We must be very cautious about something.  All patriotic, God-fearing Americans were ecstatic when Donald Trump won the Presidency last week. Still, it’s imperative to realize that we have only just begun, that the victory is not even close to being complete and that there is still a very long, difficult road to travel.  The radical Democratic Party and the Deep State will not give up.  They will never surrender.  They're only going to double down and try even harder to accomplish their nefarious purpose of taking over America and turning the country into a godless, totalitarian Marxist state.  That's what they live for, their only reason for existence.  The election of Donald Trump was just the beginning of defeating them; it wasn’t the end.

If we become complacent, if we aren’t cautious and double-down ourselves, we will ultimately lose. Any malevolent enemy like the Left needs to be thoroughly annihilated, every cancer cell destroyed because as long as there is one scintilla of breath left in any of those people, they will never give up.  You don’t compromise with evil, you don’t placate it, you don’t pet it.  You destroy it utterly.  It’s the only way, or it will come back.  And we are a long way from destroying the Evil that is the Deep State Left.  

But because of human imperfections and pride, the title of this column is true:  it may be harder to stay on top than it is to get there in the first place.  Over 200 years ago, historian Sir Alexander Fraser Tytler got it exactly right.  Great nations start in bondage, in slavery, oppressed by tyrants.  Then (those who become great) develop a spiritual faith, a belief in something higher and nobler than themselves, and it builds a certain, unique character in them.  That spiritual faith produces great courage, and that courage eventuates in freedom.  Freedom at last!  But it’s always a long, demanding process.

Freedom creates prosperity, and, sadly, at that point, the scale starts tipping the other way again.  Once people become prosperous, they want to enjoy that prosperity and become increasingly pleasure-oriented.  They desire to enjoy the fruits of their labors, and thus, the faith, courage, virtue, and qualities that led them to the top gradually disintegrate.  Tytler says they go from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to apathy, from apathy to dependence, and then...back into bondage.  Such are the principles of human history.  And, up to a certain point, such has been the history of the United States.

America started as an English colony, of course, but the faith of our early pioneers was great.  That faith led the country to liberty and prosperity, following exactly Tytler’s path.  By the 1950s, we were the undisputed power of the world, the paper-tiger USSR notwithstanding.  We were free.  And wealthy.  And we became selfish and fell asleep, enjoying our liberty and luxury.  The enemy, always lurking and waiting, attacked, and we apathetically and ignorantly watched the decline.

Yes, America had Reagan.  But, since then, it has had two Establishment Bushes, Clinton, Obama, and then, horribly, Joe Biden.  We almost fell back into bondage.  But we woke up just in time to elect Donald Trump, especially this year. America is not finished yet—sigh of relief.

However, we need to realize this is just a new beginning.  The Democrats and Deep State don’t understand why they lost, but that is irrelevant.  They are never going to give up, and if we think, because we’ve reached the apex again, that we’ve “won” the final victory, then we have completely forgotten the lessons of history that Sir Tytler taught us 200+ years ago. Folks, it isn’t time to enjoy the fruits of our victory; it is time to fight even harder to ensure history doesn’t repeat itself, and we lose our freedoms. 

In the 1950s, America was the greatest nation on earth, and we want to Make America Great Again.  But the Democrats and the Deep State—many of whom are Republicans—don’t want that.  And they’ll keep fighting to get what they want. 

Mr. Trump has made some excellent choices for his Cabinet, but Mr. Trump himself can only do so much.  He’s not a dictator, and we don’t want one.  Trump will do some good things, but he won’t get everything he—and we—want, and we can’t expect him to.  The forces against him are too deep and entrenched, and they will fight for their lives.  Just look at what else has happened in the Republican Party recently.

Mike Johnson will be Speaker of the House again.  I have not trusted that man since almost the first day he became Speaker and betrayed the Republican Party by wasting billions of Biden dollars (our money) on Ukraine.  He’s been an Establishment Republican, and he’ll have to prove, to me at least, that he’s not.  He hasn’t even come close to doing that yet.

