BEST KEPT SECRET OF THE CENTURY: Laws our Government Agency Leaders don’t know, or are purposely keeping from the Taxpayers!

Question: can an individual donate to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and/or The Department of Defense and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes?

Can you guess which government agency still refuses to provide a written answer?

Can you guess which government agency provided the correct answer?

Can you guess why any government agency would not want taxpayers to know the Best Kept Secret I have discovered?

Can you guess why none of our government officials or any current presidential candidates are suggesting this idea?

Uncovering this “BEST KEPT SECRET OF THE CENTURY” all started in 2006, with an idea I had to help The Social Security Funds.  I first thought, “Why not donate to Social Security?” Then, I thought, I could start a nonprofit and get people to donate to our mission to help Social Security.  We could use the donations to help people buy or start businesses, create jobs and at the same time contribute to the economy and increase revenue to the Social Security Funds.  In a few years our nonprofit could donate to Social Security Funds when it is scheduled to run out of money.  As a Real Estate Broker and business owner, always looking for another good business to buy, I would follow the progress of small businesses for sale on the Multiple Listing Service. Many times, if the owners could not sell the business, they would end up closing.  I wanted to help employees build their credit power so they could buy the business from their boss, keep it alive and keep all of the employees working.  

This raised the question, “can a nonprofit donate to social security?” Better yet, “can an individual donate to social security and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes?”

To find the answer I called The Social Security Administration Commissioner’s office on February 2, 2006 and was told by the secretary that she had never been asked that questions before. I was put on hold while she tried to find the answer. The secretary returned and told me she could not find anyone that knew the answer. Because no one in the office knew if donations were allowed, or if an individual could write them off on their taxes, she told me to write a letter to the Social Security Administration Commissioner and pose the question. 

It took three months to get an answer, but I received a letter dated 5/3/06 from Annie White, Associate Commissioner of Social Security Administration stating  “You may be interested to know that section 201(i)(1) of the Social Security Act currently provides for tax-deductible gifts to the Social Security trust funds”. I did form a nonprofit organization; Credit Power Educational Foundation, Inc., and part of our mission is to “STRENGTHEN our national economy and Social Security Fund”.

After watching many news reports on how the Department of Defense is the main purpose of the Federal Government and how Medicare and Medicaid were also running out of funds, I decided to ask them the same question I asked the Social Security Administration.

On March 14, 2011, I first called the Medicare and Medicaid office and the female who answered the phone said she had never been asked that question before. She put me on hold and then told me she could not find anyone that knew the answer and they would need to have someone call me back. I did not get a return call.

Next on March 14, 2011, I called the Department of Defense, and just like my call to the Social Security Administration, Medicare and Medicaid, was told by the Public Communication Responder for the Department of Defense that he did not know the answer so he put me on hold while he asked someone else. He returned and said they did not know if donations were allowed or if you could write them off on your taxes, so he put in a written request for an answer.

I did receive an email confirming my question and the following is a portion of the answer:

 “Unfortunately the Department of Defense does not accept monetary donations but we thank you for your interest and support.  We encourage you to visit our Community Relations website which lists a variety of pre-screened charitable organizations focused on supporting the military community.  http://www.ourmilitary.mil/help.shtml”

Because of other business activities I did not get back to my quest for an answer with Medicare and Medicaid until May 19, 2011. I again called trying to get an answer to my questions.  I was told to send a letter.  I called back and asked for the Director of Medicare and Medicaid and was transferred to Danette Greenwood, the personal secretary of Dr. Donald M. Berwick. I asked Danette “Can an individual donate to the Medicare or Medicaid Trust Fund and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes?  Danette was very quick to answer “NO!” 

I asked Danette if I could speak to Dr. Donald M. Berwick and she said “I handle all of his calls”.  I asked if they do not accept donations could Dr. Berwick suggest that Congress, the Senate and President Barack Obama change the law. Danette suggested I contact my congressman to suggest a change in the law. I told Danette that I had already written to many congressmen and Senators and only received a few automated responses.  I suggested that Dr. Berwick has connections it would make more sense for him to bring it to the attention of the IRS, Congress, the Senate and President Barack Obama that we need to change the law so individuals can donate to the Medicare and Medicaid funds and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes.

Danette finally agreed and told me to email my idea in and she would forward it to Dr. Berwick.  I sent an email on May 19, 2011. I did not get an answer, so I called Danette on June 3, 2011 and asked if she forwarded the email to Dr. Berwick. Danette said she forwarded my email to a group of people who would be responding to my email. Danette said she would check to see if any progress had been made in getting me an answer. I asked Danette if she would please put the answer in writing. Danette said she could not put her verbal “no” answer to my “can you donate question” in writing, but she would send me an email confirming that she received my email.  

I called Danette again on June 6, 2011 at 1:14pm

A man answered phone: “OFFICE OF THE ADMINISTRATOR”. He asked what it was concerning and put me on hold, came back and told me Danette had just gone into a meeting and he said he left a message at her desk.

I asked for his name and he refused to give it. He said it was none of my business and he did not want to be involved in the middle when my business is with Danette.

