Today we mark another somber anniversary of one of America's darkest days.
The President has offered a mostly appropriate and commiserating eulogy, but has, once
again, omitted any mention of the word "God," or the idea of God, or of religion at all.
This transforming, forward, progressive regime set out quite specifically and purposefully
to govern us Americans without the aid, or even thought or mention, of God, or any divine
entity. This has pleased, of course, the dour, perpetually whining, hyper-sensitive types
who not only cavil, but who go apoplectic at any reference to the God of our Fathers, in
whose name this nation was miraculously and bravely founded.
In ludicrous irony, could the Obama/Soros/Far left axis possibly illustrate the utter and abject
failure of "going it alone" better or more starkly than they have in the past four years? By proclaiming
to the world that this nation is no longer a Judeo-Christian nation, could they be more explicit in
highlighting and underlining Alexis deToqueville's assertion that "America is great because America
is good?" Mr. Obama & Co. have shown us, and the world, that the converse is also true, that overt
evil, which socialism and tyranny absolutely are, lead to ruin, and the antithesis of "good," is weakness, debility,
and ultimate bankruptcy, both fiscally and morally.
In the brand of government Mr. Obama and his irreligious, over-educated and under-experienced, elite czars
represent, the State IS god, and there can be no competition; no other god need apply.
In the twentieth century, this literally vacuous experiment was done to death to the tune of
ca. 100,000,000 dead. If America is to save itself from calamitous and imminent demise,
this crowd has got to go.

The issues on the Democratic Party's Platform are very important. Important, not because the platform actually binds a president to do those things, but because the president, as the leader of his/her party and, as such, supports the majority of his/her party's issues. Remember the old adage: "Birds of a feather flock together".
Secularism, moral relativism, and a large federal government with centralized control, are all basic tenets of the progressive movement. Knowing their ideals were too radical for most Americans of the early 20th century, they began making in roads in education and politics. The progressives took many years to educate generations of voters and insidiously take over the Democratic party giving them a national stage to promote their ideas and elect their candidates. Like boiling a frog, they didn't throw him into the hot water all at once; they put him in cool water and gradually raised the heat. Traditional Democrats were gradually overcome by those new progressives that were educated in their ideas of liberalism, big centralized government, and moral relativism. It's a "feel good" party.
Many folks, myself, my friends and family included, had historically been "traditional Democrats". (I left when Reagan came along and confirmed what I had already realized: "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me"). Unfortunately, the "Progressives" have gradually chipped away all of the traditional Democratic party values and now have replaced them with their "feel good", "reasonable", emotion driven rhetoric which they only intend to use to manipulate their party loyalists into supporting a very radical hidden agenda. Many "traditional Democrats" find it difficult to break with their tradition of supporting Democratic candidates; their "feel good receivers" have been tuned to that frequency for so long they can't switch channels.
God gave us all free will. We have a right, and a responsibility, to evaluate our positions based on the knowledge of what is right and what is wrong. There may be some gray areas in life, but most of us know that the really important things in life can only be equated to either right or wrong.
--We know that killing an unborn baby because it is inconvenient is WRONG; God would NEVER support that position.
--We know that a person "freely" giving to charity is righteous, but being forced to contribute their earnings so someone else can decide where their gifts will go is wrong.
--We know that we have no right to enjoy the fruits of another's labor. We must earn our own.
--We know that the whole idea of lying to achieve power over others is a corruption of morality.
I hope, and pray, for our country's sake, that people will start to recognize "progressivism" for what it really is: dictatorial, centralized power in the hands of an aloof, elite political class with no moral compass to guide them by a higher authority.
The message we have to get across to our friends who are still locked into that emotionalism of relativism, is that it's O.K. to reevaluate your position. You don't have to lock step support any political party just because your grandfather, father, or you have always done it that way. Billy Graham once said: "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". To stand for something, you have to consciously think about your position, understand it, and understand why you feel that way. The progressives don't want you to use your brains; they want to attack you with emotional appeals, ambiguities, and muddied waters. They are all about rationalization of behavior and values.
