ACTION

For many years the President in the White House has been affilated with the Council on Foreign Affairs (CFR) and the Trilateral Commission (TC).  It has been said that every Presidential candidate in both parties has been approved and placed in that Presidential election by the CFR.  So that the CFR does not care who you vote for because each candidate is their guy.  Every President who has occupied the White House has been surrounded by CFR and TC people who have advised and directed his decisions and actions.  Vote for Tweedle-dee or Tweedle-dum since it does not matter to these organizations.  Some call the CFR the Shadow Government who is really guiding and running the US for many years.  The question one has to ask oneself is if that journey has been a good one and are we moving in the right direction?  Or are we heading down the tubes, especially the middle class?  The results of the past 30 years speak for themselves:  more and more debt, more and more wars, less and less freedom, more and more government!!!  Debt that continures to grow, wars that can never be won or kept out of, continuous erosion of our freedoms fought for and won at a great expense by our Founding Fathers.  And a government that does not seem to be able to get out of our way so that we can be free to do those things which we ought to do as understood and well defined over hundreds of years by our great and fantastic Western Christian Civilization.  Citizens of the U.S. need to put the beer away, turn off the TV and get involved in finding out what is going on with their government.  After all it is a government of the people, by the people and for the people.....OR IS IT?  If we are not involved, if we do not understand what is happening with our tax dollars, with our defense, with our freedom and our government then as the saying goes:  "We deserve the government we get."  Citizenship is an awesome responsibility and it requires our interest and attention each and every day.  We need to ask the question: What are they doing with our country?  And then we need to find out!  Most of all we need to understand how our monetary system works because that is the core and source of our problems.  We need to understand how money flows in the USA...where it comes from .....where it goes .....and who are the people orchestrating the process.  We need to understand how the Federal Reserve functions in our country and if the Federal Reserve is performing the tasks laid out in its Charter or are they doing other things other than what is defined in their Charter.  We need to know!  It is our responsibility to find out what is really going on!!!!!

Violation of U.S.C. § 1117. Conspiracy to murder

SUMMARY:

On December 14, 2010 Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, in the course of his duties,  was shot with an AK-47 assault rifle near Rio Pico, Arizona, by an individual attempting to bring illegal aliens into the United States. On December 15, 2010, Brian Terry died as a result of his wounds.

The above-referenced AK-47 was traced to the United States Government, specifically to a federal program referred to as Project Gunrunner, but also colloquially referred to as Operation Fast and Furious. The goal of the program was to sell both assault rifles and handguns to “straw buyers,” and, through various intermediaries, deliver these weapons to Mexican drug cartels; along the way, the weapons would be “traced, to their ultimate destination, and, with the cooperation between United States and Mexican entities, Mexican cartel members would be apprehended.  But in fact no known cases exist in which the weapons were followed to their ultimate destinations. Given the fact that there was no apparatus to trace the weapons to Mexican drug cartels either through visual or electronic tracking, through an eventual playing out of events, a murder of a United States citizen, one Brian A. Terry, border patrol agent and United States Marine veteran, using the above-referenced AK-47, occurred. Additionally, though not part of this complaint, as this relates to international law, the number of Mexican citizens murdered or wounded with Project Gunrunner-supplied weapons numbers in the thousands.

BASIS FOR CRIMINAL COMPLAINT:

Per U.S. C. § 1117. Conspiracy to murder:

If two or more persons conspire to violate section 1111, 1114, 1116, or 1119 of this title, and one or more of such persons do any overt act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be punished by imprisonment for any term of years or for life.

—in that one U.S. Attorney General Eric Himpton Holder, Jr., and one President Barack Hussein Obama, did conspire to murder one Brian A. Terry.

FACTS SUPPORTING COMPLAINT:

On February 17, 2009 President Barack Hussein Obama signed his much-touted “Stimulus Bill,” which specifically funds Project Gunrunner by name:

For an additional amount for ‘‘State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance’’, $40,000,000, for competitive grants to provide assistance and equipment to local law enforcement along the Southern border and in High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas to combat criminal narcotics activity stemming from the Southern border, of which $10,000,000 shall be transferred to ‘‘Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Salaries and Expenses’’ for the ATF Project Gunrunner. (Page 16, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, aka Stimulus Bill).

