I am having trouble posting blogs with the word "document" in it. For some reason the editor changes it to do**ment. Trust me, I do spell better than that. The site admin needs to look into the glitch and get it fixed. I haven't noticed any other creative misspeeeellllling but it probably is there somewhere. Come on guys my writing is bad enough without help from the editor.
Well, I have pondered the statement made at the DNC about all of us belonging to the government. No matter how perversely I try to spin it, there just ain't no way. This is perhaps the clearest comment to date about the direction the Democrats want to take us. We are all to be good little unthinking drones in the great government machine. We will perform our assigned jobs without comment. We will eat what they give us and be thankful for the government benevolence. We will wear what they give us and rejoice that they have consented to clothe us. We will give up our personal transportation and use public transportation even when it is non-existant. We will bow and scrape whenever the power elites are in our presence. We will forsake our Christian heritage and pray to the great God(s) in Washington.
NO THANKS! I would rather die than submit to this abomination called democracy. I was born into a Constitutional republic. I want no dealings with a democracy (mob rule) or a dictatorship.
I belong to my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. If this offends you, get used to it. I am not going to change at this stage of the game. As for the government, they belong to ME and the millions like me. I subscribe to the original structure given to us in 1785. GOD is supreme. The sovereign people are next in the heirarchy. The Sovereign States are next and the federal government is at the bottom of the barrel. The federal government and its minions and bureaucrats and politicians are totally "owned" by the people. We, in the form of the founders, created the federal government. It did not create us. We gave it it's limited powers and reserved the remaining rights and priviledges to ourselves and our States. The limited powers were explicitly defined in the Constitution. The words contained in that great document mean the same today that they did in 1785. Creative interpretation of those words is anathema to patriots. Plucking powers from thin air under the guise of being Constitutional is what got us in this mess. It is time to pressure our representatives and senators to pass legislation to curtail the executive powers. No more Executive Orders. If the president needs additional power and authority to perform his or her job, let them go to congress and get the laws changed. Any major change in the balance of power must be by way of Constitutional Amendment. Otherwise, the Sovereign States must nullify and interpose, rendering the act null and void.
We have been slowly turned into a nation of sheep. We are dominated by a federal 800 pound gorilla. It does as it damn well pleases. The people are a minor annoyance. Oh we are courted at election times but do we really elect who we want. No. We pick from a very short list of "approved" candidates. What is the difference between our current system and the old Soviet Union? Very little. At least the Soviets were up front about their usurpation of liberty. Here it is slowly eroded by sneaky, slippery bureaucrats. The end result is the same. We all end up "working for da man!"
This election, I will cast my vote for a thrid party write-in. Please don't castigate me for "helping OBAMA." I don't buy in to the "lesser of two evils" rhetoric. I doubt my vote will have an impact, but at least I will sleep knowing I stood for something other than "more of the same." And contrary to what everyone will tell you. a third party candidate can win in a three-way race. All it takes is for enough real partiots to proclaim "ENOUGH! WE WILL NOT BE DUMPED ON ANY LONGER BY THE WASHINGTON POLITICAL MACHINE!" This election has already been decided in some back room. The game is the same, only the players may change. Thankfully, I am old enough I may be spared the sight of our country being trampled in the dirt and garbage of world history. I pity people who are raising children. Their world will not be pretty or happy.

The Democratic Political Party is in big trouble, they've exposed themselves who they really are an oh, how transparent they've become. No more can any Democratic Party politicians and their supporters get away with flowery lies to cover up who and what they by their very own words and actions. In case you missed it, this week at the Democratic Party Convention, not just Americans, but also the whole world got a chance to see what the Democrats believe in and they proved themselves that they are nothing less than God of the Bible haters. It's not that Democrats are the only ones who have an ownership of hating God, no... there are certainly Republicans also who make money their god, are Atheists, or just plain “old fashion” God haters as well and we know that Mitt Romney believes in a different god than God of the Bible. Republican Party members though mentioned “God”/“god” on a few occasions during their convention, but the Democrats... Oh the Democrats … They purposely left God out of their platform and when there was public knowledge by the Democratic Party leaders that this issue might cause loss of votes for Obama, they then tried to quickly shove God back into their political platform, and that did not go over to well with the majority of the Democratic delegates. I watched in horror as despite repeated shout downs from the Democratic Party delegates to prevent “God/god”, being eventually forced back in the party language..all with a loud and obviously hateful boo's amongst those attending.
I cannot help but see the blackness of the hearts of those Democrats who hate God. Their ugliness really shows itself and more than I, God see's their wicked hearts also and that's what causes me alarm. The brazenness of the God hating Democrats is not going to go unanswered by God Himself-guaranteed. God is going to continue to bring judgment upon our nation and He has certainly allowed the Democrats to be viewed by many so that the whole world will say after disaster comes upon us, those people around the world watching will say “America was once a great nation, but the people there not only forgot God in their arrogance, but they cursed Him also. Truly God lives and he keeps His promises to bless those who love Him and curse them that hate Him. The Americans deserve their disaster.”
