US Pulls Back on Urgency, Military Action in Syria

According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) the United States has in effect capitulated to the Russians and Syrians. The article by the WSJ claims the United States will give the Russian's and Syrian's several weeks to resolve the issue of turning Syria's chemical weapons over to the U.N. and that a U.N. resolution on the matter will not include the authorization for the use of force.
We have now seen, in effect, the United States surrender its leadership role in the world to the U.N. and Russia.
The following link is to an excellent article by the Foreign Policy Research Institute that in a nutshell says that Syria and the Russian's are playing us for dupes.
The premise of the argument is that we will likely capitulate rather than push the Syrian regime over the edge and bring it to its end. The consequences of that are such that the author of the article argues that rather than go down in defeat the Syrian's would likely employ chemical weapons on a mass scale against the rebels and that the current political moves are just a gambit to buy time.
While I don't agree with everything the author says, I think it has some valid points.

America as we know it is being systematically destroyed from within. I ask that everyone who hasn't watched the DVD. Behold a Pale Horse with Charlie Daniels do so. Its very eye opening, very revealing, and pretty scary. About what is happening and who's responsible and why. And after getting it and listening to and watching it. I believe you will be just as enlightened and inspired to take action as I am. Without having to read 20 books or do alot of research, This DVD pretty much tells it all and sums it up. And you pretty much have the whole scoop in about 45 minutes. I really can't express how much everyone needs to watch and hear this!!!!
Putin said a lot of things in his recent letter to the American people via an opinion article in the New York Times, and while some could be looked at a stretches of truth or reinterpretations of events (Putin is a politician after all), Putin did conclude his writing with a point about American Exceptionalism that, were it to come from someone other than the head of Russia, might actually have been paid attention to. Imagine someone else saying this so that you can read and try to comprehend what he is saying:
"My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. On September 11th, 2013, numerous people across the United States noticed something wrong... but were unable to explain it.
Concerned Citizens had heard about the "million muslim march on Washington DC" (on the anniversary date that muslim terrorists murdered 3,000 people in NYC) and the Patriots response the "2 million Bikers to DC" ride.
Funny thing happened; the Washington DC traffic camera's seemed to be non-functional and when Concerned Citizens attempted to view the camera footage - they either received a "site not available" webpage - or they received looped footage of some previous date, some of it with SNOW present on the ground.... in Washington DC in September!
It seems to me, either the rest of America desperately needs to wake up and realize we have a very real conspiracy afoot to deceive Americans and hide what the obama administration desperately does not want you to see - or we lose our freedom to a despot usurper who has done nothing his entire time in office but lie to America and drag this Nation into debt.
If the media and press would get off obama's bus - and board the American Citizens bus, we stand a chance of reclaiming our Nation before it is completely destroyed from within. The media seems to think it will fare better under the oppression of the obama administration - but they lack the foresight to understand that eventually the truth will come out - and their profits and business will suffer... extremely.