Though the Stimulus Bill, funding the Project Gunrunner program in the amount of $10,000,000, does not specifically mention the supposed “tracing” operation, on March 24, 2009, Deputy Attorney General David Ogden, in a press conference, specifically refers to this “tracing” operation:

—And thus it follows that both Attorney General Eric Himpton Holder, Jr., and President Barack Hussein Obama knew about the “tracing” function of the program, or rather lack thereof. As has been reported in various news organizations, the “tracing” either resulted in no attempt to follow the movement of the sold guns, or simply a following to the Mexican border. That $10,000,000 would be appropriated simply to create a database with gun descriptions and serial numbers, and to have those guns sold to “straw buyers,” begs logic. What the purpose of the program was remains to be seen, and is currently being investigated by U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa and U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley. 

Regardless, through a conspiracy of President Barack Hussein Obama and Attorney General Eric Himpton Holder, Jr., one Brian A. Terry was murdered, and therefore a violation of U.S.C. § 1117 Conspiracy to murder has occurred.

IMPEACHMENT OF PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA PRIOR TO CHARGE OF VIOLATION OF U.S.C. § 1117 Conspiracy to murder:

Given the fact that the United States Constitution does not allow for criminal charges to be filed against a sitting Unites States President until after he is removed from office:

Judgment in Cases of Impeachments shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States, but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment, and Punishment, according to Law. (U.S. Constitution, Article I Section 3)

—It is necessary to remove President Barack Hussein Obama through impeachment prior to the charges under U.S.C. § 1117 being filed:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors (U.S. Constitution, Article II Section 4)

Given the fact that a United States citizen and United States Marine has been murdered, it is vital that proceedings against the above-named individuals be forthcoming immediately.

“There comes a time and a point in history which indelibly define a President.  Oftentimes the event may not be of major import in the greater scheme of things but the management of it is of such prominence that the success or failure in the handling of the issue is permanently attached to the individual.  Such a moment has happened to Barack Obama. 

His incompetence, inability to lead, prevarications, petulance and immaturity in the debt ceiling crisis have indelibly created an image of abject failure in the minds of a critical mass of people in the United States and around the globe.  He will never be able to overcome the portrait that has been etched in too many minds.

Barack Obama’s only interest in the debt ceiling debate was to raise the borrowing limit sufficiently to get by the next election, and as a cudgel to denigrate the Republicans.  His concern was not for the American people and the impact of overwhelming national debt, nor an impending and inevitable credit downgrade.  Rather, he was determined that raising the debt ceiling would not become an issue during the presidential campaign.  Thus, spending cuts created out of whole cloth, combined with tax increases aimed at stoking the embers of class envy, were bandied about by his party in order to justify an increase in the debt ceiling of $2.4 Trillion.

The destruction wrought by the nearly $5.5 Trillion (more than a third of the total debt of a nation 222 years old) he will have added to the nation’s balance sheet by the end of his term was immaterial, thus no detailed plan was forthcoming from the White House, and no lie or accusation aimed at the opposition was too absurd to tell.  The only matter of importance was his re-election; the long-term health of the country be damned.

With this lasted chapter of Obama cynicism he has gone a bridge too far; and that bridge has collapsed behind him. 

Little does Barack Obama understand that he has forever branded himself as an incompetent and failure.  His narcissism and lifelong history of receiving public adulation will not allow him to comprehend the damage.  He does not understand that now few will listen to his speeches, no matter how well delivered; that few will believe what he is saying, as he has lied and obfuscated the facts so often. 

Many world leaders have already arrived at the conclusion that Barack Obama is a leader that cannot be trusted, the citizens of the United States are beginning to understand that he is a man without a core set of principles thus incapable of guiding the ship of state.

The media, increasingly realizing their culpability in the nation’s current state of affairs, has begun to ask more penetrating questions and grudgingly question Obama’s fitness for office.  Columnists once infatuated with his ability to deliver a speech and skin color have finally begun to admit their error.  The Left has become more open in their criticism, as they now understand that the hero upon whom they vested so much hope is a hollow shell.

