As part of their dogma, the Left believes society only operates “fairly” when more power is concentrated in the Federal Government and fewer rights are exercised independently by individuals. In their view, one of the major purposes of the Government is to equalize outcomes across society (try to find that in the Constitution). Note that it’s the equality of outcomes, not equality of opportunities, that is their definition of fairness. To achieve that goal, Liberals need an excuse to take rights and responsibilities from individuals and shift that power to the Government. Then that Governmental power can be used to institutionalize fairness by passing laws and regulations that provide for the equality of outcomes across society. However in spite of these plans, the Left has a major cultural roadblock in their way. One of our traditional American values is to treasure and defend our individual rights. When Americans are thinking rationally, we rarely, if ever, voluntarily give up any of our rights.

 

When the Liberals want to influence American opinion on an issue, they need to overcome that obstacle. To do so, they use a consistent formula to warp the public perception in their favor. Their approach does not involve an in-depth analysis of the facts with the subsequent generation of possible alternatives to be evaluated. Frankly facts get in their way. Their strategy is simply based on manipulating the public’s emotions. Liberals want to generate guilty feelings or stir up hate or trigger rage. Their tactic is to generate strong emotions in the public and with those emotions shut down rational thought. Create a crisis. Create an injustice. What Obama Gains

from Multi-State Bankruptcy

  

            If ugly truth is worse to you than lovely myth, go read someone else’s blog, I won’t myth you.   Most Americans are woefully ignorant of their foundations and the great vision of the Founding Fathers.  Over the years the progressive minority has attacked those foundations and the Founding Fathers incessantly and used that ignorance against us as they seek to destroy our Republic and replace it with a communist state. Progressivism, after all, is a desire to “progress” beyond the “ill-conceived and outdated” American Constitution in order to achieve progress toward a progressive-socialist (Marxist?) utopia on earth.

            Barack Obama believes that American Exceptionalism doesn’t exist and never actually existed. Most Americans feel there’s something definitely wrong with the President’s approach to things, but find it difficult to point a finger at exactly what’s not right. Let me give you a clue. The word “democracy” that he and others bandy about so pointedly is meaningless

Yes, our American Republic employs democratic means to select Representatives and Senators and semi-Democratic means to choose our president (the Founding Fathers put the electoral college into the mix for a damn good reason). But Democracy is not all that it’s cracked up to be . . . 

         A.  Justice and Freedom count; democracy can be misused and often is and doesn't matter
        
         B. There is always the possibility of “tyranny of the masses” in any democracy   
         C. 
Democracy among ignorant folks has happened often in history and the resulting mob rule has never been pretty
         D.  Words are one thing, reality is generally another.  The Peoples' Democratic Republic of China is not for the people; not a Democracy; and certainly not a Republic.  They mow protestors down in the streets. 
         E.  Democracy among savages amounts to nothing more than Thugocracy and often Theo-Thugocracy.  

            Right now there is great talk of democracy in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, Yemen and Bahrain all Islamic countries.  The chances they will degenerate into theocracies like Iran are excellent.  And Iran is definitely a Theo-Thugocracy. In a recent survey in Egypt a week before Dictator Mubarak was ousted, 85% of those surveyed approved of Shariah (strict Islamic code) “Justice” and Shariah Law. That is, 85% of the Egyptians think stoning people to death for not being a good Muslim; for adultery; for teaching other religions; believe that raped women must have four male witnesses to back up their case; think thieves should lose their hands; and see public lashing as fit punishment for women failing to cover themselves properly from head to foot . . . how much is democracy worth among such savage people? 

Democracy is certainly over-rated. Here in America, we have a Republic and the most successful republic in history and American Exceptionalism is alive and well, but severely threatened by Mr. Obama and his cohorts. The most Republican documents in our nation are: Paine’s Common Sense; the Declaration of Independence; The Constitution of the United States; The Bill of Rights added to the U.S. Constitution; and recently two more have been added  . . . The TEA Party’s “Contract from America;” and the Republican Party’s Pledge to America.   Perhaps two or three American in every 1,000 have read all six of these documents: a great pity that so many are so willfully ignorant. Here are some brief excerpts to serve as background before we get to the meat of this discussion with links to the whole documents provided so that the ignorant folk you know might be educated:

The Contract from America

      Require each bill to identify the specific provision of the Constitution that gives Congress the power to do what the bill does. (82.03%)    From the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party Contract from America in which Americans voted on their top ten issues and resolutions from among 24 key proposals. In the case of this #1 “plank” 82.03% of respondents thought that it was vital and it became the #1 issue for the TEA Party.

                So, the question naturally becomes, “Besides Obama’s attacks upon American Exceptionalism and his utterly weak foreign policy, what exactly is it that Barack Obama, the progressives of both parties, the Democratic hierarchy and the union leadership are doing that threatens to destroy the American Republic? We could write whole volumes . . . .  

               Three main things come to mind:  1) Undermining the American Dollar and preparing its elimination as the world’s reserve currency right now thanks to Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Banks’ unrestrained money-printing, theoretically the 2011 dollar is worth about 3.2 pennies from the late 2008 dollar 2) Bankrupting the federal government with trillion dollar deficits and refusing to aim for a balanced budget and reduction of runaway federal spending and 3) Setting up multi-state bankruptcy so that the individual states (re-

read the 10th Amendment above) will be made so weak and so totally dependent upon the federal government that all power will reside in Washington, D.C. and the federal government will run the life of the country totally and completely with the states no more than weak agencies of the federal government. 

               One of the overlooked aspects of Obamacare is that it mandates state takeover of much of the present federal side of Medicaid and of a great share of Medicare to pay for Obamacare. These provisions would bankrupt all 50 of the states sometime between 2022 and 2026.  

              The main reason that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats did not pass a fiscal-2011 budget is that they had hidden $105 Billion in set-up fees (unconstitutionally hidden in Obamacare’s 2,900 pages. That is, they illegally took away all power from future congresses to control Obamacare and to save the states from financial ruin. If they’d passed a budget that $105 Billion would have stood out as stark evidence of their malfeasance. That final copy of the 2,900 page bill was given to the House to vote on just two hours before the vote. At that last minute, a cave-in by so-called anti-abortion Democrats led by Michigan’s Bart Stupak passed the bill (on receipt of a one-page promise from Barack Obama that no federally funded abortions would ever be part of Obamacare – so far over 200,000 have been paid for under Obamacare) with every Republican and 32 Democrats voting against it.

              Barack Obama wants to nullify the power of the states and the power of the individual citizens guaranteed by the 10th Amendment and his and the Union leadership's assault on Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan aims to hamstring all the states with government workers unions once and for all.

My wife was seated in the airport waiting to catch her flight back home. So far so good. She was already past security waiting in the gate area. As usual, she was reading a book trying to pass the minutes until it was time to board. My wife can be as entertained by people watching as anyone. However if she has a good book, she would rather tune out the world and slip into a well written story, but not today. On this day, she along with everyone else in the gate area were going to have their concentration shattered by a guy on his cell phone. For sake of discussion, let’s call him Barry. Barry had a pretty deep voice, and he was talking loud.

 

It didn’t matter if you had on headphones, wore hearing aids or were half-deaf, you could hear Barry. His baritone voice blasted through the atmosphere at the gate such that everyone could hear every word he was saying. It became very clear, very quickly he was trying his best to get out of the dog house. It was obvious from his side of the conversation that Barry was in deep TROUBLE. He was in trouble with his girlfriend Liberty, and she was really ticked off. You couldn’t hear her side of the conversation, but it definitely was NOT PG-13. Barry was doing his best to convince his girlfriend over the phone that he wasn’t doing anything wrong. She wasn’t buying it.

           Two huge secrets and loads of corruption have now been revealed for all thinking American voters and taxpayers to cogitate upon: 
 
1.                  Why did Nancy Pelosi and the house Democrats NOT pass a budget for Fiscal Year 2011?
2.                 What exactly was Nancy Pelosi talking about in Mid-March, 2010?
 
            Speaking about Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi told us “We’re just going to have to pass this bill so people can find out what’s in it.” According to information recently revealed in a report by Congressional researchers to Minnesota Republican Representative Michelle Bachman, “what’s in it” . . .  is loads of UNconstitutional features designed to STEAL your money and mine.   The Heritage Foundation and Congressional Republicans combing through Obamacare to get the fundamental knowledge to pass an honest and accurate budget for 2011 (albeit six months late) stumbled upon a cesspool full of corruption expertly hidden within the law . . . how did this happen?
 
ITEM: The final copy of the 2,900+ page Obamacare was in the hands of the voting representatives less than two hours before the vote . . . totally contrary to the rule of law as well as common sense, fiscal responsibility, and statesmanship.  Not a single Republican voted for the bill; 31 Democrats joined them in opposing Obamacare . . . obviously, it was impossible for any of them to have read and fully understood what they were voting on, so the only sensible and honest vote under those conditions was a "NAY!"
 
ITEM: The final copy included material pounded out by Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and officials from the Obama Administration that no one except them and the progressive SEIU and several progressive foundations and their lawyers (who actually constructed the bill) had read before . . . again, . . . totally contrary to the rule of law as well as common sense, fiscal responsibility, and statesmanship.
 
ITEM: Even the passage of the monstrous Senate version of the bill almost three months earlier was accomplished under shady circumstances:   late on Christmas Eve of 2009 as if it were some great emergency law needed to stave off catastrophe rather than in ordinary fashion for a law that wouldn’t be implemented fully for eight and a half years . . . once more with emphasis . . . totally contrary to the rule of law as well as common sense, fiscal responsibility, and statesmanship.
 