Indeed there will be judgment against the Democrats for such an idiotic belief as removing God from their political platform but before you might get comfortable or even take delight with the idea that there will be judgment against the Democrats, know this---God will also judge those who do not take Biblical righteous action in removing that same evil as well. Right now, as you are reading this blog article, there are men and woman politicians, judges, lawyers, cops, those who get our hard earned tax dollars like CPS workers, Domestic Violence Program workers, and others who know not God nor fear Him or His righteousness... and are also this very minute-engaged in purposeful evil activities without any fear of God or His people. Until recently, there has been little in the way of Consequences upon our land from those who have their hand in evil and those who turned their head away from confronting that evil which includes over 70 million aborted babies, the allowing and promotion of homosexuality, Islam, Feminism, divorce, “legal” child human trafficking by our government, and as well a whole host of other evils and now the consequences have started against the God haters and those who ignore that evil.
Certainly “the Church” will be judged first.... so that means that all the “itchy ear” preachers such as the Osteen's, Warren's, Hinn's, as well as church denominations such as the Presbyterians, Episcopalians and others will be zapped right along side the Democrats. That's right, I said “zapped.” It's not just the Democrats we should all not stand near within 500 feet of, for there will be others who will be struck by “lightning” who in their own arrogance will be visited by God's judgment. Folks, there isn't much time left before the anti-christ makes his debut and all hell breaks lose(you ain't seen nothing yet !). People better get their “house in order” because what is coming according to the Book of Revelation will make the strongest of hearts-faint. This very minute is a time to put your gear in reverse if you are engaged in evil doing or in the habit of looking the other way when evil occurs. Indeed, repentance is the call of the hour.
Democrats and others who hate God and His ways beware ! God loves you but He hates your evil and His judgment is at your door. His patience is wearing thin as obviously seen by all the problems our nation suffers and in fact, the Judgment upon our land and people is here and about to get much, much worse without true heart repentance to God. My advice to you is that the fear of God is a good thing. You may hate me, but hating God is a matter that can only bring disaster and a curse now, and equally dire consequences later when you die.

The October Surprise
Six weeks until the battle begins
This past March, the USS Aircraft Carrier John C. Stennis made it’s way back to the ship’s homeport of Bremerton Washington for maintenance and some retrofitting scheduled to last until late December. In early July The US Defense Department ordered the Stennis carrier battle group to speed up the process and be ready to set sail by late August.
Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta made a rare visit to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard himself on August 22nd to thank the crew for getting the ship ready four months ahead of schedule. The USS Stennis set sail from Bremerton on August 27th. Sailing out of San Diego California on September 1st was the Guided Missile Cruiser USS Mobile Bay, also called out of port four months early. The Mobile Bay will hook up with the Stennis enroute to the Middle East for what Defense Secretary Panetta said was to “ deal with any contingency that develops in the Middle East.”
Sounds like a lot of fire power but it becomes an enormous amount of fire power considering the move is to surge the U.S. 5th fleet presence in the Persian Gulf, not replace another carrier group. The Carrier Strike Group USS Enterprise and USS Dwight D Eisenhower are already in the region along with the Amphibious Ready Group USS Iwo Jima. Yet even more firepower is on the way.
On Saturday August 12th, Great Britain announced the deployment of warships to the Gulf Region for what they called a routine series of naval exercises with their allies this coming October and November. The Royal Navy’s Response Force Task Group (RFTG) was scheduled to deploy shortly after the Summer Olympics were completed as members of the RFTG were engaged in Olympic Security. The British Foreign Office issued their own press release not mentioning the routine naval exercises, stating the ships could be used if needed to evacuate British Citizens from Syria and other countries. There are very few British Citizens left in Syria as a travel warning was issued to British Citizens over a year earlier in April 2011. At that time the Foreign Office urged British Citizens not to travel to Syria and to leave on available commercial airlines.
Earlier today on Friday September 7th, Canada announced it was closing its embassy in Iran and ordered all Iranian Diplomats and their staff to be out of Canada within five days. The announcement was not made until the Canadian Diplomatic Staff in Iran had already left the county to insure their safety. This is a move Canada would surely not have made without first consulting with the U.S. Government or being forewarned of a pending event.
The Council on Foreign Relations estimates Iran could have a nuclear weapon before U.S. President Obama completes his first term in office. President Obama, moving to quell his military and pro Israeli critics has said he will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. His support amongst Jewish voters has slipped extensively since 2008. The announcement by Tehran that they have manufactured a nuclear bomb would cause a major drop in support for the President’s reelection effort and almost insure his defeat. Yet, other Nuclear watchdog groups including the IAEC estimates Iran is still two to three years away from having the capability to construct a nuclear bomb.
