EMPEROR OBAMA?

Obama has become the “executive order” president.  Circumventing the congress, picking and choosing what laws he will and will not enforce; he is becoming a tyrannical ruler, an imperial president.

He is imposing arbitrary and unrestrained exercise of power, and despotic abuse of authority upon the American people. The congress seems to be unable or unwilling to seriously challenge his trespassing beyond what the constitution allows.

As he becomes more and more emboldened to taking complete control, he must realize the need to take away guns from a people who’ve known freedom all their lives and eventually will not tolerate his becoming a monarch.

Texas is made up of 20 Education Service Centers. 19 of the Texas Education Service Centers (ESC) joined ranks and formed Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC) which owns Cscope. T

For reason's unknown at the time ESC #4 did not buy into the Collaborative.

Below you will find photos and information on the Board of Directors of TESCCC. Though TESCCC owns Cscope many other individuals are behind and supporting it. Texas has 2 RINO State Board of Education members that are in full support of Cscope, Thomas Ratliff and Patricia Hardy.

Cscope is molded after Obama's Common Core Curriculum. Common Core Curriculum is promoted by Education adviser to Obama,Humanist Linda Darling Hammond who is also associated with Communist William (Bill) Ayers. Hammond is a frequent guest speaker at Cscope Conferences. Texas Associtation of School Adminstrators (TASA) is gearing up to attend the American Association of School Adminstrators (AASA) in California in Feb. to hear Linda Darling Hammond speak on the Common Core.

How to Win our Freedom

Patriots,

We have been here before. We stand in the shadow of Tyranny, and it drives an unbearable chill through the souls of Free Men. The last time we stood here, we threw off the mountain of Tyranny against us, stood on our principles, brought a just war against our oppressors in government, and exposed ourselves and our Brethren to the full light and warmth of Liberty.

The shadow of Tyranny has once again fallen across our country. The chill to Freedom is quickly becoming unbearable. Again.

How do we pull back this blanket of Doom?

It will be the Citizens. Not the Government, but the Patriotic Citizens of We The People.

Consider:

The Battle of Athens was an armed rebellion led by WWII veterans and citizens in Athens and Etowah, Tennessee, United States, against the tyrannical local government in August 1946. The local Sheriff had illegally closed the polls, stolen the ballot boxes, and recused himself to the local courthouse to 'count' the votes.

It did not end well for him.

It did end well for Liberty.

Here is the story... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5ut6yPrObw&feature=player_detai...

It might have to come to this again for Freedom to remain.

But this time, it won't be in Athens, Tennessee...it will be in Washington D.C.

And it will come when they ATTEMPT to disarm us.

Live Free or Die Trying.

2nd Admendment

The second admentment was formulated to protect we the people from a corrupt goverment. That being said shouldn't we the people be considering the formation of a "legal" malitia according to the said second admendment? Leadership, state by state, need to be appointed, Im not sure how this should be done, It will take someone more fluent than me in this type of organizing to do this, but I think time is of the essence seeing Adolph Obama is now considering executive orders regarding gun control. Would the Tea Party be a good vehicle to start such a drive?

If you do, we have an opportunity for you at The Brenner Brief. With nearly 700,000 hits for January thus far, TheBrennerBrief.com is looked for more contributors, especially those who are able to write breaking news stories, exposés, and uncovering interesting, local news stories.

Maybe it's your school board spending crazy amounts of money, and you want to break the story. Perhaps it's something that other news sites are covering, and you have a special perspective. It could even be international news, or an interview. And, you may be uncovering a big story that needs a platform to get to the masses. Of course, we will also review opinion contributors.

At The Brenner Brief, our objecting is to "render the mainstream media useless." By working with other conservative contributors, our site is covering many of the issues that important today. However, we are doing so in a manner that allows us to communicate the conservative message to people with any political view.