ITEM: In section 402 Health and Human Services Director Kathleen Sibelius was given a $16 Billion slush fund to use as she sees fit within the health care field. UNconstitutional!  But Kathleen was part of another fraudulent action as well . . . .
 
ITEM: In section 1311A Sibelius was also given as many blank checks as she wishes, for as much as she wishes (“slushus fundus godzillus”) to enable the White House to make loans and grants to individual states having problems with implementation (California, for example would have problems). UNconstitutional to the max!
 
ITEM: The first eight years of Obamacare establishment costs have been pre-funded removing all control of the funding for establishment and implementation from the congresses that would follow and putting it all under the responsibility of Obama, Pelosi and Reid at that one sick moment in time Mid-March, 2010. UNconstitutional!  Never in the history of the republic has such a bill been passed tying the hands of future lawmakers and budgeters . . . .
 
ITEM: $105, 464,000,000 of pre-funding for Obamacare was included in the bill . . . effectively by-passing the right and ability of future Congresses to control the purse strings. Like voting once and giving us bad laws like Prohibition or allowing Slavery in certain states forever. UNconstitutional!
 
 
            So what’s going on here? Barack, Nancy, and Harry have stolen $105.464 Billion from the American taxpayers and usurped the constitutionally separated rights of the present and future congresses to control the purse strings of the country as the Constitution provides. While there have been greater usurpations of power by a president . . . Teddy Roosevelt just taking the land for the Panama Canal from Colombia comes to mind . . . the shared guilt of Reid, Obama and Pelosi has to be viewed as among the most totally arrogant acts by a single party in the country’s history. The Republican Party now has the full moral right and obligation to demand a) all the money back b) all the slush funds closed c) all 2,900+ pages of Obamacare be repealed d) and full co-operation in balancing the budget for fiscal 2011 which Nancy Pelosi didn’t deign to pass . . . WHY?   Because by not creating a budget, she hoped to hide the revelation of the $105.464 BIllion in UNconstitutionally stolen taxpayer money (and usurping of power from future Congresses) which would have stuck out like a sore and swollen thumb.  Sweet Nancy . . . and as for Barack, we now have clear grounds for impeachment as he was part of the executive branch commandeering the role of the House of Representatives.

“What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick!” And with that shot over the bow at the Republican National Convention, Sarah Palin announced her arrival on to the national political stage. From her position as a relatively unknown Governor of Alaska, Palin launched one of the most exciting Vice Presidential candidacies in U.S. history.

 

From the completion of that speech, even before McCain lost to Obama, there was the question about her aspirations regarding the Presidency. Will Sarah Run? And that question is still outstanding today. Although she hasn’t announced, she’s made several moves to improve her position if she does decide to run. She’s now a frequent commentator on Fox News, has written several books, has had a brief series on cable television on TLC, formed her own Political Action Committee, and most importantly threw her support behind many individuals in their respective state level candidacies. As I mentioned to some friends, due to the amount of money the President is borrowing from the Chinese, Obama is no longer able to refer to the Chinese leader as Hu Jintao. Now Obama is required to call him Hu JaDaddy.  To paraphrase Jay Leno, the bad news is the Chinese Leader came to the White House this week.  The good news is he said we could keep it.

 

However I’m not picking on the Chinese.  I’m opposed to the United States owing that amount of money to anyone.  Let alone a country that crushes dissent in their citizens, imprisons their Noble Prize winners, thinks that America is a temporary aberration in history, and has nuclear weapons pointed at us.    In any debtor relationship, you lose authority and the ability to negotiate from a level playing field.  Anyone who doesn’t think it matters where you borrow money is a fool.   Just ask a person who has ended up in “cement shoes” in the waters off of New Jersey whether it matters. But I digress…

 

Personally, I’m not as concerned about what our debt to China says about them as what is says about us.  The reckless increased spending by the Obama Administration is not primarily being driven by building infrastructure, fighting a war, or funding social security.  Continue...

  Unclothing the Latest Obama Lies

 

 

Item: President Obama wants you to think he stopped the economy from entering Depressionville.

            Background: Democrats ascribe the “lukewarm success” of the President’s $787 Billion stimulus to the fact that it was “way too puny,” but, they say, it saved us from a depression, Hallelujah! And now they’re seeking a much richer round of stimulus for the economy. Notice the weasel word “stimulus” from their mouths is much like the weasel word “investment” Obama unveiled during the State of the Union speech eight days ago . . . let’s substitute the more accurate words “government spending,” OK? 

            Facts: As we make our midterm assessment of his presidency, we must realize that Mr. Obama’s stimulus like all government spending comes at the cost of jobs in the real (non-government) economy. Government spending and government borrowing and government regulations and other government interference all kill real jobs in the real economy.   This is why small government is so vital; government is grossly inefficient at doing any but its legitimate functions.

 

Item: The president likes to peddle two truly great fictions among the dozens of daily lies they put out. The first is that “Our programs have broken the back of the recession.” 

Background: His bureaucracy released a GDP growth rate of 3.4% for the fourth quarter of 2010 using a price deflator that was quite self-serving. The price deflator was 0.3 while the Consumer Price Index rose at 2.6 . . . .

Facts: in layman’s language, what he is calling growth is just higher prices we all face at the pump, at the grocery store and across the board.   If Jimmy Carter had used such lies he would have been bragging about the highest growth the nation has ever known (in 1980 inflation and interest rates both stood at 18%).  

Item: The other great fiction is the “Car in the Ditch” fable that he’s used for two years to deflect responsibility for the economy onto conservatives and the free market and President Bush.

            Background: The Sub-prime lending crisis began in 1977 with Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77). In 1975 only one home loan in 404 was “suspect.” That is roughly 403 of any 404 home mortgages were granted to good risk clients and required virtually always 20% down payment. CRA ’77 forced lenders to knowingly make bad home loans to poor risk clients. After four expansions of CRA ’77 by Bill Clinton (one by regulatory means in 1993; two smaller ones in 1995; and his steroid version in 1998) by 2005 34% of all U.S. home loans were “suspect,” that is, granted at 3% or less (many without any down payment to people without jobs; some without I.D.; without income other than food stamps; many without previous rental history; with terrible credit ratings; and even to illegal aliens). Thanks to the steroid version of CRA ’77 passed by Clinton in 1998, ACORN and other provocateurs (who all used Saul Alinsky tactics for) pushing these unwise loans upon unwilling lenders found it as easy to put bad risk clients into $440,000 homes in 2000 as it had been a decade earlier to put them into $110,000 homes. By the way, working two years as an ACORN attorney, Barack Obama was famous for not only pushing lenders into these bad loans but wheedling “generous” ACORN donations from them as well.

            Facts: George W. Bush saw the progressives including Democrats, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and especially ACORN deliberately pushing the car (the economy) toward a 500-foot ditch and jumped into the front seat grabbing the wheel and slamming on the brakes to guide the car into the nearest friendly-looking ditch.

            We’ll back this incredible statement up by reminding the voters that Bush saw the increasing scope of the sub-prime lending problem in January, 2005, and sought to have the worst aspects of CRA ’77 repealed. His efforts were defeated, nay crushed, by the Democrats. Bush spoke to the nation and congress 18 more times on this subject and sought CRA ’77 repeal each time. Finally, 30 months later enough Dems were alarmed that a diluted version of Bush’s original bill was made into law in July, 2007. This proved too little too late, but it did help some, so much so that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner credited Bush’s action with limiting the impact of the recession and preventing a truly horrific plunge in housing prices. Only one more word needs to be discussed: the word “deliberately” in the italicized paragraph above. This CRA ’77 damage wasn’t all done because of misconstrued “good intentions” by the altruistic progressives in question but was a deliberate attempt by them to manufacture a crisis they could exploit . . . .

            So where does all this leave President Barack Obama? Let us count his most obvious big failures: 1) His stimulus package was a counter-productive disaster*** that made the economy much worse (it jumped from 7.8 to 9.9% unemployment within six months after it went into effect). 2) His financial regulation bill (Dodd-Frank) is choking the life out of the economy that has so harassed small banks that they have stopped loans to small businesses entirely. 3) He appears to be losing Egypt to radical Muslims linked to the infamous Muslim Brotherhood (to learn about their link to 9/11 read Lawrence Wright’s The Looming Towers: Al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11). 4) He and his Fed Chief Ben Bernanke appear to be inflating our money so terribly that there’s a good chance the dollar will cease to be the World’s Reserve Currency and hyper-inflation will result. 5) His god-awful “Affordable Health Care Program” better known as Obamacare (which would have a) bankrupted the individual states because the federal government was shifting virtually all federal side Medicaid funding upon them and b) was destined to become a $2.5 TRillion boondoggle) has now been called entirely UNconstitutional by a federal judge.   And 6) he has put us all ninety giant steps closer to Marxist-Socialism in the process. God, what a great president!

The truth about what is happening to this country! The Democratic Party and the leftists are attempting to roll back the history books. This time they do not care about race, color or creed. They are driving the country down a road that leads to one place. This place is for all of the citizens of this great country. Does anyone remember the word Debt Bondage, otherwise known as indentured servitude? Or, under more common terms Slavery! The enormous amounts of debts that this country is accumulating, and the Political decisions of the Democratic Party, are driving the citizens into slavery.

