AMERICA’S DECLINE?

Looking around the Internet and reading, I find myself getting more and more depressed. My American dream seems to be lost. No longer is my country free to be the greatest power on the earth.

4063925977?profile=original

Watching America’s decline is not a pretty sight. Our government is corrupt beyond my wildest imagination. There are children growing up without knowledge and adults who think all is fine because they, themselves, have not been affected.

Healthcare seems to be a joke these days. Not many can afford a good plan on the O-Care site. Then, of course, there are those who cannot see the doctors they were used to going to.

Food is at an all time high and I see that when I go shopping that people are buying less and less.

4063925917?profile=original

Foreign affairs have reached the depths of darkness. As I watch videos of ‘Terrorists’ (I believe that they must be bad people because they are doing very evil deeds), killing and riding in and on top of vehicles with guns and shouting while killing others. There are families of people running to cross borders and flee from evil that is inevitably coming towards them.

America used to save people who were being attacked for presumably no other cause but to take-over a country for power, religious preference and oil.

4063926052?profile=original

Iraq was in a neutral state when America maintained a presence. Now, under the O-Regime, all is lost. The world is getting deeper and deeper in debt and countries are no longer safe to travel to.

The only hope that ‘We the People’ have here is for a majority in the Senate in November and to retain the majority in the House. Maybe then we will have a ‘Lame Duck’ president. What am I fooling myself with? Only a ‘Lame Duck’ president would be playing golf while the world around him is falling apart.

 4063926073?profile=original

What have the people of America done? They voted in pure evil and some don’t even know it. Is there hope for my country? I don’t know anymore.

Black on Black History Month and Race

4063828954?profile=originalAh, another Black History Month, or should I say Annual Bash America Month. Every year the usual suspects (Democrats and liberal media) use the month to promote hate via false narratives such as young black men are routinely hunted by whites; Conservatives and Republicans hate a commercial that features a biracial couple, and so on. You know the drill. America sucks, is eternally racist and victimizes blacks.

The left’s solution: More government freebies and special concessions for blacks, higher taxes and a stronger determination to eradicate income inequality. In other words, like MLK Day, Black History Month is simply another opportunity to exploit race to further the left's socialist/progressive agenda.

I offer a bizarre concept. Why not celebrate BHM by featuring extraordinary blacks and their contributions? For example: In 1872 Henry Brown amazingly escaped slavery by mailing himself to freedom in a box.

In the 1980s, Pillsbury Company appointed successful black business executive Herman Cain to be chairman and CEO of Godfather Pizza. Cain become the CEO of the National Restaurant Association.

Herman Cain is a black conservative which by definition means he disagrees with Obama's agenda. This disqualifies Cain, a great role model for black youths, from being featured in a Black History Month PSA.

A black entrepreneurial magazine featured Obama on its cover as a champion of black empowerment. I thought, “Are these people delusional?” Obama's presidency has devastated entrepreneurs, especially blacks. And yet, the black publishers chose to make race trump the truth.

Race. Race. Race. Folks, my head is flooded with thoughts on this highly emotional issue which causes rational people to behave irrationally. Emotionally enslaved to racial loyalty, Christian family and friends either ignored or twisted the Bible to support Obama, despite his anti-Christian agenda; same sex marriage, abortion, banning God from the public square and forcing Christians to betray their faith.

Void of reality, BET featured a show touting the Obama's strong Christian faith.

Race is such an emotional issue. In a restaurant, a white waitress gave a chilly reply to my cheerful, “Good morning”. I know intelligent blacks, burdened with a black chip on their shoulders. They would have automatically assumed the waitress's coldness was racially motivated. Later, white friends commented about the same waitress. “She waited on us yesterday. Man, was she cold.” Apparently, the waitress spread her unfriendly vibe indiscriminately.

For all intensive purposes, the GOP has surrendered its principles, values and the country to Obama due to racial intimidation. Remarkably, despite Obama's unprecedented lies and scandals, race still prevents honest media coverage of his Administration.

Race is the Democrats and media's most potent weapon to silence opposition to Obama's war on the Constitution. I am a Tea Party activist. The left promotes the evil, divisive and irresponsible lie that my white Tea Party brothers and sisters call me a n***** behind my back.

Strong arguments exist on both sides about whether or not we should have Black History Month.

Racism will remain among the sins of humanity. But for the most part, you get what you give. Kindness and respect usually mirrors itself. Decent well-intentioned people find ways of working out their differences. I realize that this truth is too simplistic and individual-empowering for government social engineers, multicultural professors and race exploiters.

I pray for a day without PC police and race-exploiters; a day when Americans are allowed to interact like the crew of the star-ship Enterprise in the 60's Star Trek TV show; various races living together without race being an issue.

Black America: Stop The Insanity

4063691816?profile=originalRemember that spiky-haired blonde lady fitness guru all over TV years ago? Her famous line was “Stop the insanity!” As a common sense thinking black conservative, I offer the same clarion call to fellow black Americans, “Stop the insanity!” Why do you continue sleeping with the enemy; voting for liberal Democrats whose policies imply that you are inferior, stupid and culturally immoral?

When the NAACP and Democrats claim that requiring a photo ID disenfranchises blacks, such implies we are stupid. For the life of me I do not understand why millions of blacks are not highly insulted by this absurd claim. Do blacks fly? Do blacks drive cars? Do blacks cash checks?

When Democrats and liberals accept over 70% out-of-wedlock births and fatherless households as a cultural norm in the black community, I am offended. And yet, I am called a sellout.

Liberal Democrats policies and programs have destroyed the black family and continue to devastate the black community. Meanwhile, blacks vote monolithic for Democrats and politically beat up anyone, black or white, who offers common sense solutions. For crying out loud, stop the insanity!

God forbid that a black person dare to think outside of the liberals' we-be-simpleminded-blacks-in-need-of “gov-ment”-intervention-to-survive box. Blacks becoming successful the old fashion way, by earning it, does not cut it with Democrats and liberals. Liberal media and Democrats grab such uppity blacks by their afros and politically drag their black derrieres kicking and screaming back to the liberal Democrat plantation.

