Obama as the Jews once were to the Egyptians.......will God hear our cry for help?  My God, please save us! God Bless you all and thank you for letting me rave on.
"We are looking for the bishop of this church to slaughter him -- we are tired of the existence of this church near our mosque and the noise they are making." — Church elder quoting Muslims who attacked a priest, Zanzibar.
"Muslims wanted to punish [him]...because he had recently organised a demonstration against violence in Islam." — Local priest of a murdered Christian, Bangladesh.
"O people of the Scripture [Christians]. Do not exceed the limits of your religion....Cease! It will be better for you...." — Koran, 4:171, Billboard in Nazareth, Israel.
Human rights organization Open Doors published its 2014 World Watch List in January, highlighting and ranking the top 50 nations that persecute Christians. The overwhelming majority of countries making the list—and nine of the top-ten worst offenders—are Muslim, and include nations from among America's allies (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait) and its contenders (Iran); from among economically rich nations (Qatar) and poor nations (Somalia and Yemen); from among "Islamic republic" nations (Afghanistan), "democracies" (Iraq), and "moderate" nations (Malaysia and Indonesia).
The report also indicates that every Muslim nation that the U.S. has helped "liberate," including during the "Arab Spring," has become significantly worse for Christians and other minorities. Previously moderate Syria is now ranked the third-worst nation in the world in which to be Christian, Iraq fourth, Afghanistan fifth, and Libya 13th. All four receive the worst designation in the ranking process: "extreme persecution."
Three of these countries—Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya—were "liberated" in part thanks to U.S. forces, while in the fourth, Syria, the U.S. is actively sponsoring "freedom fighters" against the regime. Many of these "freedom fighters" have been responsible for any number of atrocities—including massacres, beheadings, and the crucifixion of Christians, and others.
Despite this track record of interfering in Islamic nations, only for the human rights of minorities to plummet, and despite the fact that Syria has gotten dramatically worse for Christian minorities, Secretary of State John Kerrydeclared in January that, if only Bashar Assad goes away, "I believe that a peace can protect all of the minorities: Druze, Christian, Isma'ilis, Alawites—all of them can be protected, and you can have a pluralistic Syria, in which minority rights of all people are protected."
The same was predicted of Iraq over a decade ago, yet today, well more than half of the Christians are either dead or have fled, after years of constant attacks on their churches and persons once the Arab dictator Saddam Hussein was ousted.
Libya offers a more recent precedent. Since U.S.-backed "rebels" overthrew Qaddafi, Christians—including Americans—have been tortured and killed (some for refusing to convert), churches bombed, and nuns threatened.
January's roundup of Muslim persecution of Christians around the world includes (but is not limited to) the following accounts, listed by theme and country in alphabetical order, not necessarily according to severity.
Attacks on Christian Places of Worship
Egypt: Christian churches were severely targeted during the first month of 2014. Among other incidents, during New Year Eve church services, Muslim Brotherhood supporters attacked St. George Church in Ain Shams; one young Coptic man died from a bullet wound to the head. International Christian Concern reports that on Friday, January 3, Muslim Brotherhood supporters also attacked an Evangelical Church in the Gesr El Suez area of Cairo, "pelt[ing] stones on the church and chanting slogans against Christians," in the words of a local. Reports indicate that "there was no security for the church building and that the attackers operated with impunity." On Sunday, January 5, security forces in Suez disrupted a terrorist cell belonging to the "Supporters of Jerusalem," whose members were plotting to attack a nearby church during January 7 Orthodox Christmas celebrations. In the bathroom of the Three Saints Church in the city of Beni Suef, the police found, among other items, a bomb, which was defused by police. On January 10, security forces "arrested a bearded person in possession of four hand grenades in a handbag next to the Church of Two Saints," according to a local Christian. (In 2011, a suicide attack on the same church on New Year's Eve resulted in the killing of over 20 Christian worshippers). On January 24, authorities found explosives inside a car parked behind the Al Malak Church, which was targeted, "to be exploded," sources told International Christian Concern. On January 25, security forces in the city of Ismailia found 26 Molotov Cocktails inside a bag next to the Church of St. Bishoy. Witnesses say that the person in possession of the bag of explosives was sitting in a car next to the church and that "he fled when he saw the policemen." On January 28, "A group of armed men," according to Asia News "attacked the Coptic Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary in the governorate of Giza. Police responded to gunfire and one officer died in the shootout, while two others were injured."
