Tea Party Core Values: Let's Keep It Simple

This is what motivated me to participate in the Tea Party Movement and what I think most of us share in core values: Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and a Free Market.

Though I believe many of these Core Values listed by TeaParty.org are admirable, they are not what motivated me or most others to become active in the Tea Party. Also, I think TeaParty.org is way off base in their definition of the Tea Party. If the main objective of the Tea Party was "security, sovereignty, and domestic tranquility" as TeaParty.org states, then what differentiates us from any nation, democracies and dictatorships alike? Doesn't every nation want security, sovereignty and domestic tranquility? For that matter, if that is all our patriots wanted, why should we have ever broken away from Britain? Didn't Britain want security, sovereignty and domestic tranquility? No, what TeaParty.org defines as the "Tea Party" movement and its "core values" is not correct. The only thing you can say for certain that motivated so many people to participate and what they have in common is: Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and a Free Market. Now that is pretty much what motivated the original Tea Party Patriots to break off from Britain and found our own nation. The British government was becoming overpowering (in need of being constrained and limited by a constitution), was interfering with our Free Market (Stamp Act, restricting trade, etc.), and much of this all started with Britain's own overspending and attempting to bail themselves out by overtaxing the colonies (Fiscal Responsibility). That is what motivated the Tea Party then and what motivates the Tea Party today.

Barakbanking Plans Reincarnation of 51 New ACORN Clones
and Take Over of 9% More of the Nation’s Economy

Just when you thought you were safe from ACORN attack, Barak Obama has decided his Marxist agenda needs advancing and another segment of the U.S. economy must be “transformed,” ‘er, we mean swallowed up and taken over and oh while the great man is working . . . let’s start refunding all those new ACORN clones with unending government grants. The scenario is virtually the same as that which unfolded during the Obamacare fiasco . . . with one important difference the Republicans own one more vote in the senate: the seat won by Scott Brown in Massachusetts against all odds. The house of representatives has already passed Barak’s CFPB bill (that’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau a.k.a. "Barakbanking").

This time the Barakbanking bill is only 1,336 pages long and plots, while taking over almost 10% more of the the economy by the government, to re-establish funding and re-invigorate the 51 ex-ACORN branches that have all changed their names to protect the guilty. By funnelling huge financial grants to radical activist groups like the notorious ex-ACORNs, the bill amounts to a theft of hundreds of billions of our dollars to help Barak consolidate and perpetuate his power over the nations’ citizens. ACORN, you’ll remember was where Obama worked as an attorney forcing banks and lending institutions to make knowingly horrendous loans that created our sub-prime lending crisis. What’s good for ACORN and Obama is bad for the country and this bill is definitely NO EXCEPTION!

The new immense federal bureaucracy or CFPB will be thrown an enormous budget and will have virtually no limits to its power over ALL our financial dealings and organizations. It will be housed with the Federal Reserve but the FED will have zero power, not one iota of authority over its operations. The CFPB will have no authority but itself to be accountable to as it wields its immense power. The icing on the cake, of course, for Obama is the “Office of Fair Lending and Equal Opportunity (OFLEO) which will be dedicated to working with community groups including all 51 of the ACORN clones most of have forgotten about and other radical organizations advancing their extreme agendas across every community in America by creating an unaccountable slush fund to finance their operations open and covert. These are the same community groups that lobbied for the CRA ’77 under Jimmy Carter (Community Reinvestment Act); then the addition in 1992 of Fannie and Freddy in ’92 forcing the government’s own lenders to be part of the atrocity when the Democrats again owned both houses; and finally the ’98 expansion of the CRA (under Clinton but helped out by about five Republican progressives as well) which put the whole sub-prime disaster on steroids. Americans, not knowing or understanding recent economic history are poised to repeat it . . . .

