You can knock me down and watch me bleed
But you can’t keep no chains on me

—Kid Rock (Robert Ritchie) “Born Free

“I concede she [Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI)] is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullshit!”—Kid Rock quoted by Phillip Stucky “Kid Rock Leads Democrat In New Poll

A brash, rough talking, sometimes crude political outsider with a large media following, taking on the political establishment’s elite. Where have I seen this before?

I’m talking about Kid Rock, not Donald Trump.  Robert Ritchie, better known as Kid Rock, has announced that he is running for the US Senate—and I for one believe he is quite earnest about it, and furthermore may very well get elected.

A friend of mine in Michigan, with his finger on the pulse of Michigan’s grassroots, tells me that there are a lot of people very excited about Ritchie running.  He is quite popular in his home state.

Saul Anuzis, former chairman of the Michigan GOP says, “He’s well-liked in Michigan. He’s a hometown darling.  He’s got deep connections to Detroit.  He’s done a lot throughout the state.  Anybody who’s writing him off is making a mistake.”

Ritchie was born (1971) and raised in an upper middle-class environment in the small town of Romeo, Macomb County, Michigan, about thirty miles from Detroit.  Behind his rock star persona is a thoughtful intelligence that can take people meeting him for the first time by surprise—“observers have expressed surprise, even bewilderment, at discovering an intelligent, articulate, charismatic and even introspective person in real life.”  I would say that Ritchie’s “wild bad boy” persona is not a facade, so much as it is one facet of a multi-faceted personality.

Through it all, he came across as utterly authentic even as he was constantly redefining himself.  He hasn’t so much reinvented himself as proven to be totally malleable while maintaining a sense of authenticity.—Tim Alberta, Zack Stanton (Sarah Gamard) “Senator Kid Rock. Don’t Laugh.

Kid Rock’s fame will no doubt give Ritchie a big boost, but Ritchie’s biggest liability will also be, “Kid Rock.”  You can be sure that the Democrats will make hay with his—how shall I put this—less than politically correct statements of the past (and present for that matter).

But We the People are more than fed up with polished, silver-tongued political weasels promising us the stars and stabbing us in the back.  We know that the globalist elites, both Democrat and Republican, look down on America’s working men and women and view us with disdain.  We know that arrogant snobbery is the coin of the realm in DC and that they consider us stupid, deplorable, bitter gunslingers.

Michigan, once part of the Democrats vaunted “Blue Wall” is suddenly a battleground where Democrats and Republicans are now fighting for blue collar voters. This became a central theme during the 2016 election season, where Donald Trump won over the white working class vote.—Delphi Analytica “Kid Rock ahead in hypothetical matchup with Debbie Stabenow, Large number of voters are undecided

Because they prefer to wear “Russia Did It” blinders Democrats have failed to see the screamingly obvious truth that people do not like being lied to, robbed, ignored, and treated with contempt.  Imagine that.

Trump saw that truth, related to it, and spoke our language, spoke to our concerns—and gave the finger to political correctness.  We the People loved him for that and admired his toughness and authenticity.  It was obvious to us that he meant what he said and said what he meant and was no smooth-talking snake oil salesman.  And we elected him president because of it.

We need some sharp elbows and rough edges in DC.  This o so refined “hail fellow well met” collegial bulls—t has led us nowhere but deeper into the swamp.  Time for a wake-up call, and Robert Ritchie may be just the sort of street-wise change agent needed to rattle the smug DC establishment and give it a long overdue motivational kick in the butt.

Gear up!  Kid Rock in 2018.

4063683733?profile=original      Will White Students be denied entrance to College Admissions Office

If you are a white student walking into a Michigan college admissions office, you have to be wondering whether you are going to be admitted based on your grades or denied because of your ethnicity. This may soon become the reality for a countless number of white college students across the wolverine state, or America if the U.S. Supreme Court rules to invalidate state voters that voted against using race to determine college admittance in 2006.

Of course racial discrimination is unfair, repugnant and dangerous to the social viability of a nation when it is used to deny the rights of its citizens. The problem which voters in Michigan thought had been corrected was to toss out race-conscious affirmative action admission plans with a fairer race-neutral approach.

At the core of the case is the notion that fifty-eight percent of Michigan voters were seriously in error in amending the Michigan constitution to prohibit discrimination in admission to state colleges on the basis of national origin, sex, race or ethnicity.

