Hate, fear and smear!! “Shame on you Barack Obama!!” - Feb 23, 2008

This is the legacy of the Democrat party and one which President Obama embraces and actually appears to relish. He is quite familiar with the hate, fear and smear art form practiced by his fellow democratic leaders. He uses it with adept frequency. The president flies into crucial swing states like Ohio, Florida, and Virginia with his practiced hanging drawl. He then enchants the black locals with notions of sugar plum government programs that will make their life better, if they give him the same chance they did in 2008.

This is done with no reflection upon their own increasing misery index which just happens to coincide with Obama’s increased abandonment of any job, education, or community safety-net promises made. Instead, it is only through continued black misery indexing upward can Obama and democrats continue their titanium plantation grip upon over 90 percent of America’s black electorate.

Where’s the beef? Where are the jobs?

The goal of democrat plantation politics has been to find a convenient and perpetual target that can be feared, hated, smeared and consequently demonized. Republicans are that target group, which unions, democrat community organizers like Obama, and democrat political machine leaders have made their primary election year goal.

Of course with the compliance of the NAACP, as their contracted plantation house servant, the nefarious and typically highly emotionally charged negative rhetoric rings off of church and community center walls every election season. But what are universally missing are the facts of Republican misdeeds. Emotional sing song rhyming rhetoric is the bait democrat plantation leaders ply to submerge common sense or biblical principles and values learned in the church.

President Obama not only knows this but he is absolutely banking on black mothers and fathers, grandparents and families to not look under the sheets and discover they have been hoodwinked and short-sheeted by Obama and the democrat plantation care takers. To borrow from Obama’s own 2008 words which blacks on the democrat political plantation would do well to remember, “Instead, they’re betting on amnesia. That's what they're counting on. They're counting on that you all forgot. They think that they can run the okey-doke on you. Bamboozle you."

ANN ARBOR, MI – A letter dated October 19, 2011 signed by 57 Muslim organizations, was sent to the White House with copies to other federal officials responsible for national security, including Secretary of the Department of Defense, Leon Panetta.  The letter demanded that all training materials that they judge to be offensive to Islam be “purged” and instructors “are effectively disciplined.”

Following that letter, in April 2012, Army Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Matthew Dooley, a highly decorated combat veteran, was publically condemned by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and relieved of his teaching assignment at the Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC).  The reason: the negative way Islam was portrayed in his elective course entitled, Perspectiveson Islam and Islamic Radicalism.

On May 10,2012,duringaPentagonpress conference with Defense Secretary Panetta seated next to him, General Martin Dempsey expressed negative opinions regarding the Perspectiveson Islam and Islamic Radicalism course, characterizing it as "totally objectionable" and "against our values."  General Dempsey personally committed to removing any similar curriculum from military professional education within the JFSC and elsewhere. 

The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, now represents LTC Dooley, a 1994 Graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point. 

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, observed, “In order to appease Muslims and the White House, General Dempsey and the Department of Defense rushed to punish LTC Dooley.  In the process, they violated not only our Nation’s core principles of free speech and academic freedom guaranteed by our Constitution, but also, a number of the military’s own regulations dealing with academic freedom and non-attribution policies of the National Defense University (NDU)  to which LTC Dooley was assigned.  They violated the right to due process of law and even by-passed the University’s Provost, who under NDU’s own rules has primary responsibility for adjudication of this matter.”

“The final bastion of America's defense against Islamic jihad and sharia, the Pentagon, fell to the enemy in April 2012, with the issuance of a letter from General Martin E. Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, re-issuing his earlier order that all Department of Defense (DoD) course content be scrubbed to ensure no lingering remnant of disrespect to Islam.”

The administrative disciplinary procedures against LTC Dooley included removal from his teaching             assignment and withdrawal of an outstanding Officer Evaluation Report (OER) concerning the elective course, Perspectiveson Islam and Islamic Radicalism,he had been teaching at JFSC.

On April 27, 2011, the White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, conducted a Press "Gaggle" - a press briefing held before the formal press meeting. At the meeting, Obama would make a statement about the release of his original, long-form, hosital-issued birth certificate - a document that Obama had refused to show to the public for the previous four years. The purpose of this document release was to confirm that Obama was physically born in Hawaii in August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Hospital. 

Obama stated the following at the April 27 meeting held in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room

(NOTE: This will be the very first time that Obama will make a reference to his Certification of Live Birth, aka, the "short-form")

THE PRESIDENT: As many of you have been briefed, we provided additional information today about the site of my birth. Now, this issue has been going on for two, two and a half years now. I think it started during the campaign. And I have to say that over the last two and a half years I have watched with bemusement, I've been puzzled at the degree to which this thing just kept on going. We've had every official in Hawaii, Democrat and Republican, every news outlet that has investigated this, confirm that, yes, in fact, I was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961, in Kapiolani Hospital. We've posted the certification that is given by the state of Hawaii on the Internet for everybody to see. People have provided affidavits that they, in fact, have seen this birth certificate. And yet this thing just keeps on going.

Questions about Obama's citizenship were first raised by the Hillary Campaign more than three years ago. Also, everyone in the media was questioning John McCain's birth place and citizenship at the same time they were ignoring Obama's. As far as "every official in Hawaii confirming his birthplace in Kapiolani Hospital," there was only one official: former Governor Linda Lingle blurted it out on a Saturday evening radio talk show that she "had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii."

Only Fukino issued the press release (which was not an affidavit and not about the short-form). In fact, there are no affidavits that attest to the existence and authenticity of the short-form birth Certification of Live Birth.

Prior to the appearance of Obama, a packet was passed around to the press containing copies of two birth certificates: one was a bluish monochrome copy of the long-form birth certificate that was not what they posted on the White House website, and a black & white copy of the short-form birth certificate that was made from a printout of a webpage on Snopes.com, a popular "mythbusting" site.

Following a brief introduction, the discussion was turned over to Dan Pfeiffer, the White House Director of Communications.

Although the focus of the briefing was about the surprising release of Obama's original long-form birth certificate, Pfeiffer took the opportunity to frequently inform the press that the issue regarding Barack Obama's birth certificate was fully settled in 2008 when Obama, himself, requested and received a copy of his short-form birth certificate in 2008 and had his staff, including Pfeiffer, post it on his Campaign website.

The key statement repeatedly underscored by Mr. Pfeiffer is that a copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate was ordered and received in 2008, and that this short-form birth certificate, called a "Certification of Live Birth" is what was sent to Obama - not the long-form birth certificate that the HDOH no longer releases. (NOTE: I will use the acronym COLB instead of writing out short-form birth certificate)

Below are partial excerts from the official transcript of the press briefing containing questions from the press and some responses from Mr. Pfeiffer. (I inserted comments to what was said - they appear in bold face).

MR. PFEIFFER: In 2008, in response to media inquiries, the President’s campaign requested his birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. We received that document; we posted it on the website.The State of Hawaii would never issue a copy of Obama's birth certificate to his Campaign - only Obama could order it.