 We must turn the tide on this agenda immediately. We need to start casting our votes on a daily basis. Every dollar we spend in, or on a business that supports this cause or party is a vote in favor of them. These dollars are going to re-elect the politicians that are supporting this agenda.

 

 I am just one man, but I send this call out to the nation! We must rise up and stay ever vigilant! This is “The Land of the Free and the home of the brave”, but not for long if they have it their way.

“Do-Over King” Barack Obama Profits

from Media-Induced Mental Fog among Voters

 

            Of all the endearing movies featuring and flaunting quirky leading man Bill Murray, two are especially memorable. In the one produced first, he eschewed straight comedy for serious dramatics and,  thanks to some excellent script writing, Murray and Catherine Hicks, James Keach and Theresa Russell easily outdid the sensational 1946 quartet of Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, John Payne and Anne Baxter from the beloved silver screen classic version of The Razor’s Edge. Along the way, the theme from author W. Somerset Maugham’s novel becomes even more phenomenally stark and yet somehow eternally light-hearted and much, much clearer (even though the character “Maugham” himself was written completely out of Murray’s 1984 version). As strong as Murray is in The Razor’s Edge,however, the unforgettable dramatic/comedy vehicle for which Murray will be eternally toasted is 1993’s Groundhog Day . . . .

            This more than bizarre (surreal?) fantasy in which a misanthropic, self-important weatherman Phil Connors relives the same day, February 2nd (the single day of the year he most despises; in the place he most despises Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; during the event he most despises: Groundhog Day Festivities), over and over and over again without hope for reprieve . . . has been embraced by the Buddhist fate and has even entered American slang lexicon as a shorthand term for any miserable, seemingly inescapable recurring fact of life.

            The American Buddhist movement finds the movie a strong allegory for life in general and for their religion more specifically. In real life as it’s lived by we, the non-believers in Buddhist Nirvana, however, Groundhog Day has come to the Oval Office courtesy of the ceaseless Obama-adulation by the mainsteam media (MSM).  Let us adopt Sara Palin’s more accurate “lame-stream media” here for they have made the President appear not, as a cat with nine lives, but rather as a jaguar with 9,000. So far as it is within their power they have created a politician who really can’t fall short on anything. If the president bashes business and the financial industry ceaselessly for two consecutive years he has but to name a Chicago crony who happens to carry some business experience as an advisor and he suddenly becomes magnanimous in his “outreach to the business world.” No matter how great or repetitive his mistakes, let the Great Barack make even the slightest symbolic gesture of reasonableness while posturing for the media and . . . suddenly all his long-standing substantial errors and sins are forgiven, for the Anointed One has given the appearance of statesmanship. 

To say this was “all smoke and mirrors” would be demeaning magicians everywhere. This is rather, all freely-given PR puffery designed to glorify Obama. Consider these nine key areas as impartially as possible:

            The unbiased observer must give the President nine F’s for nine substantial failures. In fact, however, the man’s “Messiah” status is ever-reinforced ever more desperately with each pathetic showing he makes. Consider more closely:

 

JOBS: 17.6% of America’s people are unemployed in real measurement. 9.5% are still looking for jobs and thus still on the labor rolls, the rest have given up; many are substantially UNDERemployed. Obama promised once his $787 BIllion stimulus package was passed in February, 2009, that unemployment would not exceed 8%. In the upcoming State of the Union address he will pretend that the country was on the brink of a Great Depression and only the quick thinking of he and his Democrats was able to save us . . . at no small expense . . . and the MSM will sell that unenlightened viewpoint as Gospel. By the way, if the official “unemployment” statistic is ridiculous, then the Obama “jobs saved” stat is absolute horse pucky.

 

SPENDING: Obama’s sycophant-girl, Nancy Pelosi, has echoed the party line that deficit reduction and reduction of the National Debt has long been a top concern among Democrats and “Deficit Reduction has been our mantra.” Pelosi and the House Democrats last year refused to pass a budget because it would have been the country’s first $5 TRillion budget and required $1.6 TRillion in deficits.  Then there’s the little matter of the $14.1 TRillion National Debt which has increased $5 TRillion under Democratic house leadership which is 56% in four years.  Besides the bailouts and Obama stimulus, Obamacare will increase deficits by $300 Billion yearly while claiming it reduces deficits. The MSM abets Pelosi, Reid and Obama at every turn for their humane and far-thinking new approach.

FOREIGN POLICY: Despite Obama’s “Apology Tour”; repeatedly breaking promises to allies while embracing those who have no love for the United States and orally wish us ill; kowtowing to Eastern potentates and premiers; and doing everything possible to make the nation appear and be weak, weak, weak . . . the MSM has refused to analyze, investigate or seemingly even care about the utterly negative Obama legacy in foreign policy. Did they report in depth on his shabby treatment of Israel? On the weakness toward Iran and Russia implicit in not building the promised missile defense for our eastern European allies?   No, naturally no. But they couldn’t wait to fall all over themselves in slobbering joy proclaiming the START treaty with Russia was not a shameful sell-out but somehow a wonderful coup.

LEADERSHIP: More than anything else, the election of the nation’s first Black president was supposed to usher in a new era of enlightenment in racial matters and tolerance at all levels. Polls on the subject say that relations between the races have gotten worse under our first “post-racial” president. And, up till his recent posturing as a “centrist president” now that the Republicans dominate the House, President Obama led the way by constant race-baiting; and stupid stances like getting involved in the Cambridge arrest in early 2009 that led to his infamous “Beer Summit.” Mr. Obama has also threatened freedom of speech and freedom of the press by his constant attacks upon FoxNews and the TEA Party. Instead of leadership, Obama has constantly whined and called all those who dislike his policies as racists, haters, extremists and stupid. People fifty times as patriotic as the President then were subject to one hundred times the abuse by the MSM and by the most progressive elements of the Democratic Leadership.

 

FAIRNESS, OPENNESS and BI-PARTISANSHIP: Mr. Obama promised to change the culture of Washington and to give us “hope and change we could believe in. He talked about having TV cameras involved so that people could see every aspect of the health care deliberations and like his favorite YES MAN, Harry Reid in the Senate and YES GIRL, Nancy Pelosi in the House, Obama promised to run the most open, honest and accountable administration in history. Instead he’s overseen the most corrupt, closed, dishonest and unaccountable administration since Woodrow Wilson. Just the matter of those 42 non-vetted Obama Czars speaks volumes . . . of course, it would have been impossible to get all those admitted communists and radicals into the White House any other way. The MSM did nothing to hold Obama’s feet to the fire . . . he was given a free pass on all of this. The Van Jones affair was classic MSM. While FoxNews and others were revealing video clips of Jones talking openly about revolution and his communism and his 9/11 Truther activities for two and a half months, the MSM ran a 30 second clip the day after Van Jones “resigned.”

 

THE GULF OIL SPILL: It took the Obama administration six weeks to really get involved and their involvement in the first two weeks thereafter was making speeches about how they’d been on the ground dealing with the issue since the first few hours it was known about. Then, like all leftists, Obama made a horrible situation worse . . . first his EPA would not allow the building of sand berms and other defenses against the spill (because they might harm the environment); and then he cost the nation loads of oil and the Gulf loads of jobs with his six month moratorium on drilling which is now nearing nine months and which is projected to last 2.5 years. The MSM hardly covered these important matters but found a patsy in the BP President and made Mr. Obama into a hero, as usual.  Will they love him as much when gasoline is $4.50 per gallon?

 

GIBs and GSBs (OBAMACARE in particular): Like the oil spill made worse by government involvement, GIBs and GSBs (Government interference and government spending boondoggles) are the utter limits of arrogance with the federal government showing they know best and in the process taking over more of American life and making it worse. In the case of Obamacare the lies involved are incredible, and of course the MSM will not deal with them or expose them to the public. Mr. Obama personally pledged that zero federal dollars would be used to fund abortions under Obamacare but we found out in the first week that the program went into operation that abortions were routinely covered by Obamacare. They added money to other programs in two other bills (Medicare and Medicaid) so they could show the Congressional Budget Office false numbers that would make Obamacare look like it would lower the deficit when in truth the big picture is that 30 million people are added to the program at a far greater expense than the private sector would have caused and the program is another entitlement GSB, GIB that will dramatically ramp up the National Debt and the yearly deficits. In addition we have stimulus funds that only stimulated the pocketbooks for Obama supporters and created no new jobs; the laughable “Cars for Clunkers” which claimed that destroying perfectly good cars would jumpstart the economy (all it did was create a massive shortage of used cars and drive the price of the typical used car upward by $1,800); the AIG and auto bailouts; the takeover not only of health care but of the financial industry, the student loan industry, and now the beginning of the coal industry. And the MSM has been applauding every step of the way.

 

BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS: Mr. Obama spent the first two years of his administration feathering the cap of the unions and taking every possible opportunity to bash business, business people, finance, financial people, capitalists and conservatives all the while imposing all manner of extra bureaucracy and expense upon the free markets . . . MSM cheering every step of the way. Now as he makes cozy to enhance his 2012 presidential bid, little is made of his hypocrisy.

 

KEEPING PROMISES: From Guantanamo Bay to Afghanistan and all the promises mentioned above . . . President Obama has made a splendid career of promising out of one side of his mouth and alibi-ing out of the other. It’s likely that Barack Obama will at the end of the day (as a one-term president) actually only keep two promises, both made in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle on the 2008 campaign trail:

a.      To bankrupt the coal industry

b.     To make the price of electricity skyrocket

Actually, that’s only one promise since 52% of our electricity comes from coal . . .

