 Britain's Climate Change: Slashing Wind, Solar Subsidies  

Next Monday, many of the world's nations will meet in Paris to begin discussing ways to hamstring their economies to fight global warming. To sanitize loose lips-Joe Biden, the summit is a big deal. For the most part, governments want to cut back emissions severely, and the best way to do that is by making energy more expensive so people use less of it. Remember, Barack nObama promised his policies would cause electricity rates to "necessarily skyrocket." But leftists also primarily target  particular sources of electricity — namely coal and any other fossil fuel. Wind and solar are all the rage among ecofascists. So it's a somewhat humorous coincidence that just before the festivities kick off in Paris, leaders in London are slashing subsidies for wind and solar, favoring instead a push toward natural gas. The Washington Post is apoplectic: "[T]he decision to cut hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of support for renewable energy at home, with a planned 87 percent reduction in subsidies for solar power, threatens to undermine Britain’s international authority, while showing just how difficult it can be for a developed nation to break a centuries-long addiction to fossil fuels." Or perhaps it could be simple economics. We support an all-of-the-above approach to energy production so long as it's the free market doing it. If the economics of wind and solar require massive subsidies to even hope to compete with traditional energy sources — and they currently do — then basic economics is going to eventually rule the day.

 Louisiana Goes Blue. Or Does It?  

Most reports suggest Louisiana Republicans suffered another blow this weekend. Not only did Governor Bobby Jindal recently end his presidential campaign, meaning his political talents won't be brought to the White House, but a conservative won't be filling his vacated seat. On Saturday, Republican Sen. David Vitter dropped the gubernatorial election to John Bel Edwards, a state Democrat lawmaker, by a 12-point margin — 56% to 44%. The sting hurts even more considering Vitter was long believed to be a shoo-in. Ultimately, however, a prostitution scandal from 2007 and a well-resonating message from Edwards derailed Vitter's chances.

          Which brings us to a few critical points. This wasn't, as some newspapers surmise, a "Republican loss" so much as it was a reflection on values. As Hot Air notes, "If you dropped [Edwards] anywhere else in the country he'd be a Republican." Indeed, The New York Times describes Edwards as "a Catholic social conservative from a family of rural law enforcement officers who graduated from West Point and served eight years of active duty in the Army." The Wall Street Journal similarly writes, "Mr. Edwards, a former Army Ranger, neutralized the usual GOP cultural advantages by opposing abortion and defending gun rights."

          We can think of a few worse candidates — like Senator Vitter. Commentator Erick Erickson points out, "Vitter was a terrible, terrible candidate. ... Republican primary voters want an actual conservative and at this point would rather go down fighting than sell out to candidates posing as Democrat-lite. Conservatives can win, but not with guys like Sen. David Vitter as their standard bearer." Most importantly, he adds, "[R]unning against Barack nObama with nothing to offer has to be done with good candidates, not men accused of paying for prostitutes' abortions."

          That's not to say Edwards is a bona fide conservative leader. The Journal notes that Edwards "was a favorite of teachers unions and the plaintiffs bar, and we'll see if he now does their bidding to roll back school choice and block much-needed tort reform." That said, Republicans demonstrated their frustration with establishment incumbents and voters chose someone they believe to be the most qualified leader, regardless of that candidate's party affiliation.  -The Patriot Post

 Princeton Ousts Woodrow Wilson  

Yet another student protest, yet another racist thrown under the bus. Except this one actually was racist — he just also happened to be a Democrat president and a father of the "progressive" movement. "The Black Justice League at Princeton had demanded that the president acknowledge the racist legacy of Woodrow Wilson and remove his name from buildings on campus, mandate 'cultural competency' courses for all faculty and staff, and provide cultural space for black students on campus," The Washington Post reports. "President Christopher Eisgruber immediately agreed to the idea of a cultural space Wednesday night, but declined to sign the demands and promised to continue talking with students about the other ideas."

