Telling the Truth About Muhammad to the PC Crowd

Muslims are not what is wrong with Islam. This is what has been nearly impossible to communicate to most Liberals today.  The problem with Islam is the Prophet Muhammad.  According to Islamic scripture, in other words, what mainstream Muslims are taught to believe, the Prophet Muhammad was a slave owner, a rapist, committed mass murder, hated Jews with a passion, wanted homosexuals punished, killed his critics, stripped women of all rights and had sex with a nine year old girl, whom he married when she was six, named Aisha.

If the Prophet Muhammad was a Republican Senator from Kentucky, Liberals would oppose him vehemently. But as I have stated before, within the Liberal mind there seems to be a perceptive disability. When I say “Islam” they hear “Muslim”. Such is the nature of the Collectivist mind.

But Muslims are a symptom and not the source of the problem.  The problem is the Prophet Muhammad. If he were alive today, Amnesty International would certainly have a problem with his followers obeying his laws, which demand that certain people have their limbs amputated and their nose cut off. The Democrats would have him in their crosshairs as being at the forefront on the “war against women”. The New York Times would certainly seek to expose him and any whistle blower in his ranks would be celebrated as the next Julian Assange.  

The Huffington Post and Daily Kos would be collecting signatures, to demand that our government do something to stop him. Media Matters would be reprinting all of the outrageous things he said, such as “I have become victorious through terror”.

Michael Moore would probably follow the Prophet around, trying to trick him into a “gotcha” question, then win an Academy Award for his latest documentary, “Muhammad and Me”. The poster would feature Michael Moore gloating in his baseball cap, next to a cut out of the Prophet – and then of course he would be executed, because of the depiction of the Prophet.

Gloria Allred would be representing all of the women whom the Prophet Muhammad took as sex slaves. Every major women’s rights group in America would send out mailers, asking for donations to stop the Prophet Muhammad from instructing his followers to rape his enemies, as an act of war.  Rachel Maddow would have a field day, every day, with this story – and rightfully so. Organizations for the rights of women would have an issue with the Prophet Muhammad, were he alive today.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper would profile the Prophet Muhammad in his “Keeping Them Honest” segment of his highly rated show, because of all the contradictions in Muhammad’s best seller, the Holy Quran (look up “Abrogation”).

would be held in Guantanamo Bay for aiding an enemy of the United States, since he is a follower of the Prophet and Muhammad says that no government is legitimate, unless it follows the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. And he would be likely be sharing a bunk with Representative Keith Ellison.

The ADL would have an issue with the Prophet Muhammad stating that Jews are all apes and pigs (see Suras 2:65, 5:60, and 7:166), rather than trying to protect the rights of Islam’s female followers to wear black sheets over their bodies, as the Prophet’s laws command. If someone were alive today, calling Jews apes and pigs, while having 1.6 billion followers, the ADL would have something to say about it.

The Daily Show would have more fun mocking the Prophet than taking pot shots at Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.  Bill Maher and Sean Hannity would ironically be sharing a Nobel Peace Prize for their brave and pioneering work, in exposing the war crimes of the Prophet Muhammad. 
No one would be drawing parallels between the persecuted yet devout followers of Muhammad and the Holocaust, if the Prophet Muhammad were conducting his mass genocide of infidels today (see Quran 9:5).

Gay rights groups would be a little concerned about the Mormon Church, but totally freaked out about anyone who follows the laws of the Prophet, known as the Sharia, because Sharia Law calls for homosexuals to be severely punished.  Every cult awareness website and organization out there would put out an alert, since the penalty for leaving the Prophet’s religion is death.

After the Prophet Muhammad beheaded an entire tribe of Jews, possibly no one would have a problem with waterboarding anyone who knew where to find him.  The Prophet Muhammad had several wives, but the one named Safiyya became his wife after he tortured and killed her father, her brothers, the men in her tribe, told his fighters to take the women of that tribe as sex slaves and then raped Safia that night. Anyone who had a problem with that, which would be anyone in their right mind, would not be called a “bigot”.

Given that the Prophet Muhammad advocated slavery and owned slaves, it would be unlikely that any African Americans would follow him.  Louis Farrakhan’s speeches would end up on a blooper reel, right next to Malcom X and of course the champion of human rights, Ben Affleck.

The young multibillionaire owner of the world’s largest social network would not be able to quietly obey the blasphemy laws of the Prophet Muhammad, were he alive today.
  But the Prophet is said to have been told about his impending death by the Angel Gabriel. He was said to have been given a choice between being a great king on Earth and going to meet Allah. Apparently he chose not to remain immortal. However, if we compare the body counts of Pol Pot, Hitler and Chairman Mao against the 270 million people killed in the name of the Prophet Muhammad, I guess you can say he has become immortal after all.

Anyway, that young multibillionaire is named Mark Zuckerberg and his social network is called Facebook. At the time this article was written, there are an estimated 1.2 billion Facebook members and the average time a member spends on Facebook is 55 minutes a day. So, whatever policy Facebook decides to adopt is kind of a big deal – in some ways it has more of an impact than what the United Nations decides.

Currently the United Nations has approximately 57 nations which make up what is called the OIC, or the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.  The OIC is trying to make it an international law that criticizing the Prophet Muhammad become illegal. Vice President of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, here in the United States, Syrian immigrant Abdou Kattih, said he supports such a law.  But the OIC are lightweights compared to the power of Facebook. There is an argument to be made that the world went inside the internet and became the world.

Today as I write this, there have been about 25,000 acts of terrorism committed, just since 9/11 alone, in the name of the Prophet Muhammad.  That is several per day – approximately 2 million people actually.  But you can’t say that on Facebook. A new Facebook educational page went up this morning, called “Exposing the Prophet Muhammad” and was taken down, hours later, as it violates Facebook’s policy concerning anything that offends the followers of the Prophet Muhammad.
What did that Facebook page post that was so offensive?  It posted a video that referenced all of the Islamic scripture that tells the story of how Muhammad took Aisha as his wife when she was six years old and consummated their marriage when she was nine.  Oh, and it referenced the Islamic law that states that anyone drawing a picture of the Prophet be killed.
 
What does this mean for you and me?  It means that in the Information Age, the most powerful force on the internet has agreed to follow the blasphemy laws of the Prophet Muhammad.  Islamic Law is also called “Sharia”.  Do you still think the Sharia scare is some crazy Right Wing conspiracy theory?