To most voters in Michigan this seemed like a relative no-brainer. How could anyone oppose not using discriminatory practices to deny a prospective student entry to college?

It seems that the liberals and race baiters who thrive on erecting barriers to race neutrality and color blind solutions wanted a different result. Instead of desiring to work to determine real solutions to any potential problems minorities might be experiencing in matriculating from high school to college admittance, they took the more convenient route to cry racism!

This approach taken by the civil rights organizations in the state and nationally have determined without much effort, to use a formula that strips sanity from the law and replaces it with fear and racist scare tactics. The goal is to scare the judicial community and moderates who are lukewarm on everything, to abandon common sense and support a fraud which has no foundation in law or on recent facts.

Where is the proof that there is continued discrimination against minorities since the voters in Michigan decided that reverse discrimination is unjustified and beneath the dignity of a state that wants equal treatment for all of its citizens? What about a state’s sovereignty under the 10th Amendment, where the state and its citizens have a right to determine its own course in order to balance justice and equality under the law?

Another key question of law which the court must grapple with is whether or not a state amendment that bars discrimination in its constitution can be found to be unconstitutional because it does not allow discriminatory practices and remedies.

Are you confused now?

You should be, because in effect, what the advocates of affirmative action are arguing is that the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment should allow a state to openly and intentionally discriminate against a race or ethnic group as a means to remedy previous discriminatory practices.

4063641029?profile=original                           Michigan State Police protect Right To Work  Law supporters

from assaults from organized union protesters

“There will be blood,” angrily threatened State Representative Douglas Geiss openly from the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives on Tuesday, according to Fox News. His frustration in the chamber was shouted out by thousands of organized labor supporters who rallied outdoors in the state capitol in opposition to Michigan’s 'Right to Work’ law. The legislation was signed into law by Republican Gov. Rick Snyder late Tuesday afternoon. Is union tyranny over?

Over the past several weeks, union unrest over right to work legislation had surfaced into slowly burning embers waiting to be ignited. On Monday, the igniter-in-chief arrived. So on Monday when, President Obama visited the Detroit area; he had been scheduled to discuss the fiscal cliff and its impact on Michigan families.

Instead he moved to shove Michigan elected Republican lawmakers off the legislative cliff. He eagerly chided legislators for supporting Right to Work legislation coming to a vote the next day in Lansing, the state capitol.

His invasion into the privacy and sovereignty of the state of Michigan was unnecessary, unwanted, unneeded and served to ignite hot language in an already combustible atmosphere. Instead of sticking to his script or teleprompter, Obama forgot his place and scolded Michigan’s governor and state house and senate leaders by sarcastically stating:

“These so-called 'right-to-work' laws, they don't have anything to do with economics. They have everything to do with politics," He then went on to add, "What they're really talking about is they're giving you the right to work for less money." President Obama

It is abundantly clear that Obama never took an economics course, if he believes that out-of-whack union wages and benefit packages have not placed a stranglehold on state, and local government budgets as well as private sector job creation. In fact, according to Fox News, seven of the states that have the most improved job creation numbers have Right to Work legislation on the books.

If you are a resident of Michigan or any other state and are or have been a member of a union, you know what it feels like to be threatened by union goons. They openly tell you when you can work, and when you cannot, and who you have to support for political office and who you should not. This is not union protection of wages, this is union thuggish behavior, used to harass, threaten and intimidate you!

To add insult to injury all of this is done courtesy of union dues paid by workers!

Yet, the Right to Work drive for Michigan workers arrived this year, past due on the desk of state capitol legislators. Just how could this happen in the cradle of organized unionism? To workers who have long supported this effort, it seems crystal clear. They want the right to jobs and the right to work!

Free Michigan

Michigan is now the 24thright to work state in America.

Public workers in Michigan are now free to work without being forced to pay legalized extortion to unions as a precondition of their employment.4063640877?profile=original

As union labor gathered by the thousands, Michigan’s legislature voted approval Tuesday to "right-to-work" legislation.  The House and the Senate both approved the measure, making membership and payment of union dues optional.  Governor Rick Snyder has promised to sign it into law.

More than 12,000 protestors from around the Midwest gathered for the vote.  Union thugs dissatisfied with the vote attacked the Americans for Prosperity tent, tore it down and slashed it apart with knives while members of AFP were still inside.

