OK, my fellow American warriors, Christian brothers and sisters and everybody who loves this great nation under God, indivisible and ready to fight back against the enemy within and the foreign. This word is for you:

The French helped liberating their nation from the oppressive, diabolic enemy with what they called “La Résistance”. These were men, women and children who fought back from cloaks, basements, trees, bushes, etc. They knew they could die, but that was more dignifying than living in slavery.  I had the opportunity to visit some of La Résistance sites and I could see the bullet holes and the plaques naming the heroes, the event that took place and the date.

Why I say this? Our war should be fought from our little trenches: Our homes, our blocks, our neighborhoods, our local schools, our churches, our local stores and our local media. We have to fight against the people who hate us, who hate our principles, who hate our country. We know who they are; we just to have to go after them by exposing them, by stopping the patronage of their businesses, by saturating them with e-mails and calls for supporting the ANTI-AMERICAN, COMMUNIST agenda, etc.

• For example, the NYT published a list of law abiding American citizens and portrayed them as bad people. The course of our action should be to publish the list of NYT advertisers including all those who post classified ads and to let those businesses know that they need to condemn the papers actions and threaten to pull their ads if the paper does not retract and apologize, or we, the American consumers will stop buying their goods and services
• At the local level, we HAVE TO stop hiring illegals to do our domestic chores!!! Let’s hire our high school American kid neighbor instead or let’s do it ourselves!! Let’s make that our number one new year’s resolution. We have to take responsibility for our country starting by cleaning our own house
• Businesses like Hobby Lobby and Chic-Fil-A need our special support. Let’s not shop or dine at places that hire those who hate us and let them know why. Is that racist? Well, who started it?
• Our schools are particularly important because of the leftist indoctrination:  Let’s volunteer as classroom mom, coaching assistant, library help, reading club, school bus help, etc. Let’s INFILTRATE TO DEFEND AND PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!!!

I will give you 2 examples:

My daughter, white and of Mexican ethnicity, was being harassed and bullied by two black students on the school bus when she was in 9^th grade. They, the black girls, were throwing things at her and one of them pulled her hair. My daughter, a Tae Kwan Do brown belt at the time, fought back and hit one of the girls. Guess who got in trouble as the bus driver was black? My baby. Fortunately, the other students backed my daughter and all went to rest. Nothing was done to the black girls.

One day I was driving around my house when I saw a group of Mexican kids getting off their school bus chasing a younger and smaller white kid. There were eight or ten of them, bigger and older. They surrounded the white kid and the biggest Mexican kid started beating him while the others watched and cheered: I went to protect the white kid and walked with him to safety while the Mexicans took off running. The white kid was bleeding but told me he just wanted to go home. The bus driver, who was also white, yelled at me to hold the kid. She was defending the Mexicans. I let the kid go and she threatened to call the cops on me and called me a “jackass” for helping the white kid. Make your own conclusions.

Also, we have to continue the fight against the Bilingual Education Programs by communicating with the School districts, State Representatives and Senators and school board members!!!

• In our neighborhoods, let’s use the newsletters and bulletin boards to expose, communicate and promote our war, for example: good businesses that advertise in local media should include statements like: “We only hire workers legally authorized to work in the USA”, or “We use only American produced materials”, or “We are a Christian organization”, or “Yes, we built it”. And, please, avoid ridicule statements like: “Se habla Español”. Haven’t you noticed that the Hispanic yard workers or contractors do not advertise in Spanish on their trucks?
• Some of our local Guns and Ammo stores have offered free or discounted CHL classes for teachers. Every American warrior should own lethal force protection and the ones who are ready to carry should have their CHL.
• In our churches: Pastors are so afraid of “losing” their tax exempt status, that they have sold their souls by being “careful” not to talk about politics. What they don’t know is that the enemy is using the attack to our moral principles and values as political talk, so we can’t even mention it. Let’s hold our pastors accountable and remind them that Jesus Christ was not politically correct when He called His enemies by their names and sin by its name. Also, let’s volunteer more in our churches by expanding or starting after school and adopt-a-school programs.
• Gasoline: Let’s buy only where you see American attendants and let them know that we appreciate the fact that Americans are taking care of American businesses.
•  Let’s remember: boycotts don’t always work, but support and patronage of the good people works!
• In our block: we know who posted yard signs supporting the enemy.  Let’s talk to those neighbors, invite them to church, help them transform their minds and come back to their senses, in love.

