On his radio and television shows, Beck suggested any church promoting "social justice" or "economic justice" merely was using code words for Nazism and communism.

"I beg you look for the words social justice or economic justice on your church Web site," he said. "If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words. ... Am I advising people to leave their church? Yes! If they're going to Jeremiah Wright's church, yes! "If you have a priest that is pushing social justice, go find anotherparish," he said. "Go alert your bishop and tell them, 'Excuse me, are you down with this whole social justice thing?' If it's my church, I'm alerting the church authorities: 'Excuse me, what's this social justice thing?' And if they say, 'Yeah, we're all in on this social justice thing,' I am in the wrong place."

This is a short piece and a prayer from the brilliant Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum that I wanted to share with you. At this time when Congress is attempting to destroy our foundation and despair creeps in, time to take a break, count our blessings and get a grip on the knowledge that we have come from dark days like this before.

God bless all you Patriots, and God bless America.

A VERY SPECIAL CALL TO PRAYER FROM PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY

DE-REGULATE INSURANCE COs.

Wow, who is missing the bus here! If we deregulate the medical insurance companies, they will have to do all of the work in conversions - this adds jobs & allows competition - the American way. But, NO, Obama wants to take over the insurance companies just like he did the auto companies (except Ford). Is his ego SO big that he has to push us into socialism? Our government can barely run itself let alone taking over private industry!

Thoughts from a Town Meeting

Not having grown up in New England, I thought of town meeting as aquaint, antiquated system that should have gone the way of thedinosaurs. Perhaps if it had, I thought, something useful like oilcould be produced; nothing useful could come from a group of peoplesitting around listening to other people treat picayune matters as ifthey were truly earth-shattering. Or so I thought. I was horriblywrong.

Recent experiences from an old-fashioned town meeting can restore faith in government, people, and our system.

Why ObamaCare Will Blow

A recent "Investor's Business Daily" article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United NationsInternational Health Organization.
Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:
U.S. 65%
England 46%
Canada 42%
Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who receivedtreatment within six months:
U.S. 93%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:
U.S. 90%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:
U.S. 77%
England 40%
Canada 43%
Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:
U.S. 71
England 14
Canada 18
Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health":
U.S. 12%
England 2%
Canada 6%

I don't know about you, but I don't want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to England or Canada . Moreover, it was Sen. Harry Reid who said, "Elderly Americans must learn to accept the inconveniences of old age."
SHIP HIS ASS TO CANADA OR ENGLAND !
He is "elderly" himself but be sure to remember his health insurance is different from yours as Congress has their own high-end coverage! He will never have to learn to accept "inconveniences"!!!
AND THE WINNER IS VERY INTERESTING!
the percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to thecabinet. You know what the private business sector is... a real lifebusiness, not a government job. Here are the percentages.

T. Roosevelt........ 38%
Taft.....................40%
Wilson .................. 52%
Harding..................49%
Coolidge.............. 48%
Hoover................. 42%
F. Roosevelt......... 50%
Truman..................50%
Eisenhower........... 57%
Kennedy.............. 30%
Johnson.................47%
Nixon................... 53%
Ford..................... 42%
Carter.................. 32%
Reagan...................56%
GH Bush................. 51%
Clinton ................. 39%
GW Bush................ 55%
And the winner of the Chicken Dinner is:
Obama................ 8% !!!
Yep! That's right! Only Eight Percent!!!..the least by far of the last 19 presidents!! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? They know what's best for GM...Chrysler... Wall Street... and you and me? How can the president of a major nation and society...the one with the most successful economic system in world history... stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one?.. or about jobs when he has never really had one??! And neither has 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers.! They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs....or as "community organizers" when they should have been in an employment line.

"And they're off and running.."

