THE BORDER HAS NEVER BEEN SAFER
That was Janet Napolitano’s testimony recently. She praised her Department’s accomplishments (in other words: boasted in her own) saying that the border “has never been stronger.”
Check it out for yourself in the video and don't be surprised when you get pulled over and it's not law enforcement, but instead it's DHS. The next words you'll hear are everyone please exit the vehicle and keep you hands where we can see them.

And she has evidence to back this up. The number of illegal aliens apprehended by the Department of Homeland Security has never been lower. Obviously, this means that fewer of them are managing to penetrate our border security and arrive in this country illegally. Obviously, we have less to fear than ever before as far as a foreign terrorist getting onto US soil with a plan and a weapon.
But perhaps you can think of another possible implication of the fact that DHS is catching fewer illegal aliens than ever before. Even under the best of circumstances, it would be possible that more illegal immigrants are escaping detection than ever before. How do we know that DHS is really doing its job? Can DHS offer us any way of double checking that this?
I don’t know if Janet Napolitano has an answer to that question. I could understand that it is hard to prove a negative. But there is a further problem. Rather than attempt to give us assurance of that point, DHS has changed their record-keeping to make it even harder to find out if they are really keeping the border strong. Fox News reports that DHS “no longer measures illegal immigrants who get away — only those it catches.”
Got that? Every single suspected or identified illegal alien who is pursued but who evade capture goes unreported and unaccounted for. So while she’s bragging on her record, she has actually made that record less accurate and herself less accountable.
These people are not our protectors, they are our prison guards. If some terrorist actually did manage to breach our border and kill Americans, we all know that the immediate response would be to give more power and money to DHS. That’s become the American way. No one with authority and a duty to guard Americans has anything to fear from a disaster. Quite the opposite. When Americans die, new powers are given to government agencies and new programs That really doesn’t matter. You simply can’t keep people safe if the most important overseers of safety know they will never be held to account. That may seem like a cruel truth in the case of a genuine anomaly, but it is still true. Presidents are supposed to protect the American people, not high ranking friends.
So no wonder Napolitano isn’t bothering to keep records that would give her a clue as to whether or not she was really doing her job. If no attack comes, she’ll brag on her record. If an attack comes, she’ll demand more money and power. She knows from history that we have a long tradition of never actually blaming the people in charge when anything goes wrong.
In the meantime, DHS is out there stopping Americans and interrogating them without cause within a hundred miles of a border. We’re not protected. We’re in prison.
I’m no anarchist but I do believe in freedom and this country needs help a little bit of crazy is needed now more than ever. In days of yore when men were men battles were fought with words and backed up with pistols, swords, fists, and cannons. The economy can be fixed rather easily stop trading with communists. People who have no concept of individual thought therefore give no question to making cheap replicas and selling them back to us at twice the price. Human rights are unheard of in a village mentality which is how communism is works, the greater good. You want greater good and peace well you gotta be ready to pay the price. Its time to a little farther south the war on drugs needs to be a war on drugs. Lets go after the cartels with same intensity as we did when Nuked Japan and leveled half of Europe. Lets play the game of risk, the world needs leadership and nobody seems to see it. Its enough to drive men crazy, but lets face it with the Absence of Leadership we have nothing to look forward to. In America people look upon the government as God and that my friends is the Golden Calf. We need leader who speaks softly and carries a big stick. Yeah in school your taught play follow the leader but we have no leader thats why the world is in chaos. I want our next president to be shepherd whose not afraid to fight off the wolves. Leadership comes with a price and until we have a president who is willing to pay it we will be wandering in the wilderness. Yeah the way the world used to come up ideas on how to make things better was to sit down with a bottle of whatever and have a debate but if you crossed the line you had to pay the price. We need statesmen who can have a debate and come to a conclusion even if it means pistols at dawn. It days of yore wars war often fought by the two men representing their particular sides. When I was in university my professor in ethics asked me what my goal was, “I want to raise an army and conquer the known world so that it can be run the right way.” Help me help america, stop electing idiots, stop putting your faith in the government put it in God or at least a God fearing man. Money is power that corrupts all men, I would rather be broke running around in the hills I’d probably have a higher life expectancy. We need ordinary people to put an end to this special interest garbage because no matter which side wins the elections everybody loses. We have an Education system thats broken down and we keep trying to fix it with a hammer, let just tear it down and rebuild it. Actually it would more sense to do that with all of the government. I call for new elections and lets rise up like egypt and demand all of our leaders step down cause they aren’t leaders. The constitution needs a little amending right about now who is going to man up and do what needs to be done. In order to teach the banks a lesson we should allow squatting rights in foreclosed homes. Will a couple of true leaders step forward and a few great men sit down and have a civil conversation on a Sunday afternoon in a parlor room with out attempting to attack other peoples honor. I would like to see a day when people realize we are all different and regions have different problems, for example out west try selling cars that run on solar power, and in the mid west how about some wind power and guess what for the rest of us on the Mighty Mississippi hydro power, we can still use coal and natural gas but stop the insanity. Think for yourselves, communism has its ups and downs but remember even they had to have people who could think for themselves. I don’t want millions I just want a nice world to live is that so hard to imagine. Its going to take either the threat of force or the actual use of force to do this which is why we need leaders and statesmen from different breed. Read your history books empathize and emulate the heros of our past and maybe we will get that better breed of man.