     Of course, the MSM gives Mr. Obama free rein to do as he pleases and enthusiastically supported him in 2008 and will support him in 2012. Call them “mulligans,” “do-overs” or Groundhog Day . . . the tremendous leeway that Obama has received from the MSM amounts to about 25 times the tolerance given to his predecessor and about 30 times what they’ve allotted to the TEA Party . . . .

            It’s not been a good week for Obamacare, by any measure:  

A) Today the U.S. House of Representatives voted 245-189 to repeal the law (a far larger margin then originally passed it). The fact that only three Democrats voted to repeal the law shows the tremendous sway that Nancy Pelosi still holds B) Two Rasmussen Reports surveys meanwhile showed that 75% of American voters want changes to Obamacare; and
 
C) 56% of voters actually want it repealed, while
 
D) six more states (Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Ohio, Wisconsin and Wyoming) joined a suit claiming the law is unconstitutional. This brings to twenty-sex, the number of states involved in the lawsuit originally begun by Florida. The other nineteen states that are suing are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington.            

            All six of the new states joining the law suits have Republican Attorney Generals, but the action in the House was, at least, somewhat bi-partisan as three Democrats joined the unanimous Republican voting ranks against Pelosi and the health care “reform” bill. With the new additions, over half the country’s states are now opposing the law.  "It sends a strong message that more than half of the states consider the health care law unconstitutional and are willing to fight it in court," Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement.

The states claim the health care law is unconstitutional and violates people's rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties. Government attorneys have said the states do not have standing to challenge the law and want the case dismissed.

Lawsuits have been filed elsewhere. A federal judge in Virginia ruled in December that the insurance-purchase mandate provision was unconstitutional, although two other federal judges have upheld the requirement.   It’s widely believed the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately have to resolve the issue.

Meanwhile, at the White House, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs dismissed attaching any importance to the vote repealing the law, saying the Republican effort was “not a serious legislative” push. Democrats have a majority in the Senate and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said his party would block repeal in that chamber; and will not allow the bill to even reach the Senate floor if he has his way.

In the Florida case, the states also argue the federal government is violating the Constitution by forcing a mandate on the states without providing money to pay for it. They say the new law gives the state's the impossible choice of accepting the new costs or forfeiting federal Medicaid funding.  By 2024 at the latest, the new Obamacare requirements for the state side of Medicaid are potentially expected to bankrupt almost all the fifty states. As a side note: Unfunded liabilities of $112 TRillion in Social Security, Medicare, and the federal side of Medicaid amount to more than double the gross national product of the entire world. These three entitlement programs and the new Obamacare entitlement appear nationally and for the states to be ticking time bombs . . . .

Florida U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson is expected to rule later this month whether he will grant a summary judgment in favor of the states or the Obama administration without a trial. Former Florida Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum filed the lawsuit within seconds after President Barack Obama signed the 10-year, $938 billion health care bill into law in March. He chose a court in Pensacola, one of Florida's most conservative cities.  The nation's most influential small business lobby, the National Federation of Independent Business, also joined the suit saying that the law’s costs and paperwork would make small business ownership a losing proposition. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has made similar assessments about Obamacare. A recent analysis showed that where before there stood only the patient and his/her doctor . . . 1,968 bureaucrats have now entered the relationship courtesy of Obamacare.

Rasmussen: Only 26% Say

Nation is on the Right Track
 

 

            A recent Rasmussen Reports survey shows only 26% of Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction while 68% of us believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Broken down by party sympathies: 43% of Democrats; 73% of Independents: and 88% of Republicans believe the country is headed the wrong way.  Only 48% of Democrats believe the country is moving in the right direction. Black voters are the only large bloc saying the country is on the right track with 52% agreeing; meanwhile 72% of Whites; and 75% of voters from groups not Black or White say the country is moving in the wrong direction. Here are a few areas of discontent:

ITEM: Rasmussen also showed that 75% want the Obamacare health care law changed at a minimum and 60% believe that it will cost much more than we’ve been told and increase the federal deficit. 55% say it must be repealed.

ITEM: 61% of voters say that Congress (U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate combined), no matter how bad things are, can always make things worse.

ITEM: Today the Environmental Protection Agency moved to keep one of President Obama’s more dubious promises. The EPA in moving toward closing down a West Virginia coal mine seems hell-bent upon confirming a statement that Obama made to the San Francisco Chronicle during Election 2008, “My energy and cap and trade policies won’t prevent you from building a coal mine, but you’ll go bankrupt if you do.” In the same interview, then Senator Obama, said, “My energy policies will necessarily make electricity prices skyrocket.” U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat who’s been pushing for jobs and economic growth was among the first to protest this ridiculous action.

ITEM: The U.S. labor Department is awarding hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and scholarships to fill scarce green jobs.   Despite the fact that no great number, if any, vacancies exist in green jobs across the nation numerous universities and specialized vocational schools are seeking grants of government cash to provide graduates for non-existent or scarce green jobs and the Labor Dept. is giving out the money in keeping with President Obama’s pledge to create five million green jobs. As mentioned earlier, based upon an economic study of the reasons that Spain went from the strongest economy in Europe in 1997 to one of the worst today (4% unemployment to 20.8% unemployed now) subsidies creating five million green jobs here will put eleven million jobs at risk in the real American economy and only 500,000 (10% of those jobs will prove permanent).

ITEM: The EPA is moving by government regulatory edict to force business closedowns for high carbon dioxide emissions having named CO2 a “toxic emission.” The same justification could allow the EPA to kill off all animals and humans as toxic emitters. Of course CO2 is necessary for plant life and plants create the oxygen we need.

ITEM: George Soros, who is right now seeking to destroy the American Dollar (Yes, he declared it openly; it won’t take much, George) after becoming a multi-billionaire by destroying four other currencies including the Russian Ruble and profiting from the meltdowns of seven others (George is known as “The man who broke the Bank of England”) has his CAP (Center for American Progress) providing financial support in the drive to expand California’s Paid Family Leave Law by imposing an increase of 1.2% on payroll taxes so that fathers and mothers will have even more time to bond with their newborns.

ITEM: While the federal government is going bankrupt and the state governments are likewise under huge pressure courtesy of huge union employee pensions and salaries. President Obama moved to freeze federal salaries (when it looks like budget cuts of 15% will be demanded in virtually all other areas of the budget?).

ITEM: The president of one of Ben Bernanke’s federal reserve banks, Charles Plosser, abhors Ben Bernanke's dramatic intervention policies toward the economy. Plosser, President of the Philadelphia federal reserve bank said, "Monetary policy cannot reverse the sharp decline in house prices when the economy has significantly over-invested in housing."  Plossser went on, "I have advocated the elimination of Section 13(3) of the Federal Reserve Act, which allowed the Fed to lend directly to 'corporations, partnerships and individuals' under 'unusual and exigent circumstances.” Plosser also said, “We are in danger of assigning to monetary policy a larger role than it can perform, in danger of asking it to accomplish tasks that it cannot achieve, and, as a result, in danger of preventing it from making the contribution that it is capable of making.”

ITEM: Coming soon to a town near you? Just about the worst housing market in the country is found in Nevada. The absolute worst housing market in Nevada is in and around Las Vegas . . . so, guess what? Las Vegas construction companies are building homes like crazy. What, the??? Yes, it’s true. Apparently, because so many Las Vegas homes and especially new homes have stayed empty for so long . . . new home buyers in Las Vegas don’t want to move into the virtual ghost towns infested with mice and rats and other vermin . . . so the only course of action seems to be to build in whole new areas (and eventually bulldoze the empty “ghost towns?”).

ITEM: You know that British health care system that sent thrills up the legs of Obama and his progressive congress?  The system they want to emulate and imitate? British Prime Minister David Cameron says his government will make fundamental changes to Britain's state-run health care system," according to the Associated Press.  Cameron aims to save money and cut red tape by giving control over management to family practitioners rather than bureaucrats. He said Monday, “standards of care in Britain have fallen behind other European countries." You do remember that Dr. Donald M. Berwick, Obama’s Medicare and Medicaid administrator, praised Britain’s National Health Care system as "one of the truly astounding human endeavors of modern times" about 16 months ago.

ITEM: Hypocrisy comes unglued . . . . Is there something in Tucson’s water? One of the victims of Jared Loughner’s shooting spree in Tucson nine days ago was a man named James Eric Fuller. Mr. Fuller’s website:  http://www.hypnothoughts.com/profile/JamesEricFuller   states among other things: “I use extraordinary persuasive charisma to interest blasé, apathetic, oblivious and at times hostile voters to listen to the voice of justice and consanguinity.” In a crowded Tucson town-hall meeting, Fuller recently told a TEA Party leader, “You’re dead” and when removed by deputies, called out to all those assembled, “You’re wh_res!” This coming less than four days since Fuller made the round of talk show programs on radio and TV accusing Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Speaker of the House John Boehner and the TEA Party of full responsibility for the shooting that killed six and wounded fourteen. So whose speech is “uncivil” and “incendiary” and “violent,” Mr. Fuller? If you listen to the LEFT and you listen to the RIGHT in their own words and watch their actions (violent protests; in Arizona, Oakland, Seattle, Pittsburg, etc. compared with sedate TEA Partiers sitting in lawn chairs) you’ll find the vast majority of instances of such speech have long belonged to the LEFT and the violence of the speech is unquestionably theirs as well. We’re sorry Mr. Fuller got shot, but he and the LEFT needs to practice what he and the LEFT preach: non-violence, tolerance and fairness.