So, that is what the White House is now claiming - that, in 2008, Obama, himself, ordered and received his COLB. "We received that document" presumably from Obama.

MR. PFEIFFER: ...since all of you weren' t around in 2008 when we originally released the President’s birth certificate, I will do that {that is, explain to the press what happened in 2008}

The "We" Pfeiffer is talking about refers to anyone connected with the Obama Campaign (run by Obama For America) since it was "released" seven months before there was an Obama White House staff (even though many of his campaign spokespeople became White House staff). When Robert Gibbs was Press Secretary (before Jay Carney), he used to proudly tell the press that "I posted it myself on the Internet."

MR. PFEIFFER: What you have in front of you now is a packet of papers that includes the President’s long-form birth certificate from the state of Hawaii, (and) the original birth certificate that the President requested and we posted online in 2008.

What "original birth certificate"did they post? The COLB is not the "original birth certificate." Was Pfeiffer confused about which is which? Possibly, since he claimed in his discussion that he did not even know a long-form existed at the time he posted the COLB. Again, Pfeiffer said that "the President requested the COLB and we posted it online in 2008." This is the third time that Pfeiffer said that "We," including himself, "posted the COLB online." The way that Pfeiffer tells it, they posted the actual COLB online instead of a copy of it. But why did they include in the packet, a copy of the COLB (an 8th generation copy) taken from the Snopes website? Don't they have a copy of their own?

MR. PFEIFFER: That document was then inspected by independent fact checkers, who came to the campaign headquarters and inspected the document -- independent fact checkers did, and declared that it was proof positive that the President was born in Hawaii.

Pfeiffer does not give the name of those "independent fact checkers" which he mentions twice. Would there have been one or more questions raised if he said that the "independent fact checkers" came from the organization known as "Factcheck.org," who are funded by the Annenberg Foundation and George Soros - two of Obama's biggest campaign contributors? Would it have been mentioned that the Annenberg Foundation gave $50 million to Bill Ayers who hired Obama to chair the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC)? These "independent fact checkers" had never seen a real COLB before, knew nothing about the security paper on which it is printed, and knew nothing about the security borders. In short, they had no idea what they were seeing, IF, in fact, they saw anything.

MR. PFEIFFER: To be clear, the document we presented on the President’s website in 2008 is his birth certificate. That essentially -- for those of you who followed the campaign closely know that solved the issue. We didn’t spend any time talking about this after that.

No, Mr. Pfeiffer. It did not solve the issue because, even if there was a real, authentic COLB, it cannot prove that Obama was physically born in Hawaii. COLBs were given to children born out-of-state up until a year after their birth. As long as their parents established residency in Hawaii for a year and claimed Hawaii as their home, the child was issued a COLB showing a Hawaiian birth. This is the sole reason why the long-form birth certificate was sought - to prove that Obama was physically born on US soil - one of the qualifications for being eligible to become President.

REPORTER: When you posted this did you post the other side of it where the signature is?

MR. PFEIFFER: Yes.

NO, they did not. Only the front side was posted and the Obama Campaign was not the first place to post a copy. The ultra leftwing Daily Kos was and Markos, the blog owner, did not say how he got it. They never posted an image of the other side and never posted another image of the front.

REPORTER: Because it is not here and that's been an issue.

MR. PFEIFFER: We posted both sides and when it was looked at it was looked at by -- the fact checkers came to headquarters and actually examined the document we had. That settled the issue...But it became an issue again.

NO, you never posted both sides. You said, ""...the fact checkers came to headquarters and actually examined the document we had."  Rather than settle the issue, it raised a bigger one. If you had the actual COLB, then you would have said " the fact checkers...actually examined Obama's birth certificate," and not "the document."

MR. PFEIFFER: I don’t think this dragged on for four years because this was resolved -- for those of you who remember the campaign, this issue was resolved in 2008. And it has not been an issue, none of you have asked about it, called about it, reported on it until the last few weeks.

Pfeiffer repeats the lie over and over and over again hoping that people will believe it is the truth. Doesn't Pfeiffer ever read what the media write? Has he never read a single "Birther article" from the thousands that appeared since 2008? Of course he has. He even said so. 

MR. PFEIFFER: There has been -- no one that I can recall actually asked us to -- we were asked to release the President’s birth certificate in 2008. We did that. And then no one -- it never -- up until a few weeks ago, there was never an issue about that that wasn’t the birth certificate from any credible individual or media outlet. And it hasn’t been until -- I mean, Jay was asked about this yesterday.

Pfeiffer must have been under a rock because the Obama Campaign was asked, from Day One, to release the long-form, hospital-issued birth certificate, and he has steadfastly refused. Hawaii has steadfastly refused. Pfeiffer is recognizing that the Mainstream Media buried the story and refused to investigate the issue until Trump forced them to bring it out. Only the people and media outlets whom Obama personally chooses are in Pfeiffer's "credible individual or media outlet" category. Did Pfeiffer really say that it was not an issue until Jay Carney was asked about it the day before? By whom? CNN? Trump?

MR. PFEIFFER: When any Hawaiian wants -- requests their birth certificate because they want to get a driver’s license, they want to get a passport, they do exactly what the President did in 2008. And that’s what that is. And we released that.

Pfeiffer is saying that the President, when he was still a candidate, filled out the standard PDF BIRTH form in 2008, sent it to the Hawaii Health Department and they sent him, by mail, a 2008 Certification of Live Birth like every Hawaiian would get.

Right?

MR. PFEIFFER: Let’s be very clear. You were there for the campaign. There was never a question about the original birth certificate during the campaign. It was a settled issue. I was there for the original decision to release the birth certificate. I was there when we posted it online. I'm not sure I even knew there was an original one that was different than the one we posted online because it wasn’t an issue. So it wasn’t like -- let’s be very clear. We were asked for the President’s birth certificate in 2008; we released the President’s birth certificate; and it was done. That was it.

Pfeiffer, let's be very clear. You are not. Millions of people from all walks of life have been asking continuously for four years to see Obama's original, hospital-issued long-form birth certificate, and Obama and Hawaii have been stonewalling its release. The day before your press briefing, CNN, (one you would consider to be a "credible media outlet") had a two-part "Birther" investigation and they were talking about Hawaii's long-form birth certificate and how Obama could get one.

You said "I was there for the original decision to release the birth certificate."

WHAT decision? WHOSE decision? WHEN was it made? Did it sound something like, "Release the Kraken!"

MR. CARNEY {joins the debate}: the President feels that this was bad for the country...to be drawn into sideshows about fallacies that have been disproven with the full weight of a legal document for several years.

I hate to break it to you, Carney, but the online COLB is not a legal document and has no weight at all. Now, here comes the real fallacy.

Pfeiffer said that, in 2008, Obama requested and received, an original Certification of Live Birth that he posted online. He said that, in 2008, the Obama Campaign had the "actual document" - presumably, the Certification of Live Birth that was requested by Obama in 2008 and posted online in 2008, and that "independent fact checkers had actually examined the document you had," also in 2008.