Most Americans, it seems are just too busy playing with electronic gadgets and watching sitcoms to pay attention to what the progressive element of the Democratic and Republican Parties have bequeathed us. Virtually none know who Saul Alinsky is, or have read his “Rules for Radicals.” Even fewer have ever heard of Richard Cloward and Frances Piven and know about their taking Alinsky’s ideas to their logical extreme. The two radical Columbia University political science professors published their Cloward-Piven Strategy in 1966. The C-P Strategy obstensibly was designed to “force the Democrats to create a national guaranteed income” but the real purpose as acknowledged by its creators was to create a crisis that would virtually overnight, they felt, move the country into socialism. Fewer yet know that the radical National Welfare Rights Organization was created by Cloward, Piven and Black-militant George Wiley to implement C-P Strategy on the Big Apple.

The trio’s plan worked like a charm as they tripled the number of New York City welfare recipients and doubled the number of New York state recipients (by browbeating and “street-drama” within welfare offices) within four years. The city was forced into bankruptcy by 1975 and the state of New York itself was on the verge of bankruptcy. That process took them roughly seven and one-half years but did NOT bring about the momentous shift to total socialism they’d wanted. Nevertheless the trio bragged in print about their “great deed.” ACORN used the three poorly-conceived mortgage-guarantee laws to expand its power and warchest and to virtually bankrupt the company and the nation is still right today pretty much oblivious to those facts or that one of ACORN’s best shake-down artists, attorney Barak Obama arose into power virtually overnight on the wings of the ACORN-caused financial debacle. Today, ACORN has gone underground after federal defunding and widespread problems with voter-registration fraud . . . but only the name has changed. The leadership and the Marxist purpose continue unchanged. The organization uses the poor as storm trooper to bring our country closer to ruin and their beloved Marxism every day. And you, you wonderful couch potato are helping them make it all happen!

Hello, I would like to know what's wrong with you people? The President didn't create this climate we are in . Did everyone forget about President Bush ? Senator John McCain was part of that party. They went to WAR based on a LIE. Were was the ta party then?

Sarah Palin is a joke! Her youngest child appears to have down sydrome. Who will take care of him the rest of his life? Oh yeah Us the tax payers. Her and her husband are not going to be here for ever.!!!

President Obama is doing his best to clean up this MESS THE BEST HE CAN!!! Stop fighting him on every issue pick and choose your battles. Health care is not one of them. Every one needs health care, God forbid if you have a loved one diagnosed with a life threating illnes and you don't have insurance to cover it. What then do you do ???

Please let the democrats and republicans join together and come to a common goal. The American people come first. Get our economy back on its feet and get everyone the health care theSARAH AND JOHN NEED TO BACK OFF!! As far as I'm Concerned Washington doesn't reflex the everyday AMERCIAN. America and Her Meaning Uniquely Explained

My father’s act of bravery in World War I won for him the Distinguished Service Cross. He was picked as one of Pershing’s 100 Heroes. His bravery came from his ancestry, America’s pioneers.

My father, however, let alcohol get the best of him. His shame drove him inward. He never had a good word for me when I was a child. I felt unloved and could not give love.

At midlife, my second marriage ended in divorce. At the same time my business career ended. I blamed my business failure on government and took legal action.

After studying my Constitution, I went to the county law library to study the procedure for taking the IRS to court. I had a personal stake in the outcome. That gave me the authority. Besides it was in my bloodline. While studying my Constitution and legal procedure for being heard in a meaningful way, in a meaningful place, not in an IRS office, I felt that voices from the past were speaking to me, encouraging me. I had a calling to do more than fight for my own rights. What I was doing was for my beloved America.

I was later to learn that at midlife Uranus, my ruling planet, had transited in its orbit around the sun to a position opposing itself when I was born. That meant pressure to change. July 4, 1776, the birth date of the United States, meant Uranus was her ruling planet. The United States was born under the sign of Aquarius, the water-bearer to humanity. When I was born, the sun rose on Aquarius, meaning I’m Aquarius rising. The rising sign is the part of us we show the world. As we age we become more our rising sign.