As we can see, we can fight and win our war without leaving our zip code.

The groundbreaking new film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Les Misérables" features desperate people suffering under soul-shattering unemployment, naive university students decrying the rich and stoking the flames of socialist revolution, an unyielding government official interested not in right and wrong but in following his government's rules, and one heroic individual who follows his faith in God to guide him from one success to another–all the while truly helping others by using his own private wealth rather than through the ineffective and neglectful government.  

In short, it is the perfect allegory for Americans living in the Age of Obama.  

In 1987, when "Les Miz" opened in New York, many liberal columnists and critics tried desperately to make a connection between the 19th century Victor Hugo story and Ronald Reagan's America. The best they could do was show pictures of homeless people in New York and juxtapose them with the desperate characters in the play who live on the streets of Paris. The comparisons never held water in a macro way, considering that Americans in the late 1980s enjoyed prosperity across most economic classes. Now that the film is premiering in Barack Obama's America, it's remarkable how the comparisons are much more appropriate.  

The most important thing for a filmgoer to understand when viewing "Les Miz" is to realize that Jean Valjean and only Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) is the hero of this story. Do not get fooled by the heroic depiction of the mindlessly earnest students screaming for revolution and building barricades in the streets as a futile attempt to rally the people of France to their side. Watch Valjean's reaction to them as they choose to face certain annihilation as a symbolic gesture. Watch how he values life over their depraved narcissism and ends up making a real difference, not a symbolic one.  

The students' cries for justice and freedom are not completely lost on a conservative viewer, however. They are protesting an out of touch and bloated federal government that is unresponsive to the people's wishes and uninterested in hearing any dissent from the rabble. Replace those red flags with Gadsen flags and you can see some important parallels in the struggle. But once they take to the streets and build junk-heap barricades, they end up just as selfish, ineffective, and destructive as the Occupy protesters, and they get the end-game they deserve.

In Obama's America, the government has all the answers, the people are pitted against the "wealthy," and a sense of hopeless doom permeates daily life. So many Americans feel like the best days of our nation are behind us, and Obama has begun the slow and inevitable decline of our society with taxation crippling the successful producers and multitudes enjoying government handouts with a sense of entitlement and even contempt for those who provide the tax money to pay for them.  

It is in this spirit that one should view "Les Miserables" and draw a very important lesson. Jean Valjean begins at the lowest possible place a person can be. He is a desperate, angry criminal willing to let his rage at society destroy him. Instead, after being touched by faith in God, he brings himself up from the gutter and becomes wildly successful. He is constantly driven by his responsibility to his fellow man, his workers who relied on him, and his determination to right wrongs and seek justice--not through government action but by his own efforts. And over the decades, he continues to succeed and help those around him while the government prattles on, making things worse and never able to do anything effective at all.

Jean Valjean should be a model for all of us. It is too easy to be downhearted and angry over the direction in which our leaders are taking us. But we conservatives are not the ones who threaten to leave the country if an election doesn't go our way. We don't throw up our hands in surrender because our guy didn't win. If we stake everything in a four-year election cycle, we are doing it all wrong. We need to focus on our lives, our faith, and our families. We need to do whatever we can to provide for those around us. We need to do for our society what our government is incapable of doing. Through that model we will practice the conservative ideal we preach and the country will come along with us.  

Even the hardest of hearts will soften to our side ... one Inspector Javert at a time.

And so the government takeover of our health care system begins:

Walmart, the nation’s largest private employer, plans to begin denying health insurance to newly hired employees who work fewer than 30 hours a week, according to a copy of the company’s policy obtained by The Huffington Post. …

Walmart declined to disclose how many of its roughly 1.4 million U.S. workers are vulnerable to losing medical insurance under its new policy. …

Labor and health care experts portrayed Walmart’s decision to exclude workers from its medical plans as an attempt to limit costs while taking advantage of the national health care reform known as Obamacare. Among the key features of Obamacare is an expansion of Medicaid, the taxpayer-financed health insurance program for poor people. Many of the Walmart workers who might be dropped from the company’s health care plans earn so little that they would qualify for the expanded Medicaid program, these experts said.

By making the fine for not providing health care cheaper than providing health care, this was always the plan: to encourage employers to send us to the government.