BUT, Obama's Certification of Live Birth was a 2007 COLB, date stamped June 6, 2007. There was no way for Obama to request and receive a COLB in 2008 - as you have repeatedly told the press - and get a 2007 COLB with a date-stamp of June 6, 2007. Ordering a COLB in 2008 would get you a 2008 COLB with a 2008 date stamp. Also, the 2008 COLB has a very different border and layout from the 2007 COLB and it also has a 2008 date-stamp .

So, NOW, you have a condundrum, and you recognized it. The way you got out of the conundrum was to make a black & white Xerox copy of a printout of a COLB shown on Snopes.com, and make the copy so light and fuzzy that it obscured both the 2007 date-stamp and the 2007 border. The press, you reason, would never know the difference between a 2007 and a 2008 COLB - especially when the 2007 date stamp could not be seen, and the COLB copy shown is not even your own.

The truth is that Obama never ordered a real COLB, never received a real COLB, never had a real COLB, and you never posted a real COLB. Hawaii's Department of Health never issued a real COLB to Obama, and that is why they refused to confirm it and refused to authenticate the images of it. Factcheck never examined a real COLB for Obama and CNN never investigated a real COLB for Obama.

In other words, Obama, the White House, Obama For America, the State of Hawaii, Factcheck (funded by the Annenberg Foundation), and Politifact (funded by the Times Corporation), know that Obama's online Certification of Live Birth is a forgery because there is no real Certification of Live Birth. All of these people and organizations know that Barack Obama is an imposter and an identity fraud who was not born in Hawaii. 

We have an imposter and a usurper in the White House, and a lot of people helped to put him there. No conspiracy theories here - just real conspirators and traitors and the greatest identity fraud in history.

Letter to Governor Martinez:

Dear Governor Martinez:

On August 26, 2012, I wrote to you and shared excerpts with you from a letter that I had forwarded to Senator Udall, on August 25, 2012, which I believed supported my numerous requests (eleven in total) for the removal of President Obama from the New Mexico 2012 Presidential Election Ballot because he is Constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of President and Commander-In-Chief.

I again would be remiss if I didn’t share excerpts from a letter that I sent to Senator Udall today in support of my request for the conduct of an investigation by both houses of Congress into the allegations made, on March 1, 2012 and July 17, 2012, by Sheriff Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse, which I again am taking the liberty of sharing with you because I believe they relate to and/or further support my numerous requests to have President Obama removed from the NM 2012 Presidential Election Ballot:

“On April 24, 2012, a Western Journalism article and/or blog post revealed an eye-opening report titled “The Wayne Madsen Report” that was drafted by a Washington, DC-based investigative journalist with approximately twenty years of experience that revealed that our foreign aid dollars that come from hard working Americans and is intended to be used to buy starving villagers rice is actually being used to finance foreign military weapons purchases for various wars, conflicts, and insurgencies as a means of furthering the Islamazation of Africa and Asia, which is now almost complete.  This report also does a meticulous job of connecting the dots that lead directly back to President Obama and his entire family.

What a labyrinth to wade through!  Lost in all of this overseas stewpot are the unsuspecting U.S. citizens who pay for everything. But where is Madsen now?  Is all of what he says true?  He filed communiqués from the Obama Korean summit recently, that much we know, but is he safe?

What really is appropriate here is the admonishment of George Washington who warned America in his Farewell Address delivered to our new nation on 17 September 1796.  Washington said, “Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence the jealousy of free people ought to be constantly awake since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of a republican government.”

Could any of our politicians look into the eyes of America’s founder and say they have followed his advice when it comes to foreign aid? Mightily served by our founding fathers, America has been miserably served by her politicians!”

Governor Martinez in my last seven letters to your office I have graciously requested an opportunity to visit with you for a few minutes regarding this extremely disturbing and time sensitive matter, but to date I have not received a response from your office.  This continues to baffle me because I still don’t comprehend why someone from your office can’t take a couple of minutes out of their busy schedule to provide me with the reason(s) for the denial of said request. I also find it extremely disappointing being that I am a Native New Mexican who not only voted for you when you were running for the office of Governor, but consider myself to be one of your loyal supporters, which evidently means little or nothing to you or members of your staff.

On April 24, 2012, a Western Journalism article and/or blog post revealed an eye-opening report titled “The Wayne Madsen Report” that was drafted by a Washington, DC-based investigative journalist with approximately twenty years of experience that revealed that our foreign aid dollars that come from hard working Americans and is intended to be used to buy starving villagers rice is actually being used to finance foreign military weapons purchases for various wars, conflicts, and insurgencies as a means of furthering the Islamazation of Africa and Asia, which is now almost complete.  This report also does a meticulous job of connecting the dots that lead directly back to President Obama and his entire family.

On August 25, 2012, I wrote my eleventh letter to you respectfully requesting that a full-scale investigation be conducted by both houses of Congress into the allegations made, on March 1, 2012 and July 17, 2012, by Sheriff Arpaio’s legal investigative team, known as the Cold Case Posse, which are supported by a preponderance of indisputable/credible evidence, to include sworn statements from witnesses around the world indicating an INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY TO DECEIVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, along with an abundance of additional questions that have been raised regarding President Obama’s eligibility to be our President and Commander-In-Chief of our Armed Forces.

For your information and much to my dismay, to date I have not received a response from your office, but be that as it may, what follows is an article and/or blog post that I believe not only relates to this extremely disturbing and time sensitive issue, but it overwhelmingly supports said request:

A Wayne Madsen 32 page pdf file is opening up a Pandora’s Box of American foreign aid money dispensed wildly and broadly overseas.  The reporter cites American dollars intended to buy starving villagers rice actually going to finance foreign military weapons purchases for various wars, conflicts, and insurgencies.   Our tax dollars earned through the hard work and sweat equity have not been used to our benefit but rather to further the Islamazation of these continents, which is now almost complete.

The very aims and actions of politicians, faceless bureaucrats, and foreign service operatives (both covertly and not covertly) have come back to bite America at a time when our own citizens are suffering through economic trouble.  The investigative reporter’s dogged pursuit of the Obama-Dunham family odyssey in places from Jakarta to Jalalabad, and from the Ford Foundation to the Oval Office, makes for fascinating reading:  But how to verify it?

Rumors abound that Madsen has grown so fearful for his life that he has broken up with a long time companion and left the country.   A noted author and syndicated columnist, Madsen’s reports have been widely circulated.  He is the author of “Genocide and Covert Operations in Africa” and “Jaded Tasks: Big Oil, Black Ops & Brass Plates.”

A picture of Stanley Ann Dunham “visiting a Balinese duck farm officially as part of her work to secure bank loans for small businesses” is included in the five-part report of international intrigue and American dollars. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s father Peter Geithner acted as the Ford Foundation’s grant selector for projects in Indonesia, and President Obama’s mother worked for or with him as Madsen reports.