In 1975, under pressure to change, I cut from the herd. I took legal action against the IRS; I bought a sailboat I named Bold Venture and set sail on the South Atlantic Ocean. For two years, I sailed the out-islands of the Bahamas, during which time the hand of God was on my wheel in a violent storm. Inexplicably, I was at my destination at my estimated time of arrival and sailed through breakers extending completely across the inlet, surfing down a wave that never broke into the inlet. My crew called it a miracle.

After my sea adventure, a second miracle occurred. Out of the blue, my soul mate for life appeared. Strangely, I knew it from the moment we met. The IRS, by the way, hung itself with its own rope. One with my experience would naturally believe he is under spiritual guidance. All of my dreams have come true.

You probably have not had America explained the way I’m explaining our reason for being here. When you read about the Age of Pisces and the Piscean nature, you know why Pisceans voted for Obama. Read about the nature of Aquarians and you’ll know why you joined the Tea Party. You have the nature of early Americans. Since the Age of Pisces is fading into the past and we are entering the Age of Aquarius, you know you’ve come to the right place. We are going to take America back.

Hi everyone, I would like to propose and Idea.

That will rejuiveinate the american spirt. Lets work with congress to pass a bill that will allow individuals to earn up to $250,00.00 a year without any goverance. Thats right no county, no state no federal Lic's. No goverance on any level that would inhibit the earning of this individual's living and persuit of happiness.

This will allow the Rebirth of America! People working and propering with out the onerous burden of gov.. It goes without saying that this would be gainfull legal work, that improves their community and themselves done safely and with dignity.

Think about the 8.4 million unemployed and what they could do if this were law now.

The goverment will still reap the rewards of this hard work in many ways. Lets make America a free and prosperous place with happy plp again. Edwin

The answer is yes and no. As the great sage Forest Gump remarked frequently, “stupid is as stupid does.” And socialism is clearly what a socialist does. Rajjpuut has set out numerous times plentiful proof positive of Obama’s not mere socialism but rather his being raised as an abject communist. The material from his autobiography #1 “Dreams from My Father” although he goes well out of his way to omit the words “communism” and “socialism” and the writings and life of his father Barak Hussein Obama, Sr.** (and that is the correct spelling of the older man’s first name and the son’s birth-name spelling: a common Muslim name; the "c" in our Barack's name was added much later during his higher education) clearly reveal strong communistic leanings and influence but then again the worshipful mainstream media forget to tell people about that book while getting all hot and bothered by his second and more circumspect autobiography “The Audacity of Hope.” The citizen voter should make no mistake, however, socialism on the road to an eventually desired communism is right up Barak's alley.

Unfortunately Beck leaves some of the most interesting and “rather inflammatory” material, that is, Obama first campaigning for Raila Odinga (purportedly a cousin) in 2006 and then Obama’s interrupting his own campaigning in 2007 to again visit his father’s homeland and campaign for Odinga, the communist (university educated in East Berlin before the fall of the Berlin Wall) candidate, for President of his father’s native land Kenya. A few days after the discover, Odinga revised the paper to eliminate all those objectionable features. He did nothing and said nothing, however, to stop the Muslim attacks, and tribal violence, rapes and arsons on opposing tribes as well as Christian settlements and churches that followed. Ob ama, of course, has not publicized his activities on Odinga’s behalf. To make this clear: some of the Christian attacks occurred earlier and the tribal violence in general occurred after Odinga lost the election. A few months later to pacify the Muslims, Odinga was named Prime Minister by the newly-elected President.

An American Hero Story

I found my father's twin on the Internet, playing his accordian on the street for his keep. Lt. Joseph W. Smith, my father, was written up in the Saturday Evening Post as one of General Pershing's 100 Heros.

"Not long ago the Secretary of War was asked by one of the Government publicity committees to cable General Pershing and ask him if he would select one hundred typical stories of American heroism during the war. Some three weeks later General Pershing cabled the Secretary that he had assembled his board of officers which awarded the Destinguished Service medals and that they had selected one hundred representative types of American heroism."