Union promised there will be more to come.

4063640905?profile=originalFrom the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives, Democratic State Representative State Representative Douglas Geiss threatened “There will be blood.”

Barack Obama described the legislation thusly:  “These so called right-to-work laws, they don’t have anything to do with economics, they have to do with politics.”

This is coming from someone whose entire position on the so-called fiscal cliff negotiations in Washington DC has nothing to do with economics.  It is all about politics.  It is all about destroying the Republican Party and promoting a patently un-American fringe Marxist ideology.

Michigan’s right-to-work law makes it illegal to require financial support of a union as a condition of employment.  When it comes to recruiting businesses to Michigan it will make the state more competitive.  Critics claim it will cripple the ability of unions to fund their political policy objectives.

Unions are forgetting some fundamental principles.  No one should be forced against their will to join a union or to have their paycheck skimmed by unions.  If someone disagrees with their politics, no one should be forced to fund union politics.

For “progressives”, who lay claim to sole possession of concern for working people, forcing Americans who object to their political policy objectives to fund then as a precondition of employment is hypocrisy in the most classic sense.

Hypocrisy, when it comes to speaking about “progressives”, is par for the course.

It is morally right for workers to have the power of decision where it comes to supporting labor unions financially.  People should have the right to work without being forced to pay union dues.  Americans who want to work should not be enslaved by unions.

Fiscal survival of Individual States
in Jeopardy
Many Americans assumed that the country contained its own Greece already. The fate of profligate California has been a topic for discussion for at least the last thirty months. Well, it turns out we have at least three Greeces among us: Michigan and New York join California in their history of unionization and now like Greece and California, in their history of financial collapse. The matter is coming to a head . . . . You may have heard that Nancy Pelosi has just reconvened the House of Representatives (called them back from their vacations) to vote on a bailout package that narrowly passed the senate thanks to both Republican senators from Maine allowing the cloture vote to succeed 61-39 joining with Harry Reid’s Democrats for another rubberstamp bailout in accord with the desires of Dictator Barak. It appears there is nothing Obama, Pelosi and Reid will NOT do in their pursuit of union votes. Here’s what’s going on . . . .
After pretending to be conservatives for a few days, Olympia Snow and fellow Maine senator Susan Collins collapsed the Republican filibuster and both voted with the Democrats on cloture and passed the motion 61-39 . . . in due course the Dems bailout bill then passed on simple majority lines. Snow said she supported the Democrats’ bill with the understanding that the states would “have to act more responsibly in the future.” That is – like Michigan’s Bart Stupak when he allowed Barack Obama to pass Obamacare with federally-funded abortions mandated --she sold her senatorial birthright for a bowl of soup. Snow and Collins and Massachusetts’ Scott Brown are setting records for killing Republican filibusters against the Obama agenda. One, two or three of them are often required to side with the Democrats, depending upon how many Democrats find a particular bill in question repugnant, and this threesome have been very willing to advance the Obama progressive agenda without receiving any important concessions time after time after time.
For those readers unfamiliar with Senate procedure, large majority parties like today’s Democrats love to ram across their programs and would do so and then easily win every vote with at least 51 votes. We are protected against such tyrrany of the masses by the need of a party to gain at least a 3/5 majority (for example 60-for and 40 against) to then allow them to actually take the senate into the voting phase for or against passage of a particular bill – the idea is that unpopular bills will at least have to be amended significantly or the minority party can filisbuster (bring up arguments, amendments, discussion, witnesses, etc.) endlessly until some significant compromise occurs to change the balance of voting power. Of course, in the case of particularly loathsome attempts at law, the filibuster option can definitely save the nation if the minority party stands tough, which the Republicans have NOT done.
Snow is, along with Brown and Collins clearly aligned with progressive (we need to “progress” well beyond the out-of-date and flawed U.S. Constitution) interests in the left-wing of the Democrats . . . despite all the bright promise shown when Brown was elected in November, the progressives have passed virtually all their hearts’ desires except for Cap and Trade and Amnesty for Illegals (a.k.a. “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”) thanks to these progressive Republican senators acting alone or in concert with each other to harmonize with the progressive Democrats.
What this means is that now 47 other states will be required to bail out Michigan, California and New York from their unionization and other spending excesses. California and New York have the largest contingent of state employees unions and Michigan of course still is dominated by the United Auto Workers’ Union as well as its own state employees unions. That is, 47 other states thanks to their own senators will be required to jeopardize their own fiscal solvency to buck up California, New York and Michigan. Doesn’t that remind you of the European Union stepping into save Greece? Why should taxpayers from states that have cut their budgets and observed spending restraint, pay for the extravagances of other less responsible states? That’s the issue with the $26 Billion bailout Pelosi has reconvened the House to vote on.
According to DickMorris.com, “State government employment has risen by 16 percent since 1995 and overly generous Medicaid and other spending has climbed alongside it. Pension obligations, initially incurred as a cheap alternative to pay raises for public workers, are increasingly driving state budgets over the brink.
“State and local governments and school boards are hostages to the public employee labor unions that control their finances through their contracts and their politics with their donations and votes. These nominally democratic government bodies are as much under the sway of their union captors as the auto companies are of the UAW.”
If a Republican Congress turns off the spigot of federal bailouts, Morris adds, “the municipal and state bond markets are going to take the hint and stop buying state paper at any interest rate. California will find its debt has become unmarketable and will comeback again begging Congress for relief. First it will seek federal money and then its demands will escalate into a federal guarantee of its state debt. The Greek financial crisis will come to our shores in the form of state bankruptcies.”
States should be allowed to go bankrupt without federal interference this would require a new bankruptcy law. Minimal and reasonable federal help should then be allowed if the state involved dissolves all its union contracts, pension requirement and starts over negotiating with the unions for a fiscally-sound state budget. Morris put it this way, “By freeing states and local governments (including school boards) of their union obligations on wages, work rules, staffing, and pensions, they have a chance to survive and, indeed, to prosper. But merely subsidizing these massive expenditures just prolongs the misery of the states in question. The collapse of overspending state governments must trigger the diminution of the power unions hold over their budgets and their politics. Their coming bankruptcies offer an opportunity for reform and the Republican Congress - backed by newly elected Republican state governments - give us precisely the opportunity we need to effectuate it.”
Rajjpuut can only add, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,
Rajjpuut