As President Obama continues to financially damage our countries economy, your credit score is more important now than it's ever been.
Interest rates continue to stay low thousands of Americans will flock to their lenders to refinance their homes, and many of those will find that their credit scores prevent them from taking any real advantage of those low rates. Borrowers that financed when rates were low previously, and their credit scores higher, were able to get a decent rate then. Now that they’ve missed a few payments (often due to unemployment) and lowered that score, they would likely get the same rate offered to them years ago, or worse.
Let’s take a look at what’s in a credit report and your FICOscore (The software used to calculate a great number of redit scores was created by the Fair Isaac Corporation–FICO).
Typically, four types of information are reflected:
- Personal information. This includes your name, spouse’s name, social security number, current and previous addresses, birth date and current and previous employers. This data is culled from your past credit applications, so its accuracy is dependent upon how completely and honestly you fill out forms each time you apply for credit.
- Credit information. Included is information regarding each of your accounts with banks, retailers, credit card issuers and/or other lenders. Credit limits as well as loan amounts and balances are detailed, along with payment patterns going back a few years.
- Public information. This includes bankruptcies, tax liens and monetary judgments, and, in some states, overdue child support.
- Inquiries. Included are the names of those who requested and obtained copies of your credit report.
Now not all of this information remains on your credit report permanently
Positive credit information will remain on your report indefinitely, although information about an account will fall off your report if nothing new is reported for seven years.
Negative credit information remains on your report for up to seven years after the date of the original delinquency.
The length of time for which a bankruptcy will affect your credit depends on the type of bankruptcy that you file. Chapters 7, 11 and 12 remain on your credit report for 10 years. Chapter 13 bankruptcy (under which all or part of all debts owed are repaid under a court-approved payment plan), will be deleted from your report after seven years. All other public record information is typically removed after seven years.
Inquiries are cycled off your report after one to two years, depending on the type of inquiry. There is of course some personal information that your credit report does not reveal. It doesn’t reflect information about your race, religious preference, medical history, personal lifestyle, personal background, political preference or criminal record.

How are credit scores calculated?
Credit scores are generated by inputting the data from your credit report into software that analyzes it and equates a number. The three major credit reporting agencies don’t necessarily use the same scoring software, so often the credit scores they generate for you are different.
Which parts of a credit history are most important?
The breakdown below shows the approximate value that each aspect of your credit report adds to a credit score calculation. Use these percentages as a guide:
35% – Your Payment History 30% – Amounts You Owe 15% – Length of Your Credit History 10% – Types of Credit Used 10% – New Credit
Your Payment History Includes:
- Number of accounts paid as agreed
- Negative public records or collections
- Delinquent accounts:
- total number of past due items
- how long you’ve been past due
- how long it’s been since you had a past due payment
What You Owe:
- How much you owe on accounts and the types of accounts with balances.
- How much of your revolving credit lines you’ve used (looking for red-flags you are over-extended).
- Amounts you owe on installment loan accounts vs. their original balances. (to make sure you are you paying them down consistently-which means negative ARM loans can hurt your credit).
- Number of zero balance accounts.
Length of Credit History:
- Total length of time tracked by your credit report.
- Lengths of time since accounts were opened.
- Time that’s passed since the last activity.
- The longer your good history the better your scores.
Types of Credit:
- Total number of accounts and types of accounts (installment, revolving, mortgage, etc.)
- A mixture of account types (referred to as Trade-lines) usually generates better scores than reports with only numerous revolving accounts (credit cards)
Your New Credit:
- Number of accounts you’ve recently opened and the proportion of new accounts to total accounts.
- Number of recent credit inquiries.
- The time that’s passed since recent inquiries or newly-opened accounts.
- If you’ve re-established a positive credit history after encountering payment problems.
- In general, checking to make sure you aren’t attempting to open numerous new accounts.
Credit scoring software only considers items on your credit report. Lenders typically look at other factors that aren’t included in the report; such as income, employment history and the type of credit you are seeking.
What’s a Good Credit Score?
Credit scores (usually) range from 340 to 850. The higher your score, the less risk a lender believes you will be. As your score climbs, the interest rate you are offered will probably decline. Borrowers with a credit score over 700 are typically offered more financing options and better interest rates.
Multiple Credit Scores
Your bank will pull credit reports and scores from all three major credit reporting agencies: TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. They’ll probably use the middle score (mid-score) to work your loan application. You lender will want a copy of your credit report as part of the pre-qualifying process for a mortgage; you’ll be asked to sign a form authorizing them to acquire the reports. The purpose is to see how your credit looks and to clear up any errors that might be in it.
There are three major credit-reporting agencies in the United States: Experian, Transunion, and Equifax. You may wish to order a copy of your credit report to review. Thanks to a federal law you are entitled to one free credit report from each of the main credit reporting agencies per year, though the reports are not automatically sent out.
You may go to annualcreditreport.com to access their annual credit report online for free, or you may complete the form on the back of the Annual Credit Report Request brochure, and mail it to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA, 30348-5281
TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian all allow you to review your report online free for 30 days; you will not however see your score. The reports will have different information because it’s a voluntary system, and creditors subscribe to whichever agency they prefer.
So if you want to maintain your score and understand the system, you must always protect it against identity thieves and mistaken negative reporting. In the end, maintaining your score will save thousands in interest on your home, auto, and credit cards; keeping you from being another victim of the Obamaconomy.

