President Obama: Stop the Jokes - Secure the Border!

Almost a year ago, Governor Jan Brewer invited President Barack Obama to visit the Arizona border. He declined. Since then, the Federal Government sued the State of Arizona for doing the job the feds won't do.

Brewer has been celebrated by many for taking action to enforce laws that Washington has long ignored, those who oppose the law continue to choose pithy punch lines over responsible and pragmatic action.

Two days ago in El Paso, President Obama decided once again that Arizona’s unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis are a laughing matter. Unfortunately, no one in Arizona is laughing.

In The Gospel According to St. Matthew, in Chapter 6, Jesus said, “in earth as it is in heaven. . .But seek ye first the kingdom of God.” Christians say, “in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us of our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”—no mention of the kingdom of God.  As Christians have it, God is an almighty in a place called Heaven, and God’s vicars are the Almighty’s earthly messengers.  That is not the way Jesus put it.  Is Christianity a good fit? I don’t think so.  It is living in the past. I’m in touch with the God of tomorrow—everyone’s God.

In Jesus’ first Galilean ministry, in Mark 1:14-15, “Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. . . In Mark 1:17, Jesus said, “Come ye after me and I will make you fishers of men.”  “The time is fulfilled” had to do with what had gone before and the kingdom of God was internal.   Without the kingdom of God, the news today is about as bad as it gets.

We find many problems here, but hey! You can’t know what to do until you know what you did wrong.  That’s something successful people have learned.   The unsuccessful, those depending on government, who don’t know the truth, are not concerned so much with how it got this way but with how we can make it better.  They don’t know the kingdom of God.  They are looking for pie in the sky.  How about living for a change!   That’s what you are here to do.

Jesus saying the time is fulfilled reminds me of what went on in the “Old Testament.”  Toward the end of the “Old Testament,” Habakkuk 1:2- “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!”  What comes around goes around.  Too bad about Israel. In today’s news, the headlines: “Taliban ‘Avenges’ bin Laden Killing.”  Will they never learn?

A Christian, Obama’s pastor for 20 years, Rev. Wright “God damned” America.  A rap singer who calls himself Commons says he started going to Rev. Wright’s church when he was eight.  He hates cops, and we’ve learned, so does Obama. I refer to the incident in Cambridge.    Commons was recently an honored guest at the Whitehouse.   

In Matthew 23:13, Jesus said, “. . .woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom heaven against men. . .”  Right on! Heaven is a place; the kingdom of God is internal.   Obama’s religion calls for collective transformation.  He holds Marxist values.  He supports the Islamic Brotherhood.   “O Lord, how long shall I cry . . .” Will they never learn?

We are now leaving the Age of Pisces, an age of orthodoxy and authoritarianism, entering the Age of Aquarius, when people hate hypocrisy of any kind, an age when people are stubborn in their belief, and operate as equals dealing with equals, an age of brotherhood and fraternity. It is written in the stars.

Last February, I opened my own Web site and named it www.mymiraclemessage.com.   At this writing, I’ve received 5,377 comments, most very favorable.  My thinking is far from the mainstream. You never hear it on the news.  We all know the problem.  People are coming around to my thoughts on the cure.

“As Obama continues to politicize and mine the takedown of Osama Bin Laden and the outrageous “Islamic burial” that followed, new details emerge of his reluctance and refusal to sign off on the mission.

It is the height of hypocrisy and crass opportunism to draw out the release of the death photos so as to prolong the news cycle on the story, and to neglect the tornado-ravaged parts of the country—instead, Obama campaigns at Ground Zero on Thursday for an “O-victory lap,” while it appears that in fact Obama had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the OBL operation.

The story that follows is deeply disturbing, but hardly surprising. When news broke that Obama rejected bombing the complex last month, one had to wonder why. It was reported that Obama feared collateral damage, despite being assured that the walls of the complex were high enough so that no civilians would be killed. Instead, he risked losing Americans in a mano-a-mano raid.

A reluctant American president who was ultimately overridden by senior military and intelligence officials to finally take out terrorist Osama Bin Laden… Ulstermann (hat tip CO)

UPDATE: More details emerge here: “What Valerie Jarrett, and the president, did not know is that Leon Panetta had already initiated a program that reported to him –and only him, involving a covert on the ground attack against the compound.”

Note: This update comes some 24 hours after our longtime Washington D.C. Insider first outlined shocking details of an Obama administration having been “overruled” by senior military and intelligence officials leading up to the successful attack against terrorist Osama Bin Laden.  What follows is further clarification of Insider’s insights surrounding that event.

You stated that President Obama was “overruled” by military/intelligence officials regarding the decision to send in military specialists into the Osama Bin Laden compound.  Was that accurate?

A: I was told – in these exact terms, “we overruled him.” (Obama)  I have since followed up and received further details on exactly what that meant, as well as the specifics of how Leon Panetta worked around the president’s “persistent hesitation to act.” 

There appears NOT to have been an outright overruling of any specific position by President Obama, simply because there was no specific position from the president to do so.  President Obama was, in this case, as in all others, working as an absentee president.

Was correct in stating there had been a push to invade the compound for several weeks if not months, primarily led by Leon Panetta, Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, David Petraeus, and Jim Clapper. 

The primary opposition to this plan originated from Valerie Jarrett, and it was her opposition that was enough to create uncertainty within President Obama. 

Obama would meet with various components of the pro-invasion faction, almost always with Jarrett present, and then often fail to indicate his position. 

This situation continued for some time, though the division between Jarrett/Obama and the rest intensified more recently, most notably from Hillary Clinton.  She was livid over the president’s failure to act, and her office began a campaign of anonymous leaks to the media indicating such. 

