We all have those around us who just can't seem to remember history, or find it easier to distort it than believe it.  Well, here's a little nugget we all  need to carry with us every day and SCREAM FROM THE ROOFTOPS---REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007!!

The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. 

The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this: 

January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION! 

Remember that day...
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that BarneyFrank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? 

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney ) for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment...to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES! 

(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 times to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy). Barney blocked it and called it a "Chicken Little Philosophy" (and the sky did fall!) 

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA 

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, especially BARNEY!!!! 

So when someone tries to blame Bush...
REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007....THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!" 

Bush may have been in the car but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving the economy into the ditch. 

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.  

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011. 

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. 

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget. 

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period:

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending.After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is "I inherited a deficit that I voted for,
And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th."

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

"The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living."

I am talking to you, American citizen: Your school district is laying real teachers off, and bringing teachers from Latin America to work in the bilingual programs. Isn't it the time to act right now?. 

Call your State Representative, your State Senator and tell them that, the illegals are not goint to vote for them anyway. Why pander to LULAC?

We, the people of the United States of America are not in a popularity contest. If they don't like it, they can go back, or try to invade other lands. Let's stop this social experiment!!!! What are you waiting for?

You and I are politically well informed. But there are many Americans like my family who do not follow politics as closely as we do. Their political views are shaped by liberal media bias hit pieces, spin and sound bites.

99.9 % of my family are democrats because Marcus family traditional taught us the democrats are “for the little guy”. Republicans are “rich white racists”. Liberal media and the Democratic Party jointly support and promote this silly simple lie which still wins the democrats 95% of the black vote.

Despite me, the eldest of his five children being a black conservative tea party Republican, my 84 year old dad's negative view of Republicans remains steadfast. Dad tolerates my baffling political views because he loves me.

However, I would not be surprised if my family scheduled an intervention. A black van pulls up, a hood is thrown over my head and I'm carted off to an undisclosed location. I am denied food, water, bathroom privileges and subjected to video of Obama speeches 24/7 until I break.

It occurred to me that my family like many Americans are probably clueless regarding the truth of what it means to be a liberal and a conservative. Ironically, the majority of my family lives extremely responsible “conservative” lives. They go to work every day, serve their communities, attend church and raise their kids. And yet, the liberal media has lead them to believe the term “conservative” equals evil white racist.

So, I would like to offer my family and others a little “Conservatism 101”. For fun, let's call it “Conservatism for Dummies”.

Let us begin with a parable.

Tale of Two Dads- School is Difficult and Little Johnny Wishes to Stay Home.

Little Johnny says, “Dad I don't want to go to school. The kids are mean and the work is too hard!”

Liberal Dad replies, “I know just how you feel son. School was no picnic for me either. Stay home today”.

Conservative Dad replies, “Boy, you had better get your butt out of that bed and get ready for school. I'll talk to the principal and your teachers to work out any problems. An education is vital to your future success and happiness. I'm forcing you to go to school because I love you!”

I am not suggesting Liberal Dad does not love his child. But Liberal Dad's attempt to be his child's friend rather than a responsible parent is a spineless choice all about making himself feel good.

Patently liberal. Most liberal thinking and choices are about making themselves feel good as opposed to truly helping the people they claim to feel great compassion towards.

Conservative Dad's reply was that, not of a friend, but a responsible loving parent.

Liberalism is a religion. Despite failing whenever implemented, disciples of Liberalism faithfully believe if they can spend a little more of “other people's money”, they can bring forth their godless utopia where man is the ultimate authority. Atheists tend to embrace Liberalism.

Conservatism equals true/real compassion; rooted in common sense and honoring the human spirit. Conservatism celebrates achievement and a desire to be all one can be.

Liberalism is harmful and idiotic, while shrouded in so-called compassion. For example. Teachers at an LA school wanted Ebonics to be acceptable speech for black students. They argued that speaking Ebonics was cultural and learning English was too difficult. Black kids are not too stupid to learn to speak English correctly. Also, an inability to speak English is economically stifling.

And yet, whenever compassionate conservatives suggest learning English be required, they are branded racist by liberals.

You would think a “Liberal” is someone who is easy going, embracing a live-and-let-live attitude. In reality, liberals tend to be HUGE control freaks; arrogantly thinking themselves compassionately and intellectually superior to us common folks. This makes them best qualified to dictate how we should live our lives. Liberalism birthed Political Correctness which seeks to control what we are permitted to think, say and do.

Unquestionably, America was founded on Godly principles. Liberals want all reference to God banned from government and the public square, while demanding we display great tolerance for every other religion. Am I saying liberals tend to be anti-Christian? Yes!

Liberals are notorious for setting rules for the rest of us while exempting themselves. They want the government to demand we drive little more than lawnmowers covered with an auto body to “save the planet”. Meanwhile, they travel in limos and private jets.

In a nutshell, Liberals believe they know best. They use government to constantly invade our lives with new restrictions and controls. Government control hidden in Obamacare is the epitome of Liberalism.

I hope I have educated my family and others a little to the virtues of Conservatism and why it is best for all people.

From Google, we find that the Pledge of Allegiance, originally composed in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, a Baptist minister associated with Libertarian theology and the doctrine of social gospel, was a member of the Christian Socialist Movement. President Obama is associated with Liberation theology. His term for the doctrine is “collective salvation.” 

Libertarian and Liberation theology dates back to evangelists and missionaries from the earliest colonial days in Latin America—churchmen who questioned the Catholic Church’s way of treating the poor. They associated Jesus’ teaching—we are our brother’s keeper—with socialism.  The trouble with this kind of logic is that “we” is not confined to certain people’s collective ideology. “We” is all of us.

