Obama-watchers here in the United States tell anyone who’ll listen that to understand our future, one has but to look at the shenanigans in Greece. Recently world stock markets include the ones here in the good ol’ U.S.A. tanked in response to the European Union/International Monetary Fund $150 Billion bailout of Greece. The three major fears concerning financial analysts are that either 1. the loan will NOT prove enough to cover Greece’s needs either for borrowing or the upward spiraling of debt or 2. the German parliament will not approve the bailout (voting is Friday May 6, in Germany) or 3. a combination of both scenarios. Just two and a half years ago Greece had a debt to gross domestic product ratio of roughly 55%, comparable to what the U.S. faced when President Obama took office (50%), but today Greece’s D/GDP ratio is at 102% and not only is the country facing financial ruin but there is literally “blood in the streets” as the all-powerful Greek labor unions are rioting in opposition to the belt-tightening being negotiated by the Greek government in order to receive the EU loans.

While Rajjpuut is NOT a fan of big and politically powerful labor unions, in the union’s favor it must be stated that the government of Greece has been guilty of outright lying and manipulating debt with “funny” statistics for about a decade now and the news that came out when the truth finally was released was more than shocking, it was abysmal. Oh, and for you Obama-watchers here, the D/GDP ratio in the United States has now risen to 76%.

To put things in perspective, and thus realize just how badly off the economies of Greece (also Spain, Italy, Ireland and Portugal) and the United States are, consider that the next worst of the European countries (England) had a ratio of only 11% w hen the following memorable speech linked immediately below was made to the EU by Daniel Hannan criticizing the actions of Prime Minister Gordon Brown a year ago. England’s ratio now is roughly 14% . . . .

Many believe that Greece’s “contagion” will spread quickly to the other “PIGIES” (the next five weakest countries in Europe mentioned earlier, Greece is the "G") with one-time European financial bulwark Spain possibly the next to go. Spain about seven years ago had the strongest fiscal situation of any European power. Then they decided upon a critical experiment (one that Obama wants to work over here) and aimed to become the world’s #1 power in green technology. Spain’s 3% unemployment has spiraled all out of control and is now at 20%, second only to Greece’s problems. In the Spanish experience every green-tech job created cost $677,000 in government subsidies and killed 2.2 jobs in the real market place because of government spending and taxation. Most Spanish green jobs lasted from six weeks to nine months and only 1/10 of them proved permanent. In the United States that would translate to Obama’s promised “five million new green jobs” costing the loss of eleven more real economy jobs to subsidize them; and then with only 500,000 of those jobs proving permanent and a 22/1 ratio of lost real jobs to permanent green tech jobs. Additionally the typical green job pays $10-$14 per hour which is a huge letdown to most Americans’ way of thinking about new technologies.

The violence created in the streets by the Greek labor unions cost three bank employees their lives two days ago. The unions say they’ll refuse to make any financial concessions. Their intransigence might worsen the Greek debt situation or repel the other EU countries completely. As for Germany’s hesitation, the Germans suffered one of the two greatest inflations in European history (during the Weimar Republic after WWI, which eventually spawned Adolph Hitler and the Nazis) and the country is loathe to get involved with the fiscally irresponsible Greek government at risk of inflation to their own country. However, German Prime Minister Merkel has made it plain in her speeches that the “survival of the European Union is at stake.” Once again the European experience may prove to be a harbinger of things to come for the USA, because Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke has inflated our money by 1500% so that now there is 1600% more money in circulation in the country and today’s 2010 dollar is now potentially worth only about 6.3 cents compared to the 2008 buck. Of course in this country we're talking about fifty individual states in financial disarry not twenty-four separate countries.

Worse news for Greece, the violence and fiscal unrest don’t look like they’ll be ending anytime soon. If that ugly scenario keeps repeating the EU may not loan the money and Germany's refusal also could be in the cards. And the possibility of a worldwide depression is always on investors’ minds. Additionally, with the latest round of worries that the Greek debt contagion will spread to Spain and elsewhere in Europe. The looming specter of massive debt default and deflation is heavy in the air for investors worldwide and fear dominates the markets. All this and unending days of national strike are NOT painting an encouraging scene.

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery.

At a recent press conference answering a question about the Gulf oil spill, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs (who said calmly eighteen days ago, “I doubt this is the first such accident and it won’t be the last”) said ex-FEMA official Michael Brown and Fox News on the Neil Cavuto show had accused the Obama administration of deliberately setting the explosion. Of course, both of Gibb’s statements in their entirety and all of the Cavuto interview with Brown are posted on Fox News and no such encounter happened in the entire 5-6 minute interview. Brown, did however, talk about FEMA’s quick response to Katrina and the Coast Guard’s quick response to the BP explosion and commented that both Bush and Obama were a bit slow to move after sterling local action . . . the truth of all that can be seen if you go to FoxNews.com and look over the tape clips. Brown did say, that Obama would definitely use this as an excuse to stop drilling for oil. Gibbs also has talked about “keeping a boot on BP’s throat” just as they want to do to every business in the country. On the other side of the issue in several earlier investigations it appears that sex and drugs and huge campaign donations mark interactions between government and oil companies from time immemorial.

Not only is Chrysler going to be back for another bailout soon . . . but Freddy Mac just today intimated they’ll need more bailout money . . . changing the tune . . . .

Item #3 notice the link above is "green"

The Los Angeles Times and Fox News were the only ones reporting Al Gore’s purchase of a $9 million mansion near Montecito, California linked above with some awesome pictures. Not his main residence, of course, right next to the rising oceans, but just one of his fleet of mansions. You remember when Al Gore was questioned point-blank by Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn, “Do you stand to profit in any way from the bill you’re supporting here?” With a straight-face Honest Al said,Every penny that I have made, I have put right into a non-profit deal, Alliance For Climate Protection, to spread awareness of why we have to take on this challenge. And Congresswoman, if your, if, if you believe that the reason I have been working on this issue for 30 years is because of greed, you do not know me.” With a gross net worth of roughly $1 million in 2000 and a fleet of environmentally UNfriendly homes, Al, must be getting big money from somewhere.

Item #4:

Rajjpuut, however, DOES KNOW Honest Al . . . and does know about Al’s and Barack’s little scam called CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange) . . . and does know that the Cap and Trade bill that Gore was supporting would cost ordinary Americans a minimum of $220 Billion every year. More importantly, Al, Barack, Joel Rogers, the illustrious Mr. Sandor, several Goldman Sachs folks, John Ayers, the firm Goldman Sachs in its entirety and Gore’s own London based firm as well as several progressive foundations stand to profit greatly from the “Ten TRillion*** industry” created by cap and trade legislation.

The word “industry” is ill-advised, of course, since the “product” being sold is sheer blue sky . . . that is, literally NOthing is being sold as something and the jovial Joel Rogers is on video-tape saying that the environment would NOT be helped by cap and trade, not a bit. The same Mr. J. Rogers also said on video-tape that IF, by magic they were able to bring the entire U.S. economy to a halt, all power companies, all industry and all transportation -- zero production of pollutants, it would not help clear up the world’s situation very much . . . but that the real purpose of Cap and Trade was wealth redistribution. By the way, Mr. Obama has said several times and been recorded, “. . . under my Cap and Trade system, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket.”

Meanwhile, Joel Rogers, the mastermind, as well as General Electric (owner of the main news media sycophant, NBC, for all wondrous things Barack and green and social justice-correct) and Cisco would be among the huge winners along with the major union players AFLCIO and SEIU and surprisingly Fanny Mae (long story that). Cisco and GE have been pushing Obama’s green-agenda more than anyone else ever since getting in bed with the great man through monstrous campaign donations.

Item #5:

Within twelve days of the November 17, 2009 revelation of scientific hanky-panky, fraud and malpractice at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at England’s East Anglia University known all over Europe as "Climate-Gate,"even the ultra-liberal London Times raked the climate-alarmists, global-warming extremists and the well-known scientists enabling their lies over the hottest of coals. Of course, five months later, Americans in general are still not broadly aware that they are and have been the subject of a well-manipulated hoax for over fourteen years . . . and who is to blame for all this American ignorance? 'T'is the progressive media which seldom chooses to print stories contrary to the progressive and extremist environmental agenda.

Item #6:

Real patriotism is clearly ostracized by that same media. Any comment against the TEA Party and conservative Americans is broadcast as a matter of course and never or perhaps virtually never is any actual supporting footage or evidence offered. Case in point, NYC Mayor Bloomberg shortly after the discovery of the car-bomb in Times Square said, “it could have been some right-wing extremists who don’t like the new Healthcare law.” Of course, he never apologized and the media never confronted him with updating of his stupid comments when the Pakistani connection was made.

Item #7:

“Feel-better politics” is the game of the day in the wake of the Times Square car bomb incident. We are being repeatedly and frequently told “we thwarted this attack . . .” when talking about the event. NONSENSE! Nothing was “thwarted,” the incompetence of the bomber saved us. The bomb’s “fuse or igniter” went off and failed to ignite and explode the car bomb. At that point, short of some drive-by gangs and random bullets sent into the whole mess, the bomb could NOT have gone off. The fact is simply this: “we got lucky, again.” We got lucky with the underwear bomber also. We did NOT get lucky with the Arkansas Recruiting Office killer; we did NOT get lucky with the Ft. Hood massacre and all four of those incidents should have clearly and obviously been on the radar and weren’t. “We got lucky” is not what Americans need to hear.

Item #8:

Apparently, U. S. government inspectors failed to notice that an “automatic burn system” required by law since 1994 to handle oil spills was not in place at the British Petroleum operation where the three recent horrific leaks took place. The idea was to burn off immediately any oil spills. Eight fire booms were required to be on-site ready to go. Responsible for those firebooms: the U.S. government, your U.S. government. For its part, British Petroleum also received safety exemptions from both the Bush and the Obama administration for faulty issues. Last one April 6, 2009. Get this, eight days after Press Secretary Gibbs characterized the explosion as a ho-hum matter, the U.S. government was searching around the globe for fire booms, even just one, please anyone!

Item #9:

The Greek unions are revolting angrily about that country’s financial debacle. The unions in Greece are all-powerful and shook down the system for benefits and boondoggles that would make even America’s United Auto Workers blush. Unfortunately, the International Monetary Fund and World Bank which are likely to bail out Greece are both significantly funded by, you guessed it, American tax dollars.

Item #10:

A Gay softball league has denied its championship trophy to a winning team because they were “not gay enough.” Apparently, two "straight" players were allowed on any team and the champs had its maximum two straights but also at least one acknowledged bi-sexual also. Supposedly a 25-member gay committee determined that the bi-sexual was NOT gay enough. Makes the old head spin, it does . . . .

Item #11:

As most thinking people know, capitalism has been proven over the centuries to be the most efficient system for improving the lives of any nation’s citizens. Capitalism is based upon a “meritocracy” which aims to raise the broad level of economic benefit across a society . . . enhanced opportunity for all, equal opportunity for all. Socialism is, however, based upon a sort of “misery loves company” EQUALITY by down-leveling those with money to the level of those without it. This inefficient method dramatically destroys the power of free markets to enhance overall economic conditions. Several tapes of progressive politicians acknowledging on video-tape that Obamacare wasn’t ever about health but only about government control for wealth redistribution were recently shown on the Glen Beck show.

Our NYC would-be car bomber was on a no-fly list; paid for his ticket with cash; had NO luggage; and looks somewhat Arabic. He still got on the plane and the plane got on the runway, before the FBI pulled him off . . . isn't that comforting?

*** Yes, that’s a taped remark by the “guilty” parties. And YES, Mr. Gore and Mr. Obama will profit greatly if Cap and Trade becomes law . . . and their $10 TRillion "industry" is created overnight from out of blue sky. Rajjpuut senses extreme conflict of interest from this corrupt twosome.

What's a Poor TEA Party to do?

The mainstream media when discussing the TEA Party mostly performs a continuous non-stop conversation using the Obama propaganda-nonsense re-using their progressive-labels, terms like “racists, hate-mongers, astro-turf, stupid, extremists, and violent.” You can hardly hear the term “TEA Party” on the air without one of those nasty six propaganda adjectives attached somewhere in the "news" coverage. Only very rarely does the lamestream media try to talk sense or semi-sense about the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party phenomenon. When they do, they mostly seek comparison with Ross Perot’s bumbling political attempts in 1992 and 1996 or call it “a third-party movement,” or even compare them to Ralph Nader. They could be right, but hopefully NOT. Rajjpuut believes Perot failed miserably and accomplished just exactly the opposite of what he hoped to do. By splitting conservative voters, he ensured dramatically easy victories for the progressives and nothing more . . . a very sad legacy.

The TEA Party has a huge opportunity awaiting and at this stage (things might be dramatically different in 2012, 2014 and 2016) the worst thing that group can try to do right now is to raise a bunch of money, field a slate of candidates and seek to elect them as a political party. That would playing the Ross Perot card and playing it very, very weakly. The fact is, Americans are fed up completely with politics and politicians and political parties. Fiscal-conservatives and Constitutional-conservatives (the largest voter-bloc in the country) are especially fed up with politics, more fed up with politics than any other group in America. Politics-as-usual like Ross Perot tried, is precisely the easiest way to waste this moment in history. This moment in history, if handled rightly can be considered: the TEA Party moment! Never has America needed a more intelligent grass-roots movement than it does right now. So what can be done? What should be done?

To succeed at anything it helps to know who you are, exactly who you are and who you are NOT. The TEA Party movement, at its heart, gives conservative people an outlet, more importantly, it gives them hope that their voices can be heard. Right now that is a very huge role to play; and it is right now the best that they or you and I can expect; and most importantly IF they truly play that role properly, the TEA Party can make a huge difference in America and can accomplish many of the things that conservative people in their hearts most pray for.

To succeed at anything, it also is very important to know just exactly what you’re up against and who are your friends and who are your enemies. That the present progressive-dominated Democratic Party is the enemy of the TEA Party seems fairly obvious. Many folks believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Many folks believe the Republican Party is the TEA Party’s friend. Let’s think a little on that. The Republican Party as it was created in 1854 in Ripon, Wisconsin would be precisely the TEA Party’s very best friend. Today the Republican Party of 1854, 1856, 1858 and 1860 would be called “Libertarians,” which means fiscal-conservatives, constitutional conservatives and live-and-let-live liberals so long as you don’t “tread on me.” That was a party that stood for something. That was the Republican Party that freed the slaves. That was the Republican Party that eventually replaced the once proud Whig Party which by 1852 had become an effete party trying to please everyone at once that commanded about 26% of the national vote. Those Whigs were, however, someone we need to understand right now.