          Wilson believed in a malleable Constitution and a virtually all-powerful executive. In fact, he was in many ways the originator of the elite administrative state in which know-it-all bureaucrats make thousands of decisions that solve problems in wreak havoc on our lives. He was also quite a racist. But as David Harsanyi writes, "Like most progressives of his era, Wilson wasn't merely a common racist, he embraced the pseudo-scientific eugenics that would haunt millions. After his election, he didn't only say terrible things — 'There are no government positions for Negroes in the South. A Negro's place in the corn field' — he institutionalized racism in the federal government, segregating the civil service in 1913. He personally fired 15 out of 17 black supervisors appointed to federal jobs, while his postmaster general and Treasury secretary segregated their departments. He's the only president that I know of who's ever celebrated the Ku Klux Klan in the White House."

          But you know something? We'll bet these same student protesters are big fans of Planned Parenthood, which was founded by a eugenicist by the name of Margaret Sanger. Heck, Planned Parenthood still gives out media awards with her name on them. She and Wilson were peas in a pod on the issue, but you won't hear that at Princeton.  -The Patriot Post

 TSA is Not Doing Anything to Keep Us Safe

Why the spotlight ever went anywhere else might be a matter for some deliberation, but that’s a topic for another day... For now, it’s good to know that we are finally paying attention to what’s important: our greatest enemy. Unfortunately, just talking about it isn’t enough. It’s time to take hard action. And it’s especially time to stop lying to ourselves about the quality of our security precautions. The Transportation Security Agency, formed in the years after 9/11 as a way to prevent anything like that from ever happening again, is a complete waste of money. The billions we have spent on the agency should have improved security to some degree. Has it? Then why did an internal TSA drill show that – out of 70 attempts – 67 banned items found their way past the officials?

 Congress Votes to Raid Fed’s Slush Fund to Pay for Highways  

{Bob Adelmann} ~ In its never-ending quest to spend money it doesn’t have, but not wanting to raise taxes, especially during the current election cycle... on Thursday, November 5 Congress passed a $325-billion, six-year transportation bill that is to be financed by selling off some of the country’s strategic petroleum reserves and raiding the Federal Reserve. In its editorial complaint about the bill, the Washington Post said that the bill “takes money out of one government pocket — the Fed — and puts it into another — the highway program.” The implication is that Congress should use “real” money, taken by force from the American taxpayer, whether he likes it or not, instead of using “paper” money created by the Fed out of nothing. It’s hardly a distinction. The Fed has, for the last 102 years, been a gigantic money printing press that has morphed — via “mission creep” — into the government’s largest and most invasive federal agency, with its actions affecting every financial transaction undertaken by every American every time he or she spends a dollar. Sold initially back in 1913 as the “lender of last resort” for banks that got themselves into trouble, the Fed has since the Great Depression become Congress’ “lender of first resort” when taxpayers refused to be mulcted further directly through tax increases.

 Gowdy Just Got Hit With A Lawsuit Over A ‘Serious Crime’

Peter Brown} ~ Bradley Podliska, a former staffer for the House Benghazi Select Committee headed by Trey Gowdy, accused Republicans on the committee in October of inappropriately targeting Hilly Clinton... Some Democrats pounced on the accusation to argue that the Benghazi committee needs to be shut down. Representative Adam Schiff, D-Calif., a member of the committee, stated at the time: “It’s been clear that Secretary Clinton has been the true target of this investigation, and the Republican whistleblower who has come forward only provides further evidence of what has long been evident. It’s time to shut down the Benghazi select committee.” Now, Podliska is back again, suing the panel and Chairman Trey Gowdy for responding to Podliska’s accusations in a way which he alleges defamed his character. The committee was trying to get the truth from a liar, but still got more lies. And now we have another.

A threat to freedom of speech

     {washingtonpost.com} ~ Never has American freedom of speech been attacked so flagrantly, promiscuously and on so many fronts. The most egregious examples come from campuses and Congress. On campuses, censorship proliferates as political advocacy is confined to designated spaces. In Congress, 54 Democratic senators voted last year to amend the First Amendment to empower Congress to regulate the quantity, content and timing of political campaign speech.

     There are, however, smaller, less visible and hence especially insidious abridgements of the right to make oneself heard. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will decide whether to hear such a case from Texas, where it is a crime for a retired veterinarian to share his advice with people seeking it.