"It should be borne in mind that there were literally thousands of instances of heroism among our fighting troops in France, and that any selection confined to so small a number as one hundred would necessarily omit more examples than it could possibly include. The one hundred exploits given are, howere, sufficiently numerous and fine to stir the blood of any American who reads thes wonderful little stories of the unflinching courage of our boys."

"Lieutenant Smith had no thought for his own safety. His was a question of saving his men from casualties. He swam across the Rupt de Mad, a small stream on September 12, 1918. My family's bloodline goes back to the pioneers who proceeded west along the Columbian trial. They made America the greatest bastion of freedom the world has ever known. We must not let them down.

Allow this Liberal "Tealeaf" a moment of your time.

[I'm going to add some significant edits, I will put them in bold. To be fair, the first 6 replies to this blog occurred before the changes.]

I'm a liberal, but I think I'm a freedom loving liberal. I do support Obama mostly including Health Care. [sorry] It's not perfect, don't agree with the mandates, but at least it is an actual system to make better as time goes on... or as the Bible says "When the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away". This is not what I want to talk about though.

I want to talk about freedom. Personal freedom. A freedom to be on the internet and state personal views.. just as you do here.

...it is good to have such freedom.


I'm posting because I don't want the government to have total control over it's citizens and from what I hear, you guys are the kind of people who don't want that either. So in a way we are both on the same page here. But the government is taking this control anyway, without your consent and by a means that is easily something overlooked.

The government is giving itself the right to block information on the internet and to watch everything you do on the internet. This is being done by international treaties set up for the protection of digital media. [Music, Movies, Games, etc.] The USA is pursuing these treaties to do this and our country and other countries are already enacting laws to similar effect. Here is some sources, though they are surely not the only and most likely not the best.





I'm going to put this really simply. I am reasonably sure you do not want to live in a police state. Especially so if it is a Liberal police state. The internet, for all the other things it also is, is a big store. Lot's of buying and selling. These laws and treaties that are being created are designed to give the government the right to be the security of the digital merchandise sold on the internet. Just as a Wal-Mart uses surveillance to prevent theft, these laws are permitting the government to track you to prevent theft. In this case it isn't even a matter of nation security, they are taking your freedom and privacy to stop Movies, Music and Games from being used without payment.

Basically they have turn my government and your's into a Mall Cop. That's right, we're becoming "A Mall Cop State".

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't think that rejecting the notion of living under a Police State, but accepting living under "A Mall Cop State" is part of anyone's goal towards creating smaller government.

So I'll let you all get back to your Obama bashing in a second, but I want you to know that support for this sort of thing lies with both parties. Republican and Democrat are both at fault for supporting this because it comes off as both pro-business and anti-crime and at the same time it gives the federal government a little more right to spy on you and control what you have access to.

I want you to know I did this today out of earnest concern for a real threat to freedom in America. The fight over Obama is just a battle... no, make that a just skirmish. Even if you beat Obama flat out, if you let others gain this control over us, the war is lost. It will be lost for both of us because there will certainly be both Conservative and Liberal Presidents with this power if you let these powers be established.

So basically what I was and still am hoping for out of my post here, is that terms like "Digital Rights Management", "DRM", "Anti-Piracy" or "Anti-Counterfeit", and any of those terms joined to the words "Treaty" or "Trade Agreement" start to get your attention the same way that the mention of Health Care and Taxes do. I want this to happen because I would think that you should want this to happen. The way I see it, this is another avenue...no, make that "this is a super-highway" towards government control over everything on the internet [and today that is almost everything in life].

Me, I'm just a nobody. I'm a middle-aged PC gamer and so I'm a little familiar with this issue in ways other less PC-savvy are not. When "PC gamers" complain, we are just dismissed as pro-piracy and in between we're not very vocal or organised.