America has been the only place on earth that was established on the principles that the people own the government; not the government owns the people. As such, for over 200 years, we've wrestled with many of the tough issues of the time. Being a government "of the people", and people having human flaws, we've naturally had, and still have, flaws that had to be overcome. The most often referenced is equality of all citizens. This has been, and continues to be, a long fought struggle. Abolishing slavery, ensuring equal treatment of all regardless of race, creed, sex, color, national origin, or physical disability have been issues that have been fought for throughout our history. But, even with all of our imperfections, we've still been the shining light among nations for individual liberty, freedom of religion, of speech, the right to dissent with the government without fear of being killed. We are the "go to" nation for all of those oppressed throughout the world who seek a better life for themselves and families.
We have a great nation. We should all be PROUD to be AMERICANS! We don't have to apologize to anyone for our country being exceptional. We can only remain an exceptional nation if the citizens respect one another and respect the laws and morality behind those laws which ensure all of us have equal protection. A tyrant, whether it's a single person or a huge government machine, has no incentive to do anything other than what they want to do. We don't have an individual tyrant, but our HUGE Federal bureaucracy has become tyrannical and must be controlled. this coming election can be the beginning to taking control back and limiting government in our lives.

Mary and I flew from Florida to Alexandria, Minnesota where I was the keynote speaker and entertainer (singer) at their “Rally for America”. As we approach another anniversary of the 9/11attacks, I caught segments of various 9/11 documentaries on TV in the hotel room.
I was struck by numerous stories of bravery and self-less acts of courage by our fellow Americans. A twenty-four year old man led a group of fellow employees to safety. He went back into one of the twin towers to rescue more, never to be seen again.
A survivor spoke of the look in the eyes of a fireman going up the stairwell as he passed him going down. The survivor said he felt the fireman knew he was possibly going to his death. And yet, he was speedily taking two steps at a time up the stairs.
I heard about a white man in one of the towers who upon hearing cries for help, pulled a brown man through a wall to safety. They both survived and have become life long friends. The incidents of Americans rising to the challenge on 9/11 are many. Some we will never know.
But there was a group of Americans on 9/11 who for the most part were ignored. I am talking about “the jumpers”. These people, like responsible adults, simply showed up for work on 9/11. Suddenly, they found themselves in an unimaginably horrific situation, having to decide whether to be consumed in an inferno or leap to their deaths. Dear Lord!
Early after the 9/11 attacks, our liberal politically correct media put an “unofficial” ban on showing “the jumpers” in their coverage. Careful not to fuel American outrage, our media is always sympathetic to America's enemies.
Like most Americans, I remember where I was and what I was doing on 9/11. I came out of the bathroom draped in a towel after a failed attempt to take a shower, “Honey, there's no water!” “Sorry”, Mary replied. “I forgot to pay the bill.” So, there I was annoyed because I had to drive two miles to drop a check off to the water company. That was my biggest “issue” of the day.
Meanwhile, my fellow Americans were forced to decide whether to burn or jump.
Witnesses saw a young woman high up in one of the towers at a window as flames raged behind her. She made the sign of the cross and did a swan dive out of the window.
Ponder that image when you hear liberal Democrats, Progressives and Obama's pastor of twenty years, Jeremiah Wright, say we got what we deserved on 9/11.
Innocent Americans simply showed up for work. Remember, the jumpers.

Members of the self-imagined, self-appointed institutionalized “progressive” “intellectual elite” have no desire to discuss the reality of what was the most embarrassing DNC since Chicago 1968…can’t blame them. If they were remotely interested in the truth, they would have already seen the sound wave analysis of the “put God back in the platform” voice vote and know that approving that vote was completely illegitimate. Saying otherwise is pure, unadulterated propaganda, not the truth.
But, what else is to be expected from “progressives”?
They were booing the reinstatement of God and Jerusalem into the Party platform like good little “progressives”. They were happy that bho decided against also reinstating the other deleted portions. The two regarding right of return and Hamas. Or did their “straight shooting” news sources never even mention those?
That is what is best described as typical “progressive” behavior. Especially from bho…”LOOK AT THIS HAND”…meanwhile, while everyone is looking at the one hand, he is picking pockets with the other.
While everyone was busy talking about the voice count debacle, most people never even noticed that the exhalted “progressive” “leader” managed to throw Israel under the bus while convincing low information voters that he had come to Israel’s rescue.