A Nation of Fools by Peary Perry“And they’re off and running….”Here we are here in the last week before the BIG vote on healthcare….or Obamacare or diastercare or runinationofamericacare. You call it whatever you want, but that’s what I choose and so far it’s still legal for me to express my opinion. This may change soon, so I need to be quick. The president of this country came out today and announced that he will not campaign for any democrat who votes against this bill. In a way that may be a good thing after what happened in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts. The problem I have with this entire business is the sordid method in which this process has taken place. The voting on this bill is being influenced by bribes as well as payoffs to whoever and whatever with our money in order to secure the votes necessary for passage. I don’t care what you believe this is not right. Selling your vote for political largesse is the same as prostitution. You might call it politics; I call it being a, well you know what the word is.I suspect that if you’re reading this column, you probably agree with me and don’t need any more lectures on what we must do to stop this horrible piece of legislation. Since no one has actually read all 2300 pages of this bill which has parts still unwritten, then the phrase taxation without representation comes to my mind. I happen to live in a Republican controlled district, so taking my congressman to task is not an option. He already has said he will vote no when it comes up.What I will do is suggest that those friends and associates of mine who do live in a democratically controlled district keep calling, faxing, writing and e-mailing for as long as they have the strength to do so. Bear in mind that a lot of congressmen turn their fax machines off or don’t answer their phones to avoid talking to you. Do not give up, you must continue to push. You and I know that this present administration is pulling out all of the stops to cajole and bribe anyone who is sitting on the fence and who remains uncommitted. Is this the American way? Is this ethical? No, of course not, but we’re dealing with people without ethics. People who justify the ends by whatever means possible. Treachery has no limits when it comes to the present day occupants of this White House. Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln must be turning in their graves.I don’t need to tell you this; you already know it as well as anyone. What I would like to suggest to you is to bone up on the facts of this issue. For one thing, we all agree that the healthcare industry is broken and needs to be fixed. But there are ways to do so without bankrupting this country or promising favors to ever Tom, Fred (you can’t use the real word or the PC police will grab you) and Harry congressperson that comes down the pike with their hand out. If you ever have owned a business, if you have ever worked for a for-profit business then I ask you… do you honestly think you can insure all of the people in this country with the same level of care we now have without the costs increasing? There are people out here who are naïve enough to believe this. These are the people who are more interested in what the folks attending the Academy Awards are wearing or talking about than they are interested in how their elected representatives are going to vote. When the late night comedians do their ‘man on the street’ routines and ask questions such as … ‘Who is buried in Grant’s tomb?’ Or ‘can you give me the name of the vice-president of the United States?’ and they cannot make an intelligent answer, I cringe to think these are Americans who can actually vote. I am ashamed of them.I have been remiss in these postings for the past week or so because of my dog being sick and in the hospital (see: http://www.pearyperry.com/letters.htm) but in spite of this, I think we cannot afford to give up the fight. We must press on with our opinions and our commitment to voting those out in November who take the bribes and vote in favor of this abomination.Comments go to www.pearyperry.com(sign up for new columns at www.pearyperry.com)

AMERICA LOVES CONSERVATISM

Why are we a center right country? Possibly because after decades and decades of liberal intervention, the American people know what they have to do to survive -- keep them out of power. But, every so often the Libs need to be in power to remind us of their tyrannical rule. The problem is that they have done it so many times, government takeovers have grown by leaps and bounds. Just look at what's happened over the past 14 months with long standing banks, long standing car companies, insurance companies, education, and healthcare.

OBAMACARE AT ANY COST

As Americans watch the shenanigans of Democrats, the shock and awe of the latest cheap maneuver may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Imagine the horror of the Founding Fathers if they witnessed a Speaker of the House tell the American people she will "deem" a bill to have passed, because she can't get the votes. Hearing the outrage across the wires, it is mind boggling more people have not protested. Where is the press on this? The Constitution Be Damned, as Red State wrote. With the no votes piling up, tyranny is right at our doorstep.

We must all get involved now..!

If you agree contact the leaders of the Tea party voice your opionon

My plan to kill this bill and rattle the cages of the politicians...
Now I don't mean we should stand right in the middle of the street or roads but along side..

On the side walks... As law abiding citizens...

If we can on short notice, show these gangsters that we can mobilize they will know we can also get out the vote come November..

Here is what I am thinking...

If we can coordinate with every local leader and every affiliated group such as AsAMom Liberty Alliance.. Tea Party and 912 for action.. etc.