 LOUSY LINGO TRAPS WHITE HOUSE ON ISLAMISTS 
The White House has been doing a tremendous job of kicking its own backside on foreign policy of late. The latest and best example came as the president’s press secretary sought to
explain how the Taliban can be on a government list of terrorist groups but not be terrorists. The reason for the semantic gymnastics is that President nObama would not like to be the one who gets credit for establishing the new standard that the U.S. negotiates with terrorists, as his administration did in swapping five high-ranking Taliban prisoners of war for an American soldier. And since a determination of the desertion charges against the soldier in the trade is expected soon, the administration is feeling extra pressure. Five terrorist for one deserter would not exactly sound like the deal of the century. Five “armed insurgents” for one prisoner of war, on the other hand, sounds like at least a slight improvement.  -Fox News 

 IRAN SANCTIONS BILL PASSES SENATE PANEL 
The Hill: “Members of the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday passed a bill that would impose sanctions on Iran if a comprehensive agreement to roll back its nuclear program is not reached by June 30. The bill, co-authored by Sens. Mark Kirk [R-Ill.] and Robert Menendez [D-N.J.], passed in the committee by an 18-4 vote. All 12 Republicans on the committee voted for the bill, as did six Democrats…The bill, which is softer than one proposed last year by Kirk and Menendez, would allow the president to waive sanctions indefinitely for 30 days at a time.”
          [In the latest Fox News poll, 70 percent believe President nObama has not been tough enough on Iran and 62 percent believe that military force will be necessary.]
         “The notion that the Iran sanctions effort can be stopped was killed by the American people at the ballot box when they elected a Republican Senate.  nOBAMA SERVES UP PIE IN THE SKY FOR HOUSE DEM RETREAT 
Fox News: “President nObama called for an end to ‘mindless austerity’ on Thursday as he announced his desire to end ‘sequester’ spending cuts in his budget for 2015. The across-the-board cuts, agreed to by both parties, have been in effect since 2013, after lawmakers were unable to produce a more strategic deficit-cutting plan. Members of both parties have problems with the cuts, which indiscriminately affect both domestic and defense programs. nObama's proposed $74 billion in added spending, about 7 percent, would be split about evenly between defense programs and the domestic side of the budget.”

 AMNESTY APPLICATIONS OPEN FEB. 18 
Reuters: “The United States will begin accepting applications on Feb. 18 for temporary legal status from children of undocumented immigrants who came to the United States with their parents, under a plan announced by President Barack nObama last November. The U.S. Customs and Immigration Service [USCIS] said on Thursday the applications for the program to defer deportation and obtain a 3-year legal status would be available to undocumented immigrants who entered the country as children before 2010. They will be the first group of immigrants who will benefit from nObama's sweeping immigration reform announced on Nov. 20. The plan will let up to 4.7 million of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States stay without threat of deportation, including about 4.4 million who are parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.”

 Egypt Labels Hamas' Military Wing Terrorists  
(John Rossomando) - An Egyptian court has labeled the Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, a terrorist organization. "The court ruled to ban the Qassam Brigades and to list it as a terrorist group," Judge Mohamed al-Sayid said Saturday in an interview with Reuters...The decision came as a result of a suit brought by Egyptian attorney Samir Sabri that accused the Qassam Brigades of financing and participating in attacks in Egypt against police, military and other targets. Hamas has diverged from its goal of fighting Israel and now aims to undermine Egypt's internal security, according to the Egyptian court. The court's decision centered on the Qassam Brigades' alleged involvement in a series of terrorist attacks, including one in October that killed 31 Egyptian soldiers.  Millions Of Illegals Already Given Illegal Documents By nObama  
(Rick Wells) - There seems to be no limit to the criminality the nObama regime is willing to engage in in the pursuit of their national transformation objectives. The socialist Democrats have once again returned to one of their favorite crime scenes, our immigration system, for the most recently discovered scheme...It’s a ploy that utilizes the bureaucracy of the system, the guise of poor management, and cumbersome oversight as a protective cover.  Senator Sessions Demands Investigation Into Criminal DHS  
(Rick Wells) - At a minimum two million illegal aliens appear to have been given work permits in direct violation of the law and criteria upon which such documents are to be issued...The abuses of power in this specific instance have been taking place since Janet Napolitano took over DHS in 2009 and continue to this date under DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), no stranger to challenging the regime on their illegalities, is demanding an investigation into what he calls a “shadow” work authorization system.  nObama Budget An Entirely Political and Partisan Document  
(Rick Wells) - Charles Krauthammer starts off with a side note, that in spite of  the millions who were supposedly going to lose their jobs as a result of the sequester, only one person actually did, out of all of those employed in the United States federal government...He then continues on the topic of the nObama budget proposal, saying, “I don’t mind if the ‘president’ sends a budget which he knows is not going to achieve anything. But when he prefaces his remarks as we just saw by saying we have to put politics aside, posing again as the one person in the country who rises above partisanship and party, speaks for the national interests, it’s really grating.” Krauthammer says, “The budget he gave he knows is not going to pass, it’s not a real document. It’s entirely a political and partisan ideological document.  nObama’s Taliban tools and treachery

 Secret emails to finally nail nObama in major scandal? 
(Bob Unruh) - The new GOP majority in the U.S. Senate is turning up the heat on its investigation of allegations the Internal Revenue Service shared private taxpayer information with President nObama, demanding nObama turn over communications he and his staff had with the agency...The Washington Times reported it obtained a copy of a letter signed by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and the 13 other Republicans on the panel. Addressed to nObama, the letter asks for his communications with the IRS since 2010 for their investigation into whether the agency has been engaging in illegal distribution of private taxpayer information.  Unions urge president not to veto Keystone  
(Sean Higgins) - Union leaders urged President nObama not to veto the the Senate bill authorizing the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline...They argued the project, which would build an oil pipeline from Canada's tar sands to the Gulf of Mexico, would a boon for jobs and the economy. The bill passed the Senate on Thursday, 62-36, but the president has said he'll veto it if lands on his desk. The 62-vote Senate majority is not sufficient to override a veto.  Polls Show Public Opposes nObama's Executive Action  
(Joel Himelfarb) - Two new polls will provide new ammunition for critics of President Barack nObama's executive amnesty policies and supporters of lower immigration levels...The new GOP-led Congress "has the green light to defund President nObama's executive actions, especially his bid to grant worker amnesty" to millions of illegal immigrants, the Washington Examiner reported in summarizing the results of a new poll released Thursday by Paragon Insights. By 58 percent to 36 percent, registered voters oppose President nObama's executive action permitting millions of illegal immigrants to remain in the United States, according to the poll.  Bipartisan vote boosts Iran sanctions bill  
(Charles Hoskinson) - By a strong bipartisan vote, the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on Thursday approved legislation that would impose new sanctions on Iran if it does not agree to limit its nuclear program by the June 30 deadline set by international negotiators...The committee voted 18-4 to approve the bill by Sens. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., and Bob Menendez, D-N.J., on the understanding that it will not go to the floor before March 24, the self-imposed deadline negotiators have set to reach a political framework for a final agreement. Six Democrats joined all 12 Republicans in voting to approve the bill. A Republic of Disrespect

     (peggynoonan.com) - It’s odd in Washington now. There’s a lot of claiming of authority and no taking of responsibility.

     The president gave his State of the Union address, and of course the TV ratings were bad—Nielsen put viewership at 31.7 million, the lowest since Bill Clinton ’s last State of the Union, in 2000, when America had 38 million fewer people. Although the low ratings are generally attributed to President nObama’s no longer being new and a symbol of hope, there’s more to it, such as a lack of credibility.