A Republican congressman has told a left-leaning blog that if there is collective support, he would favor the impeachment of Barack Obama over his decision to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act.
Scott Keyes of ThinkProgress.org asked U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz.: "I know Newt Gingrich has came out (sic) and said if they don't reverse course here, we ought to be talking about possibly impeaching either Attorney General [Eric] Holder or even President Obama to try to get them to reverse course. Do you think that is something you would support?" Keyes asked.

About two weeks ago, a poll conducted by a liberal think tank showed that 55% of the voters agreed that “socialist” was an accurate description of Barak Obama. Unfortunately this “semi-awakening” of American couch potatoes torn from their sit-coms and reality shows by the various crises engulfing the nation . . . this rude semi-awakening is coming way too little, way too late. Let’s look at some obvious truth, shall we?
There are 17 precise federal powers enumerated in the United States Constitution. Many of them are specifically targeted for the Supreme Court which ajudicates the law or the Congress which make the laws and decides how the country’s money is spent. Let’s specifically talk about the office that Barack Obama holds . . . .
The president as the head of the executive branch is NOT empowered to . . . . conduct and orchestrate bankruptcies; NOT empowered to deny creditors in bankruptcies their money; NOT empowered to use creditors’ money to make labor unions owners of auto companies; NOT empowered to (with congress) bailout auto companies, banks and the like; NOT empowered to (with congress) force people to buy health insurance;
NOT empowered to (with congress) take over the student loan industry; NOT empowered to (with congress) take over the health insurance industry; NOT empowered to (with congress) take over the banks and financial industry; NOT empowered to force companies to buy “carbon credits”; NOT empowered to stop farmers from irrigating fields to save a 2” long fish;
NOT empowered to appoint 38 “Czars” without the senate being able to vett them; NOT empowered to destroy the capitalist system that has made us the most blessed nation on earth; NOT empowered to destroy working automobiles while paying people to buy other new automobiles with slightly better gas mileage; NOT empowered to sidestep congress’s powers and create amnesty for illegal aliens by presidential directive;
NOT empowered to pick a CEO for GM who would force the company to created the VOLT, a car no one wants at a price few can afford; NOT empowered to sidestep congress’s powers and force cap and trade upon businesses by EPA directive; NOT empowered to fill the White House and the halls of government with avowed communists and radicals who have all called for revolution and in some cases violent overthrow of our government; etc., etc. ad nauseum.
The president of the United States, in other words is NOT empowered to act like a dictator, now is he? He’s not supposed to control every aspect of our lives, our finances, our health, etc. and he's certainly NOT empowered to set up over 500 new government agencies to make sure we toe the line . . . but Barack Obama has already done that and most fat and happy Americans don't seem to notice . . . .
Hopefully, the aware reader has by now picked up on the fact that Barack Obama is doing everything BUT what a president’s supposed to do. In particular, while he’s got his fingers in everybody else’s pies, Obama’s deliberately convoluted the war on terror and become an actual obstacle to protecting the nation’s borders. Instead of long ago facing a firing squad the Ft. Hood Shooter (never once named in the government’s 86-page report about the event which also didn’t use the words Islam, Muslim, terrorism, terrorist, or Jihad) is still getting checks from the U.S. Army. The War on Terror no longer exists and we’ve supposedly talked intelligently about “man-caused disasters” while never admitting that the people causing these disasters all have one thing in common: a radical Islamist ideology; and many of them are recruited and trained by Al Queda.
While licking his fingers now from everybody else’s pie, the President of the United States is deliberately making himself and his administration a major obstacle to gaining controlling over the borders of the United States from illegal aliens; human traffickers; drug and arms traffickers and common criminals. He’s more interested in suing Arizona for seeking to control its state borders than in closing down so-called “sanctuary-cities” which have long thumbed their noses at immigration laws and border control.
While smacking his lips and belching after eating from everybody else’s pie, Barack Obama has deliberately closed down individual and market freedoms at every possible turn. His signature “Obamacare” does nothing to improve health or control health care prices but it did create 390 brand new agencies (that is, in one law it created almost ten times as many government agencies as Franklin Roosevelt created in his four terms in office (accuracy demands we clarify that Roosevelt died after serving a mere twelve years and one month in office). What’s going on here? It’s called “fundamental transformation” and nothing else matters but fundamental transformation . . . moving the country toward an ultra-socialist “utopia” with Barack Obama gaining dictatorial powers in the process. Mr. Obama’s surrounded himself with a cadre of like-minded radicals** and the mainstream media (MSM) has aided and abetted him every step of the way and virtually every day since he started running for president in January, 2006.