The American Whig Party itself arose when the original Republican Party lost its vigor and vision and somebody was needed to oppose the takeover by the executive branch and denigration of the Congress by Andrew Jackson (they called him “King Andrew," the Whigs did) and the Democratic Party. According to Wikipedia: "Whig" was then a widely recognized label of choice for people who saw themselves as opposing autocratic rule. The Whig Party counted among its members such national political luminaries as Daniel Webster, William Henry Harrison, and their pre-eminent leader, Henry Clay of Kentucky. In addition to Harrison, the Whig Party also counted several prominent war heroes and national figures among its ranks, including Generals Zachary Taylor and Winfield Scott and former Lt. Colonel, western explorer and demi-whig California Senator John C. Fremont (the Republicans’ first presidential candidate). Abraham Lincoln was a Whig leader in then frontier Illinois. Except for a few spotty victories here and there, the Republicans who eventually replaced the Whigs were not at all successful until six years later and helped ensure virtually complete control of the country by the Democrats in 1854, 1856 and 1858 which proved to be some of the most volatile and violent years ever and led directly to the Civil War.

So the question remains, is the Republican Party the friend of the TEA Party? And the answer is . . . mostly NOT. Or most properly, NO, NOT yet! If the Republican Party had stuck to its core-philosophies of fiscal-conservativism and constitutional-conservativism over the last twenty years (twelve years under Republican presidents Bush I and Bush II) the nation would NOT now be in the shape it’s in. In fact, by possibly hijacking TEA Party votes en masse without later adhering to TEA Party desires for real meaningful conservativism in 2010 and future years . . . the Republican Party could prove to be as huge an enemy as the progressive Democrats. Right now, as I write this, there are probably eighty to a hundred rather cynical Republican politicos out there, looking at the TEA Party as a “nifty little parade” and planning exactly how they can jump in at the front and lead it.

All that being true, Rajjpuut believes it’s fair to say that the Republican Party has lost legitimacy among fiscal- and constitutional-conservatives. Once burned, twice cautious. The TEA Party would do best to stay independent of the Republican Party and yet NOT stand in direct opposition to it, the Republicans are, after all, the only ones opposing the Obamanations now going in Congress. That Republican opposition has been crucial and the Republicans share many conservative values at least nominally . . . .

http://www.contractfromamerica.com/Idea.aspx

It would be a hopelessly stupid mistake to run candidates against Republicans in 2010, because it would ensure progressive Democratic victory and more Obamanations. The TEA Party needs to show it’s hand clearly as opposed to the progressive elements of the Democratic Party which dominated the senate debate and most of the house debate. And the TEA Party needs to show itself as opposed to at least 90% of the Obama administration’s “transformations.” So far great things have been achieved by simply holding candidates’ feet to the conservative fire. Is that a perpetually winning formula? What’s to be done? What is the wisest course for the TEA Party? What’s best for America?

The secret for the TEA Party lies in knowing who they are. The TEA Party is a leveraged group of disenchanted conservatives (about 52% call themselves Republicans; 29% say they’re Independents and 19% call themselves Democrats) who are discovering their political voices. The two key words are the term “leveraged” and the term “disenchanted.” Let’s talk plain English here: leveraged means “potentially powerful.” Disenchanted means “fed up completely.” The TEA Party then is a potentially powerful group completely fed up with the political scene in Washington, D.C. and most of their state capitols.

Rajjpuut repeats . . . the TEA Party then is a potentially powerful group completely fed up with the political scene in Washington, D.C. and most of their state capitols. That is the truth and the truth can set you free. So what is the political reality right now?

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/partisan_trends

Democrats according to a recent Rasmussen survey constitute 36.0% of the voting populace and Republicans 31.6%. That leaves 33.4% of potential voters unaffiliated with either party. There are more unaffiliated voters than Republicans and almost as many as the number of Democrats. Many of those unaffiliated voters are sympathetic to what the TEA Party movement stands for; many of them call themselves Independents . . . and as we’ve seen the make-up of the TEA Party is roughly 50% conservative Republicans, 30% conservative Independents and 20% conservative Democrats and virtually all of them are completely fed up and before the TEA Party came along, they were feeling pretty damn powerLESS. But it’s easy to see that if the TEA Party holds the politicians of both parties’ feet to the fire . . . they and “unaffiliated” groups actually control the political process because neither major party holds anywhere near a majority of the voting public's allegiance. It’s just a matter of proper leadership and wisely plotting the course of the groups’ activism and quite frankly, it doesn’t appear to Rajjpuut to be a necessarily expensive process. More on this later . . . .

For the most part, the TEA Party sympathizers belong to a group of people that Rasmussen calls “mainstream America.” The group of people that are largely responsible for frustrating mainstream America Rasmussen identifies as “the Political Class” How does Rasmussen delineate the two groups? Glad you asked . . . .

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/january_2010/65_now_hold_populist_or_mainstream_views

Rasmussen said in his January 31st survey that 65% of potential voters hold Mainstream views while only 4% hold Political Class views. When “leaners” are factored in 76% of Americans hold Mainstream views and only 12% hold Political Class views. Specifically, polling showed 76% of voters generally trust the American people more than political leaders on important national issues. Seventy-one percent (71%) view the federal government as a special interest group looking out mainly for itself, and 70% believe that the government and big business typically work together in ways that hurt consumers and investors. On each question, a majority of Republicans, and Democrats and unaffiliated voters shared those views. Rasmussen’s results would agree with Rajjpuut’s thinking that the Political Class believes that the politicians know what’s best for America and they are the experts and should be left alone to run the country.

Politicians and folks with government jobs, especially those cushy government jobs tend to belong the Political Class. In Rajjpuut’s memory the highest that Mainstream has ever surveyed is right now and the lowest that the Political Class has evered surveyed is right now. The lowest Mainstream numbers he ever remembers were around 49% and the highest political class numbers were roughly 26% or 27%. The lesson to be learned from this? There’s a lot of disenchantment out there and that disenchantment, if properly channeled is a potentially powerful force . . . a force for positive change.Let’s look specifically at why Mainstream voters are so fed up. Recent top gripes include these taken from the mouth of a mythical typical voter:

1. Politicians throwing money around in hopes of curing problems they created by spending money unwisely in the first place. Since unfunded obligations now have reached $108 TRillion, I’m highly upset.

2. Big company CEOs flying private jets and collecting big salaries while receiving billions of dollars of our bailout money.

3. Government telling us we must give up our freedoms and privacy if we ever want to be secure.

4. Politicians trying to control every aspect of our lives for their own benefit has got me boiling mad.

5. Politicians spending our children’s and grandchildren’s money to fund “set aside” programs that they refused to set aside funds for.

6. The mainstream media aligning itself with the political class virtually 100% of the time.

7. Angry citizens with legitimate gripes being labelled racists, extremists and dangerous violent by the Obama administration and the mainstream media.

8. Everything about the Federal Reserve Banking system and how it helped bring us to this fiscal sinkhole we’re in is totally aggravating to me. Now I understand my dollar is likely to be worth seven cents in about five years.

9. Government refusing to protect our borders.

10. Stimulus money spent without our approval.

11. Stimulus money not creating jobs but just being looted.

12. GM using a bailout slush fund of our money to “pay off its debt five years in advance when it only had one profitable quarter.

13. Chrysler now needing another bailout, their third, since I know good friends who’ve lost homes, cars and hope, I find this infuriating.

14. Some being called “too big to fail” being rewarded for their failure while the ordinary citizen who through no fault of his own has to fear losing his job is just taxed more to cover the bailouts.

15. Politicians, especially the Obama administration abusing the Constitution or using it like toilet paper.

16. Greater taxes and greater spending instead of really stimulating the economy by reducing government spending and slashing of taxes.

17. Government abusing the word “reform” when they only mean “greater government control.” REFORM means “making things better” and that’s not happening with the clowns now in office making our decisions. It’s enough to make you want to vote every one of the bums out of office.

18. Major legislation being passed by the slimmest possible vote margins instead of with 90% approval and both parties involved in crafting wise laws.

19. Having the largest (Baaken Fields) oil reserve in the world within our borders and paying an arm and a leg at the gas pump.

20. Knowing that in Europe (where their media even the ultra-liberal London Times keeps them informed) public opinion has now roundly rejected the notion of “global warming” in the face of the Climate-Gate revelations of scientific mal-practice and corruption of statiscal evidence and yet being faced with cap and trade legislation that will cost a minimum of $220 billion per year. Our media hasn't even run stories on Climate-Gate.

21. Seeing irrigation stopped in California and vegetable prices rise so that the EPA can protect a three-inch long fish. Let the EPA figure a cheap way to keep the fish safe and let farmers irrigate. 40% unemployment in parts of Fresno County is ridiculous! Have politicians NO common sense? I find it mind-boggling.

22. Seeing our tax money go to increase the size and complexity and interference-capability of the federal government when it should be going to increasing the number of jobs the private sector can create.

23. Hearing that a VAT (valued added tax) is about 85% likely after November’s elections on top of increased taxes for 2011 created by letting the Bush tax breaks expire and on top of horrendous income taxes.

24. Seeing that our president is 100% convinced he and only he knows best for us, and whatever thoughts we have about what an American government ought to look like and how it ought to be functioning are totally ignored.

25. Seeing that every day America, and everything good and strong and great about it, is being threatened by “transformation” that is becoming more and more of a nightmare. A big part of that nightmare is that our teachers are seemingly teaching that America is evil and needs to be drastically changed. Since those drastic changes include teaching first graders about homosexuality, trans-gender operations, and cross-dressing . . . I’m highly upset.

26. Seeing that the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX with Gore and Obama and Goldman Sachs as prominent players) stands to make, by their own admission, "Ten TRillion dollars selling and producing nothing, but just for handling cap and trade dealings in this country when I know that global-warming is NOT true and cap and trade is not needed just infuriates me. That's a severe conflict of interest for both men and yet the mainstream media won't publicize it.

The list above includes many of the problems that conservative, good and patriotic people are trying to cure when they become politically active by joining or sympathizing with the TEA Party. What can they do but gripe? Does anyone listen?

Politicians really DO tend to listen, especially when it’s nearing election day. Let’s look at the legacy of the TEA Party influence so far. Four elections*** with three resounding victories and one almost-miracle so far. In other words, the TEA Party activism is bringing about change and it’s not even involving huge expense. So why would, should the TEA Party people change a winning formula? They shouldn't. They're doing more to help the country with minimal expense and without becoming a vote-seeking political party then either of the two major parties combined-- don't change a winner!

The TEA Party also has a tremendous new tool at its disposal and to Rajjpuut’s knowledge it has NOT used it so far, more's the pity:

http://www.contractfromamerica.com/Idea.aspx

The TEA Party created this wonderful instrument the “Contract from America” and it’s not using it at all: huge mistake!

The ten items (voted on by sympathizers from the original twenty-one TEA Party concerns) in the Contract from America are perhaps the wisest set of values identified by any political group since the Magna Carta. In brief form, here they are:

And the top ten are…

1.Protect the Constitution

2. Reject Cap & Trade

3. Demand a Balanced Budget

4. Enact Fundamental Tax Reform

5. Restore Fiscal Responsibility & Constitutionally Limited Government in Washington

6. End Runaway Government Spending

7. Defund, Repeal, & Replace Government-run Health Care

8. Pass an ‘All-of-the-Above” Energy Policy

9. Stop the Pork

10. Stop the Tax Hikes

The TEA Party created this wonderful instrument and it’s really done nothing with it. The whole nation needs to educated as to what the TEA Party stands for, and not this brief listing above but rather a full and complete picture. For example, 71% of supporters regarded the #1 item on the list “Protect the Constitution” as important enough to be in their top ten from among the twenty-one items voted upon . . . but “Protect the Constitution is too vague. Their original document which Rajjpuut was NOT able to find, (How smart is that, TEA Party?) required every bill proposed in congress to reference the Constitution of the United States and to cite the provisions of the Constitution that allowed the bill to be considered.

So what’s a poor TEA Party to do?

A. Continue with the winning formula of educating and attracting more members compatible with the three main concerns: constitutionally-based government that’s fiscally-conservative, open^^^, transparent and accountable; and that represents the minimum government necessary to work for the people.

B. Practice high standards and non-violence at all times no matter what.

C. Continue holding the feet of all politicians of every political party and the independents too, very close to the fire. Evaluate all of 'em against the ten planks of the "Contract from America."That is the winning formula. Look for those who espouse and practice conservative minimalist government; and, if they don’t keep their word, kick them out next time and elect someone who respects the Contract from America who will keep their word.

D. EDUCATE! EDUCATE! EDUCATE! EDUCATE! EDUCATE! Imagine how much better America would be today if over the last twenty years Americans were educated and truly aware of what was going on in Washington. Imagine how much better Americans will be in 2020, IF 67% of Americans this year learn the ten TEA Party tenets in the Contract from America and 55% of Americans decide that those ten tenets are important.

E. Love America, read about America and study what America is really about and pass that on to your children and grandchildren.

F. By the way, by at least 2016, we should consider making congress a part-time entity, say 160 days every other year. We don’t need politicians and lawmakers, we need to elect statesmen and stateswomen who tinker with the people and the capitalist system the least and spend no more than necessary. Human nature being what it is, lawmakers tend to make laws whether they're needed or desirable or wanted or not, limit the possible mischief by limiting the time available for making laws.

*** That is, two big wins in New Jersey and Virginia; and a really huge win in Massachusetts and helping an unfunded conservative oust the ultra-progressive Republican funded with $1 million of Republican money from an upstate New York race and almost defeat the semi-conservative Democratic candidate in the election.

^^^ Open means that perhaps 85% of what the congress does is NOT done behind close doors and both parties and the media are invited.

^^^ Transparent means that bills are clear, simple, short and easily understood and placed online for all voters to read-over 96-120 hours before the first procedural voting begins. Amendments (earmarks) not having anything to do with the fundamental purpose of the bill need to reference the constitution or better yet, be cut altogether from all the bill.

^^^ Accountable means that congressmen and the president honor our established processes; and the constitution; and the will of the voters and are willing to discuss these and the entirety of the bills they're voting on with the media and the people and to ensure that they do NOT personally profit in any way from the bill they're supporting.

April, 2010 Platinum Fleecer Award

To honor the memory of the Last Great American Statesman, William Proxmire (Wisconsin Senator for 32 years) whose “Golden Fleece Awards” uncovered shameless pork barrel projects and focused media attention on all manner of self-serving, waste, and corruption in the United States government: Rajjpuut has since June, 2009, been awarding the “Platinum Fleecer” to the elected or appointed official or private citizen most deserving of the illustrious title.

