denigrating and reprehensible attitudes reflected by our representative's

from both side's of the political spectrum in their almost complete abandon

of their constituent's wishes and their adamant demands to effectively

legislate their responsibilities. At times it seems as all have completely

no common sense nor concern for even a realization of the most primary

pretense of right or outright rebellion and lawlessness!

I find it so amazing, that in total, the entire Legislative and Executive
Branch membership have become so unaware that any individual is
to be required to answer for their actions. This is absolutely contrary to

every established authority under GOD! To those whom more has been

given, more will be required. It always has been so simple. And it always

is to those who know their GOD. I would hope that all would give some

serious consideration to my request.

Normally you would be receiving one of my blogs about Obama this, Obama that and did you know kind of information, but tonight something inside me said it’s time to do something positive like the TPN did in 2010.

It’s time to do more than kick the same political crap back and forth to each other with our comments, solutions and possible cures. So what one thing could we do that would rock Obama back on his heels and make him gasp for air?  Here’s the deal – hope you all agree with my plan and let’s join together and pack Obama and Michelle’s bag and send them off with a canoe and paddle, because they surely hate Americans all Americans including the African American Community. 

Let me preface a few things – we all know it’s not the color of one’s ski that makes the man.  In 2008 we were thrown a big curve that we must partially assume responsibility for – we weren’t exactly engaged in 2007 and 2008. One man running for President in 2008 was a non - descript person with a fancy teleprompter and no past. The other person was an old dog who had been in the political arena too long and succumbed to the addictions of politics – he was what we refer to as a member of the Old Republican establishment.

So back to what we can do to give Obama a grand send off.  It’s time to get off our duffs and join our Conservative African Americans who believe in the Constitution, secured borders, a strong Military, small Government and total transparency.  Like us they’re fighting for their lives, the lives of their children and grandchildren.

There’s a rumble in the streets that is starting to finger Obama for his devious class warfare tactics. Just when Obama thinks he has the black community wrapped around his little finger some very prominent black American patriots are notifying their brothers and sisters that he is the problem not the solution.

Starr Parker, a great African American Patriot doesn’t mince words. Star has created the Black Pastor network and hundreds of pastors are joining her to “Take Back Our Country.”  She says, Help me build the Black Pastor Network and protect American exceptionalism! We can all help Starr by posting her website, blogs and speeches to Conservative sites all over the Nation.

How low will they stoop, the Obama Administration that is – Joe Biden sent me another email crying the blues pleading, crawling and begging for $3.00. Joe said, “ in the last two weeks of this month, Romney and his allies had an almost 2:1 spending advantage in Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Virginia -- and that could be the election right there.”  Wow, as if I’m going to lose sleep over his Joe’s dilemma. Joe needs to find a new doghouse for he’s about to loose his bone. 

Valerie Jarrett made an absolute fool of herself when she spoke with the NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists.)  Cornel West and Tavis Smiley thought she was insincere and phony as a $3.00 bill parroting a sick message from Obama about his
genuine love for black people.  One journalist just rolled their eyes asking Jarrett this question, “Why not just send a [campaign] video?”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz struggles trying to defend Obama’s comments “That you didn’t build that – she says businesses misinterpreted and took Obama’s statement out of context. Debbie what about his remark that the “private sector is doing fine?”  Anyway the news on the streets from the National Journal is she’s about to get the Obama boot – Shultz has been a thorn in the Democrats side since she was hired to be their mouthpiece.

Nancy Pelosi is the two cents queen who just can’t stay out of the political spotlight – you know the one that told the whole World that Obamacare must be passed so we can read what’s in it. The one who scammed about 30 millions of dollars from taxpayers to create a little haven for her “tit mouse” or “salt marsh harvest mouse.” Pelosi’s just claimed that President Obama “has been to Israel over and over again.” Not on our watch Nancy, not even once since his inauguration!

The one who hands out waivers on Obamacare like they were free tickets to the zoo and the person’s whose brother-in- law received an incredible amount of our money for another dirty green scam. Well, in a last minute ditch movement to revive her image she gets in on the Chic-Fil-A controversy tweeting that she likes Kentucky Fried Chix.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, the Democratic leader of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said it appeared someone within the White House may have been responsible for leaks on America’s ongoing cyber war with Iran and an Al Qaeda plot to take out a commercial plane.

In response to Feinstein’s statement Obama says he has a handle on the cyber war situation and will have Holder and his buds investigate it. Isn’t that the same thing he did on the Fast and Furious gunrunner operation? It’s called sweeping it under the rug friends – Holder is still the AG and Obama is still the President there’s definitely something wrong with this picture.

Nothing new in the Democratic camp, same old lies, political rhetoric and vicious Liberal Media gossip, but wait there’s something stirring in the wind that proves Obama is desperate and struggling in his campaign; hejust got put on life support. 

First the Democrats gave themselves an infusion for their Convention; they’ve decided to add “gay marriage” to their sagging party platform hoping to buy some more gay votes. The really big change in their party platform is President Bill Clinton has been asked to deliver the major speech at the Convention in an attempt to revive Obama’s Democratic fallout. Me thinks – the DEMS just hung themselves on this one. 