If you are interested, please forward a writing sample that is under 1,000 words and your web site URL to contact@thebrennerbrief.com. Please include your name, phone, Twitter handle and state. We will review your submission and consider it carefully.

Lincoln vs Obama's Born-Again America

4063649612?profile=originalIn his Gettysburg Address, President Abraham Lincoln acknowledged that America was “conceived in Liberty.” Lincoln could never imagine voters supporting a president aborting Liberty to rebirth America conceived in Government. Obamacare is the equivalent of America born-again conceived in government.

In the classic movie, “Planet of the Apes”, Charleston Heston crash landed his spacecraft on a strange planet where apes were superior to humans. Shocked to realize that the strange planet was really earth several years into the future, Heston cried out in devastation, pain and anger at man, “Damn you! Damn you all to hell! You blew it up!”

I believe President Lincoln would have a similar reaction, returning to America today. Devastated and disbelieving, Lincoln would ask, how did this happen?

The Left began copulating the minds of voters many years ago to impregnate voters with their seed of Socialism to birth a new America conceived in Government. Democrat President Roosevelt was a Founding Seducer in the Left's scheme to have voters seek security in Government.

Decades ago, the Left successfully banned prayer in public schools which taught children that God and traditional morality were no longer welcome. Seizing the moment, like locust, socialist/progressives swarmed into schools indoctrinating our kids with their “new morality” – anti-Christian, anti-parent, anti-American and pro-homosexuality. These Leftist's agenda included branding Christianity fanatical while teaching respect and sympathy for Islam. Patriotism was redefined as rude to foreigners – Capitalism is immoral and selfish – opposing gay marriage is prejudice, equal to the black civil rights movement.

While sipping our coffees at Starbucks (President Lincoln unbelieving the price of our Javas), I continue explaining to the stunned former U.S. president how we got to where we are in America today.

Mr President, you won't believe this, but individual liberty and achievement are attacked at every turn on TV, in movies and the media. It is a box on the wall projecting images - never mind, I'll explain later.

The Oprah Winfrey TV show along with a media dominated by liberals and the Democratic Party contributed to creating the mindset in voters that everyone is a victim of someone or something. Their usual imaginary villains are rich racist male Caucasians.

The Left has created a touchy-feely culture, in which self-esteem and hurt feelings now trump common sense and individual responsibility.

Thanks to your efforts, Mr Lincoln, America elected its first black president. The bad news is he trashes the Constitution, whenever, which is often, it interferes with implementing his Socialistic agenda. Sadly, dumb-down public-school-educated feelings-trump-law voters see no problem with government usurping un-Constitutional power.

Ben Franklin said, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety”.

No Sir, Mr. Lincoln, voters did not learn of Franklin's quote in school. Public schools ceased teaching true U.S. History many years ago.

Because feelings now trump law, in the name of safety and compassion, government control/regulations have been allowed to become tyrannical. Federal regulations have quadrupled under Obama, stifling business. A tsunami of new Obama regulations are on the horizon. Meanwhile, idiot Obama voters believe the lack of jobs is President Bush's fault. I guess you're right sir (President Lincoln), calling voters idiots is probably not the best thing. But, the catastrophic consequences of their stupidity is breathtaking.

Mr Lincoln, government continues to usurp more and more control over every aspect of our lives including the calories we consume. The First Lady decided that she knows better than parents what to feed their children. As a result, federal agents confiscated a preschooler’s lunch prepared by her mom and forced her to eat government approved Chicken Nuggets.

The mayor of New York banned the sale of sugary drinks over 16oz. As a nation, we laughed and thought it absurd. But, there was no real opposition which resulted in a ban on super-sized drinks in the Big Apple.

Here's a biggy Mr. Lincoln, the Second Amendment is soon to go the way of the dinosaur. Government, remarkably with voter approval, is in the progress of disarming Americans. Thus, leaving citizens at the mercy of criminals and government to do with us as they please.

Where is our country headed when you consider that Adolf Hitler also disarmed the people and used give-a-ways to seduce supporters?

