We stand with Colin Kaepernick
Americas must realize that self-scrutiny is not treason. Self-examination is not disloyalty. Truth and knowledge diffused among the people are necessary for the reclamation and preservation of our Democracy, rights, freedom and liberties.
True Americans are these that stand for our U.S Constitution our freedom, Liberty; and most important our true moral values, principles and integrity.
This is the truth, self-interest and greed destroyed the principles and moral values of most Americans, but thanks God almighty, God reserved few good Americans that really care about our country and have the courage to stand for truth and justice for the average American, they know the roots of America's decay and the Washington rampant corruption that like cancer will demise our country. Today these that really love our country are showing that as Americans it is our duty and responsibility to stand for the truth and show the world that we will not let this corrupt government act as a dictator and the world’s bully on the name of America, Democracy, human rights, freedom and Liberty; not in the name of the American people. We can’t continue being in complete denial of what we have become; the exploiters of our own people, the predator that destroy our environment and that this greed for money and power have taken over our morality, principles and destroyed what America stand for.
Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem is a form of demonstration that as a true American he will not stand for hypocrisy and ignore what we have become, Today America it is not the America we was born and learn to love. Our country has become a police state; we have as a government a dictator a puppet of the IMF the World Bank, the Multinational corporations and the Bankers;they are the neo-liberals the war mongers, promoters of free trade and globalization. This is not the America that true Americans will stand for; freedom is not free, that is why Colin Kaepernick’, put at risk his future for the love of his country, the United States of America and exposed this criminal enterprise that usurped the glorious name of United States of America to commit crimes against humanity with impunity in the name of the American people.
Fellow Patriots if you love America the glorious country of the past, support Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem, this is his right to show the world that he will not stand for this corrupt government that trashed our constitution and that by deception transformed our country into a police state where the police, the FBI, The CIA, La DEA and most federal and state agencies have become the predators of the American people.

The Force Awakens opened this Friday to packed theaters across America. I haven’t seen it for a number of reasons, among which is an unwillingness to tent out for days just to buy tickets. The film will nonetheless make oodles of money, I’m sure, as Star Wars has replaced the Bible as Western civilization’s primary cultural commonality, both relevant and accessible to people across the societal spectrum.
This seventh chapter of the epic space opera may be the first to steer clear of political themes. According to film critic Matt Singer, “The Force Awakens is — arguably to its detriment — completely uninterested in politics.” This newfound political disinterest may have something to do with the fact that Star Wars is no longer the property of its creator, George Lucas, who infused the prequels and, to a lesser extent, the original trilogy, with political overtones.
Star Wars has never been what it appears to be—good clean fun with spaceships and laser beams. Don’t feel bad; that’s what I thought it was too when I was a little kid playing with action figures.
Space ships and laser beams are the packaging not the story. To get to the real story it’s necessary to turn the clock back to April 1973, a time of great disillusionment, when the last American combat troops were withdrawing from Vietnam and the Watergate hearings were only a month away. With these generation-shaping events as a backdrop, twenty-eight year old George Lucas began typing the story of a courageous farm boy from the galaxy’s rural backwaters who took on a rotting empire replete with militarism and darkness—and won.
He told his audience that it all took place “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” but its actual setting was both contemporary and terrestrial. Star Wars was an allegory for the world as seen through the eyes of a baby boomer who had come of age on a college campus in the 1960s, who had felt the draft board breathing down his neck, and who had imbibed the spirit of San Francisco, where he was living at the time. The militaristic empire he imagined was his own country and the rebels were communist Vietnamese, though they could have been any number of “anti-imperialist” forces around the globe—the ANC in South Africa, the Tupamaros in Uruguay, etc. The Death Star was a warning against the destructive power of nuclear weapons, though it could be seen as analogous to the Pentagon. Darth Vader? Probably Dick Nixon or just a stand-in for the soulless admirals and generals in command of the war machine.
