Tired of politicians that place party over the people?  Blame the 17^th Amendment to the Constitution.

Most of America is frustrated with the ineffectiveness of government.   Gridlock, confrontation and ideology are the norm and very little concern is given to the issues that concern the voters.  We live under a system where the politicians no longer answer to the people; instead they serve only the interests of the party.  There can be no compromise when the party leadership places its interest above those that they purportedly represent.

George Washington, probably the greatest and most prescient leader in our history warned in his farewell address that party politics was the bane of liberty.  Stating,

“[Parties] … may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”  

In the United States of America today, we see that no person, however intelligent, honorable or respected can be elected to even the least of public offices without the approval and support of either of the two major parties.   These parties, in turn, control which candidates run for elections in districts in every region of the country.   Money from the party overwhelms the resources of local candidates and chills the desire of knowledgeable and qualified patriots from participating.   Through redistricting, rural areas with traditional beliefs are disenfranchised by inclusion into districts that have metropolitan communities having opposing political interests and overwhelming numbers.  During a conversation with the manager of my representative’s local office, it was openly explained to me, that my interests and those of my neighbors were of little concern to congressman because the majority of his constituents were located in a metropolitan county 300 miles south of us.  It was these voters who had elected him and it was their interests that were his main concern.  His voting record has done nothing to contradict this revelation.

A republic is a messy system of government.  It is nearly as messy as a democracy.  The benefit of a republic is that it protects the interests of the individual from the greed and prejudices of the majority.  It is a fact that, in a democracy, 51 percent of the people will always vote to oppress 49 percent of the people.  This is the lynchpin for the social democratic philosophy.  You can buy the votes of the majority with the wealth of the minority.  This is what George Washington was warning us of.

Our government is simple in its complexity.  The genius of the Constitution lies in the distribution of power among the three separate branches of government.  The House of Representatives is the voice of the people, and was intended to represent the democratic nature of our republic.  The Senate was intended to represent the interests of the sovereign states that formed the union.  By requiring the state legislatures to nominate and select their senator, the Constitution ensured that the interests of that state would be preserved in Congress. 

By changing the design of the Founding Fathers, the ratification of the 17^th Amendment placed the election of members of the Senate in the hands of the political parties and the end of our representative form of government.  It allowed the corruption of political parties to dominate the interests of local government.  Large states were finally supreme and the interests of small states could be ignored as their members in the Senate were selected by the party power brokers and their elections funded by the special interests.

The stranglehold political parties has dispossessed each of us fair representation in our government.  State level elections are determined by the campaign funds from interests outside the individual state.  Demagogues like George Soros and Michael Bloomberg are able to influence elections by outspending independent candidates and depriving the voters of the right to have a senator that represents their interests. 

There is an old adage that all politics is local.  This is no longer valid as the people have no right to the representatives of their choice, only those granted them by the political parties.  The 17^th Amendment did away with local control of our political system.

The over 6 trillion that was spent in the last 5 years would have been enough to make every person in America a multi billionaire gave everyone a home and job and ended poverty here in America ,

NATIONAL DISASTER BY STUPIDITY!
There is allot of talk about the national grid being shut down Nov 13-14 for a test.  I don't for a moment believe it could be for a test.  Not only do I not think it is for a test, I think such a move is insane.  Actually I find it hard to believe someone would do something on a scale which could only be described as "national stupidity", if this is true.
If you think about it, a very large number of transformers are 20 to 30 years old.  Shutting them down then dumping "inrush current" on them on restart will likely cause a catastrophic failure across the entire system.  Exploding transformers will not only cause a nationwide power failure but many fires and no electricity to pump water to put them out.  Add to that the length of time it will take to manufacture new transformers and install them and you have a national disaster never before seen in this country.  I ask you, how did we end up with the most ignorant idiots running the most critical aspects of national security.

First, blame President Bill Clinton. He did two things that actually enabled the Chinese to have ICBM and that work and are accurate. Clinton sent L3 into China to help the with gyros, as prior to that help 25% of the Chinese launches . Clinton was paying the Chinese to launch some US military satellites, one of which was lost, ( Not stolen and re-engineered). Then he authorized the sale of several supercomputers, the Chinese said they needed them for weather patterns, ( They are essential for reentry calculations of ICBM's and nuclear reaction and design calculations. I am sure they did not reverse engineer any of those computers).   Now, they have an aircraft carrier, expanding Navy and nuclear subs with nuclear missiles and a new sub base, aggression against neighbors , including Japan.            Obamacare launch failure sends President’s Poll numbers plummeting

If you are one of the unlucky 2 million Americans who received an insurance termination notice due to Obamacare, then help may be on the way. It turns out that according to Fox News, the president’s plummeting poll numbers largely due to the disastrous launch of his signature legislative piece may be driving his fellow democrat lawmakers into the congressional weeds.