     Dr. Ron Hines, 72, of Brownsville, is a licensed veterinarian with a PhD in microbiology. He is physically disabled but eager to continue dispensing his healing wisdom worldwide, which he does using the Internet and telephone. He estimates that about 5 percent of those he speaks to are in Texas. He neither dispenses nor prescribes medications. But in 2005, the Texas legislature, with time on its hands and nothing better to do to perfect the state, criminalized such electronic veterinary advice.

     Students of contemporary government will instantly understand that this was not done to protect pets, none of whom has complained about, or been reported injured by, people like Hines. Rather, the legislature acted to protect those veterinarians who were vocally peeved because potential customers were getting online advice that, even when not free, is acquired at less expense and more conveniently than that gained from visits to a veterinarian’s office.

     This is rent-seeking, the use of public power to confer private benefits on one economic interest by handicapping another interest. Rent-seeking is what the political class rewards when it is not brooding about why people think the political class is disreputable.

     Many veterinarians dispense advice on the Internet and on local radio and television programs; Hines is just a small part of a metastasizing menace. So the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, which has never received a complaint about Hines, has fined him and suspended his license in order to prevent him from piling up ill-gotten gains, which in his best year totaled $2,800.

     It is Texas lore: When people wondered why a single Texas Ranger was sent to quell a riot, the ranger said laconically, there’s only one riot. Today, the Texas legislature in all its majesty is challenged by the wee but mighty Institute for Justice. It exists to quell lawless legislators, and it represents Hines.

     A few kinds of speech — defamation, inciting violence, falsely shouting “Fire!” in a crowded theater — are not protected by the First Amendment. But governments increasingly use their power of occupational licensure — the power to regulate entry into a profession — to justify regulating speech pertinent to the occupations. This has even included restricting interior decorating advice.

     Various appellate courts have rendered conflicting decisions as to when — never, sometimes or always — occupational speech merits First Amendment scrutiny and protection. This is one of the few areas of First Amendment law on which the Supreme Court has not ruled. It has rendered decisions about speech in political campaigns and by students at various education levels, speech in signs, advertising, solicitations and video games. Even if the court remains reluctant to take notice of blatant rent-seeking through speech restrictions, the time is ripe for a clarifying ruling to give maximum protection to speech that, although related to licensed occupations, bears no demonstrable relation to a legitimate government interest in public health and safety. And the ruling should limit the latitude government has to evade First Amendment scrutiny by simply declaring that when it regulates occupational speech it is really regulating conduct.

     Tuesday’s Supreme Court decision about whether to hear Hines’s case comes as occupational licensure is spreading. And as the use of the Internet and other technologies for the practice of various professions, especially telemedicine, is burgeoning. And as all sorts of speech are being restricted almost casually.

     Chief Justice John Roberts, writing about race-based government actions (“a sordid business, this divvying us up by race”), has said: “The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.” Tuesday the court can begin saying that the way to stop the multiplying abridgements of freedom of speech is to stop them, large and small, beginning with the one preventing Hines from talking about pets.

It appears Republican Party’s ‘establishment’ so-called leaders; better known to Conservatives as Republican In Name Only (RINO) Republicans, are striving to manipulate a 2016 GOP Presidential nominee.

Just as President Obama changes the rules in government, Republican Party ‘establishment’ leaders’ changes (y)our Republican Party candidates' rules.        

Egotistical groups in the Republican National Committee (RNC), many RINO leaders on Capitol Hill, and other ‘Media’ consultants on TV News criticize you and me for (y)our candidate choices.

Individuals and/or groups of the Washington, DC based Republican Party needs to quit acting like ‘Communist dictators’ and ‘grow up’ by allowing GOP voters to determine the Republican Party nominee.

In ‘all’ Primary Elections, GOP leaders should allow GOP voters to ‘freely’ decide his/her choice candidate(s), unless a particular candidate is improper, illegal, and/or potentially an ‘embarrassment with cause’ candidate.

No GOP leader(s) should become ‘involved’ in ‘Republican Party Primaries’, converting GOP ‘solicited’ and ‘untargeted’ candidate(s) money as happened in the 2014 GOP Primaries.