Clinton already has set the stage in his 2007 comment on PBS about how many Presidents have been elected after serving such a short time in the Senate. This was one of the most important messages that Americans received in the history of our Country and we just ignored President Clinton. This year President Clinton acknowledged that Mitt Romney actually passed the qualification threshold for President due to his business expertise. Bill was right on both issues and his honesty has him with a 67% approval rating compared to Obama’s 44% - not bad for an ex pres folks.   

So what will Bill Clinton do to prepare as the major speaker at the Democratic Convention?  2016 is etched all over his forehead and yet he’s being asked to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear (President with no record.)  His only alternative is to wine and dine Americans as only Clinton can do and give Mitt Romney the “roast” of his lifetime.

One such case involved the charge of falsehood leveled against the professional journalist, David Pipes.  Pipes had published an article entitled, “Was Barack Obama a Muslim?” on Christmas eve of 2007.

In response, Media Matters for America attacked him, charging him with publishing falsehoods.  Pipes responded in an article entitled, “Confirmed:  Barack Obama Practised Islam” on Jan. 7, 2008.

Media Matters for America claims to be an organization dedicated to exposing and correcting errors promoted by the media which serve the conservative agenda.  Evidently the 501©(3) non-profit is not concerned with errors promoted by the media which serve the liberal agenda — but that is another story.

Pipes in his Jan. 7^th piece successfully rebutted the charge leveled against him.

But the story here is who is behind Media Matters for America, and why were they so sensitive to the issue?

According to Wikipedia, the New York Times reported that Media Matters for America was financed in March of 2004 by a group of wealthy liberals, with help from the newly formed Center for American Progress.

The Center for “American” Progress

The Center for American Progress, according to the same online “encyclopedia,” was founded in 2003, and is secretive about its sources of funding, for good reason.  According to Wikipedia:

The Center has no information on its website about its funding, but the Washington Post reported that “seed money pledged by such deep-pocketed Democrats as financier George Soros (and mortgage billionaires Herbert and Marion Sandler)” assisted its formation.[8] The authors of Her Way, a biography of Hillary Clinton, also assert that the Democracy Alliance, a progressive donors collective, has funded the Center. They also assert that the Sandlers and Soros provided seed money.[9]

So as early as late 2003, it can be surmised that George Soros was preparing the Obama campaign, and creating and funding organizations which would serve in the information war to spread disinformation.

The Center for American Progress has a multicultural staff.  According to Wikipedia one of its major projects is publishing,

… a daily email newsletter entitled The Progress Report, which is a recap and analysis of major political news in the United States, providing a progressive perspective on the day’s stories. The authors are Faiz Shakir, Amanda Terkel, Satyam Khanna, Matthew Corley, Ali Frick, and Benjamin Armbruster.

Another principal project of the Soros funded organization is pushing the Global Warming agenda, by means of publishing,

a daily global warming blog called Climate Progress. Edited by climate and energy expert Joseph J. Romm, the blog discusses climate science, climate technology solutions and political news related to climate change. It is a project of the Center for American Progress Action Fund. In April 2008, TIME magazine named this blog one of the “Top 15 Green Websites”, writing that it “counters bad science and inane rhetoric with original analysis delivered sharply…. Romm occupies the intersection of climate science, economics and policy…. On his blog and in his most recent book, Hell and High Water, you can find some of the most cogent, memorable, and deployable arguments for immediate and overwhelming action to confront global warming.”[11] In March 2009, Thomas L. Friedman, in his column in The New York Times, called the blog “indispensable”.[12]

The third major project of Center for American Progress is to create and promote the modern equivalent of the communist student organization from the 60′s, the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).  The project is advanced with the name, “Campus progress,” and has the following purpose according to Wikipedia:

Campus Progress, launched in February 2005, is the Center for American Progress’s comprehensive effort to help young people make their voices heard on issues and to empower new generations of progressive leaders. Campus Progress is active on over 500 U.S. campuses and in communities across the United States.

And Campus progress was an early bird on Obama promotion, according to the same article:

The second annual conference, held on July 12, 2006, in Washington, featured Senator Barack Obama, and was attended by over 1000 students from 48 states.

It just goes to show you that the Socialists were planing and working for years for the Obama revolution, and that all that grassroots ground-swell for Obama in 2008, was merely carefully planned and engineered foreign influence funded by the Greek socialist, billionaire, George Soros.

But let’s not forget Think Progress!

Last, but not least, the Center for American Progress editor, Faiz Shakir publishes a blog called Think Progress, according to Wikipedia.  Think Progress is one of the most influential pro-Obama sites on the internet, implicated as the origin of much of the propaganda pushed by Obama’s internet “helpers,” who are rather the modern equivalent of Hilter’s Brown Shirts, since they operate on fora all over the net to harrass, insult, demean, and otherwise badger American citizens who would dare think about what Obama is saying, and conclude with facts and evidence, that he is full of it.