This is, I guess, why I posted all this. You guys are organized and vocal and are kind of an impartial 3rd party to the piracy issue. And again, at the same time, this is an issue by which the governments are right now establishing the means to maintain control over you and me, limit our privacy and reduce our access to information whenever it feels it wants to do so. In this I am sure we both in some agreement that such a thing is not good for any American. I hope I explained well enough why you may want to start expressing a little outrage over this and if you do, on this I wish you success.

Yes, I'm calling this person out. STAND UP AND ADMIT YOU WROTE IT! SAY WHO YOU ARE SO THAT THE ENTIRE MOVEMENT IS NOT SMEARED BY YOUR HATEFUL EMAIL.

Everyone here, and I mean EVERYONE should be concerned that this type of email is not attributed to anyone individual but rather the entire group.

iI a firm believer that we create our own prison that we live in. If America will not stand up and say we have had enough, then we will be a part of creating our own prison that we are in. Enough of the babble that our supposed leaders are spewing out!!!!!!!!!!!! If we want our freedoms that EVERYONE enjoys every day, then we have to make our voices heard. Everyone, who believes the Tea Party are a bunch of racists are obviouslly followers instead of leaders, because they have not done the homework to know what we stand for.

Let me apologize

I did not mean to come off as heavy handed in my previous blogs. Please excuse my horrible behavior. I am not actually that way. My opinion of doctors is that we should examine and question everything. I do not condone murdering anyone. I did not want to sound prejudiced, it is that we need something to stop illegal immigrants from coming here and staying; and when they are not able to find work and then making the taxpayers pick up their bills. I pay my own way, they should too.

If there is anything I can do for the Party, please email me. I can be extremely useful when it comes to contacting our government reps. I can make phone calls and send faxes; whatever I can do to help.

My Prophecy

The world we knew a hundred years ago could not imagine our world. The momentum is rapidly increasing. Nearly 20 years of hard work by hundreds of people have made a dream machine come true. Today, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, in Switzerland, has delivered its first high-energy particle collisions to quantum physics experiments. The new data will give us an unprecedented tool to understand the Universe we live in, all the way back to the first instant of its existence. Time and space separate events, but we’re going to know the original event that happened 15 billion years ago, and what followed, adding to our conscious awareness, significantly shrinking the universe, and enlarging our presence.

Add to this awesome scenario, the current shrinking size of our world. Not to mention goldbricking staff using the company computer to view porn, or chit-chat, there are always those who refuse to carry their part of the load, networking is bringing economic growth, as well as communication that uplifts us to a greater level of understanding. Exploding connections are bringing about sudden shifts, tearing apart old laws of wealth. Billions of thoughts passed along are manifested in manufactured objects. Value in scarcity is becoming value in plentitude. The more computers we build, the cheaper they become, and the more useful, too. Once a thought gets wired, spreading like a prairie fire, the whole scene changes. Them that’s got shall get. The momentum is overpowering. The individual grows in stature, government control freaks shrink. We are on the way to decentralization. The Tea Party is on our path of destiny.

If entrepreneurs come up with more and more of value, the more plentiful they are, the more valuable things are given away. Microsoft gives away its Web browser. Government takes in order to give. Private industry gives and makes a profit. The cheaper it gets to replicate things, the closer we get to insignificant cost. Networking solidifies a pathway, allowing the free flow of ideas and evolvement. Giant corporations are hardwired in order to optimize. They will start disappearing like dinosaurs. Innovators will keep the ball rolling. The only one to worry about productivity will be the robot. We’ll be free to run our own show.

Progressive government will be thought of like the feudal system. The past and present are linking and moving the world to self-government, found in my dictionary under the word “anarchy:” a theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society.

We are on an Aquarian adventure, folks. Love and peace will prevail.

Yet the timeless in you is aware of life’s timelessness

And knows that yesterday is but today’s memory and tomorrow is today’s dream

I Am the Liberal-Progressive's Worst Nightmare! I am an American.I believe in God. I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and believe inAmerican products.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some liberalgovernmental functionary, Democratic or Republican! I'm in touch withmy feelings and I like it that way! I think owning a gun doesn't makeyou a killer; it makes you a smart American. I think being a minoritydoes not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you toanything. Get over it!