I then asked for Dr. Berwick and the man who refused to give me his name said he would never forward me directly to him, that Danette takes care of his schedule.

I called back on June 7, 2011 at 12:14 p.m.

I was able to speak to Danette; she said they would be getting back to me next Monday on June 13^th.

Danette still would not send me an email with the verbal “no” answer to my “can you donate question”. She said the other group of people will get back to me.

Danette agreed to send me a confirmation with a time line to get an answer to my question. She also agreed to send me an email after she called the other people to push them for an answer and let me know when I might expect an answer.

I called Danette again on June 8, 2011 at 11:55 a.m. I think I spoke to the same man with no name. He said Danette was in a meeting and she already had my message from before. I asked his name and he refused, saying, “I do not give out my name to anyone outside CMS”.

On June 8, 2011 at 1:21 p.m., I called Danette again and spoke to the man with no name. He said “Danette is busy, it is ongoing”. He refused to let me hold for Danette. I asked if Danette was avoiding me. He claimed Danette was not avoiding me and suggested that I email her.  I told him I was a taxpayer and wanted to hold. He said “That is not going to happen”, and hung up on me.

I sent Danette another email and received a response.

I still do not have an answer as of July 12, 2011 from Danette, Dr. Berwick, or the “component”.

On June 30, 2011 Danette finally told me to contact Dianne Heffron, the staffer working on an answer.  It took six days for me to finally connect with Dianne Heffron who is the Director of Financial Management Group of the CMSO

Dianne told me she had not received my email. She was able to find my email while I was on the phone. I refreshed her memory as to the fact Danette Greenwood had forwarded my letter and emails to her. Dianne said she was still working on an answer for me. So far she believed that I could donate to Medicaid on the state level, but not to their department. She suggested I contact Toby Douglass, the Secretary of the California Department of Health. She said they only match the state payments. (Another wrong answer)

Dianne said she was still doing research on the Medicare side. She did not know who would even be able to take the donation. She was sure that her department not able to take any donations.  I asked if she could put her answer in writing. Dianne said since the letter was addressed to the Director, Dr. Donald M. Berwick, she could not answer my letter or questions in writing. Dianne said Dr. Donald M. Berwick would need to down-grade the response to her.  She said that could take two weeks to get the down-grade.

I suggested that I send another letter addressed to her so she could answer it. Dianne said that would work, so I re-sent the letter, and another email, addressed to her on July 6, 2011.

I phoned Dianne Heffron on July 12, 2011, but she did not answer, so I left a message. I still do not have an answer.

I sent a letter to Dr. Berwick on June 15, 2011 informing him of the additional information I had uncovered concerning donating to the Medicare and Medicaid Trust.  A copy of the letter is available at www.creditwhisperer.com/solution.htm

Most people are unaware of this option, including Ms Greenwood.

I continued my research after I was told by Danette Greenwood that an individual cannot donate to the Medicare or Medicaid Trust Fund and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes. 

It seems that contrary to the information I was given by Danette, an individual actually can donate to Medicare and Medicaid and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes.

I contacted the IRS and spoke to Jacob, i.d. #1054973526.

Jacob put me on hold while he searched for the answer to my question, which was:

“Can an individual donate to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and/or The Department of Defense and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on their taxes?”

Jacob told me to look in Pub 78 to find organizations that are currently tax exempt. He said Pub 78 lists most organizations but does not include all organizations and it does not list Federal, State and Local government organizations as they are not required to file for tax exempt status.

I asked Jacob for more details of how donations to a government agency can be written off on your taxes.  Jacob had to put me on hold again to search for additional information.  Jacob instructed me to search for Pub 526 on their website and to look at Table 1, page 2. Table 1 defines “Deductible as Charitable Contributions” for “Federal, state, and local governments, if your contribution is solely for public purposes (for example, a gift to reduce the public debt)”.

I asked for additional information to clarify the terminology “public purpose”.

Jacob was unable to answer my question and transferred me to the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division of the IRS. I spoke to Miss Lee, i.d. # 1001181273.

Miss Lee was also unable to answer my question and needed to put me on hold to find the answer: She did not find anything to further clarify the terminology “public purpose”.

Miss Lee said, Federal, State and Local government organizations are not required to apply for formal recognition. She also said any government organization could request an Affirmation Letter to show that donors could donate to their organization and write it off on the donor’s taxes. 

Miss Lee also suggested that I look at Pub 557, page 30, which defines what a “government unit” includes.

I asked Miss Lee if I could get an Affirmation Letter to prove I could donate to a government organization.  She said if I could give her an address, she would search to verify if the government organization was in their system. If she found them in the system she could then send me an Affirmation Letter.

Because I had already spent 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to this point with the IRS, I asked if she could hold while I gathered the addresses for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the Department of Defense.

As I found each address, Miss Lee was able to first confirm the Social Security

Administration, then Medicare and Medicaid, but was not able to confirm the Department of Defense.

Miss Lee said she would send me separate Affirmation Letters for the Social Security Administration, Medicare and Medicaid, that confirms that I can make a charitable donation. I have received the two Affirmation Letters and a copy is available at www.creditwhisperer.com/solution.htm

I asked if I could speak to a supervisor as Miss Lee could not explain why she could not find the Department of Defense in their system. 