The Obama Presidency is over.  He has abdicated all responsibility to the Congress, in particular the House of Representatives, which has little choice but to assume a role they are not structured to do: lead the country as best they can until November 2012.  The American people, suffering under the burden of high joblessness, eroding housing values, inflation and dramatically declining economic growth with no prospect of any immediate relief, are increasingly resigned to the fact that they must focus on surviving as best they can until the election.

Within the term of a president there comes a time and an issue or crisis that define his presidency.  Barack Obama has had his and failed.  The debt ceiling will be raised because the nation’s obligations demand it.   This was never an issue of whether to raise the ceiling, but rather how and what brakes will be applied to the incessant growth of unsustainable spending, in order to sustain the nation’s AAA rating and insure a future for succeeding generations. 

Barack Obama, because at his core he is self-absorbed, dishonest and without coherence in his personal beliefs, was incapable of understanding the importance of this moment to lead in the debate over raising the debt limit and its impact on a nation facing financial and societal bankruptcy.   

The die is now cast.  He has made permanent in the minds of a majority of American people the image of a man incapable of being President.  There is nothing he can do in the remaining 16 months before the election, particularly as the United States is clearly headed into another severe economic downturn, to change that perception.”

“Friday’s news on GDP shows the double dip has arrived — an expansion of only 1.3 percent and consumer spending up 0.1 percent in the second quarter. Astonishingly low by any account. The debt ceiling trouble and lack of a longer term resolution to the deficit will make it worse.

The U.S. has entered a second recession. It may not be as bad as the first. Economists say that the Great Recession began in December 2007 and lasted until July 2009. That may be the way that the economy was seen through the eyes of experts, but many Americans do not believe that the 2008-2009 downturn ever ended. A Gallup poll released in April found that 29 percent of those queried thought the economy was in a “depression” and 26 percent said that the original recession had persisted into 2011.

It is any wonder that many Americans believe that the economic downturn is still in progress? Home prices have fallen to 2002 levels. Values have dropped nearly 50 percent in parts of Florida, California, Nevada and Arizona. Property values are also down that much in parts of troubled big cities like Detroit. Estimates are that as many as 11 million homes have underwater mortgages. Banks have inventories of as many as 2 million foreclosed homes, which have not even been released to the market. Home prices could fall another 10 percent if current trends persist.

Perhaps the most powerful argument that the recession never ended or that a new one has begun is the persistence of unemployment. Fourteen million people are out of work. A third of those have been jobless for more than a year. May employment data showed the jobless rate rose unexpectedly and that the economy added only 58,000 jobs. Experts believe that the unemployment rate will not improve significantly until the monthly gain in jobs is consistently 300,000 jobs or more. And, at that rate the gains would have to go one for more than two years to bring the economy back to what is traditionally considered a reasonable unemployment figure.

There are several signs that a recession is firmly in place again and that the downturn could last for several quarters. Most are already easy for the average American to see.

1. Inflation 
There is almost nothing that damages consumer confidence as badly as a rapid rise in prices. Starbucks recently increased the price of a bag of coffee by 17 percent because wholesale prices have risen by almost twice that rate in the last year. Cotton prices nearly doubled in 2010 but have fallen this year. But, apparel is made months in advance of when they reach store shelves. Summer clothing prices are up as much as 20 percent. That may change in the fall, but for the time being, the consumer’s ability to buy even the most basic clothing has been undermined. Consumers today pay more for sugar, meat, and corn-based products as well.

2. Investments have begun to yield less 
Part of the recovery was driven by the stock market surge which began when the DJIA bottomed below 7,000 in March 2009. The index has risen above 12,000 and the prices of many stocks have doubled from their lows. As result, American household nest eggs that were decimated by the collapse of the market have rebounded and enabled people to splurge on themselves. However, the market has stumbled in the last quarter. The DJIA is up only 1 percent during the last three months and the S&P 500 is down slightly.

Americans, though, have few other places to put their money. Ten-year Treasuries yield about 3 percent. Gold was a good investment over the last year, but it has begun to falter as well. The market may not be a friend to investors for quite some time.