Remember how Obama's big ObamaCare sell was, "You get to keep the health insurance you have"?

It was all a lie, a hustle, a con, a ruse…

Will South Carolina Nullify Federal Gun Laws?

The South Carolina legislature will consider a bill that would nullify a considerable amount of assumed federal power over firearms – the Firearms Freedom Act.


Senate Bill 85 (SB85) states that, “A personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in South Carolina and that remains within the borders of South Carolina is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of Congress to regulate interstate commerce.”

The bill was filed by Sen. Lee Bright (R-Spartanburg) on Dec. 13

The bill rests on the foundation of the Tenth Amendment, correctly asserting that powers not delegated are retained.

“Whereas, the tenth amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees and reserves for the states all powers not granted to the federal government in the Constitution”

Whereas, Article I, Section 20 of the South Carolina Constitution clearly secures to South Carolina citizens, and prohibits government interference with, the right of individual South Carolina citizens to keep and bear arms. This constitutional protection is unchanged from the 1895 South Carolina Constitution, which was approved by Congress and the people of South Carolina, and the right exists as it was understood at the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by South Carolina and the United States in 1895.

“The federal power to regulate interstate commerce is probably the one most abused by the feds. They’ve stretched it to the point that they justify regulating pretty much everything. The framers never intended the power to extend to every imaginable economic activity.”

Tenth Amendment Center communications director Mike Maharrey said. “States need to stand up to the feds and tell them to butt out of areas where they have no authority. I hope the Kansas legislature  gets this bill passed, and other states will boldly follow its example.”
With Montana leading the way, eight states have passed firearms freedom acts including, Alaska, South Dakota, Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee, Utah and Wyoming.

Following is a white paper that tea party members and leaders can use to hone their organizational and leadership skills.  I hope you find it helpful.

Executive and management skills are often viewed exclusively as talents, things that some people just do naturally.  But they are skills and anyone can increase their abilities to lead, manage and produce with a little effort.  All organizational and individual efforts require 3 fundamental orientations, or viewpoints from which to view and engage the activity to a successful result.  The skill with which one is able to apply these approaches to any endeavor determines your level of success.  You use these tools well in all areas where you are very successful, and not so well in areas where you are frustrated.

You can use this logic model to evaluate and improve your performance in any area of life and to provide guidance and leadership to others.

Three Fundamental Orientations

–        Task Oriented: A task is an action or series of actions.  It is production.  Workers are most comfortable with this work style, from assembly workers, to mechanics to pilots and doctors.  People who like to “do” things.

–        Process Oriented:  A process is the methodology of production; it is coordinating and managing resources as well as directing the flow of production, the way things are produced.  Managers are most comfortable with process oriented work.

–        Results Oriented:  A result is the end product of tasks executed to completion via an organized methodology.  It is identifying and naming the goals and establishing the vision.  Executives are most comfortable with results oriented work.

Orientation and Organization Analysis

Whenever an organization is experiencing frustration, discord, inefficiency or excessive emergencies, look for an imbalance in these three factors, and it will lead you to the source of the problem and help identify the solution to help increase efficiency, morale and results.

–        While most jobs are dominated by one of the 3 orientations, every job encompasses components of all three orientations.  Excellence requires the ability to use all 3 appropriately.

–        Most people have a favorite work orientation, with which they are most comfortable, but everyone can increase their ability to apply any of the 3 orientations to a given situation.  It is really just a point of view and anyone can change their point of view.

–        Using judgment and your existing expertise, you can use this analytic logic model to identify and improve any organizational sphere, from a single job to a large multi-group organization.

Some General Guidelines

New or young organizations tend to be weak in Executive and Management areas of Results and Process Orientations.  It is critical for the group to adopt and broadly publish vision and mission statements to identify the Results desired.  Next, it will be necessary to develop programs and processes.  Many tea parties have members who have considerable executive or management skills, but who do not have sufficient time to engage in a leadership role.  Work to identify those individuals and see if they can provide consulting advice and guidance to the leaders.  Always assess the skills of your membership and make every effort to help members find a role within the organization for which they are well suited.  People always prefer to do things that they do well, and are much more willing to participate in activities outside their zone of comfort if they are also utilized in areas where they are already strong.   You wouldn't use a sports car to move furniture, nor would you enter a moving van in a drag race.