President Obama apologizes for America and pushes Marxist class warfare. America’s greatness came from being self-governed. Government control of the economy proves to be a failure. Analysts predict that America is going to run into an economic brick wall in 2012. America could become a socialist dictatorship.

“A non-profit organization that receives taxpayer funding and works closely with the Department of Homeland Security is under fire for promoting unjustified terror and fear among the public about terrorism, claiming that Americans should be suspicious even of their best friends and neighbors.

Known as The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (The CELL), the organization produces propaganda designed to hype the threat of terrorism and persuade citizens that they can join the terror-war, too. It includes, among other ventures, a full-scale museum exhibit entitled “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism” that presents terror as one of the gravest dangers facing humanity today.

“If this sounds like an expensive, museum-size example of America’s paranoia, that’s because it is,” noted a piece from The Economist by Alexander Ewing. “Indeed, the exhibition includes a Rand Corporation expert who notes that the probability of an American being killed in a terror attack is about one in a million, compared to one-in-7,000 or -8,000 chance of being killed in a car accident.”  



In recent years the group has been assailed by critics for controversial videos produced with taxpayer money. In late 2009, “The CELL” released a short DHS-funded film — “Recognizing the Eight Signs of Terrorism” (still shot pictured above) — that portrayed owning firearms, buying gold, paying in cash, and donating to obscure charities as suspicious behavior that should be reported.



”Anyone can become a victim of terrorism, anytime, anywhere,” says the narrator, football star John Elway. “Suspicious surveillance activity may include … drawing diagrams, making notes, using vision enhancing devices [binoculars]” and other seemingly innocuous activities.  

Making large cash transactions, using an alias, keeping weapons in the garage, and making “suspicious” statements should all be considered potential indicators of terrorist intentions and promptly called in, the video explains. “The success of defending our community’s safety depends upon our shared commitment,” Elway says after repeatedly urging viewers to contact authorities.

“The Cell is dedicated to spreading disturbing state propaganda and fear,” noted a blogger at DailyPaul.com, citing some of the more absurd points in the organization’s terror video. “The film displays gold coins next to explosives, implying gold coins are used as tools of terrorism.”



Now the Denver-based “CELL” has a new scheme to spread fear and “awareness” of terrorism — a traveling terror course for citizens and businesses with over two hours of information on terror and how to fight it. But critics are calling the group’s newest plot, known as the Community Awareness Program (CAP), another Orwellian exercise in fear-mongering.

The class is described on the group‘s website as follows: “Developed by The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (The CELL) and the Colorado Information Analysis Center (CIAC), the CAP is an interactive curriculum, taught by Colorado public safety professionals, that provides citizens with the basic tools needed to recognize and help prevent terrorist and criminal activity in their hometowns.”



But while the courses are supposedly designed to “empower” regular citizens to join in the terror war — mostly by spying on fellow Americans and reporting them to authorities — statements made by The CELL leaders are raising concerns. “It’s not going to be the person that you think it’s going to be,” a bureaucrat dealing with transportation security named Diana Woodson, who also teaches the class, told the Denver Post. “He’s your best neighbor, your best pal. It doesn’t always look like the bad guy; it can be someone unassuming.”



The CELL boss Melanie Pearlman refuses to ride the subway and is reluctant to enter tall buildings, yet insists that she is not paranoid. And in an interview with the Post she explained why her organization and its various initiatives are needed: all of the countless government agencies promoting terror fears were failing to spread the hysteria in the same way.

”You had different groups — FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency], UASI [Urban Areas Security Initiative], the CERT — different state and city agencies going out and espousing the same message, but the message was nuanced and inconsistent,” she said. “So we brought all of those folks around the same table to make sure we met all their respective requirements in developing this program.”



Critics were still unimpressed, however. And after the Post article promoting the CAP scheme was published, commentators unleashed a new wave of criticism and ridicule aimed at the ominously named CELL.

“The fact that American citizens are being taught by shadowy non-profit groups tied at the hip with Homeland Security that their best friend or closest neighbor could be a terrorist is another illustration of how the terrorists have won,”noted analyst and author Paul Joseph Watson. “Thanks to the federal government, we live in a society driven by fear and paranoia, with huge amounts of money being wasted on programs like this.”



As The New American and other publications have documented extensively, Homeland Security has become increasingly aggressive in its efforts to paint ordinary Americans — particularly right-of-center citizens and veterans — as a potential terror threat. But its reports and propaganda films, often using preposterous sources including known spoof websites, have generated a great deal of opposition and even calls for Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano’s resignation.



Earlier this year DHS was embroiled in a scandal over a propaganda video it made portraying nearly every “terrorist” as a regular-looking light-skinned American. The film was part of its “See Something, Say Something” campaign encouraging citizens to spy on and report each other to authorities.

Instead of ending the terror-promoting propaganda, however, the Obama administration and Napolitano’s bureaucracy have taken it to a whole new level in recent months. The “See Something, Say Something” snitch program, with films already playing at Wal-Marts nationwide, will now be rolled out in hotels across America.

“Not using a credit card to settle a hotel bill is suspicious behavior,” the propaganda film’s narrator claims after an actor raises eyebrows for asking to pay his tab in cash. The rest of the video is similarly disturbing.



Meanwhile, a congressional report released this month said DHS’s Transportation Security Administration had consumed $60 billion so far — and American air travel is not any safer than it was before September 11, 2001. At the same time, the Obama administration is embroiled in a growing scandal for illegally providing guns to Mexican drug cartels.   



Analysts said that while the federal government’s efforts to instill terror in Americans might appear comical or even ludicrous at first glance, the trend should be taken very seriously. Nearly all brutal dictatorships have waged similar campaigns to encourage irrational suspicion and wanton “snitching” prior to unleashing horrors upon the citizenry.