It doesn’t matter what the intelligence says. The man who accused President George Bush of manufacturing false intelligence information to invade Iraq is about to do the same thing himself in Iran.
So get out the popcorn because in about six weeks our President is going to go on national television and make his case based on intelligence information that says we clearly could not wait any longer. Of course he will use the term “American Forces, along with our allies…” Can’t make it seem like it was only an American idea.
We know what the true intelligence says: Mr. President, you are losing the election. Better try and divert everyone’s attention from your poor leadership, your no jobs policies, your government intervention, your massive spending debt and your community killing policies of the EPA. “Good idea Mr. Axelrod, what country do you think I should attack?”

The latest Labor Department report shows that job growth in America slowed abruptly in August. Economists expected payrolls to increase by 125,000, but instead, new hires rose by only 96,000. That is not enough to keep up with population growth, much less brighten the picture for millions of out of work Americans. The unemployment rate dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent, but that was due to the large percentage of the American labor force that has given up trying to find work.
Over the past three and one half years, America’s economic growth has been tepid at best, with a jobless rate that has remained above 8 percent for more than three years. That is longer than any period since the Great Depression.

The latest bad news about the American economy has dealt yet another blow to Barrack Obama’s re-election chances.
When Obama and fellow “progressives” Democrats held un-opposable majorities in the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, they passed a $787 billion stimulus package that they promised would “save or create” millions of jobs and keep unemployment below 8 percent. They told Americans that if the stimulus passed, unemployment today would be down to 5.4 percent.
Neither has happened.
This is why the disappointing jobs report diminishes the nomination acceptance speech Obama gave at the Democratic National Convention.
After three and one half years of economic stagnation, a minority of Americans still believe a litany of unfulfilled promises recycled from 2008 presidential campaign speeches.
Desperate “progressive” assertions that “It could have been worse” can easily be countered with “It could have been better without all that spending and future generations of Americas would owe a lot less money” “It could have been worse” hold as much water as “I could have been rich.” Easy to say, sounds good, easy for low information/headline reading/sound-bite voters to remember. And it is impossible to prove.
Democratic “progressives” can go ahead and brush aside their candidate being reduced, at the last moment, to moving his acceptance speech into a venue that is 55,000 seats smaller than the one they originally planned to use.
The fact is, on the 2012 campaign trail, the largest crowd Obama has drawn is 14,000.
Where are the Greek columns? Where are the invitations for Obama to take his tour to European cities? Where are the females planted in the audience, fainting on cue to wow adoring crowds of impassioned, fervent believers?
Can you say phony Beatlemania?
What of the message coming out of this DNC? The only people who believe what was being said in Charlotte NC are the remaining low information/headline reading/sound-bite voters who believed what they were told back in 2008. Obama having to relocate his speech to a smaller arena shows that today there are fewer “true believers.”
It was a disorganized, mishandled convention where thousands of “progressives”, while on national television, booed reinstating God and support for Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol into the “progressive” Democratic Party platform.

Members of the “progressive” Democratic Party should start getting used to hearing the words: “President Mitt Romney.”

Have you ever wondered what is meant by the term ‘public servants?’ I suppose these days it depends on who is either using or misusing the term. If you look at any of the signers of the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. Constitution, you will see men who believed in public service. And I will show you examples of this. I have absolutely no doubt the founding fathers of this nation knew what the term meant: to serve the public for the greater good; public servants. But what is today’s meaning? As I have shown in other treatises about the Legislative and Executive Branches, our politicians are extremely self-serving. They concern themselves with the aggrandizement of their bank accounts by trading stocks using classified information, they take money from lobbyists, they believe in nepotism even though House Ethics Rules forbid the practice and there have been earmarks where Congressmen have made vast sums of money at our expense. There have been incidents such as Watergate and Iran/Contra, plus there have been organizations like the Suite 8F Group. All of these examples have been of our present day public servants, but they only served themselves. I believe our illustrious, or should I say lusterless politicians believe public servant means something altogether different, such as the public as servants; public servants. The term public servants isn’t really a double entendre, but it has been perverted into just that; a term with a double meaning, which when used by our smiling two-faced professional prevaricators, has rendered us all into nothing more than offal on the slaughterhouse floor, to be devoured as carrion by our vulture-like politicians. I suggest we take a look at some of our forefathers and find out just what it means to be a public servant.