3. The auto industry 
The auto industry has staged an impressive comeback, although its profitability is based as much on the layoffs it has made over the last five years as generating new sales. GM and Chrysler have emerged from bankruptcy. Year-over-year monthly sales improved late last year and through April. May sales stalled. GM’s revenue dropped by 1 percent compared to May of 2010. Ford’s sales were down about as much. There are many reasons for this trend including high gas prices and the constrained manufacturing capacity of the Japanese automakers because of the earthquake. Consumers also may be deferring big purchases because they are worried about their economic prospects. Slow car sales are not just a sign of lagging consumer confidence. They also may be a harbinger of tougher times ahead. These companies shed several hundreds thousand jobs before and during the last recession. Car firms have only just begun to hire again, but that trend will die with a plateau in sales.

4. Oil prices 
Oil prices are supposed to drop as the economy slows as they did in 2008 and early 2009 when crude fell from over $140 to under $50. That drop at least allowed consumers and businesses like airlines to more easily afford fuel. Recently, crude has moved back above $100 and appears to be stuck there regardless of the economic situation. American budgets have been hurt by the rising cost of gas. Americans of more modest means have been particularly affected. A slowdown in driving usually also leads to a decline in the retail sector as consumers reduce unnecessary travel to stores. The impact on other businesses is just as great. Airlines suffer and so do firms which rely on petrochemicals. OPEC, for now, has signaled it will not increase production.

5. The federal budget 
The federal budget deficit has decimated any chance for another economic stimulus package which many prominent economists like Nobel Prize-winner Paul Krugman say is essential to create a full recovery. His theory has become more of an issue as GDP growth slows to a rate of 2 percent. The first $787 billion Obama stimulus package may have saved some American jobs, but it is long over and did not work if a drop in unemployment and a sharp improvement in GDP were its primary goals. The deficit has caused a call for severe austerity measures which have already become part of the economics policies of countries from Greece to the U.K. to Japan. Job cuts in the U.S. will not be restricted to the federal level. A recent UBS Investment Research analysis predicted that state and local governments will cut 450,000 jobs this year and next. That process is already well underway. States like California and New York currently run massive deficits and the rates they must pay on bonds has risen accordingly. Newspaper headlines almost daily report on battles between state unions and governors over employment and benefits.

6. China economy slows 
A slowdown in the Chinese economy is usually seen as a cause of global commodity price inflation, but the effects cut two ways. China’s appetite for energy and raw materials may fall. But, the demand for goods and services by its very large and growing middle class drops as well. Chinese purchaser manufacturing and export numbers have fallen as the central government has tightened the ability to borrow money. US exports to China are key to the health of many American businesses. John Frisbie, the president of The US-China Business Council, recently said, “Over the last decade we have seen exports to China rise from $16.2 billion to $91.9 billion — a 468 percent increase.” As that rate slows, it has a profound effect on tens of thousands of American companies and their employees. U.S. firms with large operations in China are also effected. GM is one of the two largest car firms in China along with VW. Large U.S. corporations like Wal-mart and Yum! Brands rely significantly on China to boost global sales. Without vibrant consumer spending in China, American companies will suffer.

7. Unemployment 
Unemployment creates two immediate problems. People without jobs drastically curtail their spending, which will ultimately affect GDP growth. The second is the need for tens of billions of dollars every year in government aid to keep the unemployed from becoming destitute. That support has increased deficits and the domino effect is that cash-strapped governments need to make more spending cuts. It may be the biggest challenge the economy faces.

Unemployment has worsened because people over 65 to continue to work because the values of their homes — which they once counted on as the financial basis of their retirements — have dropped so sharply. Older Americans also fear that cuts in Medicare and perhaps Social Security are inevitable which increases the cost of their golden years. The jobs that older Americans have taken are often ones that younger Americans might have. People in their 20s must accept low wages to enter the workforce. This has delayed their prime consuming years well into their 30s which will damage GDP recovery now and for another decade.

The worst of the unemployment problem is the roughly 5 million Americans who have been unemployed for over a year. Their unemployment benefits have run out in many cases. The burden of their care falls to their families, friends, community organizations and non-profits. A family which has to support an unemployed person may be a family which cannot spend beyond its basic needs. To the extent that the federal or state governments can support the unemployed, the cost to run support programs increases.

