Saving Your Butt as Monetary System Collapses

Hopefully, the politicians will regain their senses in the next couple or three months and the survival information in this little blog will never have to be used . . . call the odds on that happening 200/1 since the tax and spend Democrats still control the senate and Barack Obama still wields the veto pen in the Oval Office. The last time an American President showed courage and wisdom in the face of a severe monetary crisis was 1921 (Harding slashed government spending 48%; taxes 49%; and paid down the National Debt 30% in turning the depression left him by Woodrow Wilson into the "Invisible Depression" within fifteen months).  Unfortunately,Barack Obama won't join with the Republicans to save your butt; indeed he's still suggesting mad policies (in the State of the Union speech) that guarantee the grand-daddy of all fiscal meltdowns.  Either kiss your butt goodbye, or take matters into your own hands because your survival in the coming meltdown depends upon you.

Rajjpuut began advising readers in early 2004 of the dangers represented by the sub-prime lending crisis to our economy and to their wealth. You know how that turned out . . . . Since roughly April, 2009, he’s been warning of a complete fiscal meltdown in America associated with the U.S. Dollar’s collapse (when the greenback is no longer accepted as the World’s Reserve Currency) and hyper-inflation attacks our way of life . . . since Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke has been busy at the money printing presses and electronically creating dollars as well, the 2011 dollar is technically worth 3.4 pennies of a late 2008 greenback.  Our National Debt stands at 95% of our GDP even though Ben Bernanke put the figure at 64% in a National Press Club speech three days ago (he did not include the $4.6 TRillion we've stolen from Social Security and Medicare "lockboxes" which moves the debt from $9.5 TRillion to $14.1 TRillion).  Our UNfunded liabilities stand at $113 TRillion.  We will soon be able to tax every citizen 100% on their earnings and not be able to fund the profligate Obama budget.  The nations of the world individually and the leaders of the world's monetary foundations are in agreement the American Dollar as the world's reserve currency is no longer acceptable; the system stands on the verge of disintegration and you are innocently sitting on the couch watching "reality TV" and playing video games?

To fight against this growing present threat, even more than gold, Rajjpuut has been advising readers to consider buying so-called “junk silver.” Junk silver needs a new name because purchase of a $100-face value bag of American silver coins (pre-1965 dimes, quarters, half-dollars with 90% silver content) now costs -- depending on the price of silver on a given day -- between $1,850 and $1,950 dollars. Few people realize that as an investment, silver has outperformed gold in the 21st Century. Yes, yes, gold has risen roughly 300% (quadrupled in value since the original 100% is added in) but silver has risen 521% over the same period or gone up to 621% of its original value.

One other little thing: people don’t realize is that silver is now more rare than gold. While virtually every ounce of gold that’s ever been mined is still with us today; approximately 96% of all the silver that’s ever been mined is believed lost forever. Silver has a huge present day demand and  has long dominated the industrial markets: it’s still used in photography; and is the preferred metal for electronics, pollution control, tableware and utensils; chemical catalysis; medical use; and in some countries it’s still used in coins . . . but let’s get back to the junk silver we were talking about, when silver reaches $33 per ounce, each silver dime will be worth $2.00. If hyper- inflation hits silver will be in far greater demand than that, for the price of a single silver dime, it’s likely that you’ll be able to buy enough to feed a person three-squares as merchants desperate to trade their wares for something of intrinsic/real value look to silver as their own best investment. These same merchants might NOT accept $4,000 paper dollars for the same food under the same circumstances.

Does that sound far-fetched?   At the end of the Weimar Republic’s savage hyper-inflation, German citizens in late 1923 insisted upon being paid three times daily and having splurge-breaks to run off and buy anything just so their money wouldn’t lose all its value before they could spend it. Eric Maria Remarque, famous author of All Quiet on the Western Front, displayed these facts quite graphically in his stark novel The Black Obelisk as 26 TRillion Deutsch Marks traded for one American dollar. Rajjpuut’s stamp collection contains Weimar Republic German stamps with printed prices cancelled out and new prices overprinted . . . in short, hyper-inflation is a mess you’d prefer not to deal with, but one it’s best to prepare for . . . .

However, while silver coins are a great idea, there is one truly great investment that trumps virtually everything else imaginable: farmland. Yes, real hold-in-your-hand coins are absolutely necessary, but the best investment of all over the last 40 years has been American farmland which easily outpaced bonds; stocks; gold and even silver. Farmland was about twelve times more lucrative than the Standard and Poors stock index; and more than four times better than gold during those 40 years.

While the land appreciates in value, it can also be rented out or farmed by you in case of the utter end of civilization, and NO, farmland did not fall in price during even one quarter during our recent meltdown. Investments in the stock market in 1970 (adjusted for inflation) returned only 16% and the stock market can’t save your family in a serious crisis. Just as physical silver is a great idea, owning a farmable plot of land has its great attractions as well. If that’s impossible, you can invest in private Argentine farmland for about $7 an acre; the well-respected Stansberry Report even suggests buying Argentine farm property management via NASDAQ whenever such stocks sell for below book value. To get the full (it's a long presentation) picture, visit:

We now have FEWER people working in AMERICA than we've at any time had SINCE 1981 during the early days of the Reagan administration.  We also have more people working for the government than at any time in history outside of war.
Bernanke Sobers Up, Comes Clean, Sort of

Ben Bernanke had a National Press Club audience laughing while doling out some super-serious information yesterday. For example, he reminded them that the country’s projected deficit and debt level are actually not only unsustainable but impossible . . . because the nation’s creditors at some point in the future would wise up and refuse to continue financing our country’s spending.
ALERT:   Before going further with the blog itself . . . the nation’s latest jobless numbers came out earlier today: 9.0% unemployment sounds like an improvement over the recent 9.4%  . . . unfortunately, the fact is that virtually all of the “drop” in unemployment can be traced to unemployed persons who have stopped reporting in to the nation’s Workforce Centers and therefore “fell off” the statistical data base. True unemployment now stands at just a tad below 20% if all the unemployed; and  forcible part-time workers are included . . . not to mention all the grossly under-employed who lost better jobs and are working at stop-gap situations.  Only 36,000 jobs were created last month, almost 110,000 short of the projected 145,000.  1.4 million people gave up looking for jobs through official channels last month:  1.4 million!  We now have FEWER JOBS in AMERICA than we've seen at any time SINCE 1981 during the early days of the Reagan administration. The situation is getting so hopeless that more than half of the unemployed are no longer using the official Workforce procedures . . . these fictitious unemployment numbers just prove that when it comes to statistics, garbage in = garbage out. Now let’s get back to Ben Bernanke . . . .
“By definition, the unsustainable trajectories of deficits and debt (outlined by the Congressional Budget Office, CBO) cannot actually happen because creditors would never be willing to lend to a government whose debt . . . is rising without limit.” Currently the National Debt is stated at about 60% of the economy or Gross Domestic Product (GDP) officially; but in reality the figure is much closer to 95% than 60%. More on this soon . . . Bernanke said that the 90% threshold is projected by 2020 and debt would be 150% of GDP by 2030. But Bernanke’s citing of $9.5 trillion in national debt was sinfully inaccurate because it omitted the $4.6 trillion owed by the government to trust funds for things such as Social Security and Medicare, which have paid out cash to the Treasury in exchange for promissory notes. The full national debt – when both forms of debt are included is roughly $14.6 trillion.
Mr. Bernanke also failed to acknowledge the 180-ton blue whale splashing about in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the fact that not including all our welfare programs and barring deliberately infecting all our nation’s elders simultaneous with ebola . . . the federal government is already obligated for roughly $113 TRillion in services via Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid. He also was less than forthcoming about the fact that Obamacare is now shifting a huge burden in Medicaid from the Feds onto the unwilling states which will presumably bankrupt every single state by 2026 (2023 in some less optimistic projections). To emphasize the point he was semi-obscuring, Bernanke quoted economist Herbert Stein, “If something can’t go on forever, it will stop” to exceedingly nervous Press Club laughter.
The Fed chairman strongly admonished Congress to act soon to cut spending or increase revenues (taxes), or some mix of the two,  because otherwise the U.S. economy will suffer a severe correction. “One way or the other, fiscal adjustments sufficient to stabilize the federal budget must occur at some point,” he said. Bernanke avoided predicting when the U.S. might experience a debt crisis similar to what Greece and other European countries have experienced. Bernanke suggested lawmakers should forget politics and not use the debt and debt ceiling as “bargaining chips” or resort to playing political “chicken.” He also seemingly assured Republicans that their understanding was correct,   “Under current law, if the debt limit is not extended, for a time, the Treasury has various resources that it can use to make payments on our national debt,” he said, “but beyond a certain point, (our federal government) would not have those resources and the United States could conceivably — I think this is very remote, but it’s not something you want to play around with — the United States would be forced into a position of defaulting on its debt,” he said. “And the implications of that for our financial system, for our fiscal policy, for our economy would be catastrophic.”
The twin drivers of this unsustainable national path toward debt (and he did not mention, but also toward UNfunded liabilities), according to Bernanke is the double barrel impact of rising health care costs and exploding baby boomer retirements on entitlement programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. “Our ability to control health care costs, while still providing high-quality care to those who need it, will be critical for bringing the federal budget onto a more sustainable path.”   He tempered pessimism with a slightly optimistic look at the overall economy citing “increased evidence that a self-sustaining recovery in consumer and business spending may be taking hold,” but immediately slipped back into pessimism saying the economy “does look to be growing more quickly, but is still in a deep hole, is still very far from where we’d like it to be.”
Coupled with Bernanke’s speech the Senate Budget Committee heard from numerous “experts” about the most serious threats facing the hoped for economic recovery: the housing crisis; state, local and federal budget shortfalls; unrest in Egypt and its possible effects on shipping via the Suez Canal and on the price of oil; and the continuing European debt crisis. Home prices are expected to fall another 5% this year and 14-17 million Americans are currently “underwater” on their homes (owing more than their homes are worth now, not to mention after a further 5% drop in prices). Overall this amounts to an expected total average home price drop of 35% between 2007 and the end of this year possibly igniting another round of the vicious cycle of default, foreclosure and greater downward pressure on home prices.
The pressure is not all at the federal level either.   Ray Scheppach, executive director of the National Governor’s Association said that the Obamacare mandated explosion in Medicaid enrollment (coupled with other demands on the states shifted from the federal government) was the “700 pound gorilla” in the room as it increased costs to the states by 190 million by 2019. If the recession (which has been officially “ended” for over nineteen months now . . . you and I know better, any time home prices are down over 1/3 of their value in four years: that’s a recession!) continues, Rajjpuut concludes that the Obamacare-created meltdown of the states will happen sooner (2023) rather than later (2026). As far as bailouts, several of the witnesses at the senate hearing implied that there was no appetite for state bailouts.   Going back to Bernanke, he failed to mention that the Federal Reserve Banks under his command had been busy printing paper money and creating electronic money for the better part of twenty-seven months and there was, believe it or not, some obscure chance that the nation’s major creditors (such as China, Russia, India, Brazil, Japan and others) might not only notice but also object to his willful policy of inflation. Since technically the math says that the current dollar is worth 3.4 pennies worth of the late 2008 dollar . . . this could also be a problem, eh?
In short, Mr. Bernanke seems to be sobering up, but he’s still not admitting his drunken money-creation, so overall the prognosis for the patient is very, very, bad.

PS remember this:  We now have FEWER people working in AMERICA than we've known at any time SINCE 1981 during the early days of the Reagan administration.  We also have more people working for the government than at any time in history outside of war.  At a projected cost of 2 - 3.5 real jobs lost in the real economy for every government job created, is it any wonder?
Here's a chart of the eleven recessions the country's suffered through since World War II.   Notice the "V" shape typical of recession recovery is not present now thanks to government interference . . . .

  Unclothing the Latest Obama Lies

Item: President Obama wants you to think he stopped the economy from entering Depressionville.

Background: Democrats ascribe the “lukewarm success” of the President’s $787 Billion stimulus to the fact that it was “way too puny,” but, they say, it saved us from a depression, Hallelujah! And now they’re seeking a much richer round of stimulus for the economy. Notice the weasel word “stimulus” from their mouths is much like the weasel word “investment” Obama unveiled during the State of the Union speech eight days ago . . . let’s substitute the more accurate words “government spending,” OK?

Facts: As we make our midterm assessment of his presidency, we must realize that Mr. Obama’s stimulus like all government spending comes at the cost of jobs in the real (non-government) economy. Government spending and government borrowing and government regulations and other government interference all kill real jobs in the real economy.   This is why small government is so vital; government is grossly inefficient at doing any but its legitimate functions.

Item: The president likes to peddle two truly great fictions among the dozens of daily lies they put out. The first is that “Our programs have broken the back of the recession.”

Background: His bureaucracy released a GDP growth rate of 3.4% for the fourth quarter of 2010 using a price deflator that was quite self-serving. The price deflator was 0.3 while the Consumer Price Index rose at 2.6 . . . .

Facts: in layman’s language, what he is calling growth is just higher prices we all face at the pump, at the grocery store and across the board.   If Jimmy Carter had used such lies he would have been bragging about the highest growth the nation has ever known (in 1980 inflation and interest rates both stood at 18%).

Item: The other great fiction is the “Car in the Ditch” fable that he’s used for two years to deflect responsibility for the economy onto conservatives and the free market and President Bush.

Background: The Sub-prime lending crisis began in 1977 with Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77). In 1975 only one home loan in 404 was “suspect.” That is roughly 403 of any 404 home mortgages were granted to good risk clients and required virtually always 20% down payment. CRA ’77 forced lenders to knowingly make bad home loans to poor risk clients. After four expansions of CRA ’77 by Bill Clinton (one by regulatory means in 1993; two smaller ones in 1995; and his steroid version in 1998) by 2005 34% of all U.S. home loans were “suspect,” that is, granted at 3% or less (many without any down payment to people without jobs; some without I.D.; without income other than food stamps; many without previous rental history; with terrible credit ratings; and even to illegal aliens). Thanks to the steroid version of CRA ’77 passed by Clinton in 1998, ACORN and other provocateurs (who all used Saul Alinsky tactics for) pushing these unwise loans upon unwilling lenders found it as easy to put bad risk clients into $440,000 homes in 2000 as it had been a decade earlier to put them into $110,000 homes. By the way, working two years as an ACORN attorney, Barack Obama was famous for not only pushing lenders into these bad loans but wheedling “generous” ACORN donations from them as well.

Facts: George W. Bush saw the progressives including Democrats, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and especially ACORN deliberately pushing the car (the economy) toward a 500-foot ditch and jumped into the front seat grabbing the wheel and slamming on the brakes to guide the car into the nearest friendly-looking ditch.

We’ll back this incredible statement up by reminding the voters that Bush saw the increasing scope of the sub-prime lending problem in January, 2005, and sought to have the worst aspects of CRA ’77 repealed. His efforts were defeated, nay crushed, by the Democrats. Bush spoke to the nation and congress 18 more times on this subject and sought CRA ’77 repeal each time. Finally, 30 months later enough Dems were alarmed that a diluted version of Bush’s original bill was made into law in July, 2007. This proved too little too late, but it did help some, so much so that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner credited Bush’s action with limiting the impact of the recession and preventing a truly horrific plunge in housing prices. Only one more word needs to be discussed: the word “deliberately” in the italicized paragraph above. This CRA ’77 damage wasn’t all done because of misconstrued “good intentions” by the altruistic progressives in question but was a deliberate attempt by them to manufacture a crisis they could exploit . . . .

This link to another Rajjpuut’s Folly blog immediately above tells the whole shocking story starting with 1) Cloward and Piven creating their “Cloward-Piven Strategy” in 1968 and later bragging about how they doubled the number of welfare recipients in the country in eight years and bankrupted New York City (just missed bankrupting New York State) requiring a federal bailout in 1975.   These are the same married couple Cloward and Piven who often quoted Stalin in their Columbia University (NYC) classrooms “The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.” 2) How Cloward and Piven told their followers to shift to voter registration and housing activism 3) How Wade Rathke in Arkansas created ACORN as soon as CRA ’77 became law. 4) How the Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now became the nationwide Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now after putting Bill Clinton into the governorship (voter registration fraud helped in the first of his six elections) and doubling the bad home loans in the country from one in 404 to one in 196 just by their work in Arkansas 5) How once ACORN put Clinton into the White House he repaid them with the Motor Voter Act and four expansions of CRA ’77; etc., etc., etc. By the way, here’s a picture of the Motor Voter Act signing ceremony with Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven standing directly behind Bill Clinton as he signed into law “a twelve-lane highway for voter fraud.”

http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2010/01/what-they-know-that-we-dont-elections.html

So where does all this leave President Barack Obama? Let us count his most obvious big failures: 1) His stimulus package was a counter-productive disaster*** that made the economy much worse (it jumped from 7.8 to 9.9% unemployment within six months after it went into effect). 2) His financial regulation bill (Dodd-Frank) is choking the life out of the economy that has so harassed small banks that they have stopped loans to small businesses entirely. 3) He appears to be losing Egypt to radical Muslims linked to the infamous Muslim Brotherhood (to learn about their link to 9/11 read Lawrence Wright’s The Looming Towers: Al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11). 4) He and his Fed Chief Ben Bernanke appear to be inflating our money so terribly that there’s a good chance the dollar will cease to be the World’s Reserve Currency and hyper-inflation will result. 5) His god-awful “Affordable Health Care Program” better known as Obamacare (which would have a) bankrupted the individual states because the federal government was shifting virtually all federal side Medicaid funding upon them and b) was destined to become a $2.5 TRillion boondoggle) has now been called entirely UNconstitutional by a federal judge.   And 6) he has put us all ninety giant steps closer to Marxist-Socialism in the process. God, what a great president!