According to NBC News a newly released WSJ/NBC News poll shows that the failed launch of the president’s Obamacare has resulted in approval rating of 42 percent. In fact the president’s poll support numbers slid 5 points from the month before. Meanwhile White House officials and democrat lawmakers are cringing from disapproval numbers on Obamacare escalating to 47 percent.

The falling poll numbers of the president coincide with each day’s revelation of another set of insurance cancellation horrors confronting the American people and you pick the state. According to Bloomberg, in Florida, “Blue Cross and Blue Shield, is dropping 300,000 members and California’s Blue Shield and Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente will terminate a projected 280,000 who are insured.” In Pittsburgh alone, 40,000 insurance customers will lose their plans. Obamacare is wrecking havoc on American families and their healthcare costs all over the nation.

Well, this healthcare nightmare ride may been seeing a little sunlight on the horizon due to the President’s 5 point drop in the polls in less than a month since the torturous launch. With each family being kicked off of the insurance rolls, a new blue state or red state anti-Obama and democrat voter is created.

What is also occurring inside the halls of the House and Senate are Democrat lawmakers worried that the 2010 Tea Party victory may be a stream compared to what could happen in 2014. Democrats know not a single Republican voted for passage of Obamacare which makes it easier for angry voters to target any and all Democrats.

     First of all, I have to state that I am against abortion, in any case.  That said, it is necessary to explain myself.  I believe in God.  I believe that he is a vengeful God.  I believe that He will hold us all accountable for our actions when the time comes.  I have a bastard child, my daughter, who, if I let her mother to her own instincts, would have aborted her.  My daughter is now 13 years old, about to be 14 this November.  I love her, with all my heart and count her among my life's many blessings.  When her mother became pregnant, she asked me if I wanted her to have an abortion, and thus absolve me from any responsibility.  

     No way that THAT was going to happen.

     Abortion, in my opinion, should be SAFE and RARE(primarily safe.)  

     I live in Ohio.  In Ohio, we had a dilemma, recently.  The state had run out of the drug we use for the death penalty (something else I disagree with, but lest I digress).  I was thinking that maybe we should just take the inmate and cut him to pieces and vacuum him into a trash can.  Oh, no,,, that's too cruel and unusual.  Oh,, maybe we should just drop him into a vat of acid.  No,, same thing,,,  Oh,, perhaps we should put him to sleep, drive forceps into his spinal cord, cut it, and then suck his brain out through a vacuum again.  No,,, that's insane, right?   Maybe not.

     Wow,,, talk about cruel and unusual punishment,,,   Oh, yeah,, let's talk about that.  You see, cruel is a matter of opinion, and unusual means we don't do it that often.   So if I think that it isn't cruel, and I do it often enough so that it isn't unusual, then it's O.K. right?   Too sick?  I agree.

     If any of these methods were suggested to kill a convicted killer, serial killer, serial rapist, or other degenerate, we would be up in arms.  An estimate 44 MILLION abortions happen each year, globally, utilizing these methods, and worse, and no one says a thing.  

    The problem, as I see it, is that abortion isn't rare, and really not safe.  If you are having a knee replacement, the doctor has a representation of a knee.  The doctor will talk you through every aspect of the upcoming surgery, complete with props, stats, and his success rate.  Do the abortion doctors do that?  No way.

     Abortion doctors tell their clients that everything will be alright, and that they will wake up and not be bothered by this thing again.

     Abortion is an elective surgery to remove a piece of healthy tissue in order to interrupt a natural process.  Any insurance company, or our government, should not pay for elective surgery.  We, the tax payers, should not pay for ANY elective surgery including what they call "gender re-assignment" or abortion, anymore than we should have to pay for a nose job.

     I mourn for the dead that WE have caused.  Our government has allowed a genocide on a level that only the Nazi party, the Soviets, or the Communist Chinese could appreciate.  I pray for our nation, and lament the fact that we are responsible for these atrocities.  

     Margaret Sanger started organizations that later turned into planned parenthood.  She wanted, more than anything, for black babies to die.  History has been distorted, in this regard, and she has been lifted up as a pioneer in "reproductive rights".  Insanity.  This woman wanted nothing less than the destruction of minorities in the U.S.  She wanted to completely destroy any chance at minorities surviving in our country.

    I have to oppose any idea that leans to that kind of destruction.  My father was raised on a reservation in South Dakota, and thus, I am opposed to genocide, for uh,,,, genetic reasons?!  

     We need to absolve ourselves of these atrocities.  We need to stop killing the next generation.