 

ITEM: The House of Representatives is voting this week to repeal Obamacare. As President Obama’s “State of the Union” speech approaches shortly afterward, we’ll get a good luck at his latest pledges “to work with Republicans” and “to refocus on jobs and the economy.” Shortly after that the House, now controlled by Republicans, will be dealing with raising the debt ceiling and seeking to rollback his unspent stimulus money; and to rollback the budget to levels not seen since 2008 or 2006. The President’s true colors (centrist or leftist) should emerge very soon. 

 

ITEM:  The Obama Justice Department is siding with Labor Unions wanting to be able to pass out literature in front of shopping centers.  According to the union claims, Girl Scout cookie sellers and Salvation Army Santas show "unfairness" to Unions.  The Supreme Court has long held that unions and political activity can be treated differently than bona fide benevolent organizations with regard to free speech and assembly on private grounds; but Obama wants to waste your money to give the unions another chance . . . .

In 2003, 2005, 2006, and again in 2008, then Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius killed legislation that would have tightened the rules for minors receiving abortions, tightened the rules for coerced late term abortions and tightened the rules in general for late term abortions.  In other words, from conception to  one minute before birth, Kathleen Sebelius insisted the womb be just another killing field for the unborn.  Now as head of HHS (Health and Human Services), Sebelius has reinstated the dreaded death panels removed from the health care bills by both the Republicans and Democrats, neither of who could face their constituents with the prospect of authorizing panels that could well sentence them or their loved ones to death via non-treatment of medical issues.


In a completely characteristic, brazen, cold-blooded move on Christmas eve, while the country celebrated the birth of a Savior, Kathleen Sebelius did with the stroke of a pen what Barrack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi were unable to do and that is to create morbid, end of life death panels.  Congress and the president so feared the wrath of the people that they specifically stripped the so called "death panels" out of ObamaCare.  Just the thought of government deciding who lives and who dies was too much for the American Public, but apparently not too much for this amazing guilful Obama Administration.


RIP.jpgSo, what does all of this mean?  Simple, government is back in the death business.  Now Ms. Sebelius will have  the opportunity to create death panels from sea to shining sea all across the country.  Such panels will necessarily be staffed by Progressives who, unfortunately, see the elderly sick, the unborn poor, the chronically infirmed as useless eaters, who as times get tougher, will be denied medical care in defference to more "viable" treatment candidates for the highest and best use of resources as concerns overall positive outcomes.  In other words, good Progressives will take the less expensive and treat them and let the infirmed elder, poor, and chronically ill die.  As Alan Grayson said of the Republicans, their idea of health care is "die quickly."  He was correct … he just had the wrong party.

One might ask why I would infer that such panels would be staffed by Progressives?  Simple.  No Christian or constitutionalist would sit on such a ghoulish panel.  That leaves the job to heartless, empathetically challenged progressives.  That, of course, begs the question:  Will politics eventually find its way into the death panels?  That is, will conservatives die at a much higher rate than liberals?  One  may say, “No,” but history says, “Yes.”


Politics, like fine dust, finds its way into everything.  For instance, had Sarah Palin needed government health care to deliver her down syndrome baby, would that baby have been born — or — would have that baby have received a death sentence from the death panel?  If two people are in need of the same liver, one a Progressive political leader, the other a member of the Tea Party, which is the more likely candidate for the transplant if progressives are making the decision?   

Now Ms. Sebelius will be deciding the fate of your grandparents, or parents, or perhaps even our chronically ill sibling with MS, or perhaps even you and your chronic illness.  The death panels will be sold to us as just counselling sessions, letting the patient know of their treatment options.  But you and I know the truth.  Before they are done, these will be nothing more than eugenics chambers deciding on what "class" of people live and what "class" of people are not worth trying to save.  In other words, your treatment will be determined by where society or the Progressive elite feel they can get the most bang for the buck.  And, if a deteremination has to be made between a Christian constitutionalist and a good agnostic Progressive, is there any doubt about who lives and who dies with none but Progressives on the committee?

For Ms. Sebelius, this is the big time.  No longer confined to killing only the unborn, now she has created for herself the power of life and death from the sparkle of the wine, to the glint in the eye, to the last tremmoring breath of old age.

Death comes calling and death's name is government.  To paraphrase Revelation 6: "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was government, and Hell followed with him."

 

ToeTag.jpgWhen government, and this president, becomes as brazen as to bestow upon themselves the power of life and death, I fear the worst has already overtaken us and that both death and hell will follow with it.  Can one even grasp the breathtaking arrogance of this?  Government has now assumed the power of life and death!  No longer content with just making us appear naked in the surrender position in airports, no longer satisfied with the killing of the unborn, now Ms. Sibelius and Mr. Obama have assumed the power to grant or refuse life itself.  This is the ultimate “Star Chamber,” which now decides how and when your life might end. 

Have you had enough YET?  Is it finally time to say, “NO MORE!”

Is it not time for the Republicans, on our behalf, to gather up what little manhood they seem to have left (after getting their collective butts kicked during the Lame Duck session) and demand both the repeal of these ghoulish death panels and the immediate firing of Kathleen Sibelius?  After her firing, will they have the courage to charge her with Contempt of Congress for this egregious offense?

This is beyond wanton.  This is an act of war against both the constitution and the people of this country!  If Mr. Obama refuses to fire her, it is time to call for his impeachment.  This is such a grotesque breach of the public trust that it warrants the severest action possible under the Constitution of the United States.  This, added to the continued insults, contemptuous behavior, and unconstitutional dictums of this administration are unprecedented since the treason of Woodrow Wilson.

Now for the worst news yet ... this hasn't even been deemed a major story in the media.

records the highlights of a mixed but, on balance, quite positive year 2010 for those of us who value and are willing to speak up and act to maintain America’s freedoms. Among the seven negative events mentioned, the three biggest lowlights of the year are clearly the signing into law of Obamacare; the one-year anniversary of the Obama stimulus with negative results on the jobs front at a cost to the taxpayers of $787 Billion; and the passage of the Dodd-Frank financial overhaul which, like Obamacare has the potential to prove itself one of the least principled government boondoggles in history.

            Among the thirteen positive events FreedomWorks listed, the top five arguably were these:

A.     The one year anniversary of the Tea Party protest movement championing fiscal- and Constitutional-conservativism and smaller, more competent government was celebrated.

B.    The Defeat of the Disclose Act (which even the ACLU was against) was a huge step for freedom of expression.

C.    The Election Day shift in paradigm from government-as-usual to government by the people.

D.   The Sound Money Panel was held on Capitol Hill.

E.    A Virginia judge has declared the mandated requirement of taxpayers to buy health insurance “Unconstitutional.”

Other lowlights listed by Freedomworks included Elena Kagan’s nomination and confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court; Ben Bernanke’s Quantitative easing which threatens to exacerbate inflation concerns; the “mini-TARP” Small Business and Credit Act became law; and the International Monetary Fund (The IMF largely financed by America) agreed to bail out Greece. The FreedomWorks site also ran . . .

We have a lot of work ahead of us in 2011. I, for one, am thoroughly disappointed with the Republicans in the 111th Congress after the Nov elections. They let Obama end the lame-duck session a winner, even after a historic shellacking, and it could not have happened without Republican votes.

Inelegant END-RUNS Rule the Day
Obama and Obamacare Officials SPIT

Cheerfully on U.S. Constitution AGAIN!

 

 

          To progressives, liberals, socialists, Marxists and other Obama fans, this is literally “less than nothing.” To living, breathing, feeling, thinking patriotic Americans the latest two outrages against our constitution and common decency enacted by the Obama administration are the final insults and a declaration of war against America and decent Americans . . . before we get to the latest desecration of the American Way of Life, let’s look at the serious Constitutional principles involved . . . .

            Any intelligent American knows that the system of checks and balances written into the Constitution by the Founding Fathers and the separation of the branches of government by giving us independent judiciary, house, senate and executive branches was done to protect our freedoms and allow the nation’s business to be conducted in a sensible and orderly fashion. Laws are not supposed to be created from the bench; or from the Oval office . . . that is the province of the house and senate. 

 

ITEM: When any judge can decide to tell the military how to run their business (for example: when a Riverside, California judge can order an injunction on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policies which will take action in 60 days) over-ruling congress without even a high-level appellate court getting involved and, by the way, unenthusiastically opposed in court by the Obama Department of Justice, that is an outrage.

 

ITEM: When failing to pass Cap and Trade legislation in early 2009; the Obama administration can order its Mean Greenies (willing to sabotage jobs and other human good for their distorted reading of ecological “necessity”) in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue a new regulatory standard on emissions declaring “Carbon dioxide is a toxic emission . . .” thus bypassing the congress and defiling the EPA’s own charter that is an outrage. When a legal challenge reminded EPA officials that they were required to do a study on their own and not allowed to rely on outside “research” before making such a move . . . and the EPA backed off and now . . . ten months later, not having done any legitimate study the EPA is once again calling CO2 (which plants need to live and to use to provide us with oxygen) a dangerous emission . . . that is a horrific outrage.