As for Jarrett, her concern rested on two primary fronts.  One, that the military action could fail and harm the president’s already weakened standing with both the American public and the world.  Second, that the attack would be viewed as an act of aggression against Muslims, and further destabilize conditions in the Middle East. 

Q: What changed the president’s position and enabled the attack against Osama Bin Laden to proceed?

A:  Nothing changed with the president’s opinion – he continued to avoid having one.  Every time military and intelligence officials appeared to make progress in forming a position, Jarrett would intervene and the stalling would begin again. 

Hillary started the ball really rolling as far as pressuring Obama began, but it was Panetta and Petraeus who ultimately pushed Obama to finally act – sort of. 

Panetta was receiving significant reports from both his direct CIA sources, as well as Petraeus-originating Intel.  Petraeus was threatening to act on his own via a bombing attack.  Panetta reported back to the president that a bombing of the compound would result in successful killing of Osama Bin Laden, and little risk to American lives. 

Initially, as he had done before, the president indicated a willingness to act.  But once again, Jarrett intervened, convincing the president that innocent Pakistani lives could be lost in such a bombing attack, and Obama would be left attempting to explain Panetta’s failed policy. 

Again Obama hesitated – this time openly delaying further meetings to discuss the issue with Panetta.  A brief meeting was held at this time with other officials, including Secretary Gates and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but Gates, like Panetta, was unable to push the president to act. 

It was at this time that Gates indicated to certain Pentagon officials that he may resign earlier than originally indicated – he was that frustrated.  Both Panetta and Clinton convinced him to stay on and see the operation through.

What happened from there is what was described by me as a “masterful manipulation” by Leon Panetta. 

Panetta indicated to Obama that leaks regarding knowledge of Osama Bin Laden’s location were certain to get out sooner rather than later, and action must be taken by the administration or the public backlash to the president’s inaction would be “…significant to the point of political debilitation.” 

It was at that time that Obama stated an on-ground campaign would be far more acceptable to him than a bombing raid.  This was intended as a stalling tactic, and it had originated from Jarrett. 

Such a campaign would take both time, and present a far greater risk of failure.  The president had been instructed by Jarrett to inform Mr. Panetta that he would have sole discretion to act against the Osama Bin Laden compound.  Jarrett believed this would further delay Panetta from acting, as the responsibility for failure would then fall almost entirely on him. 

What Valerie Jarrett, and the president, did not know is that Leon Panetta had already initiated a program that reported to him –and only him, involving a covert on the ground attack against the compound.  Basically, the whole damn operation was already ready to go – including the specific team support Intel necessary to engage the enemy within hours of being given notice.  Panetta then made plans to proceed with an on-ground assault. This information reached either Hillary Clinton or Robert Gates first (likely via military contacts directly associated with the impending mission) who then informed the other.  Those two then met with Panetta, who informed each of them he had been given the authority by the president to proceed with a mission if the opportunity presented itself. 

Both Gates and Clinton warned Panetta of the implications of that authority – namely he was possibly being made into a scapegoat.  Panetta admitted that possibility, but felt the opportunity to get Bin Laden outweighed that risk.  During that meeting, Hillary Clinton was first to pledge her full support for Panetta, indicating she would defend him if necessary.  Similar support was then followed by Gates. 

The following day, and with Panetta’s permission, Clinton met in private with Bill Daley and urged him to get the president’s full and open approval of the Panetta plan.  Daley agreed such approval would be of great benefit to the action, and instructed Clinton to delay proceeding until he had secured that approval. 

Daley contacted Clinton within hours of their meeting indicating Jarrett refused to allow the president to give that approval. 

Daley then informed Clinton that he too would fully support Panetta in his actions, even if it meant disclosing the president’s indecision to the American public should that action fail to produce a successful conclusion. 

Clinton took that message back to Panetta and the CIA director initiated the 48 hour engagement order.  At this point, the President of the United States was not informed of the engagement order – it did not originate from him, and for several hours after the order had been given and the special ops forces were preparing for action into Pakistan from their position in Afghanistan, Daley successfully kept Obama and Jarrett insulated from that order.

This insulation ended at some point with an abort order that I believe originated from Valerie Jarrett’s office, and was then followed up by President Obama.

This abort order was later explained as a delay due to weather conditions, but the actual conditions at that time would have been acceptable for the mission. A storm system had been in the area earlier, but was no longer an issue. Check the data yourself to confirm.

Jarrett, having been caught off guard, was now scrambling to determine who had initiated the plan. She was furious, repeating the acronym “CoC” and saying it was not being followed. This is where Bill Daley intervened directly. The particulars of that intervention are not clear to me beyond knowing he did meet with Jarrett in his office and following that meeting, Valerie Jarrett was not seen in the West Wing for some time, and apparently no longer offered up any resistance to the Osama Bin Laden mission. What did follow from there was one or more brief meetings between Bill Daley, Hillary Clinton, a representative from Robert Gates’ office, a representative from Leon Panetta’s office, and a representative from Jim Clapper’s office.

I have to assume that these meetings were in essence, detailing the move to proceed with the operation against the Osama Bin Laden compound. I have been told by more than one source that Leon Panetta was directing the operation with both his own CIA operatives, as well as direct contacts with military – both entities were reporting to Panetta only at this point, and not the President of the United States.

There was not going to be another delay as had happened 24 hour earlier. The operation was at this time effectively unknown to President Barack Obama or Valerie Jarrett and it remained that way until AFTER it had already been initiated.