Indonesia: In the province of Aceh, where Sharia law holds sway, Christians, who make up 1.2 percent of the population, continue to be denied permits to build churches. According to Agenzia Fides, "There are only three churches in the provincial capital Banda Aceh (one Catholic and two Protestant), and even though the Christian population in Aceh is increasing, the requirements to obtain permits and the pressures of radical Islamic groups on the civilian authorities have made it extremely difficult for non-Muslims to build new places of worship. Moreover, the current governor of the province, Zaini Abdullah, who was elected in 2012, promotes a declared program of islamization of society." According to Zulfikar Muhammad, coordinator of the Aceh Human Rights Coalition, the laws that appear within Sharia districts "limit the freedom of minorities to practice their faith and are not coherent with the Indonesian Constitution."
Malaysia: An unidentified assailant hurled two firebombs at a shrine fronting the Church of the Assumption. Only one bomb ignited, causing minor damage to the structure. The assault seems to have been the response to Christians using the word "Allah" to refer to the biblical God. "But the incident," said Sky News, "stirred memories of a wave of such attacks on places of worship—mostly churches—four years ago during an earlier bout of divisions over the dispute in the Muslim-majority country.... Conservative Muslims have raised pressure in recent weeks for Malay-speaking Christians to stop using the word 'Allah.'"
Nigeria: On a Friday in the Muslim-majority north, gunmen suspected of being members of the Islamic organization Boko Haram burned down a church and the house of a National Assembly member. Separately, in the midst of several Sunday morning raids by Muslim Fulani herdsmen, at least fifteen Christians were killed.
South Sudan: During clashes between rebel groups and the recently formed government of South Sudan,Catholic and Protestant churches were attacked and priests forced to flee for their lives. The whereabouts of a bishop who disappeared remains unknown. Some 600,000 people, most of them Christian, have also fled their homes amid reports of mass slaughters and ongoing attacks on churches.
Zanzibar: More than 100 Muslims stormed a church following an evening worship service and beat the visiting preacher. According to a church elder, "These rowdy Muslims were shouting and yelling, saying, 'We are looking for the bishop of the church to slaughter him—we are tired of the existence of this church near our mosque and the noise they are making.'" The Islamic mob fled when police arrived—but not before tearing the visiting pastor's coat and shirt, and causing him to suffer multiple injuries requiring treatment. According to another church member, the "congregation has been living in fear for their lives... At the moment we cannot worship freely because we are being threatened. The Muslims are accusing us of making a lot of noise while they themselves make a lot of noise."
Attacks on Christian Freedom: Apostasy, Blasphemy, Proselytism
Algeria: Ali Touahir, a 52-year-old Muslim convert to Christianity, is paying the price for apostasy: his Muslim wife has left him, taking their seven-year-old daughter, and is divorcing him in court. One of his wife's brothers has openly threatened to kill him. According to court documents, the wife's lawyer wrote: "It is not possible that my client [the Muslim wife] still remain under the same roof with a man who has renounced his religion, as he became apostate; and we are not ignorant of the punishment that is due an apostate under sharia [death]."
Israel: Christians in Nazareth were warned against "slandering" Allah. A large billboard was posted in Nazareth featuring a picture of a stop sign, along with Koran 4:171 which reads: "O people of the Scripture [Christians]! Do not exceed the limits of your religion. Say nothing but the truth about Allah (The One True God). The Christ Jesus, Son of Mary, was only a Messenger of God and His word conveyed to Mary and a spirit created by Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not say: 'Three gods (trinity).' Cease! It will be better for you. Indeed, Allah is the One and the Only God. His Holiness is far above having a son."
Kazakhstan: A court fined two Protestant Christians for possession of Christian publications, which it defined as "extremist material." According to a note sent to Agenzia Fides, a "tough system of religious censorship imposed by the state" prevails in the nation. Earlier, in October, 2013, Bibles and icons in a small shop were seized by police, and the owner indicted for the sale of religious material without the permission of the state. Similarly, a 67-year-old Christian Presbyterian Pastor has been under arrest since May 17, 2013, on charges of distributing "extremist material" -- basic leaflets on the Christian faith.