There, such blacks are strung up in the public square with their naked backs exposed; made an example for any other conservative leaning blacks contemplating their escape. Beaten, battered and broken black conservatives are flogged within an inch of their political life with countless articles and operative pundits calling them a stupid n*****, Uncle Tom and traitor to their race.

A prime example of a black overlord of the Democrat liberal plantation attempting to rein in a black escapee is North Carolina NAACP Chapter President Rev. William Barber. Black race-baiters typically use Black History Month and Martin Luther King Day to trash America for purposes of extortion.

In celebration of MLK Day, Rev. Barber called black conservative and Tea Party American Senator Tim Scott a puppet, saying, “A ventriloquist can always find a good dummy.”

Senator Scott is about applying common sense solutions to issues plaguing our country. Thus, once again, any black who does not view themselves as a victim of an eternally racist white America, entitled and in need of lowered standards and expectations is a dummy; a tool of white Republicans – a stupid self-loathing n*****. This is not an exaggeration.

I have been called these names and worse by Democrats and liberals for many years every time I suggest that blacks stop having babies out of wedlock, stop dropping out of school, stopping killing each other, stop blaming whitey and assume personal responsibility for their lives. Too me, this is true Black Empowerment.

I do not know what it is going to take for black America to see the light; to realize the betrayal of a majority of the modern civil rights coalition. If these so-called advocates truly gave a hoot about blacks, they would celebrate extraordinary black conservative achievers such as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and businessman extraordinaire Herman Cain. These blacks should be held high for black youths to see what can be achieved in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet via education, hard work and right choices.

And yet, these blacks are despised by white liberals and black civil rights leaders. Why? In a nutshell these blacks nuke the Democrats and liberals entitlement and big government narrative.

So while black America believes white conservative Republicans are burning the midnight oil plotting ways to keep blacks down, Democrats and liberals are the ones keeping them enslaved.

With the liberal mainstream media in the Democrats' back pocket as complicit liberal plantation gate keepers, I will continue praying for divine intervention while pounding on the plantation master's door. Let my people go! My fellow black Americans, it truly is time to stop the insanity.

Happy Super Bowl and Thank Ted Cruz Sunday!

4063824465?profile=originalWe're in “swing state” Colorado away from our home in Florida. When we came down for coffee, the desk clerk said it was zero degrees outside. Still, Mary braved the cold outside for her morning cigarette. Pray for her folks.

Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you to patriots across America for making it possible for our Conservative Campaign Committee to run our “Thank You Ted Cruz” TV ad on stations across Colorado on Super Bowl Sunday.

The GOP's latest betrayal and insane decision to make immigration reform (amnesty) a major agenda item reinforces the importance of every American, who loves our country, to support our handful of true conservative fighters like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.

Amnesty will mark the end of America as we know it; a one party (Democrat) dominated nation. America will become a country that appeals and caters to the lowest common denominator; punishing achievers, class envy, entitlements and spreading mediocrity equally.

My fellow Americans, we are so much better than that. We are Americans!

Despite everyone, conservative, liberal, Democrat and Republican attempts to destroy him, Senator Ted Cruz displayed remarkable courage in his relentless effort to defund Obamacare. Why? Because Senator Cruz knew Obamacare would be devastatingly hurtful and painful for the American people; a nightmare. More and more unprecedented hidden power grabs and horrifying catastrophic consequences of Obamacare are exposed daily.

Apparently, still terrified of being called racist, Republican push back against our president acting like a king is tepid at best. News flash GOP, the media and Democrats will concoct a narrative to brand you racist even if you comply with every Obama initiative.

For crying out loud, don't you guys in the GOP think it is time to stand up for the American people; to restore and preserve our great nation as intended by our Founding Fathers? Where is the tradition of leaders with back bone? Is a guy's skin-color the only weapon needed to lose America?

So, again I thank you patriots across America very much for supporting our effort to support and encourage Senator Ted Cruz.

I am glued to the TV, excited every time our “Thank You Ted Cruz” ad airs.

I'll be enjoying hot wings during the game. The hotter the better.

The Making of a Black Conservative

4063440452?profile=originalIt was the mid 1950's. Around 9 years old and the eldest of five, I along with my parents were extremely excited as we wooed and awed over our new home; new appliances and everything. Our family moved from a leaky roof, pot belly wood stove row house in the ghetto of east Baltimore to a brand new government highrise. Apartment 6B was our new home in the 11story building of all black residents.

Little did I realize that living in the projects and other life experiences would lead to my becoming a black conservative, a Christian and a Tea Party activist.

In a short time, I witnessed the building becoming an 11 story dangerous violent ghetto. Without the pride of ownership or earning their way, only a hand full of residents kept their apartments nice. We kids learned to play hand ball in the square on our floor because Mom thought the playground was too risky. Stairwells became dark bathrooms and dens of iniquity; broken elevators due to vandalism.

And yet, I constantly heard that everything was the white man’s fault. At 9, I sarcastically said, “How can we stop mean white people from sneaking in here at night urinating in the stairwells and breaking wine bottles?”

Dad was among a few blacks who broke the color barrier into the Baltimore Fire Dept. I vividly remember Dad's outrage about our rent being raised, “Seventy-two dollars a month. They're crazy. We're movin'!” Sadly, my cousins on my mom's side who lived in single mom households remained on welfare. With the exception of one who worked his way through college, my cousins lived wasted lives, serial out-of-wedlock births, substance abuse, AIDS, jail and entitlement mindsets. Several died young. Thus, the bad taste in my mouth for cradle to grave welfare and absentee fathers.

Dad winning Fire Fighter of the Year two times despite working under unfair and humiliating circumstances taught me about trusting and trying to do things God's way, character, hard work, not whining and the greatness of America. Dad progressed from laborer to Doctor of Theology. Dad eventually won the respect of white racist firefighters who hated him when he first arrived at Engine 6.

4063819020?profile=originalOur family's move out of Baltimore City to a black suburban community meant I would be bused to newly integrated Brooklyn Park Jr, Sr High School in Linthicum, Maryland. I still remember that first day when our two school buses with black students from neighboring Pumphery arrived. With the fear of the seventh grade, an inherited stutter and the sea of 1400 white faces, I was terrified.