More mature organizations can tend to get process heavy where people are changing too much for the sake of change.  Very mature organizations can lose sight of the vision, or once the initial vision is fulfilled to fail to generate a new vision and goal that builds on previous success.  The best example of this is the civil rights movement which has fallen so far as to start creating false civil rights violations to protest, and degenerated into race baiters from a once noble endeavor.

Examples of Misapplied Orientation

–        Worker responding to request with obstacles and reasons why it can’t be done:  Results orientation when task orientation is needed.  The worker wants the answers to the issues it is his job to address, but is delegating up, asking the supervisor to do his work.

–        Manager responding to request for necessary resources with demand for completion.  Results orientation when process orientation is needed.  If the worker does not have sufficient material, resources or authority to complete a task, it is the manager’s job to allocate the appropriate resources.

–        Manager practicing micro-management:  Task oriented when process orientation is needed.  The manager is only addressing the tasks, rather than assigning resources and directing overall process.

–        Executive engaging in debate over how a project should be executed:  Process orientation instead of results orientation.  The executive is doing the manager’s job instead of rejecting a proposal which is not defined clearly enough for an approval or rejection.

–        Worker delaying production until it can be perfected to an unrealistic or unnecessary level.  Process oriented when task orientation is needed.  Sometimes, the job just needs to be done.  The correct solution is to do the job and submit a report on problems with a recommendation for process improvement.

How Can I use this Information to become more effective

The best way to drill this information is to start with processes and tasks with which you are very familiar.  Select anything at which you are already very expert and break it down into Results (vision), Process (methodology) and Tasks (individual steps).

Make a cup of coffee:

Executive:  Vision of a steaming cup of hot coffee and the executive decision to obtain one.

Manager:  Ensure the necessary materials and supplies are available.

Task:  Prepare the coffee.

If you ask someone who is totally task oriented to get a cup of coffee, you might not get one.

If they only know the Corey coffee maker they can only get a cup of coffee if you have the equipment they are already familiar with.

A person who is totally task oriented will do the following:

1. Put the coffee pack into the coffee maker drip container.
2. Pour cold water into the water cavity of the coffee maker.
3. Put a cup or pot onto the hotplate beneath the drip container.
4. Push the Start button.

Someone who is totally task oriented and does not understand the process will be unable to make coffee if he/she doesn’t have one of the familiar tools, coffee maker, coffee pack, electricity.  But someone who truly understands what it takes to make a good cup of coffee will not be stopped by a lack of materials.

Some things are essential.  In order to make a good cup of coffee, you need coffee grounds, water, a fireproof container and sufficient heat to boil the water, a means of filtering out the grounds.

You can boil water in a pan, pour in the grounds and let it steep then filter it through a loose weave cloth into a cup or pot.  And, you can do this with a camp fire and a pan, or you can get an espresso maker and go all high tech.

And someone who is really stumped with missing resources/supplies or broken equipment, will simply  get in the car and drive to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks or 7/11 and buy a cup.

There are a lot of ways to solve the problem, and the better versed a person is in the nature of coffee and availability of materials and resources, the greater the certainty that he will actually obtain the result.

In the areas where you are highly expert, you shift from Results Oriented, to Process Oriented to Task Oriented fluidly as necessary, without even thinking about it.  It has become second nature.  To learn these orientations, for 1-2 weeks, stop what you are doing 5-6 times a day and identify which orientation you are using at any given time.

Following are a set of drills to work on for 2 weeks each.  The assumption is that you will not be focusing your attention on this for more than a few minutes a few times a day.  A little attention a few times a day over a period of weeks will give you far more skill than drilling it intensively examining everything that you do against this logic.  Over-analysis of your own behavior will have you second guessing yourself and undermine the very skills and abilities the drill is supposed to enhance.

Week 1-2

Applying this logic to areas where you are already expert, will increase your ability with the subject matter.  You should feel confident that you can always identify which work orientation you are using at any given time.

Determine which orientation you enjoy the most.  Start paying attention to opportunities to utilize the orientations you don’t like as much.  The more familiar and comfortable you are with all 3, the more effective you will become at any endeavor.

Week 3-4

Start observing others’ activities and behavior.  What orientation are they employing in their various activities? Before you can even consider identifying which orientation they should use, you must first become proficient in identifying which IS being used.