Lucas had other influences, of course, because inspiration is never that simple. Star Wars was also one part Flash Gordon serial and one part gun-slinging western with a whole heap of Kurosawa’s samurai cinema thrown in. The story also paralleled the Third Reich, starring Darth Vader as Hitler and stormtroopers as, well…stormtroopers.
But it was always about America, the only country George Lucas had ever known. If the film evoked images of Nazi Germany, the logical conclusion was that that’s what America had become or was on the verge of becoming. Star Wars could be read as a cautionary tale of what might happen if we didn’t change course.
Consider some of the notes Lucas scribbled in late 1973: “Aquilae is a small independent country like North Vietnam, threatened by a neighbour or provincial rebellion, instigated by gangsters aided by empire. Fight to get rightful planet back. Half of the system has been lost to gangsters…The empire is like America ten years from now, after gangsters assassinated the emperor and were elevated to power in a rigged election…We are at a turning point: fascism or revolution.”
That’s not exactly the Star Wars we all know and love, largely because Lucas’s concept still had a lot of growing to do, but the framework was there. From its earliest drafts, the script told the story of a scrappy underdog, patterned after North Vietnam, doing battle with a corrupt American empire. The underdog had only his convictions to give him heart, while the empire, which seemed invincible, was actually rotten to the core.
The politics got even more heavy in the prequels, culminating in the hyperpolitical Revenge of the Sith, which the Washington Post jokingly dubbed The Empire Strikes Bush. Actually, the Galactic Empire is Bush, but I understand it’s a fun witticism. Sith’s subliminal messages were not lost on The New York Times’s film reviewer A.O. Scott, who wrote: “’Revenge of the Sith’ is about how a republic dismantles its own democratic principles, about how politics becomes militarized, about how a Manichaean ideology undermines the rational exercise of power. Mr. Lucas is clearly jabbing his light saber in the direction of some real-world political leaders. At one point, Darth Vader…echoing the words of George W. Bush, hisses at Obi-Wan, ‘If you’re not with me, you’re my enemy.’”
That wasn’t really Darth Vader; or not yet. It was Anakin Skywalker, but clearly he was mimicking Bush’s post-9/11 admonition to foreign leaders, “Either you’re with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
So you can imagine my disappointment when I learned that the newest film would abstain from political commentary. That’s really unfortunate because we need it now more than ever. We’re a nation adrift, led by a corrupt, unprincipled political class that seems to have pulled the wool over the eyes of half the population.
Consider for a moment the scene in Revenge of the Sith in which Emperor Palpatine convinces the Senate to cede unprecedented power to him, thus establishing the Galactic Empire “in order to secure the security” of the Republic. Queen Amidala famously remarks “So this is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause.” Lucas was surely knocking Bush though it’s even more relevant today. The scene seemed a clever reference to the PATRIOT Act which, in case you haven’t noticed, is still the law of the land because Barack Obama approved its extension. But the Senate scene was about a lot more than just the PATRIOT Act; it was about our willingness, in times of trouble, to cede the power vested in the people and their elected representatives to a single charismatic leader. In light of Obama’s imperial presidency, the scene has assumed new meaning.
Richard Nixon and George W. Bush weren’t great presidents but neither were they Emperor Palpatine. I can’t say the same about President Obama who really does bear a striking resemblance to that wrinkled geezer in a hoody. So why can’t we make a movie about his policies, about his administration?
The Obama Administration has given us so much material to work with, the script would practically write itself. Imagine an evil Sith Lord who sweeps away any restraints on his authority with the words, “If the Senate won’t act, I will” or “We can’t wait for (fill in the blank).” The same Sith Lord could go to war in a sandy place resembling Tatooine without the approval of the Senate. Here’s a better one—the aforementioned villain pits one alien race against another (Jawas vs. Ewoks?) with his constantly divisive rhetoric, then uses the crisis to snatch up all the blasters and lightsabers in the galaxy. Stormtroopers go planet to planet, kicking down doors and confiscating anything that resembles a weapon. One of the Sith Lord’s closest advisors then turns to his boss and mutters something like “Never let a crisis go to waste.” Another idea: A council of supposed sages, call them judges if you will, abandon their fidelity to the law they swore to uphold and begin making decisions based on their own personal agendas. Here’s a good one—the Jedi are prohibited from practicing their ancient religion for fear that some people might get their feelings hurt.