I found something interesting on a blog called Dover Beach. John Adams wrote, “Public business…must always be done by somebody…If wise men decline it, others will not; if honest men refuse it; others will not…Integrity should be preserved in all events…through every stage of his existence. His first maxim should be to place his honor out of reach of all men[ii].” John Adams does make me ask a few questions. Do our elected leaders today have this same belief? Are our leaders in any way wise or honest? Do they have integrity or honor? One might think that as the most powerful nation on the planet, the answer to these questions would be an unequivocal yes. Unfortunately, just the opposite would appear to be true. Our elected leaders are only wise in their deception to the public and their honesty is always a matter for debate. As far as integrity and honor, I seriously doubt you can have either if you aren’t wise and honest, but I would state our politicians possess neither. But there isn’t a reason to go over the dirty-laundry list of our politicians again; I would simply direct you to read some of my other treatises or read whatever you can find on our leaders of today, then you can answer the question yourself. This is more about the founding fathers of this nation and their beliefs with regard to public service, so we will know exactly what it is to serve the public. We can easily look back at history and state with certainty, the founders were an extremely wise and honorable group of men, who possessed a great deal of integrity and honor. All one really needs to do in order to know this is read the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution and they will come to that conclusion. John Adams finished his thoughts for the most part with these words, “In order to do this he must make it a rule never to become dependent on public employments for subsistence. Let him have a trade, a profession, a farm, a shop, something where he can honestly live, and then he may engage in public affairs, if invited, upon independent principles.” I cannot fathom in this day and age, a politician who isn’t a career politician; much less one who has undertook public affairs upon independent principles. Certainly some have been quite successful before they entered public office, but we see these people feeding from the public trough for twenty, thirty years at a time, while gorging themselves at the cost of our nation’s wealth and well being. And they consider themselves to be righteous! No matter how much they have, they want more and actually increase their net worth while in office at an astronomical rate. This isn’t public service, it’s gluttony and avarice.
Justice is the end of government. It is the end of civil society. It ever has been and ever will be pursued until it is obtained, or until liberty be lost in the pursuit.

As I was reading George Washington’s first inaugural address, it made me think about what was just written about John Adams and his beliefs regarding public service. While it may seem as though I am actually going backwards, from the 2nd U.S. President to the 1st U.S. President, I believe what George Washington said in his first address simply underscores what John Adams averred. George Washington stated, “Since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained[iv].” Washington’s ardent belief that man is perpetually bound by his association to the truth through the immutable bond between his virtue and his happiness, his moral obligation and his circumstance, his generous course of action and the blissful rewards of his office, reminds me of Adams when he spoke of wisdom, honesty, integrity and honor; without these four maxims which Adams spoke of so fervently, there can be no truth which Washington spoke of so eloquently. As our first President, Washington knew this new nation would rely on his wisdom, honesty, integrity and honor, and his duty as our first President relied on truth to the people. His reward was not only his happiness but the divine advantage given to him by the people and by God. Washington was happy to serve, he sought nothing more than the opportunity to be a public servant in a prosperous nation of people, “When I was first honored with a call into the service of my country…the light in which I contemplated my duty required that I should renounce every pecuniary compensation…I must decline as inapplicable to myself any share in the personal emoluments…and must accordingly pray that the pecuniary estimates for the station which I am placed…be limited to such actual expenditures as the public good may be thought to require.” I cannot say it enough times; George Washington’s only desire was to serve the public. His reward was the honor of the office itself; he eschewed any monetary compensation other than the expenses which were appropriate in relation to the Office or greater good of the nation. I realize there are politicians in this day and age who receive no more than $1 for their service, which is admirable. I can only believe they are not only fans, but followers of our forefathers. Men like Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison truly believed leadership was best accomplished by being a public servant, and by being a public servant they were able to lead by example.
I would like to take a moment and speak about the 5th President of the United States, a man who is considered to be the last founding father of this nation who was President, James Monroe[v]. Monroe had a long history of public service to this nation; his final service was obviously as the President. Just prior to Monroe’s departure for Europe after being appointed as Minister to France in 1794, he gave his nephew some advice which gives us some insight into Monroe himself, “You may by your industry, prudence, and studious attention to your business…advance your fortune and reputation in the world, whereby alone your happiness or even tranquility can be secured[vi].” I believe Monroe was telling his nephew that only through the careful and diligent application of his endeavors would he truly be able to increase his wealth and his repute or good name. And from those endeavors alone would he find happiness and the inner-peace of an honest businessman. How many men these days tell their own sons such things? Monroe then said, “Solid merit and virtue alone will support and carry you with credit through the world.” Once again, here is a man who espouses good, hard, work not only done honestly but done with a good moral center or righteousness as a mantra for a way to live a good life. But if you look at Monroe’s reasoning for telling his nephew this, you can see where public service comes into play. “The principle danger…if he errs, he inflicts the most incurable wound on his reputation, is the abuse of pecuniary confidence. Let me, therefore, warn you never to use your client’s money…for the protection of virtue, it should never be commenced.” This was really just the beginning of Monroe’s cautionary advice to his nephew with regard to vice and virtue. Monroe, like the rest of the founders, believed that virtues were Heavenly as vices were not. The belief that a man’s reputation was his name meant everything. If one was to get caught with their hand in the so-called cookie jar the lack of confidence in the man and his name would simply be irreconcilable. This all goes right back to George Washington and trust, John Adams and wisdom, honesty, integrity and honor. Without any of those five traits, there is no virtue, no good reputation and certainly no happiness or tranquility would or could follow a man throughout his life. Monroe further stated to his nephew, “I would make it one of those sacred rules of my life which should not be violated.” There can be no doubt James Monroe knew any type of service to others, especially public service, cannot be done without a virtuous reputation which fosters trust. Are we able to say this of our present day politicians? Think about the seven deadly sins and the seven Heavenly virtues for a moment. Most people could name the sins, but not the virtues. Which seven do our politicians follow?