The April 2010 Platinum Fleecer WINNER is:

California Representative Henry Waxman

Waxman hasn’t been as visible as he might have been, but whenever socialistic boondoggles are being contemplated, Waxman has been one of the main “enablers” for House Speaker Pelosi. Waxman, who has been feeding at the public trough in Washington D.C. for over thirty-five years, has since 2006, been Chairman of the House Oversight and Government "Reform" Committee which is supposed to be the principle agency looking out for the citizens’ well-being vis a vis government abuses . . . our single most helpful friend in D.C. Under Waxman’s “leadership,” however, the Reform Committee is just another boot on the public’s neck.

A few weeks ago, all the liberal media made a huge deal out of Henry Waxman saying he would force the CEOs of several large corporations to “come clean” about their recent financial reports (required by law) about how that fiscal disaster known as Obamacare would rape their companies’ solvency. Waxman, the media let us know, planned to punish the corporate leaders for their “irresponsible, politically-motivated statements saying that Obamacare was putting their businesses in financial jeopardy by dragging these CEOs into a hearing “where the truth will come out.” The CEO’s, of course, let it be known that their “revelations” were required by law. Yesterday, Waxman, weaseled out of the confrontation by cancelling the hearings which would have been, by his own design, extremely high profile. The CEOs are disappointed and the liberal leaning mainstream media is either choosing NOT to run the story of Waxman's cancellation, or burying it in a tiny paragraph on page 23.

Waxman is a weasel. He paraded before the photographers and TV cameramen implying he was going to expose these CEOs for their conspiracy to play politics on the American people by making it seem like his beloved Obamacare would set many of them on the road to bankruptcy . . . he would compel them to testify before the American people and bring the fat cats down in shame and defend Obamacare. Waxman, of course, never mentioned that these CEOs were required by laws created by the U.S. Congress to reveal this information on legal forms created by the congressional laws and that this information was uniformly bleak: Obamacare would devastate their companies. Now, not with such a grandiloquent bang, but rather a whisper, he announces the hearings will not take place. His motive, not to be embarrassed in public when his hearings could have been publicized to all Americans . . . and reveal the truth . . . which is exactly opposite to thestated purpose of the Committee that Waxman chairs, a committee designed about the new Obamacare law and to expose the fraud, waste, incompetence and self-serving nature of government programs.

The mainstream media, naturally, did NOT deem the follow-up story worthy of their time or newsprint (you know them, the same group that never fails to run unfounded allegations by Democrats of the TEA Party’s racism, hate-mongering and stupidity). If Waxman was a huge enabler of Obamacare, the mainstream media is a huge enabler of the Henry Waxmans running this country.

Throwing dirt onto corporate America and others who create the jobs and opportunity responsible for greatness is a common Waxman ploy. Apparently the fellow has never seen honest work he doesn’t despise. This compulsory hearing (lots of talk about subpoenas being served in the original story) was to be just another of Waxman’s crusades against evil capitalists . . . but it bit him in the butt and the weasel didn’t have the grace to announce that he was wrong, the CEOs were right and Obamacare would bankrupt the nation as well as its companies – that would have been way too forthright for our public servant Henry Waxman.

Congratulations, April, 2010 Platinum-Fleecer Award winner, California Democratic Representative Henry Waxman , you've certainly weaseled your way into this award!

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

April, 2010 Truman-Reagan-Kennedy Statesmanship Award

In honor of the memories of Harry S Truman (just a letter no middle name), Ronald Wilson Reagan and John Fitzgerald Kennedy, three of the most diligent and competent statesmen in world history, Rajjpuut will be awarding a monthly Truman-Reagan-Kennedy Award for statesmanship. Whole encyclopedias could be written about these three men.

Truman, a hero in World War I made the courageous decision to drop the atom bomb ending World War II and saving an estimated one million American fighting men from death or wounding. He also inspired the Dixiecrats to leave the Democratic Party at great political risk to himself, Truman who was raised a segregationist, integrated the armed forces. And unlike his successor Eisenhower, Truman was an immediate and powerful vocal opponent of Joe McCarthy and his communist witch hunts.

Reagan personally intervened to get the final funding and stinger missiles that spelled the defeat of the Big Red Soviet Military Machine in Afghanistan. His confrontational style (“Tear Down This Wall, Mr. Gorbachev!”) but willingness to talk face-to-face helped bring about the fall of communism and the Warsaw Pact, the end of the Soviet Union and Cold War and yes, the smashing of the Berlin Wall: not a bad legacy for “the Great Communicator!”

Kennedy inspired warm hope among jaded American voters. He, like Reagan, made a courageous speech in the shadow of the Berlin Wall. Most importantly, Kennedy stood tough upon discovering that the Soviet Union had moved missiles to Cuba just 90 miles off America’s shores and put the whole world on a nuclear disaster watch by blockading the island and demanding removal of the missiles. Like his book “Profiles in Courage,” Kennedy, a World War II hero, practiced what he preached.

The April, 2010, Truman-Reagan-Kennedy Statesmanship Award WINNER is:

Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn

For the second consecutive month Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn has earned the coveted statesmanship award after sharing the award last time out with James Inhofe. Blackburn has repeatedly demonstrated that she not only has perhaps the most level head in the House of Representatives, but she also has the guts to use it and the faith in our Constitution to ennoble America and her fellow countrymen at every turn in the discussion. Sheis probably the most consistent and one of the most eloquent voices in opposition to the widespread Big Guv expansions engineered by the Obama Administration.

Within a year of her election to congress, Marsha had already been named a “Taxpayer Hero” by the Americans for Tax Reform and is serving her second session as Deputy Whip and is most famous for being the questioner who put Al Gore on the spot about his conflicted connections in the energy industry with the simple, “"The legislation that we are discussing here today, is that something that you are going to personally *** benefit from?”

Recently, Representative Blackburn was one of the Republicans in the room challenging the assertions of Barak Obama about all the good that his Obamacare initiatives would bring to the country. She has long championed tort reform to lower doctors’ malpractice costs and cut down on unnecessary defensive medical actions; across state border health insurance options; and removing abortion and other elective surgery payments by the federal government. Along with Inhofe, Blackburn has probably been the single biggest voice against Cap and Trade. Recently when Obama tried to over-ride the lack of senate votes by making Cap and Trade a de facto law in the form of an Environmental Protective Agency directive, Blackburn was immediately on her feet attacking the EPA for violating its own laws in making the directive; and it now appears that opposition has forced the EPA to delay implementation of its recent directive from this April to sometime next year. Inspired by Blackburn’s tough stance Texas and Virginia have sued the EPA for, using the refuted and disputed IPCC and CRU findings as the basis for their directive when the law says the studies involved must be done by the EPA itself.

Let us once again congratulate the April, 2010, Winner of the Truman-Reagan-Kennedy Statesmanship Award: Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn

Ya'all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

*** Rajjpuut’s recent revelation that both Gore and Obama are guilty of conflict of interest in pressing for Cap and Trade legislation and aim to profit Billion$$ via CCX clearly justifies Blackburn’s audacious attack.

When you think about idle or under-used factories all around the United States like those in Indiana, Michigan, Georgia and Tennesse where automobiles used to be built, it’s obvious that for the hoped-for recovery to get anywhere near the 138 million non-farm jobs we had around 2006, those factories need to start up again and get humming with the production of new automobiles, or perhaps, retooled and modernized . . . producing new something elses. For those who don’t think the government is the problem, listen to the words of Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn, a member of the House energy and commerce committee . . . .

“Not far from my district the Spring Hill plant sits idle. GM pulled out of Spring Hill, once the proud home to the Saturn line, in the wake of its bankruptcy last year. Reopening the plant, either for the production of cars or anything else, will be critical to jobs growth in Middle Tennessee. At a listening session with constituents who live in the 7th district and used to commute to work in Spring Hill, the message was clear: to get the plant up and running again, Washington is going to have to do ... less.

Washington, or more specifically the Environmental Protection Agency, poses a significant challenge to any new enterprise that hopes to revitalize Spring Hill and Tennessee’s economy. While Tennesseans are looking for a new owner to come in, take over the Spring Hill plant and get it producing again, the EPA has proposed a series of regulations that would require businesses to certify they have limited carbon emissions or pay steep fines. These regulations are a result of their “endangerment finding” under the Clean Air Act that carbon dioxide and other green house gasses pose a threat to human life. (Rajjpuut interjects here . . . The EPA was violating its own rules with these “endangered findings.” They are prohibited by law*** from making environmental regulations based upon somebody else’s studies such as the discredited CRU “global-warming” nonsense. They must conduct their own studies and base all regulations only upon their own studies, if the studies prove conclusively that the moves are warranted. Marsha Blackburn continues . . . .)

“The new greenhouse gas rules will require anyone who buys the Spring Hill plant and performs any modifications on it — which they will likely have to do — to analyze all the greenhouse gas emissions from the plant and from all its potential new processes. Any new owner will have to report these emissions to the EPA. All the while, Tennesseans remain jobless.

“Most possible uses for the Spring Hill plant would cause the plant to exceed the 25,000 annual tons of carbon dioxide emissions the EPA proposes to allow, classifying it as a “major emitter.” Major emitters must go through additional review and permitting by the EPA, a process that could take months or years. These are years when an entrepreneur owns, maintains, and pays taxes on a non-productive facility — clearly a disincentive to anyone thinking of reopening a plant in the United States.

“To add to the cost, the EPA will require major emitters to purchase and install the ‘best available control technology’ to reduce emissions to an acceptable level. Even when that equipment is installed, the new owner isn’t done with EPA-imposed costs. Because the EPA found that the Clean Air Act applies to carbon dioxide, any new owners of the Spring Hill plant are open to being sued if the carbon capture technology fails or the plant ever exceeds the EPA emission ceiling. Such a specter of unanticipated cost would hang over the plant for its entire operational life. While potential new owners calculate the possible cost, Tennesseans go jobless.

“As Washington works to balance economic impact with the need to spur energy independence, the EPA lurks on the Hill with these disastrous carbon restrictions in its briefcase, threatening to detonate them on the economy in the event that the Senate doesn’t meet its minimum standard of economy-killing carbon limits. Its actions are a clear executive overreach.”

The rest of Blackburn’s commentary can be found at:

http://thehill.com/special-reports/earth-day-april-2010/93643-epa-stands-in-the-way-of-recovery

She proposed a bill that would void the EPA’s endangerment findings and prohibit the agency from regulating carbon emissions under the auspices of the Clean Air Act in an effort to help the Spring Hill plant re-emerge from its near death experience. She then talked about the EPA announcing a video contest with a $2,500 prize to help Americans appreciate how EPA regulations and the entire regulatory process “benefits the citizens.” The fact of the matter is that the EPA’s regulations are killing the country and are a huge part of the problem and the proposed Cap and Trade legislation would cost America at least $220 Billion each and every year it’s in effect probably much more. One of Mr. Obama’s cronies at CCX (the Chicago Climate eXchange) has admitted on TV that their group sees climate exchange as a “Ten TRillion Dollar industry.” Since that industry produces nothing but only sells literal “blue sky nothingness to the productive parts of the economy (a shakedown, if you will, by the EPA) then the rest of the economy must lose $10 TRillion for the CCX to exist since the output of the whole non-government economy is now between $15-$16 TRillion . . . you get an idea of just what a raping cap and trade will prove to our nation and its future. Clearly, Mr. Obama as a board member of CCX is operating in conflicting of interest when he pushed the legislative process and again when he commanded the EPA to regulate carbon emissions a la cap and trade. You can read the specifics of this illegal and unconstitutonal matter and of Al Gore’s and President Obama’s betrayal in these three prior Rajjpuut’s Folly blogs:

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/05/02/thanks_to_media_obama,__gore_and_cronies_might_make_trillions.thtml

As mentioned often by this blogger, the President has been repeatedly guilty of illegal and unconstitutional acts. After his impeachment, it would also be fitting and proper if the mainstream media that aided and abetted his rise to power and his illegal activities by refusing to engage in journalism but instead served as cheerleaders who refused to vett his connections, his activities and his personal background . . . Obama’s betrayal might be great but the betrayal of mainstream journalism upon the American people has been greater. Here Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn explains the simplest truths that are so basic to understanding how a capitalist economy creates jobs . . . and yet such a story is never a part of the media’s “hot topics,” never.

Like Obama himself, the EPA has seriously overstepped their bounds and the misuse of bureaucratic power by the president and by the EPA is a huge problem. Ask the folks around Fresno county (the richest vegetable-growing region in the world) about their nearly 40% unemployment in some areas while the EPA to save the purportedly endangered Delta Smelt has forbidden use of irrigation piping and pumping in the region to save the smelt. The Fresno county workers got shafted by the EPA during a drought; and the consumers are paying much more for vegetables thanks to the EPA . . . and the EPA with such nonsense is killing the economy.

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut
*** The efforts of Marsha Blackburn and other Republicans in other states, made the EPA back down from their illegal stance. Supposedly, they canNOT return to this kind of heavy-handedness unless they themselves prove that global-warming is occurring and dangerous and that human activity is driving it. Of course we know from the Climate-Gate scandal that global-warming is a trumped-up result created by overzealous environmentalists pretending to do science but actually "cooking the books" by manipulation of data, as verified by the following article by the very liberal London Times talking about the actions of fellow Brits:
twelve days after the Climate-Gate data manipulation scandal at the East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) erupted, the most important liberal voice in Europe recognized the error of its ways and stopped promoting the lie that is "global-warming" but five months later our American media is still cheerleading for global-warming and for the godawful cap and trade and for the progressive Obama administration that will further kill our economy if allowed . . . and they still refuse to print any meaningful coverage of climate-gate; of cap and trade or about the connections between Gore, Obama, Goldman Sachs and several progressive foundationsa and CCX . . . .

Europe Discards Global-Warming (as B.S.) in Wake of Climate-Gate Scandal at CRU but America’s Media Ignore Story thus CCX Could Bring Obama, Gore, Goldman Sachs Ten$ of Trillion$

A week or so before Thanksgiving last year, the Climate-Gate scandal broke and surrounded the United Kingdoms’ famous East Anglia University and its now infamous Climate Research Unit (CRU) in controversy and notoriety such as Al Gore’s favorite subject, global warming, had never known. The European media took it all in and roughly a week after those thousands of CRU e-mails were aired for all to see, their verdict was in . . . global warming was deemed a hoax. By the twelfth day after the revelations broke, the ever- and oh-so liberal London Times sounded the death knell with their article linked here describing the circumstances of the CRU e-mail leak:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6936289.ece

The appropriately named Times Environment-Editor, Jonathan Leake, began his announcement on the upcoming funeral services for Global Warming hype and hypsters this way,

The storm began with just four cryptic words. “A miracle has happened,” announced a contributor to Climate Audit, a website devoted to criticising the science of climate change. “RC” said nothing more — but included a web link that took anyone who clicked on it to another site, Real Climate.