Lebanon: After allegations of blasphemy, that a decades-old library owned by a Christian and church leader possessed "material deemed insulting to Islam and Muhammad," the building was torched in an arson attack; two-thirds of its 80,000 books and manuscripts were destroyed.
Malaysia: Christians using the word "Allah" for worship were again attacked by Muslim groups. Similarly, a portrait of Fr. Andrew Lawrence, Director of the Catholic Weekly Herald, was burned; threats to his life continue. Msg. Murphy Pakiam, the region's Archbishop Emeritus, in a letter asked that authorities to "take the necessary measures to prevent further provocative acts of intimidation against minorities." He concluded by saying, "Let us not forget to pray for our enemies, who have misunderstood our faith."
Ever since the emergence of the tea party in 2009, the media narrative has been pre-written and ready to deploy at opportune times. Embodying the intense frustrations of ordinary Americans with so-called limited-government Republicans who were forever raising taxes, increasing spending, and incurring more debt, the tea party demanded that their representatives keep their promises, and adhere to principle over politics. Otherwise, when the next election cycle rolled around, they would be fully prepared to throw the bums out.
Not only did this seismic shift ruffle the feathers of Democrats and those who wanted to expand government in perpetuity, it left many establishment Republicans, who had long enjoyed their unchallenged incumbency, understandably peeved. The response was swift and brutal.
You tea party whacko birds are ruining the Party. You’re handing the elections to Democrats. How dare you challenge incumbents in primaries? After all, whose side are you really on?
POLL: Is Global Warming junk science with a political agenda or is it real?
We’ve heard it over and over again, repeated ad nauseum in the echo chamber that is the mainstream media, even as we’ve scored amazing victories and elected some of the most incredible, principled candidates the Congress has seen in generations.
One of these figures is a young congressman from Michigan named Justin Amash. Steeped in the ideology of Austrian economics and a true belief in limited government, Amash has arguably been the single most principled, pro-liberty voice in the House of Representatives. You would think that the Republican Party would be proud to have so fiery an advocate for all the things they claim to stand for.
You would think wrong.
In fact, the Republican establishment in Michigan is lining up against Amash, along with big business and special interest lobbies, attempting to unseat the congressman who has fought more bravely than any other, in favor of just another traditional politician. Excuse me, but aren’t these the same people who have been saying that primarying a sitting Republican is tantamount to political treason?
It just goes to show that the mainstream assault on the tea party candidates has less to do with concern for the health of the Party, and is more about the quest for political power and self-enrichment.
Amash’s accomplishments during his short time in office are already legion. He authored the USA Freedom Act to put an end to the NSA’s reported spying on American citizens. He has sponsored bills proposing amendments to the Constitution that would limit spending and require a balanced budget. He has co-sponsored three bills to repeal ObamaCare. And he is one of only two representatives in the House to have voted with FreedomWorks 100 percent of the time.
What sort of Republican would want to banish so courageous a leader from Congress? How could the Party possibly gain from his defeat? Guys like Amash are what we’ve been crying out for for years: someone who sticks to his guns and does what he says he’s going to do. Not only that, but he’s been a model representative to the voters in his district, making frequent trips home from Washington and holding numerous town hall meetings to listen to the concerns of his constituents.
The GOP delegation has tipped its hand in Michigan. When they try to take down one of the best incumbents the Party has because he is not willing to keep his head down and blindly follow leadership, you know that they no longer care about setting conservative policy.
So, the next time you see Republicans wringing their hands and claiming the primary challenges from the right are bad politics, rest assured that politics, not good government, not principled leadership, but politics alone, is all they really care about.
The truth is the invasion has begun in America.
Check out these videos and see the death threats made to law abiding citizens.  These people are violent and they have no respect for any countries laws except Sharia own.  Violence and intimidation are their way of life, it's all about control.
Wake up because it may be to late in America if the complacent citizens do recognize what's taking place right now in our country.