Two days later a supervisor, Mr. Cordell, i.d. # 1000196899, returned my call. Mr. Cordell said, “The Taxability of Donations account for the Department of Defense was not active”.  He said if I could contact someone at the Department of Defense and ask them to call (877) 829-5500 they would be able to verify and reactivate their account by phone.

Mr. Cordell said because government organizations are not required to file a 990, their account can go inactive. Once the Department of Defense calls the IRS, they will be able to verify the account and have it placed back into an active status.  After that, I will be able to request an Affirmation Letter for the Department of Defense.

You would think if the head of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and the Department of Defense and any other governmental unit could raise extra money via a tax deductable donation they would be talking about it and encouraging as many people as possible. Isn’t this solution better than relying on taxes being raised.

It does raise the question, how to control the spending? We need to get control of the spending and we need reform.  If our government officials were more responsible in how they spend our tax dollars, then the public might be more willing to donate.

It is understood that we need to reform Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and the Department of Defense. We need to eliminate the fraud and keep our officials from using the funds for unauthorized purposes. The wealthy would be more willing to donate if they had more confidence that the government would protect the funds, and if a firm plan was in place for reforming the systems. The reform is needed no matter if we voluntarily donate or the money is taken from us as a tax.

I have been told by The Social Security Administration, The Medicare Office and The Department of Defense that no one has ever asked if an individual can donate to their organizations and write it off as a tax-deductible charitable gift on the donor’s taxes.   

Once I discovered government employees didn’t have a clue, to prove my point this is the “BEST KEPT SECRET OF THE CENTURY”, I decided to call a few CPA’s in several states and posed the same question. Surely, they will know.  I found that most CPA’s did not have a clue. The CPA’s also did not have any clients that had ever donated to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or the Department of Defense or had ever asked if they could. The nicest and most knowledgeable CPA I spoke to was George Williams in Allen, Texas. Thank you George, for your kind words and interest in my quest.

So why do we have laws to allow us to make a charitable donation, yet our government officials, employees and CPA’s don’t know about it?

Why has no one educated the public about this solution to help the entire country?

I feel our country is more important than any embarrassment any government official may fear. Our government officials need to start making the public aware.

Recap as to knowledge of the tax law:

The Social Security Administration has been aware that an individual can donate and write it off as a tax deductible contribution since May 3, 2006 and has not notified the public.

Danette Greenwood gave me an incorrect verbal answer. Danette is the personal secretary to Dr. Donald M. Berwick, the director of Medicare and Medicaid and is still unaware of the law unless Dr. Berwick has read my letter dated June 15, 2011. Dianne Heffron the Director of Financial Management Group of the CMSO

is working on a written answer, but the verbal answer I have received from her is incorrect. I finally received an email response from Danette Greenwood on July 26, 2011 citing IRS Publication 526 after I pointed out this publication in my letter to Dr. Berwick on June 15, 2011.

I sent a letter to Dr. Berwick on July 27, 2011 asking the following:

Now that Peter M. Kelchner, CPA, at CMS, has researched Publication 526 and recognized that the Federal government is considered as a qualified organization for charitable purposes, I again ask the following questions:

1. Will you please set up a donation page on the website for both Medicare and Medicaid?
2. Can you bring this matter to the attention of the public, and the employees of the Department of Health and Human Services? You can even go further and ask the public to voluntarily donate to Medicare and Medicaid instead of relying on their taxes being raised.
3. Can you start an ongoing educational campaign to bring Publication 526 and Section 170(c)(1) to the forefront, so people will realize there is the possibility to donate to Medicare and Medicaid?

On August 20, 2011, I received a letter dated August 15, 2011, from Joseph Dion, Lead Ethics Administrator with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Obviously he did not understand the questions I posed to Dr. Berwick in my letter dated July 27, 2011.

As of August 22, 2011, I have not received an answer from Dr. Berwick to my letter dated July 27, 2011.

Department of Defense sent me a response which was incorrect and may still be unaware unless they read my email dated June 13, 2011. The DOD still needs to contact the IRS at (877) 829-5500 to reactivate their account. I have made multiple calls to the Department of Defense. Commander Kathleen Kessler told me to send a letter to the Secretary of Defense. She told me no one has the authority to connect me to someone that can call the IRS to reactivate their account.  I sent a letter on 7/8/11 to Leon Panetta, the Secretary of Defense. As of August 17, 2011, I have not received an answer from Leon Panetta to my letter dated July 8, 2011. I phoned the IRS to ask for an Affirmation Letter on August 16, 2011 and spoke with Miss Lee, i.d. # 1001181273 again.  Miss Lee told me the Department of Defense is still not showing as an active government unit. Miss Lee submitted a referral asking for a letter referencing the Department of Defense as a government unit as tax deductable. She said it may take 30 days to get a response.