There, on the morning of November 17, they found a treasure trove: a thousand or so emails sent or received by Professor Phil Jones, director of the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. Jones is a key player in the science of climate change. His department’s databases on global temperature changes and its measurements have been crucial in building the case for global warming.

Amazingly, five months after Europeans discarded the global warming myth, it’s still alive and well right here in the good ol’ USA. In fact Barack Obama has made several efforts to push across “C ‘n T” (Cap and Trade) legislation. Even when it appeared that the global warming band wagon had stalled in the U.S. Senate, Obama exercised a presidential directive to the Environmental Protection Agency which motivated the EPA to immediately issue an agency directive that would have made C ‘n T a de facto part of life here in the United States. However, like so much this president has done, this action was not only hasty and self-serving, it was illegal and UNconstitutional.
The law in question requires the EPA before making environmental regulations must perform its own research. The EPA must then base any regulations it imposes only upon the results of its own studies and not, for example, on the crap they’d been receiving lo’ these many years from East Angla University’s CRU. The EPA regulations requiring massive emissions’ crackdowns were challenged for, in fact, violating the EPA’s own laws and immediately rescinded.

Obama’s ultra-brazenness in all areas (his radical associates will surely accuse Rajjpuut of calling Barack “uppity” now) has been an unpleasant and dangerous surprise. His brazenness on C ‘n T is absolutely a crime, an impeachable conflict of interest . . . based upon Obama’s ties to the Chicago Climate eXchange and his position on the CCX board of directors which one of his cronies admitted in a TV interview could become a “Ten TRillion Dollar” Climate Exchange “industry” (they sell blue sky nothingness so the word “industry” is really an ugly stretch).

Of course in the big picture even among Europeans was that a whole slew of the big players (in this power grab loosely based on false climate info) tried to brass it out by attending a world climate meeting in Copenhagen in December, but their hearts weren’t really in it and nothing was accomplished except wasting a lot of fuel in their private jets. Any “event” where the starring role is played by Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez definitely must be considered a flop. Nevertheless, Chavez received amazingly positive press here in America and Climate-Gate Stories never materialized in the mainstream press. So while Europe has abandoned Cap and Trade ideas and global warming scenarios altogether, American citizens who only get their news from CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and the liberal press such as the New York Times (“all the important news fit to leave out of the paper”) still believe that global warming is a fact and some of them even think that C ‘n T laws are a great idea. This media refusal to cover the Climate-Gate hoax, thus still allows a strong possibility of making Al Gore, Barack Obama, and about twenty other famous and unknown cronies and several progressive foundations ten$ of TRillion$ of dollar$. Rajjpuut recently covered that scandal with these two blog-stories:

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/04/27/bend_over,_america,_here_comes_your_re-raping.thtml

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/04/30/obama_c_and_t_corruption_bared_for_all_to_see,_media_ignores.thtml

So, my friends it comes down to this . . . the nature and extent of the potentially greatest conflict of interest scandal in American history involving a lot of rich progressives and a sitting president and a former vice-president (both undeserving winners of the Nobel Peace Prize) is now fully exposed for anyone with a tenth of a brain to connect the dots and right now except for Glen Beck on Fox News, the American media establishment is refusing to investigate it . . . in fact five and a half months after Climate-Gate broke, they’re still refusing to investigate that pivotal story as well . . . just how much confidence does that give you in the integrity of American journalism** today?

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

** As a recipient of his university’s Academic Excellence in Journalism award, and a darn good feature writer in his day, Rajjpuut is appalled by the blatant “support” offered for all things progressive by the mainstream media . . . if Obama is guilty of several impeachable crimes, as Rajjpuut believes . . . then surely the mainstream media are guilty of aiding and abetting for absolutely refusing to vett this president on anything controversial.

Anything Worse than Progressive Lawmakers
Making Laws? Yes, Trial Lawyers Making
Laws for Lawmakers to Vote on!

Yesterday a suspected car bomb was found by police in Times Square. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Unfortunately, our nation has been under economic-terrorism for close to a century and most Americans don’t seem to know it or understand it and the media shows no interest in informing the public about it, but rather they make a constant practice of slanting their coverage to “bless” the economic terrorists among our politicians and savage the good names of productive people who believe in the constitution and in the power of free markets. The important thing to realize is this process, this corruption, is NOT just a D.C. phenomenon, but rather part of the progressive social fabric we've been blessed with for quite some time. In a couple paragraphs we will discuss the job-killing house bill 10-1394, whose design will cost thousands of Colorado jobs . . . that is the epitome of what’s being talked about here: economic terrorism. And it’s coming to every state like Colorado where the progressives swept into power because the best friends of the progressive movement after the unions are lawyers and lawmakers.

Since the days of Woodrow Wilson, Americans have been cursed by a progressive onslaught from the left (those looking for government to always step in and solve problems the Constitution says free people need to solve for themselves). Today such progressive ideas as Social Security, Medicare and the Federal side of Medicaid have given all of us $108 TRillion worth of unfunded obligations – a number over eight times larger than the present national debt and eighty times more ominous. Count on the new Obamacare law to add a TRillion dollars a year to that figure despite Obama-math projections that the bill will ease our deficits and slash the national debt. All this money must come from somewhere, whether from the present productive members of society or their productive children and grandchildren. That $108 TRillion came to be our present burden because progressives want their specious laws right now and within the laws to “set aside” the money to pay for the new laws, except, ooopsy-doopsy, they never ever actually set any money aside and that is their mode of operation: promise anything and everything for everybody to get the votes of the masses of the uninformed, but forget to balance the budgets and omit actually paying for anything.

Progressives, by the way, and liberals are the same animal, but “progressive” is a better name, much more accurate because even though it is correct to say that “liberals” are liberal users of OUR money rather than their own . . . it is more informative to realize that progressives believe the U.S. Constitution is just some ancient piece of parchment and that the country truly needs to “progress” beyond the fuddy-duddy out-dated concepts of the founding fathers. As far as the most adamant progressives among them are concerned they, having read “Das Kapital,” surely know a better way and the Constitution be damned. At its roots all progressivism is based upon the ideas that Karl Marx espoused of a Utopian (communist) society where “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” was the way every person on earth perfected himself and where the state’s job was to look out for the total interests of everyone which, of course dovetail perfectly with the state’s interests. Capitalism, by contrast, is based upon imperfect people looking out for their own interests, rational and otherwise, and rewarding those who do a good job in the free market of satisfying the needs of others and themselves. One of the most evil things the progressives have done is to progressively over time create a climate wherein lawmaking has become a full-time proposition. The only state that presently reflects the spirit of the original founding fathers is Texas whose lawmakers meet for only 140 days every other year. Everywhere else in the country including Colorado and Washington, D.C., the legislative mischief progresses unabated virtually year round every single year.

Today across our nation we are met in a raging war between the two economic systems. At present the socialist precursor to communistic government is winning hands down. One battle in that war is raging in Colorado as we speak. The Progressive-wing of the Democratic party dominates here but unlike the national battlefield, where the Republicans have decided to stand on principle on every vote and the only bi-partisanship to be found is Democrats voting with the G.O.P against the various Obamanations masquerading as “reform” which aim to bring our whole economy under the government’s umbrella . . . however, here in Colorado the Republican Party has capitulated almost entirely to the Progressive Democrats.

Recently, for example, a unanimous voice vote in the Colorado House of Representatives revealed just how stupid our elected officials can be. Remember, that’s unanimous, as in nobody has even the slightest doubt that the law they’re voting for is an absolutely superb idea. The bill concerned insurance and was named HB (house bill) 10-1394. That bill was created by trial lawyers, the only one to prosper from this bill becoming law will be, you guessed it, trial lawyers. Just as Rajjpuut says unequivocally that anything that’s good for the radical Obama administration must be bad for the productive rest of us, let’s also agree that people who make their living fighting in courts are not the people to be making laws for us . . . for every wonderful Erin Brockovich out there (and, remember, she was NOT a trial lawyer just a concerned neutral citizen) there are sixty folks interested in every passing ambulance like a certain ex-trial lawyer who recently ran for vice-president of the United States. Any bill good for trial lawyers must almost certainly be a disaster for the rest of us. In this case the trial lawyers want to control insurance offered to construction companies in Colorado so that it’s almost impossible for anyone suing a construction company or its insurance company to ever lose a case. And to top that off, they want the wicked tentacles of this law to extend backwards into time to affect virtually every house built in Colorado by any current construction firm. Gee whilikers, Batman, you think that might bring out some crazy lawsuits? Clever, even if NOT principled, those trial lawyers . . . clever.

That bill is now in the Colorado State Senate. Meanwhile at least fifteen of the largest national insurance carriers have pulled out of Colorado and will no longer insure the Colorado construction industry, because, among it’s numerous evils, the bill is retro-active to the start of construction on virtually every house in Colorado and on those who built the house and insured the building of the house (the Constitution forbids ex post facto laws, but those clever trial lawyers can do an awful lot of damage and make an awful lot of money and tie up a lot of good people in court for an awful lot of time before the new law is ruled eventually unconstitutional so a lot of money would by necessity have to be set aside* and just sit around in escrow on the mere possibility of such shenanigans). Colorado’s construction industry just had it’s first positive month recently and now this bill, if it becomes law will guarantee that Colorado construction firms cannot buy enough insurance with all the money in the world to protect themselves from the greed of the trial lawyers: one wonders if that will drive up housing costs? Insurance costs? Mortgage costs?

Right is right and wrong is wrong. If defects exist, insurance’s purpose is to cover justifiable claims. Their purpose is not to guarantee that insurors and construction companies must suffer wanton nuisance claims which the trial lawyers have guaranteed cannot be lost ever by any Bozo the clown carrying a brief case. This bill is the death of the construction industry in Colorado and must be repealed. You Flatlanders out there, watch for it, coming soon to a state near you . . . .

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

** When insurance companies "set aside" reserves to cover contingencies, they really do put the money aside . . . in contrast to politicians. The insurance companies are always whipping boys for politicians, but since their average take for health insurance is 3.7%, the politicians' logic, as almost always, is greatly flawed.

Liberal Mainstream Media Refuses

to Cover Obama Interest Conflict

With each new discovery the Obama corruption you read about in Rajjpuut’s recent blog: “Bend Over America, Here Comes Your Re-Raping,” keeps getting bigger and bigger and more and more comes to resemble a massive mafia money-laundering scheme . . . if you didn’t see the blog, it’s linked here:

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/04/27/bend_over,_america,_here_comes_your_re-raping.thtml

Much as the liberal media decided in late November, 2009, that so long as they refused to print the truth behind the huge Climate-Gate data falsification at East Anglia University’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) or to investigate further the connection between Al Gore and his London-based cronies and CRU . . . the problem just didn’t exist . . . the very same see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, print no evil and broadcast no evil policy is in effect as Barack Obama and his cronies have plotted the greatest interest-conflict crime in human history and the liberal media is again deciding NOT to cover the story. However, there’s still hope, perhaps Gore and Obama will bring Rajjpuut to court in a libel suit, NO? Unfortunately, NO! Factual reporting that’s true to the spirit of the matter being covered is not libel, damnation . . . .

Barack Obama and his socialist cronies (like Al Gore, John Ayers, Franklin Raines, Joel Rogers., numerous Goldman Sachs officials, the sly Mr. Sandor, the Joyce Federation folks, Enterprise Community Partners people, CCX** guys and the Emerald Cities Collaborative, The Tide Foundation and the Fannie Mae junta) have been tied together in a conspiracy to create cap and trade legislation that will bring their group $10 TRillion in government monies . . . but for some unknown(?) reason, the mainstream media as always refuses to cover stories that reflect ill upon the Emaculate Obama Persona. The Cap and Trade group has created a scam so impressive that the only way to describe it is as a direct pipeline into your wallet and mine potentially till the end of time. By the way Rajjpuut's knowledge of the virtual money-laundering for progressives interested in scamming the country via Cap and Trade has now expanded to include the three new group's in green font in this paragraph and, of course, the old ACORN association as well as Van Jones is also tied to Mr. Obama and all these people also . . . incredible!

The Libel laws of the United States mean that the dirty scum involved could sue me within an inch of my life if my facts were seriously flawed . . . but somehow I think there’s a ten times better chance they’d bump me off then they’d risk taking me to court. Of course, the person they really hate is Fox New’s Glen Beck because Glen’s making the rest of the internet investigators out here look like a lazy bunch of pikers. Instead they're hoping to provoke violence by the peaceful TEA Partiers or other such reaction that they believe could shift the political climate in their favor . . . .

Bottom line: the persons and groups mentioned have $10 TRillion at risk right now. Cap and Trade legislation which they expected to pass by now would funnel all the country’s businesses through their Chicago Climate eXchange and rob the productive part of America of the ten trillion dollars mentioned and pass it along to the unproductive side while bringing the corrupt folks mentioned an unending stream of huge “climate-exchange” commissions on through eternity: it’s so beautiful to be a communist in the 21st Century. How do they hope to change the political climate to get their evil bill passed? Easy . . . .

They’re playing the race game for all it’s worth, hoping eventually to use amnesty to give themselves 13 to 14 million new voters about 95% Democrats, they believe. The first step was to play ugly with Arizona’s efforts to stem the tide of drugs, weapons, kidnappings, human-trafficking and other criminal problems by passing a law to do what Obama’s feds refuse to do: protect the U.S. border in Arizona. They’re trying to excite Hispanics to believe that Republicans are out to get at them and deny them their civil rights by some sort of police-state mentality. They’ve even taken to trying to make Puerto Rico a state . . . in his ignorance, Mr. Obama knows nothing of Puerto Rico’s politics. The island will never adopt statehood voted upon them by the U.S. Federal government . . . we’re talking about a very cantankerous and proud group those Puerto Ricans. Roughly every five or six years throughout the Island’s history they’ve debated the question of seeking American statehood. The breakdown every time is roughly the same: 1/3 of the Island favors U.S. statehood; 1/3 wants to become totally free of the U.S. and about 1/3 of them prefer that the status quo remain in place. By the nature of things, the “grupo estatus quo” always wins. Mr. Obama is not going to railroad them for his nefarious purposes, what does he think Puerto Rico is? Democratic law makers?

No . . . Puerto Ricans are good folks not Progressive (“feeling the need to “progress” way beyond the Constitution”) scum who spit on the Constitution with every breath. Please, please sue me, Mr. Obama!