 

ITEM: When the EPA can make another such edict and stop farmers in Central California from irrigating their vegetable fuels (thus putting lots of people out of work and driving the cost of foodstuffs higher) citing danger to a 2” long fish (the delta smelt) rather than coming up with a cheap and efficient and effective way to stop the danger (EPA could surely come up with a smelt-danger pheromone, for example) to keep the dumb fish from getting near the irrigation intake, no? Why is it the farmer’s problem?) and thus putting much of the area around Fresno, California into 40% unemployment, that is a disgustingly short-sighted outrage.

 

ITEM: When rather than backing up and taking the time to do right by a major piece of legislation, President Obama can flim-flam an idiot like Bart Stupak to swinging the dozen or so so-called anti-abortion Democrats in the house to back Obamacare by giving him a single sheet of paper with the president’s promise that no federal funding of abortion is authorized under Obamacare and four months later we find out that the very earliest covered Obamacare “medical treatments” include federally-funded abortions . . . that is a monstrous outrage.

 

ITEM: When Obama promised that control over health issues by you and your doctor was inviolate and would be preserved by Obamacare that was the ultimate lie as you’ll see . . . .

 

ITEM: When for the first time in a lame-duck session a nuclear arms-reduction treaty is passed based upon President Obama’s promise (oral, this time) that the treaty will not affect U.S. missile defense that is an utterly dangerous outrage.

 

ITEM: When the Democratic dominated congress does not fulfill its most basic function and pass a budget while driving the country deeply into debt and Unfunded liabilities by passing outrageous spending bills and huge government boondoggles (like Obamacare); and passes several thousand page bills which have not seen the light of day in committees; are not even read or posted; and never offered up for meaningful debate or amendment; and told we can’t find out what’s in them until after they’re passed . . . that is Constitutional outrage of the highest order.

            What do all these outrages have in common? Every one of them is a refutation of Obama’s word on bi-partisanship; openness; transparency; and meaningful change; as well as a deliberate spitting upon the Constitution of the United States. And now we see a couple more acts in the continuing drama Barack Obama Uses the Founding Documents for Toilet Paper . . .  in a series of end runs, Obama shows us once again his total contempt for our Constitution and all great things American . . . .

            Among Obama’s other lies about Obamacare (not one dime added to the debt; no abortion funding; you can keep your present insurance; etc.) was the promise that no “death panels” were created by the bill. “Death Panels” also called “review boards,” mean government-conducted oversight of potential treatment to the elderly; the very young; the very sick; and severely injured people; and government-decision making allowing operations and treatment under these circumstances or denying circumstances . . . thus the name “death panel” is fitting. The death panel’s encouragement and authorization of “end of life consultations” (“Do you want to pull the plug?” “How about now, should we pull the plug?” “Have you thought this over real carefully, shouldn’t we just go ahead and pull that nasty old plug?” “Are you there yet --- ready to pull the plug?” “Are you there yet . . . ?) enraged the public so the provisions for it were removed in the Obamacare law that was passed. 

            Now, however, these hideous laws are back with a vengeance courtesy of the Obama administration and its bureaucratic fiats from Medicare officials. Representative Earl Blumenauer and Senator Jay Rockefeller who led the Democrats’ effort in Congress to pass Section 1233 of pending Medicare legislation, which would have paid doctors to include "end of life" counseling in their patients' physical checkups, the Congress as a whole voted to delete that provision from the original bill so Obamacare would have some hope of passing. Now that an even worse regulation has been created and added to the health care processes of the nation . . . Blumenauer has sent out an e-mail asking his supporters “not to say anything, as his office on the one hand praised the Medicare bureaucratic action but warned: "While we are very happy with the result, we won't be shouting it from the rooftops because we are not out of the woods yet." If this new regulation is so wonderful, why NOT shout it from the rooftops and alert the citizenry? Here’s why . . . .
            Speaker of the House designate, John Boehner, objected mightily to this provision in 2009, saying: "This provision may start us down a treacherous path toward government-encouraged euthanasia."  Now as Boehner feared we have not only “gone down the treacherous path toward government-sponsored and government-rewarded euthanasia” . . . we have done so by virtue of the actions of a lowly bureaucrat, someone we’ve never elected!!!

The great columnist Thomas Sowell put it this way, “Whatever the merits or demerits of the proposed provision in Medicare legislation, the Constitution of the United States makes the elected representatives of "we the people" the ones authorized to make such decisions. But when proposals explicitly rejected by a vote in Congress are resurrected and stealthily made the law of the land by bureaucratic fiat, there has been an end run around both the people and the Constitution.”

While the START Treaty vote can potentially get us blown to heaven or hell; there is no doubt that the Death Panels and the Death-Encouragement Education are the first step in Obama and Science Czar John Holdren’s master plan to kill off citizens whose lives prove to be too inconvenient to be continued . . . and clearly the chances for opponents of the administration to fit into that undesirable category are multiplied a hundredfold. Brave New World of HOPE AND CHANGE.
Can you remember Obama insulting conservative America as if he'd won 95% of the popular and electoral vote in 2008 . . . he said, "Elections have consequences" and went on to totally ignore all conservative voice and to ram his socialist agenda down our craws.   And once again he was lying, elections only have consequences when they go Obama's way.  He has zero intention of getting the message the 2010 election sent his way, ZERO!  "What's the big commotion?"  Can't you just hear the progressive Obama fans, to them this is literally “no big deal" moving toward adding "euthanasia by omission of treatment" as a prerogative of BIG GOVERNMENT.  This  continuous desecration, these outrages, these deliberate affronts to living, breathing, feeling, thinking patriotic Americans and common decency enacted by the Obama administration are the final insults and a declaration of war against America and decent Americans . . .

Repairing the American Republic
in Ten** Years
 
          Barack Obama is purportedly the “leader of the free world,” but all his political manipulations in the last two years have borne an ultra-socialist flavor and made America a much less free country; threatened the role of the American dollar as the “world’s reserve currency”; and done everything possible to kill the free markets’ abilities to return us to our natural position as the world’s leading economy. Here’s how we change all that and return the country to its former excellence:
 
 
  1. Immediately cut all federal salaries 15% and keep them frozen at this level until the budget is balanced and all UNfunded liabilities are funded.
  2. Otherwise cut all federal spending by 10% and similarly freeze it at those levels until the budget is balanced and all UNfunded liabilities are funded.
  3. Amend the Constitution to include a balanced budget amendment except in times of invasion of our country budget must balance and no future liabilities may go UNfunded.
  4. Amend the Constitution so that Unfunded liabilities are unconstitutional.
  5. Amend the Constitution so that the Federal Government has no power to demand state spending on Federal Programs.
  6. Initiate a flat very low income tax beginning at $30,000 earnings per person with no deductions allowed to anyone.  Every dollar earned above $30,000 by an individual is taxed at 16% by the federal government. For married couples every dollar earned above $70,000 is taxed at $16%.
  7. The corporate income tax for America is now the highest in the world. Drop it for ten years to a flat 5% on all earnings above $150,000 and jobs and businesses will flood back into this country.
  8. Put the country back on a hard money standard: one ounce of silver = $100 or (but NOT and) gold = $5,000 per ounce.
  9. Eliminate Federal Reserve banking and all the inflationary power that goes with it.
  10. Make unemployment insurance a purely federal program; cut unemployment insurance duration to 13 weeks.
  11. Set up a commission to eliminate duplicate or unnecessary programs or unconstitutional programs; and to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse of federal programs and require this commission to report to congress and the president every year two weeks before the State of the Union report by the president.
Eliminate Obamacare and
a.     Allow all citizens and businesses and states to shop across state borders for health care insurance
b.   Provide tort reform to eliminate nuisance malpractice suits and cap tort awards at $1,200,000
c.    Put the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in charge of improving Americans’ health and lowering medical costs.
d.   Reduce Medicare and Medicaid coverage to levels existing in 2000. There will be zero state Medicare or Medicaid coverage . . . only federal coverage at these new levels will exist.
 e.    Re-establish HSA’s as programs which people can use to responsibly plan their own health care funding protection

By the way, you may recall President Obama telling us that too much information was a bad, even dangerous, thing and recommending that we just read the Huffington Post to avoid confusion . . . .    Well, get this the owner of the HP website Arianna Huffington has declared that the  leftwing progressives “are responsible for all that’s good in America, 100%”. Does she mean the shrinking dollar? $112 TRillion in UNfunded liabilities just courtesy of Social Security; Medicare; and the federal side of Medicaid (not to mention that the new Obamacare legislation will, via the state side of Medicaid bankrupt every state but Utah and Texas by 2022; and all fifty by 2024)? Government and unionized government pensions bankrupting 43 of our states right now?