The report’s dizzying array of abbreviations, acronyms, NGO’s, and many other groups obfuscate duties, dollars, and destinies.

What a labyrinth to wade through!  Lost in all of this overseas stewpot are the unsuspecting U.S. citizens who pay for everything. But where is Madsen now?  Is all of what he says true?  He filed communiqués from the Obama Korean summit recently, that much we know, but is he safe?

What really is appropriate here is the admonishment of George Washington who warned America in his Farewell Address delivered to our new nation on 17 September 1796.  Washington said, “Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence the jealousy of free people ought to be constantly awake since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of a republican government.”

Could any of our politicians look into the eyes of America’s founder and say they have followed his advice when it comes to foreign aid? Mightily served by our founding fathers, America has been miserably served by her politicians!”

Word of Caution:  Although its great that thousands of Americans are continuing to wake up and are actively taking some action to have President Obama taken off the 2012 Presidential Election Ballots we need to keep in mind that those individuals with unlimited sources and/or resources, to include the deep pockets of anti-American George Soros, our own local and national elected officials and others, with the help of the MSM, who have spent years planning and successively perpetrating what I now believe could be the greatest fraud in American history are not going to go down without a fight and thus, as a result, I also believe that now more than ever we need to stick together as Americans (it's no longer Democrat or Republican) at this crucial time when our country and/or Republic needs us more than ever to see this thru. A Republic for which so many Americans have and continue to give their all to uphold and defend.

I am on the road touring with Tea Party Express. In my hotel room, I caught an interview with first lady Michelle Obama on “Lift Every Voice”, a faith-based program on BET (Black Entertainment Television). I was amazed at how the black host and program producers portrayed Mrs. Obama and her husband as the couple they want to believe them to be – that is, strongly committed Christians.

In reality, Obama is the most anti-Christian president in U.S. History. Obama's behavior is irrelevant to the TV program producers. I felt like I was watching an episode of the Twilight Zone in which everything was the opposite of reality.

What on earth is going on in the hearts and minds of most black Americans in regard to Obama? Why are a majority of blacks apparently incapable of honestly accessing President Obama's job performance?

In past articles, I blamed The Black Code (never side with whites against a fellow black) and plain old basic black racism for black America's blind loyalty to Obama. However, I must confess that I find myself wondering if something more sinister figures into the mix; a spiritual thing.

The Bible says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Is black America bewitched by Obama? Frankly, I do not know. All I know is something really strange is going on in the psyche of many of my fellow blacks regarding Obama, making it impossible for them to honestly critique his job performance or who he is as a person.

For example: A black Christian minister friend is a hard-core liberal Democrat. And yet, he voted for George W. Bush in protest of the Democrats embracing the homosexual agenda. I informed my friend that along with supporting same-sex marriage, Obama has pledged to be an advocate for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. Knowing that my Christian friend is pro-life, I informed him that not only does Obama support abortion, he supports infanticide. And finally, I shared how 40 Catholic organizations are suing the Obama administration for mandating in Obamacare that Christian institutions fund abortion services.

One would assume that since my friend voted against his party in favor of Christian principles in the past, he would most assuredly vote against them again, given their extreme anti-Christian agenda. Wrong. My black Christian friend is voting for Obama, again.

Here are excerpts from his reply: “I will point out that Bush was supposed to advocate and make laws to stop these things. I voted for him to do so; he didn't. The issues now are more crucial than the issues identified by you; and while I have not deviated from my stance against these things you name I am force to choose between the lesser of evils. I will assure you that voting for Romney/Ryan will not change these situations any more than voting for Bush did (plus Ryan lied so much even Fox News had to dis him). What will happen however will be that Republican economic principles will hurl us into a worldwide depression so deep it will destroy the world economy as we know it and I add before its time.

He is a president controlled - as every president has been - by powers beyond his power to control from a figurehead position (money rules our political system). This nation will be judged for what its leaders have allowed and I recognized that there are no clean hands here even the ones screaming Christ Our Lord from every campaign perch and every so-called Christian pulpit.”

While dressing his racism up in a nice intellectual well-reasoned-sounding package, clearly, my friend has sold his soul to the devil of skin-color.

So, according to this black minister of God, sacrificing the lives of innocent babies and ignoring the Bible's opposition to homosexual marriage are lesser evils than allowing Romney/Ryan to win the White House. Dear Lord!

Mitt Romney will defeat Barack Obama in November. America will begin to heal, and we will have another black president someday.

But, what about Obama's legacy in regards to how his presidency impacted black America? Will Obama leave blacks striving for the highest ideals as did MLK? Unfortunately not. Obama will leave office with blacks behaving at their monolithic worse; voting skin-color over innocent life, national security, the economy and even their once sacred relationship with Christ.

Black America stooped this low once before with their monolithic celebration of OJ Simpson getting away with practically beheading his wife, the mother of his children. But then, she was white.

I am confident that black America will eventually recover from the stains on its character resulting from its shameful, monolithic racist behavior, rallying around the unworthy likes of OJ and Barack Obama.

America desperately longs for a “true leader” to bring us together as a nation. This person's gender and race are irrelevant. What matters most is his or her character.

With the world seemingly falling apart all around us you may be asking why in the world I have chosen in taking the time to share about “women” in my latest blog article here ? The only thing I can share with you, as I have also in the past, is that about that very question; I asked God the same question of Him when His Spirit informed me that this was His desire for me on the subject of women being precious to Him with all of you. You see, if you did not already know, I don't write about matters and news items that I alone feel appropriate for readers digestion, or what perhaps people might like to read about, no... I believe I write as the Spirit of the Lord leads me. I do hope and pray that as in all my other past articles written, that whomever the Lord has designed this article for, will be afforded not only the opportunity to read it, but also to be blessed in it-as whatever way the Good Lord has designed it to be. I do though wish to dedicate this article to my beautiful wife Jorlyn, my mom, my sisters, all four of my daughters, my 4 granddaughters, all my female friends, and all women everywhere around the world. I pray God's love touches your hearts this very hour....

I remember many years ago how I was raised by-to treat women. There were many object lessons from my father on how to do this for me from him from as far back as I can remember. Looking back at my childhood, some of the greatest lessons learned by me for that purpose was how my father treated my mother. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not going to try tell you my parents didn't argue or get angry at one other or have other problems, because that would simply be a lie, but I will tell you something my father taught me at an early age... and that was to love and respect my mom as well as my sisters. In fact my father had specific ways of respecting my mom and knew when it was time to let my mom have her way sometimes despite how he may have personally felt about a particular matter. One of the amazing things about my parents, although neither knew Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at the time(my dad still doesn't-yet), My father always showed respect for my mom no matter how “heated” things got. After all the bickering, yelling and back and forth between them, if my mom and him had to go out somewhere, my father would still open the door for her no matter how much he disagreed with her. You see, I earnestly believe that my father, even up to this day, still loves my mother and although he still does not agree with her on some major issues in life, he still believes my mom is precious and that God designed her to be treated in a precious way no matter what.