I HAD ALSO RECAPPED MY BLOGS "TAX POLICY WHICH FAVOR THE RICH ETC", "CORPORATE TAX LOOPHOLES", AND "WHO DESERVES TAX CREDITS".  CONGRESSMAN GIBSON FEELS MY SUGGESTIONS "ARE WORTHY OF ALL DUE CONSIDERATION IN THE 112 CONGRESS".  HE WILL BE SETTING UP 3 MEETINGS WITH ME TO DISCUSS THESE ISSUES. Ask yourself if Americans are better off today than ten years ago.

Since mid 1980’s, Americans have silently accepted the government policies which exchanged US manufacturing jobs for lower priced consumer products. It is an understatement to say, we all thought we got something for very little cost.  But how wrong we were to go along with the governement's line of thinking that these exported jobs were undesirable positions that most Americans considered to be too low skilled.  Also, we shared their vision of the future employment for America.  Job seekers were instructed to focus on networking and software industries.  In addition, they were also led to believe that a vibrant service market would employ a large number of people.  We have lost a decade of our earnings, our savings and our precious time.  If you believed that Americans are richer now than ever before, consider these issues:

1) When we had a strong manufacturing base, US employment ran near to full employment i.e. 96% were employed,  Now, we are dreading multiple years of unemployment across the many states between 18% to 22%.  

2) According the third party government agencies, under a strong economy that is to say when times were good,  US poverty rates decreased to almost 10%.  Now, almost 15% of the US population or 44 MILLION Americans live in poverty.

3) We have experience two major market bubbles, namely the 2001 Technology/Internet Bubble & 2008 Mortgage Backed Securities, both were directly caused by failed government monetary policies.  For the past ten years, the retired citizens including the Baby Boomers generation are quickly realizing that their financial planners were wrong about the projected returns of 6-8% return for conservative investment strategies.  Worst yet, retired folks expected to make fixed income on CD yields but for the past three years these investments are a far cry from what people had expected for their safe money. 

4) Federal shot term deficits should be an important matter. The accelerating debt spending is a desperate attempt to cover the liabilities which have resulted from a reckless government that has continued to spend beyond our means. Social security surpluses were borrowed (raided) and never invested to cover future commitments. Other harmful government policies dealing with deregulation of the banking industry have allowed for irrational speculation and unrestrained liquidity to be pumped into the stock and bond markets.  Americans are realizing their 401K’s were knocked down twice in ten years and more aptly called 201K’s.  

5) One of the largest budget breaking line items is our US Defense.  It appears that many Americans are unfazed that our government continues to spend over $800 BILLION per year (and constantly growing) on an unending series of military conflicts.  Most Americans are so distracted by media and government officials that no one seems to hold "candidate" Obama accountable for his promise to end US involvement in  Middle East wars.

To an outside observer, it must be confusing to see most Americans more passionate about their local sports teams than they are about our failed foreign policies that have resulted in thousands of our brothers and sisters either being killed and maimed in these undeclared wars, and spiraling financial costs that keep pumping up the debt ceiling.  Consider this. Our foreign policy currently has American military involved in four different fronts; Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Libya.  We should return to our founding father’s foreign policies of non interventionism.   

To summary, we are at the tipping point.  Most Americans seem to be sleep walking and do not realize what it means to our financial future if we allow our government to continue printing money to cover banking speculation.  Our debt ceiling is growing exponentially.  Prior to 5 years ago, we were conditioned to accept annual debt ceiling increases of 30Bn to 100Bn. The water is getting warmer for us frogs. What is happening now is pure madness. We just increased the debt ceiling over the past two years by over $3 trillion dollars. If unchecked, it is simply unsustainable and will lead to hyperinflation.

I hope it is not too late. The cancerous financial problems have more to do with past govt. mistakes such as deregulating the banking industry through the repeal of Glass-Steagall and (not-so-fair) trade agreements that expedited the off shoring of US manufacturing capability & jobs over to Asian countries. To have a redistribution of wealth, it will need to start by reversing these failed govt. policies. Only then we will begin to see a transfer of foreign based factories back into US. 

Tea Party Express V national bus tour begins this Saturday in Napa, CA. As I pack my bags and organize my performance music in preparation to embark on my fifth national Tea Party Express tour, I am a bit frustrated by those still clueless about the Tea Party movement; who we are and our propose.

Please excuse my frankness. Despite all the Tea Party has done to pull our country back from diving over the cliff to it's death into liberal socialistic hell, incredibly, there are still “Republicans” who think we are “fringe loonies”. If God had not sent the Tea Party, America as we know it would be over!

Then, we have the racist Congressional Black Caucus. Rather than abandoning their racial bias to make an honest assessment of President Obama's job performance and his failed economic policies, they blame epidemic high black unemployment on the Tea Party. Their accusation is so despicable and absurd, it is unworthy of a response.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL), a member of the Congressional Black Caucus said, “Let us all remember who the real enemy is,” she added. “The real enemy is the Tea Party. The Tea Party holds the Congress hostage. They have one goal in mind, and that’s to make President Obama a one-term president.”

Another member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), said, “The tea party can go to hell.”

Rep. Wilson, you did get one point 100% correct. It is and should be the goal of every patriot who loves, freedom, liberty and America to “make President Obama a one-term president.” I pray, “Dear Lord, pleeeeease make it so.”