President Obama was literally pulled from a golf outing and escorted back to the White House to be informed of the mission. Upon his arrival there was a briefing held which included Bill Daley, John Brennan, and a high ranking member of the military. When Obama emerged from the briefing, he was described as looking “very confused and uncertain.” The president was then placed in the situation room where several of the players in this event had already been watching the operation unfold. Another interesting tidbit regarding this is that the Vice President was already “up to speed” on the operation. A source indicated they believe Hillary Clinton had personally made certain the Vice President was made aware of that day’s events before the president was. The now famous photo released shows the particulars of that of that room and its occupants.

What that photo does not communicate directly is that the military personnel present in that room during the operation unfolding, deferred to either Hillary Clinton or Robert Gates. The president’s role was minimal, including their acknowledging of his presence in the room.

At the conclusion of the mission, after it had been repeatedly confirmed a success, President Obama was once again briefed behind closed doors.  The only ones who went in that room besides the president were Bill Daley. John Brennan, and a third individual whose identity remains unknown to me.  When leaving this briefing, the president came out of it“…much more confident. Much more certain of himself.”  He was also carrying papers in his hand that quite possibly was the address to the nation given later that evening on the Bin Laden mission.  The president did not have those papers with him prior to that briefing.

The president then returned to the war room, where by this time, Leon Panetta had personally arrived and was receiving congratulations from all who were present.

In my initial communication to you of these events I described what unfolded as a temporary Coup initiated by high ranking intelligence and military officials. I stand by that term.  These figures worked around the uncertainty of President Obama and the repeated resistance of Valerie Jarrett."

WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

We have seen a generation go by without an U.S. Energy Policy.  We should have had one back in the 1970's.  Why has Congress and each succeeding Administration not implemented an energy policy?  Who benefits by the U.S. not having an energy policy?  We know who suffers, i.e., the U.S. Citizen.  Is this a conspiracy to benefit a group of people?  Is it a Congressional paralysis?  Is it possible that each and every Administration since the 1970's has suffered a paralysis of analysis?  Is Congress getting orders from the International bankers not to pass an Energy Policy?  Who or what is preventing the Congress from generating something as important as an Energy Policy without which the welfare of the U.S. is being adversely affected?  What is really going on?  It seems to me that it is not Rocket Science to generate an Energy policy.  It has been 40 years in the non-making.  Congress should have been able to generate at least 20 Energy policies during that time.  What is keeping them from doing their job?

In listening to the Democrats drill the oil executives (not drilling for oil but drilling the oil executives) on CSPAN one of them made the comment that we should spread the suffering wherein one of oil executives replied that we should increase the prosperity instead.  Bravo for him!

With no Energy policy we do not know who benefits but we surely know who is suffering with high gas prices at the pump.

Raising the taxes on oil companies will ultimately prevent them for competing on the world market with foreign oil companies who pay less taxes.  This ultimately will result in higher gas prices and increased U.S. unemployment.  But I get the distinct impression that the Democrats and possibly some of the Republicans don't really care if we pay higher prices at the pump.

Who gets the lions share of the oil revenue?  Would you believe the Federal and State governments get 50% of the revenue. 

In this drilling of the oil executives there was no reference made to cutting spending.  Just give us more money so we can spend more seemed to be the underlying theme of the Democrats. 

The oil executives have indicated that the numbers show that if they were allowed to drill more here in the U.S (lifting the current restrictions on retreving oil) the revenue that Congress is seeking would be forthcoming, in fact, upwards to One Trillion dollars.  So the question is why are they tying the hands of the oil companies from retreving oil here in the USA?  Again, who benefits by not allowing drilling?  So the democrats are basicly of the opinion that it is ok for the people to pay higher prices at the pump as long as the government gets the lion share of the revenue and the oil companies can survive on a limited profit basis.  It is my understanding that the oil companies make approximately 6 cents on a gallon of gas and the combined Federal and States revenue intake is approximately 50 percent of a gallon of gas.  Correct me if I am wrong!  That would be current approximately $2.00 per gallon at the current $4.00 per gallon of gas.  They don't want the oil companies to go out of business...no ...no....they just want more for their spending sprees. 

Again the question arises WHO BENEFITS BY THE U.S. NOT HAVING AN ENERGY POLICY?

A trailer for the film, titled “Better This World,” suggested that the terrorists in question -- David Guy McKay and Bradley Neil Crowder -- were merely idealistic activists who “set out to prove the strength of their political convictions to themselves and their mentor.”

According to Richard Poe, co-author (with David Horowitz) of the 2006 book The Shadow Party:

"The Shadow Party is the real power driving the Democrat machine.  It is a network of radicals dedicated to transforming our constitutional republic into a socialist hive. The leader of these radicals is ... George Soros. He has essentially privatized the Democratic Party, bringing it under his personal control. The Shadow Party is the instrument through which he exerts that control. ... It works by siphoning off hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign contributions that would have gone to the Democratic Party in normal times, and putting those contributions at the personal disposal of Mr. Soros. He then uses that money to buy influence and loyalty where he sees fit. In 2003, Soros set up a network of privately-owned groups which acts as a shadow or mirror image of the Party. It performs all the functions we would normally expect the real Democratic Party to perform, such as shaping the Party platform, fielding candidates, running campaigns, and so forth.  However, it performs these functions under the private supervision of Mr. Soros and his associates. The Shadow Party derives its power from its ability to raise huge sums of money.  By controlling the Democrat purse strings, the Shadow Party can make or break any Democrat candidate by deciding whether or not to fund him. During the 2004 election cycle, the Shadow Party raised more than $300 million for Democrat candidates, prompting one of its operatives, MoveOn PAC director Eli Pariser, to declare, 'Now it’s our party.  We bought it, we own it…'"

Soros in 2004 spent some $26 million trying, unsuccessfully, to defeat President Bush’s reelection bid, a task Soros called “the central focus of my life” and “a matter of life and death.” He has likened Republicans generally, and the Bush administration in particular, to “the Nazi and communist regimes” in the sense that they are “all engaged in the politics of fear.”