So what happens with each new terrorist attempt or success? Somehow ordinary Americans lose a bit of freedom and the media is somehow made less free . . . nothing, heaven forbid, that would slow down any self-respecting radical Jihadist . . . just loss of freedom for Americans. And in the Obama lexicon, that is all "Radical, Man, radical!"
So what happens if a large portion of the 25 million illegal aliens inhabiting this country get amnesty and the right to vote? Can you see 85% of them voting for Obama? Can you see him dominating the elections for years to come? This is the brave new world springing up all around us while Americans ate potato chips and searched for the remote . . . .

Wow, the mainstream media waxed orgasmic. Calling Barack Obama “BRILLIANT” so often today, you'd be forgiven for thinking Obama was Wellington defeating Napoleon. Obama repeatedly received these unrestrained accolades for the firing of top Afghan War General Stanley Mc Chrystal for Stanley Mc’s absured lack of good judgment shown by a) letting a Leftist hatchet** artist journalist embed with the top command in Afghanistan and B) for Mc Chrystal and his top aides flapping their mouths disrespectfully when referring to civilian leadership and c) doing so in front of that Leftist journalist Michael Hastings and d) for blaming the civilian leadership for their own lack of results on the ground.
Let’s be clear here: Mc Chrystal acted like a malcontent recruit not like the genius military leader he was reputed to be. Obama’s move was the only even semi-logical thing he could do . . . the fully logical things would have been to have given the war effort the full 40,000 surge troops request, to give them back in August when requested and to have never been so stupid as to give out a firm “withdrawal date” in advance. That last move is known by those who understand strategic issues as “aiding and comforting the enemy.”
Let us go further, the Obama administration besides second-guessing the surge request and dithering for five months before giving only part of what was asked for . . . besides all that, the Obama administration lacks a real strategy to fight terror either at home or around the globe. In fact, except for extreme good luck so far as seen in the case of the underwear bomber and the boob trying to bomb Times Square . . . there have been virtually NO successes on the terror front since Obama became president. LUCK is definitely NOT a solid strategy for keeping our people safe at home and for winning the War in Afghanistan. WE ARE AT WAR and have been demonstrably so since Osama Bin Laden openly and defiantly and proudly declared war against us in 1992 . . . and officially so since 9/11/2001.
Today, however, we are told we are NOT at war. There is no terror or terrorism, just “man-caused disasters.” NO, Mr. Obama, the Titanic is a man-caused disaster. And, of course, the contortionism required to eliminate accurate and necessary words like Islam, Muslim, radicals, Jihadists, etc. and to avoid the appearance of any GASP, conspiracy with Al Queda in Yemen at its root . . . any old-time vaudevillest would be super proud of the administration's tap dance around the full disclosure of the truth.
House Minority Leader, Boehner’s commented a while back, "The Obama administration has spoon-fed the American people bland reassurances, saying this was a 'one-off' and a 'lone wolf.' This is the rhetoric of an administration that continues to operate without a real, comprehensive plan to confront and defeat the terrorist threat." Of course, the always “out-to-lunch” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected the obvious truth that luck was the reason for the Times Square plot’s failure. "Oh please, please," she said. "The harder we work the luckier we get, and I think that's sort of the point” as she implied vigilant citizens are one part of the administration's “comprehensive strategy” to combat terrorism, which goes hand in hand with law enforcement.
Really? What public-service messages have gone out educating citizens what to do? how to do it? who to contact? what kind of vigil would be most helpful? and most importantly how to get lucky? President Lincoln’s body-guard relied on luck, too, Nancy-dear. John Wilkes Booth drilled a tiny spyhole in the back of the presidential box in Ford's theater so he could reconnoiter the situation accurately and he had an effective plan that worked even though he did his dastardly deed without trying to hide his identity and while using totally unnecessary flair (jumping upon stage and yelling, “Sic semper, tyrannis!”) . . . for the sake of our people's well-being, let’s give our present enemies at least as much credit.
Mr. Obama is instead currently also relying upon luck to hopefully keep a bloodbath from occurring inside Arizona and other border states, not to mention Islamic radical terror plots. Just as the blood on the hands of the Islamic terrorist who perpetrated the Ft. Hood massacre is also on Barack Obama’s hands, so too is the blood that’s sure to flow inside our border states. Yes, we need a brilliant president who is “decisive, firm and bold,” but Barack Obama fails on all four counts . . . .