And then the Senate.  They elected a Mitch McConnell clone as Majority Leader, not a MAGA Republican.  We must understand that many of the Republicans in Congress have been in Washington for a long time, longer than Donald Trump has been around.  They aren’t populists; they are McConnell Establishmentarians.  And they are going to be there a while longer.  It will take a few deaths and a few more election cycles to cleanse the Republican Party of these treacherous, Deep State collaborators.  We’ve done nothing yet but put MAGA in the Presidency.  We got back to the top there.  But staying there will be grueling and require a continued, yeah, redoubled effort not to lose it.  Because the Left, the Establishment Deep State, will fight every step of the way.

No.  As Patric Henry said, “The war has just begun.”  All over again.

Cain Ridge Revival in KY with Two Methodist Ministers and in NY with Charles Finney

• Many "fell out" overcome with Holy Spirit. Illustrations depicted it in newspapers.
• One publication wrote, "Revivals, we rejoice to say, are becoming too numerous in our country to admit of being generally recorded in our Record."
• Charles Finney, lawyer-turned-preacher, exemplified addressing God in informal,natural language. He made God approachable.
• Social Reform spread everywhere, along with continuing revival.
• Revival spread into African-American culture as they also felt empowered by the Declaration of Independence.
• Many independent Baptist churches formed and grew. The message of "Jubilee" or Freedom, resounded with Black churches.
• This Awakening impacted society, changed how Americans worshiped and preached, inspired social reform and converted thousands to Christianity.

Haystack Prayer Meeting  –  August 1806

• Samuel Mills and 4 other Williams College students caught in a Sat afternoon rain, stopped to pray at a haystack in a field; It began to rain and they took shelter in the lee of a haystack
  and continued praying.
• "The Haystack Prayer Meeting" launched the modern mission movement, as they debated the theology of missionary service. They committed themselves to missionary service.
• "The Brethren" was formed, with the mission to go to non-Christian countries. They went to India. 
• Samuel Mills became the Haystack person of greatest influence as he founded the American Bible Society and the United Foreign Missinary Society,
• Byram Green, oversaw the monument erected in Mission Park in Williamstown, MA, to honor the 5 men involved in the Haystack prayer meeting. One Hundred years later, a commemoration was held at Williams College in MA. In 2006, another celebreation of Haystack was held and the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions (ABCFM) was formed, to help students go abroad and spread the Gospel of Christ.
• Motto – "We can do it if we will!”

#3      1857-58 Revival    The Prayer Revival or Businessman's Revival

NYC noon prayer meeting started by a local pastor burdened to pray for NYC

• Dred Scot had been decided that African-Americans and descendents could not be U.S. Citizens. The Civil War began.
• Businessman Jeremiah Lanphier was converted at Finney's Broadway Tabernacle in NY. He hosted a Wed. pm prayer meeting for businessmen. At 12 noon, no one came. Same. 12:25.
  At 12:30, the 1st businessman came. Then 5 more. The next Wed., 20 came. Then the stock market crashed. Desperation.. Then 3,000 showed up. One attendee spread it to Philadelphia. He brought in 2,500. It grew.
• Horace Greeley sent a reporter on horseback across NYC at noon looking for anyone who was not praying; could find none!
• The revival moved from NYC to campuses across America
• YMCA expanded into the collegiate ministry in 1858 to 180 campuses in 1884

• YMCA staffed with student leadership dedicated to evangelism
• Carleton College (MN) – 1878 every student in all 4 classes professed Christ!

#4      1905-06 Azuza Street Revival   

• “Never in the history of universities have there been so many genuine spiritual awakenings among students.”
• Seeds for this revival were planted at the July 1886 Mt. Hermon student conference for 250 students from 89 campuses with D.L. Moody
• ‘The Princeton Covenant’  –  100 signed at the conference to go to mission field unless God stopped them
• Spawned the worldwide Pentacostal Movement.
• Evangelist William J. Seymour came from LA to Mississippi to preach the Apostolic faith, which combined baptism of Holy Spirit with speaking in Tongues (glossalialia) as recorded in Acts 2.
• This was the greatest era of missions sending in the history of the USA – The Student Volunteer Movement
• Motto  –  “The evangelization of the world in this generation”
• The paper, "Apostolic Faith" was begun, distributed, for free. It went from 5,000 distributions, to 40,000 distributions.