“Indeed,” he wrote in 2006, “the Bush administration has been able to improve on the techniques used by the Nazi and Communist propaganda machines by drawing on the innovations of the advertising and marketing industries.” Soros elaborated on this theme at the January 2007 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he told reporters: “America needs to . . . go through a certain de-Nazification process.”



Soros has been a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton, who, in turn, has long admired Soros and shares many of his agendas. 

At a 2004 "Take Back America" conference in Washington, DC, Mrs. Clinton introduced Soros with these words:

“Now, among the many people who have stood up and said, ‘I cannot sit by and let this happen to the country I love,’ is George Soros, and I have known George Soros for a long time now, and I first came across his work in the former Soviet Union, in Eastern Europe, when I was privileged to travel there, both on my own and with my husband on behalf of our country. ...  [W]e need people like George Soros, who is fearless, and willing to step up when it counts.” (Cited in David Horowitz and Richard Poe, The Shadow Party, p. 53) 

In December of 2006, Soros met with Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama in his (Soros') New York office. Soros had previously hosted a fundraiser for Obama during the latter's 2004 campaign for the Senate. On January 16, 2007, Obama announced the creation of a presidential exploratory committee, and within hours Soros sent the senator a contribution of $2,100, the maximum amount allowable under campaign finance laws. Later that week the New York Daily News reported that Soros would back Obama over Senator Hillary Clinton, whom he had supported in the past. Soros' announcement was seen as a repudiation of Clinton's presidential aspirations, though Soros said he would support the New York senator were she to win the Democratic nomination.



By the time Obama was elected, it was clear that his economic and political prescriptions for America were quite consistent with those of Soros.

For example, in a November 2008 interview with Spiegel, Soros made some comments, which foreshadowed precisely the course that President Obama's administration would eventually pursue in 2009.

Said Soros:

"I think we need a large stimulus package which will provide funds for state and local government to maintain their budgets ... For such a program to be successful, the federal government would need to provide hundreds of billions of dollars. In addition, another infrastructure program is necessary. In total, the cost would be in the 300 to 600 billion dollar range…. I think this is a great opportunity to finally deal with global warming and energy dependence. The U.S. needs a cap and trade system with auctioning of licenses for emissions rights. I would use the revenues from these auctions to launch a new, environmentally friendly energy policy."

The interviewer then said: "Your proposal would be dismissed on Wall Street as 'big government.' Republicans might call it European-style 'socialism.'"

Soros replied:

"That is exactly what we need now. I am against market fundamentalism. I think this propaganda that government involvement is always bad has been very successful -- but also very harmful to our society…. I think it is better to have a government that wants to provide good government than a government that doesn't believe in government…. At times of recession, running a budget deficit is highly desirable."

Glenn is very religious.  He spent two days in Israel and has brought back an important message, a message far bigger than Glenn realizes. The Islamic Brotherhood and Marxist revolutionaries, says Glenn, are joining forces.  They plan on doing away with Israel—“Little Satin.” 

Israel, says Glenn, is an emblem of freedom. Marxist Barack Obama gave the order to kill Osama bin Laden. His popularity soared, as did the anger of the Brotherhood.   Osama was responsible for destroying the World Trade Center, an emblem of capitalism.   Osama was responsible for damaging the Pentagon, an emblem of military might.  Obama, master of duplicity, calls the Mid-East revolution a democratic movement. The best organized, says Glen, is the Brotherhood, whose aim is to destroy “Little Satan.”  The United States is “Big Satin,” says Glenn.   If you listen of Glenn, there is a sinister connection in killing Osama bin Laden with the Brotherhood and Marxism—getting rid of Israel and American freedom; turn the world into a totalitarian Marxist-Islamic dictatorship.  

Glenn, like most of the world’s present population, sees the world the same as the ancients saw the world.  We don’t live in the ancient world.  When you view a TV screen, you see a picture. What you actually see is a small dot of light traveling across the screen, lighting it up.  What you see is photons, tiny packets of energy. When physicists observe light waves, they collapse and become photons.  The optic nerve carries photons to the brain. What you see is a tree.  What you see and believe is not the complete reality.

Einstein informed us that everything can be reduced to vibrations.  Vibrations can be reduced to numbers, so many vibrations per second.  What we can’t see can be explained with numbers.  Neither Obama, the Brotherhood, Mid-East revolutionaries, the American people, or Beck understand what the ancient sages of India understood: so is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm.

Moreover, none of the above understand what the “wise men” of Persia understood. The Bible refers to “wise men” who followed the Star of Bethlehem to the birthplace of Christ.  The so-called “wise men” were skilled mathematicians.  In addition to being engineers, they invented the zodiac; they reduced the universe to numbers—and predicted events and human characteristics through the zodiac, a map of the heavens.  Their zodiac was a circle, a clockworks divided into 12 pie shaped parts they called ages, each with a sign, each lasting about 2,000 years. Christ was born under the sign of Pisces. The Age of Pisces produced people who tended to be easily influenced, subject to external influences, and generally not strong willed. The sign of Pisces is two attached fish swimming in opposite directions.  Does Pisces have a familiar ring? Jesus said to his disciples that before the cock crowed they would deny him three times, which is characteristic of the Pisces nature.

With the thoughts I’ve laid before you, when we read the ending chapters of the “Old Testament,” especially in Habakkuk 2:2, “O Lord how long shall I cry, and thou will not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!”  And even the very last words of the “Old Testament,” in Malichi 4:6, “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heard of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse,” I think of Israel, its doctrines and dogmas clinging to the past.  Will they never learn? After what Joshua did to the Canaanites, really Glenn!  And the Muslims cling to the past, too.  It has been a continuing holy war.  Enough!