The ThinkProgress.org site, which is run by a Victor Zapanta, was the first to put out that the Kerchner Advertorial had “racial undertones.”  Following their lead, Obama supporters round the net and in Washington, D.C., began the campaign against the Kerchner Advertorial. It was during that time that The Post & Email’s website was also hacked as has been reported. (For more reports on the Advertorial click here)

The charge that the Advertorial had “racial undertones” was a clear sign that Think Progress has a deeply seated, racial bias; for in some manner they psychologically connect chimpanzees with Obama, even though in the ad no such association exists.  In this way the liberals show that they are the intellectual heirs of 19^th century racists, whose hatred guides their perception of reality.

The participation of Think Progress in the attack on the Kerchner Advertorial is, thus, a crucial piece of evidence showing that in all probability, the White House itself gave the command to attack the Washington Times on account of the ad.

Discover the Networks, run by David Horowitz, a former leftist, now one of the far-left’s worst critics, published a detailed exposé of the Center for American Progress and Think Progress. It is a must read to understand whose behind Obama.

The Power & Money behind the Misinformation Campaign

Today the Center for American progress, whose president is John Podesta, the former White House Chief of Staff under Clinton, is heavily funded, still, by Soros and company; according to Wikipedia:

From 2003 to 2007, the center received about $15 million in grants from 58 foundations. Major individual donors include George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, and Herb and Marion Sandler.

If you trace the liberal roots further, you will find that the billionaire, Peter Lewis is the President and CEO of Progressive Insurance, whose TV ads are famous.

Steve Bing is the founder of Shangri-La Business Group; at 18 he inherited $600 million from his father who made a killing in NY realestate.  He wrote the screen play, “Missing in Action” in which Chuck Norris starred.  But his importance to the Democrats is that he is one of their biggest consistent donors, having contributed tens of millions of dollars to their poltiical efforts in the last decade.

Herb Sandler created Golden West Financial Corporation and subsequently sold its assents to Wachovia Bank for $24 billion; his take was $2.4 billion.  He is a heavy funder of strategic Democratic political organizations.

So the next time you hear that Obama was “the peoples’ choice”, ask, “Which people?”

Let's begin with the Senate Version of CISPA and a cute little gun-control amendment being attached to it:

Congress threw us peasants a bone when PIPA and SOPA were stopped. It re-emerged with a news name, the "Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act" (CISPA). The House passed their version of CISPA back in April (H.R. 3523), 248 - 158. You can find out how your Representative voted here(which should be helpful to know in the upcoming Primary).

Now the Senate version, S3414 is being fast-tracked [Side Note: How about a bill to not allow any legislation to be passed during a Lame Duck Session. Fast track that one!]. Cloture passed for the bill on last Thursday by a vote of 84-11. I think many have beaten a dead horse about why this so-called "security" bill is a huge mistake, and yet another way to indiscriminately invade your privacy no matter what security measures you have taken. By how much, no one really knows but a select few. Maybe the bill has to be passed to know what is in it. Read this for opines by Heritage Foundation regarding the bill:
"Senate Cybersecurity Bill Gets Worse the More You Read It." Even if a miracle happened, and a couple of 'compromises' were added to it (the Franken and Wyden Amendments*, it is still a grab bag of items stripping away privacy rights, rather than actually successfully protecting United State's infrastructure from cyber threats. Before moving on, if you have a Twitter account, go here ==> "Stop Cyber Spying." It is a quick way to tweet your respective Senators that you oppose S 3414.

But how do you make a bad bill even worse? By having "well meaning liberals, democrats and progressives" in the Senate add an amendment in order to protect us from ourselves for we do not know what we do. Amendment S.A. 2575, the latest attack on our Second Amendment Rights (whoops - 'Gun Control') is sponsored by Democratic Sens. Frank Lautenberg (N.J.), Barbara Boxer (Calif.), Jack Reed (R.I.), Bob Menendez (N.J.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Schumer and Dianne Feinstein (Calif.). S.A. 2575 would make it illegal to transfer or possess large capacity feeding devices such as gun magazines, belts, feed stripes and drums of more than 10 rounds of ammunition with the exception of .22 caliber rim fire ammunition. Obviously, this add-on is to take advantage of the recent horrific murders in Colorado as a way to further the gun-control agenda.

If the sponsors of this bill happen to know the following fact, they are assuming no one else does or care (unless you are one of those right-wingers 'clinging to your guns and religion!): The standard capacity for rifle magazines is thirty rounds, not ten.Furthermore, what is to prevent someone buying 10 round magazines and and practice reloading/tape two magazines together? Researching a little bit more, I discovered what is known as a "CA Legal 30-round magazine" which actually only holds a 10-round, but it can be easily converted to its original capacity. If an insane person (like the Colorado murderer) was living in California and planning on a mass murder, he could just modify it. Do we really think that any law would stop him?