     Mr. nObama sturdily declared that pages have been turned and crises surmounted. He has become a better actor in his presidency, with better command of and engagement with his material, but the material reflected nothing new in terms of his essential attitudes. He quickly glossed over the Islamic State: “In Iraq and Syria, American leadership—including our military power—is stopping ISIL’s advance.” I liked the “including our military power,” but: Really? Few on the ground see anything but an Islamic State on the move. Literally as the president spoke, Yemen’s government was falling to Iranian-backed groups whose takeover is assumed to be good news for an al Qaeda branch poised to fill the void. The president’s habit of detaching from what is actually happening—of declaring in fact that the opposite is happening—is a marvel to behold. History will speak of it.

     After forgetting to be gracious to the victors of the 2014 election, or even to note there’d been a significant election, he referred to his relations with Congress. “Imagine if we broke out of these tired old patterns. Imagine if we did something different,” he said. “A better politics isn’t one where Democrats abandon their agenda or Republicans simply embrace mine.” It is instead one “where we appeal to each other’s basic decency instead of our basest fears.” Well, OK, but before this sweet hectoring he had sternly threatened to veto Republican-backed legislation. ( CBS News ’s Mark Knoller counts nine veto threats since the new Congress was sworn in Jan. 6.) Somehow Mr. nObama’s olive branch always looks like a blunt instrument. He has spent the past six years blaming Republicans when he wasn’t ignoring or dissing them, and despite some nice touches in the speech, his essential disrespect for his political adversaries shone through.

He hates them. They hate him back.

     On the Republican side we see disrespect toward the president—and, more consequentially, toward the presidency—in the decision of GOP Hill leaders to invite, without conferring with the White House or the State Department, a foreign head of government, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to address a joint session of Congress next month.

     On hearing of this I got the same sinking feeling I did last week when Mr. nObama met with British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House and, during their joint news conference, Mr. Cameron acknowledged to reporters that he’d personally lobbied U.S. senators to back Mr. nObama on Iran sanctions. Should a foreign leader be on the phone jawboning with members of the American Congress about what they should or should not do? Um, no. It’s a breaching of diplomatic form and tradition. You go run your country, we’ll run ours, and then, because we’re friends and allies and love each other, we’ll meet and talk and see if we can’t get into agreement.

     But the Netanyahu invitation seems to me worse. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports the idea was “cooked up” behind the back of the American president, that the White House, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Israel “were totally excluded from these contacts,” that they had been neither consulted nor informed before the invitation was issued by the Republican leadership. (Haaretz also noted that Mr. Netanyahu faces an election in two months.)

     Mr. Netanyahu is welcome to visit and speak to Americans anytime he wants, but Congress’s invitation, like Mr. Cameron’s lobbying, is a violation of diplomatic form, tradition and expectation. The United States has an elected president who serves a four-year term, and in that time he gets to conduct the nation’s formal diplomatic efforts and policy and to oversee its foreign-affairs apparatus and agencies.

     Does Mr. nObama deserve to be embarrassed in this way? Of course he does! In his long years in the presidency he has demonstrated no regard for the Republicans of Congress, and now they are showing no regard for him.

     But it is still a bad move, a damaging snub that makes divisions more dramatic, and not only between Congress and the president. Mr. nObama is forced to decide whether to invite Mr. Netanyahu to visit the White House while he is in Washington. The White House announced it will not, pointedly attributing the decision to “the proximity to the Israeli election.” This too is a snub, and it is hard to see how it does anything to fortify U.S.-Israeli relations.

Worst of all is the costly precedent the invitation risks setting.

     When the Democratic Party wins a majority in Congress, and someday it will, it can do the same thing to a Republican president—bring over for a great joint session address, at a dramatic moment, a foreign leader with whom that president is in opposition or deep tension.

     Congress has the authority to do what it’s doing, but is it the responsible thing? Congress and the White House are supposed to work together on foreign affairs, as a matter not only of politesse but practicality.      I close with an admittedly odd jump, but it’s about something I couldn’t get out of my mind when I thought of the conspicuously odd moments in Washington this week.

     At a congressional hearing on Wednesday, someone decided it would be amusing or helpful to unleash a small drone. The House Committee on Science, Space and Technology was meeting and suddenly the drone was flying around the front of the wood-paneled room, released by a young marketing executive from a company called 3D Robotics. The committee’s chairman seemed startled on the C-Span recording, though it appeared he gave permission for the display.

     The drone was a flat, plastic thing with an evil little buzz. What I thought as I watched was: It would be nice if Washington would do one big thing in the next few weeks—see to it that since everyone now has recreational or commercial drones, we can come up with a way to control their use in and around airports. Actually, what I thought was: Someday one of them will fly one into the engine of a 757 like a gaggle of New York airport geese, and we’ll all hope Sully Sullenberger is at the controls.

They could do that if they were willing to take responsibility.

‘Whatever Ideology’?

Barack Obama refuses to acknowledge that basic tenets of Islam are the ideological foundation of the Islamic State and its army of terrorists. That ideology is metastasizing throughout the Middle East. Obama’s premature withdrawal of our forces from Iraq prior to his 2012 re-election – so he could claim “I ended the war” – left a vacuum filled by ISIL, which has now largely negated all the blood and treasure we expended to establish democracy in Iraq. Yesterday, asKing Abdullah II of Jordan, one or our most dependable allies in the region, met with Obama, ISIL released a professionally edited video of caged Jordanian pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, being burned alive. According to Obama, “It’s just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization. … It also indicates the degree to which whatever ideology they are operating off of, it’s bankrupt.” Memo to Obama: The “organization” has a name – it’s “The Islamic State,” and the “ideology they’re operating off of” is radical Islam. And the most prized target in their sites would be Americans – on American soil.

Senate Has Opportunity in Ashton Carter Hearing

Those worried about the White House’s farce of a foreign policy may find some solace in Barack Obama’s nominee for secretary of defense, Ashton Carter. In written testimony to Congress ahead of his nomination hearing today, Carter said he would question Obama’s party line in situations like the drawdown from Afghanistan and the relationship with Iran. While the administration courts the state sponsor of terrorism, Carter wrote to Congress, “Countering Iranian destabilizing activities must be an important priority. Regardless of the outcome of nuclear negotiations, I firmly believe that the United States must also counter these destabilizing regional activities, including Iran’s support to terrorists and militant groups.” Instead of simply using today’s hearing to vent frustration over Obama’s failed foreign policy, senators should use this time to establish a working relationship with Carter. As national security expert Brian Slattery writes at The Daily Signal, senators need to know Carter’s priorities and if he’s willing to work with the current, sequestered budget.

Obama Hits ‘Mindless’ Sequester Again

Speaking about his 2016 budget proposal, Barack Obama offered an olive branch – with which he whacked Republicans. “I want to work with Congress to replace mindless austerity with smart investments,” he said, adding, “We can do so in a way that is fiscally responsible.” He continued along this line: “I’m not going to accept a budget that locks in sequestration going forward. It would be bad for our security and bad for our growth. … Part of the reason why we grew faster last year was [that] we were no longer being burdened by mindless across-the-board cuts.” First, the sequester was Obama’s idea. He used it to gain the upper hand against Republicans in 2011 budget negotiations. Second, when Congress passed it, he’s the one who made it “mindless” in its implementation – everything from scrapping White House tours to making painful military cuts. Rather than cut waste, he cut visible and popular things to make a political point. Finally, as for working with Congress, well, we know how he views that chore going into the fourth quarter of his presidency – it ain’t going to happen.