Again, do not over apply this information lest you become hyper-critical.  Everyone is doing their best most of the time.  You are observing periodically throughout the day not constantly.  The idea is to develop a skill, not a habit.

Week 5-6

Start paying specific attention to problem areas and identify which orientation is being used, and which would solve the problem.  Now you can start troubleshooting activities based on this information.

When people tell you their problems, start applying this logic.  Is there a vision or an end result?  Does the person know what the result would look like if the problem were solved?  Has the person identified the proper resources and materials to achieve the result?  What needs to actually happen to produce the result?

If nothing else, using this methodology for problem solving will enable you to rapidly identify the person who revels in his/her unsolvable problems.  As you start breaking it down with the appropriate questions, the person who is savoring and enjoying their problem will start to obstruct and refuse to participate in identifying the solution.  You can breathe a sigh of relief…this is not a person in distress who needs your aid.  This is a person who uses problems to get attention or to delegate their personal responsibility to you, or society, etc.  You don’t have to worry about them, they are already in 7^th heaven, and you can go about your more productive business with a clear conscience and light heart.

Americans never give up your guns

These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to . Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere....but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

Howdy all!  I MISS YOU!!  I’ve been so busy, and at times lazy, true.  The last time I wrote to you was December 2.  Well, I am still the guy who you might remember.  At least I think I am.  Probably am.  I guess I should do this more to help me remember something.  Any guesses what that is?  Well, if I go too long please forgive me.

Today is the end of a very hectic year; highs, lows, successes and tragedies.  Sometimes I read a news article that pops up on my screen and I just want to cry, or shout out loud.  Sometimes I jump for joy, and yes, sometimes I yell out “it’s about darn time they got what’s coming!”  But none of it helps.  Because it’s just me saying.  So, what really matters?  To me, I can say family, friends, fiscal freedom, etc.  But it truly lies in three things.  Sorry I wasn’t going to say God, Family and Friends.  Well they are part of it, but they are captured in these three things – Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Sound familiar?  Remember these three things?  Those who said the words first were willing to give of their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.  They were willing to give everything for us.  Yes, us.  We are their legacy.  We are their descendants.  Because of them, we are Americans.  We have the life of free men and women.  We have the ability to strive for our own successes, AND failures.  And above all, we are Americans; US citizens. 

These things also carry a great burden.  We must ensure that what the founders gave us is preserved for those who are to be our American descendants.  The most important part of our preservation comes in the manner we have for protection - the second amendment.  To take away the Constitution, the way of life we have and to transform it into something else, the right to bear arms must be ended.  This is an historical fact, proven time and time again.  So, what is the argument against guns?  They can cause serious bodily harm, and even death.  But do they do it themselves?  Obviously not, guns don’t go off on their own.  Even if there is a discharge from a weapon too close to heat, a person put it there to allow it to self-discharge.  The founders knew from their own personal experiences, and their pledge in the Declaration of Independence that they needed to protect what was to be preserved.  We need to protect what is to be preserved.  Not only the nation, but our lives our fortunes and our sacred honor need to be preserved, and therefore protected. 

Horror is horrible.  Loss of life is horrible, especially when innocent children are lost.  Worse, the innocent children who witnessed the loss of their friends will have to suffer the visual memory.  It is horrible, and something needs to change.  But what to change?  Guns?  Assault weapons?  Hmm, ok, why guns?  Is there anyone out there who truly believes that if a ban or restriction on any type of gun is set in motion, that the evil people who wish to do horror will obey it?  What is the definition of an assault weapon?  Does anyone know?  I have what I believe is the closest to correct.  An assault weapon is that weapon which is used to assault.  And what is the definition of assault?  It is the threat of violence towards another.  So, an assault weapon is that weapon of any type that is used to threaten another with violence.  Can a gun be used for that horror?  Sure.  Would it be any less horrible if the same people are killed with a knife?  How about a high speed car?  Sarin gas?  Timothy McVeigh used fertilizer and diesel.  Jeffrey Dahmer ate his victims.  Cain had no gun when he killed Abel.  9/11/01 was not perpetrated by guns.  These were evil people.  EVIL PEOPLE.  And what about those innocents killed in a school in China, by a person with a knife?  Do we do what has been proposed in England?  Ban all long, sharp pointed kitchen knives?  Even today, New Year’s Eve, we hear of someone who potentially wanted to kill, and without a gun!  A pregnant 27 year old woman, and her 31 year old boyfriend were arrested in NYC with explosive materials and papers titled “The Terrorist Encyclopedia”.  And the guy is a Harvard graduate and an OWS idiot!  Guns?  GUNS??  Should we also get rid of knives?  Let’s also get rid of Harvard Graduates.