Obamacare Forces SEIU to Drop Children’s Coverage
It seems the free market is much more compassionate than Ms. Nanny State after all . . . . At the end of October the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) informed dues-paying members of its monstrously large 1199 affiliate in New York that it was dropping health care coverage for children. That's correct, you read it right, an ultra-radical Marxist union, not evil Republicans, is abandoning our ‘chilluns’ to cut rising health care delivery costs . . . .
According to The Wall Street Journal, more than 30,000 low wage service industry families will suffer because of the decision. Who's to blame? Mitra Behroozi, SEIU 1199 benefits manager, singled out oppressive new government regulations, including the progressives’ sacred cow, Obamacare. Specifically the rule forcing insurers to cover dependents of policy holders until age 26 was singled out by Behroozi who said the Union’s financial resources are “already stretched as far as possible.” These things will happen when to a Union that pushes hundreds of millions of dollars toward losing Democratic candidates and $60 million to elect Obama himself. Not to mention anteing up bus fare for thousands of their SEIU employees to stand out in the sun at a Comedy Central anti-TEA Party rally in Washington five days before the election. The road to hell is paved with progressive intentions . . . .
Obama and Dems Push for Trickle-up Poverty
Margaret Thatcher’s famous line about socialism, “Sooner or later they’ll always run out of other people’s money,” seems quite appropriate these days given the Obama administration’s and Congressional Democrats’ penchant for taxing and spending and expanding the size and scope and unconstitutionality of the federal government. At this moment when the fate of the soon-to-be-expired Bush Tax Cuts is still in the balance, it seems evident that the contrast between the two major parties could NOT be greater. The Republicans seeking smaller government, lower spending and lower taxes are seeking the obvious “trickle-down” economic answer that worked so well for Ronald Reagan and over the first three years of the G.W. Bush administration. The Democrats as always are seeking more taxes to spend for an ever bigger and more controlling and intrusive federal government . . . while doing so they’re hoping to inspire the middle-class voter with wealth-envy by letting only the tax cuts for those earning $250,000 or more annually expire . . . policies that Reaganites called “trickle-up” poverty.
Chinese, Russians Show Disdain
for Dollar as Trade Currency
China and Russia have jointly announced that they will use their own currencies for bi-lateral trade in an effort to avoid the risk that the two nations say the American dollar now represents. While Beijing and Moscow have long wanted to heal their longtime “rift,” the announcement of their trade settlement being based upon their own currencies is a telling statement about the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank’s recent Q1 and Q2 monetary easing (demonetizing American debt and devaluing the dollar). In effect both nations are saying, “Our currency is stronger than the BUCK; and so is yours so let’s abandon the dollar and protect our domestic economies.
The two countries have long used the currencies of other countries, most notably the American dollar for bi-lateral trade. Recently, however, the Chinese Yuan has been traded against the Russian Ruble in the Chinese interbank market while the Renminbi/Yuan from China is soon expected to trade against the Ruble in Russia according to Vladimir Putin in a press conference in a meeting with Chinese leader Wen who was making a trip to Russia two months after Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's three-day visit to China in September, during which he and President Hu Jintao launched a cross-border pipeline linking the world's biggest energy producer with the largest energy consumer.
From the viewpoint of America’s economy, IF this Chinese-Russian agreement proves to be but the first of a cascade of nation’s “bailing out of the dollar” truly bad times are ahead. From the viewpoint of anyone holding dollar bills, including all American citizens, the real question is “What took so long?” In late 2008, Fed Chief Ben Bernanke printed up fourteen times the circulating currency in the United States in new bills. Thus, then with fifteen times the previous level in circulation, the 2009 dollar was POTENTIALLY worth just 6 2/3 pennies of the 2008 greenback. Now in 2010, the two quantitative easings (Q1 and Q2) have doubled the money in circulation as recently as July of this year . . . potentially, then the dollar is currently worth 3 1/3 cents of the September, 2008 dollar. All in all, news that makes you proud to be an American, eh?

Since progressives sting us sufficiently with outright lies about instances where we get things 100% right, there’s clearly no sense giving them avoidable ammunition . . . .

What’s Wrong with the Pre-Obamacare

American Healthcare System?

First let us get the obvious out of the way, what can we learn from the usual progressive snafus? The inescapable fact is that President Obama and the whole gaggle of Democrats who created Obamacare know little or nothing about economics, health care or the American Constitution; and they showed less leadership than a dog knocking over a trash can to get to household scraps. Thankfully, they made two monumental errors that enraged the American people as a whole which may very well provide the stimulus to get the whole thing repealed and prevent that monstrous law from ruining our country. A) Instead of using their majorities in the House and Senate to pass a semi-reasonable but very progressive and specious bill that many in the country would have tolerated (unwisely) by say a 75%-25% margin in both chambers of the Congress, they shoved their unpalatable horror down America’s throat in a very high-handed and corrupt way utterly in keeping with the advice of their patron saint Saul Alinsky that “the end justifies the means” (in a book which he literally dedicated to Lucifer, a.k.a. Satan) and B) They won in the short-term but probably lost in the long-run by creating a law in which finding any single part of it unconstitutional invalidates the entirety of the law itself and gives the individual states a serious constitutionality issue by basing a good part of the finances for that law upon their utterly foolish comparison to car insurance where mandated coverage is the norm in every state. While there are other lessons to be learned by using the progressive-Dems Obamacare boondoggle as a bad example . . . those are the major lessons to be studied . . . .

We have only to examine one solitary statistic to understand the truth of the claims made in the previous paragraph. Do you know what the 4th leading cause of death in America is? Most Americans have never heard of iatrogeny, also known as “Death by Medicine.” If the full and unvarnished truth were known, iatrogeny would outnumber combined heart attack and cancer deaths in killing our people; not to mention injuring, dismembering, sickening and inconveniencing our people. Pilots have a checklist they go through before takeoff; doctors, nurses and hospitals need such a list but don’t have it. However, the biggest causes of iatrogenic deaths are from A) doctor’s ignorance of health principles (rather than disease) needed to educate their patients in improving their lifestyles B) the absolute dearth of emphasis on “prevention” and C) the evils done by the AMA (American Medical Association), the pharmaceutical companies, and the aforementioned FDA.

The AMA is the Spanish Inquisition of the 20th and 21st Century. They define orthodox medicine and they define heresy. They perpetually side with the most invasive, most expensive and least effective medical procedures and the most expensive drugs with the most and the most evil side-effects. “Prevention” is a concept seldom advanced by the AMA. For example, the AMA has been backing cholesterol reduction as the be-all, end-all for heart attack prevention for over 40 years even though less than 47% of the people who die from heart attacks actually have high** cholesterol. 47%!!!! That's not "cause and effect," that's less than a coin-flip. But they, in league with our unaccountable pharmaceutical companies, and the totally asinine FDA (the Food and Drug Administration) that oversees the pharmaceutical companies have pushed these dangerous concoctions despite knowledge that a "high-cholesterol/heart attack link is a MYTH pure and simple. The sins of the FDA could be the subject of a 500 volume set of encyclopedias.

The AMA created a list of about 60 diseases which they say are caused by problems with the body's immune systems (2nd link above) and called them all "auto-immune diseases" which means they are all in a practical sense incurable and again we set up the patient to A. not be cured B. told he/she must subscribe to a lifetime regimen with very dangerous and expensive drugs. The Mayo Clinic in the 40's and 50's cured people of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) but now the AMA prefers more expensive and dangerous MS medications that do not cure anything. In Europe they surprisingly do not have much interest in calling diseases "auto-immune" or "incurable" and not surprisingly they cure people of MS with rather inexpensive resources.

Medicine is a science, or should be, with a bit of art thrown in. The AMA, however, much like the Church in condemning Galileo, believes its authority is the final say. The scientific method starts with asking the right questions and pursuing them wherever they lead, not with relying on anyone's authority, least of all a hidebound entity like the AMA. Despite efforts in Europe and here in the United States to examine these diseases more scientifically, the AMA clings to auto-immunity as the final word.

Big Changes Coming to the Congress?

Time to put up or shut up! After their expected November gains, the TEA Party caucus within the Republican Party (headed by Minnesota’s Michele Bachmann with 52 other Republicans and so far no Democrats aligned with the fiscally- and Constitutionally-conservative TEA movement) expects to put into action an impressive war plan, how much the Republican Party goes for the TEA agenda remains to be seen. The TEA Party plan for the House has five steps. In keeping with the TEA = “Taxed Enough Already” or “Taken Enough Abuse” idea, expect:

1. Extending the Bush era Tax Cuts

2. Slashing government spending except Defense and Social Security by 40%

3. Repealing, or at least defunding, Obamacare

4. Creating a budget early on

5. Passing some package of legislation ultra-friendly to small- and medium-sized business to stimulate maximum jobs growth

Overall the effect of all this would cause a massive shrinking of the federal government from “the get-go.” YES SIR, YES SIR! As Ronald Reagan put it, “The federal government is not the answer to the problem; the Federal Government IS the problem . . . .”

Meanwhile, the fate of the Senate hangs in the balance with Republicans needing to win nine senate seats to take the majority there. South Carolina Republican senator Jim DeMint has received a lot of heat from non-TEA Republicans over his outspoken call to fully return the GOP to its conservative fiscal and Constitutional values. The numbers of TEA Partiers in the Senate is very small but they’re expected to wield a big influence upon the G.O.P. nevertheless.

But even before that happens, America might be in for a highly contentious lame duck session starting next week. If the Republicans make immense gains in the House and Senate and Governors’ mansions as predicted by the pollsters (+70 seats in the House; +8 senate seats; and +9 governorships), Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will come under great pressure from the Obama White House to “accomplish” some more of Obama’s pet projects such as Card Check for Unions; an illegal-immigration “reform” bill akin to the “Dream Bill; Gays in the military reform of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell; etc., etc. Everything but a budget (which they’ve failed to even attempt to pass) could be the Dems last minute rejection of the American voters’ rejection of them and their policies. That’s a lot of “gotcha” and wrong-headed animosity being expressed in Washington over the next two and a half months in Rajjpuut’s opinion and the Republicans in Congress will need to stand firm.