I have been asked why I write these papers. My only response can be that I find what the founders said and wrote to be extremely enthralling. That being said, and with regard to this paper, in no way do I claim these treatises are a public service of any kind. If anything, I believe they are simply a vehicle for me to express what infuriates me with regard to our government today and if these treatises actually possess anyone to think about the state of the union, if I am allowed to make that pun, I believe it is a good thing. But I cannot help but to compare our modern times and political leaders of the day with that time of our past political leaders which we call our forefathers and recognize the predominant chasm which exists between them. Truly, I believe if our politicians carried themselves in a manner akin to the forefathers of this nation, with the same passion for our Constitution and showed the wisdom and an honorable determination to lead by virtue rather than vice; perhaps I could and would be content. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
I was asked by a friend, “Why do you put your own name on these treatises rather than using a pen name? Don’t you think if they ever read this stuff you will get into trouble?” My response was actually quite simple. I told him, “Do you really think the shameless lot of bottom-feeders who are running this nation into the ground care about what I think or say? After all, I really have nothing to lose.” Certainly, any fraudulent charge could be trumped-up against anyone, but that’s nothing more than an exercise in futility. I say this because it would only tend to confirm what I write and what I claim to believe. Of course, the point is moot. After all, today’s politicians habitually speak out publicly against each other without a modicum of truth to what they say and in as harmful a manner as possible. I at least give honest examples of what I believe. Their sole purpose is to publically malign and destroy their political rival for personal and political gain. As I have previously stated, I only want people to think. But privately, I would bet they [these political rivals] are friendly sipping Dom Perignon, eating fillet mignon and lobster while washing it down with a bottle of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild together, and on our dime. I simply can’t imagine the founding fathers of this nation carrying on in such a dishonorable manner. What we witness is nothing more than a public dog and pony show which is meant to appease us, as well as divide us in a partisan manner, while they privately scratch each other’s backs and reap the abundant rewards of the dishonest lawmaker. Besides, if you look at the bigger picture, such as the way our infant-like politicians constantly bicker with each other and the odious nature of their discourse (especially during an election year), I would have to say that I’m really being quite generous.
Think about John Hancock for a minute. This man didn’t just sign the declaration of Independence, his signature was so large compared to the rest of the signers, he may as well have had a neon-sign with arrows pointing directly at him. John Hancock had his wealth, property, position, family and his life to lose. Of course, in no way am I or would I compare myself with John Hancock who I consider to be a great man and leader. So that comparison just isn’t possible. I am only trying to point out a man, a leader, who really had something to lose, but did the honorable thing despite the overwhelming risk. The vast majority of us today are a mere fraction of what any of our founding fathers were, and we should all be extremely grateful for their sacrifice, intelligence, courage, selflessness, honor, integrity and public service. We should also remember to view them as true role models.
Stop and think about what it is to really put yourself in jeopardy. Look to our troops throughout the history of this great nation who courageously put themselves in harm’s way on a daily basis, that’s public service. Or look at the fire departments throughout the nation, while people are running out of burning buildings, who risks their lives by running inside to save people and property? The firemen do and that’s public service. When there is an armed robbery or a kidnapping or any number of other violent crimes being committed, who wades in while putting themselves in danger? Someone in law enforcement does. These people have families and they have something to lose, yet they still come to the aid of others, that’s public service. And there is a seemingly endless list of other professions which also provide a public service to our nation. Are any of these people our servants? No, of course they are not. However, they are all public servants and they all do their duty which serves the public interest. How can it be that the leaders of a nation are not held in such high esteem? Personally, if I was a politician, I believe I would be offended. Yet the ordinary people of America who are in these various professions, don’t stand there telling you how great they are, they stand there and tell you how great America is. Yet our politician can’t wait to have a press conference and tell you about their exploits and accomplishments, which are nothing more than mere fantasies! So I would have to ask you, who really are our leaders?