Since 2009, Obama Gave Away 5.5M Work Permits

For years, the Obama administration has skirted immigration laws, giving out hundreds of thousands of work permits to people who came into this nation with either no visa, or merely student or tourist visas. Since 2009, the Obama administration has handed out 5.46 million work permits, with 532,000 given to people with student visas, 470,000 on tourist visas and 156,000 for dependents of students or guest workers. Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, writes, “This should be a concern; work permits are gateway documents to driver’s licenses and other benefits, and if the government agency issuing them does not know or will not disclose how the bearer arrived in the country how can others rely on the authenticity of an individual’s identity? It is equally disconcerting if the government does know and chooses not to disclose it.” Obama didn’t wake up sometime last year and think: Gee, it would be fun to completely ignore the separation of powers and do some crazy stuff with immigration. Democrats Taunt GOP Over Immigration Response

The Democrat minority in the Senate was just enough to stall a GOP bill undoing Barack Obama’s unconstitutional executive action on immigration. All 46 Democrats and two Republicans voted against the bill funding the Department of Homeland Security Tuesday. The last session of Congress passed a temporary measure to fund DHS until February, when the new, GOP-led Congress could confront Obama on his immigration actions. But now, the Democrats are reveling in the power they have to jam the legislative process. And Obama still continues to flaunt his executive actions. On Wednesday, he hosted six youths who are in this country due to his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. A White House official told The HillObama did this to “reiterate that his executive actions are lawful.” Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid cackled, “We all know this is going to end with a bill funding Homeland Security that goes to the president. We’ll wind up passing a clean bill so why do we wait, why do we agonize?” The lines are drawn on the congressional floor. In the coming weeks, we’ll see if Republicans have the grit to fight a lawless executive branch.

Politicizing Vaccination

Republicans hate women, children, puppies, rainbows and especially Science™. If you didn’t believe that, witness the latest kerfuffle over vaccines. Once the province of doctors' offices and parenting blogs, vaccines have come front and center in the political arena over the last few days, and the Leftmedia are using it to bash the GOP.

Two likely 2016 presidential contenders, Chris Christie and Rand Paul, answered questions about vaccines in the wake of the recent outbreak of measles at Disneyland. They both might have been better off with a “no comment” than to wade into such a “gotcha” issue for a Leftmedia hungry to discredit anti-Science™ Republicans.

Though Christie extolled the benefits of vaccination, he said there must be “some measure of choice” in the matter. Paul argued that most vaccines should be voluntary: “The state doesn’t own your children. Parents own the children. And it is an issue of freedom and public health.” That thought came after he relayed scary but discredited anecdotes involving “many tragic cases of walking, talking, normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines.”

The Republicans' comments followed Barack Obama’s pontification on the issue: “You should get your kids vaccinated. The science is, you know, pretty indisputable. We’ve looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren’t reasons to not.”

That’s a shade different from Obama’s stance in 2008, however, when he said, “We’ve seen just a skyrocketing autism rate. Some people are suspicious that it’s connected to the vaccines. … The science is right now inconclusive, but we have to research it.” Perhaps he settled the science during his first term.

Likewise in 2008, Hillary Clinton and John McCain pointed to vaccines as a possible cause of autism. McCain said there was “strong evidence” of a connection, and Clinton promised to “make investments to find the causes of autism, including possible environmental causes like vaccines.”

As for “investments,” Obama’s latest budget cuts $50 million from a vaccine program for the underinsured. That’s inconvenient.

So now that we’ve established a bipartisan problem, we’ll make a few observations.

Science is rarely “settled” – that’s the point of scientific inquiry. As we often note, climate change is likely happening, but the science is not at all clear on its cause or extent or what we can do about it. Whether eating eggs or too much salt is bad for you has been the subject of years of rigorous debate. Vaccines were created thanks to research and study – and there’s no reason to end such work, or to deny that we don’t know everything.

That said, fears about vaccine risks are often overblown. The Wall Street Journal reports, “The claims about vaccine risks go back to a 1998 article in The Lancet in which British doctor Andrew Wakefield claimed to have found a link between the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine and autism. But the real menace was Mr. Wakefield, whose findings were proven to be fraudulent and who was on the payroll of the plaintiffs bar. The Lancet retracted the article in 2010, and Mr. Wakefield lost his medical license.”

And it’s indisputable that vaccines have been remarkably effective in virtually eradicating communicable diseases that once claimed numerous lives. Measles was declared eliminated in 2000, but international travelers brought it here again, where it spread at Disneyland among the unvaccinated.

Let’s be clear that some children cannot receive vaccinations due to illnesses such as leukemia, and there are indeed perfectly legitimate reasons to forgo vaccinations or to space them out. Parents should research the issue and be as knowledgeable as possible. That includes finding a trustworthy doctor.

Those who opt out of vaccines benefit from what’s known as herd immunity. In other words, as long as about 90% of people are vaccinated, the “more-enlightened” few may choose to avoid doing so and suffer little consequence. But there is a mathematical limit to this gamble, and it’s often upper-class liberals who are rolling the dice.

Wealthy schools in Los Angeles now feature vaccination rates as low as South Sudan. As a result, there’s a resurgence of measles and whooping cough. The California counties surrounding San Francisco (which went for Obama by 84% in 2012) also have especially low vaccination rates.

But remember, it’s Republicans who are anti-Science™.

Some on the Right do oppose government mandates for vaccinations, but the vast majority of conservatives still vaccinate. And most of the time it’s not actually an issue of personal liberty; it’s one of public health and individual responsibility. As 19th century physician Oliver Wendell Holmes put it, “The right to swing my fist ends where the other man’s nose begins.” The choice to refuse vaccination – when rooted in vain conceit rather than medical reality – endangers others.

Vaccinations are a very good idea, and, because many people lack common sense, the use of state power through carrots and sticks is not excessive. It was Thomas Jefferson writing in theDeclaration of Independence who said, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men.”

Finally, the issue for both sides of the political aisle boils down to trust in government. Whether it’s global warming, NSA surveillance, IRS audits, ObamaCare or vaccinations, many Americans just don’t think government officials are playing it straight or telling the truth. Most of the time, this distrust is founded in legitimately bad experience. ObamaCare in particular can be blamed for the rising mistrust in medicine.

Unless and until that trust is restored, a growing number of people will eschew good health choices, and, as a result, we may be looking toward a future full of diseases we only thought we had beaten.

Perry’s Claim to Fame Is Simple: Jobs

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is considering another run for the White House in 2016, and his platform is strong in the primary concern of voters. As political strategist James Carville so memorably put it during Bill Clinton’s first campaign, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

In his State of the Union, Barack Obama crowed about the jobs he created since 2010: “America has put more people back to work than Europe, Japan and all advanced economies combined. Our manufacturers have added almost 800,000 new jobs.”