This standing firm will be very important since the voters are expected in six days to use the ballot box as a negative referendum on all things Obama from 2009 to present. As for the new Congress beginning in mid-January, the word is that while the newly formed TEA Party caucus within (but outside of) the elected Republicans in both chambers of congress wants a 40% slashing of government spending on everything but Defense and Social Security; and all Republican electees, TEA Party or not, are committed to some level of spending cuts and full extension of the Bush tax cuts to all taxpayers . . . the real question is how long can they extend the Bush Cuts and how much can they slash without encountering Obama’s veto? So the best guess is that we’ll see something like a 30% slash in government spending on “discretionary matters” and a three-year extension of the Bush Tax Cuts.

However, politics being what politics is . . . expect the Republicans to push through an eight- or ten-year extension of those cuts for the president to veto and then after the veto, it’s anybody’s guess whether a four-year extension can get presidential approval. The other two likely early efforts by a new Republican majority in the House of Representatives would be first of all to DEFUND and REPEAL Obamacare; and then to pass some package of support for small and medium-sized business to get the economy sailing with a following wind. Overall, expect political fireworks of a positive kind for a change come January.

What Would Real Healthcare Reform Look Like?

Much has been spoken and written about the incredibly corrupt process used to bring the nation the blessings of Obamacare. Talk about outright bribes including new hospitals; special legislative dispensations and the infamous Cornhusker Kickback, Louisiana Purchase, etc., etc., ad nauseum caught the stench of the matter pretty aptly. Politicians can be very corrupt. Progressive politicians exceptionally so, but perhaps more should be said about the private sector sell-outs we’ve come to know and love . . . in a phrase, since the companies and people involved didn't stand up for something, they fell for anything and everything that Obama promised . . . .

Every so often the utterly corrupt and totally INEPT progressive left-wing of the Democratic Party and their charismatic leader Barack Obama get something right in their understanding of the world. Shortly after the inauguration, remembering reading their Lenin that everyone of them has committed to memory chapter and verse, they must have been overjoyed when Barack Obama got the nation’s health insurance to pony up $170 million for advertising the virtues of their coming “Obamacare Healthcare Reform” efforts. A broad collectivist grin must have crossed their faces as they recalled Lenin’s description of “capitalists selling the rope, which we’ll use to hang them with.” Suicide by stupidity and self-destructive treachery . . . .

The insurance industry (unless something akin to repeal or even defunding of Obamacare happens within the next six months) has not only sold their souls to the devil, they sold America out lock, stock and barrel simultaneously. And, not only the health insurance industry per se, the up-till-recently well-trusted American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) also sold out for a hoped for chance to sit down at the final table when Obamacare would be drawn up . . . . Oh, what a sorry lot of Benedict Arnold’s they all turned out to be. And let’s really get to it, shall we, look at all those hundreds of millions of dollars that corporate America and the wealthy of America have donated to Barack Obama and all things progressive (we must ‘progress’ well beyond the outdated and severely flawed U.S. Constitution) over the last 45 years despite the clear progressive goal to undermine corporate America and hold a fire sale thereafter . . . not only traitors, but idiots as well . . . .

Enough, let’s look at real healthcare reform more closely . . . .

As in all legislative things Democratic under this president, the word “reform” found in the term “Healthcare Reform” referring to Obamacare is a weasel phrase that implies only a far greater control of the healthcare system by the federal government at far greater expense to the productive elements of society and certainly NOT any improvement in citizens’ health or lowering of costs or other benefit. But this begs the question, what would real healthcare reform look like? Leave it to the Ol’ Health Educator, Rajjpuut: here are the features that such real reform would boast of . . . .

REAL Healthcare Reform 5% of Startup Cost

and Huge Saving over Obamacare

Rajjpuut being a health educator who worked for a health insurance company, Rajjpuutcare (shown immediately below) is roughly some 50,000% better than Obamacare could ever hope to be even if they got rid of every bad aspect of that hideous law . . . .

A. Tort Reform capping malpractice awards; cutting doctors’ costs for malpractice insurance and dramatically lowering healthcare costs across the board.

B. Mandated “Procedural Checklists” for hospitals and clinics and operating rooms to reduce malpractice incidences; and dramatically lower the frequency of iatrogenic deaths, illnesses, and injuries (iatrogenic death, or doctors and hospitals and medicines killing people is the 4th leading cause of death in the nation) and lower health care costs.

C. Reform of the FDA and the USDA to ensure that the food supply and the drug industry are safe and actually working for the benefit of the citizens instead of endangering them. One of the most reprehensible facts about iatrogenic deaths is when doctors, nurses and patients do everything right but medicines harm or kill people which happens far too often today. The FDA is almost totally dominated by the pharmaceutical industry and “review” under the FDA is as corrupt a practice as civilization has ever known.

D. Set up a National Health Education office under control of the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Fund them with the necessary budget ($100 million) to create a series of dvd movies on preventive self-help healthcare and make these movies non-copyrighted properties that any school or individual citizen can buy for $8; or download for $4 off the internet; and that schools, hospitals, clinics and libraries can download and copy for free. Budget a series of public service TV addresses throughout the year 10% aimed at parents or would-be parents of babies and small children; 40% aimed at children 9-14; 30% aimed at most Americans 15-55; 20% aimed at older people and senior citizens . . . all aimed at helping empower people to be responsible for their own health.

E. Require any school receiving federal funds; or any licensed private school or home schooling situation in the nation to teach a minimum of one hour of health education per week; and offer a vigorous PE program (and recess for elementary kids) of 4-5 hours weekly. Part of this health care reform would remove the threat to teachers and coaches for typical incidents and injuries occurring from normal physical activity and only allow non-nuisance law suits where there is solid evidence of serious carelessness; or ignorance, or harmful intent by teachers that caused the problem. Getting kids into the exercise habit is paramount for lowering costs and increasing the health of the nation as a whole.

F. Base the prevention program on check ups conducted by the CDC outreach to give yearly exams to every citizen. Virtually all diseases caught early are much cheaper and more successfully dealt with.

G. Base the prevention and education programs on Rajjpuut’s “Nine Golden Rules of Health,” to wit:

1. No tobacco and no drug use (including minimal use of OTC medicines)

2. Only allow yourself extremely moderate or no use of alcohol.

3. Practice regular vigorous physical exercise appropriate for age and overall health and safety.

4. Maintain a healthy-normal weight with a healthy BMI and a healthy body fat%.

5. Eat a good healthy breakfast daily.

6. Eat 4-5 healthy meals daily with the largest meals early in the day.

7. Adults get 7-8 hours sleep every night; children 8-11 hours sleep appropriate for age.

8. Always use seat belts in moving vehicles and life vests in and around boats.

9. Pass and practice appropriate defensive-driving courses before being granted a driver’s license (and a national learner’s permit progam at age 17.5 and license program at age 18 is also highly recommended). The famous “Smith Technique for Defensive Driving comes to mind.

10.Bonus Rule: develop a good sense of humor; maintain a cheery outlook and don’t be afraid to talk to mental health care officials or teachers, pastors, etc. about incidences of depression.

Comment: A UCLA survey under the auspices of world-famous health educator Lester Breslow, Ph.D. showed that

seven salutatory practices upon which Rajjpuut’s list is based were found in virtually all the extremely vigorous elders the survey followed. When expanded to the general populace, Dr. Breslow’s 7 Golden Rules of Health explained fully what a “healthy lifestyle” was all about because a 55 year old man following 6-7 of the rules had the same life expectancy as a 20 year old man following none or just one of them. In other words, the two men might very well be expected to die on the same day 28 years in the future . . . and the 35 well-lived years difference in their ages is a representation of the sane-living older fellow’s “quality of life.” Achieving that quality of life is the aim of both preventive and educational efforts by the Health Care Reform.

H. “Rajjpuutcare” would look something like this: A healthcare insurance program run through individual insurance companies but funded and overseen by the government. Any proven incidence of abuse or fraud would void eligibility of the company involved for fifteen years. No company without a track record of ten years prior successful claims management, and/or oversight history can be part of the program. It’s set up as a catastrophic health insurance program much like our automobile policies with say $5,000 deductible for an individual unmarried person. People can opt to contract with health insurance firms for dental, vision or ordinary health care if they wish. The program would be only for major illness or accidents and the expenses associated with them. People must be subscribers to the program for twelve consecutive months before the first services might be utilized and reimbursed (this allows a build-up of funds); the government subsidizes the cost in part or in full for low-income citizens through tax credits;

I. Allow program transportability wherever the citizen travels in the United States or its territories.

J. Service will not be confined by state borders, that is, while state insurance boards may control all other forms of insurance . . . insurance companies signed into this program are not bound by state borders for the purpose of marketing or servicing this federally funded and overseen program.

K. At age 20 children must register for their own health insurance coverage – for this catastophic health care program – and serve a separate, individual twelve-consecutive-month waiting period, before being eligible for major medical claims. If say a person of age 55 paid $3,000 annually / $250 per month; a person of 20 proving themselves in decent health might subscribe for $600 yearly/$50 per month. A 25% annual cost savings would be available to those persons who report they are practicing the Golden Rules of health after signing a pledge to continue doing so so long as they are subscribers to the program.

Youthful subscribers would enjoy the same savings if they maintain a driving record free of violations during the previous year.

Because the program requires a year lead-in for fees and is covering virtually the entire population, the additional revenue generated will offset additional utilization costs for physician and hospital reimbursements for the catastrophic treatment expenses.

L. Allow no coverage or funding of abortions under the program.

M. A vastly-improved border control is in place and NO illegal aliens of any age are allowed into the program thus ensuring that the program benefits citizens now and in the future without threat of becoming overloaded by aliens.