Glen tells us Jerusalem is divided into four sections, including an Arab section, and all the sections peaceful.  Why call Israel the Promsed Land, Glenn?    You are Christian.

From Malichi to Matthew, the first of the four Gospels of “The New Testament,”  Jesus had your answers, Glenn.  Also, I would add, the end of the Age of Pisces, our time, and the dawn of the Age of Aquarius, when he said in Matthew 6:10, “Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. In 6:24, he said, “No man can serve two masters.” In 6:33, he said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God.”  Where is the kingdom of God? Pisceans are attached to external factors. As you have said many times, Glenn, God is in you and I. Earth and heaven are places.  So, where is the heart of Israel, in a Promised Land? No, Glenn. God has never promised land to anybody.   We, the people, are being misled. 

God said, in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in our image.”  When Moses asked God who to tell his people God’s name was, God said I AM THAT I AM.  We have greater awareness than other life; we are capable of being in direct communication with the consciousness of the universe.  Glenn, we hold within us the intelligence to control any situation, to make ourselves anything we will.  So, when you say “keep the faith,” you leave out something very important.

Coincidentally, at the exact time of my birth, today’s “wise men” say, my rising sign is Aquarius, and that I would be gifted in being able to see the future.  Besides that, since Saturn is trine Pluto in my astrological chart,  today’s “wise men” say, it means I’m cognizant of the more subtle workings of the universe, that I would work to improve my own life and the lives of others.

When Obama was elected President in November 2008, Saturn and Pluto went into their worst alignment.  Says distinguished philosopher and cultural historian Richard Tarnas in Cosmos and Psyche, this alignment means “intense contraction,” “international crises,” empowerment of reactionary forces,” and “totalitarianism.”  The book was published in 2006.  In truth, Obama lied.  The book was a prophecy based on the undeniable evidence, as Jesus said, that “in earth as it is in heaven. . .But seek ye first the kingdom of God.”

In Astrologer’s Handbook, we read that Aquarians are stubborn and determined.  They are annoyed when people are unreceptive.  They hate hypocrisy and double talk.  Aquarians operate as equals among equals.  They are independent.

At this writing, and only since early February when I started blogging on my own domain, there have been 5,265 comments, mostly favorable.  I connect with people. I’m bringing them a message of the future. They are responding.  The information I’m giving people is info they don’t get anywhere else.

The present dark time marks the death throes of the Age of Pisces. But something more than the Age of Aquarius enters. The Mayan Calendar combines the zodiac with a greater clockworks. We approach the end of the end, the beginning of the beginning. In birth, there is always pain. We are at the threshold of human evolvement. We become galactic in our consciousness.   

You need to bone up on the latest science, Glenn. In the year and month of my birth, September 1925, a sign of the time, physicist Werner Heisenberg published his uncertainty principle, the forerunner of quantum mechanics.  Quantum mechanics looked into the microcosmic world. Using today’s mathematics, the cutting edge of science came up with mathematics that disagreed with Einstein’s, and by reason that deductions can be made from their mathematics.  And why not?  Juries convict people on circumstantial evidence.  I’ll tell you why not, Glenn.  The powers that be do not accept the new evidence of reality because it replaces their power with individual power.

Newton’s  immutable laws of motion don’t take into consideration that something more exists, something non-physical: consciousness.   Consciousness can involve observation and the human will. Glenn, you should read The Physics of Consciousness by brain doctor and quantum physicist Evan Harris Walker.  Under “A God for Tomorrow,” he writes: “In the development of quantum theory, the observer emerges as a co-equal in the foundry of creation. . . The observer interacts with matter.  Consciousness, the substance of this newfound reality that defines the observer, has fundamental existence.  It is the quantum mind that is the basic reality.”

A photo posted on Twitter of a baby receiving a pat-down at Kansas City International Airport is the latest in a number of recent highly publicized incidents of airport security screenings involving young children.

The photo taken by Kansas City pastor Jacob Jester on Saturday and posted on Twitter has been viewed nearly 300,000 times.

“I really didn’t stop to think about what would happen,” Jester told msnbc.com. “I just snapped a picture.”

Jester said he was traveling to Albuquerque on Saturday when he noticed the woman behind him was traveling with a baby about the same age as his son. He had just passed through security when he looked back and saw the baby receiving the pat-down.

“My thinking was, this is an extreme measure. I wouldn’t want that to happen to my own son,” Jester said.

The Transportation Security Administration posted a response on its blog: “We reviewed the screening of this family, and found that the child’s stroller alarmed during explosives screening. Our officers followed proper current screening procedures by screening the family after the alarm, who by the way were very cooperative and were on the way to their gate in no time.”

“On Monday we brought you the story of the rapper “Common” who, despite his controversial cop-killing lyrics, has been invited to a poetry event at the White House. His lyrics and the invitation enraged many readers of this site. Now, that sentiment has spread. Not only did Glenn Beck hilariously lampoon the invitation on his Wednesday radio show, but now the New Jersey state police union has also come out against the appearance.

“The young people who read this stuff, hear this stuff, are getting a very dangerous and deadly message,” David Jones, president of the State Troopers Fraternal Association union, told NBCNewYork.com. His anger stems from the lyrics to “A Song for Assata,” which praises convicted cop-killer and former Black Panther Assata Shakur.

“Your power and pride is beautiful,” he says in the song. “May God bless your soul.” The entire song is below:

Shakur, who used to go by Joanne Chesimard, was convicted of killing Trooper Werner Foerster on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973. She escaped prison in 1979 and is currently living in Cuba. The FBI currently has a $1 million bounty on her capture.