Why, oh why, did Star Wars stop being political at the very moment that the most Palpatine-esque president ever to defile the Oval Office came to power? Maybe it’s because George Lucas isn’t at the helm anymore, though it’s doubtful that his directing and/or production would have made a difference. I suspect that The Force Awakens would still avoid criticizing the president because Lucas has, or once had, a man-crush on him. Said Lucas in 2008: “We have a hero in the making back in the United States today because we have a new candidate for president of the United States, Barack Obama.” Whether Lucas still feels that way is unknown. Perhaps he’s been appalled with what he’s seen in the ensuing seven years but I doubt it.
It’s almost as if political commentary just isn’t cool in show biz anymore. Would a major movie studio even make a film that was so obviously critical of this president and his policies? I have my doubts. Dissent isn’t patriotic anymore, less so in Hollywood, so I guess we’ll have to settle for spaceships and laser beams. What a pity.

Fellow Americans, the greatest tragedy of this period of The America government corruption and lack of principles and values that is eroding our families, our communities and the country’s economic; it is not the elite that control our government, but the appalling silence of the good people of this country.
Most Americans know that Obama is the worse president of today, but the demise of our country start with Ronald Reagan, American’s trust in the government contributed to the silence; for 35 years Americans put up with government corruption and deception out of ignorance, they believe in the government because the press that supposed to report the truth, sold out to the elite of this country and print what the elite want; as consequence the free press becomes the propaganda machinery that brainwashed the American people. Now thanks to the technology we have today, most Americans are better inform and are learning what our politicians are doing to us.
Col. Harry Riley, founder of “Operation American Spring”, expectations that millions of Americans will respond to his call, and demand that Obama and other members of his administration to resign is what all Americans should do. The removal of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi and Eric Holder is a must, they all are traitors they betray us, but their worse crime is; the demise of the peoples trust in the government.
Our country today is run by a corrupt administration that trashed our constitution and our God given rights, they are making us economic slaves. Our founders believed that when our government breaks our own laws and abuse the power granted by the people and become a government without moral authority; is a tyranny government and must be remove.

Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death This is the complete text of Patrick Henry's speech at St. John's Church in Richmond, Virginia on March 23, 1775. No man, Mr. President, thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony.
The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings. Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves and the House. Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with those warlike preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us: they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne! In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free — if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending — if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained — we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of hosts is all that is left us! They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable — and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come. It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace — but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death! |

In Maryland, Free State Patriots has conducted forums for vetting patriot candidates, using the tools of the Patriot Vetting Committee. These are available free to all patriot groups. We have endorsed several solid patriot candidates who are running hard for election in November.
In the process of the forums, as moderator, I have learned a lot about issues, terms and communication, which I am organizing into commentaries. I'm sharing this information with any patriot group in the country. Here are the particulars:
In Maryland, PVC-affiliated 'Free State Patriots" (FSP) has now completed a series of candidate vetting forums, which has already produced some excellent results. FSP patriot candidates endorsed and still actively running in the November elections are : Daniel Bongino (US Senate); Frank Mirabile (US congress - 07) Ken Timmerman (US congress 08) and Faith Loudon (US congress - 04).
Beyond that, as moderator of the forums, I have compiled a series of "lessons" we have learned from this experience, which can benefit patriot candidates anywhere.
Part 1: "Glossary of Terms" -- meaning of phrases, such as 'safety net" used in radical socialism to disguise and confuse their true meaning. Exposing lies is often the main way of assuring good communication with voters.