I also personally believe as my father continues this day, even after many years; that God designed women to be precious...not just some women, but all women and that also although some women may get very much off track in regards to how God designed them, deep within them, my dad and I firmly believe there is a princess in each woman who is always worthy of respect. God knows women aren't perfect but neither are men for that matter. In fact, neither gender has found it's way to perfection, and let's face it, never will. You know, it's funny... I am sitting here writing this article while thinking of how I have been personally attacked by men who said I am a “man hater” and also some women who have also called me a “women hater.” I guess I just can't win.... I always strive to be honest and am being completely frank here when I say, I hate neither men nor women at all but there is something I have noticed in my many years as a secular counselor and in addition in being an ordained Christian minister--- and that is that women are not like men, they are human-yes but there is a preciousness, a specialness about women that God has designed within each one of them and men are special and precious also, but in a different way than men. Something else I noticed is that no one can force nor manipulate that preciousness or specialness to “come out” of women, but I can tell you that it is very easy to damper and dissuade women from exhibiting their preciousness and special and uniqueness that God gave them towards others if a women feels abused or disrespected in some sort of way. What I am about to say may sound like an old cliché but it really is true; many women are like roses, they are easily bruised.

Some people unfortunately have learned the “art” of dampening the innate specialness that all women have. At a young age, girls as young as newborns are treated as less than human in some cultures or with malice, or in these times, less than who they really can be in Christ Jesus. I will be honest yet more here and tell you that I get more than just a little upset when I see any child abused or manipulated whether a little boy or a little girl, but there is something about girls who hold something dear to my heart and that out of respect and as the “weaker” sex(1Peter 3:7) I feel they should all be given extra care, protection and respect. I have helped and fed thousands of little boys and girls in the Philippines throughout the years. I have seen how a little girls heart and spirit can be easily broken(including my own daughter's hearts at the hands of others) as compared to most boys. I walk around with many scars on my own heart from witnessing tragedy's like this in my lifetime(perhaps you do also). I wish, oh how I wish I could do more to rescue and help more children from evil doers, that is those who manipulate little girls and women in unhealthy and believing horrible lies about themselves. Exposing and rescuing children, including little girls is part of my ministry... http://www.gfom.org but as I said, Oh how I wish I could do much, much more.

So, I hope I have offended no one here, my aim is certainly not to do so but inevitably I am sure someone is offended. Sadly, sharing truth these days always seems to get someone angry. It has just become part of everyday life for me. I have count the cost and as what I have shared today and will be sure to repeat... every woman and every little girl is precious and also very worthy or respect. We could all do a better job... agreed ?

May the Lord give all women and little girls everywhere a way to see just how precious they really are to Him.

My reflection of both the Republican and DemocraticNational Conventions, from Tampa to Charlotte, with even the fact-checkers having to be fact checked, has been focused on green: renewable energy and taxpayer money.

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan "slammed President Barack Obama over Solyndra during his acceptance speech." Not surprising considering the ads coming from the Romney camp, hammering away at the Obama administration's failed energy policies along with the crony capitalism charges leveled, a compelling case which the mainstream media is hell bent on either ignoring or shielding the president from.

Ryan declared, “It cost $831 billion –– the largest one-time expenditure ever by our federal government,” referring to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which was sold to the American people, guaranteed by the Obama administration; as a means to stimulate a dying economy and create jobs. “It went to companies like Solyndra, with their gold-plated connections, subsidized jobs and make-believe markets. The stimulus was a case of political patronage, corporate welfare and cronyism at their worst,” Ryan reinforced.

Conversely, President Obama made a series of energy claims, including renewable, during his acceptance speech, framing his energy policies as a success, and doubling down on his commitment to invest in clean energy.

Additionally, Obama denounced corporate welfare for oil companies at a convention that according to The Center for Public Integrity, was funded by “deep-pocketed corporate donors,” and one year to the day after Solyndra declared bankruptcy.

Steve Spinner: Obama Bundler and Former DOE Loan Programs Advisor 

More amusing perhaps is the fact that the DNC rolled out the red carpet for the president's buddy, Steve Spinner, Obama bundler and former top advisor at the Department of Energy (DOE). Spinner, well known for his involvement and influence (ongoing investigation and internal emails prove) to the ill-fated, politically connected Solyndra, was spotted on the DNC stage, yet bolted for the exit as ABC news made several attempts to interview him.

Over the past two years, it has become perfectly clear that the Solyndra saga, once the poster child for the president's clean energy initiative, has morphed into the template for Obama's green corruption scandal: political payback. Yet, as most concluded a while ago, Solyndra is only the tip of the iceberg.

While this saga warrants an entire chapter, Spinner's part has been widely reported, including the fact that his wife's law firm was representing the California solar company, In October 2011, ABC News reported, "Allison Spinner's law firm, Wilson Sonsini, received $2.4 million in federal funds for legal fees related to the $535 million Energy Department loan guarantee to Solyndra."

Further, it is generally known that George Kaiser, an Oklahoma billionaire and another Obama bundler, was a 35 percent owner of Solyndra. In 2009 (at a Rotary Club event), Kaiser admitted  he, "...was trying to get as much of Obama's giant stimulus payout as possible." It turns out that Mr. Kaiser made multiple visits to the White House in the months before the company was granted that huge September 2009 DOE loan. Also, top Solyndra officials made their fair share of visits to the White House (20 visits between March 12, 2009, and April 14, 2011), as reported by The Daily Caller in August 2011.

An insulting aspect came when we found out that then-CEO Chris Gronet bragged, “The Bank of Washington continues to help us!” –– reports The Heritage Foundation this year. However, Solyndra executives didn't have much to say two years later, as they invoked their Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and did not answer any questions asked by the House Energy Committee.

What most don't know is that Fitch rated the Solyndra loan non-investment grade back in 2009, as revealed by the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in March 2012. Even so, Solyndra was not the only excessively risky loan doled out by the DOE. Through the DOE’s 1705 Loan Guarantee Program, over $16 billion of taxpayer money was used to fund 26 alternative energy projects; of which 23 were junk rated.

In a twist of fate, the DOE’s junk bond portfolio is where you’ll discover that 90 percent of these firms representing these projects have meaningful ties (bundlers and donors) to President Obama (at least 16) and other high-ranking Democrats; or both, with four to Senator Harry Reid alone.

But the Solyndra saga continues...

As Rep. Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, pushes for more Solyndra emails, the high-powered list of players caught up in this drama, from inside the DOE all the way to the White House, is already long and the details are so convoluted that I can only anticipate a reality show to air soon.

What started as an unworthy investment, snagged a 2010 White House endorsement, only to become a PR nightmare that included a loan restructuring (an apparent violation of the law) and even a plot to hide their troubles from the 2010 midterm glare. Solyndra became a cautionary tale of sorts: a failed Obama green investment, one of the first to go kaput, unethical executive bonuses included, leaving in its wake FBI raids, and a trail of resignations and damning emails, all evidence that Obama's "clean" energy is dirty.

