I was thinking yesterday we hardly ever hear explanations as whats going wrong with our economy or Obama's fiscal policy in terms we can all understand. One of the great successes of the 2012 campaign for the DNC was Axelrod’s and his teams ability to get across the “Hope and still needs changing” theme to the great under informed voter at large. I might hate the guys politics but he managed a great team, developed strategies that delivered the message via every medium and totally glossed over the fact his boss was a liar and a cheat.  Frankly, I am impressed. Wish I could say the same thing about Rove and his stupid white boards!

However, back to Economics. So forget Keynes and FDR's “New Deal”, forget the Gold Standard they all have merit to the conversation but to be honest, have no meaning to the low information voter.  I thought I would try and explain in an analogy the basic concept behind the Obama's economic stimulus and recovery plan.

Analogy A (Aimed at Low Information women voters)  The recovery driven bet!

Ms A...look at your partner, yes the one drinking beer in front of the game. Imagine he is managing the family's finances. Right, its getting close to mortgage check posting time and you are wondering why he's so desperately focused on the game. Well what you don't know is your partner thinks he’s smarter than the rest of us therefore, decided that saving is for mugs. Instead he's got a system and is betting the mortgage money with a Vegas Bookie.  But don't worry as soon as The Cardinals beat the Giants by 20 points you can pay the mortgage and if Black 32 comes up, get a new car! Might happen right, so don't worry...trust him?

You then check the mail, Oh OH..one from the Bank, you are in arrears and have a month to pay or lose your family home. Hey Bill what's going on why didn't you pay last months payment? “Its OK babe trust me I have a system..this month the cardinals are going to win!” Oh BTW I put the kids college fund on Black 32...just watch we are going to be rich!

OK a huge simplification but in reality a pretty close approximation as to Obama's fiscal plan. Obama is betting the US economy on a short term recovery, that recovery needs to be deep and deliver 34+% growth in tax revenues before 2015.  The last 4 years have shown stagnant flat growth and in fact a worsening of the disposable income each family has to live on.  Obama pitched the low information voter in 2012 on “it just needs a little more time to work”...In other words “I have a system, don’t worry as soon as Black 32 comes up and the Cardinals win the Super Bowl” America will be rich. Obama is like the Vegas gambler betting the rent money and running up $6bn on his credit card certain his numbers will come up on the next spin of the wheel.

Hobby Lobby May Close

When my family and I started our company 40 years ago, we were working
out of a garage on a $600 bank loan, assembling miniature picture
frames.. Our first retail store wasn’t much bigger than most people’s
living rooms, but we had faith that we would succeed if we lived and
worked according to God’s word. From there, Hobby Lobby has become one
of the nation’s largest arts and crafts retailers, with more than 500
locations in 41 states. Our children grew up into fine business
leaders, and today we run Hobby Lobby together, as a family.

We’re Christians, and we run our business on Christian principles. I’ve
always said that the first two goals of our business are (1) to run our
business in harmony with God’s laws, and (2) to focus on people more
than money. And that’s what we’ve tried to do. We close early so our
employees can see their families at night. We keep our stores closed on
Sundays, one of the week’s biggest shopping days, so that our workers
and their families can enjoy a day of rest. We believe that it is by
God’s grace that Hobby Lobby has endured, and he has blessed us and our
employees. We’ve not only added jobs in a weak economy, we’ve raised
wages for the past four years in a row. Our full-time employees start
at 80% above minimum wage.

But now, our government threatens to change all of that. A new
government healthcare mandate says that our family business MUST
provide what I believe are abortion-causing drugs as part of our health
insurance. Being Christians, we don’t pay for drugs that might cause
abortions, which means that we don’t cover emergency contraception, the
morning-after pill or the week-after pill. We believe doing so might
end a life after the moment of conception, something that is contrary
to our most important beliefs. It goes against the Biblical principles
on which we have run this company since day one. If we refuse to
comply, we could face $1.3 million PER DAY in government fines.

Our government threatens to fine job creators in a bad economy. Our
government threatens to fine a company that’s raised wages four years
running. Our government threatens to fine a family for running its
business according to its beliefs. It’s not right. I know people will
say we ought to follow the rules; that it’s the same for everybody.
But that’s not true. The government has exempted thousands of companies
from this mandate, for reasons of convenience or cost. But it won’t
exempt them for reasons of religious belief.

So, Hobby Lobby and my family are forced to make a choice. With great
reluctance, we filed a lawsuit today, represented by the Becket Fund
for Religious Liberty, asking a federal court to stop this mandate
before it hurts our business. We don’t like to go running into court,
but we no longer have a choice. We believe people are more important
than the bottom line and that honoring God is more important than
turning a profit.

My family has lived the American dream. We want to continue growing
our company and providing great jobs for thousands of employees, but
the government is going to make that much more difficult. The
government is forcing us to choose between following our faith and
following the law. I say that’s a choice no American and no American
business should have to make.