Part 2: "Issues" -- key areas of interest in the elections, such as 'deficit spending" "illegal immigration" and "education" -- comments about each, including facts, background, and proposed solutions to help sharpen the clear presentation of issues to the general public; and in debate with candidates embracing radical socialism.

I found something similar on a friend's post last night. I had to expand on what was there and bring it HOME!
You cannot straddle the fence. You have to make a choice! Are you an American, or not? Being American depends on which side of the fence are you on! Are you an American or socialist? You cannot be BOTH! For example:
- If an American doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one. But if a socialist doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
- If an American is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat. If a socialist is a vegetarian, he wants all meat product banned and people who eat them taxed at a higher rate.
- If an American is a homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a socialist is a homosexual, he demands legislation to garner respect and laws to prosecute anyone who would dare speak against a LIFESTYLE!
- If an American is down and out, he gets up off of his butt and does everything he can to make his situation better. If a socialist is down and out, he wonders who is going to take care of him and has the audacity to complain when the government is slow to respond!
- If an American doesn’t like a TV channel, he changes the channel and doesn’t buy the products that are advertised on the channel. If a socialist doesn’t like a channel, they DEMAND that the government shut down that channel for being “too right wing!”
- If an American is a non-believer, he simply does not go to church. If a socialist is a non-believer, he wants any mention of God or religion silenced by the government and within the government.
- If an American decides he needs healthcare, he goes about shopping for it or finds a job that provides it for him and his family. If a socialist wants healthcare, he demands that everyone ELSE pay for his and everyone elses! After all…that is the “fair way to be!”
- If an American reads this, he’ll forward it to others with pride. If a socialist reads this, he will be “offended!”
I am a TRUE American. My family has spilled blood in every war since we kicked the British out over 200 years ago. We were on BOTH sides of the Civil War! We are American’s by BIRTH and by RIGHT! And now, as an American, I am voicing my concerns about where this nation is headed…and that direction is currently toward a socialist (even Marxist) philosophy. I am SICK AND TIRED of those who promote a socialist agenda without concern for us Americans! And now I am going to do something about it! I am going to speak the TRUTH and I do so without regard for the socialist ideology!
I am posting this on Facebook as a result of my pride in this nation…not as an offense to Americans. I have many friends who believe in “socialized society” and I care deeply for every one of them. I respect their right for their beliefs MUCH MORE than they respect mine. They are even sincere in their beliefs. But they are SINCERELY WRONG! I can only hope that this posting will shake them to their core and help them remember what made this nation great. If they are offended; then too bad! I will no longer pander to their “rights” or their “demands!”
The GOVERNMENT does not care about the individual like we can one-on-one, as neighbors and friends. (This conflicts with the belief of the socialist who think the government should supply all our needs). The GOVERNMENT cannot solve the problems of this nation through legislation and bail-outs. (Again, there is a conflict with the socialist). The GOVERNMENT cannot solve the problems of this nation through socialized medicine, universal healthcare, and by silencing the voice of the individual. (Again, not only is this a conflict, but it ticks the socialist off to hear these words!)
Only WE…the TRUE Americans…can save our nation. We do it through hard work and sacrifice. We do it by helping our neighbors and opening our homes to those less fortunate. America is NOT Republican or Democrat. America is PEOPLE! We the People! And the American people are going to take this nation back!
Not ONE single social program has made this nation better in the past 100 years. Social Security has become a strain on our tax base and will be completely broke within 20 years. It has FAILED! The Great Society (commonly known as Welfare) IS a strain on society and has enslaved millions over the past 40 years leaving them dejected and hopeless. Yes…SOME have benefited. But MORE have become powerless and struggle with poverty that none in our day should endure. By and far it has done more harm than good. National Healthcare will only add to the burden we must ALL shoulder…and that is downright un-American! It is time to reverse the socialist course this nation has bent toward – especially the turn it has made since January 2009!