Solyndra was a client of Goldman Sachs, and is credited as the “exclusive financial adviser,” Bloomberg notes. Goldman Sachs, as I discovered long ago, has their DNA all over this green-energy crony-corruption scandal. Goldman Sachs was the number two top Obama Donor that gave more than $1 million dollars to his 2008 campaign. Furthermore, two Goldman executives sat on Obama's 2008 finance committee and two were bundlers for his 2008 campaign.

In addition to Spinner, Kaiser, Solyndra executives, and Goldman Sachs, we can add David Mann, a lobbyist and Obama Super Pac donor, who lobbied for Solyndra, to this saga. Recently The Washington Free Beacon (a great source for this scandal) uncovered that Mann was granted significant access to the White House, “He met with White House officials four times in under two years between 2010 and 2012.” The Beacon goes on, “Solyndra is the most prominent of Mann’s failed clients, but it is far from the only one.”

Moreover, GOP substantiated research informs us that, "every Obama Chief Of Staff, staffers across numerous agencies, government watchdogs, even Solyndra investors knew that the risks were too high for taxpayers."

Solyndra, which came from humble junk beginnings, now has its place in history: an art exhibit at the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley, at the price tag of half a billion taxpayer dollars.

Now, it's unclear why former Vice President Al Gore's presence was missed at the DNC (climate change drama possibly), especially since he was a strong Obama supporter in 2008. Also, Gore's firm, Kleiner Perkins, along with his friend and partner, billionaire John Doerr, considered "a very big-ticket Obama donor" by New York Magazine, who in February 2011 hosted a star-studded billionaire Silicon Valley dinner for the president, raked in billions of stimulus money for their clean-energy investments. The conflict runs deeper, as Doerr sits on the president's job council, and early on ultimately shaped what went into the energy section of the 2009 Obama stimulus package.

Kleiner Perkins is a firm that I began to unravel in 2010, stressing that over fifty percent of their Greentech Portfolio secured all kinds of loans, grants, and special tax breaks; yet it’s a firm to eventually revisit, because since 2010, they have tripled their green investments and there is much more to expose.

Amyris Biotechnologies, not on the media's radar, is a very relevant story, of which author Schweizer reveals that on “November 18, 2009, "Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein and her husband invested $1 million into Amyris, and just weeks after her seven-figure investment in Amyris, the company scored a $24 million grant from the Department of Energy (DOE)." 

As of 2011, the Obama administration had already approved loans, grants, tax breaks for over forty percent (eight out of seventeen) of The Westly Group’s green investments. Besides the three listed above, are CalStar Products, EdenIQ, Solexel, Soladigm, and RecycleBank. However, what is not widely reported is that The Westly Group's clean-tech portfolio and Kleiner Perkins greentech have some of the same investments that received government subsidies like RecycleBank (see my 2010 investigation on RecycleBank) as well as Amonix and EdenIQ.

Westly is also tied to Kleiner Perkins in other ways, and shares some of the same investments as Kholsa Ventures. Goldman Sachs and others are all part of that elite "green society" that I've alluded to quite a few times, those who snagged multiple green-energy government contracts.

Tom Steyer, Senior Managing Partner of Farallon Capital Management: Obama Bundler

Billionaire Tom Steyer, another Obama bundler, who, like most prominent Obama fundraisers, has enjoyed relatively easy access to the White House, and has met with senior White House officials in the West Wing on at least four occasions.

Mr. Steyer opened his DNC speech with a Romney tax joke; then quickly moved to his green energy pitch and President Obama's vision, "This is about investing for the long haul, not for a quick-and-dirty buck," Steyer proclaimed.

As noted in The Washington Free Beacon, Steyer, "Is reportedly one of the backers of Greener Capital, which invests in alternative fuel companies that benefit from the anti-oil policies of the Obama administration. Steyer is also the founder and senior managing partner of Farallon Capital Management, which stands to profit from government policies that increase consumption of natural gas."

The Beacon goes on to give more interesting tidbits about Steyer being a Goldman Sachs protegé of Robert Rubin, but what caught my attention is that while Mr. Styers' alternative energy investments are quite impressive, he also "owns millions of dollars worth of shares in Big Oil companies such as BP."

Speaking of quick-and-dirty bucks.

According to Politico in 2010, Obama is the biggest recipient of BP donations over the past twenty years, and BP has invested big in clean energy. BP Alternative Energy includes BrightSource Energy, the recipient of $1.6 billion in DOE loans, a shady transaction that involves other high-profile political connections to the White House as well as a DOE insider.

Still, BP were winners of more Obama stimulus money; like a $308 million federal DOE grant in 2009 to Hydrogen Energy California, a joint partnership of BP and the multinational mining firm, Rio Tinto, a project considered by the right as a waste of taxpayer money, with mixed reviews by environmentalists.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times in early October 2011, BP subsidiary BP Wind Energy also took advantage of a provision, the production tax credit set to expire at the end of 2012, that had “previously been extended by President Obama’s politically unpopular 2009 stimulus,” and was the recipient of a tax credit for their wind farm in Kansas.

The Times goes on, “The wind industry has been heavily reliant on federal tax credits as it expands,” noting the investment tax credit for new wind projects popularity: “It has awarded more than $8.4 billion in renewable-energy tax credits since 2009, with roughly $6.7 billion going toward wind projects alone, according to U.S. Treasury award data.”

BP Solar unit of BP PLC (based in London) received $11.7 million in 48C credits, despite the fact that this project is creating jobs overseas, aligning them to others on my radar that are outsourcing so called green jobs: First Solar and Sun Power.

This too, was another brainchild of the Recovery Act: the Advanced Energy Manufacturing (48C) Tax Credit, "a $2.3 billion program that provides a 30 percent tax credit for investment in advanced energy manufacturing facilities." However, the records by the Appollo Alliance (Winning the Race, March 2010) –– the left-wing organization which help craft the 2009-stimulus package –– reflect that  "41 percent of the funds awarded through the Stimulus’ 48c Advanced Manufacturing Program went to foreign based companies which were awarded on average $20 million versus $11 million for U.S. companies."

Jim Rogers, Chairman of Duke Energy: DNC Host and Obama Donor 
 
A party wouldn't be complete without a wealthy host: Jim Rogers, the chairman of Duke Energy, the nation’s largest electric power company, whose participation at the Democratic convention was vast:  a contributor, creditor, host, and even a speaker. Rogers appeared on the DNC stage as a "grandfather, to lay the groundwork for a cleaner, more sustainable future."

Two intriguing articles (with different perspectives, of course) highlight Mr. Rogers’ politics and energy, The Huffington Post and The Washington Free Beacon, both expanding on the fact that Rogers had once told The Wall Street Journal this spring, “If you’re not at the table, you’re going to be on the menu.”