I note that this development is not unexpected and is in line with my prior assessment of this situation.

It appears that Russia is pressuring the United States to drop the Strike Option and has withdrawn its request for Emergency Meeting of the Security Council pending the United States Clarification of its position with regards to a strike.
By doing this Russia pressures the United States to make a decision with regards to a strike. In effect it tells the United States by it UN action, we will take the option removal of chemical weapons and destruction of chemical weapons capability off the table it you go ahead with a strike.
This puts the United States back in the position of either being an aggressor and out of touch with the rest of the world if it keeps the strike on the table or capitulating and bending to Russian will.
Syria and Russia are now playing the United States off against the world and backed us into a corner by conditioning the removal of chemical weapons and destruction of chemical weapons capability off the table if the United States continues to keep the strike option on the table.
This latest move set the stage for escalated retaliation against the United States if we go ahead by Syria and its allies. These allies will paint us as out of control killers who only want to kill Muslims and not negotiate. Such events could negatively affect the negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program which involve both Russia and China and need them and their support to rein in.
In doing so the Russian's want the United States and its leadership to lose face before the world and be humbled. Such a loss of prestige on the part of the United States could backfire however and result in the election of a more aggressive United States leadership in the next election cycle.
We shall have to see what the President says during his speech tonight.
It will indicate the path he will take us down. The Russian's are playing a game of hardball and its our turn to respond tonight.
One thing is certain is that the propaganda machines of Russia, its allies and in the Middle east will and are now churning out reams of material saying the United States is a war monger, is unwilling to engage in negotiations and is weak.
We are all ready beginning to pay a price for the position Russia has forced us into.
With the American people split with most opposed to boots on the ground, the President has some thinking to do about his speech coming up and what he is going to say.
I did a quick check of the news coming out of the groups allied with Syria, as well as Russia and the themes are, in simple terms as follows:
1. The Russian's are leading the way on a peaceful solution
2. That the United States is the main aggressor and obstacle to a diplomatic solution.
3. That a strike by the United States will result in retaliation against the United States from a variety of groups and nation states.
4. That polling of the American people shows they are against a strike and the leadership of the United States is out of sync with its people.
5. That Syria is willing to comply with the Russian proposal.
These themes have started to dominate the media feeds in Lebanon, Syria and Iran as well as Russia and China. These themes have been playing non-stop for roughly the last twenty four hours. This media blitz is attempting to steer the regional population's view on the issue against the United States and in support of the position of Syria and its allies. Over time this will have an effect on the populations and make it more difficult for us to conduct a strike without having to face a significant threat of retaliation.

Fellow Americans,
Allow me to express my opinion as to what I witnessed this past three weeks. First off, I was able to take a journey from Southern California to Milwaukee to celebrate Harley Davidsons 110th Anniversary (a true american legend of a company) and what I witnessed along the way both appalled and amazed me. The vast nature of our country lends itself to diversity beyond belief however I have found there is a common thread that runs through city to city , state to state......we all want to just live and be happy and prosperous!!!! Our resources are abundant yet Our leaders are Narrow minded, the heart of our nation is green and alive with abundance yet the District of Columbia is dark and stagnant with no pulse on the nation.., If "We the People" Stand together and demand OUR nation be properly taken care of ...... Simply by ceasing the GIVING AWAY of our homegrown resources(ie. corn , soybeans and wheat destined for international aid) we could feed and EMPLOY the bulk of the lazy humans we have right here at home... Don't get me wrong, I am not supporting any kind of a welfare state ideal but if we are going to give away what we grow at least give it away here at home!!!
Enough out of me I have to get back to work so I can feed myself and take care of my own family without having to live off the governments teet.