Beranard Goldberg’s “A Slobbering Love Affair” is a MUST for anyone who loves this country. He pulls no punches. How should YOU view the nightly news?

Get your news from several sources: When it comes to hard news, not opinion, watch conservative Fox News and find a liberal news channel you like. The real story is not always on the ground but lies in the media** spin. Yesterday, one channel showing an uneventful TEA Party rally called it an “ugly demonstration” and spoke of racism, hate and violent tendencies; yet also talked of the Arizona mini-riots as “semi-peaceful” expressions of their frustrations with “a police state” and unconstitutional laws and racism. FOX, however, labeled the situations as my eyes and ears perceived them: one demonstration was peaceful and law-abiding the other was not with policemen being pushed and one hit in the back of the neck by a thrown water bottle. Semi-peaceful or semi-violent?

Look for evidence of neutral, objective and also biased reporting in 90% of the political stories. WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? HOW? WHY? should be all covered neutrally. If any account goes deeper, then at least two different (opposing) viewpoints should be fairly expressed, if not the report is biased. Reporter questions should simply elucidate greater detail, not push an agenda.

Notice adjectives and adverbs reporters employ: ABC talked about the “polarizing” speech of conservatives congressmen and the TEA Party but never once used the adjective “polarizing” to describe what the administration and Reid and Pelosi were doing (even though almost 60% of the country hated the bill and the methods used to propel it), therefore a biased report.

Fourth, always remember “the word is not the thing”: reform is NOT just change. So when someone labels some change “reform,” ask yourself “mere change” or will it actually improve things? And if you personally haven’t read and understood the 5,000 page bill, perhaps the best and most honest answer is, “I don’t know” (neither do congressmen who also haven’t read it).

Most crucial of all, write up questions about the story and follow-up from a conservative and liberal slant on the internet . . . be responsible for forming your own opinion and holding a logical reason for it (“I’ve always felt . . .” is NOT logical).

Why does the TEA Party exist? It exists because people who love their country were not only fed up with the string of radical actions raping our wallets and spitting upon our Constitution by the spring of 2009, but also because these patriots felt isolated and helpless in the eye of the media storm of unceasing raucous support for this totally UN-American transformation of America into the nanny-state, abject socialism and now as we see more clearly communism itself. Look at it this way, we are suffering through a crisis created by, managed by and exploited to their great advantage by the progressive (those who feel the need to “progress” FAR BEYOND the Constitution of the United States) element in this country. People are afraid to call them “Communists” because it invokes memories of the McCarthy era, but communists they are . . . .

IF, and it's a big IF, IF the Mainstream media did their jobs instead of engaging in gutless and corrupt partisanship ever-benefitting the Progressive wing of the Democratic Party . . . IF they did their jobs, by 2000 Americans would have been well-informed enough to understand the present crisis was coming and informed enough to do something to ward it off, specifically:

o Presumably, one hundred times as many people would have read “Rules for Radicals” by community organizer Saul Alinsky and understood what and how the Communist Party planned to cleverly and subtlely bring down and replace the U.S. Government. But the media failed to do its job and Americans remained unaware.

o Citizens would have understood the much publicized and discussed (by the left wing) Cloward-Piven Strategy and read their boasting and detailed description of how they deliberately created the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) specifically for the purpose of employing C-P Strategy and used NWRO to bankrupt New York City and almost New York State in 1975, a project that took them roughly eight years to complete. The citizenry would have understood the in-your-face radical affrontery of these radicals that made their uprising work. But the media failed to do its job and Americans remained unaware.

o Americans would have understood the original CRA ’77 (Community Reinvestment Act) was an unneeded GIB (government interference boondoggle). The United States at that time enjoyed the highest home ownership in the world at well over 60% for over thirty consecutive years when it was passed. Then they’d have seen the ’92 expansion into the Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae programs with mortgage-guarantee legislation for the danger it was; the ’95 expansion of M-G programs similarly; and understood why Clinton’s ’98 expansion was the final piece of the M-G puzzle that put the whole process on steroids. These were all both attacks on landlords and unneeded interference in the free market system which has made us the wealthiest and most just country in the world. But the media failed to do its job and Americans remained unaware.

o Americans would not have been surprised by the creation of the C-P organization ACORN and its Saul Alinsky style of operation. They would have understood what radical lawyers like Barack Obama were doing and why and how they were doing it. They would have understood how and why they were able to force banks and lending organizations to hand out hopelessly ill-advised loans, often to people without I.D., without jobs; with abysmally poor credit ratings; without home addresses or rental addresses; even to illegal aliens. But the media failed to do its job and Americans remained unaware.

o If if Americans didn’t discover all the previously items until 2007, when the crisis raised it’s ugly head, if they’d known then what was going on, our country NOW would be markedly different. But the media failed to do its job and Americans still remained unaware.

Today, the media is not only NOT doing its jobs (and much of the country still remains unaware of the truth of our situation, but the media still continues to act as a joyful advocate for the Communist Obama agenda . . .

Presently there are two righteous non-violent uprisings going on in this country, these two protests are based upon the single-most important of our Bill of Rights: the 10th Amendment which says: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

A. On the one hand citizen-activists such as the TEA Party movement are making their outrage known. They are asking for fiscal responsibility, responsiveness by the Congress and President to real concerns; a return to honoring and obeying our Constitution and the Bill of Rights; balanced budgets and elimination of deficits and national debt; and transparency and honesty in government.

B. A second rebellion is marked by the individual states enacting laws that oppose federal legislation and a set of law suits against recently enacted unconstitutional federal programs.

C. There are only 17 specific powers which the Constitution allows our federal government, perhaps ten times that number of powers have been exercised by the federal government up till January, 2009.

D. Since that time perhaps 17,000 federal powers have been enacted by the Obama adminstration . . . pay attention here . . . the New Deal under FDR created 39 brand new federal agencies between 1933 and 1938. In just one law “Obamacare” the federal government has enacted the creation of almost 400 new federal agencies.

E. While the actions and unwise inactions of the progressive Republican President Hoover and the ultra-progressive Democratic President Franklin Roosevelt extended a recession into a twelve and a half year ordeal known as the Great Depression, revisionist history has NOT told the truth and made Roosevelt a hero. They have eliminated the fact that Roosevelt ran on promises of cutting taxes, cutting spending, bolstering the gold standard, and eliminating programs that Hoover had introduced. Why would he run his successful campaign like this?

F. Because the “Unknown Depression” begun in late 1920 under the progressive President Woodrow Wilson, was cleared up quickly by Harding cutting spending 49% and cutting taxes 40%. Harding died in office, but his vice-president Calvin Coolidge continued his policies which reversed the fiscal disaster and ushered in the Roaring Twenties the greatest shift in prosperity ever seen in the world. This is when for the first time, Americans in large numbers came to own their own automobiles, folks in cities and farms all had electricity and 85% came to have indoor plumbing. Virtually every household obtained an ice box or refrigerator, etc.

G. Because the media failed to do its job and Americans remained unaware, we have long lost our way and as we continued in the wrong direction, the media have cheered us on every misguided step of the way. We need, we demand a responsible new journalism interested in the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Meanwhile . . . .

Our brothers in Arizona have created a law that mirrors precisely the attributes of the federal anti-illegal immigration statutes while emphasizing the need for police fairness and avoidance of even the appearance of racial profiling. The state and local police may act on this new law, ONLY when a just arrest or detainment is in progress, by asking for identification when an apparent illegal alien is in their custody. Since LEGAL justified aliens are required by law to carry a green card at all times, the Arizona law is a virtually perfect instrument for the state to take back its southern border. Nationally over 60% favor the Arizona law signed by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. Within its borders 70% of Arizona citizens believe it’s a good law. However, President Obama and the progressives seeking to add fourteen million Pro-progressive votes by enacting an Amnesty law for illegals . . . has now chosen to once again raise the “racism” card. The same media that accused peaceful TEA Party demonstrators of racism, extremism, hate-mongering and radicalism is cheering on and abetting the violent demonstrations in Arizona. The law, is our protection. Non-violence, a la Gandhi is our protection. Quiet persistence is our protection. And ultimately the wisdom of our Founding Fathers is our protection. We must wield these weapons wisely and relentlessly if we are to ever hope to bring this country back to reasonableness and prosperity.

Obama Drops Homeland Securtiy Ball, Blames Arizona

The man who pledged that during his presidency, he would be a statesman who “would bring us together,” has become a politician of the lowest ilk and a massively divisive influence upon the nation. Playing the race game for political gain for at least the fiftieth time since last June when he first turned the spigots of hate and intolerance upon the TEA Party protestors with thumbs in both his ears, Barack Obama also showed that for a man who lectured upon Constitutional law, he knows nothing about the 10th Amendment, the foundation of the Bill of Rights. Let us be clear: the reason that millions of pounds of drugs are going through Arizona every year and that Phoenix, Arizona is the kidnap capital of the country and only second to Bogota, Colombia as kidnap capital of the world is because President and his Homeland Security group have dropped the ball willfully on illegal immigration.

Janet Napolitano, Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary and the former governor of Arizona has no political will to protect the United States or Arizona from the Mexican Drug Cartels, human-traffickers and assorted felons mixed in with the one million border-crossers who use Arizona as an entry point. She, herself, as goverenor asked for a military or national guard presence along the border to stem the relentless tide of undocumented entrants into the state. But Obama has made it clear, he favors eventual amnesty in which he expects 90% of the new citizens will automatically become Obama voters . . . nothing, not even performing the federal government’s main job (protecting the country and its borders) will be allowed to come between Barack and his unbridled ambition.

Obama and the Democrats are hollering “Nazis,” “police state,” “racial profiling” and “civil-right’s nightmare” to describe a fair and well-written law which has been crafted to mirror exactly the federal immigration law that Obama’s federal government won’t enforce and to minimize any chance of racial profiling by Arizona police. Unless the citizen is arrested or detained with real likelihood of being involved in a crime, I.D. cannot be called for. Since all legitimate non-citizens are required to carry a green card with them at all times, the only problem is in Obama’s mind. It’s all a cleverly designed ploy, as are all Obama’s resorts to crying “racism,” to create unrest among Hispanics in hopes of solidifying that voting bloc for himself and thus for Democrats come November. The lamestream, mainstream media which unhesitatingly broadcast every claim of “racism, violence, extremism” and the like against the serene Tea Partiers . . . now is talking about the “justified anger” as they portray milling angry mobs in Phoenix as merely “righteously upset” citizenry. Well righteously upset citizenry don’t call for burning down the city of Phoenix. These are the “journalists” who will report all the news fair and square, hah?

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/04/27/bend_over,_america,_here_comes_your_re-raping.thtml

Readers of Rajjpuut’s recent blog, “Bend Over, America, Here Comes Your Re-Raping,” know that Goldman Sachs is very much a villain in league with the Obama adminstration in plotting the birth of Cap and Trade legislation that will greatly profit them both but literally kill the United States. So GS, often known as “Government Sachs” is a wet buffalo chip at best . . . ‘nuff said. Nevertheless, the current senate hearings on Goldman Sachs, while potentially fruitful (they might actually find evidence that Goldman Sachs extra-actively endorsed the attractiveness of the hedge vehicles in question to the folks who lost about a billion dollars gambling upon them) but at first glance this is a case of the absolutely least principled and least fiscally-disciplined folks in the world pointing their wagging fingers at someone else by insinuating GS was one of the chief causes of the financial meltdown from October, 2007 to present. Unless a smoking gun is found, which never happens during these inane senate hearings, the very best they can say is that Goldman Sachs profited from a situation in 2007 which is not allowed today in 2010, and since the Constitution wisely prohibits ex post facto legislation . . . the livid senators can spin on that little detail till the seas dry up.

As Rajjpuut has explained repeatedly in the last year, the real responsibility for the meltdown belongs in five camps:

o Progressive legislators (80% from among the Democrats and Democrat-backing Independents, Mr. Lieberman) who passed the four vile mortgage guarantee laws beginning with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (CRA ’77) through the Clinton ’98 mortgage-guarantee legslation that put the whole process on steroids in response to a housing crisis that never existed sinced the United States at 64% own-home ownership was by far the highest in the world . . . a government interference boondoggle of the highest order detailed briefly in the link above (the first raping of Americans in the 21st Century)

o ACORN which plotted to use these four mis-conceived and poorly written laws deliberately as a Cloward-Piven vehicle to transfer wealth and bring the country to its knees

o The lawyers like Barak Obama who were hired by ACORN to shake down the banks and other lending institutions and force them to make terribly unwise and fiscally negligent loans in accord with the horrible laws (see the details about the loans recipients at the link above) to people with no chance of ever paying off those loans and

o Greedy firms and banks who abandoned all pretense of fiscal probity in the search for the quick buck by eagerly buying bundled mortgages, make that bundled worthless mortgages.

o The FEDERAL RESERVE whose chiefs, Bernanke and especially Alan Greenspan acted like sideline cheerleader for the developing “derivatives” market. Greenspan claimed in 2002 that derivatives actually would act “to prevent ALL possibility of future market freefalls.

In this light, the hedging that GS was “guilty of” was merely sound business practice (selling both sides of an “issue” and profitting from commissions. The fact that Goldman Sach prospered (if no smoking gun is found at the Senatehearings) so much puts their fiscal responsibility in the highest light compared to say, AIG, Bear Steans, Leyman Bros., etc., etc., ad nauseum who risked their customers’ well-being with their worthless judgment.

This senate hearing is a monstrous smokescreen for two obvious reasons.

A. Today Greece went under. Her history is that they were a few years back running at a questionable 45% debt to Gross Domestic Product ratio (D/GDP) and today are slightly over 100% on that ratio and basically bankrupt with their debt paper (bonds, treasury notes) valued at pennies on the dollar. What’s not said is that we Americans were ourselves operating at a more questionable 50% D/GDP ratio in late 2008 and now under Obama are already at 75% D/GDP and well on the road to becoming the next Greece. And

B. There is only one known model for recovery applicable. To end the “Unknown Depression of 1920” sometimes called the “Invisible Depression,” Warren G. Harding and after Harding’s death Calvin Coolidge cut government spending 49% and cut taxes 40%. The group in the house and senate and the oval office today has dramatically increased spending and even more dramatically upped taxes. The result will unquestionably be a long, painful Depression of the type engineered by the Progressive Republican Harding and the Ultra-Progressive Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt which lasted the better part of thirteen years.