Another member of the tag team assaulting and slandering the tea party is the liberal media. I have attended over 200 tea parties nationwide including Alaska. On numerous occasions the media has asked, basically, “Why are you, a black man, hanging with these racist white folks?”

My response is always the same, “These folks are not opposing Obama's skin color. Several even voted for him. They are simply saying no to his socialistic agenda.”

Unfortunately, I have witnessed liberal media completely ignoring the mood and tone of a tea party rally to fit their preconceived report of the event.

Case in point. On a beautiful sunny day at a tea party rally in Michigan, I sang “God Bless the USA” for the finale of my performance. The response of the thousand or more in the audience was tremendous; a celebration of love for America. Afterwards, I could hardly make my way through the crowd because of so many patriots wanting to shake my hand and take pictures.

Also, at that rally was a white woman in a wheelchair who was terminally ill. Her daughter told one of our staff, “My mom said all she wanted to do before dying is to meet Lloyd Marcus.”

Wow, I can not begin to tell you how much that humbles me.

Amidst the overwhelmingly loving, happy and upbeat atmosphere, a stoned faced reporter approached me. She asked me if I felt comfortable at this racist hate-filled tea party. I wanted to say, “Are you nuts?” Despite holding my tongue and trying to politely convince the stern reporter otherwise, she became visibly angry at me, abruptly turned and walked away.

Brother and sister patriots, I am so looking forward to seeing and fellowshipping with you; hanging with my true “homies”; folks who share my love for America.

National debt has Increased $4 Trillion Under Obama

The latest posting by the Treasury Department shows the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Obama's watch.

The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.

It's the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.

The national debt increased $4.9 trillion during the eight-year presidency of George W. Bush. The debt now is rising at a pace to surpass that amount during Mr. Obama's four-year term.

Mr. Obama blames policies inherited from his predecessor's administration for the soaring debt. He singles out:

• "two wars we didn't pay for"
• "a prescription drug program for seniors...we didn't pay for."
• "tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 that were not paid for."

He goes on to blame the recession, and its resulting decrease in tax revenue on businesses, for making fewer sales, and more employees being laid off. He says the recession also resulted in more government spending due to increased unemployment insurance payments, subsidies to farms and funding of infrastructure programs that were part of his stimulus program.

At the first town hall meeting of his Midwestern bus trip last week, Mr. Obama told an audience in Minnesota that "the debt problem is real and the deficit problem is real."

Flashback: Obama Calls Adding $4 Trillion to National Debt “Unpatri...

Yesterday, I wrote about the CBS News story showing that Barack Obama had added over $4 trillion to the national debt in less than three years, which puts the current President on track in one term (and probably less) to beat the record that took his predecessor two terms to set. Some called this an unfair attack, noting that Congress authorizes spending, a point I addressed yesterday and which does Democrats no good at all. But guess who else blamed rising national debt on a President? Why, it’s Candidate (and then-Senator) Obama,. who not only blamed George Bush for adding more national debt than his previous 42 predecessors combined, but also questioned Bush’s patriotism for the same policies that Obama accelerated as President himself:

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.

“Credit card from the Bank of China”? That was a favorite phrase of Obama’s during the campaign. A quick search shows that he used it in an April 2008 debate, this June 2008 appearance, and others as well, usually tying it to tax cuts.

And what exactly has Obama done as President? Despite claiming that he has known that deficit reduction has been needed since the first day he took office, Obama has offered no deficit reduction proposals in his term as President. In fact, he has submitted budget proposals that have massively expanded deficit spending.

Just how patriotic is that? After all, if Obama can use the increase in the national debt to question Bush’s patriotism, doesn’t it follow that increasing deficit spending by 152% per month makes Obama 152% more “unpatriotic” than Bush?

WITH ALL THE HYPERBOLE THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY ABOUT WHO IS PATRIOTIC AND WHO ARE THE TRAITERS, I DECIDED TO CONDUCT A PRIVATE CITIZENS POLL ON WHO PROUDLY DISPLAYS THE AMERICAN FLAG.

I CHOSE THE MONTHS OF MAY, JUNE AND JULY AS THESE MONTHS CONTAIN 3 DAYS WHEN DISPLAYING THE FLAG IS MOST COMMON-MEMORIAL DAY, FLAG DAY AND JULY 4 TH.

SEVERAL TIMES DURING THIS 3 MONTH PERIOD, I DROVE AROUND THE TOWNS, VILLAGES, CITIES AND RURAL AREAS STOPPING WHENEVER I SIGHTED A FLAG WAVING,  I THEN ASKED THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS- ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE, HOW ARE YOU REGISTERED AND HOW OFTEN DO YOU VOTE.  I TOOK NOTICE OF EACH HOME I STOPPED AT TO MAKE SURE I DID NOT MAKE A REPEAT STOP AT ANY ONE HOME.   

I MADE 284 STOPS AND TALLIED UP THE RESULTS AS FOLLOWS

WHEN I DISCUSSED VOTING WITH THE UNREGISTERED PEOPLE, THEY ALL TOLD ME THAT THEY GOT SO FED UP WITH POLITICS THAT THEY REFUSED TO VOTE.  I DISCUSSED VOTING WITH THEM BECAUSE I SYMPATHIZED WITH THEM INASMUCH AS I ONCE WENT FOR 3 YEARS REFUSING TO VOTE FOR THE SAME REASONS.