I challenge EVERYONE to read this and objectify our society. Are we better off (socially or economically) than we were 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, or even 70 years ago? Income taxes (not the rich) brought us into our first depression. All you have to do is study history. Wartime production helped bring us out of that depression! Is that what we want? World War III? World War II was brought about by “isolationism” because the liberals (socialists) of the time did not “want to get involved in the war in Europe!” It came to our front door. Now we face a new enemy…one that hates America because of our freedom. Want to wait until they attack again? Want to let a rogue power, like Iran, obtain a couple of nuclear warheads? Or do you want to stop them before they have a chance to bow up and strike an ally or, worse yet, our homeland?
The fact of the matter is…I will stand with my last breath and defend this nation side-by-side with ANYONE who loves it as much as I do. Your race, sex, religion, age, eye-color, number of limbs, ability to see, hear, smell, taste, or talk does not matter to me. If you are an American and you care about this nation and what it stands for MORE than you care what this nation does for you; then we are together. But if you have forgotten the words of JFK and are standing there complaining about what the government has or has not done for you, then you are NOT an American and you should get out while the getting is good. “Ask NOT what America can do for you!”
I am just the tip of the iceberg. Americans are waking up and taking back this nation all over the place and from every walk of life. Socialistic attitudes (like those currently taking place with “Occupy Wall Street”) will be defeated post haste. Socialism WILL become a thing of the past within my lifetime. And any future attempts for a socialist takeover will be dealt with quickly and without concern for their “feelings!” Americans are still the majority in this land despite the Socialist strongholds found on the left and right coasts! Americans are STILL the majority despite the manure you see on CNN and the other liberal media ilk!
America is about to experience the “Second American Revolution!” It will take place in the hearts and minds of people from coast to coast and from sea to shining sea! I love this nation and will stand firm for the rights of all Americans. I will stand just as firm AGAINST the socialist agenda!
Give me liberty or give me death! But don’t show up unarmed! I am going to fight with my dying breath for the liberty my family has fought to preserve for 235 years! And I will fight harder and longer than any socialistic punk. You have 235 years of catching up to do! I am well armed and ready to take your way of thinking OUT of my country! Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, and George Washington, do these names make you proud to be an American?
What makes them a Renaissance Patriot? If we look at what these founding Fathers had in common could we stack up?
All these Heroes had different back grounds before and during the American Revolution, some had a formal education while others were self educated.
Of them I think Mr. Benjamin Franklin was the most rounded of them all in the terms of a ‘Renaissance Man’.
Mr. Franklin was a self educated person, having started working at a young age as an apprentice for his Uncle at a print shop.
Although very few historians actually touch on the work experience young Mr. Franklin did, you would have to imagine that the work was physically demanding even at that time period in American history.
Mr. Franklin was famous for different things, discovering electricity, inventing the ‘pot belly stove’ are among his accomplishments, he was also instrumental in the writing of the US Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America.
These are a few of Mr. Franklin’s varied accomplishments; our historians will embellish or reduce his work towards making this the Greatest Nation in the history of the world.
My question still stands: “Are you a Renaissance patriot?’
Most people today have at least two years of college (I do) and have a few talents.
Unlike Mr. Franklin’s time we do very little hunting and gathering for our survival (unless you call shopping at the local super stores hunting and gathering) because our society has innovated to a point where all our needs are produced and brought to us by others in the Free Market system we have created over the centuries.
“I have little doubt that if a disaster hit this Great Country that a lot of people would not survive past two weeks.”
My reasoning for this statement?
Because on a whole our society has moved from the ‘hunter/gather’ society to a higher plain of existence, where food and shelter is provided for monetary gain by other individuals.
I am not saying that this is wrong what I am saying is that we as a society have lost some of the things that makes our Fore Fathers and Founding Fathers the Renaissance Men of their time.
I doubt seriously more than 0.01% of the US population could hunt for food or more than 0.1% could actually till the soil, plant the seeds, and harvest the crop that they grow.