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

*** actually, we’ve become what Dick Morris called  “a nation of inventories.” Businesses are sitting on close to $1 TRillion dollars worth of cash they’re afraid to invest because the business climate is so horrendous. Banks have loads of capital handed out by Ben Bernanke’s fed as they try to “force-feed the economy by printing money” but the economic climate is so prohibitively bad they’re afraid to loan out 98% of it. Consumers now have paid off household debt to the tune of $200 BIllion rather than make any big investments such as homes; real estate; new cars. But real spending is not happening . . . even if the government is spending enough for sixty congresses . . . nobody is really buying anything, as we all wait for the next shoe to drop . . . .

TEA Party Continues Reagan Tradition
Time to Institute His Economic Bill of Rights

Just as Hall of Fame Denver quarterback John Elway became famous for a 98-yard drive through a snowstorm in the waning moments of a playoff game that won the game for his Broncos and came to be known as “The Drive,” so too in late 1964, Ronald Reagan gave a speech supporting Barry Goldwater’s presidential Bid. Goldwater’s famous book was called “The Conscience of a Conservative,” Reagan’s famous speech came to be known simply as “The Speech.”
During “The Speech” Reagan told the story of a Cuban refugee who had escaped Fidel Castro and that island’s communist tyranny. The refugee later became an American businessman and much later met two of Reagan's friends. Reagan described it this way in “The Speech” and considered even more powerful than Goldwater’s entire book.
“In the midst of his story my one friend turned to the other and said `we don't know how lucky we are' and the Cuban stopped and said `how lucky you are? . . . I had some place to escape to,' and in that sentence he told us the entire story,” Reagan continued, “If we lose freedom here there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth. And this idea that government is beholden to the people that it has no source of power except the sovereign people is still the newest and most unique idea in all the long history of man's relationship to man.”

Six months ago Bill Wilson, President of Americans for Limited Government, said,
“As the federal government continues to expand beyond its constitutional boundaries here in the early part of the 21st century, Reagan's timeless warning against the grand designs of centralized planners deserves renewed attention. In his speech, the future president also suggested that a forceful response was needed to reclaim the principles of the founding period otherwise ‘history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening.’”

The TEA (Taxed Enough Already; or Taken Enough Abuse) Party movement coming one generation after Reagan’s first presidential election victory honors Reagan’s legacy and the legacy of our Founding Fathers. It’s no coincidence that TEA Party activism rose up shortly after our newest President passed his $787 BIllion stimulus program. Barack Obama’s progressivism (Marxism, actually) and the entire Obama agenda, seemingly all designed to rush the country down the path toward the abyss while spitting on the Constitution and all the principles that made this country great. The same principles that Reagan harkened to every day are the principles Barack Obama denigrates into oblivion.
In response to Obama’s nauseating socialism, Reagan nostalgia and Glenn Beck’s eye-opening revelations have created a whole new generation of Americans that Wilson said in the blog quoted above
“. . . are willing to take up Reagan's challenge and restore constitutional checks on federal power. The current administration's on-going efforts to “Europeanize” the American economy with new entitlement programs and coercive mandates has helped to focus public attention back onto the ideals of the founding period. Best seller lists are replete with references to the key figures responsible for the American Revolution.
“. . . on July 4, 1987, President Reagan delivered a radio address that discussed a series of proposed constitutional amendments aimed against deficit spending that would be folded into an “Economic Bill of Rights.” Reagan had discussed his plan at great length the day before during a ceremony held at the Jefferson Memorial. Although his comments were overlooked in the news media at that time, they are remarkably detailed and highly relevant to the fiscal challenges of 2010.
“It's about time we constitutionally mandate the Federal Government to do what every American family must do, and that is balance its budget,” Reagan said in his address. “That doesn't mean taking more out of your pocket by raising taxes. In fact, our Economic Bill of Rights suggests a balanced budget amendment should contain a provision requiring more than a mere majority vote in Congress -- which is all it takes now -- to raise your taxes.”

Voters, whether Republican, Independents, Democrats or Libertarians like Rajjpuut showed up en masse on Election Day, 2010, to express their outrage with tax and spend politicians . . . especially those with the gall to refuse to read and understand the expensive bills and entitlements they were passing. Rajjpuut’s suggests that the TEA Party and the Republican Party take this opportunity to revisit America’s Economic Bill of Rights which Ronald Reagan created out of his deep love for this country:

America's Economic Bill of Rights
July 3, 1987

Preamble
The Founding Fathers of our country knew that without economic freedom there can be no political freedom. Their rallying cry of "No taxation without representation" reflects that fundamental precept. They knew that the right to earn your own keep and keep what you earn is central to America's understanding of what it means to be free. This country was built by people seeking to support themselves and their families by their own labor, people who treasured the right to work and dispose of their earnings as they saw fit, people who were willing to take economic risks.
Over the past 40 (now 64) years, however, the growth of government has left our citizens with less control over their economic lives. What America needs now is an Economic Bill of Rights that guarantees four fundamental freedoms:
• The freedom to work.
• The freedom to enjoy the fruits of one's labor.
• The freedom to own and control one's property.
• The freedom to participate in a free market.
To secure these freedoms, I propose the following initiatives:
The Freedom to Work: You have the right to pursue your livelihood in your own way, free from excessive government regulation and subsidized government competition.
1. To reduce subsidized government competition with private citizens, I will establish a bipartisan Presidential Commission on Privatization to identify government programs and activities that can be accomplished more effectively in the private sector. I will also instruct the executive branch to find additional ways for contracting outside the government to perform those tasks that belong in the private sector. As to those activities that should properly remain in the government, I have asked the President's Council on Management Improvement to accelerate its productivity improvement program by one year and to adopt private sector practices where they would promote efficiency.
2. To reduce the burden of government regulation, I have reconstituted the Task Force on Regulatory Relief, chaired by the Vice President, to root out unnecessary restrictions on the individual's pursuit of a livelihood.
The Freedom to Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labor: You have the right to keep what you earn, free from excessive government taxing, spending, and borrowing.
3. To protect you from over-borrowing by the government, I will ask the Congress to adopt a balanced budget amendment, a line item veto, and legislative changes that will restore integrity to the congressional budget process.
4. To protect you from over-taxing by the Government, I will propose as part of the balanced budget amendment submitted to Congress, a requirement for a supermajority vote by Congress before your taxes can be raised. This reform will help make permanent our recent progress in lowering your tax rates, broadening the tax base to ensure fairness, and indexing rates so that inflation cannot push taxes back up.
5. To protect you from excess spending by the Federal Government, I will propose Truth in Federal Spending
Legislation that will:
A. Require that every new program established by legislation increasing Federal spending be deficit-neutral by including equal amounts of offsets.
B. Require that every piece of legislation mandating an increase in private sector costs or imposing new regulations include a financial impact statement detailing:
—The impact on private costs;
—The impact on prices for the consumer;
—The effect on employment;
—The impact on the ability of U.S. industries to compete internationally.
C. Require that every piece of legislation forcing increased expenditures by State and local governments include an assessment of the spending impact, the likely source of funding, and the ability of these governments to fulfill the mandates of the legislation.
The Freedom to Own and Control Your Property: You have the right to keep and use your property, free from government control through coercive or confiscatory regulation.
6. To protect your right to own and use your property, my administration will pursue our successful efforts in the courts to restore your constitutional rights when the government at any level attempts to take your property through regulation or other means.
7. To protect intellectual property and to encourage creativity, I will urge that the Congress act on my proposals to provide adequate domestic and international protection to Americans who create new ideas and invent new goods and services.
Freedom to Participate in a Free Market: You have the right to contract freely for goods and services and to achieve your full potential without government limits on opportunity, economic independence, and growth.
8. To reform the present welfare system that promotes dependency and destroys families and communities, I have proposed a welfare reform initiative that will lift the least fortunate among us up from dependency by creating incentives for recipients to become independent of welfare as full participants in the American economy.
9. To prepare our youth for participation in today's economy, I will ask the Congress and the States to enact proposals that will protect the rights of parents to guide their children and select from a broad array of educational options that emphasize excellence, character, and values. I will also promote programs to assist problem students to complete their education and to encourage dropouts to return to school.
10. To arm American workers and businessmen for full participation in an increasingly complex world economy, I will press for the Congress to act on my trade, employment, and productivity proposals to:
—Increase job retraining and other initiatives which improve opportunity for the American worker.
—Encourage science and technology by increasing support for basic research and development.
—Enact antitrust, product liability, foreign corrupt practices, and other regulatory reforms that place American
enterprise on a level playing field with foreign competitors.
—Improve America's ability to secure free and fair trade without resorting to protectionist measures that destroy jobs and
harm the consumer.
Makes a lot of sense doesn’t it? Truth in spending by the Obama administration alone would be a wonderful thing but all of our presidents and far more importantly all of our congresses have been guilty of excess taxation and super-excess spending. This is where our present $14.1 TRillion National Debt and current $112 TRillion in Unfunded liabilities (not including welfare programs but only Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid) come from . . . Truth in Spending; and requiring a “¾ super-majority” before any tax can be made law; or any present tax can be raised seems like simple, solid common sense. Rajjpuut would also insist that any tax can be cancelled and any old tax decreased by a simple majority. Reagan’s words bear repeating:
“We the people deserve to know that our jobs, paychecks, homes, and pensions are safe from the taxers and regulators of big government. Jefferson warned us of this threat 200 years ago,” he said. “Our Economic Bill of Rights is designed to protect the economic freedom of all Americans and to keep our country growing and prospering.”   AMEN!

State of Union Speech Shows Obama

Seeking Utter Dominance of AWI

In the good old days, the so-called “Misery Index” (MI) was achieved by adding the unemployment rate to the inflation rate. Notable, for example, was President Jimmy Carter inheriting Gerald Ford’s 13.45  misery index and then handing off a staggering 20.76 misery index to Reagan.   The term “stagflation” was invented to describe the particular type of mess that Carter had generated with his big government policies. Reagan in turn handed off a relatively low 9.57 misery index to his former Vice President G.H.W. Bush.  By the way, the only reason Carter got off so well is that the Democrats were keeping the stats and didn’t admit that inflation was 19% when he left office.

Rajjpuut would like to submit for contemplation, however, the far more sensitive and indicative AWI or “Absolute Wretchedness Index” created by adding the weekly interest on the REAL NATIONAL DEBT (RND) to the Misery Index. Currently the nation’s REAL NATIONAL DEBT based upon a National Debt of $14.1 TRillion and UNfunded liabilities (just in Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid) amounting to $114.6 TRillion equals a grand total of . . . (Drum-roll, Maestro please . . . ) $128.7 TRillion. Welfare costs are another huge UNfunded outlay which the nation is obligated to cover, but the math gets too complicated so let’s stick with a current RND of $128.7 TRillion. That means the weekly interest on a Real National Debt would amount to $ 73 Billion or about $250 per week per American man, woman or child . . . not the debt itself, just the interest we pay on it . . . so with 9.5% unemployment and .4% inflation and $73 Billion weekly RND interest rates Mr. Obama’s current Absolute Wretchedness Index stands at 82.9 easily the worst in history. His predecessor George W. Bush’s highest AWI reading was 72.6. The closest thing we see to Obama’s 82.9 AWI is Carter’s at roughly 76.6.

For those who decry any measurement system which disparages the noble contributions of that stalwart statesman Barack Hussein Obama, perhaps a little deeper study is required. While we appreciate that it’s just not cool to talk about esoteric subjects like having revenues meet obligations, according to information found in a book recently written by a former Comptroller General of the United States (Comeback America: Turning the Country Around and Restoring Fiscal Responsibility by David M. Walker) at the time he wrote his book the National Debt was about 5.5 times our income (the revenues of the nation). So considering our UNfunded liabilities as well as the debt, our obligations are now more than fifty times our revenues. We have thus severely mortgaged the country’s future and our children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s future all the while facing a markedly different world in which America no longer has a virtual monopoly on desired goods and services and technologies but every year faces more and more serious competition in the global marketplace. Current taxes are one thing, but if we don’t start reducing our debt and the interest on the debt, then deferred taxes will destroy the nation. Let’s be clear on this: future taxes could triple and we’d still have trouble paying off both the interest on the National Debt and our future now UNfunded liabilities. That is, unless we do something NOW, everyone in the future would be taxed 100% of earnings and we still could not pay off either debt interest or obligations . . . and, of course we would have zero dollars for Defense or any other budget item . . . and still would not be dealing with the debt itself (again, just the interest).

How far in the future are we talking about? Within 12 or 13 years the interest on the National Debt will be the single largest item in the nation’s budget unless current trends change dramatically. And you get absolutely nothing in return for it, all this interest we pay . . . hence we’ve named this measure of problematical agony: the Absolute Wretchedness Index or AWI.   50% of this money is owed to foreign governments with China being #1 and Japan #2 in holding our debt; a bloc of oil producing nations combined hold’s the #3 amount.  This is a crucial factor. Why did we back Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae with $5 TRillion? Because foreign debtors demanded it, since they held so much of these U.S. debt instruments.

The problem has two components, but despite all our current “pain,” only one of them matters. In the short term due to the economy, our two wars, and unemployment things are going to be painful . . . but this is a small drop in a huge ocean. The main component is the long-term structural imbalance. The budget and the deficits and the debt and the interest payments on the debt which are NOT sustainable.  Once the economy recovers we get out of the wars and finally see 5% unemployment again . . . things will be even worse because we’ll have continued on several more years increasing the debt; the interest on that new higher debt; and all our UNfunded liabilities as well. Huge unending deficits, year after year, as far as the eye can see will still loom ahead of us. It is this structural imbalance that threatens to destroy the country . . . hence our headline “State of Union Speech Shows Obama Seeking Utter Dominance of AWI.”

Mr. Obama has, in real terms not in CBO configurations, increased the federal budget 41% if Obamacare and his other initivatives are considered. Now he talks about freezing discretionary federal spending at this super-elevated level for three years. What utter nonsense that pretense of his amounts to. We must begin to slash spending immediately towards 2006 or even 2004 levels. If we don’t we will lose the confidence of foreign lenders and find ourselves floating down the proverbial open sewer lacking a paddle or other means of locomotion other than our own hands as the dollar drops precipitously, interest rates and inflation soar, and our mild recession becomes a real depression and we see truly scary unemployment. Walker in his book called Washington “a lagging indicator” meaning that the politicians in their ivory towers and the political class who adore them aren’t getting the picture nearly as rapidly or as clearly as the people now do.

It is the people, the voters, who are demanding something be done about these problems even if the solution is arduous and unpopular among politicians and their allies with a vested interest in the current unstainable structure. The current Obama administration and the Democratic majorities they had in Congress have called the TEA Party movement “astroturf” rather than a true grassroots movement; accused them of being merely a more rightwing version of the Republican Party; and shown them no respect at all.   Many of the current Republicans, such as John McCain’s daughter, lightweight pundit and columnist for The Daily Beast Meghan McCain, are proving just as blind about the TEA (Taxed Enough Already or Taken Enough Abuse?) Party as the Democrats. Ms. McCain objected to the TEA Party’s Michelle Bachmann commenting on Obama’s State of the Union address in addition to the Republican response so ably handled by Rep. Paul Ryan, saying, Bachmann was “at best a poor man’s Sarah Palin.”

Ms. McCain, whose only accomplishment in life is being the daughter of a famous man, ought to show a little respect when she’s talking about her elders and about a woman of true accomplishment. As Walker’s book points out, the people are aroused now and Ms. Bachmann, Sen. Paul and Sen. DeMint recognize it even if she can’t.

Let’s give you a real blast from the past when Time Magazine which loved Jimmy Carter finally had to admit things were none too rosy in their March 24, 1980 edition . . . .

"As Jimmy Carter stepped before the television cameras in the East Room        of the White House last Friday, his task was not just to proclaim another new anti-inflation program but to calm a national alarm that had begun to border on panic. Inflation and interest rates, both topping 18%, are so far beyond anything that Americans have experienced in peacetime—and so far beyond anything that U.S. financial markets are set up to handle—as to inspire a contagion of fear. Usually confident businessmen and bankers have begun talking of Latin American-style hyperinflation, financial collapse, major bankruptcies, a drastic drop in the American standard of living."

We’ve heard plenty of talk about Obama’s and Bernanke sooner or later handing us a hyper-inflation and moving America toward Banana Republic Status so it appears history if it’s not repeating itself is at least humming the same rhyming song. Knowing that lesson in absolutely wretched history, let us pray not repeat it. Instead let us be pro-active in the Reagan sense and severely constraining the parasitic government, let us unleash the free market by cutting debt**; cutting spending; cutting taxes; cutting regulation; and ultimately under-cutting unemployment.

“Sorry, Mr. President, the facts are against you three-to-one,  if burning wood is what you mean by ‘green energy,’ I count your stimulus package and deficit spending the greatest failure in world history . . .”