So, after all of this has been said. Who are our leaders and public servants? Is it our forefathers, our elected and appointed politicians, or those Americans who daily risk their lives for us? The easy answer is our forefathers, there can be no doubt they knew what public service was all about; George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, John Hancock as well as every other founder who was an honest and honorable upstanding man. Then there are the regular Americans who work within the vast variety of professions who daily risk their lives or who work under conditions so deplorable that most of us would not wish it on an enemy, these people are certainly our leaders. Perhaps they aren’t elected, but they are leaders nonetheless and they certainly know what public service is. And lastly, we come to our elected and appointed politicians. What can I say? If these people had the wisdom, honor, integrity, honesty or sense of duty the size of a mustard seed I would undoubtedly fall over dead. But it would appear as though all they desire from public office is to find the lamp which holds their Djinn, so they may rub it and be granted whatever they wish. Sadly, what they wish for is the public to be their servants.
An avaricious man, who might happen to fill the office, looking forward to a time when he must at all events yield up the emoluments he enjoyed, would feel a propensity…to make the best use of the opportunity he enjoyed while it lasted, and might not scruple to have recourse to the most corrupt expedients to make the harvest as abundant as it was transitory.

I just read on one of the social network sites I belong to that Ron Paul is planning a 3rd party run for President. People have their panties in a bunch saying he will be the reason Obama gets re-elected. I have a few thoughts to share and several questions to ask on this matter. Here are some notes of the Democratic National Convention speech of former President Bill Clinton that I took in no particular order or sequence.I was asked about what I thought about it.
I responded that the best part of it was his delivery. He's a very gifted and dynamic speaker, however, rebutted the words are rather empty. In comparison with Obama's speech tonight I thought former President Bill Clinton's speech was far better, and that was surprising.
The key comment I made on Obama's speech tonight on Twitter, and I made quite a few entries on Twitter tonight you can see on the right hand side of the screen, was that Obama's secret was giving something to everyone to hear. The reality is his claim for not delivering the one thing you "hoped" he would,is that he can't be all things to all people. In his speech, he sure damn well tries. The other reality I believe will sink Obama is that in promising the world to everyone, the world will turn on him for not delivering AND being a liar at the core. Of course this is true at the root of his not being a natural born citizen qualified under the Constitution. Obama wants his own Constitution and his own United States Supreme Court.
NOTES - BILL CLINTON'S SPEECH Sept 5th,2012
President Clinton said " he hadn't learned to 'hate' the far right like the far right has learned to hate Obama". Well, Mr. President Clinton, we don't want you to learn to 'hate' Obama, we want you to learn to 'love' our Constitution more for it created the United States of America.
Pres. Clinton said "It's better to say "We're all in this together , rather than say 'your on your own". However, the definition of Obama's 'getting together', leaves your independent rights as Citizens of the United States, protected by the Constitution, run over by the masses. In America we respect each individual and that has been the source of power constraining the masses but its a "Republic for which we stand" , a Constitutional Republic.. not a pure democracy like Iraq's, or Egypt’s, or Russia's.
I am an independent advocate for the stability our Constitution provides for each and every American!
I do happen to agree w Pres Clinton that #1 Clintons release of the Glass Steagall Act was the 'release of regulation' that started the housing crisis, and #2 Mitt Romney isn't taking a stand for the Constitution.
Michelle Obama is really scared.. you can see it in her face.. and its because her husband is playing with a different set of rules... then the rest of America is playing by. Obama's not playing by the United States constitution's rules.. he's making his own constitution.
Comparing Congress's job creation and President Obama's in Pres. Clinton's job score critic? What! I thought companies and corporations hired people. I thought it was the small businesses in America that were the key to getting our economy back on track, not the Federal Government's ability to hire more people that then create a bigger burden on the people to pay for.
I thought the Federal Government was suppose to protect our borders from illegal immigrants sneaking across the border to play by their own rules? That's criminal activity.. and it doesn't create jobs it takes jobs from Americans, creates a bigger burden on our security, and does not serve as justice for all for all those people that came in the front door!
Pres. Clinton said " Obama has laid the foundation for a new modern successful economy".. I thought the foundation of our Nation was laid by our founders and framers who scribed the Constitution and included in that if you recall was "no taxation without representation"
Tax Paying Americans deserve and demand our Constitution be upheld... we deserve and demand our representatives uphold the document we sent them to Washington DC for... we deserve and demand Obama stop being coddled as a baby.. He's not a natural born citizen, he might be American, but we know he's not playing by our rules of the Constitution, and its time he learned to grow up and accept a little responsibility.
That "race card" , and that "class war-fare card" have been used, and its time to put that game away. We have a Constitution that doesn't discriminate from the greatest power you have.. and that is to cast your vote as an American Citizen! Do you know what rights your Creator has endowed upon you? Those rights are not given to you in America, but they are protected by America and our Constitution.