Of course the cautious person will have stockpiled (do not confuse this with hoarding) enough food for a minimum of two months along with the necessities for survival in the event of a disaster.
This type of planning is wise because a natural disaster can strike anywhere at any time and those that denounce “being prepared” as unpatriotic or even criminal are just stupid.
These are the people that would vote for a tax increase on you to pay for their survival or would try to take what you have when a disaster strikes. (During the flooding of New Orleans in 2005 shop owners were disarmed by the local police, then the thieves broke in to shops and stole what ever they wanted. They were not looking for food and survival goods no they were stealing TVs, stereos, and anything else that they took a fancy to.)
A modern day Renaissance person would have varied talents such as the ability to hunt or gather the food and materials to survive.
Other talents that would be handy would be the use of non powered tools; can you use an ax properly? Do you own wood working tools such as a hammer, saw, maybe a plane?
If your car broke down could you fix it? (I hate to say this but if a car made after 1991 broke down electronically you could not fix it, neither could I and I am a certified Computer Technician). Such as: could you remove a starter and repair it if failed?
If the USA was attacked by a belligerent nation could you survive with out your computer, cell phone, or other electronic devices?
This is not a scare tactic but a reality in the world of today. There are enemies of this Great Nation that have plans to take out any electronic device that is not shielded or hardened in such a way that electro magnetic impulse (EMP) will not affect it. (Are you aware that a car built prior to 1984, and not modified to have an ‘electronic’ ignition, will survive an EMP attack?)
When you bought that fancy new telephone with all those neat new features did you happen to keep that old rotary dial phone? Your fancy new phone will not survive an EMP attack but that old rotary phone will and so will 90% of the phone lines in the USA. (Garage sales anyone?)
The more people that have those ‘Renaissance’ talents we as the Greatest Nation this world has know will be able to over come natural disasters and attacks by enemies foreign and domestic.
Considering the state of affairs in the USA and the world today would you consider learning a few of these talents that would insure your families’ survival in the advent of a natural disaster or an attack from a foreign or domestic source?
A Renaissance Patriot would …
Since my last post, Saturday, August 6, 2011, I have noticed some curious interest. I own my own company and I regularly check the "hits" on my website for market analysis. Each day's data are available the next day. What I found was one hit from guess where? Moscow, Russia. Moreover, I recall having hits from two separate individuals back about two years ago when I was writing on another blog. The nature and content of those blogs were like my Saturday blog. (http://teapartyorg.ning.com/profiles/blogs/how-to-defeat-the-invisible-enemy-within) I had no such interest from Moscow between then and now until Saturday.
So, what am I implying? Well, since the content of my August 6th blog is essentially anti-communist, pro-American, and an individual from the most infamous Communist country apparently wanted to find out more about me, we have to assume that the Communists in Moscow find what I said interesting. More likely, my content was threatening to the Communist agenda. Recall from that August 6th blog, I tied the Democratic Party in America directly to the Communist Party.
Shifting gears, it seems to me the Tea Party embodies the same spirit of independence that was present during the American Revolution in 1776; that courageous plan to free ourselves of tyranny from Great Britain. Although history generally gives little credit to the great patriot, Patrick Henry (For example, his name was not on the Declaration of Independence.), Henry was actually THE leader of the fight for our independence. I encourage you to read what you can about Mr. Henry. For example, the book by Norine Campbell (1969) entitled "Patrick Henry: Patriot and Statesman" (Devin-Adair) is a good primer.
What I have found in reading this important book is the striking similarity in the events and spirit of our American Revolution and the current one that we now lead. One thing I would like to share here, and then I will be through for now, is that back then, the Patriots had the same problem as we concerning half-hearted politicians. Many wanted to stay safe under the King of England and not venture forth to form a new, independent country. Specifically, we know that our Republican Party suffers from "moderate" members. Rush Limbaugh has correctly identified moderates as actually being liberals in disguise, and he's right. The Patriots had the same problem.