I TOLD THEM THAT MANY TIMES I LIKED CERTAIN ONES WHO WERE SEEKING OFFICE AND WISHED I COULD HAVE VOTED FOR THEM SO AFTER 3 YEARS I REGISTERED TO VOTE AS AN INDEPENDENT AND THEN I COULD VOTE FOR ANY PERSON I LIKED, EVEN IF IT WAS ONLY ONE CANDIDATE ON THE BALLOT THAT I VOTED FOR.  32 OF THOSE UNREGISTERED CITIZENS TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE. SO THEY COULD SUPPORT, WITH THEIR VOTE ANY CANDIDATE THAT THEY BELIEVED IN.

THIS WAS NOT A SCIENTIFIC POLL, JUST A CONCERNED CITIZEN TALAKING WITH OTHER CONCERNED CITIZENS AND FINDING OUT THAT THE UNREGISTERED CITIZENS WERE VERY MUCH CONCERNED WITH THE DIRECTION THE COUNTRY WAS HEADED.  THE MORE I THINK ABOUT WHAT I DID HAD POSITIVE RESULTS AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT OTHERS GET OUT AND TAKE A POLL OF THERE NEIGHBORS.  I DID NOT DISCUSS OR RECOMMEND ANY CANIDITATE BUT ENCOURAGED EVERY PERSON I TALKED WITH TO BE A FREE THINKER IN MAKING UP THEIR MIND IF THEY WOULD VOTE AND FOR WHOM. 

Next Up on the Gay Agenda: Legalizing Sex with Children

Yes you read correctly.  Sex with children.  Pedophilia.  Hebephilia.  Now that the gay lobby has had such resounding success getting gay marriage passed in some states, and queering the U.S. military, the new “frontier” is legally having access to your children.   If you are not worried about this, you are not paying attention.

Gays will never be able to change the law to allow sex with children?  Wake up!  They are doing it already…. confusing  your kids sexual identities and desensitizing them to homosexual  sex techniques  in the public schools. 

The next phase is the American Psychiatric Association followed by ….the law/Constitution.

There is now a cadre of gay/child predator/perverts  [my terms for them, obviously not theirs]  “mental health” professionals who are working “through channels” to get the American Psychiatric Association to say that having sex with children is “normal.”  If they are successful in getting the APA manual changed, that sets the stage to begin changing the law.

One of the biggest child stars of the 1980s, Corey Feldman, is throwing some sunshine on a very shadowy problem that is unpopular and very non-politically-correct to discuss:

“I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. … It’s the big secret,” Feldman said.

“I was surrounded by [pedophiles] when I was 14 years old. … Didn’t even know it. It wasn’t until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted … till I went, Oh, my God. They were everywhere,” Feldman, now 40, said.”

Openly-gay director Joel Schumacher hired Haim and Feldman when they were teenagers to star in "Lost Boys."

Here are reports and commentary from a recent conference in Baltimore to legalize pedophilia.

Daily Caller:

“If a small group of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals have their way at a conference this week, pedophiles themselves could play a role in removing pedophilia from the American Psychiatric Association’s bible of mental illnesses — the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), set to undergo a significant revision by 2013. Critics warn that their success could lead to the decriminalization of pedophilia.

The August 17 Baltimore conference is sponsored by B4U-ACT, a group of pro-pedophile mental health professionals and sympathetic activists. According to the conference brochure, the event will examine “ways in which minor-attracted persons [pedophiles] can be involved in the DSM 5 revision process” and how the popular perceptions of pedophiles can be reframed to encourage tolerance.

Researchers from Harvard University, the Johns Hopkins University, the University of Louisville, and the University of Illinois will be among the panelists at the conference.

B4U-ACT has been active attacking the APA’s definition of pedophilia in the run up to the conference, denouncing its description of “minor-attracted persons” as “inaccurate” and “misleading” because the current DSM links pedophilia with criminality.

“It is based on data from prison studies, which completely ignore the existence of those who are law-abiding,” said Howard Kline, science director of B4U-ACT, in a July 25, 2011 press release. “The proposed new diagnostic criteria specify ages and frequencies with no scientific basis whatsoever.”

The press release announced a letter the group sent to the APA criticizing its approach, and inviting its leaders to participate in the August 17 conference. “The DSM should meet a higher standard than that,” Kline continued. “We can help them, because we are the people they are writing about.”

Liberty Counsel Action‘s Matt Barber attended the conference and says he felt he was on a different planet, as the presenting professionals aimed to remove pedophilia from the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). That would mean that pedophilia would no longer be considered a mental disorder.

“The entire focus of the event was on the victimhood of the pedophile,” Barber accounts. There was “very little concern for the children who are the victims of these individuals when they are raped, who these individuals lust after,” he adds.

And he says the experts’ discussions were focused on “destigmatizing pedophilia … removing the stigma, and [getting] the public to stop demonizing pedophiles.”