The only way bho wins in 2012 is with massive “progressive” voter fraud. Voter fraud happens to be the one and only reason Al Franken won in MN in 2008 to become the 60th “progressive” Senator. Without cheating “progressives” stealing that election, America would not now be saddled with the biggest tax hike in American history: obama”care”TAX.
The “progressives” do not want to debate the obama"care"TAX either. After all, it is so much easier to live in denial. They are going to be truly shocked and extremely dismayed to discover the taxes they will be forced to pay. Yes, “progressives” will have to pay. (And to think they are still insulted by being called useful idiots.) Taxes that the "most transparent" administration in history" and its "honesty in government" legislative co-horts hid from them and their fellow "progressive" lemmings. As pelosi said: "we have to pass the bill to see what's in it". If "progressives" successfully steals the 2012 election and the country is stuck with obama"care"TAX, all Conservatives will be able to say to “progressives” is: SUCKERS!!! Don't say you were not warned.
If “progressives” describe Conservatives not wanting government to hand out taxpayer funded contraceptives to women, especially those who can afford to go to Georgetown Law School, or not wanting government to use taxpayer money to pay for the wholesale slaughter of unborn children…if “progressives describe that as being involved in reproductive issues, then they are finally right about something.

Only "progressives" believe that keeping convicted murderers alive while killing innocent, defenseless unborn babies somehow elevates them to the "moral high ground".
They will claim that owners of media outlets tend to be Conservative...and that balances out media bias. They are obviously deaf and blind or so completely indoctrinated that they believe the Current TV program portraying Rupert Murdock's creation of FOX News as an attack on journalism was unbiased.
It's only natural that 100% biased "progressives" believe, as does their so-called "president", that America only became great AFTER "progressives" saddled the country and ensuing generations with hundreds of trillions of dollars of unfunded liabilities. The $16 trillion national debt is only what has been borrowed. Take a look at the bottom of the national debt clock chart and see how much is currently owed in unfunded liabilities like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and obama"care"TAX.
Only a "progressive" who "feels" it is "good" to run up that kind of debt would overlook the harsh reality that that is completely unsustainable. If they are so eager to live in Greece, let then move there and stay there. Losing the likes of “progressives” to Europe would be America's gain.
Sure, they may have been born in this country; they may even have a birth certificate to prove that they are legally citizens. But the "progressive" idea of centrally planned big government, where rights are determined by the government, where an oligarchy dictates to businesses, industries and the masses, deemed incapable of governing themselves, is NOT an American idea. It is a European idea brought to America by the Fabian Socialists from England and the Frankfurt School from Germany. It's as progressive as returning America to the rule of King George.
The American idea, that men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that to secure these Rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, where the Freedoms and Liberties of each and every individual are a birthright, originated in the 13 colonies. It is found in the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and is explained in the Federalist Papers. All were written in America by Americans.
Someone either believe in the American idea, an idea that made America the greatest nation in the history of the planet, or they believe in the "progressive" idea, which over the past 100 years has been slowly eroding the foundation principles and economic security of the world’s one exceptional nation. The only nation ever founded upon an idea.
If you are a "progressive" you are not an American. If you are an American, you are not a "progressive."
Since “progressives” are demonstrably incapable of perceiving what is subtly conveyed, it should be put in terms even a "progressive" can understand: "progressives" are parasites. Their host will return to health and thrive only after the “progressive” parasites are removed and are no longer draining the host's life blood.
May bho and every other “progressive” politician infesting America lose every election, may every biased member of the institutionalized “progressive” left news media lose every job, may every grey-haired, pony-tailed Marxist lose every position they hold in academia, and may every Hollywood Marxist leave America and remain outside America….in perpetuity.

A tale illustrating how out-of-control government effects real people by my friend, Gary Paduch.
Old man Pervis made a meager living plowing peoples gardens with his old mule Tom. They also did odd jobs with his wagon and mule drawn hay mowing machine. But, times had changed and work was slow. Tom ate a great deal of hay and oats. The old man's profit margin had declined as he and Tom grew older. The old man decided to gradually cut back on Tom’s food just a handful a day. He reasoned Tom would get used to it and he would have a bigger profit margin, even though this strategy would only amount to a few cents per day. The plan was working to perfection except after a few months old Tom fell over stone cold dead from the lack of nutrition. His resistance to disease, parasites and God knows what else had caused his demise.