Campbell supports this conclusion with a quote of Patrick Henry's comments when he and his colleagues were organizing the "resolutions for independence" on May 20, 1776. According to a quote in Campbell's book, Patrick Henry said (p. 212):
"Moderation falsely so called, hath nearly brought on us final ruin. And to see those who have so fatally advised us, still guiding, or at least sharing our public councils alarms me."
In other words, there is indeed good reason to rid ourselves of so-called moderates because they provide "false" guidance and leadership. As I have said before, who cares if they call us a silly name such as "extremists"? We must overcome this kind of fear. As soldiers, we must not turn back or sway from side to side, but remain steadfast and headstrong without compromise! But we MUST continue to aggressively weed-out the spineless lest we lose the Republic for which our brave have already fought for and died.

The Texas Rangers are the second oldest state law enforcement agency in the United States. They initially functioned as a paramilitary force during the time that the Republic of Texas was an independent country. Today the Rangers function as the Texas State Bureau of Investigation. Over time, they have investigated and captured criminals spanning from murderers (John Wesley Hardin), to bank robbers (Bonnie & Clyde), to corrupt politicians. As part of their long and colorful history, the Rangers have developed quite a reputation. That reputation was earned by the Rangers time after time taking on some of the most evil people in society with a relatively small number of men. As an example, there were only 144 Rangers in 2009.
One enduring story about the Rangers from 1896 includes the original occurrence of the well-known saying: “One Riot, One Ranger”. In response to the illegal fight that was scheduled to break out in Dallas, the Rangers sent one man, Captain Bill McDonald to prevent the riot. Although many in the public were concerned that the Rangers only sent one man to address the fight, Captain McDonald was accustomed to being outnumbered. To jump to the end of the story, of course McDonald was successful in achieving his mission and preventing the fight. However it is Captain McDonald’s response to the Mayor of Dallas that echoes through Ranger history. When the Mayor questioned McDonald regarding why he didn’t have more Rangers with him, the Captain replied (paraphrased), “One Riot, One Ranger”.
Sometimes, the right person in the right place at the right time makes all the difference. Today America’s Patriots face a similar challenge in being outnumbered by those who are plotting to do evil in our society. Continue...
Invisible Tea Party Heroes

The good news is emerging; cadres of invisible Patriots are empowering the Tea Party, working tirelessly behind the scenes to restore America. The names of the invisible Patriots carry no political weight, they do not seek glory, their acts will never be recorded in history books, but they are indispensible in the fight against the darkness which covers America today. These invisible Patriots are the true Americans guarding all we hold dear, many of them members of the Tea Party.
You see, the acts of the Tea Party are etched upon our memories and will be passed down to future generations in the form of folk stories and tales of greatness. Their humble beginnings were slated in courageous acts just a few short years ago, when the term 'Tea Party' was new and fresh. At a time most people thought a Tea Party was either a dusty page in our history books stemming from the acts in 1773 or a garden party of old ladies wearing funny hats, sipping tea.
Surprisingly enough, one day, as if by Divine design, good-hearted Citizens across America could no longer stomach the vile disembowelment of our Constitution by those elected to protect it.
Listen up, as if by one voice a few said; "I'm As Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore." Out of frustration and anger, rag-tag groups of Moms, Dads, Grandparents and Singles, ordinary people dared to believe they could change the status quo. It was then the first idea of an empowered Citizenry was reborn.
Yes, reborn was the memory of how our beloved nation was once a grand country filled with great people, bearing ostentatious dreams. A glimmer of hope raced across our 'Nations-soul' screaming for the rekindling of faith in our flag, allegiance to our nation and obedience to our sacred Constitution. A spark of hope began to glow like a tiny ember fighting for brilliance on a sodden and barren land.