Emotions will always run very high when a tragedy occurs.  It is then, that knee jerk reaction becomes the ‘fix’.  They never work as intended.  They are Band-Aids on a broken arm.

I don’t want to pontificate, (even if I am a little).  There is a reason why these things are happening.  It is not the presence of guns.  These people who commit horror needs to be stopped.  And they need to be stopped BEFORE THEY ACT.  The focus must be on the people who would act.  If you focus on the guns, these people of horror will watch the guns be turned in while they get a knife, a car, some diesel and fertilizer, or whatever they can get their hands on –LEGALLY OR NOT- to commit their horror.  Don’t buy the headlight when the transmission is broken.  We need to protect what we wish to preserve.  And we need to stem the horror.  But we don’t need to make these mutually exclusive.

The American people that really care about this country and are fed up with this governments, slop-a-long crap of their job performance and think it is time for us to make the change. All Obama can talk about is, " time for real change". It sure is time for change ""OH GREAT AND POWERFUL NON LEADER OBAMA"" time for you and yours to go. To the people of the United States of America, it is time to stop putting up with all the crap that all these politicians in Washington DC are doing. Getting pay checks of nearly $200,000.00 a year or more, under the table pay raises and with the crappest job performance in the countries history, $4,000,000.00 vacations to Hawai while our country is bankrupt, no jobs and falling off the cliff. Government agencies having big houndreds of thousands of dollars in parties with hookers and everything else on our hard earned tax dollar. And all they have on their minds are how they can figure to flim flam more money out of all of us so that they can party and take lavish vacations some more and throw it away. And have no idea of how to create jobs for all the unemployed and don't care if you are working or not. just squeeze more money from the ones that are working or have made good. And I do mean that is everyone of them in Washington DC, White House, Senate and Congress. If any one of us showed up on our jobs, that is those lucky enough to have a job, and performed that day how these politicians do, what would happen? I'll tell you, we would be fired and ran off before lunch break. Now I say it is time to fire each and everyone of these low down, nonperforming politicians, take away their lavish paychecks and lifestyle and let them see how poor people have to rake and scrape everyday. It's time for all of us that care about our country to form together in a show of force, hundreds of thousands strong all at the same time and date. And with pink slips in hand, march on Washington DC, the White House, Congress, and the Senate and fire them all. We would be better off with nobody there at all, than what we do have. All they do is lie to us, steal tax dollars from us, beg and try to get more from us to party on, vacation on and the best way to buy and steal votes all year long for re-election is to give the dead beats that won't work a free lifestyle. Free housing, free food, free healthcare, free education, free daycare and on and on and promise it to continue if they are re-elected. And I know some people really, and I mean really do need these benefits. The above statement does not include these people. Only the dead beats that is riding the free government hand out train to death. And people don't have sense enough to know that is why this country is in the mess it is in today. Obama Robinhood should be proud, taking from the workers and giving to the nonworkers. Distribute your wealth. And we have got the wellfare, foodstamp president of the history of our great nation, shoveling the fuel to that trains engine. Time to stop talking about it and complaining and whinning because that is not doing any good. Because they don't care in Washington. They have plenty of food, anything they want to eat, Sleeping in a big climate control mansion and in a lifestyle of luxury. Long as they can lie to you enough when it's time to get your vote for another term, then, to hell with you until the next election. Time to show in force, in body and in numbers in Washington DC and picket, march and stay there until they all are fired or resign. Army Course Manual Trains Soldiers to Confiscate Constitutionally-protected Firearms

In addition to revealing how the federal government and the Pentagon will respond to civil disturbances – in violation of the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act – the United States Army Military Police School’s Civil Disturbance Operations document instructs the military to confiscate weapons from American citizens.

Earlier today, Paul Joseph Watson examined how the military will be used to “quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.” The military course document outlines how military assets will be used to “help local and state authorities to restore and maintain law and order” in the event of mass riots, civil unrest or a declaration of martial law.