Sir, I could go on and on with examples of Americans foolishly and stupidly surrendering liberties to government for the fairy-tale promise of safety, security and a free-lunch. I know what you are thinking sir, there is no such thing as a free-lunch. Somebody has to pay the bill. Unbelievably, the Left's new morality has redefined “fairness” to mean government confiscating from achievers and redistributing to entitlement junkies.

Mr President (Lincoln), it has been awesome hanging out with you. Sir, I know it looks really really bad right now. I share your tears for our country. I promise to keep fighting for the values and principles we both know are right and best for all Americans. I am chairman of a new organization called the Conservative Campaign Committee. Our ultimate goal is to convince a majority to reject Obama's born-again America and return back to your America – conceived in Liberty.

After reading several of the comments made to the blogs, I now understand how one might come to the conclusion that the Tea Party is a racist group or even a terrorist group. Let me say that I strongly believe that it is NOT! However, there were too many comments made in very bad taste.

The Tea Party started out a political organisation and should  remain so. You members of the party will always be judged by the things you say and do. So, let's please be civil and mature in all we say and do. Let's ensure that our first amendment rights are never trampled upon and trashed by others who may not understand or who would seek to destroy this organisation, which is our last hope for a free nation.

As conservatives, are we not mostly all Christians. Talk of bloodshed should NEVER be in these conversations! Racist comments should NEVER be in these conversations! We should make every man, woman, and child feel welcome in the party and teach them that this organisation stands for the freedoms of ALL Americans!

I myself refuse to be a part of ANY group in this world which promotes a theme of racism or violence toward any of God's children. None of us are perfect, yet He loves us all.

We don't need to tone down our feelings or our compassions, just our words and actions. STAND UP and fight for your rights! But don't become the bully. Defeat the bully, politically, and for now, civily as best you can. Make this a righteous fight. Include God in every step along the way. Pray for wisdom, strength, and guidance. Do all you can to stand up to Satan, who is the real villain in all this tyrany. But always do it with righteousness in the front of your minds.

May God be with us all in this fight for freedom, in this fight against oppression!!!

FOUNDERSSPINNING!

Found this interesting, Children of congress member do not have to pay back
their college student loans

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress.
Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire  with the
same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves
from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear
of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live
under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare
Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not
have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are
Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
What I had read and based earlier postings about was a
PROPOSED Amendment...
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall
make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not
apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress  shall
make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does
not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."

Our Founding Fathers were Patriots and were expected to not take advantage of their position..
.Well the people in Congress NOW are obviously NOT of the same moral Charactor as our Founders..
.Franklin, to name one, warned about the corruption to come if given a free rein.......

SOCIAL SECURITY IS NOT THE PROBLEM!

I'm sick of people talking about entitlements. Look, social security should have never been started in the first place, but since it was the money has been forced from everyone's paycheck ever since. FORCED to pay for your future retirement!

I say the real culprits that add to our national debt are: The welfare program, The food stamp program, All the money going overseas to other nations for whatever the reason may be, and Money being wasted on any thing else that the government wants to spend our tax dollars on.

Just to name one example: I worked at Robbins Air Force Base as a construction contractor doing renovation work for about a year. You would not believe the things that were thrown away during those renovations! Over half of the furniture that would have been thrown into dumpsters, I brought home because it was in way better condition than was my furniture, which I gave away to friends because it was still in good condition!

Y'all want to talk about government waste, well, how about getting ALL the facts straight before you go slinging around words like "ENTITLEMENTS", and focus on what the government really blows our money on!

People who have been forced to pay into social security all their lives ARE entitled to draw from the program. Maybe the system can be tweaked a little, but maybe many people are actually drawn away from the Tea Party and certain candidates in the party who run for office because they just don't understand why anyone would even consider messing with social security!