Until their own house is in order, politicians hold NO RIGHT to criticize anyone. As with virtually everything that’s happened since Obama’s inauguration, the whole situation smacks of a world being turned upside down the legislators are severely scolding Wall Street for the fiasco which their four ill-advised criminal laws created. Rajjpuut says “criminal” because there was surely never any thought of mortgage guarantees for the American Republic when the founding fathers created our Constitution. Obama creates a law forcing Americans to buy a commodity and his minions from the IRS can “ask for your papers” to verify that you are not acting illegally. Somehow that’s all “fine and dandy,” but policemen in Arizona can’t check IDs to make sure that everyone in their state is legally there? Until the world gets righted again, we’re going to see a lot of this crap.

If you think you pay enough taxes . . .

It’s an experience few ever expected would happen to them, not only surrendering their U.S. passport, but doing so gladly. Being an American in Paris, or anywhere outside our own borders is a very expensive proposition time- and money-wise. Oh, and then there’s the matter of aggravation. If this sounds like an utterly horrendous and impossible situation to you, American expatriates in foreign lands can assure you . . . it’s even more so to them as they live out some godawful scenarios day after day . . . .

It used to be that the number of Americans turning in their passports in any given year could be measured in the dozens. It used to be that except for a few political malcontents, it just never happened. Right now thousands of applications for renouncing American citizenship are filling up the in-boxes in U.S. embassies and consulates around the globe. Today 95% of these acts are because of taxes or aggravation or both. The United States, you see, is the nastiest nation in the manner it treats its expatriates among all the countries in the world. We are the only nation in the industrialized world that taxes its citizens overseas . . . making them subject to taxes where they live on top of back home and fewer and fewer of them given today’s climate see any long-term benefit to retaining their American citizenship. One of the main bugaboos has been recent attempts by the United States to pry into the finances of the expatriate citizens.

A lot of the aggravation expatriates feel, for example, is tied up with complex and time-consuming laws requiring expatriates to report all foreign bank accounts with balances in excess of $10,000 and exceedingly large penalties for those who don’t comply either on purpose or by accident. While these laws were aimed at the criminal element, the toll on the lawful expatriate can be devastating. One brother of a friend of Rajjpuut’s put it this way. “Just didn’t know the law and my $18,000 bank account could have landed me in prison or cost a huge fine, talk about a life-destroying slip up. I wonder how many big-crooks with accounts in Switzerland or the Cayman’s they catch with their crappy laws zero, I’d guess. I’m not sure how many times they’ve changed that law, but they were finally successful, they got me. They’ll nail lots of honest citizens for sure, well let ‘em stuff my *&%^$#(8@/? passport.

The biggest hassles, however, come from the compliance of foreign companies with American financial and savings laws. Americans living outside the country are quite often refused certain services because of all the hoop-jumping required for the foreign banks and financial institutions who just don’t want to be bothered for a miniscule number of American customers. The logistics of being an expatriate American is tiresome, at times costly and, many expatriates believe increasingly aggravating to the point of questioning the value of their citizenship. In a Time Magazine article the founder of the American Citizens Abroad (ACA) advocacy group Andy Sundberg speaking about America's attitude toward expatriates put it this way, “We have become toxic citizens.”

Sundberg says that unfortunately more and more expatriate Americans can help America and themselves by just renouncing their citizenship. Not only escaping the financial burden of double taxation but actually bettering the U.S. economy because without being Americans they’ll face fewer logistical nightmares and “it’ll become much easier for them to get a job abroad, and to set up, own and operate private companies promoting American exports.” Sad as it may seem, that ‘s the only win-win situation for many expatriates. The biggest downside is that they can only stay ninety days in the United States in a given year which tends to make the decision to surrender American citizenship difficult for many. But the sense of greater freedom and the huge financial relief drives more and more to do it. Sometimes families and friends tend to look upon the expat as a “Benedict Arnold” which complicates matters, but most understand. However, even when you hang up your U.S. passport for good, expatriates still get punched in the nose . . . you guessed it, there’s an “exit tax.”

Hey, You’re about to be Re-Raped by Gore, Goldman Sachs,

Barack, and Your Very Own Federal Guv , Have a Nice Day!

In the upcoming re-rape of the U.S. Taxpayers engineered by the Federal Government, most of the citizenry will not even get a kiss. But since Rajjpuut likes YOU, we’ll see to it that you not only get a kiss, by Jove, but perhaps even enough understanding to survive or glory-be actually thrive. Pay attention, now, you really do want that kiss!

First a bit of history: the last time the country got raped it was through a little manipulation called the sub-prime lending crisis. The laws had to be changed four times before that scam finally worked. In chronological order those laws were: the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. The expansion of CRA into the Federal progtams at Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac in 1992; a smaller expansion in 1995 and finally the Bill Clinton expansion in 1998 that put the whole system on steroids. A group called ACORN with lawyers such as Barack Obama worked at forcing lending institutions to grant ridiculous loans (forced by the four laws just mentioned) to some people

A. without I.D.
B. without jobs
C. with abysmal credit ratings
D. without even a bona fide rental address and even to
E. illegal aliens.

Then some people bundled a lot of these horrendous mortgages together and sold them to other people known as “fish.” One of the biggest profiteers from this activity was a group on Wall Street known as Goldman Sachs. You may have heard of them. As far as Rajjpuut can tell GS, sometimes known as “Government Sachs” actually did nothing technically wrong, they just made a lot of money out of the entire country’s misery . . . . originally Rajjpuut thought that ACORN and the progressive politicians were the culprits . . . but GS, well, let’s see where our story leads us . . . .

OK, OK the last time we bundled mortgages together, so the suckers won’t fall for that for at least a decade – how in hell can we make a dishonest buck? Hmmmm. But first did you know that eleven key regulators of the financial industries (FEDS, in other words) and eight key members of the Obama industry have spent a good deal of their adult lives working for Goldman Sachs? Maybe that’s where the name Government Sachs comes from. Let’s see where were we? Oh, yeah, how to re-rape the country. Well first we need something to sell . . . .

“I know, I know” said a clever senator from Tennessee and another clever senator from Chicago. The two clever senators decided to sell the country and the world “Blue Sky” – clear blue sky, step right up and get your blue sky.

Here’s how it workes . . . You may have heard of the Tides** Foundation, it’s a place where rich progressives donate a lot of money and then you can’t tell that they’re involved because everything is hush-hush secret and done by this anonymous entity . . . the foundation. The Tides Foundation is a non-profit that’s purportedly promotes social justice, cleaner environment, etc., but what it really does is take advantage of the godawful regulatory climate, which progressive lawmakers have pushed onto all of us, to find appropriately complex and very profitable scams . . . all in the name of advancing questionable liberal/progressive goals. The Tides Foundation is huge. Well imagine something even bigger, something that could fit up to ten or twelve Tides Foundations inside it and still have wiggle room. In fact this larger entity, The Joyce** Foundation, actually is one of, if not THE largest funder for the Tides Foundation. If that looks like money laundering to you . . . well so be it.

So in 2001, the senator from Tennessee had just almost been president of the United States and he was going around the world in his jet spreading a lot of nasty exhaust but telling a lot of lies supposedly based on real science, but actually just plain lies about something called global warming. And this Joyce Foundation they gave him and others money for a start-up grant to create an entity called CCX which would eventually sell the “blue-sky.” And the board (the group) that’s running this CCX (which stands for Chicago Climate Exchange) consists of that nice Tennessee fellow Al Gore and a London Investment group he works with (no relation to East Anglia University’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) of climate-gate shame, we’re sure, (or are we?); plus the brother of the well-known Weather Underground Bomb-maker Bill Ayers, John Ayers; plus three or four key Goldman Sachs people; and the Goldman Sachs Company itself (10% owner); plus Barak Obama who actually wasn’t even a U.S. Senator but just an Illinois Senator when he and a fellow named Sandor who’s the President of this CCX put the whole scam together. By the way, CCX is a voluntary agency – get that voluntary. And remember they’re selling (eventually) blue sky.

When Mr. Sandor was interviewed recently he estimated that the blue-sky sales business (also known as “Cap and Trade”) which creates something literally out of nothing would shortly become a $10 TRillion industry every single year. Since the full value of all the stocks on all the American exchanges and over the counter in all the companies is estimated at $15 TRillion which is $15 TRillion over all the earth’s history and therefore nothing compared to blue sky being worth $10 TRillion every single year . . . well that’ll give you a pretty good idea of what exactly blue sky can be worth in the hands of people with imagination and a bit of larceny in their souls?

$10 TRillion, but wait, remember we said that the CCX was a voluntary group? You did remember that? So they've been working basically without reward for nine full years basically out of the goodness of their hearts, my my. Of course if climate-law such as Cap and Trade ever became the law of the land and they already were the most experienced at the business in the whole world . . . well $10, TRillion . . . . Any wonder why, with Cap and Trade stuck forever in the Senate, Barack Obama has tried to make (a presidential edict) Cap and Trade the law of the land via the EPA? Ah well, bend over America, ENJOY! And as for Barack Obama, it's called conflict of frigging interest Mr. President.

Note: The following items, not representing utter worship of Barack Obama, have been largely omitted from the evening news. Shame on the mainstream media . . . .
Item #1: "No administration should be the the chief investigator, judge and jury of its own actions . . ." says Senator Joseph (Joe), supposedly Independent, Lieberman has for the first time in about twenty months bucked the Democrats he caucuses with. And the Obama administration, in its turn has thumbed its nose at Independent Joe, saying they don’t want to “jeopardize an ongoing investigation” and won't share the info he's requesting. The Departments of Homeland Security and Defense have both refused to honor their subpoenas from Democratic Senator Lieberman, Acting as chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Liebermann is charging the Obama administration and these agencies with deliberate obstruction of the congressional hearings into the Ft. Hood shootings and running a cover-up. Rajjpuut senses that it must be very difficult to prove the case against a fellow with only sixty eye witnesses. Of course, proving that case without once allowing either Army documents or testimony containing the nasty words “Muslim,” “extremist,” “jihad,” “Al Qaeda” and “Awlaki” may be more interesting. Political correctness must be served. Rajjpuut expects prompt settlement of the matter after the 2012 election.

Item #2: You remember H1Ni Flu? It seems that 70% of the vaccine created to fight the virus is about to expire UNused. Which means that a lot of money was wasted. Which also means that 80% of the people the “crucial” vaccine was supposedly of “life or death importance” for never elected to get their shots. Rajjpuut who has never received a flu shot, and never will, remembers calling this a boondoggle way back when. Well if they didn’t get their absolutely vital flu shots, and we still haven’t heard of a rash of deaths and injuries and hospital stays related to the H1N1 Flu . . . sounds like a boondoggle to anyone with ears and a brain. Now what about those complaints of disastrous H1N1 vaccine side effects; or those spray vaccines?

Item #3: If there exists a more frequently abused word in the political vernacular than “reform” Rajjpuut would like to hear it. Just as the media headlines during the Obamacare debates shouted out continually, “Republicans block health care reform”; now as we approach the merry month of May with congress debating the godawful Barack Banking and Wall Street Bill, they ring out “Republicans block Wall Street reform.” While the Republican under Bush screwed us royally with Bailout #1 and before that with Medicare Part D two incredibly massive Government Spending Boondoggles (GSBs) . . . they’ve proven, at long last they’ve earned their “fiscal-conservatives” label. Just because some Obama-worshipping cretins like Pelosi and Reid label some bill “reform” doesn’t mean it’s anything like reform. Reform takes bad situations and corrects them. Reform takes ineffective acts or, in this case laws, and makes them work. Not one item proposed and or passed by the Obama administration thus far other than the ¾- surge in Afghanistan has been an improvement of anything. To paraphrase Forest Gump, when it comes to “reform,” stupid is as Pelosi does.

Item #4: The senate denied passage today to the so-called “Financial Reform Bill” advocated by the Obama administration. The house of representatives voted to pass the more accurately described “Barack Banking Bill” by 223-202. The Democrats believe that the people are easily fooled and want this bill in the headlines till November with “Republicans Oppose Wall Street Reform” and the like. It always sounds bad to be against REFORM, never sounds good, even if it's the only thing a legislator with conscience can do. As S.I Hayakawa said in his semantics masterpiece ("Language in Thought and Action") “the word is NOT the thing.” Obama calling something “reform” is like a child molestor calling his avocation “lollipop distribution.”

Item #5: True bi-partisanship has gone completely unnoticed by both the Democrats and the riotious cacophony of the media clamoring for Cap and Trade and Obamacare and the latest Barak Banking initiatives. There was TRUE bi-partisanship with both Republicans and Democrats voting against Obamacare in the house. Both again voted together against Cap and Trade in the house and both are keeping the matter from coming to a vote in the senate. Today two Democrats voted against Barak Banking in the Senate, including Harry Reid who joined Nebraska’s Ben Nelson in opposition to Reid’s bill. However, that ever- tricky Reid just wanted to be able to re-introduce the bill as soon as possible according to parliamentary concerns. Nelson said he hadn’t had time to study the 3,137 page bill. Of course we know, almost no one else had time to “read” the bill much less study it – but that didn’t stop them from voting on it, get with the program, Nelson! And by the way, yes the House did pass Barack Banking 223 to 203. That means that 27 Democrats had the patriotism and intelligence to oppose Obama’s corrupt transformation to communism. Again it was a bi-partisan vote against Obama’s nonsense.

Item #6: A Rassmussen Reports poll today found that 60% of Americans see capitalism as better than socialism (18% disagree while 21% say they’re not sure; included in that 60%, are 43% of Democrats who agree that capitalism is better while 24% of Dems favor socialism). When the question is altered to replace the term “free market economy” for the term “capitalism,” 77% of Americans prefer a free market economy. A separate poll showed that 58% of Americans oppose Obamacare and want it repealed; while 60% say the bill will increase deficits. Some Democrats in Congress may be fooled about the Obama administration, but increasingly the voters are definitely not.

Item #7: It’s OFFICIAL: GM lied to us . . . . Since GM had not shown much of a profit recently and failed to show a profit at least five of the last seven quarters, it wasn’t hard to be skeptical. The bogus General Motors claim that they’d paid off their bailout “five years ahead of time, including interest” is certainly NOT convincing taxpayers at all and the loyal opposition is all over it. You may have seen the commericials with GM CEO/Chairman Whiteacre asking us to “give GM another chance.” GM officially announced Wednesday last week that it had paid back the $8.1 billion in loans it received from the U.S. and Canadian governments. Of that, $6.7 billion went to the U.S. treasury. Of course, unmentioned is that the GM bailout actually costs nearly $84 Billion including a huge amount of money for the Obama-contributing United Auto Workers Union so that they could own the company in large part. Of course the bailout didn’t payoff the people GM actually owed money too; nor did it pay off others who held GM debt instruments such as several retirement funds. All of the rest of the blog following this and concerning GM is from Fox News”:

Republican Senator Grassley of Iowa said in a letter that a Securities and Exchange Commission form filed by GM showed that $6.7 billion of the tens of billions the company received was sitting in an escrow account and available to be used for repayment. He called on Geithner to provide more information about why the company was allowed to use bailout money to repay bailout money, and how much of the remaining escrow money GM would be allowed to keep.