Are we supposed to be gullible enough to assume creating more laws actually force criminals to finally turn over a new leaf? When you contact your Congresspersons, also point out:

• Mexico is among the top countries to that have the strictest gun control laws ~ for several years now! There have been 55,000 gun related homicides in Mexico over the last five years. In comparison, 58,000 American died during the entire Vietnam War that was waged with U.S. combat troops from 1961 until 1975.
• Within the United States, Chicago and Washington D.C. have the strictest gun laws. They do not allow any form of handgun carry. Including murder with firearms, the violent crime rate is among the highest in our country.
• In Chicago, twice as many people were murdered with firearms so far this month in Chicago than were murdered in the Aurora theater on July 20. But the Mayor is more concerned about not allowing a non-discriminating privately owned business that would bring in more jobs to the city whose CEO's personal opinions are in opposition to gay marriage. Go figure.

The National Research Council of the National Academies released a study with the aim of finding whether a causal relationship existed between homicide and gun ownership. It didn’t find one, and it said that the available research itself was lacking. "In summary, the committee concludes that existing research studies and data include a wealth of descriptive information on homicide, suicide, and firearms, but, because of the limitations of existing data and methods, do not credibly demonstrate a causal relationship between the ownership of firearms and the causes or prevention of criminal violence or suicide." In other words, none of the studies can prove causation. They merely examine the statistical association between gun availability and homicide.

United States, on a National level, the overall number of violent crimes have decreased even though we have/are going through the worse recession in history. States with liberalized gun laws have followed the national trend of decline, and there are others whose crime level has not changed. Then there are the states with restrictive gun laws where crime has either risen or leveled off, but then are others where crime has also declined.

If gun-control advocates justify their infringement on our Civil Rights - rights that are not subject to a majority vote, mind you - is crime control, there is no factual support for their reasons to reduce the power of or eliminate the Second Amendment, whose purpose is to protect our First Amendment. Gun control efforts hasn't been attributable to any meaningful decline.

So.....Gun control does not necessarily beget crime control. None of the studies can prove causation. They merely examine the statistical association between gun availability and homicide. And drug users, criminals and other "undesirable types" don't give damn about statistics.

*The Franken Amendment removes Section 701 from the S 3414. The section would provide companies with the explicit right to monitor private user communications and engage in countermeasures. The Wyden Amendmentrequires law enforcement officials to procure a warrant before obtaining location data from a person's cell phone, laptop or other gadgets.

Next Stop - Call the Senators Again About the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

"Talk to the hand 'cos the ear ain't listening " That's the impression I am getting from some of the Senators in the Foreign Relations Committee.
What I really think it means is, "I am enjoying my ignorance. Please do not ruin it by discussing facts or logic with me."

This Treaty is an affront to the basic rights of parents - see here and here. Last Thursday (July 26th), the Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted by a 13-6 margin to send the CRPD to the full Senate.

“I oppose ratifying the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. If our Reservations, Understandings, and Declarations are not air tight, the language of this treaty will severely damage the traditional role of parents with disabled children in making important decisions for their children. If they are not air tight, we could be obligating ourselves to sweeping changes in U.S. law to meet the demands of this treaty.
“And if our Reservations are air tight, and our nation takes on no new obligations under this treaty, then it makes no sense to adopt it. Our ratification will not make it any more binding on other countries, and it will not change the quality of the example we already set by domestic law. We are already leading the world. We do not need to spend the money every 4 years to ask for the U.N.’s opinion on how we are doing.
“I sincerely urge my Senator to oppose ratifying this treaty. The potential unintended consequences are too great a risk for a mere symbolic gesture.”

Several senators clearly want the CRPD to pass. Right now only a few are standing up for the rights of parents by actively opposing it. But based on today’s hearing and the word from the Hill, there are still many senators undecided on this vote. So thank you for taking the time to call. Your voice can make a tremendous difference in whether or not this treaty gets the two-thirds vote required for ratification. We only need 34 “no” votes to stop it. So please call your senators today.

Howdy all!  The week will begin in just a moment.  But first, a word from our sponsor.

Our family had a loss this past week or so.  My wife lost her step mom to leukemia.  She was doing fine until she came down with shingles, and that triggered the leukemia to end her life.  ‘Mom’ had a bunch of kids and grandkids, but Nancy treated us like her own.  What a great woman.  Tough, and kind.  She worked as a lead maid in a number of upscale mansions in the Watch Hill area of southern Rhode Island, but she never let that get to her head.  She worked hard to take care of her large family, and never let anyone go without.  God has shown us all so many times how much he loves us.  He sends us our parents, our friends, our children; all to make our lives complete and filled with happiness and love.  And he gives us responsibilities along with these gifts.  Our challenge in life is to make the best of our lives, and of those around us.  Not a mandate or a dictatorship, but a challenge and a burden which come with happiness and sadness over time.  And we make mistakes along this way, this path we take.  God knows we will, so he places help along the path to offer direction and guidance.  Nancy was such a person.  She was always there for Terri and I when we needed her.  Christ was sent to us by God to save us, which I believe unconditionally!  He also sent people like Nancy, to give us a little nudge when needed.  Thank you God for the gift of Nancy.  And thank you Nancy for all you have done for Terri, me, and your wonderful husband, my father-in-law Ralph.  May you rest in wonderful peace along Their side.