8. Debt ceiling 
The United States debt ceiling, currently at $14.294 trillion, will probably be raised before the government has to cut back essential services on Aug. 2. It might seem that the economic and employment effects of the debt cap are the same as the deficit, but they are actually more insidious and longer term. The first by-product of debt reduction, or at least a slowdown in its growth, is a combination of higher taxes and a lower level of government services. Higher taxes usually slow economic improvements, particularly when they are not coupled with stimulus measures.

A number of economists have pointed out the expense reduction alone will not sharply improve the United States balance sheet. The increase in Medicare and Social Securities costs, brought on by an aging population, are also likely to trigger a need for higher taxes. Tax increases could keep the economic growth of the US on hold for years. The taxation of companies decreases and often eliminates profits, particularly during an already troubled economic period. Profits which disappear usually cause cuts in purchasing and jobs. Taxes on wages and inheritance undermines consumer spending. And, a growth in national debt from already all-time highs will increase the borrowing costs of the U.S. That, in turn, drives up interest rates for everything from mortgages to credit cards.

9. Access To credit 
The lack of access to credit has hurt the economic activity or both individuals and small businesses. Many very large companies can borrow money at rates as low as 2 percent because of their strong cash flows and balance sheets. Banks have been much less willing to loan money to companies with under 100 workers because these firms often rely on a few customers for revenue and usually have very little money on hand.

Early in June, the House Small Business Committee held hearings and among its findings were that concerns about risk and a slow economy has made financial institutions reluctant to lend to small businesses, the main driver of economic growth. Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-Mo.) said Congress will need to “bridge the gap” between the two sides. There is no plan to accomplish that. Individual borrowers find themselves in a similar position. The cost of credit cards debt is still above 20 percent in many cases although the Federal Reserve loans money to large financial firms for interest rates close to zero.

Potential home buyers, who might help break the gridlock of slow house sales, often find that banks want down payments as high as 20 percent. The median down payment in nine major U.S. cities rose to 22 percent last year on properties purchased through conventional mortgages, according to an analysis done for The Wall Street Journal by real-estate portal Zillow.com. That percentage doubled in three years and represents the highest median down payment since the data were first tracked in 1997. Homes which are not sold often put such great burdens on owners that they are barely consumers of the goods and services that drive GDP. Home builders have continued to struggle. Construction jobs, which were a huge amount of the employment base in states like Florida, have not returned.

10. Housing 
Housing is considered by many economists to be the single largest drag on the American economy, and the housing market has gotten much worse in the last two months. A report from The New York Federal Reserve published early this year said: “When home prices began to fall in 2007, owners’ equity in household real estate began to fall rapidly from almost $13.5 trillion in 1Q 2006 to a little under $5.3 trillion in 1Q 2009, a decline in total home equity of over 60 percent.”

Real estate research firm Zillow reported on more recent developments. “Negative equity in the first quarter reached new highs with 28.4 percent of all single-family homes with mortgages underwater, from 27 percent in Q4.” Many homeowners who want to sell their homes cannot do so because they cannot afford to pay their banks at closing. Whether for good or ill, the American home was the primary source for money used for retirements, college educations and the purchases of many expensive items such as cars.

Economists point out the this leverage helped contribute to the credit crisis as people could not cover the costs of home equity loans as real estate values collapsed. This may be true, but the drop in value happened so quickly that the balance sheets of millions of Americans were destroyed. Their ability to consume was severely damaged, further harming GDP. High mortgage payments bankrupted or nearly bankrupted people who have lost jobs or have found that their incomes had stagnated. The building industry became a shambles overnight. And, whatever the effects have been over the last three years, they are getting progressively worse as home values drop to decade lows. There is no relief in sight because potential buyers worry that price erosion has not ended.”

I exhort all Patriots who believe in Freedom, Honor and Country, advance the right of the people through their state legislatures to apply for and call a Constitutional Amendment Convention under Article V of our Constitution.