"The bottom line seems to be that the TARP loans were 'repaid' with other TARP funds in a Treasury escrow account. The TARP loans were not repaid from money GM is earning selling cars, as GM and the administration have claimed in their speeches, press releases and television commercials," he wrote.

Vice President Biden on Wednesday called the GM repayment a "huge accomplishment." You remember "Clueless Joe?" He's the one who said that winning the Iraq War will prove to be "the greatest accomplishment of this administration so far" as Obama's (let's get out, quick as we can)policies in Iraq seem to be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory . . . He's definitely not in the loop on this one, "major accomplishment?"

TARP overseer Barofsky told Fox News"I think the one thing that a lot of people overlook with this is where they got the money to pay back the loan. And it isn't from earnings. ... It's actually from another pool of TARP money that they've already received," he said Wednesday. "I don't think we should exaggerate it too much. Remember that the source of this money is just other TARP money."

Barofsky told the Senate Finance Committee the same thing Tuesday, and said the main way for the federal government to earn money out of GM would be through "a liquidation of its ownership interest."

Grassley criticized the GM scenario in his letter.

"The taxpayers are still on the hook, and whether TARP funds are ultimately recovered depends entirely on the government's ability to sell GM stock in the future. Treasury has merely exchanged a legal right to repayment for an uncertain hope of sharing in the future growth of GM. A debt-for-equity swap is not a repayment," he wrote. Rajjpuut believes GM should go into the magic supplies business – nice sleight of hand*, Whiteacre, NICE!

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

*By the way, the owner of 61% of GM is still the federal government . . . and the greatest conflict of interest with this story lies with the Obama administration which stands to gain public esteem if people fall for Chairman Whiteacre’s bogus claim and start buying GM stock and GM cars

Government of “We the People”

NOT “You the Dictator,” Mr. Obama
This statue featuring US President Barack Obama when he was 10 years old was placed in Taman Menteng in Jakarta, Indonesia. Two months later on December 10, 2009 after much local controversy, it was removed to be permanently situated at the Muslim private school he attended for parts of five years. Much more below . . . .
How many Americans would have voted for Barack Obama if they knew the truth about this communist candidate for Kenyan president and then about the Muslim reign of violence he used to get close to power when voting wouldn't work for him? Much more below . . . .

We, the citizens of the United States, are in a world of HURT. As we quickly slide toward moving control over half of the economy under the federal government, let Rajjpuut say one thing very clear: Mr. Obama was raised a communist, is a communist, and the very best case scenario we will get out of him, if he’s stopped immediately will be the semi-socialist state that Obamacare has brought us to (its evils won’t be fully revealed until 2014). This is a sorry state of affairs. In the information age, 54% of the people were duped because they saw the glitz and heard the fine-sounding rhetoric but knew absolutely nothing about the character of the man they elected. The media and the Democratic Party shafted us by willfully keeping us in the dark . . . .

Obama outright stole the election from Hillary Clinton (by machine politics and thuggery and illegal bussing of out of staters across borders that won him 13 of the 14 caucus states . . . Clinton dominated in easily in the voting states) and the media and Democratic Party saw that and ignored that. His thuggery has expanded to the halls of congress. To say his actions, words and efforts “spit on the Constitution” is to call an aquatic bird that waddles, quacks and flies, GASP: a duck.

Barack Obama was the most mysterious presidential candidate in our nation’s history. The left-leaning media has never properly vetted him. We know a hundred times more about the background of the ill-fated John-John Kennedy than we do of Barack Obama’s. He is a communist. His birth-father was a communist who lost his government job in Kenya, for unceasing communist rants. Here from a relatively left-leaning source, his opinion is forever memorialized about the advisibility of 100% tax and here he names his favorite political-economic system “scientific-socialism” which he immediately clears up by saying “communism.” Read for yourself:

http://www.politico.com/static/PPM41_eastafrica.html

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0408/9610.html

Barack’s first autobiography (we all need at least two, don’t you know) “Dreams From My Father” has never been properly vetted by the media. The material (pictures, interviews and other recordings and some documents) were compiled by Obama. Large pieces of the writing were done by Bill Ayers (bomb-making Weather Underground avowed communist from the late 60’s . . . now a “respected" educator) and it’s as close to truth as Obama has ever gotten. He doesn’t mention “communism” by name but when he talks about "Dreams from My Father" (and grandfather and mother) he means dreams of communism.

Here’s some of what the left-leaning media didn’t choose to investigate: like Barack himself, his mother’s family attended a very controversial church. It was called the “Little Red Church” because the message most frequently heard there had nothing to do with anyone’s sacred book, but rather with “Das Kapital.” Karl Marx’s work. The family had been uprooted from Kansas so they might attend that church and so that his mother Stanley Ann Dunham could attend a communist-leaning Mercer Island prep school near Seattle, Washington, where she proved to be among the most adamantly radical of its students constantly holding forth in a segment of the hall called “Anarchy Alley” and there created the much discussed “Yirka Movement” (ten-years ahead of its time these were loosely-laid plans for a commune for fellow travellers, a.k.a. communists, away from the mainstream of American civilization) at the high school. “Free-love” in the H.G. Wells notion of it, was part of its allure and certainly no capitalism was allowed. In her defense, she was clearly a rebel and yet a lot of us have had some pretty wild notions whenwe were teens . . . one of the chief positive attributes of the Yirka commune would be its welcoming on equal terms of Indians, Blacks and people of all races as equal partners in the endeavor.

Although, Barack’s grandfather Stanley Armour Dunham, could have sold furniture anywhere, he chose that place, that church and most importantly, that school for his little girl. Later he would move to the newly established 50th state, Hawaii. Why? Because Hawaii U. at that time was the most tolerant campus for communist ideas in the country and Ann, as she was now finally calling herself, expected to fit right in. Barack was raised in that communist household by his communist mother and communist grandfather, Stanley Ann Dunham and Stanley Armour Dunham respectively. After her second marriage failed, his mother abandoned him to be raised by his communist grandfather. Because the boy was half-Black, Stanley Armour Dunham brought a mentor into the household for Barak, the Black communist poet Frank Marshall Davis whose stories about Chicago impressed Barack greatly. One thing Frank (his full name was never mentioned in “Dreams From My Father”) told Barack was to be circumspect around all Whites, even his grandparents, “they’ll never fully understand."

After she graduated from Mercer H.S. in 1960, there is great confusion about the beginning of Stanley Ann’s university career. Some documents definitely show she began in Washington but the family always maintained she was never ever there but in Hawaii all along. This could be important because there seems to be no existing record of the marriage by Ann and Barak (without a ‘c’) Hussein Obama, Sr. whom she definitely met at Hawaii U. The whole matter of fatherhood is somewhat problematical due to some indication that she might have had sexual relations with a Nation of Islam administrator when Malcolm X came to speak in Seattle that fall. Ann was definitely ahead of her time in race relations, so it’s possible, but no more than a possibility. Certainly she was a normal-sized woman and Barak Sr. was a normal-sized man five to six inches shorter than “his” son. Short of DNA testing for parenthood, we’ll never know. Some rightwing bloggers have said unequivocally (without proof, of course), that Obama is Malcolm X’s son, but besides everything else being very “iffy” Malcolm X was NOT a communist but, in fact, very much in favor of Black’s exploiting free markets to create businesses to advance themselves. Frankly, the rightwing blogs only have Malcolm X’s 6' 2" height as a factor on their sides. ‘nuff said. We’ll never know. We only know for sure that Ann Dunham was quite radical for her day.

Ms. Dunham a few years later divorced Barack Sr. when she found out he was already married (Barak Sr. had permission from his first wife to marry again -- polygamy is part of the tribal tradition for prosperous men in the area of Kenya where they lived) but not told her of the first marriage until much later, she claimed. Given her extreme radicalism, we can't be sure that conversation never happened either. She was not a conventional girl.

http://www.boston.com/news/world/asia/articles/2009/12/16/indonesian_campaign_targets_obama_statue/

That bronze statue of ten-year old Barack in Jakarta, Indonesia is quite something, eh? . . . not many ten year old boys leave such an impression. The next-to-last area of vetting where the mainstream media and the Democratic Party appeared to drop the ball is Obama’s Muslim connection. “I have never practiced Islam.” “I have always been a Christian.” Those are two of his most quoted statements right up there alongside, "I am NOT a socialist, I'm NOT." But the statue of young Barak (without a ‘c’) Obama in Indonesia where he attended Muslim school and was considered a “prize pupil” strongly suggest otherwise. It suggests that he was a practicing Muslim as a boy from 1967 - 1971 when he attended the school, which in itself is NO BIG DEAL because his mother’s second husband was a prosperous Muslim oil company executive. Young Barack attended school as Barry Soetero (his new father’s name). While Rajjpuut doesn’t enjoy being lied to (“I have never practiced Islam.”) normally a man’s religion is his own business. However, the Muslim connection does rear it’s head in a very ugly manner when it comes to Raila Odinga. If there is one piece of evidence about who is the true Barack Obama, Rajjpuut suggests . . . his dealings with Raila Odinaga reveal the character as clearly as anything ever could.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=57363

In 2006 and again in 2007 while already involved in his own presidential campaign Senator Barack Obama, using U.S. tax dollars for the trip, took time off to visit Kenya and campaign on behalf of Raila Odinga (a cousin?) the communist candidate for Kenya’s presidency. The mainstream media have totally ignored the easily discoverable facts of this trip, but have chosen not to. In fact, the mainstream media has been Barak Obama's chief enabler all along.

While in Kenya, on two different occasions Barack appeared and spoke in typical Muslim attire. He appeared all in all at over a dozen events wearing conventional shirt and tie most times. Let's talk about Odinga. He was university educated in East Berlin well before the fall of the Berlin Wall and favors “scientific socialism” a.k.a. communism. He is a Muslim. Muslim’s make up about 10% of the Kenyan populace. The largest religious group in Kenya are Christians at 45%. Despite these facts, most infamously Raila Odinga signed a document of “understanding” with Muslim leaders that he would impose “sharia” if elected. When it was revealed within weeks of its signing, the document seemingly cost Odinga all chance of winning the presidency. He quickly came out with a new document that had none of the first one’s provisions . . . .

Odinga, according to the first document of understanding, would have named Islam as the official religion of Kenya. It would have banned missionary work by other religions. It would have banned religious programming on radio or TV by other religions. You get the picture . . . but more information is available:

When Odinga lost the election badly, he claimed he was defrauded. The Muslim tribes* started a terror campaign in which many people died, much arson and violence was committed including rapes and wanton killing. The largest group among all the victims were Kenyan Christians and their churches. To pacify the Muslims, Odinga was named by the President as his Prime minister. Odinga never apologized for his part in creating the violent and intolerant atmosphere. Obama has not acknowledged campaigning for a communist, wearing Muslim garb, or speaking to Muslim groups. Or any part of the election in Kenya at all.

None of the facts discussed here are state secrets, if they’d have been true of John McCain, you bet the press would have covered it and the Democrats would have revealed it. If they’d have been true of Hillary Clinton or Bill Clinton her chief campaigner, we’d have found out about it courtesy of the press’ unabashed prefence for Barack Obama. Obama is 100% communist, he wants to transform America into an all-powerful federal government: a communist state. Socialism would be a best-case scenario . . . but we’re well past that now.

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

Barak Obama’s shortsighted energy policies in concert with intrusive environmental policies that have prevented the United States from building even one new oil refinery in the last thirty-seven years as well as keeping our country from exploiting its own oil reserves may very soon create a massive oil shortage in this country. The cause? Besides Obama and the environmental lunatic fringe, the cause is WAR! But not the war you’re expecting it might be . . . and, if America is caught napping, blame it 100% on willful ignorance . . . .
Americans as a people, unfortunately are ultra-lazy when it comes to learning about other nations, their cultures and languages around the world. For example, GM put an enormous amount of money into introducing their sporty little Nova into the Latin American markets way back when. It seemed after their studies, PERFECT. It was small and manueverable but roomy inside, got great gas mileage and not too expensive; it was also pretty attractive, GM bigwigs thought Nova was a natural to play out a big winner in South and Central America.