My white art teacher, Mr Gomer, recognized my art talents which ultimately lead to scholarships from several white politicians, opportunities from white businessmen and a successful career as a graphic designer; advertising agencies and a major market TV station.

Drafted in the U.S. Army for two years, I learned that good and bad people come in all colors. Sharing the same skin color does not make someone your friend or a brother.

My gift of seeing beyond an invisible wall of race to see people as individuals rather than monolithic members of a race has been a source of great criticism all of my life.

Thus, when Obama came out as a presidential candidate, I logically listened to his vision for our great nation. When Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wanted to spread the wealth around, I knew his vision was wrong for my country. I passionately campaigned against him.

Apparently, I missed the point of 96% of black voters. Obama should have my support because we are both black. His agenda is irrelevant.

Obama is simply another Democrat pushing the same insulting bigotry of lowered expectations, class envy and cradle to grave government entitlements which have devastated the black community for decades. I joined the Tea Party because Obama's implementation of his extreme liberal socialist/progressive agenda; his vowed fundamental transformation of America must be stopped.

I have traveled on 12 national bus tours, participating in over 400 tea party rallies. The extraordinary people I met are the salt of the earth. A white Texas couple proudly introduced me to two black babies they adopted from Africa. A terminally ill white fan in Michigan wanted to meet me before she died.

Democrat's and mainstream media branding the Tea Party racist is the height of racism, irresponsibility and evil. These patriotic Americans are simply saying no to the left's hostile takeover of their country.

I became a born-gain Christian in my twenties. I grew weary of my meaningless life of drugs, sex and partying. I asked God to help and He did. My faith keeps me strong, confident and focused in my quest to restore my beloved America to it's former exceptional glory.

Obama's Race-Baiting Harms Black Youths

4063813566?profile=originalIn his New Yorker magazine interview, Obama claimed the following as a contributing factor for his declining poll numbers , “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president.”

While it is easy to simply add race-baiting to Obama's growing list of character flaws, I see a much deeper consequence to Obama using his skin color for political cover.

Black youths. It is extremely irresponsible for the most powerful black man in the world to tell black youths that a significant portion of white America will always seek their demise due to their skin color. As my late mom would say, such is a lie from the pits of hell.

The vast majority of Americans are fair-minded, decent and extremely generous, striving for a post racial nation. Oprah along with countless black actors, recording artists, athletes and so on are ga-zillioniares due to the support of white America. For crying out loud, white America put Obama in the White House and even awarded him an undeserved second term.

For years, black rappers have made their fortunes claiming that America is eternally racist; birthing songs like “Cop Killer”. When the black president of the United States furthers the same hate-inspiring narrative, Houston we have a serious, serious problem.

The Administration and mainstream media have irresponsibly used Obama's skin color as a nuclear weapon to nuke opposition to his socialist/progressive agenda. But, at what cost to the hearts and minds of black youths?

What about the growing black flash mob attacks? What about the growing incidents of the knockout game and polar bear hunting (black youths attacking innocent whites)?

Realizing the obvious racially polarizing and possible violent repercussions, one would assume the last thing the first black president would do is accuse white America's racism as the reason for his tanking poll numbers.

But then, what can you expect from a Democrat and liberal media crafted “paper messiah” rather than a true character driven leader.

Defeat Franken: One Less Obama Henchman

4063805509?profile=originalMany are outraged that Obama would nominate a cop killer advocate to head the DOJ Civil Rights Division. When will people realize that Obama is a lawless Chicago thug politician who surrounds himself with henchmen?

One such Obama henchman that we have a golden opportunity to defeat is Senator Al Franken. Franken's numbers are tanking. Only 39% of Minnesota voters have a favorable opinion of Al Franken.

While Obama deceitfully gives pious speeches about bipartisanship and civility, his henchman says things like this, “Republicans are shameless d**ks. No, that's not fair. Republican politicians are shameless d**ks.” Al Franken: The Truth (With Jokes) p. 58

Franken has become notorious on Capital Hill for numerous over-the-top angry outbursts against Republican Senators and staffers; behavior unbecoming of a U.S. Senator. Minnesota voters deserve much, much better than Franken.

Loyal henchman Al Franken rubber-stamps Obama's every lawless decree. He voted for higher taxes, higher deficits and Obama's stimulus. Franken urged his boss to militarily intervene in Syria without seeking congressional authorization.

Not only did henchman Franken help write the tyrannical Obamacare, he cast the deciding vote and boldly parroted Obama's infamous lie, “If you like your health care plan and doctor, you can keep them.”

Franken wrote a letter to fellow Obama hench-persons at the IRS instructing them to harass conservative groups. Have you ever heard of such arrogant unethical behavior by a U.S. Senator? Are we dealing with a presidential Administration or a crime family?

Elected to the U.S. Senate under suspicious circumstances, Franken has been a tool of radical liberal special interest groups, rather than pursuing the best interest of the people of Minnesota.

Franken is so radical, he received a zero percent rating from numerous groups that include Citizens Against Government Waste, National Association of Manufacturers, Campaign for Working Families, Concerned Women for America, American Library Association, Sportsman and Animal Owners Voting Alliance and the American Conservative Union.

Franken is hellbent on protecting his boss' signature power grab, Obamacare, which is wrecking havoc in the lives of millions of Americans. Removing the vulnerable Al Franken from the U.S. Senate is a powerful step towards repealing Obamacare.

As Obama reenforces his ranks with new henchmen like his disgusting DOJ nominee, it is crucial that we exploit every opportunity to weaken Obama's ability to lawlessly bully us into submission. In 2014 we need to make it a national priority to defeat Al Franken; one less henchman for Obama.

Will King Obama Throw Nuns into the Lion's Den?

4063803084?profile=originalFor 175 years the nuns of Little Sisters of the Poor have been ministering to the elderly, poor and dying. Under decree mandated in Obamacare, the Little Sisters are ordered to bow down in worship to King Obama's golden idol, abortion. Non compliance threatens to be the death of their extraordinary ministry.