But the attorney reports that the APA is already moving toward declassifying pedophilia as a mental disorder “by saying that a pedophile is only a pedophile in their latest DSM … if they are distressed by their attractions or behaviors.” 

“Hebephilia”  experts are trying to justify sex with teenagers [as opposed to pedophiles having sex with pre-pubescent kids] …..as if somehow that is more acceptable.

Hebephiles argue how Michael Jackson really wasn’t a “pedophile,” technically speaking, or even wrong to have relations with teenagers.

‘Time to Normalize Pedophilia’: Firsthand Report on B4U-ACT Conference  

Lynchburg, VA –“ On Wednesday, August 17, child advocates Matt Barber, Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action, and Dr. Judith Reisman, a visiting law professor at Liberty University School of Law, attended a Baltimore, MD conference hosted by the pedophile group B4U-ACT. Around 50 individuals were in attendance including a number of admitted pedophiles – or “Minor-Attracted Persons” as they prefer to be identified (MAP “sexual orientation”) – as well as several supportive mental health professionals. World renowned “sexologist,” Dr. Fred Berlin of Johns Hopkins University gave the keynote address, saying: “I want to completely support the goal of B4U-ACT.”

Highlights of the conference:

• Pedophiles are “unfairly stigmatized and demonized” by society.
• There was concern about “vice-laden diagnostic criteria” and “cultural baggage of wrongfulness.”
• “We are not required to interfere with or inhibit our child’s sexuality.”
• “Children are not inherently unable to consent” to sex with an adult.
• “In Western culture sex is taken too seriously.”
• “Anglo-American standard on age of consent is new [and ‘Puritanical’]. In Europe it was always set at 10 or 12. Ages of consent beyond that are relatively new and very strange, especially for boys. They’ve always been able to have sex at any age.”
• An adult’s desire to have sex with children is “normative.”
• Our society should “maximize individual liberty. … We have a highly moralistic society that is not consistent with liberty.”
• “Assuming children are unable to consent lends itself to criminalization and stigmatization.”
• “These things are not black and white; there are various shades of gray.”
• A consensus belief by both speakers and pedophiles in attendance was that, because it vilifies MAPs, pedophilia should be removed as a mental disorder from the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), in the same manner homosexuality was removed in 1973.
• Dr. Fred Berlin acknowledged that it was political activism, similar to that witnessed at the conference, rather than scientific considerations that successfully led to the declassification of homosexuality as a mental disorder: The reason “homosexuality was taken out of DSM is that people didn’t want the government in the bedroom,” he said.
• Dr. Berlin appeared to endorse the politically maligned clinical practice of “reparative therapy” for homosexuals and pedophiles alike, saying, “If someone, for their own reasons, doesn’t want to live a homosexual lifestyle, I tell them that it’s hard but I’ll try to help them.”
• The DSM ignores that pedophiles “have feelings of love and romance for children” in the same way adult heterosexuals and homosexuals have romantic feelings for one another.
• “The majority of pedophiles are gentle and rational.”
• The DSM should “focus on the needs” of the pedophile, and should have “a minimal focus on social control,” rather than obsessing about the “need to protect children.”
• Self-descried “gay activist” and speaker Jacob Breslow said that children can properly be “the object of our attraction.” He further objectified children, suggesting that pedophiles needn’t gain consent from a child to have sex with “it” any more than we need consent from a shoe to wear it. He then used graphic, slang language to favorably describe the act of climaxing (ejaculating) “on or with” a child. No one in attendance objected to this explicit depiction of child sexual assault.

Another group to watch is Reform Sex Offender Laws [RSOL]

Daniel Villareal at the gay website, “Queerty,” shows how the gay movement is no longer pretending that it doesn’t want to recruit kids:  “Can We Please Just Start Admitting That We Do Actually Want To Indoctrinate Kids?”

“Why would we push anti-bullying programs or social studies classes that teach kids about the historical contributions of famous queers unless we wanted to deliberately educate children to accept queer sexuality as normal?

I for one certainly want tons of school children to learn that it’s OK to be gay, that people of the same sex should be allowed to legally marry each other, and that anyone can kiss a person of the same sex without feeling like a freak. And I would very much like for many of these young boys to grow up and start fucking men. I want lots of young ladies to develop into young women who voraciously munch box. I want this just as badly as many parents want their own kids to grow up and rub urinary tracts together to trade proteins and forcefully excrete a baby.

I and a lot of other people want to indoctrinate, recruit, teach, and expose children to queer sexuality AND THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.”

 

In California, a petition drive is underway to repeal a new state law which mandates “positive” gay role models in the curriculum.  It is not clear what exactly will be required of textbooks and content.

Meanwhile, California Teachers’ Association appoints another openly gay member, San Francisco teacher Eric Heins, to the union board, ostensibly to ensure the delivery of the “gay agenda” to public classrooms:

“Heins, a longtime homosexual teacher, announced that he always kept pro-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) books in his classroom library and spoke to his students about alternate lifestyles. Now, he reportedly plans to use his position in the union to fight for the LGBT community.