You might be asking yourself at this point that this is all history and all in the past.  The point is that their replacements are alive and well and are continuing to push socialism which is the predecessor of communism.   And why do they want to do that?  My answer is that they are intent on creating a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT wherein they are in control of the rest of us...the sheep.  They are interested in establishing a feudal type government wherein we are all enslaved without freedoms.  Capitalism may have its faults and may once in a while lift your wallet but the Socialists and the Communists have a history of terminating lives and not just taking your money which they have succeeded in doing with all of their stupid and irresponsible social programs.

History, Cronyism, Nepotism, and Affirmative Action

In the movie A Few Good Men, Jack Nicholson’s character says to Tom Cruise’s character, “You can’t handle the truth.” That is how I feel about most people inAmerica today. They are incapable of handling the truth, so they avoid subjects that will make them feel uncomfortable or issues that show their idols in a bad light.

Every person past the age of six knows the difference between right and wrong. A forty-year-old is going to have a better grasp on the subject but even your kids know when they are committing an infraction against your rules. Most Americans, Jews especially, will never speak about Hitler in a positive way unless they are just reprobate liberals. This is based on the Holocaust, which is quite understandable given what Hitler did to the Jews and many other people. Yet I don’t hear anyone telling the Jewish people to get over the Holocaust. At least no sane person is making this request.

 When Americans, especially “patriots” speak about how their forefathers fled religious persecution, they only remember how great, brilliant, and courageous the forefathers were.

 We remember at Thanksgiving how the pilgrims came over and gave thanks for their religious freedom. However, blacks were not allowed these same religious freedoms. We see the founding fathers greatness by looking at their writings and the Constitution itself, but please don’t ignore all their flaws and evildoings. Why is it so offensive to speak about this part of history? Get over yourself. We can’t just ignore history because it makes us feel uncomfortable. Slavery is a part of American history, just as is the greatness of the founding fathers.

 Most whites do not know much about American black history. The black part of American History should be taught in our schools also, and not only celebrated in February. Black history is thought of as different from American history, which it is not.

 Most Latinos, whites, and Asians have not read about what George Washington Carver did with the peanut. Carver was perhaps the greatest agriculture farmer who ever lived. He created over three hundred uses for the peanut and is credited with discovering crop rotation methods. One year, you might plant peanuts and the next year you might plant cotton. This help preserve the soil.

 According to the Great Idea Finder, ([i]) Carver was born in 1864 and “looked at ways of utilizing the sweet potato and was able to develop more than 115 products from it including flour, starch, and synthetic rubber (the United States Army utilized many of his products during World War I).” Think about what he was able to accomplish in spite of great opposition. Why are his accomplishments not taught in schools outside the month of February? If this man were white, white America would know more about him.

Every group of people, and just about every person, has a sacred cow, so to speak. What I mean is that every group or race has something that they consider off the table for debate, even if every stone has not been overturned and examined closely in order to sift for the unadulterated truth.

Black and Hispanic people get very bent out of shape if a black or Latino is offended or violated by a white. Many blacks and Latinos see racism whenever a white does something against them. Don’t waste your time telling them that this offender has offended whites in the same way. It could be that the person who committed the offense is just a bully and a butt hole, or it could be that this individual would commit this transgression to any person, no matter what their race is. Not every instance of a white perpetrating an offence against a nonwhite is racist.

 Is a man or women’s life less valuable if they are killed or violated by their own race? Far too often, blacks and Latinos manufacture racism even when their claims are preposterous. Michael Jackson came out with Reverend Al Sharpton and declared that the reason that the prosecutor was targeting him was because he was black.

No, Michael, the reason you were targeted is because you were inviting children over for sleepovers. Even ifJacksondid not molest any children, there is something wrong with a grown man inviting children to sleep over. How would you feel if a man knocked on your door and invited your children for a sleepover?

If this happened to me, after someone pulled me off the sick individual, I believe he would come to see the light of his twisted ways. People and especially Blacks worshippedJacksonlike a king despite his defiant action. I don't care if you were deprived of your childhood. Get over it, get a girlfriend, and invite her over for milk and cookies. I do believe that the parents of the children, who were allowed their children to sleep over, should be prosecuted also.

There are whites who will say that talking about the transgressions of the forefathers is something blacks need to get over. They love to remember the great things about American history, but the owning of slaves by the founding fathers is unnecessary information. “We need to move on and stop talking about this part of history,” they say. The thing that blows my mind about racist whites is, why in the hell are they so upset. They and their ancestors were the ones enslaving and lynching blacks.

How wouldAmericafeel if the hijackers of 9/11 wanted to start lynching Americans because they didn’t want to be bombed? How would Americans feel if the Japanese were upset because we were angry about being attacked atPearl Harbor? For the life of me, I can’t see why whites were so upset that blacks wanted to be free.