FAKE "TEA PARTY" FILES AS POLITICAL PARTY IN MICHIGAN...

A group of folks, which research is showing have strong connections to the Democratic party has copied a similar situation in Florida, and filed as a political party for the elections this fall.

The so-called "chairman", is a man from Reese, MI, a former UAW steward, with whom NO ONE in ANY functioning Tea Party group in the state has ever had contact with. He hired a former legal advisor to Jim Blanchard, a past Democratic Gov., and who has represented several Democratic concerns, to help with the ballots and legal wording. They then hired another Democratic-connected company to gather signatures to be allowed on the ballot. this company was paid around $100,000 to do the work; hiring people thru newspaper ads, and paying them $1 per signature.
They attended functions where real Tea Party groups had events, and claimed to be connected in order to get signatures. They met the required amount, at over 59,000 and turned them in to the State Board of Canvassers last Friday. Many Tea Parties went to Lansing on Friday to protest and ask the Board of Canvassers to investigate and do the more thorough form of ballot checking; Mike Bouchard and the Republican Party even came to support us in our claim that WE are the REAL Tea Party, and DO NOT wish to file as a political party.
When asked about their required Convention to select candidates for November's ballot, their attorney stated he did not know the date or place it would be held. That was a lie, as they held it the VERY NEXT DAY, Saturday, July 24, while our statewide Tea Parties were holding our LiberTEA Fair in Charlotte, MI.
(which by the way, was great, but I suspect few of you atteded - you missed a great event).
The slate of candidates selected by this FAKE Tea Party are very "coincidentally" only running for offices in hotly contested races where a strong conservative is vying for a seat of a Democrat, or where a Republican incumbent is being challenged by a Democrat, hoping to take a seat. In other words, they hope to fool enough of you Tea Party supporters into thinking their candidates are really Tea Party people, and split the conservative vote to see a Democrat win. And even more troubling, if they manage to capture 1% of the vote, they will automatically be eligible to be on next year's ballots without having to collect signatures again!!
We urge you to notify everyone you know about this situation, and DO NOT VOTE FOR A "TEA PARTY" CANDIDATE printed on your November ballot!!