Steve Macias is the West Coast regional coordinator of Students for Life of America and a member of the California Republican Assembly.

“They want to use schoolteachers’ paychecks to pay for politicians who will do nothing but continue to push these seemingly alternative lifestyles that are really damaging to not only the mental health, but the physical health and the spiritual health of our children.”

He goes on to warn that the CTA will continue to push for pro-homosexual indoctrination in California’s schools. “What we can really expect from them is these tolerance laws, these ideas that make Christian speech against homosexuality, against abortion, intolerable,” Macias adds.
He points out that the CTA donated $1.25 million to stop Proposition 8, the 2008 measure passed by a majority of the state’s voters to define marriage as between one man and one woman. The union also supports S.B. 48, a bill that was recently signed into law that requires the state’s schools to teach on the contributions of LGBT individuals.”

Why did Bernie Madoff go to prison?

To make it simple, he talked people into investing with him. Trouble was, he didn't invest their money. As time rolled on he simply took the money from the new investors to pay off the old investors. Finally there were too many old investors and not enough money from new investors coming in to keep the payments going.

Next thing you know Madoff is one of the most hated men in America and he is off to jail.

Some of you know this. But not enough of you. Madoff did to his investors what the government has been doing to us for over 70 years with Social Security. There is no meaningful difference between the two schemes, except that one was operated by a private individual who is now in jail, and the other is operated by politicians who enjoy perks, privileges and status in spite of their actions.

Takes money from investors with the promise that the money will be invested and made available to them later. Takes money from wage earners with the promise that the money will be invested in a "Trust Fund" (Lock Box) and made available later.

Instead of investing the money Madoff spends it on nice homes in the Hamptons and yachts. Instead of depositing money in a Trust Fund the politicians transfer it to the General Revenue Fund and use it for general spending and vote buying.

When the time comes to pay the investors back Madoff simply uses some of the new funds from newer investors to pay back the older investors. When benefits for older investors become due the politicians pay them with money taken from younger and newer wage earners to pay the older geezers.

When Madoff's scheme is discovered all hell breaks loose. New investors won't give him any more cash. When Social Security runs out of money the politicians try to force the taxpayers to send them some more; or they cancel S/S to all those who paid into it.

Bernie Madoff is in jail. Politicians remain in Washington .. with fat medical and retirement benefits.

David Kaiser is a  respected historian whose published works have covered a broad range of  topics, from European Warfare to American League Baseball. Born in 1947,  the son of a diplomat, Kaiser spent his childhood in three capital cities:  Washington D.C. , Albany , New York , and Dakar, Senegal . He attended Harvard University ,  graduating there in 1969 with a B.A. In history. He then spent several  years more at Harvard, gaining a PhD in history, which he obtained in  1976.. He served in the Army Reserve from 1970 to  1976.

He is a prof essor  in the Strategy and Policy Department of the United States Naval War  College . He has previously taught at Carnegie Mellon, Williams College  and Harvard University . Kaiser's latest book, The Road to  Dallas, about the Kennedy assassination, was just published by Harvard  University Press.

History  Unfolding

I am a student of  history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been  published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have  come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not  believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit  crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large  gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper  focus..


Something of  historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it  feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a  perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our  country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace  has dramatically quickened in the past two.


We demand and  then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to  people we know they can never pay back? Why?


We learned just  days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight  by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000)  over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose  the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is  three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this  past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms  unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was  a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected  leaders. Apparently not.


We have spent two  or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy...  Why?


We have  intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer  teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth  preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or  articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing,  school boards continue to back mediocrity.  Why?


We have now  established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in  California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply  wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you  ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our  sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that  radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like  ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic.  To what purpose?


Now our mortgage  industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries  are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse,  social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our  entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach  college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is  staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is  potentially 1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even  name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn,  cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the  opportunity to do so.


And finally, we  have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never  run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as  Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and  alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and  everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not  downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create  and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for  use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that  for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant  daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)


Mr. Obama's  winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change.  Why?


I have never been  so afraid for my country and for my children as I am  now.


This man  campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done  in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along  philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces  into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And  when it comes, you will never see the same nation  again.


And that is only  the beginning..


As a serious  student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the  ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s In  those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from  the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they  should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted,  shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his  way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative "losers"  read it right now.


And there were  the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he  was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And  people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown  shirts" would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did -  regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a  full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression.  Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by  person, department by department, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children  of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in  his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were  required to do so. No Jews of course,


How did he get  people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to  the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it  by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for  all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once  again in the country, across Europe , and across  the world. He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he  did this all in the name of justice and .... . ...  change. And the people surely got what they voted  for.


If you think I am  exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history  books.


So read your  history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted  down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill  pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of  Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his  seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world  came to regret that he was not listened to.


Do not forget  that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in  Europe . It was full of music, art, museums,  hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years  (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was  rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning  children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors..  All with the best of intentions, of course.. The road to Hell  is paved with them.


As a practical  thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I  can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if  they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting  to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by  closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring  around me..


I choose to  believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me,  others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree,  perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and  tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe  it.


I pray I am  wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next  elections.