"Those who have sought the most in gun control have sought the least in the punishment of criminals." - Robert J. Kukla

As we read, listen, and/or watch the news concerning a criminal tragedy of shooting children and adults as recently occurred in Newtown, Connecticut, and/or the violent lawbreaker who fired a rifle directed at Firemen in Webster, New York, the Liberals immediate remedy is to legislate more gun control.  The criminality with guns is not our problems; criminal individuals and others with deranged minds are.

Journal News’ publication of the New York citizens’ lawful purchasers’ of gun permits is just as serious of an invasion of each individual’s privacy rights as if Journal News’ privacy rights invasion(s) were in each and every individual’s own bedroom(s).

The foremost problems of illegal gun activities are the criminal elements and their political leaders within (y)our own Liberal government agencies.

Evidence may prove that several associates in President Obama’s administration, including the US Justice Department, and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) acted in the Fast and Furious plot while selling and/or approving the sale of automatic rifles, shotguns, and pistols, to a Mexican drug cartel; weapons that were used in murdering 3 innocent Americans and hundreds of Mexicans.  Our Justice Department and/or ATF had devised a scheme in an attempt to blame U.S. firearms manufacturers as scapegoats for this criminal violence.

Government gun control is nothing new.  History will prove that many Socialist and Communist leaders have become member leaders of the worldwide “Gun Control Hall of Fame”  who include: National Socialist Leader and Reich Chancellor of Nazi Germany, Adolph Hitler; Communist Party Chairman and founder of the People's Republic of China, Mao Tse-Tung; Cambodian’s Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot; and Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin who have become directly responsible for millions of innocent deaths with their own government’s gun control

When guns are confiscated by government(s), only criminals and government(s) have guns; then law-abiding voices become easier targets.

President Obama, Liberal Capitol Hill Democrats, Liberal main-stream Medias, and Liberal Academia are pounding their Liberal political agenda and silencing most Conservative by limiting or even denying any open forum in the Liberal Medias.

It is Liberal Democrat lawmakers, Liberal main-stream Medias, and Liberal Academia who spotlight Congress and States’ Legislatures into softening and/or decriminalizing more criminal acts; then demands more gun control legislation as a solution to the lawless craziness within our society.

It is our US Military who have used rifles and other weapons of war to defeat other nations, on foreign land and waters, and through the air without warfare within our own homeland in defeating enemy nations.

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto: “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.”

The 2nd Amendment of our US Constitution was crafted by our Founding Fathers to prevent a lawless and mutinous government from confiscating our weapons of protection.

“According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.”  Are Liberal Capitol Hill Democrats, Liberal main-stream Medias, and Liberal Academia proceeding to support banning hammers?

Under our 2nd Amendment freedoms, it should be unconstitutional for law-abiding citizen(s) to be required in any state to complete any government form(s) before purchasing any hunting rifle, shotgun, or pistol.  A National Instant Criminal Background Check System investigation should and would immediately qualify or deny each individual’s right to purchase a hunting rifle, shotgun, or pistol.  The criminality of using a hunting rifle, shotgun, or pistol is most feared by law-abiding citizens whenever that weapon is used by a lawless and mutinous government, as well as by unlawful and psychologically ill individuals.

Even less than a perfect solution, a m more comprehensive National Instant Criminal Background Check System can fix these glitches more quickly, accurately, effectively, and less expensive than any government(s) current laws and/or added legislation(s).

Our USA has become a nation with absent, and somewhat, lawless leadership of elected and appointed individuals who choose to obey or disobey our Constitution and US Code as they choose.  Furthermore, these lawless criminal officials are not being investigated, arrested, prosecuted, and if found guilty, sentenced to prison.

Any further gun control legislation will further tarnish (y)our Constitutional freedoms.

So there are millions of Gun owners who belong to the gun groups like the NRA and GOA

Why not organize a "MULTI" million "PERSON" march on Washington ?  Show up by the millions and go to the Supreme court and demand a redress of Grievances in regard to clarifying the 2nd amendment and what it says according to the intent of the authors who wrote it.