Barack’s State of Union Address,
Lies Based upon False Premises

Barack Obama made a big deal of the fact that while he spent his Christmas (strike that), his ‘er Winter Solstice vacation in Hawaii he was reading a book about Ronald Reagan. Uh-huh. Those five pictures of Obama reading the Reagan book now circulating around the internet might impress some . . . they don’t impress people who think. Ronald Reagan’s single most memorable utterance after “Tear down this (Berlin) wall, Mr. Gorbachev!” was “Government is NOT the answer, government is the problem!” while Obama’s entire State of the Union (SoU) speech showed us that Reagan was a dummy because clearly in Barack’s world government is not only THE answer, but big unlimited all-controlling government is the ONLY logical path. Let’s sum up what a thinking voter needs to know about Mr. Obama’s State of the Union Address last night in just two rather long paragraphs . . . .
1.                                          To begin understanding the huge and radical nature of Obama’s SoU lies and innuendo, take his most outstanding promise from 2.5 years ago about making us “less dependent upon foreign oil and creating a vibrant new green economy . . .” Mr. Obama was not the first to have that vision; Jimmy Carter made reasonable steps in that direction 34 years ago. Our progress for all of Carter’s work over the 32 years between then and Barack Obama stepping into the Oval office:  1/160th of all America’s energy (0.6%) comes from wind; 1/1000 of our energy comes from solar (0.1%). Our progress since Barack Obama came into power: still 1/160th of all America’s energy (0.6%) comes from wind; and still 1/1000 of our energy comes from solar (0.1%). For a comparison, over 2% of our energy comes from wood. That is three times of much of America’s energy comes from wood as from the most advanced “green-tech.” “Sorry, Mr. President, the facts are against you three-to-one, if burning wood is what you mean by ‘green energy,’ I count your stimulus package and deficit spending the greatest failure in world history . . . .” We simply have not mastered either the collection of wind or solar or geo-thermal or whatever green energy you can think of; and more importantly we have not mastered energy storage to make such energy (once it’s collected) viable. Oh, yeah, then there’s the matter of doing it without exceeding the comparable price of $15 a gallon gas, Mr. President . . . all the good sounding but illogical promises from the summer of 2008 are still out there, still unfulfilled. In a phrase, the entire Obama SoU was the equivalent of madman Jared Loughner channeling a saint . . . you might start out with good intentions, but in the end you come to lunacy and disaster. Obama’s underlying SoU metaphor was the idea of “investment in America.” Sure sounds good . . . but let’s change the word “investment “ to “government spending” which is what got us into the unsustainable mess we’re in right now. IF Mr. Obama’s stimulus had worked he wouldn’t now be talking about doubling-down his bet with another thinly disguised “investment.” We have more than the 8% unemployment he promised, because his entire specious (good-sounding, but either false or illogical or both) panoply of promises is based upon an inaccurate world view that “Government is the answer.” The reason for American Exceptionalism and why so many people want to come here (as opposed to, say, escaping through the Berlin Wall or Iron Curtain) is this, up to recently, was a place where government’s role was limited and self-government and liberty were the individual’s realm. Going back to the idea of government spending getting us into the unsustainable mess we now find ourselves in  . . . to do this, let’s look at only one bad law (there’s been 3,000 bad laws passed by the government since this one) . . . imagine IF . . . .
2.
A. Imagine IF Jimmy Carter hadn’t had his congress create the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977 (CRA ’77) and home mortgage lenders hadn’t been forced by the government to make knowingly bad loans to people who were terrible risks while only requiring 3% (or less) down payment.
B. Imagine IF the progressive movement and Wade Rathke hadn’t created ACORN (Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now) to exploit CRA ’77; while also supporting Bill Clinton to give him the state governorship 12 of the next fourteen years. Imagine IF ACORN hadn’t expanded to all 50 states and become the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now.
C. Imagine IF George Bush (senior) had vetoed one bill in 1992 because of a tiny section he didn’t like expanding CRA ’77 to Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.
D. Imagine IF ACORN hadn’t been able to get Bill Clinton into the Oval Office; or IF while president, Clinton hadn’t greatly expanded CRA ’77 with regulatory fiat in 1993; twice got the congress to expand CRA ’77 in 1995; and made a steroid expansion of CRA ’77 in 1998.
E. Imagine IF Barack Obama and other ACORN lawyers hadn’t shaken-down and brow-beaten mortgage lenders so viciously using Alinsky tactics to get them to obey the now expanded versions of CRA ’77.
F. Imagine IF in January, 2005, when the recent Bush administration saw the dangers of CRA ’77 and sought to repeal all the worst parts including all of Clinton’s ’98 steroid expansion . . . and succeeded.
G. Imagine IF the percentage of ill-advised loans in 1975, before CRA ’77 had remained at 0.24% made at 3% down payment or less. Imagine that the percentage had NOT risen to 14% in 1995 and 34% in 2005.
H. Imagine IF the ’98 steroid version of CRA ’77 passed by Clinton had been voted down . . . if ACORN and others didn’t then find it as easy to get a risky client into a $440,000 home in 2001 as they had to get him into a $110,000 home in 1991.
I. Imagine IF ACORN had not insisted on getting expensive homes for folks without jobs; folks without ID; folks without rental histories; folks with terrible credit ratings; folks whose only “income” was food stamps; other welfare recipients; and even for illegal aliens . . . that’s just one bad law based upon the idea that government is the answer. Imagine IF, the sub-prime lending crisis that the CRA’77 law created had never happened . . . . Obama refers to America as the country that gave us the Wright Brothers, Edison and Bill Gates. He does not remind us that these people did NOT require nor want government interference and rather than taking government money they created some things so rich and wonderful that they created millions of jobs over time and gave the government TRillions of dollars in income . . . He also spoke of a "Sputnik Moment" not mentioning that his administration had decided to virtually shut down the valuable NASA program that got us to the moon; or that he had personally told the NASA chief that his glorious new job was making Muslims around the world feel good about their Middle Ages' scientific achievements.  In sum, Mr. Obama gave us a speech that sounded full of great ideas and lofty purpose but which was merely doubling down on his efforts to create a 100% socialist country and which, neither in particulars nor in broad perspective makes one iota of sense . . . .

Who Belongs on Anti-American Wanted Posters?

If you were to logically examine the greatest dangers facing America right now and then to put a face to each of them, it’s likely you’d be stunned at what many of those faces look like . . . as you’ll see from our countdown of the . . . .

Nine Ultra-Dangerous

Anti-Americans at Large Today

#9 Osama Bin Laden has become largely toothless, the danger lies from the newer, younger faces now in charge of the various Al Qaeda branches around the globe . . . faces largely only known to the CIA. However, one face that many Americans are aware of is Anwar Al Awlaki a man with dual citizenship in Yemen and the United States. Despite President Obama’s efforts to remove the concept of Islamic Terrorism from our radar scopes, Awlaki, who was raised right here in the United States, is the highest profile semi-successful terrorist most of us know about. Besides being the “brains” behind the high profile failures of the “Underwear Bomber” and “Times Square Bomber” and “UPS Bomber,” Awlaki was the inspiration for the Ft. Hood massacre carried out by Islamic Army Major Hasan who cried out “Allah Akbar!” as he started the shooting rampage that claimed the lives of 13 people and wounded 29 others, mostly soldiers at the U.S. Army base near Killeen, Texas. Like Bin Laden, Awlaki during his young manhood got involved with prostitutes and became so self-loathing that he needed a big scape-goat for his sins: Western Decadence and the United States. Luckily so far, except for the Army’s total incompetence in dealing with the danger of Major Hasan . . . Awlaki and his followers have thankfully proven themselves quite incompetent. Grade as an Anti-American so far? D+

#8 Faceless foreign Islamist terrorists eager to kill Americans on foreign shores have done a chillingly effective job against Americans outside this country. Whether its suicide bombers; planters of improvised explosive devices (IEDs); Taliban fighters in Afghanistan or those who slaughtered over 100 and wounded at least 250 (mostly Americans and British) at the Indian hotels favored by Westerners and other areas in Mumbai, India in coordinated attack waves; or the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole . . . these guys mean business and have had success against us. In light of the large number of terrorist attacks they pull off, however, Americans have been surprisingly infrequent targets. Their greatest latent threat? Taking over Nuclear-armed Pakistan. Anti-American Grade: C+

#7 The greatest and obviously fastest growing threat so far comes from faceless home-grown Islamic terrorists as the recent FBI sting operation that foiled a would-be Christmas Day attack in Portland Oregon. Because of the failure of Islamic leaders in this country to face down terrorism and the idea of Jihad . . . thousands of young Muslims are being indoctrinated and radicalized right here in this country. Barack Obama and Eric Holder who could easily have sought their help in a high profile way, have pretended that there is no Islamic terror war aimed against us . . . it’s unlikely their political correctness can save us from such attacks. The recent broad-daylight attack on a Detroit police precinct wounding four officers is a shocker. Was this an Islamic Terror attack? We’ve not been told anything; the shooter has been identified, but not yet “characterized.” We do know that the Detroit area holds the highest Muslim population density in the country. In any case, unless something changes such attacks will be carried out by Jihadists sooner or later. Grade: F- Threat A+

#6 Chinese President Hu Jintao and his country pose huge  military, economic and cyber threats to the United States and have abetted the insane regime in North Korea as well. He is now calling for the Chinese Yuan to replace the American Dollar as the world’s reserve currency. If this happens the American economy will be able to hide behind Obama’s and Fed Chief Ben Bernanke’s façade no more: we will be exposed as utterly bankrupt and economic chaos the like of which the United States has never known will collapse the entire economy. Barack Obama seems content to let China continue to lead us down the primrose path in that direction. Grade D- but threat A++.

#5 Frances Fox Piven has been the most successful and little-appreciated American traitor in history. She clearly was the power behind the throne of the Clinton presidency.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/frances-fox-piven-rings-in-the-new-year-by-calling-for-violent-revolution/

Earlier, the efforts of Piven, her husband Richard Cloward, Black militant George Wiley  and the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) created by the threesome to show the strength of the infamous “Cloward-Piven Strategy” took eight years to bankrupt New York City (it required a federal bailout in 1975). NWRO used Saul Alinsky’s (author of Reveille for Radicals in 1946; and Rules for Radicals in 1971) street crusade tactics to double the nation’s welfare rolls from 8 to 16 million between 1967 and 1975; and just missed bankrupting the entire state of New York.

While working with NWRO, Wiley Lieutenant Wade Rathke was considered imaginative. He put that trait to bad use in creating his original ACORN (Arkansas Community Organization for Reform Now) in conjunction with the support of Bill Clinton were answers to Cloward’s and Piven’s calls for their army of supporters to move on to “voter registration and housing as our next emphasis areas” for radicalism. After Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77) first required home lenders to knowingly make bad loans to high risk people, ACORN was created and immediately the landscape of American mortgages began changing. After success in Arkansas and in supporting and getting Bill Clinton elected governor for 12 of the next 14 years, ACORN became national and changed its name slightly dropping “Arkansas” and replacing it with “Association.”

ACORN helped put Bill Clinton into the White House in November, 1992, and he immediately set to work to definitively answer the Cloward-Piven call for radical attacks on voter registration by enacting the Motor Voter Act in early 1993. Piven and Cloward are standing just behind Slick Willy in the official photo of the signing ceremony. Motor Voter was called “a twelve-lane highway to voter fraud.” Clinton also enacted serious and deep reform of the regulations behind CRA ’77 in 93; and then twice had bills expanding CRA ’77 become law in 1995; and finally passed a steroid version expanding CRA ’77 in 1998. Clinton clearly had repaid his debts.  In 1975, before CRA ’77, one in every 404 home loans was issued at 3% down or less and virtually all loans were granted with 20% down payments. By 2005,  More than one in every 3 home loans (34%) was done at 3% down payment or less; many with zero down payment.

Thanks to the Clinton steroid expansion in 1998, ACORN was able to use its street demonstration tactics to get loans as easily for $440,000 homes in 2005 as they had for $110,000 homes in 1995. Now people with no job; no savings or estate; no ID; no rental history; only food stamps to show as “income”; terrible credit ratings; and, yes, even illegal aliens could be put into ultra-expensive homes. Piven was the founder of our financial meltdown as the sub-prime lending crisis infected the very soul of the nation’s economy . . . .

Today Piven is aghast that the unemployed are not angry enough and not taking to the streets. She has called for violence akin to what’s going on in Greece to finally bring the Marxist Revolution here to fruition. Things haven’t changed much for Piven.  Cloward and Piven’s infamous article “The Weight of the Poor” first exposing us to Cloward-Piven Strategy for revolution brought on by chaos first ran in the Nation magazine.

“Now, with the dropping New Year's ball, Piven is at it again, ringing in 2011 with renewed calls for revolution. In a chilling and almost unbelievable editorial again in The Nation (”Mobilizing the Jobless,” January 10/17, 2011 edition),” she is again calling on the poor to be storm troopers for her revolution.   For the angry unemployed “to rise up in a violent show of solidarity and force.  As before, those calls are dripping with language of class struggle. Language she and her late husband Richard Cloward made popular in the 60s.” Grade A+  Current Threat C

#4 George Soros:  So-called “philanthropist” Soros has had a checkered past. As a 14-year old in his native Hungary, George Soros was (as a capo for the Nazis) delivering the orders from the Third Reich officials for his fellow Hungarian Jews to assemble for their freight car trips to the death camps. Today the 80-year old Soros is known as “The Man Who Broke the Bank of England.” Multi-billionaire Soros is claimed to be the world’s 4th to 8th rich man. He’s made an awful lot of his money by taking advantage of (and some say by “engineering” or  “manipulating”) currency collapses. Full-fledged economic meltdowns in England, Russia, Thailand and Malaysia and in a couple of Balkan States which Soros exploited made him a billionaire. He is currently backing the Chinese Yuan and appears to be seeking harm for the Euro and Dollar. If he succeeds and makes a greater fortune by destroying the dollar, however, it will be Congress and the Presidents seem 1964 who have load the gun, Soros will just have incidentally pulled the trigger. His real danger is as a so-called activist and philanthropist. Soros right now funds the Tides Foundation and 48 other anti-American progressive foundations all aimed at bringing about an eventual collapse of the American economy and Marxist takeover of the United States. The incredible chart at the bottom of this blog link says it all; George is funding every single bit of it:

http://teapartyorg.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=4301673%3ABlogPost%3A131804&commentId=4301673%3AComment%3A131864&xg_source=activity

A good friend of the Clinton’s and close to Barack Obama, Soros could become the world’s first trillionaire if he can pull of the collapse of the Euro and the Dollar and getting the Yuan to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. His danger to the United States, however, lies in his being the banker for the progressives’ revolution. Grade C- potential danger A

#3: Obama’s Regulatory Czar” Cass Sunstein is called “The Most Dangerous Man in America” by fiscal-conservative and constitutional-conservative political pundit Glenn Beck. In the face of the House Republican majority, Obama will rely on Sunstein to take over the country for progressivism much like Bill Clinton did using regulatory fiat to expand the powers of CRA ’77 in 1993. Sunstein and progressive think tanks are the ones who get together behind closed doors to write up the massive Obamacare; Financial Takeover; and Cap and Trade Bills turning America into a socialist state. He’s currently working to undo Talk Radio and Fox News; and drastically limit Freedom of the Press and Freedom of Speech in this country. Grade B-   Potential Threat A++

#2 While Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have done great harm to our country, at the end of the day, they were both just leaders of the yes-people for our President. Barack Obamas charisma is not ever to be underestimated. Intelligent conservatives realize that the president’s multiple failures in every avenue of Oval Office accomplishment mean absolutely nothing.   After flirting with a 40% approval rating against 56% disapproval in September, 2010 . . . 51% of the nation now believes Obama’s job performance is effective. The son of a liaison between a radical communist American mother and a Marxist Kenyan, Barack Obama has zero accomplishments to his credit over almost half-century of living. He is living proof that Abraham Lincoln was wrong, not only can you fool some of the people all of the time, you can definitely fool most of the people most of the time. His lackey, Sunstein, is a dangerous man, but only Obama can get their entire administration another four years to carry on with their mischief.

Community Organizer Obama and ACORN lawyer Obama were highly effective at not only getting banks to give bad home loans to ultra-risky clients, but was also famous for shaking them down for ACORN donations.   A master propagandist, Obama has the American people believing that conservatives and the free market caused the crash which progressive laws like CRA ’77; progressive programs like Medicare and Medicaid; and progressive interference shackling the free market created.

Obama, Al Gore, Franklin Raines, Joel Rogers; Richard Sander and some forty-five other noted liberals created the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) which would have made the group hundreds of billions if not TRillions of dollars with the passage of cap and trade laws. Last month the group disbanded after CCX’s nine-year old potential failed to come to fruit.   Had they succeeded, the $10 TRillion per year carbon-trading industry (producing nothing but selling supposedly clean air) would have turned the $15 TRillion U.S. economy into a $25 TRillion economy with the same goods and services and nothing better to offer. This would have amounted to a 67% virtually immediate inflation in the country. This would have also fulfilled two of Obama’s campaign promises (to “bankrupt the coal industry” and to cause the price of electricity to skyrocket”) as revealed in a San Francisco Chronicle interview.