As Washington based GOP leaders demand a specific 2016 Presidential nominee, Republican voters may take a pass in voting for any or all 2016 Republican Party candidates.

Illinois Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky was doing a radio interview a few days ago and she tried to make a case that was devoid of logic and any aspect of intelligence.

Schakowsky’s inane point was this…because of the recent terrorist, the recent ISLAMIC terrorist attacks in Paris…we should adopt stricter GUN CONTROL laws in OUR country.

“Obviously it is frightening for every western country, but I do want to remind you that before we killed a jihadist named Awlaki, he did a video that said to Americans, ‘Join the jihad and get guns,’ because it’s so easy in the United States of America to get a weapon. And that ought to be a chilling reminder because, aside from blowing themselves up, which is of course is not about small weapons. These people used the kinds of weapons that are still available in the United States of America. I think it ought cause us to have another consideration of sensible gun safety laws.”

In 1953 during the presidency of Dwight Eisenhower, the Muslim Brotherhood began infiltrating the federal government. It is a scheme which has accelerated rapidly under Barack Obama, a willing partner and Muslim/Marxist whose anti-American agenda includes the creation of a caliphate in the U.S.

In an outright display of support for the Brotherhood, Obama has refused to stem the infiltration of our nation by Jihadists. In fact, he has chosen to bring 100,000 to 200,000 Muslim “refugees” into the United States from Syria; refugees who can never be vetted    and whose numbers are comprised of some 85% males, aged 15-35.

Clearly bowing to the president’s bidding, the Director of National Intelligence has-incredibly to say the least-described the Muslim Brotherhood as a “largely secular organization.” The State Department issued a visa to Hazi Nour Eldin of Egypt to meet with senior White House Officials, all the while aware that Eldin is a member of Gama’a al-Islamiyya, a terrorist organization founded by Omar Abdel Rahman, the same blind sheikh convicted in the first bombing of the World Trade Center. What sort of perverse policy must the State Department embrace to allow such a meeting to take place and what was the tenor of the discussions between the Department and this obvious terrorist? Under the present circumstances could anyone investigating the State Department believe what they are told by the Obama Regime?

And Obama’s relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood has continued to grow during his years in the White House.

Obama’s principle advisor (some have even suggested co-president) Valerie Jarret has had dealings with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), going so far as to invite ISNA President Ingrid Mattson to work on the White House Council of Women and Girls which Jarrett leads. Seven years ago, Mattson offered the prayer at Obama’s first inauguration. For many, “…the hidden message behind [that] display [was] that members of the [Obama]/[leftist] establishment will continue their torrent love affair with the Muslim Brotherhood.” Mattson’s ISNA “…was founded in 1981 by Muslim Brotherhood members” and “…seeks to establish Islamic law, or Shari’ah, as the basis [of] controlling society.”

Even the President’s brother Malik is known to be in charge of finances and arms procurement for the Muslim Brotherhood and executive secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization, or IDO, which is listed as a terrorist group by the US State Department. Malik has visited the Oval Office and sat with the President, eventhough all these facts were known.

The conclusion drawn from this information is inescapable. The current administration is using multiple associations to undermine the security and well-being of the country we all hold dear. From encouraging and facilitating illegal immigration both from the Middle East and Central America, to his blatant unwillingness to close the nation’s borders, Barack Obama has turned to outright support of the terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood. And there can be no question that the chaos this administration is causing in the everyday lives of Americans is intentional. It is time our treasonous Muslim/Socialist President stand aside before the onset of civil war.

Make no mistake, the American people will defend their lives their families and their country by force of arms rather than allow a traitor and his minions to take them from us.

Crunch time is upon us all; all of us Americans, that is. The ones who believe in the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Constitutional Republic; you know, us kooks who love what made America great; the place our forefathers chose to call home and where they invested in their futures and the futures of their progeny. This crunch time includes the need to protect ourselves. This is where the 2nd Amendment comes in. Everyone reading this needs to do whatever they can politically to stop any government "official" (in reality, public servant) from taking our guns away.