“Hopefully someday she’ll be caught,” Sal Maggio, a retired troop commander with the state police, told NBCNewYork.com, adding that officers still talk about the incident and the bounty.

But the troopers and their union aren‘t the only one upset about Common’s visit. On radio Wednesday, Glenn showered the event with a heavy dose of comedy and sarcasm.

“They had a rapper at the White House. Sure he does a little poetry about shooting cops, but who hasn’t done that as a president in the White House?” he asked mockingly, before pointing out the president has surrounded himself with anti-cop sympathizers in the past.”

“Politico reports on something that should already be common knowledge to readers of this blog — that the phantom menace of sharia law has become a “consensus issue” among Republican presidential contenders:

As potential GOP candidates jockey to distinguish themselves heading into primary season, there seems to be at least one issue on which they widely agree: Sharia law is a continuing threat to the United States.

Invoking Sharia and casting it as a growing danger at odds with American principles has become a rallying cry for conservatives. It’s also quickly becoming an unlikely pet issue among 2012 presidential contenders: Potential candidates have almost unilaterally assailed the Islamic code, making it as much a staple of the campaign stump speech as economic reform, job creation and rising gas prices.

The idea that American Muslims will somehow replace the Constitution with Taliban-style sharia law is a ludicrous conspiracy theory, which is why it’s so bizarre that it’s even become a political issue. State legislatures across the country have proposed or passed sharia law bans, which are patently unconstitutional given the First Amendment’s protections against government interference with religious worship. The only context in which sharia comes into play in the American legal system is in matters of civil arbitration and contracts — and there’s a longstanding American precedent for allowing the faithful to address such matters through religious arbitration if they so choose, but such agreements aren’t allowed to preempt civil law. Indeed, there’s growing alarm among Orthodox Jewish communities that anti-sharia legislation could ultimately interfere with their freedom to resolve matters through religious arbitration.

Muslims represent a painfully small percentage of the American population. And not even the Christian right, despite all of its political influence, has never been able to realize its dream of eroding the separation of Church and state or stemming the tide of growing public approval for same-sex marriage. Pew estimates that the American Muslim population will comprise a whopping 6.2 million by 2030, less than two percent of the total population of the U.S. The idea that they will be able to impose their will on the rest of the country, even if they wanted to, is ridiculous.

Islam is like any other religion — interpretation of its principles shift according to its adherents. What’s remarkable is that, far from protecting Americans from extremism, sharia panic actually demonizes and alienates American Muslims who are an essential resource in the fight against terrorism.

The prospect of successful federal anti-sharia legislation seems unlikely, if only because the constitutional hurdles are so high. “America’s founders knew that liberty is about more than just securing political freedoms. True liberty requires economic freedom—the ability to profit from our own ideas and labor, to work, produce, consume, own, trade, and invest according to our own choices. Thomas Jefferson underscored that point when he observed that “a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement.”

This belief in political and economic freedom has had real consequences. Americans have cultivated, amassed, and shared throughout their society the greatest stock of personal and national wealth in history. George Washington predicted no less when he observed that a people “possessed of the spirit of commerce, who see, and who will pursue their advantage, may achieve almost anything.”

Why should economic freedom matter to Americans today?

The American Founders always had a keen sense of the importance of economic freedom and the extent to which it was intertwined with political liberty. The American Revolution started as a rebellion against “taxation without representation”—against economic policies over which they had no say. That was the breaking point, the reaction to a long list of unanswered grievances against a far-away government that repeatedly abused their rights.

In light of that “long train of abuses and usurpations,” the Declaration of Independence asserted America’s liberty by appealing to man’s fundamental rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” And the pursuit of happiness the Founders understood to require the protection of property because the right to enjoy the fruit of one’s labor is a fundamental tenet of liberty.

“It is evident that the right of acquiring and possessing property, and having it protected, is one of the natural, inherent, and unalienable rights of man,” Supreme Court Justice William Paterson wrote in 1795. “No man would become a member of a community, in which he could not enjoy the fruits of his honest labour and industry.”[1]

The right to own property protects other freedoms. Congregations own churches where they practice religious freedom. Newspapers own printing presses, which facilitate the freedom of the press. Home ownership contributes to the financial well-being and security of families. Business property produces goods and services to trade in an open market, just as intellectual property protects ideas and innovation. The right to property guarantees the means to live in freedom and practice self-government.

In designing a framework of government for our nation, the Founders knew what they did not want. They rejected European aristocratic systems that favored the established rich and also an all-powerful government that would tax and redistribute wealth according to arbitrary political interests. Neither model secured individual liberty; both subjected people to the whims of others.

Yet they knew too little government caused problems as well. The Articles of Confederation not only failed to provide the means to protect the rights and security of the people of the nascent union but also gave Congress no authority to regulate commerce—to make commerce “regular” in order to ensure Americans had access to what they could not produce themselves. States had imposed competing tariffs that restricted the flow of goods among them while trying to attract foreign trade to their own ports.

Under the Constitution the federal government’s two most important functions concern the nation’s security (to “provide for the common defence”) and the national economy (the power to regulate interstate commerce, tax, and set the national currency). Not only does the Constitution limit the reach of the federal government into the everyday lives of Americans, but in abolishing restrictions on trade among the states[2] it created the world’s first modern free trade area. As the young nation expanded its borders across the continent and its population grew, this freedom to trade unleashed opportunities for specialization and exchange, fueling economic growth and prosperity.[3]

History continues to prove the wisdom of the Founders’ belief in the unity of both political and economic freedom. “True liberty, by protecting the exertions of talent and industry,” Alexander Hamilton argued, “tends more powerfully than any other cause to augment the mass of national wealth.”[4] By empowering individuals to pursue their own gain in a market in which goods and services are traded at fair prices and property rights and contracts are enforced, they are also contributing to the economic gain of others. To this day, the United States upholds a dynamic social order in which individuals are free to rise—and to fall—on the road to success.