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/11/02/obama-ill-make-energy-prices-skyrocket/

Mr. Obama has also promised to create five million new green-tech jobs. Based upon a Spanish economist’s study of Spain’s efforts along similar lines (which took Spain from the most prosperous economy in 1997 and 4% unemployment; to being endangered by bankruptcy and today’s 20.8% unemployment rate) with the government subsidizing “green programs” . . . those five million green jobs would cost the real economy eleven million real jobs. Furthermore (just as in America, the Spanish politicians treated and counted jobs lasting two weeks or three months as if they were permanent jobs so that count is NEVER to be trusted) only 10% of the green jobs in Spain proved permanent . . . bottom line: half a million permanent green jobs would cost eleven million real jobs (a disastrous 22/1 job-killing ratio). Also of interest, the green jobs averaged about $12.44 per hour. It’s obvious that the media and the voters don’t pay attention to Obama’s words since they’re so enthralled by his pretty face? We could go on and on, but we’ll live out Obamacare and all his other disasters such as stopping oil-drilling in the Gulf . . . . Grade B+   Threat A++

#1 The top spot on our Anti-American wanted posters is a tie between the mainstream media (MSM) also known as the “lamestream media”; and the unaware and ignorant American Voter. Even more than Frances Fox Piven, these are the willful powers behind the presidential “throne” and also every seat in the House and Senate. All of the content of the eight earlier bad boys should be common knowledge in America but our MSM has contrived in Obama Adulation that none of it is known by more than about 8-9% of the populace. The voters, for their part, have shown a marked preference for sitcoms and “reality” TV over understanding how they’re being governed and informed. The rise of FoxNews and the demise of the liberal-leaning NY Times; Washington Post; etc. shows that enough people (who want the truth and will accept nothing less) are no longer funding the MSM’s lying; slanted and willfully incorrect news coverage to eventually bankrupt them all. The voters after partially coming to their senses in November have dropped back into the lap of apathetic ignorant bliss. Obama seems like such a nice fellow . . . it’s hard for them to be mad at his treason for very long . . . . Grade A+  Threat A+++

“Do-Over King” Barack Obama Profits

from Media-Induced Mental Fog among Voters

Of all the endearing movies featuring and flaunting quirky leading man Bill Murray, two are especially memorable. In the one produced first, he eschewed straight comedy for serious dramatics and,  thanks to some excellent script writing, Murray and Catherine Hicks, James Keach and Theresa Russell easily outdid the sensational 1946 quartet of Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, John Payne and Anne Baxter from the beloved silver screen classic version of The Razor’s Edge. Along the way, the theme from author W. Somerset Maugham’s novel becomes even more phenomenally stark and yet somehow eternally light-hearted and much, much clearer (even though the character “Maugham” himself was written completely out of Murray’s 1984 version). As strong as Murray is in The Razor’s Edge, however, the unforgettable dramatic/comedy vehicle for which Murray will be eternally toasted is 1993’s Groundhog Day . . . .

This more than bizarre (surreal?) fantasy in which a misanthropic, self-important weatherman Phil Connors relives the same day, February 2nd (the single day of the year he most despises; in the place he most despises Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; during the event he most despises: Groundhog Day Festivities), over and over and over again without hope for reprieve . . . has been embraced by the Buddhist fate and has even entered American slang lexicon as a shorthand term for any miserable, seemingly inescapable recurring fact of life.

"A thousand people freezing their butts off, waiting to worship a rat," Weatherman Connors gripes.

The American Buddhist movement finds the movie a strong allegory for life in general and for their religion more specifically. In real life as it’s lived by we, the non-believers in Buddhist Nirvana, however, Groundhog Day has come to the Oval Office courtesy of the ceaseless Obama-adulation by the mainsteam media (MSM).  Let us adopt Sara Palin’s more accurate “lame-stream media” here for they have made the President appear not, as a cat with nine lives, but rather as a jaguar with 9,000. So far as it is within their power they have created a politician who really can’t fall short on anything. If the president bashes business and the financial industry ceaselessly for two consecutive years he has but to name a Chicago crony who happens to carry some business experience as an advisor and he suddenly becomes magnanimous in his “outreach to the business world.” No matter how great or repetitive his mistakes, let the Great Barack make even the slightest symbolic gesture of reasonableness while posturing for the media and . . . suddenly all his long-standing substantial errors and sins are forgiven, for the Anointed One has given the appearance of statesmanship.

To say this was “all smoke and mirrors” would be demeaning magicians everywhere. This is rather, all freely-given PR puffery designed to glorify Obama. Consider these nine key areas as impartially as possible:

Jobs

Spending

Foreign Policy

Leadership

Fairness, Openness, Bi-Partisanship

The Gulf Oil Spill

GIBs and GSBs (Obamacare in particular)

Relationship with Business

Keeping Promises

The unbiased observer must give the President nine F’s for nine substantial failures. In fact, however, the man’s “Messiah” status is ever-reinforced ever more desperately with each pathetic showing he makes. Consider more closely:

JOBS: 17.6% of America’s people are unemployed in real measurement. 9.5% are still looking for jobs and thus still on the labor rolls, the rest have given up; many are substantially UNDERemployed. Obama promised once his $787 BIllion stimulus package was passed in February, 2009, that unemployment would not exceed 8%. In the upcoming State of the Union address he will pretend that the country was on the brink of a Great Depression and only the quick thinking of he and his Democrats was able to save us . . . at no small expense . . . and the MSM will sell that unenlightened viewpoint as Gospel. By the way, if the official “unemployment” statistic is ridiculous, then the Obama “jobs saved” stat is absolute horse pucky.

SPENDING: Obama’s sycophant-girl, Nancy Pelosi, has echoed the party line that deficit reduction and reduction of the National Debt has long been a top concern among Democrats and “Deficit Reduction has been our mantra.” Pelosi and the House Democrats last year refused to pass a budget because it would have been the country’s first $5 TRillion budget and required $1.6 TRillion in deficits.  Then there’s the little matter of the $14.1 TRillion National Debt which has increased $5 TRillion under Democratic house leadership which is 56% in four years.  Besides the bailouts and Obama stimulus, Obamacare will increase deficits by $300 Billion yearly while claiming it reduces deficits. The MSM abets Pelosi, Reid and Obama at every turn for their humane and far-thinking new approach.

FOREIGN POLICY: Despite Obama’s “Apology Tour”; repeatedly breaking promises to allies while embracing those who have no love for the United States and orally wish us ill; kowtowing to Eastern potentates and premiers; and doing everything possible to make the nation appear and be weak, weak, weak . . . the MSM has refused to analyze, investigate or seemingly even care about the utterly negative Obama legacy in foreign policy. Did they report in depth on his shabby treatment of Israel? On the weakness toward Iran and Russia implicit in not building the promised missile defense for our eastern European allies?   No, naturally no. But they couldn’t wait to fall all over themselves in slobbering joy proclaiming the START treaty with Russia was not a shameful sell-out but somehow a wonderful coup.

LEADERSHIP: More than anything else, the election of the nation’s first Black president was supposed to usher in a new era of enlightenment in racial matters and tolerance at all levels. Polls on the subject say that relations between the races have gotten worse under our first “post-racial” president. And, up till his recent posturing as a “centrist president” now that the Republicans dominate the House, President Obama led the way by constant race-baiting; and stupid stances like getting involved in the Cambridge arrest in early 2009 that led to his infamous “Beer Summit.” Mr. Obama has also threatened freedom of speech and freedom of the press by his constant attacks upon FoxNews and the TEA Party. Instead of leadership, Obama has constantly whined and called all those who dislike his policies as racists, haters, extremists and stupid. People fifty times as patriotic as the President then were subject to one hundred times the abuse by the MSM and by the most progressive elements of the Democratic Leadership.

FAIRNESS, OPENNESS and BI-PARTISANSHIP: Mr. Obama promised to change the culture of Washington and to give us “hope and change we could believe in. He talked about having TV cameras involved so that people could see every aspect of the health care deliberations and like his favorite YES MAN, Harry Reid in the Senate and YES GIRL, Nancy Pelosi in the House, Obama promised to run the most open, honest and accountable administration in history. Instead he’s overseen the most corrupt, closed, dishonest and unaccountable administration since Woodrow Wilson. Just the matter of those 42 non-vetted Obama Czars speaks volumes . . . of course, it would have been impossible to get all those admitted communists and radicals into the White House any other way. The MSM did nothing to hold Obama’s feet to the fire . . . he was given a free pass on all of this. The Van Jones affair was classic MSM. While FoxNews and others were revealing video clips of Jones talking openly about revolution and his communism and his 9/11 Truther activities for two and a half months, the MSM ran a 30 second clip the day after Van Jones “resigned.”

THE GULF OIL SPILL: It took the Obama administration six weeks to really get involved and their involvement in the first two weeks thereafter was making speeches about how they’d been on the ground dealing with the issue since the first few hours it was known about. Then, like all leftists, Obama made a horrible situation worse . . . first his EPA would not allow the building of sand berms and other defenses against the spill (because they might harm the environment); and then he cost the nation loads of oil and the Gulf loads of jobs with his six month moratorium on drilling which is now nearing nine months and which is projected to last 2.5 years. The MSM hardly covered these important matters but found a patsy in the BP President and made Mr. Obama into a hero, as usual.  Will they love him as much when gasoline is $4.50 per gallon?

GIBs and GSBs (OBAMACARE in particular): Like the oil spill made worse by government involvement, GIBs and GSBs (Government interference and government spending boondoggles) are the utter limits of arrogance with the federal government showing they know best and in the process taking over more of American life and making it worse. In the case of Obamacare the lies involved are incredible, and of course the MSM will not deal with them or expose them to the public. Mr. Obama personally pledged that zero federal dollars would be used to fund abortions under Obamacare but we found out in the first week that the program went into operation that abortions were routinely covered by Obamacare. They added money to other programs in two other bills (Medicare and Medicaid) so they could show the Congressional Budget Office false numbers that would make Obamacare look like it would lower the deficit when in truth the big picture is that 30 million people are added to the program at a far greater expense than the private sector would have caused and the program is another entitlement GSB, GIB that will dramatically ramp up the National Debt and the yearly deficits. In addition we have stimulus funds that only stimulated the pocketbooks for Obama supporters and created no new jobs; the laughable “Cars for Clunkers” which claimed that destroying perfectly good cars would jumpstart the economy (all it did was create a massive shortage of used cars and drive the price of the typical used car upward by $1,800); the AIG and auto bailouts; the takeover not only of health care but of the financial industry, the student loan industry, and now the beginning of the coal industry. And the MSM has been applauding every step of the way.

BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS: Mr. Obama spent the first two years of his administration feathering the cap of the unions and taking every possible opportunity to bash business, business people, finance, financial people, capitalists and conservatives all the while imposing all manner of extra bureaucracy and expense upon the free markets . . . MSM cheering every step of the way. Now as he makes cozy to enhance his 2012 presidential bid, little is made of his hypocrisy.

KEEPING PROMISES: From Guantanamo Bay to Afghanistan and all the promises mentioned above . . . President Obama has made a splendid career of promising out of one side of his mouth and alibi-ing out of the other. It’s likely that Barack Obama will at the end of the day (as a one-term president) actually only keep two promises, both made in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle on the 2008 campaign trail:

a.      To bankrupt the coal industry

b.     To make the price of electricity skyrocket

Actually, that’s only one promise since 52% of our electricity comes from coal . . .

Of course, the MSM gives Mr. Obama free rein to do as he pleases and enthusiastically supported him in 2008 and will support him in 2012. Call them “mulligans,” “do-overs” or Groundhog Day . . . the tremendous leeway that Obama has received from the MSM amounts to about 25 times the tolerance given to his predecessor and about 30 times what they’ve allotted to the TEA Party . . . .

It’s not been a good week for Obamacare, by any measure:

A) Today the U.S. House of Representatives voted 245-189 to repeal the law (a far larger margin then originally passed it). The fact that only three Democrats voted to repeal the law shows the tremendous sway that Nancy Pelosi still holds B) Two Rasmussen Reports surveys meanwhile showed that 75% of American voters want changes to Obamacare; and

C) 56% of voters actually want it repealed, while

D) six more states (Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Ohio, Wisconsin and Wyoming) joined a suit claiming the law is unconstitutional. This brings to twenty-sex, the number of states involved in the lawsuit originally begun by Florida. The other nineteen states that are suing are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington.

All six of the new states joining the law suits have Republican Attorney Generals, but the action in the House was, at least, somewhat bi-partisan as three Democrats joined the unanimous Republican voting ranks against Pelosi and the health care “reform” bill. With the new additions, over half the country’s states are now opposing the law.  "It sends a strong message that more than half of the states consider the health care law unconstitutional and are willing to fight it in court," Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement.

The states claim the health care law is unconstitutional and violates people's rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties. Government attorneys have said the states do not have standing to challenge the law and want the case dismissed.

Lawsuits have been filed elsewhere. A federal judge in Virginia ruled in December that the insurance-purchase mandate provision was unconstitutional, although two other federal judges have upheld the requirement.   It’s widely believed the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately have to resolve the issue.

Meanwhile, at the White House, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs dismissed attaching any importance to the vote repealing the law, saying the Republican effort was “not a serious legislative” push. Democrats have a majority in the Senate and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said his party would block repeal in that chamber; and will not allow the bill to even reach the Senate floor if he has his way.

In the Florida case, the states also argue the federal government is violating the Constitution by forcing a mandate on the states without providing money to pay for it. They say the new law gives the state's the impossible choice of accepting the new costs or forfeiting federal Medicaid funding.  By 2024 at the latest, the new Obamacare requirements for the state side of Medicaid are potentially expected to bankrupt almost all the fifty states. As a side note: Unfunded liabilities of $112 TRillion in Social Security, Medicare, and the federal side of Medicaid amount to more than double the gross national product of the entire world. These three entitlement programs and the new Obamacare entitlement appear nationally and for the states to be ticking time bombs . . . .

Florida U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson is expected to rule later this month whether he will grant a summary judgment in favor of the states or the Obama administration without a trial. Former Florida Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum filed the lawsuit within seconds after President Barack Obama signed the 10-year, $938 billion health care bill into law in March. He chose a court in Pensacola, one of Florida's most conservative cities.  The nation's most influential small business lobby, the National Federation of Independent Business, also joined the suit saying that the law’s costs and paperwork would make small business ownership a losing proposition. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has made similar assessments about Obamacare. A recent analysis showed that where before there stood only the patient and his/her doctor . . . 1,968 bureaucrats have now entered the relationship courtesy of Obamacare.

Voters Losing Faith in Dem Politicians

According to a Rasmussen Reports survey . . . American voters, who have recently acknowledged more faith in Barack Obama than they’ve shown in several months, are now apparently rapidly losing faith in his fellow Democratic politicians and trust Republicans more on all ten of the nation’s top issues.  Looking at the top-10 issues as selected by those surveyed: Voters trust the G.O.P. on the Economy (their #1 issue) by a 9% margin; on health care (issue #2) by 14%. Only on education (#3) was the matter much in doubt. The voters trusted Republicans by only a 2% margin on education while the minimum trust edge for all the other issues was 8% on ethics; and Social Security; and Iraq. The national security (#9) edge given to the G.O.P. was a whopping 15%; and the edge on handling taxes (#10) afforded to Republicans was a phenomenal 19%.

As new House Speaker John Boehner and the G.O.P. take over the House of Representatives this month (the Dems still control the White House and Senate),  this marks the first time according to Rasmussen since August, 2009, that Republicans have been trusted more on all ten top issues. At this time two years ago, the soon to be inaugurated Obama and his Dems were trusted more than Republicans on almost every issue. Republicans have held double-digit or near double-digit leads on generic Congressional ballots over the last few months. Congress means both the House and Senate . . . so possible implications are that Democrats in the House and Congress need to respond to the people’s wishes for sweeping change in their handling of the nation’s business. The election results indicate that voters want that from both parties but perhaps are looking for even more marked change among Democrats.

Meanwhile Barack Obama today meets with Red Chinese leader Hu Jintao. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama has been even more INeffective on the world stage than he has been at creating jobs here at home.  Jintao's country has abused ours in trade agreement after trade agreement and now he's calling for the world to replace the dollar with their currency (the Yuan).  Mr. Hu Jintao is an enemy intent upon economic destruction of this nation and needs to be handled as such.  Of course, we've hurt ourselves much more than the Chinese have damaged us and it's about time Mr. Obama looks back in history to the last time a President actually made a difference in ending a serious financial downturn.

Warren G. Harding in 1921 inherited a terrible recession from progressive President Woodrow Wilson, much worse than the one in 1929 Herbert Hoover caused for himself with his economic interference policies (raising tariffs in particular). Thanks to Harding’s decisive action the so-called “Invisible Depression was ended in fifteen months. What did Harding do? He cut taxes 49%; cut spending 48%; and reduced the national debt by 30%. He died in office before getting to see the country’s full rebound, but his Vice President Calvin Coolidge after being sworn in continued the policies and gave us the “Roaring Twenties” the decade in American History which showed us the most dramatic surge in prosperity the country’s ever known. How does Harding’s example relate to Obama’s visit with Hu Jintao? Rajjpuut would suggest seven steps for the country per se; and three more steps with regard to the Red Chinese:

A.    Internally

1. Reduce government spending by 40% and maintain it at that level for a period of 10-15 years depending upon progress in the economy; national debt and UNfunded liabilities.