We are witnessing a modern day version of King Darius ordering that Daniel be thrown into the lion's den for refusing to deny his faith. Either the Little Sisters of the Poor ministry submit to King Obama's decree or die; metaphorically thrown into the lion's den.

Displaying deceit characteristic of our Liar-in-Chief, Obama's DOJ have offered the Little Sisters a serpent disguised as an olive branch. The DOJ told the Little Sisters that if they would simply sign a document condoning abortion services for their employees an exemption from the mandate would be granted.

The wise Little Sisters refused to sign what they perceived to be a “permission slip” for abortion services; a back door scheme by the DOJ to get the Little Sisters to betray their religious faith.

Like Daniel in his day, the Little Sisters remain faithful. Their case has gone to the U.S. Supreme Court.

It is profoundly evil to persecute a Christian ministry that has been ministering to the needy for 175 years. Surely, the DOJ has to know that legally bludgeoning the Little Sisters of the Poor into submission will be a PR nightmare for the Obama Administration.

So why is Obama's DOJ hellbent on forcing the Little Sisters to betray their commitment to God? The answer is our country is under siege in the process of a tyrannical hostile takeover.

The Obama Administration has transformed governmental agencies into his iron-fist enforcers. Their laser focused mission is to assist in the full implementation of the liberal socialist/progressive agenda; Obama's vowed fundamental transformation of America.

Like every hostile takeover by a regime, opposition is dealt with swiftly and severely. Everyone must be politically beaten into silence and submission; even the Little Sisters of the Poor.

What Would Jesus Really Do?????

I find it very interesting how people view Jesus today.  I am not a bible scholar and cannot quote more than just a few very common scripture verses, but is being able to quote chapter and verse from the Holy Bible really that important?  Knowing what the Bible says is important.  Living by Scripture, especially by the New Testament things taught by Jesus and his Apostles are important, but I find a lot of people who are so quote-crazy they don’t really seem to know much about what they are quoting.

For instance, Jesus is portrayed in most churches that I know of, and by every Christian I know as pious, benevolent, quiet, and soft spoken.  I don’t see him that way at all, at least not all the time.  As a matter of fact I think of Jesus as quite forceful, and a pain in the butt to the bureaucracy of his time; and to the “progressives” who now control our nation.  I see a side of Jesus that is often more like a drill sergeant in the Army.

Congrats to Phil and America!

4063796393?profile=originalCongratulations America, we did it! Thanks to your passionate push back, A&E networks rescinded its suspension of Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson. One thing to take away from the Duck Dynasty controversy is that no one knows enough or can predict the future well enough to be a pessimist.

Conservative intellectuals (smart people) read negative political tea leaves which lead them to conclude that all is lost; Obama and his army of liberal socialist/progressives have all the power. They do everything right to further their agenda while we bumbling conservatives do everything wrong.

I simply can not subscribe to negative predictions of the future. No one knows what tomorrow may bring. Secondly, 60 something years of living has taught me to trust God.

For example, who could have predicted that a scruffy bearded duck hunter would inspire mega-millions of Americans to push back and win a major battle in the war against the tyranny of political correctness? Phil's victory over political correctness zealots reminds me of the scripture that says, “God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.” (1Cor. 1:27) Unquestionably, the arrogant elitist aggressors on the left were blown away by America rallying around Phil.

Another unforeseen gift hidden in the left's feverish overplayed attack on Phil is that it has opened the eyes of millions of Americans to the truth that the left truly have launched a war on religious faith and traditional family values.

Thanks to Phil holding firm to his beliefs, Americans are organizing to push back against the left's assaults on not just religious freedom, but liberty in general. Once passive Americans are joining the fight; signing petitions and more.

In the midst of the left (NAACP, GLAD and NOW) rising up with pitch-forks demanding the head of Phil Robertson for quoting the Bible, I noticed that Kathy Griffin, queen of poking her finger in the eye of Christians will again co-host CNN's New Years Eve coverage. Ms Griffin told Jesus to “S*** it” in her Emmy award acceptance speech.

Unlike the left's hysterical demands that Phil Robertson be fired, I am not suggesting that CNN not employ the services of Ms Griffin. I am merely shining the light of truth, exposing the left's blatant selective outrage and hypocrisy.

Ask yourself folks, would Ms Griffin be ringing in the new year on CNN had her disrespectful comments been directed at Mohammed? I shutter just thinking of the consequences.

So why has the left deemed it OK to dis my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? I ask, WDJD (what did Jesus do) to inspire such hate and disrespect from the left?

Not to stray too far off topic, I just want to express my gratitude and excitement over the much needed shot in the arm that Phil's victory has given the Tea Party movement.

And one last thing. Well meaning folks on our side have been criticizing Phil; his interpretation of scripture and so on. While such observations may or may not be true, there are a plethora of vicious left-wing pundits ripping Phil to threads with exaggerations, distortions and lies.

Displaying manhood and backbone that has become rare in America, Phil courageously took a stand against political correctness for us; our principles and values. Therefore, I will not dare criticize him. I choose to view my Phil Robertson glass half full.

Thanks again brother Phil. You are appreciated and respected more than you will ever know.

Why is it that the Democrat Party, Republican Party, the media, homosexual groups like GLAAD, pro-abortion groups, and all other liberals who spout vile things about the TEA Party and Christians never have one word of criticism about Islam?????   A Christian can’t decline to bake a cake without national outrage but homosexuals being hanged for “aberrant sexual behavior” in Moslem nations bring no response.   If I called a homosexual any “defamatory name or term” such as “teabagger” I would immediately be inundated with the harshest of criticism but Moslems glue a man’s private parts closed and fill him with food and water until he is about to explode then hangs this same person and not a word is heard from the left wing homosexual crowd.

4063796130?profile=originalDuck Dynasty  Phil Robertson back in on - Photo Credit - M Christian Post

With hundreds of thousands of supportive petition signatures, emails, social media site complaints and millions of viewers supporting Phil Robertson, A&E seemingly caved in to the 1st Amendment and biblical values by ending the Duck Commander’s suspension, according to Fox News.