This is no time to get soft on gun ownership. If anything, we need to get more vehement about lawful citizens being able to own firearms AND be able to carry them; not just have them at home for Home Invaders. What good is having a firearm at home when you are outside the home, walking around, being targeted as a chump in a gun-free zone? None. We all need to push for the NRA, Gun Owners of America, and smaller gun rights groups to get on the backs of politicians and govt. "officials"; make them see the light on how important it is for American citizens to be allowed to CARRY firearms, so that when we get caught in the crossfire of one of these "mall" shootings, we're not defense-less.

In Mali, these raving lunatics rounded up innocent people, took them hostage, and over the course of 3 hours, asked each one if they were a Muslim. To prove that they were, they had to quote scripture and verse from the Koran. If they failed the test, they were shot on the spot at close range. Put yourself in that position; I'd say it's a no-win situation. But.....if these were gun owners, not in a gun-free zone (these should be illegal, by the way), the ones lying face down in the aftermath would be the raving lunatics; not the innocent victims. The Police can never get to any scene fast enough to prevent murder and mayhem. Haven't we learned that yet?

 Petulant nObama Mocks GOP on Refugees  

In 2013, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev detonated two bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring 264. The Tsarnaev brothers were Islamist radicals and "refugees." In July 2015, five military personnel in Chattanooga were murdered by Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez — an Islamist Palestinian immigrant. In other words, refugees and immigrants committing terrorism in the U.S. is not some theoretical hypothetical. It's already happened. It happened in Paris, too — at least one attacker was a Syrian "refugee."

          But that makes no difference to the man-child in the Oval Office. Rather than assaulting the Islamofascists who commit such heinous acts, he turned his rhetorical fire on Republicans. Again. Still.

          "I cannot think of a more potent recruitment tool for ISIL than some of the rhetoric coming out of here in the course of this debate," nObama said of his plan to bring in the Islamic Trojan horse via Syrian refugees.           And another thought about this particular American in Paris. As an anti-war civilian in 1970, hanoi-Kerry met with the North Vietnamese delegation during the Vietnam War peace talks in Paris — something hanoi-Kerry has said was "borderline" legal. We think it was treason. He then came home and slandered American soldiers in Senate testimony. But by all means, let him represent our nation's interests abroad.

None of these documents -- the 1951 Refugee Convention; the 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees, or the EU's own Dublin Regulations -- grants the right of refugee status to those traversing several safe countries, and illegally crossing multiple borders, to shop for the best welfare state. Even a legitimate refugee from Syria now living, for example, in Turkey  or Lebanon, loses his refugee status by paying a people-smuggler to travel to Europe. According to international law, that refugee then becomes an "asylum seeker." However, allowing refugees into the country is not an easy yes or no decision. Especially when one considers that the U.S.’ refusal to take in Jewish refugees during the Holocaust increased the death toll by hundreds of thousands. But in the end refusing to allow the Syrian refugees into the country is a different situation and we must keep them out for our children’s safety. Generally when we’ve accepted refuges into the United States it has been after the war was over for example Vietnam U.S. military involvement in the Vietnam War ended on 15 August 1973, but refugees from Vietnam did not come to the U.S. until after the fall ofSaigon in April 1995:

        {aei.org} ~ In a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies yesterday, CIA director John Brennan made a startling admission: The Islamic State was “decimated” under George W. Bush and had just “700-or-so adherents left” following the surge in Iraq. Said Brennan: .

ISIS was, you know, pretty much decimated when US forces were there in Iraq. It had maybe 700-or-so adherents left. And then it grew quite a bit in the last several years, when it split then from al-Qaida in Syria, and set up its own organization.

ISIS can muster between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria … This new total reflects an increase in members because of stronger recruitment since June following battlefield successes and the declaration of a caliphate, greater battlefield activity, and additional intelligence.

Not content to limiting its killing fields to Iraqi and Syrian lands, and to setting up local franchises in other countries of the Middle East, South Asia and Africa, ISIL has developed an external operations agenda that is now implementing … with lethal effect.

While both al-Qaeda and the Islamic State are terrorist forces, they have different ambitions. Al-Qaeda’s principal ambition is to launch attacks against the west and US homeland…Right now, ISIL’s primary focus is consolidating territory in the Middle East region to establish their own Islamic State. So they’re different organizations with different objectives.