The document instructs soldiers to deny Americans – specifically, “rioters” and “dissidents” – the right to exercise the Second Amendment during a government declared “civil disturbance”:

A main consideration in the conduct of civil disturbance operations is to prevent liquor, drugs,weapons, and ammunition from falling into the hands of rioters. Therefore, liquor stores, drug stores, sporting good shops, pawn shops, and hardware stores are main targets for looters and must be kept under close observation by means of foot and motorized patrols. Normally, businesses of this type must be identified in advance and included in emergency plans. (Emphasis added.)

Moreover, the document instructs soldiers to protect “control force personnel and civilian dignitaries in the disturbed area” from the violent behavior of “radical or extremist elements” by denying access to “armories, arsenals, hardware, and sporting good stores, pawnshops, and gunsmith establishments, or other places where weapons or ammunition are stored. To conserve manpower, consideration may be given to evacuating sensitive items, such as weapons from stores and storing them in a central facility.”

In other words, during martial law or a government declared civil disturbance in reaction to “radical or extremist elements,” guns will be confiscated and held by the military.

In 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Police, National Guard troops, and U.S. Marshals confiscated firearms. “Guns will be taken. Only law enforcement will be allowed to have guns,” New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass declared as he prepared to violate the Second Amendment. The National Guard conducted warrantless house-to-house searches in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Katrina served as a beta test and was codified in course material the following year by the Pentagon and published in Civil Disturbance Operations document (released in April of 2006). The instructional document, however, does not use a natural disaster as a premise to confiscate constitutionally-protected firearms, but rather “civil disturbance planning” as did earlier documents under Operation Garden Plot, otherwise known as United States Civil Disturbance Plan 55-2.

Army Manual Outlines Plan To Kill Rioters, Demonstrators In America

A newly leaked US Army Military Police training manual for “Civil Disturbance Operations” outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.

The document (PDF), which is dated 2006 and was used for a self-learning course at the U.S. Army Military Police School at Fort McClellan, makes it clear that the operations described in the manual apply to both “CONUS and OCONUS,” meaning inside the Continental United States and outside the Continental United States.

The document outlines how military assets will be used to “help local and state authorities to restore and maintain law and order” in the event of mass riots, civil unrest or a declaration of martial law.

The primary function of military assets will be focused around, “breaking up unauthorized gatherings and by patrolling the disturbance area to prevent the commission of lawless acts,” states the document, adding, “during operations to restore order, military forces may present a show of force, establish roadblocks, break up crowds, employ crowd control agents, patrol, serve as security forces or reserves, and perform other operations as required.”

The manual also describes how prisoners will be processed through temporary internment camps under the guidance of U.S. Army FM 3-19.40 Internment/Resettlement Operations, which as we reported earlier this year, outlines how internees would be “re-educated” into developing an “appreciation of U.S. policies” while detained in prison camps inside the United States.

On page 20 of the manual, rules regarding the use of “deadly force” in confronting “dissidents” are made disturbingly clear with the directive that a, “Warning shot will not be fired.”

The manual includes lists of weapons to be used against “rioters” or “demonstrators,” including “antiriot grenades.” It also advises troops to carry their guns in the “safe port arms” stance, a psychological tactic aimed at “making a show of force before rioters.” Non-lethal weapons and water cannons are also included.

The document also explains how the military will be involved in spying on and gathering information on dissidents to identify the, “Existence of persons, groups, or organizations which have distinctively threatened or are creating disturbances.”

“Crowd control agents” will also be deployed for the purpose of “reducing resistance,” states the manual, which also implies that troops will be used to confiscate firearms.

“Restrictions on the sale, transfer, and possession of sensitive material such as gasoline, firearms, ammunition, and explosives will help control forces in minimizing certain forms of violence,” states the document on page 40.

“Consideration may be given to evacuating sensitive items, such as weapons from stores,” the manual also states on page 27

The document emphasizes how troops should make every effort, “to avoid appearing as an alien invading force and to present the image of a restrained and well-disciplined force whose sole purpose is to help to restore law and order with a minimum loss of life and property.”

This 115 page manual represents a shocking new insight into how the U.S. military will be used domestically to violently quell unrest in the aftermath of a total economic collapse or other national emergency.

Preparations for using troops to deal with mass civil unrest on U.S. soil have been in the works for years.

Back in 2008, U.S. troops returning from Iraq were earmarked for “homeland patrols” with one of their roles including helping with “civil unrest and crowd control”.