The A&E Network was raking in hundreds of millions of dollars and Wal-Mart which had been distributing Duck Dynasty products was making over $200 million from the show. So it seemed only a matter of time before the large green economic line gave into the hard biblical and constitutional line that had been drawn in the Louisiana red dirt by Phil Robertson.

The A&E Network released a statement affirming that it “would resume filming “Duck Dynasty” with Phil Robertson and the rest of his family next spring, according to Fox News.

Robertson had been suspended from his number one rated cable show which drew in 12 million plus viewers. The network suspended Robertson due to alleged “anti-gay and racists” comments that were taken from his GQ magazine interview. The Rainbow PUSH Coalition organization as well as the LGBT organization GLAAD were offended and demanded Phil Robertson be relieved of his Duck Whistle and more.

4063795393?profile=originalFor the sake of America, please, please Phil do not surrender. We have seen this scenario played out on countless occasions; the left launching a shock-and-awe gang media assault on someone who dared to publicly challenge political correctness. The target of their wrath is bludgeoned into submission; overwhelmed with daily hit pieces filled with exaggerations, distortions and even lies about the target's original comment and intent.

I am black. In his GQ mag interview, I felt no “evil or racist” intent in Phil Robertson's comments about the blacks he knew in his youth. And yet, Phil's intention is irrelevant to the left. Like sharks smelling blood in the water, they pounced on an opportunity to “trap” Phil; branding him a racist and a hater of homosexuals for simply quoting the Bible.

The left reminds me of the pious, arrogant and elitist Pharisees in the Bible. They hated Jesus for doing good works, miracles and connecting with the people. So, they launched a campaign of word games designed to “trap” Jesus into saying something that would help them to brand Jesus a lawbreaker and blasphemer. The left employs very similar tactics.

These people on the left are despicable. They are not about fairness or truth. They are about furthering their liberal socialist progressive agenda by any means necessary. So if dividing the country along racial lines helps their cause, so be it.

They say the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Thus, it does not take a genius to know how the left's war on Phil Robertson, which is really a war on traditional America, will play out.

Phase one is their tsunami of published hit pieces and media pundits branding Phil Robertson a sexist, racist and homophobic. Phase two is to have the whole bowl of left-wing alphabet soup (NAACP, GLAD and NOW) attack Phil from all sides.

Phase three is Sharpton or Jackson demanding that they “get paid” and the offender kiss their ring. In the case of the Duck Dynasty controversy, master exploiter and extortionist Jesse Jackson has taken the lead, demanding that A&E and Cracker Barrel meet with him.

Whether or not A&E and Cracker Barrel bows down to worship Jackson remains to be seen. My plea to Phil Robertson is that he please, please, please do not surrender. Do not on bended knee kiss Jackson’s ring and beg for forgiveness. It would be a mortal blow to the tremendous example he had set inspiring Americans to push back against the tyranny of political correctness.

In every incident of a slip of the tongue or misinterpreted comment by a conservative or a Republican, the left's political correctness police bludgeons them within inches of their political life. The targeted person humbly surrenders and begs for forgiveness; all of which empowers the left, furthers their agenda and adds another notch on their gun.

To my knowledge, Phil Robertson is the first to push back against political correctness with the support of a vast majority of the American people. Thus, to Brother Phil I offer a few pearls of wisdom. In case of a near death experience, do not go to the light. As told to Luke Sky-walker, “Stay away from the dark side”; and when unjustly accused of being a racist, do not kiss Sharpton or Jesse (where's the camera) Jackson's ring.

Phil, surrender would break our hearts. Good folks across America are praying for you.

Thanks Duck Dynasty for the Christmas Gift

4063794565?profile=originalDuck Dynasty gave me an unexpected wonderful gift for Christmas; a renewed hope in America. Polling on various social issues confirm that liberals have made significant inroads towards secularizing America into a culture in which anything goes.

The norm on TV is disrespectful kids scolding their parents, cussing, youths sleeping around, the promotion of homosexuality and poking fun at Christians. Traditional principles and values are on the chopping block.

Several months ago, I heard about this cable show, Duck Dynasty, that was kicking American Idol's butt in the ratings on Wednesday nights. Since the recent controversy surrounding the show, I learned that Duck Dynasty is huge; the highest rated show in cable history.

So what does the show's popularity tell me? It tells me that instinctively people are drawn to things wholesome and good; traditional principles and values.

I watched a recently produced family Christmas movie. While it was somewhat enjoyable, a subtext of the movie was the female lead feeling hurt over the male lead's reluctance to ask her to move in with him. Note that marriage was not on her agenda.

Then, I watched my favorites, “It's A Wonderful Life”, “The Wiz of Oz”, “A Christmas Carol” and “The Sound of Music”. There is a reason that millions of people feel their Christmas season is not complete without viewing at least one of these classics. These old movies possess that sappy wholesome intangible something that makes us feel good, safe, warm and happy.

Neither the coarsening of our culture or liberal indoctrination have been able to destroy millions of Duck Dynasty viewer's instinctive attraction to wholesome tradition family values.

So thank you Duck Dynasty. Thank you for letting me know that the battle for the culture of America is not over. Perhaps, Phil Robertson's leadership will inspire more Americans to push-back against the tyranny of political correctness.

I still get a thrill hearing George Bailey say in “It's A Wonderful Life”, “Burt do you know me? My mouths bleedin' Burt! Zuzu's petals! Merry Christmas!”; Judy Garland as Dorothy singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”; the nun singing “Climb Every Mountain” in “The Sound of Music”. Yes, I am just a sappy old fashion Christmas kind of guy.

Thus, I will close quoting Tiny Tim in “A Christmas Carol”, “God bless us everyone.”

Is Phil Robertson being accused falsely of Racism? – photo credit A&E

There is a literal firestorm building and the supporters of Duck Dynasty and the beleaguered reality show star Phil Robertson are refusing to bend to new charges of racism.  So should he stay or should he go now that the PC police have tried to hang the charge of racism around the neck of the head of the Duck Dynasty popular show?