Unlike core al Qaeda, right now, their ISIS’ focus is not on attacking the US homeland or attacking our interests here in the United States or abroad. It’s focused intently on trying to create a caliphate now in Iraq.

Just a day ago, Barack Hussein Obama, in the wake of the terrorist attacks, the well-orchestrated terrorist attacks in Paris, threatened to veto any legislation passed by congress aimed at providing improved and stricter screening for any Syrian refugees trying to gain entry into our nation.

The threat from Obama is in regard to a bill that would impose FBI background checks and sign-offs by high level officials upon Syrian refugees before they would be able to set foot on American soil. Obama’s statement made his intentions quite clear.

Obama said that the proposed legislation would create… “significant delays and obstacles” for the existing vetting program.

Here’s the rub…

Fellow Americans, after 14 years of cover-up, now we know that 9/11 was an inside job, done by the bush administration; it was done to get the support of the American people to invade Iraq. The 2003 American invasion and occupation of Iraq created the pre-conditions for radical Sunni groups, like ISIS, to take root. The US under George W. The U.S. occupation caused vast unemployment in Sunni areas, by rejecting socialism and closing down factories in the naive hope that the magical hand of the free market would create jobs. Under the new U.S.-backed Shiite regime, working class Sunni’s lost hundreds of thousands of jobs and the upper class Sunni’s were systematically dispossessed of their assets and lost their political influence. Rather than promoting religious integration and unity, American policy in Iraq created sectarian divisions and the fertile breeding ground for Sunni discontent, from which Al Qaeda in Iraq took root. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) used to be Al Qaeda. After 2010 the group rebranded and refocused its efforts on Syria.

The ramification of the U.S. Middle East wars is this huge human catastrophe 1- The destruction of the Middle East countries economic infrastructure. 2- Millions Of innocent people killed. 3- The development of terrorist forces against the west invaders that destroyed their countries. 4- The exodus of millions of people from the Middle East to the EU; the millions of refugees is the worst of the 21st century. The so-called “War on Terror” should be seen for what it really is: a pretext for maintaining a huge U.S. military force. The two most powerful groups in the U.S. foreign policy establishment are the Israel lobby, which directs U.S. Middle East policy, and the Military-Industrial-Complex, which profits from the former group’s actions. Since George W. Bush declared the “War on Terror” in October 2001, the war has cost the American taxpayer way over 7 trillion dollars and thousands of our soldiers lives; but, the ones that profit from the wars are the Washington’s military elite. In fact, more than seventy American companies and individuals have won up to $27 billion in contracts for work in postwar Iraq and Afghanistan over the last three years; according to a recent study by the Center for Public Integrity. According to the study, nearly 75 per cent of these private companies had employees or board members, who either served in, or had close ties to, the executive branch of the Republican and Democratic administrations, members of Congress, or the highest levels of the military.

We the people of these United States are tire of military interventions and undeclared wars; our real enemy is Washington and this corrupt system of governments that supports the agenda of the oligarchs and sends our soldiers to fight wars to protect the interest of the US predator corporations. The agenda of the one world order is the dream of the oligarchs, they want to control the world’s natural resources and the world’s economic at the expenses of the thousands of American soldier’s lives and the millions that are killed because America’s imperialist colonization agenda. Do not let money corrupt our system of government; this government is buying people to deceive the American people and cover up the truth as reported by experts that know the truth. WHY is Kerry and Obama allowed to remain in office, and Hillary hasn't even been indicted is anybody's guess.

Will House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the moderate-machine simply scream and FEIGN outrage as they present "bills"; only to get vetoed by Obama, and only to CAVE IN yet again -- when the left's media SUPER PACs start yelling "GOVT SHUTDOWN!!!"?

Why wouldn't this be the scenario?  It has been only every single time so far.

What would've been SILLY for me to even bring up is to even "hope" that the democrats would stand on the side of the SECURITY AND SAFETY of AMERICAN CITIZENS, and override an Obama veto.  Nope.  The dems are loyal to their agenda.  Everything else are just "SET BACKS"!