But Obama didn’t give credit where it’s due. Since the start of the Great Recession in 2007, the 1.169 million increase in jobs nationwide up to December 2014 can be attributed entirely to theroaring Texas economy. The other 49 states and Washington, DC, altogether have lost about 275,000 jobs. Texas enjoyed its 51st consecutive month of growth in December, adding more that 2,000 jobs every business day. And while the nationwide headline unemployment rate stands at 5.6%, the rate in Texas dropped to 4.6%. Pretty impressive numbers for a candidate’s résumé.

Of course, Texas owes much of its boom to fracking on privately owned land. Fracking has sparked a recovery in other industries, including construction. From January to November, more building permits for single-family houses were issued in Houston alone than in all of California in the same period.

Unfortunately, some of Texas' job growth came because of crony capitalism – sweetheart tax deals and so forth. That shouldn’t play well with free-market conservatives, but the average voter probably won’t care much about that angle when Perry can say, “Yeah, but Texas under my leadership is responsible for virtually all the job growth in the nation.”

One issue that will tickle conservative heart strings is that leftists are labeling Perry a “tenther.” Like the supposedly pejorative “denier,” the Left now labels anyone who believes in the Tenth Amendment a “tenther.” We’re mighty proud to be in that club.

Interviewed by Heartland magazine, Perry said that he wants to be a strong Tenth Amendment leader, working with other governors who share his passion: “We need to get back to 50 states competing against other … to become a powerful country, a powerful economy again.” He continued, “We need to … make the states … into laboratories of innovation [again to] put America back on the road to recovery.”

A push to restore the federalism our Founders established is long overdue and we hope the next president and governors have the wisdom to restore the Tenth Amendment as we have the Second.

Meanwhile, should Perry emerge as a viable candidate, the Left will simply lie to destroy him. Lies, character assassination, mudslinging. The Left’s stock in trade.

Indeed, this is why he had a run-in last year with Travis County Democrat District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg after she was arrested for drunk driving with three times the legal limit of blood alcohol. During her arrest and booking, she behaved like a bratty eighth grader. Sentenced to 45 days, she served half. Because she heads the Public Integrity Unit of the DA’s office, Perry asked her to resign. Like any good disgraced Democrat, she refused, causing Perry to cut funding to her office until she was replaced.

Smelling blood in the water, special prosecutor Michael McCrum took the matter to a grand jury and got an indictment for two class A misdemeanors: abuse of official capacity and coercion of a public servant. Got that? Perry allegedly “abused” Lehmberg by demanding her resignation. And he “abused” the power of the veto. That’s rich.

The Leftmedia lost no time headlining: GOVERNOR INDICTED. Unfortunately, the case will drag on for months, keeping Perry’s “sullied” name in the news. He could lose campaign contributors, as ridiculous as that might seem, but Democrats have been at this game for decades, and they know their stuff. Let’s hope the voters show more sense than the media hounds.

In terms of campaigning, two things will work to Perry’s advantage this time: He’s no longer governor and can focus all his energy on the campaign, and he’s not coming off back surgery, which many think put him off his game in 2012. And, again, that job-creation résumé is going to play well in a nation sloughing along under Obamanomics.

Jordan’s King Abdullah executed two al-Qaeda prisoners before dawn today, following through on his promised retaliation for the ISIS barbaric slaughter by burning of Jordanian pilot Moath al-Kasasbeh.

CNN  Put to death were Sajida al-Rishawi, the Iraqi would-be suicide bomber whose release ISIS had previously requested, and Ziad Karbouli, a former top aide to the deceased leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The executions came a day after video and stills showing a Jordanian military pilot being burned alive while confined in a cage, were released.

“Those who doubted the atrocities committed by ISIS now have the proof,” Jordanian government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said on state TV. In Amman and in the pilot’s hometown, crowds hit the streets, calling for revenge. “The propaganda factor, I think, is going to completely backfire on them and the reason I say that is: When was the last time you had a mob in the street of one of these Muslim countries that was not screaming ‘death to America,’ but in fact screaming, ‘death to ISIS?

The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), pursuant to FBI orders, grounded the aircraft that Florida Family Association paid to pull a banner around MetLife Stadium on September 28, 2014. The banner stated AIG SPONSORS JIHAD TV. The FAA lost the control tower audio recording of this act of censorship after receiving a Freedom Of Information Act request. However, the FAA provided a written account of the event in which they stated in part “The Front Line Manager (FLM) disclosed he could not recall ever requesting any other aircraft to leave the area.” The FBI has not provided a reason as to why their agency commanded the FAA to order the grounding of the aircraft.

Florida Family Association hired Aerial Messages, Inc. to fly a banner stating AIG SPONSORS JIHAD TV before the Detroit Lions vs. New York Jets game on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the MetLife Stadium in New York.   The Los Angeles Times reported on August 15, 2013 that “some derisively label the network ‘Jihad TV.’” 

FBI commands FAA to ground (censor) Florida Family Association aircraft with banner.  Remy Colin, owner of Aerial Messages, Inc., informed Florida Family Association on September 29, 2014 that the FAA tower had ordered the aircraft carrying the AIG banner to land after it had been in the air approximately three hours.  Mr. Colin stated that his Aerial Messages’ associate in New York informed him that an FBI agent outside of the jurisdiction of MetLife Stadium had instructed the FAA tower to order the aircraft to the land.  The Aerial Messages’ associate pilot informed Mr. Colin that comments attributed to the FBI agent made reference to a discussion that the agent allegedly had with an AIG official.  

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request made for recording of FAA controller conversation with pilot.  Remy Colin filed a Freedom of Information Act request on September 30, 2014 for the audio recording of the conversation which took place on September 28, 2014 between the FAA tower and his pilot.  Tessa Berry responded to Mr. Colin with an email on October 3, 2014 which stated in part:  This letter acknowledges receipt of your FOIA request dated September 30, 2014, concerning NR8094D (94D) ATC recordings over the Met Life Stadium in New York from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Sunday the 28th of September 2014.  Tessa Berry is FOIA Coordinator, FAA, ESA Administrative Services Group, Management Support Team.

FAA lost the recording of the FAA control tower conversation with pilot.   Stacy M. Thomas called Remy Colin the morning of November 21, 2014 to inform him that the recording of the FAA control tower conversation with Aerial Messages’ associate pilot from September 28, 2014 was missing.  Stacy Thomas offered to have FAA personnel meet with the FAA Front Line Manager at the airport control tower and prepare a written account.  Stacy M. Thomas is a FAA Management & Program Analyst, Administrative Services Group, Management Support Team,  AJV-E52.  The FAA formally replied by certified mail with letter dated December 23, 2014 which stated in part “A records search was conducted at Teterboro and Newark (EWR) Airport Traffic Control Towers.  EWR does not have any information, therefore, they have no records responsive to your request.”