Truthfully, could 'We The People' once again rise up and fulfill those lofty dreams which were penned in 1776? Shall we defy the Washington Pharisees and become the generation which will once again, shape our Beloved Nation, and the world as well? Should we dare to dream? 'We The People' have the power to change, shape and perfect our precious Freedom which was entrusted to us centuries ago by our heroic Founding Fathers.
So instead of wishful thinking, could we once again hold our heads high, bow to no one and declare; 'WE THE PEOPLE RULE!' The faith of the few began to grow, first in living-room meetings, then across telephone lines, cell phone conference calls until bursting out at the seams, we flowed into rented halls and then to our streets.
Silently, 'We The People' began to rise up against the entrenched Washington oligarchy, unified our voices, our efforts and our will into one cohesive movement, not just of people, but of souls filled with the dream of Freedom.
Astonishing, isn't it? Many wondered who would lead us, who would have the foresight, who could we trust with our most precious asset, our sovereignty
Finally, egos aside, as if by a Divine hand, calmness came across the rising multitude and 'We The People' discovered who will be our leader, and it was "US" 'We The People'! Each, and every one of us, are the leaders of America, individually and collectively. The great, the small, the rich and the poor, 'We The People' realized in one spectacular moment, we are the leaders of our Beloved Nation, upon our shoulders rests the weight of our government. By our hand we shall purpose who we are, and how we shall live.
Fact is: we no longer follow the false prophets of politics; instead we follow our conscience that God above has endowed us with. We, each and every one of us, must lead. We will march, we will work and we shall rule once again.
It's simple; the forgotten spirit of our 1776 Nation was reborn, not in hollow arrogance, but in humbleness, finding the 'accolades' few and far between.
I'll tell you, it is with this spirit the 'Tea Party' was forged. In defiance of the status quo, in spite of the 'Nay Sayers,' in the face of ridicule and hatred, the American spirit was rekindled, this time never to be extinguished.
Let's face it, we announced to Washington, and the world, we have 'awakened' by sending tons of tea bags to Washington with a clear and concise message: "Don't Tread On Me!" and the political Pharisees scoffed and said 'it will pass.' We matched on Washington with one million Patriots strong, and the media turned the camera lens elsewhere and said, 'it will pass.' We came again by the hundreds of thousands to Restore Honor, and the oligarchy sighed and said; 'it will pass.' We manned our posts and voted our conscience and dozens of seats were filled with fellow Patriots, dislodging a staggering number of the politically impotent, and under their breath the Washington mob said; 'I hope it will pass.'
One thing I want to stress today, we are on the cusp of greatness, no longer having the luxury of waiting indolently for the next election cycle, as the cabal of darkness continues to rebuild their forces daily.
Remember, we must restore America and not stop until every political parasite is unelected and sent home in disgrace.
A word of caution: Time is short, resources are few, it's now critical for the Tea Party to build the ranks, train the new recruits and fulfill the continuing dreams of those who went before us.
But first, who will toil to make our Beloved Nation great again? Who will step up and say: 'NOT ON MY WATCH?' Who will carry the flag of restoration? The answer, while simple, is far from easy. It is the same loyal Patriots who always have carried the flag. The Moms, Dads the Grocer, Shopkeeper, the Waiter, the CEO, the Teacher and Grandma, for we are the Core of America. It is those invisible Guardians who will never have their names emblazoned on marble walls or receive a brass plaque; they are the backbone of the people, they shall restore America never asking for a thank you.
Best of all, the invisible Guardians carry the weight of our Beloved Nation not only on their shoulders, but in their hearts as well, must step forward and say: 'Count On Me.' These Patriots are not run of the mill Citizens, but selfless warriors of greatness and valor.
Yes, the common American is anything but common, for the true American Patriot is a hero of heroes.
What's more important, in this dark hour America needs Patriots to step up and reinforce the work of the Restoration of America more now than ever before. If we fail, if the task is too great, then our heritage will collapse into a useless fable of by-gone days, but if we rise up, answer the call to greatness we will write a brilliant new page upon our immortal American legacy.