I have an issue with the "news" I witness on my local Fox channel..... (Fox 29/1029, San Antonio, Texas).
Mind you, I do not have an issue with the News I witness on Fox National - but the vast majority of Americans do not watch Fox National News - they watch their own local channel of Fox.
How can Americans form an opinion of what is REALLY going on in our Nation if they never see what is going on?
Yesterday, September 11th, 2013 was the anniversary of "9/11" where almost 3,000 people were murdered in cold blood by radical islamic (muslim) terrorists....
You would think that something like an organization who called themselves "The million muslim march on Washington DC on 9/11" (later called themselves "million american march against fear") would find itself on local Fox news - as this is a slap in the face to every American Citizen.... and you would think that more than a million motorcycle riders forming a "march" in protest of the "million muslim march" on 9/11, a march not only as a response to the muslim march but a tribute to 9/11 and the murders in Benghazi would make news.... Yet Americans heard absolutely NOTHING!
Yesterday History was made - yet nothing to be heard on a local Fox channel..... (or any other channel for that matter)
What kind of "reporting" is that?
I say again: How can Americans form a viewpoint or understand just how badly they are being played by main-stream-media and our government.... when the only network news (Fox) that is actually reporting on a National scale - doesn't require their local channels to report the REAL news.... and people believe what they (do not) see.
If the Network (Fox) cannot require integrity in reporting the news from their local channels - what point is there to watching ANY network news at all?
Perhaps as a Tea Party Command Center member I should suggest - as a group - we start a boycott of all television news channels for lack of integrity....

Sadly, the statists in Washington, D.C. keep choosing to take away more and more of our liberties for some bureaucrat's vision of so-called "safety."
In today's world, "security" really means handing over the last bits of freedom to Big Government's prying eyes.
Not long ago, the Senate Armed Services Committee called for drones returning from Afghanistan to be used "freely and routinely" in U.S. airspace.
Government agencies are training drones by tracking civilian cars over American cities.
Law enforcement agencies are buying them up by the dozen – happy to let the spying begin.
The Congressional Research Service states domestic drones could be equipped "with facial recognition or soft biometric recognition, which can recognize and track individuals based on attributes such as height, age, gender, and skin color."
If you and I don’t stand up to this nonsense, more than 30,000 are expected to be flying across the United States in the near future.
So please sign our Citizens Stand for Individual Liberty petition to let Congress know you oppose their theft of your rights.
This isn't something out of George Orwell's 1984. It's America in 2013.
And it's all designed so politicians can line the pockets of their crony capitalist pals – while you and I pay the price with our tax dollars and our freedom.
I'm not telling you all this to dishearten you – although I understand it may be discouraging to look the facts straight in the face.
I'm telling you this because these are the battles you and I can't ignore if we are going to maintain our last vestiges of freedom as Americans – and regain what we've lost.
After all, in recent years, we've witnessed the passage of the so-called "Patriot" Act, which allows the government to wiretap and spy on American citizens.
We've seen the passage of the NDAA - allowing the government to lock up and detain American citizens indefinitely without so much as a warrant.
And we see the TSA routinely groping elderly women and children at airports.
Ten years after its creation, a congressional report was issued saying the TSA was "bloated and ineffective."
More than 25,000 security breaches have occurred under its watch.
And just when you thought flying couldn’t possibly get worse, TSA employees are now unionized under the American Federation of Government Employees union, and affiliate of the AFL-CIO.
In other words, that creepy TSA agent that almost seemed to enjoy feeling up you and your child will now be virtually impossible to fire for inappropriate behavior.
From now on, security and passenger rights will play a secondary role to the union bosses' demands for "screener's rights."
Our liberties are being stolen from us daily – and for NOTHING.