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't wantyou deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in theworld for the next four years. I dislike those people standing in theintersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making'donations' to their cause......Get a Job and do your part!

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes twoparents. I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyersthink. I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed inAMERICA!

If this makes me a GOOD American, then yes, I'm a GOOD American.

We want our country back!


Is there anyone else who has a problem with some of this? We are not only losing support, but more importantly, our American Values if we subscribe to ALL of these ideas.


First: If someone is a liberal progressive or not, we are not their nightmares. We are not enemies of our fellow Americans. We are the ones who must show the errors of their beliefs.


Second: Are we really attacking minorities and saying "Get over it?" THAT IS NOT WHAT BEING AN AMERICAN IS! What do I believe? That no matter WHAT color skin you have or heritage, you have the same opportunities here as anyone else. Nobody gets special treatment. ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.


Third: I don't care in what language you sell me a Big Mac. If I don't speak that language, I'll go buy from someone who does. If its a private enterprise, you can run it any way you want. WE CANNOT DEMAND PEOPLE SPEAK ENGLISH OUTSIDE OF OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS!


Fourth: I *do* pity the poor. The government has trapped them in poverty and instead of enabling them to pursue their own economic goals, they government has made them dependent on the state. THIS MUST BE A CENTRAL ISSUE TO WIN OVER HEARTS AND MINDS! The Government must be restrained so that the individual may flourish!


Fifth: Do not denigrate people who solicit for their causes. THIS COUNTRY'S GREATEST STRENGTH IS ITS CHARITY! It doesn't matter if its on the phone, at a fund raiser or on the corner. If you don't want to give, don't give, but do not EVER tell someone they shouldn't ask for their cause.


Sixth: DO NOT SAY THAT ONLY THE AMERICAN FLAG SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN AMERICA! We have a diverse heritage and we should be able to celebrate that. If I want to fly an Italian flag, I will fly an Italian flag (always giving reverence to the American flag when displayed together).


This email, if typical of the Tea Party, is going to drive a lot of us away. This country was not built on anger, but on the belief that we can do better.


Maybe I shouldn't be in this organization if this is what the Tea Party believes.

So You Want Your Country Back

Voltaire said, “He who doesn’t have the spirit of the time has all the misery.” Take your choice. We’ve been through the discovery of the soul of America, her development, her diversification, her stabilization, all bringing to the American people the freest, most prosperous nation on earth. With truth and justice for all, we should be in harmony. We are not. We are divided. We are getting lies from our leaders. Justice is one-sided. A house divided will not long stand.

We Americans have a government of the people, for the people. Therefore, it comes down to the individual. Do you trust God or government? Half of we Americans trust the progressive order of Divine Providence and our increasing purpose, half trust progressive government. It calls for change. It is quite obvious that the change will be either to collectivist dictatorship, and all the misery that goes with it, or change to the spirit of the time.

Our Constitution begins with, “We, the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

I, for one, studied my Constitution way back in 1975 and what it meant to me at the worst time in my life. I was jobless and my second wife was divorcing me. I imaged voices of the past speaking to me, encouraging me. I had a bigger than life calling, a calling bigger than my own woes. My life started improving. I imagined that my spiritual guides were leading me. Out of the blue, my soul mate for life appeared. I love her and I’m loved back. Our marriage is made in heaven. I’m certain my spiritual guides have led me since my bigger than life calling. Now in the twilight of life, all of my dreams have been fulfilled.

Our Founding Fathers believed in Divine Providence. They were not doctrinaire or dogmatic in that belief. The American people ordained our Constitution. They invested in the sacred Higher Law, the background of our Constitution. Christ, the emblem of the perfect man, was and is for everyone, be they Christian, Jew, or Muslim, to aspire to. It’s the best we can do, so get with the spirit of the time. It will work miracles in your lives. Keep the faith. The groundswell is building that will gain our nation back.