Now I know way the democrats are the party of jackass’s when they speack you wonder which end they are speaking out of. There is sure a lot of Bulls--t coming out of their mouths and obummer hasn’t even opened his mouth there yet. I have tried so listen to some of it but I get so angry a listening to BULLS--T that I have to turn it off.
To start with is his wife I really think she does not know to boil water without burning it. Yes she living the American dream, sucking up all the American tax dollars she can get her hands on. The word “WORK” is a very bad word to her and her husband. But I guess she does work at taking vacations, going to parities, skiing, and find other ways of spending taxpayer money I guess that is hard work.
Sandra Fluke, now if people were listening to her at the Senate hearing they would of caught the type of person she really is. It cost her $90.00 per month for birth control, you folks do the math, you can see how she’s paying for her schooling. Now she wants the taxpayers to help pay for that. You think she might be called the schools “HOOKER”.
Now I hear this stuff about fair share. That funny we do pay our fair share, I’m just waiting for them to start paying their fair share at least to start paying taxes like other Americans. There’s so many of them that haven’t paid their taxes. There a lot of them that are running off with a lot of taxpayer money it would shock people if they find out. WND wrote an Article about it about two weeks ago, it sure did make me angry about it.
These people do not believe in God, keeping my faith in God kept me alive during my time in Vietnam, I believe there’s of other guys that would say the same thing. Also the kids that are servicing today just have to ask any of them. When your in combat it doesn’t matter as for race, color or creed your bother in arms and you learn to work together because your life depends on it.
As for Israel they are proud people very polite and easy to work with. They are totally wonderful people. They also remember WWII and what happened to them and they will never forget, or allow that to happen to there people again. I had the opportunity to train some of there pilots and ground crews and I was very impressed.
I tried again to listen to the Jackass’s but the only thing that was coming out of their mouths was donkey PooP. After this so called election we need to start up this third parity and remove the left put them on a Boat that has a hole in it and ship them all out.

I believe that Dick Morris probably had the best assessment of President Bill Clinton's speech; and since he was Dick's boss during Pres. Clinton's Administration, he is very aware of Bill Clinton abilities! Today, he said, upon reflection of the previous evening, that what he saw: was President Clinton playing the role of a lawyer that was representing a client, whom he was quite aware was guilty as charged, and he was doing his best to get him off! Upon seeing Dick Morris' response, that struck a chord in my memory! Only my vision was the one that most of us, 'Southern-Folk' would agree, was the Bill Clinton of ARKANSAS Politics, whom all knew as "Slick Willy"! Former President Bill Clinton returned to bask in the national spotlight, giving the Democratic National Convention nomination speech for the current White House occupant.
Not surprising for a speech coming from someone impeached for perjury by Congress, the speech, while delivered with Slick Willie’s signature “I feel your pain” polish, was riddled with falsehoods.
While it would be instructive to do a point by point rebuttal to Clinton’s lie filled rambling, few people have the time to invest in listening to one of Slick Willie’s exercises in verbosity, much less reading a rebuttal of the entire rendering. Hence only selected portions are to be found herein.
The lies began with: “We think ‘we're all in this together’ is a better philosophy than ‘you're on your own.’”
That statement is a straw man argument, pure and simple.
Conservative Americans point to America’s long history of family, community, church and private charities, not government, successfully tending to the needs described in the phrase “we’re all in this together”. Only those with the “progressive” collectivist mindset believe relying on the private sector for solutions equates to “you’re on your own.”
Clinton then stooped to a not so subliminal ad hominem attack on Conservative Americans: “It turns out that advancing equal opportunity and economic empowerment is both morally right and good economics, because discrimination, poverty and ignorance restrict growth, while investments in education, infrastructure and scientific and technological research increase it, creating more good jobs and new wealth for all of us.”
In one sentence, he elevates “progressives” to the “morally right” position while lowering Conservative Americans to the level of being ignorant, discriminatory, and in favor of poverty. Not only is this smear factually unsubstantiated, it is carefully phrased to tug at the heartstrings of “progressive” followers.
What the sentence also misrepresents is that in reality, more Washington spending on education has only reaped diminished results. Infrastructure spending has created precious few jobs. Scientific and technological research has been far most productive and successful when done in the private sector economy. Just ask Silicon Valley, where private capital and the private sector free market, not government, created new wealth.
He then attacked Congressional Republicans with: “When times are tough, constant conflict may be good politics but in the real world, cooperation works better. After all, nobody's right all the time, and a broken clock is right twice a day. All of us are destined to live our lives between those two extremes. Unfortunately, the faction that now dominates the Republican Party doesn't see it that way. They think government is the enemy, and compromise is weakness.”