2. Reduce taxes on individuals and businesses by 60% for a period of five years; by only 40% for years six-ten.

3. Pay down the national debt by 12% per year for the next dozen years.

4. Create a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. And an amendment requiring that each new Congress must in their first 90 days pass a budget.

5. Pass an amendment to the Constitution abolishing income tax for individuals and businesses and replacing it with an 8% Value-Added Tax (VAT) on all individual and business purchases; and a 12% VAT on all purchases of imported goods.

6. Eliminate all foreign aid.

7. Allow refineries to be built in the United States and drilling of oil inland and offshore to proceed and nuclear power plants to be built.

B.  Vis-a-vis China
Until such a time as China agrees to 100% fair trade with this country in all aspects charge a 40% VAT on all Chinese goods entering the country, and . . .

1. Forbid all knowledge-sharing and technology-sharing with the Chinese.

2. Add a $1 million surtax upon any company doing business with the Chinese.

3. Forbid ownership or exchange of Chinese Yuans in this country.

Rajjpuut states unequivocally that the measures mentioned above will return this country to greatness and put us on the road to curing the worst 85% of our nation’s economic ills within a dozen years.

Rasmussen: Only 26% Say

Nation is on the Right Track

A recent Rasmussen Reports survey shows only 26% of Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction while 68% of us believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Broken down by party sympathies: 43% of Democrats; 73% of Independents: and 88% of Republicans believe the country is headed the wrong way.  Only 48% of Democrats believe the country is moving in the right direction. Black voters are the only large bloc saying the country is on the right track with 52% agreeing; meanwhile 72% of Whites; and 75% of voters from groups not Black or White say the country is moving in the wrong direction. Here are a few areas of discontent:

ITEM: Rasmussen also showed that 75% want the Obamacare health care law changed at a minimum and 60% believe that it will cost much more than we’ve been told and increase the federal deficit. 55% say it must be repealed.

ITEM: 61% of voters say that Congress (U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate combined), no matter how bad things are, can always make things worse.

ITEM: Chinese President and leader of the Communist Party Hu Jintao has called the U.S. dollar functioning as the global currency a "product of the past" and is promoting a move by the global community toward his Chinese yuan for international investment.  Listen here to the video as George Soros the man who has stated that “the United States is the greatest threat to world stability and vowed to destroy the American Dollar; imagine his “new world order” being led by a Communist China which killed 58 million of its own people since 1950:

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/KatiePavlich/2011/01/17/chinese_president_says_dollar_as_global_currency_a_thing_of_the_past

ITEM: Today the Environmental Protection Agency moved to keep one of President Obama’s more dubious promises. The EPA in moving toward closing down a West Virginia coal mine seems hell-bent upon confirming a statement that Obama made to the San Francisco Chronicle during Election 2008, “My energy and cap and trade policies won’t prevent you from building a coal mine, but you’ll go bankrupt if you do.” In the same interview, then Senator Obama, said, “My energy policies will necessarily make electricity prices skyrocket.” U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat who’s been pushing for jobs and economic growth was among the first to protest this ridiculous action.

ITEM: The U.S. labor Department is awarding hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and scholarships to fill scarce green jobs.   Despite the fact that no great number, if any, vacancies exist in green jobs across the nation numerous universities and specialized vocational schools are seeking grants of government cash to provide graduates for non-existent or scarce green jobs and the Labor Dept. is giving out the money in keeping with President Obama’s pledge to create five million green jobs. As mentioned earlier, based upon an economic study of the reasons that Spain went from the strongest economy in Europe in 1997 to one of the worst today (4% unemployment to 20.8% unemployed now) subsidies creating five million green jobs here will put eleven million jobs at risk in the real American economy and only 500,000 (10% of those jobs will prove permanent).

ITEM: The EPA is moving by government regulatory edict to force business closedowns for high carbon dioxide emissions having named CO2 a “toxic emission.” The same justification could allow the EPA to kill off all animals and humans as toxic emitters. Of course CO2 is necessary for plant life and plants create the oxygen we need.

ITEM: George Soros, who is right now seeking to destroy the American Dollar (Yes, he declared it openly; it won’t take much, George) after becoming a multi-billionaire by destroying four other currencies including the Russian Ruble and profiting from the meltdowns of seven others (George is known as “The man who broke the Bank of England”) has his CAP (Center for American Progress) providing financial support in the drive to expand California’s Paid Family Leave Law by imposing an increase of 1.2% on payroll taxes so that fathers and mothers will have even more time to bond with their newborns.

ITEM: While the federal government is going bankrupt and the state governments are likewise under huge pressure courtesy of huge union employee pensions and salaries. President Obama moved to freeze federal salaries (when it looks like budget cuts of 15% will be demanded in virtually all other areas of the budget?).

ITEM: The president of one of Ben Bernanke’s federal reserve banks, Charles Plosser, abhors Ben Bernanke's dramatic intervention policies toward the economy. Plosser, President of the Philadelphia federal reserve bank said, "Monetary policy cannot reverse the sharp decline in house prices when the economy has significantly over-invested in housing."  Plossser went on, "I have advocated the elimination of Section 13(3) of the Federal Reserve Act, which allowed the Fed to lend directly to 'corporations, partnerships and individuals' under 'unusual and exigent circumstances.” Plosser also said, “We are in danger of assigning to monetary policy a larger role than it can perform, in danger of asking it to accomplish tasks that it cannot achieve, and, as a result, in danger of preventing it from making the contribution that it is capable of making.”

ITEM: Coming soon to a town near you? Just about the worst housing market in the country is found in Nevada. The absolute worst housing market in Nevada is in and around Las Vegas . . . so, guess what? Las Vegas construction companies are building homes like crazy. What, the??? Yes, it’s true. Apparently, because so many Las Vegas homes and especially new homes have stayed empty for so long . . . new home buyers in Las Vegas don’t want to move into the virtual ghost towns infested with mice and rats and other vermin . . . so the only course of action seems to be to build in whole new areas (and eventually bulldoze the empty “ghost towns?”).

ITEM: You know that British health care system that sent thrills up the legs of Obama and his progressive congress?  The system they want to emulate and imitate? British Prime Minister David Cameron says his government will make fundamental changes to Britain's state-run health care system," according to the Associated Press.  Cameron aims to save money and cut red tape by giving control over management to family practitioners rather than bureaucrats. He said Monday, “standards of care in Britain have fallen behind other European countries." You do remember that Dr. Donald M. Berwick, Obama’s Medicare and Medicaid administrator, praised Britain’s National Health Care system as "one of the truly astounding human endeavors of modern times" about 16 months ago.

ITEM: Hypocrisy comes unglued . . . . Is there something in Tucson’s water? One of the victims of Jared Loughner’s shooting spree in Tucson nine days ago was a man named James Eric Fuller. Mr. Fuller’s website:  http://www.hypnothoughts.com/profile/JamesEricFuller   states among other things: “I use extraordinary persuasive charisma to interest blasé, apathetic, oblivious and at times hostile voters to listen to the voice of justice and consanguinity.” In a crowded Tucson town-hall meeting, Fuller recently told a TEA Party leader, “You’re dead” and when removed by deputies, called out to all those assembled, “You’re wh_res!” This coming less than four days since Fuller made the round of talk show programs on radio and TV accusing Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Speaker of the House John Boehner and the TEA Party of full responsibility for the shooting that killed six and wounded fourteen. So whose speech is “uncivil” and “incendiary” and “violent,” Mr. Fuller? If you listen to the LEFT and you listen to the RIGHT in their own words and watch their actions (violent protests; in Arizona, Oakland, Seattle, Pittsburg, etc. compared with sedate TEA Partiers sitting in lawn chairs) you’ll find the vast majority of instances of such speech have long belonged to the LEFT and the violence of the speech is unquestionably theirs as well. We’re sorry Mr. Fuller got shot, but he and the LEFT needs to practice what he and the LEFT preach: non-violence, tolerance and fairness.

ITEM: The House of Representatives is voting this week to repeal Obamacare. As President Obama’s “State of the Union” speech approaches shortly afterward, we’ll get a good luck at his latest pledges “to work with Republicans” and “to refocus on jobs and the economy.” Shortly after that the House, now controlled by Republicans, will be dealing with raising the debt ceiling and seeking to rollback his unspent stimulus money; and to rollback the budget to levels not seen since 2008 or 2006. The President’s true colors (centrist or leftist) should emerge very soon.

ITEM:  The Obama Justice Department is siding with Labor Unions wanting to be able to pass out literature in front of shopping centers.  According to the union claims, Girl Scout cookie sellers and Salvation Army Santas show "unfairness" to Unions.  The Supreme Court has long held that unions and political activity can be treated differently than bona fide benevolent organizations with regard to free speech and assembly on private grounds; but Obama wants to waste your money to give the unions another chance . . . .

A Sad End to the American Era??

Greatly accelerated by the policies of Barack Obama and his progressive supporters, the bankruptcy of the United States is now a fact of lifeThe only questions left are A.  how and when the masses will become aware of it and B.  Will there be an honorable rebound or complete chaos as a result. Rajjpuut has long been warning about the ills of big government, unconstrained spending and of the deliberate betrayal of the country by the progressive-wing of the Democratic Party.

When the American Dollar loses the position it’s held for the last sixty years as the world’s reserve currency; virtually immediately a shift toward large-scale inflation will be incurred. How will you know that the curtain’s coming down on the American Greenback? Here are seven likely warning signs marking the end of the global U.S. Dollar standard (for most Americans that would mark the figurative “end of the world”) based upon historical antecedents in other countries which have seen their own currencies destroyed:

Warning Indicator #1: the price of gold will begin to accelerate toward it’s natural balance level of $12,000 per ounce.

Since the price of gold has already risen over ten consecutive years some say gold has already achieved the acceleration required to prove the point. Others might be suspicious, “If it’s risen that much, isn’t it time that gold started to drop, no investment always goes up.” True, true, but when a currency is being deliberately devalued by its government, gold and silver always get much more valuable compared to that country’s money; and make no mistake, the United States has been deliberately devaluing the Dollar for roughly the last 28 months; and incidentally devaluing it for roughly the last 45 years. Normally markets and the price of commodities fluctuate all over the place as time passes. But the steady rise of gold (the world’s preferred money) as it is priced in dollars over such an extended time period shows that the dollar is not being taken seriously by knowledgeable people.

Warning Indicator #2: Government’s deficits and liabilities are out of control and the interest on the national debt becomes a major source of deficit increase.

Because the deficits of the United States government are right now well over $1.3 TRillion annually; our national debt has doubled since 2005; our total national debt is over $14 TRillion; and UNfunded liabilities without counting items like welfare and food stamps have now reached $112 TRillion . . . it’s a safe bet that this benchmark has been passed. By the way, even the numbers we’re fed are absolutely false. Did you know that the government counts all $850 billion of payroll taxes (Medicare and Social Security) as current income when we all know that the money in question is supposed to be a “set aside” marked for its intended use only rather than included as “general revenue.”  If you or I or any business carried on their accounting this way, jail-time would be in the offing, but our government has been handling things this way as far as the Social Security "set-aside lockbox" for nearly 80 years.  That's why UNfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid amount to $112 TRillion, twice the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the entire world.

Warning indicator #3: Spending gets so out of control that generating high enough tax revenues to deal with federal spending becomes impossible.

Annual deficits are no longer related in any way to tax revenue.   Last year the Democratic-controlled congress refused to pass a budget . . . their most important duty according to the Constitution . . .  revenues were $1.1 TRillion and spending amounted to almost $3.7 TRillion and they want to raise the ceiling on the National Debt. Even if taxes tripled we’d still have run a significant deficit for the year . . . and yes, the interest on the debt runs to roughly $170 Billion yearly . . . all of that’s a sign that the crisis point has been passed.

Warning Indicator #4:   The political class begins to bail out and in doing so takes care of their cronies and of the masses to keep them under control -- all at the expense of the middle class.

Right now federal government unions; state and municipal unions; and other special interest groups are looting the U.S. and the 50 state treasuries. The Obama $787 Billion stimulus cost us a lot of free market real jobs, but the looters maintained and grew the government enormously while the rest of us suffered. $200 Billion per year is wasted on just the federal pensions; welfare amounts to $450 Billion per year; Social Security and Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid cost $1.8 TRillion and much of those funds is tied up in fraud, abuse and waste benefitting the political class . . . none of this was ever authorized by the U.S. Constitution . . . but wait, there’s more: remember national defense; border control and roads and all the other stuff the Constitution actually said the federal government must do? That an an equal amount on “discretionary spending that was never authorized by the Constitution amounst to roughly another $2.6 TRillion . . . aha, now you see why they didn’t want to create a budget! Tell me that a $5.1 TRillion budget with a $1.4 TRillion deficit wouldn’t shock the sensibilities of all sensible Americans. This warning indicator has been passed also.

Warning Indicator #5 The government will begin creating money out of thin air.

Yes, this too has already happened. Between late October, 2008 and today, the Federal Reserve Bank has printed and electronically created “magic money” amounting to roughly 29 times the amount of dollars circulating in September, 2008. Technically speaking the 2011 U.S. dollar is now worth 3.4 pennies-worth of the September, 2008 Dollar. In other words, all those banana republics we used to laugh about . . . well, our money is becoming less valuable than theirs. As Stansberry & Associates financial advisors reminds us:  If printing money were truly good for an economy, Zimbabwe would be the world’s wealthiest country.”  Yet that's precisely what we're being told by our President and by our financial leaders . . . .  Our Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has alternated between denying that he was “monetizing the debt” (a.k.a. “printing money”) and then defending the practice. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner denied the United States would ever resort to such “devaluation of the dollar” but it’s going on anyway; meanwhile Bernanke keeps busy explaining that it's not exactly "counterfeiting" what he's doing and it's actually good for the economy in the long run (not mentioning that it's a huge gamble with the future of the country and the planet in the short run). A planetwide “run on the dollar” could literally destroy our currency overnight. The whole world has warned about this; the credit-rating firms have pretended it’s not so, but expect it very soon.

Warning Indicator #6: We will not be able to repay our debts in the international community.

America’s $55 TRillion international debt amounts to $681, 178 per each American family of four. The average income of American families amounts to less than $50,000 per year. Just the interest on our international debt amounts to $34,000 per family per year. And if we resort to the printing presses to print of more dollars to pay the debt (OOOOPS, I forgot, we’re already doing that!) Then, first the interest rates for borrowing will skyrocket; then people and nations will stop loaning money to America, period.   Friends, once that happens the printing presses can run day and night and there’s no helping us . . . yep, we’ve passed this crisis point, too. The world’s greatest creditor nation has within the 45 year lifetime of President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “Great Society” which ushered in Medicare and Medicaid and dramatically expanded welfare programs of all ilks become the greatest DEBTOR nation the planet has ever seen.

Warning Indicator #7:   American citizens will catch on and, discovering that debt has the potential someday to evaporate in hours, they personally will churn out new debt like a bullet-train parting the atmosphere.

Despite all the talk of the American consumer “cutting back” and practicing austerity issuance of new debt in the United States is soaring. Public and private debt both reached record levels in 2010. The potential is that the economy will twist inside-out if this practice continues. This is the only one of the seven warning indicators that hasn’t yet come to pass.

IS THERE, INDEED, NO HOPE?

Where there’s life there’s hope . . . . Rajjpuut believes the individual ought to prepare himself and his family and other loved ones for the very worst; while still striving to do everything possible to prevent those ills from befalling all of us.  The HOPE that exists lies with the actions of
individuals protecting themselves^^ and quite frankly with the Republicans in the House of Representatives. UNLESS their actions signal a strong “about-face” to the rest of the world and to our nation’s financial momentum: we’re doomed within 18 months. Everything you and I can do as an individual and through leverage groups such as the TEA Party to change the fiscal- and Constitutional course of the nation must be done. Here’s a story to give us all hope.

Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican, was the first Progressive president, indeed his personal “Bullmoose Party” was officially called the “Progressive Party.” TR was, thankfully, a great American patriot and his modest progressivism actually benefitted the nation for the most part leading to modernization of the navy, for one good example and the building of the Panama Canal (the land for which was actually stolen from Colombia and renamed “Panama”; not only progressive but unethical as well). Woodrow Wilson was, up till Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, the most sinister progressive politician of them all. After running for a second term under the slogan “He kept us out of war,” within a month of his March, 1917 inauguration he put us into the European War. He left office with the nation undergoing the biggest depression up to that time. The conditions were much worse than what Herbert Hoover (another Republican Progressive) did himself in with. That late 1920 depression came to be known as “The Invisible Depression” after Wilson’s successor Warren G. Harding cut spending 49%; cut taxes 48%; and paid down the National Debt by 30% and was ended within 15 months . . . so it is possible to avert disaster but the Democrats seem to have embraced it and the Republicans must show the political will to do it pretty much on their own, with, of course, constant pressure from you and me.

^^  Purchasing a $100 face-value bag (or more) of "junk silver" might be the simplest most patriotic act you can do while saving yourself.  The bag would cost roughly $2,100 - $2,400 depending upon the value of silver when you buy.  IF and WHEN the currency fails, some sort of new money is going to be in high demand and the 90% silver dimes or quarters minted before 1965; are the most likely candites.  To a lesser extent the 40% silver money minted between 1965 to 1970 would also be accepted as a "new currency" but not nearly so readily as they will be worth 56% less than the 90% coins.