As a sovereign nation, the responsibility for ensuring Americans can market the fruits of their labor abroad rests with the federal government. The Founders deeply resented the King of England “cutting off our trade with all parts of the World.”[5]Commerce was vital to their way of life, and as Benjamin Franklin wrote in the Principles of Trade in 1774, “No nation was ever ruined by trade.”

Then, as now, some have wanted government to impose regulations, tariffs, taxes, or other interventions to protect and advantage certain activities and to minimize economic risk. That might have made sense at the start of the country. Yet, thankfully, there always have been stronger voices who knew that such policies would wind up strangling the creativity, productivity, competition, and access to markets that people need to flourish and prosper and economies need to grow and remain strong.

The challenge for America’s leaders has always been to keep government from getting too burdensome and too involved in economic markets. That’s why throughout our history, most American leaders have agreed with the Founders that the greatest gain for each comes from free markets and free trade for all.

Andrew Jackson resolved trade disputes with France, Denmark, Portugal, and Spain to America’s advantage. He signed a trade agreement with Great Britain that reopened trade with the British West Indies, and the first trade agreement with an Asian nation, Siam. He also signed trade agreements with Russia, Spain, and Turkey. Overall, under Jackson, Americans saw a 75 percent growth in exporting and 250 percent growth in imports.

The free trade tradition was carried on by presidents like James Polk, who reduced tariffs, and Ronald Reagan, who proposed a North American free trade area and signed a free trade agreement with Canada. His vision became reality when Bill Clinton signed the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1993—creating the world’s largest free trade area and increasing trade in the hemisphere from $297 billion in 1993 to almost $1 trillion in 2007.

What these presidents understood is that economic freedom matters. Tariffs make the cost of imports higher and have a dampening effect on competition, which would otherwise help bring prices down. But it means much more than opening trade by reducing tariffs, as the annual Heritage Foundation/Wall Street Journal Index of Economic Freedom documents. If economic policies cause prices to rise, the value of the dollar in our pockets declines, and with it our ability to buy and do what we want; it cheapens our labor. If government imposes additional costs on consumers and businesses through higher taxes, fees, and regulation, or restricts the fair use of our property, economic freedom falls.

The loss of economic freedom hits the poor especially hard. Over the past decade, countries that increased economic freedom saw poverty levels fall almost twice as much as countries that lost freedom. People in countries with more economic freedom were not only happier, but more prosperous. The correlation between economic freedom and prosperity is stunningly high, with more freedom translating to greater per capita income.[6]

As Thomas Jefferson wrote to John Adams in 1785, “all the world would gain by setting commerce at perfect liberty.”[7]

Economic freedom—free markets at home and free trade in the world—is essential to human liberty. Without it, people are unable to improve the conditions under which they and their posterity will live. Worse, they are vulnerable to oppression, especially by the state. We only need recall the human toll of slavery and Soviet Communism to understand what Friedrich Hayek meant when he noted that “to be controlled in our economic pursuits means to be always controlled,” and that if all economic decisions require the approval of government, then “we should really be controlled in everything.” [8] In the end, liberty is whole and universal: The world will not be free politically if it is not free economically.

America’s openness to trade has always fueled its economic expansion. Over the past 50 years, the United States led the way in expanding free trade worldwide. For the most part, we have taken George Washington’s advice to “hold an equal and impartial hand ... diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of Commerce.”[9] Yet today, as more and more nations have decided to follow that lead, political leaders in the United States have chosen to intervene more directly in the economy and impose heavy regulations that put American businesses at a competitive disadvantage.

If America’s commitment to economic freedom—not only by its policies but by its leadership in the world—continues to flag, it neglects its national interests and betrays its core principles. In doing so, it also jeopardizes the security, prosperity and liberty not only of the United States but much of the world as well.

“The White House correspondents’ dinner might have been two weeks ago, but President Barack Obama continued his comedy routine yesterday in El Paso, Texas, only this time Donald Trump wasn’t the butt of the jokes. Instead, during a speech on immigration, the president mocked Republicans at large, the rule of law, and any American who takes the defense of our nation seriously.

Respectfully, Mr. President, illegal immigration and border security are no laughing matter.

But to the president, they apparently are, especially when it provides fodder for a purely political speech, delivered amid a round of campaign fundraisers in the Lone Star State. After claiming that his administration has “gone above and beyond” Republicans’ calls for immigration reform (which he hasn’t), Obama launched into an all-out assault on the GOP:

We have gone above and beyond what was requested by the very Republicans who said they supported broader reform as long as we got serious about enforcement. All the stuff they asked for, we’ve done. But even though we’ve answered these concerns, I gotta say I suspect there are still going to be some who are trying to move the goal posts on us one more time.

You know, they said we needed to triple the Border Patrol. Or now they’re going to say we need to quadruple the Border Patrol. Or they’ll want a higher fence. Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they’ll want alligators in the moat.”

And if that weren’t enough to prove just how political the speech was, the White House went so far as to include catcalls from the audience on the official transcript from the speech, including, “We love you!,” “Tear it down!,” “They’re racist!,” 53 mentions of the audience’s applause and nine mentions of laughter. We get it, Mr. President — you played to your crowd quite well.

This isn’t a question of racism, the goal posts haven’t moved, and a moat is not what’s needed. In case the president hasn’t noticed, the 1,896-mile Rio Grande, arid deserts, treacherous mountain ranges, Border Patrol and hundreds of miles of fence haven’t been enough. And though the president claimed, “The fence is now basically complete,” a February 2011 GAO report shows that Border Patrol does not have control of the border.