New supposed revelations are circulating in the mainstream media and amongst fellow travelers in the gay community that they have latched onto other comments from Robertson’s GQ interview and condemned him for now showing dark racist intentions in his heart.

Robertson is quite open about his upbringing in the southern culture of the pre-civil rights era that birthed him.  He is quoted as saying, “I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash,” said the Wire.

That was the beginning of a statement which any person using commonsense should understand without having to go through years of civil rights study and history.  The Duck Dynasty leader of his family was not making a statement of fact about the mistreatment of blacks during that era of racism and disenfranchisement.  He was stating a fact based upon his own perspective and his reality.

OLD GUARD REPUBLICAN FORMER REP. STEVE LATOURETTE RESORTS TO CHILDISH NAME CALLING

This is the transcript from the Chris Wallace show to day on Fox News.

WALLACE: The Conservative Political Action Conference held its annual meeting this eke and if you can believe it, a presidential straw poll for 2016.

Here are the results -- Tea Party favorite, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, won with 25 percent. Senator Marco Rubio was a close second at 23 percent. And former presidential candidate Rick Santorum, a distant third, at 8 percent.

The CPAC meeting highlighted the disagreement over the best way for the party to broaden its base.

Matt Kibbe is president of FreedomWorks, a leader of the Tea Party movement.

Former Congressman Steve LaTourette is head of the Republican Main Street Partnership.

And, gentlemen, welcome to "Fox News Sunday."

LATOURETTE: Thanks.

MATT KIBBE, FREEDOMWORKS: Thanks for having me.

WALLACE: Congressman LaTourette, during the lame duck session in December, you talked about the 40 to 50 chuckleheads -- your phrase -- in the House, who are blocking senator -- rather, Speaker Boehner, from making a budget deal with the president.

What is it about the Tea Party freshmen that make them chuckleheads?

FORMER REP. STEVE LATOURETTE: I don't think I would say it's all of Tea Party freshmen. I'd say it's 40 or 50 in 112th Congress that seemed more interested in voting no and going home than governing and that comment was made after "Plan B." And you have to recognize, Chris --

WALLACE: And "Plan B" was to just raise taxes on people making over a million dollars.

LATOURETTE: Yes. And it was the opening gambit and would have given the speaker the opportunity to go to the White House and over to the Senate and say, "Here, I have a package, and, let's continue our negotiations."

When you take it down, as the speaker said in our meeting after that, you send him to the White House naked. He's got no armor. He's got no tools.

WALLACE: Well, looking forward, Mr. Kibbe, what is it about the Tea Party and its views on spending and taxes that members of the Republican establishment, like Congressman LaTourette, don't get?

KIBBE: Well, you have to take a step back and understand the only reason we are talking about a balanced budget, the only reason that we're having a serious debate about $16-plus trillion in debt, is because of the Tea Party class in 2010 and, the folks we had in 2012. You have to stop this process, this bipartisan process, of just kicking the can down the road, creating these artificial crises on New Year's Eve and say, let's put ideas on the table, let's stop playing this game.

And that's what we have done.

And we're never going to fix the problem just by pretending that the process of bipartisanship somehow gets to real problems, because that's how we got here. This crisis was created by both Republicans and Democrats not willing to make tough choices.

LATOURETTE: I'll tell you, that flies in the face of what we did in the 1990s, Bill Clinton was the president, John Kasich was the budget chair, and, Newt Gingrich was the speaker, and we created the Balanced Budget Act in 1997.

And quite frankly, it was during the Bush years of spending, multiplied now by the Obama years that we have this mess.

And at the end of the day, my difficulty with the Tea Party freshmen is not the true passion that they bring to this. They are an important part of the Republican Party. My difficulty is at the end of the day, you have to govern. Just saying no doesn't get you anything, and it creates these false crises.

And you can get past the false crises if you work something out. And it doesn't mean surrendering principle. It doesn't mean becoming a Democrat or a RINO or a DINO. It means working together in a way you get 60 percent of what you want.    KIBBE: Well, you've got to go back, because I don't think the Tea Party has created the budget crisis. We came in with our members, and tried to do something about it. I remember a day when April 15th is when the House and Senate had to pass the budget resolution.

I remember when they had to reconcile the 13 appropriations bills, I remember a day when the president actually had to introduce his budget, and today we don't do any of that stuff. And that's how we got to the $16 trillion.

And there is something rational about standing on the tracks and saying, you know, we can't do it this way anymore, we have to do it some other way.

LATOURETTE: Listen, if that was -- if that was the way these guys were operating, I'd be all for that.

But for instance, we couldn't get even -- I was an appropriator. We couldn't get our labor, health and human services bill, the biggest of the bills besides defense out, because three of our members would not support the chairman's mark. Now, that's not trying to solve the problem.

KIBBE: We'll get too weeds in here.

LATOURETTE: Sorry. But I'm telling you, you can't get it done. And, just voting no and then holding your nose and saying, boy, if it passes, then I can go home to my local Tea Party groups and say, "I voted no," that's ridiculous. That's what makes them chuckleheads.

WALLACE: Let me switch to another subject.

Mr. Kibbe, one of the recent splits in the party -- and we saw it in the last week, has been over national security. You backed Rand Paul's filibuster of the president's drone policy in the Senate. You also backed the sequester of across the board cuts even in the Pentagon.

But isn't one of the GOP's strengths with the American people that it's tough on national security?

KIBBE: Well, you can be fiscally responsible and tough on national security. I think it would be --

WALLACE: Well, the drone has nothing to do with fiscal issues. That's a --

(CROSSTALK)

KIBBE: Certainly. So there's two issues. One is about basic civil liberties and I think the new GOP reflected by Rand Paul's willingness to challenge the status quo in both the Republican and Democratic Parties, that's a healthy thing.

And, young people in particular, they are looking for leadership that's willing to challenge the idea that the government is always right. I think that's where we are, as well.

But on defense, and on, frankly, any budget, any program, any department of the federal government, let's all acknowledge that there is waste and things that need to be eliminated. And, a trimming of defense would be a very healthy thing.