History has shown that government isolated from the people, turns to corruptionand deceit in a quest for more power and wealth.  This situation is evident in Washington D.C. ,  declaring ‘the general welfare’ tyrants have stolen our freedom.  Government touches every aspect of our lives, the air that we breathe, the water and food that we consume are regulated by an out of control government. 

Government assumes the people do not have enough sense to make informed decisions about the most basic things in life, working, eating, raising a family, taking care of our property and spending our money.

Contact your State Representative and Senator and encourage them to start a discussion in the State Legislatures on applying for a Constitutional Amendment Convention under Article V of The U.S. Constitution.

“At this hearing, the third in a series, we will examine Somalia-based terrorist organization al Shabaab’s ongoing recruitment, radicalization, and training of young Muslim-Americans and al Shabaab’s linking up with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). 

“In Minnesota, Ohio, and other states, dozens of young Muslim males have been recruited, radicalized, and then taken from their communities for overseas terrorist training by al Shabaab.  In a number of cases, the men – including both Somali-Americans and other converts—have carried out suicide bombings or have otherwise been killed, often without their families even knowing where their sons have gone.  There has not been sufficient cooperation from mosque leaders.  In at least one instance, a Minnesota imam told the desperate family of a missing young man not to cooperate with the FBI.

“There are growing concerns that al Shabaab in Somalia is linking up with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in Yemen to better train these radicalized young men in order to attack Americans around the world, as well as launch attacks against our homeland.  

“This coordinated and ongoing recruitment and radicalization of young Muslim men in the U.S. is a serious and growing threat to our homeland security and simply cannot be ignored.”

“For two-and-a-half years, the neo-fascist Democrats, led by Harry Reid, D-NV, and Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, willfully refused to submit a budget, despite controlling a large majority in both houses of Congress and the presidency.

The government has thus been forced to operate on continuing resolutions, allowing them to play brinksmanship games over and over. And each time, they and their Ministry of Propaganda (the “mainstream” media) pour out a torrent of hysterical lies about how the Republicans are out to brutally kill old people, torture autistic children, starve the working poor, cut off medical care for the seriously ill, and any other far-fetched, hateful, rabble-rousing charge they can dream up.

In the meantime, they used their majority to increase the deficit to 400 percent what it was in the last year of the Bush presidency. Although they and the Propaganda Ministry demand that this insane spending be done without debate, without amendment, and without even reading the blatantly unconstitutional spending bills, they are still trying to blame it all on Republicans.

The Ministry of Propaganda is particularly fond of applying the term “unprecedented” to the usurper who currently is squatting in the White House. And I agree. Many things about his actions and those of his unindicted co-conspirators are unprecedented:

1.     Never, in the entire history of America, have the people been so transparently lied to by their government, every day, at every level, and on every issue, as they have been under Obama-Soetoro and the neo-fascist Democrats;

2.    Never, in the entire history of America, has a Congress and/or an administration so willfully ignored and bypassed the Constitution;

3.    Never, in the entire history of America, has a Congress and a president so knowingly ignored the wishes of the citizens, repeatedly passing laws that are unequivocally opposed by large, clear majorities;

4.    Never, in the entire history of America, has a “Justice” Department refused to enforce the laws of the United States, based on racism and political agendas; and

5.     Never, in the entire history of America, has fraud and corruption been so widespread in government, and so totally ignored and/or covered up.

Unprecedented, indeed.

And now we are treated to the spectacle of the “leadership” of both parties putting on an absurd charade, a grotesque farcical mime, ostensibly to solve a non-existent, self-manufactured “crisis.” Our colossal, insane, unsustainable debt, incurred by uncontrolled spending of borrowed money to further a Cloward-Piven-Alinsky strategy aimed at the destruction of free, capitalist America, must be significantly reduced – immediately – or our nation’s AAA credit rating will be lowered. Credit rating companies such as Moody’s Investor Services have made this stipulation unmistakable, unambiguous, and up-front for some time now, yet the cuts being proposed in the Capitol Hill/White House performance are so miniscule as to guarantee a downgrade. It certainly seems that the intention is to knock over the domino that will needlessly start the fatal, global, economic chain reaction.