Use the U.S. Code that shows who the militia is , both organized and unorganized !

That is every citizen according to the U.S.Code ! FYI

Remember in 1773 a brown Bess musket was first line military weaponry

And the same would apply to the rights under the 2nd amendment today

If it is first line armed forces you should  also have the right to possess it as well.

Think this is madness

The 14 Defining Characteristics Of Fascism

Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed
to the government's policies or actions.
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

As Harpers Magazine noted when the book was published in 1955 (U. of Chicago), Milton Mayerâsextraordinarily far-sighted book on the Germans is more timely today than ever·ä

This crucial book tells how and why 'decent men' became Nazis through short biographies of 10 law-abiding citizens. An American journalist of German/Jewish descent, Mr. Mayer provides a fascinating window into the lives, thoughts and emotions of a people caught up in the rush of the Nazi movement. It is a book that should make people pause and think -- not only about the Germans, but also about themselves.

But Then It Was Too Late

"What no one seemed to notice," said a colleague of mine, a philologist, "was the ever widening gap, after1933, between the government and the people. Just think how very wide this gap was to begin with, here in Germany. And it became always wider. You know it doesn't make people close to their government to be told that this is a people's government, a true democracy, or to be enrolled in civilian defense, or even to vote. All this has little, really nothing to do with knowing one is governing.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with Hitler, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it.

"This separation of government from people, this widening of the gap, took place so gradually and so insensibly, each step disguised (perhaps not even intentionally) as a temporary emergency measure or associated with true patriotic allegiance or with real social purposes. And all the crises and reforms (real reforms, too) so occupied the people that they did not see the slow motion underneath, of the whole process of government growing remoter and remoter.

"You will understand me when I say that my Middle High German was my life. It was all I cared about. I was a scholar, a specialist. Then, suddenly, I was plunged into all the new activity, as the universe was drawn into the new situation; meetings, conferences, interviews, ceremonies, and, above all, papers to be filled out, reports, bibliographies, lists, questionnaires. And on top of that were the demands in the community, the things in which one had to, was "expected to" participate that had not been there or had not been important before. It was all rigmarole, of course, but it consumed all one's energies, coming on top of the work one really wanted to do. You can see how easy it was, then, not to think about fundamental things. One had no time."

"Those," I said, "are the words of my friend the baker. "One had no time to think. There was so much going on." "Your friend the baker was right," said my colleague. "The dictatorship, and the whole process of its coming into being, was above all diverting. It provided an excuse not to think for people who did not want to think anyway. I do not speak of your "little men", your baker and so on; I speak of my colleagues and myself, learned men, mind you. Most of us did not want to think about fundamental things and never had. There was no need to. Nazism gave us some dreadful, fundamental things to think about - we were decent people - and kept us so busy with continuous changes and "crises" and so fascinated, yes, fascinated, by the machinations of the "national enemies", without and within, that we had no time to think about these dreadful things that were growing, little by little, all around us. Unconsciously, I suppose, we were grateful. Who wants to think?

"To live in this process is absolutely not to be able to notice it - please try to believe me - unless one has a much greater degree of political awareness, acuity, than most of us had ever had occasion to develop. Each step was so small, so inconsequential, so well explained or, on occasion, "regretted," that, unless one were detached from the whole process from the beginning, unless one understood what the whole thing was in principle, what all these "little measures" that no "patriotic German" could resent must some day lead to, one no more saw it developing from day to day than a farmer in his field sees the corn growing. One day it is over his head.

"How is this to be avoided, among ordinary men, even highly educated ordinary men? Frankly, I do not know. I do not see, even now. Many, many times since it all happened I have pondered that pair of great maxims, Principiis obsta and Finem respice - "Resist the beginnings" and "consider the end." But one must foresee the end in order to resist, or even see, the beginnings. One must foresee the end clearly and certainly and how is this to be done, by ordinary men or even by extraordinary men? Things might have changed here before they went as far as they did; they didn't, but they might have. And everyone counts on that might.