I also find it quite ridiculous how carefree they are about the subject. It’s human nature to want to be free. What ifBritainhad enslaved whites, refused to let them read, and broke up their families? Would they be outraged at the British government’s eagerness to keep them oppressed? This is the patriot’s sacred cow: “I dare you make any true claims about the history of our founders.”

Americans celebrate their freedom on the Fourth of July. What if blacks wanted to celebrate their freedom on January first every year? Instead of celebrating the New Year, we should celebrate the Emancipation Proclamation. Since Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, it would be quite fitting. I want you to notice that I said he issued the document, because the slaves still were not truly free.

I know some conservatives wonder why we need to use the term black history. Well, we need a way to distinguish what we are talking about. Most Americans do not talk about black history unless they are referring to the civil rights movement. You rarely hear about Dr. Charles Richard Drew, Fredrick Douglas, Sarah S. Goode, Matthew S. Henson, or Elijah McCoy. I might start a dual celebration that recognizes New Year’s Day and Emancipation Proclamation Day. How do you think that would fare with the American people?

The Latino community has a great heritage with great family structure. However, some Latinos want us to ignore how much money illegal aliens are costing this country. They seem to think that if someone loves their family and if they are a hard worker, we should pretend that they have not broken the law. Not all Latino’s think this way because many are against the illegal immigration invasion to. It is not racism if someone doesn’t want to pay for your kid’s education and health care. If I went toMexicoor any other country where a different language is spoken, I would expect to learn it.

I would not take to the streets to protest because I want all the rights of American-born citizens. This is so outrageous that it is shocking to me that anyone would try to defend illegal aliens’ rights. You broke the law. The citizens do not have a problem because you are brown; they have a problem because you broke the law and refuse to conform and adapt to our language and customs.

On the other hand, the liberal whites side with blacks on most cases that are not a clear case of racism. For instance, when Rush Limbaugh made the statement that ([ii]) "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media had been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team. Most blacks and liberal whites thought he was being racist.

 Rush Limbaugh failed to say anything about other conservatives and the liberal media that want white quarterbacks to succeed. Donovan McNabb’s numbers are a lot better than those of Doug Flutie, Vinny Testaverde, David Carr, or Drew Bledsoe. I believe McNabb has a better winning percentage than a lot of white quarterbacks that the media coddles. If someone brings Vinny Testaverde out of retirement one more time, I may try out for that team myself. I will be waiting on Rush Limbaugh’s response to the recycling of white quarterbacks.

Even in cases where there is clear racism by a police officer, white liberals and white conservatives don’t appear to be that upset. Consider the case of Byron Gillum, who was shot six times. According to a report from the Houston Press, Officer Tschirhart sent a message asking the dispatcher to find a reason for the officer to arrest Gillum "because he has an attitude." The dispatcher found nothing, so I guess Tschirhart decided to execute Gillum because he didn’t find the evidence he was looking for.

 Ida Delaney was shot by a drunk, off-duty officer named Alex Gonzales. Pedro Oregon was shot twelve times, nine times in the back. The officers took the word of a high crack addict who gave them information to bust into the residence of Mr.Oregon.

 To me, these are clear cases where the officers appear to have had a problem with minorities and used excessive force. In some cases, were the race card is played and eventually shown to be a trump card. In other cases it is a counterfeit spade.

 One incident that sticks out is the case of Tawana Brawley. Reverend Al Sharpton has yet to admit that Mrs. Brawley was lying about being raped. To my knowledge, Mr. Sharpton or Jesse Jackson was not involved in the three real racism cases. Rush Limbaugh always quotes the Tawana Brawley case because it was a fraud, but he never mentions real racism.

 Most liberal whites see blacks as inferior. In my opinion, this is why they try to give blacks handouts instead of opportunities. Instead of giving someone free healthcare and welfare, why not teach them a skill that will enable that person to be independent? “Massa” wants the slave to stay on the plantation.

 So-called conservatives are always talking about how wrong affirmative action is and how it is unfair for a group of people to receive preferential treatment based on skin color. I’m not for affirmative action at all, but I am also against cronyism and nepotism.

 Anyone who believes that all whites landed their current jobs based solely on their résumés is fooling him- or herself. I personally know of many cases where someone was hired because their daddy owned the damm company or because their daddy knew someone who owned a company. Sometimes qualified blacks and Latinos do not even get a chance at certain jobs. Whites often get jobs because of who they know. Does any idiot feel that this is an even playing field, when you have inside connection?

Many people have received contracts based on friendship, which is essentially the same as affirmative action or cronyism. I find it comical how indigent that so-called conservatives get about this subject. I don’t know if all politicians do what Tom Delay did by allegedly funneling money into Texas. However, he was convicted of money laundering. This is another way that conservatives use affirmative action to help their buddies.

 Jerry Eversole, the Harris County, Texas, commissioner, was indicted for taking bribes from a developer named Michael Surface. ABC’s undercover investigation team did a brilliant job covering this case, along with many others. Surface partnered with a company called Keystone, from which two officials were charged with bribery. Mr. Eversole’s son shared an office space with Keystone and they expect us to believe there was no cronyism involved. Please don’t insult my intelligence.