The horror of all this is that it is needless. It’s been weeks since Paul Ryan, R-WI, introduced a plan that would have gone a long way towards positively solving a number of our budgetary problems. However, it was summarily rejected by the spineless parasites in the Senate.

The simple truth is, this rejection was an act that consequences so obvious that even the intellectually challenged (who seem to make up the majority of the Senate) could not have missed them. Thus, the current debacle and its inevitable negative result, must have been the outcome they desired.

We, the People, appear to be caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place. We apparently cannot stop our so-called representatives from wrecking the economy and the nation. And given the rampant voter fraud and the refusal of the government to acknowledge it, much less do anything about it, I have serious doubts that a neo-fascist takeover is not inevitable in 2012.

America no longer operates with the consent of the governed. Welcome to the Third World. Unprecedented.”

“It’s illegal to yell fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire. It’s called reckless endangerment. It should also be illegal to yell “default” during the current debate about the debt ceiling.

America will not default on its debt. No way. No how. The Treasury secretary must pay the interest on U.S. debt. It’s his number one job. And, he has more than enough revenue to do it — even if the debt ceiling is never raised again in our lifetimes.

Rather than a danger to the economy or to investors, the debt ceiling is the one thing that is forcing a debate on the size and scope of government. When government can use other people’s money to buy votes, the only thing that can stop it is a limit on spending. And if the United States Senate will not pass Cut, Cap and Balance, then the House of Representatives is perfectly justified in using the debt ceiling to force spending cuts.

Just looking at the government’s actions over the past few years, it appears that a strategy of “gorge the beast” is being employed. What’s that, you ask? Well, it’s “spend and borrow so much that the U.S. is forced to raise tax rates to pay for its swollen size.”

What most people don’t realize is that the U.S. has gorged so much (boosting spending from roughly 18% of GDP in 2000 to 24% of GDP today), that the only way to pay for it is to tax the middle class. The president keeps blaming “millionaires and billionaires,” but the top 25% of income earners already pay 86% of total taxes. And even if we raised the 35% top tax rate to 100% (meaning we confiscate all income in that top tax bracket), the U.S. would only collect about $365 billion. This would run the government for only about five weeks and would not solve our debt issues.

The money is in the middle. And the only way our politicians can get it is to follow Europe’s lead and institute a national sales tax or Value-Added Tax (VAT). This is the elephant in the room that is never talked about. Those who are using the debt ceiling in an attempt to cut spending are actually saving the middle class from tax hikes — not the millionaires and billionaires.

Fear and politics are joined at the hip, because fear motivates. And politicians at all levels have used the economy to generate fear for a long time. But, since the Great Depression they have turned it into an art form. Using Keynesian theory, they have convinced many that government spending actually helps the economy. But if this were true — if it were that easy — there would not be one poor person in the entire world, Greece would not be bankrupt and Europe would be wealthier than the U.S.

The truth is that the bigger the government (as a share of GDP), the fewer jobs the economy creates. This is why every country in the history of the world that has tried to spend its way to prosperity or some kind of third-way, economic nirvana, has gone bankrupt or been forced by markets to massively cut back the size of government.

The Tea Party (which so many mainstream politicians love to hate) is trying to force the U.S. to change before it’s too late — before the U.S. hits the financial wall. They appear to be American patriots in the true sense of the word. They are saying: “No more kicking the can down the road.”

Late to the debate are the ratings agencies. They stayed mum when spending was going through the roof but now are threatening to lower the U.S.’s AAA bond rating. In other words, they don’t like having a debate over the size and scope of government spending. Their actions and words suggest that they like the status quo. Moody’s even said it thought the U.S. should get rid of the debt ceiling altogether.

But this would be crazy. Sure, it’s possible to turn the ship of state around without it, but the debt ceiling itself is the only thing forcing adult behavior at the current juncture. If this debate shrinks the size of government, more people will find jobs, the economy will perform better and the stock market will rise.

The bottom line is that the U.S. is nowhere near default. In fact, it can still borrow for 10 years at 3% or less. So, ignore the fire alarms and rejoice that the debt ceiling exists. The U.S. is not going to default and the end-of-the-world arguments are simply an attempt to force a compromise that does not truly fix the financial problems the U.S. has created with its past bad behavior.