• 2 students from Los Angeles drove 2,300 miles to Minneapolis to pray with Dr. J. Edwin Orr and Dr. Billy Graham for campus revival
• Orr preached at Bethel College chapel, “there was much prayer in the dormitories, followed by intense conviction of sin among the students in chapel and in classroom…Conviction was relieved only by outright confession, restitution, restoration or conversion to God”
• Oct. 1955 NY Times, “More than 1,200 of the nation’s 1,900 colleges and universities now have a ‘religious emphasis week of some sort.”

With President-elect Trump headed back to the White House and Republicans in the majority in Congress, Democrats have few options to push back against the GOP agenda.

But one enterprising North Carolina lawmaker thinks his minority party should look across the pond to the United Kingdom for the answer to "go toe to toe" with Trump. Rep. WIley Nickels, D-N.C., has proposed that Democrats create a "shadow cabinet" to organize the opposition and challenge each decision by the government.

"Across the Atlantic, the British have something we don’t: a team from the opposition that mirrors the government’s cabinet members. They watch the cabinet closely, publicly challenging, scrutinizing and offering new ideas. It’s another form of checks and balances — a quiet guardrail that keeps power accountable," Wiley argues in an op-ed for the Washington Post.

His proposal is to appoint 26 Democratic leaders in Congress to mirror Trump's Cabinet-level officials and challenge each initiative of the incoming administration. Sen.-elect Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for instance, could be a shadow attorney general who would call out Trump's efforts to replace career Justice Department attorneys with those loyal to the president. Or Rep. Gregory W. Meeks, D-N.Y., might be a shadow Secretary of State who would loudly oppose potential action by the Trump administration that would decrease support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.

"We have to step up our game. We have to go toe to toe with Trump. And it's not just about saying, you know what, what we're against. It's about saying what we're for and putting our best messengers out there," Nickel told CNN's Laura Coates in a recent interview. 

In the U.K., a shadow cabinet is a team of opposition leaders that reflect the ruling party's cabinet members. The shadow cabinet has a counterpart for every minister in the ruling coalition's government. 

It's a system Nickel argues has worked for a century. 

"They watch the Cabinet closely, publicly challenging, scrutinizing and offering new ideas," Nickel wrote in his op-ed. "It’s democracy’s insurance policy. And it strengthens the government, too: There is no room for lazy ideas when rivals stand ready."

There are key differences between the U.S. and U.K. governments that might complicate this idea. The most obvious being that the U.K. uses a parliamentary system, where multiple parties form coalition governments as opposed to the dual party system Americans have. The U.K. prime minister is the head of government and leads the Cabinet, which exercises the executive power. 

The American founders intentionally created a different system. The U.S. Constitution invests the legislative power in Congress and the authority to enforce laws in the Executive Branch, which is led by the president. The president's cabinet officials each head different executive agencies, which are created by Congress but not administered by lawmakers. 

Several of President-elect Trump's Cabinet picks will need Senate confirmation. Members of the cabinet are nominated by the president and confirmed with the "advice and consent" of the Senate. Nickels' proposed shadow cabinet officials would not be subject to similar checks on power. In addition, in the absence of a definite constitutional authority, it is unclear what powers a "shadow cabinet" might exercise, or what purpose it would serve other than to voice objections to Trump's policies – which every member of Congress can already do during legislative debate.

In an interview with LiveNow from FOX, Nickel clarified that his idea is a "communications push."

"It’s about putting out our positive message to counter what we’re seeing from Trump. And if Trump or his Cabinet secretaries step out of line we’ve got somebody ready to go and answer, and be accountable to the American people on things we care about," he explained. 