Reporting on an undercover investigation, Wayne Dolcefino wrote,

   ([iii]) Last fall we detailed Commissioner Eversole's questionable work habits and raised questions whether he improperly used campaign funds for personal benefit. While examining his work calendars, we found evidence of his favorite golf foursome. One of the players was Michael Surface, another was Leroy Hermes who was one of the architects of Reliant Stadium. Hermes got contracts at Reliant while Surface was sports corporation chairman. We also know Hermes did engineering work on the Commissioner Eversole's house. So far Eversole has refused to say how much, if anything he paid for it.

 I want the so-called conservatives who know without a shadow of a doubt that their representatives have engaged in nepotism and cronyism to call it like it is. Affirmative action, which is awarding a contract or position based solely on race, gender, or anything other than skills, is absolutely wrong in my book. Two wrongs don’t make a right. If you give jobs out based solely on a person’s race, how can you be sure that the most qualified person is hired?

 What is bound to happen is that a lot of unqualified people will be awarded jobs or contracts. Just because a person is brown, black, or female is not enough to qualify them for a job. Proponents of affirmative action say these people would never otherwise be given the job.

 How did people like Robert L. Johnson or Colin Powell make it without affirmative action? If you are given a job based on race, even if you succeed, you will be accused of succeeding only because you received a handout. Affirmative action earned Barack Obama the presidency and he is failing miserably.

 Blacks voted for him because he is black. White media did not tell the truth because he is black and they did not want to come off as racist. What did Mr. Obama do before he was elected that would encourage a sane person to vote for him? He was a “community organizer” who had never had a real job or run a business. I don’t know why anyone is shocked that he is doing such a poor job.

 Personally, I would rather struggle without a handout so that when I make it, I can say that I earned it on my own merit, not because of my race. I could then stand boldly and declare that by God’s grace, I made it.

Does anybody think that after the end of civil rights movement, all of the whites who hated blacks died? Are you teaching your kids to hate someone based on race? Just because a law was passed that says blacks can ride at the front of the bus doesn’t mean racism has been eliminated. All racists did not simply say, “Well, that’s it, blacks are just as good as whites.” That is not how the human heart works. The heart is dirty and filthy and it must be taught to love rather than hate.

A man often forgets to guard is heart. Hate and bias creep in when a man isn’t guarded against them. Racism is often passed down from generation to generation. Kids are not born racist in their hearts. Hatred and a superior attitude toward others is taught or caught.

 If you’re black and your kids hear you refer to whites as “crackers,” they too will refer to whites in a derogatory manner. If you always say whites are racist and that you can’t trust white people, your children will believe that whites are the devils.

 If you are Latino and you refer to whites as dumb gringos and blacks as niggers, your kids will follow your stupidity. The Latino community often gets a free pass and they can be the most clannish race of all. I was in Luby’s Cafeteria one day in the takeout line. A Latino lady was wrapping the silverware into napkins. When I walked in, she said the lady who could help me would be right back. I waited about three minutes before the lady came and took my order. I took my seat and waited and about a minute later, Latino lady came in to place her order.

 The lady was barely through the door before the women who had not offered to help me jumped into action. With a big smile on her face, she began speaking Spanish to assist the customer. I thought I was a customer too, but I received neither a smile or help from this woman. I thought we were inAmerica, dammit, so these women should have been speaking English anyway. Also why was I being discriminated against because I did not speak Spanish?  I believe that this type of clannish behavior is taught in the Latino community. They teach that “you should make sure to help your own.” This is nothing more than a form of racism.

If a white had done this to a Latino, the Latino would have been outraged, but since a Latino did it, there is no way this could be racist. This is what gets me about Latinos and blacks. They really believe they can’t be racist because they are a minority or because they believe they lack power. That is just about one of the most ignorant things you can say. If you are Latino or black and you hate someone based solely on their race, then you, my friend, are a racist and I don’t give a damm who says different.

If you were white inAmericain the 1960s and 1970s, some parents taught their kids from a young age that blacks are niggers, coons, porch monkeys, or spooks. Do you really believe that they will respect blacks? I was speaking with a white lady about racism and why it is so bad. I asked her if any of her relatives referred to blacks as niggers. She said she had relatives who referred to blacks in these terms, but they meant no harm. What? “Why, they even have black friends,” she said. If it’s okay to refer to blacks in this way, I told her, why not tell her white relatives to say to their black friends the next time they saw them, “How’s it going, coon?” or “What’s up, nigger?”

 Whites, who say there is no racism in America, are simply putting their heads in the sand. I guess they believe all the racists died after the civil rights movement. Some say that Blacks should be happy that Obama became president because it proves that they have overcome. Speaking to a caller about race, Dr. Laura Schlessinger said, ([iv]) “I really thought that once we had a black president, the attempt to demonize whites hating blacks would stop, but it seems to have grown, and I don’t get it.” She was speaking with a black caller who was married to a white man. What makes Dr. Laura’s commits ridiculous is that the caller said that some of her husband’s friends were using the N-word or, more simply put, were saying “nigger.” I have already discussed the difference between whites and blacks using the word nigger and nigga.