Tom lay dead out behind his small shed. Old man Pervis would have to hire old man Hawkins to come with his backhoe and bury old Tom. It was a sad day and very little money was left in the Pervis cookie jar. He’d have to walk to the store and leave word for Mr. Hawkins to come quickly as Tom was getting “ripe” and the smell was going to be over powering in very short order.
As he sat on his small back door stoop, a car pulled into his dirt driveway. It was an official government car. Pervis walked to meet the driver. “Are you Pervis?” the man asked. “I am, what can I do for you?” Pervis said.
“Mr. Pervis, I am with the county code department. We have information that you have been operating a mule without a permit and have failed to pay your annual mule tax!” Mr. Pervis looked perplexed. “I never heered about such a thing” he answered softly. The code enforcement man spoke harshly, “Mr. Pervis, ignorance of the law is no excuse. You are going to have to learn the code and pay the mule tax and permit fees, plus penalties and interest. How long have you had the mule?”
Old man Pervis' eyeballs were now the size of golf balls. “I reckon about 15 years or so. He’s been a good mule.” “My God”, said the code enforcer, “This is a most serious matter! Where is the mule now?”
Pervis responded, “He’s down yonder behind the shed.” The old man pointed in the direction of the shed. The enforcer glared at Pervis. “Mr. Pervis, I may have to confiscate your mule in light of this most serious lengthy violation”. The old man Pervis said, “ That would be all right with me. He’s dropped over stone cold dead”. The enforcer paused after a few minutes. He asked the old man, “Mr. Pervis do you have your MOSHA documents available, and your occupational license, your mule skinner continuing education certificates, zoning compliance letter and certificate of occupancy for that shed?”
The old man sat down on a stump at the edge of the drive way, “I ain't got non of that stuff. I ain't never heered of such a thing”. The old man wrung his old large callous hands together. “I am just an old man, trying to earn a living.” The enforcer was not moved. “Mr. Pervis I don’t make the laws, smarter men than me do that. I just enforce them. I’m going to have to red flag this property and notify the county code director, MOSHA and other appropriate federal, state, county and other jurisdictional authorities.”
At this point Mrs. Pervis hobbled out to the two men, She wore her only dress. She and it were thin and worn. “Gene is something wrong?” she asked. “This man is a high governmental official with the county and the USA. He says I have broken the law in every way because of dead Tom. As best as I can figure, I’m headed for prison. He is going to red flag our house and shed. We’re done for. He says smarter men has set up these laws. You’ll have to get on the food stamps and the welfare. Only God can help us now.”
They stood together near the sawed off stump as the code enforcer wrote out a citation and strung out red plastic tie down ribbons around their property. It was a warm day. Tom would fill the air with his sweet aroma quickly. There was nothing the Pervises could do. There was nothing anyone could do. The government was in charge. Small mule skinners had no chance.
When the enforcer was finished, he walked over to Mr. and Mrs. Pervis, “I’m sorry about your loss, but I must advise you that you’ll have to get an environmental burial permit and file the required death certificates. I hope you can get another mule so you can get back to work.” He tipped his hat.
Old man Pervis said, “Another mule, what little money we got is going to lawyers to keep us out of jail.” “I’m sorry,” said the enforcer. “I don’t make the rules I just enforce them.” He then drove away.

Since World War II, quite a number of black Americans have embraced Islam. Many apparently do so because they associate slavery with white Christian Europe. As far as I can tell, many that do so are unaware of the nature and dimnsions of the Arab slave trade. It seems understandable that many African-Americans would want to shed their white Anglo-Saxon Protestant "slave" names. Yet what most seem to be doing is to adopt Arab names rather than actual African names. They are in effect giving up one set of slave names for another set. Embracing African names and culture seems unsderstandable. Many Americans of European ancestry are fascnated by their European heritage. What seems difficult to understand is why American blacks are so eager to embrace both the Arab names and the Islamic faith of the slavers who wreaked such havoc throughout Africa for 12 centuries and even today are involved in both slavery and a genocide against Africans in Darfur.