FAA letter confirms FBI ordered the censorship of aircraft banner.  Elizabeth L. Ray, FAA Vice President, Mission Support Services, wrote a letter on December 8, 2014 which provided a summary of the FBI’s censorship.

Florida Family Association asked the FBI to explain why their agency ordered the FAA to ground the aircraft.  Florida Family Association emailed a letter on September 30, 2014 to George Venizelos the agent who is in charge of the FBI New York Field Office and a letter to Newark Special Agent Aaron Ford who is in charge of security at MetLife Stadium.  (The email addresses to which these letters were sent are no longer valid or no longer accepting certain emails.)   Florida Family Association faxed a letter on December 18, 2014 to Mr. Bob Gibson, Chief Division Counsel of the FBI Newark Office and a letter to FBI Newark Special Agent Aaron Ford who is in charge of security at MetLife Stadium.  All of the letters stated in part “Why did the FBI order our aircraft with banner message to land?”

FBI NON-response.  None of the three FBI officials responded to the letters from Florida Family Association.  The FBI has provided no explanation for grounding the plane.  The FBI mailed Florida Family Association a form letter dated January 9, 2015 stating that they have received a FOIPA from Florida Family Association and are “researching” the matter.

Florida Family Association did not receive the written response from the FAA until December 16, 2014.  The FBI was given four weeks to respond before making this act of censorship public.

Florida Family Association flew the same style banner last year without incident.  Florida Family Association hired Aerial Messages, Inc. to fly a banner stating PROCTER & GAMBLE SPONSORS JIHAD TV before the Green Bay vs. Cincinnati game on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 9 am to 1 pm.  Unlike AIG, Procter & Gamble stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America the week after the aircraft pulled the banner.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has extended their censorship favoring Islamists beyond their agency to the private sector.    In February 2012, the FBI cowered to the pressure from Islamist groups by removing 876 pages and 392 presentations from their educational resources because the materials were offensive to Islamists.  In 2013, the FBI cowered again to Islamist groups by stopping their Most Wanted advertising campaign which helped the agency gain information regarding the whereabouts of dangerous terrorists.  Now the FBI is censoring the private sector’s criticism of American corporate sponsorship of Islamist television.

The FAA Front Line Manager’s (FLM) statement that “he could not recall ever requesting any other aircraft to leave the area” unmistakably means the federal government censored Florida Family Association.  Did an AIG official ask an FBI official to ground the plane?  Could the FBI also have deleted the audio recording of the conversation between the control tower and pilot given the FAA’s finger pointing letter?

Separation of church and state, Islamic style


Separation of church and state is gaining a lot steam these days. The Islamic State, the new Islamic Caliphate, burned alive in a cage a Jordanian pilot, what Reuters reports as a form of killing that is "considered despicable by Islam." All of a sudden it is revealed the religion that enslaves women and children, is an extensive dealer of drugs and human trafficking, cuts off limbs, buries people up to their waists and stones them to death, beats people to a pulp with whips, and beheads men, women, and children who do not agree with Islam, is now against burning someone alive. Such humanitarians these, people! All over the Middle East, Reuters reports, even IS supporters are saying it crossed the line.


Reuters reported, "King Abdullah cut short an official visit to the United States on Tuesday. In a televised statement to the nation, he urged national unity and said the killing was a cowardly act of terror by a criminal group that has no relation to Islam." Jordan promptly hanged two Islamic State Islamists--one a woman already sentenced to death for terrorism, and the other a man, sentenced to death for his leadership in al Qaeda. The Jordanian pilot's father said, "I want the state to get revenge for my son's blood through more executions of those people who follow this criminal group that shares nothing with Islam." So separation of Islam and Islamic State apparently rests on a method of killing. I'm not kidding. 


This is the way it is with Islam. There is always some contradiction that gives plausible deniability that this act or that one is associated with Islam. The clerics always point to the "peace of Islam" and how Islam is a peaceful religion. It is if you agree to submit to its brutal system of Sharia Law and make no waves, living you life in fear of upsetting someone. Because if you do, there is aplenty in the Koran to make sure what ever you do has severe and inhumane consequences. In 2012, an Islamic husband killed his wife because she bore him a daughter when he wanted a son. In 2013, an Islamic father burned to death his wife and injured his three daughters because one daughter wanted to marry for love.


American politicians often point out that everything bad about Islam is not representative of Islam. But we have to have the discernment of Jesus on these things. He said in Matthew 7:15,16, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.Ye shall know them by their fruits." Indeed, a system that uses a book written by a false prophet and separates its morals from its actions at will using such a book is a huge contradiction. And politicians that parrot this dialectic are their allies. The US "president" for example, said the Islamic Jordanian pilot represented "universal human values that stand in opposition to the cowardice and depravity of ISIL." There is nothing in Islam that represents universal human values.

“Some people watching were just concentrating, but others were screaming ‘F*ck, shoot him! He has an IED, don’t wait for permission!!’” Mohammed laughed, recounting the film’s many tense scenes when US Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, played by Bradley Cooper, radios in for authorization to take out a potential threat in his crosshairs . . .

Mohammed says one of the film’s opening scenes, when Kyle spots a woman and child who appear to be preparing to attack US troops during the initial invasion of Iraq, had the entire audience on the edge of their seats.


“When the sniper was hesitating to shoot [the child holding the RPG] everyone was yelling ‘Just shoot him!’” he said. (Read more about the reaction in Baghdad HERE)

By Adam Kredo. The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.

State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki claimed last week that the controversial delegation of key Brotherhood leaders and allies had been “organized and funded by Georgetown University.”

However, the university denied this is the case when reached by the Washington Free Beacon . . .


The meeting between the Brotherhood allies and the State Department sparked controversy in Washington and Cairo, where Egyptian government officials expressed anger at the Obama administration for hosting representatives of a group they consider to be terrorists.

The State Department meeting was attended by a deputy assistant secretary for democracy, human rights, and labor and other State Department officials. (Read more about the meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood HERE)

I'm guessing the vast majority of you who came here reading the headline are extremely curious as to how an administration seemingly hell-bent on protecting the reputation of Islam could openly call for the ideology to be banished. It's true the White House just released a statement claiming the Islam ideology should be banished. The part that I left out of the headline is that the White House just doesn't admit that Islam is the ideology that should be banished.

Here's the White House statement in full.

Today, we join the people of Jordan in grieving the loss of one of their own, First Lieutenant Moaz al-Kasasbeh, cruelly and brutally killed by ISIL terrorists.  On behalf of the American people, I offer my deepest condolences to Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh’s family and loved ones, to the brave men and women of the Jordan Armed Forces, and to King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan.

Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh will forever personify the bravery of a true son of Jordan, one who honored his family and country by his seven years of military service.  Along with his compatriots and other Arab and international members of the coalition, Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh was in the vanguard of the effort to degrade and defeat the threat posed by ISIL.

Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh’s dedication, courage, and service to his country and family represent universal human values that stand in opposition to the cowardice and depravity of ISIL, which has been so broadly rejected around the globe.  As we grieve together, we must stand united, respectful of his sacrifice to defeat this scourge.  Today, the coalition fights for everyone who has suffered from ISIL’s inhumanity.  It is their memory that invests us and our coalition partners with the undeterred resolve to see ISIL and its hateful ideology banished to the recesses of history.