 I don’t care if whites get this or not. There are some things that whites can say to one another that blacks and Latinos can’t. Just as there are things that Latinos and blacks can say to one another that whites can’t. A black person can say certain things I would find offensive coming from the mouth of a white person, but I don’t find it offensive from a black. If I know you are calling me a nigger and not nigga, it is coming from a racist’s point of view. I’m sorry, but the history of what the racists whites did is going to be in my head. Stop with the nonsense that it is the same if Black’s say it.  Nigger is the swastika symbol for blacks so if you can not understand that, I don’t know what the hell to tell you.  

Dr. Laura also said, ([v]) “If you are that hypersensitive about color and don’t have a sense of humor, don’t marry out of your race.” Just because some blacks say “nigga” not “nigger” on HBO, I don’t want a white referring to me as a “nigger”, and that does not make me hypersensitive.

Dr. Laura did what a lot of liberals would do. She talked about why the woman’s husband’s friends used the word nigger around her. Ms. Schlessinger then said that the only reason blacks voted for Barack Obama is because he was black. She got completely off the subject and accused the caller of being hypersensitive.

This is the problem with a lot of so-called conservatives. No matter what you say about racism, they want you to believe you are too sensitive. It is obvious that the woman wasn’t overly sensitive about her race. I don’t believe she disliked whites. For God’s sake, she was married to a white man (who happened to be a coward, in my book). If I had friends who came around and made my wife feel uncomfortable, we would not be friends for much longer. What kind of man allows his wife to be insulted?

What I find funny about Dr. Laura’s comments is that she was implying that since we have a black president, racism no longer exists. In my humble opinion, she was saying, “Here is your forty acres and the mule” in Barack Obama. I would like to tell white people who think Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the NAACP represent all blacks. You are out of your minds. These clowns do not represent me, nor do they represent all blacks.

Some white people act as if all other kinds of sin exist inAmerica, such as rape, theft, child molestation, and prostitution, but not racism. How the hell you can think the human heart is capable of all these other evils but is guarded against racism? If there was racism in theUnited Statesfrom slavery unto the 1980s, what would make anyone believe it has all of a sudden disappeared? I don’t believe it is as rampant as it was in the seventies and eighties, but it is still here.

 My white conservative friends never really talk about stories like Dr. Laura’s, and I can tell you why: either they agree with her or it makes them uncomfortable to discuss it. However, they want to talk about Barack Obama and other liberal topics in the media. I don’t mind talking about any subject because I’m a grown-up and if my daddy was being racist, I would call him on it.

 Some blacks and Latinos would have you believe racism in theUnited Statesis just as bad as it was during the civil rights movement. Only a fool would believe that. Whatever race is in charge will be more favorable to their own race. If Latinos were the majority, most of the big contracts and lobbyist money would go toward Latino businesses. Affirmative action has always existed inAmericaand will continue to be around as long as sinful men are in charge.

 You can bury your head in the sand and refuse to call a spade a spade, but it doesn’t change the fact that some whites do in fact earn their money or position honestly. Nonetheless, there are hundreds of thousands of white men and women who have benefited from their skin color. Get your head out of your butt, Mr. Pull Yourself Up By Your Bootstraps.

 You are probably a hard worker and you might even be brilliant, but without opportunity, you wouldn’t have succeeded. Some blacks and Latinos do not have jobs because they have not applied themselves. Some white people may be more qualified, more hardworking, and applied themselves harder than members of the minority communities, in some incidents.

Reparation for blacks is something most Americans seem to think is a bad idea. Native Americans were given land and money for the ills that were inflicted on them. When Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, which put Americans of Japanese descent into “relocation centers,” the Japanese were given close to $20,000 a piece in reparations.

According to the Institute for Historical Review, ([vi])Germany paid nearly $61.8 billion to survivors of the Holocaust. In the Bible, when Pharaoh let the children ofIsrael go, they left with gold, silver, and other gifts. I know Reparations will not solve race issues in theUnited States. Patriots and liberals can act has if reparations have never been paid before, but the facts don’t agree with their assessment.

Reparation was given to Native Americans because their land was taken away. Reparation was given to the Japanese because they were rounded up and put in camps. Who do you think was mistreated more: slaves, Native Americans, or the Japanese? This is just a little something to think about.

Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence between June 11 and June 28, 1776. It is one of the most cherished documents in the country. It was drafted when there were only thirteen states in this great country of ours. Thomas Jefferson did a masterful job outlining the grievances of the thirteen colonies against the British.

We celebrate our independence every year on the Fourth of July. Why would we celebrate unless we intend to forever remember what happened in the past? Why does white American want to remember the great history of its forefathers but expect blacks to forget the history of great black forefathers?

 Forget the damm forty acres and a mule and reparations, which do nothing to solve the race issue. They simply make Cadillac dealers, gold shops, and clothing designers wealthier. If we really want to ease some of the racial problems in America, we must discuss real history. The history of all Americans must be taught in high schools and given at least some discussion.