All the worst ideas still plaguing America (and a lot of other bad ideas as well) right now are rooted in progressivism, all of them. Think of the worst UNfunded liabilities initiated for “all the best motives” and you’ve described  tyrannical progressivism to a “T.” Here are some of those ideas and the president’ in power when they began:

1.       Truly Big Government: Teddy Roosevelt

2.     Government Control over large land tracts: Teddy Roosevelt

3.     The Federal Reserve Bank: Woodrow Wilson

4.     The Income Tax: Woodrow Wilson

5.     Fighting in Europe’s Wars: Woodrow Wilson

9.     Government welfare programs: Herbert Hoover
10. Land banks and other agricultural subsidies:  Herbert Hoover

11.Ultra-high protective tariffs: Herbert Hoover

12. Huge Tax and Spend Government: Franklin Delano Roosevelt

13.Confiscation of Gold: FDR

14. Devaluing the Dollar to fill government coffers: FDR

Government control of student loans: Barack Obama

34.  Financial control “reform”: Barack Obama

35.  Bailouts of Banks and Wall Street:  Barack Obama

36.  State Socialism: Barack Obama

Remembering the “Watermelon-Connection” wherein ultra-socialists “green on the outside and Deep RED on the inside” want to use Cap and Trade as a stepping-stone to government takeover of virtually everything because it practically requires nationalization of all of a nation’s enterprises; requires the all-powerful central government to control all decisions about what to produce, where to produce it, when to produce, where to market it, and how . . . . isn’t it fitting that Barack Obama and progressive-elitist and would-be president Kerry are so interested in this seriously flawed “science?”  And so looking over that unending list of failure every time serious government taxing, spending, control or interference is contemplated, Senator Kerry still just can’t understand why the masses of sheep are no longer following him to the slaughter house,  "It's absurd. We've lost our minds," he keeps repeating.

“Left-wing Lies Tie Slain Judge to 'Hateful Radio Talk Shows'”

Slain Judge Roll (Target of Death Threats

for Sensible Immigration Rulings)

Personally Applauded by Talk Radio

The word “assassin” is a derivative of the word “hashish” due to the fact that the original Arabian “assassins” did their work influenced by an ultra-THC-laden drug which steadied their nerves.   “Leftist pot smoker” Jared Loughner (who killed Federal Judge John M. Roll, a nine-year old girl and four other innocent victims; and wounded a U.S. Representative and thirteen other unlucky standers-by) according to the latest left-wing propaganda would have shot Judge Roll on purpose rather than incidentally because hate-filled right-wing talk show hosts were harassing him . . . WOW! That may be the LIE OF THE YEAR. Here’s the background and the truth . . . .

There seems only mild doubt that the deranged Tucson, AZ, shooter Loughner’s intended assassination target was Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords, a popular Democrat elected three times to the United States House of Representatives. It was after all Giffords who was conducting her “Congress on the Corner” event and Giffords he shot at point-blank range and presumably whom he shot first (the details are still not clear). Nevertheless, Loughner’s surprise harvest was the killing of federal judge John M. Roll, a conservative who has long been the target of death threats particularly for his immigration rulings over the years. John M. Roll, the chief federal judge in Arizona who was killed in the attack near Tucson, was described as “a tireless advocate for his district and no stranger to the risks of public service;” risks which included numerous death threats. The most famous of Roll’s decisions has angered many sympathetic to the “rights” of illegal immigrants.

In this highly publicized appeals trial, Roll (the presiding judge in the Ninth District Court of Appeals) found himself twice in an unusual illegal immigrant case wherein sixteen illegal immigrants were suing an Arizona rancher, Roger Barnett -- a Clint Eastwood wannabe -- who apparently had rounded up at least 12,000 illegals on his land since 1998 and turned them over to the U.S. Border Patrol. Barnett’s Cross Rail Ranch lies upon a major corridor for illegal crossings and Barnett has a very large dog and a very large gun. In the case in question, Barnett accosted eleven men and five women on his land in 2009 . . . .

The resulting suit from the trespassers was frivolous to say the least. The illegals wanted $32 million from Barnett for “violating their civil rights.” In his first contact with the case Judge Roll ruled in favor of the illegals’ lawyers who wanted the case to be tried before an American jury rather than handled administratively by the Border Patrol. The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF) which represented the illegal border-crossers aimed to make an example of Barnett for his “citizens' arrest tactics” which they said was dangerous and clearly stomped upon the illegals’ rights. After the jury trial was lost, the MALDEF lawyers appealed the case.

Again, Judge Roll found himself adjudicating “Barnett vs. the Illegal 16.” Judge Roll's decision against the illegals explained that “illegal aliens have no constitutionally protected right to travel in the U.S. and that people, like the Barnetts, who live in close proximity to the border can make a reasonable assumption that large groups of people they encounter hiding or trespassing on their land are doing so with the aid of smugglers, a federal felony for which private action is authorized under Arizona citizens' arrest and criminal trespass law."  Thus the Barnetts who were represented by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) won the case which is then tried to appeal to a higher court. IRLI lawyers easily dismantled the MALDEF argument that the sixteen illegal immigrant plaintiffs were detained by Barnett only because of their ethnicity, in this case all sixteen were Hispanics.

A notable side-effect of the case was the revelation that the Mexican government was using these impoverished illegals to further its agenda which acknowledges that $50 billion a year in that country’s income arrives courtesy of illegal aliens sending money orders home to Mexico.  Since on the one hand Mexican authorities are fighting a to the death battle against drug cartels and people-traffickers headed north and American guns headed south . . . conflicted interest is clearly on display here . . . .

Judge Roll who under ordinary times might have rejected the MALDEF maneuvering right from the git-go by allowing the Border Patrol to continue with normal administrative functions . . . erred on the side of political correctness and put himself literally inside the crosshairs. Four death threats were received by Roll from Hispanics upset by the case and he was advised by Federal Marshall David Gonzalez not to file charges against the men who’d threatened him.   Jared Loughner, of course, enters the situation here . . . .

Loughner’s listed his two favorite books as the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf and posted a very strange internet video depicting a wandering illegal alien Arab burning the flag. On top of all this, it’s believed that Loughner is the Daily Kos blogger “BoyBlue” who wrote two days before the shooting that “Rep. Giffords “was dead to me.” If so here’s what we know about BoyBlue:

1.       He’s an online supporter of gay activism . . . .

2.     He purportedly helped raise money for Giffords’ re-election.

3.     He felt betrayed by Giffords’ vote against Nancy Pelosi (ex-Speaker of the House) for Minority Leader following the 2010 elections which turned the House to Republican control. Most of us have seen the weird video of Pelosi hugging and kissing John Boehner. The vote was meaningless; Pelosi won the Minority Leader post easily.

4.    Online it went down like this . . . BoyBlue’s original posting, dated Jan. 6, 2011, "My Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords voted against Pelosi and is now dead to me" was scrubbed hours after the massacre on January 8, then reposted when someone at the Daily Kos, impersonating "BoyBlue" made an apology. Obviously trying to keep the Daily Kos from being the supportive element of the vitriolic element that led to the tragedy . . . which made it easier to blame “the TEA Party and other hate-groups and their violent rhetoric” and made it easier to cover-up BoyBlue being Loughner, IF, indeed that is the case.

5.     Loughner as BoyBlue says he raised $100,000 for Giffords.  This needs to be verified. This seems highly dubious; Loughner doesn’t appear to have had the organization skills for any long-term commitment such as this.

6.     Undeniable, however, is that Loughner had been a frequent visitor at Giffords’ Congress on the Corner events over the last three and a half years. “Stalking” may be too strong a word,

but from a creepy fellow like this:  support and affection can be a dangerous thing.

7.     IF Loughner is the BoyBlue blogger, then the Jan. 6, posting sounds very much like the words of a jilted or scorned “lover.” Perhaps we’ll find out more since the FBI is involved and Pima Sheriff Clarence Dupnik doesn’t have the final say in the investigation . . . .

You've seen left-wing statements (shall we call them "lies?") that tie Judge Roll's death threats to "hateful right-wing" talk shows and the Giffords' assassination attempt to "conservative politics as usual" . . . how impressed are you now with these arguments?   As Paul Harvey loved to say, “Now you know the rest of the story,” well at least part of it.

Government- and Voter-Caused
Wussification of USA Abetted
by Mainsteam Lamestream Media

It really sucks to be an American taxpayer these days . . . .
In the Esquire interview of Clint Eastwood linked above, the no-nonsense Hollywood star talks about the “Wussy Generation” of Americans (Eastwood prefers P’s to W’s, of course).   Like Eastwood tens of millions of Americans have been realizing for about six years now that something is dreadfully wrong with our country.   In fact a “dreadfully, dreadfully, dreadfully” dour future awaits us if we don’t change the nation‘s direction immediately.

Perhaps a recent release of FBI classified documents from the 1930’s point us toward the insidious force encouraging our decay: one of those reports details the ties of the newly-born American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in 1931 to the Communist Party in Stalin’s Soviet Union; another shows that up until 1989, the CPUSA (Communist Party USA) got its marching orders directly from the Soviet Union.   Follow-up documents on the ACLU clearly show that throughout its early history, the ACLU was a communist-front organization.

http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2005/08/17/communist-history-of-the-most-dangerous-organization-in-america/

If one but looks at the headlines generated by the progressive politicians (mostly Democrats, but both major parties are well-represented) and compares them to the stance of this organization day after day . . . a strong correlation will be obvious. Don’t believe me, check it out for yourself for 30 days and tell me if you don’t get 95% or higher congruence of messages between what our Progressive Party (nominally known as the Democrats) is saying and what this group is saying:

http://cpusa.org/

If you haven’t got the intelligence and perseverance to do this simple check, by the way, consider yourself a big part of the problem, an enabler, and not one of those seeking to get our country back because 6-8% of the populace calling themselves progressives, liberals and socialists have aligned themselves tightly to the same agenda as the CPUSA . . . .

But all our pains didn’t originate from beyond our borders. In the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s certainly the lead given by self-ascribed “Neo-Marxist” community organizer Saul Alinsky and his followers Richard Cloward and Frances Piven and the strong “positive” response by thoughtless and often violent young Americans in joining their cause, did us no good. Alinsky (author of Reveille for Radicals in 1946 and Rules for Radicals in 1971); Cloward and Piven; and Alinsky students Hillary Clinton nee Rodham and Barack Obama, however, points at DELIBERATE home-grown American leadership as a major cause in bringing on our own demise. Today, of course, the SDS radicals of the past now own the Obama White House.

While a man like Glenn Beck is drawing an incredible amount of American awakening upon us . . . the truth is that most Americans have shown themselves too complacent and lazy and glued to computer games and sitcoms and their living room couches. These are the members of the Wussy Generation that Eastwood was referring to:

http://www.esquire.com/features/what-ive-learned/clint-eastwood-quotes-0109

However, while it’s true that in a Republic founded upon democratic principles such as we have, ultimately the people get the government they deserve . . . the greater truth is that because the progressive (Neo-Marxist/Socialist) wing of the Democratic Party has been calling the shots in this country since the days of Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ratcheting up the Welfare State and ratcheting up Viet Nam conflict and giving us the second major debasement of the currency (FDR confiscating all the nation’s gold and then re-pegging the value of the dollar from $21.76 per ounce of gold to $35 an ounce – an overnight theft by the government of 61% of Americans’ savings in 1934 – was the first one) . . . it’s fair and accurate to say that our government has mostly stupidly, but occasionally deliberately “done us in.”

America’s “karma” sucks. You reap what you sow and uninformed and lazy Americans have given us rotten and corrupt politicians pretty much straight through since Calvin Coolidge with the notable exceptions of Ronald Reagan, Harry Truman and JFK.  Kennedy and Reagan were, of course, our great tax-cutting champions (91% tax on the wealthy when JFK took office!); and Truman is the one who defied his own party’s home base in the south to remove all obstacles on the road to full integration. With the exception of those three and to a far, far lesser extent the two President Bushes and Dwight Eisenhower (he was in office when the government was stealing 91% from some of its citizens but otherwise served well), our executive branch and the two houses of congress have clearly “done us in.”  Our federal government has been behind most of the destructive forces at play today . . . .

$14 TRillion national debt: government caused . . .

$112 TRillion UNfunded national liabilities (Social Security; Medicare; the federal side of Medicaid): government caused . . .

The probable bankruptcy of all 50 our states and Puerto Rico not later than 2023 (the state side of Medicaid now mandated by Obamacare created by our federal government will “do the states in”): government caused . . .

Our monstrous and crazy tax system and our perverse hatred of success . . . politician and government caused . . .

The debasement of our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights: all government caused by folks who swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States . . .

The loss of our national pride and heritage and belief in the wonderful doctrine of American Exceptionalism that made us a magnet to the world’s freedom-loving peoples – largely lost because of government causation . . .

The destruction of the American Dollar, the present world’s reserve currency, government caused . . .

The loss of tens of millions of manufacturing jobs by the world’s #2 highest corporate income tax; and incessant government interference in business, government caused.

Progressive taxation creating a country in which 47% of the people pay zero taxes and the successful are taxed to support them, government caused . . .

We could go on and on and on and on about problems that are government caused . . .

The end result is that the Marxist/Socialist elements in the present government are now on the verge of replacing the greatest system of government and the greatest way of life ever known with the absolute worst (the word “Democide” describes a Ruling State killing off its own people; in the 20th Century Marxist dictatorships in Red China, the USSR; Viet Nam; Cambodia; East Germany; the Warsaw Pact nations; Cuba; etc. killed off a minimum of 124 million of their own people). When it comes to killing liberty, death is an extreme measure by heavy-handed governments and the worst have historically been communist regimes . . . and yet we admire Mao and Che along with Mother Teresa . . . .

Whether it’s wealth redistribution or killing off citizens . . . for some perverse reason we have made a hero of these people in our American culture and the mainstream media (MSM) has not reported upon this adoration of mass-murderers. And more importantly the American mainstream-lamestream media have been the handmaiden of government corruption . . . for example . . .

Here are the major stories that simple-pimple honest journalism would have uncovered, but which the leftist-leaning liberal media overlooked and thus abated our decay . . . how many of these stories were you aware of?

ITEM: While unabashedly bandying about (with absolutely no evidence) the lie that the TEA Party consists of racist hatemongers for roughly two years now, the MSM has for two and a half years let a story that tells a slightly different story go totally unreported. According to taped interactions and FBI informant Brandon Darby, an undercover member of the leftwing Austin Affinity Group who a couple years earlier had called himself a “revolutionary” and who up till then routinely called for the overthrow of the United States government, AAG and several other progressive groups united under the title “RNC Welcoming Committee” aimed to shutdown the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul using among other things Molotov Cocktails consisting of bottles filled with gasoline with attached wicks made from tampons. "They mixed gasoline with oil so it would stick to clothing and skin and burn longer," according to Darby. Sounds a bit like napalm, now doesn’t it? Darby, today, is on the lam because his wanted poster is featured in just about every leftist “action” group headquarters one can find. Naturally, if a radical of the right had “betrayed” the attack upon the Democratic National Committee he would have been named a hero and had movies and TV shows about him. Why the difference? Because even the crudest violence from the left is assumed to be “well-intentioned" by those in the know among the MSM.

Item:  Notice how they’ve tried to brand Saturday’s Arizona assassin as a TEA Party “nutcase” when he’s been stalking Representative Giffords for longer than the TEA Party existed and a list of his favorite books include the Communist Manifesto and the young man is also a 9/11 Truther (you know, one of those fanatics like Obama’s ex Green Jobs Czar Van Jones who believes George W. Bush and the American government organized the attacks on 9/11/2001) . . . or did you NOT know about Van Jones? The MSM gave a paragraph here and there saying Van Jones resigned, but not mentioning the fact that he’d been under scrutiny for two months as a 9/11 Truther and a self-acknowledged communist. MSM was reluctant to say much about the Van Jones situation.  As for the "violent rhetoric" of Sarah Palin:  'tis amazing how President Obama's "If they bring a knife to the fight, we'll bring a gun" comment escaped the MSM's attention and the posters calling for the death of GWB and burning him in effigy, those weren't violent either . . . Mr. Obama who so pointedly asked all Americans to avoid jumping to any conclusions after a Muslim connected to Al Qaeda killed 13 fellow American soldiers . . . seems quite content to allow his fellow progressives to blame conservatives for the Arizona tragedy.  You do remember that the report on the Ft. Hood shootings didn't even mention the name of the shooter; nor of his religion; nor once use the words "terrorism"; "Islam" or the phrase "Islamic terrorist" when clearly those words were necessary to describe the simple truth.  Political correctness like that is shocking, but even more so because the MSM honored Obama's wishes like they were sacred text . . . .

ITEM: Obama, both Clinton’s, Al Gore, Franklin Raines, Joel Rogers, Maurice Strong, George Soros, many in Goldman-Sachs management, Richard Sandor and roughly 50 other key progressive Democratic politicians stood to make a fortune off of their CCX (the Chicago Climate Exchange) investments if Cap and Trade were passed into law. Only after 18 months of direct Fox News and conservative internet revelations was CCX made defunct by these people. Now many of them are relying on their investments in European carbon-exchanging as a second-chance to pull in the cap and trade wealth. Naturally this is all totally UNcovered in the lamestream MSM.