On Wed. ( or Pick a day ) we have hundreds of thousands of our members across the nation stand at intersections - on over passes and bridges, suburbs and down town cities. Exactly at 5 PM to 7 Pm during rush hour we have them hold up signs all saying the same thing..
If you Vote we Revolt.. and honk if you agree..

This is my feeling.. We will cause wide spread participation by the ordinary citizen by honking.. It could cause slow traffic of traffic jams and most important it will show everyone we are a force acting in Unison all over this nation...
We can vote as one and act as one...
This can be done by leaders calling their members and each other helping to make the signs... Our people will not have to take a full day off work many can simply stop when they see others and pull their signs form the car if they are just coming out of work..
No one will have to travel to far from home... And they will all be with friends and family they know...
This would have to be coordinated nation wide by e-mail blitz and phone calls..
But it can be done before they vote...

Please let me know what you think,, Many I talked to thought it would be a real clear message.. A nation acting in Unison...
Dan - Vote out corruption

This is probably on our minds this weekend, so wanted to share a list of the 64 Congressmen (minus Murtha) who voted for the Stupak Amendment, the 30 potential Swing Votes, and the ONE Republican vote.

What's being done by these radicals is worse than unconstitutional. If they get away with "deeming" a bill passed, where does it stop? Deeming Cap & Trade, deeming Illegal Amnesty, deeming youth camps, deeming the next president, deeming him King? God help us:

Obama Seeks Control Of America’s Waterways & LakesMarch 12, 2010 – While most Americans are focused on defeating Obama’s plan to nationalize our health care system, the President has been quietly working behind the scenes to engineer another federal takeover.

This time, he’s targeting America’s waterways for seizure by the federal government.

First it was our financial institutions, then it was General Motors. Currently he’s working for complete control of our health care system. Now, he wants control over our water.

Under Obama’s federal seizure plan, he would set up nine regional bureaucracies to “decrease user conflicts, improve planning and regulatory efficiencies and decrease their associated costs and delays; and preserve critical ecosystem function and services.”

This is code for having federal bureaucrats determining who can fish in our oceans, coastal areas, lakes and rivers.

Obama’s Ocean Policy Task Force is overseeing the federal takeover and the selective banning of fishing. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is involved in this takeover as well. NOAA is headed by Obamunist Janet Lubchenco, who has ties to radical environmentalist groups. Lubchenco was a trustee of the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and served on the Pew Oceans Commission.

Shortly before Obama was elected, a coalition of environmental groups issued a report called “Transition To Green” to push the Obama Administration toward radical environmental policies. According to ESPN, Obama’s task force has followed lockstep in implementing this document.

Recreational fishermen are outraged by what they see as the destruction of a major industry in the U.S. More than a million jobs in America are linked to recreational fishing. Obama’s task force could kill this industry if it begins regulating who can or cannot fish on our nation’s waterways.

“Transition To Green” is a blueprint for the complete takeover of environmental policies by radical greens. The document recommends that Obama enforce green policies largely through the use of Executive Orders, which avoid Congressional oversight.

While the recommendations sound okay on the surface, there is a sinister side to this that will result in a socialist state.

If all of the recommendations in “Transition To Green” are implemented by Obama during the next few years, our nation will be transformed into a European socialist state with a stagnant economy and few freedoms left.

Dear Patriots

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a tax-exempt charity, (501) C (3), and they continue to violate the IRS code that states charities can not engage politically in a way that decreases the electability of certain candidates. Their Spring 2010 Intelligence Report (http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2010/spring/active-patriot-groups-in-the-united-s) lists who they think are bad political parties and political groups..basically a lot of patriotic groups, and would have a negative impact on candidates affiliated with those groups. We patriots should complain to our representative and the IRS that the SPLC is violating the tax code and should have their tax-exempt status removed. Then we should boycott their list of donors (listed below) who got to take a nice, big tax deduction for their donation to a group that attacks our patriotism. Then we can tell their donors we are going to boycott them. This is a direct way we can have an impact and END THE TAX EXEMPT STATUS OF THE SPLC!