OOOOPS . . . . Nova was a complete bust. After that, the Japanese totally dominated the new car market south of the Rio Grande. Indeed, it was much worse than a bust, it was the laughing stock of Latin America. Why? Consider this, if the Japanese instead of Toyota and Honda had tried to sell Americans a car called “Doesnotgo” would you buy it? Any first year Spanish student in high school should know that “No va” means exactly that, “Won’t run.” That was a costly mistake, one of many that GM made that brought them to their present situation, a mistake built upon gross ignorance. So now our ignorance of Muslim culture may very soon leave us oil-less. NICE!
In a nutshell, here’s the background . . . People who know their Bible, know that the Arabic peoples sprang famously from the loins of Ishmael. Muslims, most Jews and almost all Christians all agree that Ishmael was the first-Arab and the firstborn son of the Jewish prophet Abraham (specifically, the child of Abraham’s wife Sara’s handmaiden, who was named Hagar). As far as is known, Ishmael was the first deliberately circumcized Arab in history. Ishmael is credited in Genesis with living 137 years, hmmmm, giving him lots of time to be fruitful and multiply. After those few factoids, Arabs and Jews have agreed on little else. According to the B’hai faith it was Ishmael and not Abram’s second son Isaac (from Sara) who was almost sacrificed by Abram before his name was changed to Abraham. One of many disagreements.
Ishmael was also the first Prophet of the Muslim tradition, according to the Koran, and all things began with Ishmael. However, the greatest Arab according to Muslim history sprang up roughly 2,300 years later: their Prophet Mohammed. Blending the early Christian and Jewish traditions and oral and written histories (the Bible and Torah) Mohammed, like Christ, is reported to have had direct divine contact and frequent revelations from God. In any case his new religion, Islam, swept the world more quickly than any religion in history. The word “Islam” means “complete surrender to God.” It came to dominate not only the Middle East and much of the Far East including much of India and Indonesia, but much of South Eastern Europe, all of Northern Africa and all of the Iberian Penninsula (Spain and Portugal) by 711 A.D. and reached into France before being stopped by defeat to the Frank King Charles Martell in 732 A.D. which is why the Holy Roman Empire came to be and Iberian history is so different from the rest of Europe and why Spain and Portugal were so advanced while Europe was undergoing its Dark Ages.
Those early Muslims, Moors or Saracens, whatever you wanted to call them, were among the most enlightened and tolerant people in World History, their list of technical advancess and advancements in learning were impressive to say the least. Famous Muslim gifts to Europe include chess, the windmill, trigonometry, wine, the Arabian horse, etc. Religious freedom was universal. Great architectural advances, the zero in number theory came to Europe through them as did algebra and most astronomical advances (these advances stopped at the Pyrenees where the Holy Roman Empire began). It was the most glorious religious accomplishment of all time according to Muslim teaching . . . objectively, they may well be correct.
All Muslims do not agree on how Mohammed died . . . some reports have a headache with death following three days later. But according to one account, the roots of the festering war (which Americans have never heard about) that we’re about to discover occurred roughly a century before Charles Martell’s victory . . . at a lamb and goat dinner in 629 A.D. where the Prophet Mohammed was guest of honor. According to some, he took just one bite of the main course and immediately spit it out, but it was too late. He was poisoned and soon died. He was buried nearby and an empty tomb was placed next to his, for the prophet Jesus, according to Muslim tradition.
But there was this questionable business . . . murder most foul by poisoning, and no one knew or knows who did it. More importantly, in the wake of their prophet’s death, no one knew who should take over and that is the root of many problems we’re seeing today. In the Arabian Peninsula since that day, Muslims have been killing Muslims over that argument ever since. The very first recorded Muslim intolerance and the only recorded Muslim intolerance for centuries was Muslims at each other’s throats.
This disagreement has lasted over thirteen and a half centuries. Sunni Muslims such as the late Saddam Hussein today control Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and many other Middle Eastern countries. Shia Muslims now run Iraq (thanks to U.S. involvement) as well as Lebanon and Syria and most infamously Iran under the vocal nuke-seeking Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Iran, once known as “Persia,” was at one time the greatest empire existing in the world and remembering their glorious history, Iranians chafe at the outrages heaped upon Iran by the hated Sunnis.
The Sunni are the controllers of most of the countries in the Middle East. And the Sunnis are Iran’s most hated rivals. While it’s true, you cannot be a Middle East Muslim without hating Israel . . . but in Shia Muslim eyes the controlling Sunni’s policies of intolerance and torture toward Shia Muslims has created huge amounts of bitterness across the region. For centuries the Shia have been the heavily oppressed underclass citizens in Arabia. In fact, no one knows how many Shia there are because most of the dictators don’t choose to count them during census. Unlike the original Muslim tolerance for religious freedom . . . Sunni schools teach that Shia are not really Islamic people. They’re never given government representation. They can’t marry Sunnis. They can’t testify in trials in the high courts and can’t become judges. They are third-class citizens and frequently locked up, tortured and at a minimum arrested and hassled any time a powerful Sunni feels like it. Sunni schools are institutions conveying religious hatred toward the Shia. Shia Muslims often are also taught to hate their Sunni leaders from birth. Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a Shia, wants his nukes for Israel, perhaps, but for Sunnis as well. The region is a lit powder keg and Iran is already the #1 exporter of terror. They’ve kept a Shia revolution in Yemen going for over a decade. They’ve sponsored terrorism in Saudi Arabia; in Iraq; in Afghanistan; the list continues to expand.
While all this is going on, Barack Obama is keeping a tight lid on American oil and has done nothing to quash Iran’s nuke program . . . go figure. One truth is not deniable, all this heating up of intra-Muslim conflict cannot be good for oil supplies, oil prices, or oil-dependent America. So until Washington produces a solar car, Americans may find themselves up the infamous creek without a means of locomotion.

Darwin was (Plenty) Wrong, while Lamarck’s now Resurrected,
"Faith Healing" and What that Means to You

It is a well-known LIE common among the simple-minded that so-called "soft sciences" like sociology, psychology, human-goal attainment, etc. are subject to far greater change than that taking place in the hard sciences. The soft-sciences have long been considered ever-shifting ground compared to “hard science” explanations of how the world works. Of course, that's totally bogus, a lot more change takes place in the hard sciences a lot faster.

Till relatively recently, biology and especially genetics, had been considered a semi-soft science. There were the experiments of Gregor Mendel pubished in 1866; and before that there was Darwin’s book “The Origin of the Species published in 1859, the year before Lincoln’s election and little else had changed. Darwin’s ideas were considered more troubling because they dealt with life capable of movement (animals and apes and men); but Mendel’s was actually relatively hard science that could be replicated by observers. Darwin’s “Natural Selection” (largely sexual selection) misnamed by the press as “Survival of the Fittest” was, after all, only a theory.

In fact, however, biologic theory has also galloped apace. There came in the late 19th and early 20th century discovery of chromosomes and genes and much later DNA. Today biology is considered a much harder science and genetics (with the publishing of the human genome) is by most of the great unwashed all wrapped up into a neat little package called “bio-tech” which definitely sounds like a hard, hard science to the point of virtually being an industrial art so that the term “designer genes” has become much more than a play on words. Rajjpuut, to that says, slow down, Pilgrim, slow down.

It turns out today, however, that in many respects biology, as a hard science, is going back to the drawing board. For one thing, Charles Darwin in his later writings said that he regretted having given nature (meaning “genetics” -- the word genetics didn’t exist in his time) too much credit and to have sorely underestimated the effects of nurture and the environment in shaping life. Wow, the misnomer term “survival of the fittest” in popular thinking certainly sounds like a “struggle,” a battle just to live and then above that a struggle to ensure survival by living long enough and fighting hard enough to overcome others in unrelenting battle and viola! to mate . . . and yet the great Darwin is saying, "I didn’t give the environment enough credit." Think on that, if you want to disappear down Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole . . . the fittest by genetics isn't necessarily the fittest overall and nurturing "group dynamics" and nature itself play a greater role . . . Rajjpuut has often insisted the greater truth might be "Survival of the Luckiest," surely Darwin didn't mean that?

As it turns out from the more recent ideas placed into mathematical form by a scientist named John Nash (Nobel Prize Winner and the subject of the movie “A Beautiful Mind”) now-a-days extrapolated into biology and even evolutionary theory, cooperation (including nurturing) seems to be every bit as important to survival and reproduction of the individual and the group as fierce competition does. Survival of the most blessed? Most beloved?

And then there is the amazing fact that the scientists (virtually all of them men until the last fifty years) did what women are often accusing men of doing: they thought (figuratively) with their gonads and not with their brains. Or, more precisely, they put the center of control (and dare Rajjpuut say, “intelligence”) in a living cell (the smallest indivisible unit of life itself) in the cell nucleus. As it turns out, that idea from our high school biology classes is totally wrong: the center of cell intelligence is their external membranes where they interact with the world and the cell’s nucleic areas are actually predictably enough “the gonads” of the cell.

More importantly, for the thinking populace, knowing about all these recent changes in the field of biology, we can now examine a little idea published in 1867 which was nothing more or less than highly emphasized “survival of the fittest” extrapolated onto the societies of man himself in a poorly conceived book published in 1867 “Das Kapital” subtitled “a critique of political economics” by Karl Marx with large chunks of editing by Friedrich Engels. Marx said specifically, he intended to make a science of understanding human economy as related to politics and to reveal to the world an understanding of the evolution of political-economic life forms. He began at what he called the “cell” level and worked his way continually broader from there until he was talking about the “struggle for existence” between capital and labor (the business owner and the worker). Marx postulated a survival of the fittest occuring between economic-political systems across the broad sweep of history all around the world, never ceasing. He raked capitalism over the coals and talked about the benefits of socialism which would definitely outlast and defeat capitalism and eventually the final triumphant result of all these political-economic systems battling away over time: tah, dah! creation of the communist utopia where “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need” had replaced the barbaric animal exploitation and battling which Marx claimed was the fundamental fact propping up all capitalism.

Marx, of course, never paused to see all the co-operation necessary for capitalist entities to grow and prosper, the subject of this brief and poignant essay . . . .

http://www.econlib.org/library/Essays/rdPncl1.html

And the enablers of Marx throughout modern history, the Keynesian economists who advocate inflation as a most useful tool for governments (actually, it turns out, only for totalitatian governments) also have overlooked tranquility and cooperation in their understanding of the world of real micro- and real macro-economics . . . put even more briefly . . . .

http://jim.com/econ/chap01p1.html

http://jim.com/econ/chap02p1.html

And summed up into a whole consistent theory here:

http://jim.com/econ/

Returning from Marxism based upon the ill-conceived "survival of the fittest" notions, it now appears that strange Frenchman our high school teachers used as a strawman in postulating the FACT of EVOLUTION based upon Darwin’s work, Jean-Baptiste Lamarck was possibly much more right than Darwin was and he was right almost sixty years before Darwin’s book. His speech of May 11, 1800, at the Paris Natural History Museum set forth Lamarck’s theory of evolution which was every bit as systematic as Darwin’s was but earlier and included soft-evolution as part of the process. When we were kids, the biology profs made fun of Lamarck saying that according to him if you cut off the tails of two mice and bred them . . . of course their offspring would NOT be tailless so Lamarck was an utter fool . . . and continuing on with a lot of such nonsense that, naturally, a close reading of Lamarck shows he never said or meant. Lamarck, like Darwin, made mistakes but he was first, and today's up to the minute science may actually be proving, he was actually better.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Baptiste_Lamarck

Lamarck, coming much earlier than Darwin and living in mostly religiously-orthodox France rather than more worldly Britain as Darwin did, was the object of much hate and derision. Despite all this he stuck by his guns and remained true to evolution. Lamarck stressed two main themes in his biological theories. First, it was the environment which gives rise to changes in animals. He cited examples of blindness in moles, the presence of teeth in mammals and the absence of teeth in birds as evidence of this principle. Secondly, life is structured in an orderly manner and that many different parts of all bodies make it possible for the organic movements of animals. Thirdly, the whole process is the result most usually of great, great amounts of time. Although he was not the first thinker to advocate organic evolution, he was the first to develop a truly coherent evolutionary theory. He outlined these theories regarding evolution first in his Floreal lecture of 1800, and then in three later published works:

  • Recherches sur l'organisation des corps vivants, 1802.

It now appears that Lamarck was largely correct, that the environment (as Darwin said in the last years of his life -- and which obviously includes nurturing) is a much more prominent cause of evolution than recent thinking led us to believe; and that Darwin was wrong about the role of savage competition as the single largest driving force in shaping evolution, to wit cooperation within a group and even cooperation within the environs themselves play a much greater role than Darwin might ever have conceived. And for those of you who read our first link above (the little "I, Pencil" essay) it definitely appears that Marx totally missed the boat, basing his ideas upon Darwin’s faulty model of evolution and the faulty term “survival of the fittest,” he created a winner-take all model in which only the ends mattered, the end totally justified the dialectical-materialism to come. That is the world that Barack Obama was raised in, courtesy of his mother Stanley Ann Dunham and his grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham, and his birth-father Barak without a 'c' Hussein Obama, Sr. and that world view (where the glorious state can seriously consider 100% taxes**) is finally and inalterably proven wrong here and now.

For more on the biological background in a format accessible to the layman: try (Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D.’s book “The Biology of Belief” which received “The Best Science Book of 2006” award, one of several stimulating works tying cooperative evolution, quantum-physics and psychology together. In a certain sense, we have returned to square one: “it is done unto us, in accordance with our faith.” Of course, now it’s possible to say that faith has a scientific explanation . . . and that evolution is no longer a theory, but a provable fact and they're both part of God’s Design. And, yes, there is clear scientific evidence of the power of faith healing, placebos, and medical miracles of the sort that certainly until now were not considered "hard science." It's all akin to the History Channel showing from translators that the term "Red Sea" was a mis-translation and that it just meant a big river of the time and then going to the river in question and finding tons of ancient military artifacts such as chariots and shields and swords and finding out about an earthquake that took place at the time. Where does faith leave off and science begin? Why not enjoy both? What an amazing world we live in!

In Elaborate TARP Funds Shuffle

GM Ads Claim Bailout "Paid Off"

A top Senate Republican is angry with the Obama administration for not refuting General Motor’s recent claim to having paid off its bailout five years ahead of schedule. Vice President Joe Biden immediately chimed in that GM’s effort was “a great accomplishment” as soon as the ads began running. And so far no one from the adminstration has admitted that GM is putting a hoax over on the taxpayeers. Once proud General Motors now finds itself in boiling hot water over a blatantly false advertisment featuring GM Chairman and CEO Ed Whiteacre claiming the troubled car company has “repaid” its bailout from the taxpayers “in full.” The Federal Trade Commission quickly moved to investigate the claim all the while Republicans on Capital Hill were going bonkers over the clearly murky statements. The Obama administration has not responded to charges that GM was falsifying advertising in order to gain unwaranted trust from consumers while government watchdogs say that the automaker may have “technically paid off the bailout money by dipping into a separate pot of bailout funds the equivalent of a slush fund which also came from the U.S. Taxpayers. “Truth in advertising” laws prohibit commercials which are “likely to mislead consumers.”
Supposedly “too big to fail,” GM’s TV spot irritated viewers with common sense. The former auto-giant since the bailout has shown very little profit, how was this possible? "We have repaid our government loans in full — with interest — five years ahead of the original schedule," said Whitacre in the ad, while asking Americans to give the bankrupt company “another look.” Top senate Republican Chuck Grassley of Iowa said GM was misleading taxpayers by using a special escrow account to repay the loan. His charge was backed up by TARP inspector general Neil Barofsky who told Fox News as well as the senate finance committee that Grassley was correct, GM used bailout money to pay back the federal government. Grassley described the whole thing as “nothing more than an elaborate TARP money shuffling.”
Not only is all the TARP money NOT paid off by GM, but the company is not Whitacre’s company anyway. 61% is owned by the U.S. Government and 12% is owned by the Canadian Government and GM is definitely NOT yet solvent, still racked by debt and so far unable to turn a profit (and hasn’t done so since 2004) GM received a $52 infusion of money from the federal government in 2009. Grassley, meanwhile has written a letter with his findings to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and asked for more information about why the company was allowed to use bailout money to repay bailout money and how much of the remaining escrow funds GM would be allowed to keep. Since GM received the equivalent of over $14,000 per automobile in bailout funds, how it can keep from turning a profit is beyond Rajjpuut’s simple power to add or detract. Rest assured, however, no actual profit was made and no actual GM money was used in “paying off the bailout.” In fact, Rajjpuut, is betting that Chrysler, who received a bailout simultaneously with GM is no where nearer to solvency than it was a year ago and GM's solvency is still very much up in the air. Stupidity like Whitacre's little charlatan ad stunt is surely not going to be earning any consumer confidence for GM in the near future and Rajjpuut expects him to be handed his hat within a month.