ITEM: however, in Europe the global warming lie is front and center

so much so that environmentalists are now largely distrusted in Europe. Eco-terrorists burning SUVs and trying to sabotage lumberjacks have been known as “mean-greenies” in England as well as America for some time.  Now the term is branching out to cover hate-spewing environmentalists who appear interested in destroying the industrial revolution’s seeds altogether with ever-expanding government regulation. More shocking is the term “watermelon.” A watermelon is someone supposedly “green on the outside, but pink to deep RED on the inside,” that is a Marxist or ultra-socialist proponent who wants cap and trade because the only way such a burdensome “TAX” on the modern way of life could come about is via creation of the virtual totalitarian state necessary to impose cap and trade on the citizens of the world. None of this is common knowledge on this side of the Atlantic because the MSM doesn’t want to cover it, just as they failed to cover the Climate Gate Scandal now fourteen months old . . .

Item: President Barack Obama has on roughly 1500 occasions (averaging more than twice daily) blamed the Bush administration that preceded him for the present debacle. He has even made a point of telling a little fable about a car driven into the ditch by conservative policies, we’ve all heard it. The truth, however, which takes just a bit of actual journalistic gumption to discover, is quite different and we’ve got the evidence for it which also has not been covered by the MSM:

George W. Bush saw Obama, Bill Clinton, ACORN and progressive politicians DELIBERATELY pushing the car (America’s economy) toward a 500-foot cliff. Jumped in and grabbing the steering wheel and hitting the brakes eased it into the nearest friendly-looking ditch.

Can that be true? It’s 100% true and Rajjpuut has written several blogs revealing in great detail all the easily discoverable information that the MSM has deliberately chosen not to cover showing that Barack Obama worked first as a Marxist leaning community organizer and then as an ACORN attorney brow-beating and shaking down lenders so they would make knowingly bad home mortgage loans to people (based upon the progressive CRA '77 law and its five expansions)  without a lame race horse’s chance of ever paying off their homes. And, of course that’s the mildest of it all . . . even that mild stuff has never been printed in the MSM.

The problem is also largely inside the voters as well. The fact that Barack Obama has promised to “bankrupt the coal industry” and that his energy policies “will necessarily make the price of electricity skyrocket”*** has been well known and the citizens still supported this maniac? But again, this is the smallest of small potatoes . . . the government really did us in and Americans should know it. For the full truth go here:

Only “We the People,” the citizens can save the country, most of the ruling politicians have already made contingency plans based upon complete financial upheaval. This is NOT the time to be apathetic, ignorant and blasé.

Also well-known is the Obama promise to create five million Green-tech jobs. The well-known Spanish study of the ills brought upon that country (from 4% unemployment in 1997 to 20.8% today) if extrapolated to Obama’s five million subsidized green jobs would be:

a.      11 million jobs in the real (unsubsidized) economy lost since in Spain every subsidized green-tech job cost 2.2 real jobs

b.     Only 10% of the green jobs created proved permanent in Spain which means only 500,000 of the green jobs created by Obama would be permanent or 22 real jobs would be lost for every subsidized green job created.

c.     As in Spain, jobs of three weeks duration would be counted just as much as a permanent job created.

d.    The average green tech job will pay $10-$14 per hour about 2/3 the pay for the average real job lost.

e.     Spain has gone from the second strongest economy in Europe behind only Germany to one of the four or five worst economies in Europe very close to Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Portugal.

What do call the economy of a country with a 35% corporate tax rate? How about “dismal?” “Pathetic?” Perhaps “out of touch?”  How about “American?”
The United States enters the second decade of the third millennium with the second highest corporate taxes in the industrialized world; but it won’t stay there for long . . . Japan’s Prime Minister Naoto Kan said he will lower that nation’s corporate tax rate from 40% to 35%. That's almost funny . . . Kan expects to revive his nation's moribund economy by dropping them into a tie for first place corporate taxer with America?  Germany with one of the healthier world economies charges 29%; South Korea does better and has only a 24% corporate tax.
Republicans planning to spur job creation have announced their goal of a 20% corporate tax retroactive to today, New Year’s Day January 1, 2011 to stimulate the economy and jobs growth the old-fashioned way by rewarding job-creators directly. Right now American corporations are seeing a huge growth in jobs . . . but . . . overseas in far friendlier tax environments. But the issue is not just important to Republicans and TEA Party members, but actually bi-partisan.
According to G.O.P. Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire and Oregon Senator Ron Wyden, a Democrat a twosome who are co-sponsoring a bill to make an 11% tax cut down to 24%, by eliminating a few tax breaks and instituting the corporate tax cut, the United States will instantaneously become far more competitive “with the world’s present up-and-coming economies.” However, there do appear to some Grinches in the picture: Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Grinchiest of them all: Barack Obama. Despite the balanced approach favored by Wyden and Gregg, Obama-Pelosi-Reid and their progressive followers insist that the corporate tax hike can only occur if energy taxes are allowed to rise. Let’s see, energy prices go up; then transportation prices go up; then the price of everything in the economy really goes up and . . . you guessed it, we’ll see fewer jobs in America not more.
It’s high time Barack Obama admitted that his two most evil . . . promises which he made in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle in 2008 before the election . . .

#1 “My energy policy will bankrupt the coal industry”
and
#2 “In accord with my cap and trade energy program, the price of electricity will necessarily sky-rocket . . .”
and his even eviler promise
#3 To “create five million green-tech jobs” which (if the study of the decimation of Spain’s economy after a similar program was initiated taking the country from less than 4% unemployment to 20.8% today) can be expected to cost 11 million jobs in the wider American economy (not to mention that in all similar instances, only 10% <500,000> of the green jobs will prove permanent) . . . altogether these three promises will literally destroy the American economy if Obama is allowed to keep them.
Grow up, Mr. President, learn the lessons most of us learned in our college Econ-101 Class:
  • A.     What government taxes you get less of. Tax energy profits more there’ll be less energy profits.
  • B.    “Profit” is not an evil word. Profit keeps the doors of a business open.  Profit keeps the company from becoming a bailout candidate.  Profit creates jobs. Tax energy profits and we’ll not only see fewer energy jobs from the real economy; we’ll see far fewer jobs across the entire economy.
  • C.    Government interference in the free market is the chief cause of the booms and bust cycles in those markets.
Speaking of “government interference” a.k.a. government boondoggles, do you remember what happened shortly after progressive President Jimmy Carter was inaugurated roughly 34 years ago? They created a new program forcing the banks and mortgage companies to knowingly make bad home loans with something called the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977.   Funny thing, in Arkansas the very same year of CRA ’77, they created the Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) which helped Bill Clinton become governor of that state via a bit of voter fraud; meanwhile they were browbeating Arkansas lenders into complying with that stupid law. Later as President, Bill Clinton would expand that law four times (Regulatory expansion as soon as he was elected in 1993; two new legal expansions in 1995; and the steroid version of CRA ’77 in 1998. In 1975, for every 404 home loans only one was completed at 3% down payment or less.
In 2005, 34% of home loans were written at 3% down or less (many of them at 0% to people without jobs; without good credit ratings; whose only “income” was food stamps; and even to illegal aliens all thanks to the nationwide, grown-up version of ACORN (now the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). That despite the progressives claims that it was the free market that gave us the current debacle . . . that was what caused the sub-prime lending crisis that precipitated the current meltdown. By the way George W. Bush spoke to Congress 19 times before a 2007 law somewhat reining in CRA ’77 was passed in July, 2007 . . . a  law 30 months later and far, far less effective than the law he asked for originally in January, 2005.
As far as the corporate tax rate, the ball will soon be in Mr. Obama’s court. Nancy Pelosi has no more power to stop it. Harry Reid will probably NOT be able to stop it. Let’s see if Mr. Obama grows up and learns his lessons; let’s see how he plays tennis . . . .

 Happy New Year 2011,

We DO Live in Interesting Times

The Freedomworks.org “2010 Year in Review,” at:

http://www.freedomworks.org/publications/2010-year-in-review

records the highlights of a mixed but, on balance, quite positive year 2010 for those of us who value and are willing to speak up and act to maintain America’s freedoms. Among the seven negative events mentioned, the three biggest lowlights of the year are clearly the signing into law of Obamacare; the one-year anniversary of the Obama stimulus with negative results on the jobs front at a cost to the taxpayers of $787 Billion; and the passage of the Dodd-Frank financial overhaul which, like Obamacare has the potential to prove itself one of the least principled government boondoggles in history.

Among the thirteen positive events FreedomWorks listed, the top five arguably were these:

A.     The one year anniversary of the Tea Party protest movement championing fiscal- and Constitutional-conservativism and smaller, more competent government was celebrated.

B.    The Defeat of the Disclose Act (which even the ACLU was against) was a huge step for freedom of expression.

C.    The Election Day shift in paradigm from government-as-usual to government by the people.

D.   The Sound Money Panel was held on Capitol Hill.

E.    A Virginia judge has declared the mandated requirement of taxpayers to buy health insurance “Unconstitutional.”

Other lowlights listed by Freedomworks included Elena Kagan’s nomination and confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court; Ben Bernanke’s Quantitative easing which threatens to exacerbate inflation concerns; the “mini-TARP” Small Business and Credit Act became law; and the International Monetary Fund (The IMF largely financed by America) agreed to bail out Greece. The FreedomWorks site also ran . . .

http://www.freedomworks.org/publications/top-10-ways-the-obama-budget-wastes-taxpayer-money

their top ten ways Obama’s been wasting taxpayer money. Rajjpuut strongly agrees with the first four items on this FreedomWorks list; generally sees the strength of their position on items #5-9 and thinks they missed the boat altogether on item #10 which he’d regard as vital for technological breakthrough and national defense. The reader is advised to visit the site and make up his/her own mind.

Enjoy a wonderful 2011, Happy New Year!

Inelegant END-RUNS Rule the Day
Obama and Obamacare Officials SPIT

Cheerfully on U.S. Constitution AGAIN!

To progressives, liberals, socialists, Marxists and other Obama fans, this is literally “less than nothing.” To living, breathing, feeling, thinking patriotic Americans the latest two outrages against our constitution and common decency enacted by the Obama administration are the final insults and a declaration of war against America and decent Americans . . . before we get to the latest desecration of the American Way of Life, let’s look at the serious Constitutional principles involved . . . .

Any intelligent American knows that the system of checks and balances written into the Constitution by the Founding Fathers and the separation of the branches of government by giving us independent judiciary, house, senate and executive branches was done to protect our freedoms and allow the nation’s business to be conducted in a sensible and orderly fashion. Laws are not supposed to be created from the bench; or from the Oval office . . . that is the province of the house and senate.

ITEM: When any judge can decide to tell the military how to run their business (for example: when a Riverside, California judge can order an injunction on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policies which will take action in 60 days) over-ruling congress without even a high-level appellate court getting involved and, by the way, unenthusiastically opposed in court by the Obama Department of Justice, that is an outrage.

ITEM: When failing to pass Cap and Trade legislation in early 2009; the Obama administration can order its Mean Greenies (willing to sabotage jobs and other human good for their distorted reading of ecological “necessity”) in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue a new regulatory standard on emissions declaring “Carbon dioxide is a toxic emission . . .” thus bypassing the congress and defiling the EPA’s own charter that is an outrage. When a legal challenge reminded EPA officials that they were required to do a study on their own and not allowed to rely on outside “research” before making such a move . . . and the EPA backed off and now . . . ten months later, not having done any legitimate study the EPA is once again calling CO2 (which plants need to live and to use to provide us with oxygen) a dangerous emission . . . that is a horrific outrage.

ITEM: When the EPA can make another such edict and stop farmers in Central California from irrigating their vegetable fuels (thus putting lots of people out of work and driving the cost of foodstuffs higher) citing danger to a 2” long fish (the delta smelt) rather than coming up with a cheap and efficient and effective way to stop the danger (EPA could surely come up with a smelt-danger pheromone, for example) to keep the dumb fish from getting near the irrigation intake, no? Why is it the farmer’s problem?) and thus putting much of the area around Fresno, California into 40% unemployment, that is a disgustingly short-sighted outrage.

ITEM: When rather than backing up and taking the time to do right by a major piece of legislation, President Obama can flim-flam an idiot like Bart Stupak to swinging the dozen or so so-called anti-abortion Democrats in the house to back Obamacare by giving him a single sheet of paper with the president’s promise that no federal funding of abortion is authorized under Obamacare and four months later we find out that the very earliest covered Obamacare “medical treatments” include federally-funded abortions . . . that is a monstrous outrage.

ITEM: When Obama promised that control over health issues by you and your doctor was inviolate and would be preserved by Obamacare that was the ultimate lie as you’ll see . . . .

ITEM: When for the first time in a lame-duck session a nuclear arms-reduction treaty is passed based upon President Obama’s promise (oral, this time) that the treaty will not affect U.S. missile defense that is an utterly dangerous outrage.

ITEM: When the Democratic dominated congress does not fulfill its most basic function and pass a budget while driving the country deeply into debt and Unfunded liabilities by passing outrageous spending bills and huge government boondoggles (like Obamacare); and passes several thousand page bills which have not seen the light of day in committees; are not even read or posted; and never offered up for meaningful debate or amendment; and told we can’t find out what’s in them until after they’re passed . . . that is Constitutional outrage of the highest order.

What do all these outrages have in common? Every one of them is a refutation of Obama’s word on bi-partisanship; openness; transparency; and meaningful change; as well as a deliberate spitting upon the Constitution of the United States. And now we see a couple more acts in the continuing drama Barack Obama Uses the Founding Documents for Toilet Paper . . .  in a series of end runs, Obama shows us once again his total contempt for our Constitution and all great things American . . . .

Among Obama’s other lies about Obamacare (not one dime added to the debt; no abortion funding; you can keep your present insurance; etc.) was the promise that no “death panels” were created by the bill. “Death Panels” also called “review boards,” mean government-conducted oversight of potential treatment to the elderly; the very young; the very sick; and severely injured people; and government-decision making allowing operations and treatment under these circumstances or denying circumstances . . . thus the name “death panel” is fitting. The death panel’s encouragement and authorization of “end of life consultations” (“Do you want to pull the plug?” “How about now, should we pull the plug?” “Have you thought this over real carefully, shouldn’t we just go ahead and pull that nasty old plug?” “Are you there yet --- ready to pull the plug?” “Are you there yet . . . ?) enraged the public so the provisions for it were removed in the Obamacare law that was passed.

Now, however, these hideous laws are back with a vengeance courtesy of the Obama administration and its bureaucratic fiats from Medicare officials. Representative Earl Blumenauer and Senator Jay Rockefeller who led the Democrats’ effort in Congress to pass Section 1233 of pending Medicare legislation, which would have paid doctors to include "end of life" counseling in their patients' physical checkups, the Congress as a whole voted to delete that provision from the original bill so Obamacare would have some hope of passing. Now that an even worse regulation has been created and added to the health care processes of the nation . . . Blumenauer has sent out an e-mail asking his supporters “not to say anything, as his office on the one hand praised the Medicare bureaucratic action but warned: "While we are very happy with the result, we won't be shouting it from the rooftops because we are not out of the woods yet." If this new regulation is so wonderful, why NOT shout it from the rooftops and alert the citizenry? Here’s why . . . .
Speaker of the House designate, John Boehner, objected mightily to this provision in 2009, saying: "This provision may start us down a treacherous path toward government-encouraged euthanasia."  Now as Boehner feared we have not only “gone down the treacherous path toward government-sponsored and government-rewarded euthanasia” . . . we have done so by virtue of the actions of a lowly bureaucrat, someone we’ve never elected!!!

The great columnist Thomas Sowell put it this way, “Whatever the merits or demerits of the proposed provision in Medicare legislation, the Constitution of the United States makes the elected representatives of "we the people" the ones authorized to make such decisions. But when proposals explicitly rejected by a vote in Congress are resurrected and stealthily made the law of the land by bureaucratic fiat, there has been an end run around both the people and the Constitution.”

While the START Treaty vote can potentially get us blown to heaven or hell; there is no doubt that the Death Panels and the Death-Encouragement Education are the first step in Obama and Science Czar John Holdren’s master plan to kill off citizens whose lives prove to be too inconvenient to be continued . . . and clearly the chances for opponents of the administration to fit into that undesirable category are multiplied a hundredfold. Brave New World of HOPE AND CHANGE.
Can you remember Obama insulting conservative America as if he'd won 95% of the popular and electoral vote in 2008 . . . he said, "Elections have consequences" and went on to totally ignore all conservative voice and to ram his socialist agenda down our craws.   And once again he was lying, elections only have consequences when they go Obama's way.  He has zero intention of getting the message the 2010 election sent his way, ZERO!  "What's the big commotion?"  Can't you just hear the progressive Obama fans, to them this is literally “no big deal" moving toward adding "euthanasia by omission of treatment" as a prerogative of BIG GOVERNMENT.  This  continuous desecration, these outrages, these deliberate affronts to living, breathing, feeling, thinking patriotic Americans and common decency enacted by the Obama administration are the final insults and a declaration of war against America and decent Americans . . .

“The world as we know it, will in a sudden flash, disappear . . . .”