"Your "little men," your Nazi friends, were not against National Socialism in principle. Men like me, who were, are the greater offenders, not because we knew better (that would be too much to say) but because we sensed better. Pastor Niemoller spoke for the thousands and thousands of men like me when he spoke (too modestly of himself) and said that, when the Nazis attacked the Communists, he was a little uneasy, but, after all, he was not a Communist, and so he did nothing: and then they attacked the Socialists, and he was a little uneasier, but, still, he was not a Socialist, and he did nothing; and then the schools, the press, the Jews, and so on, and he was always uneasier, but still he did nothing. And then they attacked the Church, and he was a Churchman, and he did something - but then it was too late."

"Yes," I said.

"You see," my colleague went on, "one doesn't see exactly where or how to move. Believe me, this is true. Each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for the one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow. You don't want to act, or even to talk, alone; you don't want to "go out of your way to make trouble." Why not? - Well, you are not in the habit of doing it. And it is not just fear, fear of standing alone, that restrains you; it is also genuine uncertainty.

"Uncertainty is a very important factor, and, instead of decreasing as time goes on, it grows. Outside, in the streets, in the general community, "everyone is happy. One hears no protest, and certainly sees none. You know, in France or Italy there will be slogans against the government painted on walls and fences; in Germany, outside the great cities, perhaps, there is not even this. In the university community, in your own community, you speak privately to you colleagues, some of whom certainly feel as you do; but what do they say? They say, "It's not so bad" or "You're seeing things" or "You're an alarmist."

"And you are an alarmist. You are saying that this must lead to this, and you can't prove it. These are the beginnings, yes; but how do you know for sure when you don't know the end, and how do you know, or even surmise, the end? On the one hand, your enemies, the law, the regime, the Party, intimidate you. On the other, your colleagues pooh-pooh you as pessimistic or even neurotic. You are left with your close friends, who are, naturally, people who have always thought as you have.

"But your friends are fewer now. Some have drifted off somewhere or submerged themselves in their work. You no longer see as many as you did at meetings or gatherings. Informal groups become smaller; attendance drops off in little organizations, and the organizations themselves wither. Now, in small gatherings of your oldest friends, you feel that you are talking to yourselves, that you are isolated from the reality of things. This weakens your confidence still further and serves as a further deterrent to ö to what? It is clearer all the time that, if you are going to do anything, you must make an occasion to do it, and then you are obviously a troublemaker. So you wait, and you wait.

"But the one great shocking occasion, when tens or hundreds or thousands will join with you, never comes. That's the difficulty. If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and the smallest, thousands, yes, millions would have been sufficiently shocked ö if, let us say, the gassing of the Jews in "43" had come immediately after the "German Firm" stickers on the windows of non-Jewish shops in "33". But of course this isn't the way it happens. In between come all the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you not to be shocked by the next. Step C is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D.

"And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush in upon you. The burden of self deception has grown too heavy, and some minor incident, in my case my little boy, hardly more than a baby, saying "Jew swine," collapses it all at once, and you see that everything, everything, has changed and changed completely under your nose. The world you live in ö your nation, your people ö is not the world you were in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed. Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way.

"You have gone almost all the way yourself. Life is a continuing process, a flow, not a succession of acts and events at all. It has flowed to a new level, carrying you with it, without any effort on your part. On this new level you live, you have been living more comfortably every day, with new morals, new principles. You have accepted things you would not have accepted five years ago, a year ago, things that your father, even in Germany, could not have imagined.

"Suddenly it all comes down, all at once. You see what you are, what you have done, or, more accurately, what you haven't done ( for that was all that was required of most of us: that we do nothing). You remember those early meetings of your department in the university when, if one had stood, others would have stood, perhaps, but no one stood. A small matter, a matter of hiring this man or that, and you hired this one rather than that. You remember everything now, and your heart breaks. Too late. You are compromised beyond repair.