"This is about putting a point person for advocacy groups, for the public, a lead messenger … we need to organize our opposition," Nickel said. "We can do our own American version of a [shadow cabinet] that will help Democrats do the thing we didn’t do, which is get out our positive message and talk about the things that folks are rightly concerned about."

George Soros and the Shadow Party Behind Crises to Take Down America!-Posted on ConspiracyAnalyst.org-On July 15, 2014:

From undermining the Second Amendment and influencing elections to sponsoring color revolutions in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the ominous footprint of George Soros is everywhere.

The Hungarian-born billionaire and currency speculator who considers himself a messianic figure was voted “the single most destructive leftist demagogue in the country” by respondents to a poll published by the Human Events newspaper in 2011.

“George Soros is the most dangerous man in the world because, just like the crazy megalomaniacs in old fifties movies, he is deceiving everybody into believing that he is altruistic, when in fact, he is using his Open Society/Shadow Party to undermine the very fabric of American society,” the newspaper explained.

If not for Soros’ immense wealth a sizable number of leftist organizations would be far less influential. He has fed more than $7 billion to the likes of Media Matters, ACORN, La Raza, the Huffington Post, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Planned Parenthood, the Center for American Progress, MoveOn.org and dozens of other organizations pushing a socialist and ultimately globalist agenda on the American people.

Dangerous Globalist

Dismantling national sovereignty is at the top of the Soros list. “Insofar as there are collective interests that transcend state boundaries, the sovereignty of states must be subordinated to international law and international institutions,” he said in 1998.

The United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund are organizations he believes should be dictating economic, social and political policy.

“To stabilize and regulate a truly global economy, we need some global system of political decision making. In short, we need a global society to support our global economy,” he writes in The Crisis of Global Capitalism.

Individual states and national populations should not be allowed to govern their own economic affairs – instead, this process will be accomplished by a global financial elite, according to Soros. “Given the decisive role that international financial capital plays in the fortunes of individual countries, it is not inappropriate to speak of a global capitalist system,” he writes in Open Society: Reforming Global Capitalism Reconsidered.

For Soros and the financial elite nations that fall under their control are democracies while those beyond their reach are autocratic, totalitarian and abusive of human rights.

“It is a historical fact that the countries that constitute the center of the global capitalist system are democratic but the same is not true of all the capitalist countries that lie on the periphery,” Soros explains. “Rulers are reluctant to relinquish their power; they need to be pushed.”

Pushing Color Revolution

Since the early 1980s Soros has used his immense wealth and influence to “build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens,” in other words, governments answerable to the financial elite.

Following the fall of the Soviet Union, Soros played an instrumental role in moving former satellite nations into the globalist fold.

“From 1979, he distributed $3 million a year to dissidents including Poland’s solidarity movement, Charter 77 in Czechoslovakia and Andrei Sakharov in the Soviet Union,” writes Neil Clark. “In 1984, he founded his first Open Society Institute in Hungary and pumped millions of dollars into opposition movements and independent media. Ostensibly aimed at building up a ‘civil society”, these initiatives were designed to weaken the existing political structures and pave the way for eastern Europe’s eventual exploitation by global capital. Soros now claims with characteristic immodesty, that he was responsible for the ‘Americanization’ of eastern Europe.”

In 2000, following a NATO bombing campaign, Soros began his color revolution push in Serbia. His color revolution NGOs ran the Slobodan Milosevic opposition. “TheYugoslavs remained stubbornly resistant and repeatedly returned Slobodan Milosevic’s reformed Socialist Party to government. Soros was equal to the challenge. From 1991, his Open Society Institute channeled more than $100 million to the coffers of the anti-Milosevic opposition,” Clark explains.

After Milosevic fell and was sent to stand trial for war crimes before the internationalist court at the Hague, “Serbia, under the auspices of Soros- backed ‘reformers’” became “less, not more, free,” Clark writes. The Serbian people were subject to the standard round of globalist economic medicine as Soros “copied a pattern he has deployed to great effect over the whole of eastern Europe of advocating ‘shocking therapy’ and ‘economic reform’, then swooping in with his associate to buy valuable state assets at knock-down prices.”