Maybe, amid all the applause, the president hasn’t noticed that millions of illegal immigrants now live in the United States, and our laws aren’t being enforced. And when Arizona attempted to enforce the law since the federal government would not,the Obama Justice Department sued to stop it.

Rather than offer effective solutions to the illegal immigration problem, Obama’s response was to ridicule those seeking to enforce the law and offer amnesty for others to curry their political favor. He even dredged up the DREAM Act, a mini-amnesty in sheep’s clothing, which fell flat on its face in Congress. That’s par for the course with this president, who continues to place politics before policy as a matter of routine. The Heritage Foundation’s Jena McNeill explains:

An amnesty would cost taxpayers millions, if not billions of dollars—at a time where debt is at its ceiling and budgets are busted. It would also reward those who broke the law and came to the U.S. illegally over those who came to the U.S. the legal way.

Solving the problem, though, isn’t the president’s goal. Cynically winning Hispanic votes is his end game. Heritage’s Israel Ortega writes:

It’s obvious that political calculations are driving the President’s push for immigration reform in light of his all-time-low support among Hispanics. President Obama’s advisors remain convinced that immigration reform will guarantee their support, despite polling that indicates that unemployment and education are issues that keep most Hispanics up at night.

Unfortunately President Obama continues to believe that Hispanics are single-issue voters who will reward him for his stump speeches on immigration.

America faces a real illegal immigration problem. It also faces an unemployment problem, a spending problem, an entitlements problem and a national security problem.

On immigration, the right solution is making a real commitment to border security, workplace and immigration enforcement, a temporary worker program and visa reforms to get employers the employees they need. On all of the above, the solution starts with a president who is willing to lead and get down to business — but not the business of taking cheap shots to score points in the political arena.”

“President Obama’s Justice Department is trying to deflect responsibility over decisions in the Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious investigations, which are being spearheaded by House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican, and Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican. Last Wednesday, Issa released new Project Gunrunner documents, including an approved wiretap application bearing Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s name. Though Breuer didn’t sign it, his Deputy Assistant Attorney General (DAAG), Kenneth Blanc, did.

Now the DOJ says Blanc’s signature and Breuer’s name doesn’t imply any federal-level responsibility. Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler told The Daily Caller that the Obama administration’s DOJ officials routinely approve thousands of wiretap applications without knowing the specifics of the cases they’re signing off on.

“The review process for wiretap applications is a narrow assessment of whether a legal basis exists to support a surveillance request that ultimately goes before a judge for decision,” Schmaler said in an email. “These reviews are not approval of the underlying investigations or operations.”

House Oversight Committee spokesman Frederick Hill told TheDC he thinks it’s disturbing that the DOJ is routinely approving wiretap applications like this one. “The assertion that the Justice Department has a robo-signing process for wiretap applications is a deeply troubling defense,” Hill said in an email. “Applications for wiretaps generally include detailed descriptions of law enforcement activities, sworn statements and explanations for why invasive wiretaps are crucial to an investigation. Claiming ignorance on an operation where wiretaps were approved by high level officials raises even more concerns about irresponsible and reckless decisions by Justice officials that contributed to the deaths of two federal agents.”

Former federal prosecutor and Foundation for the Defense of Democracies Center for Law and Counterterrorism co-chair Andrew McCarthy told TheDC Schmaler is right in that Justice Department officials don’t have time to review facts and details of every wiretap application they sign. But, McCarthy said, that doesn’t absolve top officials of responsibility when something goes awry.

“Nobody would expect the Deputy Attorney General to know the details like the prosecutor on the case, but if your name is on something and it’s a screw-up, you’re going to end up being responsible for it not in the sense that anyone expects you to know all the facts, but if you’ve been relying on someone who isn’t doing a good job to vet these things, then that is your responsibility,” McCarthy said. “The reason that Congress put this requirement in the statute is because they wanted Justice Department oversight on the district offices because wiretaps are so invasive.”

Schmaler said the applications still have to go before a judge for final approval. But, Schmaler shifts any DOJ responsibility down the chain to local officials, even though Obama’s politically appointed U.S. attorney Dennis Burke, who oversees the U.S. Attorney’s Arizona District, has made decisions on the gun “walking” programs, along with several local officials. “As the department has stated, the Fast and Furious operation was approved by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona and the ATF Phoenix Field Office,” Schmaler told TheDC. “The investigation was subsequently approved by the multi-agency Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Program.”

The approved wiretap application bearing Breuer’s name and Blanc’s signature was one of three documents Issa released Wednesday. It’s a part of investigations he and Grassley conducting on the Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious programs from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Through Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious, ATF essentially allowed American guns to be “walked,” or trafficked via “straw purchasers,” into Mexico. The guns then ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels and, apparently, the programs’ ultimate goal was to track the larger weapons trafficking market.

Another twist in the storyline is that two dead Border Patrol agents were likely shot with weapons ATF allowed into Mexican drug cartels’ hands. Justice officials were tracking two AK47s found at the scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s death. Federal officials charged three Mexican nationals with Terry’s murder late last week, but Issa said the good news doesn’t lift Attorney General Eric Holder and the rest of the DOJ off the hook.

“The Justice Department hasn’t said how and why guns purportedly being tracked and monitored by federal law enforcement officials as part of Operation Fast and Furious ended up in the hands of Agent Terry’s killers,” Issa said in a statement. “It angers me to think that this death might not have occurred had it not been for reckless decisions made by officials at the Department of Justice who authorized and supported an operation that knowingly put guns in the hands of criminals. For these officials to imagine that this operation would result in anything other than a tragic outcome was naive and negligent.”