"What then? You must then shoot yourself. A few did. Or "adjust" your principles. Many tried, and some, I suppose, succeeded; not I, however. Or learn to live the rest of your life with your shame. This last is the nearest there is, under the circumstances, to heroism: shame. Many Germans became this poor kind of hero, many more, I think, than the world knows or cares to know."

I said nothing. I thought of nothing to say.

"I can tell you," my colleague went on, "of a man in Leipzig, a judge. He was not a Nazi, except nominally, but he certainly wasn't an anti Nazi. He was just ö a judge. In "42" or "43", early "43", I think it was, a Jew was tried before him in a case involving, but only incidentally, relations with an "Aryan" woman. This was "race injury", something the Party was especially anxious to punish. In the case a bar, however, the judge had the power to convict the man of a "nonracial" offense and send him to an ordinary prison for a very long term, thus saving him from Party "processing" which would have meant concentration camp or, more probably, deportation and death. But the man was innocent of the "nonracial" charge, in the judge's opinion, and so, as an honorable judge, he acquitted him. Of course, the Party seized the Jew as soon as he left the courtroom.
"
"And the judge?"

"Yes, the judge. He could not get the case off his conscience ö a case, mind you, in which he had acquitted an innocent man. He thought that he should have convicted him and saved him from the Party, but how could he have convicted an innocent man? The thing preyed on him more and more, and he had to talk about it, first to his family, then to his friends, and then to acquaintances. (That's how I heard about it.) After the "44" Putsch they arrested him. After that, I don't know."

I said nothing.

"Once the war began," my colleague continued, "resistance, protest, criticism, complaint, all carried with them a multiplied likelihood of the greatest punishment. Mere lack of enthusiasm, or failure to show it in public, was "defeatism." You assumed that there were lists of those who would be "dealt with" later, after the victory. Goebbels was very clever here, too. He continually promised a "victory orgy" to "take care of" those who thought that their "treasonable attitude" had escaped notice. And he meant it; that was not just propaganda. And that was enough to put an end to all uncertainty.

"Once the war began, the government could do anything "necessary" to win it; so it was with the "final solution" of the Jewish problem, which the Nazis always talked about but never dared undertake, not even the Nazis, until war and its "necessities" gave them the knowledge that they could get away with it. The people abroad who thought that war against Hitler would help the Jews were wrong. And the people in Germany who, once the war had begun, still thought of complaining, protesting, resisting, were betting on Germany's losing the war. It was a long bet. Not many made it."

Recently I posted to a story about progressive liberals and I been thinking about this a lot and feel like it needs to be expanded on as well as discussed by others.

Our rights as Americans have slowly been erroded by liberalism. If you think about it you will also see that we the people have allowed ourselves to be part of a world that is wrong on so many levels. We freely gave up rights because we was too lazy or too busy or whatever the reason to fight for our rights.

Back in the 70's is when liberalism seems to have taken a firm foot hold. Advocacy groups started emerging for this or that. One in particular is the child abuse advocasy groups. Now dont get me wrong. I am firmly against child abuse and it angers me to hear of a child that has been abused. But we went from one extreme to another. Now because of these groups pushing for laws upon laws protecting children, we as parents or guardians are no longer able to spank a child. Yet if you ask me thats a violation of my rights as a parent, and my rights as an American. Here is why. The word of my God tells me that if I spare the rod is to spoil the child. The bible also tells me to raise a child rightious in the eyes of God. Yet the liberals seem to think they know more than God. Laws have been enacted that if I spank a child then I am a criminal. Is that not a violation of the first amendment to the constitution. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. To tell me I cant spank a child who needs a spanking and that makes me a criminal when the word of my God tells me I must is a law that violates my freedom of religion. It infringes upon my free exercise of my religion. As an American I am responsible for anything a child in my care does. Yet as an American i become a criminal if i discipline a child.