Soros repeated the pattern in neighboring Georgia where funds from his Open Society Institute funded the so-called Rose Revolution that threw out Eduard Shevardnadze and installed former justice minister Mikhail Saakashvili. Georgian activists were tutored by the Soros-backed Serbian Otpor (Resistance) movement on how to use peaceful revolution to topple a government disfavored by the international elite.

Georgian Foreign Minister Salomé Zourabichvili told the French journal Hérodote that Soros’ NGOs were not only responsible for toppling Shevardnadze, but had subsequently become an integral part of the resulting governmental power structure.

A few years later Soros would employ the tactics sharpened in Eastern Europe to foment the Arab Spring in the Middle East and Africa.

“The Soros center’s job in eastern Europe is nearly finished. Its main focus now is the Islamic world, Arab countries, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc,” The Open Society Institute consultant Dr. Kian Tajbakhsh told Iranian officials following his arrest for trying to undermine the government.

In Egypt the color revolution turned blood red and managed to ultimately install a military dictatorship after a cobbled together plan to have a Muslim Brotherhood puppet rule the country failed. The Muslim Brotherhood has served for decades as an asset of U.S. and British intelligence.

Violence also ruled in Ukraine when a group of fascists selected by the U.S. State Department overthrew the country’s democratically elected president. In May George Soros told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria he is responsible for establishing an NGO in Ukraine that ultimately contributed to the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych and the installation of a junta.

“Many of the participants in Kiev’s ‘EuroMaidan’ demonstrations were members of Soros-funded NGOs and/or were trained by the same NGOs in the many workshops and conferences sponsored by Soros’ International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), and his various Open Society institutes and foundations. The IRF, founded and funded by Soros, boasts that it has given ‘more than any other donor organization’ to ‘democratic transformation’ of Ukraine,” writes William F. Jasper.

The “democratic transformation” of Ukraine has resulted in ethnic cleansing and may soon serve as a pivot for World War III.

Installing a President in America

The lesson Soros learned in 1989 when he used his wealth to install Vaclav Havel in the Czech Republic is that elections and preferred candidates can be bought with due diligence and a lot of money.

In the United States he has donated substantial amounts of cash to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Charles Rangel, Al Franken, Tom Udall, Joe Sestak, and Sherrod Brown in a determined effort to transform America.

During the 2004 election cycle he donated “$23,581,000 to various liberal 527 Groups dedicated to defeating President George W. Bush. Soros contributed $3 million to the leftist propagandist Center for American Progress and $5 million to radical leftist MoveOn.org,” according to Conservapedia.

The so-called “Shadow Party” – conceived by Soros, Hillary Clinton and Harold Ickes – sidestepped reforms put in place by Senators John McCain and Russ Feingold and donated millions in soft money to the Democrat Party.

“Without Soros and the Shadow Party, Barack Obama would be, at best, a senator from Illinois attending social gatherings with domestic terrorists Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and sitting in the pews of black liberation theologist Reverend Jeremiah Wright,” notes Human Events. “At worse, he’d be an unremarkable and unheard of state senator. Instead, Barack Obama is the President of the United States.”

The cozy personal relationship between Obama and Soros dates back to 2004 when Obama ran for the Senate and became Soros’ “Chosen One.” He was selected by the “Phoenix Group” – a confab of wealthy Democrat donors – and was guided through the Senate and ultimately installed in the White House.

“Obama has the charisma and the vision to radically reorient America in the world,” Soros said in 2007 after he sent the Senator from Illinois the maximum individual contribution allowed by campaign finance law.

Resistance to the Beast

Due to hubris and arrogance Soros and the Shadow Party did not consider the degree of popular resistance they would encounter after Obama became president.

From the tea party to a fresh crop of libertarian-minded Republicans, there is a growing surge within America to defeat the globalists and diminish the influence and control of George Soros and the globalist ilk.

The path ahead, however, will be a difficult one. Soros is one player and there are others maneuvering behind the scenes to destroy the sovereignty of the United States and systematically dismantle the bulwarks standing in the way of realizing a New World Order.