The “faction that now dominates the Republican Party” does not view government as the enemy. They view government that promotes government dependency by being too large, too expansive, too expensive, too controlling, too overreaching and too intrusive into the private lives of free American Citizens as the enemy. They do not see compromise as weakness. What they understand is that “progressives” are incapable of and uninterested in compromise. The “faction that now dominates the Republican Party” understands that bargaining with those whose negotiating position begins and ends with “what’s mine is mine and what’s your is ours” is a fool’s errand.
Clinton then returns to a “progressive” staple, the straw man: “In Tampa, the Republican argument against the President's re-election was pretty simple: we left him a total mess, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so fire him and put us back in.”
This attack employs the long term “progressive” strategy of repeating the lie that Republican policies created the economic crisis of 2008.
The Glass-Steagall Act had stringently separated commercial banking from investment banking. Its repeal contributed to the 2008 credit crisis by allowing mortgage back securities to be traded in the investment commodities market. The “progressive” left loves to blame the repeal of Glass-Steagall on Republicans. Gramm-Leach-Bliley, the 1999 law that repealed Glass-Steagall, passed in the Senate by a vote of 90-8. Thirty eight Democrats, including Joe Biden, voted for the final bill. Bill Clinton signed the bill into law.
Clinton actively favored reductions in housing market standards by government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He can also be blamed for encouraging bad loans to be made and promoting regulations that incentivized banks to make risky loans to unqualified home buyers through expansion of the Community Reinvestment Act.
The facts show that the 2008 economic crisis was a product of “progressive” social engineering in the American housing market. The constant repetition by “progressive” politicians that it was caused by failed Republican policies is a flat out lie.
Being able to lie convincingly has always been Bill Clinton’s special gift. He was in typical Clintonesque Academy Award winning form during his DNC speech.
The story continues: “The Recovery Act saved and created millions of jobs and cut taxes for 95 percent of the American people. In the last 29 months the economy has produced about 4.5 million private sector jobs. But last year, the Republicans blocked the President's jobs plan costing the economy more than a million new jobs. So here's another jobs score: President Obama plus 4.5 million, Congressional Republicans zero.”
The pork filled stimulus bill “saved jobs” in fiscally irresponsible states and communities that without a taxpayer funded bailout could no longer sustain the costs of government sector union pensions, benefits and other wasteful government spending. It did not create private sector jobs. Of the alleged “4.5 million private sector jobs” that have been created “in the last 29 months”, most are low paying jobs. The Survey of Consumer Finances found that median wealth for American families has plunged by 39 percent. Those same families have experienced an average median loss of $4,000 in income.
The Republicans who “blocked the President's jobs plan”, a plan that failed in the Senate by a vote of 50 to 49, included Democrats Ben Nelson of Nebraska and Jon Tester of Montana, who also did not support the measure. The facts show that it was the loss of those two Democratic votes that doomed the plan.
Those tax cuts “for 95 percent of the American people” were cuts in the payroll tax, which funds Social Security. For purely partisan political gain, those cuts created the illusion that workers were getting a real tax cut while defunding the Social Security trust fund depended upon by retiring Baby Boomers.
Clinton saved his most egregious lies for Medicare: “Both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan attacked the President for allegedly robbing Medicare of 716 billion dollars. Here's what really happened. There were no cuts to benefits. None. What the President did was save money by cutting unwarranted subsidies to providers and insurance companies that weren't making people any healthier. He used the saving to close the donut hole in the Medicare drug program, and to add eight years to the life of the Medicare Trust Fund. It's now solvent until 2024. So President Obama and the Democrats didn't weaken Medicare, they strengthened it.”
The truth is, obama”care”, a gigantic tax increase on all Americans, that for partisan political reasons remains hidden from voters by the institutionalized “progressive” left, robs $716 billion from Medicare to help pay for obama”care”. This was necessary because despite all the hidden taxes, “progressives” could not successfully manipulate the numbers to make it appear cost neutral without stealing from Medicare. The “progressives” then double count that money by saying it is also going to close the donut hole in the Medicare drug program. Paul Ryan’s plan takes that $716 and puts it in a trust fund that actually will extend the life of Medicare.
Clinton attacks the GOP candidates on a multitude of topics, but the most unbelievable assertion he made in his entire speech is that the current Chief Executive “is still committed to cooperation.” Barrack Obama has never been committed to cooperation.
On his third day in office, when challenged by a Republican Senator about his plans, replied: “I won.” He, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid then isolated Republicans from the legislative process by holding their meetings behind closed doors.
Why was it possible for Clinton to stand on the DNC stage and lie about the Republican Congress doing nothing? Because Harry Reid continues the lock out process, preventing a plethora of jobs and economic recovery bills passed by the Republican House from even being debated, much less voted on in the “progressive” Democrat controlled Senate.
If Americans believe in an all-powerful, manipulative, micro-managing, centrally planned big government run by liars, whose negotiating stance is “what’s mine is mine and what’s your is ours” they will vote to re-elect “progressives”. In that case, they will be co-signing America’s death sentence.