Then liberals went after God himself. Because governments fund schools they are not allowed to even mention God in a school. Is this not athiesm, the religion of no God. Schools even been reported to be teaching about the muslim faith. How is it we are able to have athiesm and muslim in schools but we cant have God in schools. Our country was founded on the principle of in God we trust. Our founding fathers firmly believed in God. When the Bill of Rights was written and the part of seperation of church and state was put in it wasnt to remove God from government, it was to prevent one religion or another from dominating government yet liberals twisted it to suit their agenda.

If we look at the recent past we have incidents such as Columbine, Sandy Hill, and others where children went to school with a gun and killed other children. People ask where was God yet fail to understand they allowed God to be thrown out of school. Would these tragadies have happened if we was allowed to spank our children, or if God wasnt thrown out of school.

Thas what liberal progress have given us. Children are growing up with no morals so to speak of, they willingly kill other children, they think the world owes them and in effect have become liberals themselves. They have really never had to work for anything and never developed the feeling of accomplishment from earning anything. They lack morals and integrity all because the liberals felt that no one should spank a child and God had no place in our lives. They have created a total self centered generation.

Then the liberals wanted our guns. The constitution is clear. A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. Does not banning any form of guns infringe the rights granted to us by the constitution?  Are not these laws unconstitutional? The liberals have argued that we are not free states. When did that happen?

The sad part of all of this is we sat back and did nothing while the liberals wiped their asses with our rights.

You have to wonder if it is too late. I dont think it is. Many of these laws can be struck down as being unconstitutional. Laws preventing a parent from disciplining a child is unconstitutional. laws banning any guns is unconstitutional. All we really need is dedicated lawyers who are also patriots to take the fight to them. We also need patriots willing to help finance these lawyers as well as send letters and emails to our elected officials telling them they are in violation of the constitution and have broken their vow to protect it. We need people to loudly proclaim that we demand our rights.

Crony Capitalism: Obama Going for Gun Control with Tactic Used to Pass Obamacare  http://ning.it/UwGawP via @The Liberty Beacon

President Obama plans to ally himself with big business once again by using crony capitalist tactics to pass gun control just as he used them to pass Obamacare. In this case, Obama reportedly plans to make sure that the new gun control law benefits big businesses that sell weapons.

“[T]he White House is developing strategies to work around the National Rifle Association that one source said could include rallying support from Wal-Mart and other gun retailers for measures that would benefit their businesses,” The Washington Post reports.

A house divided cannot stand!

"It is discipline that wins wars." Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson of The Confederate States of America. Watch the movie "GODS AND GENERALS". Maybe y'all will learn a thing or two about how to combat the enemy which we call high taxes and massive federal spending. President Abraham Lincoln said: "A House divided cannot stand".

Only two days a member, and I aready see the problem with the Tea Party!!

There are too many groups within! It is not a united force! Yes, of course I believe strongly in states rights. That's what Mr. Thomas Jefferson fought so strongly for. But our main problem does not lie within our states at the moment. Our problem is on the federal level! With so many splinter groups within the Tea Party, no wonder nothing is getting done!!

So, there were a few Tea Party candidates elected in the last election. But come on! We should have FIRED  that cheapskate Obama and taken the Senate!!!

When are you people going to all come together for one single purpose? That one purpose should have been all along: LOWER TAXES/LESS GOVERNMENT WAISTE.

The Tea Party needs a strong National leadership with strong representation at all state levels which can reach out to all community members within their states to organize in a functional manner for one great purpose.

We should stand together as a STONEWALL against any who's selfish desire it may be to run our nation into the ground and make us servents to the United Nations and the New World Order!!!

I sincerely hope to see a drastic change within this Tea Party. If not, if we cannot unite as one, then I've a good mind to go ahead and withdraw my new membership and head uderground with my family!!!!!!