And you have to put everything on the table. You can't say that this sacred cow cannot be touched. I think the GOP has made that mistake.

WALLACE: Congressman LaTourette, Rand Paul in his speech at CPAC talked about defense hawks like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, as stale and moss-covered. There is a war-weariness in the country. Should the Republican Party, and it's trying to grow the party and appeal to new voters, should it be pulling back on national defense?

LATOURETTE: Well, you know, I grew up in the era of the $800 hammer and $600 toilet seat. So, yes, there are efficiencies there.

But if you're looking to the Constitution for something that government is supposed to be involved in, it is defending the country.

And the sequestration was the most ham-handed way of dealing with things and we only got there because of the dysfunctions that exist, because the Democrats won't give an inch, and, you know, it's incumbent upon us to find the sweet spot. Boehner tried to do it with the president and the president isn't willing. But, we've got to find that sweet spot that includes the Pentagon.

WALLACE: But you said dysfunction and you kind of motioned in Mr. Kibbe's direction. Do you think the Tea Party is adding to the dysfunction in Washington?

LATOURETTE: No, not at all. I think the Tea Party is an important part of the coalition that is the Republican Party. But my difficulty with not necessarily Mr. Kibbe's group but others like his, is that there is some -- now some kind of litmus test what makes a good Republican or a bad Republican.

And the reason that we don't have a Republican president, today, in my opinion, is that we don't represent the whole country. We don't have one member of congress who is a Republican from the entire eastern sea coast. You get down to the Carolinas and Virginia. You can't govern the country unless you look like the country.

And so, I think they are an important part of the coalition but they are not the Republican Party. They are part of the Republican Party.

WALLACE: How do you respond to that? In a sense you may have energized the party, but you've also narrowed it?

KIBBE: Oh, I don't think so. If you look at CPAC, you look at the rock stars of the GOP, the next generation, the people we are excited about, these are Tea Party freshmen -- Rand Paul, Ron Johnson from a very purple, maybe blue state.

WALLACE: Ron Johnson?

KIBBE: Pat Toomey from Pennsylvania and, of course, Marco Rubio. We have brought diversity, we have brought energy and, most important, I think we brought ideas because we are color blind about all of this stuff.

But if you want to come to the Senate, come to the Congress and offer a plan to balance the budget, we're going to support you. Put your ideas on the table. That's what's lacking in the whole debate.

LATOURETTE: Well, I've got to say, that sadly what they've also got is Harry Reid as the majority leader continuing in the Senate. If you look at the Nevada race, Sharron Angle, if you look at Richard Mourdock in Indiana, if you look at -- I forget her name, the witch in Delaware.

WALLACE: Christine O'Donnell.

LATOURETTE: Thank you.

You -- we can have functional today, but for this litmus test that exists today --

WALLACE: There were a lot of establishment candidates, Republican candidates, who went down in this last election, too.

LATOURETTE: But they went down from the standpoint that they lost to Democrats. Unlike some of these -- Mr. Mourdock, for instance. I mean, we are supposed to wonder --

WALLACE: Richard Murdoch in Indiana.

LATOURETTE: Indiana. Why we don't have the women's vote in this country when we have a candidate suggesting that a child born as a result of rape is a gift from God? I'm not wondering why we don't have more women voting for Republicans.

WALLACE: But let me ask you about that and that's the last thing we're going to get into here, Karl Rove -- and he's going to be on the panel -- started something called the Conservative Victory Project to try to get into the primaries, to make sure that there are more electable Republicans, people that can win the primaries and that go on and win the general election.

Congressman LaTourette, you're about to start your own super PAC to promote electable candidates in Republican primaries.

LATOURETTE: Right.

WALLACE: Do you have any problem with that because I -- well, what do you -- first of all, why do you think that's wrong?

KIBBE: Well, I think the definition of electable is what we're debating and you look at who has been winning elections, it's been interesting, exciting, young, energetic people like Ted Cruz, like Marco Rubio. And I think if you apply this sort of establishment litmus test which tends to be biased for people that are already in office, you're not going to get that new energy. Would we have gotten Pat Toomey?

Remember, Karl Rove supported Arlen Specter as far back as 2004, against Pat Toomey, because the logic was Pat Toomey can't possibly win. Arlen Specter later flips party when it was convenient for him and became the 60th vote for Obamacare. So, I think we need to be careful about what it means to be electable.

Certainly, the Tea Party doesn't bat a thousand, but at least we're winning elections. We're bringing new people into the party. And we're not in a position where the Democrats can jam something through 60 votes in the Senate because of the Tea Party.

LATOURETTE: So, I've got to tell you, there is no litmus test at the Republican mainstream. I'm happy to have anybody who labels him or herself as a Republican and wants to represent the entire country.

We're not talking about electing the governor of South Carolina, or the governor of Texas, the governor of Utah. If we want to be a national party, we have to look like America. Today, we look like a bunch of we were a bunch of guys, white guys, from below the Mason- Dixon line.

WALLACE: So, how do you look more like America?

LATOURETTE: You have to begin to talk about issues in the way that I have to talk about issues.

For instance, I never read anything in my Republican playbook and I have been a Republican since the day I was born, that says that Republicans and trade unionists can't get along together, the carpenter, the operating engineer. But, somehow, this whole war on prevailing wages is now become a plank of the Republican Party? No, it's not.

And the same thing with the environment. I live on Lake Erie, we don't have to be opposed to everything that helps us get clean air and clean water. That's not a Republican test.

But if you look at the key votes that some of these groups are scoring, and 18 votes was scored by Mr. Kibbe's group out of a thousand that took place, last year. It's not -- you can make -- it's like a poll, you can make it look any way you want to.

WALLACE: All right. You get the last word.

KIBBE: I think if you look at the new Republican Party, the party that stands for something, you look at names like Tim Scott, and Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and Raul Labrador and Justin Amash. Mia Love almost got through.

This is the new future and it's based on ideas. We don't care about the color of your skin.

WALLACE: We're going to have to leave it there. But, to be continued.

Mr. Kibbe, Congressman LaTourette, thank you both for coming in.