According to DiscoverTheNetworks.org "between 2001 and 2004, SPLC was the recipient of 59 foundation grants totaling $3,326,425. The donors included: the Arcus Foundation; the Baltimore Community Foundation; the Cisco Systems Foundation; the Cleveland Foundation, the Naomi and Nehemiah Cohen Foundation; the Columbus Foundation and Affiliated Organizations; the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan; the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region; Community Foundation (Silicon Valley); the Cushman Family Foundation; the Dibner Fund; the Joseph and Bessie Feinberg Foundation; the Ford Foundation; the Edward and Verna Gerbic Family Foundation; the Jackson and Irene Golden 1989 Charitable Trust; the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund; the Grove Foundation; the J.M. Kaplan Fund; the J.P Morgan Chase Foundation; the Kaplen Foundation; the Open Society Institute; the Albert Parvin Foundation; the Picower Foundation; the Jay Pritzker Foundation; the Louis and Harold Price Foundation; the Public Welfare Foundation; the Raine and Stanley Silverstein Family Foundation; the Spiegel Foundation; the State Street Foundation; the Steinberg Charitable Trust; and the Vanguard Public Foundation."

Steve,

I have no illusions that healthcare will ever get fixed but it does not mean that I won’t put up a fight. Politics, money or both seem to always get in the way. Politicians will never make the hard choices that need to be made.

Our country was founded as a representative republic, not a democracy, and it was the most successful nation that ever existed in history. Today we are a socialist democracy slipping fast into a socialistic fascist form of government with less and less freedoms every day. The country has been drifting into a socialist society over the last 100 years and history tells me that it will never ever get back to where it was without a total collapse of the economy. This has always happened to all true democratic forms of government. Not one has ever been successful on the long term because of self-serving greed. They always destroy themselves, from within, in about 200 years and I feel we are no exception.

People do not learn from history. We are no longer a free enterprise based country and have slowly subjected ourselves to more and more government interference and control. This only drives up the cost of everything, as government produces nothing and is a leach upon the producers of society. That is why the founders formed a government with very few powers and minimum intrusion. Most of these limitations of power in the constitution have been ignored over the last 100 years.

The more that is delegated to the government the less freedom and wealth the citizens will have. I have clearly seen this reduction of freedoms and wealth in my lifetime. When I was growing up, in the average household, one parent worked and the other took care of the home front. Today it takes two people working one or more jobs to pay the bills while the standard of living is declining. It is much harder for my children to make a living than it was for me when I was young. This happened because our government at all levels was taking more and more money from the producers of society and giving it to someone else. This is the same story over and over in history.

We now are in very big trouble with the debt and other obligations our congress have put on us. Our country is financially insolvent due to greed, past spending practices and un-funded social programs and we just can’t afford healthcare for everyone. This is just the cold hard fact. Government has never been efficient at anything and more of it will just make things worse. Government is the problem not the solution and interference with the citizens at all levels plus the lawyers have driven up healthcare cost to the extent it is unsustainable. My doctor told me that he has to have two employees just to take care of paperwork for the work he does and that is just a start. He loses money on every Medicare or Medicaid patient plus others he sees and has to shift those costs to those that have better insurance coverage. He told me on my last visit that he would quit his practice if this health care bill gets passed and he is in his 40’s.

The whole system is rigged to shift costs from those that can pay to those that can’t. This is the main reason medicine and health insurance costs so much. As to your references to price controls, just remember the gas lines of the 70’s. They were caused by Carters price controls. It would be the same for medicine if implemented. Just like communism, it sounds good in theory but has never ever worked and always ends with disaster for the people. If we had a real competitive free market we would not have these high costs. The cost shifting has to stop or we will never get this fixed.

I believe we will have a total financial collapse in the near future if very unpleasant real changes are not made quickly. This is what I would do to turn around the country and health care:

1. Ban the Federal government from all health related programs including Medicare and Medicaid and relegate them back to the states. These programs would have to have modifications to eligible retirement age with reduced benefits.