Rogers is a registered Democrat, and while prior to 2008, he and his wife had contributed to Republican candidates; they now give more generously to Democratic politicians, including President Obama. Meanwhile the Duke Energy Political Action Committee was also a Republican supporter in the past, yet the tide turned in 2010.

What is indisputable is that Rogers, “labeled a hypocrite amongst environmentalists" (so says The Huffington Post piece), is not on the menu like the taxpayers; he's at Obama's green table indeed, and happens to be one of the major players in this green energy scheme. In fact, Rogers was even on the short list to become President Obama’s Energy Secretary.

An illuminating analysis by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) came out in August 2011, noting Duke Energy, along with General Electric and General Motors' “appetites for government giveaways,“ and how Duke got a healthy dose from Obama's 2009 stimulus package.

Evidently, all three support cap-and-trade policies (although the NLPC says, "it appears GM has left the US Climate Action Partnership," you'll find many more green-energy corruption players on that list), a disastrous piece of legislation that if passed will cripple our economy; yet guarantee them huge profits.

In 2009, the DOE awarded Duke Energy a $200 million stimulus smart-grid grant to support projects in the Midwest, and $4 million for smaller projects in North and South Carolina. Further, Duke was the recipient of a $22 million DOE grant (although I read somewhere that it was more like $90 million) for it's Notrees Windpower project in Texas, for which General Electric is supplying the wind turbines.

GE, another top 2008 Obama donor, and recipient of over $3 billion of Obama green cash, even as its CEO Jeffrey Immelt is the chairman of President Obama's Job Council, landed over 26 percent of the turbine manufacturer contracts from the billions of wind energy grants that blew out of the stimulus package in February 2010.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, Duke Energy also received, "A $350,000 grant to assist General Motors in the development of the Chevrolet Volt."  Well, it seems that Vice President Joe Biden will have to change his current campaign slogan, "bin Laden is still dead, and GM is on life support." Oh and that Chevy Volt, another Obama green investment failure, has a new deep-pocketed customer: the Pentagon, which means taxpayers; again.

Center for American Progress: The CAP Connection

While Steve Spinner left his post at Center for American Progress (CAP) around the same time he resigned from the DOE, both Tom Steyer and Duke Energy have strong and expensive connections to this left wing think tank.

CAP, on my green corruption radar since 2010, is closely aligned with the White House, and John Podesta (CAP founder and former president) was the co-chairman of the Obama-Biden transition team. Tony Podesta, on the other hand, is a principal at the Podesta Group, which he started with his brother John, another large green entity, as Marita Noon (Townhall.com columnist) and I pointed out when covering their connection to the $737 million SolarReserve DOE loan, via our Special Seven Series, which we concluded last month.

Obviously, CAP and the Podesta bothers are heavily implicated here, as they have much to gain from renewable energy investments and anti-oil policies. Both Tony Podesta and his wife Heather, a Washington power couple, are frequent White House visitors who enjoy high rank in lobbying power, and Democrat bundling as well.

In Closing

So the next time President Obama pledges to end corporate welfare for oil companies or any other industry for that matter, he may consider checking his party's suppliers and program lineup first; in other words, his back pocket.

As the GOP nominee to be President of the United States, it would seem reasonable to expect that members of your own political Party would support you.

Apparently, for Mitt Romney, that is an unreasonable expectation.

Peggy Noonan, a former speech writer for President Ronald Reagan (who joined with Colin Powell in turning their backs on the Republican Party while publically supporting Barack Obama in 2008), wrote of Romney’s campaign that “an intervention” is needed  because it is “incompetent”.

Noonan continued: “It’s not big, it’s not brave, it’s not thoughtfully tackling great issues.  It’s always been too small for the moment.  All the activists, party supporters and big donors should be pushing for change.”

She doubled down later, when she said: “The Romney campaign has to get turned around. This week I called it incompetent, but only because I was being polite. I really meant ‘rolling calamity.’”

This is not entirely unexpected from someone who’s credentials were built on being a speech writer for a President who had very little need for speechwriters, who of her own free will turned her back on her political Party to publically support an obviously inexperienced, unqualified, community organizer who was manufactured into a pop star candidate by institutionalized “progressive” leftists in America’s media.  A candidate who had never run a business, never met a payroll…who had voted “present” over one hundred times as an Illinois State Senator.  A candidate who had lived his entire life not only surrounded by anti-American radicals, but who when in school actively sought them out.

The attacks coming from Bill Kristol, editor of the 'Weekly Standard', who worked as chief of staff to former Vice President Dan Quayle, are less explainable. 

Recently, Kristol wrote: “It remains important for the country that Romney wins in November (unless he chooses to step down and we get the Ryan-Rubio ticket we deserve!).   But that shouldn’t blind us to the fact that Romney’s comments, like those of Obama four years ago, are stupid and arrogant.  Has there been a presidential race in modern times featuring two candidates who have done so little over their lifetimes for our country, and who have so little substance to say about the future of our country?”

When Kristol states that this election features “two candidates who have done so little over their lifetimes for our country” is he honestly comparing a former community organizer (radicalizer) who since moving into the White House has continuously placed obstacles in the path of job creating small businesses, stifled energy development, socialized huge portions of the private sector economy, and created catastrophic  chaos overseas, to a capital investor who succeeded within the American free market enterprise system, saved businesses from insolvency, created jobs, protected the nation from international embarrassment when he rescued the Salt Lake City Olympic Games from bankruptcy, who as Governor reduced his State’s debt without raising taxes while improving their schools to the best in the country?  Or is Kristol just trying to sound important in hopes of remaining relevant?

If this can be counted on from Republicans, who needs Kaili Joy Gray of the Daily Kos?

Gray gleefully joins in the “pile on Mitt Romney” festivities, but prefers to first attack the candidate’s wife: “Ann Romney is once again up on her gold-plated cross, and she's got another message for the ingrates out there who don't appreciate how hard it is to be her.

During an interview early this evening with Radio Iowa, Mrs. Romney directly addressed her fellow Republicans who’ve criticized her husband.

‘Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring.  This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country’.”

When Gray does quit picking on the candidate’s MS stricken, breast cancer surviving wife and slithers off to attack Mr. Romney, the following spews forth: “It really is a message that would resonate well if they could just get past some of their biases that have been there from the Democratic machines that have made us look like we don’t care about this community.  But no. You people just won't let up, with the mockery of the Romneys' car elevator; with the questions about all those millions stashed away in secret bank accounts; with the outright disgust at Ann's tales of woe about struggling to survive on Mitt's inherited stock portfolio.”

Gray and Kos have carefully aligned themselves with the class warfare strategy of the White House re-election campaign.

In the final weeks of what is an extremely important tipping point election, possibly the most significant American election since the 1860s, is it really too much to ask for Republican pundits and journalists to at least offer constructive criticism instead of plain old Daily Kos style attacks?

With friends like Noonan and Kristol, who needs Gray?