As I posted earlier, Obama refuses to admit that the "Islamic State" is, in fact, Islamic in his statements about the terror murder of a Jordanian pilot.

Let's look at some facts here.

  • ISIS follows the holy Quran and uses its message to justify its actions
  • ISIS, by definition, is Islamic
  • ISIS actually referenced a document from their prophet Muhammad in justifying the burning of the pilot
  • ISIS is made up of solely Muslims
  • ISIS has declared jihad against anyone who is not a Muslim

So yes, if Obama is calling for the end to the ideology behind ISIS, he is, in fact, calling for an end to Islam. Of course we all know that's not what he really wants.

According to National Review Online, the records of Sharpton’s organizations are “copious, confusing, and sometimes outright bizarre; and together, they depict persistent financial woes for Sharpton, who also personally owes New York State nearly $596,000, according to active tax warrants.”


Bernadette Schopfer, the director of taxation at New York’s Maier Markey & Justic, a certified public-accounting firm that has had no dealings with Sharpton, stated:

He clearly appears — based on the information that’s available to us — to have a history of noncompliance with tax obligations. It appears that [Sharpton] does not file [taxes for his businesses], and then opens up something else. At all the entities we see he has opened up, he has not been compliant with the obligations of the owner of a business. . . . He’s either willful in his behavior, or he’s just sloppy.

Sharpton’s first company, Raw Talent, picked up a lot of tax debt and finally dissolved in 2002 for failure to pay taxes.

Revel Communications, his second company, started in 1999. It either failed to file or pay taxes from 1999 to 2002.

He also started another for-profit entity, Sharpton Media Group. A spokeswoman for National Action Network, Sharpton’s non-profit organization, stated that Sharpton Media Group ceased to operate after a tax settlement. (Read more about the Sharpton business being shut down HERE)

Obama delivers statement on Ukraine from the White HouseThe GOP-House voted Tuesday evening to fully repeal Obamacare, sending the bill to a Republican Senate that seems likely to at least try to pass it in the coming weeks.

There was little doubt the bill could pass in a House with a stronger Republican majority, and it passed easily 239-186.

Republicans have held full Obamacare repeal votes in every session of Congress, and have won the support of just a few Democrats. This time around, no Democrats voted with Republicans, and three Republicans voted against the bill: Reps. Bob Dold (Ill.), John Katko (N.Y.), and Bruce Poliquin (Maine).


The debate and vote gave both parties a chance to run through their usual arguments for and against the law. Republicans said said the law is leading to higher healthcare costs and less choice for Americans who have seen many of their insurance plans canceled because they don’t meet new standards under the law.

 After Undermining Cuts, nObama Plans More Spending  
Despite Republican budget cuts helping the nation boost its Index of Economic Freedom score, Barack nObama worked to make sequestration as painful as possible -- even though it was his idea in the first place. For example, he blamed the Republican budget for his drawdown of military strength to anemic levels. Not only that, an analysis of federal grants by Reuters and the Brookings Institution shows nObama funneling more money to states he won in 2012 than to states he didn't. On average, blue states saw their federal dole decline 25% while red states saw the payout slashed 40%. As Congress banned the practice of earmarking funds, the executive branch picked up that power. It's all been a strategy to further nObama's "middle-crush economics," as he's about to introduce a budget to Congress that lifts sequestration entirely. It's for the middle class, leftists like Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) argue: "Arbitrary cuts through sequestration never made sense, and House Democrats have consistently supported replacing them with a smarter, more balanced approach to long-term deficit reduction. What our country needs is a growing economy that works for all Americans, not just the wealthy few." But waging class warfare and then redistributing the loot on vote-buying schemes won't accomplish economic growth.  -The Patriot Post 
 

 CBO Says nObamaCare to Cost Less? Yeah, Right  
Two projections about nObamaCare in the Congressional Budget Office's latest report will probably contradict each other. First came the breathless news that the government will spend 20% less than what the CBO first divined back in April. Now, the government is expected to spend $1.35 trillion from 2016 to 2025 -- $2 trillion in expenses offset by income from penalty payments and other tax revenue. Here's what CBS News has to say about it: "Consequently, the CBO reduced its 10-year cost estimate for nObamacare by $101 billion by making the following changes: It's predicting the government will spend $68 billion less on nObamacare subsidies, spend $59 billion more on Medicaid, and bring in $97 billion more in revenues from projected changes in employer-based coverage. Additionally, the CBO is projecting the government will spend $5 billion more due to changes in estimated penalty payments and certain taxes collected." In short, they are expecting businesses to pick up a larger portion of the nation's health care tab. But the CBO also says 10 million Americans will lose employer-provided insurance during that same period. With the track record the federal government has on nObamaCare promises, expect to see a revision soon.  -The Patriot Post 
 
 White House: Taliban 'Insurgents,' Not Terrorists  
ABC News' Jonathan Karl wanted to know: What was the difference between the Bowe Bergdahl exchange with the Taliban and Jordan's attempted swap of prisoners with ISIL? When Karl brought the question up at a White House press conference, Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz responded that prisoner exchange is a "traditional end of conflict transaction." But then Schultz said, "I would also point out that the Taliban is an armed insurgency. ISIL is a terrorist group. So we don't make concessions to terrorist groups." So if the full brunt of the U.S. military is thrown against a terrorist organization, it legitimizes the organization in the eyes of the nObama administration? This is just another example of nObama playing verbal gymnastics, obfuscating his foreign policy. As political analyst Charles Krauthammer observed, the Taliban "slits throats, it attacks busses, it drives car bombs into markets, and it's not a terrorist group? Can you ever get tired of hearing yourself talk, much less making it all about you? Not if you're Barack nObama. The president made a stop in New Delhi this week to deliver a speech that was once again replete with personal pronouns. After analyzing the yawn-inducing remarks, Grabien reported, "Somehow in the span of just 33 minutes, nObama referenced himself 118 times." They added, "For those keeping score at home, that's 3.5 nObama references per minute." Whether he's demogugeing here at home, or proselytizing abroad, it's never about "We the People," as the beginning words of the U.S. Constitution make clear. It's about "I, Barack nObama." As if that weren't embarrassing enough, the man actually believes he's accomplished something. 
 