Warning, Unmitigated Catastrophe Waits Ahead,
Capitalism Crippled and Undermined

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year:   the very best to you and your families!
A crisis is upon us. That is, there are potential problems, even dangers you must choose to either avoid or face and there are potential opportunities which you must either exploit or allow to slip away. If you do nothing, alas, you will definitely face the dangers and miss the opportunities. “What is the nature of the crisis?” you ask. In a phrase:  American civilization is at severe risk as the collapse of our long-time friend and trusted storehouse of value, the American Dollar, is upon us. I’ll begin with a quick word on A. how it happened . . . then provide B. proof a crisis exists . . . C. Give a quick rundown on the likely scenario as the realized problem begins to play out in everyday lives of the common folk . . .  and finally D. some sage advice about protecting yourself and your family.

A.     How did it happen?  Up until the 2010 elections we have been dominated for 82 years by a political philosophy known as Progressivism (“We must ‘progress’ beyond the ‘outdated and ill-conceived’ U.S. Constitution if we hope to ‘progress’ toward our earthly (socialist) Utopia.”) The most “progressive” of politicians of the United States for some 65 years now at a minimum have undermined capitalism and the Constitution and destroyed the American Meritocracy that made this nation the hope of the world for over 200 years. They have also considered themselves the only truly important special interest group and have used the resources of the country to ensure their repeated re-election. This ploy has worked because the people have lazily and ignorantly (not aware; not caring to educated themselves about political activities) allowed the politicians uninterrupted benefit from promising us the various free lunches we’ve so craved.  In those 65 years the nation has amassed not only a $14 TRillion debt but more importantly $112 TRillion in unfunded liabilities. One example will suffice: the so-called “Cash for Clunkers” program diverted new car sales forward roughly two and a half months on average but otherwise did NOT affect auto sales. The program was very expensive and the American taxpayer bore the huge burden. Meanwhile, like all government programs we were not advised of the “unintended but easily foreseeable consequences” of this government interference. So many decent and serviceable used cars disappeared just like that, that the price of the average used car following “Cash for Clunkers” rose $1,800 . . . and even now 17 months later, the average used car still costs $1,100 more than it should have been expected to cost. What is the end result? Society is not only poorer by 700,000 used vehicles deliberately destroyed . . . the poorer citizens now face greater expense in the future when purchasing used vehicles. Yet, in comparison to the typical government spending boondoggle, which on a scale of 1-10 probably rates a 1.75 or less, Cash for Clunkers was a roaring success . . . let us call it an 8.0;  for comparison, Obamacare will rate a deeply negative number . . . but enough of that, you’ve got the picture what 65 years of Government Spending Boondoggles amounts to . . . the combined more than $125 TRillion the country’s obligated for is roughly 2.8 times the GDP (gross domestic product) of the entire world . . . .
B.    As if the debt and unfunded liabilities statistics were not enough, in late 2008, the Federal Reserve Bank used the money-printing presses and began to print up 14 times the amount of paper dollars already in circulation making a combined total of 15 times the original amount circulating around the nation. Theoretically, therefore, the June, 2008 dollar was worth 15 times the value of the June, 2009 dollar since the amount of goods and services did not increase. By the law of supply and demand the 2009 dollar was theoretically worth 6 2/3 pennies worth of the 2008 dollar. Recently the Federal reserve has used another method of creating money out of thin air called “quantitative easing” twice in the last five months and will do so once again in February, 2011. The net result of all this new “money-magic” is that the 2011 dollar will be worth (theoretically) the same as 3 ½ cents worth of the 2008 dollar. In any other country on earth this would have meant immediate and crippling inflation . . . . the United States had one huge advantage that up till now allowed the nation to willy-nilly print as many new dollars any time the government wished: the United States has been the preferred world storehouse of value for 65 years (a.k.a. the “world’s reserve currency” was the American dollar) as nations all over the globe including our enemies trafficked in dollars the most consistently-trusted currency among all the 208 nations of the world. Before World War II the world’s reserve currency was the British Pound Sterling which had born that noble role for about two centuries. The Brits after the end of World War II tried to inflate their currency and spend their way out of debt . . . it didn’t work and hundreds of billions of pounds worldwide were sold in a heated rush as nations and individuals stampeded away from the pound to the dollar. This is why the United States didn’t resume the financial problems we’d known prior to World War II . . . we had become the owners of the most preferred money in the world and our economy was buoyed up then and has been wonderfully blessed ever since. Of course the truly in the know people, the wealthy, kept huge amounts of their wealth protected in gold, silver, and collectible like art and numismatic coins and rare stamps; and, of course, property . . . but that’s another story . . . in any case the bottom line today is that the stampede into the dollar that saved our bacon in 1945 and ’46 has reversed directions right now. Currently it’s an orderly retreat by nations like China, Russia, Japan, Turkey and Brazil . . . countries who don’t want to cause a panic by selling too many dollars at once since their reserve funds are so deeply, deeply dedicated to greenbacks . . . someday soon it’ll become a panic as everybody and their poor relations stampedes to trade dollars for anything of value. Nobody with any sense wants to stay in a currency which has multiplied its paper presence 28.5 times in less than 25 months. Yes, some of these foreigners will be badly hurt by the collapse of the dollar and its loss of “world reserve currency” status, but, that’s nothing compared to the problems facing Americans for whom the dollar is our personal friend and trusted storehouse of value. This should become noticeable within 18 months.
C.    Don’t expect things to be pretty . . . when Americans find that overnight their dollar’s buying capacity has been drastically diminished . . . they’re going to be shocked, frightened, angry and very bitter. If the dollar starts a headlong plunge toward its true value (3.5 pennies) absolute panic could very well ensue. The strikes in Greece, Italy, England and France we’ve seen and the coming demonstrations and panic in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Hungary and all the British Isles (the Euro is far preferable to the dollar, but nothing to cheer about) are infinitesmal compared to what we betrayed Americans will feel toward our government. The TEA (Taxed enough already) Party groundswell of protest against the government these last two years has been circumspect, logical and respectful.    When less patriotic people who’ve been buying the government’s promises for the last 65 years suddenly find they’ve been taken by a scam that makes Bernie Madoff look like an inept pickpocket . . . well, you get the idea Expect violence lots of it and a lot of incredible hardships especially for the poor, the elderly and just about everyone excepts crooks and conmen (“speculators” of all classes will be about the only ones enriched by the situation if preventive measures aren’t taken by the government to reverse the direction now in play; or more likely by smart individuals seeking to protect their wealth and families). America, indeed the world, as we know it, will in a sudden flash, disappear . . . .
D.   There are no guarantees, physical danger can be expected to ride along with economic ruin . . . prudence says that big cities will be flashpoints and hunger riots and ceasing of services like electricity and heat all carry enormous power to injure, deprive, and cause suffering.   Utter self-sufficiency (food stored; safe haven; silver or gold or a trusted foreign currency to use as money when stores won’t accept the dollar; weapons present and the will to use them if necessary) is almost impossible . . . but any steps in the right direction are preferable to apathy or worse (joining in the rioting).

One step Ol’ Rajjpuut would advise for anyone interested in avoiding problems would be the purchase of a $100 face-value bag of “junk-silver” right now costing roughly $2,350. It’s conceivable that in a severe monetary crisis, merchants may so crave some fundamental storehouse of value that a couple of pre-1964 dimes might provide a person with a day’s nutrition.
A second step would be for someone in your family to learn the art of safe canning; or for your family to accumulate five or six month’s worth of non-perishable groceries or perhaps even more such stores.
A third step would be to let those you know and love in on the probable truth about the upcoming dangers. The more people as a whole who are self-sufficient, the less danger we all face.

Here’s hoping we’re 100% wrong.

Repairing the American Republic
in Ten** Years

Barack Obama is purportedly the “leader of the free world,” but all his political manipulations in the last two years have borne an ultra-socialist flavor and made America a much less free country; threatened the role of the American dollar as the “world’s reserve currency”; and done everything possible to kill the free markets’ abilities to return us to our natural position as the world’s leading economy. Here’s how we change all that and return the country to its former excellence:

  1. Immediately cut all federal salaries 15% and keep them frozen at this level until the budget is balanced and all UNfunded liabilities are funded.
  2. Otherwise cut all federal spending by 10% and similarly freeze it at those levels until the budget is balanced and all UNfunded liabilities are funded.
  3. Amend the Constitution to include a balanced budget amendment except in times of invasion of our country budget must balance and no future liabilities may go UNfunded.
  4. Amend the Constitution so that Unfunded liabilities are unconstitutional.
  5. Amend the Constitution so that the Federal Government has no power to demand state spending on Federal Programs.
  6. Initiate a flat very low income tax beginning at $30,000 earnings per person with no deductions allowed to anyone.  Every dollar earned above $30,000 by an individual is taxed at 16% by the federal government. For married couples every dollar earned above $70,000 is taxed at $16%.
  7. The corporate income tax for America is now the highest in the world. Drop it for ten years to a flat 5% on all earnings above $150,000 and jobs and businesses will flood back into this country.
  8. Put the country back on a hard money standard: one ounce of silver = $100 or (but NOT and) gold = $5,000 per ounce.
  9. Eliminate Federal Reserve banking and all the inflationary power that goes with it.
  10. Make unemployment insurance a purely federal program; cut unemployment insurance duration to 13 weeks.
  11. Set up a commission to eliminate duplicate or unnecessary programs or unconstitutional programs; and to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse of federal programs and require this commission to report to congress and the president every year two weeks before the State of the Union report by the president.
Eliminate Obamacare and
a.     Allow all citizens and businesses and states to shop across state borders for health care insurance
b.   Provide tort reform to eliminate nuisance malpractice suits and cap tort awards at $1,200,000
c.    Put the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in charge of improving Americans’ health and lowering medical costs.
d.   Reduce Medicare and Medicaid coverage to levels existing in 2000. There will be zero state Medicare or Medicaid coverage . . . only federal coverage at these new levels will exist.
 e.    Re-establish HSA’s as programs which people can use to responsibly plan their own health care funding protection

**It's too big a job for any "instant fix," so not all will be repaired in ten years but the government will be 100% on the right track within three years
By the way, you may recall President Obama telling us that too much information was a bad, even dangerous, thing and recommending that we just read the Huffington Post to avoid confusion . . . .    Well, get this the owner of the HP website Arianna Huffington has declared that the  leftwing progressives “are responsible for all that’s good in America, 100%”. Does she mean the shrinking dollar? $112 TRillion in UNfunded liabilities just courtesy of Social Security; Medicare; and the federal side of Medicaid (not to mention that the new Obamacare legislation will, via the state side of Medicaid bankrupt every state but Utah and Texas by 2022; and all fifty by 2024)? Government and unionized government pensions bankrupting 43 of our states right now?

“(By her description of the left), every single breakthrough in American politics from the Emancipation Proclamation onward was a left-wing initiative and espoused by the left,” Huffington declared this week on her website.

Wikileaks Info Shows Obama Used CIA as “Watermelons”

With Hundreds of Millions of His 'Profits' at Stake

President Seeks Extortive Data

Against Countries Doubting Global Warming

Hillary Clinton is not the only high level American politician embarrassed by Wikileaks revelations.  According to documents released by Wikileaks, President Barack Obama employed covert CIA operatives to try to dig up scandalous data on countries opposed to the Copenhagen Climate Treaty which he’d so actively seek to sell to the world in December, 2009. Of course, one month prior to the Copenhagen meetings, the infamous release of tens of thousands of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) of East Anglia (England) University which came to be known as “Climategate,” destroyed all of Obama’s dreams of triumphing on the world stage by leading virtually the entire planet into signing a Copenhagen Treaty with far sharper teeth than the nothing paper that the 2009 meeting produced. Shocked by Climategate, Europeans were not enthusiastic about getting involved with more green nonsense (Spain had gone from the #1 European economy in 1997 with 4% unemployment to one of the worst economies in the world with 21% unemployment after their experiment with subsidizing green job creation). Obama, except for a rousing speech against capitalism but praising him by Venezuelan communist leader Hugo Chavez came home from Copenhagen empty-handed.

Just as the Wikileaks data shows Hillary Clinton seeking diplomats to dig up dirt and embarrassing info on foreign leaders and diplomats; Wikileaks now shows that Barack Obama ordered the CIA to find similar information about whole countries and their supposed despoiling of the environment or coolness about global warming at Copenhagen. According to what Senator James Inhofe, an Oklahoma Republican, told the Daily Caller website: Obama was “desperate to enforce its orthodoxy on global warming.”

Obama, Al Gore, George Soros, Hillary Clinton, Franklin Raines, Richard Sandor, Valerie Jarret, Joel Rogers, John Ayers, the Shores Bank of Chicago, several Goldman Sachs bigwigs, and about fifty other well-known progressives stood to make vast fortunes if the United States passed Cap and Trade legislation in concert with world leaders united by a strong accord from Copenhagen. Climategate blew their plans out of the water and then the failure to achieve any consensus on strong global response at Copenhagen shot their scheme to hell. The folks in question all were part of a Chicago area initiative called CCX (the Chicago Climate eXchange) which expected to own the lion’s share of American carbon trading under cap and trade which Sandor estimated at a $10 TRillion yearly industry. In good times the U.S. economy amounts to $15 TRillion. Thus CCX would literally sell the country “blue sky” with its fictitious-based global warming driving carbon trading and drive all prices roughly 67% higher and enjoy commissions on a good part of 40% of the economy for scamming the people with a system that would eventually bankrupt the nation. Thanks to Climategate and Copenhagen the CCX enterprise “dissolved just within the last three weeks. A lot of progressive money was lost in the last thirteen months.

Not surprisingly, the same liberal so-called mainstream media (MSM) in America which refused to run the Climategate story linked above thirteen months ago to date has failed to show the Wikileaks revelation of Obama’s scandal (the link at the top of the blog is to the ultra-liberal London Times’ website which reported the Climategate story accurately but did NOT show this information:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/medieval-warm-period-rediscovered.html

about the biggest fraud in Climategate the deliberate omission of the Medieval Warm Period from CRU calculations). The Wikileaks revelation on Obama ran in England’s The Guardian newspaper which reported that State Department administration officials, acting at the request of the CIA, sent a secret cable asking U.S. diplomats to gather intelligence on other countries’ preparations for the then-pending Copenhagen climate conference. The request also asked diplomats to be on the lookout for indications that countries were not fostering environmental cooperation and for evidence of countries circumventing U.N.-sponsored environmental treaties. In effect, Obama and the diplomats and the CIA were acting as “watermelons.”

A ‘watermelon’ (since the Climategate revelations) is what Europeans call an extreme environmentalist leader. Just as an “Oreo” in the United States is a Black that other Blacks say “is black on the outside but white on the inside” . . . a watermelon is somebody “green on the outside but pink to deep red on the inside.” That is, pretending to be concerned about the environment in order to push an ultra-socialist or Marxist agenda because cap and trade legislation would require an almost totalitarian state to administer. Climategate which was heavily covered in Europe but ignored in America undermined Obama’s Copenhagen hopes and apparently made him desperate. Given all the important data that’s resulted from Wikileaks, Rajjpuut is shocked to find himself saying that Julian Assange has proven himself to be a hero for freedom lovers everywhere . . . this Obama scandal and the similar blackmail-seeking actions of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both revealed by Assange’s Wikileaks, show us an administration that will stop at nothing to advance its progressive/socialist agenda. To them clearly, their foul ends justify whatever super-foul means the opt to employ. Barack Obama is a watermelon. To push his collectivist agenda, he pretends to be environmentally-conscious, but he’s really only interested in the power that accrues to a government that has the power and scope to carry out such a grave assault on freedom as cap and trade would prove to be.

When the cap and trade bill stalled in the U.S. Senate after squeaking through the House of Representatives in the late spring of 2009, and then failed to advance out of the Senate for several months, Obama tried to circumvent the lawmakers and have the Environmental Protection Agency create law by regulatory edict. Shortly afterward the EPA published a regulatory change saying that henceforth Carbon Dioxide would be regarded by their agency as a toxic emission and levels would be controlled by the EPA. Fortunately, the EPA was violating its own charter. Florida and Virginia immediately sued and the short-lived regulation was rescinded because the EPA is not allowed to take anyone else’s studies (such as those of the East Anglia University CRU involved in Climategate) but must do its own research and congress must be allowed to monitor that research. CCX and Obama’s dreams of making a fortune scamming the American people while unveiling a virtual totalitarian state upon us all went up in smoke at the same moment.

According to Daily Caller website, in a leaked Feb. 17, 2010 cable, Michael Froman, Obama’s deputy national security adviser for international affairs, held a meeting with the European Union’s climate commissioner-designate, Conne Hedegaard, seeking to work around “unhelpful countries such as Venezuela or Bolivia” and get the Copenhagen treaty into force. Froman in the cable said the U.S. and E.U. “need to neutralize, co-opt or marginalize, co-opt or marginalize these and others such as Nicaragua, Cuba and Ecuador.” He also advocated using divide-and- conquer tactics to confront several of the more strident opponents to cap and trade and global warming orthodoxy and other Copenhagen treaty opponents, saying the U.S. and E.U. needed “to better handle third country obstructionism and avoid future train wrecks on climate …”

The Obama administration later cutoff aid to Ecuador and Bolivia last April that would have helped them reach the Copenhagen treaty’s carbon emission targets, citing their opposition to the agreement.

“I think this goes to show that to the left-wing of the Democratic Party, national security means anything you want it to,” former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton said. “I think it is certainly a misallocation of priorities to be using intelligence capabilities on something like climate change.” Rajjpuut would say it shows the progressive Democratic leaders are morally bankrupt.