We'll stay on top of this debate. And, in addition, up next, we'll continue this conversation with our Sunday group. What does the GOP need to do to attract more voters?

Lame Duck to Quack Vociferously
after November Elections

Rajjpuut's own analysis and a few stray comments taken as hearsay from friends thrice removed quoting blue-dog Democrats who refused to be quoted on the record, in other words nothing a real journalist can take to the bank, have created a potential nightmare scenario for this country. It's all very iffy, nevertheless, you should know . . . . It appears that Obama and his huge majorities in the house and senate aim to "lie low" in the coming months rather than risking alienation of any more voters. After the election, however, things will get lively as the Dems ignoring the standard "gentleman's agreement" that lame duck congresses never deal with controversial matters ignore propriety and instead aim to force cap and trade, union card check, comprehensive immigration "reform," and virtual unionization of police, firefighters and other first responders upon the nation. In effect, the inglorious result of his first half-term will be that Obama will have made the Constitution and congress as well, almost totally irrelevant. If a voting path is created for 12-20 million illegal aliens who will presumably vote Democrat over Republican by 85%-15%, he will have become a virtual dictator for life . . . something even FDR couldn't do.

Another Independence Day has come and gone. We’ve watched our fireworks exhibitions maybe enjoyed a few relatively harmless, but probably illegal firecrackers and modest personal fireworks such as roman candles and even brandished a few sparklers about – never, however, in our history has it been so vital to remember and to understand what exactly the Fourth of July is all about or, by extension, to come to a firm mental grasp of the concepts enlivening our American Constitution. Our Founding Fathers did an excellent job of creating a government for the thirteen entities, the original colonies made into states, and for the numerous individuals inhabiting them.

One might be tempted to say, the Founding Fathers did the most nearly perfect job that’s ever been done of creating a government . . . however, we are surrounded by legions of those who don’t just doubt the near perfection of the job as many of them do, but literally legions who doubt it was even a good job. Some of them, mostly covertly, would consider “Das Kapital” by Marx as formulating a much more apt and perfect solution to this question as to what kind of government is best for mankind. Of course there are all manner of socialists around too, who would argue they’re merely talking about some needed, harmless and over-all beneficial “tweaking” of the Document in question. All of these individuals and groups are what’s called “progressives.” Progressives see the U.S. Constitution as an outdated and flawed document and see the need to “progress” beyond both the word and the spirit of the Constitution. Should we? Are they correct? Is it outdated? Is it seriously flawed?

The continuum of human government runs from anarchy (total freedom, total lack of responsibility, total lack of government, each man for himself) to totalitarianism (zero freedom, 100% duty; 100% government involvement in every aspect of existence, absolute power concentrated in a central government and thus every man exists only at the pleasure of the state and only to benefit the state). The thirteen colonies had just had two very recent experiences with unsatisfactory government . . . in the first instance the autocratic rule of King George III over the colonies went too far to the left, too far toward totalitarianism for their tastes. But when the British were kicked out, the loose pact created by the thirteen states under the Articles of Confederation was unsatisfactory in its closeness to anarchy.

Within reason, the colonials accepted the proposition that the government which governed (that is interfered with and coerced the citizens) the least was the best form of government. The Founding Fathers, “in order to create a more perfect union,” came up with a Republic in which the peoples’ representatives would be chosen by popular vote, democratic process . . . but as they were building a Constitution for the new government, the central government looked a little too potentially malicious and powerful for many tastes and so the powers of that central entity was dramatically curtailed by the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the Constitution (ensuring such personal freedoms as freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, right to bear arms, freedom from ex post facto laws, right to due process, etc., etc., and most importantly the 10th Amendment stating that except for the seventeen explicitly mentioned powers and responsibilities of the federal government ALL other power was reserved for the individual states and the individual citizens of the Republic.

Since 1901, the succession to the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt has marked mostly a succession of progressive presidents intent upon expanding their own powers and the powers of the centralized federal government over the states and the citizens. Obviously some good has been done, the National Park System seems, on balance a good thing, that is NOT the question. It’s a question of progressive aims. There’s no provision in the Constitution for the federal government owning huge tracts of land, but beside the national parks today, the majority of several western states is actually owned by the federal government and not the states themselves. The congress or the people could have passed an amendment to the Constitution expanding the federal powers to include, national parks and perhaps another allowing the central government to own such huge expanses of a given state’s land . . . but chances are the second one would NOT have passed, and perhaps the national parks as well . . . but it should have been the people’s choice yea or nay.

Teddy, in many ways seems beneficent, but certainly he was progressive to the core. Certain presidents wielded their progressiveness far more malevolently: Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and to a lesser extent Bill Clinton and George W. Bush fit that category. Even these did some good things. FDR’s CCC camps come to mind; the Civil Rights Act under Johnson come to mind. The legacy of these progressive "giants" is crushing, today's $14 TRillion national debt pales in comparison to the $110 TRillion in unfunded liabilities attached to Social Security, Medicare, and the federal side of Medicaid . . . of course, Welfare is never attached to this bill, but it certainly should be . . . malevolence surely . . . and now comes cap and trade and the bankrupting of the american coal industry and the skyrocketing electricity prices and the 67% inflation it alone will create, not even talking about general inflation of the money supply by 14X under Obama.

Perhaps we can credit the other four ultra-progressives and men like Clinton and Bush II as being only misguided and truly having good intentions, not so with Barack Obama. From the first days in office, Barack Obama has been poison for the American Dream and his own dream** of a Marxist America has been clear for all to see, unfortunately, the mainstream media has abetted his efforts and the couch potato class has been too busy with their reality shows and sitcoms -- perhaps America deserves the communism he brings -- personally, Rajjpuut deserves anything but . . . so, wake up America!
Ya'all live long, strong and ornery,
Rajjpuut

** besides the evidence of his origins and point of view from the politico.com link above, and the first Obama autobiography "Dreams from My Father," it's worth noting that every scrap of coverage at "Russia Today" and from CPUSA (our own national communist daily) is 100% positive towards Obama, what are the odds?