The government cannot force you to follow laws that go against your
fundamental religious belief. They have exempted thousands of companies
but will not except Christian organizations including the Catholic
church.

Since you will not see this in the liberal media, please pass this on
to all your contacts.

The Federal Government, originally intended to take care of things States could not handle in a way intended to avoid affecting our day to day lives, is now inserting itself into everything we say and do. In other words the Federal Government is, in fact, attempting to control everything about our lives. They want to decide what we eat, what healthcare we get, what we drive and they want to disarm the civilian population while ramping up the ability of every federal agency except the conventional military to handle an armed conflict.

What conflict might that be and who is the threat? If the danger is foreign wouldn't a well armed militia go a long way toward protecting our country from physical invasion or even Jihadists? If the danger were missiles, how would the hand held weapons and crowd control devices they seek help? If they seek to aid US citizens in emergencies or disasters wouldn't field hospitals, doctors, nurses, ambulances, rescue vehicles and vaccines be more important than bullets and armament?

Whatever the plan, “the most transparent administration in history” is not sharing it with us and that is enough to sound an alarm. At this point job one must be to do everything possible to protect our second amendment rights. To that end I would suggest you support theSecond Amendment Foundation which was instrumental in halting the gun confiscations in New Orleans following Katrina and The National Rifle Association  which has been our best defense and most powerful advocate for many years. Whatever you do, pretending that nothing is wrong can only lead to disaster.

My late momma taught my siblings and I to never put family business in the street. However, my Tea Party family must deal with this issue if we are to accomplish our mission to halt Obama's tyranny and transformation of America into his socialist/progressive dream. The issue of which I speak is unity.

Early in our Tea Party movement four years ago, I was shocked to encounter turf wars and various selfish agendas. The people, the patriots who invest time and money for the movement, are not the problem. I am talking about some in leadership positions.

A major Tea Party website banned me from posting because I mentioned another Tea Party group. I thought, aren't we all on the same team? I quickly learned that we were not. Some opportunists joined the Tea Party simply because it was the hot new thing.

Then there are the single issue folks. If your Tea Party group does not channel all of it's efforts to the issue of which I am most passionate, I quit!

Let us not forget the doom and gloom folks. Their emails are as followed, “Lloyd you are an idiot for even trying to make a difference. Both parties are hopelessly corrupt.” No one, I repeat, no one can foresee the future well enough to be completely fatalistic. Numerous times in my life, when all hope appeared to be lost, God intervened. Thus, I have learned to move forward always attempting to do the right thing and deliver my best at whatever God has put in front of me to do.

The Bible says,“One can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight.” (Deuteronomy 32:30) In other words, our efforts are greatly increased when we work together.

Round one of the battle to restore America is over - Socialism won via Obama's reelection. As we enter round two, it is more crucial than ever that we put aside pettiness and selfishness. We must come together to save the greatest nation on the planet. Am I talking about sacrificing core beliefs? Absolutely not.

Patriots, there will always be issues on which we disagree. Such is human nature. Someone said if you find a perfect church, please do not join it because you will mess it up. I am simply asking that we be more diligent in finding common ground – areas in which we do agree and work together for the greater good.

Ronald Reagan said, “There is no limit to what you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit.” Patriots, I do not care who gets the credit. I just want to see stronger opposition to Obama's agenda.

Obama and company are destroying our country folks. America can not survive with us fighting about who gets to sit on the front row.

Please do not think that I am being Mr High & Mighty preaching to you. In my youth, I made the mistake of making certain situations about me resulting in embarrassing consequences. When you come to a situation thinking, how can I help, and how can I make a positive difference, good things happen for all involved.

Brothers and sisters, the battle is much, much bigger than us. America, freedom and liberty are at stake.

Someone should organize Tea Party Unity rallies – groups across America coming together showing solidarity in our shared mission to restore America.

Do not allow one group to hog the stage – each Tea Party group should be equally represented. Do not allow an ego driven long winded knucklehead speaker who is disrespectful of their allotted time assignment to hijack the rally. The rallies must be about serving the attendees and not about individual egos or agendas. We can no longer waste time, energy and resources on such selfish nonsense.

Every time the Obama media hears negative news and in-fighting in the Tea Party, they have an orgasm. Since our inception, Obama's media has tried to portray white Tea Party members as redneck racists against a black president and black members such as I as Uncle Tom sellouts.

Karl Rove recently revealed that the Tea Party is also in the cross-hairs of the GOP.

So brothers and sisters, it is our patriotic duty to be on our best behavior. Cease in-fighting and come together focused on achieving our divinely inspired common goal of restoring America back to the vision of our Founding Fathers and the Constitution.

If we, the Tea Party, do not save America, no one will. God Bless.

The Obama Justice Department is arguing in the United States Supreme Court that children do not need mothers.

The Justice Department’s argument on the superfluity of motherhood is presented in a brief the Obama administration filed in the case of Hollingsworth v. Perry, which challenges the constitutionality of Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that amended California’s Constitution to say that marriage involves only one man and one woman.

