How simple can it get?Early RetirementThe FixThere recently was an article in the St. Petersburg Fl. Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?"I think this guy nailed it!_____Dear Mr. President,Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan":There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:1) They MUST retire.. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered – Auto Industry fixed.3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage – Housing Crisis fixed.It can't get any easier than that!!P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes....Mr... President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!If you think this would work, please forward to everyone you know. If not, please disregard.

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY.!!!You must read this...a proper decision by the courts...for a change.FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLIDAYIn Florida, an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays."The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fool’s Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. The popularity this group has quickly gained is a testament to the widespread disapproval of our federal government. It is also a very rare chance we are fortunate to finally have. Let us be very, very careful to defend only the simple and elegant core principles of small, limited federal government, and liberty for all.Please let us never be known for our association with one political party over another, but rather for our advocation of ideas that accomplish restoring the individual liberties of every American to live his or her life for his or herself, according to his or her values and beliefs. It is my sincere hope that this organization does not wade into emotional social issues except to assert that the federal government has no right to legislate the people's behavior. We must reject every attempt to have our federal government design our society.Some want our government to legislate traditionalist ideals; others want it to legislate progressive ideals. The answer is not to afford our federal government the power to bring our country in either direction as doing so, by virtue of establishing such a precedent, allows for the government to move America in the opposite direction in the future. Advocating one social path over another will ultimately undermine the ideals of the Tea Party organization, and will isolate millions of Americans who also believe in small, inexpensive government. Let's welcome everyone into this group who wants to see our federal government less invasive into our daily lives and our finances--regardless of his or her personal beliefs. Let us not isolate people by being for or against issues such as gay marriage, abortion, atheism or religiosity, etc. Any differences on these or other divisive social issues can be debated in the governments of the states. If we fall into the trap of desiring to have our federal government shape our nation's behavior, then we shall end up as a fractured, impotent organization, akin to our current two-party system. This is a rare chance. Please let's not squander this. Our social agendas can be hashed out on a state level. Let us undertake this movement intelligently, but not pedantically, and with a clear platform of only one issue: Freedom from the federal government.Please make this an explicit part of the Tea Party's mission, and please make it widely known, so as to cultivate support from everyone who wants be left alone by our over-fed Federal government.Thank you.

In general, I vote for the Republican party candidates because I am conservative and I feel America is safer with the Republican hands. Yet, deep inside me, I always feel that we need a third party or a movement to correct what has been going wrong in our nation for the last 21 years.Today, more than ever, I feel that we are shifting away from the core of our basic principals and the future of our nation as a leading super power in the world, is in jeopardy.Our President forgot that the American constitution was based on the BIBLE and we should not eliminate the Ten Commandments, the Christmas Holiday, or any sign of Christian faith.Our economy is deteriorating because of the non sense bail out policy and other spending policy that is going to put a heavy load on our new generation.Our social life should be embraced with liberty, freedom, and free enterprise. We are the leading nation in capitalism and we can not afford to go backward to socialism.I am very delighted to see the Tea Party is on the rise.Habib Osta

Government Officials have 'NO SKIN IN THE GAME'

How many of our US constituents realize that those who are voting on Healthcare and Social Security in DC do not have to participate in these programs?Maybe if we took all of the $s from their private US employee/retiree programs and placed both $s and members into the public programs we would get better results from our lawmakers. These people who are deciding things for us are like the person who says "don't do as I do, do as I say," this is fine for a child under 10 years but last I heard they didn't vote. All US citizens need to live by the same rules!Big question ... how do you get this change through the very people who would have to vote on it? Maybe 'we the people' need to force through TERM LIMITS so that government officials are not so focused on their professional aspirations and their pockets. How many of us feel our US state and federal officials are really there representing all of the views of their constituents - I for one do not. Let's recycle congress instead of listening to sound bytes that get their faces on the television!

As an American I want to run for US state Rep for MA in Central MA. My campaign is I will not earn a dollar and my yearly income goes to pay the deficit. I can read the bills on the computer and vote from the computer using skype so my face and voice can be heard. The bills will be posted on my website with an e-mail address so the people can speak.

I am 71. In all my days, I have not seen a worse President than Obama. His socialist pacifist agenda plus the fact that today's Dem Party is not moderate, it is not even Progressive via Teddy Roosevelt. It is an Alinskite Party. I have been teaching political science for 49 years and to be frank, I know more about free enteprise, democracy, freedom of choice, American exceptionalism than any liberal . I applaud the Tea Party Movement and urge that all Republicans, like myself, would unite with them, Libertarians, ReaganDems, common sense Dems, Constitutionalists, and Indies to push out as many leftist Dems in Nov. God bless the USA as it urges freedom ,morality, liberty and an end to Marxist ideas whether they are in Govt., our infrastructure, our university campuses or in our own State Dept. !

Scott Brown Wins, but it is a Tea Party Victory which is "We The People"

Scott Brown had been lagging the last few weeks by double digits. We contacted his organization and was asked to help. I contacted coalition partners and collectively we number in the orders of millions. The RNC had given up on him and the Tea Party and our coalition partners spread the word and brought life into his campaign.This is what has astonished the world. It is no surprized to us that Scott Brown lead all night. He was losing throughout his campaign until patriots said no more Healthcare, Obamacare. We must not focus on just one election, but multiply this nationwide at local, county, state and federal level. We demand true Representation no more Special Interest or Cronism.We need patriots to set the pace and launch our concerts to ensure Constitutional Conservatives win the midterm elections in every political party. It will be a litmus test if these parties cannot produce a Constitutional Conservative.I was not encouraged by everything Scott Brown said last night. Healthcare should be a dead issue. It seems the transformation of Scott Brown has begun. However, if we swell the ranks of Washington with more solid Constitutional Conservatives then we will have our nation back.The Administration wants to continue their insane drive toward Healthcare, but just like Glenn Beck said last night. The Progressives are a plague on our nation. They will continue to push ahead and so will we. We have only begun. We have drained millions of dollars from the coffers of both side.We need to fund this movement so we can beat these organization at the ballot box.