On December 3, 2011, in the dead of night, President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. On that day, the Bill of Rights was shattered in the interest of the “War on Terror.” He also wrote a signing statement saying that “my administration will not detain American Citizens” and was very hesitant to sign the bill into law.
A few days ago, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals placed Section 1021 of the NDAA back into effect.
The NDAA is typically a mundane bill that appropriates funding for the military for the current year. However, Section 1021 (b) (2) in the 2012 NDAA allows anyone, including American citizens, to be detained indefinitely by the military…no trial, no charges, no day in court.

When the NDAA was signed into law, I, along with many others, took notice and took action. Tangerine Bolen (founder of Revolution Truth), Journalist Chris Hedges, Birgitta Jónsdóttir, Professor Noam Chomsky, Daniel Ellsberg, Kai Wargalla, and Alexa O’Brien filed a lawsuit against the NDAA within 30 days of its signing. They would become known as the “Freedom 7” and were immediately launched into the spotlight.In May, Federal Judge Katherine Forrest, in the strongest ruling for civil liberties since 9-11, agreed with the plaintiffs and declared the NDAA unconstitutional placing an temporary injunction on the law. In her ruling, she specifically stated: “This measure has a chilling impact on First Amendment rights.” In that same ruling, she specifically stated that her ruling applied to and protected the general public:

As set forth above, this Court has found that plaintiffs have shown a likelihood of success on the merits regarding their constitutional claim and it therefore has a responsibility to insure that the strong constitutional rights are protected.
Accordingly, this Court finds that the strong public interest is best served by the issuance of the preliminary relief recited herein.

As I wrote in “Government Defies Federal Judge on NDAA,” the government response was swift. In a 10 page Motion for Reconsideration, the government stated:

The government construes this Court’s Order as applying only as to the named plaintiffs in this suit.

This Motion directly defied Judge Forrest’s ruling, which clearly applied to the public, and her response was just as swift. She told the government lawyers “to put it bluntly” her order most definitely applied to the public. This should have been the end of it, but the government appealed the ruling…setting the stage for what was to come.
On Wednesday, September 12, Judge Forrest once again took a stand for civil liberties by ruling that the temporary injunction against the enforcement of the NDAA’s detention provisions is now permanent. Much like after her preliminary injunction, the internet rejoiced. That evening, “People Against the NDAA” put out a press release stating:

Based on her earlier temporary injunction, this ruling was expected. However, it is not time to celebrate. Based on the Obama Administration’s  previous action an Appeal or a Motion for Reconsideration will likely be filed. The administration has also not said whether or not it is enforcing the NDAA, according to a letter  from lawsuit organizer Tangerine Bolen. The case will then go to an appeal court.

Sure enough, within 24 hours, the Obama Administration appealed the ruling. The Administration’s lawyers said that this injunction could cause “irreparable harm” to the national security of the United States and the war on terrorism. This appeal flies in the face of the President’s signing statement, his statements to reporters, and the Constitution.

On top of the appeal, on Monday, Judge Raymond Lohier of the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals granted a temporary stay of Judge Katherine Forrest’s injunction against the NDAA. On the 28th of September, the Court will hear arguments on whether to make that stay permanent or not.

Since May, Judge Forrest had prevented the NDAA from being used anywhere in the world. Now, the NDAA is back in full effect, and you can be indefinitely detained without a trial or a day in court. Thanks to the Obama Administration, America is again the battlefield.

Happy Constitution Week!

This may shock you.

According to Aaron Blake of The Washington Post, "Either we’re at a turning point in the 2012 election, or a lot of pollsters are getting it wrong." 

Apparently the small bump in polling in Obama's favor following the party conventions did not hold out just as many thought they wouldn't, and nationally, Obama and Romney are still showing basically at a tie. However, several other polls that were conducted at the state level showed a slightly different story than national polls did. Blake continued: 

"Almost every state-specific poll in the last few days has shown progress for Democrats — both at the presidential level and in the very important contest for the Senate — with some showing unprecedented leads for the blue side in the the most important states.

Swing-state polls from CBS News, the New York Times and Quinnipiac University released Wednesday morning in three key states — Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin — showed Obama either gaining since last month or, in the case of Virginia, holding his lead.

And Fox News polls released Wednesday evening showed Obama with a solid lead in the three biggest swing states; he’s up by seven points each in Ohio and Virginia and five points in Florida. The results confirm polls from NBC News and Marist College in the same three states last week.

A Washington Post poll released Tuesday confirms the movement in Virginia, with Obama up by an unprecedented eight points. And a Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday supports the idea that the race in Wisconsin has shifted, with Obama leading by an astounding 14 points.

Even if some of these margins seem a little big, just consider that even the best polls for Romney haven’t shown him with that kind of lead in these states — or really anything close to it. In fact, Nate Silver points out that, of the 16 live-interview swing state polls conducted in the last two weeks, Obama is leading in all of them except Colorado by at least four points.

Prior to this week, it was rare that polls showed Obama leading by five points or more in any swing state; in those 16 states, he leads by an average of 5.8 points.

And just as much as the presidential race, the battle for the Senate appears to be moving toward Democrats.

As The Fix’s Sean Sullivan reported Wednesday, multiple polls in top Senate races in Massachusetts, Virginia and Wisconsin in recent days show the Democratic candidates in those states gaining big — larger shifts than any we’ve seen so far this cycle. If Democrats can win even two of those states, it will put a sizeable dent in the GOP’s chances of gaining the three or four seats they need to take control of the Senate — an outcome that was very attainable for Republicans at the start of the cycle.

The question from here is whether these swing-state and Senate polls reflect a momentary bounce and spike in enthusiasm among Democrats or whether they show a more lasting shift in the electoral landscape. Only time will tell.

What’s clear to this point, though, is that the movement has been significant in the states that matter most."

If this apparent swing in polls disturbs you, then perhaps you just have to wait a couple years. Blake also said Thursday in another article that whatever the outcome of this election, the GOP shows strong promises of becoming the senate majority following the 2014 elections. 

Of course, you could point to pollsters and say what do they know. This doesn't take away from the importance that is attributed to polls every election. 

Rumor has it Obama expects to lose the election! HOORAY!!!! His mother-in-law is quoted as saying she has seen the new house in Hawaii where they will live starting January of next year!

Already throwing in the towel even though the media has him leading in the polls!

That's incredible; but then we shouldn't expect too much from an inexperienced Commander-In-Chief who never had a backbone forged by military experience!

Still; if he moves his family there I can no longer recognize Hawaii as a state of the union; harboring a known felon. Hawaii must pay for their insurrections of the last four years. Justice must be served.

I therefore am starting the movement now to force Hawaii to secede from the union and become an autonomous country.

It will be renamed Obamanation and be Obama's exile land permanently, never again to be allowed to set foot on U.S. soil.

NO USURPERS ALLOWED signs shall be placed every 300 feet along the U.S. west coast facing Hawaii; lest he ever forget what he is!