In December 2008, the Washington Post reported on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011 onwards, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.

A report produced that same year by the U.S. Army War College’s Strategic Institute warned that the United States may experience massive civil unrest in the wake of a series of crises which it termed “strategic shock.”

“Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” stated the report, authored by [Ret.] Lt. Col. Nathan Freir, adding that the military may be needed to quell “purposeful domestic resistance”.

Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, was established under the pretext of a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossing the Mexican/US border.

During the Iran-Contra hearings in 1987, however, it was revealed that the program was a secretive “scenario and drill” developed by the federal government to suspend the Constitution, declare martial law, assign military commanders to take over state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens determined by the government to be “national security threats.”

With many Americans now becoming “pre-revolutionary” as a result of their fury at the Obama administration and equally unpopular lawmakers in Washington, potential civil unrest could spring not just from a poverty-stricken underclass, but also the shrinking middle class.

Perhaps that’s why the Department of Homeland Security is increasingly focusing its anti-terror apparatus on white middle class Americans, portraying them as domestic terrorists in a series of PSA videos. In addition, ‘Occupy’ protesters are also now being characterized as terrorists.

In the first half, activist, webmaster, and talk show host Michael Rivero joined John B. Wells for a conversation about how the U.S. government manipulates information to generate support for military conflicts and the financial factors fueling these wars. "We're fed this constant diet, by government and corporate media, basically telling us what will get us to do what they want us to do," he observed. However, Rivero pointed to the barrage of media reports concerning WMDs in Iraq, which convinced many Americans to support the war, as a potential watershed moment, since it exposed this manipulation on a grand scale.

The driving force behind these "military adventures," Rivero said, is a desperate attempt by the banking cartel to maintain the dollar as the world's reserve currency. To that end, he noted that both Iraq and Libya tried to stop using the dollar which led to the subsequent US invasions of those countries. Chillingly, Rivero warned that China and Russia are "digging their heels in" and seem poised to introduce their own international currencies which would challenge the dollar. As a result, he lamented, "we face the real risk of a nuclear war to prop up this paper dollar." Even if such a conflict can be avoided, Rivero suggested that, ultimately, the US government could "collapse from within" under the weight of financial mismanagement much like the Soviet Union.

There is no evidence Congress is good at spending your money.

So the last thing we should do is hand over three years' worth of spending authority disguised as Hurricane Sandy relief.

Why don't we authorize one year at a time with functional oversight and make sure the relief money is not being wasted or abused?

Why don't we offset the costs of the relief package with spending cuts to prevent adding another $60 billion to our national debt?

I have proposed offsetting hurricane relief costs by ending $9 billion worth of foreign aid that ends up in the private accounts of dictators who oppress their own people and burn our flag.

My amendment to the hurricane relief package would've required Congress offset the relief costs with spending cuts one year at a time.

The problem is that so-called conservatives in the Senate refuse to stand up for what's right and voted against fiscal responsibility.

They continue to put their own wants before the needs of this great nation.

Despite the defeat of my amendment, I vow to keep fighting this battle because America's future is worth fighting for.

We will never climb out from under our crippling $16 trillion debt with abusive spending like this.

P.S. Congress is planning to spend another $60 billion on pet projects disguised as Hurricane Sandy relief spending.

And so-called conservatives refuse to offset the hurricane relief costs with spending cuts.

The Congressional Budget Office predicted 10 years ago that the U.S. national debt in 2012 would be approximately 7.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), a measurement of the value of a nation’s total output of goods and services.

However, two wars, a recession, economic downturns, and unchecked government spending have changed things significantly. Quite simply, U.S. debt as a percentage of GDP is much, much more than 7.4 percent.

Here’s the CBO’s 10-year budget forecast from 2002 (courtesy AEI’s James Pethokoukis):

And here’s what actually happened:

“Instead of publicly-held debt as a share of GDP being a microscopic 7.4% this year, it was closer to 74% – or 72.8% to be specific (as of the August update from the CBO),” Pethokoukis explains.

Yes, our national debt as a share of GDP is approximately 74 percent. This is absolutely unsustainable.

“In 2007 — the Great Recession is officially dated as starting in December of that year — the debt-GDP ratio was 37%,” Pethokoukis adds. “So a doubling of debt due to the Great Slump — the recession and its slow-growth aftermath.”