2. Require all insurance companies be able to do business in any state under uniform laws. This would require modification of state laws to make uniform laws in all states. By the way, the current profit margin for the health insurance industry is less than 5%. Way less than other businesses and no government could operate on that slim margin.

3. Require all insurance companies that write health insurance to insure anyone that applied and not be able to drop those that got sick with the same uniform rates for everyone. Anyone that does not have insurance and needs medical care would be financially responsible for the bill with no government backup other than bankruptcy. This would economically force most people to buy insurance thus reducing policy costs.

4. Pass true tort reform like Mississippi or Texas that applies to all states to eliminate frivolous lawsuits.

5. Make health savings accounts available to everyone though state payroll withholding.

Again, I have no delusions that these things will ever be done but I do know some day we will look back and wish we did.

Being a very young single mother during the mid-60s and 70s, my liberal upbringing took a beating and got a breath of reality. As I struggled on my own (without depending on anyone or any government) to keep a roof over my little boy's head, food on the table, and clothes on his back, I watched young people collecting welfare, food stamps, free clinics, free eye-glasses, asking me for "some change", while marching themselves in protest of the government that gave them these freebies. College campuses were another great stage for more protests, and let us never forget the likes of Hanoi Hannah, Jane Fonda.

These hypocrites (hippies for short) are now running our government, and are very close to their lifelong goal of redistributing wealth by destroying our economy. But in the process, they have underestimated the American spirit, inbred for many generations, now fighting back to preserve the American Dream and our Founding Father's vision.

Glenn Beck Was Interrupted At CPAC

glenn-beck-appendicitis.jpg

by Frequent Raucous Applause from the audience of the most vociferous Conservatives in the U.S. at their Conference in Washington D.C.

Glenn Beck, the Fox News commentator was the final speaker at the three-day conference following the Conservative, and some of the Republican Party's "Brand Names."

Glenn Beck spoke of his lack of a college education and how he has become a success in spite of being an alcoholic.

He also spoke of his love of reading, that he continues even now that he has both a daily radio show and Fox News Cable TV program. His speech than concentrated on the history of the "Progressices" in the U.S. and the real story, Click Link: Behind The Statue Of Liberty

NEWS ALLERT!!! America has been attacted.

A war has been declared on the hearts and minds of our children and most people do not realize it.

The special Glenn Beck night needs to be watched by every parent and shown to their kids and grandchildren. Political indoctrination of our children is happening all across the nation and has been going on for a while. It has recently been really stepped up. Parents need to be aware what is being taught to their children in the local schools. Most of this stuff is very suttle and on the surface sounds good and is easy to sell. You will not believe your eyes if you have not already seen this special. This is very insidious. I read the Communist Manifesto in the early 70's and this type of thing was one of the planks used to move a country to Communism.

Protest the problem not the Lion

Ever wonder why people gather to protest the intentions of our leaders? Do we believe our voices and sign are seen and heard by the protested? Could be. Policies we protest sometimes get stopped or slowed down but are the policies really the only problem.

Our President is, well a marxis. He was before he became president, while he was running for president, and remains one. Why is it that in this nation, a radical leftist can run the greatest, most free and most opportunistic nation in history?

When I watch nature shows with lions taking down a zebra, I think, it sucks to be that zebra. I may imagin myself in the role of that zebra and think that the lion is a terrible menace. But then I come to reality and know the lion is what it is.

I see our liberal leaders kind of the same way. They are what they are. They have a game changing goal that I think is terrible and do not want are nation transformed into a stagnent socialist, statist or marxist nation. While protesting at the steps of the capital building is very necessary, we MUST look at the source. BHO would not be where he is if he did not have the backing of our media. We say, 'media bias' then go on sniveling about what is being done to use. The media will just marginalize our efforts and call us racists or extremists.

I have the best idea in the whole protesting world. Instead of.... NO on top of protesting with a million people at the capital build steps, lets gather outside the headquarters of cbs, abc, nbc, cnn, and nyt and demand truth and a fair depiction of the view of the elected officials.

2012 slogan (WE THE PEOPLE)