 Virginia Senate Defends Right to Bear Arms  
The proposal to restrict the Second Amendment rights of Virginians backfired on Governor Terry McAuliffe when he watched his bills die in committee while measures granting greater gun freedom moved forward. McAuliffe announced in December gun control would be a cornerstone of his administration, such as renewing Virginia's expired law limiting handgun purchases to once a month.  Qaddafi was willing to step down peacefully but Hilly prevented it  
(James Simpson) - The Citizens Commission on Benghazi revealed last year that Qaddafi was willing to step down peacefully and was in negotiations with the U.S. Government, but those negotiations ceased...AIM’s Roger Aronoff quotes their findings, “Despite the willingness of both AFRICOM Commander Gen. Carter Ham and Muammar Qaddafi to pursue the possibility of truce talks, permission was not given to Gen. Ham from his chain of command in the Pentagon and the window of opportunity closed.” The Washington Times has revealed that Hilly Clinton stepped in to quash the discussions. She would have never done this without nObama’s express permission. Now why, I ask you, would two diehard liberals dedicated to “world peace” for their entire lives miss a perfect opportunity to avoid a civil war?  Judge Jeanine "Mr. President Do You Make This Stuff Up

 New DHS Initiative Wasting Money, Reducing Border Security

 Bill O'Reilly Discusses Immigrants Taking American Jobs

Camarota details how there are roughly 2 million more immigrants working now than there was in the year 2000 and there are 1.5 million fewer American-born citizens working. Looking Away from Europe’s Muslim Problem

     (city-journal.org) - Steven Emerson, the expert on terrorism, has caused a sigh of relief among the bien pensants of the Western world. By making inaccurate and false claims on Fox News, he has enabled them to pour righteous scorn on him and thereby avoid thinking about uncomfortable social realities.

     Emerson claimed that Birmingham, the second-largest city in Britain, was “totally” Muslim. In the last census, in 2011, 21.8 percent of the city’s inhabitants said that they were Muslim. This percentage is likely to rise because of higher birth rates among Muslims, immigration, and the departure of white Christians. Residents of Birmingham who identified themselves as “white British” declined by 11 percent between 2001 and 2011, while the “white Irish” declined by 33 percent. The proportion of Christians would have decreased further had it not been for the arrival of Eastern Europeans. Meanwhile, the Muslim Pakistani and Bangladeshi populations increased over those ten years by 40 and 50 percent, respectively, and the Arab population rose to 1 percent from zero percent. Whether this matters, whether it fills you with joy or apprehension, or leaves you indifferent, depends upon your political outlook—and perhaps on where you live.

     Since ethnic and religious groups are not scattered evenly throughout Birmingham, moreover, the population in some areas is overwhelmingly Muslim. Emerson referred to some of these areas as “no-go zones.” White women report being verbally abused there, as sluts ex officio as it were, though it would not be true to say that any of the areas are truly “no-go.” One, for example, is notable for its profusion of small, cheap, and good restaurants, patronized by the rest of the population. No part of Birmingham is as cut off from the rest of the city as are some of the banlieues of Paris. Physical (if not social) mixing of populations is evident.

     In Britain, Muslim populations like those in Birmingham have relatively poor educational attainment and high rates of youth unemployment, crime, and imprisonment. This is not likely the result of discrimination, because Hindus and Sikhs, present also in large numbers, have lower rates of youth unemployment than whites and much lower levels of crime than whites. The Sikhs have the second-highest average household wealth when such wealth is broken down by religious affiliation. Sikh households are richer than Christian ones; Muslim households are much poorer. The causes of this disparity are a matter of speculation, and of course, group characteristics don’t apply to every individual.

     Because of their high rates of consanguineous marriage, Muslim children have relatively high rates of serious genetic conditions, about which a kind of omertà has long prevailed, though it is not uniquely medical. In my experience, school inspectors never inquire as to why Muslim girls go missing from school for long periods, though I have known white parents prosecuted because their refractory adolescent child failed to attend school as the law required for only short periods. The same kind of omertà was surely one reason for the shameful disregard shown by the police in Rotherham of the systematic sexual abuse of young white girls by Muslim men there—though whether the police were more afraid of Muslim reaction or accusations of racism in the liberal press is uncertain.

     Forced marriage (very different from arranged marriage) is common among the Muslims, though it is difficult because of social secrecy to estimate just how common. Certainly I was able to recognize a pattern among my young Muslim female patients, down to the withholding of their passports when they returned “home” to Pakistan, aged between 15 and 20, to marry their first cousin in their “home” village. Resignation to their fate merged by degrees into consent; all of them knew of honor killings of young women such as themselves, which exerted the same psychological effect as lynching did on blacks in the American South.

     Supposedly to placate Muslim sentiment, local authorities have sometimes agreed to or imposed measures worthy of an apartheid regime. For example, the Birmingham Central Library provided women-only tables, in practice for the use of Muslim women. I don’t know whether this gesture came in response to a request or was an anticipatory cringe; the argument in its favor would almost certainly have been that without such separate facilities Muslim women would not have been allowed by their males to use the library at all. It is unlikely that such an argument would have succeeded for any other religious or social group, and indeed it would have provoked feminist ire, in this case notably absent, presumably because of fear.

     In France, the problems are both similar and different. France is de jure secular, Britain only de facto. This difference leads to opposing views on such matters as the wearing of the veil. The relative inflexibility of French labor laws virtually guarantees a higher unemployment rate, though not necessarily a lower income, among youth of the lowest social class. The geographical and social origins of most of France’s Muslims are different from those of Britain’s: North African rather than Indian subcontinental. Since the fate of immigrants depends on what they bring with them as well as their reception in their new country, and since Islam, whatever its claims, does not exhaust a people’s cultural characteristics, differences are only to be expected.

     But similarities are also striking: for example, low levels of educational achievement and high rates of youth unemployment and crime (60 percent to 70 percent of French prisoners are Muslim, on some estimates, and this is unlikely to be the result of prejudice alone, even if such prejudice exists). These are not characteristic of other immigrant groups, for example the Vietnamese.

     While some of the banlieues of Paris and other big cities are relatively cut off from their metropolises, as were the townships of South Africa, it would be an exaggeration to call them no-go areas—even if that is what some of the criminal youth would like them to be, so that they can get on with their domination and trafficking with more impunity than they already enjoy. Schools and other state or public institutions remain in these areas. The police and the fire brigade may sometimes be stoned by the grateful recipients of their services, but they are not totally absent. They are therefore not extra-territorial in the most literal sense. Other European countries—Belgium and Sweden, for example—have not dissimilar problems.

     But of course the most worrying aspect of the situation is the attraction of jihadi ideology for young Muslims. It is impossible to gauge exactly the degree or strength of support for it: opinion surveys are all but useless. The least one can say, however, is that jihadism attracts both those with bright and dim futures, and according to official calculations, some 2,200 youthful jihadis from France, Britain, and Belgium alone have gone to Syria. This is a far more than sufficient pool of murderous religious ideologues to cause untold havoc in Europe.

     By his inaccuracy, distortions, and exaggerations, however, Steven Emerson has provided a convenient and enjoyable distraction for his critics, an excuse for them to indulge in displacement activity, like mice that lick their paws when faced by a cat. It is easier to mock him than to suggest the correct way to deal with the threat of Islamism. It is easier and more fun for the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, to sue Fox News (for what, exactly?) than to improve life in the largely Muslim banlieue of Clichy-sous-Bois. Here is a resident’s testimonial to that suburb of Hidalgo’s city: “A piece of advice: come armed! What I like about Clichy-sous-Bois? No need to look for public toilets. They are under the sky, in the buildings. What don’t I like about Clichy-sous-Bois? What can I say . . . No, it would take too long. I’m going to vomit.”