The Justice Department presented its conclusions about parenthood in rebutting an argument made by proponents of Proposition 8 that the traditional two-parent family, led by both a mother and a father, was the ideal place, determined even by nature itself, to raise a child.

The Obama administration argues this is not true. It argues that children need neither a father nor a mother and that having two fathers or two mothers is just as good as having one of each.

“The [California] Voter Guide arguably offered a distinct but related child-rearing justification for Proposition 8: ‘the best situation for a child is to be raised by a married mother and father,’” said the administration’s brief submitted to the court by Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr.

ICE union head on deporting welfare-dependents: ‘We are not permitted to enforce that statute. Period’

The legal prohibition on new immigrants becoming primarily reliant on government assistance for subsistence — or public charges — is never enforced, Chris Crane, an ICE agent and president of the ICE agent’s union told reporters on a conference call Thursday afternoon.

“It is certainly part of what we are supposed to be doing, it is definitely a federal statute within the [Immigration and Nationality Act],” he said when asked about the enforcement of the century-old public charge restriction. “However I will say this: that in my career, I have never seen or heard of the charge being applied in any case to anyone.”

Crane — whose union is in the midst of a lawsuit against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, ICE Director John Morton, and U.S. Customs and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas over the administration’s changes to immigration policy — noted that even officers who have been in the agency longer than his ten years have told him they have never seen or heard it employed.

When we watch and listen to President Obama on any day, anyone with any prior recorded speeches, memory, and/or other experience must come to a decision that as President Obama says one thing today is, perhaps, opposite of his expressions of yesterday and/or yesteryear. 

It appears President Obama’s decisions include lack of professionalism in leadership, his appointments, etc., as well as in improving our weakened economy.  President Obama’s political decisions are near most ‘opposite thinking’ of any and all successful decisions that have been fruitful in working so well for our economy in more than 200 years.  Additionally, we read, see, and hear of catastrophes within the Justice Department, National Security, tax-evasion appointees, and the $831 billion ‘Stimulus’ potential frauds; many involve approving America’s taxpayers’ money awarded to friends and donors of the White House and Capitol Hill Democrats.

After more than four years of blaming President George Bush for Obama’s failing economy, President Obama is now blaming Speaker Boehner and Congressional Republicans for his own political and fiscal failures.  When will this ‘childlike’ President accept any of his own irresponsibility? 

While President Obama’s friend and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has, in four consecutive years, failed to pass a Senate ‘budget’ as required by law, President Obama continues to praise Sen. Reid’s failures of Constitutional law.

President Obama’s record illustrates how our economy continues to slump as reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics with ‘U-6 Total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force unemployment heights’ nears ‘depression’ levels of 14.4% as managed under Obama’s failed political and fiscal policies.

Additionally, President Obama’s political policy failures seem to be based on National Security. Obama’s team lacks competence exposing failures of Embassy employees, who were under a terrorist attack for seven hours that left U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other U.S. nationals to die on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya; and without the US Consulate’s requested assistances for help.

Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration continue to focus on, not what the failures were and/or what may have prevented these lives, but to repeat that this Administration’s efforts are to make sure it doesn’t happen again.  There were serious failures as if some on the Obama team may have been unknowing, uncaring, intoxicated, and/or on drugs, rather than being knowing, caring, sober, alert, and on the job. 

News reports say President Obama, himself, never had any telephone communications during this time frame.  American servants deserve more than as was provided these four Americans as they were dying in this instance.

Lest we forget Fast and Furious!  Evidence may prove that several associates in President Obama’s administration, including the US Justice Department, and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) acted in the Fast and Furious plot while selling and/or approving the sale of automatic rifles, shotguns, and pistols, to a ‘Mexican drug cartel’; weapons that were used in ‘murdering’ at least 3 innocent Americans and hundreds of Mexicans. Our Justice Department and/or ATF had devised a scheme in an attempt to blame U.S. firearms manufacturers as scapegoats for this criminal violence.

There are even more continuing failures.  Are you confused?  From President Obama’s News Transcript on March 1, 2013, President Obama says, “Look, we've already cut $2.5 trillion in our deficit.”  How, what, where, and when has President Obama cut $2.5 Trillion?  Please, show the facts!  

The National debt has increased by more than $6 trillion since President Barack Obama took office, marking the largest increase under any president in history.

US Government and Obama’s Deficits are for: FY 2010: $1.293 Trillion; FY 2011: $1.300 Trillion; FY 2012: $1.089 Trillion; and FY 2013* $901 Billion (Note: Federal Deficit is budgeted.)  The National debt under President Obama’s ‘clock’ has now exceeded $6 Trillion.

Lastly, while President Obama continues to promise and repeatedly claims ‘transparency’, he and his administration practice the opposite.  Worse of all, he is failing America and our citizens and our children on all social, fiscal, and national security issues.
